Speaker 1: to be a blessing to our community. For those of
• 1:46
Speaker 1: you who don't know. We started out as a Christian club, Yes,
• 1:51
Speaker 1: a Christian venue. We had a five thousand square foot
• 1:53
Speaker 1: warehouse we turned into a venue. We did free shows
• 1:57
Speaker 1: every month for six and a half, almost seven years,
• 2:02
Speaker 1: without missing. The only time we canceled is because of
• 2:07
Speaker 1: felled on Valentine's Day, and so you know, we didn't
• 2:11
Speaker 1: want to be in the doghouse. But other than that,
• 2:14
Speaker 1: we've been blessed to do this. We launched a radio
• 2:19
Speaker 1: station in their radio station, in a podcast network, and
• 2:25
Speaker 1: here we are, here we are so we want to
• 2:28
Speaker 1: reach the at risk youth and young adults, and we're excited.
• 2:34
  Speaker 2: To let y'all.
• 2:37
Speaker 1: Know about a great, great addition to our ministry. We
• 2:41
Speaker 1: just released a comic strip. Yes, that is right, a
• 2:45
Speaker 1: comic strip. I always wanted to be a cartoon artist
• 2:48
Speaker 1: when I was younger. When I first got saved, we
• 2:52
Speaker 1: would always look at these chick tracks, or I would
• 2:56
Speaker 1: always look at these chick tracks and I would read them.
• 3:00
Speaker 1: It was a great illustration comic book style, the pictures,
• 3:04
Speaker 1: the artwork was great. We were able to get the
• 3:07
Speaker 1: message through what we read. You know, also passed 'em
• 3:13
Speaker 1: out CRD. A few people are quite a few people
• 3:25
Speaker 1: that saved and were touched with the gospel at the time,
• 3:29
Speaker 1: so so it was awesome. It was it was beautiful,
• 3:35
Speaker 1: it was great, It was amazing. So all you have
• 3:40
Speaker 1: to do is download the app Here's our Radio on
• 3:42
Speaker 1: all platforms, and go to the menu tab. There was
• 3:47
Speaker 1: a menu tab to the top top left, top left corner.
• 3:53
Speaker 1: Clicked that mushroom button in the whole menu would drop down,
• 3:57
Speaker 1: scroll all the way down to comic strips, and the
• 4:01
Speaker 1: featured story that we have is the Rise of kJ.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: This is a Christian hip hop artist who is dealing
• 4:09
Speaker 1: with issues, dealing with situations and circumstances, a lot of temptations.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: You would think the temptations would not be in the
• 4:19
Speaker 1: Christian hip hop industry, but just like every other industry,
• 4:23
Speaker 1: or probably even more so in the Christian hip hop industry,
• 4:28
Speaker 1: you're faced with these temptations.
• 4:29
Speaker 2: We're faced with these trials.
• 4:34
Speaker 1: So each story is very powerful and impacting and leads you,
• 4:39
Speaker 1: I'm wondering what's going to happen next to our character,
• 4:43
Speaker 1: and then you have questions that you have to answer.
• 4:48
Speaker 1: You have group discussions. You can use this comic strip
• 4:52
Speaker 1: as a family devotion and you get together with your
• 4:56

Speaker 1: to use it as a tool for your youth, for
• 5:43
Speaker 1: the for your youth pastors, and to be honest, you
• 5:48
Speaker 1: can take if the if the senior pastor wants to

• 5:57
Speaker 1: not just the youth pastor, you know, all settings.

Speaker 2: You know, we would love that.
• 6:02
