- 2:58I'm muted. Hello, everybody, and welcome to
- 3:01Into the Weeds podcast here on military broadcast Radio.
- 3:04I'm Amber. And I'm Laura.
- 3:06And thank you so much for joining us tonight.
- 3:08We've had a pretty good week. Oh yeah, I've had a pretty good
- 3:11week, a very busy week, and we're going to have a busy few
- 3:16weeks, a busy May, so. Yeah, it's.
- 3:18Like a little mushroom festival. Not not the fun kind, but
- 3:24anyway, a little mushroom festival here in Missouri and
- 3:27tomorrow I'm going to some block party type thing and, and what
- 3:32else are we doing this month? Oh, well, we're going to
- 3:35Florida, I think, for my son's 20th birthday, so I think we're
- 3:40going to actually go to Universal and check out their
- 3:43new park. So that'll be fun.
- 3:46Nice to see you Main chick, Carrie and Jan and Rachel Baron.
- 3:51So yeah, we're we've got a lot of stuff going on.
- 3:54I actually been super busy this week.
- 3:56I've not only have I trained some veterans, but I helped out
- 4:01Nadatha Walker from YouTube and TikTok, helping her set up for a
- 4:07podcast and then search with Lisa.
- 4:11She's supposed to be here. I don't know if she'll be here
- 4:14or not tonight, so, but yeah, we've, we've just been extremely
- 4:18busy. And we do want to mention that
- 4:22today is Dee Dee Blanchard's birthday.
- 4:25So we want to say rest in peace and happy heavenly birthday to
- 4:29Dee Dee. You know I can't.
- 4:33Yeah, my mom is past. And so it's it's it's a hard
- 4:40thing. Well.
- 4:41I still understand, yeah. And a lot of things seem to have
- 4:46been happening today on Dee Dee's birthday.
- 4:49Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 4:53That whole thing that Gypsy did to Ryan Anderson, I think that's
- 4:58not cool. No, it's not cool at all.
- 5:00It's a little. Weird.
- 5:01But like that's not, it's not cool to be giving out all this
- 5:03like medical information about people, especially when you're
- 5:07kind of upset that people are giving medical information about
- 5:10you, which I totally agree. Like you should be upset but you
- 5:13know two Reds don't make it wrong.
- 5:15Yeah, yeah. I mean the fact that she knows
- 5:19what it feels like to have her medical information out there
- 5:23without. Her.
- 5:25Yeah, without her desire for it to be out there.
- 5:29I know she gave her consent at one time so I can't say without
- 5:32her consent, but definitely to know the fact that she feels a
- 5:39certain way and then didn't reciprocate that feeling to Ryan
- 5:45and and think about what he was feeling is just really crappy.
- 5:49I mean, what did you really expect?
- 5:51Yeah, I know, I know. Hi.
- 5:53Hey, Miss behaving Sintaz, my Michelle and we are live on
- 5:59Tiktok as well. It's through MBR Radio's
- 6:03channel. So if you are actually, it would
- 6:08be great if some people would go and check it out on TikTok so we
- 6:12can get NB Rs following up some and share it out please.
- 6:18So yeah. So today we actually are going
- 6:22to be joined by Lisa from The Search with Lisa's YouTube
- 6:28channel and TikTok. And she is somebody who talks
- 6:32about missing people and true crime and stuff like that.
- 6:37And a couple days ago she she did a video about why what's
- 6:43wrong with the true crime community?
- 6:45Why is no one watching about missing people and unsolved
- 6:47crimes and things like that. And I thought it was a really
- 6:50good, good video. And to just kind of remember
- 6:57that true crime should be not only about learning, but it also
- 7:03should be something that we tried to be proactive.
- 7:08Yeah, proactive, get things solved, you know, and that's one
- 7:13of the reasons, the true crime stuff that I actually do, that's
- 7:18the kind of stuff that I normally want to talk about.
- 7:20You know, it's stuff that we can affect change and so make a
- 7:25difference. Yeah.
- 7:26So we're going to bring Lisa up. I'm going to play our little
- 7:30interview of the week. The interview of the week is
- 7:35brought to you by Jersey Mike's, a sub above.
- 7:42Hello, Lisa. Welcome.
- 7:44How are you? We're pretty good.
- 7:46Good. How are you doing?
- 7:47I'm. Doing good.
- 7:48I liked your your little sponsor and that was really nice.
- 7:53And I love Jersey Mikes. I love you.
- 7:57Yeah, I do too. They they provide sandwiches for
- 8:00the guys at the studio in Denver.
- 8:03And so that's that's how they sponsor us.
- 8:06So we like to give them credit. Thank you for having me.
- 8:10Hello everybody. I had them on the private chat,
- 8:13so I was like straight buddy. So I just switched it over.
- 8:18So hello everybody. Yeah, hello.
- 8:20Justin, welcome in. Yeah.
- 8:24So, Lisa, thank you for joining us.
- 8:27And we, we spoke for probably a couple hours yesterday.
- 8:32Yeah, and it was so nice. It was so nice.
- 8:34It really was. I was thinking how much did we
- 8:38get accomplished? But it was a great time and it
- 8:41was it was a great chat and I did learn some things from you.
- 8:44So thank you. I know what you're doing is
- 8:47helping so many too as well so. Yeah, and your dad is a veteran
- 8:51as well. Yes, he was, he was in the Army.
- 8:54So he did a little over 20 years with the Army.
- 8:59So, yeah, growing up as a Army brat was a great experience.
- 9:04It really was. I, I love the military
- 9:07community. I find it so the fact that you
- 9:11you know, you as well as veteran and working and I I just think
- 9:15that's great because it is different than being in the
- 9:20civilian life and I it really is and half of my childhood like I
- 9:26spent over in Germany. So we did three tours of Germany
- 9:31and I and it really was we were all each other had.
- 9:35So I really didn't even experience some serious things
- 9:40that we have in America going on, like even like racial issues
- 9:44and stuff like that. When we were over there, there
- 9:47it was everybody was green. That was it, you know, and that
- 9:51was the truth. We were for all holidays for
- 9:54any, any grieving, any happy things.
- 9:57It was. But we got to go all over Europe
- 10:00and see things that I had such a great experience, which I think
- 10:03today has helped me with things I do in social media cause I've
- 10:08been to some places. I, I not jump starting, but I
- 10:13experienced going to Prague and Czechoslovakia before it was
- 10:18Czech Republic. So it was still for communists
- 10:22over there. I don't know why my, my mom is a
- 10:24teacher. So we always had spring breaks
- 10:28and so why she thought we needed to go to communist country to
- 10:32tour. But we would do these things
- 10:33called ITT tours. So they were, they were not
- 10:37expensive and we could go and it was so we would go with a lot of
- 10:41people. And I believe it's, I'm not
- 10:44mistaken, it's crystal that's really cheap in Czechoslovakia.
- 10:49It's either, I don't think it's China, I think it's crystal.
- 10:52And so that was kind of main reasons a lot of people went to
- 10:55collect that. And, you know, we got to just
- 10:59see just things that you would never see.
- 11:02And so that was things like that.
- 11:05And then we got to go to like Anne Frank's attic.
- 11:08So I got to see things like that over in Amsterdam and then the
- 11:12other side, like Austria and seeing Hitler's things, the
- 11:18Eagle's nest. So you really, you know, growing
- 11:20up and seeing things like that I think really helped with where I
- 11:26am today. I really do so.
- 11:28That actually excites me. All the all that stuff.
- 11:30I'm like, oh, history, history. Yeah, I know.
- 11:32I love history. I'm definitely because I am not
- 11:34a math person. I I am definitely a history
- 11:38person. And Laura, I wanted to say hello
- 11:41to you. So this is your daughter, right?
- 11:42Laura, Hello. Nice.
- 11:43To meet you. You too?
- 11:47Yeah. Sorry about that.
- 11:48Oh, yeah. No, it's OK.
- 11:49I just want to make sure I said a lot.
- 11:52But yeah, I'm definitely more of a history person.
- 11:55I actually was going to school at one time.
- 11:57I wanted to teach history and, but things were so different
- 12:02when I went to school. There wasn't a lot of, I think
- 12:05then I was doing like U.S. history, more Civil War history.
- 12:09And so now what is taught in school is a little bit different
- 12:14than what I would have concentrated in, which I still
- 12:17think I could have done. But yeah, it's a little, it is
- 12:20different compared to what we studied versus now, which I
- 12:23mean, it's good we're evolving. But so, but I remember it really
- 12:29that's what helped me kind of like trigger me into enjoying
- 12:32history growing up and seeing so much.
- 12:35And it's really good when you are raising awareness, I think
- 12:38to have those experiences. And so, yeah.
- 12:42Yeah. Now, what was one of the main
- 12:45differences you saw in the Communist country versus
- 12:50America? So, you know, it's what sticks
- 12:54out in my head is I feel like everything was brown.
- 12:59Does that make sense? Like very not colorful.
- 13:04There were guards with guns. I've never really experienced
- 13:09anything like that dictatorship. So also when we were there, like
- 13:16the water was not good. We could not drink.
- 13:18Literally they said don't drink the water because it wasn't
- 13:22healthy. You know, Also when we got, I
- 13:26remember it when we were going in our rooms, we were told to
- 13:30not speak about certain things like military subjects.
- 13:33They could be bugged and like, why are we on this trip?
- 13:37Like if we're getting these warnings, but I can remember us
- 13:40going in and then coming on the bus and they had a gun, like
- 13:45guns strapped on their back to just kind of, I mean, they
- 13:48respected us and they were, you know, cordial with us.
- 13:52But it was not a welcome come on into our country.
- 13:56You know, it was basically because they were making money
- 13:59from us and we had to be very when we would go places, I
- 14:05remember having tour guides or tour people with us, like we
- 14:10could just go off, you know, like now you like if you go on a
- 14:14trip with a tour people, you know, they say, OK, go off on
- 14:17excursions and do that and meet us back.
- 14:20We had you won. You had to be together in groups
- 14:23and you had to have a little more protection with you.
- 14:26So I remember those things, but the food and it's not about the
- 14:32culture food, if I remember it just not being like you were a
- 14:38little leery, like I don't know, the cleanliness definitely.
- 14:43It just was not, it was a sad looking country.
- 14:48It was, it was sad. And like I said, I just remember
- 14:54brown. It wasn't lit up at night.
- 14:57It wasn't, it wasn't inviting at all.
- 15:01So it wasn't somewhere you wanted to be long, you know, And
- 15:05but yeah, it wasn't. And so I hope today, you know, I
- 15:09haven't been back. You know, now that it's Czech
- 15:11Republic, that all the changes. But when you see things on TV in
- 15:17some of these countries, when they show like, you know, Iran
- 15:22and just different things that just don't look very inviting,
- 15:26that's exactly what what you're getting over there.
- 15:29And nothing, I'm not saying anything about Iran.
- 15:31I'm just saying like that's something that comes to mind
- 15:33when I see some countries. That's what I see because we
- 15:37have some countries that are just poor countries, but they're
- 15:41very happy to see people come in and they welcome you.
- 15:45And it may not be the the best looking country, but they're
- 15:48very happy to have you there. That's not that was not the case
- 15:52at all. So definitely.
- 15:55Different. You probably felt like you were
- 15:56somewhere you shouldn't be. Yeah, I was kind of like, why
- 15:59are we doing this the whole time?
- 16:02And I, I had a broken arm at the time too.
- 16:04And so I was like, just when are we leaving?
- 16:06And then my mom took me and I was a little younger, so this
- 16:09was the last thing I wanted to do.
- 16:11And I remember one of the tours where we did a we went to go see
- 16:14Macbeth. That's the last thing I wanted
- 16:17to do. And sitting in like, like I felt
- 16:21like no air conditioner with a cast on my arm watching Macbeth
- 16:26play, I really could have cared what?
- 16:30Kind of goes with the whole mood.
- 16:32Right. Oh, so anyway.
- 16:35But yeah. OK, So what got you into talking
- 16:41about what you're talking about now on your channel search with
- 16:44Lisa? Yes, the search with Lisa.
- 16:46So to keep it short and not drawn out, I did.
- 16:52So I was a young mom. I had my son when I was 20,
- 16:57almost 21. And so I did what I did,
- 17:04substitute teaching and luckily I landed some permanent jobs
- 17:08with that. What I mean by permanent is when
- 17:10like say maternity leave. So I saw you that you would get
- 17:14like the long term job. And then there was times where I
- 17:17could have, you know, just here or there and it worked for me.
- 17:22And I'll tell you that it kind of goes back because I was
- 17:25dealing with medical help things and issues and so and I didn't
- 17:30know what was going on in this when I was younger.
- 17:33And I also worked with a law firm as well.
- 17:36But the substitute really worked out for me just with having a
- 17:40young child and being able to work around that well while
- 17:44substituting. Also, I got a job working in the
- 17:48autism pre-K. So that was my first experience
- 17:54of doing that and it I had never had any because I don't have
- 17:59anybody in my fat, my father in the family with autism or
- 18:02anything like that. So I'd never been around that.
- 18:05And it just kind of like you as you go through life, there's
- 18:09something that sparks you. And I really had a connection
- 18:12with that. So I'll leave that there.
- 18:15So that that's the connection that started me with that.
- 18:18And so, but growing up, I, I always had some things going on
- 18:26with mental health. I had a great family, like I
- 18:30said, we did a lot. I had my mom was a teacher.
- 18:32I was the only child. So things were good.
- 18:35And there was no reason that I should have felt sad a lot or
- 18:40just not right. I dealt with a lot of like body
- 18:43aches and nobody was knowing thing.
- 18:46And I'm 47. So there was no Google.
- 18:49There was no like figuring out I would go to doctors and nobody
- 18:54was fixing anything. Well, when I hit about 15 or 16,
- 18:59I finally got tested for my thyroid and they found out that
- 19:03I had hypothyroidism. So anyway, they gave me medicine
- 19:08and that was the journey that has never still today totally
- 19:12been solved. But at first I remember it kind
- 19:17of helping a little bit. But I had like this chronic leg
- 19:20pain and things like that. So moving forward, I continued
- 19:27to I got in a car accident in my young 20s and anyway that led to
- 19:33having I like broke my knee, my jaw, my eye.
- 19:39I'm not and break my eye. I actually.
- 19:42But. So, yeah, so there was a little
- 19:45more issues now coming on and like the pain.
- 19:48So I never felt quite right, just to kind of give you about
- 19:51like nothing felt right. I always battled with my weight.
- 19:55I wasn't overweight like I am now, but I always had to make
- 19:59sure not to go over these. Like, you know, I had to always
- 20:04make sure I was active or I would really put the weight.
- 20:07I would put weight on. And so everything was a struggle
- 20:10and I'm like, what is? I just felt so alone.
- 20:13So that's when it comes. I felt so alone.
- 20:15So I'm going through life and I have my son and so I'm starting
- 20:19to get the experience with the autism.
- 20:21And anyway, as I get older, I then have my own business and
- 20:29that worked for me. We moved, we lived in
- 20:32Fayetteville because my father was stationed at Fort Bragg and
- 20:35retired there. And then my mom continued to
- 20:38work and then he went and worked for the state.
- 20:40So we just stayed there. So then we had an opportunity to
- 20:44move to the beach. I mean, I wasn't living with
- 20:47them then. I was out on my own, but he
- 20:50worked for the state in his last three years before he retired.
- 20:52They said there's opportunity to where we live now to move and we
- 20:56were like, yes, we'll all move to the beach.
- 20:58So that's how we got here and then I got into my own business.
- 21:02Now part of my business was dealing.
- 21:05It was sweepstakes and it kind of like casino type things.
- 21:10Well, in North Carolina they stopped all of that.
- 21:13So here I was, what am I going to do?
- 21:16I physically had never really gotten better.
- 21:19It was getting worse. But you know, I just what was I
- 21:25going to do? And that for a while I had
- 21:28thought about writing a book because I had kind of tracked my
- 21:33life a little bit of what's going on and through these years
- 21:36started to figure out. So here we go guys.
- 21:38I kind of just had to give a background.
- 21:41So I said, well, you know, I think that I, I can't be the
- 21:47only one that has gone through this and not known what is going
- 21:52on with them and autoimmune. Because as I got out, of course
- 21:56we get computers and we start figuring out and I start seeing
- 21:58more doctors and I'm getting older.
- 22:00But I want to, I want people to know that it really messed up my
- 22:03child, my elder wear to where I, I even left school and it, it
- 22:10really I, I missed out on a lot of things in life and I made bad
- 22:15decisions I because I was not, I had a lot of anxiety.
- 22:20I, I just dealt with a lot and I had no one to turn to and I
- 22:24just, that always was a staple with me.
- 22:29I also had a situation that I won't get into with my with my
- 22:34child and I was taking care of his brother that was from
- 22:38another father, not mine. But I was taking care and there
- 22:42was a missing also situation and luckily they were found.
- 22:46So that was something else that really got.
- 22:50So anyway, I decide I'm going to do, I'm going to get into social
- 22:55media. And my purpose was never to be
- 22:58like social media famous. I was in my early, late 30s, I
- 23:02mean, not early 30s, late 30s. And I just said, you know, if
- 23:06all's I do is bring people together that are going through
- 23:11something because I just remember feeling alone and I
- 23:15just knew there needed to be awareness.
- 23:17So at this time there was not TikTok, there was not there was
- 23:22like there was YouTube. And so there was a platform you
- 23:26now, which was strictly live streaming.
- 23:28A lot of big Youtubers actually started on you.
- 23:31They've been around 13 years now, I believe a lot of
- 23:35Youtubers have started from there.
- 23:36So some have heard of it, some have it and I've heard of it.
- 23:41Yeah, I know you had. So it's very strange because it
- 23:44is a big, a big platform, but obviously a lot of don't, well,
- 23:49they don't deal with like third parties.
- 23:51They don't have ads. They're it's just them.
- 23:54It's kind of like you wear a lot of hats on there.
- 23:56You're a supporter, you're a creator.
- 23:58So yeah, it's, it's a hard app. It's a hard app to be very
- 24:03successful on, but you can do it.
- 24:06And anyway, so I said, what am I going to do to get people I to
- 24:12like know what I'm doing? I can't be like, Lisa loves
- 24:15lollipops or, you know, like nobody's.
- 24:18It's not going to stand out. How am I going to stand out?
- 24:21I didn't know much about social media.
- 24:23I'm not tech savvy. So I created a name.
- 24:27Conquer thyroid issues. OK, so I made the conquer kind
- 24:32of small. I made the issues kind of big so
- 24:34it could kind of separate and not go all the way together.
- 24:37So when I started it, one, people kind of had like nobody
- 24:43had seen like a name like that. And what I meant by saying there
- 24:47was no TikTok or anything. So people that I've seen raising
- 24:50awareness, there was that going on, but it would be like one
- 24:53thing, like breast cancer awareness, children cancer,
- 24:57autism, if they would focus on one thing, which is great, you
- 25:00know, but I thought what autoimmune, There's hundreds of
- 25:05autoimmune things and at the end of the day, pain is pain and
- 25:10having an autoimmune issue, a lot of it all dwindles with
- 25:13same, you know, a lot of the symptoms replicate each other.
- 25:17And, and I just thought if I can help younger people that don't
- 25:23know how they're feeling, I knew that the an aligning rate was
- 25:27high. And I can imagine when you don't
- 25:31know what's going on with you, you don't, or if you're in
- 25:34chronic pain and you don't know how to deal with it, you know, a
- 25:37lot was going on with the opiate crisis, things like that.
- 25:42So anyway, I joined this app, that's what happens.
- 25:45And I put in a lot of work. I can remember starting off with
- 25:50one or two people in my chat was strictly live streaming.
- 25:53And so that's what brought me there.
- 25:55So to move the story faster, after about 8 months, nine
- 26:01months, I became partner on there.
- 26:04And once I became a partner on there, gradually I had created
- 26:08shows, which the search is one of them, but I had create a show
- 26:13Heart to Heart, which was something similar like this
- 26:17setup, but they had like lupus or they had whatever they were
- 26:24going through now. I had people on there that had
- 26:27been diagnosed from like black mold.
- 26:28Whatever their story was, I had them come and it wasn't a woe is
- 26:34me type of thing. It was this is my story.
- 26:38They would tell a little bit about their life and then when
- 26:40they started having symptoms, what they went through, what
- 26:43they're going through now and then what they do like positive
- 26:47to try to conquer life. So after partnership, I took the
- 26:52thyroid out because I noticed I was getting a lot of different
- 26:56autoimmune things and I went to conquer life.
- 27:00So at that. So that's what I started doing
- 27:04and that started bringing the community together.
- 27:07There was many people, they would come on and like that
- 27:10gastroparalysis, you know, dealt with brain tumors.
- 27:14I mean, you just name it, we had it on there.
- 27:17Thyroid issues and I and I have Hashimoto's, which later I found
- 27:22out is which is the autoimmune disease that causes
- 27:26hypothyroidism, kind of like grave disease is the opposite,
- 27:29yeah. My mom and my mom and grandma
- 27:33and aunt have Graves' disease, right?
- 27:35So they're probably like all over the place, can't sleep,
- 27:38can't, they're like opposite, you know, of me and I'm, I'm
- 27:42like, can't stay awake. So, but that can be very hard.
- 27:47Great Graves' disease can be very hard.
- 27:49And so anyway, we, I did some, a lot of charity things on there.
- 27:56One of my first chairs every day was for the Autism Society.
- 28:00Every April. I like to do something big with
- 28:03them. And we did it for the May
- 28:05Institute. I don't know if you're familiar
- 28:07with them. And that was the first one that
- 28:10I ever did and it was really great.
- 28:13We raised about $700.00, which I just thought that was amazing
- 28:17for me. I know people do thousands, but
- 28:19I was like, you know, for us to bring the community together and
- 28:22we had like entertainment all day and anybody that wanted to
- 28:26tell a story, like we had like 15 minute slots for 12 hours and
- 28:30people did whatever and entertainment in between from
- 28:33the musicians on the platform and it was just really great.
- 28:36So through the years I started to really blossom on there and I
- 28:42really grew. And when I left I, I had grown
- 28:46to about 50,000 followers and I called my people the warriors.
- 28:52I still say warriors. So I brought this shirt to show
- 28:57you it was when I was alive and we talked about the lupus.
- 29:01Remember I said I did a lupus and we sold merch for that.
- 29:05And so I said 2019. So this tells you how far we go
- 29:09back. So that's 2018.
- 29:11So you'll see CTI. Then it was Conquer Thyroid
- 29:14Issues, but that's the shirt. We did the butterfly.
- 29:17So I found that and I thought, oh I want to show.
- 29:20That, you know, I have tested positive for lupus four times,
- 29:25but but they say that I don't have it.
- 29:28And part of the reason they say I don't have it is because my
- 29:31hands don't turn blue when they're cold or whatever.
- 29:35Yeah, it's very hard to get a full diagnosis, isn't it?
- 29:38Yeah. So I they've diagnosed me with
- 29:41undifferentiated connective tissue disease, which means they
- 29:45don't know what I have. Right issue.
- 29:47You're messed up, Lee. Yeah, you're just messed up.
- 29:51You're screwed. And that's, and that's how, and
- 29:54that's how a lot of us feel because finding out things and
- 29:59it's amazing how many people were and, and when you're doing
- 30:05things like, like what you're doing and, and having people up
- 30:09and telling their story, it takes a long time to build that
- 30:14safe space because you know now and, and that's why.
- 30:20So I'll, I'll just move forward. So that was my thing.
- 30:23I did that for me. You can see on there was 2018
- 30:26when we did that one. I, my mom at the time, was
- 30:30diagnosed in 2019 with dementia and very early in age, so early
- 30:3860s. All right, but it wasn't as bad
- 30:42then as we got to about 20/22, she really started starting to
- 30:48decline. And also the app had been bought
- 30:52by another person. And so things were starting to
- 30:56change. And I thought I knew I was going
- 31:00to have to start taking care of my mom, coming home, taking care
- 31:04of her. I have no other siblings.
- 31:06I have a son. He's here at this time.
- 31:08He was at NC State. He went to college and so I knew
- 31:14I had to figure something out and I could not be full time
- 31:17because on there I was full time and that's it takes a lot of
- 31:21that to be successful in social media.
- 31:24Luckily, I had built a great support group on there and a
- 31:28great just family. I am so grateful for them.
- 31:32And so I could kind of just go on when I could, but I just I
- 31:37had to take a step back now how I got full time.
- 31:41I also suffer from chronic pain. It's a horrible life condition,
- 31:44no matter how it it's aware of the origin.
- 31:48This definitely for his friend. And that's exactly what in doing
- 31:52what I start doing, people were finding each other.
- 31:55So example like for his friend just said that.
- 31:58So I would say everybody make sure you fan for his friend, you
- 32:02know, and because people then could find and I say many all
- 32:06time MINI like support group something that they relate to.
- 32:11Like you have lupus. So somebody here may have lupus
- 32:14or just or don't know what they have, but they stay in chronic
- 32:17pain and doctors don't do the right testing.
- 32:21And so that's what we got out of those and and I literally did
- 32:25probably over hundreds of those type of interviews.
- 32:30And so it was, it was really a great thing.
- 32:33And I did not want to leave social media, but I didn't know.
- 32:36So with doing that show, I had a couple of things I did
- 32:41everything would intertwine. So I had a self-care night on
- 32:45Monday nights where I would do self-care things like mask, mask
- 32:51and care things. That just was like me time and I
- 32:54would have a guest up and they would do that too.
- 32:57And it was a way to just like, don't worry, we didn't have
- 33:01filters and stuff like TikTok does or anything.
- 33:04So, you know, just don't worry about being up there with masks
- 33:08on your face and not having your hair totally done and curled and
- 33:13it didn't matter. It's about you and take care of
- 33:15you because inside matters than the outside.
- 33:18And whose birthday is it? I keep seeing happy.
- 33:23Is it one of y'all's birthday? No, it's Dee Dee Blanchard's
- 33:26birthday. Oh, OK.
- 33:29Have. Yes, definitely.
- 33:30Happy birthday. OK, good to see you.
- 33:32I thought I'd see something yesterday about that.
- 33:35I just thought it was somebody in here.
- 33:36I'm sorry. No, no, no.
- 33:39You're good. No, it's important to remember
- 33:41Dee Dee today. Yeah, I and so now moving
- 33:46forward, hey CJ, I see CJ, I'm starting to see people in here
- 33:50and CJ is so funny. I like what I see is day because
- 33:55it's so funny. So but yeah, I'm glad that
- 34:01people are. I haven't been much on social
- 34:05media today, so I hope there wasn't, you know, anyway, so OK,
- 34:12so I had things like that. I also you couldn't constantly
- 34:16just do serious stuff, you know, you had to break away and have
- 34:18fun. So I'd have game night on Friday
- 34:20nights. I so I had a good schedule.
- 34:23Thursday night I did a show called The Search, which is what
- 34:26I brought here, but I started it was called The Search.
- 34:29The first thing I ever really covered was when Valo started
- 34:35the Glory Valo, all that and the kids then still hadn't even
- 34:38found. And there was a woman on here,
- 34:42last name was Rainy, and she was really big into this story.
- 34:48And she actually, one of my friends from you now knew her on
- 34:53here. And so Miss Rainey came over.
- 34:56I shouldn't say it. We're about the same age.
- 34:58And fortunately she passed away. She was really big on finding
- 35:04these children. That was her focus.
- 35:07They, you know, they were missing.
- 35:08And so Jen had said, this is the first time we're ever kind of
- 35:13doing a, a true crime type of thing.
- 35:18And we would appreciate, since you're so familiar with this
- 35:21story, to kind of be there because we wanted to make sure
- 35:23everything was factual. We've done a lot of research.
- 35:26And so she came over and, and she really praised what how how
- 35:32we did it, what we did. And it made me feel good because
- 35:35she was really good over here, what she did and and in fact,
- 35:41she was what that's why some people may know who I'm talking
- 35:44about. So she was one that really
- 35:46covered. And this is so strange because
- 35:48her focus was finding those children and she passed away
- 35:53unexpectedly just and I don't know the fool, but I know it was
- 35:57unexpected and literally within days of the of her passing away,
- 36:03they found them. And I always just like gives me
- 36:06goosebumps. Like she really because she was
- 36:09determined to help find those children and it was just so.
- 36:14But anyway, so with the search, what I wanted to do, because
- 36:19where Conquer Life was going, I wanted somehow to get either
- 36:25either a, the nonprofit foundation going to where I can
- 36:30help others. And I had decided that whatever
- 36:34I was going to do at that time, I was going to support the
- 36:38missing people families with the searches.
- 36:41Because what people don't realize is are people realize,
- 36:44but they don't want to think about it.
- 36:46Someone's child goes missing. Like you can't even function.
- 36:49You can't work, you can't. And I know in some cases
- 36:53communities will help, but guess what?
- 36:55There's a lot that doesn't get any recognition and the only one
- 36:58that knows is your parents or your friends, close friends and
- 37:02the next door neighbor. There's no media high girls
- 37:05driving a bit. This is fine.
- 37:11Hey, Jerry. Nice seeing you.
- 37:13I hope so. Classify is that?
- 37:16Yeah. Yeah, me neither.
- 37:19I. Don't think we are, no.
- 37:22I will say I've done, I have done some Jeb channels, I mean
- 37:27Jeb confrontation, but I really on that angle, like I said
- 37:32before, I don't care about the outfit of the day.
- 37:35I did something like hybristophilia.
- 37:37I talked about that, which is why it's kind of the Bonnie and
- 37:40Clyde syndrome of why people. So I kind of analyzed Ken and
- 37:44Ryan, like, why would you write Earth to begin with?
- 37:48So I did something like that. I have had a couple little rants
- 37:52where it's like, this is enough, you know.
- 37:55And so I, when I did talk about it, I really tried to focus on
- 38:00something that made a difference, not be just another
- 38:03echo chamber, you know? But anyway, so that was what
- 38:08that was my passion. That was what I wanted to do
- 38:10when I had to step back and realize that I'm going to have
- 38:14to step back in social media, which is 1 going to cut into my
- 38:18income. So getting a, a nonprofit now
- 38:21was kind of not in the picture. So what was I going to do?
- 38:27I did not know how to edit well, and I knew that I wasn't going
- 38:32any further on that app because I had just kind of tapped out on
- 38:35it. I was I had moved.
- 38:37I had gathered as much as I could on there.
- 38:40They weren't going any further. They're kind of stagnant.
- 38:43And if anything now they've gone down and I'm that's just the
- 38:46honest truth and that happens that they've had to run and
- 38:49that's it. So I had a friend that said,
- 38:53least I know that you need help with editing and her name is
- 38:57Trisha and she was also on the platform.
- 39:00And she said, and I know you really want to do missing people
- 39:04in unsolved crimes because I wanted to focus on people that
- 39:08didn't have a voice where it all stemmed from the very beginning
- 39:12when I started with help and, and things like that.
- 39:15And I still enjoy raising awareness on things that people
- 39:19are not familiar with. And that is the hardest thing
- 39:23because social media is about trending and far as any kind of
- 39:28success, when you say success, if you want to make financial
- 39:33gain, if you want to really stand out, it's very hard to
- 39:37push through with you. And that's that's why awareness
- 39:40work and stuff is a lot of charities is all volunteer
- 39:43because if you're in it for the money, a lot of times the
- 39:46passion is not there. So you got to have you got to
- 39:49have the passion to do this. And so she's I said, why don't
- 39:55we do this? I want to do instead of worried.
- 39:59So fact of trying to fund and help that way I can at least
- 40:04share stories of people that don't have a large like media,
- 40:10like they haven't been like where everybody's talking about
- 40:12the same person, you know? And so she said, I will help you
- 40:18edit so that you can do it. And I said, OK, we'll do one
- 40:22show a week. And I can manage that and take
- 40:27care of my mom. And so at the end of 2023 is
- 40:32when we started and I did one week over here and you know, my
- 40:40goal was of course to get partnered.
- 40:43And I, you know, I didn't know what that looked like.
- 40:45And I definitely seen that it was hard pushing missing
- 40:51persons, but I, you know, I was every Thursday night I did at
- 40:548:00, which I found that I was building.
- 40:57So some would do all right. I never had a big viral one or
- 41:01anything like that. It took me a lot longer I to
- 41:05get, I, I seem to get to the 500 subscribers in the 3000 hours
- 41:11kind of quick. And then it seemed like I took a
- 41:13dive after that. But what I noticed is when the
- 41:18Gypsy stuff came out, that is when everything changed in the
- 41:22true crime community, which is why I just made this video and
- 41:26I've gone over my head. If I explained it well enough, I
- 41:30got because what stiffed me to do it was I got excited that
- 41:33America's Most Wanted is now focusing on missing as well.
- 41:38And the only way we seem to get things trending more and getting
- 41:42out as if mainstream is doing it.
- 41:45But if anybody will do it, like I'm happy, I'm happy, anybody
- 41:49will do it. So anyway, so I started doing so
- 41:54I focused on. So that's what we did the search
- 41:57with Lisa. I named my channel that
- 42:00sometimes I kind of think should I have stayed on a different
- 42:04channel And because I still do some awareness like I did crime
- 42:09and autism. I mean, it could still go into
- 42:11true crime, but I also just started.
- 42:13So I started just doing different playlists.
- 42:15Also Dementia with my mom drama sales, which I hate, but the
- 42:20more drama creators put into the content, the more their channel
- 42:23grows. I'm one of the little channels
- 42:25that cover true crime and I try to cover all missing persons.
- 42:29Dippy See that's what and see, that's what I say.
- 42:32Follow Dippy It seems that's what we need, you know.
- 42:36And so that was kind of my, my thing was people that have
- 42:40already 100,000 subscribers, 150,000 subscribers, right?
- 42:47Because those people are who need us.
- 42:49That's who needs us, Debbie, you know, we can do ones that
- 42:53everybody's doing. But like, are we, there's so
- 42:58many. You literally, if you have a
- 43:00problem like finding a case and say, well, how do you, if you're
- 43:03like new to this? Yes, that's what I was going to
- 43:07say. I was getting ready to save the
- 43:08Charlie project. That's about Michelle Dean.
- 43:11Yes, great. Keep that up.
- 43:13Yeah. Michelle Crawford is actually
- 43:14somebody that I knew in elementary school and then I
- 43:20also went to high school with her and she went missing in 1999
- 43:26and has never been seen. And she actually went missing
- 43:30from the apartment complex that my sister was living in at the
- 43:35time, Montego Bay. And they found her, well at
- 43:39least they found her car there with her belongings in the car
- 43:46and the car unlocked. And so no one knows anything
- 43:50about what happened to her since.
- 43:52So I just sensible we were talking about.
- 43:54That I wanted. That's all the information they
- 43:58really have. It's kind of like.
- 44:00So here's the details of the disappearance.
- 44:03Crawford was last seen in Lawton, OK at 11:00 PM on June
- 44:068th, 1999. She lived with her parents in
- 44:09the 2200 block of NW Lincoln Ave. at the time.
- 44:14She told her family members that she planned to go to the movies
- 44:17with a friend that evening. She has never been heard from
- 44:19again. Crawford's parents found her
- 44:21Gray 4 door 1986 Honda Accord parked crookedly in the 1100
- 44:26block of of East Gore Blvd. between the Best Western Hotel
- 44:30and the Montego Bay Apartments on June 13th.
- 44:33Her purse and other belongings were in the back seat of the car
- 44:37and all the doors were locked except the front driver's side
- 44:40door. There was no signs of her at the
- 44:43scene. Crawford had only two close
- 44:45friends, according to her parents, and neither of them had
- 44:48plans to go with her to the movies that night of her
- 44:50disappearance. Since she went missing, her bank
- 44:54account has not been touched. Crawford was a junior at Cameron
- 44:58University in 1999. She majored in English and made
- 45:02good grades and had earned a full scholarship for the next
- 45:06semester of school. She was also employed part time
- 45:09at Gibson's Department Store in Lawton.
- 45:11Her family described her as generous, responsible, hard
- 45:14working person, and it is uncharacteristic for her to
- 45:18leave without warning. There's a theory that Crawford's
- 45:21remains are buried on privately owned land in the Mountain View,
- 45:24Oklahoma area. Foul play is suspected in her
- 45:27case, which remains unsolved. And yeah, that's a, that's a bad
- 45:32area over in that Mountain View area.
- 45:35Said it was last updated in July of 2018.
- 45:40Yeah, and I have actually done a FOIA on Michelle's case and all
- 45:46they have is updates because I guess they had a flood at the
- 45:50Lawton Police Department. Wow, that's really.
- 45:54All the. Yeah, yeah.
- 45:57So, you know, I don't know what was destroyed.
- 46:00I don't know. But when I asked for
- 46:03information, all they could supply me was a basically a
- 46:08sheet that had updates over the years.
- 46:11Wow. That's really unfortunate.
- 46:13Yeah. And I have tried to reach out to
- 46:15her dad. I have tried for years now,
- 46:19tried to reach out to him to see, you know, if I could talk
- 46:23to him, but unfortunately he has never responded.
- 46:27So when I did ask the woman from the Oklahoma Cold Case
- 46:34Foundation that we're going to be talking to, I wanted her to
- 46:39see if she had any information on Michelle.
- 46:42So that was just one, one thing that, you know, it's very
- 46:48important to me. Michelle is very important to
- 46:50me. We definitely has.
- 46:53So have you done anything like always said, you got tried to
- 46:57get the Foyas? I I mean she's definitely that
- 47:01somebody you know can definitely cover and that's exactly what I
- 47:04was getting ready to say. If people that are not familiar
- 47:08and they're like that's something I could do.
- 47:11You can do it faceless. You can go right on Charlie's
- 47:14project. Just scroll, hit one.
- 47:17I will say some barely have any information so you can do like
- 47:24like 5 in once I've seen some people do that when they pick
- 47:28like 5 cases it because some barely have any information, but
- 47:32it doesn't matter and you can just like put this out there and
- 47:36you can be faceless. Put that out there.
- 47:38Just read their information, give them at least a couple
- 47:42minutes where people can see, then move to the next case you
- 47:46know and. So this is the one true crime
- 47:54case that I have been the most passionate about.
- 47:58Oren and Orson West OR also known as Classic and sincere
- 48:02because that was their birth names, but their adoptive
- 48:05parents changed their name. That was third names, classic
- 48:08and sincere. Yeah, beautiful.
- 48:13Two beautiful. Little boys, yeah.
- 48:15And their parents are in prison for their death, but they have
- 48:18never been found. So I just always like to bring
- 48:24people's attention to them because, you know, we have no
- 48:27idea where these boys are. Theories are that they're in the
- 48:32dump, but we don't know. And why won't these parents
- 48:36just, you know what, what you know, you're in prison.
- 48:41What do you have to lose to say? I mean, I mean, unless they're
- 48:46going still on we didn't do it thing.
- 48:48You know, some will just go to their grave denying whether
- 48:52they're serving life or whatever they.
- 48:55Let's see. I don't know how.
- 48:59Let's see how long they've been or how long they've.
- 49:03So they were. Was it like a wrongful death or?
- 49:08Let's see. They got charged with.
- 49:12So we've got. Really heartbreaking.
- 49:17So they were babies. Adoptive parents sentenced for
- 49:212020 murder of still missing 4 year old boy and abuse of his
- 49:25younger brother. A California couple will likely
- 49:29spend decades in prison for murdering one of their young
- 49:32adoptive sons and seriously abusing another, though the
- 49:35second boy is also presumed dead and law enforcement insist the
- 49:40defendants are responsible for his death as well. 15 years plus
- 49:46four years, That doesn't sound like decades to me.
- 49:48That sounds like a singular decade.
- 49:50And and that's what deserves 75% of your sentence.
- 49:56And these two boys were taken away from their mother because
- 50:00their mother tested positive for well, OK, so initially they were
- 50:06taken away because one of the boys, I believe it was boring,
- 50:11but I'm not sure. One of them broke their leg, I
- 50:15believe. And they, they were taken to the
- 50:22hospital. They broke their leg while the
- 50:24mother was at work And they, the mother took them in him into the
- 50:34hospital to get it checked out. It was broken and then they took
- 50:39her, they took the kids away from her, put them in foster
- 50:43care, and then she ended up failing a drug test for
- 50:50marijuana and they ended up taking her parental whites
- 50:55rights away and basically stole her children from her.
- 51:01Oh, his arm. Yeah, probably his arm.
- 51:03I couldn't. I couldn't remember, but yeah,
- 51:06it's been a while. And so, yeah, it's.
- 51:10This is in 2020. Yeah, what?
- 51:12State was this. In this was in.
- 51:14Bakersfield because he broke his arm and the mother tested
- 51:17positive. Yeah, basically stolen from her.
- 51:22Yeah. And it was in Bakersfield, CA.
- 51:26California California weeds legal How are you going to take
- 51:30away your kids? I was like.
- 51:32Yeah, she had like a card or something too.
- 51:35I don't even know. It was it was a weird situation.
- 51:38And I actually, I actually want to.
- 51:44I don't know what that is, but yeah.
- 51:47So it was a weird situation. And they had six kids, I
- 51:55believe. And I think two of them were
- 51:58their natural kids and then the rest were adopted.
- 52:02And it seemed like they were that one of the parents, one of
- 52:10the parent adopted parents, parents the, I think Jacqueline
- 52:15W, the mother, her mother was in DCF or something like that, you
- 52:21know, and within child services and she also adopted kids.
- 52:29And so it was kind of like just a family business basically.
- 52:33Yeah, because they made money off of doing this too.
- 52:36Fostering. Oh, any broken bone?
- 52:39Bone in a kid is an automatic CPS referral in California.
- 52:43OK. So yeah.
- 52:46So yeah, he got. They got taken away and
- 52:50eventually no one saw him and people started asking questions.
- 52:55And so, yeah. Also for the automatic CPS
- 52:59referral, like I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing.
- 53:01It's probably actually a good thing that they do that.
- 53:04It's just, I mean, maybe there's some details that I'm missing
- 53:06because clearly I'm not that familiar with the case, but just
- 53:09to take someone's children away from them and just over
- 53:15marijuana, that's. Ridiculous.
- 53:17Yeah. Between the the broken arm and
- 53:20the marijuana, Yeah. So it's.
- 53:23Rooted in racism. And think about this could
- 53:26happen to my son broke his arm when he was 7, you know, and he
- 53:33what if they came out to me, you know, I mean, you just he was
- 53:38skateboarding and it was a bad break And I I've broken both of
- 53:42my arms too, But I mean, look something.
- 53:45But the reason I my my friend that helps with editing, she
- 53:51she's had a bad experience like this, not with her, but with her
- 53:55sister's kids. And they were actually, I don't
- 54:02know if I should say it's not, but basically she was put in a
- 54:05in a very awkward position from the CPS to where basically it
- 54:10was almost a blackmail situation off the records.
- 54:15And yes, I mean, so today, and this was years, I mean, she's
- 54:19grown up. And so when she, this was when
- 54:21she was a kid, nothing recent, but she now today, I mean, does
- 54:28not trust at all. I mean at all the the workers,
- 54:33just because of what she's experienced, you know?
- 54:37CPS is scary. It's extremely scary.
- 54:42I am. Not confident in the foster
- 54:45homes. They, I mean, unrelated to this
- 54:47case, but a lot of times you get a lot worse things happen in the
- 54:50foster homes and the homes that they're actually taken from.
- 54:54Y'all have never heard of the Sean Doherty case out of
- 54:57Virginia like 2 years ago? No, we haven't.
- 54:59See see how much there's out there.
- 55:03Oh the take care of Maya. Oh, that one is so heart
- 55:08wrenching. I It was such a twist on that.
- 55:11You haven't seen it. I.
- 55:12Don't. Yeah.
- 55:13And she suffered from, she suffered from chronic pain
- 55:16syndrome, didn't she? Yeah, I I suffer from that as
- 55:21well. And not to the extent what?
- 55:23A diagnose they just give you when they don't know what's
- 55:26wrong with you and they're. Trying to basically.
- 55:27Tell you what's in your heads. No, it's not.
- 55:29Yeah, well, that's lingering. Or they could not.
- 55:32What is it? Is it called malingering?
- 55:33No, no, no, no, no. I.
- 55:35Can't believe that anyone's lying about that, but I'm just
- 55:38saying that's what they normally generally.
- 55:39No, so I have tried to get the VA to actually like, figure out
- 55:45what's wrong with you. Tell me what chronic pain
- 55:48syndrome is. And I actually tried to get
- 55:52somebody from the Mayo Clinic to come on to talk about chronic
- 55:56pain syndrome, but they said that there wasn't enough
- 56:00information or enough knowledgeable information, and
- 56:04they also said that there wasn't enough interest.
- 56:08Enough interest. We have a opiate pandemic now
- 56:11fit non pandemic and there's not enough interest.
- 56:15I mean, are you kidding me? And when I was going back about
- 56:19the chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, I mean, when my
- 56:23thyroid was so out of whack, which it still is today, that
- 56:27caused a lot of muscle aches, which can go along with
- 56:32fibromyalgia, can be, you know, so many misdiagnosis.
- 56:36And so that's why I feel for anybody.
- 56:40And it's so frustrating. Like I have now lymphedema and I
- 56:44feel like, so now I have a left leg that or it's really more
- 56:48down in my ankle and foot area. But I deal now with those issues
- 56:54that I feel had they done something correctly earlier, I
- 57:00would not be dealing with this now.
- 57:02And now it's, you know, that's a whole other topic though, but.
- 57:09Well, I mean it's. Very frustrating.
- 57:13Yeah, when you have issues that no one can figure out and you've
- 57:17gone to specialists and you've gone to all the right places,
- 57:21you know, and, and the VA has a really great system of pushing
- 57:27your diagnosis off on another doctor.
- 57:29They're like, oh, well, this isn't my specialty.
- 57:32Oh. Yeah.
- 57:33And a primary care definitely will do that.
- 57:36It's like, oh, this to everybody.
- 57:37Yeah. I mean which that's kind of
- 57:40their job. I know the primary is more to do
- 57:42referrals, but especially I have found it with autoimmune
- 57:46anything, it's always this specialist, that specialist this
- 57:50and it's like and then the people with you know, then you
- 57:53deal with insurance. A lot of specialists won't take
- 57:56certain insurances. I mean, in that, you know, the
- 57:59money and it's like you have to find a support group that
- 58:05understands and gets you and so that, you know, you can help
- 58:10people in those days because there are days that you just
- 58:13think why? Why?
- 58:15If I have to live like this the rest of my life, people start to
- 58:19contemplate that, you know, and we don't want them to do that.
- 58:23And and it's hard. Yeah.
- 58:29Sorry, I was looking up somebody.
- 58:31Geologist Daniel. So he was a geologist?
- 58:35Yeah. Daniel Robinson.
- 58:37No, I was just looking something up.
- 58:40Yeah. Daniel Robinson was a geologist.
- 58:42He had one hand. She's gonna.
- 58:44Ask I was like. I was noticing it.
- 58:47I didn't know if his hand was in his pocket or so that's Oh yeah,
- 58:51he had one hand. Yes.
- 58:53And Daniel, he was out doing geology work and when when he
- 58:58went missing is that. His car that's turned over.
- 59:01Yes. And if you actually watch
- 59:05America's Most Wanted, the newest episode, they talk about
- 59:09that car and how there was an initial impact with something
- 59:14and then it was driven another 11 miles and then it was put
- 59:20into that ravine. And then somebody tried to start
- 59:23the car while it was on its side like that.
- 59:27So. And, you know, it could be
- 59:31anything from a mental break to cartel to, you know, something
- 59:37funky in the desert happening with the US government, you
- 59:40know, anything. And that happens.
- 59:44And so the next thing I was going to even bring up was one
- 59:48other thing is I wanted to touch on trafficking.
- 59:51I got interested or really compelled to help with that when
- 59:55I got involved in church. And the one thing that there was
- 1:00:00a group and I was already doing like true crime things.
- 1:00:07And we have a big. Trafficking around our area down
- 1:00:12in one of the tourist areas. I'll just say I because I live
- 1:00:15actually in North Carolina, South Carolina around Myrtle
- 1:00:18Beach area. So if you go to Myrtle Beach
- 1:00:20guys, please be careful in those areas.
- 1:00:23There is try, you know, try and now it's almost everywhere
- 1:00:27unfortunately somewhere in the cities.
- 1:00:29But anyway, the object was of course, not to get involved from
- 1:00:33the church in on the legal side of it.
- 1:00:37But once the people, if they were found the women to or you
- 1:00:41know, or children, whatever, to not treat them as as a criminal
- 1:00:48because sometimes they're locked up and they're looked at as sex,
- 1:00:52you know, sex workers, whatever. And but the object was once that
- 1:00:57was to provide them with warmth housing until we can get them
- 1:01:01back. Do you do.
- 1:01:04Oh, OK, I'm in the beach area is to get them back safe to
- 1:01:10somebody or get them on the right track.
- 1:01:13That's where the church stepped in.
- 1:01:15So that got me really. And I had no idea back then how
- 1:01:20big the trafficking was. I had always was watching the
- 1:01:26Kendall Ray because she dealt with Thorn and stuff, so she was
- 1:01:30kind of into that as well. And it just really that
- 1:01:37something just pulled at me with that.
- 1:01:39And so that that was my basic focus on here was that was what
- 1:01:43it was going to be. And then when the gypsy thing
- 1:01:46came out, then I just, you know, like I said, I did some covering
- 1:01:51with her, but I like, no, that's, that's not, I felt like
- 1:01:56I was losing myself with this and I just had to say there's no
- 1:02:02a step to Raleigh and Fayetteville.
- 1:02:03I know exactly where you're at because I lived in Fayetteville.
- 1:02:07Fort Bragg was Fayetteville. Yeah, I I didn't really
- 1:02:12understand how big trafficking was or human slavery, you know,
- 1:02:18the modern day slavery. I didn't realize it until I was
- 1:02:2130 years old and went to school again and got involved with Rafa
- 1:02:27International, which is a trafficking or a help for
- 1:02:34trafficking victims, an organization that helps victims
- 1:02:38specifically in Cambodia, Thailand and Haiti, and then
- 1:02:44they're also out of Missouri, so.
- 1:02:47Most trafficking happens with family members or people that,
- 1:02:51you know, it's mostly not these big rings that are kind of,
- 1:02:57they're not a myth, but they're, I feel like kind of over
- 1:03:00exaggerated in the media. But a lot of it, I mean, it's
- 1:03:03kind of crazy to think about how you can just drive down the
- 1:03:06street and who knows what's going on in any of the homes.
- 1:03:09OK, That's a lot more common. Yeah, I went up to Cleveland and
- 1:03:13I went down to the and this is that was well, I went to
- 1:03:18Cleveland due to to see someone, but we also wanted to start
- 1:03:22working on because there was a lot of trafficking and a lot of
- 1:03:25missing children in the Cleveland area.
- 1:03:28And so while I was there, I went down to where Gina Berry and
- 1:03:33Gina or the Jesus everybody was there at the Cleveland house
- 1:03:37with others been taken down the actual Rd. as a Muriel of Gina
- 1:03:42up there. And I went down that street and
- 1:03:46thought there was somebody stuck in a house right here for 10
- 1:03:51years. People were stuck girls.
- 1:03:54I mean it's and while I was there visiting just through that
- 1:03:57week, right in the area we were in, four children went missing,
- 1:04:024 kids went missing just while I was there and I was like, why do
- 1:04:05they keep leaving? Like what's going on?
- 1:04:09Let's see, I'm going to go yes and I'm definitely going to
- 1:04:16follow you Dippy for sure and thank you for.
- 1:04:19Joining in. Thank you, Dippy.
- 1:04:21What is it? I just said thank you, she said.
- 1:04:24She's they said they are going to be sending over Subs.
- 1:04:28Oh, that's. Great to join it in today.
- 1:04:32So actually we have a missing girl here in Missouri that I
- 1:04:36just found out about recently because I found out about a bill
- 1:04:41that is being sponsored here in Missouri.
- 1:04:44It's Senate Bill 41. And let me actually read it for
- 1:04:50you. Let me pull it up.
- 1:04:53I should have had it up here but.
- 1:04:54Is our state government actually doing something productive, for
- 1:04:57one? Yeah, they've actually created a
- 1:04:58task force and everything. Cool.
- 1:05:02That's like, there's not many things I can give them the
- 1:05:05benefit of the doubt on. So what do you think?
- 1:05:08We're doing something good. Dear, what the heck is so funny?
- 1:05:16I was. Like what?
- 1:05:19I heard you say what the heck? And I'm like.
- 1:05:22There we go. Hi, welcome in, dear.
- 1:05:25What the heck? Yes, nice to meet you or
- 1:05:28actually see you. Getting away with nothing with
- 1:05:30dear. What the heck, I will tell you.
- 1:05:32Right. I love it I.
- 1:05:37Will. OK, let's see.
- 1:05:43You know what? Actually, so it what it is, it's
- 1:05:49Senate Bill 41 in Missouri and it tries to it tries to, you
- 1:05:57know, the missing and indigenous women bill that they've been
- 1:06:02trying to do, they're doing one for African American girl women
- 1:06:06and girls, yeah, missing here in Missouri.
- 1:06:09And they've created a task force so that.
- 1:06:13Really surprises me, but. That is huge because that is, I
- 1:06:18mean, that is huge because that's something I mentioned in
- 1:06:20the last video I just did because there that is definitely
- 1:06:27the indigenous women. That's a really big thing and
- 1:06:33and, and the black women as well, you know, really any POC
- 1:06:39is not out there like they need to be.
- 1:06:42And so that's great to hear. Any cases involving minorities
- 1:06:47are often times overlooked and looked at as nothing really.
- 1:06:53So it's. Right.
- 1:06:54We're trying to hear that. We're going to watch this video
- 1:06:57and see what it says. You tried to be perfect.
- 1:07:01You really? Yeah.
- 1:07:04We're not giving them free ads from our channel.
- 1:07:09I don't even want to know who it is.
- 1:07:11I don't even know Morel behavior health OK.
- 1:07:14Yeah, I definitely want to. Urge to contact Columbia Police
- 1:07:21A Columbia family is pleading for your help nearly four months
- 1:07:25after their teenage daughter disappeared. 15 year old Desiree
- 1:07:29Smith has been missing since December.
- 1:07:31She's 5 foot 7, about 160 lbs and has black hair and brown
- 1:07:36eyes. Our ABC 17's Mitchell Kaminsky
- 1:07:39joins us live after speaking with Desiree's grandmother,
- 1:07:42Mitchell. This case highlights a larger
- 1:07:44statewide and national issue where Black Americans are being
- 1:07:48reported missing at disproportionately higher rates.
- 1:07:55Megan According to F national FBI data, Black Americans make
- 1:07:58up about 14% of the US population, but 37% of all
- 1:08:03reported missing people's cases. Younger women in particular are
- 1:08:07at much higher risk of being reported as missing.
- 1:08:11And because of the state, lawmakers created a new task
- 1:08:14force to help address this problem.
- 1:08:18Desiree Smith was last seen in Columbia on December 7th.
- 1:08:21Her family is now begging for help to track down the teenager
- 1:08:24after nearly four months without contact.
- 1:08:27Her grandmother, Crystal Watson, says growing up in Columbia's
- 1:08:30Rice Rd. neighborhood, an area with a history of violence, may
- 1:08:33have had an impact on her. She's a happy girl, you know,
- 1:08:37she is really intelligent, you know, she all got all the good
- 1:08:43qualities. It's just I feel like her living
- 1:08:46in this area also influence her different ways.
- 1:08:51Smith's family says they're not just worried, they're frustrated
- 1:08:54by what they see as a lack of urgency and media attention.
- 1:08:57I feel like, you know, maybe if she was white, you know, it
- 1:09:01would have been out there. She is on the child missing
- 1:09:05list. You know, if you look it up in
- 1:09:07Columbia, she is on there, but it's just not enough attention
- 1:09:11to it. Out of 658 adults currently
- 1:09:13listed as missing by the State Highway Patrol, 199 are black,
- 1:09:17making up just over 30% of all cases, even though African
- 1:09:21Americans make up just 11% of the Show Me States population.
- 1:09:25That's wild. Among the 250 missing women, 79
- 1:09:28are Black, about 31%. To address the crisis, Missouri
- 1:09:32lawmakers passed Senate Bill 41, sponsored by Senator Angela
- 1:09:35Mosley, creating the Missing and Murdered African American Women
- 1:09:39and Girls Task Force. The task force will take a
- 1:09:42really hard look at why African American women and girls are an
- 1:09:46endangered species, how our systems are falling short and
- 1:09:51what we can do to change that. The task force is modeled after
- 1:09:55a similar bill in Minnesota, and we'll study how police and media
- 1:09:58respond to missing person cases and recommend ways to better
- 1:10:01protect vulnerable communities. Of course, you run into those
- 1:10:04who asked that question of why focus on African American women
- 1:10:09and girls. There are some colleagues that
- 1:10:11have backgrounds in law enforcement and they did see the
- 1:10:15urgency of it and tried to help me speak with other colleagues
- 1:10:19to let them know that this is. Important.
- 1:10:22Columbia police records show since 1998, sixteen black women
- 1:10:26have been killed in homicides, with half those deaths happening
- 1:10:29in the last decade. Mosley tells me that that task
- 1:10:35force is going to be made-up of about 10 people, will be
- 1:10:37appointed by State House and Senate leaders as well as the
- 1:10:40Department of Public Safety. Reporting live in Columbia.
- 1:10:43Mitch Kaminski, ABC 17 News. Mitchell, thank you.
- 1:10:47If you have any information about Desiree Smith's
- 1:10:49whereabouts, you are urged to contact Columbia police after
- 1:10:54their teenage daughter disappeared.
- 1:10:56Well, I'd like to say rare Missouri W, especially on the
- 1:11:00front for women, I'd like to hope that this is something that
- 1:11:05doesn't have any kind of ulterior motive.
- 1:11:07And that's something that they actually take seriously because
- 1:11:10it is something that deserves to be taken seriously.
- 1:11:12And I know a lot of times they do things for show and I'm just
- 1:11:15really hoping that's not what it is, especially since Missouri
- 1:11:18government is actively working on taking away rights for women
- 1:11:22that we voted for. So I'm just really, really
- 1:11:25hoping that this leads to people coming home and being safe and
- 1:11:31bound and justice being brought to victims of a lot of really
- 1:11:35terrible crimes. Yeah.
- 1:11:38And I actually reached out, Yeah, I reached out to Senator
- 1:11:42Mosley. And so hopefully she will come
- 1:11:45on and talk to us. I'd like.
- 1:11:48To. Yeah, I'd like to get Senator or
- 1:11:52Representative Kimberly Collins on as well.
- 1:11:55They're both from Saint Louis and they both are doing great
- 1:11:59things in our government. And so I would really love for
- 1:12:02them to succeed in everything that they're doing because they
- 1:12:07genuinely care about our our state.
- 1:12:09I've. Never heard of where she was at
- 1:12:12in Columbia it's I had. Neither Rice Rd.
- 1:12:15But there's been a lot of issues in Columbia recently.
- 1:12:18There's been like several shootings.
- 1:12:20I want to say there's been like at least 5 within the last
- 1:12:22couple months, like, and it's been crazy.
- 1:12:25It's been crazy over there. So, yeah, so basically, you
- 1:12:30know, there's, there's so many, there's so many missing people
- 1:12:34and. So many.
- 1:12:36And there are so many YouTube channels and TikTok channel
- 1:12:41pages pages I. Guess.
- 1:12:46You know, and there's plenty of people to highlight.
- 1:12:52And, and I want to say this about the Gypsy.
- 1:12:56I there are Gypsy, you know, channels, that's all that they,
- 1:13:01they do. And I feel what's happened is
- 1:13:05that has crossed over true crime.
- 1:13:08So what's happened is they did gyp T and started using it.
- 1:13:13You know, hashtags algorithm is everything.
- 1:13:16And because they don't know if you have the computer system
- 1:13:19does not know if you have a good video or not.
- 1:13:21They just know what the algorithm is.
- 1:13:23I mean, they just know the action the video is getting what
- 1:13:27the hashtags are what's and OK, we are over saturated with the
- 1:13:34gyp T OK, we really are. And so when I made my video, you
- 1:13:39know, it was mainly towards the true crime.
- 1:13:43If you were a gyp T channel really did not that was it
- 1:13:49really for you because you're bastion just about gypsy and
- 1:13:52that's it. But if you were somebody that
- 1:13:54came here for true crime, you know there's nothing wrong.
- 1:13:59I've covered some things with her, but unfortunately the newer
- 1:14:04generation that now that the turnover of, oh God, I don't
- 1:14:08#gypsy, right. Exactly.
- 1:14:15The turnover, the pre Gypsy, we had a lot more.
- 1:14:20I felt variety in passion, in true crime and unfortunately
- 1:14:26what I'm seeing and everywhere, and I did show my video
- 1:14:31everywhere, Gypsy this, gypsy that.
- 1:14:34And I just always think, you know, what if we had this much
- 1:14:39focus on unsolved missing cases, trafficking, whatever, could you
- 1:14:47imagine what we could accomplish?
- 1:14:49You know, and, and I'm not saying that, you know, there's
- 1:14:52people that are very big about this, but I'm going to, I'm
- 1:14:55going to be honest, we are now a year and a half of her being
- 1:14:58out. She's almost off parole, OK.
- 1:15:01And I, and I honestly feel there is a lot it's for clicks and
- 1:15:05views and whatever, whatever their their story is.
- 1:15:09And there's some that are very passionate and have been on this
- 1:15:12from day one. You know, there's some that put
- 1:15:15a lot of work into one thing and and I get that.
- 1:15:18And so that's their their thing and there's nothing wrong with
- 1:15:21that at all. But it's almost like I was
- 1:15:25speaking. If you're just using the true
- 1:15:27crime community to get to and using gypsy to get, you know,
- 1:15:31you're hurting us, you're hurting the true crime community
- 1:15:35by just being here doing that. And because if one thing I've
- 1:15:40noticed and looked around when I was researching was large,
- 1:15:44larger ones that have 100,500 thousand you, they don't cover
- 1:15:48Gypsy. They don't because they have
- 1:15:51built a community of their own. So whatever really they push
- 1:15:55out, they can push it out because they have that.
- 1:15:58And that's great because they've worked hard to get that.
- 1:16:01And so I encourage them, you know, hey, just put out a
- 1:16:05missing person every once in a while.
- 1:16:07You have traction. You know, I don't want to take
- 1:16:10away whatever their passion is, but if they're in true crime,
- 1:16:13and I'm sure that they do, but I heard from Derek Lavasser, who
- 1:16:21is on the America's Most Wanted before he even started this.
- 1:16:25People were asking him because he did breaking homicide with
- 1:16:28A&E. And, and I think I said this to
- 1:16:31you yesterday that it always stuck with me when I heard him
- 1:16:35say this, that somebody asked him was, was he going to do I
- 1:16:39think a third season of breaking homicide?
- 1:16:41And that is when he said that the marketing teams and people
- 1:16:47from A&E basically, and probably other channels, but that Missing
- 1:16:54and Unsolved are may are the least likely to watch because
- 1:17:02just for whatever people like to see the endings people, whatever
- 1:17:06it is, there's not a lot of drama to it.
- 1:17:09It's sometimes just sad. There's just different reasons
- 1:17:12into it. So I think that was why they
- 1:17:15kind of didn't renew and he was going different avenues.
- 1:17:18So when he was asked to be involved with America's Most
- 1:17:20Wanted. And now they're doing Missing as
- 1:17:23well, not just catch a fugitive. He was very excited about that.
- 1:17:29And he said, I have been complaining and saying, you
- 1:17:32know, and basically they're doing what we're not doing.
- 1:17:36We're not, you know, we stopped doing on social media.
- 1:17:39And so I'm hoping with America's Most Wanted doing more missing,
- 1:17:44you know, but once again, don't just grab the ones that they're
- 1:17:48doing on missing. Like let them do that.
- 1:17:51Push it out if you want, but then like grab one of your own
- 1:17:55and if you ever need help finding something like you just
- 1:17:57showed with Charlie Project, go through, just grab one.
- 1:18:02I mean, there's tons to grab from.
- 1:18:04It's really, it's really not hard at all, you know, to find
- 1:18:08something like that or focus like on your state or whatever.
- 1:18:12Maybe you slump around you. Yeah, I mean.
- 1:18:17I love that you have all these ready here.
- 1:18:20So prepared. I didn't know if I was just, I
- 1:18:23didn't know what it was exactly going to be today.
- 1:18:25So I'm so confided that you have all this because.
- 1:18:28Yeah. And this is Summer Wells.
- 1:18:31She's been missing for quite a long time.
- 1:18:33I think about 2021 or something like that, Yeah.
- 1:18:39Also, I don't know, I don't really want to shame any
- 1:18:42creators or anything for like the way that they choose to
- 1:18:44cover things because some things I just don't agree with and true
- 1:18:47crime generally speaking. I feel like a lot of it can just
- 1:18:49be kind of icky and self-serving and I don't know, Sometimes I
- 1:18:53have a problem covering certain things, then other times I feel
- 1:18:56like it's necessary, and sometimes I've even gotten
- 1:18:58caught up in the drama aspects of certain things.
- 1:19:04You. Know it's yeah, it could be a
- 1:19:07natural human reaction. I guess we just have to kind of
- 1:19:09try and correct ourselves if we see ourselves doing certain
- 1:19:11things. But, you know, there are some
- 1:19:14cases that I find interesting or that I follow, but I'm realizing
- 1:19:17I need to step back and not like really try to cover anything
- 1:19:19unless I feel like I have like, and if I have something to add
- 1:19:24to it. Because I mean, there's so many
- 1:19:26other people that are saying so many things, unless I have
- 1:19:29something specific or new or not that it has to be breaking news
- 1:19:32or anything that, you know, is groundbreaking.
- 1:19:35I just, you know, that's what I've been thinking lately.
- 1:19:38But I agree with you, Laura. I.
- 1:19:41Just kind of, I just kind of vibe out if you can't.
- 1:19:43I agree with you. This is the thing, even with
- 1:19:46summer Wales, which is a great example, you have some that are
- 1:19:50so passionate and are doing it and then honestly, you just have
- 1:19:55people that do things that trend and it's a it's a money grab.
- 1:19:58Yeah. And it's like, it's such like,
- 1:20:00OK, well, technically you getting it out, if you can get
- 1:20:03it out, think that's a positive because people are seeing it.
- 1:20:08But the same. I don't know it, it you're
- 1:20:10right. It's such a fine line of, you
- 1:20:13know, we can't go through every single person is like, do you
- 1:20:16really care? You doing this just for money?
- 1:20:18You know, I mean so it it it can be and.
- 1:20:24There's Asia degree. I did Asia, I've done 2 on her
- 1:20:29right now my thing because she's from here in Shelby, NC, so
- 1:20:33she's like. No, because.
- 1:20:35It happened on Valentine's Day. Yeah, Asia's story is so
- 1:20:40heartbreaking because she went missing.
- 1:20:43She left her house in the middle of the night to meet somebody or
- 1:20:47something. And here recently there's been
- 1:20:51some updates. Many people have covered that,
- 1:20:55so just look up. One of I don't know if there's
- 1:21:00one last one was when they were starting to put together who,
- 1:21:07who was, I can't think of their names right now, but they they
- 1:21:10were starting to kind of figure out and I believe 1 is already
- 1:21:15deceased, kind of like who now it was involved.
- 1:21:19So that was kind of the last update that I've looked.
- 1:21:23She was one of my first. I did on you now too.
- 1:21:26And then I did. I did it again here twice.
- 1:21:30Lena OR. Lena, the Asia degree.
- 1:21:34OK, yeah, Lena went missing from a a park in her apartment
- 1:21:41complex. Her mother went to go do
- 1:21:43something and she was actually a refugee from Afghanistan and so
- 1:21:51she went missing. Oh, and it makes you so sad
- 1:21:53because I know right now of all times, that's not going to be
- 1:21:55taken as seriously as it needs. To be, yeah.
- 1:21:58Right. Wow.
- 1:22:04This is the FBI. Any of these faces?
- 1:22:07Yeah, this is the FBI missing persons list.
- 1:22:13Wow. Look at that.
- 1:22:16I mean you look and see there is no discrimination on age looks.
- 1:22:23I mean, there's no look. We have one here, Ella Mae
- 1:22:26Begay, look at her age, compare. We have children.
- 1:22:30It's all ranges. Nobody is off limits.
- 1:22:36Yeah. And there can be varying reasons
- 1:22:38why. Oh, I did the Kyron horman.
- 1:22:41Oh yeah, and he went missing from his elementary school,
- 1:22:44correct? Yes, he, his mother took him to
- 1:22:52because it was a different type of day, because he had a science
- 1:22:55project. And so when he was done with
- 1:22:59that, she took him into the science project and then.
- 1:23:04The science fair, Yeah. Or the science fair?
- 1:23:06What? I say science, right?
- 1:23:06Yeah. The science fair, Yeah.
- 1:23:09And very, very SUS. Amy Lynn Bradley, I believe I've
- 1:23:15talked about too. I recognize face.
- 1:23:18Is that the one that was on the cruise ship?
- 1:23:20Yeah, Tara Calico. She's the one that it must.
- 1:23:24Be gone for a while. She has been, and I think she
- 1:23:28was the one where there was a Polaroid found in a parking lot
- 1:23:33of a girl and a boy tied up and, and they thought that it was
- 1:23:39her, but they never had any, you know, proof or anything like
- 1:23:46that. Wow.
- 1:23:50So yeah, there's, I mean, tons. What about this Maria Lopez?
- 1:23:55I am always curious when I see older ones how?
- 1:23:58Like how did this happen? Oh, there's a gun.
- 1:24:08OK, Oh, let's see what it says. It'll work for me.
- 1:24:16OK, so. So she's born at 59 one 1000.
- 1:24:28I think really has any information.
- 1:24:30She was kidnapped from her residence in Pueblo Nuevo,
- 1:24:35Mexico. So it happened to Mexico 3, OK.
- 1:24:41At the field office is out of LA though.
- 1:24:46That's so sad. I know my son's down in Cancun
- 1:24:50right now with his girlfriend and I'm like, do not leave each
- 1:24:55other's side please. Like I really, I'm like, why are
- 1:25:00you going out of the country, son?
- 1:25:02I like to be independent and go do anything and go and do things
- 1:25:06on my own, but it's like so scary.
- 1:25:11Hey Amy, Bear woman radios in here.
- 1:25:15Hey, Amy, good to see you. Thanks for joining us.
- 1:25:20So this is. Some of the missing persons on
- 1:25:23the FBI case and was that just the end of the first page or was
- 1:25:26at the? End of No that.
- 1:25:27Was. No, it was just 120 people.
- 1:25:30That's. The only those are not the only
- 1:25:33people that are missing. One out of 120 results.
- 1:25:37Yeah, it has to. Be Are those just the ones they
- 1:25:38deem? This is just the FBI.
- 1:25:42This is the FBI missing persons list.
- 1:25:44So. Yeah, yeah, the Charlie project
- 1:25:47is humongous. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:25:51So those are just a few of the missing people that.
- 1:25:56Do you know that look Sebastian Rogers they have up there now?
- 1:26:02Do we know what gets someone from Charlie Project to FBI?
- 1:26:08No, I have no idea. That's, you know, what I've
- 1:26:11never really questioned like, I guess just more media, more I, I
- 1:26:16don't know, I, I, yeah, I wonder, I wonder what gets them
- 1:26:22to the FBI list. That's something I'll have to
- 1:26:25research or look up. Hold on, I'm trying right now.
- 1:26:33I remember hearing about the Sebastian Rogers and I just did
- 1:26:38a overview of the Natalia situation.
- 1:26:50I have a hard time with. That's a hard case there.
- 1:26:53So I, I just kind of did an overview.
- 1:26:55I haven't released it yet, but it intrigued me through, you
- 1:27:00know, again, with adoptions and Buster and all that.
- 1:27:04That is why, I mean, I know that one's been kind of trending, but
- 1:27:07I actually, I have not read a whole lot into it.
- 1:27:11So I kind of went in it with my own thoughts, to be honest with
- 1:27:16you. And yeah.
- 1:27:19Yeah, at first I thought that she was an adult, and then I was
- 1:27:23like, no, she's not an adult. Yeah.
- 1:27:27OK, so it says the Charlie project serves as a publicity
- 1:27:31vehicle and clearing House of information for missing persons.
- 1:27:35It attempts to catalog as much information as possible about as
- 1:27:39many cases as possible. It doesn't answer the question.
- 1:27:42I know, but I was just reading about what the Charlie Project
- 1:27:45does, and then I was going to read about the FBI.
- 1:27:48So yeah. So let's see what the FBI
- 1:27:51missing persons list you. Can just click tab.
- 1:27:58Never mind, just keep going. You're good.
- 1:28:02Nope. Nope, you're too late.
- 1:28:03Oh, OK, Nope, you're fine. OK, it's just telling you how to
- 1:28:10here. Just keep talking.
- 1:28:11I'll I'll do my own. OK, Laura's going to Google it.
- 1:28:15OK, So yeah, I don't know what the qualifications are, but it
- 1:28:20looks like maybe the Charlie Project is just where they
- 1:28:26showcase all of the missing cases and the FBI is just the
- 1:28:32most hope high profile. OK.
- 1:28:35I would assume. And so I don't know if people
- 1:28:41know that know this, that are in here or in general.
- 1:28:45As I started doing these cases, you know, I learned a lot about
- 1:28:49like the laws. And so when I started covering
- 1:28:52like some of the ingenious and doing some of the tribes, you
- 1:28:57know, when they would go missing, they the laws, which
- 1:29:03this is where it's very tricky because from what I understand.
- 1:29:07So they have like their own like their chief and their rules.
- 1:29:11And I believe that the police only have so much jurisdiction.
- 1:29:17So it's kind of like it skips the police until if it's major
- 1:29:21FBI can go in. So it's kind of like it has to
- 1:29:26really grab traction. Yeah.
- 1:29:29That's involved because you have to almost skip over and that's
- 1:29:33almost impossible, you know, to go from from the chief to FBI.
- 1:29:40And so, but by the because by the time you do that, if you're
- 1:29:43able to look how much time has probably gone by, you know, the
- 1:29:48first 48 of course they always say is so important and you're
- 1:29:51not going to get that quick to the FBI so.
- 1:29:56That is really. Tough.
- 1:29:57OK, so I figured out what the difference, or allegedly what
- 1:30:00seems the difference between the Charlie Project and the FBI
- 1:30:02missing persons list is. So the Charlie Project is a
- 1:30:06privately run website that profiles long term missing
- 1:30:09persons cases from the United States.
- 1:30:11It focuses on cold cases and often those missing for years
- 1:30:15and or decades, and it provides A detailed narrative and
- 1:30:18descriptions of the circumstances around each
- 1:30:20disappearance. While the FBI missing persons
- 1:30:23list is an official government database primarily for active
- 1:30:26missing persons cases and especially those that are
- 1:30:29federally relevant. An example involving children
- 1:30:32abductions or crossing state lines, listings tend to be brief
- 1:30:36and are used for law enforcement and public awareness.
- 1:30:39So everything's just basically saying that a lot of it.
- 1:30:43There's very little information on the FBI watch list or not
- 1:30:46watch list, the FBI missing persons list, it's just for
- 1:30:49general information. It's stuff that people are
- 1:30:51actively investigating and paying attention to and they
- 1:30:53have a case and I'm assuming a lot of it might be stuff that
- 1:30:57could be federally federal in some way.
- 1:31:01Well, yeah, yeah, it has to be. Yeah, so that's what it seems
- 1:31:06the difference is. And again, these are just people
- 1:31:08that are confirmed missing, not the probably thousands, if not
- 1:31:15hundreds of thousands who knows, people that are just gone into
- 1:31:19the wind, not reported or not cared about or not investigated.
- 1:31:23And it's just, it's crazy. It's crazy, crazy stuff.
- 1:31:26I agree. I agree.
- 1:31:29Yeah, I covered up woman. I went and and this is this is
- 1:31:32the part that I am I'm going to look up because I don't want to,
- 1:31:37you know, you do do so many and sometimes, I mean, I'm honest,
- 1:31:40I, I, I do like OK, what was the full name again?
- 1:31:44Or in fact, I just put a short out about this one here.
- 1:31:51Let me just turn down the sound. You know the thing with all
- 1:31:57these missing persons cases, especially when you're covering
- 1:32:00like specific details, you're actually going into what
- 1:32:03happened. It's like you never want to be
- 1:32:05accusatory towards like a family member or anything like that and
- 1:32:09ruin their lives. But at the same time, I really
- 1:32:12struggled to, for lack of better words, put up with the bullshit.
- 1:32:18Yeah. So, you know, you on one hand,
- 1:32:20you can't ignore stuff, but you also don't want to be accusatory
- 1:32:22because there's so many people that's lives have been ruined by
- 1:32:25completely false defamation of their character over something
- 1:32:29that they're struggling with so hard.
- 1:32:30And it's just, that's a really hard part for me about missing
- 1:32:32persons cases. And it's like you also like the
- 1:32:35people you know, building up the families or donating to them or
- 1:32:40doing certain things because some people seem like they
- 1:32:42definitely have some ulterior motives.
- 1:32:45Yeah, we've had, yeah. Which is why I have.
- 1:32:48Seen that as well. Even around here I've seen that
- 1:32:51happen. We definitely.
- 1:32:52And I totally agree with you on that, you know.
- 1:32:55We definitely need to be careful probably in the future of who we
- 1:33:00invite to specifically talk on our channel or what we say to
- 1:33:03them at least, or what we 'cause I mean, I feel like every
- 1:33:07missing child needs to have a platform regardless of who or
- 1:33:10what their parents could potentially be.
- 1:33:13Because even if they're not returned to their parents, just
- 1:33:16to know that they're safe and alive and well.
- 1:33:18And, you know, I feel like that's important.
- 1:33:21Yeah. And Lisa, we've covered, well
- 1:33:24we've covered officially 1 missing persons case, like
- 1:33:28active missing persons case, that was the Aubrey Wu case.
- 1:33:33And then we were also asked to cover another one, the Olivia
- 1:33:37Hansen case. Both of these these girls have
- 1:33:40now been returned. They found her.
- 1:33:44They found her. Yes, they did find her.
- 1:33:47See, that is oh, and and you know what I the closest that
- 1:33:54I've come. I love to hear that you've done
- 1:33:56that and that you know, and to me that there is no amount of
- 1:34:01money clicks, views and to me, that is what I'm going.
- 1:34:05I'm searching for like if one person hears and and that the
- 1:34:09end like when I was talking about my growth on the other, it
- 1:34:13was just to show my growth. I don't care about numbers.
- 1:34:16I if I can reach 5 people, then I do.
- 1:34:19And of course if you do build you get out some more.
- 1:34:22That's only common. But if you don't and you're
- 1:34:25passionate about it, please continue to do it.
- 1:34:27Doors and other areas will open and the satisfaction in the the
- 1:34:32the fulfillment in your heart, like when you get something
- 1:34:37found the part that you played a part in that to me is like,
- 1:34:41thank God, I I that I did that. Maybe maybe what you did
- 1:34:47somebody seen. I mean, you know, it only takes
- 1:34:49one person to see and I've had on the OK.
- 1:34:56Have you you guys have heard of the Sonny Shremick case?
- 1:35:01OK. So a few have covered her and I
- 1:35:04covered and I actually had somebody from her family comment
- 1:35:08on the way that I represented her and we believe that it she
- 1:35:12actually, well, we know without knowing that more than likely it
- 1:35:17was it was involving trafficking is how she went missing.
- 1:35:22And so but her family had wrote me on and so on my comments of
- 1:35:29they really expressed how I talked about her and and to me
- 1:35:34that was so. So I've had like three of those
- 1:35:37and I'm going to tell you it hits you different when you do
- 1:35:41something totally out of the blue.
- 1:35:44And then somebody that is on the related to that case, like a
- 1:35:49mother or child or whatever, and they reach out to you and they
- 1:35:53just thank you that that feeling is just a whole new because then
- 1:36:00it really invests you because it's like now it's, it even
- 1:36:03makes it more real. And it's just to me, it's just
- 1:36:07very fulfilling to know that you're just doing something to
- 1:36:11help somebody. And I, I love that.
- 1:36:14But I was going to tell you this is what like gets me when we
- 1:36:18don't get the missing persons pushed out.
- 1:36:21There was a Angela Anderson was a mother from New Jersey and she
- 1:36:25had gone missing purchasing one way ticket to reunite with her
- 1:36:30daughter Angela. Angela, who was she struggled
- 1:36:34with mental illness and was allowed by a caseworker to board
- 1:36:38a train. Now the daughter, just to sum it
- 1:36:41up really quick, the daughter had said because the mom had
- 1:36:45kind of had a little breakdown and she wasn't diagnosed with
- 1:36:48schizophrenic, but it kind of looked like it was heading
- 1:36:51there. She had been out a little bit,
- 1:36:53had a social worker. Long story short, she was back
- 1:36:56at her apartment, but she did have workers, all right.
- 1:36:59She wanted to come see her daughter.
- 1:37:01And the daughter was like, no, do not have her get on that
- 1:37:04train by herself. She is not mentally well to do
- 1:37:08that. Well, the social worker had
- 1:37:11said, well, your mom has got on the train.
- 1:37:14Well, I started feeling like that was suspect, like you said,
- 1:37:17like sometimes you just got to call it, you know, like I have
- 1:37:21to say, this is my feeling, but I feel like something had
- 1:37:26happened and they had to because they went out of their way to
- 1:37:29contact them. And we're like, well, she, you
- 1:37:31know, she was cleared to come see you.
- 1:37:33And I don't know, it's all it's a very.
- 1:37:35But anyway, I happened to catch that story like within days of
- 1:37:40it happening. So I put it out right away.
- 1:37:43It was not trending nobody. But I did something I came
- 1:37:47across and I seen it and I thought let's get this out
- 1:37:51because it's really quick in within like 3 or 4 days.
- 1:37:55Like let's get it out there and maybe somebody knows something
- 1:37:59and can find her. However you find her but can
- 1:38:02find her. And that video I think got 120
- 1:38:07views and I thought, you know what, why?
- 1:38:11You know, I'm glad 120 that's 120 more that didn't know.
- 1:38:16But I just thought this one especially because it just
- 1:38:20happened. Why couldn't this one have
- 1:38:22jumped out and went viral or like somebody because it wasn't
- 1:38:26covered in the media. It wasn't, you know, and it just
- 1:38:30I get so upset like, you know, and I wasn't monetized had
- 1:38:34nothing to do with money or anything.
- 1:38:35It was just like, this is we're so close to her or let's let's
- 1:38:40get it out here. You know, we can catch these
- 1:38:43missing right off that aren't on the media.
- 1:38:45A lot of times you don't hear about it till it's in the media.
- 1:38:48So yeah, that was the case that really got me.
- 1:38:52The Yeah, I, as Laura was saying earlier, you have to be careful
- 1:39:01with active cases because when you're dealing with the parents
- 1:39:05and all of that, you don't want to go too hard on them.
- 1:39:09But at the same time you want to learn the truth.
- 1:39:12And we, with the Aubrey Wu case, you know, we actually had the
- 1:39:17parents on. We interviewed them and
- 1:39:19everything. And yeah, but it became.
- 1:39:24It's a developing case and I'm interested to see what happened.
- 1:39:27It became, yeah, it became a real cluster when Reddit got a
- 1:39:34hold of that case. If you go to Reddit, there's a
- 1:39:37lot of stuff on there that's just stuff.
- 1:39:40Seems to have a point. I mean, I'm sure like obviously
- 1:39:44there's people that always make memes and directly insult
- 1:39:47people, which we're not, you know, supporting.
- 1:39:49But a lot of stuff that if I wouldn't have looked on Reddit
- 1:39:52and I would have just take people at their word, I wouldn't
- 1:39:55have found out. Yeah, so this is these are the
- 1:40:00Skelton brothers. They've been missing for quite a
- 1:40:02long time. Andrew Alexander and Tanner
- 1:40:06Skeleton have been missing from Morenci, MI for nearly 14 years.
- 1:40:11Their mother is now calling on the state to legally declare the
- 1:40:14boys dead. Tanya Zuvers about. 15 years.
- 1:40:19Now, yeah, in December 2023, to officially name her sons, who
- 1:40:23were 9-7 and five respectively when last seen dead.
- 1:40:28Pretrial hearing was held last week.
- 1:40:31Last seen, dead last seen and they're.
- 1:40:33I've been missing since 2010, so 15 years.
- 1:40:38Yeah, so they were at their dad's house for Thanksgiving in
- 1:40:432010. They were spending Thanksgiving
- 1:40:47break with their dad, and he took off without.
- 1:40:52He took off with them. And he's actually, I think, in
- 1:40:56jail right now, or prison, and he still won't tell anybody what
- 1:41:01happened to the boys, so. Three of all three of them.
- 1:41:05Look at them. So this decision came after much
- 1:41:08thought and discussion with family and friends.
- 1:41:10It did not come lightly and was definitely a difficult decision
- 1:41:14to make. No parent wants to lose a child,
- 1:41:17but to have but to have to have the court step in and declare
- 1:41:22them deceased is just unfathomable.
- 1:41:26So those were the boys. Look, Adam.
- 1:41:34There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and
- 1:41:37your brother, she posted. Today is supposed to be the day
- 1:41:40of celebrating you and I hope and pray that wherever you are,
- 1:41:44you are with your brothers and celebrating you together.
- 1:41:47Today. The boys were in the care of
- 1:41:50their father, Joe Skelton. OK, so in two in 2010
- 1:41:55Thanksgiving and she said that he had stole custody of her sons
- 1:42:03but she allowed her estranged husband to have children the the
- 1:42:06children for the holiday and they had split.
- 1:42:09In September of 2010, police learned through interviews that
- 1:42:15John had travelled 25 miles away to Holiday City, OH, around the
- 1:42:20same time that his sons were last seen alive.
- 1:42:24Cell phone records suggest the trip was between 4:29 AM and
- 1:42:296:46 AM on Friday after Thanksgiving.
- 1:42:33John, who was a long haul truck driver, had the police told had
- 1:42:37told police he handed off his children to a woman named Joanne
- 1:42:41Taylor. He said he did not know her, but
- 1:42:43when Taylor had car trouble on the side of the road, he did not
- 1:42:48know her but met Taylor when he had.
- 1:42:51When Taylor had car trouble on the side of the road, he also
- 1:42:55claimed that they were given to an underground sanctuary to
- 1:42:58protect them from their mother. Officials didn't believe him and
- 1:43:01charged him with child abandonment.
- 1:43:04A month before the brothers disappeared, John filed for
- 1:43:07custody, accusing the mom of being a registered sex offender.
- 1:43:12And actually, she had been, she had been, she pled guilty
- 1:43:16previously to 4th degree criminal sexual conduct for
- 1:43:20having sex with a 14 year old boy in 1998.
- 1:43:24And I think he was one of her students or something like that.
- 1:43:27Oh gosh. Yeah.
- 1:43:30But she's repeatedly denied abusing her own sons.
- 1:43:35So in 2000, yeah. So in 2018, John told local news
- 1:43:41stations that he gave the boys to two women and a man who
- 1:43:44planned to take them to a farm in Ohio.
- 1:43:47He still has not identified the said organization.
- 1:43:51Court documents allege that John searched online about how to
- 1:43:54break a neck a week prior to his son's vanishing.
- 1:43:59John pled no contest to three counts of unlawful imprisonment.
- 1:44:02Imprisonment in September of 2011 and he was sentenced to 10
- 1:44:07to 15 years in prison and is scheduled for release November
- 1:44:10of 2025. That's gross.
- 1:44:15Yeah, so he's scheduled for release. 2025 this November 2.
- 1:44:19Pieces of shit found each other. Well, you know.
- 1:44:24Susan. Smith, you know, she didn't make
- 1:44:26her parole. Yeah, but no matter what, she
- 1:44:29will be out in 10 because she got 40 years, you know.
- 1:44:36So with with parole, like life with parole or life with, you
- 1:44:40know. Kids off.
- 1:44:41So her 40 years, she's done 30, her 40.
- 1:44:45Years drove him into a lake or a pond.
- 1:44:52Yeah, that was here in South Carolina and.
- 1:44:53When she when did you say she's getting off?
- 1:44:56So she was actually up for parole a couple months ago.
- 1:45:01And of course, she did not get it.
- 1:45:03And, but no matter what, I mean, she's due, she'll get out at 40
- 1:45:08years. So that will be in 10 years,
- 1:45:11nine years. And I mean, she looks pretty
- 1:45:15healthy. And, I mean, you never know.
- 1:45:17But, you know, and that's sad. She says she will get out no
- 1:45:23matter what they didn't give her.
- 1:45:25I'm surprised she didn't get life without parole.
- 1:45:29Yeah, it's just like with Carla Hamoka, the chicken in Canada.
- 1:45:36That was a serial killer. It was the cannon Barbie
- 1:45:40killers. Oh.
- 1:45:40Yeah, she's. Out.
- 1:45:42Yeah, Yeah. And she was actually a member of
- 1:45:44the PTA for a little while. She would be OK.
- 1:45:46No. Oh my God.
- 1:45:47No. No.
- 1:45:49Like the Green River Killer, Mr. Boy Scout leader and BTK and and
- 1:45:56it's just so and that's why these these are so important.
- 1:46:01And so, like, you know, like I said, everybody does what they
- 1:46:06want to do and what their passion is.
- 1:46:07And but like if people don't like and I ended mind saying,
- 1:46:14you know, we are powerful. We when we work together, look
- 1:46:17how quick like we shut Casey Anthony down.
- 1:46:20Like she attempted and she was that was it.
- 1:46:24She just made an attempt and she knew and I think why didn't we
- 1:46:28do this with gypsy? Like if we just would have put
- 1:46:31our foots down, all of us but her more intriguing because she
- 1:46:36wasn't a child involved. Well, with Gypsy it was more
- 1:46:40because everybody thought that she was abused.
- 1:46:44Right. You're not supposed to question
- 1:46:46an abuse victim, which, you know, I largely agree with for
- 1:46:49the most part. It's like just too many things
- 1:46:52weren't adding up and. Yeah, I, I just say Indians.
- 1:46:56And it's like, if we could see high insight, we would have done
- 1:46:59the same thing, you know? And there's still some that
- 1:47:02don't feel like, you know, we all feel so and everybody still
- 1:47:06has it like, and that's why it just keeps going and going and
- 1:47:09going because, you know, there's some people, no matter what the
- 1:47:13circumstances, you cannot justify it.
- 1:47:17Then there's some that's like, you haven't walked those shoes.
- 1:47:20You know, if what she's saying is true, you would you do the
- 1:47:24same thing? You know, it's just so it's,
- 1:47:30it's just, but it's like, you know, I think when it started,
- 1:47:33the thing was that once she had that year and a half of parole.
- 1:47:39So the, I think the deal was is can we get her back in, you
- 1:47:44know, if we can prove that it was wrong?
- 1:47:47And I think a lot of people were hoping that was like they were
- 1:47:50watching her every move. So I stopped that.
- 1:47:53I understand there are like, no, she she talked different today.
- 1:47:57That's it. I mean, you know, seriously.
- 1:48:01And there was some things that really like, yeah, she should
- 1:48:06have gone back in for some things she's done because others
- 1:48:08would have. But now we're coming up where
- 1:48:12she's getting ready to even be off parole.
- 1:48:14I mean, and I think she's going to get real messy after that.
- 1:48:19And it's like, I don't even know now, but it'll even because I
- 1:48:22thought maybe after parole it will kind of die down, right?
- 1:48:27Maybe people will focus more about Nick if they want to keep
- 1:48:30it going because she's kind of done.
- 1:48:35Maybe the show ends, it will die down and but I don't know.
- 1:48:41I mean, some have truly made a career off of this.
- 1:48:48And so that's where, but I just hope for the for the sake of
- 1:48:53other people that that need the attention, that need that, and
- 1:48:58that we just start seeing more variety, whatever it is, even
- 1:49:02people in the true crime that that explore it like a
- 1:49:05paranormal and like, for instance, that you know, Amy
- 1:49:10that was just in here. She does a lot of like different
- 1:49:14things. And I know she's done gypsy, but
- 1:49:16she you know, I know she's big into the Watts case and I never
- 1:49:21went on a deep on a watts either.
- 1:49:24Now I know the case, but I never that wasn't a case that I went.
- 1:49:28And in fact, I had told Amy that not too long ago.
- 1:49:30I said, you know, I don't know a lot of really detailed details.
- 1:49:35I know what happened and I, I know enough to talk about it,
- 1:49:38but I don't there's, I have real stuff going on in that Watts
- 1:49:42case and I don't even know. It's like whoa.
- 1:49:45Yeah, the Nicole Kessinger's interesting 1 Nicole.
- 1:49:49Kessinger thing, that's something I'll have to and I
- 1:49:53still try to look at the Megan Walsh thing.
- 1:49:56I haven't been able to find anything too much yet.
- 1:49:58I've been looking now. I don't know who Megan Walsh is.
- 1:50:02John Walsh's daughter, yeah. I told you about that.
- 1:50:08My bad. So actually that I just ran
- 1:50:13across that whenever it first came out, somehow it came out on
- 1:50:18my, you know, YouTube feed. It's John Walsh's daughter talk.
- 1:50:22Just heard her say. That well, but she was talking
- 1:50:25about how the custody of her child was taken from her by her
- 1:50:31parents. Yeah.
- 1:50:33Because was she like an addict or?
- 1:50:35Supposedly, according to her, she started questioning the
- 1:50:39narrative of how her brother died.
- 1:50:42And so it's very interesting. And, you know, I, I give him
- 1:50:47props for all that he has done. I mean, he has definitely
- 1:50:50created a movement of finding missing people and, and solving
- 1:50:56cases. So I definitely can't take that
- 1:50:59from him, right? But we all have, you know, our
- 1:51:02issues. And yeah.
- 1:51:05And I think that I would suspect, you know, he's getting
- 1:51:08older too, because I knows Callahan is now on this.
- 1:51:12So what I'm I bet would happen if it continues to take off,
- 1:51:19probably Callahan would take over is what I would suspect,
- 1:51:23which is his son. Everybody doesn't know who
- 1:51:25Callahan is so. So, so we are winding down now
- 1:51:30we've got 9 minutes and. I know we have been on don't
- 1:51:34drive a talker and I didn't know you would have all this missing
- 1:51:38stuff or I would have really shortened my back.
- 1:51:41I didn't know like how much I was supposed to kind of.
- 1:51:44But it's like. It's like my story is kind of
- 1:51:48how I got here. It's not simple and it's been
- 1:51:50years in the working and so I don't I sometimes I don't know
- 1:51:54how to shorten it. No, that's all right.
- 1:51:56And that's, that's why I ask people, you know, why they talk
- 1:52:00about what they talk about because it's important to them.
- 1:52:03And I think it's important for us as viewers to know a little
- 1:52:07bit more about why you do what you do.
- 1:52:10I definitely think so. And I love you and all this
- 1:52:13information and I really, I had no idea how in depth you were in
- 1:52:17the missing. You know, I've seen some stuff
- 1:52:20done, but I had no idea. I really, I've only really done
- 1:52:24a couple, you know, but at Military Broadcast Radio, we
- 1:52:29have decided as an organization that we have created a SOPA
- 1:52:34standard operating procedure of when somebody comes to us to
- 1:52:39advocate for a missing child, because we ran into some issues
- 1:52:44with the last one. And so we want to be a support
- 1:52:49system, but we don't want to facilitate anything that is not
- 1:52:54kosher. Right.
- 1:52:57So, so we, you know, we have decided that as a as a radio
- 1:53:03station, we are going to deal with missing persons cases a
- 1:53:07little bit differently than we have been.
- 1:53:09So you seem you're very mature for I don't know how old you
- 1:53:13are. My son is 20.
- 1:53:15He'll be 27 in June. But you seem very direct in
- 1:53:19like, you know what you want and you, you like, you're focused.
- 1:53:23And I, I appreciate that and I enjoy seeing younger generations
- 1:53:27being that way because that is what we need.
- 1:53:30We need leadership. We, we need that.
- 1:53:33So I can tell Laura's like I'm on this and you know, she's not.
- 1:53:37I can tell she's not easily influenced.
- 1:53:40Oh no. Right.
- 1:53:41And that's great because that's what we need out here.
- 1:53:45Joyce said to Laura. Mature.
- 1:53:47Oh, I don't know what's, I don't know what the what an
- 1:53:52interesting what or a mature and then Nightbot said.
- 1:53:57So Nightbot is the app. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:54:02I don't get it. I'm confused.
- 1:54:03But yeah, thanks Joy, for all your faith in me.
- 1:54:06God, I don't know. I don't know if mature is the
- 1:54:11word that I would use to. Describe myself either, but
- 1:54:13especially after that Doctor Phil went.
- 1:54:17What the doctor Phil said that real quick before we lick.
- 1:54:20You we did a a Doctor Phil Jeopardy show, basically
- 1:54:27exposing fancy. I'm like, where do I go?
- 1:54:31Look at this in when your video, was it in there?
- 1:54:34Yeah, it's in there. Laura's dressed up as Doctor
- 1:54:38Phil for the thumbnails. I love that.
- 1:54:42Oh, I love fun stuff like that. And so you do like a Jeopardy
- 1:54:46theme? Like, yeah, yeah, we've got
- 1:54:48Toddy and Trixie and Millennial. Yeah.
- 1:54:53Oh, I miss that I. Miss Yeah.
- 1:54:56OK. So Lisa, as we're going out,
- 1:54:59yes. Is there anything that you would
- 1:55:01like to promote or tell anybody about?
- 1:55:04I just want people to know that I am so it is the search with
- 1:55:08Lisa. You will see conquer life on
- 1:55:11things on TikTok. It is still conquer life Lisa on
- 1:55:16there you'll see the detective sign and the awareness.
- 1:55:18I do a mixture. I try to intertwine also doing
- 1:55:22some awareness things. My mother has dementia and right
- 1:55:27when I started the series of me mom and dementia our journey,
- 1:55:32mom went into the hospital for like 3 or three weeks.
- 1:55:35I have a lot of stuff documented on that and I'm trying to get
- 1:55:38that together. So I didn't get to start the
- 1:55:40series as quick as I wanted. So that is and I try to do
- 1:55:46something like a little light hearted.
- 1:55:48I will say this real quick, like it's called makeup for A cause.
- 1:55:51And tonight I'm kind of just down like just normal kind of
- 1:55:56makeup, but I'll do something that's kind of makeup is my
- 1:56:00therapy. And So what I'll do is I'll do
- 1:56:03something like today, like this month is May, like brain tumor
- 1:56:10awareness. May is Gray.
- 1:56:12So basically anything dealing with the brain.
- 1:56:14So for instance, I would do a whole Gray look, right?
- 1:56:18And do something very kind of more extreme with the makeup.
- 1:56:21But then when along with that, I will add like all the symptoms
- 1:56:25and just all the information with it and put together as a
- 1:56:28video. So if you see something that
- 1:56:29says makeup for a 'cause it really is like an awareness
- 1:56:33video. The makeup is just something to
- 1:56:34kind of draw you in. So sometimes you'll find me
- 1:56:37online doing the makeup look, but other than that, basically I
- 1:56:41started part time with once a week and I am now with my mom is
- 1:56:47really declining mentally, physically, she's still great,
- 1:56:50but she really like there's a she doesn't know who I am, you
- 1:56:53know, And so we are having more helps, you know, and I've been
- 1:56:58able to move in a private room now.
- 1:57:01So I will be going more full time as my point and more
- 1:57:04consistently. So the more we can grow, the
- 1:57:08better we are. And I hope to inquire, you know,
- 1:57:12and put him or not inquire, but intertwining more, having fun
- 1:57:18things. I enjoy a good game night, a fun
- 1:57:20night, doing panel talks, things like that.
- 1:57:23That's where I'm going. So like you're helping,
- 1:57:26assisting, you know, they'll be, as I build, they'll be more.
- 1:57:29It took me a while on another app and switching apps.
- 1:57:33It's like you're starting all over.
- 1:57:34You will have some of your original supporters, but I tell
- 1:57:38people, don't look at numbers because if you have that tribe,
- 1:57:41it doesn't. You could have a million
- 1:57:43followers, but you won't have a million in your chat, I promise.
- 1:57:47So they're the ones that are with you and that's all I'm
- 1:57:50worried about, you know, and I just really appreciate you guys
- 1:57:54having me up here. And really I, I truly appreciate
- 1:57:57that. I've kind of felt like a lone
- 1:57:59wolf. So I'm very thankful for anybody
- 1:58:02that takes the time. Yeah.
- 1:58:04You're welcome, Lisa and you are welcome anytime and and we do
- 1:58:08want to thank you for doing brain tumor awareness because my
- 1:58:14husband has a brain tumor so and his birthday.
- 1:58:17'S in May. Yeah, that's it.
- 1:58:20Wow. Now it's non cancerous, so it's
- 1:58:24in the meninges so but but thank you very much for what you're
- 1:58:29doing and we will hopefully have you back.
- 1:58:34I hope so too. I hope so too.
- 1:58:35You guys are doing phenomenal. So thank you, Lisa.

- 1:59:00definitely more more my thing, you know, I definitely resonate
- 1:59:07more with that. So.
- 1:59:09They have their whole lives out of them.
- 1:59:11Also, Joy, sorry that our nightbot was bullying you in the
- 1:59:14comments. I don't really know why you
