- 0:00Speaker 1: I have a dilemma.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Are you caught on the horns of a dilemma?
- 0:05Speaker 1: Sure? So, I've been very excited about the movie Project
- 0:11Speaker 1: Hail Mary, which debuted this weekend to massive success.
- 0:15Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and great reviews, great reviews.
- 0:18Speaker 1: They had eighty million dollars, highest debut this year and
- 0:25Speaker 1: the most impressive opening weekend for a not sequel, not franchise,
- 0:31Speaker 1: not anything since Oppenheimer.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I saw her.
- 0:36Speaker 1: You to bring up the one bad review.
- 0:38Speaker 4: I can't remember where I saw it, but it's only one.
- 0:41Speaker 1: But so excited about it because I read the book
- 0:45Speaker 1: and I loved the book, and I've been anxious to
- 0:47Speaker 1: see it. And my husband is currently reading the book. Yes,
- 0:53Speaker 1: but he is not finished with the book, yeah, because
- 0:57Speaker 1: he has like three other books that he's reading just
- 1:00Speaker 1: slow time. He's got all of these, like he's reading, uh,
- 1:07Speaker 1: the Intelligent Investor, which is a book about investing.
- 1:11Speaker 4: He's reading Wait a minute, The Intelligent Investor is a
- 1:14Speaker 4: book about investing.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Why didn't you.
- 1:17Speaker 1: See he's reading a book about the stoics. He's got
- 1:21Speaker 1: these other books going, so he hasn't And I I'm
- 1:26Speaker 1: debating if I just go see it and not wait
- 1:31Speaker 1: for him to finish.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Just go by myself, and you should go and see
- 1:35Speaker 2: it in IMAX.
- 1:36Speaker 1: That's well, So this was my dilemma because it won't
- 1:39Speaker 1: be an IMAX forever. They only keep those in for
- 1:42Speaker 1: a few couple of weeks, and I don't want to
- 1:45Speaker 1: wait until he's.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Done see it. You'll go see it again.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I mean, I totally would. I mean, I'm assuming I'm
- 1:53Speaker 1: going to love it. I'm anticipating with you.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Yeah, you'll see it again, although I don't know, Gina.
- 1:58Speaker 4: You may go and and and agree with that one
- 2:00Speaker 4: bad review.
- 2:03Speaker 2: You never know.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I okay, So I have your permission?
- 2:07Speaker 4: Yes, No, I'm no, No, I'm sorry.
- 2:12Speaker 2: You don't have my permission.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Do I sneak and do it? Or do I tell
- 2:17Speaker 1: him I'm doing it?
- 2:18Speaker 2: Tell him? What do you? Okay? Why would you sneak?
- 2:22Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:22Speaker 2: Why would you?
- 2:24Speaker 5: That's that's because he would because he will feel bad.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Oh that's strictly for French fries and thing dogs. Yeah okay,
- 2:31Speaker 5: Oh no, here, Gina, No, here's here's what you do.
- 2:35Speaker 5: The secret you don't you don't tell him.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Don't tell him, and then you'll you'll have a wonderful
- 2:41Speaker 4: time trying to pretend you've never seen it.
- 2:43Speaker 2: When you go, I wouldn't expect not to have.
- 2:47Speaker 4: Yeah, that'll be that'll be really fun, you pretending you
- 2:52Speaker 4: haven't seen it.
- 2:53Speaker 2: That's what I want to have happened.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Isn't it fun to be excited about something that's coming out,
- 2:58Speaker 1: like it's been a while.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I didn't know.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Since I've been excited about seeing.
- 3:04Speaker 3: It, or I've got an opposite dilemma is that there
- 3:09Speaker 3: are all these shows that Sue and I watch together,
- 3:12Speaker 3: and they're starting to stack up because we've both been
- 3:14Speaker 3: too busy to watch them. And then there are shows
- 3:18Speaker 3: that she said she wants nothing to do with, and
- 3:21Speaker 3: I don't remember what those shows are, so I could
- 3:24Speaker 3: watch those, but I forgot what they are.
- 3:27Speaker 4: It's like I can watch the the Duncan Egg, the
- 3:30Speaker 4: you know, yeah, that Seven Kingdom.
- 3:32Speaker 2: N I can watch that. My wife has no desire.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Oh I thought she liked that. No, No, see, I'm not.
- 3:39Speaker 3: I'm not sure where Sue lands on Monarch season two.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I'm not sure where she lands on that, and she
- 3:45Speaker 3: hasn't really said, so should I watch that?
- 3:48Speaker 2: Or should I?
- 3:49Speaker 1: Is she still out of town? No, she just got
- 3:51Speaker 1: back last time, because that's when you do it is
- 3:53Speaker 1: when she's gone, you catch up on all the stuff
- 3:56Speaker 1: she's am.
- 3:57Speaker 4: I started watching DTF Saint Louis. I watched the first episode.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
- 4:03Speaker 4: It's really good. It's very good. And and what's his name?
- 4:07Speaker 4: From the Stranger Things? Uh, is excellent in it?
- 4:12Speaker 2: Hell Boy? What's his name? Oh did he play hell Boy?
- 4:16Speaker 2: He was in the last hell Boy movie? Yeah, he really.
- 4:20Speaker 4: What's his name, David, David Harbor Harbor, Yeah, he's he's
- 4:23Speaker 4: very good. And uh, yeah, it's it's and it's quite good.
- 4:27Speaker 4: It's done by this guy. And what made me finally
- 4:30Speaker 4: watch it was I realized the guy who created the
- 4:32Speaker 4: show did a show a couple of years ago called Patriot.
- 4:37Speaker 4: There were two seasons of it, which was if you've
- 4:39Speaker 4: never seen it, go back and find it. It's so good.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 3: So we watched the first episode of that together and
- 4:47Speaker 3: then we never brought it up again. It was like
- 4:50Speaker 3: the disappeared. So should I continue?
- 4:53Speaker 2: I don't. I'm not sure I want to. I don't know.
- 4:56Speaker 4: I think there are rules to these things, you know,
- 4:59Speaker 4: what kind of of rules.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Just that if it's a show you're watching together, you
- 5:03Speaker 1: watch it.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Toget you have to wait.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Well, sometimes here, here's what happens. My wife has goes
- 5:10Speaker 4: out and does Roller Derby a couple of nights a week,
- 5:14Speaker 4: you know, and I that's when you watch those shows. Yes,
- 5:17Speaker 4: or sometimes I will watch an episodeisode of the show
- 5:20Speaker 4: that we are watching together. She says, go ahead, watch it,
- 5:23Speaker 4: and men, I'll watch it when I come home.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Okay, that's fair.
- 5:27Speaker 3: I feel like usually we watch Saturday Night live on Sunday,
- 5:31Speaker 3: you know, self care Sunday. Yeah, but she was out
- 5:35Speaker 3: of town, so I didn't watch it.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Oh, and I probably should have. Yeah, because that's for work.
- 5:41Speaker 5: You kind of should do that.
- 5:42Speaker 2: That was for work. Yeah, don't you.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Ever use that, because sometimes I use that.
- 5:45Speaker 2: It's for work.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I got to watch this for work.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Corey in the chatroom says DTF gets better and better
- 5:51Speaker 4: and better, and it really does. It's just it's I've
- 5:55Speaker 4: only watched three episodes and I think they're like ten
- 5:58Speaker 4: or less.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Well, Bill frostwork talking TV before you get here. That's
- 6:03Speaker 1: is that?
- 6:03Speaker 2: Okay? We're sorry. I mean, if if you feel offended,
- 6:06Speaker 2: I'm sorry. No, no, go right ahead.
- 6:08Speaker 1: That was saying he likes DTF.
- 6:10Speaker 2: St Louis Oh Okay, he gets better and better and better.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I think I watched three episodes
