Dearborn 'Sad Faces' for the Ayatollah, Hezbollah Inspired Michigan Man & Democrats’ Cash Pipeline at Risk Week In Review · The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson

0:00
Speaker 1: Welcome in his verdict with Ted Cruz the Weekend Review,
0:03
Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson with you, and here are some of the
0:04
Speaker 1: big stories that you may have missed that we talked
0:06
Speaker 1: about this week. First up, a Michigan candidate is now
0:10
Speaker 1: saying that in Dearborn, the people there may be sad
0:15
Speaker 1: because the Iatolin Iran was killed, so therefore he doesn't
0:19
Speaker 1: want to talk about it. We'll have that story in
0:22
Speaker 1: a moment. Also, the senegogue attacker was attacking. Now we've
0:26
Speaker 1: worn on behalf of hesblah that happening in Michigan, and
0:30
Speaker 1: why is the media not covering it at all?
0:33
Speaker 2: And finally, the big.
0:35
Speaker 1: Democratic organization Act Blue there's a very good chance they
0:39
Speaker 1: could be investigated. The New York Times is now reporting
0:42
Speaker 1: for what we explained it all. It's the Weekend Review
0:46
Speaker 1: and it starts right now. If you think Mandannie's like
0:49
Speaker 1: a one off, you're wrong. And if you want proof
0:52
Speaker 1: of it, and how concerned you should all be over
0:54
Speaker 1: these types of individuals. Let's take a look at the
0:57
Speaker 1: Michigan Senate candidate that have void's discussing Iran, because quote,
1:02
Speaker 1: there's a lot of people in Dearborn who.
1:04
Speaker 2: Are sad that we took out the Ayahtola.
1:07
Speaker 1: Like, this is not just Mandani, folks, this is the
1:10
Speaker 1: Democratic Party growing very quickly in this Yeah.
1:14
Speaker 3: Look, some listeners, particularly listeners who are skeptical, when I
1:18
Speaker 3: said Mondani was sad the Iyahtola was killed, might have said, gosh,
1:23
Speaker 3: that's that's too harsh. He's not really that that that's
1:26
Speaker 3: putting too much. Well, Mondani is part of a broader
1:30
Speaker 3: movement of America hating Islamists who are taking over the
1:33
Speaker 3: Democrat Party. And in Michigan you've got a candidate for
1:36
Speaker 3: US Senate, a guy named Abdul l Sayed, And interestingly enough,
1:42
Speaker 3: he was caught on tape strategizing what to say about
1:46
Speaker 3: the the Iran War. And I'll tell you what, how
1:50
Speaker 3: about I don't put words in his mouth. Ben doesn't
1:52
Speaker 3: put words in his mouth. Let's listen to the words
1:55
Speaker 3: that came out of his own mouth. Give a listen again.
1:58
Speaker 4: This is going to say was and house. I want
2:00
Speaker 4: to remind you guys that there are a lot of
2:02
Speaker 4: people in Dearborn who are sad today. So like, I
2:06
Speaker 4: just don't want to comment talk to money him an
2:08
Speaker 4: a at all. I don't think it's worth.
2:12
Speaker 1: Even touching that doesn't even want to touch this, this
2:16
Speaker 1: this butcher and killer and murder of Americans. Because there's
2:20
Speaker 1: a lot of people that he wants to vote for
2:22
Speaker 1: him in Dearborn that are sad today.
2:25
Speaker 3: And by the way, you hear his staffers huh huh
2:27
Speaker 3: oh yeah, yeah, I mean they all know that this
2:29
Speaker 3: is no secret. Why are the people in Dearborn sad?
2:34
Speaker 3: They're sad for the same reason Mondani is sad because
2:38
Speaker 3: far too many of them are Islamists who cheer for
2:42
Speaker 3: the Islamists who want to kill Americans. And and you
2:46
Speaker 3: know this Michigan Senate candidate, you know, to talk about
2:50
Speaker 3: cynical listen to his strategy rather than talk about US
2:53
Speaker 3: national security, rather than talk about killing terrorists, rather than
2:55
Speaker 3: talk about keeping America safe. What do you think he
2:58
Speaker 3: wants to do instead? Well, again, don't take my word
3:01
Speaker 3: for it. Give a listen to his strategy rather than
3:04
Speaker 3: address US national security.
3:06
Speaker 4: And I'm just gonna go straight at pedophilia. Frankly, how's a
3:09
Speaker 4: black pedophile? President Brian decides that he doesn't like the
3:11
Speaker 4: front page US, so he decides to take US into
3:14
Speaker 4: another war. There was a time when you all were
3:15
Speaker 4: talking about America first, it seems to be to be
3:19
Speaker 4: America last.
3:20
Speaker 1: There it is like we're just gonna make up stuff,
3:23
Speaker 1: lie about the president, and do this, and that'll be
3:26
Speaker 1: our pivot from us actually having to talk about what's
3:28
Speaker 1: happening in Iran because I don't want to upset the
3:30
Speaker 1: Islamist that support Mond, you know, support the Iatola.
3:34
Speaker 3: By the way, quick question, what painting did Jeffrey Epstein
3:39
Speaker 3: have hanging in his living room in New York City?
3:41
Speaker 2: It was Bill Clinton in a blue dress, isn't that right?
3:44
Speaker 3: And red pumps. He literally had a painting of Bill
3:47
Speaker 3: Clinton on his wall. He was an original friend of Bill.
3:50
Speaker 3: Bill Clinton practically had his own seat on the Louiit
3:54
Speaker 3: Lead Express. And yet the Democrats just scream, okay, let's
3:57
Speaker 3: let's just call Trump a pedophile. It's pure or. But
4:01
Speaker 3: but the citicism of it, the cynicism of it, is
4:05
Speaker 3: only works because the media is corrupt. Let's listen to
4:08
Speaker 3: what else this Democrat sidate candidate had.
4:10
Speaker 4: To say, Like we have the moral high round here.
4:12
Speaker 4: I think the more we stay out is like they're
4:15
Speaker 4: going to try and dat us into saying yeah. But
4:17
Speaker 4: isn't it justified now that they took him out right?
4:19
Speaker 4: And I just think we.
4:23
Speaker 1: Gotta prep for it. We gotta prep for taking out
4:25
Speaker 1: a murderous terrorist in Iran that says he wants to
4:29
Speaker 1: blow up and kill innocent Americans who already has and
4:33
Speaker 1: Israel and they're like, we gotta prep for this, guys,
4:35
Speaker 1: this is a big pr nightmare for us. What are
4:37
Speaker 1: we gonna do now?
4:38
Speaker 3: Well, there is one other Democrat strategy. One they scream
4:41
Speaker 3: pedophile and attack Trump. But there's a second Democrat strategy
4:45
Speaker 3: because if they don't want to actually talk about protecting
4:47
Speaker 3: America and killing terrorists, uh what what what they do
4:50
Speaker 3: instead is is is their old their old refuge. Well again, listen,
4:55
Speaker 3: rather than let me characterize it, I mean that they're
4:58
Speaker 3: talking about doing this, and Israel's issue always just makes
5:02
Speaker 3: me a little nervous.
5:04
Speaker 4: I figured as much I can, I can, I can
5:07
Speaker 4: shade away from it. But when I say if I'm
5:09
Speaker 4: going to take the shot, I can't just allude to it.
5:11
Speaker 4: I got to take the whole shot, which means that
5:14
Speaker 4: I'm gonna say, look, you've got a path backed Congress
5:18
Speaker 4: people who now don't want to empower Congress to step
5:22
Speaker 4: up and enforce its own prerogative. Yeah, ask yourself who
5:26
Speaker 4: that benefits and why? Ask yourself how powerful that force
5:29
Speaker 4: is in our politics if they won't even stand up
5:31
Speaker 4: to a president who's making illegal and unjustified war.
5:34
Speaker 3: Yeah, making illegal war in order to distract.
5:37
Speaker 4: Us, you know.
5:40
Speaker 5: Yeah, Yeah, I think that I think it's that shot
5:43
Speaker 5: is fine. I just think that it should always be
5:45
Speaker 5: coupled with the affordability argument. Like I think the danger
5:48
Speaker 5: here is just getting too caught up in the like
5:50
Speaker 5: high level politics of it and and not not spending
5:54
Speaker 5: enough time without.
5:55
Speaker 4: People in machine.
5:57
Speaker 2: This is gonna come.
5:58
Speaker 4: Up with what's your name with welch. Yes, Well, she's
6:02
Speaker 4: going to be hot on this, and she's she's going
6:04
Speaker 4: to bade me into the Israel stuff. And if I'm
6:08
Speaker 4: going to take the shot, I gotta set up.
6:09
Speaker 2: I gotta set up.
6:10
Speaker 4: The whole shot. That's the thing, you know what I mean? Like, look,
6:13
Speaker 4: I'm running against an a pack backed Democratic congressman, and
6:18
Speaker 4: you know what her statement was, We're perfectly okay with
6:21
Speaker 4: this war. She should have ASTs first.
6:24
Speaker 1: It's amazing how much sustain he has. By the way,
6:26
Speaker 1: for Jewish people in Israel, right, like just you can
6:28
Speaker 1: hear it there in his voice.
6:29
Speaker 2: He's like, look, we're gonna.
6:31
Speaker 3: His strategy is simple, attack Israel, attack the Jews. Like
6:34
Speaker 3: that is his strategy. And you know what in Dearborn,
6:37
Speaker 3: the same people who is he put it her quote
6:40
Speaker 3: sad that the Iyahtola who chanted death to America is
6:44
Speaker 3: no longer able to pay terrorists to kill Americans. Those
6:48
Speaker 3: are the same people that when you attack Israel and
6:51
Speaker 3: attack Jews, they get excited and vote for you. And
6:53
Speaker 3: you know, you know what's what's really terrifying. That may
6:56
Speaker 3: be a winning strategy in a Democrat primary in Michigan,
6:59
Speaker 3: and obviously was winning strategy in a Democrat primary in
7:02
Speaker 3: New York City. It was a winning strategy for Ilhan Omar,
7:06
Speaker 3: It was a winning strategy for AOC, It was a
7:08
Speaker 3: winning strategy for Rashida Talib. This is the base of
7:12
Speaker 3: the Democrat Party. And if you have any serious question
7:16
Speaker 3: about how do you protect America against radical Islamic terrorists
7:20
Speaker 3: who want to kill us? Yeah, like the Hesbala terrorist
7:24
Speaker 3: in Michigan that we started this podcast talking about today's
7:28
Speaker 3: Democrat party has nothing to say about it.
7:32
Speaker 2: Nothing.
7:33
Speaker 1: I want to move to this last story. It is
7:35
Speaker 1: April first, April fools. But this story is not a joke.
7:39
Speaker 1: We're not Babylon being you hear, Senator. This is actually
7:43
Speaker 1: a real story that has come out and it's amazing
7:46
Speaker 1: from the Washington Post talking about the Iran conflict, showing
7:50
Speaker 1: why energy dominance is so important.
7:55
Speaker 2: You can't make this up. I mean wow.
7:59
Speaker 3: So this is a real editorial in the Washington Post,
8:02
Speaker 3: and its editorial from the paper itself. It's not a
8:04
Speaker 3: guest columnist. It is entitled Three Cautionary Tales from the
8:09
Speaker 3: Iran Energy Shock. Never confuse good intentions with good planning,
8:15
Speaker 3: And here's what the Washington Post editorial board has to say.
8:19
Speaker 3: Roughly twenty eight million tons of liquefied natural gas have
8:22
Speaker 3: disappeared from global markets since the closure of the Strait
8:24
Speaker 3: of Hormuz and damage to Cutter's export terminals. Analysts predict
8:29
Speaker 3: the shortfall could last years. While every energy importer will
8:34
Speaker 3: feel the pinch, not every one of them will feel
8:37
Speaker 3: it equally. Germany, Taiwan, and California are cautionary tales. All
8:45
Speaker 3: three have had their politics shaped by green movements, and
8:48
Speaker 3: all three are more vulnerable for it. When environmentalists came
8:53
Speaker 3: to power. They force the premature retirement of nuclear reactors,
8:57
Speaker 3: coal plants, and oil refineries. They calculated that the planet's
9:02
Speaker 3: needs demanded it, and that global markets would fill the gap.
9:06
Speaker 3: All three polities are now frantically reversing course, but energy
9:11
Speaker 3: sources can't be rebuilt over night. Germany's Green Party was
9:16
Speaker 3: founded in nineteen eighty as an anti nuclear movement. When
9:19
Speaker 3: it first entered coalition government in nineteen ninety eight, its
9:23
Speaker 3: price of admission was nuclear phase out. It re entered
9:27
Speaker 3: government in twenty twenty one, in time to oversee the
9:30
Speaker 3: shuddering of Germany's last three reactors in twenty twenty three.
9:35
Speaker 3: The Greens also pioneered the phasing out of the country's
9:38
Speaker 3: coal plants that Germany sits atop thirty five billion tons.
9:45
Speaker 3: Billion tons of lignite did not enter into their calculations.
9:50
Speaker 3: Germany bet big on solar and wind, but intermittent renewables
9:55
Speaker 3: can't ensure a consistent supply. That left l ANDNG filling
9:59
Speaker 3: the gap. Last week, Energy Minister Katharina Reisch called the
10:04
Speaker 3: nuclear shutdown quote a huge mistake, with spot prices for
10:10
Speaker 3: LNG sharply up the government is now looking at restoring
10:14
Speaker 3: coal plants it retired in the past. Germany has imported
10:20
Speaker 3: nuclear generated electricity from France when squeezed, so noticed the
10:24
Speaker 3: Green Party. The effect of them is to go back
10:26
Speaker 3: to coal generation and to increase pollution. All right, let's
10:31
Speaker 3: continue and see what the Washington Post has to say
10:33
Speaker 3: about Taiwan. Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party codified anti nuclear dogma
10:40
Speaker 3: into its founding charter in nineteen eighty six. Its arch rival,
10:45
Speaker 3: the nationalist and at the time authoritarian Kumanting Kua Mantang,
10:50
Speaker 3: wisely built nuclear power plants as part of a breakneck
10:55
Speaker 3: industrialization program. When the DPP won power in twenty sixteen,
11:00
Speaker 3: it legislated a quote nuclear Free Homeland and began retiring
11:05
Speaker 3: the country's coal plants. Phasing out coal made sense, replacing
11:11
Speaker 3: nuclear with LNG much less. So. Like Germany, Taiwan can't
11:16
Speaker 3: rely solely on renewables. Taiwan has virtually no domestic fossil fuels,
11:23
Speaker 3: and without nuclear it has to import ninety seven percent
11:28
Speaker 3: of its energy by c Last week, the DPP reversed
11:34
Speaker 3: course and announced plans to restart the reactors. All right,
11:38
Speaker 3: how about the People's Republic of California, led by Comrade
11:41
Speaker 3: Gavin Newsom. In California, environmental regulations have achieved something remarkable.
11:49
Speaker 3: They have severed the state's gasoline market from the rest
11:53
Speaker 3: of the country. Unique fuel blend mandates mean no other
11:57
Speaker 3: state's gasoline is compatible with California. Other onerous regulations, emission fines,
12:03
Speaker 3: profit caps, drilling restrictions have driven refiners out, and there
12:10
Speaker 3: are no inbound pipelines for crude or refined products. Now
12:18
Speaker 3: gas is approaching six dollars a gallon YEP with no
12:24
Speaker 3: domestic replacement. California became dependent on gasoline imports from Asian refineries,
12:31
Speaker 3: which are now cutting shipments because the Strait of Hormuz
12:35
Speaker 3: is closed. As Chevron's refining chief Andy Waltz recently put it, quote,
12:40
Speaker 3: the California intent to offshore carbon to other nations has
12:45
Speaker 3: offshored their security of supply. Chevron has warned that it
12:49
Speaker 3: could leave California entirely within a decade unless regulations changed.
12:54
Speaker 3: By the way, Chevron was a California company. They moved
12:57
Speaker 3: to Texas in the last year because the California loonies
13:01
Speaker 3: drove them out. And here's what the Washington Post closes
13:05
Speaker 3: with the error in Germany, Taiwan and California was confusing
13:12
Speaker 3: good intentions with good planning and assuming a stable global
13:17
Speaker 3: energy market would always be there to paper over the difference.
13:21
Speaker 3: The Iran war shows it won't. The government's best situated
13:25
Speaker 3: to whether this energy shock are not the greenest, but
13:29
Speaker 3: the ones that treated energy as a national security interest
13:33
Speaker 3: and diversified their supply responsibly. I'm going to say something
13:37
Speaker 3: I don't know that I've ever said before. I agree
13:40
Speaker 3: wholeheartedly with the Washington Post.
13:43
Speaker 1: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
13:46
Speaker 1: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
13:48
Speaker 1: from earlier this week. Now onto story number two. All right, Senator,
13:53
Speaker 1: so let's get to this first big story here, and
13:56
Speaker 1: this is one of the ones that concerns me so
14:00
Speaker 1: much about what is happening in this country right now.
14:03
Speaker 1: We've also seen this happen in Europe, and we are
14:06
Speaker 1: now seeing that there are more attacks. We're seeing churches
14:09
Speaker 1: that are being burned around the world, and we're now
14:11
Speaker 1: saying this synagogue attacker that attacked on behalf of hes Blah,
14:17
Speaker 1: it happened right here in Michigan. We know a lot
14:19
Speaker 1: more now than we did before.
14:21
Speaker 3: Yeah, you remember when this story broke, when the man
14:24
Speaker 3: drove his truck into the synagogue that was also a school.
14:27
Speaker 3: There were over one hundred kids there. He was trying
14:29
Speaker 3: to kill as many young children as he could, and
14:33
Speaker 3: the media coverage they referred to him as Michigan Man.
14:37
Speaker 3: It was reminiscent of Maryland Man, the guy who was
14:40
Speaker 3: MS thirteen gangbanger and human trafficker. That was just a
14:43
Speaker 3: Maryland man who for some reason was deported. No one
14:46
Speaker 3: could imagine why. Well, here it was Michigan Man, and
14:49
Speaker 3: then they had all this sympathetic coverage. Michigan Man was
14:53
Speaker 3: upset that his brother had been killed in the Middle East.
14:56
Speaker 3: What they didn't mention is his brother was a commander
14:59
Speaker 3: for and so he was a terrorist. So hesbela terrorist
15:04
Speaker 3: in America, unhappy that a different Hesbela terrorist had been killed,
15:08
Speaker 3: and so he tried to kill as many children, as
15:11
Speaker 3: many Jews as possible. Here are the details. The attack
15:15
Speaker 3: earlier this month is from CNN on a synagogue in
15:18
Speaker 3: West Bloomfield, Michigan, was a quote Hesbela inspired act of
15:22
Speaker 3: terrorism purposely targeting the Jewish community and the largest Jewish
15:28
Speaker 3: temple in Michigan. The FBI said a news conference on Monday,
15:32
Speaker 3: the assailant, i'm On Ghazali, was a naturalized US citizen
15:36
Speaker 3: from Lebanons. Now put a pin in that that we
15:39
Speaker 3: need to change our vetting for naturalized citizens.
15:42
Speaker 2: Yeah.
15:43
Speaker 3: He rammed a pickup truck into the synagogue on March twelfth,
15:47
Speaker 3: as more than one hundred children were attending school inside.
15:53
Speaker 3: After waiting in the synagogue's parking lot for more than
15:55
Speaker 3: two hours, authority said, Gazali drove the truck far into
15:59
Speaker 3: the building, hitting a hiss security officer before the vehicle became
16:02
Speaker 3: wedged in a hallway. Security officers for the synagogue began
16:07
Speaker 3: changing gunfire with Ghazali, who eventually shot and killed himself
16:12
Speaker 3: inside the truck. During the chaos, the truck's engine compartment
16:15
Speaker 3: caught fire and caused extension extensive damage to the building.
16:20
Speaker 3: The truck was filled with over two thousand dollars of
16:25
Speaker 3: commercial grade fireworks and about thirty five gallons of gasoline,
16:30
Speaker 3: which he used to enhance the explosion. No one else
16:35
Speaker 3: was killed. One of the temple's lead security officers was
16:38
Speaker 3: injured after being hit by the vehicle. Had he lived,
16:41
Speaker 3: he would have been charged with providing material support to Hesbela,
16:45
Speaker 3: the Iranian backed terrorist group in Lemanon, said Jerome Gorgon,
16:49
Speaker 3: the US attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan. Gorgan
16:52
Speaker 3: added that Gazali was inspired by Hesbelon propaganda to carry
16:57
Speaker 3: out the attack. Quote. This man acted under Hesbelah's direction
17:03
Speaker 3: and control. He intended to kill others, not just himself.
17:08
Speaker 3: In the days after the attack, US official said Gazali
17:11
Speaker 3: was located in federal government databases as having connections to
17:16
Speaker 3: quote known or suspected terrorists associated with Hesbela. Stopped there
17:20
Speaker 3: for a second, so they searched the databases. The databases
17:23
Speaker 3: showed that he had connections to known or suspected terrorists.
17:26
Speaker 3: Then why the hell was this guy let in the
17:28
Speaker 3: country in the first place. Why did they allow him in?
17:30
Speaker 3: Why did they naturalize him as a citizen. I have
17:32
Speaker 3: a feeling that information in the databases didn't magically appear
17:36
Speaker 3: in the last fifteen months. It's been there a long time.
17:39
Speaker 3: It's just prior administrations didn't care. We didn't get to
17:42
Speaker 3: the bottom of that. A week prior to the attack,
17:46
Speaker 3: members of Gazali's family in Lebanon, including two brothers, were
17:50
Speaker 3: killed in an Israeli airstrike as the US and Israel
17:53
Speaker 3: entered its second week of conflict with Iran. Now this
17:56
Speaker 3: is where the media clutched their pearls. Well, his brother
17:59
Speaker 3: was killed. Naturally, when your brothers killed, what you do
18:02
Speaker 3: is try to murder a hundred kids. That's the normal
18:04
Speaker 3: reaction to that. But then here's the killer paragraph that follows,
18:10
Speaker 3: the Israeli. Israeli military said one of the brothers, Ibrahim
18:13
Speaker 3: Mohammad Ghazali, was a Hesbela commander in charge of managing
18:18
Speaker 3: weapons operations in the Raigning Proxy Group's bodder unit. Gazali
18:25
Speaker 3: began planning for the attack days earlier, so the FBI said,
18:28
Speaker 3: with his plans intensifying on March ninth. A review of
18:32
Speaker 3: Gazali's online activity dating to January. January was before the
18:38
Speaker 3: war in Iran started. YEP showed repeated searches for pro
18:42
Speaker 3: Hesbela and Iranian news outlets, as well as videos related
18:46
Speaker 3: to gunfire and ammunition. Beginning March ninth, FBI said he
18:50
Speaker 3: closely followed speeches and live coverage involving Hesbela Secretary Terry
18:54
Speaker 3: General Naim Kassem, along with reporting about an Iranian fatwah,
18:59
Speaker 3: a just ruling concerning Islamic law, calling for total jihad
19:04
Speaker 3: against the US military. He also researched Jewish cultural education
19:10
Speaker 3: and religious centers throughout the Detroit metro area, viewing multiple
19:14
Speaker 3: pages of upcoming events at Temple Israel and search specific
19:18
Speaker 3: terms and phrases such as quote the largest gathering of
19:22
Speaker 3: Israelis in Michigan Orthodox synagogues and Israelis near me. That day,
19:29
Speaker 3: after two people declined to sell them a weapon, Gazzali
19:33
Speaker 3: bought an AR fifteen style rifle, ten magazines at about
19:36
Speaker 3: three hundred rounds of ammunition at a gun store in
19:39
Speaker 3: Dearborn Heights. Runyon said, Now, it's interesting that two stores
19:42
Speaker 3: declined to sell it to him, and yet the one
19:44
Speaker 3: in deer Born was willing to. I think that's something
19:47
Speaker 3: else you've owned a gun store.
19:48
Speaker 1: I was gonna say that is a massive red flag.
19:51
Speaker 1: Like if you turned down somebody and there's two stores
19:55
Speaker 1: they clearly like were doing their jobs by the way
19:58
Speaker 1: a gun stores and say so.
20:00
Speaker 3: Tell us as someone who has owned a gun store,
20:02
Speaker 3: like like this guy goes in and says, I want
20:04
Speaker 3: to buy an AR why would a gun store say no.
20:08
Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a couple of reasons.
20:09
Speaker 1: One, you profile and you can see if someone seems
20:11
Speaker 1: angry or agitated. You can also you're supposed to be
20:15
Speaker 1: looking to see if an individual you think is doing
20:18
Speaker 1: a straw purchase, which means they're buying for someone else illegally.
20:22
Speaker 1: You'll see that happen a lot of times with wives
20:24
Speaker 1: that will come in their husband would be a felon,
20:27
Speaker 1: or someone that's disqualified from only a weapon, or a
20:29
Speaker 1: friend will come in. You'll see people that walk in
20:32
Speaker 1: the store, they'll look at a gun, they'll take a
20:34
Speaker 1: picture of it, they'll leave, and then literally thirty seconds later,
20:37
Speaker 1: a minute later, someone comes in and tries to buy
20:39
Speaker 1: the exact gun that you just showed to someone else. Like,
20:41
Speaker 1: there's multiple things that you look for here. But then
20:45
Speaker 1: there's also conversations if you see that someone comes in
20:48
Speaker 1: and by the way, if you believe that they're drunk
20:50
Speaker 1: or high or on some sort of drug, you can refuse.
20:53
Speaker 1: And if you just have a really bad feeling it's
20:56
Speaker 1: something doesn't feel right, you can say I'm not gonna
20:59
Speaker 1: say you are gone, and you have the rise of
21:01
Speaker 1: store owner to do that. But when you hear that
21:04
Speaker 1: two gun stores did this, that says most Yeah, that
21:07
Speaker 1: says a lot, because something there I would love to
21:10
Speaker 1: see and go back and here because I'm sure there's
21:13
Speaker 1: going to be an interview.
21:15
Speaker 2: What was it?
21:16
Speaker 1: And then were the authorities alerted to this and yet
21:18
Speaker 1: a third store was able to sell them the gun?
21:19
Speaker 1: They didn't check in on that afterwards. That also is
21:22
Speaker 1: very concerning.
21:23
Speaker 3: Yeah, the story continues. He practiced shooting the new weapon
21:26
Speaker 3: the next day and bought the fireworks. An order of
21:30
Speaker 3: dozens of water containers arrived on the eleventh day before
21:33
Speaker 3: the attack, and he immediately started filling them with gasoline,
21:36
Speaker 3: making four trips to gas stations so he would not
21:38
Speaker 3: arouse suspicion. He also bought two torchlighters, which authorities believed
21:43
Speaker 3: he used to set his truck on fire. On the
21:46
Speaker 3: day of the attack, Gazzali sent his sister, who authorities
21:49
Speaker 3: believe lives in Lebanon, numerous videos and messages quote affirming
21:55
Speaker 3: his Hesbola inspired ideology. Ten minutes before he drove his
21:59
Speaker 3: truck into the synagogue, Gazali sent his sister two videos
22:02
Speaker 3: in Arabic indicating that he was at the largest gathering
22:06
Speaker 3: of Israelis in the state of Michigan, had booby trapped
22:10
Speaker 3: his car and would forcibly enter and start shooting people.
22:13
Speaker 3: The FBI said, God willing, I will kill as many
22:17
Speaker 3: of them as I possibly can. Gazali recorded himself saying,
22:20
Speaker 3: according to Runyan, look, these are the kind of threats
22:25
Speaker 3: we're facing. By the way, this podcast covered when the
22:28
Speaker 3: Iranian fotwell went out, and we have covered at length
22:34
Speaker 3: the radical Islamic terrorists that the Biden administration allowed to
22:38
Speaker 3: flood into this country and the lack of vetting, and
22:42
Speaker 3: tragically all of this happened at the same time we
22:45
Speaker 3: had the Department of Homeland Security shut down because the
22:48
Speaker 3: Democrats have defunded it. And I'm sorry to say this
22:51
Speaker 3: guy is not the last radical Islamic terrorist left in
22:54
Speaker 3: the country, and yet Senate Democrats do not seem to
22:58
Speaker 3: care at all.
23:00
Speaker 1: Back in time, just a little bit to remind people,
23:02
Speaker 1: this was part of what President Trump had said we
23:05
Speaker 1: need to do, which was to go back into vet
23:07
Speaker 1: Can you give an update on that? And as some
23:10
Speaker 1: of that vetting stop because of DHS lack of funding
23:13
Speaker 1: and in all these fights and the government shutdowns that
23:15
Speaker 1: have happened.
23:17
Speaker 3: Well, some of that vetting would be happening at the
23:19
Speaker 3: State Department, some of it would be happening at DHS,
23:22
Speaker 3: and so I don't know the status of that vetting.
23:25
Speaker 3: We have not gotten a report. We obviously have a
23:27
Speaker 3: brand new Secretary of Homeland Security, Mark Wayne Mullen. By
23:31
Speaker 3: the way, I will point out, every Democrat but two
23:34
Speaker 3: voted against confirming him. So their position is they don't
23:37
Speaker 3: want a secretary of DHS. And by the way, they
23:39
Speaker 3: all like Mark Wayne. He was a colleague in the Senate.
23:41
Speaker 3: They knew him, he was well liked on both sides
23:43
Speaker 3: of the island. Was not personal. They wouldn't vote to
23:47
Speaker 3: confirm it bugs Bunny as head of DHS. Their party
23:52
Speaker 3: is the open borders party. Anyone who has focused on
23:55
Speaker 3: securing the border.
23:57
Speaker 6: Today's Democrats oppose as before, I want to hear the
24:00
Speaker 6: rest of this conversation on this topic. You can go
24:03
Speaker 6: back and down the podcasts from earlier this week to
24:05
Speaker 6: hear the entire thing. I want to get back to
24:09
Speaker 6: the big story number three of the week. You may
24:11
Speaker 6: have missed all right center, there was something very interesting
24:14
Speaker 6: that happened this week.
24:15
Speaker 2: No one was really covering it.
24:17
Speaker 1: The New York Times, however, did report on this that
24:22
Speaker 1: that radical leftist organization Act Blue may have misled Congress
24:27
Speaker 1: on and I'm quoting here vetting foreign donations. Its lawyers said, so,
24:33
Speaker 1: just to be clear, another example of Democrats taking foreign interference,
24:37
Speaker 1: something I thought they were totally against in our elections,
24:39
Speaker 1: in our laws.
24:40
Speaker 2: But yeah, not on this one.
24:41
Speaker 1: Apparently foreign dollars coming in and they may not have
24:44
Speaker 1: vetted the money at all.
24:46
Speaker 3: So, in a shocking development, rain fell upwards, fish began flying, yeah,
24:54
Speaker 3: birds began swimming, yes. And the New York Times actually
25:01
Speaker 3: reported news, do.
25:03
Speaker 2: We do a golf clup for that? Like Little Masters?
25:06
Speaker 3: It is shocking this story, and this is actually a
25:09
Speaker 3: bombshell story that that could potentially have very real consequences.
25:14
Speaker 3: It's in the New York Times. The headline is Act
25:17
Speaker 3: Blue may have misled Congress on vetting foreign donations, its
25:22
Speaker 3: lawyers warned. So understand the source of this is Covington
25:25
Speaker 3: and Berling, which is a blue chip law firm in
25:30
Speaker 3: d C. That that that were Joe Biden's former White
25:33
Speaker 3: House counsel was the lawyer for Act Blue, and Act
25:37
Speaker 3: Blue is is a powerhouse it has raised billions and
25:41
Speaker 3: billions of dollars for Democrats.
25:43
Speaker 1: Say that again, not millions, billion, billions raids just for Democrats.
25:49
Speaker 3: That they flood money. And they have all of these
25:51
Speaker 3: donors who their credit card information is set in, they're
25:54
Speaker 3: on auto contribute month after month after month, and it
25:57
Speaker 3: just floods cash. Now here's what both The New York
26:00
Speaker 3: Times reported The Democratic fundraising group is facing investigations from
26:03
Speaker 3: the Justice Department and congressional Republicans ahead of midterm elections.
26:08
Speaker 3: In early twenty twenty five, a law firm working for ActBlue,
26:11
Speaker 3: the Democratic fundraising behemoth, delivered the organization a startling warning.
26:16
Speaker 3: The firm concluded that Actblue's chief executive had given a
26:20
Speaker 3: potentially misleading response to Congressional Republican investigators in a twenty
26:25
Speaker 3: twenty three letter explaining how the organization vetted donations to
26:30
Speaker 3: ensure that they were not illegally coming from foreign citizens. Quote.
26:37
Speaker 3: This presents a substantial risk for Act Blue, the law
26:40
Speaker 3: firm Comington and Berling wrote in one of the two memos.
26:43
Speaker 3: One memo raised the specter of criminal investigation of prosecutors
26:47
Speaker 3: believed that Act Blue had tried to conceal facts about
26:51
Speaker 3: its efforts to prevent foreign contributions. The memos instigated a
26:56
Speaker 3: meltdown at the highest levels of Act Blue, one of
26:58
Speaker 3: the Democratic parties most vital financial organs. A series of
27:03
Speaker 3: top officials resigned in quick succession. Act Blue is now
27:08
Speaker 3: all but declaring war on its past lawyers, an extraordinary
27:11
Speaker 3: turn of event at a moment when President Trump has
27:14
Speaker 3: already ordered a Justice Department investigation into the organization. Democrats
27:19
Speaker 3: are nervous that any additional upheaval at Act Blue could
27:23
Speaker 3: destabilize the critical fundraising apparatus ahead of the midterm elections.
27:29
Speaker 3: All levels of Democratic candidates, from incumbent presidents to school
27:34
Speaker 3: board aspirants, use Act Blue to raise campaign money from
27:39
Speaker 3: online donors. The platform has processed get this number nearly
27:45
Speaker 3: nineteen billion with a b billion dollars in contributions since
27:51
Speaker 3: its founding in two thousand and four, building a donor
27:55
Speaker 3: database with millions of credit card numbers that is unmatched
27:58
Speaker 3: in American politics. Nearly twenty three thousand candidates and groups
28:06
Speaker 3: used the site in twenty twenty five. In one year,
28:09
Speaker 3: nearly twenty three thousand candidates in groups and raised almost
28:13
Speaker 3: one point eight billion dollars from fifty two million contributions,
28:18
Speaker 3: some of which recur every month. And what is striking
28:24
Speaker 3: is the Covington memos said, and here's the really killer
28:28
Speaker 3: sentence quote. It can be alleged that Act Blue accepted
28:35
Speaker 3: and or facilitated the acceptance of foreign national contributions into
28:41
Speaker 3: American elections. In addition, because Act Blue staff was aware
28:47
Speaker 3: that its system was not as robust as necessary, it
28:50
Speaker 3: could be alleged that these violations were knowing and willful,
28:55
Speaker 3: a standard that both increases the penalties the FEC might
28:58
Speaker 3: seek and gives the Justice Department jurisdiction for a potential
29:04
Speaker 3: criminal investigation. This is a big, big deal.
29:10
Speaker 2: Yeah.
29:11
Speaker 1: When you say big deal, and I'm a pessimist now,
29:14
Speaker 1: like a lot of people, and every time we see
29:16
Speaker 1: something like this happen, then it's like, all right, well,
29:19
Speaker 1: is there gonna be people that go to jail and
29:20
Speaker 1: be arrested? And then it seems like nothing ever happens.
29:23
Speaker 1: So when you say this is a big big deal,
29:26
Speaker 1: are you saying that there could actually genuinely be people
29:29
Speaker 1: that get in trouble for this or is it just
29:31
Speaker 1: gonna be like someone will fine and we move on
29:33
Speaker 1: or even nothing at all.
29:34
Speaker 3: Look, there could be people criminally prosecuted, there could be
29:37
Speaker 3: people going to jail, but that's not really the biggest consequence.
29:40
Speaker 3: The biggest consequence is if there's a criminal investigation. And
29:44
Speaker 3: this is Covington and Berling, a big Democrat law firm,
29:49
Speaker 3: that was the lawyer for Act Blue, telling them, holy crap,
29:52
Speaker 3: you guys have screwed up, and you've got real exposure.
29:55
Speaker 3: And then this is The New York Times, the official
29:59
Speaker 3: mouthpiece for the Democrats, reporting on it. The biggest political
30:05
Speaker 3: consequence would be if a criminal investigation shuts down Act
30:08
Speaker 3: Blue between now and the election, because Act Blue, if
30:12
Speaker 3: nothing else happens, Act Blue will raise billions of dollars
30:17
Speaker 3: for Democrats between now and November. And by the way,
30:21
Speaker 3: Act Blues defense, one of their defense is, well, well
30:26
Speaker 3: we we. Less than one percent of contributions in twenty
30:31
Speaker 3: twenty four were from foreign countries. Well, less than one
30:36
Speaker 3: percent out of nineteen billion dollars is a crap ton
30:40
Speaker 3: of money, and it is illegal, and that dynamic. And
30:45
Speaker 3: I'll give you some other other stats. So here's something
30:47
Speaker 3: Greg Price tweeted. With all the headwinds facing the GOP,
30:52
Speaker 3: national Democrat groups have a serious fundraising problem going into
30:55
Speaker 3: the midterm. The DNC currently has more debt than cash
31:01
Speaker 3: on hand, while the RNC has over one hundred million
31:04
Speaker 3: dollars on hand. The slf CLF, NRCC, and NRSC, which
31:09
Speaker 3: are all the different committees on the Republican side, all
31:12
Speaker 3: have more cash than their Democrat counterparts. And now this
31:18
Speaker 3: with Act Blue, the Democrat crown jewel of their fundraising,
31:22
Speaker 3: the big, big political consequence if Act Blue has committed
31:27
Speaker 3: criminal conduct laundering foreign money into American elections, and if
31:32
Speaker 3: they actively covered it up, which is what Covington and
31:35
Speaker 3: Berling suggest there's evidence of, that could be more than
31:38
Speaker 3: sufficient for the Department of Justice to shut Act Blue down.
31:43
Speaker 3: And if that money spigot is cut off from Democrat
31:47
Speaker 3: candidates in November, that has massive, massive consequences.
31:52
Speaker 1: For the area, and it shuts off the foreign money.
31:55
Speaker 1: Right that's also the big part of this. And so
31:57
Speaker 1: even if if they try to morph into a new group,
32:00
Speaker 1: right people leave.
32:00
Speaker 3: And by the way, look, the foreign money is not
32:03
Speaker 3: just some hypothetical specter. If you're that, if you're the Chinese,
32:07
Speaker 3: if you're the Russians, if you're the Iranians, if you're
32:10
Speaker 3: the Venezuelans. If you're the Cubans, it is objectively in
32:14
Speaker 3: your interest to have Democrats win in November. Donald Trump
32:17
Speaker 3: has made your life a living hell, and so you
32:21
Speaker 3: want Congress to declare war on President Trump. You want
32:24
Speaker 3: a Democrat House and Senate that impeaches the president, that
32:27
Speaker 3: investigates the president, that prevents the president from doing what
32:30
Speaker 3: he's done to the enemies of America.
32:32
