- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Oh, did you see Kenny's text?
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: Kenny said, I know he's bad, but I think it's hilarious.
- 0:05SPEAKER_01: He got ISS the last week of school for stealing the math final exam and selling the answers.
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: I bet you Kenny though genius.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: That's called uh uh um uh entrepreneurship.
- 0:15SPEAKER_00: Entrepreneurship, Peggy, that's the word.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: Kenny, I bet you you're extremely smart and also an excellent salesman now.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: And dangerous.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: What do you do for a living?
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Because I feel like who you were as a senior or whatever you're I assumed this was I I don't know why, I assumed he was a senior because it was like math final exam, like when it really matters.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: I bet you you're very successful.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Yes, and honestly, they should have commended you uh for your ingenuity as opposed to, you know, punished you for that.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: And also think about this.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: You helped get some other uh kids out of the school that they probably wanted evacuated from the school anyway, that were terrible students.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: It all works in the world.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Wait, you're talking about part of Kenny's uh ring, his math finding.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: It could have been this ring.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: Maybe he had some friends that the school's like, can't wait till he goes to the next school or graduates.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: Well, sell them the test and get him out of there instead of having a repeat.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: All right, moving on from that for a minute.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: We are going, I have come to the conclusion on something, and here we go, we are going straight crime.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: Is it murder?
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: It might be, but here's the thing.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: I've decided now, if you're in a situation where someone is abducted, and they uh the uh messages start coming in saying we want Bitcoin, you can guarantee that person's dead that's been abducted.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: I've I've finally come to this conclusion.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: And here's the reason I'm saying this.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: I've been, I and I was shocked that yesterday, off-air, Allie and I were talking about this.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: This story is such an Allie Payne story, but you weren't really up on this.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: The uh grandmother that went missing in Vegas, she was there visiting friends, and uh, I guess from Jersey, and was at a bus stop.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: The trail went cold, and she's been missing for multiple days.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: But That's all I know, really.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Here's the where the twist comes in.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: It was days after she went missing.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: All of a sudden the family starts getting messages from her phone saying these are the listed demands, which include Bitcoin.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: So let me just tell you when you find Nancy Guthrie's mother, look next to the uh that grave and you'll find this woman, which makes me very sad.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: Wait, I got a question.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: So you said she was at a bus stop.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: How did everyone know?
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: Was there surveillance?
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's cameras everywhere in Vegas.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: So at this point, they were not tracking grandma.
- 2:24SPEAKER_00: Uh no.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: There was no shared location.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Okay, I've decided, especially after the Savannah thing and this thing, that once my parents start going on vacations, which, you know, whenever my mom heals up for her surgery.
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: Well, you're right.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: They are sharing their location with me.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: I think that's a wise idea.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Tiffany does it with jewels, even.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: You know, I mean they're back and I do it.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: It's not as far as that life 360, which I struggle with because I feel that's just overly controlling.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: I I know people try to sell us every time we mention the Life 360.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: I'm not into that level of it.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: I feel you have to, you have to lose my trust before I'm gonna go to that length.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: But sharing a location, like if you have iPhones, I don't have a problem with that.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: I think it's same, same.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Like same as life 360, because I I absolutely see that.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but you can shut off your locations.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: Like you're a grown adult.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: If you wanted to say you're going to buy Zach a present, you're not doing anything nefarious.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: You're you're just going to buy Zach a present.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: You're like, I don't want him to see that I also stopped at TJ Maxx for three hours.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: So you could just And then Wild Birds Unlimited Slide it over.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: But I can't do that because whenever I do, then he gets nervous.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: And he's like, Where are you?
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: And this is Don't you worry about it.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: I'm it's uh Wild Birds Unlimited for four hours.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: Right, right.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: But I I absolutely would do it, especially after this.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: So uh in Vegas, it's insane.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: I was just there.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: So they obviously saw that she was older, and I don't know, what did they do?
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Put a gun to her back and then move her somewhere else because and or maybe they they said don't say anything because there's so many people around at all times.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: How else would they have pulled this off?
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: Or here's the other thing, too.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: Criminals are very smart.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: Could and and this this lady, by the way, she she is uh not an old-looking lady at all.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: She was in her 60s, but you look at her, you're like, man, you've held together quite well lately.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: So maybe it was one of those things.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: Now hear me out.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: This is real criminal mind-ish.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Uh here.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: What if it was, you know, here she is sitting waiting for the bus, right?
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: She was waiting to go back to her friends, I guess.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: And then, you know, the abductor or abductors pull up and they go, uh, hey, ma'am, um, we just found out that the bus is actually delayed.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Where you had it?
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: And she's, you know, maybe she's like, Oh, get in a car like that.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: How how many people get scammed with the most obvious things, though?
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: You know, crazy.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: But they're like, you know, hey, um, you know, I could see something like that happening where they're like, oh, I'm going right over there.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: Next thing you know, you're in the middle of the desert next to Nancy Guthrie's mother.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: Well, and that's- Well, that is Nancy Guthrie, actually.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: That's the that's the other thing, is that you're in the middle of the desert at some point, no one is finding you.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: Here's what I think what happened.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of entertainment-y things in Vegas where people are on the streets and they'll say, Oh, excuse me, ma'am.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: Um, did you want to buy tickets to Penn and Teller for sure?
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: So I think she probably was like, Oh, I'll buy tickets for me and my friend.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: And then that could be too.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: That's an easy one there.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: And then all of a sudden they're like, Listen, you little listen, you little maggot.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: It's terrible.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: I mean, uh because here's the thing.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: You start getting the messages afterwards.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: I want you to realize something else too.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: If she had her phone with a lock and a code, yeah.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: She told them the code.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: They had to torture it out of her.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: Yes, there's that.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: I don't think you'd have to torture grandma very much, but there's that.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: I mean, they could jailbreak the phone too, but but really if she's alive, it's not good.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: Uh oh, somebody already had to send a 360 message.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: Good to share, even 360, because uh uh, as adults, they will not look uh for an adult uh uh an adult.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: Uh the biggest thing is they say an adult might just want to quote disappear.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I could yes, but I don't not in this case.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: This was not a case where this woman wanted to disappear.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: Ray, I because she was there visiting a friend, you said.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, which by the way, they said I was watching the newscast, she had done this trip many times.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: Unless she she was with that friend who I have vacation with friends that I can't wait for that vacation to end.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: Maybe she was like, God, make it end.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: I just can't stand hanging out with this person.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Now I really do have to disappear.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 6:40SPEAKER_01: Oh
