Transcript
- 0:00Hello everybody, and welcome to Honey Badger Radio. My name is Brian with
- 0:04Allison and this is maintaining frame number seventy six. We're gonna be talking about
- 0:09Jonathan Majors. But I'm also kind of playing with a new toy sort of.
- 0:15I don't know if it's a toy, but so I found this I'm
- 0:20gonna tell you about it. So I got there's this plug in that I
- 0:22found for obs that essentially it does what restream dot io is supposed to do
- 0:30with the with chat, but it actually includes every platform. So now if
- 0:36you guys look at the screen, you should see the live chat and it
- 0:41will include Rumble. So now if somebody posts on Twitch, on Facebook,
- 0:49on YouTube, on Rumble and on d live, which I have to like
- 0:53put on the screen what and not what? But not what? Twitter?
- 0:58Oh yeah, no Twitter? Twitter does It does supposedly integrate Twitter, but
- 1:03I don't see a place where you can include comments. So if you can,
- 1:11it will it should integrate with Twitter as well. It's got a lot
- 1:15of cool I'm still like learning things. But one of the things it does,
- 1:19which is sort of like stream yards, is like you can feature a
- 1:25comment. So if somebody makes a particularly great post, or if they send
- 1:29a super chat or something, you can like put it on the screen.
- 1:30And I haven't done this yet, but it also works with Discord, so
- 1:34if people send super chows, we can put those up on the screen.
- 1:40So you see that, you see, you see the power that we that
- 1:44we have, the power that we have potentially. I mean, I'm still
- 1:49learning it, but it's pretty it's pretty cool. Yeah, it's pretty cool.
- 1:53See I see mister O three oh three puts some, he puts some.
- 1:56And this is another thing tool because Rumble has custom gifts, emoji reactions,
- 2:00and they're coming up on the screen. So now those of you who
- 2:04are watching us on YouTube can see what you're missing out on if you're not
- 2:07on Rumble. So uh some awesome, Ye, great work, fascinating,
- 2:19fascinating new toy. Yeah, I mean it does kind of double post some
- 2:23things because I think it's integrated with restream and with itself. So Chris Hoff
- 2:29just made a comment in YouTube and it also went out on Twitch, so
- 2:32I'm seeing both of them. But whatever, I mean, I'll figure that
- 2:37out later. But okay, so anyway, I just wanted to tell you
- 2:40what we're doing. But go ahead, alse what were we gonna say?
- 2:43Oh ah, okay, So this is my part of the intro. If
- 2:49you would like to support the show, we our monthly fundraiser is live.
- 2:52There's days five days left to put a few shekels in the hat and it
- 2:57is at feedbadger dot com slash support. So take them moment right now and
- 3:00put that in your URL and go take a look at the various options that
- 3:05you can help. And I would like to do a shout out to Merritith
- 3:09g or one hundred smackerows. Oh thank you, Meredith g. You only
- 3:15cooperation and I'll just use the first part of your email Tipeg no no judgment,
- 3:25but Tiepeig gives us fifty bucks. Thank you, Tipeg, thank you.
- 3:31I'm really rich, okay, and so thank you both. And if
- 3:38you would like to join our very generous supporters to make sure that this show
- 3:40can keep going. I think we were no, actually I know we were
- 3:45the first to connect our society ignoring men's issues with its eventual downfall. I
- 3:51mean, who knew, right? Who knew that ignoring the situation for men
- 3:54are actively condemning them as toxic oppressors and relationships with men as horrible, you
- 4:01know, horrible impositions on women that no right minded woman would ever willingly go
- 4:06into. Who knew that would cause a demographic collapse? And who knew ignoring
- 4:12the problems facing men, you know, the half of the human race which
- 4:15is most responsible for the jobs that keep our society running. And there's really
- 4:18no way around that. Who knew that that would end up biting us in
- 4:24the ass? Well we did, We knew, did we not, Brian?
- 4:27We knew, and it is currently munging on our butts. So anyway,
- 4:35if you want to support the show that brought you such brought you such
- 4:41amazing hits, is ignore men's rights. Men's rights are actually also are sorry
- 4:46men's issues or society issues. Then please go to feed the Badger dot com
- 4:49slash support and help us out so we can continue to basically scream our Cassandra
- 4:56truths into the void. But I mean not as much the way because you
- 5:00guys are listening. Mm hmm. So once again, feed the Badger dot
- 5:02com slash support and if you like to send us a message at any point
- 5:08during the show, you can do so at feedbadger dot com slash Just the
- 5:12tip we will get the full benefit of whatever you pledge, and you will
- 5:15get the benefit of being able to confound us. Confound I was looking for
- 5:24a word because I was confined, you see how I was what the thing
- 5:26I was trying to? Yes, a word that describes what I was experiencing
- 5:33at the best. Okay, so you can confound us at greater length.
- 5:39And uh, you don't have to deal with YouTube censorship, which changes on
- 5:43the daily, and we get the full benefit of whatever you send us.
- 5:46So once again, it's a when when when, except maybe for YouTube at
- 5:49feed the Badger dot com slash just the tip and uh yeah, and you
- 5:55can send those tips even after the show is done, at any time,
- 5:59and we will endeavor to answer them at the next appropriate show. All right,
- 6:03Brian, all right, well let's get into today's story. That's gonna
- 6:09disappear because we are reading this article. Should I share my screen with you
- 6:15or yeah, I'll share it? Sure, yeah, sure it. That
- 6:17seems to be the best way to coordinate things. Yeah, if it lets
- 6:19me there it goes. Discord has been kind of a tird lately, so
- 6:27a little bit yeah, a douche corps. All right, so we have
- 6:31this story we covered the original allegations a while ago, and there's okay,
- 6:41so I'm trying to give the backstory. So there's this actor named Jonathan Major.
- 6:45Do I know him as someone who worked in a couple different areas.
- 6:50He was in the Creed films, well he is. He was in Creed
- 6:54three as the primary antagonist. He was also in the MCU he plays Kang
- 7:00and various versions. So he was in like ant Man and the Wasp or
- 7:04whatever, the last one in Quantum Mania, whatever it is. And so
- 7:08anyway, he's been making waves. He's you know, he's up and coming
- 7:12rising star, very popular, getting a lot of people. Yeah, yeah,
- 7:20false accusations, yeah, and then an allegation came against him. And
- 7:28just, folks, if you're a man and you attempt to be a high
- 7:31flyer, it can all be taken away from you in an instant by malicious
- 7:36false agullegation. Yep. Just just that's something to consider when you're considering contributing
- 7:43to society. Good lord, Like, I'm being sarcastic here, but is
- 7:49this really the reward for men contributing to society, like ultimately to become larger
- 7:57targets for false secuations? So yeah, I wonder if that will bite us
- 8:05in the ass, because it's not like it's not like they waited, right,
- 8:09They didn't wait. They're just like, this woman beaks off and then
- 8:11they're immediately, oh, we got to fire them, you know, kick
- 8:13him off the cast, this versions stop giving him jobs. The rumor mill
- 8:18has to chart out. And then suddenly you know, he's person non grata
- 8:22on an accusation. And they don't even wait. They're not even like,
- 8:24well, let's just see I mean we wait, but we called misogynists for
- 8:28that, right, pretty sure? You know that's that's the usual thing.
- 8:33If you're like, oh, but what, let's find out what can we
- 8:35wait till we see the reels of justice turn and see what comes out?
- 8:39Nope, that's misogyny talking. If you believe in due process for men,
- 8:43you're a misogynist. You're a misogyny worst damn right, Like that's not a
- 8:50foundational principle of a free society. Nope, that's misogyny. Free speech is
- 8:54misogyny, Due process is misogyny. I don't know. Freedom of association is
- 8:58miss mm hmmm. Being able to own your the products of your own labor
- 9:03is misogyny. I'm pretty sure, like everything, every every pillar of the
- 9:09magna cart is probably misogyny. You know, absolutely if you think about it,
- 9:15all of it. The only way we have to make it to the
- 9:20end of history by tearing down all that exists that we consider to be normal
- 9:26and fine. And so it's all yeah, we did consider it to be
- 9:31normal and fine, and that was even more evidence of the horrors of patriarchy.
- 9:35Mm hmm. No, yeah, anyway, let's let's go on.
- 9:39Apparently, like I'm pretty sure we were one of the few at the time.
- 9:41Let me, let me, let me just I don't think I reported
- 9:43this. I think this is probably on the news show, right, Okay,
- 9:46so I wasn't part of I'm gonna make a guess and you don't have
- 9:50to confirm if my guess is correct. We said, let's wait and see.
- 9:56M h You guys, you're like, okay, well, we don't
- 9:58know the truth of it, not necessarily going to disbelieve her, not going
- 10:03to say necessarily disbelieve her. Let's let's him let's wait till some evidence comes
- 10:07out. I'm pretty sure that's what you guys said. Yes, that's what
- 10:11we always say. And dark and look, I don't even really care for
- 10:16the guy as an actor or person. Really, he was like the you
- 10:20know, he's kind of like they were really trying to make him happen.
- 10:24I didn't think he was all that, you know, amazing as an actor.
- 10:28Everyone's gushing over him, especially the people at Disney. I've seen a
- 10:31couple of interviews. They they you know, for whatever reason, they were
- 10:35trying to make him happen. It's kind of like they do this with actors
- 10:39all the time, Like they find somebody and for whatever reason they say,
- 10:43I'm gonna make this person the man or woman. It's what they did to
- 10:46like countless actresses that were young and attractive, Emma Stone, Jennifer Lawrence,
- 10:52U the New the what's her name from the Black Widow movie? I don't
- 10:56even remember her name there, and they you know, Arlott Johanson. They
- 11:01take somebody and they and then they wear them out, and when they get
- 11:05to be like I don't know, twenty nine, they toss him aside and
- 11:07they get somebody else. Now it's like Jenna Ortega or uh, what's her
- 11:13name from Stranger Things or whatever, and that's it. That's just what they
- 11:16do. So they were doing that with Jonathan Major's I saw him in a
- 11:20couple of things. I was like, Eh, he's okay, like I,
- 11:22I, you know, doesn't I like I have. I'm not super
- 11:26picky on actors, but I like that if they have a personality, if
- 11:30they have like something that they're you know, that that you come to see,
- 11:33Like I like Sam Elliott because yeah, charisma, but like if just
- 11:39something like I like Nicholas Cage. I don't think he's everything he's in is
- 11:41great, but I know I'm gonna be in for a time, you know.
- 11:46I like, you know, I like Johnny Depp because he like vanishes
- 11:48into his roles or he tries to, you know, but he takes it
- 11:52the other way. But I also like little classic guys like Humphrey Bogart and
- 11:56Marlon Brando too. So it just depends on what you're bring it to the
- 12:00table, right, This is worse for for actresses, something I've noticed.
- 12:05Yes, Okay, so a beef. I'll do a brief shill for the
- 12:09patron community. You can access the free section at Badger Nation done online if
- 12:15you're interested in joining us for our discussions. That that is a subscription feed
- 12:20Thebadger dot com slash subscribe, So that's how you get to the place that
- 12:22I'm about to talk about. So each day we've been looking at some old
- 12:28school mystery, uh suspense kind of uh you know TV and movies, so
- 12:37not like stuff like peroo. Sorry I just heard. I just heard a
- 12:46chorus of the of French speakers just hissing at me when I parroh warrow warow
- 12:54Hercule, Hercule, yes, and uh some other like uh oh uh miss
- 13:03miss Marple, which is actually a really good one, and uh, you
- 13:07know other stuff like that older mysteries. Agatha Christie, she's like the maths
- 13:11mistress, the maestra of mystery, shall we say? And what I noticed
- 13:16about these old school movies and we've watched other stuff like just more suspense stuff.
- 13:22The female actresses really can command a room, like they have a lot
- 13:26of charisma. You know. In one movie that we watched, and I
- 13:31spoke about this earlier, the main female actor, actress, forget her name,
- 13:37but she she's just entertaining even when she's playing a bitch. Actually even
- 13:41more because she's playing a bit. She's just like so charismatic, so charismatic.
- 13:48Is this like a newer film. Oh it is in like the early
- 13:50eighties, but it was I just like the character. It was called Evil
- 13:56under the Sun, and the the female actress. I will find her name
- 14:03presently, uh was. I believe it's gonna take me a moment to get
- 14:11that. But regardless, she was. She was an older like enduring that
- 14:13film. Her hey day was probably like a couple of decades before. So
- 14:18she was a bit of a cougar, shall we say so. But she
- 14:22just was like very charismatic. And I'm like, there are no actresses like
- 14:26this anymore, you know. There's just they're so bland. Everything is so
- 14:33damn bland. It's not even it's not even you know, like you can
- 14:37really complain about it being woke. It's like woke is like the vanilla of
- 14:41everything. Everything has to be sort of turned into tapioca pudding and it's it's
- 14:46it's you know. But anyway, so, like you were saying that this
- 14:50guy doesn't really have a a lot of chrisma endemic Hollywood, you know how,
- 15:01this is the thing. Okay, what I saw, so I heard
- 15:03he was being cast. Now this was in the context of the MCU,
- 15:07but I think this is like across the board. You know, when somebody
- 15:11does a really good job, it normally it's noticed by people that watch it.
- 15:16It's not told to us like, oh, don't you love this person.
- 15:20It's more like they just perform and we're like, holy shit, that
- 15:22was great. Like Chris Pratt. I like Chris Pratt. I saw him
- 15:26some stuff and I was like, wow, this guy's amazing. Like I
- 15:28saw him on Parks and Recreation and I thought he was great. Or you
- 15:33know, for some people, it's just like you just see the talent,
- 15:35it's like right there. But when you have like the media in Hollywood telling
- 15:37you this person is a god, then you become really suspicious, suspicious because
- 15:43you're like, well, is he gonna deliver her or she? And I
- 15:46just you know, I think Jonathan Major is fine, Like he's fine,
- 15:48but there's a lot of people that are at that level. He's like I
- 15:52don't know, He's like Emilio Estevez, He's fine. You know, it's
- 15:56like no, no, seriously, he's the Tapioka desserts. You know,
- 16:00yeah, yeah, poker in front of pud be like, oh my god,
- 16:04it's good, you know, but it's but it doesn't it right doesn't.
- 16:08It doesn't fit into any specific like, you know, it's not like
- 16:12pumpkin pie around this time, a mid. It's a mid in every category.
- 16:18Yeah, yeah, it doesn't. It's not like, oh, we
- 16:19got to celebrate this with some tapioca. No, it's just like I kind
- 16:22of want that, so I'll eat it, you know. Yeah, I
- 16:26just want something to finish off my dinner, A mild palette, cleanser,
- 16:30you know, just just something, nothing, nothing challenging. Maybe my stomach's
- 16:33a little bit royally, yeah, but you know, it's just it's just
- 16:37mid. It's dessert. Yeah, yeah, Okay. So the woman's name
- 16:41is Diana Rigg. Yeah, And one of our commentators made sent us a
- 16:47message and he said, Diana Rigg is in the top handful of most attractive
- 16:52lovely women of all time. She's off the charts and every way. Even
- 16:55playing the bitch as she does in that film, she's still amazingly likable.
- 16:57Yes, yes, yeah, she played an utter bitch, and yet she's
- 17:03right. She was likable just because she just did everything with such panache,
- 17:08and honestly, that seemed to be a big part of being a Hollywood starlet.
- 17:14Prior to I don't know the naughties, who knows. Somewhere somewhere we
- 17:18forgot about women having personalities and they just needed to have duck lips and Disney
- 17:23noses and that's it, all right, all right anyway, So I got
- 17:30a super chat before we get started and a superchow, So I guess we
- 17:34gotta we gotta do those really quick before we get into it. So I
- 17:38got a super chow from Meredith G for five dollars, and she says,
- 17:44maintaining frame number seventy six. The Jonathan Major's case is a shit show because
- 17:48there is there are accusations in both directions of making matters worse. Is a
- 17:53corrupt district attorney. But recently the Metropolitan Police out of the UK have been
- 17:59cooperating with the New York City DA or districtor. That's weird. Why would
- 18:04why would that be the case? Why would why would the UK and New
- 18:11York be collaborating? Is it involved with this case? That seems really strange?
- 18:15But thank you Meredith. Yeah, I don't. I don't again,
- 18:18like we'll get through that. We'll read the articles, but I'm not necessarily
- 18:22on one side or the other. I just think that the whole thing does
- 18:26seem like a mask. But at the same time, it's like we I
- 18:29said, we should wait, and that's the that's the main problem, right
- 18:34yeah, yeah, Albernata retro gives his five dollars Canadian and says, not
- 18:38true. Allison Jenny McCarthy is a charismatic cougar. Look at how she pounced
- 18:42on and malled Justin Bieber. Somehow she did not end up in jail drug
- 18:48Okay, like that. The thing is I wasn't talking about, you know,
- 18:52obvious sexual abuse. Yeah, just uh, it's a little bit aggravating
- 19:00shoe hoarding that in Like, I'm not gonna take responsibility for this stretch here,
- 19:04Okay, Okay, So let's go ahead and get into the article.
- 19:11This is the update. Accuser of Marvel actor Jonathan Major's expected to be arrested
- 19:17Wednesday in his misdemeanor cross complaint against her. This is like a couple of
- 19:22days ago. So oh no, don't tell me. I gotta sign up.
- 19:27Okay, let's we're gonna we're gonna put this in the archive. Hold
- 19:30on a second, guys, I'm gonna switch and we're gonna we're gonna get
- 19:33the archive because this is so retro. Look at the look at the overlay
- 19:40text. That's like I'm getting flashbacks like the late nineties Internet. All we
- 19:47need is some gifts and some loading music. You know music. I mean,
- 19:52there's music playing right now. People always ask me about it. So
- 19:56you remember those those Oh wait, maybe I shouldn't talk. You need to
- 20:00do this work, but I'll talk to the people. Do you remember those
- 20:03pages that used to go to in the nineties and they'd load up the music
- 20:07and you'd be desperately looking for a way to turn it off. And that
- 20:11was that was a classic, wasn't it like a classic annoyance? I mean,
- 20:17early nineties Internet annoyances are the best because they were just they were just
- 20:22cringey. They weren't mildly threatening, your sinister, you know what I mean.
- 20:26Yeah, okay, yeah, I'm still waiting on this to load up.
- 20:33Okay, maybe that's okay, Maybe I will I search for a different
- 20:37source. Really, I don't know why I can't. Oh here it is
- 20:40here, it is You're right, it is here. It was like there
- 20:41was a bunch of ads and I thought it was okay, blocked or something.
- 20:45All right, let's go back. So the choreographer ex girlfriend, Yeah,
- 20:49I was confused by this. The choreographer ex girlfriend who accused Jonathan Majors
- 20:53of misdemeanor domestic violence back in March of twenty twenty three, is expected to
- 20:59surrender to the New York Police Department on Wednesday on a misdemeanor assault counter charge
- 21:03brought against her by the Marvel actor. Multiple sources have confirmed to Insider Major's
- 21:10recent accusations against Grace Jabbari, thirty years old, and Jabbari's original case against
- 21:15Major's both stemmed from their midnight quarrel in March on a Chinatown, Manhattan Stream
- 21:21Corner Street corner. Jabari has aled to the New York Police Department and Manhattan
- 21:26prosecutors that during the fight, Majors twisted and broke her finger and bloodied her
- 21:30ear by slapping her in the head. Majors later countered in a June police
- 21:34complaint that Jabari was the aggressor and that sidewalk in nightclub video shows that she
- 21:41was uninjured In the hours after the dispute. Major's alleges that Javari scratched at
- 21:45him and stole from him that night, then injured herself while alone in a
- 21:49drunken fall at his penthouse apartment. The news of Jabari's pending arrest comes on
- 21:56the eve of a Wednesday morning court hearing in Manhattan, where defeat lawyers and
- 22:00prosecutors may fight over the actress claims. But the Manhattan District Attorney's office buried
- 22:04in the New York Police Department investigation into the girlfriend's violent behavior on the night
- 22:10of the spat, prosecutors failed to include evidence of the case against Jabbari in
- 22:15what they turned over to defense, despite being on notice of the NYPD investigation
- 22:21into Jabbari's criminal conduct, as well as an I card and wanted flyer.
- 22:26Mayors' lawyer Priya Chawdry wrote in her motion to dismiss the case. Okay,
- 22:32this is one of the most confusing sentences. What that hell wrote this?
- 22:37Some sort of lawyer ai. I'm pretty sure what they're saying is that the
- 22:41prosecutors in the major's case, like the case against Majors, failed to include
- 22:48evidence against of the case against Jabarti. The way it's written, it almost
- 22:51sounds like the prosecutors in the Jabbarti Jabbari case failed to include evidence you know
- 22:59of the case again. Yeah, yeah, I understand why it's confusing,
- 23:02But this is because I don't think that it's gone. There's like a case
- 23:06in the other direction. Yet there's just been like this is his allegation basically,
- 23:12but like no, no, that he she is expected to yeah,
- 23:15she is expected to potentially go to jail. Charge is presented towards like not
- 23:21necessarily like like, well, let's keep going, we'll find out for sure.
- 23:23All right, No, I'm pretty sure you're right. This what I'm
- 23:26talking about here is that this was the prosecutors, the people who are going
- 23:33to prosecute Majors or Jabbari's lawyers failed to produce evidence and when they in turning
- 23:44it and what they turned over to the defense despite being on notice of the
- 23:48NYPD investigation into Jabari's criminal conduct, as well as an I card and wanted
- 23:52flyer. That's what she wrote, and ICR refers to an internal NYPD notification
- 23:59that the person is under investigation or wanted in connection to a crime. Additionally,
- 24:06Major's lawyer alleged that prosecutors turned a blind eye to Jabari's theft of Majors
- 24:11Rolex vintage walks, watch, and other luxury items that cost six to seven
- 24:17thousand dollars as described in Major's as June police complaint against his ex. That's
- 24:23a lot of money for a watch. In an email. Now, in
- 24:29Major's case file, Manhattan Prosecutor Aaron Tierney, So this is the prosecutor made
- 24:34it clear to Mayors's lawyer Chawdry that the DA's office would not prosecute Jabbari even
- 24:41if the NYPD brought charges against her. We intended a client to prosecute any
- 24:45charges brought by the New York Police Department. Yeah, against miss Grace Jabbari
- 24:52related to allegations made by Jonathan Majors regarding the incident that took place on March
- 24:57twenty third, twenty twenty three, Journey wrote in a September email. Now
- 25:02in the mysterious regulatory capture here, Yeah, so the p so what I'm
- 25:07getting from this and let's roll up. So now we know where uh mar
- 25:12uh Meredith's uh super chat was coming from. So the Metropolitan Police out of
- 25:21the UK have been cooperating with the n y C NYPD. Uh no,
- 25:26n y C d A. All right, So going back to this,
- 25:30the New York City District Attorney. But that's the police Department. Yes,
- 25:36who's declining to like, let's go back Manhattan Prosecutor Aaron Tierney. I guess
- 25:41that's the DA or a d A. Yes, well that the DA's office.
- 25:45But which So the New York Police Department is pursuing charges go back up
- 25:52and the DA's office the Manhattan DA's office. Mm hmmm what refuse will refuse
- 25:59to prosser acute those charges? Mm hm why? I don't know. Maybe
- 26:07maybe it says but yes, it says, I mean, maybe explains why,
- 26:11but it may not. It just says, we intend to decline to
- 26:15prosecute any charges brought by the New York Police Department against Miss Grace Jabari related
- 26:21to allegations made by Jonathan major As regarding the incident. The Manhattan DA's office
- 26:26did not elaborate on why they planned to decline to prosecute the NYPD charges against
- 26:32Jabari, so they're not elaborating. Jabari, a British National, met Majors
- 26:37thirty three, while working as a movement coach on the set of this year's
- 26:41ant Man in the wats Quantumnia that movie is just plagued with cancer. Apparently,
- 26:45she had planned to turn herself into the tenth Precinct Station House in Manhattan's
- 26:49Chelsea neighborhood on Tuesday, two sources familiar with the plan said, adding that
- 26:53a day long negotiation for her surrender fell through on Tuesday. She's now expected
- 26:59to turn herself in at the precinct sometime on Wednesday and to be released without
- 27:03having to submit to formal booking, meaning she won't be fingerprinted or held beyond
- 27:07the minimal time it will take to give her a summons that cites her charges
- 27:11criminal mischief and misdemeanor assault, the sources said. One new key detail concerning
- 27:17the March dispute was also revealed in the DA's most recent filing. It's been
- 27:21known that the dispute arose after Jabari spied a saucy text from another woman on
- 27:26Major's phone as they rode in a livery car through Lower Manhattan. The new
- 27:32filing reveals what the text said, which with I guess the text that she
- 27:36saw this is probably what started the fight read I wish I was kissing you
- 27:41right now. Another woman, a woman who said the text, was not
- 27:47identified. It is unknown if she was actor megod Good, who has accompanied
- 27:51Majors to his last two in person court dates. Oh I don't know who
- 27:55making good is. I know that name. Though. In their latest filing,
- 27:59prosecut also went on the attack against one of Major's key defense witnesses,
- 28:03the livery car driver, who witnessed much of the dispute. Major side has
- 28:08said the unidentified driver described Jabari to defense lawyers as a psycho girl who was
- 28:14the prime aggressor in the fight. They put psycho girl in quotes. The
- 28:18new filing suggests the driver may have suffered own domestic issues of his own.
- 28:22That's a weird sentence. The filing says. He told prosecutors that miss Jabari
- 28:26was acting like his wife does when she is angry with him. The filing
- 28:30said, Okay, so they're basically discrediting this man because he experienced abuse at
- 28:37the hands of his own wife. Yeah, and they're also they're also,
- 28:44I guess, justifying Jabari's abuse because of this alleged saucy text. Mm hm,
- 28:52who who to know? Who the heck knows what that was from?
- 28:56Oh no, that doesn't justify her abusing him. So I'm not where where
- 29:00are they gonna go with that? Like, you know, you you don't
- 29:04put hands on somebody for that and uh and then how is this discrediting this
- 29:12guy? She did? She did she's abusive, like min could you imagine
- 29:17like, let's imagine this was reversed. Oh this this this cab driver.
- 29:22This woman said that Jabbardi Uh you know, uh a major's was acting just
- 29:27like her husband. Oh she's compromised, you know, like what like you
- 29:33would say that a female female uh witness is not not reliable because she's experienced
- 29:41domestic abuse? Mm hmm are you working kidding me? Would that fly anywhere?
- 29:48No? No, not in most cases. Just unbelievable, and so
- 29:53we There's also a video basically denying her claims that of the of the what
- 30:00was bloody ear? She supposedly he slapped her and like cut her ear or
- 30:06like made her bleed out of her ear or something and broke her finger or
- 30:08twisted her. The only problem with that is that because the video shows after
- 30:14the incident she's fine. Yeah, I think that's what this is right here.
- 30:18Mm hmmm, so freaking grief. And then the DA is declining to
- 30:25prosecute this because you know woman, yeah, basically, I mean I don't
- 30:32know. So so things are more complicated than they appear to be and there
- 30:37is more investigation. But what has what has Grace Shabari lost? And what
- 30:44has Jonathan Major just lost? Okay, like just as a result of the
- 30:48allegations. Okay, I'm guessing Grace Parties has lost nothing. I I don't.
- 30:53I don't even know if she had much because she doesn't. She's not
- 30:56an actress. She works in in theater, but she's kind of like behind
- 31:02the scenes, right she's on the other side of the camera doing stuff.
- 31:04So that probably hasn't changed anything for her. And you know, but what
- 31:11happened to Jonathan MAJORX? So this is from October of twenty twenty Oh no,
- 31:17it was updated October third, twenty twenty three, but it was published
- 31:19in April. This was after the assault allegations. This is from the Daily
- 31:26Beast, So you know, you guys probably know that they have a bias.
- 31:30Jonathan Majors is beginning to face significant career consequences after being charged with multiple
- 31:34counts of assault for an alleged domestic dispute last month. Following the announcement yesterday
- 31:40that the Creed three actor was dropped by his management and pr firm, Majors
- 31:44has also been removed from a slew of upcoming projects, according to Deadline.
- 31:48Among them is a film adaptation of the Walter Mosley novel The Man in My
- 31:52Basement, which Majors was set to star in and executive produced under his company
- 31:57Tall Street Productions. To Deadline, a replacement for Major's is already underway.
- 32:02The ant Man three star was also gearing up to portray Otis Redding in an
- 32:06unannounced biopic titled Otis and Zelma. The film repeatedly had the full support of
- 32:12the artist's estate. Additionally, the Texas Rangers were planning to feature the thirty
- 32:16three year old in an ad campaign for the Major League Baseball team that has
- 32:21now been acxed. Major's reputation has been on a rapid decline since he was
- 32:24arrested on domestic violence charges in New York City on March twenty fifth, after
- 32:30a thirty year old woman said she was struck about the face with an open
- 32:32hand and left with a laceration behind her ear. Following his arrest, the
- 32:38United States Army suspended recruiting commercials starring this Emmy nominated actor. Yeah he wasn't
- 32:43like us Army ads too. It was also announced that he would no longer
- 32:46be attending this year's met Gala. Well, that's probably the best those things
- 32:52are. I wouldn't go to those as of now. The Lovecraft's Country Star.
- 32:55Oh so he was on that show. Lovecraft Country is still attached to
- 33:00a number of films, including an upcoming Spike Lee movie called The Understudy from
- 33:05Amazon Studios. He's also set to play basketball. Well, so he was.
- 33:07He lost some of his work a good chunk though, like something he
- 33:12was supposed to star in. And it's basically like kind of what happened to
- 33:15Johnny Depp, although I think Johnny Depp got it worse, but it did
- 33:21certainly harm his career. And frankly, I think that even if he,
- 33:24like, let's say that he proves his innocence, I don't think it's gonna
- 33:30matter. I think the damage is done. And this, you know,
- 33:34kind of brings me back to the thing that I talked about on yesterday's show,
- 33:38the call in show, which was Inquisitor, which was this like streamer,
- 33:44that these two people they tried to frame him and then trap him in
- 33:50a pedophilia scandal so that he would like get canceled and they would become more
- 33:57popular as a result like they would be able to raise their whole and he
- 34:00was so anxious about it and so bothered by even though he didn't do anything
- 34:05wrong, but he took his own life. And so this is like,
- 34:09this is how serious false allegations are, not just because of the potential social
- 34:15consequences and financial consequences, but also like the personal like you know, the
- 34:22trauma, the torture, the psychological torture that it entails, because it is
- 34:28like a struggle session. So anyway else do you want to say anything to
- 34:34that? Well, again, all based on the allegation of one woman who
- 34:40is looking like she was the aggressor man. And it's so funny because we
- 34:46still have those guys who are like, oh, a man should just know
- 34:50better. These are beta men problems. They should use their X ray vision
- 34:53to discover the women that aren't going to screw them over. You know,
- 34:58it's funny because I always ask guys say that things like that, Well,
- 35:00how do you figure out what woman's a bad egg? No answer, Yeah,
- 35:07no answer. It's just that somehow men are supposed to figure it out
- 35:13and if they get it wrong, they're contemptible. Well, this guy got
- 35:16it wrong, got it wrong in a big way. And not only did
- 35:21he apparently it's looking like didn't do anything to her, she actually was the
- 35:27aggressor and then got a successful false accusation against him and torpedoed a good portion
- 35:32of his career, Like is that fair? Really? And this isn't This
- 35:37isn't like the average Joe. This isn't some you know, guy who's you
- 35:43know, no much career. This is an actual, like high status man
- 35:50that can afford a six thousand dollars watch, just like Johnny Depp is a
- 35:53very high status man, even like Justice Kavanaugh, who is married with kids
- 36:00and you know, but he's like running for a Supreme Court justice position?
- 36:02Is that? And they all and they all are vulnerable to this, and
- 36:12like men without these guys resources are even more vulnerable. Like it's and it's
- 36:17it's just freaking ridiculous, Like what do you expect from men? What do
- 36:22you expect? Like are they are they going to be omnipotent? Are they
- 36:25able to like just be capable of scanning a woman's brain to figure out if
- 36:30they're going to turn into a psycher? That that resent the guy who's recently
- 36:35uh rectantly vindicated the i don't think he's a foot. You're talking about the
- 36:38you're talking about the pictures. Yeah, what's his last name? I forgot
- 36:45I covered the story on the news show. I'm sorry, I forgot the
- 36:47pictures name. I'm sure the chat knows. But yeah, that guy,
- 36:52he kept all the receipts. But he still doesn't have a job. Yeah,
- 37:00receipts. So he's he's not behind bars, but the damage is done
- 37:05to his reputation, you know, And there was recently I found out with
- 37:08this little we we watched a mini series called Ordeal by Innocence that it was
- 37:19remade in like the twenty eighteen and it was horrible. By the way,
- 37:22don't watch it. It's just I don't even know what the original is.
- 37:28It's an Agatha Christie story. Oh I see, of course I should.
- 37:30And it's they did They did a makeing like a I think nineteen eighty four.
- 37:36It's not bad. I mean, it's not fantastic. It's not something
- 37:38I would say, Oh, you gotta watch it, but it's not bad.
- 37:42It's sort of a satisfying like it's it's tapioca pudding. It's another it's
- 37:46a tapioca pudding, A mystery. But oh my god, the twenty eighteen
- 37:51remake god awful, Like the all of the memorable female characters that you know,
- 37:58some of them were sort of you get to they was sketchy or evil,
- 38:01but they're memorable and you know, they had presence and they had worth
- 38:07to the plot. And I remember this one scene, I think it was
- 38:09at the end where literally three women in the scene are all like having a
- 38:15fainting fit, like, yeah, this is the twenty eighteen remake. Like
- 38:21one is absolutely hysterical, the other one is like quivering in some kind of
- 38:24female victimhood his you know, like errors or something, you know, psychological
- 38:30problem, I don't know whatever, like three of them, and they replaced
- 38:34every one of those female characters that was actually interesting with a jello mold,
- 38:43like no, not jello mode a jello like just a quivering mess of nothing.
- 38:49And I've seen this more and more, like these female characters they don't
- 38:52have anything like they either are like miss Marvel and you know, I'm gonna
- 38:58blow up the world because I've taken off my patriarchy limitters, which basically is
- 39:02like any moral standard outside of herself, I guess, And like these overpowered
- 39:07psychos who aren't psycho because woman and and these like wilting creatures, I mean,
- 39:16and it doesn't seem to be any in between them. And admittedly I
- 39:20haven't been watching a hell of a lot of cinema, so maybe I'm wrong,
- 39:22but I become less and less enjoying any female character. Like there was
- 39:29this one Umbrella Academy. I learned trick. Oh my god, that's the
- 39:32one with Ellie ellen Page in it. Yeah, I learned a trick,
- 39:37which, incidentally, Ellen Page, you're not a man unless you're held to
- 39:39a man's standard. Yeah, Laurie, you don't get to talk about your
- 39:45feelings that have anybody care until you until people are like yeah, yeah,
- 39:50sure, show your feelings, man, but you have nothing to feel bad
- 39:52about, so shut up until that happens to you, you're not really a
- 39:57man. But regardless, I've I developed a trick with the Umbrella Academy.
- 40:01You know what I did? No, I mean, what to you do?
- 40:05I skipped every scene with a woman. Oh, infinitely improved, infinitely
- 40:09improved the watchability that I didn't lose anything in terms of the plot. Nothing
- 40:15that sounds like that sounds like a good use for AI to like literally through
- 40:21a whole video and take all the women out of it and then watch the
- 40:23movie. I don't want to. But here's the thing. Here's the thing.
- 40:27I don't want to take out women because they're women, because I like
- 40:30watching the older films with the female characters. They're fine, Like they really
- 40:35are interesting, like the most interesting characters and Evil under the Sun is are
- 40:37all the women. But Umbrella Academy, I could remove every scene with a
- 40:44woman in it, and the plot made perfect sense, and the character arcs
- 40:49were actually interesting, like you could just remove them. They weren't even like
- 40:52there there was no point to them at all, Like, how do you
- 40:55how do you think that this is empowerment when you can just remove who of
- 41:00your female characters from the story and nothing changes, like nothing, nothing,
- 41:07Like literally the female characters their subplot is what is this season's victimhood? And
- 41:14then they do that and it's just irrelevant to everything else. How are these
- 41:19female characters a victim this season? Let us explore their victimhood? And of
- 41:22course, because they're victims, they're not really fucking doing anything proactive or interesting.
- 41:28They're just being victimized by some shit. Oh god, damn anyway,
- 41:35Okay, that's just a little rant about Hollywood. We're talking about Hollywood.
- 41:38But anyway, so to get back onto the subject, and I apologize for
- 41:45this digression. I'm a storyteller. I want to talk about story related stuff.
- 41:50It always creeps in for me, creep into storytelling. Okay, So
- 41:53with the story Ordeal by Innocence, well, first of all, they they
- 41:59changed it so the the father was the killer instead of a woman, and
- 42:04he did it because he raped a maid or something, you know, the
- 42:07usual feminist clap trap. But anyway, they had to re cat re shoot
- 42:15a whole bunch of that show because one of the men was accused of rape
- 42:22by a couple of women, and eventually the police declined to press charges,
- 42:30and of course they made this strong and dance about oh, it's just statue
- 42:32of limitations. But apparently with at least one of them, he wasn't even
- 42:37in the state when it was alleged to have happened, and so it all
- 42:42fell apart, right, and they didn't even press charges. Guy lost his
- 42:46job, probably lost the whole bunch of additional you know, he did lose
- 42:51a whole bunch of additional work. Aside from that all based on another allegation.
- 42:55They didn't even get to the point of charges. Like this guy at
- 42:59least was charged. And I mean that very sarcastically when I say at least
- 43:02you know what I mean, but at least you know the police are like,
- 43:06Okay, we'll charge you with something. This other dude no charges and
- 43:10they're still screwed. Like how is the system fair at all? Yeah?
- 43:16Like what how is this not a nightmare? And how can you not see
- 43:21that men are disenfranchised in this system? Like it's so obvious at this point,
- 43:28And you know what if men's reward for doing anything like being getting any
- 43:35kind of status is this, why would men want to engage with the system
- 43:39that does this to them? Like why wouldn't they just want to walk out
- 43:44of it? You know, just do the bare minimum to keep themselves alive.
- 43:47Avoid any interaction with women as long as you know, outside of the
- 43:52very professional and always be recording and making sure you have a male chaperone with
- 43:58your or another person with you when you're ever you're interacting with them. Why
- 44:01wouldn't men do this? Like do you know and remember we listened to that
- 44:07Lauren Chen and uh Mikhail Peterson. I think it's Peterson. No, I
- 44:12don't know, maybe she's no, it's I think it's Mikhail No. But
- 44:19but like listening, this is like, how can you not feel any sympathy
- 44:22for the situation that men are in? This guy sound like he's been rail
- 44:27rated and he's lost a significant portion of his career for something that was looking
- 44:32like he was a victim of you know, she can't feel any sympathy for
- 44:36men for this? Oh yeah, yeah, anyway, so Halloween's coming up.
- 44:45I mean, we've been through the article and again, I just want
- 44:49for the My my final thought on this is I told him to wait.
- 44:52I told you to wait. I mean not that I don't think I think
- 44:54you guys are smart enough to know that when these stories come out, even
- 45:00if you don't like the person. I think, actually I think especially if
- 45:04you don't like them, you should wait, you know, make sure that
- 45:07the evidence is there before you start spreading this information around, because the media
- 45:13cannot be relied on to tell the truth. So I will see what happens.
- 45:17It's still it's like it's like maryag said, it's kind of a mess.
- 45:22We will see, but it doesn't look like things happen the way that
- 45:27the woman claims it doesn't look like it. So I guess, I guess
- 45:34we will find out Race Jabbari if she was lying or not. But I
- 45:40don't know because they're you know, it looks like they're not trying to press
- 45:45charges or not allow them to go through. So maybe he should just get
- 45:49away with stealing his watch and uh scratching him or whatever. Yeah, and
- 45:53then false accusing him, yeah, and then falter accusing him, and maybe
- 45:59he won't be able to clear his name. Because you're one of those guys.
- 46:02If you're one of those guys who's like, wow, these are beat
- 46:05beta male problems, like if you you just need to why don't you tell
- 46:09us what your fool proof method? Yeah for finding the the skank? Like
- 46:17how how do you how? How how do you figure that out? Like
- 46:21tell us, tell us, get veil us of your wisdom, you know,
- 46:23because I'm sure there's a lot of guys who would love to figure out
- 46:29how they can locate how can they figure out you know that a woman is
- 46:31going to screw them over. They'd love to know that. So if youre's
- 46:35some dude, it's like, oh, that's just beta male problems because I'm
- 46:37so awesome. I would never let a woman falsely accuse me of shit like
- 46:43I don't know how you would stop it, but whatever, I mean,
- 46:45if you're that kind of dude, just instead of posturing and expressing contempt through
- 46:50two men like this who get caught in this, tell us how you avoid
- 46:54crazy women. Tell us, yep, give us, give us the vail
- 46:59us of your wisdom, of your wisdoms. Okay, okay, uh so
- 47:07let me see anymore I got, I got some super chowds, so we're
- 47:10gonna we're gonna put Badger Chattle on the screen so we can do some super
- 47:15childs. Richard Biergus is five dollars and says, who were most of the
- 47:22accusers when the Salem witch trials slash hunts were going on? Again? Mostly
- 47:28accusers? Yeah, there were, there were females. And then I got
- 47:32another five dollars from Richard, and he says, did those accusers ever face
- 47:37consequences for accusing falsely? Have you heard about this new feminist reboot of the
- 47:42Frankenstein story where the resurrected creature is an adult woman that was the brain that
- 47:46has the brain of an infant implanted in her. Someone should have their hard
- 47:51drive checked. What what? No? Is that real? Are you pulling
- 47:57my leg? Are you joking? Did they? Would they actually make that?
- 48:01Because there's already a couple of Frankenstein films with women in them. There's
- 48:07the Bride of Frankenstein, there's Franken Hooker. Do you remember Franken Hooker?
- 48:12No? Oh no, that was like a budget film from like the eighties
- 48:15or something, you know, whyt to go on a date? Like it
- 48:20was? I never saw it, but because it looks it's like it's like
- 48:23really B B B movie quality stuff like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes or something,
- 48:30you know, but yeah, I know about I know about those like
- 48:35Bride of Frankenstein. Is uh. I think that's basically a B movie too.
- 48:38It's certainly not the original, but it's all right. So but yeah,
- 48:44thank you for the super chows. Richard really appreciate it. Alison,
- 48:46do you have any thank yous or or no? No, no further thank
- 48:51yous, just the super child and I want to remind everyone that's once again
- 48:54in time for our monthly fundraiser, which you can get at eat the Badger
- 48:58dot com slash support. Please do help us out so we can continue to
- 49:01bring you this enlightening content, give you previews of coming attractions in terms of
- 49:08societal coming attractions. Yeah, so I want to ask any thing you enjoy
- 49:14and also if you if you enjoy this content and you want to give us
- 49:16just a tip, you can do so it Feedbadger dot com slash just a
- 49:20tip. Tell us that we are not screaming into the void, that there's
- 49:22someone out there listening to us that appreciates what we have to say. Feed
- 49:25the Badger dot com slash just a tip. Okay, back to you,
- 49:28Brian. All Right, Well I was just gonna say, like we got
- 49:30a little a little I wanted to take a couple of minutes to talk a
- 49:36little bit about horror because it's it's almost Halloween, it's the spooky season.
- 49:42So I wanted to ask you because I haven't I want to watch a horror
- 49:45film maybe over the weekend or something. Do you have a favorite or some
- 49:50horror Do you like horror movies? Alison? I mean you like stories?
- 49:54Do you like horror films? I can't say that horror is really my thing?
- 50:00No? No, okay, so so you don't, Okay, So
- 50:02do you don't like horror films? Like if I asked you for a favor,
- 50:06you wouldn't be able to tell me even Yeah, or just like a
- 50:10horror film, you like the Exorcist, Altergeist, Invasion of the Body Snatches,
- 50:20Oh, the original, the original one from the fifties or the one
- 50:23from like the late seventies in the early eighties. Yeah, that one.
- 50:28Yeah, that that one. That's the one with Sutherland Sutherland, Donald Sutherland
- 50:32did it. He does the point in the yeah, the point in the
- 50:37ree. Yeah. Yeah. Invasion by Sension is good. I like that
- 50:42one. Okay, cool, So I got another super chow. See.
- 50:46Look, I bought us enough time for Richard to send us another one.
- 50:51Thank you, Richard, and he gives us five dollars and says, well,
- 50:53Caine had a mark on his forehead after he killed his brother Abel.
- 50:58I will say that if you do get a mark or doing evil, it
- 51:00does make things a bit easier of what the symbolism of the mark of Kine
- 51:06is. Anyway, I'm interested in that kind of stuff. Sounds good.
- 51:10I like, well, I like lots of horror films. I got I
- 51:15got Lindsay addicted to Friday The thirteenth like a couple of years ago or a
- 51:19few years back. Loved Friday thirteenth, Who does Jonathan? Yes, yeah,
- 51:24I mean they get they lose the plot like around part five, but
- 51:30like they're they're still. I watched them all, we watched them all together,
- 51:34so they're just they're it's kind of dumb fun I don't even really think
- 51:37they're scary. I like stuff like if you really want to get messed with.
- 51:42I remember Juwan messed me up like a Japanese horror film, The Ring
- 51:49messed me up. Have me like, Yeah, Baba Duke was pretty scary
- 51:53at points, and it's it's about parental abuse. I don't know if you've
- 51:59ever seen the Babba du but uh, it's about an abusive mother with a
- 52:04troubled son and it's sort of symbolic of her abuse of him. So yeah,
- 52:08Baba Duke is pretty good. There's a lot of Goat Slither is good.
- 52:14I don't know. Anyway, you guys tell us some of your favorite
- 52:16horror films in the comments. We're are you gonna do something on Sunday?
