- 1:22Speaker 4: Hey, number three, we did it well made it. The
- 1:26Speaker 4: third hour is always my favorite. I don't know why.
- 1:31Speaker 4: I think you listen up a little bit. Oh me,
- 1:34Speaker 4: what am I uptight about? I don't know. People get
- 1:37Speaker 4: under your skin right.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Now, though getting I means it. I just think it's
- 1:40Speaker 1: funny that you know there's whatever the narrative is, like,
- 1:45Speaker 1: once they get it, everybody gets it, and it's all
- 1:48Speaker 1: that you hear. Again. I'm not saying that drink might
- 1:51Speaker 1: even I'm not saying he's the top choice right now
- 1:54Speaker 1: for the ustry chop, but like to just continue to
- 1:56Speaker 1: hammer the guy when he's twenty eight and eight and
- 2:00Speaker 1: I know the record, Please don't send me the record
- 2:02Speaker 1: again against SEC teams with a winning record. I know
- 2:05Speaker 1: it better than I know my own child's names. At
- 2:08Speaker 1: this point. You got a lot of child I got
- 2:11Speaker 1: a lot of children, lots of children.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Tough to get those names straight, right, I get that,
- 2:15Speaker 4: But like to say, as a bad coach, it's just.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Infuriating to me. But whatever, we're Kennedy dealing him people here.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I don't know if you know that.
- 2:22Speaker 4: So let me throw another name out at you.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Nope, not doing it. I don't know.
- 2:27Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 2:28Speaker 1: You gotta say, and his record, don't give me his
- 2:30Speaker 1: record record? But what's his record? Against SEC opponents, will
- 2:34Speaker 1: winning record.
- 2:35Speaker 4: I'll say the record in the NFL wasn't great.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Oh, I know you're going, now, what about Brian Daboll.
- 2:43Speaker 4: I know people saying he's a lot to go to
- 2:45Speaker 4: Penn State. I think that's as alma monitor. Is that right?
- 2:49Speaker 4: Or he's got to connect Yes State somehow?
- 2:52Speaker 1: But I believe some.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Guy that has been a very good, offensive minded guy
- 2:56Speaker 4: in the professional leagues. It was also, oh yeah, offensive
- 2:59Speaker 4: coordinator twenty seventeen Alabama that won a national championship. So
- 3:04Speaker 4: he has experience in college. Of course, he's got experience
- 3:08Speaker 4: at the highest level. So I don't know, I hadn't
- 3:12Speaker 4: heard that name. But if LSU Tigers, if we do
- 3:15Speaker 4: believe rightfully so that it's a top three job and
- 3:18Speaker 4: it's oh, if it's Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, then everybody else,
- 3:23Speaker 4: and he wants to come to the college ranks, then
- 3:24Speaker 4: why not Rochester is his alma mater. Okay, well there
- 3:33Speaker 4: you go.
- 3:33Speaker 1: Yeah, he was a letterman and a two year starter
- 3:35Speaker 1: in football as a what position in Brian dave ball play?
- 3:38Speaker 1: Come on deep snow all right? Jordan safety? What safety? Yep?
- 3:50Speaker 4: At Rochester?
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yeah, man he's only got no.
- 3:54Speaker 4: No.
- 3:54Speaker 1: He was a volunteer assistant William and Mary in nineteen
- 3:57Speaker 1: ninety seven. He was a grad assistant at Michigan State
- 4:00Speaker 1: in ninety eight ninety nine, and then he was in
- 4:02Speaker 1: the NFL until twenty seventeen. That one year at Alabama.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Then it was off. It's a coordinator. Yeah, it's been
- 4:09Speaker 1: a while since he's been in in college football. Just
- 4:12Speaker 1: ask the question. Yeah, no, okay, no again.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Verge announces next LS your head coach, Brian day Ball.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Your feelings would be sad.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Yeah, not not enough experience in college. It would be nope, nope.
- 4:36Speaker 1: You know you gotta turned off too. It's gonna keep
- 4:38Speaker 1: doing it.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Yep, no turn off itself.
- 4:42Speaker 1: No, well they must have fixed that off. Okay, that's
- 4:46Speaker 1: for the auto off. I give it a.
- 4:52Speaker 4: That one.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I told you, I told you no. So no, okay, right, First,
- 5:00Speaker 1: do you know what record is against I do? I do.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I've been told my man brand is going to keep
- 5:08Speaker 1: me on top of it. Fell Brandon. What's up, brother?
- 5:11Speaker 1: How you doing?
- 5:12Speaker 4: Hey?
- 5:12Speaker 1: Living?
- 5:14Speaker 4: Oh that's good? All right? Hum? Oh what about Belichick?
- 5:26Speaker 4: It's the greatest head coach of all time in the NFL. Yeah, no,
- 5:31Speaker 4: it might be available.
- 5:33Speaker 1: No, no, no, uh again, Like what I'm looking for,
- 5:36Speaker 1: there's multiple people that could give it to you out there,
- 5:40Speaker 1: Brent Key, Kenny Dillingham. I think John Serrmol gives it
- 5:44Speaker 1: to you as well. Like somebody that's going to attack
- 5:47Speaker 1: this job with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. Somebody that
- 5:51Speaker 1: doesn't have to be convinced or beg to come here.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Somebody that is going to sprint here as soon as
- 5:56Speaker 1: they're offered the job. Somebody that is going to understand
- 5:59Speaker 1: you got to work your ass off at a place
- 6:02Speaker 1: like this or you'll get exposed incredibly fast. We have
- 6:05Speaker 1: all seen that you have to have a mindset of
- 6:11Speaker 1: being tough. You have to have a scheme of being tough.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You have to understand that every week you're going to
- 6:18Speaker 1: get the other team's very best. You have to understand
- 6:22Speaker 1: that you are somebody that people want to try to
- 6:25Speaker 1: hunt because you've been a standard for a long time,
- 6:28Speaker 1: for last twenty five years, right, you have to understand
- 6:31Speaker 1: all of those things. You got to understand Louisiana. And
- 6:33Speaker 1: I'm not talking about being from here. I don't care
- 6:35Speaker 1: if you went here. I don't care if you're from Louisiana.
- 6:37Speaker 1: But you have to understand Louisiana. You do, and I
- 6:41Speaker 1: was very hopeful that Brian Kelly did because some of
- 6:45Speaker 1: the things he said about the entire state when he
- 6:47Speaker 1: got here, I don't think by the end of it
- 6:49Speaker 1: he did. Now Coacho actually did understand it, because well,
- 6:52Speaker 1: Coacho was from here. Like I remember having so many
- 6:55Speaker 1: conversations with Coacho off the record, one on one about
- 6:59Speaker 1: like attacking North Louisiana, and it can't just be South Louisiana.
- 7:02Speaker 1: It's got to be the entire state. It's got to
- 7:04Speaker 1: be every corner of Louisiana. They remember those conversations and
- 7:09Speaker 1: like that is that's very factual, Like you do have
- 7:12Speaker 1: to attack the entire state. You have to understand the
- 7:14Speaker 1: entire state. The entire state's different. We all know that.
- 7:16Speaker 1: You'll tell me all the time how different it is.
- 7:18Speaker 1: But you have to understand that. You got to understand that.
- 7:21Speaker 1: You can't, you know, not recruit Shreveport, you can't not
- 7:24Speaker 1: recruit Monroe, you can't not recruit Lafayette, Lake Charles. It
- 7:27Speaker 1: can't just be one area. It's got to be the
- 7:30Speaker 1: entire state. Because there's talent in this entire state. Like
- 7:33Speaker 1: we can make all NFL teams from Shreveport, we can
- 7:37Speaker 1: make all NFL teams from Baton Rouge, from New Orleans,
- 7:40Speaker 1: from Lafayette, and they'd be pretty damn competitive because that's
- 7:43Speaker 1: what this state is. So like, that's what I want
- 7:47Speaker 1: from the next head coach. I really don't even it's
- 7:49Speaker 1: not even necessarily the analytics of this stat and that stat.
- 7:54Speaker 1: It's obviously if you're up for the LSU job, you've
- 7:57Speaker 1: got the resume. I just need to you. You got
- 8:00Speaker 1: to fit like those things because you were lacking in
- 8:03Speaker 1: those things. You need those things. That's what you have
- 8:05Speaker 1: to have to be successful here. M h.
- 8:08Speaker 4: And it's just a legit, genuine attitude, genuine personality, genuine
- 8:16Speaker 4: love for being a coach and wherever you are. And
- 8:21Speaker 4: you know, I said it, you know, multiple weeks ago.
- 8:23Speaker 4: It's like, be careful of the slick talkers. The smooth
- 8:26Speaker 4: talking coaches just doesn't mean doesn't mean being a good talker,
- 8:33Speaker 4: and a smooth talker is different to me. The smooth talker.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Some of that you can't really tell put your finger
- 8:38Speaker 4: on if they're like super genuine or not. But I
- 8:40Speaker 4: think all the people that we continuously talk about that
- 8:42Speaker 4: are up on that list are who they are. They
- 8:44Speaker 4: are very genuine people. Whether it's Lane, whether it's Dyli
- 8:49Speaker 4: and Ham, whether there's Drink, whether it's Brent Key. Certainly
- 8:53Speaker 4: some are all over down a two lane, like Baker,
- 8:56Speaker 4: Colvin Sheppard, like all these people that we continue to
- 8:58Speaker 4: talk about. You can tell who that person is. And
- 9:01Speaker 4: I think that and that's that's to me what a
- 9:03Speaker 4: fit is. It's like that person. You know exactly who
- 9:06Speaker 4: that person is. You know that when he says something,
- 9:08Speaker 4: he means it. And that's what I'm looking for because
- 9:12Speaker 4: I don't think we had that for a couple of years.
- 9:14Speaker 4: That's what that's And we don't need to keep like
- 9:16Speaker 4: beating the debt horse on this, so we don't need
- 9:17Speaker 4: to bring any of that stuff back and talk in
- 9:20Speaker 4: depth about it. But like I think that's all we want.
- 9:23Speaker 4: I think it'd be refreshing to have somebody like you
- 9:25Speaker 4: know where you stand. A player knows where they stand,
- 9:27Speaker 4: a coach knows where they stand with that head coach,
- 9:29Speaker 4: and certainly somebody that can handle it when their feet
- 9:33Speaker 4: is put to the fire because certainly here at LSU
- 9:36Speaker 4: there are high expectations and there's high reward if you
- 9:38Speaker 4: had to have success. So I don't know, it's all speculation, buddy, Yeah, Cody.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Cody asked a question Dillingham and Key or both at
- 9:48Speaker 1: their homeschools, would they really run here? That's what you
- 9:50Speaker 1: have to find out. So you have to find out.
- 9:52Speaker 1: That's the whole point.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Kiffin's not running here.
- 9:54Speaker 1: If you exactly if you talk to them, right, you
- 9:59Speaker 1: got to see where they're at and what this job
- 10:01Speaker 1: would mean to them. That's part of the process. Now
- 10:04Speaker 1: Brent's a little bit different because he played at Georgia Tech, right,
- 10:07Speaker 1: So like that's a difference from playing somewhere. We talked
- 10:11Speaker 1: about that yesterday, playing somewhere and just going to school somewhere.
- 10:14Speaker 1: So that's what you have to find out. Like, Okay,
- 10:17Speaker 1: you have that meeting, you set it up. When you're
- 10:20Speaker 1: having those discussions, you've got to see where their mindset is. Again,
- 10:25Speaker 1: Like that's Brahms at Louisville where he played, Like we
- 10:28Speaker 1: talked about it, like all these candidates that feel like
- 10:30Speaker 1: they would fit the job, well, they played somewhere and
- 10:34Speaker 1: look a lot of times, you know you got somebody
- 10:36Speaker 1: that played somewhere they might not be coaching at where
- 10:40Speaker 1: they played. We talked about that with summer all like
- 10:42Speaker 1: is some are all waiting Is Kentucky going to come open?
- 10:45Speaker 1: Are they going to move on from Mark Stoops? And
- 10:46Speaker 1: if they do, is that what John Somemrrol's waiting on.
- 10:49Speaker 1: He canceled his deal with Florida yesterday. We don't know that.
- 10:51Speaker 1: I know it means something, But that's what you have
- 10:53Speaker 1: to find out when you're having those meetings, when you're
- 10:56Speaker 1: having those discussions, if you get on a plane and
- 10:58Speaker 1: you go to timpe Arizona, if you go to Atlanta, Georgia,
- 11:01Speaker 1: Like that's what you have to find out.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Yeah, And you make a good point when you say,
- 11:08Speaker 4: like you want somebody that's gonna run here, They're not
- 11:10Speaker 4: going to think about it, They're not going to do it.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Like a little bit unrealistic this world. You can't really
- 11:17Speaker 4: do that. Like I'm saying, like Lane's certainly not running here.
- 11:19Speaker 4: He's kind of playing the field, which he should be,
- 11:22Speaker 4: but like he shouldn't be, Like, if you think about it,
- 11:24Speaker 4: Lane shouldn't be making decision right now anyway. He should
- 11:27Speaker 4: be focused on his team that's fighting for a national
- 11:30Speaker 4: championship right now, fighting for an SEC championship right now.
- 11:34Speaker 1: And that's what I said at the other day.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Like I think people thought I was crazy, But it's like,
- 11:39Speaker 4: do you want a coach that's gonna leave his team
- 11:42Speaker 4: high and dry in the middle of the season that's
- 11:45Speaker 4: playing for a national championship. I don't know, Like what
- 11:48Speaker 4: message does that send to everybody else. It's like we
- 11:53Speaker 4: talked about, like we talked about today, we get the
- 11:56Speaker 4: example of like, was it you Jordan? I think Jordan
- 11:58Speaker 4: gave the example. It's like, you know, you date a
- 12:03Speaker 4: girl that just cheated on her boyfriend, but you think
- 12:05Speaker 4: you're gonna you think it's you're not gonna cheat on you.
- 12:12Speaker 4: I don't know, it's just not a great Like if
- 12:15Speaker 4: he leaves his team, it's going to be an unprecedented
- 12:18Speaker 4: situation like something like this. I'm sure somebody can fact
- 12:22Speaker 4: check me in like they're gonna prove me wrong. But
- 12:23Speaker 4: I don't remember something like this ever happening. You leave
- 12:26Speaker 4: your team that's in a national championship hunt to go
- 12:29Speaker 4: to another team to maybe have the opportunity to be
- 12:32Speaker 4: in a national championship hunt.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Well, I mean not to the same effect because Ole
- 12:38Speaker 1: Miss is in the playoff right now. Notre Dame was
- 12:41Speaker 1: with an opportunity to make the playoff. THO one, Ryan
- 12:43Speaker 1: Kelly came here like mathematically, Notre Dame still had a
- 12:46Speaker 1: chance to make the playoff.
- 12:47Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm not talking about mathematically.
- 12:49Speaker 1: This isn't like well, I mean it wasn't crazy. I
- 12:51Speaker 1: mean they were a couple of spots away.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, Okay, I guess that's similar. It didn't work out.
- 12:57Speaker 4: So to my point, do you want that type of
- 12:59Speaker 4: coach it's going to leave their team? I don't know.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Now maybe the answer is yes. Maybe you're like, well,
- 13:05Speaker 4: where the We're the baddest be in town. No one's
- 13:08Speaker 4: gonna cheat on us.
- 13:13Speaker 3: You.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Oh, that was a lot of data in you right there. Yeah,
- 13:15Speaker 1: a lot of Dad energy. That was a lot of
- 13:18Speaker 1: Dad energy.
- 13:19Speaker 4: No cap, no cap.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Just stop yep, yeah stop. All right, we'll take great
- 13:27Speaker 1: more OTB when we come back here live from pro

- 15:07Speaker 1: You got to get the book.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Loot Yo Chances Welcome back. No, I didn't leave you
- 15:21Speaker 4: welcome back to got it?
- 15:23Speaker 1: Yeah. Uh, Unfortunately, we're not gonna be able to do
- 15:27Speaker 1: munchies today because we don't have the normal phone that
- 15:32Speaker 1: we use to bluetooth through the board that we use.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I believe that is in Nashville with a girl or Landra.
- 15:41Speaker 1: So not gonna be able to do mounchies today. Maybe
- 15:44Speaker 1: we can do it tomorrow.
- 15:46Speaker 4: It's a special special phone that does it too, so
- 15:50Speaker 4: it's hard to get two of those. It's it's I
- 15:54Speaker 4: was like at first, I was like, no, it's not.
- 15:56Speaker 4: It's made by Apple. It's called an iPhone with a
- 15:59Speaker 4: lower capital P.
- 16:03Speaker 1: So we apologize for that. I don't like that. I
- 16:05Speaker 1: don't like not having that ability. We've done that every week.
- 16:09Speaker 1: But maybe we can get that done tomorrow.
- 16:11Speaker 4: It's like the one thing I look forward to, man,
- 16:13Speaker 4: I mean there's lots of things. I take that wow,
- 16:17Speaker 4: lots of things something wow. Do you know what I
- 16:21Speaker 4: don't look forward to anymore? Talking head coaches?
- 16:29Speaker 1: Why you don't like getting the full breakdown of profiles?
- 16:37Speaker 4: Because speculation's fun.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Let me ask you, let me ask you this is
- 16:41Speaker 1: it going to be somebody that like? So we're talking
- 16:43Speaker 1: about kind of these Core four or five somebody else.
- 16:48Speaker 1: And we always talk about like the betting odds always
- 16:50Speaker 1: being wrong, and like, you know, Kenny Dillingham has become
- 16:53Speaker 1: in vogue because it's the latest name that's been the
- 16:58Speaker 1: top betting odds and he's a hell of football coach
- 17:00Speaker 1: thirty five years old. We've laid it out what he's
- 17:02Speaker 1: done with quarterbacks, what I think he could do here,
- 17:04Speaker 1: and he's quickly becoming my top choice I think to
- 17:08Speaker 1: be the next head coach.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Yep.
- 17:10Speaker 1: But the last twelve high profile head coaching hires, it
- 17:16Speaker 1: feels like they've all been somebody's kind of been off
- 17:19Speaker 1: the board of the betting odds. I mean, James Franklin
- 17:22Speaker 1: to Virginia Tech is like one of the few times
- 17:24Speaker 1: where it's like as soon as it kind of was
- 17:27Speaker 1: talking about the first time, is like, oh yeah, that
- 17:29Speaker 1: makes all of the sense, right, because like James Franklin's
- 17:33Speaker 1: always dominated Virginia in recruiting half as Penn State, you
- 17:37Speaker 1: know players, it felt like we're from Virginia, He's already
- 17:40Speaker 1: in all those things. Very few times is like you
- 17:43Speaker 1: say the one name and then the one name ends
- 17:45Speaker 1: up being the person.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Yeah, but there's been so much noise around Lane Kiffin.
- 17:50Speaker 4: It feels like everybody else is a dark horse. Everybody
- 17:53Speaker 4: else is like that could be that person that comes
- 17:55Speaker 4: out of nowhere because the noise over one person, like
- 17:59Speaker 4: to me, I don't feel like we've talked about dialing
- 18:01Speaker 4: him enough until the news.
- 18:02Speaker 1: About Sam Levitt broke.
- 18:03Speaker 4: Yeah, we haven't talked about you know, we've talked about
- 18:08Speaker 4: like the brat Keys and the Broms because of you know,
- 18:12Speaker 4: them being a good head coach and good you know,
- 18:15Speaker 4: certain metrics that you look for, I guess, but but
- 18:18Speaker 4: we hadn't talked about them because they're coaching at the
- 18:21Speaker 4: place they played, and they're loyal to and all these
- 18:24Speaker 4: different things. But like, this has all the makings of
- 18:26Speaker 4: just being someone out of the out of the blue,
- 18:29Speaker 4: like a like a Mickey Loomis first round draft pick,
- 18:31Speaker 4: like somebody you're like, huh, I go.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I will never ever, ever, ever ever forget. It was
- 18:41Speaker 1: like maybe my first year at the station we were
- 18:45Speaker 1: doing and we had just gotten here, we're doing a
- 18:48Speaker 1: draft party. I don't even I don't even remember where
- 18:51Speaker 1: it was, but they paired me and Handy together for like,
- 18:55Speaker 1: cause we know everybody does like two hours here, two hours,
- 18:57Speaker 1: two hours. And so it was me and Handy and
- 18:59Speaker 1: we had the same pick and they make a trade
- 19:01Speaker 1: and Hanny like sits up in his chair. He starts
- 19:04Speaker 1: like tapping me. He's so excited. Saints made a trade, Rachel,
- 19:07Speaker 1: and they're like Mark's dabbingport ed rusher utsa. And the
- 19:11Speaker 1: look on that man's face, the look I will literally
- 19:17Speaker 1: never in my life forget.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Oh that's so good.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I will never forget to look at it.
- 19:21Speaker 4: It's like excited.
- 19:22Speaker 1: You know, it was not it wasn't you for it,
- 19:25Speaker 1: It was not that so m.
- 19:27Speaker 4: Well, that's how we felt every year, I felt, Philip,
- 19:31Speaker 4: and I say we. I've only been a Saints fan
- 19:32Speaker 4: for about three months now, how's that going. Well, I
- 19:35Speaker 4: don't know if I'm a fan anymore.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Because they're playing back to your front runner. Mm hmmm.
- 19:46Speaker 4: No, I just like I see the pain and misery
- 19:49Speaker 4: that Saints fans have. I don't know if I want
- 19:52Speaker 4: any part of it or not. I just make a
- 19:54Speaker 4: decision right now, so this I could feel different. Next tumment, Yeah, I.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Told you when you started this, like you don't have
- 20:02Speaker 1: to be a fan. Like of the teams were about
- 20:05Speaker 1: like you can. Like I grew up Saints fan for sure,
- 20:11Speaker 1: like you know Von Dunbar and Craig Hayward.
- 20:16Speaker 4: But I wanted to buy in to the people that
- 20:17Speaker 4: are listening to want. I wanted to Tolliver.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, Billy Joe Tolliver, Billy Joe.
- 20:24Speaker 4: I got serious, fomo. You know, I don't want to
- 20:27Speaker 4: miss out with our the people that are great listeners,
- 20:31Speaker 4: the people of Louisiana.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I don't want to miss out on an amazing rebuild.
- 20:36Speaker 4: In a run. I want to be part of it.
- 20:38Speaker 4: But then in the same token, I'm also joining the misery.
- 20:45Speaker 4: So I don't know. It's always darkest before the dawn fluid. True,
- 20:50Speaker 4: winter is coming, No, it's already.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Here, and buddy, we're not in winter right now?
- 20:55Speaker 4: Is coming?
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yeah? It goes from Game of Thrones to olof Anything
- 21:00Speaker 1: about the summer, Yeah, yeah, famously. So just gotta trust
- 21:05Speaker 1: Mickey that's it. Just got to trust Mickey Limis to
- 21:07Speaker 1: make the right decision.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Gil said he's one of the best in the league,
- 21:10Speaker 4: longest tenured for sure for a reason. M h there's
- 21:15Speaker 4: a reason why you're not usually a long tenured gem.
- 21:19Speaker 1: True, he's basically the owner though, So to get back
- 21:25Speaker 1: to your favorite subject though, coaching searches. So Desmond Howard
- 21:32Speaker 1: put out a video on social media saying, don't be
- 21:36Speaker 1: surprised if the Texas job becomes open, because Steve Sarkisian
- 21:41Speaker 1: would you know, go elsewhere. And a lot of people
- 21:43Speaker 1: believe he'd be back in the NFL or he's been
- 21:45Speaker 1: an offensive coordinator before and maybe he would take one
- 21:48Speaker 1: of the NFL jobs, and Sarkisian was not a fan
- 21:52Speaker 1: of that. He had a rebuttal where he just I mean,
- 21:56Speaker 1: he came out like guns are blazing and was just
- 22:00Speaker 1: like if you got any question about me and where
- 22:02Speaker 1: I'm at, and blah blah, like hey, you come speak
- 22:05Speaker 1: to me. Chryst o' connie, our athletic director Christale Connie
- 22:08Speaker 1: actually quote tweeted the Desmond Howard tweet and said, this
- 22:12Speaker 1: is news to me. Thanks for the insight about Steve Sarkisian.
- 22:17Speaker 1: So he has tried to shut down all of the
- 22:21Speaker 1: you know, potential NFL rumors for him. I believe, like
- 22:24Speaker 1: I don't know, if you said, all the clowns or
- 22:26Speaker 1: bozos out there with the information, I don't know where
- 22:28Speaker 1: they get it. But Steve Sarkisian says he's staying put
- 22:31Speaker 1: in Texas because if well, if he didn't, if that is,
- 22:34Speaker 1: you know, something where he's trying to have a smoke,
- 22:37Speaker 1: Like if that job comes open, My god, you imagine
- 22:40Speaker 1: having Texas, LSU, Florida, Auburn, Penn State all open at
- 22:43Speaker 1: the same time.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Lane's ex wife and kids will be on another plane.
- 22:50Speaker 1: You think they'll give like their data birth and their socials. Again,
- 22:53Speaker 1: who always on the plane tail numbers?
- 22:55Speaker 4: My goodness, they better boost up that server that runs
- 22:58Speaker 4: that flight tracking web site. Can't crash again. We got
- 23:02Speaker 4: coach like coaching searchers are just starting to heat up.
- 23:05Speaker 4: What if it's on the flight track and left in
- 23:07Speaker 4: this season?
- 23:08Speaker 1: What if it's John sumrang to what you don't have
- 23:12Speaker 1: like to tell us he wouldn't be on a flight.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I wouldn't think. Yeah, just drive, I mean it's like
- 23:18Speaker 1: an hour. Yeah, that's the real question. If they go
- 23:22Speaker 1: talk to John Someraw, would they still get on a plane.
- 23:26Speaker 4: I think you go down there? Yeah for sure, Yeah,
- 23:31Speaker 4: you just go down there. Just you get in the car. Hey,
- 23:34Speaker 4: we'll send a bus for you. John, go down to
- 23:36Speaker 4: the interstate. We'll send you a sprinter van.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, you take a nice sprinter van. You
- 23:40Speaker 1: don't just take your car. Yeah, you get a driver
- 23:42Speaker 1: with a bathroom. Minute, it's one of the RV types,
- 23:46Speaker 1: be it restroom. There's not a bathroom there in a
- 23:50Speaker 1: water closet. So that way, like the flight Tracker website
- 23:55Speaker 1: wouldn't even know.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Still, not a lot of people talking about Blake. We
- 24:02Speaker 4: just stopped talking about Kevin Shephard. Go ahead, well, I
- 24:09Speaker 4: think they would both be really good options.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Look, I the two names that you just said, I
- 24:14Speaker 1: am never going to say they can't do something, no doubt.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I think our listeners know how we feel about those two.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I say to young men because I'm old, Yeah, but
- 24:27Speaker 1: you know they're they're full grown adults, adults like we
- 24:32Speaker 1: feel strongly about both those guys. And so that's that's
- 24:37Speaker 1: another thing that you really have to take into account.
- 24:42Speaker 1: What do you value? Are you valuing the resume? Are
- 24:45Speaker 1: you valuing what you're looking for? Because those can be
- 24:50Speaker 1: two different things. Now, if you find somebody with both,
- 24:53Speaker 1: that's utopia. That's what you try to get to. It
- 24:55Speaker 1: doesn't always happen in coaching surges. Sometimes you do have
- 24:58Speaker 1: to take a chance. Sometimes you do have to go
- 25:00Speaker 1: out on a limb a little bit, right, You got
- 25:03Speaker 1: to get into some murky water, if you will. So
- 25:07Speaker 1: that like the committee that's put together, like that's what
- 25:09Speaker 1: they have to in my opinion, established from the very
- 25:12Speaker 1: get go. What are we looking for? What are we
- 25:16Speaker 1: trying to get the guy with the resume? And look,
- 25:20Speaker 1: you just had a guy with a pretty good one.
- 25:22Speaker 1: M Are we trying to get a guy?
- 25:24Speaker 4: You know?
- 25:24Speaker 1: We're trying to like literally find like the the one
- 25:27Speaker 1: person that exists that can give us both? Are we
- 25:30Speaker 1: looking for somebody that has incredible potential that fits everything
- 25:33Speaker 1: that we need and checks every box that we have here?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Like those are like that has to be defined in
- 25:38Speaker 1: my opinion, like from the very get go, and then
- 25:40Speaker 1: it look if you have to alter off of that,
- 25:43Speaker 1: then you make an audible off of that.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Yeah. And like always there's a counter argument to everything.
- 25:51Speaker 4: There is a devil's advocate to every argument or person
- 25:54Speaker 4: you're gonna have, Like you keep getting hit with a
- 25:56Speaker 4: stat on drink. What what's the stat to say it?
- 25:58Speaker 4: You got to memorize the one with who drink?
- 26:01Speaker 1: Yeah, and sixteen against SEC teams with over five hundred
- 26:05Speaker 1: record I believe.
- 26:05Speaker 4: Is in sixteen. Yeah, okay, Elaine Kiffen. So someone said
- 26:11Speaker 4: it in the chat early. I don't remember who I apologized,
- 26:13Speaker 4: but I just like I just looked it up again
- 26:16Speaker 4: to confirmix. I was like Welane Kiffin's eleven and twenty
- 26:19Speaker 4: four versus top twenty five opponents. Like so you can,
- 26:24Speaker 4: you can give all the stats you want. There's coaches
- 26:27Speaker 4: with good records as coaches, you know, some years are good,
- 26:30Speaker 4: some years are bad. Like you got to look at
- 26:32Speaker 4: the overall body of work and their game management.
- 26:34Speaker 1: There.
- 26:35Speaker 4: They're whether the way they lead a group of men,
- 26:39Speaker 4: what they've done at a particular school. And I don't
- 26:42Speaker 4: think we would look at Eli or Lane Kiffen to
- 26:45Speaker 4: say they hadn't been successful just because they got these
- 26:47Speaker 4: losing records against a certain type of opponent. And you
- 26:50Speaker 4: can hand pick, you can cheerry pick stats and different
- 26:54Speaker 4: guys against top five. I mean, we've we've given the status.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I bet Brian Kellys was really good.
- 26:58Speaker 4: I bet Brian Kelly is incredible, and we've given this
- 27:00Speaker 4: that about Like you know, Jeff Brahm at Purdue of Louisville,
- 27:04Speaker 4: I think is four and one versus top five opponents.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Really good against top five opponents and always loses to
- 27:09Speaker 1: an underring team.
- 27:10Speaker 4: So instead of saying like the good part, you could
- 27:12Speaker 4: be like, well he's you know, well he's three and
- 27:14Speaker 4: twenty five against top twenty five and that's not out
- 27:16Speaker 4: of the top five or whatever. I don't know. You
- 27:18Speaker 4: can cherry pick stuff all you want. Yeah, it's all
- 27:21Speaker 4: about finding personality. It's all about finding a genuine person,
- 27:24Speaker 4: someone that can lead a room, someone that can attract
- 27:27Speaker 4: and attract recruits, not only in the state of Louisiana,
- 27:31Speaker 4: but the people that are already wearing an LSU helmet.
- 27:33Speaker 4: It's about bringing excitement, and certainly the guys that we're
- 27:37Speaker 4: all talking about can do it, but certainly Blake Baker
- 27:40Speaker 4: and Kevin Sheppard could do that part as well. Now
- 27:42Speaker 4: that being a head coach, they've never done it before,
- 27:44Speaker 4: so that's a big question mark. So I understand the
- 27:47Speaker 4: fan that's like LSU is a top job in the country.
- 27:50Speaker 1: We deserve somebody with that experience.
- 27:52Speaker 4: I get that, And but that's not to say that
- 27:55Speaker 4: if you are good at the process of finding a coach,
- 27:59Speaker 4: it's like being a recruiter, like if you can find
- 28:01Speaker 4: that person that you believe can do the job of
- 28:05Speaker 4: head coach even though he doesn't have that head coaching experience.
- 28:08Speaker 4: If you know, be on a shadow of a doubt
- 28:11Speaker 4: that a guy like Blake Baker, that a guy like
- 28:12Speaker 4: Kevin Sheppard can step in and solidify one side of
- 28:18Speaker 4: the team offense or defense, and put good people around
- 28:21Speaker 4: you and lead men and get the best out of
- 28:24Speaker 4: a human being. Every single week when a guy's not
- 28:28Speaker 4: feeling great, can you still get the best out of them?
- 28:30Speaker 4: Can you lead a group from a group full of people?
- 28:33Speaker 4: Can you talk to boosters? And can you get money
- 28:35Speaker 4: from all people from around the state and alumni that
- 28:39Speaker 4: want to come back?
- 28:39Speaker 1: Can you get that money? Can you secure all the
- 28:42Speaker 1: people around you?
- 28:43Speaker 4: Like, there's a lot to navigate, But if you believe
- 28:45Speaker 4: that that's that guy and you're hiring, and if you're
- 28:48Speaker 4: verge or if you're the committee or whatever, and you
- 28:49Speaker 4: feel strongly about somebody that's not currently a head coach,
- 28:52Speaker 4: I'm all in with that. Yeah. I can get behind that.
- 28:55Speaker 4: If you give me good reasons why you make that decision. Yep,
- 28:59Speaker 4: I am right there with you.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I think that you do have to lay out every plan,
- 29:03Speaker 1: you've had time, you've had extra time, you have to
- 29:05Speaker 1: lay it all out. And then as a committee five
- 29:08Speaker 1: six members, however many people are in that room, you
- 29:11Speaker 1: have got to figure out here is what we're looking for.
- 29:14Speaker 1: And when you start talking about people, how many of
- 29:16Speaker 1: these boxes do they check? How many do we still
- 29:19Speaker 1: have question marks about?
- 29:21Speaker 4: Right?
- 29:21Speaker 1: And that's why I do really really appreciate the fact
- 29:26Speaker 1: that you have an athletic director that does understand this
- 29:32Speaker 1: place probably as well as anybody. Right. And I know
- 29:36Speaker 1: this is Verge his first time to be an athletic director,
- 29:38Speaker 1: but in this instance, in this you know coaching hire.
- 29:44Speaker 1: The man played for Lawship football. He's from Louisiana, he's
- 29:47Speaker 1: been for thirty years in different capacity. You don't think
- 29:51Speaker 1: that Vergon knows what a successful LSU football coach looks like.
- 29:55Speaker 1: Like he seemed good, he seemed bad, He's seen everywhere
- 29:58Speaker 1: in between. So like with Verge leading it, and then
- 30:02Speaker 1: you have a committee and you've got other you know,
- 30:03Speaker 1: guys that have played LSU football that are own this committee.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Once you define it, because again I think he's a
- 30:10Speaker 1: great person to define what it is, then then you
- 30:13Speaker 1: attack it with like your full force. Yeah, but I
- 30:17Speaker 1: think defining what you're looking for first is very.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Important in anything in life, whether you're hiring a head
- 30:23Speaker 4: coach or you're hiring an accountant, you're hiring a lot like
- 30:27Speaker 4: whatever it is, defining what you're looking for is priority
- 30:31Speaker 4: number one. So if they can do that, and like
- 30:34Speaker 4: you said, thank god for Verge. I mean, how many
- 30:36Speaker 4: people in the with the climate of what was happening
- 30:39Speaker 4: politically and around the LSU, you know, firing and Brian Kelly,
- 30:44Speaker 4: the fire Scott Wood where the governor comments like what
- 30:48Speaker 4: decent athletic director was choosing to come to LSU outside
- 30:52Speaker 4: of this program? So thank god we had a very capable, smart,
- 30:56Speaker 4: loyal person in our own in our own backyard right
- 31:00Speaker 4: here to take that job. So let's just you know,
- 31:04Speaker 4: we're all cheering for Verge, we're all cheering for the committee.
- 31:06Speaker 4: I hope they get it right. So nobody knows what's
- 31:08Speaker 4: all speculation so we can. We could keep beating a
- 31:10Speaker 4: dead horse over everything, and it's fun to do. It's
- 31:12Speaker 4: fun to speculate, it's fun to guess, but it's just
- 31:14Speaker 4: like guessing the weather right now.
- 31:15Speaker 1: So yeah, uh, inside the Chad Joe said, yall said
- 31:18Speaker 1: the same thing about Dave Randa. Now look at him.
- 31:20Speaker 1: I don't know if you're talking to us with the chat,
- 31:21Speaker 1: I hadn't really been able to keep up.
- 31:24Speaker 3: No.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Look, I love Dave. I think Dave's a great human
- 31:27Speaker 1: being and he's a very very good defensive play caller.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Day's personality and being a head coach was always something
- 31:36Speaker 1: that was questioned. Yep, Dave and Blake don't have the
- 31:40Speaker 1: same personality. Dave and Kelvin don't have the same personality
- 31:44Speaker 1: to say the least. Yep. Like when I talked to
- 31:46Speaker 1: Dave Randa, like I interviewed him like three four weeks ago,
- 31:49Speaker 1: and every time I do, I'm like, man, I don't
- 31:52Speaker 1: know what he just said. It sounded really smart. I
- 31:54Speaker 1: don't really I don't follow like what he's just said.
- 31:57Speaker 1: It sounds like it sound a good I don't really know. Uh,
- 32:00Speaker 1: just a very deep thinker. And and here's.
- 32:03Speaker 4: The deal, Like with that different personality, Like you got
- 32:05Speaker 4: to be a little bit more, you got to be
- 32:06Speaker 4: a little bit more outgoing, you got to be a
- 32:07Speaker 4: little bit more excited. And you can't fake energy. You
- 32:12Speaker 4: can't fake authentic AUTHENTICSM authenticism authenticism. Yep, then we nailed
- 32:17Speaker 4: it third times a charm. You can't fake all that.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I know. You can't fake being authentic. That's what I'm saying,
- 32:24Speaker 1: all right.
- 32:24Speaker 4: So like Dave, like he would have authy yeah, I think,
- 32:28Speaker 4: but I think we were saying it right.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Don't group that.
- 32:32Speaker 4: You can't fake that stuff, right, So, like Dave would
- 32:35Speaker 4: always like, you have to be a little bit more energetic.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Well, like Blake's got that.
- 32:39Speaker 4: He might have even had like too much of it,
- 32:41Speaker 4: like doing push up and stuff because he dropped like
- 32:43Speaker 4: interception attempts on the sideline during priory.
- 32:45Speaker 1: He might have to like pull a little bit.
- 32:48Speaker 4: He might have to pull all that, but it's easier
- 32:49Speaker 4: to pull back on that than have to like go
- 32:51Speaker 4: out there and fake energy. Well, he's got that in spades. Authenticism,
- 32:56Speaker 4: Oh my god, you're you are.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I'm about to pull a bit Madison on you.
- 33:00Speaker 4: If you don't start, I think authenticism's right, that's not
- 33:03Speaker 4: as authenticity. I won't look it up.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Please do We are all now dumber for here?
- 33:11Speaker 4: It's a word. Excuse me, authenticism, excuse me for known
- 33:16Speaker 4: English language perfectly.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Get a wait to get that definition when we come

- 34:17Speaker 4: at the Flynn fam and cannot wait. So if you've
- 34:19Speaker 4: been wanting to pull a trigger on a pool, make
- 34:21Speaker 4: sure do not hesitate. Give them a call and get
- 34:23Speaker 4: that conversation start at Russell Pools dot.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Com from the locker room to the airwaves. It's off
- 34:43Speaker 3: the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 35:00Speaker 4: Go ahead, Mat gohad, what said you talking about? All right?
- 35:04Speaker 4: I was, yeah, go ahead, about authenticism being a real word.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Yeah, go ahead.
- 35:10Speaker 4: Yeah. It is a belief in authenticity, okay, the belief
- 35:16Speaker 4: in the superiority of the authentic over the inauthentic, or
- 35:20Speaker 4: a commitment to being true to one's own values, beliefs
- 35:23Speaker 4: and personality. Authenticism.
- 35:26Speaker 1: It's a great word.
- 35:26Speaker 4: And I tried to type it in the chat autocorrect
- 35:29Speaker 4: did try to change it, but Google confirms it's a word.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Now.
- 35:33Speaker 4: I also said authenticism, don't believe that one's a word.
- 35:38Speaker 4: Let's check that one out.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, as many as you tried to say to
- 35:41Speaker 1: get there, like you eventually said a word.
- 35:43Speaker 4: I'm sure that like that scene in uh find an
- 35:47Speaker 4: Emao where the teachers like, yeah, don't hurt yourself, kid, Yeah,
- 35:50Speaker 4: I hurt my brain a little bit. But if you
- 35:52Speaker 4: if you come to the show to get a better
- 35:55Speaker 4: grasp of the English language, probably not the show for you.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Go check out another pie yes or something. After the show,
- 36:02Speaker 4: of course, So sorry, but not sorry. Authenticism. Use it.
- 36:09Speaker 4: It's your SAT vocabulary word of the day. Did you
- 36:16Speaker 4: see the story about Ceedee Lamb.
- 36:18Speaker 1: I did not.
- 36:20Speaker 4: Well Monday morning. Yeah, they played Monday night. They were
- 36:25Speaker 4: in Las Vegas, Las Vegas, famously known for partying. He
- 36:30Speaker 4: was saying throwing up I think in the lobby in
- 36:32Speaker 4: the morning of their game on Monday night. I don't
- 36:36Speaker 4: know if he had a stomach bug at all, not sure.
- 36:39Speaker 4: So we kind of asked a question yesterday. I think
- 36:41Speaker 4: Ceedee Lamb and George Pickens both had to sit on
- 36:44Speaker 4: the bench the entire first drive of the game.
- 36:48Speaker 1: So what real discipline that is?
- 36:50Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll show you. Well, that's what Like that goes
- 36:54Speaker 4: to show you that life isn't fair. Sometimes people used
- 36:57Speaker 4: to get mad, like when they were like they were
- 37:00Speaker 4: on the practice squad or like a special team or
- 37:03Speaker 4: something like that, if you missed a meeting or you're
- 37:05Speaker 4: late to a meeting, like sometimes you get cut for that.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Sometimes you get real disciplined. Well, if you're starting quarterback
- 37:11Speaker 4: or somebody or a star player is late. For me,
- 37:13Speaker 4: it's just like hey, man, try to show up on
- 37:15Speaker 4: time and then you know, people are like, that's not fair,
- 37:17Speaker 4: that's not fire. Well, yeah, of course it's not fair,
- 37:21Speaker 4: Like you're not that guy. Sorry, be better. You can
- 37:24Speaker 4: be late to a meeting every now and then, well
- 37:27Speaker 4: you can get you can get a touch of Vegas
- 37:29Speaker 4: and kind of maybe go out and miss a curfew,
- 37:32Speaker 4: be late, maybe throw up in the lobby the morning
- 37:34Speaker 4: of your game, Monday night football game, because heck, you
- 37:37Speaker 4: got you know, eleven hours, ten hours to shake it off,
- 37:40Speaker 4: and then you can go out and you know, catch
- 37:42Speaker 4: for eighty yards in the game, fis and catch for
- 37:44Speaker 4: a hundred and.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Fifty game, so they dominated the game. So it's kind
- 37:47Speaker 1: of like you maybe go out the Thursday before the
- 37:49Speaker 1: Florida game, had a pretty good day that day, right,
- 37:52Speaker 1: So right, maybe we're running something here.
- 37:54Speaker 4: I had a buddy of mine that was a same
- 37:57Speaker 4: buddy I talked about, who's a fourth rounder, who was
- 37:59Speaker 4: you know, ten eleven year player, play five or six
- 38:02Speaker 4: Pro Bowls whatever, all pro right guard. And we would
- 38:04Speaker 4: go out every Friday night up to a local establishment
- 38:09Speaker 4: and you know, have some do sekis, have a couple
- 38:11Speaker 4: of adult bevies. Yeah, sometimes had more than more than
- 38:16Speaker 4: most people should.
- 38:18Speaker 1: So it happens.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Okay, it happens every now and then, and he would
- 38:23Speaker 4: always have a good game. And then we didn't go
- 38:25Speaker 4: out one time the second year and in the second year,
- 38:28Speaker 4: maybe it was a third year playing, it was the
- 38:29Speaker 4: first time we never did it on Friday, and.
- 38:31Speaker 1: He gave up his first second of his career. Yeah,
- 38:33Speaker 1: and he's like, well, not doing that again. Yeah, making
- 38:36Speaker 1: sure beers get deleted.
- 38:37Speaker 4: Yeah, doing lots of them.
- 38:40Speaker 1: You know, it's funny that that's a football mindset, like
- 38:44Speaker 1: CD Lamb if he was out in Vegas whatever, Like
- 38:48Speaker 1: we're grown adults that still have bedcheck. On every road
- 38:52Speaker 1: game that we were ever on, we have bet check.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Like when I tell my MLB NBA friends that, like
- 38:57Speaker 1: when I was playing, they're like wait a minute, what right,
- 38:59Speaker 1: They're like yeah, wait, as professionals, you all have bedcheck,
- 39:04Speaker 1: like people come and check your rooms. Like yeah, yeah,
- 39:06Speaker 1: Like it's not that's not no. I was like, you
- 39:07Speaker 1: don't have that baseball They're like no, no, Like what
- 39:11Speaker 1: They're like, get out of the city. We do whatever
- 39:13Speaker 1: we want. We get ourselves to the game and we
- 39:15Speaker 1: play and then we do whatever we want. Tom Like wait, what,
- 39:18Speaker 1: Like you don't have to be somewhere. Like we had
- 39:20Speaker 1: security outside of every hotel, like you couldn't leave and
- 39:24Speaker 1: they literally knock on your door and check this, make
- 39:27Speaker 1: sure as a thirty year old grown man, that you're
- 39:29Speaker 1: in for the night. Yeah. No, we don't have anything
- 39:33Speaker 1: like that, Matt. I don't even think they had that.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Like in college baseball, Yeah, that's wild.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Were you ever on a team that got they gave
- 39:41Speaker 4: you in the team dining the night before game, they
- 39:44Speaker 4: had beers there for you. Yes, yeah, we had a couple. Yeah,
- 39:47Speaker 4: we could. We could put down a couple. It was
- 39:49Speaker 4: good antioxidants.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it wasn't like if we were if we were
- 39:53Speaker 1: on the road and we took a lot of obviously
- 39:55Speaker 1: long chips because we were on the West coast, if
- 39:57Speaker 1: we went anywhere that was like you know we go
- 39:59Speaker 1: in fron than the Friday night snack, we would.
- 40:02Speaker 4: Yeaheah, well we would go and we would do. So
- 40:04Speaker 4: you go on an away game and you're free until
- 40:06Speaker 4: like eight or nine at night, so you get there,
- 40:08Speaker 4: you get there at three, four, whatever in the afternoon,
- 40:10Speaker 4: kind of depend on the length of the flight. And
- 40:12Speaker 4: so we would always go the linemen and quarterbacks, right
- 40:15Speaker 4: so I'll go to dinner and that's where you know,
- 40:17Speaker 4: you would famously go get a big steak dinner and
- 40:19Speaker 4: you play like credit card roulette, so like you know,
- 40:21Speaker 4: or rookies would get stuck with a huge bill or whatever.
- 40:24Speaker 4: It's usually the night before and it's just it's not
- 40:26Speaker 4: a big deal. It's like you go and you know what,
- 40:28Speaker 4: are a couple of bottles of wine, You enjoy yourself
- 40:30Speaker 4: or whatever, and then you go play a game the
- 40:31Speaker 4: next day.
- 40:32Speaker 1: It's a little bit different. I mean, you're you're you're
- 40:34Speaker 1: grown men at that point. You see, we took a
- 40:36Speaker 1: lot of two day trips, and so we always had
- 40:38Speaker 1: Friday night to go, oh yeah, enjoy it a little
- 40:40Speaker 1: bit more, yeah than a Saturday. Sure, But in the
- 40:43Speaker 1: middle of the.
- 40:43Speaker 4: You're playing baseball players, like if you're a pitcher or
- 40:45Speaker 4: something like I knew a lot of pitchers or knew
- 40:47Speaker 4: of a lot of pitchers that they would have condos
- 40:50Speaker 4: and the cities that were in there is a a division.
- 40:53Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, like in therefore, the teams they played a lot,
- 40:56Speaker 4: they'd have condos in the downtown of that area. Because
- 40:59Speaker 4: they're pictures, they're they're working like one, hey, yeah, three
- 41:02Speaker 4: game series or whatever. So they have their own condos
- 41:05Speaker 4: at like three or four different cities. Yeah, we had
- 41:07Speaker 4: a picture for the Padres that had had the same thing.
- 41:10Speaker 4: He had one in he had one in Denver, one
- 41:13Speaker 4: in San Francisco. I don't think he had one in Arizona,
- 41:15Speaker 4: but he had one in those two cities, right, Like
- 41:17Speaker 4: he had a place and he's like, yeah, I mean
- 41:19Speaker 4: I'm there all the time, but I don't ever do
- 41:21Speaker 4: anything like chances are like I'm on a pitch in
- 41:23Speaker 4: the series.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm also thirty, you know, true true bed check.
- 41:29Speaker 4: Yeah. Can you imagine having to like check forty two
- 41:32Speaker 4: year old or forty one year old Aaron Rodgers?
- 41:34Speaker 1: Hey you in here? Hey Hey Aaron, Hey a rod.
- 41:38Speaker 4: I know I'm twenty eight checking on you. You're alone in there,
