- 1:22Speaker 4: Like so many of our boys, head to Chevy dot

- 1:29Speaker 4: off road road trips, off road adventures, to tailgates, whatever
- 1:34Speaker 4: your thing is, it all starts with a Chevy truck TJ.
- 1:38Speaker 4: It's absolute pleasure to have you on here.
- 1:39Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:39Speaker 1: I appreciate you.
- 1:41Speaker 4: I see you're cozy too. You got the lame back
- 1:44Speaker 4: a little bit, just out.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Yeah, So tell me about these lucis because.
- 1:53Speaker 4: I lock in, I know, but they're different colors fla.
- 2:00Speaker 4: So yeah, you walked in on the other side and
- 2:03Speaker 4: you said, I got my coffee, I got my z
- 2:06Speaker 4: words all ready to go. And we said, well we do.
- 2:09Speaker 4: At the same time we said whoa. And then we
- 2:12Speaker 4: brought these little boys out and we said, we have
- 2:14Speaker 4: this conversation the bus. These lucies, Man, you pop.
- 2:17Speaker 1: On with your teeth, so you do you do? Pop them?
- 2:19Speaker 4: Yeah, you can, don't have to. It hits you about
- 2:22Speaker 4: twenty minutes down the road.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Pop to those bad boys. Get some nicotine in your system. Faster,
- 2:27Speaker 3: little you're right here. Well those are four they go
- 2:31Speaker 3: to twelve.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, give me another one. Oh I got one,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I got one.
- 2:35Speaker 3: You got a whole little deal there.
- 2:36Speaker 6: Huh.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I like it though. They have a little trash thing
- 2:38Speaker 1: on the top.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Yeah, they thought of everything they did.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 2:41Speaker 4: And the company you're supporting right now, that's that's a
- 2:45Speaker 4: big tobacco company. That's fortune five hundred.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Big guys.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Step on the little guys. You don't know what kind
- 2:49Speaker 4: of chemicals are in those things with Lucy. The guy
- 2:52Speaker 4: who started this is an astrophysicist. His dad looks into
- 2:55Speaker 4: the eyes and says, listen, you're fucking your entire life
- 2:57Speaker 4: of Bud.
- 2:58Speaker 3: You're ruinause you went to Harvard. He's like, you're set
- 3:00Speaker 3: up your Harvard degree by getting you know, a degree
- 3:02Speaker 3: in what was it, astrophysiology?
- 3:06Speaker 1: Nicotine?
- 3:08Speaker 3: I guess.
- 3:08Speaker 4: So they end up starting this company. So this is
- 3:10Speaker 4: like essentially the mom and pop shop of nicotine. Nicotine.
- 3:13Speaker 3: You're supporting a small business just by putting.
- 3:15Speaker 1: That in your lip right now. I do like small businesses. Yeah,
- 3:18Speaker 1: that's huge.
- 3:19Speaker 4: You want to talk football first, you want to talk
- 3:20Speaker 4: about something else?
- 3:21Speaker 1: Whatever? You guys got a right.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Trump was almost assassinated two days ago, So yeah, are
- 3:27Speaker 4: you Republican or Democrats? Does that they make you happy
- 3:29Speaker 4: when you saw that?
- 3:30Speaker 3: Or sad?
- 3:31Speaker 1: I mean I think that's just a sad thing in general.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I mean, no matter what side of the aisle you're on,
- 3:37Speaker 1: I think you know, that's an issue in the country obviously.
- 3:41Speaker 1: It's just they're so divided in any sense. And yeah,
- 3:45Speaker 1: that was definitely a tough one. Are you going to
- 3:47Speaker 1: play it right now?
- 3:49Speaker 3: Yeah? That was That's a wild scene. I think there's
- 3:51Speaker 3: a few different angles, right, a few different angles. It's
- 3:54Speaker 3: put on the tinfoil hats, assassination attempt, inside job, or
- 3:59Speaker 3: completely set up move by the Trump campaign. I think
- 4:02Speaker 3: there's three. There's three, there's three layers, three layers out there,
- 4:05Speaker 3: you know.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Right, Well, hold on before we do that, I think
- 4:08Speaker 4: we should also both give the insurance policily being like, yes,
- 4:11Speaker 4: that was wrong.
- 4:13Speaker 3: No one should have done that.
- 4:14Speaker 4: No one should have done that.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It was wrong.
- 4:16Speaker 3: We need to not fight that way. It's just embarrassing
- 4:18Speaker 3: that we're at that, that we've gotten to this point.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Yeah, there hasn't been an assassination attempt since what Bush for years?
- 4:25Speaker 3: Forty three years. That's crazy, I thought, But there was
- 4:29Speaker 3: an assassination attempt on O. G. Bush.
- 4:32Speaker 4: But I might be speaking out of my ass. I
- 4:33Speaker 4: kind of saw that a tweet and I kind of
- 4:35Speaker 4: took that information, kept it and didn't look into it.
- 4:37Speaker 7: Twitter, Right, there's probably an a tent, but it just yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 4: And there's levels of badass. And I think this is
- 4:44Speaker 4: the pinnacle of badass. After getting shot, like say what
- 4:47Speaker 4: you want, Repubby Demi, you do whatever you want. But
- 4:50Speaker 4: when it comes to Trump and getting Graymi, getting getting
- 4:54Speaker 4: grays in the side of the ear, standing up and
- 4:57Speaker 4: saying I want my shoes and says wait wait and
- 4:59Speaker 4: then wait wait for puts the fist up as everyone's
- 5:02Speaker 4: changing at USA, and then the iconic photo of him
- 5:05Speaker 4: getting going off the stage with the flag in the background.
- 5:09Speaker 3: That is badass.
- 5:10Speaker 1: It couldn't happen more perfectly. I mean, like, keep with
- 5:13Speaker 1: everything that he led up to. I mean, that was insane, dude.
- 5:16Speaker 3: And if that's an assassination attempt, if he just doesn't move,
- 5:20Speaker 3: his head's dead.
- 5:22Speaker 1: That's a temper shot, you know what I mean?
- 5:24Speaker 4: Yes, he's dead, I know, And there is I mean,
- 5:27Speaker 4: it is fun to jump into the conspiracies of every
- 5:31Speaker 4: single situation, right, do we really lent on the moon
- 5:33Speaker 4: nine to eleven? Lizard people, all those types of things?
- 5:36Speaker 4: What's Colorado Airport about? But This is interesting because there
- 5:39Speaker 4: was a video that came out. I wonder if you
- 5:41Speaker 4: can find it Stirm Daddy, But there is a video
- 5:43Speaker 4: of the sniper to stage right to the left of
- 5:47Speaker 4: the camera view of Trump speaking, and his scope is
- 5:50Speaker 4: where his gun is point a certain direction. He looks
- 5:53Speaker 4: up and then you hear the gunshots go up, and
- 5:55Speaker 4: he gets back down and pulls the trigger. So that
- 5:58Speaker 4: tells you he saw something suspicious going on. Anytime you
- 6:01Speaker 4: see a guy you don't know with a gun on
- 6:02Speaker 4: top of a roof and the gun is pulling it
- 6:04Speaker 4: towards the area you're suposed to protecting, probably pull the
- 6:06Speaker 4: trigger sooner rather than later. But it brings in the
- 6:08Speaker 4: idea that.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I think a little bit of an inside job. Do
- 6:12Speaker 3: you think it was a set up by Trump? I
- 6:13Speaker 3: think it was both a real assassination attempt, because you
- 6:16Speaker 3: got you got, you got all the you check all
- 6:18Speaker 3: the boxes, right, Like young white kid with a rifle
- 6:22Speaker 3: on top of a roof like that seems what usually happens.
- 6:26Speaker 3: That seems to be what usually happens. Then you got
- 6:30Speaker 3: what you're explaining with the sniper being up there seeing
- 6:32Speaker 3: something and getting back on his gun like the dude,
- 6:34Speaker 3: people pedestrians are able to take photos of this kid,
- 6:38Speaker 3: and you're saying the Secret Service or all the people
- 6:40Speaker 3: that are on this job was not able to see
- 6:43Speaker 3: this kid or understand what was happening. And there was
- 6:46Speaker 3: another interview after the whole thing. It was this cat
- 6:48Speaker 3: with like a red visory, Yes, with the fake he
- 6:51Speaker 3: was trying to tell the police, and they didn't seem
- 6:54Speaker 3: to do anything about it.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I think there's a little bit Well there's been videos
- 6:57Speaker 1: of like people filming the guy walk up the or
- 7:01Speaker 1: whatever and then right, yeah, calling the local police like hey,
- 7:07Speaker 1: there's a guy up there on the right. Like, I
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't know how that doesn't get relayed.
- 7:11Speaker 3: But we've all seen Shooter, Like what's the other what's
- 7:15Speaker 3: the what's the Netflix series as well?
- 7:17Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 7:19Speaker 3: Is it called Shooter? No, there's a there was a
- 7:21Speaker 3: Netflix series. It's like the president dies, so the independent
- 7:25Speaker 3: was the vice president. He actually takes over for the country. Yeah,
- 7:31Speaker 3: designated survivor. Yeah, good pool JP and uh, dude, these
- 7:35Speaker 3: teams that are on this stuff, like you don't miss
- 7:37Speaker 3: something like that at all, whatsoever in the ability Like
- 7:41Speaker 3: I want to say, somebody talked about him in a
- 7:43Speaker 3: press conference. One time if somebody maybe having a gun,
- 7:45Speaker 3: they had him off the stage within seconds. This one,
- 7:48Speaker 3: it seemed like people weren't back, like yes, some people
- 7:51Speaker 3: still standing up. I don't know.
- 7:52Speaker 1: It just seems a little fishy to the boy.
- 7:53Speaker 4: And there's that guy. There's a guy sitting behind Trump.
- 7:56Speaker 4: He's like wearing a black like fedora, and he's got
- 7:59Speaker 4: curly hair. And when everybody starts a duck, he doesn't
- 8:01Speaker 4: move at all. And then he mouths something and people
- 8:03Speaker 4: are saying he's mouthing like now you know yeah or
- 8:06Speaker 4: something like that. Something crazy, something crazy, something crazy. Those
- 8:09Speaker 4: are the things that I love to like wonder what
- 8:11Speaker 4: this means. Yeah, that guy right there in the top
- 8:14Speaker 4: left corner of that photo and he's like holding his
- 8:17Speaker 4: photo and then do you see people like kind of
- 8:19Speaker 4: start ducking. He just goes like this doesn't move at all.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Then if you play the game of total set up
- 8:25Speaker 3: job by the Trump campaign, like Trump, he's been in
- 8:27Speaker 3: the WW he's been in the ring, he's beat a
- 8:29Speaker 3: vincent man, Like what if he just drops the ground
- 8:31Speaker 3: us some shots and he just takes a blade to
- 8:32Speaker 3: his ear to me insanely genius chest move. If you're
- 8:37Speaker 3: watching it from a bird's eye view, just you know,
- 8:39Speaker 3: being like a commentator on.
- 8:40Speaker 4: The whole thing, right, because it is. Yeah, it's a
- 8:43Speaker 4: it's a horrible thing would happen. But now everyone is
- 8:45Speaker 4: basically saying that there's no way this guy doesn't run.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Away with it. Yeah. And what was hilarious too, is
- 8:50Speaker 3: you sat back and this me this video is going
- 8:52Speaker 3: around like what Joe Biden would have to do to
- 8:55Speaker 3: get back in the race of Trump. And it's Vince
- 8:56Speaker 3: McMahon getting in this limo and then the limo just
- 8:59Speaker 3: blows up. Oh yeah, so Lucy.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Breakers are great, great segue, Yeah, great, pouch to chew on.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Well we didn't get a thought though. You think it's
- 9:16Speaker 4: inside job and here right there, you're not gonna get
- 9:20Speaker 4: in trouble.
- 9:21Speaker 1: No, no, I'm not. Yeah, I mean politics, Yeah, it's tough.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I mean it goes either.
- 9:27Speaker 3: World pretty quickly.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Yeah, no doubt he will text you. I'm sure. No,
- 9:32Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know that it was an inside job.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I think it was definitely a little sketchy on how
- 9:38Speaker 1: the whole thing happened, But you know, I think it is.
- 9:43Speaker 1: It's it's kind of been a lead up. You know,
- 9:44Speaker 1: over the last whatever twelve years since Obama gotten out
- 9:49Speaker 1: of office, you know, the last three elections have kind
- 9:51Speaker 1: of been a you know, they talk about it as
- 9:54Speaker 1: a do or die thing, and that's like that's tough
- 9:57Speaker 1: to you know, somebody's gonna take that real, you know. So,
- 10:01Speaker 1: I mean it's it's it's hard to continue to the
- 10:04Speaker 1: rhetoric of, oh, it's a do or die election and
- 10:07Speaker 1: assume that nobody's going to do something drastic, you know,
- 10:10Speaker 1: which is kind of crazy. So I think just the
- 10:14Speaker 1: rhetoric in in the United States and in America, like
- 10:18Speaker 1: it's an election, you know, go vote, rather than oh,
- 10:21Speaker 1: this is the end of democracy or this is the
- 10:24Speaker 1: end of you know, civilization if if one guy wins
- 10:28Speaker 1: or the other and that goes both ways. But like
- 10:31Speaker 1: it's kind of crazy, the the amount of like people
- 10:35Speaker 1: are surprised now that like this happened, and it's like
- 10:37Speaker 1: it is surprising and it should be surprising, but like
- 10:40Speaker 1: there's been such a lead up to it. It's crazy.
- 10:43Speaker 3: And it's also in the in the weird corner of
- 10:45Speaker 3: it not being surprising because you know, there are people,
- 10:47Speaker 3: there are people that are like, you know, wish you would.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Have got shot, Oh yeah, which is crazy.
- 10:50Speaker 3: There's people that wish that wish Biden would tip over,
- 10:53Speaker 3: yeah before it all before the election happens, right, And
- 10:56Speaker 3: I'm just saying like, I feel like those are those
- 10:57Speaker 3: are things that people out in the deep dark owners
- 11:00Speaker 3: of the internet talk about. I don't think that.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Deep and dark, and I feel like a lot of
- 11:03Speaker 4: people are like damn yeah.
- 11:04Speaker 3: But nobody actively comes out and says shit like that.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you know what I mean.
- 11:08Speaker 3: It's like when something like that happens, you'll be seeing
- 11:10Speaker 3: stuff pop up on like, oh man, wish they would
- 11:12Speaker 3: have wish he would have died or something like that,
- 11:14Speaker 3: which is crazy. Yeah. I think we're in a unique
- 11:16Speaker 3: spot too, because you really, the next time Trump speaks,
- 11:18Speaker 3: obviously everybody's gonna be tuned in. But a what a
- 11:20Speaker 3: spot to where it's like everybody is just denouncing all
- 11:23Speaker 3: this violence and where we've gotten to and all this
- 11:24Speaker 3: device on this because that's where it's been. I feel
- 11:26Speaker 3: like the middle, the majority of the middle, now are
- 11:29Speaker 3: you know, speaking up a little bit more just because
- 11:32Speaker 3: you feel like you're shunned if you talk about one
- 11:33Speaker 3: or the other. Because it's such a doe or die,
- 11:35Speaker 3: You'll make it believe it's such a do or die situation.
- 11:38Speaker 3: It's like this twenty year old he was twelve when
- 11:40Speaker 3: Trump first got elected. It's like, wonder what's driving or
- 11:42Speaker 3: what's cultivated his mind unless it's like, you know, there's
- 11:46Speaker 3: the kookie inside job to where he was just kind
- 11:48Speaker 3: of like the kid who was going to do it
- 11:49Speaker 3: and they just took advantage of some mentally and stable cat.
- 11:52Speaker 3: But if it was his own doing, he was twelve
- 11:55Speaker 3: when Trump first got elected, Like, what is been going
- 11:58Speaker 3: on in his mind up until that point to where
- 11:59Speaker 3: he thinks he has to climb a room and try
- 12:00Speaker 3: to pull a trigger on the president? The vaccine to
- 12:02Speaker 3: be trying to remember that way with the.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Boys, Yeah, dude, podcasts.
- 12:11Speaker 3: For the Boys, by the Boy, by the Boys.
- 12:13Speaker 4: I don't know, dude, the older I get. I just
- 12:15Speaker 4: feel like it's there's all that deep what do they
- 12:19Speaker 4: call it deep? The deep state? Deep's fucking on top
- 12:22Speaker 4: of it. Today he took his alpha brain because he's.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Part of cute.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Yeah, dude, the deep state, all that stuff, it just
- 12:27Speaker 4: seems realer and realer to me.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Yeah, there's other people behind the black rocks. The roths childs.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Everyone's kind of running things from the background. Yeah, because how.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Could how else could get so corrupt? And now there's
- 12:39Speaker 4: so much more information, so many more videos being taken
- 12:41Speaker 4: that they's just being found out faster, and it just
- 12:43Speaker 4: so quickly goes by in the in the the media
- 12:46Speaker 4: cycle of twenty four hours. I've really found myself thirty
- 12:49Speaker 4: two years of age, kind of believing what people are saying,
- 12:52Speaker 4: kind of believing the deep state stuff.
- 12:54Speaker 3: But then you got people who are scared to even
- 12:55Speaker 3: talk about it. It's like I thought, uh, was it Garrett?
- 12:58Speaker 3: Was it Garrett Wilson. Oh, Sauce Gardener? Yeah, my fault,
- 13:02Speaker 3: My fault, Sauce. But Sauce is he put up a
- 13:04Speaker 3: couple tweets that are like real things. He almost doesn't
- 13:07Speaker 3: He's trying to like learn about stuff and back, you know,
- 13:09Speaker 3: why does your vote have to be deemed as something
- 13:11Speaker 3: that is like, yo, you hate me now because I'm
- 13:14Speaker 3: siding with let's say Trump or let's say Biden. But
- 13:16Speaker 3: he wrote up a couple of tweets of like, you know,
- 13:18Speaker 3: you got new people who are coming to the fold
- 13:19Speaker 3: that are trying to potentially educate themselves and people are
- 13:22Speaker 3: like nervous to even do so or even talk about it,
- 13:25Speaker 3: because you get you get shunned immediately when you bring
- 13:27Speaker 3: it up on what you might be on one side
- 13:28Speaker 3: or the other. It's like it's like such a side thing,
- 13:31Speaker 3: which is a bad place to begin. It's obviously resulted
- 13:34Speaker 3: in an assassination attempt. Yeah, can you bring up if
- 13:39Speaker 3: you just go to his timeline. I think it's the
- 13:41Speaker 3: most recent ones.
- 13:46Speaker 1: I like Fallen Sauce.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Man, I like, yeah, I like Fallen Sauce.
- 13:52Speaker 6: He did.
- 13:52Speaker 3: I saw that, and I was thinking in my head,
- 13:54Speaker 3: Oh no, I hope the boys don't see this.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Keep going, keep going, keeps throwing.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you're it's right at the top. Man, is that it? Well? Okay,
- 14:14Speaker 3: so so bring up that initial when he did before
- 14:16Speaker 3: he quote tweeted, okay, it says in all honesty, I
- 14:20Speaker 3: never voted before and am unfamiliar with politics. But I
- 14:22Speaker 3: do think it's odd to judge people based on who
- 14:24Speaker 3: they vote for. Maybe it's not odd, and I just
- 14:26Speaker 3: don't understand because I'm not familiar with it. Somebody fill
- 14:29Speaker 3: me in. I appreciate that authenticity because I do feel
- 14:31Speaker 3: like a lot of especially with Newcats, coming to the
- 14:33Speaker 3: fold in politics, it's like, yo, what is why are
- 14:35Speaker 3: people just so on edge all the time? It says,
- 14:38Speaker 3: I say this because it's no such thing as as
- 14:40Speaker 3: perfect people, which means there will never be a perfect president.
- 14:43Speaker 3: It'll always be things that people don't like about what
- 14:45Speaker 3: a president does and things they dislike. So people could
- 14:48Speaker 3: support a president based on one good thing that he
- 14:50Speaker 3: or she will change in disregard the not so good things.
- 14:53Speaker 3: So it's not fair to judge someone based on who
- 14:55Speaker 3: they vote for, because that doesn't mean they have the
- 14:57Speaker 3: same exact morales and values as the president. So I
- 15:02Speaker 3: thought it was articular Will Yeah, yeah, ye shut out.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Yeah that's real. I mean you can't hardly even have
- 15:12Speaker 1: a conversation with yeah that, like, you know, have different opinions,
- 15:15Speaker 1: because then it's just like it becomes a heated match,
- 15:18Speaker 1: and it's like that's not I mean, you can have
- 15:20Speaker 1: a different opinion, and I can have a different opinion,
- 15:22Speaker 1: but like we're still we can still be boys, you know, Like,
- 15:25Speaker 1: but that's almost not a thing anymore.
- 15:27Speaker 3: I find myself just leaning into more of the humor side,
- 15:30Speaker 3: because you know, you're not if you're trying to have
- 15:31Speaker 3: like real conversations, especially on the Internet, like they're just
- 15:34Speaker 3: not going to you know, you're not going to solve anything.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Then you can't win.
- 15:37Speaker 3: You're not going to change anybody's mind either, right. Yeah, people
- 15:39Speaker 3: are too like walled off to all that.
- 15:42Speaker 4: It's crazy that like when we were kids, you just
- 15:45Speaker 4: like you don't talk about religion or politics at the
- 15:47Speaker 4: dinner table. And I feel like that's all it's talked
- 15:48Speaker 4: about now, especially when it's an election year, It's like
- 15:52Speaker 4: everyone's talking about this, that and the other.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I'll destroy some families too, I mean like, yeah, destroy
- 15:59Speaker 1: union people. You can't even talk about it. It's just bands.
- 16:05Speaker 3: What do you got pulled up here?
- 16:07Speaker 7: We got the conspiracy theory Iceberg going on over here,
- 16:11Speaker 7: bringing up airport a couple of those things.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I've always loved the Iceberg man. This Iceberg photo
- 16:19Speaker 3: is always with the way we've seen the Iceberg. It's
- 16:21Speaker 3: just all about your character and what you see on Sundays. Yeah,
- 16:24Speaker 3: what's below it?
- 16:25Speaker 4: Yeah, what's mirror world?
- 16:28Speaker 6: That we are actually living in the mirror world, and
- 16:32Speaker 6: that when we see the mirror.
- 16:33Speaker 3: That and can you give JP the mic? WHOA?
- 16:37Speaker 6: The mirror world is like when you go into your
- 16:40Speaker 6: bathroom and you look in your reflection that what you're
- 16:42Speaker 6: seeing is actually the real world and you are the
- 16:46Speaker 6: mirror world. So you don't know where you exist.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Hey do you see uh Neil de Grosse Tyson talk about.
- 16:55Speaker 3: That's a scientist, right? Yeah, he was essentially saying.
- 16:59Speaker 4: And one clip that I saw, so I could we
- 17:01Speaker 4: think this out of context that it's very hard to
- 17:05Speaker 4: argue that we're not in an assimilation. Very difficult. Someone's
- 17:09Speaker 4: not play a game on us, and chaos is always happening.
- 17:12Speaker 4: And the only time chaos stops happening is when the
- 17:15Speaker 4: player playing our game goes to the bathroom or goes
- 17:17Speaker 4: to sleep.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Yeah, have you had anybody seen the new TV show
- 17:20Speaker 3: Dark Matter?
- 17:22Speaker 1: No?
- 17:22Speaker 3: I've heard about it though some here, but he's had
- 17:25Speaker 3: like four words like yo, what about dude? A dark Matter?
- 17:31Speaker 3: So you go into this black box, right, you inject yourself.
- 17:33Speaker 3: You go into this black box. But it's like this
- 17:35Speaker 3: unlimited universe of like doors you can go into and
- 17:39Speaker 3: depending on the thoughts and feelings you have, that's what
- 17:41Speaker 3: you're about to open into another world, like another another world.
- 17:46Speaker 3: And so in this like somebody who was traveling with
- 17:49Speaker 3: him stayed in the world and said, I'm not gonna
- 17:50Speaker 3: go back in the box with you because I'm gonna
- 17:52Speaker 3: start a new life here because they're in a new universe.
- 17:54Speaker 3: They're in a new world, the universe they want to
- 17:55Speaker 3: be right. And then toward the end of it, it's
- 17:57Speaker 3: like this guy who's a great actor, he's the he,
- 18:00Speaker 3: the teacher, and the warrior to where all of these
- 18:03Speaker 3: same cats make it to the same world he's in,
- 18:06Speaker 3: but just all the different realities that we could be
- 18:08Speaker 3: potentially living in. It's a it's an awesome show. It's
- 18:10Speaker 3: a good show. Sounds like a little bit of a
- 18:13Speaker 3: Black Mirror. Yes, I haven't watched Black Marror. Is that
- 18:15Speaker 3: where you get to choose like.
- 18:16Speaker 1: The Black Mirrors?
- 18:18Speaker 4: Or no, no, no, no, it's an episode, but yeah, it's episode.
- 18:21Speaker 4: Each episode is a new.
- 18:22Speaker 1: So you can just go through the episodes. You can
- 18:23Speaker 1: start at like twenty or whatever.
- 18:26Speaker 4: And it's all like different plots, different ideas, but like
- 18:28Speaker 4: a lot of it is like Black Male. A lot
- 18:30Speaker 4: that I've seen is like Black Male. Different universes, different theories,
- 18:34Speaker 4: all kind of coming together, and it's wild way and no.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Matter where you start, they both have a starting point
- 18:39Speaker 3: and what you end on is like an ending to that.
- 18:42Speaker 3: It's yeah, yeah, it's it's final, like there's no.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Yeah, like an hour and a half.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Episodes and you really your mind goes into guy, yeah,
- 18:51Speaker 4: they're like a little but goes back to conspiracy theories.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Are people truly this original ideas or are they being
- 18:58Speaker 4: fed these ideas and being a small little hints to
- 19:01Speaker 4: what's really going on in the world people.
- 19:06Speaker 3: It makes me, It makes me want to throw back
- 19:07Speaker 3: a couple of cans the th Yeah, for real, have
- 19:10Speaker 3: some conversation. This reminds me about Jared Allen. We had
- 19:13Speaker 3: Jared Allen on and we just talked like conspiracy theories,
- 19:15Speaker 3: go back, quick, go back? What is uh such a good.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Yeah, the Elysium Network was catching my brain.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Elysium Network was that I don't know, I just saw
- 19:29Speaker 3: it on that that next you know, Jared Allen is
- 19:34Speaker 3: the fucking man though.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yeah, he is big into the curling.
- 19:37Speaker 4: He's I think he started a company, yeah where.
- 19:40Speaker 1: We did like a curling event with him, like you
- 19:43Speaker 1: half yeah yeah, so him and him me George, I mean,
- 19:47Speaker 1: he's like the top of it. But then George and
- 19:49Speaker 1: I are kind of like putting it on social and
- 19:52Speaker 1: like kind of doing a bunch of stuff with it. Okay,
- 19:54Speaker 1: it's huge, it's sweet sport. I mean we're like we
- 19:56Speaker 1: go to the T line over here all the time
- 19:59Speaker 1: and go throw some rocks man.
- 20:01Speaker 3: And you guys, it's hard.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Uh it would be, it would It's not that bad.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I mean, like you the first time he go is
- 20:09Speaker 1: hard because like you don't quite understand like how hard
- 20:13Speaker 1: to release it or how hard to push off. But
- 20:15Speaker 1: like you go two three times and then you'd be solid.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I mean you're an athlete, like and I coordinations. Yeah
- 20:21Speaker 1: you know.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys like creating a little team that's gonna
- 20:24Speaker 3: like travel around in the off season.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Uh maybe, I mean George and I kind of go
- 20:27Speaker 1: George me Rob and we we kind of go over there,
- 20:31Speaker 1: and and Trent Taylor. We all have a little team
- 20:35Speaker 1: and go play with the like leagues and they just
- 20:38Speaker 1: fit us in every once in a while, like Wednesday
- 20:40Speaker 1: nights and go over there. Try to get the tea
- 20:43Speaker 1: line pretty sure.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Uh, jars Bear, Jared's trying to like start a league.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Yeah he is. Yeah, Yeah, he's doing.
- 20:49Speaker 4: All that talked about Busted being a part of that too,
- 20:54Speaker 4: get on it. Yeah, but it's hard to think about
- 20:57Speaker 4: like curling from a TV standpoint, like compete with something
- 21:00Speaker 4: like pickleball.
- 21:01Speaker 1: It would be like like eight THEO you know what
- 21:03Speaker 1: I mean, Like they have the bags and everything, Like I.
- 21:06Speaker 4: Mean, I would love to commentate THEO.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that would be a lot of fun.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Bags are starting to pick up. I feel like popular.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I saw the day Kwon Jones he was on a squad.
- 21:14Speaker 3: He was he was hitting some.
- 21:19Speaker 1: The same team.
- 21:19Speaker 4: He's like one of the like the main guys in
- 21:21Speaker 4: that like Las Vegas League. Yeah, because he had ustuff
- 21:23Speaker 4: about doing that, and I think late last year about
- 21:27Speaker 4: coming and doing that. I think we would get body
- 21:29Speaker 4: bag though.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Maybe those guys are insane though, like they're like block
- 21:33Speaker 1: in the front, like that is an actual talent. Yeah.
- 21:37Speaker 1: They have the slick and the sticky side like it goes,
- 21:40Speaker 1: it goes.
- 21:41Speaker 4: I didn't even know that existed till you just said
- 21:43Speaker 4: that just now. Really, yeah, I thought they were both
- 21:45Speaker 4: the same thing.
- 21:46Speaker 3: My brother Cody, when we do our corn cornhole tournament
- 21:49Speaker 3: on during the four July, he comes with his own
- 21:51Speaker 3: set of bags and nobody else can play with him,
- 21:53Speaker 3: No can catch them. Yeah, nobody else can play. That
- 21:55Speaker 3: is a very cody with He's like competing, you know,
- 21:59Speaker 3: obviously to win.
- 22:00Speaker 1: He did not win this year.
- 22:01Speaker 4: Oh really, no you got if you're the only guy
- 22:03Speaker 4: to bring your own back to.
- 22:08Speaker 3: It is over? Is that what you want to do
- 22:10Speaker 3: when you're done?
- 22:12Speaker 1: I don't know what I want to do. I want
- 22:13Speaker 1: to curl, I mean that'll be part of it, probably,
- 22:16Speaker 1: I don't know what I'll do. You play a lot
- 22:18Speaker 1: of golf, curl?
- 22:19Speaker 3: Have you curled since the knee injury?
- 22:21Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, a couple months ago we were out there. Yeah.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I mean it really hasn't like limited me too much
- 22:28Speaker 1: in that fact, Like I'm still like a normal person.
- 22:31Speaker 1: After like twelve weeks was when I could kind of
- 22:34Speaker 1: start getting back into doing stuff, Like I started playing
- 22:37Speaker 1: golf because it's my right knee, it's not the left,
- 22:39Speaker 1: so like I'm not like torquing on it. But yeah,
- 22:42Speaker 1: I mean it's kind of like a normal person. Now.
- 22:45Speaker 1: How hasn't he been doing just great? Yeah? I mean
- 22:50Speaker 1: we're running, doing doing a lot of changing directions stuff.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Like it's honestly, I mean, you know how it is
- 22:57Speaker 1: like the first like when you get injured, like your
- 23:00Speaker 1: head goes into a dark place. It's like it is
- 23:03Speaker 1: and like you're not really sure like what you're going
- 23:07Speaker 1: to do or how you're gonna be after and then
- 23:09Speaker 1: you know, like once I got to probably fifteen weeks,
- 23:13Speaker 1: when like twelve, they start running, letting me run. And
- 23:16Speaker 1: I got to give credit obviously to a lot of
- 23:18Speaker 1: the pets up in Minnesota, like they've been incredible, like
- 23:21Speaker 1: super like, hey, when you're ready is when we'll start stuff,
- 23:24Speaker 1: like when you're ready to do this, And that's been
- 23:26Speaker 1: perfect because it's like at twelve weeks, I wasn't on
- 23:29Speaker 1: the field, you know, like I was starting to run
- 23:32Speaker 1: in the pool, and then I transitioned to the alter
- 23:34Speaker 1: G and then I transitioned to the field, and that
- 23:36Speaker 1: was like the transition period and rather than hammering on
- 23:40Speaker 1: it at twelve weeks and going to the field and
- 23:43Speaker 1: like just hobbling around like it was a straight progression,
- 23:46Speaker 1: and then like my confidence goes up and everything's been
- 23:50Speaker 1: like a smooth transition. So there's been a lot of
- 23:52Speaker 1: people helping. And now with j Hole, like it's it's
- 23:56Speaker 1: like regular training, you know, like Jay's the best and
- 23:59Speaker 1: he does all this stuff and cutting everything, doing doing
- 24:03Speaker 1: some routes and like top of the route stuff and
- 24:05Speaker 1: getting in it. And I'm only five and a half
- 24:07Speaker 1: months so and Jorge and their PT Griffin, like matt Ep,
- 24:14Speaker 1: like Matty Ice up in Minnesota, like Tyler up in Minnesota,
- 24:19Speaker 1: those guys. It was a smooth transition because like Elatrosh
- 24:22Speaker 1: did my surgery right, yeah, incredible, and then I had
- 24:27Speaker 1: I was with his PT for like three weeks. Then
- 24:30Speaker 1: I came down here with Griffin and Jorge worked with
- 24:34Speaker 1: them for like four weeks, and then I went up
- 24:36Speaker 1: to Minnesota and that was about the time I needed
- 24:38Speaker 1: to start running and like lifting and like do the
- 24:41Speaker 1: do the sticking and all that stuff, you know, run
- 24:43Speaker 1: and stop. And then it was up there for like
- 24:47Speaker 1: a couple of months. And then now coming down here
- 24:49Speaker 1: and like starting to get back into the route tree
- 24:52Speaker 1: with Jay and like coming out of the explosion stuff
- 24:56Speaker 1: with Josh and then you know, like all that stuff
- 24:58Speaker 1: is has been huge. It's been a straight transition that's
- 25:01Speaker 1: been incredible. And then I'll go back up to Minnesota
- 25:04Speaker 1: on Saturday and then start rolling.
- 25:07Speaker 3: How's how's the how is it communication? As you like
- 25:10Speaker 3: transitioned from Elatrosha's team down to here with Minnesota going
- 25:15Speaker 3: back and forth, like was everybody pretty much the same page.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that's been like like the cool part about it
- 25:20Speaker 1: is like, you know, the people of in Minnesota, like
- 25:23Speaker 1: Tyler and Maddie have been really like good about hey,
- 25:27Speaker 1: calling elatrosh making sure like I'm doing the right stuff
- 25:30Speaker 1: out there. And then when I came down here, like
- 25:34Speaker 1: Maddie came down for four or five days. That's that's
- 25:37Speaker 1: my head head pt guy in Minnesota, you know. So
- 25:39Speaker 1: he came down and hung out, watched what I was doing,
- 25:42Speaker 1: did some corrections and stuff, and it was like super
- 25:45Speaker 1: cool about everything, and you know, said some things that
- 25:48Speaker 1: he wanted to put in there and implement, and then
- 25:51Speaker 1: he knew where I was at, went up there. Then
- 25:52Speaker 1: I went up there, and they knew exactly where I
- 25:54Speaker 1: was at, like what I was doing, who you were with,
- 25:57Speaker 1: and who I was with, and then they like trusted
- 25:59Speaker 1: like these people down here because you know they're the
- 26:01Speaker 1: best of the best. And then going up there transitioned
- 26:05Speaker 1: and then coming down here again like start like obviously
- 26:08Speaker 1: I'm running and doing change of direction and all that stuff.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Like Maddy came down again, uh, like last week for
- 26:15Speaker 1: a couple of days and hung out watched Jay Holt
- 26:17Speaker 1: do his stuff, and he's like, dude, this is perfect
- 26:19Speaker 1: for you, Like this is the best.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Big time. That is huge.
- 26:22Speaker 4: You've never heard of an NFL team trainer coming rolling
- 26:25Speaker 4: somewhere for somebody to check on them.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Right, Because for everybody like tuning in or listening to this,
- 26:30Speaker 3: it's usually teams are very nervous when they they want
- 26:34Speaker 3: you to stay with them the entire time, so the
- 26:36Speaker 3: way they can oversee your rehappening exactly. So the fact
- 26:38Speaker 3: that they're traveling down and getting to know the crews
- 26:41Speaker 3: down here like that is big time.
- 26:42Speaker 1: It's huge. It's huge. And then it like it gives
- 26:45Speaker 1: them confidence for me to come down here too, you know,
- 26:47Speaker 1: like if you ever have anything, like they know who
- 26:50Speaker 1: you're working with, they know exactly what you're doing, and
- 26:53Speaker 1: they're happy about it because, like like I said, I mean,
- 26:55Speaker 1: these guys are the best, but you can only tell
- 26:57Speaker 1: them that they're the best. But when they come and
- 26:58Speaker 1: see it is when they I truly believe you know. Yeah,
- 27:02Speaker 1: So it's incredible.
- 27:03Speaker 3: You talked about that the dark Place.
- 27:05Speaker 4: Yeah, what, there's a lot of different variables when it
- 27:09Speaker 4: comes to going to dark Place and everybody, everybody hits
- 27:11Speaker 4: it yours being the last game of the season.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, because everyone left, but two more left.
- 27:17Speaker 4: Sorry at the end of the season because everyone legit.
- 27:19Speaker 4: I don't know if this goes through y'all said, but
- 27:20Speaker 4: you think to yourself, if I'm gonna get hurt, I
- 27:22Speaker 4: wanted to be early in the year so I can
- 27:25Speaker 4: be ready for next year. And then once you hit
- 27:27Speaker 4: like that week ten mark, You're like, just be nix
- 27:29Speaker 4: and bruises at this point, we need it. Did that
- 27:31Speaker 4: play into yeah a little bit, because did you think
- 27:35Speaker 4: about that Detroit?
- 27:37Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, that was the tough layers to the depression. Yeah,
- 27:41Speaker 1: for sure, for sure. I mean it was one of
- 27:43Speaker 1: those things you know, like it's week sixteen. I think
- 27:47Speaker 1: was it when it was? And like, you know, I'm
- 27:50Speaker 1: knocking on a thousand yards, like I'm right there, like
- 27:55Speaker 1: having a good season, like obviously, you know, we were
- 27:59Speaker 1: fighting for a playoffs at that point, like we needed
- 28:01Speaker 1: to win that game, and we were, you know, on
- 28:03Speaker 1: the way, and you know then that was probably my
- 28:07Speaker 1: second or third target in that game. And I mean
- 28:11Speaker 1: you kind of know how to just cover two stick
- 28:13Speaker 1: nod like bending in the middle and then you know,
- 28:16Speaker 1: I turn around catch the ball and I look and
- 28:19Speaker 1: all I really see is a fat flash of blue
- 28:21Speaker 1: like underneath me. And it's like, oh, you know, try
- 28:24Speaker 1: to stop and I feel it. But I kind of
- 28:26Speaker 1: thought I just hyper extended it, like I didn't think
- 28:29Speaker 1: it was like I didn't hear pop. I didn't hear anything.
- 28:31Speaker 1: And then I ran off a field, like just jogged
- 28:34Speaker 1: off and shit not. And then they checked it and
- 28:37Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, and so it got it got
- 28:42Speaker 1: a C O M C O.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Right and then impressive nonscus.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Yeah, nothing with the meniscus. But you know, like like
- 28:52Speaker 1: I said, I mean I just turned my head around,
- 28:55Speaker 1: went up for the ball, turned the head around and
- 28:57Speaker 1: I was like, oh no, and then got off the side.
- 29:01Speaker 1: They were like, yeah, I think it might be a
- 29:03Speaker 1: cl but you know, like go shower, it's done. Get
- 29:08Speaker 1: the Amurai and everything. So you kind of get a
- 29:10Speaker 1: little bit of hope, and then finally get the news
- 29:13Speaker 1: that night and it's like, man, that's that's that really sucks.
- 29:17Speaker 1: But again, they did a good job because it was
- 29:19Speaker 1: like the MCL I didn't need to get fixed, like
- 29:23Speaker 1: I had full range of motion after it happened, and
- 29:26Speaker 1: then they locked me in a brace for about a
- 29:28Speaker 1: week to get the MCL to heal down. And then
- 29:32Speaker 1: after that it was like, all right, we need you
- 29:35Speaker 1: to get to one twenty you know, degrees to get
- 29:37Speaker 1: it to bend, and it was like at one after
- 29:39Speaker 1: they locked me, you know. So it's like that was
- 29:42Speaker 1: kind of a big process is trying to get it
- 29:45Speaker 1: in and Elatroscias are like, like I said, a really
- 29:49Speaker 1: good job. I went out there like a week and
- 29:50Speaker 1: a half before surgery and then his PT guys were
- 29:53Speaker 1: just in there cranking on it to get it to
- 29:55Speaker 1: bend and do all that, and yeah, it was it
- 29:59Speaker 1: was definitely a dark places. You're like, man, I don't
- 30:01Speaker 1: know what's gonna happen, Like what am I going to be?
- 30:03Speaker 1: The player? I was like, you hear about it, you
- 30:06Speaker 1: hear about the ACL injuries and like everything is it's
- 30:10Speaker 1: a scary thing. But you know, at the point I'm
- 30:13Speaker 1: at now, like I feel really comfortable about being able
- 30:17Speaker 1: to come back and be the player I was and
- 30:20Speaker 1: even be better, and so that's that's kind of huge
- 30:22Speaker 1: for me. But yeah, like like I say, you're not walking,
- 30:26Speaker 1: You're like Mikayla's my wife is rolling me around like
- 30:31Speaker 1: in a wheelchair, Like.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Hopefully you go from like feeling untouchable exactly to just
- 30:36Speaker 4: getting up if you have to pee in the mill,
- 30:37Speaker 4: and then you're like, bro, how am I going to
- 30:39Speaker 4: go do this?
- 30:39Speaker 1: Like can I hold it?
- 30:40Speaker 6: No?
- 30:40Speaker 3: I can't, It'll wake up exactly significant other and then.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Just going from going through it like playing and having
- 30:49Speaker 4: your schedule, having a routine the way it is and
- 30:51Speaker 4: how intense and how like precise it is, and then
- 30:53Speaker 4: it's like, hey, you're done, and now you're bedridden for
- 30:57Speaker 4: however many days?
- 30:58Speaker 1: Weeks?
- 30:58Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, because with a minute with him meniscus it's
- 31:01Speaker 4: like you can't put weight on it for six weeks.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you're locked locked.
- 31:05Speaker 4: And so then the only time you take it off
- 31:07Speaker 4: is for pet and then you're sleeping with that brace on.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Yea, what those six weeks?
- 31:11Speaker 4: Like obviously the scaries are hitting you, the depression scaries,
- 31:14Speaker 4: but like, what are you doing in the past the
- 31:15Speaker 4: time you pick up a villa video game?
- 31:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I've played a lot of cod yeah, cat a
- 31:20Speaker 1: lot of chill. Yeah, I was kicking it on the
- 31:22Speaker 1: video games. But yeah, I mean, like you say, I
- 31:24Speaker 1: mean it was like elatrosh she went in there. He
- 31:27Speaker 1: looked at it and he was when I woke up,
- 31:29Speaker 1: he was like, your ministers looks great, Like looks perfect.
- 31:33Speaker 5: You know.
- 31:34Speaker 1: We just had to fix them of the A c L.
- 31:36Speaker 1: The MCL had a stopping point, so we were good. There.
- 31:38Speaker 1: He's like he should be good. So like that was
- 31:41Speaker 1: the best part, Like you said, I was. I was
- 31:42Speaker 1: nervous that I was going to get locked in the
- 31:44Speaker 1: brace and I was gonna be screwed. But like right
- 31:47Speaker 1: away they're bending it, They're doing everything again, trying to
- 31:49Speaker 1: get the range of motion back. I'm on a bike.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Like so in about two weeks, like it was, it
- 31:55Speaker 1: was braces on, but I'm walking, you know. And then
- 31:59Speaker 1: three weeks break was off and now I'm walking, and
- 32:02Speaker 1: so it was kind of like a smooth transition after that.
- 32:03Speaker 1: But yeah, like I said, I can imagine like being
- 32:06Speaker 1: locked in the brace for yeah, six weeks to.
- 32:09Speaker 3: Give you that little machine where you like put your
- 32:10Speaker 3: foot in it like moves it.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I dread really, Oh my gosh, did you liked it?
- 32:16Speaker 4: It's not that I liked it, but like my brain
- 32:18Speaker 4: would be like, you're getting better, just by.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Laying yeah, like it was like ten degrees every day.
- 32:24Speaker 1: They told me ten degrees every day. So like I
- 32:26Speaker 1: started at like sixty or seventy degrees, it's easy, and
- 32:29Speaker 1: then it's easy, and then you go eighty, then you
- 32:32Speaker 1: go ninety, and then like you know, six days in,
- 32:34Speaker 1: you're at like one twenty and I'm like, this is like.
- 32:37Speaker 3: Your first two I might really be Wolverine.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm superhuman. Like the first two suck, and
- 32:43Speaker 1: then you start to get warmed up and you're like,
- 32:44Speaker 1: all right, I can do this for how want.
- 32:47Speaker 3: How hard has it been to stay patient? Because obviously
- 32:50Speaker 3: as athletes, we all place like expectations on ourselves to
- 32:52Speaker 3: get back by a certain timeline. How hard has it
- 32:55Speaker 3: been for you to like stay patient without the process
- 32:57Speaker 3: and kind of trust what everybody else is telling you,
- 32:59Speaker 3: like going, I'm in the training camp. I'm sure again
- 33:01Speaker 3: in your mind you have some time that you would
- 33:03Speaker 3: like to be back or outdo those expectations one hundred percent.
- 33:07Speaker 1: You know. I think they have done a really good
- 33:10Speaker 1: job by like being like, hey, like I'm not gonna
- 33:13Speaker 1: let you do this, you know, because I'm I told
- 33:15Speaker 1: them right at the beginning when I did it, and
- 33:18Speaker 1: after I got the surgery, I was like, you're gonna
- 33:19Speaker 1: have to stop me, because like I'm a person that
- 33:22Speaker 1: likes to push the limits and like I want to
- 33:24Speaker 1: do things, and I'll do it and I'll say it
- 33:28Speaker 1: doesn't really bother me, even though it probably did a
- 33:30Speaker 1: little bit. And so they they've been really good about
- 33:33Speaker 1: being like, hey, you can't do this, you know, and
- 33:36Speaker 1: like now I'm at the point where I can almost
- 33:38Speaker 1: do everything. I mean, the only thing right now that's
- 33:41Speaker 1: kind of limiting to me is I can't run fifteen
- 33:43Speaker 1: yards and then cut right off of it, Like that's
- 33:46Speaker 1: just still dangerous. I could probably do it. But like
- 33:48Speaker 1: they're like, like I said, I'm only five and a
- 33:50Speaker 1: half months out, so I got time. You know. It'll
- 33:54Speaker 1: be like I think these guys are really smart about
- 33:58Speaker 1: the timeline, you know, because like biology is biology, and
- 34:03Speaker 1: you come back seven months, there's like a twenty five
- 34:05Speaker 1: percent risk of injury eight months, like fifteen, you come
- 34:08Speaker 1: back after nine, it's like less than five, you know.
- 34:11Speaker 1: So it's like I think they're they're going to be
- 34:13Speaker 1: really smart with how they do it and how they transition,
- 34:16Speaker 1: and they have a lot of science and a lot
- 34:20Speaker 1: of like you know, measurements where they can measure my
- 34:23Speaker 1: left to my right now and so that's huge. But yeah,
- 34:26Speaker 1: I mean it like I'm I'm fortunate enough that I'm
- 34:30Speaker 1: in the time I am with with medicine and like
- 34:35Speaker 1: like how everything is and PT and the progression of everything.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Because if this happened, you know, ten or fifteen years ago,
- 34:42Speaker 1: you know, you talk to guys and they're like, yeah,
- 34:43Speaker 1: my knee still screwed up. But like, like I said,
- 34:46Speaker 1: I'm only at five and a half, and it's starting
- 34:48Speaker 1: to feel like like it was again, you.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Know, you don't have any of that no pain nothing.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I haven't really had the pain. I mean, like yeah,
- 34:57Speaker 1: like I'll do a little shock wave if I get something,
- 35:00Speaker 1: but then it's gone. So I haven't really had the
- 35:03Speaker 1: like crazy pain in it. So that's been huge. But yeah,
- 35:09Speaker 1: I mean I, like I said, I've been I've been
- 35:10Speaker 1: kind of fortunate enough because it's kind of been like
- 35:12Speaker 1: a smooth progression and I haven't had a day where
- 35:16Speaker 1: like obviously knock on wood, but like I haven't had
- 35:19Speaker 1: a day where I'm like, oh shit, this is worse
- 35:23Speaker 1: today than it was yesterday. Like I'm I've been a
- 35:25Speaker 1: smooth progression up and that's been huge.
- 35:28Speaker 4: It's it's awesome to have a doctor like Elatrosh who
- 35:30Speaker 4: has like this like almost like too confident, like cocky
- 35:36Speaker 4: about the star. But this the poison which he comes in.
- 35:39Speaker 4: Let's say he floats into the room and the way
- 35:41Speaker 4: he speaks to you, like this is the guy I
- 35:42Speaker 4: definitely want to do my surgery. And then his team
- 35:45Speaker 4: as well, I thought when I spent a couple of
- 35:47Speaker 4: weeks there, I thought they were absolutely.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Incredible, amazing, unreal. And it was great too because like
- 35:53Speaker 1: you know, I again, I was at one twenty and
- 35:55Speaker 1: then I went I went in for surgery like three
- 35:59Speaker 1: days or four days. It might have been five days
- 36:01Speaker 1: before I actually had it. Like I went in the
- 36:04Speaker 1: day before like that day was gonna have surgery. They
- 36:07Speaker 1: shaved my leg, they like give me everything. They put
- 36:10Speaker 1: me on, hooked me up to an IV. Elatrosh comes
- 36:13Speaker 1: in and he's like he bends my knee. He's like, nope,
- 36:15Speaker 1: not there yet. I go home, like what do you
- 36:18Speaker 1: what do you say?
- 36:19Speaker 4: Not there yet?
- 36:19Speaker 1: For like because I wasn't at one twenty, like I
- 36:22Speaker 1: was at like one fifteen or one eighteen. He's like, nope,
- 36:24Speaker 1: not there yet. So he's like, oh okay. So he
- 36:27Speaker 1: sent me home and then I went to the PT
- 36:29Speaker 1: like an hour later. They were cranking on it, and
- 36:32Speaker 1: then I got to one twenty that day, and then
- 36:35Speaker 1: five days later I was at like one thirty, you know.
- 36:37Speaker 1: So he was like, good thing. We waited, and then
- 36:40Speaker 1: five days later I went and got it and he's like,
- 36:42Speaker 1: this is gonna be perfect, Like you don't have to
- 36:44Speaker 1: worry about anything. It's like the surgery went absolutely incredible,
- 36:48Speaker 1: Like couldn't have gone any better, you know. I'm like,
- 36:50Speaker 1: all right, let's go. Yeah, like let's go, you know.
- 36:55Speaker 4: Yeah. The uh the only thing that makes you feel
- 36:57Speaker 4: any bit better is what.

- 38:03Speaker 4: into it.
- 38:03Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I was gonna say. And with that TJ.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Obviously the boys we don't play anymore. We're a little
- 38:08Speaker 3: washed up, but we are, as you know, with bustle
- 38:10Speaker 3: with the boys. We gotta be a voice of the people.
- 38:12Speaker 3: So let's just say we're into different hobbies. Let's call
- 38:14Speaker 3: it fantasy football. Would you advise us to put you
- 38:18Speaker 3: on our on our draft board? Are we looking waiver wire?
- 38:22Speaker 3: Let's say London game week five.
- 38:25Speaker 4: Week six?
- 38:26Speaker 1: I don't know. You have to call it Roger. I
- 38:28Speaker 1: don't know if I'll get in trouble for any inside information?
- 38:32Speaker 1: What a way to try? Like?
- 38:34Speaker 3: He should we put you on the day one board
- 38:36Speaker 3: of More and Taylor House drafted for fantasy football?
- 38:39Speaker 1: Or we look in Hey, your name is going to
- 38:42Speaker 1: be up there?
- 38:42Speaker 4: Just how far down the list is it on there?
- 38:44Speaker 1: Yeah? I think that's for you to decide.
- 38:47Speaker 4: Late round guy, Late round guy is still drafted. Got
- 38:50Speaker 4: to because you see the articles coming out they say
- 38:52Speaker 4: you're what return week.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Five going to London?
- 38:56Speaker 3: And you see he guys playing in London. Have you
- 38:59Speaker 3: played in London before?
- 39:00Speaker 1: I haven't.
- 39:00Speaker 3: No, There's that be a little bit of excitement there. Yeah,
- 39:03Speaker 3: either excitement or hey, thank god, I might not have
- 39:06Speaker 3: to go to London because can I tell you something.
- 39:08Speaker 4: It's a great experience, but it does suck.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Yeah, it depends how you do it.
- 39:15Speaker 1: You guys, are I think we're doing there thing? Yeah?
- 39:18Speaker 3: Yeahs' central you're probably gonna go out flother on Thursday
- 39:22Speaker 3: back after the game.
- 39:23Speaker 4: I think, so that is the best I think the
- 39:26Speaker 4: best way to do it as far as like you
- 39:28Speaker 4: just shocked the body, because you're supposed to sleep all
- 39:30Speaker 4: the way there and on the way back you stay
- 39:32Speaker 4: up all night, which is a nice little deal because
- 39:35Speaker 4: you basically land back. Yeah, you land back in Minnesota,
- 39:40Speaker 4: like I think in the morning or at night or
- 39:42Speaker 4: something like that. It's pivots in a way where you
- 39:44Speaker 4: can go to sleep when you land back in the
- 39:47Speaker 4: in the United States.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Or you can go to sleep when you land back.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Yeah you might. On the way there, you throw yourself
- 39:51Speaker 3: a little ambient in knock out for about seven hours
- 39:53Speaker 3: and yeah, it's hit the ground running.
- 39:55Speaker 1: You got to make specially that work.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Ambient. Yeah it works. It's doesn't. Yeah I did it
- 40:02Speaker 3: for our first London game from Washington. Yeah, I think
- 40:05Speaker 3: it doesn't. It doesn't. It doesn't work. Like it doesn't
- 40:08Speaker 3: work that well because you're just you're all fucked up anyway,
- 40:10Speaker 3: you know what I mean. Like, before you travel on
- 40:12Speaker 3: the plane, you have the rookies or the guys go
- 40:14Speaker 3: get whatever it is, let's say, pop bellies, and you're
- 40:16Speaker 3: eating that as your meal before you get on the plane.
- 40:18Speaker 3: You're trying to fall asleep. You can't necessarily fall asleep
- 40:20Speaker 3: because it's truly right after practice and then when you
- 40:23Speaker 3: got to make the meetings right when you get there,
- 40:25Speaker 3: like it's it's abysmal.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Now.
- 40:26Speaker 3: The positive is coaches usually pretty good and you only
- 40:29Speaker 3: do like a helmet's only practice, like a walk through
- 40:31Speaker 3: style just to get and let's just get under us,
- 40:34Speaker 3: like just put your focus into this. Boys, we know
- 40:36Speaker 3: this sucks. The food there's not that fucking good. It's brutal.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Look at that photo right there.
- 40:46Speaker 3: That's all You'll get their eggs over there, like the hotel,
- 40:50Speaker 3: the hotels that I've been at over there. It's like
- 40:52Speaker 3: when they cater the food in the morning, make the
- 40:54Speaker 3: food in the morning. The eggs taste different. It's just
- 40:56Speaker 3: not that.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Because eggs that you get it most so soupy eggs. Dude,
- 41:02Speaker 1: why do we do that?
- 41:04Speaker 3: They'll do they'll like have those leggs sitting out. I
- 41:07Speaker 3: don't what do you even call those? They'll car boiled
- 41:10Speaker 3: kind of.
- 41:10Speaker 4: A soft coached egg. Don't have the shell on it,
- 41:15Speaker 4: do they?
- 41:16Speaker 3: The bacon, and the bacon's real thin, real thin and floppy,
- 41:20Speaker 3: not very appetite, a lot of ass behind them. But
- 41:23Speaker 3: a London is where.
- 41:25Speaker 4: Four point five started by Corey eleven. We get on
- 41:28Speaker 4: the way there, they give us sandwiches and Corey goes
- 41:32Speaker 4: not a whole lot of ass behind this. They were like, oh,
- 41:34Speaker 4: rate it for us, Corey, and he literally described it
- 41:36Speaker 4: and then just said four point five. And that's truly
- 41:38Speaker 4: how four point five was established.
- 41:40Speaker 1: You I don't even know you know.
- 41:41Speaker 3: A lot of people. I know you've seen this, but
- 41:43Speaker 3: a lot of people think it's Shane's been.
- 41:44Speaker 4: I know, because of the US something's burning. That is truly,
- 41:47Speaker 4: that's actually Corey Levin. Yeah, I was gonna give us
- 41:49Speaker 4: the credit. That's Corey eleven joke. Four point four point
- 41:52Speaker 4: five is a rating system that we do, but we
- 41:55Speaker 4: never do four point five out of blah. We just
- 41:57Speaker 4: give a description and at the NCA four point five
- 42:00Speaker 4: and the whole rating system is based on the description
- 42:02Speaker 4: you get.
- 42:03Speaker 3: So if I were to say it should be out
- 42:05Speaker 3: of ten, or could be the best four point five
- 42:07Speaker 3: you've ever heard, or the worst point But we.
- 42:08Speaker 4: Know, we know in life nothing's perfect. That's why it's
- 42:10Speaker 4: always a four point five, even.
- 42:12Speaker 1: A four point six, that's wisdom.
- 42:15Speaker 4: It is always always a little piece better.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Yeah, we did our wedding and wai like three weeks ago.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Congratulations on that. Congratulations on that.
- 42:26Speaker 1: That. That time change coming back kicked my as five
- 42:30Speaker 1: hours like behind. Then I had to do a photo
- 42:33Speaker 1: shoot the next day, suck shoot for the Yeah your
- 42:38Speaker 1: wife oh talking yeah yeah yeah, like something cool, yeah,
- 42:44Speaker 1: something cool. Yeah, it's unreal, unreal.
- 42:47Speaker 3: How is your how is your game? In the proposal?
- 42:50Speaker 1: It was good. It was super chill, like we're we're
- 42:52Speaker 1: kind of like, uh, we're two people that are small
- 42:56Speaker 1: town people obviously, and it's not like a big ordeal,
- 43:02Speaker 1: you know, like what you do, tell us all. She's
- 43:05Speaker 1: a she's a big horse person. So like we did
- 43:08Speaker 1: it at her mom. Her mom's got some land out
- 43:11Speaker 1: in eastern Tennessee. And yeah, there you go, she got
- 43:16Speaker 1: some land out in eastern Tennessee. So we did a
- 43:17Speaker 1: little horseback ride. And then after uh, we were out
- 43:23Speaker 1: in the middle of the field or whatever, and I
- 43:25Speaker 1: got down and she got down, and we we hung
- 43:28Speaker 1: out for a second, and.
- 43:29Speaker 4: Then you know, we were in the fields and I
- 43:37Speaker 4: asked her bro talk about how nervous.
- 43:39Speaker 1: You work to insanely everybody. I was not nervous, even
- 43:44Speaker 1: like on the on the like horse ride, it wasn't
- 43:47Speaker 1: nervous at all. And then when we got on our
- 43:49Speaker 1: feet on the ground, I was like shaking.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Take the decision.
- 43:56Speaker 4: You're like, this is gonna be the person, and you
- 43:58Speaker 4: feel so good about once the ring like.
- 43:59Speaker 3: You know, the you in your hand, you're legit, Like,
- 44:01Speaker 3: oh my god, what am I doing. It's the scariest
- 44:04Speaker 3: thing ever.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it is.
- 44:06Speaker 4: How did you ask do you have a nice little
- 44:08Speaker 4: do you write a little something out or did you say, hey, listen,
- 44:10Speaker 4: here's the deal.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. Honestly, I kind of blocked out
- 44:14Speaker 1: so she could tell you a little better. I mean,
- 44:16Speaker 1: she says, I I just said I love you, right,
- 44:22Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 44:23Speaker 3: She crying?
- 44:24Speaker 1: Yeah, were you crying? Yeah? No, I wasn't then, but
- 44:27Speaker 1: at the wedding I had some tears coming out.
- 44:29Speaker 4: So yeah, did you guys do the whole like don't
- 44:32Speaker 4: see each other day of the wedding thing?
- 44:33Speaker 1: Yeah, no we didn't. She didn't sleep and like in
- 44:36Speaker 1: the same room with me the night before. Traditional going
- 44:40Speaker 1: to heaven for sure, that's the plan. Man, thanks, thank
- 44:43Speaker 1: the Lord of Both. No, it's it's been fun. It
- 44:48Speaker 1: was an incredible experience. We were out there for a
- 44:51Speaker 1: week with just both of our families and a couple
- 44:53Speaker 1: of like real close friends and just thirty people and
- 44:56Speaker 1: did boat rides, like play golf, chilled out. It was good.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Super intimate is a beautiful destination.
- 45:04Speaker 3: He'll give you some crystal piece for the wedding ring
- 45:09Speaker 3: to sit on.
- 45:10Speaker 1: No he so Neil got us meat from like as
- 45:14Speaker 1: a wedding gift. Yeah, like hell yeah yeah Wagoo be
- 45:18Speaker 1: sorry and from where do you know where? I don't
- 45:22Speaker 1: remember where he sent it from, but it's incredible.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Like, dude, he was on for like an hour one day.
- 45:28Speaker 3: I think JP you were in the car. I wouldn't
- 45:30Speaker 3: be surprised if it was Diamond j Wagoo from because
- 45:33Speaker 3: he like, you know, he just probes you on Costco
- 45:37Speaker 3: and fucking yeah.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Yeah but this has nothing on Costco, Like this is
- 45:42Speaker 1: the best Costco.
- 45:45Speaker 3: No, he loves Costco. You get the King crab legs.
- 45:49Speaker 3: That's what he just talks about it. He'd be hard
- 45:51Speaker 3: fought to find a person that doesn't enjoy Costco. Yeah,
- 45:53Speaker 3: he's big on Costco.
- 45:56Speaker 4: You brought it that you and your wife are both
- 45:57Speaker 4: from like small towns.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Yeah, get it.
- 46:00Speaker 4: How much of a culture shock was it for you
- 46:02Speaker 4: when you got in the NFL all this money, people
- 46:04Speaker 4: wearing jewelry, driving Rolls Royces around, coming from a small town.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I try not to get caught up in that fact,
- 46:10Speaker 1: but yeah, it was nuts. I mean when you go
- 46:13Speaker 1: and like obviously from a small town, you know like
- 46:17Speaker 1: who you're talking to, you know, But then when you
- 46:19Speaker 1: go to a big city and they know you but
- 46:22Speaker 1: you don't know them, it's a little weird, you know,
- 46:24Speaker 1: like yeah, hey TJ. Her you know, and you're like hey, man,
- 46:28Speaker 1: like what's going on? Like how are you? What's your name?
- 46:31Speaker 1: You know, that kind of thing.
- 46:32Speaker 3: You get stuck in the awkward like am I supposed
- 46:34Speaker 3: to know this?
- 46:35Speaker 1: Yeah, like yeah, that's kind of what it was. And no,
- 46:38Speaker 1: but like the whole Rolls Royce like all that kind
- 46:40Speaker 1: of stuff, like I've never gotten to I've never been
- 46:43Speaker 1: like a intangible person, like I don't need certain things
- 46:47Speaker 1: to feel you know, successful.
- 46:49Speaker 3: I guess did you ever felt like, uh, kind of
- 46:53Speaker 3: like you should.
- 46:55Speaker 4: Maybe get something because you're in the NFL. Did you
- 46:57Speaker 4: ever feel like you see all the people, you see
- 46:58Speaker 4: these ten year vets with all these things, you.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Know he's gotten part of you.
- 47:01Speaker 3: Yeah, no question.
- 47:02Speaker 4: Oh yeah, there is that small town cat and you
- 47:04Speaker 4: that's like, I'm always going to be a small town cat.
- 47:06Speaker 3: I'm always gonna be a bond Teran Missouri, a Cap
- 47:08Speaker 3: Creek Arizona dude.
- 47:09Speaker 4: And then you get to the league and you see
- 47:10Speaker 4: these guys rocking, you know, and then you're like, maybe.
- 47:14Speaker 3: I should get something for myself.
- 47:16Speaker 4: And there's always that like you got character, but there's
- 47:20Speaker 4: always a little bit of a deal where you're like
- 47:21Speaker 4: should I be doing this though?
- 47:23Speaker 1: You know, I get that a lot. Yeah, like a
- 47:25Speaker 1: little demon on this shoulder, and then like chirping my ear.
- 47:28Speaker 3: And then you get something nice. You're like, I won't know.
- 47:30Speaker 3: My boys would say back home, you're driving this.
- 47:32Speaker 1: Now you've changed, You've changed. That's the worst. Yes, that
- 47:37Speaker 1: really gets you in your head.
- 47:38Speaker 3: It really does, ma'am off that what has been your
- 47:41Speaker 3: biggest purchase because you signed a nice, little hefty deal
- 47:43Speaker 3: not too long ago.
- 47:46Speaker 1: Biggest purchase so far?
- 47:47Speaker 3: Yeah, like something that you've been like all right, I'm
- 47:49Speaker 3: gonna splurt it now with myself.
- 47:52Speaker 1: I got some land. I got some land.
- 47:54Speaker 3: You got some land.
- 47:55Speaker 1: We're I got some land in Iowa. Uh, one hundred
- 47:59Speaker 1: and fifty Acres's.
- 48:01Speaker 3: I feel like Brandon Sheriff did the same exact thing.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, well I'm looking for some down here.
- 48:06Speaker 1: But it's insane.
- 48:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I got one hundred and fifty acres in Iowa. Okay,
- 48:10Speaker 4: after you spent that forty seven dollars, would.
- 48:12Speaker 1: You get.
- 48:14Speaker 3: Crazy? Oh? Great deal?
- 48:17Speaker 4: How much that costs one hundred and fifty acres? Three
- 48:19Speaker 4: hundred thousand? No, come on, you're right way less?
- 48:22Speaker 1: What is it?
- 48:23Speaker 3: What's dude?
- 48:25Speaker 1: People love hunting in Iowa, Like it's straight hunting land.
- 48:28Speaker 1: So like, but what's the real estate out there? Like
- 48:30Speaker 1: a parakre?
- 48:31Speaker 3: Uh? Because it was like one to five thousand.
- 48:36Speaker 1: It's probably like ten eight to ten in where I
- 48:40Speaker 1: was looking, because it's like like I said, it's like
- 48:42Speaker 1: the best hunting land that you can get, you know. So,
- 48:45Speaker 1: so you got.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Some stands out there, you got a camp set.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Up, some stands, some cams, Like I mean, the I
- 48:51Speaker 1: think the state record at least don't quote me on this,
- 48:54Speaker 1: but this is what I was told the state record. Yeah,
- 48:56Speaker 1: of course the state record was probably like fifty. You're
- 49:00Speaker 1: twenty miles away from my land. That was a buck.
- 49:04Speaker 4: So yeah, dude, hunting is such a thing that I
- 49:07Speaker 4: want to be into so bad fun I want to
- 49:10Speaker 4: be that guy. Yeah no, I just I just I
- 49:14Speaker 4: don't think I've had enough access. And we went and
- 49:15Speaker 4: did uh.
- 49:16Speaker 3: I was gonna say, you kind of thing. I got
- 49:18Speaker 3: to get you on that trip too. Yeah. Yeah. But
- 49:21Speaker 3: like I have a bunch of boys that always like,
- 49:23Speaker 3: you should come hunting with me.
- 49:24Speaker 1: You should. I just don't and I should.
- 49:27Speaker 4: But when I when I do go, I think to myself,
- 49:30Speaker 4: it'd be great to do this more. But then I
- 49:31Speaker 4: get by myself again. I'm like, where do I fucking start? Yeah,
- 49:35Speaker 4: I can buy the gun, but after that it's like
- 49:36Speaker 4: I'm just gonna walk around and was like.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Oh, you're supposed to sit here for a while.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Yeah, oh bro, yeah you can go down a rabbit
- 49:42Speaker 1: hole for sure.
- 49:43Speaker 4: It's just a crazy world. I just feel I'm so
- 49:45Speaker 4: far behind now. It's hard from again too, because you
- 49:47Speaker 4: get around the meat eater guys like uh, Steve and them,
- 49:50Speaker 4: and they're just encyclopedias when it comes to hunting. This
- 49:52Speaker 4: that and the other of all the things you can do,
- 49:55Speaker 4: and it's like, man, do I really want to dive
- 49:56Speaker 4: into this world?
- 49:57Speaker 1: And I don't know all that, Like I'm not on
- 49:59Speaker 1: that love people like, yeah, I can do that for
- 50:04Speaker 1: a turkey, Yeah, like I can, I can do all that,
- 50:06Speaker 1: But I mean I don't know a lot of that stuff.
- 50:10Speaker 1: Like I'd love to go hunting in Alaska, like they
- 50:13Speaker 1: talk about like el hunting, moose, hunting, bear grizzly.
- 50:17Speaker 3: I think bears move.
- 50:19Speaker 1: That'd be so sick. There was a buddy of mine
- 50:21Speaker 1: that was like he was following this bear for a
- 50:23Speaker 1: long time and like five or six miles and they
- 50:26Speaker 1: were tracking it and then the bear they turned around
- 50:29Speaker 1: and the bear was tracking that. Oh shit, and.
- 50:31Speaker 3: So like a Mexican standoff.
- 50:33Speaker 1: Yeah, like that's that's scary, Like you'd have to have
- 50:38Speaker 1: a guide for that. But yeah, I think that would
- 50:40Speaker 1: be sick.
- 50:41Speaker 4: Like this is how green I am. Like I was
- 50:42Speaker 4: in Canada camping with my family for twelve out of
- 50:45Speaker 4: fourteen days, and legit, every morning I woke up, I
- 50:48Speaker 4: was kind of nervous. So when my wife come with
- 50:50Speaker 4: me outside, so they'd be like bears and coockars everywhere.
- 50:53Speaker 3: Didn't see either.
- 50:53Speaker 4: Yeah, but I just think to myself, these motherfuckers are
- 50:56Speaker 4: out here, right.
- 50:57Speaker 3: They're out there doing their thing.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Yeah. My brothers like big into like going to Colorado
- 51:02Speaker 1: and like camping. He's got a jeep that's like all
- 51:04Speaker 1: set up. He's got a rooftop ten all that, and
- 51:07Speaker 1: he'll go out and he's like lights a campfire and
- 51:11Speaker 1: then he finds like a little wooded area and he's
- 51:14Speaker 1: got his dog. But his dog will like just growl
- 51:17Speaker 1: into the woods like around him, and like he'll hear
- 51:19Speaker 1: like cracking and stuff, and he's just like you can't
- 51:21Speaker 1: think about it, you know, you can't think about it.
- 51:24Speaker 1: But like he's also got it, you know, a gun
- 51:26Speaker 1: on his hip and everything. But like that, that's that's scary. Yeah,
- 51:30Speaker 1: being out there by yourself. No one around anywhere.
- 51:34Speaker 3: Get a gun. They don't really do the whole gun
- 51:36Speaker 3: thing up there.
- 51:37Speaker 4: You do handhand combat with a bear.
- 51:41Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 51:42Speaker 4: I would feel so much safer I had like a
- 51:44Speaker 4: give me even a twenty two something.
- 51:45Speaker 3: I can just crack off. Hey, you know, give me
- 51:49Speaker 3: a pela gun. Just get yeah something man. But it
- 51:52Speaker 3: is kind of scary.
- 51:52Speaker 4: It's so funny seeing like my wife and her mom
- 51:55Speaker 4: and they're just like, yeah, it'll be fine, it's fine.
- 51:58Speaker 4: I'm thinking myself, Bro, it's not because.
- 52:00Speaker 3: I'm we are not fine.
- 52:03Speaker 4: We're not fine because I'm thinking, if something does happen,
- 52:06Speaker 4: I've got to be the one to sacrifice myself, the
- 52:09Speaker 4: whole women and children. First thing, the Titanic, I'm the
- 52:12Speaker 4: only guy out there, and they're saying it's gonna be fine, yeah,
- 52:14Speaker 4: because I have to die, right, you know, I'm the
- 52:16Speaker 4: first sacrificial lamp. And I'm just I don't know if
- 52:19Speaker 4: I'm man enough to do it.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Brother, Like a pack of wolves would see, I don't
- 52:24Speaker 1: think so, man, what do you have? Like a pack
- 52:27Speaker 1: of wolves? Like pack of wolves would be crippling, That's
- 52:30Speaker 1: what I mean. Like I would rather see a grizzly
- 52:34Speaker 1: than a pack of wolves.
- 52:36Speaker 3: I don't know, dude, seeing you know, you would piss
- 52:38Speaker 3: down your legs. But if you were in a pack
- 52:40Speaker 3: of wolves out but one dogs.
- 52:42Speaker 4: You see a bunch of wolves, you see a bunch
- 52:45Speaker 4: of wolves, it's like all right, Like you know she's
- 52:46Speaker 4: not gonna go your way, But there's a in my mind,
- 52:49Speaker 4: you're gonna take one of those fuckers out first, or
- 52:52Speaker 4: at least get a couple of punches. You see a
- 52:54Speaker 4: big like, there's a bear, there's a video yourself a
- 52:57Speaker 4: bear like rummaging through and photos, gonna.
- 52:59Speaker 3: Take them and if you got something to grab the
- 53:02Speaker 3: mic man well and then by the way, if it
- 53:04Speaker 3: is one wolf like you like your chances, that's yeah.
- 53:08Speaker 1: But you're talking, you're talking a pack of wolves like
- 53:10Speaker 1: they're chirping from each angle, Like you're like like, like
- 53:15Speaker 1: which one's coming out?
- 53:16Speaker 4: But part of me is like, if I just see one,
- 53:18Speaker 4: I'll start fighting this one. Then eventually I'm gonna get tuck.
- 53:21Speaker 3: But like you see a bit, like you see that
- 53:22Speaker 3: motherfucker right there just looking at you. That is so
- 53:25Speaker 3: much scary. Bears to me, I would be scariest.
- 53:28Speaker 4: And in Canada, people in Canada are like, oh, you
- 53:31Speaker 4: don't know about bears. You know about cougars because you
- 53:33Speaker 4: don't see until they got you.
- 53:35Speaker 1: I'm thinking, oh my god, you had something.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Look at this dude pulled the pistol out. Of course
- 53:40Speaker 3: you filled in.
- 53:41Speaker 6: You you checked yourself. When we were having an argument
- 53:44Speaker 6: about would you rather fight a giraffe or a wolf wolf.
- 53:52Speaker 1: A giraffe or wolf. Yeah, one giraffe is like stopping
- 53:56Speaker 1: that thing.
- 53:57Speaker 3: Everybody was unanimous except for JP.
- 54:00Speaker 1: What and look at this one on one?
- 54:03Speaker 3: Look at that.
- 54:04Speaker 1: I don't think they're getting as low as you are though,
- 54:05Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 54:06Speaker 3: But you're getting stomped now.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:09Speaker 4: I was at the I was at the Nashville Zoo
- 54:11Speaker 4: and I was feeding, like lettuce exactly there came out
- 54:15Speaker 4: his face is here, and then he stuck his Their
- 54:17Speaker 4: tongues are this long.
- 54:18Speaker 3: They got that little confidence quickly, definitely, But dude, yeah,
- 54:25Speaker 3: and they got them.
- 54:26Speaker 4: They got the horns on top of put that thing
- 54:29Speaker 4: on you wolves. To me, I was just a that's a.
- 54:31Speaker 3: Dog, dude.
- 54:34Speaker 1: They're bigger than I know.
- 54:35Speaker 4: They're like one hundred and forty five pounds.
- 54:36Speaker 3: But I'm telling you, bro.
- 54:39Speaker 1: I there's a pack of wolf taking Titan.
- 54:41Speaker 3: I mean, we've all seen the gray, right.
- 54:44Speaker 4: I have not seen the Gray grow, but I've seen
- 54:46Speaker 4: I've seen this scene where he's like breaking the bottles,
- 54:48Speaker 4: taping his hands and then he sees them on.
- 54:50Speaker 3: I've seen that scene.
- 54:51Speaker 4: On Instagram, which is like, yeah, that's crazy. See that's
- 54:54Speaker 4: a whole bunch of boys working together.
- 54:56Speaker 1: You know.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Let let let JP get some words in.
- 54:59Speaker 6: Oh no, have you seen Lord of the Rings?
- 55:02Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 55:02Speaker 6: No, when I was like legless and them are taking
- 55:05Speaker 6: down mammots, and a man with this would be a
- 55:08Speaker 6: whole lot tougher to take down and than a giraffe.
- 55:13Speaker 3: It's a fictional situation.
- 55:14Speaker 4: Bro, A draft is fucking you. First off, to get
- 55:19Speaker 4: to any main artery, you got to climb up a
- 55:21Speaker 4: damn tree to get that there.
- 55:22Speaker 6: They're not even killers who giraffes.
- 55:25Speaker 3: They'll kill your ask no question.
- 55:27Speaker 6: We'll see your giraffe out there. Listening to the show.
- 55:33Speaker 1: This is the.
- 55:33Speaker 4: Clip, This is the Clipper talking about that. It's realistic.
- 55:36Speaker 3: You are a crazy person, the most insane shit ever.
- 55:42Speaker 1: Bro, what are you talking?
- 55:43Speaker 3: This dude climbing up a thirty story elist.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Of this dude?
- 55:46Speaker 6: It's Orlando Bloom Bro, Yeah, who's he playing?
- 55:50Speaker 4: I went and saw the first Lord of the Rings
- 55:52Speaker 4: with my grandmother when I was like eleven years old,
- 55:54Speaker 4: and the one with the guy, the one of the
- 55:57Speaker 4: main dudes is like hiding behind a tree and these
- 55:58Speaker 4: dudes on black horses are chasing them. O. Look at
- 56:00Speaker 4: My grandma was like, we gotta get.
- 56:01Speaker 1: Out of here.
- 56:02Speaker 3: It was too scary for me.
- 56:03Speaker 6: You're gimli.
- 56:04Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 56:05Speaker 4: I'm gonna take that as an insult. I guess don't
- 56:08Speaker 4: laugh like that. Man, you can't laugh at jokes.
- 56:10Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 56:12Speaker 4: But yeah, you gotta take down a.
- 56:13Speaker 1: Wolf man, a singular wolf that's.
- 56:16Speaker 4: Not a single wolf for sure.
- 56:19Speaker 3: I mean we're gonna lose to sing a single wolf,
- 56:21Speaker 3: but all right, we have better chances easier.
- 56:24Speaker 6: Death against the giraffage STOMPSI you're done. Wolf might tear
- 56:27Speaker 6: your arm apart, might get your foot, Yeah, and you
- 56:29Speaker 6: just suffered.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Wait a minute, you think you're taking down an alpha wolf.
- 56:33Speaker 4: I think I'm taking down like a mother wolf. No,
- 56:36Speaker 4: like a like a baby, an old wolf or a
- 56:38Speaker 4: baby wolf. Oh yeah, an older one, like one that's
- 56:42Speaker 4: been in the block for a minute.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Dude.

- 58:35Speaker 3: I shouldn't be embarrassed.
- 58:36Speaker 1: No.
- 58:36Speaker 3: I started doing keeps, started doing keep record.
- 58:39Speaker 4: I was on the phone with somebody that we know
- 58:40Speaker 4: I will not say on this on the show right now,
- 58:42Speaker 4: who was like, dude, I'm gonna do I'm gonna get
- 58:44Speaker 4: hair transplants. I was like, you should just run that
- 58:48Speaker 4: and just just do it and be proud of it.
- 58:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. I think the problem is though I don't
- 58:53Speaker 3: know which parts of my head I'm going to parts
- 58:56Speaker 3: of my hair I'm going to lose. So I feel
- 58:57Speaker 3: like if I fix like the corners right now, what
- 58:59Speaker 3: if something came later on go back?
- 59:01Speaker 4: You just go back. It's gonna be the the sooner
- 59:04Speaker 4: you do it, the change is gonna be. Yeah, because
- 59:07Speaker 4: they just take the little back part, they take this
- 59:08Speaker 4: part right here and they just put it up here and.
- 59:11Speaker 1: You can do.
- 59:13Speaker 3: Let's see you in a couple of months from now. I
- 59:14Speaker 3: think Keep's gonna get me right.
- 59:15Speaker 4: I think you should go to Turkey after Keeps. I mean,
- 59:18Speaker 4: keep his gonna save your ass.
- 59:19Speaker 1: But what's in Turkey?
- 59:21Speaker 4: That's where like people go to their hair transplants. Oh really, yeah,
- 59:24Speaker 4: they actually have like a crazy medical system up there.
- 59:26Speaker 4: But I've got a little wormhole with those things. But
- 59:32Speaker 4: there's like a bunch of like videos of people flying
- 59:34Speaker 4: back from Turkey and they all got like the could
- 59:36Speaker 4: a sack with the bandages on top, because that's like
- 59:39Speaker 4: it's like cheap and like well done. There's wild getting
- 59:42Speaker 4: get off, get out.
- 59:43Speaker 3: Dude, Kurt got his hair done, and I don't think
- 59:45Speaker 3: it's like a known thing. Oh well now you know, yeah,
- 59:48Speaker 3: well now I think i've I think I've said it
- 59:49Speaker 3: a couple of times on.
- 59:49Speaker 1: The pod before.
- 59:50Speaker 4: Let's hope for his sake.
- 59:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I got to see him like the day after.
- 59:53Speaker 3: His face was all puffy and so one. I was
- 59:54Speaker 3: trying to get a photo. He wouldn't let me take
- 59:56Speaker 3: a photo.
- 59:57Speaker 4: It's like you with your little gibilet teeth. I can't
- 59:59Speaker 4: get that photo. I know I showed you though you
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: showed me, but I want the photo.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: I know you do.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: I would never post it unless yeah, yeah he did,
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: he said.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: He showed me a little photo of him because he had,
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: like you had the tempts or before they put the
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: tempts on.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: I put the Yeah, they shaved it down and then
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: I got the tempts. So I was at your wedding
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: with the tempts in. And then a couple of weeks
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: later they get the you know, the moldings, and everybody has.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: The things them just the top, just the top eight,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: because they were like based on the way I talk
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: and smile and everything else. You only see my top ones.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I would show my bottom ones, but they're a
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: little off tonne and attle off color. They gave me
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: some whitening to do to match it, and I just never.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Got to it. Never got to it.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: Busy, busy, I'm busy. I got the hit out hair
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: that you got down here.
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: Yeah, speaking of you get ts pre check yet.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: JP.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: We were in and I was essentially a lecturing JP
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: on you need to get it, and he said, I'm
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: gonna do it on Monday. That was two weeks ago.
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: It was two Mondays, Monday, though today's Monday.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: But you're not, you challenged me. No, you challenge yourself.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: You're like, I gotta do this before.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: You said a like, you put in a for it, right,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: and then you have to make another schedule for to
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: go get your finger.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: You fill it out online.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: You fill all this stuff online, and then you just
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: go to the Staples, which from this spot right here,
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: there's a Staples four minutes away, and you just pay
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: seventy five dollars and they like their fingerprints.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I don't think so they got you, bro, Global Entry,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: I had to do.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: My fingerprints are out there.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: I had a criminal record.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: My all them boys are on there, and they gave
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: you pre chag.
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: I mean there they got put down a misdemeanors. You know,
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: I worked it all out a good team.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Yeah, shout out Michigan.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: But you're not going to do that today because CFB
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: twenty five comes out in about an hour.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: No, bro, what time we add It's two o'clock on
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: a Monday, the game releases. If you got the Deluxe edition,
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: which we did, you can start paying college football for
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: one hour one hour from now.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: Are you as fired up for that as it seems
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: like everybody is.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't know you're not. No, I'm not
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: like as fired up as everybody else is, but like
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: I got my I don't have my PlayStation down here.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: It's something in Minnesota.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: So you five guy?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what, I think it is your Xbox.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: The promise.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: He's young. So your whole time in college you were
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: not in the game.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: I bet he was playing n C fourteen though. Yeah.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: I was, Yeah, there's.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: Something being in the game fourteen.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm so stoked for it. Do you know what
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: I was overall?
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Uh? No, do you eighty four? I mean that defense?
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: What that's when Nebraska is to stop it? Hey, you
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: like ratioed you on your birthday?
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Yeah, get out of it?
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: What happened?
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: I saw that.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: I was like, I'm goes. It was his birthdays, Like
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: I appreciate everybody for all the birthday, which is I'm
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: blessed or very blessed or whatever it is. And I said,
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: you're not blessed. You went to Iowa just put him
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: into oblivion on his birthday.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: You got him, man, that's crazy.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: You got him.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I think this game is gonna end a lot
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: of people's relationships and careers.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I heard the field goal thing is hard.
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: I haven't I haven't seen.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: That and it goes like super fast a meter does
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: doesn't really, Yeah.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: I mean it should be difficult if you're trying to
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: kick a game winning field goal. I know you want
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: the game to be a video you want it to
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: be a to be a video game.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I think.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: I mean, the college kickers are worse right than the NFL,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: so it should be harder.
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: And not only that, but we're talking like a route tree.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: If you want to you want to give a receiver
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: hot route, they have twelve different routes that they can run.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: So you can like build your own system like on
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: the fly and protection, rattle through the protections together.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: You can gap out, you can slide one way man
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: the other way. You can go five oh, which is
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: five on five protection. I'm sure you can bring in
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: a tight end and go like a you know, Y
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: six y seven. You can simply I D the H
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: two H three, which is all great.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: And that's awesome. Yeah, but I'm.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: That's a lot of controls.
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: When I look at like n C A fourteen, how
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: simple the game is as far as like you got
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: your juke moves. You can do X, Y and Z
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: if you press harder it's more of a bullet pass.
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: If you tap it, it kind of arcs it over
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: and then you go to Madden. It just seems like
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: they put so much realism into it that it kind
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: of takes away the enjoyment of playing the game. And
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: I am more of a pessimistic when it comes to
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: You're more of a casual You're more of a Joe.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I like the casual stuff.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: No, I'm with you though, because I don't play the
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: game as much as I should probably could or what
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: like shit, Yeah, but you play. I don't want to. Yeah,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: I don't want to know. I have to learn all
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: the controls every time. I can't wait.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: It's gonna be fun to see I just.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Better time. Oh yeah, that would be honestly probably the
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: best team to do a dynasty with. I'm clearly biased.
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: I'm clearly biased, but I'm talking. I'm talking like I'm talking,
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: and like the parameters, what would be a good a
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: good team to start Dynasaur about the parameters? For me,
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: it's like you got we got rails, so you got
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: good A good young young.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: Quarterback remembers to start a good dynasty.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: Somebody who's not like above ninety. You want a team
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: that you can build up to be like a five
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: star program. I think Nebraska sitting around a three or
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: three and a half star. That's tough because they were
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: five and twenty fourteen, they were they were, they were.
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: Streamers are saying like Nebraska is like the best team
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: to do it because exactly what you're saying, Like, they're
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: in the Big Ten, they have Ryola, and they have
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: like a some good players, and like you can bring it.
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: You can bring like Nebraska back to start.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: And when you're playing, want to keep it when you're
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: doing when you're doing recruiting, I'm sure there'll be challenges.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: I'm sure there'll be challenges trying to recruit guys to
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: your school since you're not like a premier school.
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Let's just do it as a tear talk then, Okay,
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: best dynasties, My Tier one is Nebraska. Okay, you are
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: you aware of tear talk?
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: All right, we started three go to one.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: Obviously you can get out of the mentions if you want,
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: but we're gonna do as Dynasty's best teams have started
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: Dynasty with.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Once or do we do three?
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: And the snake draft style.
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: That's what we do with Kittle on the stadiums. We
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: could do that again if we want.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: So once one gets drafted, it's off the board. It's
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: off the board. Okay, So well.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: I like that.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: You like it now? So we started tier one then
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: pretty much because you started here, you're.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Doing your first pick, all right, honors. Yeah, I'm doing Hawks.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Obviously you should have took Nebraska.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: I know, I thought to serve them all the Hawks.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: The Hawks would be a good one to five. Yeah,
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: you got.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Yes, And then you can if you're going to get players,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: you can get a bunch of on the offense too,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: so Phil Parker in the defense.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: But that's like Iowa football man never score over twenty.
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: They don't have to play good, hard nosed defense.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: You guys might have to what you mean the defense
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: is okay, they're keeping them under twenty every time.
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: The last two games you guys played, though.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: But also didn't didn't the OC get fired last year?
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, Brian, Yeah.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: That's that's a positive.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: Right. Well yeah, I mean, yeah, yeah, you're not. It
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: was a little different.
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: But you liked a lot, like scoring ten points a game.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: We didn't score ten points games, score thirteen. Oh, come on, now,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I don't know how many look it up on Michigan's
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: waiting in the game twenty seventeen twenty eighteen four. I
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: think it was.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: I mean, I would need some more offense, you call
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: what it is?
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, but they're pro style offense. I mean
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: in college. College is a little like that's a little different,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: right because everybody's doing spread.
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: Now, but they're adapting with the times.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, but it's I mean they have more
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: people go to the league because of it.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: Well, tight ends, you guys have tight ends.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Well yeah, but he's a tight ends.
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: Old lineman and a white defensive player.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah, bro, yeah, how about that Cooper.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: That's got to be the product for you what you
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: guys produced the first white dB since like eighteen hundreds.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I know that is wild. I mean de
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Jean's insane though, Like if you go back and like
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: watch him playing basketball and stuff too, like he's just
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: a freak athlete. So Taylor is surprised.
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: I could totally be reading this wrong, but Michigan is
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: not listed in the top twenty five on CB.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: That's incorrect.
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: It's got to be. It's got to be because that's
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: those are offensives when they go off offensive. Okay, no
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: bad ideas, no bad ideas, because I do think they're
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: not They're definitely not below in eighty three overall as
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: a team. Yeah, we're I think ranked in the top ten.
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: You guys going into the season.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: You guys lost a lot of offensive power. Yeah, but
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: you know good line by. You guys lost a good linebacker.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Right, good boy, Yeah we got j J. Now.
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: I know, dude, I want to talk about that too.
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: And it sucks that you brought that up just now
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: because we're in your talk. So remind me to talk
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: about that because.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: You have with a lot of good quarterbacks.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and just footnote.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: That Nebraska with my first pick eighty.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: Eight slept On. I love it.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: I love that. All right, I'm going Nebraska for all
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: things we talked about. You got a young freshman quarterback
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: who's in eighty overall. He's gonna be trending upward very fast.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: You're talking middle of the pack in offense and defense.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: I think they're like an eighty four across the board,
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: eighty four overall, eighty four offense, eighty four defense. They're
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: a three and a half star program on CFB twenty five.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: You got an opportunity to build them back up to
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: what they were back in the nineties. Some also say
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: the Polini era. I'm gonna go with Nebraska. I think
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: a great foundation to build it makes it recruiting a
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: little challenging, which I think will be very fun. So
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: Nebraska my first overall pick. Yeah, based on the parameters.
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: I've just been told that that's a good pick. And
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: I wasn't gonna pick Michigan because I thought they would
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: be rated higher. I thought they'd be in an upper
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: echelant like in the nineties. But I'm gonna, you know what,
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: I'm not gonna take Michigan. I'm gonna leave Michigan off on
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: the table.
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: I'm gonna pick a team like I actually hate that
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: I'm picking this, but it might be the best pick.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: And that's South Carolina.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: If you think, if you.
- 1:10:15Speaker 4: Think about it, I mean, you got that cat you
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: were just telling me about who has the acceleration the
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: speed of ninety nine.
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: But you've also done.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Name NICKI Harber.
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: You've got a program that is in a prestigious conference,
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: that has been middle to lower lower pack, and you
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: want to bring that prestige back or to a program
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: that hasn't had a whole lot of success and kind
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: of run a conference that is arguably the best we
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: all know his second best conference, but arguably the best conference.
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: I think the game Cops is a good pick.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: That's my pick.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: And if you thought, if you throw it on Heisman
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: mode and like take your licks and try to get
- 1:10:48Speaker 3: like say seven to eight win season, like you have
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: some challenges that will make that dynasty.
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: Fun, yeah, which I've never really done before.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: That's a good pick. They were. That's who I wanted
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: for my second That's what I want for my second.
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: And I wanted to leave Michian out of it because
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: Michigan is a tough dynasty pick just because they won
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: the national championship last year. Yeah, they've lost a lot
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: of guys, but they are.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: Top talks, they're top dogs in the food chain. Some
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: say it's not a good.
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: Yeah, it could be not a good look to grab
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: my team. But at the end of the day, like
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: we're playing make Believe right now, I'm more care about's
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: gonna happen in the season.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: And we'll find out September seven. If a Michigan takes
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: on the Long Horns.
- 1:11:26Speaker 4: That's gonna be a great game, I know, but we're
- 1:11:28Speaker 4: we're not gonna fucking be there because you Colorado Nebraska
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: like that's a bigger game.
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: It's not.
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: Come on, Will, I'm telling you and everyone in here
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: is probably going to agree with me that that is
- 1:11:40Speaker 4: not a bigger game. I'm going because I fucking I
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: love you, Bro, I know that game means so much
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: to you. But I'm pretty sure we'd like to see
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: the Longhorns, who are in the College Wall playoff last year,
- 1:11:52Speaker 4: versus the reigning national champions in in Arbor, Michigan. I'm
- 1:11:56Speaker 4: I'm pretty.
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: Sure we'd run what atmosphere would you guys rather be at?
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: Look at him? Look don't say his you guys know
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: my name, say it loud.
- 1:12:08Speaker 7: I think if a couple of things go a different
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: direction for Nebraska last year, they could have won some games.
- 1:12:14Speaker 7: They could have made some noise and made the playoff,
- 1:12:16Speaker 7: making this year's game a little bit more interesting. But Slash,
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: I want my job. There is Michigan versus Texas is
- 1:12:25Speaker 7: the game is that?
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: That's the game, without a doubt, Mitch, I hate that
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: we have to do this right now.
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean Michigan Texas is where you gotta go.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: I need more built to board material.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: For my season in Michigan Texas, for sure, Garrett.
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: I think if the game was in Austin, I would
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: go to that one.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: But I like the Memorial Game day atmosphere better.
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: Than how it is quite Hey, you know, I know
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: how I went to a game in Memorial last year
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: and it was quite a that's a different time, bro, Michigan, Bro,
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: what is is that the home open definition of insanity?
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: No, here's what I mean by let me here, let
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: me hear.
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: JP's South Carolina's got Kentucky on the seven, all.
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: Right, but that's why the choices.
- 1:13:18Speaker 6: Uh yeah, Michigan Texas.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: And it's insane. You're just trying to go against the grand.
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: The atmosphere is better at Nebraska than Michigan, but the
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: teams are better for Michigan versus Texas.
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: To Austin, and I want to go to Austin. Yeah,
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: but I also being going to Michigan. I would want
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: to go to Michigan. And it's got a lot louder
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: by the way guys.
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: Should do that, it's gotten a lot louder.
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: I think it was actually rated top twenty five loudest stadiums.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: It was in the twenties. It was in the twenties
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: for sure.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I always got to be up there.
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: I does get kind of loud. I was, I was,
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: but because they put the fans right up on you.
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: All that being said, I'm gonna go to your game.
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: No, I know. And what the point I was gonna
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: make is with Michigan coming in, like being the number
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: one overall team, it didn't take much of the absolutely
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: deflate that entire stity because you're right, But I'm saying
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: the expectation going into this year, we're in the spot
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: to where the expectations are like, Yo, we really got
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: a shot.
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: And we too, This is not that what the expectation
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: is make a Bowl game.
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: Listen, I'm telling you right now, the expectation is not
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: to just win six games. Bro. Is that what you're
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: trying to tell me that all Nebraska we're just rooting
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: for six wins this year.
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: If you if we get to the end of the
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: season and you guys are a five hundred team, you're
- 1:14:35Speaker 4: gonna be so proud.
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: No, I'm gonna call for rules shut down. There's no
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: way I'm gonna have to think about the ring.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: No no, no, no, no, no, no no no. This wasn't
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: the thing I saw. This wasn't the thing I saw.
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: Take that off the.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: Twenty five Quietest.
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: That's not what I saw.
- 1:14:55Speaker 4: There's That's the thing with the internet, man, you can
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: find anything to support whatever you want.
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: Who's your second and round pick?
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: I would take Texas. Manny, you got the quarterback. He's
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: not your starter, he's not well still on the team.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: I don't know. I just like Texas. I don't yeah,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Like I grew up like watching them, going to a
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: lot of their their football games, baseball games, and so
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: I kind of just like them. So I would pick
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: all right, okay, period.
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: Let me go. Wasn't a who that pick? I like
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: the Texas pick. You got the young quarterbacks, you know,
- 1:15:33Speaker 3: but you are a team that's already You're already, they're
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: already established.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: He's somebody who.
- 1:15:40Speaker 4: Ero challenge and I, from my understanding, I've never played
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: Dynasty before. You want to pick a team that maybe
- 1:15:46Speaker 4: doesn't have the prestige you wanted to have.
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: Yeah, with my second pick, I think I'm gonna go
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: with the University of Miami. I think that'd be a
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: very fun one to bring back to life in the
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: A c C. At the moment, I'm gonna go with
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: my The recruiting would be a lot easier done in Florida,
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: but that that would be a fun team to bring back.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: Give me Hawaii for my pick. I play an NCAA fourteen, man.
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: I remember making creative players and just going to Hawaii
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: and being like, let me just bring this conference who
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: has never seen the light as far as having any
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: prestige at all, and bring them some success. Make Hawaii
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: Honolulu a hot bed for recruiting where all the boys
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: and girls want to come and be a part of
- 1:16:27Speaker 4: a national championship team. Hawaii is my second pick.
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: That'd be a very challenging one too. I respect that pick.
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: I also really don't know what I'm doing right now.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I'm with you. I think the Air Force
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: would be sick.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Oh, let's go.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: Let's go got us sports the military? Yes, yes, yes,
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: have to.
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: Man, I want to hit a fun when there are
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: a few out there. But I think more where I'm
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: going to dial in on is I was thinking about them,
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: but I think it's gonna be.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: I don't know, se.
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: No, that's a fun one. Let's go hm, let's go Arizona.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: Let's go Arizona.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: Fun.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: See right now, Big twelve, I don't know if I
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: want that one.
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: I take it off the board.
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: Colorado would be fun. But again, they got to the
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: best players in the game. It's like to me, in
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: my opinion, you'd be able to with your dr and
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: Travis Hunter, you'd be able to win very fast. In
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: my opinion, because I was dabbling with you got Arizona.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: I like Missoo. Missoo would be fun. Kansas would be fun.
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: In Kansas State would be fun. Let's go to Miszoo.
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: Let's go Miszoo because we're talking SEC. They're a fun school.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: It would take a lot to build that program and
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: really compete. You're in and you're out in heist mode
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: in the SEC. I'm gonna go with the Miszoo. And
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: they had that DN that came out in twenty thirteen.
- 1:18:17Speaker 4: That's your favorite.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Oh yes, what's his name again?
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: Sam?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Something? See what was his last name? I can't remember.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: I remember him from the videos?
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: Is it Michael sim Yeah? I can't Michael Sam, I
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: can't remember, now that you say it, Michael.
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: Samm Yeah, my pick, my pick, is gonna be Arizona
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: State University. I think Dillingham out there, and I dude,
- 1:18:40Speaker 4: I talk about this all. I have no idea why
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: ASU is not a hotbed for recruiting. You're in Tempee,
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: you have old town. Scott said, you got Phoenix, you
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: got sun every single day. You literally got girls going
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: to school in their bikinis. Like it's one of those
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: schools where it's like you got Blue Mountain State written
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: all over it.
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: But the facility sucked.
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: Yeah, they sucked because they've never been good. Right, Yeah,
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: so you go, you bring some boys in there that
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: can really get it done, and then all of a sudden,
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: the money starts coming in.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Guy.
- 1:19:08Speaker 4: Arizona, by far is the most like fair weather fan
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: base of all the states. I believe they don't give
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: a shit about sports teams unless they're good. And when
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: the minute you start getting get ASU, it is going
- 1:19:21Speaker 4: to be a crazy pride all around it.
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: You didn't go there, Yeah, you're right. I'll start to
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: go to the league and everybody who's trying to play
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: high level college football wants to go to the league.
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: And all you got to say is, hey, don't worry
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: about all that external bullshit. You want to come to
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: a real program, an NFL hotbed. You come here because
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: you're going to spend the majority of your time in
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: the facility.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: An argument to that is is like you can enjoy
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: everything and also be a star immediately. You can build
- 1:19:44Speaker 4: something beautiful in that laya foundation for a procedures university,
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: and you can be one of the pillars that stands
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: on with your statue sitting outside. Because there's only Patrick
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: Tillman and you're the example. You did not go there.
- 1:19:53Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right. I didn't. Well, there was never an
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: ASU offered me. I thought, hell yes, but no no shot. Yeah,
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: like official physics and take one.
- 1:20:02Speaker 4: A big reason why I didn't go to issue was
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: a bunch of kids from Suara. We're going to se
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: and I was like, I don't want to play with
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: these guys.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: But if you can't win with your guys, I don't
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: know who these dudes. Yeah will and I'll help them.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: And what will NIL help?
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: They got to find someone money, No d NIL helps.
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: NIL helps the biggest programs, the programs like Michigan, like
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: in Nebraska, like these schools that have a lot of
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: history and a huge alumni, like Michigan has one of
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: the like the largest living alumni, so they will have
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: a bunch of people give money and they have people
- 1:20:38Speaker 4: that you know, the guy who owns the Dolphins also
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: owns Michigan. Look at Ohio State. If they win this year,
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: it's not because their culture or how awesome they are,
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: it's because they spent the most money and most NIL
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: money out of any program. And talk about it, Astro,
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: I want to talk about Michigan. That's an astros written
- 1:20:53Speaker 4: all over. He hasn't earn that.
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: You guys bought that. Yeah, I mean you guys had
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: some pretty hefty allegations last year.
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: Yeah are they now? Still they're fucking gone. People don't
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: give a fuck anything. Still Barball dapped, Everyone's.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: Like, I guess we're cool.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: That's for good.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: I'll be going Sean Moore now. Yeah, n I l
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: NIL helps teams that you're only gonna know what kind
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: of walls that they have if they pour into the facilities.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: You don't have anybody that pours into any facilities at
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: Arizona State. So even though you think that NIO would
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: help them, I'm pretty sure there's you got all these
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: boosters not backing up the brink trucks to go pay
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: for a roster, you know what I mean. They have
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: so many holes too.
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: But that's why I think a SU is a great
- 1:21:30Speaker 4: pick for Dynasty because now you get to make all
- 1:21:33Speaker 4: that happen for sure.
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: And Dilly is the man. Dilly is the man.
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: The thing I love about Dillingham, Uh, that's the head
- 1:21:39Speaker 4: coach for SU.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: He doesn't want to go anywhere else.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: Was this.
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: That's where he's wanted to be forever, born in bred
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: Arizona cat what the high school with him, and that's
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: where he's what he wants to be.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: That's what the Texas Tech baseball coach said too before
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: he went to Texas.
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: Well.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: Great point. That's a good point. Dilly is the man.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: Though.
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: You sit there in his office and listen to his passion,
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: he oozes with it. Yeah, yeah, you like him. Should
- 1:22:06Speaker 3: we talk about Best Ball Week at DraftKings. Here's why, Taylor,

- 1:22:33Speaker 3: draft and that's it. You're set for the season. And
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: if you're still not convinced, check this one out.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: Boys.
- 1:22:37Speaker 3: This year's DraftKings is offering everyone a draft one get
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: one special, so your twenty dollars entry fee scores you

- 1:22:50Speaker 3: for all customers who enter the NFL Best Ball fifteen

- 1:23:00Speaker 3: of two millionaires. It's Beastball Week only on Draft Kings.
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: Bring back your reminder, JJ McCarthy, JJ McCarthy, Now you
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: play with a lot of good quarterbacks.
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: We can get into that in just a minute, but
- 1:23:10Speaker 4: you talk about the eleventh overall pick of a national
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: championship winning team. JJ McCarthy comes in after Kirk Cousins
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: is now in Atlanta, what have you seen from the boy?
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Yeah, he's been incredible, has he? Yeah? I mean, well
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: you see work. Yeah, he's grinding in the film room,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: he's grinding in the classroom. Like he's a baller on
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: the field obviously, but like to have a guy like,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: especially a rookie, you know, when you come into a
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: facility into the league, like you usually need to shut
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: your mouth and like go to work. And now that's
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: exactly what he did. Like he's earned the respect of
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: a lot of guys in there. Obviously, we have Sam
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: Darnold too, who is a baller and can can play
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: the game at a really high level. So it'll be
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: interesting what happens with the lot with those two. But
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: I'm excited that JJ is on our team and on
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: our squad. I mean, like I said, he's he's a leader.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: He did that in Michigan, and you know, I'm sure
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: it'll carry over the league just as well.
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: Before the draft happened, were you pretty bummed at Kirk
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: went to Atlanta?
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you know, I love Kirk. I mean,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: just a great dude. But you can't fault a guy.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: I mean, you can only play this game for so
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: long and so you know, you may as well make
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: the most of it as you know that he's done.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: I mean, he's made a lot of money in this league,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: and so he can't fault him at all. And obviously
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: that's where Julie, his wife is from, and so they
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: have their roots down there and they have family down there,
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: and yeah, I mean I wish nothing but the best
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: for Kirk. I mean, just a list guy, like just
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: such a good dude. Yeah, Like I mean, he he
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: still texts me like, hey, how you doing. What's going on?
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: You know, like, hey, can you you have any plays
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: that you know, like like that we ran last year
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: that would be good, you remember, you know, stuff like that.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: It just keeps in touch and so you gotta love
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: that for my guy, you know, because it's not at
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: the end of the day, it's not just you were
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: a teammate. You know, you're a friend. And so that's
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: that's pretty sweet from him.
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: You've got to play with some awesome quarterbacks. As Taylor
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: was saying, how would you if you did tear him out?
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: That's that's aggressive.
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: Well, you play with great quarterbacks.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: Quarterback, yeah, one hundred percent, They're they're all fantastic quarter
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: I mean like coming into the league, you know, and
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: having Stafford like that was huge for me because Stafford
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: was a guy that was like just get open, like
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: I'll throw it to you, you know, and so like
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: that kind of let me be free my first couple
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: of years in the league, Like Okay, all I gotta
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: do is beat this guy in front of me, and
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: I don't really have to worry about much and staff
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: will put it where I need to. And so that
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: was a real stepping stone and like where I've been
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: able to get into the league and then going from
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Staff to j G. You know, JG's is like he's
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: all about ball, so like he knows like where you
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: need to be at this certain time, like when you
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: need to be there, like at what depth and that
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: kind of stuff. So that kind of taught me like
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: the analytical part of it, like why I need to
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: be there based on coverages and like, okay, you know,
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: the league's gotten from you know, a lot of man
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: to three match to zone to you know, like cover
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: two and being able to you know, Ben Johnson was
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: the OC and and he was my tight ends coach
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: for a few years in Detroit, and so like he
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: taught me a lot of that, and then like he
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: when he became the OC, he was he let me
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: like read coverages and like, you know, hey, we have
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: a pressure right now, but like if it's cover two,
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: let's just hook on the inside of the numbers because
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: that's where the voids at, you know. So I think
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: that was huge for like another step into like actually
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: learning defenses and understanding like what's going on rather than like, hey,
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: just get open, which was awesome, Like I love that,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: don't get me wrong, you know. And then going from
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: that to Kirk was you know, it was kind of
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: like a mix honestly, because Kirk was like, hey, I
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: don't care how you get there, but like get there
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: in this timing, you know, because like I'm playing off
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: my back foot at this point, so just get open
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: at that time, you know. And that was huge and
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: kind of taught me a lot of like the quarterbacks progression,
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: like Okay, hey, I'm on the backside, I'm running a
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: basic route, but you know, they say it's at twelve,
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: but really I can push this to fourteen, give them
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: a little sauce at the top, and be there for
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: when Kirk needs me, you know, and you're you know,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: you're running a pressure. Okay, hey you're my first read.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: So if you don't get all the way to ten,
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: not a big deal. Like hit it at eight and
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: we'll move the sticks, you know. So like that was huge,
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: and just learning the quarterback position a little bit, you know,
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: and understanding what they are doing in the backfield, like
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: they're going from here to here to hear and that
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: was that was that was a nice thing for me
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: to like kind of learn. And so yeah, now to
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: I have JJ and and saying like those guys, those guys,
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: I mean, obviously they're kind of learning their own and
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: like figuring it out. Sam's obviously been in the league
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: for a while, but like JJ, to have him out
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: there and like, you know, he's he's trying to figure
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: it out, and like that it'll be It's cool because
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: like you can talk to him about different things and like, hey,
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: like what would you like here, and he's like, well,
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: I don't know, let's try it, you know. And so
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: then you go out there and you try it and
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: he's like I like that or I didn't like that.
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: You know, Like that'll be cool to kind of be
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: able to have that communication with a guy like that.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: That's young. So yeah, I mean I would. I've played
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: with a lot of really good quarterbacks and each one
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: of them have been different, which is cool.
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: How different is it for you having the quarterbacks with
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: all the understand what they already like them what they know,
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: to now being in the position you are where you're
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: like kind of teaching more than you are learning.
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's it's definitely, you know, Like I say,
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: it was really good because each quarterback that I've been
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: with is obviously at the top of the league, like
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: and then they have each have their own different little
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: like thing and like what they like. And so for
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: me to be in the position I'm in with right now,
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: with a young quarterback coming in and you can talk
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: to him about like, hey, this is what staff liked, Hey,
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: this is what Kirk liked, this is what JG liked,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: you know, and so and he I'm sure he can
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: take pieces from all that, you know, because and having
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: a head coach who as a quarterback. Yeah, and and
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: Ko is incredible. I mean, like Ko is one of
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: the one of the best, like people like head like
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: he just knows what's going on in football and like
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: he understands the game so well, and he's really good
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: at you know, you you get around coaches that understand
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: the game really well, but then they can't they're not
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: as good at teaching it. And Ko is like really
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: really good at being communicative and like teaching you like
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: why this is and like why you do that, and
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: and that's that's that's hard to come by because you know,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: I mean, everybody in the league knows the game, but
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: like to be able to communicate how they know the
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: game and like where they see it and how they
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: see it, that's different. And so to have him in
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: that room with you know, with JJ and it is
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: going to be a lot of fun for him, and
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: it's it's huge. And to have Ko around us, like
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: he comes in our room with Ange and you know,
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: sits down and then he'll come out and he'll talk
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: to us and on the field we're running routes, he'll
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: be like, hey, keep this more vertical because of this coverage,
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: or like hey keep this you know, you can spin
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: out of this a little quicker because of that. You know,
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: like you're the first read, you're the second rid, you're
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: the third reader, or the last read. You know that
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: that kind of stuff. So it's it's definitely you know that,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: Like my knowledge of the game has has grown a
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: lot just because of the people I've been around, and
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: the people in Minnesota are incredible.
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: Ben Johnson was somebody who is in kind of like
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: the you know, people wanting him to be their head coach.
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: Do you see him being a yeah, I mean he
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: can do like Ben can do whatever he wants to do.
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: I mean, he's one of those people that if he
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: puts his mind to something, like he'll he'll do it.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: And he is again another one of those people that
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: like is really good at teaching the game and breaks
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: it down into simplicity, like he'll like I can't you know.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: I mean like my rookie year, like I had a
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: tight ends coach who you know, wasn't the best in
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: the world, but like Ben and I would go and
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: like sit down and watch film and he was the
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: quality control of the guy at the time, you know.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: So we would go to another room, we would sit down,
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: watch film, and he would break down like, Hey, here's
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: Travis's film, this is why he does this, this is
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: why he's so good. Here's George's film, this is why
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: he does this. This is why he's so good and
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: then like being able to pull that and do it
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: like and understanding releases and like he'd break down, you know,
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: different route trees and like each part of the route,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: you know, and so that was huge. I mean Ben's
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: one of the best people. I mean, like I said,
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: I talked to Ben a lot. He can easily be
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: a head coach in this league. And you know, he's
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: a he's a guy that people like to play for.
- 1:32:19Speaker 3: So, yeah, take us to the moment where you got traded.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: Yeah, how was that for you?
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: Were you bitter at first?
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: No, I wouldn't say so. I mean, like I kind
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: of there was a lot of articles coming out because
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: we were I think one and six at the time.
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: Like articles of you being like on the trading block. Yeah,
- 1:32:38Speaker 3: because was that your contract year? Were you coming up.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: To the end of your contract? Like I was in
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: my fourth year at the time, and so like I
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: kind of like understood, Hey, either they're gonna want to
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: keep me here or they're going to want to get
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: rid of me and try to get some draft capital.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: And so like I and I was having a really
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: good year at the time with like not you know,
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: I wasn't getting the ball a ton, but like being
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: able to create separation and and when I did get
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: the ball and make the most of it, you know,
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: and and yeah, I think the last game I had
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: like three targets, three catches and like ninety yards or
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: something like that, because you know, we played Miami and
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: it was like I could understand. I understood that they were,
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: you know, they were kind of starting to get to
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: that point, and you know, you you have conversations you
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: see like what's going on, and you see the articles
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: coming out, and you know, you just have conversations with
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: the guys like, oh, like what's going on, you know,
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: and everyone's like you're not leaving. You know, you're not
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: going anywhere, you know, but they don't know because it's
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: really solely up to the GM, you know. And so
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: at that point, you know, I got a call on
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: Tuesday and I was like, Hey, you're getting traded to
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: the Vikings, and appreciate it and have a good one.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: I was like, all right, cool, sounds good.
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: Were you excited?
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Boomed, No, I was excited. I was excited. It was
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: a fresh start for me. Obviously, I knew like I
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: was going to play for coach O'Connell who was a
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: young coach and like it was his first year and
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: he has he was six and one or something like
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: that at the time, and like just a really up
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: and coming coach and then to be able to get
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: around him, and it was the best thing for me,
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: Like y'ad put me in the right place. Like I
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: love Minnesota. I love the team, you know, and and
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: it really starts at the top with Ko and and
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: the ownership, Like those guys are incredible, and it trickles
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: down like I mean, like I say, you know, you
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: have your pet, your head pt come down and like
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: watch you do things, and they want you to like
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: live a life outside of football and like love people,
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: you know, like that that doesn't come around in the
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: in this league very much. I mean, you guys know
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: how cut throat it is, and so to have that
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: and like to build relationships with those people in Minnesota
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: and with the Vikings has been incredible. Like you don't
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: find a bad human being at any point. Whenever you
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: turn a corner, there's there's somebody that you know and
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: you'll you can have a conversation with them for thirty
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: minutes and just like just about life it's not about anything.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: And you know, if there's a bad person that's in
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: the facility, it's found out really quick and they're gone.
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: You know, like that's just what it is. And so
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: they really only attract good people. They really preach love
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: and like being a team and like actually as much
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: as the team as you can be in the NFL,
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: you know, like that it's hard because everybody's in and
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: out the door, but they're incredible. Like it's really the
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: best place for me, and I hope I'm I'm there
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: for a long time.
- 1:35:39Speaker 4: Take me through the timeline a little bit more of
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: like how the whole trading things started, Like when the
- 1:35:44Speaker 4: rumor started. Who was your first call? Because I know
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: there's a lot of people probably listening to this that
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: don't know what goes on behind closed doors in the
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: locker room. Yeah, and a lot of times guys find
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: out they're traded on the ticker and they just then
- 1:35:55Speaker 4: they then all of a sudden they get a call
- 1:35:56Speaker 4: from the GM for you when the room and meals start,
- 1:35:59Speaker 4: and then one of the actual transaction happened.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: The rumor mil started I think the week before I
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: got traded, like that week going up to the trade deadline,
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: Like there was a bunch of articles that were coming
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: out like hey do we trade Howkinson? Like who could
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: we trade? You know? And then I just called Ben because,
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: like I said, I have the best relationship. I had
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: the best relationship with him at the time, and Dan
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: was new ish I think at the time. I think
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: he might have been a year in. And so I
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: called Ben and it was just like, hey, like what's
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: like what are they thinking? He's like, dude, you don't
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: really have anything to worry about, you know, Like I
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: love you. I think everybody around here has a lot
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: of respect for you and what you're doing. You're a
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: good player, and I don't think that's the thing, you know,
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: And so I was like, all right, cool, sounds good.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: And then we lost to Miami that week that and
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: I was coming off of a game where against Seattle
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: where I had like one hundred and fifty six hundred
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: and seventy six yards for two touchdowns. Like I was
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: coming off a game and you know, we lost the game,
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: but you know, I was, I was playing well, and
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: so I wasn't too worried about it. And then Tuesday
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: came around and I woke up and I was like,
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: we'll see, put my phone on the ringer, you know.
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: And I was in the facility for a few hours
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: just doing PTE and recovery stuff, and then I left
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: go to go to a chiropractor and got a call
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: on my way to the chiropractor and was told I
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: was traded.
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: And then even up to that call, you're you're you're
- 1:37:26Speaker 3: worries about being traded when pretty much put the rest
- 1:37:28Speaker 3: because of your conversation with coach Johnson.
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean pretty much, like I like, I still
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: had a feeling obviously, you know, Neil kind of knows
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: a lot of that stuff and he like can hear
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: stuff and and so I kind of, you know, still
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: was like, Okay, I'm my I it's definitely a possibility. Like,
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: but like for them to trade me within the vision, like,
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: I wasn't expecting that at all. But I mean I'm like, again,
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: I'm so blessed and able to be there. So I
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: was excited when it happened, But yeah, I wasn't. I
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: wasn't really necessarily expecting it, but came and it's been
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: a blessing.
- 1:38:05Speaker 4: Is there a level of with the Lions and they
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: haven't won a division in like the last thirty years
- 1:38:10Speaker 4: until this past year, and then you leave and now
- 1:38:13Speaker 4: they're having that crazy success. Is there a part of
- 1:38:15Speaker 4: you that's kind of like bitter towards that success.
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: I mean, you know, obviously they're still in division, so
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: you like want to beat them and you want to
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: win the division as you personally. But I mean yeah,
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: not not not crazy, but like I mean you you
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: see it and you're like like, well, what's going on?
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: You know, you talk to people and they're just like,
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: you know, like that I played with and they're just
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: like it just started clicking, like there's nothing you and
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: everything just came into place. Well, I mean, you think
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: guys in there the first like I was only there
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: for six games when coach Ben got moved up to
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: OC like OC, so like it was a learning curve
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: for everybody, Like it's not. That's one of those places too.
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: Like terminology is a lot different, like Ben makes it complicated,
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: so it's easy, you know, like if that makes sense,
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: Like you know, each way is a different term. Like
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: so if you're on the right side, it'd be like
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: I don't know, it'd be one term and if you're
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: on the if you're going to the left, same play,
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: it'd be a different term, so like you can still
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: do all that at the line, but it was a
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: learning curve for a lot of guys because that's not
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: what you do, you know, and they'd be code named
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: so like lobster and whatever, you know, and so that
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: was a learning curve for everybody. And so everybody was
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: trying to figure it out and get used to it,
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: and there was a lot of hiccups throughout that first
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: seven games, and then we all started kind of getting
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: it after like week five and starting to kind of
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: figure it out. And then you know, now they they've
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: gotten it to click. And Ben's I mean, there's no
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: doubt in my mind that Ben's like a huge part
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: of that because he's just you know, kind of like
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: a mastermind and that and that kind of s and yeah,
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: I mean, but I like bitterness, Like I I really
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: I was happy for like the boys that I used
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: to play with, you know, like obviously they I was
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: in it for a long time. It's a it's not
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: fun to like go out and play and not really
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: have any success, and then you know, for them to
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: have some success, Like I was happy for the guys
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: that I played with, but you know, I mean to
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: obviously be in the same division. There's a little bit
- 1:40:26Speaker 1: of that because you guys want to be the team.
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: We want to be the team.
- 1:40:29Speaker 4: And also, like every player ever played with, they got
- 1:40:31Speaker 4: traded or left their team. Anytime we played that team,
- 1:40:35Speaker 4: there was that was circle that was like we gotta hey, boys,
- 1:40:38Speaker 4: we gotta get these guys.
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: If we can lose them all, but not this one.
- 1:40:43Speaker 3: This is the one we have to win. Yeah, So
- 1:40:45Speaker 3: I just didn't know if you had any of those
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: those types of feelings.
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: I mean, you always get a little juiced up when
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: you play them, you know, I mean you just want
- 1:40:50Speaker 1: to see them. And and you know, at that point,
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: like I said, when I got hurt, that was that
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: game and it was for really a playoff birth for us.
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: And so that was that was a huge game, and
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: you know it could have gone either way at the
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: time that I got injured and then you know, I
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: get injured and it's still a close game. But I
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: think that was it was tough for all of us.
- 1:41:12Speaker 4: So when the rumor mill starts, are you did you
- 1:41:16Speaker 4: and your girl ever play the game of like, hey,
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: this place would be cool, Hey what about this place.
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: Well, we heard Miami. That was the biggest thing.
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: So I kind of got excited about that, didn't you.
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: It was I mean it's warm down there, and you know,
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: but I mean when it when you talk about Minnesota
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: and their their name kind of started getting like we heard,
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: like Neil heard their name, and I was like, that'd
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: be nice because it's my Like my family goes every game.
- 1:41:39Speaker 1: My parents go to every game. They haven't missed a
- 1:41:42Speaker 1: game since I've been you know, thirteen, and so, like
- 1:41:46Speaker 1: they were driving to Detroit all the time, and that's
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: eight hours there, not including Chicago traffic, you know, and
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: then eight hours back and so it's only four hours
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: from my hometowns, and so it's incredible for all of
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: them and and for me to be able to be
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: around family. My mom's from Minnesota, so I have a
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: bunch of extended family there. So if I ever need anything,
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: you know, I'm able to call them. And I mean,
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: there's there is such thing as Minnesota nice. You know,
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: like people around the block around you in your neighborhood,
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: like they just love and they want to help out,
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: you know, without being weird about it. You know, like
- 1:42:26Speaker 1: you know how some people can be when you know
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: you're you are who you are, and then they're like
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: getting a little too close, you know, But that's usually
- 1:42:34Speaker 1: not a thing there. So it's it's been, it's been awesome.
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: And like I said, the facilities are beautiful, the brand new.
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: There's a reason it gets, you know, top two last
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: year was number one in the NFLPA score, Like they
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: do it right in Minnesota, and it's I'm just super
- 1:42:53Speaker 1: lucky to be there.
- 1:42:55Speaker 3: Do you take us talk about the temperature of last year,
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: cause you guys started off, how'd you guys start? Did
- 1:43:00Speaker 3: you start zero and four? Yeah, something like that, which
- 1:43:02Speaker 3: was I know had to be insanely frustrating because when
- 1:43:05Speaker 3: we would do S and P and everything else, it's like, yo,
- 1:43:07Speaker 3: this is the best four lost team in the NFL. Like,
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: you guys only lost games because whether it be a
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: bad turnover, somebody dropping a ball at a crucial time, Like,
- 1:43:15Speaker 3: how frustrating was it? Because I know I would almost
- 1:43:17Speaker 3: assume that Ko the post game conversations and everything else
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: is like you're trying to keep everybody up. You guys
- 1:43:23Speaker 3: start to make a run, a very small run, until
- 1:43:27Speaker 3: Kirk blows out his achilles take us back to early
- 1:43:30Speaker 3: last year and the temperature of everything they took over
- 1:43:33Speaker 3: and right, and then Dobbs comes in, which is, yeah,
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: that's an awesome story.
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: It was a it was a wild year and in
- 1:43:42Speaker 1: terms of a lot of things. You know, we were
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: we obviously were a good team, like we knew it
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: going into the season, Like we were really excited about
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: the season, especially coming off of thirteen one year the
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: year before. And so you know, we lose the first game,
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: you know, and it's like, right, there's turnovers, Like that's
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: on us, like we need to win, you know, and
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: then lose second game. Was the third game and we
- 1:44:06Speaker 1: really got to pick. Yeah, it's like like everybody had
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: like a you know, your but hole gets pretty tight
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: and like you're just like let's go, like what are
- 1:44:13Speaker 1: we doing? Like we're we are so good and we're
- 1:44:15Speaker 1: not showing it on Sundays, which was frustrating for everybody
- 1:44:19Speaker 1: and including the coaching staff. And so, I mean it
- 1:44:23Speaker 1: was turnovers, Like turnovers are the biggest thing, you guys, know,
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: it's all about the ball, Like you get those presentations
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: every week and you know, we just couldn't hold onto it.
- 1:44:32Speaker 1: And that was like the biggest issue. And then we
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: lose JJ and you know, and yeah, well we lose
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: JJ first, we kind of go on a just oh
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: yeah's day. Yeah, we lose Jets. We lose Jets first
- 1:44:51Speaker 1: and with a you know, a hamstring, and then we
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: start going on a run and it's like okay, like
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: we're we're good, Like, let's get back and you know,
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: when Jets comes, we'll go off and we'll start playing
- 1:45:03Speaker 1: in the in the in the playoffs and and we'll
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: have a successful year. And so, you know, we start
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: on a run and then you know, obviously Green Bay
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: happens and we're playing really well and we're up by
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: quite a bit and you know, we come out of
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: half and we have a full swing, full two touchdown
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: swing and it was huge for us. And then Kirk
- 1:45:22Speaker 1: goes down in the last you know a couple of
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: drives and it's like, what the heck just happened? You know,
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: like because nobody knows, you know, you don't know, and
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: he's over there like I just rolled my ankle. I
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: just rolled my ankle and your achilles is gone. Yeah,
- 1:45:37Speaker 1: and then he gets carted off and you're like, oh man, yeah,
- 1:45:41Speaker 1: like what's going on, you know, and you get into
- 1:45:43Speaker 1: the locker room and we won the game, but it's
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: kind of like a somber feeling because you you lost Kirk,
- 1:45:48Speaker 1: who again, like I've talked about Kirk, he's one of
- 1:45:51Speaker 1: the best dudes, and so you don't want to see
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: that from him. But yeah, and then the next week
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: Dobbs come and then the next week, yeah, we're in
- 1:46:03Speaker 1: we're in Atlanta and and Dobbs comes in, and you know,
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: we're going through the whole quarterback thing, you know, we
- 1:46:12Speaker 1: have you know, you start one guy and then he
- 1:46:16Speaker 1: gets injured with a with a concussion, and then you know,
- 1:46:20Speaker 1: Dobbs is up basically and you're like, okay, like let's
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: let's let's see what.
- 1:46:24Speaker 3: It is he got in what Tuesday, Wednesday?
- 1:46:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and he doesn't know the offense, so he's like
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: just repeating what he's hearing, but he doesn't know, and
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: he's like, hey, what's my first rate And you're like,
- 1:46:35Speaker 1: it's the left.
- 1:46:38Speaker 3: Changing time to corral around him and help him out.
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: That's kind of what it was. You know, we were
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: all in the huddle and we're kind of like just
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: communicating to him as well as him communicating to us
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: like hey, like because he was like, hey, what's it? Like,
- 1:46:51Speaker 1: what's this mean? Like what's this route call like? Or
- 1:46:55Speaker 1: what's my concept? You know, we have fun, you know,
- 1:46:58Speaker 1: flag under and so it's like, you know that's what
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: that means, you know, like this is your first read,
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: this is your second read. And so he was balling
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: that week and he used his legs a lot, and
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: we were able to do like a scramble drill kind
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: of and you know that's I I hadn't really had
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: that for many of my quarterbacks and so to have
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: him out there and he was you know, that was
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: that was kind of fun because you.
- 1:47:20Speaker 3: Guys just play some backyard.
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: Yeah, like backyard. It's exactly what it.
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: Was expectation to everyone expect you guys.
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: Right, And he does a game winning drive on the
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: last last drive, which was huge, you know. And then
- 1:47:34Speaker 1: we come out the next week and I actually broke
- 1:47:37Speaker 1: my rib in the Atlanta game, fractured my two ribs
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: on my on my right side. I still got a
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: nice little bump. And then the next week is the
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: Saints and yeah, yeah, went off. I'd like I see
- 1:47:54Speaker 1: I had uh the one thirty five in the first half,
- 1:47:57Speaker 1: with Dobbs playing and that was that was sick. You know,
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: we had a lot of fun. We came out hot.
- 1:48:02Speaker 1: And then does one.
- 1:48:04Speaker 3: As as I'm sorry to cut you off, that when
- 1:48:06Speaker 3: Dobbs comes in and you know he's obviously going to
- 1:48:08Speaker 3: take over, uh the next week does the game plan
- 1:48:11Speaker 3: is all about like simplifying, Yeah, make it easy for
- 1:48:13Speaker 3: him and.
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: For sure, yeah, I mean like just our you know,
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: you know, you have your first day, first five day
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: camp install plays like that's kind of what we were running,
- 1:48:23Speaker 1: which were was easy for us. And he was in
- 1:48:26Speaker 1: the he was he was like I was when I
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: first got traded. You know, he was like nodding, eating
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: with the guys. He was in the in the he
- 1:48:33Speaker 1: would go grab his food and then go to the
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: film room and and like kind of learn everything and
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: then a lot of communication, a lot of like talking
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: to the guys and and figuring it out. But yeah,
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: I mean he was. He was incredible. I mean, I
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: love playing with Josh. He's a great dude, and he's special.
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: I mean with his legs and everything. He's a special
- 1:48:52Speaker 1: talent for sure.
- 1:48:53Speaker 3: So I mean, yeah, for anybody coming in week up,
- 1:48:56Speaker 3: especially at the quarterback position. Yeah, slinging in a little
- 1:48:58Speaker 3: bit game winning drive.
- 1:48:59Speaker 4: I just imagine all the guys in the huddle and
- 1:49:00Speaker 4: then Dobb's getting the call and he's just repeating it,
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: and all the guys were like, this is what I have.
- 1:49:04Speaker 4: This like across the board, this is the protection.
- 1:49:06Speaker 3: That's exactly fucking I got half that. We're going to
- 1:49:08Speaker 3: figure out what goes on now. It's basically, hey, we're
- 1:49:10Speaker 3: just running a boot here right, yeah, boot to the
- 1:49:12Speaker 3: right look for us.
- 1:49:13Speaker 1: And then Garrett our center, you know, he would he
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: was like at the point where you know, because a
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: lot of the time the quarterback will change or like
- 1:49:20Speaker 1: telling you to to o it and stuff like that
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: for the tackle, and Garrett's out there like, hey, Toto,
- 1:49:26Speaker 1: you know, like calling all that stuff is probably taking
- 1:49:29Speaker 1: it off.
- 1:49:30Speaker 4: Having a smart center is the biggest, one of the
- 1:49:33Speaker 4: biggest assets you can possibly have.
- 1:49:35Speaker 1: Our whole line was like a quarterback out.
- 1:49:37Speaker 3: There, Ben something.
- 1:49:38Speaker 4: Yeah, a lot of guys a lot of times Tannheill
- 1:49:40Speaker 4: wuondn't even wor well, tanneh will be great, but anybody
- 1:49:43Speaker 4: else who was ever and there, Ben would be like,
- 1:49:45Speaker 4: I'll just I'll do the protection and then that's one thing.
- 1:49:47Speaker 4: The quarterback doesn't have to listen to it at all.
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: Yeah, he's kind of.
- 1:49:49Speaker 4: Wait for Ben. He'll point one way back. I guess
- 1:49:51Speaker 4: we're going this way. But Ben would also manipulate shit too.
- 1:49:55Speaker 4: We'd be like we were playing Houston one time and
- 1:49:58Speaker 4: it was like forty two to fourteen and JJ is
- 1:50:01Speaker 4: at the nose and man goes, fuck it, are puts
- 1:50:03Speaker 4: me one on one, and then everybody else is it'll
- 1:50:08Speaker 4: r R sorry Taylor, my Jesus Christ.
- 1:50:11Speaker 3: It's a bit of a deal, dude. They always have
- 1:50:13Speaker 3: the best haircuts. Why because they go.
- 1:50:15Speaker 4: To sport Clips, Dude, John McGarty. Because this month's sport
- 1:50:19Speaker 4: Clips Haircuts is taking their MVP haircut experience to the
- 1:50:22Speaker 4: ultimate level throughout the month of July. You get to
- 1:50:25Speaker 4: relax twice and pay once because Ultimate MVP is the
- 1:50:28Speaker 4: same price as the standard MVP. Also, just in time
- 1:50:32Speaker 4: to beat the heat, not necessarily because it's absolutely the
- 1:50:35Speaker 4: hottest has ever been in Nashville right now, the refreshing
- 1:50:38Speaker 4: chilled towel is back. That means you get double the
- 1:50:43Speaker 4: hot or chill towel action, double the what's that.
- 1:50:46Speaker 3: Word, Suzzy satisfaction?
- 1:50:47Speaker 4: Suy Sudsy is a tough word. It's a tough word.
- 1:50:51Speaker 3: The D makes it hard.
- 1:50:52Speaker 4: Yeah, the D throw it in there, sudsy satisfaction of
- 1:50:55Speaker 4: a massage, shampoo and conditioning treatment. If they and if
- 1:50:59Speaker 4: they could find away to double yours, don't laugh.
- 1:51:02Speaker 3: Don't laugh.
- 1:51:03Speaker 4: It makes it way harder for me to laugh. To
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: double the sports on the screens, they would double that too.
- 1:51:10Speaker 4: When it comes to your hair, go to the specialists
- 1:51:13Speaker 4: who were trained in men's hair. Sport clips is the

- 1:51:20Speaker 4: twenty four.
- 1:51:21Speaker 3: Hey, I appreciate the little.
- 1:51:22Speaker 4: Mouse going across the line too, because my brain was
- 1:51:25Speaker 4: kind of getting foggy there first, don't.
- 1:51:26Speaker 3: Do the last. Don't you just got the mouse going across?
- 1:51:30Speaker 1: Oh? There, it isn't Why we have that? Love it?
- 1:51:34Speaker 3: That's awesome. We have some Uh, do you have anything
- 1:51:37Speaker 3: else to hit? I have a couple of fun little segments.
- 1:51:40Speaker 3: Let's do some segments.
- 1:51:41Speaker 1: Shout out, no, free, shout out?
- 1:51:42Speaker 3: Yeah, let me let me.
- 1:51:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you go, I'm in on that.
- 1:51:46Speaker 3: You sing to go pee?
- 1:51:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been going for a while and it.
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: Will make you feel better. I don't know if you're
- 1:51:52Speaker 3: like me, my back and asses sweating violently over there,
- 1:51:55Speaker 3: like leaning over. Yeah, now you can do it. Yeah,
- 1:51:58Speaker 3: you can deviate it. However, so if you phillip bullets coming,
- 1:52:00Speaker 3: you can either slide if you feel like you need
- 1:52:02Speaker 3: to do a full slide and the back of block
- 1:52:04Speaker 3: the one on the end, but you'd want to slide
- 1:52:06Speaker 3: it away from the back so that way he can
- 1:52:08Speaker 3: pick up the end and I have to go across
- 1:52:09Speaker 3: the protection and I have to go across the formation.
- 1:52:13Speaker 1: Yeah. They put me on a few this year. It's tough. Yeah,
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: that Jordan Addison one when like right before half on
- 1:52:21Speaker 1: the forty nine ers. Yeah, they put me one on
- 1:52:24Speaker 1: one with Bosa fifty nine protection.
- 1:52:26Speaker 3: How was that a.
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: Die slow death? We've scored a touchdown?
- 1:52:30Speaker 3: So you handle them.
- 1:52:31Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I did my job.
- 1:52:34Speaker 3: You win in nine times out of ten on Nick Bosa.
- 1:52:38Speaker 1: Don't do that to me. Don't do that.
- 1:52:41Speaker 3: I feel like tight ends they do get, they get,
- 1:52:43Speaker 3: they do get a reputation of if you're one on one,
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: if you're a pass rusher, if you're one on one
- 1:52:47Speaker 3: with the tight end, you must win.
- 1:52:48Speaker 4: Basically you have to win every single time.
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it doesn't always happen, but you.
- 1:52:53Speaker 3: Pride yourself on the blocking.
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: I do, I do all right, Yeah, I do my best.
- 1:52:59Speaker 3: I gotta I can ever ask for. I got a
- 1:53:01Speaker 3: couple of fun watch job done right, A couple of
- 1:53:03Speaker 3: fun questions before we get into our segments. Number one
- 1:53:06Speaker 3: prediction for Minnesota in twenty twenty four.
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: Like a record prediction.
- 1:53:10Speaker 3: Yeah, let's hear it.
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: Oh man, I don't know how many seventeen seventeen?
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: You know, that's the only right answer.
- 1:53:27Speaker 1: That is the right answer.
- 1:53:29Speaker 3: Also, which my second question? Which quarterback chewed your ass
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: the most?
- 1:53:36Speaker 1: Oh? I got a couple I got. I got a
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: couple of lickings from staff.
- 1:53:40Speaker 3: Really, yeah, that's what that would have been, my guess.
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: But I but like that was the best thing for me.
- 1:53:46Speaker 1: Productive like yeah, like it was. It was great. And
- 1:53:50Speaker 1: I was a rookie and so like I was, I
- 1:53:51Speaker 1: didn't really know like what was going on, so to
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: have that and like and you know how you like,
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: well maybe you don't, but like Staff is like one
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: of those people that like doesn't really like he's not
- 1:54:03Speaker 1: allowed talk or he's soft spoken, like and he's just
- 1:54:05Speaker 1: a boy, Like he's one of the boys. So he
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: wants to get closer. Like I went out to dinner
- 1:54:10Speaker 1: with Staff and his wife and you know a few times,
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: and then like on Sundays, like if I screwed something up,
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: you'd get into me, and that that's like it's a
- 1:54:20Speaker 1: good feeling, you know, Like I mean.
- 1:54:21Speaker 3: Not just that. You remember what's one that like sits
- 1:54:24Speaker 3: there and like, hey, Staff, remember that one time and
- 1:54:26Speaker 3: you ripped my ass.
- 1:54:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I actually caught a touchdown and he ripped me,
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: but it was it was my fault one hundred pc.
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: Like we were I can't remember who we were playing,
- 1:54:38Speaker 1: but we were on like the three yard line and
- 1:54:41Speaker 1: there was this play that he would check to, but
- 1:54:44Speaker 1: the whole line was slide left and we'd leave the
- 1:54:46Speaker 1: d N free and because a lot of the time,
- 1:54:50Speaker 1: like the d N would have to carry the flat
- 1:54:54Speaker 1: and then they would screw up. So it was like
- 1:54:57Speaker 1: a three man set over on the right, and he
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: checked to it, and like I was supposed to bluff
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: the end to like make him think I was rushing
- 1:55:06Speaker 1: rather than pull me to the flat, but I just
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: kind of went to the flat, and then that leaves
- 1:55:12Speaker 1: him a free runner, you know, rather than the end.
- 1:55:14Speaker 1: So he was. He like turned around and he saw
- 1:55:17Speaker 1: the defensive endcoming. He side arms it score a touchdown,
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: and I was like, let's go. And then I just
- 1:55:23Speaker 1: see Staff shaking his head, run to the sideline, and
- 1:55:26Speaker 1: then when I get to the sideline, he just gives it.
- 1:55:28Speaker 1: He lays it into me. But I needed it, like
- 1:55:30Speaker 1: I was. I think that might have been my first
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: or second year, and it was like, you know, you
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: gotta know that stuff though, so it was like the
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: little details, you know, but like so I appreciated it
- 1:55:40Speaker 1: so like there was never anything where like I've never
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: gotten an ass shooting where I'm like I didn't deserve it,
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: you know, Like so I kind of respect it. And
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: I was like, all right, go on my bad, Like
- 1:55:51Speaker 1: I'll get it next time.
- 1:55:52Speaker 3: You got you gotta touchdown. Yeah, Like hey, it's not
- 1:55:56Speaker 3: good enough. This is not good. It's not the result.
- 1:55:59Speaker 1: Yeah, now you gotta love that.
- 1:56:02Speaker 3: Oh you you want your prediction for Iowa.
- 1:56:05Speaker 1: They're gonna be Nebraska. What uh? What's college football? Not
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: twelve twelve games, eight win season for sure? So I'm
- 1:56:15Speaker 1: gonna go nine and three?
- 1:56:17Speaker 3: Okay, strong who they lose to pull up the schedule?
- 1:56:22Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you.
- 1:56:28Speaker 3: Gonna get a wager.
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: Amen, Yeah, I'm down. I'm in on that.
- 1:56:34Speaker 3: Whoever loses you have to do a video saying that
- 1:56:39Speaker 3: this school is basically like your alpha male, your daddy.
- 1:56:43Speaker 1: And this program is better than our program. I'm in.
- 1:56:47Speaker 1: I like that.
- 1:56:50Speaker 4: You guys got a pretty pretty easy schedule here.
- 1:56:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, dude, we might go twelve and al you
- 1:57:00Speaker 1: guys are not.
- 1:57:00Speaker 3: You guys are gonna.
- 1:57:03Speaker 1: There's an Ohio state. I would say that one's a
- 1:57:06Speaker 1: close one. Let's just call that one a loss, just
- 1:57:08Speaker 1: to be fair, right, Washington, that'll be a tough one.
- 1:57:13Speaker 1: Do you want to call that a loss two weeks
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: in a row. I don't know if that can happen
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: in her KF.
- 1:57:17Speaker 3: Though, Washing is at Iowa too.
- 1:57:21Speaker 1: Yeah, so I think we get that one. Is u
- 1:57:26Speaker 1: c l A any good this year?
- 1:57:27Speaker 3: No, Wisconsin is gonna be tough?
- 1:57:29Speaker 1: Man? Are they last year? They were the last?
- 1:57:31Speaker 3: He's now into his second okay, his second year. I
- 1:57:34Speaker 3: think they'll be tough.
- 1:57:35Speaker 1: That will be a tough one. Michigan State's not ain't
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: good anymore? Right, No, they're not any good? Yeah, okay, Wisconsin,
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: I'll take that as a now. Okay, but where's the
- 1:57:45Speaker 1: where's the one? More? I don't see the one looks
- 1:57:47Speaker 1: like Friday? I like. I like ten and too. I
- 1:57:51Speaker 1: like ten and two. I know we're not losing.
- 1:57:53Speaker 3: It's always right after.
- 1:57:54Speaker 1: I know we're not losing Black Friday. That's never a thing.
- 1:57:58Speaker 3: That's what you'll do too. You lose, what you'll do
- 1:58:02Speaker 3: to lose. You promote our Black Friday sale?
- 1:58:06Speaker 1: Okay, all right, what's your black Wait? What's your Black Friday?
- 1:58:09Speaker 3: Just like Bustings merch Off, you're talking about how great
- 1:58:13Speaker 3: Nebraska is, how they're way better than we ever can
- 1:58:15Speaker 3: think to be. Yeah Friday, Yeah, I like it.
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: I have to give you.
- 1:58:22Speaker 4: Ten and two is not a.
- 1:58:23Speaker 3: Bad not a bad deal there, it's not.
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: No, it's not. That's very much.
- 1:58:28Speaker 3: Is that what you guys were last year?
- 1:58:31Speaker 1: No? I think we had nine, right, you might have
- 1:58:33Speaker 1: been a ten win team last year. You guys might be, well,
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: I don't know what's that because we lost that BS
- 1:58:41Speaker 1: one with Cooper Michigan.
- 1:58:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he was not.
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: I know it was not that it was a terrible
- 1:58:49Speaker 1: And then like this like what what we're talking about?
- 1:58:53Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys are like a a smelly, a stinky
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: good team.
- 1:58:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it doesn't always mean it looks good.
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: Always pretty good.
- 1:59:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but they you know, they kind of they kind
- 1:59:03Speaker 3: of have a stinch. It's never pretty, but it's beautiful, right,
- 1:59:05Speaker 3: They kind of a stinch to them. We got to
- 1:59:07Speaker 3: clean them up. How can we clean them up? Duke
- 1:59:10Speaker 3: Cannon shout Out No Free Shoutout is presented by Duke Cannon.
- 1:59:14Speaker 3: Product that's not for clowns. This thick body wash Buffalo trace.

- 1:59:49Speaker 3: If you're unfamiliar with Shoutout no Free Shoutout, it's we're
- 1:59:52Speaker 3: shouting out simple things of the world. Whether it can
- 1:59:54Speaker 3: be a person It can be an event, it can
- 1:59:55Speaker 3: be a little moment. Recently, I want to say Quentin Nelson,
- 1:59:58Speaker 3: he shouted out or maybe he did the cold water
- 2:00:01Speaker 3: fountains back in high school, back in the elementary school
- 2:00:04Speaker 3: day JP, I want to shout out the wall, like
- 2:00:06Speaker 3: a concrete wall something.
- 2:00:09Speaker 1: I think I got one. Yeah, could be a person first, Yeah, sure?
- 2:00:13Speaker 3: Or do you want to hear one of.
- 2:00:14Speaker 1: Us go first?
- 2:00:15Speaker 3: No? I got it?
- 2:00:16Speaker 1: Okay, shout out, no free, shout out right. Airport dryer
- 2:00:23Speaker 1: hand dryers nowadays. I was washing my hands at the
- 2:00:27Speaker 1: airport the other day. I flew back to Iowa City
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: for like three hours and wash my hands. And they
- 2:00:34Speaker 1: have them now where it's dual sided. It's right next
- 2:00:36Speaker 1: to the to the wash, to the sink, and dual
- 2:00:40Speaker 1: sided right there actually work because you know they never
- 2:00:42Speaker 1: really work when you got the one pipe and then
- 2:00:46Speaker 1: you're hitting it like yeah, but that one was legit.
- 2:00:49Speaker 1: I really is that the one, the one right next
- 2:00:54Speaker 1: to the sink, and it's like and it's both hands too,
- 2:00:58Speaker 1: like you don't have to do one at a time.
- 2:00:59Speaker 1: It's pert effects and in your brain thinking like how
- 2:01:02Speaker 1: do I do this? It was a tat on top
- 2:01:09Speaker 1: by the Saint. It was incredible. I was I was
- 2:01:11Speaker 1: thoroughly impressed.
- 2:01:12Speaker 4: Man, you gotta find that.
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: That's one of the shout no free shout out to
- 2:01:16Speaker 1: good shout out, thank you. This dude was nice.
- 2:01:20Speaker 3: I do have one ahead my shout on no free
- 2:01:22Speaker 3: shout out. I don't know how people are going to
- 2:01:24Speaker 3: react to this, but overall it's a very positive thing.
- 2:01:27Speaker 3: My old man he quit drinking. Really, yes, my dad
- 2:01:31Speaker 3: quit drinking you see. Yeah, big big shout out to
- 2:01:34Speaker 3: Bill Compton.
- 2:01:35Speaker 4: Christmas is gonna suck this year.
- 2:01:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Away till when he was telling my little brother
- 2:01:43Speaker 3: Wyatt and Scott when they came over. He had them
- 2:01:46Speaker 3: over and basically was like, I'm glad you guys both
- 2:01:48Speaker 3: came here and got some bad news. And they thought
- 2:01:50Speaker 3: it was like a really bad thing. He's like, I
- 2:01:52Speaker 3: quit drinking beer, and they're like, what the fuck are
- 2:01:54Speaker 3: you talking about? He quit drinking beer. He quit drinking alcohol,
- 2:01:58Speaker 3: quit drinking alcohol. He's a beer guys.
- 2:02:01Speaker 1: I know.
- 2:02:02Speaker 3: If he was like, I'm gonna go harder. Yeah, I
- 2:02:03Speaker 3: mean this is this is somebody who puts down at
- 2:02:05Speaker 3: least probably six eighty Yeah.
- 2:02:07Speaker 4: I mean Bill Staple is going to a party, finding
- 2:02:09Speaker 4: the best chair, sitting in and putting in a lip it,
- 2:02:12Speaker 4: and drinking as many cold beer as possibly can with
- 2:02:14Speaker 4: a fact that is Bill Compton.
- 2:02:15Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, but he quit man, he quit cold
- 2:02:17Speaker 3: turkey and he said it was not hard really, And
- 2:02:20Speaker 3: he shot me a text the other day. I asked
- 2:02:22Speaker 3: how everything's going, because this is about this is about
- 2:02:26Speaker 3: two weeks old, and I asked how he was doing.
- 2:02:29Speaker 3: He said, I've been owning my mornings by by the
- 2:02:31Speaker 3: way up before seven thirty, even on weekends, getting my
- 2:02:34Speaker 3: walks in weights are getting up close to what I
- 2:02:36Speaker 3: was doing a few years ago. So I'm fired up
- 2:02:38Speaker 3: for Bill Compton drink and I think it's good that
- 2:02:44Speaker 3: because he'll be watching this. It's good for the public
- 2:02:46Speaker 3: accountability as well. So he's got to stay true to it,
- 2:02:48Speaker 3: has to. But very fired up.
- 2:02:50Speaker 4: And the minute if he does relapse it anyway, you
- 2:02:53Speaker 4: have to call him out in this podcast.
- 2:02:54Speaker 1: I have to.
- 2:02:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you hear that, Dad, We have to call
- 2:02:57Speaker 3: you out of releson anyway. But I'm fired up for him.
- 2:03:00Speaker 4: But Christmas is cool, Bill, because I need you for
- 2:03:02Speaker 4: digit houses.
- 2:03:04Speaker 3: My house. It's like it doesn't count. Yeah, yeah, holidays
- 2:03:07Speaker 3: don't count.
- 2:03:08Speaker 4: The holidays don't count. My shout for show is not
- 2:03:11Speaker 4: a small shout out, and it's going to go to
- 2:03:14Speaker 4: o FB, which stands for oh Yeah, I'm a fuck
- 2:03:17Speaker 4: boys Now. I went to a wedding in Canada, and
- 2:03:22Speaker 4: this wedding was a unique wedding like I've never seen before.
- 2:03:24Speaker 3: It was one hundred people. Everyone went to this big field, one.
- 2:03:28Speaker 4: Hundred and eighty acres at this guy's property, and they
- 2:03:30Speaker 4: had trailers. Everyone just stayed in trailers and everyone's kind
- 2:03:34Speaker 4: of camping out and doing those things. And I meet
- 2:03:36Speaker 4: Dallas Sanger, Dallas Sanger's tailor's cousin, my wife's cousin. And
- 2:03:40Speaker 4: Dallas is a good boy, top notch cat. But I
- 2:03:43Speaker 4: met his friends, and his friends were the best group
- 2:03:47Speaker 4: of friends I have ever seen in my entire life.
- 2:03:51Speaker 4: They all have o FB tattoo that they all gave
- 2:03:53Speaker 4: each other. There's a tat, there's a tattoo gun that
- 2:03:56Speaker 4: they're all sharing the same needle and tattooing each other
- 2:03:59Speaker 4: different things. But that's not why I'm shouting them out.
- 2:04:02Speaker 4: Everybody knows, like when you and your boys that have
- 2:04:06Speaker 4: been around each other for a long time, go out
- 2:04:07Speaker 4: and everybody gets drunk. But one guy gets too drunk
- 2:04:09Speaker 4: where he starts getting like nostalgic interie eye and he
- 2:04:13Speaker 4: wants to tell you how much he loves you. And
- 2:04:15Speaker 4: it's like, bro, come on, it's not the You just
- 2:04:18Speaker 4: know you got to put this guy to bed soon.
- 2:04:21Speaker 4: What I witnessed at this wedding as the sun was
- 2:04:23Speaker 4: setting at eleven pm in Canada, all these guys were
- 2:04:27Speaker 4: equally that drunk, just loving each other. No one was
- 2:04:31Speaker 4: the hey man, we don't got to do this right now.
- 2:04:33Speaker 4: It was around a bonfire, and these boys sat there
- 2:04:36Speaker 4: and told each other how much they loved each other.
- 2:04:38Speaker 4: There were songs playing, They're singing as loud as they can.
- 2:04:40Speaker 4: They know there's fifty people sitting around, but to those
- 2:04:43Speaker 4: six seven boys, it was just them. And I sat
- 2:04:46Speaker 4: back in a chair and just watched them, being like,
- 2:04:48Speaker 4: that is the pinnacle of friend groups, something that probably
- 2:04:52Speaker 4: none of us have ever experienced.
- 2:04:54Speaker 6: It was, it was.
- 2:04:54Speaker 4: It was one of the most beautiful, rare things I
- 2:04:57Speaker 4: have ever seen in my entire life. So my shot
- 2:05:00Speaker 4: goes to FB and myself I did get offered o FB.
- 2:05:06Speaker 3: It's like, hey, how do I get in I declined,
- 2:05:08Speaker 3: how do I get this tat?
- 2:05:09Speaker 4: Yeah, they had a bunch of good boys out there.
- 2:05:11Speaker 1: Man good shout out, no free shadowt yeah.
- 2:05:14Speaker 3: For this next segment that if you're watching, don't don't
- 2:05:18Speaker 3: listen to this adtery. Twisted Tea a refreshing, hard eyed

- 2:05:30Speaker 4: It's three to twelve.
- 2:05:31Speaker 3: I know, I know. Twisted tea feels fun and celebrates
- 2:05:34Speaker 3: extreme fandom on game day. Keep it twisted with the boys.
- 2:05:36Speaker 3: It is the perfect alcohol beverage for game day. Grab
- 2:05:39Speaker 3: a refreshing twisted tea today. Our twisted question comes to
- 2:05:43Speaker 3: us from Mitch. He says he has a.
- 2:05:45Speaker 4: Good one as of right now. CF twenty five has
- 2:05:47Speaker 4: been out for twelve minutes as of right now, So
- 2:05:50Speaker 4: we gotta.
- 2:05:52Speaker 1: This one.
- 2:05:52Speaker 3: This one not the rush off. It's been a great
- 2:05:54Speaker 3: You've been awesome, this has been a great.
- 2:05:56Speaker 1: Appreciate Yes, appreciate it.
- 2:05:57Speaker 5: This one comes from JP.
- 2:06:01Speaker 1: Come from JP.
- 2:06:02Speaker 3: Hovey.
- 2:06:03Speaker 5: Would you rather be an unknown superhero or a famous villain.
- 2:06:07Speaker 1: That's uh, unknown superheroknown superhero.
- 2:06:13Speaker 3: I don't know if it's easy. I think you all
- 2:06:14Speaker 3: flirt with the idea of like, yeah, you could be
- 2:06:16Speaker 3: a badass villain that's known, and you're just you're calling
- 2:06:20Speaker 3: your own shots.
- 2:06:21Speaker 1: It's like the Joker. I'm pretty low key though. I'd
- 2:06:23Speaker 1: rather just I don't need to be famous.
- 2:06:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just thinking of my brain. Like when you
- 2:06:27Speaker 3: get those RPG games and you get to either go
- 2:06:29Speaker 3: villain or good guy. You start off thinking about the
- 2:06:32Speaker 3: idea of being a villain, and it's a video game,
- 2:06:34Speaker 3: so nobody's gonna know, right, but you ultimately end up
- 2:06:36Speaker 3: making the good decisions just to get back in good
- 2:06:38Speaker 3: favor with the crowd and the town and everything else.
- 2:06:40Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go with unknown hero.
- 2:06:42Speaker 3: That's a good one.
- 2:06:42Speaker 4: I'm gonna go villain, just being like the first person
- 2:06:47Speaker 4: that always comes to mind is the Joker from Dark Knight,
- 2:06:52Speaker 4: and that is all time, just calling your shots.
- 2:06:55Speaker 3: Doing what you want. Everyone knows. You don't know what
- 2:06:58Speaker 3: his moves are because you don't know.
- 2:07:00Speaker 4: If you're a super famous villain, you know you're known
- 2:07:03Speaker 4: for being just multiple steps ahead of the government, and
- 2:07:08Speaker 4: that's mad and that's bad ass.
- 2:07:10Speaker 3: I'll take that. I'll take the villain. Good question.
- 2:07:13Speaker 1: That a great question, good question. What do you go
- 2:07:15Speaker 1: with you? I would go unknown hero for sure. Yeah,
- 2:07:19Speaker 1: I mean be on, be on a bunch of land,
- 2:07:23Speaker 1: just be able to break and do whatever you want.
- 2:07:26Speaker 3: Be Clark Kent.
