SPEAKER_01: I used to have a pool too.
• 0:12
  SPEAKER_01: That's the one thing I miss.
• 0:13
  SPEAKER_01: I'm like, oh man.
• 0:14
  SPEAKER_01: Who's got a pool?
• 0:15
SPEAKER_02: You can hit the DG and get yourself one of those ones that you can just, you know, plant your button in your feet.
• 0:20
SPEAKER_01: Remember they were doing those things on TikTok?
• 0:22
  SPEAKER_01: It was B Y O P, you bring your own pool.
• 0:24
SPEAKER_01: So all your girlfriends would get together and you all had a small inflatable pool and you'd always sit and I would have one, Elena would have one.
• 0:30
  SPEAKER_01: That's great.
• 0:31
SPEAKER_01: Songa would have one, and we would all be there with our little cocktails or whatever, just sitting in our own little pool.
• 0:36
SPEAKER_02: Can you get your feet out of my pool, please?
• 0:37
  SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
• 0:39
SPEAKER_01: I don't need those talons in here.
• 0:41
SPEAKER_01: You might bot my pool.
• 0:43
  SPEAKER_02: Right?
• 0:43
SPEAKER_02: So I have to we have to go through some of these texts because there's uh some uh there's a lot.
• 0:48
  SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah.
• 0:49
SPEAKER_02: Um do you want to start with Doug or do you want to come back to 3386?
• 0:53
SPEAKER_01: Um, yeah, uh oh gosh.
• 0:57
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, go ahead.
• 0:58
SPEAKER_02: All right, so uh 3386 goes, Scott sounds like Hulk Hogan.
• 1:03
SPEAKER_02: Uh I can't wait to hear from uh from you, brother.
• 1:06
SPEAKER_02: So this stems back to you were at the gym.
• 1:09
SPEAKER_02: Well, this started out where you were saying that your father being very involved in the church addressed everyone as brother.
• 1:15
SPEAKER_01: Even when I was younger, he always called people brother, and I I I thought that was weird.
• 1:19
SPEAKER_01: When I was kidding I was I'm like, that's not your brother.
• 1:22
SPEAKER_01: And then now I call everyone brother.
• 1:24
SPEAKER_02: And then it moved to brah because you were at the gym and this guy, bruh brah bro, and how did he you did the greeting and it was just it got me.
• 1:30
SPEAKER_01: I was listening, so I he wasn't broing me or broing me.
• 1:33
SPEAKER_01: He I was listening to him, and he was like, Hey bruh, what bro, what's up?
• 1:38
SPEAKER_01: Just a lot of bros.
• 1:39
SPEAKER_01: I was like, you have talked four words to this other man and more bros than anything else.
• 1:45
SPEAKER_02: Well, and I told you I said it's like it would be like a conversation with Hulk Hogan where he's like, you know, hey brother, what's going on?
• 1:51
SPEAKER_02: Which I like how you almost squeaked into it.
• 1:54
  SPEAKER_02: Almost squeaked into it.
• 1:56
  SPEAKER_01: Hey, bruh.
• 1:57
SPEAKER_02: Well, what people may not know, and this is a story.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_02: I mean, since we're celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Scott and Alley show, us together, obviously.
• 2:05
  SPEAKER_02: Yes.
• 2:05
SPEAKER_02: I'd been doing radio much longer than just the 20 years that we've been doing this, right?
• 2:09
  SPEAKER_01: Well, you've been here for 21.
• 2:11
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 2:11
SPEAKER_02: And then But I was elsewhere before that.
• 2:13
SPEAKER_02: I mean, I started in my hometown of Buffalo and then moved around a bunch and then finally ended up landing here 21 years ago.
• 2:21
SPEAKER_02: But the funny part about it is, you know.
• 2:26
  SPEAKER_02: And but what 3386?
• 2:28
SPEAKER_02: I don't know, maybe he never heard the story or not.
• 2:30
SPEAKER_02: I actually got into radio by doing a Hulk Hogan impression.
• 2:35
SPEAKER_02: And that's how it happened.
• 2:36
  SPEAKER_02: Gotta start somewhere.
• 2:37
  SPEAKER_02: Not back in 1990.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_02: And it was a peak time.
• 2:40
SPEAKER_02: You know, you had Macho Man Hogan going after each other.
• 2:43
SPEAKER_02: And my buddy Mike, who was on the air uh for a station up there, was doing a live broadcast.
• 2:48
  SPEAKER_02: I approached him.
• 2:49
  SPEAKER_02: I'd never met him.
• 2:50
SPEAKER_02: I'd said, How how do you get into this?
• 2:52
SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, I'm nobody wants me to become a doctor.
• 2:54
SPEAKER_02: I'd kill people all the time.
• 2:56
SPEAKER_02: And uh and he said, Can you do a Hulk Hogan impression?
• 2:59
SPEAKER_02: He said, Well, do you have any talents?
• 3:00
  SPEAKER_02: And I said, Well, I I can't I might not many.
• 3:03
SPEAKER_02: Uh, but uh, you know, I said, I I do some impressions.
• 3:06
SPEAKER_02: And he goes, Well, give me a couple, and and we did.
• 3:09
SPEAKER_02: Next thing you know, uh So you're standing there in a a car parking lot, like um Well, it was a mall parking lot where all these dealerships actually aren't at mall should listen to this.
• 3:18
SPEAKER_02: It was they all these dealerships brought all their used vehicles out to said one big location.
• 3:24
SPEAKER_02: So you like five dealerships all doing a live broadcast or I mean a uh a car sale for to get rid of their used, and the radio station was there, like you're gonna be this week at holy smokes.
• 3:36
SPEAKER_02: Well, we were at the they were at the mall and and they were broadcasting live saying, Hey, come check it out.
• 3:40
SPEAKER_02: You might find a new new to you car.
• 3:43
SPEAKER_01: So here you are next to like an 87 Chevette or whatever.
• 3:46
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 3:47
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 3:48
  SPEAKER_01: Doing Hulk Hogan.
• 3:49
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 3:49
SPEAKER_02: I mean, it was a big time for it.
• 3:51
SPEAKER_01: And did you give him like a sales pitch, like a selling a car?
• 3:53
  SPEAKER_01: Like we totally.
• 3:54
SPEAKER_01: What you gonna do, brother?
• 3:55
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna sell you this 87 Chevette, and it's got all the bells and whistles and it ran right through the whole thing.
• 4:00
  SPEAKER_02: It was hilarious.
• 4:00
SPEAKER_02: I mean, he's rolling on the floor, dying because I mean, it's weird.
• 4:04
SPEAKER_02: It's a weird flex, but that's one of my better impressions.
• 4:07
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 4:08
SPEAKER_01: I mean, next to Homer Simpson.
• 4:11
SPEAKER_02: I only can get like two words out before it starts to fail with Homer.
• 4:14
SPEAKER_02: I could go on for a while with Hogan.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_02: Or a curve with the frog.
• 4:17
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's it.
• 4:18
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
• 4:19
SPEAKER_02: So that's how that all that I've been doing that a long time, uh, 3386.
• 4:23
  SPEAKER_01: Um, also, thank you.
• 4:24
  SPEAKER_01: I have a good day.
• 4:25
SPEAKER_01: This one came from Aaron.
• 4:27
SPEAKER_01: You guys oh, you guys are awesome.
• 4:28
  SPEAKER_01: Been listening since 2009.
• 4:30
SPEAKER_01: It's a core memory for me, and my dad listening in the car on the way to school.
• 4:34
  SPEAKER_02: Oh.
• 4:35
  SPEAKER_01: That is precious.
• 4:36
  SPEAKER_02: That is awesome.
• 4:37
SPEAKER_01: That also has to do with something that we're bringing back for our 20th anniversary, which is the birthday wheel.
• 4:42
  SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_01: And we're doing it only on Fridays, which means tomorrow could be your lucky day.
• 4:47
  SPEAKER_02: That's right.
• 4:47
  SPEAKER_02: Now, remember 7:30, it's back.
• 4:49
SPEAKER_02: We will spin, but there's a criteria you have to hit.
• 4:53
SPEAKER_01: You have to have the day, the month, and the year.
• 4:56
SPEAKER_01: And if you have if we spin a birthday and it's all of those for you, you call us back within 10 minutes and six seconds, and you're gonna claim not 106, 636 doll hairs.
• 5:08
SPEAKER_02: We've been piling that 106 each week on top of itself, uh, just growing the pile.
• 5:13
SPEAKER_02: Uh, because people aren't calling back in time.
• 5:15
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yes, exactly.
• 5:16
SPEAKER_01: Either they haven't called back in time or we haven't had somebody to nail that birthday exactly.
• 5:21
SPEAKER_01: So the pot has grown that big.
• 5:23
  SPEAKER_01: Make sure you're here.
• 5:24
SPEAKER_01: Set your phone to like 725 so that way you can be here when we spin the birthday wheel.
• 5:29
SPEAKER_02: Thank you to Hasselsons, by the way.
• 5:30
SPEAKER_02: Uh 7298 said uh happy Thursday, uh Happy Thursday, bra.
• 5:36
  SPEAKER_02: Love you guys.
• 5:38
  SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.
• 5:39
SPEAKER_02: Did you want to try to appease Doug here?
• 5:41
SPEAKER_01: Oh, sure, yeah, for sure.
• 5:43
SPEAKER_02: I mean, this is gonna be a struggle.
• 5:45
  SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna lie.
• 5:46
  SPEAKER_01: What is the struggle?
• 5:47
SPEAKER_02: Well, the struggle is we lost the Hulkster earlier in the year.
• 5:50
  SPEAKER_01: Yes.
• 5:50
SPEAKER_02: So this might be a long distance request.
• 5:53
  SPEAKER_01: Long distance dedication?
• 5:55
  SPEAKER_01: So from heaven.
• 5:57
SPEAKER_01: Wait, so should we go knocking on heaven's door?
• 6:00
  SPEAKER_02: I we could.
• 6:01
SPEAKER_02: I mean, this could be a long request to see if we can't get the hulkster to give a shout-out to you here.
• 6:06
  SPEAKER_01: Wait, hold on.
• 6:07
SPEAKER_01: I need to get some heavenly entrance.
• 6:09
  SPEAKER_01: It's some biblical.
• 6:11
  SPEAKER_01: Hold on.
• 6:13
  SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
• 6:13
SPEAKER_02: I mean, you know, it's rare that people come back on the show that are already uh on the other side, if you will.
• 6:19
  SPEAKER_01: Here we go.
• 6:19
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
• 6:20
  SPEAKER_01: Go ahead, Scott.
• 6:21
  SPEAKER_01: Can you Hulk?
• 6:24
  SPEAKER_01: Are you here?
• 6:30
SPEAKER_01: Are we in heaven or hell?
• 6:34
SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you now, Sesta! I've come back from heaven just to be with you, Sesta!
• 6:41
SPEAKER_01: I don't know who are you wrestling up in heaven?
• 6:44
SPEAKER_00: You got not, Joe Man! You got uh, let's see, uh, no Jimmy Hart said, Noah, no and I that's right.
• 6:51
SPEAKER_00: I said, I'm gonna break the arc on you, brother.
• 6:54
SPEAKER_00: He's gonna start to like uh He comes down the road like Rick Flare, but doesn't go woo! He goes to A-man, brother! Let me tell you, it's amazing up here to the ten and just hold all the time.
• 7:07
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I imagine, especially since you're up so high.
• 7:09
SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's right close to the sun.
• 7:11
  SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
• 7:12
SPEAKER_00: I walk outside with the pythons, which are no longer wrinkly, and they come right out and they go one, two, three, twenty-six inches around.
• 7:22
SPEAKER_01: Do you ever ask the Lord if he could just bless your muscles?
• 7:25
SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, it used to be part of my thing on the uh old planet Earth.
• 7:29
SPEAKER_00: You gotta do the training, you gotta say the prayers, and you gotta take the vitamins.
• 7:34
SPEAKER_00: So what you gotta do when the hawkster comes from heaven for you.
• 7:39
SPEAKER_01: I just imagine like all of the angels around the ring cheering you on as well.
• 7:44
SPEAKER_01: Like, you have Steven Not Stone Cold Steven.
• 7:49
  SPEAKER_01: Stone Cold Steven!
• 7:50
  SPEAKER_00: He's still alive.
• 7:51
SPEAKER_01: That's true, but then you have stone cold Steven up in heaven.
• 7:54
SPEAKER_00: Roddy Roddy Piper and I are hanging out today for lunch.
• 7:56
  SPEAKER_00: Perfect.
• 7:57
SPEAKER_01: I don't know who that is, but okay.
• 7:58
  SPEAKER_00: I gotta go.
• 7:59
  SPEAKER_01: Okay, bye.
• 8:00
  SPEAKER_00: Back to heaven.
• 8:01
SPEAKER_00: The air's too thick down here.
• 8:03
SPEAKER_00: I'm not used to it anymore.
• 8:04
SPEAKER_00: It's like Denver up there.
• 8:05
  SPEAKER_01: You sound winded.
• 8:07
SPEAKER_00: Like I said, the air's thinner up in heaven.
• 8:10
  SPEAKER_01: Alright.
• 8:10
SPEAKER_00: What you gotta do, sister?
• 8:12
  SPEAKER_01: Close the gate.
• 8:13
  SPEAKER_01: Goodbye.
