Joe Thornton’s legacy just got another golden stamp — he’s being honored with a San Jose Sports Hall of Fame plaque this November, joining Leslie Osborne, Brenda Villa, and Mike Montgomery in the 2026 class. It’s his second straight year of recognition, following his Hockey Hall of Fame induction last November. Thornton’s arrival in 2005 transformed the Sharks into contenders, earning him MVP honors, over 1,500 career points, and an Olympic gold.
