Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to tea time with Amy and bab
- 0:05Speaker 1: Good day Sis.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Good days.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Everything going bab bab yes, bab ah interesting. Yeah, it's
- 0:25Speaker 1: been interesting.
- 0:27Speaker 2: I would probably have to agree with you on all that.
- 0:30Speaker 2: There's been a lot.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Of things that I've recognized too as well going on lately.
- 0:36Speaker 3: First of all, no one's job to make each person happy.
- 0:40Speaker 3: It's our job to allow ourselves to be happy. That's
- 0:44Speaker 3: been one of the things that have been coming forward,
- 0:47Speaker 3: and like the practice has been since I've been doing
- 0:51Speaker 3: this practice is just being an awareness of what my
- 0:54Speaker 3: thoughts are and noticing that and not allowing it, not
- 0:59Speaker 3: I shouldn't say not allowing it, but being such and
- 1:01Speaker 3: such an awareness of it that it's not running rampant
- 1:05Speaker 3: like it used to.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Not saying that it.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Can't because there's been a few moments here and there.
- 1:10Speaker 3: You know, if we don't stay on our game, stuff
- 1:14Speaker 3: kind of comes up and and triggers you or sets
- 1:17Speaker 3: you off. But it's again to remember those triggers are
- 1:20Speaker 3: not anything to do with a person play through a thing.
- 1:22Speaker 3: It's just a it's just an opportunity to sit for me,
- 1:28Speaker 3: it's to sit and feel where am I feeling that
- 1:30Speaker 3: in my body. When something triggers me, I immediately go
- 1:34Speaker 3: to the trigger. I don't even associate it anymore with
- 1:37Speaker 3: the situation, whatever that might be in my mind, and
- 1:42Speaker 3: I just set with it until it kind of dissipates
- 1:44Speaker 3: it just when you feel those emotions, because it's scary.
- 1:49Speaker 3: It's a scary thing to sit and feel that because
- 1:51Speaker 3: you think it's never going to end. But when the
- 1:52Speaker 3: more that you sit and feel it, the more ease
- 1:55Speaker 3: and grace comes over you. The more you get to
- 1:57Speaker 3: feel like things just kind of fall off of you.
- 2:00Speaker 3: It doesn't have the same control over you anymore, and
- 2:03Speaker 3: it makes your life a little bit easy. Not saying
- 2:06Speaker 3: when that stuff happens, because it's like I feel like
- 2:08Speaker 3: I'm being bombarded. I should watch my language, my spelling,
- 2:12Speaker 3: but saying that the more that I've been doing this,
- 2:15Speaker 3: more stuff has been like really right in my face.
- 2:19Speaker 3: And so it's just each time it comes up to
- 2:21Speaker 3: sit and breathe, and sometimes it might take me a
- 2:25Speaker 3: full day before I have made my way through some
- 2:29Speaker 3: stuff completely. And then last night or this morning, while sleeping,
- 2:33Speaker 3: I had like a very vivid dream of a situation
- 2:36Speaker 3: and it kind of in the space of the dream.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I was very neutral about it. It was not a
- 2:41Speaker 3: big deal. And then when I came out of it,
- 2:43Speaker 3: the vine Art grabbed a hold of it and started
- 2:46Speaker 3: kind of like playing with it. And when I say
- 2:48Speaker 3: playing with it, it's not fun. It's not always fun
- 2:51Speaker 3: in that space. So it's just to sit again. It's like, okay,
- 2:55Speaker 3: wait a minute, not getting.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Caught up in the story.
- 2:58Speaker 3: It's slowing down and taking a couple of breasts and
- 3:00Speaker 3: just feeling, word, do I feel it that? Oh, it's
- 3:02Speaker 3: in my solar plexus that makes my stomach sot uncomfortable,
- 3:05Speaker 3: And sitting with that for a few minutes and then
- 3:07Speaker 3: just breathing through it and then it's gone.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So it's constant.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Yeah, we're not used to sitting with it. We're not
- 3:18Speaker 1: used to feeling it.
- 3:20Speaker 4: We're used to.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Overlooking it and stuffing it and moving on, and we
- 3:28Speaker 1: don't give ourselves that space or grace or time to
- 3:35Speaker 1: recognize what is it I'm actually feeling because a lot
- 3:40Speaker 1: of times it's not what's happening right now, it's it's
- 3:46Speaker 1: and I've said this many times in our in our recordings,
- 3:49Speaker 1: is that it's it's not what is currently happening that
- 3:57Speaker 1: is creating the discomfort of emotion. What's currently happening is
- 4:04Speaker 1: triggering something within your being that you've been hanging onto
- 4:08Speaker 1: for many, many, many years. And when I say that,
- 4:12Speaker 1: it's it's a to me and from the things that
- 4:16Speaker 1: I've read and studied it, it's the stem of our childhood.
- 4:21Speaker 1: It's the pieces that we've stored within our our wor
- 4:27Speaker 1: system for our survival mechanisms. And then something happens later
- 4:34Speaker 1: in life and we think it's that person or that
- 4:38Speaker 1: situation that's creating this discomfort in our feelings or in
- 4:43Speaker 1: our emotions or in our reaction reactivating mode, that that's not.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Really what it is.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Because I will tell you there are things that happen
- 4:55Speaker 1: now that in recent years past that it would have
- 5:04Speaker 1: threw me for a loop. It would have thrown me
- 5:06Speaker 1: in a spin and spiraled down into depression, questioning my worth,
- 5:12Speaker 1: my value, my good am, I'm not good enough, you know,
- 5:18Speaker 1: just all the things. But that was because I was
- 5:21Speaker 1: hanging on to those stories from my childhood that I
- 5:24Speaker 1: hadn't processed or healed or released. And now things happen,
- 5:33Speaker 1: similar situations, different names, different faces, and it's a a
- 5:39Speaker 1: lot of times it doesn't even affect me. I just
- 5:42Speaker 1: look at it and go out, well, that was interesting,
- 5:45Speaker 1: Or I have a whole different perspective about the situation.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I can see it from different angles, I can process
- 5:51Speaker 1: it differently, but it doesn't get me all balled up
- 5:53Speaker 1: and send me into a spin like it used to.
- 5:56Speaker 1: And then that that progression of being able to do
- 6:01Speaker 1: that allows me to recover quickly, or if it's if
- 6:07Speaker 1: it's not even phasing me, then it helps me maintain
- 6:10Speaker 1: my level of happiness or joy of wherever I'm at,
- 6:14Speaker 1: because it wasn't about me. It was about me in
- 6:18Speaker 1: a sense of I'm witnessing it for a reason. Maybe
- 6:21Speaker 1: it's just a gauge for me to see how well
- 6:23Speaker 1: I'm doing within myself. Maybe it's me to be there
- 6:27Speaker 1: for that other person to give them a different perspective.
- 6:32Speaker 1: There's a variety of reasons why I would be witnessing
- 6:36Speaker 1: or engaged in the experience, and then ultimately it's up
- 6:41Speaker 1: to me as to what emotional state do I want
- 6:45Speaker 1: to be in so I can shake it off like
- 6:51Speaker 1: an animal do a deer who has been just been
- 6:54Speaker 1: chased by a lion and just shake it off and
- 6:57Speaker 1: go back to grazing and enjoying my day, or I
- 7:00Speaker 1: can hang on to it. We have all these options.
- 7:04Speaker 1: So practicing a level of happiness or joy more often, ah,
- 7:11Speaker 1: it definitely helps.
- 7:15Speaker 4: It definitely feels better.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And at the same time to reach the level of
- 7:21Speaker 1: happiness and joy that you want. There there's some work involved.
- 7:28Speaker 2: It is.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I most people, which I was one of them, and
- 7:35Speaker 1: I know Bev was one of them too, was well,
- 7:38Speaker 1: I'll just I'm not even gonna.
- 7:39Speaker 4: I'm not even gonna deal with that. I'm just gonna
- 7:43Speaker 4: I'm just gonna keep going with life.
- 7:45Speaker 1: But the thing is is that whatever that is, that situation,
- 7:49Speaker 1: that person, that discomfort is still there. It's still in
- 7:54Speaker 1: your system and when you it doesn't matter if you
- 7:59Speaker 1: try to ignore it. It's still there. And at some
- 8:02Speaker 1: point along your journey that is going to get triggered
- 8:07Speaker 1: and send you in a spin, and then you're gonna
- 8:10Speaker 1: wonder what not is what's wrong with me?
- 8:13Speaker 4: It's gonna be why did they do that to me? Right?
- 8:16Speaker 4: It's that blame.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It's the outside pointing the finger at something or somebody else.
- 8:21Speaker 4: So there is work involved. There is a lot of
- 8:23Speaker 4: work involved. There's there.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It's work to look at yourself. It's work to take
- 8:28Speaker 1: responsibility for yourself. It's work to look in the mirror
- 8:32Speaker 1: and actually see yourself. And it's painful. I'm not gonna
- 8:38Speaker 1: deny that it is painful.
- 8:39Speaker 4: It is.
- 8:40Speaker 1: It's very, very, very uncomfortable, and so worth it. To
- 8:47Speaker 1: be on the other side of that is so freaking
- 8:51Speaker 1: worth it. I cannot tell you I did not like
- 8:54Speaker 1: the process. I did it for years, still doing it
- 8:58Speaker 1: to this day. Only it's a little easy because I've
- 9:01Speaker 1: been doing it for so long. And self reflection to
- 9:04Speaker 1: me is key to my joy, my happiness, and the
- 9:09Speaker 1: lighter I get within myself, the more joy and happiness
- 9:13Speaker 1: I experience for longer periods of time. But to get
- 9:18Speaker 1: to that spot, it wasn't like I woke up one
- 9:21Speaker 1: day and I was like, Okay, I'm going to be
- 9:22Speaker 1: happy and joyful. No, there was There was a process.
- 9:26Speaker 1: There was lots and lots and lots of reflection, lots
- 9:30Speaker 1: of lots of lots of being curious about myself and
- 9:34Speaker 1: how I'm operating, and and man, it's just such compared
- 9:42Speaker 1: to where I was years ago and to where I am,
- 9:46Speaker 1: it was so worth it.
- 9:49Speaker 3: It is because otherwise we're just operating off the old programs.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Like you said, you brought up to kids were like
- 9:55Speaker 3: these sponges from zero to seven.
- 9:56Speaker 2: We just absorb everything.
- 9:58Speaker 3: We're learning how to be in this experience, and we're
- 10:00Speaker 3: learning from people that have traumas and wounds and experiences
- 10:04Speaker 3: that they don't they've been distracting themselves with by keeping
- 10:08Speaker 3: themselves busy not looking at that stuff, and so we
- 10:11Speaker 3: learned how to deal with that. That's just this was
- 10:13Speaker 3: like our normal process. It's not a good or a
- 10:15Speaker 3: bad process. It just doesn't work out for us anymore.
- 10:18Speaker 3: We have an opportunity to look at that with awareness
- 10:21Speaker 3: and know that, hey, I want something better. How many
- 10:24Speaker 3: times we go through even this morning, I noticed myself,
- 10:27Speaker 3: how many.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Times we go through and.
- 10:30Speaker 3: We feel heavy, we feel like all these emotions, but
- 10:34Speaker 3: without awareness, you're not paying attention to it. You let's
- 10:37Speaker 3: kind of stay in it that throughout the day. And
- 10:39Speaker 3: if you've got anybody else in the home now and
- 10:42Speaker 3: you're they're aligning with your energy, now, you guys are
- 10:45Speaker 3: kind of both at the same space the whole day
- 10:47Speaker 3: and you don't even realize it without awareness, and then
- 10:49Speaker 3: you realize why am I feeling like this?
- 10:51Speaker 2: Like?
- 10:52Speaker 3: Why am I choosing to feel like this? Because it's
- 10:54Speaker 3: a familiar place, right, it's familiar. It's not familiar, at
- 10:58Speaker 3: least not in my experience to be in this happy,
- 11:00Speaker 3: joyful place all the time.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I can remember my.
- 11:03Speaker 3: Mom dancing around and being happy on occasion, but there
- 11:06Speaker 3: was always an underlying thing because there was things that
- 11:09Speaker 3: she had that she could have dealt with at that time,
- 11:12Speaker 3: but she didn't know how. She didn't have the tools
- 11:14Speaker 3: for it. We didn't even have half the knowledge of
- 11:16Speaker 3: information that we have now for all of us that's
- 11:20Speaker 3: at our fingertips.
- 11:21Speaker 2: We didn't have that as younger, and you just had whatever.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Experiences, people tools around you that that's what you learned from.
- 11:30Speaker 3: That was how you navigated this experience for survival. So
- 11:34Speaker 3: it's like we made it this far, but it's like,
- 11:36Speaker 3: I want to be happy for the rest of this journey.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I don't care how long I live.
- 11:39Speaker 3: I joke around about living till I don't know, three
- 11:42Speaker 3: or four, five thousand years whatever.
- 11:45Speaker 2: I mean.
- 11:45Speaker 3: We never die anyways, But to be able to be
- 11:47Speaker 3: in the experience, learn it as much as you possibly can,
- 11:50Speaker 3: to experience all the people around you, but I joke
- 11:53Speaker 3: around about that. But I want to be happy however
- 11:57Speaker 3: long I choose to stay here or whatever the plan is,
- 12:00Speaker 3: I want to be happy in that. And it's like
- 12:03Speaker 3: I said, I recognize it even this morning. I recognize
- 12:06Speaker 3: this heaviness and it's like why, And I even wrote
- 12:09Speaker 3: it down like why, because it's familiar. It's something that
- 12:12Speaker 3: we know that some people that are were around us,
- 12:15Speaker 3: that raised us when we were Ziero of the Seven
- 12:17Speaker 3: operated from that space. We just didn't learn how to
- 12:20Speaker 3: be happy unless some of us can choose to, Hey,
- 12:26Speaker 3: I'm gonna I'm gonna go do I'm gonna go be
- 12:28Speaker 3: happy because I saw the way my mom was or
- 12:30Speaker 3: I saw the way my sister was. But we don't
- 12:32Speaker 3: always do that because we don't always know what's possible.
- 12:35Speaker 3: And now we have all these people, we have podcasts,
- 12:38Speaker 3: we can watch people, we can feel their energy, we
- 12:41Speaker 3: can have the full experience and know that, hey, I
- 12:44Speaker 3: want something more, I want something different. And that's why
- 12:47Speaker 3: it's so important for us each to show up in
- 12:50Speaker 3: our energy. Watching the words that you're using and saying,
- 12:54Speaker 3: watching your thoughts, and I say watching it, but with
- 12:57Speaker 3: awareness because you're creating from that space the whole time.
- 13:00Speaker 3: And if you're repairing, paying attention to your thoughts, you're
- 13:02Speaker 3: going to recognize some of these things you're not wanting
- 13:05Speaker 3: to create, You're not wanting to bring that into your experience.
- 13:08Speaker 3: And so it's just being aware of all that and
- 13:10Speaker 3: choosing something that feels better for you for each person
- 13:14Speaker 3: so important. It's so valuable for us, and it's so
- 13:19Speaker 3: valuable for everybody that's around us.
- 13:24Speaker 1: As you were talking, what was coming to me was
- 13:28Speaker 1: we talk about spirit spirits natural state is love, but
- 13:33Speaker 1: also which is equivalent is joy. Our natural state of
- 13:37Speaker 1: being is joy and love, love being in the highest
- 13:41Speaker 1: vibrational frequency, and we have these human experiences that create
- 13:47Speaker 1: shame and guilt. What if, and it's just a question
- 13:53Speaker 1: that was coming to me while while you were talking,
- 13:56Speaker 1: is if our natural state is.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Joy and love.
- 14:02Speaker 1: That when we have a human experience that diminishes that
- 14:08Speaker 1: frequency of joy and love, we have human experiences that
- 14:13Speaker 1: create shame and guilt. The what if our shame and
- 14:17Speaker 1: guilt is being amplified because we're dissconnecting from the love
- 14:20Speaker 1: and joy that is our natural state.
- 14:25Speaker 3: That's really all that it is, even without doing all
- 14:28Speaker 3: the work that you're talking about, Like we've talked about
- 14:30Speaker 3: doing all this work because I've been doing the work too.
- 14:33Speaker 3: The more that we can just be in alignment it
- 14:35Speaker 3: we feel it, it feels good. We can be in
- 14:37Speaker 3: that space of joy all the time. All it is,
- 14:39Speaker 3: like you said, is it's just a gauge letting you
- 14:41Speaker 3: know that you're no longer in that same stream. You've
- 14:44Speaker 3: kind of stepped over to a side and you're only
- 14:45Speaker 3: getting all trickle of it right now, and you can
- 14:47Speaker 3: go right back into that center.
- 14:48Speaker 2: But that's where an awareness comes into place.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I like that visual. It's like a waterfall. Are you
- 14:57Speaker 1: fully under the waterfall of disks comfort? Or are you
- 15:02Speaker 1: in Have you done enough work on yourself that now
- 15:06Speaker 1: you're just like in the mist of it, like you're
- 15:09Speaker 1: still getting the mist and you recognize, Oh, that doesn't
- 15:13Speaker 1: feel good. What is it about that that doesn't feel good?
- 15:17Speaker 1: How is it I'm reacting to this? How what feelings
- 15:21Speaker 1: or memories are coming up? Like it's a whole But
- 15:24Speaker 1: you're not so under the huge amount of water that
- 15:30Speaker 1: is falling on you. And you think about that huge
- 15:33Speaker 1: amount of heavy emotion that's coming down on you shame, guilt, fear, criticism, judgments,
- 15:39Speaker 1: and uh, now you've you've done enough, not enough, because
- 15:45Speaker 1: we're at work in progress, but you've done a lot
- 15:49Speaker 1: of work on yourself. So now it's a you can
- 15:52Speaker 1: kind of step back and look at it and say, Okay,
- 15:56Speaker 1: what's happening in me right now that my level of
- 15:59Speaker 1: joy or happiness has has dipped, and then how can
- 16:03Speaker 1: I bring that back up?
- 16:05Speaker 4: But yeah, I just I.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Like receiving that information that the compound of our human
- 16:15Speaker 1: experiences is creating that space between spirit which is love
- 16:21Speaker 1: and joy and human experience, and so the level of
- 16:27Speaker 1: sadness and depression that sets in because I think that
- 16:30Speaker 1: we are on a spiritual level feeling that discord on
- 16:34Speaker 1: a different frequency, not just from the human experience, but
- 16:37Speaker 1: from the spiritual experience, and it's it feels heavier than
- 16:44Speaker 1: it actually is.
- 16:46Speaker 4: That makes sense, it does.
- 16:49Speaker 3: And I'm also, as you were talking, I would say,
- 16:52Speaker 3: I'm curious doing the process because I've been doing this
- 16:55Speaker 3: process now for the last couple of weeks, where I
- 16:58Speaker 3: go in and I start feeling all of it, when
- 17:01Speaker 3: really is that my mind's thinking that the process could
- 17:04Speaker 3: possibly be more of a distraction or keeping me in
- 17:07Speaker 3: that same space. Because now I'm evaluating it, I'm not
- 17:10Speaker 3: allowing myself. I'm not just looking at it like it
- 17:13Speaker 3: just basic like a gauge. If it was just a
- 17:15Speaker 3: gauge instead, my oils higher or my oils low. If
- 17:18Speaker 3: I just looked at it, it probably would say my loyal,
- 17:21Speaker 3: my oils, my loyal, My.
- 17:23Speaker 4: It is low.
- 17:24Speaker 2: If I'm focused on trying to fix it.
- 17:26Speaker 3: But if I just recognize another good analogy the new
- 17:31Speaker 3: vehicles that are out and then have been out for
- 17:33Speaker 3: a while, when you cross over a line or anything
- 17:35Speaker 3: like that, you'll fill the seat vibrate. Not everybody's had
- 17:37Speaker 3: this experience. I've had this experience. And to me, what
- 17:41Speaker 3: if when we come out of alignment, just a little
- 17:44Speaker 3: bit or a lot of it, we just feel like
- 17:46Speaker 3: that vibration in our seat right, it's nothing more. We don't, Oh,
- 17:50Speaker 3: got my attention. I need to get back into alignment.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I need to get back into the lane. That's what
- 17:56Speaker 3: if it's just that simple? What if it isn't because
- 17:59Speaker 3: I'm I've been going through this process and I've been
- 18:02Speaker 3: looking at it, but because maybe it's part of the
- 18:05Speaker 3: process to get to where I'm talking at talking at,
- 18:07Speaker 3: talking about right now, because the more that we work
- 18:10Speaker 3: through this, then it's easier to be able to say, oh, yeah,
- 18:15Speaker 3: it's nothing. I don't have to pay any attention to that.
- 18:18Speaker 3: It's just letting me know alert I'm out of I'm
- 18:21Speaker 3: not in a lane anymore. I've kind of drifted off
- 18:23Speaker 3: to the media and off to the side or whatever,
- 18:26Speaker 3: and you just need to get back into my lane.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Because as soon as we do that, and if we're
- 18:30Speaker 3: really paying very close attention with awareness, we'll know as
- 18:36Speaker 3: soon as we start to slip off, that slip out
- 18:38Speaker 3: of that lane just a little bit, you'll automatically correct
- 18:41Speaker 3: it without having me have the seat vibrate. So at
- 18:43Speaker 3: this point I have my training will done. I have
- 18:45Speaker 3: to have the seed vibrate to bring me back in
- 18:47Speaker 3: the center. But what if that's all that it is.
- 18:49Speaker 3: It's not for me to have to go do more things,
- 18:52Speaker 3: because I can get sometimes lost in the repairing of things,
- 18:56Speaker 3: you know, looking at it like, oh, what words.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Is coming from? It just depends to process.
- 19:01Speaker 3: But now I'm starting to think if I can just
- 19:04Speaker 3: notice as soon as it starts to feel uncomfortable, as
- 19:08Speaker 3: if I wake up and I notice that I feel
- 19:10Speaker 3: a little bit heavy, whether it's the energies that around me,
- 19:12Speaker 3: it's just immediately paying attention and filling myself up with
- 19:17Speaker 3: the joy or not filling myself up, just being in
- 19:19Speaker 3: alignment with the joy and allowing it to flow to me,
- 19:23Speaker 3: and just taking the time to take the breasts right
- 19:25Speaker 3: just to be aware and step right back into that
- 19:27Speaker 3: path again instead of trying, you know, going down other
- 19:32Speaker 3: paths that maybe we don't want to go in. I'm
- 19:34Speaker 3: just kind of putting it out there, just like thinking,
- 19:35Speaker 3: because for me, it's it's resonating. But I also know
- 19:39Speaker 3: that the stuff that I've been doing has been very
- 19:42Speaker 3: helpful for me to get to where I'm at right now.
- 19:47Speaker 1: What are some of those things that you do so
- 19:49Speaker 1: the audience would know some.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Of the things that I do right now When as
- 19:54Speaker 3: soon as I start feeling off, I'll go sits, I'll
- 19:56Speaker 3: take my remove myself from wherever I'm at, and I'll
- 20:00Speaker 3: take some deep breaths. I try to do like three
- 20:02Speaker 3: deep breaths. I could do own sounds I could do,
- 20:06Speaker 3: you know, just taking a deep breath in and then
- 20:08Speaker 3: even being met like just breathing that through you to
- 20:12Speaker 3: kind of shift because now your your awareness is not
- 20:15Speaker 3: now on you, it's now on shifting this energy. It's
- 20:19Speaker 3: not on whatever the situation was that got you or
- 20:22Speaker 3: made you feel like that's where it took you, you know,
- 20:25Speaker 3: So you're not going into the blame and all that stuff.
- 20:28Speaker 3: So I'll breathe sometimes I'll if I'm not getting past that,
- 20:31Speaker 3: I might write, I'll talk to my universal team about
- 20:36Speaker 3: how to get through this. I've asked yesha Wa to
- 20:39Speaker 3: come in and wash my energy with his energy or
- 20:43Speaker 3: Baba Gee or you know, archangel Michael whatever to help,
- 20:47Speaker 3: because it whether it's for real or not, I do
- 20:51Speaker 3: notice the difference I can fill a shift, and it's
- 20:54Speaker 3: like when you ask for that help, it almost feels
- 20:56Speaker 3: like you're receiving help for it. And it's it's just
- 21:00Speaker 3: the process, and each time it's not always the same results.
- 21:03Speaker 3: It's not always working, and sometimes it's just We've talked
- 21:07Speaker 3: about walking out in nature. That's super important. I might
- 21:10Speaker 3: find myself going out because for me, a meditative space
- 21:14Speaker 3: that I like to do is working out in the yard.
- 21:16Speaker 3: So I might go into that space and then that
- 21:18Speaker 3: allows for shifting to happen, because now I'm kind of
- 21:22Speaker 3: doing something which can be distracting, but it's not always
- 21:27Speaker 3: because I can feel when I'm doing it. I feel lighter,
- 21:31Speaker 3: I feel more fulfilled, I start feeling more connected, probably
- 21:35Speaker 3: because I'm outside in the earth. I'll walk around outside
- 21:38Speaker 3: barefoot for a while. This is just a lot of
- 21:41Speaker 3: listen to music's humming. There's just a lot of different
- 21:44Speaker 3: stuff that I'll do and then, but the biggest one
- 21:47Speaker 3: for me is just sitting quietly and just breathing, Just
- 21:49Speaker 3: sitting as soon as something triggers me. It's taking the
- 21:52Speaker 3: few deep breaths, really just sitting with it in my body.
- 21:56Speaker 3: And maybe that's just me quieting down, noticing it and
- 22:00Speaker 3: it just goes away. So you know, I feel like
- 22:02Speaker 3: I've emptied the vessel a little bit of cleared space
- 22:05Speaker 3: to allow for more joy to come in.
- 22:07Speaker 2: I guess.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Sometimes people don't know what exactly it is they're feeling.
- 22:12Speaker 1: So like Bev said, is just take take a moment
- 22:16Speaker 1: to separate yourself. Maybe you just go sit on the toilet.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I don't care that you just separate yourself from whatever's happening,
- 22:23Speaker 1: and you can put your hand on your heart and
- 22:26Speaker 1: ask what is it. I'm feeling right now and tune
- 22:28Speaker 1: into that and just maybe start That's where the curiosity
- 22:36Speaker 1: comes into play when you're when you're tuning into yourself
- 22:39Speaker 1: as Okay, I'm feeling angry. Why do I feel angry?
- 22:45Speaker 1: Well so and so said blah blah blah, and it
- 22:49Speaker 1: made me mad. Okay, has that happened before? And you
- 22:56Speaker 1: just keep asking the questions, well, yeah, it happened this
- 23:00Speaker 1: other time five years ago with so and so. Okay,
- 23:04Speaker 1: has it happened before that? And just keep going and
- 23:06Speaker 1: keep going.
- 23:08Speaker 4: And this is of.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Course, if you know, if you have a moment to
- 23:13Speaker 1: and maybe a better way to process this, get a
- 23:16Speaker 1: pen and paper and write that down. But in any rate,
- 23:23Speaker 1: is just in the moment at least figure out what
- 23:27Speaker 1: it is you're feeling, because a lot of times we
- 23:28Speaker 1: don't even know that we just reacted to something, and
- 23:36Speaker 1: again we just at some point brush it off and
- 23:39Speaker 1: keep moving. But your system, your body, your mind is
- 23:43Speaker 1: still holding on to that because we haven't really processed it.
- 23:49Speaker 1: It's just another layer of stuff that we're just pushing
- 23:51Speaker 1: down and not taking the time.
- 23:54Speaker 4: To look at.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Because again, you keep pushing it down, they are going
- 23:59Speaker 1: to be keeping situations and people that are going to
- 24:03Speaker 1: bring it back up in different ways in different circumstances,
- 24:07Speaker 1: and it's just going to keep being that big red button,
- 24:10Speaker 1: like a Staples button on you. Instead of Staples button
- 24:13Speaker 1: saying that was easy, you're going to be like, what.
- 24:16Speaker 4: The fuck was that right? And that's your button.
- 24:19Speaker 1: And it just keeps getting pushed and because you've just
- 24:23Speaker 1: keep storing things in there to be pushed. So the
- 24:27Speaker 1: opportunities that you have to sit with yourself. And then
- 24:33Speaker 1: of course, if this is something that seems too difficult
- 24:36Speaker 1: for you to process on your own, then go to
- 24:39Speaker 1: counseling therapy, get a coach. Both Bev and I are coaches.
- 24:44Speaker 1: We can you know, we cand of help you processings,
- 24:46Speaker 1: but do something where you feel supported, but also take
- 24:51Speaker 1: the time to start releasing some of these things that
- 24:53Speaker 1: you've been storing for a very long time.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 25:01Speaker 1: And Robert, doctor Robert Holden uh has a book forget
- 25:09Speaker 1: the name of it, but he did a He's from
- 25:11Speaker 1: England and if anybody knows anything about the English, Uh,
- 25:18Speaker 1: they're very.
- 25:21Speaker 4: Hmm, non reactive.
- 25:23Speaker 1: I would say they they don't express levels of joy
- 25:29Speaker 1: like we do, or like other cultures do.
- 25:33Speaker 4: And so his.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Mission was to study happiness and one of that's one
- 25:40Speaker 1: of his processes that I like so much. As you
- 25:43Speaker 1: go on a scale he uses from ten to one
- 25:46Speaker 1: hundred or zero to one hundred, you can use a
- 25:49Speaker 1: scale zero to ten, and you level your state of happiness.
- 25:55Speaker 1: So let's just say you're at a two. A lot
- 25:59Speaker 1: of times people who art this process are at a
- 26:01Speaker 1: very low level. So this is not a judgment by
- 26:04Speaker 1: no means. I know I was probably at a one
- 26:06Speaker 1: or two when I started this, and then he would ask, okay,
- 26:10Speaker 1: well what would have to happen for you to get
- 26:14Speaker 1: to a three? And you keep doing that process till
- 26:18Speaker 1: you get to a ten or one hundred, whichever system
- 26:22Speaker 1: you want to use. And typically, so this is a
- 26:28Speaker 1: side note for you to recognize as you do this,
- 26:31Speaker 1: is that typically we say so and so needs to change,
- 26:36Speaker 1: or so and so needs to do something, or we
- 26:42Speaker 1: need a different president. Like everything that you start pointing
- 26:45Speaker 1: out is external.
- 26:48Speaker 4: Wow, when you're.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Doing inner work, it means look at yourself inwardly, So
- 26:56Speaker 1: it's not what needs to change in your environment or
- 26:59Speaker 1: the peace around you, what needs to change within me. Again,
- 27:05Speaker 1: going to self reflection, what do I need to do
- 27:09Speaker 1: for me to go from a level two of happiness
- 27:12Speaker 1: to a level three? And one of those things for
- 27:16Speaker 1: me was be better with my finances. When I'm better
- 27:23Speaker 1: with my finances, then I feel more secure because I'm
- 27:26Speaker 1: going to have more money in the bank and i
- 27:28Speaker 1: won't be as stressed about the next bill that rolls in.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Am I going to be able to pay it or not?
- 27:33Speaker 1: So I needed to be better at handling or finances.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I'm working on that. I've been working on that, and
- 27:40Speaker 1: I'm doing amazing job and I'm very relaxed when it
- 27:44Speaker 1: comes to looking sitting down to pay my bills every
- 27:48Speaker 1: two weeks. I'm okay with it.
- 27:51Speaker 4: Now.
- 27:52Speaker 1: There's not as much money in the bank that I want,
- 27:54Speaker 1: but I also know that I'm working toward getting things
- 27:57Speaker 1: paid off and I'm on this regular path of getting
- 28:02Speaker 1: those things taken care of, and I'm okay with it,
- 28:06Speaker 1: and the money in the bank is starting to build up.
- 28:08Speaker 1: I had to change my money mindset. I had to
- 28:12Speaker 1: work on that within myself. I had to find the
- 28:15Speaker 1: tools to help me. So maybe it's a I like
- 28:21Speaker 1: to take baths, so if I take a bath, I'm
- 28:23Speaker 1: only getting one once a month, I will take a
- 28:26Speaker 1: bath once a week. That gets you to your next
- 28:30Speaker 1: level of happiness. So each each number and I'll tell
- 28:35Speaker 1: you if you're at a level two. Sometimes it may
- 28:38Speaker 1: be difficult to get to a level ten to figure
- 28:40Speaker 1: out what needs to be happened to get to a
- 28:43Speaker 1: level ten. So when you sit down and do that,
- 28:46Speaker 1: at least that's kind of giving you a game plan
- 28:48Speaker 1: of your pathway to feeling happier. Maybe you only figure
- 28:56Speaker 1: out how to get to level five. It's okay, it's
- 28:59Speaker 1: a start. But I will also say that if you
- 29:02Speaker 1: sat down and did this six months to a year later,
- 29:06Speaker 1: things are going to change because you've changed, because you've
- 29:10Speaker 1: been working on these different levels to help you get
- 29:14Speaker 1: closer to the level of happiness that you desire, and
- 29:20Speaker 1: those things that you would like for to shift change
- 29:28Speaker 1: evolve within yourself are going to change over time because
- 29:35Speaker 1: you ultimately have changed. So for prime example, just so
- 29:41Speaker 1: I can show this real quick is to get to
- 29:44Speaker 1: the next level, I needed to do work on my
- 29:47Speaker 1: money mindset. Now I've been doing that for some time.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Now that I know I'm on this path of getting
- 29:56Speaker 1: things paid off and money is building up in my
- 29:58Speaker 1: accounts that. Okay, what is when I look at my finances?
- 30:05Speaker 1: What is my next goal? Well, my next goal maybe
- 30:09Speaker 1: to bring in ten thousand dollars a month. Do you
- 30:13Speaker 1: know that's another money mindset shift? Did you know I
- 30:18Speaker 1: have more work to do to get to that level?
- 30:20Speaker 4: Do you know?
- 30:21Speaker 1: I need to learn how to go from what I
- 30:24Speaker 1: have to that goal? So there's still work to be done. However,
- 30:31Speaker 1: because I've cleared some of my and shifted some of
- 30:35Speaker 1: my money mindset processes and belief systems, it will be
- 30:40Speaker 1: easier for me to transition into the next So what
- 30:46Speaker 1: I needed to do for myself five years ago has
- 30:49Speaker 1: now shifted. Now I have to do the work into
- 30:54Speaker 1: in order to work towards the goals I want now. Right, So,
- 31:01Speaker 1: just so you know, things will shift and change for you.
- 31:03Speaker 1: It's not always going to be the same, but at
- 31:05Speaker 1: least get started.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Get started because all that stuff that you learn from
- 31:12Speaker 3: zero to seven you absorb from those people around you,
- 31:15Speaker 3: and then we operate from that space until we choose
- 31:18Speaker 3: not to.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't have to be fifty.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Years old or fifty five years It could be a
- 31:25Speaker 3: lot sooner than that. It's just really a it's really
- 31:28Speaker 3: a choice to.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Make your to choose yourself, right, and that's huge, Right,
- 31:37Speaker 1: is learning to choose yourself when you've not been in
- 31:40Speaker 1: that space.
- 31:40Speaker 4: And that's a whole other conversation.
- 31:42Speaker 1: But choosing yourself may feel difficult if you're a people pleaser, fixer, caretaker,
- 31:52Speaker 1: all the things. But a lot, especially women, have struggle
- 31:57Speaker 1: with that. So I would say at this point with
- 32:02Speaker 1: our conversation in this video is to or this recording,
- 32:06Speaker 1: is to decide what what does a level of happiness
- 32:12Speaker 1: look like for you? Because it's gonna be different for everybody.
- 32:16Speaker 1: My level of happiness is different than Bev's and vice versa.
- 32:20Speaker 1: My level happiness is different than my spouse, My level
- 32:24Speaker 1: happiness different than my son, my level of happiness different
- 32:28Speaker 1: than my coworkers. So you have to decide what it
- 32:32Speaker 1: is for you and then start maybe sit with that
- 32:35Speaker 1: scale of you know, zero to ten and ask what
- 32:38Speaker 1: is it that I need to do within myself or
- 32:41Speaker 1: for me to get to that next level and plan
- 32:44Speaker 1: out as far as you can in a sitting and
- 32:48Speaker 1: then maybe just put it aside for three, four, five,
- 32:52Speaker 1: six months and then come back to it.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Agreed.
- 33:00Speaker 4: So we have work to do. It's time to get
- 33:04Speaker 4: to the work.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Do the work and notice the difference as you're moving
- 33:08Speaker 1: through it, and know that you are supported, whether it's
- 33:13Speaker 1: by people around you, or by listening to videos that
- 33:16Speaker 1: BEV and I do, or leaning into your spirit team.
- 33:21Speaker 4: And when we say spirit team, we mean.
- 33:23Speaker 1: God, Jesus' mother, Mary, Angels, guides, deceased loved ones, those
- 33:29Speaker 1: types of beings. Because it's still all energy and it's
- 33:33Speaker 1: still all around us, and we can call upon it
- 33:35Speaker 1: to help us, guide us and support us. I do
- 33:40Speaker 1: it on a regular basis. So lean into a support system.
- 33:46Speaker 1: I have a support system, and I've never met the people.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I listen to podcasts on a regular that is my
- 33:52Speaker 1: support system. They teach me business aspects, they teach me money, mindset,
- 33:57Speaker 1: they teach me and it's free.
- 33:59Speaker 4: I just want to put that out there. It's free.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Utilize the tools.
- 34:04Speaker 1: If you are low odd money, then utilize the tools
- 34:07Speaker 1: that are available to you. And I tell you when
- 34:11Speaker 1: I say I get my money's worth out of YouTube,
- 34:13Speaker 1: I certainly do.
- 34:14Speaker 4: And I don't pay for the subscription. So free is free.
- 34:18Speaker 4: Utilize what is available to you.

- 35:09Speaker 4: You have to ask.
- 35:10Speaker 1: That is the biggest thing for a lot of people
- 35:13Speaker 1: is learning to ask. So put it out there and
- 35:17Speaker 1: let others be supportive.
- 35:20Speaker 4: You have any final words, I.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Would say, start today. That's the best thing I can
- 35:24Speaker 3: tell you is you start today? And how can you
- 35:27Speaker 3: start today? How are you feeling in this moment?
- 35:30Speaker 2: And then you've already gave the steps, How can you
- 35:34Speaker 2: shift to a different even if you're in a space
- 35:36Speaker 2: of joy and happiness, how could you even go higher
- 35:38Speaker 2: than that?
- 35:39Speaker 4: Right now?
- 35:40Speaker 3: Because we don't know what that looks like or how
- 35:42Speaker 3: it feels unless you ask. You've got to start today
