- 0:00Hello! Sophie and Vic here. Hi! Now we are sorry to say that we're taking a week's
- 0:07break. We've just had a very large Christmas, spent lots of money and time on things that
- 0:13we probably shouldn't have. So we're just going to have a week off before we come back
- 0:16with a new episode. Lots of eating, lots of festive activities. I mean I don't know about
- 0:21you but I've spent honestly, probably more money in the last month than I have in the entire
- 0:25year. Like it's quite terrifying. Would you say you've overextended your waistline
- 0:28and your bank balance? Yes, you say what. And I actually refuse to be here next year
- 0:33Vic. This is the year that I put myself into shape. I love it. Both my abs come back and
- 0:37my bank account looks a little bit less scary. I need some help honestly, like budgeting,
- 0:43saving, investing, you've got to help me. Do you look at your spending and see what
- 0:47you're spending and figure out how to say? No, I don't, because it freaks me out. It's
- 0:51like every Sunday when I've shouted every on shots at the bar and I'm like, oh my god,
- 0:55I'm too scared to look. Like I actually haven't logged post-trussiness. Well, hopefully for
- 1:012022, we'll get you back. Things are looking up. Things are being financially fit.
- 1:04Take me to Pilates. So we're coming back on the fifth of January,
- 1:09for episode five. And we're going to be talking about Buy Now Pay Later, which is very appropriate
- 1:16this time of year and I'm sure many people are very guilty of using it. It would suck if you've
- 1:20bought all your Christmas presents on Buy Now Pay Later and then you get slapped with your
- 1:25bill in January, wouldn't it? Oh, totally. And you can constantly paying for it in weeks to come,
- 1:29which I think we're all guilty because what you do is you buy thinking, well, I get to pay
- 1:34this over X amount of time so it doesn't feel like you're spending as much, but you end up spending
- 1:38more. Yeah, totally. That's the whole idea of it is that you can spend more now and pay for it
- 1:43later. Totally caught in the trap. What are we learning about though? Is it going to be from a
- 1:47customer or an investing standpoint? From both and why and the pros and cons of both of being
- 1:52a customer of Buy Now Pay Later and being an investor in Buy Now Pay Later. Because it's a massive
- 1:56trend, isn't it? It's a huge trend and that's what we want to look for when we're investing is
- 2:00is those those trends. So it's how to not spend money and also how to earn money. How to make
- 2:06money? Exactly. Woo. Okay, so we'll be back on the fifth of Jan and we hope you have a great new
- 2:11year. Thanks everyone. Bye. Bye.
