- 0:01Speaker 1: The Blaze in Confused. Podcast is rated M for marijuana
- 0:04Speaker 1: no miners, but your audience is only.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Since the last episode that was only seven days ago.
- 0:11Speaker 2: I have some major life developments. Oh yeah, wow, major
- 0:14Speaker 2: life developments. There's a few things that I didn't used
- 0:17Speaker 2: to like, but now I like them.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Okay, what scarves? Okay, what happened? Used to not like them?
- 0:23Speaker 1: Now I'm like, mmm, okay.
- 0:25Speaker 3: It's below zero.
- 0:27Speaker 1: They're kind of good. I tell you so.
- 0:28Speaker 2: A year ago, I was in New York visiting friends.
- 0:31Speaker 2: A few of my friends said, dude, you hate coats.
- 0:34Speaker 2: You need to make sure that you have like a
- 0:35Speaker 2: coat and like, you know, a hat glove brings to me.
- 0:38Speaker 2: So I be outside for an extended exact time. Yeah, yeah,
- 0:41Speaker 2: and especially in New York. I mean, everybody's walking around.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Everybody's bundle up in New York. And I do notoriously
- 0:46Speaker 2: hate coats. And I never am prepared for a New
- 0:48Speaker 2: York trip in the winter. I'm just not so. I
- 0:50Speaker 2: did have a scarf a year ago, and I wore
- 0:53Speaker 2: a year ago and thought this is all right. But
- 0:55Speaker 2: then after this lovely shit snowstorm, I could not find
- 1:00Speaker 2: a scarf for the life of me. So I ordered
- 1:02Speaker 2: a new one, and I really like the new one.
- 1:04Speaker 2: What's so special about it?
- 1:06Speaker 1: I don't know. It's just a scarf. I like it.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I dig it. I just I don't know. In the
- 1:09Speaker 2: past week, I'm like, I used to not like this,
- 1:11Speaker 2: but now I like it. Got a warm neck? Now
- 1:13Speaker 2: got a warm neck?
- 1:14Speaker 3: Are you going to get an ascot next?
- 1:15Speaker 1: What's that?
- 1:16Speaker 4: That's like a fancy man scarf? And then you wear
- 1:18Speaker 4: your smoking jacket and you have your little ask golf.
- 1:21Speaker 1: It just sticks out the top. Yeah.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Now, I kind of like the big ones, like the
- 1:25Speaker 2: long ones that you wrap around your neck a few
- 1:27Speaker 2: times like a noose, you know, because then if anything, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:34Speaker 2: good job, I'm pausing. I thank you very much. I'm
- 1:36Speaker 2: practicing my self control. It's working out great, all right.
- 1:39Speaker 2: So I like scarves. And here's the other thing that
- 1:42Speaker 2: I like. And I've liked this for a long time,
- 1:44Speaker 2: but I just remembered how much I love it. Hear
- 1:46Speaker 2: me out, Lemon in your coke, not in your diet coke,
- 1:51Speaker 2: in your regular coke.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Okay, lemon in the coke, cut the sugar.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I don't care about that, But I just think that
- 1:57Speaker 2: the lemon, like the nice acidity in there.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Yeah, because it cuts the sugar. It does, that's why.
- 2:03Speaker 2: You like that.
- 2:03Speaker 4: I mean it cuts the sweetness. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 4: I just like sour. Right, so it cuts the sugar.
- 2:09Speaker 4: That's why you like it.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Oh, so maybe it's a good thing that I'm doing this.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Yes, I'm explaining you to you.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Okay, all right, So you're saying I should continue doing
- 2:17Speaker 2: this then, right? Yes, okay, Yeah, I feel like less
- 2:20Speaker 2: sugar would be good for me. I'm not a lemon
- 2:23Speaker 2: in my drinks kind of guy ever, especially water. Oh really,
- 2:26Speaker 2: I don't want that in my water.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Why.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I don't know, don't I don't like it. Lemon make water,
- 2:30Speaker 2: Lemon makes everything better. Yeah, you're saying this now as
- 2:34Speaker 2: of recent you know what I mean. No, I've always
- 2:36Speaker 2: liked lemons. Okay, I've always I had a lemon tree
- 2:38Speaker 2: at one point in my apartment.
- 2:40Speaker 1: It died. How long did you have this lemon tree?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Like a year? Did you actually grow lemons and use them?
- 2:48Speaker 1: I didn't grow lemons.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I grew a little green balls okay, and then it died.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Okay. I don't think this justifies anything.
- 2:57Speaker 2: It stayed alive just for me to be a little
- 3:01Speaker 2: bit excited and then it died. Okay, yeah, cool story man.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Yeah thanks well. Scarves and lemon, good for you, scarves
- 3:08Speaker 2: and lemon. I like scarves too, but they itch my
- 3:11Speaker 2: neck too much. Yeah, I get a little What about
- 3:13Speaker 2: ear muffs, No, no, I'm not gonna do that.
- 3:16Speaker 1: No, what about uli ear ear muffs?
- 3:19Speaker 4: Not the kind of wrap behind your head because they
- 3:21Speaker 4: fall off their annoying yees.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Wrap around the back of your head. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Don't like this.
- 3:26Speaker 4: And then the ones that go on top of your head,
- 3:28Speaker 4: kind of like these headphones. Headphones, thank you, they'll mess
- 3:32Speaker 4: up my hair?
- 3:33Speaker 1: What about you?
- 3:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like any of it. I don't like
- 3:36Speaker 2: any of it. Again, the scarves is a new phone,
- 3:39Speaker 2: is a new phoune thing that I enjoy. I'm very
- 3:41Speaker 2: happy for you. Otherwise, I really don't enjoy coats. I'm
- 3:44Speaker 2: not a coat guy. I don't like big bulky jackets.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I feel the same way. I don't like driving with
- 3:48Speaker 2: them on eat. I feel the same way. I usually
- 3:50Speaker 2: if I'm gonna wear I'll wear a hoodie and then
- 3:52Speaker 2: I'll put my jacket on. And if I have to
- 3:53Speaker 2: get out of the car or whatever. Absolutely small periods
- 3:56Speaker 2: of time agree. But yeah, I don't like big jackets
- 3:59Speaker 2: like that. Then I will say, though, it's a bad
- 4:01Speaker 2: time to not like big jackets. M hmm, it is
- 4:04Speaker 2: a bad time to not like the big jackets. I'm
- 4:06Speaker 2: still healing, so I'm not doing much anyway, kind of
- 4:09Speaker 2: taking this winter off from while you're taking this winter off.

- 4:18Speaker 3: I'm going to give you reiki, are you?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah? Takey? So speed up this healing process because I
- 4:23Speaker 1: got shit to do.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Man, he's got to come to my gym that too.
- 4:28Speaker 2: I haven't gone to my free sessions yet, neither have you. Yeah,

- 5:28Speaker 1: Light up some knowledge.
- 5:30Speaker 5: They'll Blazed and Confused Podcasts with Becker and Joel starts now.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Now.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I am worried from my ears in the future because
- 5:39Speaker 2: I noticed as time goes on, nothing's ever loud enough,
- 5:42Speaker 2: Like I need it louder.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Everything needs to be loud.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Plus you barely listen anyway, what exactly when people are
- 5:49Speaker 2: talking to you, it's kind of going right out the
- 5:50Speaker 2: other side.
- 5:51Speaker 1: So huh, I wouldn't worry about your ears. What was that? No? Really,
- 5:56Speaker 1: do you you have a You don't wear an Apple watch?
- 5:58Speaker 1: Do you know.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Okay, so on the Apple Watch there's this feature where
- 6:01Speaker 2: you have an Apple Watch too. Okay, does your sound
- 6:05Speaker 2: audio exposure? Does that go off a lot or No?
- 6:09Speaker 4: It's not going off right now. And that's amazing because
- 6:13Speaker 4: that was wow.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well you have headphones on, so it's not picking
- 6:16Speaker 1: it up.
- 6:16Speaker 4: Oh that's true, frying your ears. Yeah, it does go
- 6:19Speaker 4: off at the gym quite often.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I would say mine goes off on average about ten
- 6:24Speaker 2: to fifteen times a day or so. And you can
- 6:28Speaker 2: go on your phone and look at a graph of
- 6:30Speaker 2: like how much your ears have been exposed to loud
- 6:33Speaker 2: audio and mine it's if it's a line right at
- 6:36Speaker 2: the top, straight across the screen, like right at the top,
- 6:38Speaker 2: straight across.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I like that.
- 6:39Speaker 2: This goes off ten to fifteen times a day. And
- 6:42Speaker 2: you wonder why your neighbors are pissed off at you?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Huh huh?
- 6:45Speaker 2: What what They're pissed off because I think I'm smoking
- 6:48Speaker 2: cigarettes in my apartment?
- 6:50Speaker 1: Yeah, which I'm not. Lee.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Let me ask you, as a sober nosed person, Yes,
- 6:56Speaker 2: what does it smell like over here?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Not? Cigarettes? I can tell you that, thank you. She's
- 7:00Speaker 1: not a square, Yeah, not a square. That's right.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I'm cool.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's right.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Friendly, Because in order to be cool, you gotta smoke marijuana,
- 7:09Speaker 2: or at least what they told you in seventh grade
- 7:12Speaker 2: health class, in order to be cool, you gotta smoke
- 7:16Speaker 2: the devil's lettuce. Hey, you remember the DARE program. I
- 7:18Speaker 2: dare you to try pod. Oh you know what we
- 7:20Speaker 2: gotta do. We gotta do so back in the fifth grade,
- 7:23Speaker 2: I did, indeed do the DARE program.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Did you do the DARE program or was a Do
- 7:27Speaker 4: you remember this? I have a story about the DARE program.
- 7:30Speaker 4: If you really want to take a minute.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I have a story. We all have stories about the
- 7:34Speaker 1: DARE program.
- 7:35Speaker 2: We all got stories first, and then she could tell you,
- 7:37Speaker 2: all right, do you have a story about the DARE
- 7:38Speaker 2: program too? No other than I have never followed it.
- 7:43Speaker 2: You do it, at least we did it in the
- 7:44Speaker 2: fifth grade. And at the end of this you I
- 7:49Speaker 2: vaguely remember this, you have to write up a paper
- 7:52Speaker 2: and it's like your your promise to be drug free.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I remember that.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Then there's a at a semi at the end of
- 8:01Speaker 2: the year where in front of the whole school, they
- 8:04Speaker 2: picked one or two people to like read their essay
- 8:07Speaker 2: there I won't do drugs essay in front of the
- 8:09Speaker 2: whole school. And I remember like working really hard on
- 8:11Speaker 2: this essay, and I remember being really freaking pissed and
- 8:14Speaker 2: I didn't get picked for this essay.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Well I found the essay, did you? As of recently?
- 8:20Speaker 1: I'm like, no, wonder why togain picked. This is awful.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It's so bad.
- 8:24Speaker 2: I should try to find it, you know, I was.
- 8:26Speaker 2: I was hoping you had it ready to go.
- 8:28Speaker 1: No, I just thought of it. Should I look for it? Yes? Please?
- 8:30Speaker 3: All right, I thought you were going to say that
- 8:31Speaker 3: you were picked to read it.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Oh, I wish. All right.
- 8:34Speaker 4: So here's my DARE program story. So I am old
- 8:38Speaker 4: enough to be your guys really cool ants.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:42Speaker 4: And so they didn't have the DAAR program when I was,
- 8:44Speaker 4: you know, in fifth grade or whatever. But when I
- 8:45Speaker 4: was a teaching assistant, I went to the hundred and
- 8:50Speaker 4: County prison with the fifth graders on their DARE trip.
- 8:55Speaker 4: Did you go to a prison?
- 8:56Speaker 1: No?
- 8:56Speaker 4: Okay, Well they did prison too, uh, jail as well.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Let me tell you something that was scary because we
- 9:04Speaker 4: were in a room with a bunch of prisoners being
- 9:08Speaker 4: you know, well, back in NY it was called Scared Straight. Okay,
- 9:11Speaker 4: doing their Scared Straight thing. It was terrifying, and I
- 9:13Speaker 4: was a grown ass adult even it was terrifying.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Wow, you went to a Wow.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Yes, fifth grader's prison.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Smoke weed end up here kids. It was the message
- 9:25Speaker 2: I want to see. I'm looking for my essay. Now
- 9:27Speaker 2: I remember finding it, but now I don't remember where
- 9:29Speaker 2: I found it.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Amazing, Well, here we go, I think, here we go.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Wow, it's from what year? Was this again?
- 9:37Speaker 2: Okay? So this it was. I found it in my Gmail.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Thank you Gmail. I think Gmail's getting sued right now.
- 9:42Speaker 2: We got to do research on that. Okay, there's some
- 9:45Speaker 2: lawsuit against Gmail right now. No, this was from May
- 9:49Speaker 2: tenth of twenty ten. Oh my god, and I'll read you.
- 9:53Speaker 2: That wasn't even that long ago. All right, go ahead,
- 9:55Speaker 2: that wasn't even that long ago. Sixteen years ago. That's
- 9:58Speaker 2: pretty long ago. Anyway, I go ahead.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Okay.
- 10:02Speaker 2: This year and DARE, we learned what drugs can and
- 10:05Speaker 2: will do to your body. We learned about the harmful
- 10:08Speaker 2: effects of marijuana and alcohol. We also learned about tobacco
- 10:14Speaker 2: and peer pressure. DARE stands for drug Abuse Resistance Education
- 10:20Speaker 2: in less than one. We talked about making healthy decisions
- 10:23Speaker 2: in the DARE book. They would give you a story
- 10:26Speaker 2: with a problem and you would have to use your
- 10:29Speaker 2: DARE decision making model to solve the problem. We would
- 10:34Speaker 2: also do what do you think a fun survey activity.
- 10:39Speaker 2: One of the surveys was how many eighth graders do
- 10:41Speaker 2: you think have tried alcohol? You would write down what
- 10:44Speaker 2: you thought, then your DARE officer would tell you the
- 10:48Speaker 2: real results of this survey. Is this not like the
- 10:50Speaker 2: worst piece of writing that you've ever heard in your life.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I'm still interested here, I'm about halfway through, and I'm
- 10:56Speaker 2: even on bored right now. Even I'm like, God, Joe,
- 10:59Speaker 2: get on with it. Officer Kevin was really great. He
- 11:05Speaker 2: offered his background information and a lot of goon facts
- 11:09Speaker 2: that helped me. Not good goon, you're amazing a lot
- 11:17Speaker 2: of go Yeah boy, how relevant this would have turned
- 11:20Speaker 2: out to be all these years later. That's where can
- 11:22Speaker 2: we go with the facts about goons? Goon facts? Okay,
- 11:29Speaker 2: that's a different show. I think that it's important to
- 11:33Speaker 2: be drug free because even though someone might not want
- 11:37Speaker 2: to mess his life up with drugs, there are people
- 11:39Speaker 2: out there who don't have anything to do with drugs,
- 11:42Speaker 2: and never will that make.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Figure out why this was not chosen. Drugs.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Drugs put other people in danger and that is not right,
- 11:58Speaker 2: especially if they are drug free.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Good point oay.
- 12:03Speaker 2: I think that the DARE program is wonderful and it
- 12:06Speaker 2: should be taught to kids of all ages around the world.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I pledge to be drug free, and I will make
- 12:12Speaker 2: wise decisions for the rest of my life about alcohol,
- 12:14Speaker 2: tobacco and other drugs for as long as I live.
- 12:17Speaker 1: So when you went to Staley, so, when you went
- 12:18Speaker 1: to Staley's last name, would you end up drinking?
- 12:21Speaker 2: All?
- 12:21Speaker 1: Right?
- 12:21Speaker 2: So, I mean here's the thing, though, I mean, I
- 12:23Speaker 2: still and would you like some of this joint?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Sure?
- 12:25Speaker 2: I've kept up to my DARE promises for the most part, Like, Yeah,
- 12:31Speaker 2: I drink alcohol, which is legal. I smoke weed, which
- 12:34Speaker 2: now is mostly legal. Yeah, and I've come very clean
- 12:37Speaker 2: about I hate magic mushrooms.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Once I hated it.
- 12:39Speaker 2: It was an awful experience, and that was a good
- 12:42Speaker 2: eye opening experience for me because I know that I
- 12:46Speaker 2: can't handle anything else, so I won't and I have
- 12:48Speaker 2: an addictive personality, so I know where I know my limits.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I'm good with my limits. Yeah, that's what I should
- 12:53Speaker 1: have put in my DARE survey. I know my limits.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I'm good with my limits. Try magic mushrooms once. If
- 13:00Speaker 2: you hate it, don't do it again.
- 13:01Speaker 4: I think you need to find that officer, the goon
- 13:05Speaker 4: whoever whatever you said his name was, the officer, Yes, theoon.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Officer, and send this to him, Officer Kevin.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Yes, officer guon.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Officer Kevin with an autographed caricature of yourself.
- 13:19Speaker 1: From last week.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yes, I don't know what to do with it, so
- 13:22Speaker 2: it's just sitting over there.
- 13:23Speaker 1: You were allowed to throw it away.
- 13:26Speaker 2: That's like bad that. I don't know it's bad, Drew
- 13:29Speaker 2: ju I'm just right. I ended up doing drugs. Now,
- 13:31Speaker 2: look at me.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Stop stop it. That's the new DARE program booklet cover.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Huh right? There is that good? Though? Like this guy
- 13:44Speaker 1: made it or interpretation? Yeah?
- 13:48Speaker 2: Yeah, So we put this picture on the internet. Most
- 13:50Speaker 2: people liked it. Did you notice that?
- 13:53Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 13:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but it was funny because Joel hates it. He goes, wait,
- 13:58Speaker 2: he goes, you gotta tell me. I'm going to show
- 13:59Speaker 2: you this during the show. But let me know if
- 14:01Speaker 2: this looks like me, you handled it very well and
- 14:06Speaker 2: I actually listened to that. You handled it very well.
- 14:07Speaker 2: You're very diplomatic about its Yes, thank you. No, it
- 14:11Speaker 2: reminded me of do you know the show Fraser? Of course,
- 14:14Speaker 2: love the show Fraser. Yeah, you know, unfortunately Kelsey Grammar.
- 14:21Speaker 2: It ruins everything. I'll tell you that it shouldn't, but
- 14:24Speaker 2: it does. I love before I knew that. Yes, I
- 14:30Speaker 2: really enjoyed the show, of course. And I really enjoyed
- 14:33Speaker 2: this one episode where there's this there's this notorious restaurant
- 14:36Speaker 2: in town in Seattle where you go in and there's
- 14:38Speaker 2: there's charcteratures of all the famous people or notable people
- 14:42Speaker 2: in town and they all hang on the wall. So
- 14:44Speaker 2: it's a big deal because in this episode, Fraser is
- 14:46Speaker 2: going to get a caricature on the wall. Well, wouldn't
- 14:48Speaker 2: you know When he goes in, there's this big to do,
- 14:50Speaker 2: there's this big ceremony and they unveil it and he
- 14:53Speaker 2: hates it and it looks it's like a giant head
- 14:56Speaker 2: Fraser crane, big old crane.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Yeah, Cranium.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Cranium also discussed last week on The Blaze and Confused
- 15:04Speaker 2: Talk very educational podcast. Yes, yes, you learn a lot here,
- 15:07Speaker 2: but it reminds me of that episode when I was
- 15:09Speaker 2: given the caricature that you know, it's all right whatever,
- 15:12Speaker 2: good reference. And by the way, you've been working on
- 15:14Speaker 2: that word. I'm proud of there. You're almost getting it.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Yet it's almost like a speech impediment.
- 15:20Speaker 1: The hell's wrong.
- 15:20Speaker 4: But I think that their pictures are supposed to be
- 15:26Speaker 4: not really look like you, like a little off, yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 4: kind of like someone's reading you through their artwork.
- 15:34Speaker 1: His eyes though they're a little two in, don't you really?
- 15:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:39Speaker 3: I mean I don't think you're cross side.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Look at me. Well you are kind of right now,
- 15:46Speaker 1: probably because of this.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Yeah, really on that note, and I will say, boy,
- 15:49Speaker 2: where'd you get that thing? Because it's like extra smoky.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Extra skunky too.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Just so no wonder why, no wonder why my neighbors think, Yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 2: it's very cigarette.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Yeah, apparently marijuana, not Marlborough. I'm telling you, aramuana, not Marboro.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I'm good man. Think away from me. Cool. He knows
- 16:08Speaker 1: his limits, you know limits, Thank you.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Now. Lee is a practicing witch and she does a
- 16:13Speaker 2: lot of other things, personal training, massage, rayki, blah blah blah.
- 16:15Speaker 2: You know you you are a jack of all trades.
- 16:18Speaker 2: We just gave her the blah blah blah. I didn't
- 16:19Speaker 2: mean to do that. That's okay, respect with all respects,
- 16:23Speaker 2: but of course she does blah blah blah. We're happy
- 16:25Speaker 2: to have you back. Yeah, listen to me. We're happy
- 16:29Speaker 2: to have you back. You were on I forget. Do
- 16:32Speaker 2: you remember the episode number you were on?
- 16:34Speaker 1: Uh?
- 16:34Speaker 2: Now, so it's been a while. It was around it
- 16:37Speaker 2: was around Halloween, right, so yes. Now, since then, we've
- 16:42Speaker 2: had a couple of people on the show, one of
- 16:44Speaker 2: which was a psychic and I know that she had
- 16:45Speaker 2: said something a reference something about which is that you
- 16:47Speaker 2: did not agree with and you. Let's clear the air
- 16:50Speaker 2: in a friendly way, because we respect each other on
- 16:52Speaker 2: the show, right, And we're doing this instead of the
- 16:55Speaker 2: rapid round, We're going to clear the back to the
- 16:57Speaker 2: wrap a right, We'll do everything we do. Is confused podcast,
- 17:01Speaker 2: a very educational podcast, is also sparking drama here.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Yeah, some nice covering all the beasts. There's some beef
- 17:07Speaker 1: within the guests.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Eventually, we're going to talk about ice and snow that
- 17:10Speaker 2: we've been having issues with ice snow here and I
- 17:13Speaker 2: prefer beef and tacos.
- 17:15Speaker 1: There's no beef.
- 17:17Speaker 4: First of all, there's no drama, no drama, no, very respectful.
- 17:22Speaker 4: But I have the receipts. So I took a screenshot
- 17:26Speaker 4: of the transcript.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Right from that episode.
- 17:29Speaker 4: Okay, that episode, yes, and it says there's two things.
- 17:32Speaker 4: It says they it's that it's it's now last week,
- 17:36Speaker 4: your last episode. You hadn't a person who practices witchcraft, correct, Okay,
- 17:40Speaker 4: but she wasn't a practicing witch she didn't. Her religion
- 17:43Speaker 4: wasn't Wickan, but she Okay, So the people who are
- 17:47Speaker 4: Wickeds and druids, this is point two, are the ones
- 17:51Speaker 4: who started Halloween.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Okay. So there's two things here.
- 17:54Speaker 1: It's clear it up.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Let's clear it up.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I'm confused that what that transcript even, I know, sound
- 18:00Speaker 2: like my podcast.
- 18:01Speaker 1: It makes no sense at all.
- 18:03Speaker 4: And I read it verbatim because yeah, you know, I
- 18:06Speaker 4: don't take anything out of context.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Great job, thank you.
- 18:08Speaker 4: I appreciate that. So all right, this is a stoner podcast,
- 18:13Speaker 4: am I right?
- 18:14Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about it.
- 18:19Speaker 3: This is an educational podcast.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Stones rocks.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Yes, we don't really tell we've never talked about we've
- 18:25Speaker 2: yet to have a gl gist.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Very good, we can talk about that, okay, very thank you.
- 18:31Speaker 4: But it's this is not a witchcraft or Wiccan podcast.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:36Speaker 4: So when I was on that episode, right, I was
- 18:38Speaker 4: just bringing you because you asked me to a little
- 18:40Speaker 4: witchcraft light, a little witchcraft for the masses, right, Okay,
- 18:44Speaker 4: a little fun, nothing serious.
- 18:47Speaker 3: So here's the thing.
- 18:48Speaker 4: And I was trying to be very respectful towards all
- 18:52Speaker 4: people of all faith.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Okay.
- 18:54Speaker 4: So Wicka is not Wicka was invented between nineteen thirty
- 19:00Speaker 4: nine to nineteen fifty by Gerald Gardner in England. It's
- 19:03Speaker 4: not ancient. So to say that the Wickans and the
- 19:07Speaker 4: Druids invented Halloween is an incorrect statement. Okay, it's historically incorrect.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Also, if you want to talk about the Druids and Halloween,
- 19:19Speaker 4: it would be soln which I can't remember whether or
- 19:22Speaker 4: not the person had discussed that because I only took
- 19:24Speaker 4: those receipts. I didn't take all the receipts. So Wicka
- 19:29Speaker 4: is a completely new religion. And no, I'm not Wickan,
- 19:34Speaker 4: but you don't have to be Wickan to be a
- 19:37Speaker 4: witch because the two are completely separate things.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Okay, does that make sense? Yes?
- 19:41Speaker 4: Okay, So I just want to clear that up in
- 19:44Speaker 4: case anybody has any questions.
- 19:46Speaker 2: So basically, you're saying the psychic medium is foolish.
- 19:49Speaker 3: I did not say that.
- 19:51Speaker 4: I know, and I'm sure that as I said, you know,
- 19:57Speaker 4: de Becker, I'm sure she's a very lovely person, and
- 19:59Speaker 4: I'm sure we have quite a lot of things in
- 20:01Speaker 4: common and would get along famously.
- 20:03Speaker 3: But you know, it's just you know, oh yeah, missing for.
- 20:06Speaker 2: At least there's a mutual respect there. Oh my god,
- 20:08Speaker 2: of course it's fake news. As they say, I don't
- 20:12Speaker 2: know who says that. I don't know who says sad.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I have a lighter.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Sure, I'm gonna light a candle since Lee said it
- 20:17Speaker 2: smells like gone in.
- 20:19Speaker 1: There, I mean windows are open to it'll clear out.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I remember the first time I smelled marijuana, one of
- 20:25Speaker 2: the first times. I was like fifteen, sixteen years old,
- 20:28Speaker 2: working at a restaurant.
- 20:29Speaker 3: I thought, you had to say fifth grade?
- 20:31Speaker 1: No, are you kidding me? You just hard my fifth
- 20:33Speaker 1: grade their shirt.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I was working at a restaurant, working at a restaurant,
- 20:38Speaker 2: and I said, wow, it smells like a skunking here.
- 20:42Speaker 2: And one of the hosts said, yeah, honey, that's how
- 20:44Speaker 2: you know is good ship. That's what you get on
- 20:48Speaker 2: this podcast. By the way, good shit, good ship. Speaking
- 20:50Speaker 2: of good ship, let's do this, Lee, Let's see if
- 20:52Speaker 2: you know your ship.
- 20:54Speaker 1: The game begins into three only twenty three?
- 21:00Speaker 2: Lee, what country became the most populated?
- 21:04Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Okay, skip? What American holiday is in September?
- 21:09Speaker 3: I have no idea?
- 21:10Speaker 1: Okay skip.
- 21:11Speaker 2: The word rendezvous comes from what language?
- 21:16Speaker 1: France? Yes? Very good? What do you call the answer? French?
- 21:19Speaker 1: But yeah? Okay?
- 21:20Speaker 2: What do you call the answer to a division problem?
- 21:23Speaker 3: The answer?
- 21:25Speaker 2: I like that. That's right in my book. Who's on
- 21:30Speaker 2: the one hundred dollars bill?
- 21:31Speaker 1: Lee?
- 21:33Speaker 3: Let me check my wallet?
- 21:34Speaker 5: Oh?
- 21:34Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 21:36Speaker 2: What country? What country was Queen Cleopatra from Egypt?
- 21:40Speaker 1: Yes? What color is the circle on Japan's flag? Red? Yes?
- 21:45Speaker 2: What is the chemical added to water to protect teeth?
- 21:50Speaker 3: I have no idea?
- 21:51Speaker 1: Okay, all right?
- 21:52Speaker 2: The color cobalt is a shade of what color? Blue?
- 21:55Speaker 1: Very good?
- 21:56Speaker 2: What do you call existing matter in space stuff? I
- 22:00Speaker 2: like that answer too. That's correct in my book too.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Very all right, rapid round questions for Lee.
- 22:09Speaker 1: We're all going to learn a lot right now. We
- 22:11Speaker 1: are in twenty twenty three.
- 22:13Speaker 2: The country that became the most populated India India.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I thought it already was the most populated.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I think it was China. Yeah, that might be right, India.
- 22:22Speaker 4: I really think it's I think India was only some
- 22:24Speaker 4: most punic FULA.
- 22:25Speaker 3: All right, I don't know that seems like a trick question.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Well these probably probably came from chat VT from Becker,
- 22:30Speaker 2: which means there could be wrong. This is an iHeart
- 22:33Speaker 2: radio podcast. Guaranteed Human, Yes it is, thank you?
- 22:36Speaker 1: Yeah? Is it passive aggressive?
- 22:38Speaker 2: That that's their new slogan, And anytime anything goes wrong
- 22:40Speaker 2: via computers, I love to say, guaranteed Human.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Is that passive aggressive?
- 22:47Speaker 3: Maybe slightly?
- 22:47Speaker 2: Okay, all right, seeing that we both worked there, say
- 22:50Speaker 2: it's all good.
- 22:52Speaker 1: That's great. Guaranteed Human. Anyway. The American holiday that's in
- 22:55Speaker 1: September is Labor Day.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Labor Day, Oh, I never got that all so I
- 23:00Speaker 4: wouldn't know.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I get that one in a Memorial Day. Screwed up
- 23:03Speaker 2: me too, a more Memorial.
- 23:04Speaker 4: Day may because mm oh, I never thought of that.
- 23:10Speaker 3: I'm a thinker.
- 23:11Speaker 1: That's very good, remember, m m. Yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 2: So one of them starts the summer and the other
- 23:19Speaker 2: ends this summer. Yeah, okay, all right.
- 23:22Speaker 4: And that makes sense because labor day you go back
- 23:23Speaker 4: to school in September to do labor. See, now we're
- 23:27Speaker 4: thinking about it. Deep thoughts, connecting stuff.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, the word rondevu rendezvous, Like why do you
- 23:34Speaker 2: spell it like that?
- 23:35Speaker 1: Come on? Who decides that? Sh French? It's still that's
- 23:38Speaker 1: something americanized version.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Who chose that? That's how you spell that freaking word
- 23:43Speaker 2: the French? The hell the word rendezvous comes from what language?
- 23:48Speaker 1: French? French?
- 23:49Speaker 2: What do you call the answer to a division problem?
- 23:51Speaker 2: It's called the answer, yes, but I guess technically it's
- 23:54Speaker 2: called the quotient.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Quotient. Vaguely, I remember that, who's on one hundred dollars bill? Hmmm?
- 24:01Speaker 1: Benjamin Franklin.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Benny frank I think he's the only dude that's on
- 24:04Speaker 2: one hundred dollars bill that's not a president.
- 24:07Speaker 3: He's probably the only person on a bill bill.
- 24:10Speaker 2: He's the only person on a bill. He's the only
- 24:12Speaker 2: person on a bill that's not a president.
- 24:16Speaker 1: We fix my word.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Eventually, all the money is just get out Trump on it.
- 24:18Speaker 2: So well, I actually did read this week that what
- 24:22Speaker 2: what anniversary are we coming up of two hundred and
- 24:24Speaker 2: fiftieth that okay, So for the two hundred and fiftieth
- 24:26Speaker 2: anniversary of the country. Yeah, I'm hearing that he's going
- 24:29Speaker 2: to put his face on a dollar coin.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I heard about that too.
- 24:32Speaker 3: We did that, right, the dollar coin. Right was Sakawa?
- 24:37Speaker 1: Right? I do. That was in the nineties, wasn't it.
- 24:40Speaker 4: I think it was in the two thousands. Regardless, we've
- 24:42Speaker 4: already had that, right. Yeah, So of course he has
- 24:44Speaker 4: to take the Native American woman off.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, of course he does. Duh.
- 24:51Speaker 2: I think it's funny too that you think he was
- 24:54Speaker 2: gonna look at that and be like, we're going to
- 24:55Speaker 2: keep that.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Don't you think it's funny too.
- 24:57Speaker 2: I mean we stopped making the penny only we could
- 25:00Speaker 2: start making something with his face on it.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 25:03Speaker 2: If you're looking for a political podcast, this is not
- 25:06Speaker 2: it because you don't do that kind of We're not
- 25:07Speaker 2: talking about thoughts.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Witchcraft, and weed absolutely this particular episode, and we're talking
- 25:12Speaker 4: about coins, not politics.
- 25:13Speaker 1: We're talking about money. Yeah, that's all. Yeah. And I'm
- 25:15Speaker 1: still waiting on my two thousand dollars check though from
- 25:17Speaker 1: the tariffs. Let me know on that. Let me know
- 25:19Speaker 1: on that. Yeah.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Yeah, Cleopatra, she was from Egypt. She was the color
- 25:25Speaker 2: in the circle of Japan's flag that was red.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Ye. What is the chemical? Yeah? What is the chemical
- 25:29Speaker 1: added to water to protect teeth?
- 25:31Speaker 3: Calcium?
- 25:32Speaker 5: No florid?
- 25:33Speaker 1: Yeah, of course.
- 25:35Speaker 5: Do I know.
- 25:35Speaker 4: In my stupid brain, I was thinking Dantine, I'm like, no,
- 25:38Speaker 4: that's a gum.
- 25:39Speaker 2: I believe Florid was another thing that RFK said was
- 25:41Speaker 2: causing cancer. So we're trying to get rid of that. Yeah,
- 25:44Speaker 2: eventually we'll have nothing. Eventually we'll have nothing. Yeah, us,
- 25:51Speaker 2: I hope none of you took Thailand all recently.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I hear it's causing problems.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Just a reminder, though this is not a political We
- 25:58Speaker 2: don't talk about that kind of thing here. The color
- 26:00Speaker 2: of cobalt is a shade of blue.
- 26:02Speaker 1: You got that?
- 26:03Speaker 2: What do you call all existing matter and space the universe?
- 26:06Speaker 2: The universe?
- 26:07Speaker 1: That's a trick question. That's another come oustion. Those were
- 26:11Speaker 1: fun though. We all learned some stuff there. We go
- 26:13Speaker 1: learn it a lot today.
- 26:14Speaker 2: All right, Now we're going to do random thoughts and really,
- 26:17Speaker 2: other than the trivia on this podcast, the whole thing
- 26:19Speaker 2: is a bunch of random thoughts. But Now we're going
- 26:22Speaker 2: to pruss a button that says random thoughts.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Have you noticed this podcast has grown? We have more features? Now, yeah,
- 26:29Speaker 2: I did notice that. But I also noticed the apartment
- 26:32Speaker 2: was a lot cleaner. But I know you cleaned recently. Yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 2: it's cleaner now, it is than the last time.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean I was here like three months ago.
- 26:41Speaker 1: It looks nice in here. Yeah.
- 26:44Speaker 3: No, no, no, okay, let me restate that before you get
- 26:47Speaker 3: your little feelings hurt.
- 26:48Speaker 1: No, no, they don't get hurt.
- 26:52Speaker 3: No, it's more straightened up.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Should I tell her the story about my toilet or no?
- 26:56Speaker 3: Please?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Please?
- 26:58Speaker 2: Yes?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Or please no? I want to hear I want to
- 27:01Speaker 1: know about it. Gross?
- 27:02Speaker 2: Okay, all right, I mean I I can that can be.
- 27:05Speaker 2: That can be my first random thought if you want
- 27:07Speaker 2: go ahead? Oh god, all right, well here, well let
- 27:10Speaker 2: me I mean.
- 27:10Speaker 1: He blazed and confused random thoughts. I don't condone this,
- 27:17Speaker 1: all right.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll give the disclaver that it's gross. But Lee
- 27:20Speaker 2: says you want to hear it, Well you asked her
- 27:22Speaker 2: for it.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Okay, all right.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Hey, isn't there a kid's book called Everybody Poops? Yes,
- 27:29Speaker 2: and indeed everybody poops, But sometimes there's an issue that arises.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Goes with the poop, comes an issue. Poop.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Don't give you a perfect example. I had a very
- 27:40Speaker 2: very busy day on Friday. I worked all day long.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I came home. I had a DJ Friday night, so
- 27:45Speaker 2: I only had a few hours at home to get
- 27:47Speaker 2: my shaitaki together, you know, to get.
- 27:49Speaker 1: My music rates all together.
- 27:50Speaker 2: And when I came home, it just so happened that,
- 27:52Speaker 2: as they say, I had to drop the kids off
- 27:55Speaker 2: at the pool. Okay, right, So as I'm dropping the
- 27:59Speaker 2: kids off the pool, and as the kids start swimming
- 28:02Speaker 2: at the pool, wouldn't you know, my phone rings, a
- 28:05Speaker 2: rather important phone call. And so here I am sitting
- 28:10Speaker 2: on the toilet on the phone, which you know, it's
- 28:12Speaker 2: all good, no wronglem does you don't know that I'm
- 28:15Speaker 2: dropping the kids off at the pool as we speak?
- 28:18Speaker 2: But I got up. Kids are still swimming in the pool. Sure,
- 28:22Speaker 2: still on the phone. But you don't want to like
- 28:24Speaker 2: flush the kids in the pool while you're on the phone.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Right, It's a dead giveaway.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't want him to hear the kids swimming
- 28:31Speaker 2: around on the phone as he's seeing it.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Right, So I'm with you.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I closed the toilet, I closed the door and went
- 28:39Speaker 2: on about my day. That's Friday, Well, today's Sunday. I
- 28:42Speaker 2: had a lazy day yesterday. Didn't so happen to use
- 28:45Speaker 2: that bathroom?
- 28:46Speaker 3: Think I know where this is going.
- 28:47Speaker 2: And uh, well, I wanted to clean up a little
- 28:49Speaker 2: bit before he came over today. And I went in
- 28:51Speaker 2: that bathroom and opened it up, and thank god he did.
- 28:54Speaker 2: It's amazing what happens when certain things fester.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Shall we say?
- 28:59Speaker 3: That's science, isn't it?
- 29:02Speaker 1: Isn't this how they make alcohol?
- 29:04Speaker 2: They like put some liquid in a jar and just
- 29:06Speaker 2: let it sit there for a certain period of time,
- 29:08Speaker 2: and then it like ferments.
- 29:09Speaker 3: And maybe you made penicillin in your toilet.
- 29:11Speaker 4: Oh you could sell that to RFK.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Probably could all natural, all natural? All right, anyway, more
- 29:25Speaker 2: random thoughts?
- 29:26Speaker 1: Good you read them?
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yeah, why is this random thoughts? And I read your
- 29:31Speaker 2: random thoughts? I need to sit back for a second here. Okay,
- 29:33Speaker 2: so this is Becker's random thoughts. I noticed the other
- 29:37Speaker 2: night that I line my groceries up from healthiest to
- 29:41Speaker 2: unhealthiest when I'm at checkout. The other night, they started
- 29:45Speaker 2: with shrimp and salad ingredients and ended with chocolate covered doughnuts.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Do you arrange your groceries in a certain way? This
- 29:53Speaker 2: may not apply to Joel because he can't be bothered
- 29:55Speaker 2: to do his own grocery shopping. Guilty is charged. I
- 29:59Speaker 2: hate the grocery I hate the grocery store. But I
- 30:01Speaker 2: line them up in such a way that I look
- 30:04Speaker 2: like worse of a person as they go on, you
- 30:06Speaker 2: know what I mean, Like, Oh, he's starting off strong,
- 30:08Speaker 2: he's got shrimp, that's protein, he's always got salad ingredients.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Who gives a fuck? I don't know. Nobody cares, Judge,
- 30:13Speaker 1: nobody cares.
- 30:14Speaker 4: I'll tell you though, I do line up my groceries
- 30:16Speaker 4: in a certain way on the belt, but temperature kind
- 30:18Speaker 4: of So. My very first real job, like after babysitting,
- 30:22Speaker 4: was being a grocery store bagger. And you don't want
- 30:25Speaker 4: to put certain things together. So I still line mine
- 30:28Speaker 4: up depending on how I want them.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Oh for sure.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Yeah, but now we bag our own groceries anyways.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yeah, really is bagging? Is that still a thing? They
- 30:34Speaker 2: still have baggers at Wegmans?
- 30:35Speaker 1: They do? Yeah? Do that? Yeah.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I went through their checkout and the woman did it.
- 30:39Speaker 2: That's got to be the worst grocery store ever. I
- 30:42Speaker 2: really don't like grocery stores, but I really don't like Wegmans.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Why tell us your beef, you have the receipts, get
- 30:47Speaker 1: them out? No, no, no, no. The problem with Wegmans too
- 30:50Speaker 1: many people all the time.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Like the reason why I don't like grocery stores is
- 30:53Speaker 2: because there's I don't like too many people all at once. Well, well, gee,
- 30:56Speaker 2: if you don't like too many people all at once,
- 30:58Speaker 2: you shouldn't go to Wegmans.
- 31:00Speaker 1: What is Wegmans? Too many people all at once?
- 31:02Speaker 3: That's true.
- 31:03Speaker 2: And furthermore, don't you think that the way Wegman's just
- 31:07Speaker 2: laid out it's dumb?
- 31:09Speaker 1: The way like where you find little strange. I'll agree
- 31:11Speaker 1: with you.
- 31:11Speaker 2: There compared to other grocery stores, I feel like it
- 31:14Speaker 2: just doesn't make sense. But I disagree. It is usually packed,
- 31:16Speaker 2: but I think it's pretty spacious in there. I don't
- 31:18Speaker 2: usually have a problem. I like my experiences there, especially
- 31:22Speaker 2: the other day she I had like, I don't know,
- 31:24Speaker 2: fifteen items right, And at the end, she's like, did
- 31:27Speaker 2: you need a bag? And I said, of course, you
- 31:30Speaker 2: mentioned me carrying these fifteen individual items? What a balancing well?
- 31:36Speaker 2: There's a bunch of grocery stores now, like Aldi I
- 31:38Speaker 2: think is one of them that you have to bring.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Your own bags. They don't have bags for you.
- 31:43Speaker 4: They've always been that way. I have that New Jersey
- 31:45Speaker 4: like I live in New Jersey. We have to bring
- 31:47Speaker 4: our own bags. Yeah, you live in Phillipsburg though, right
- 31:50Speaker 4: low pack kong, thank you very much.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Still that's like on the border right well mean yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 2: so that's like basically Pennsylvania.
- 31:57Speaker 1: I love it. People are like, I'm from Jersey.
- 31:58Speaker 4: No, I'm not, like, hey, wait, whoa, whoa? You want
- 32:01Speaker 4: to have beef? What I am not from New Jersey?
- 32:05Speaker 4: Get it straight. I'm from western Pennsylvania.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Okay, let me ask you. Okay, let me ask you
- 32:12Speaker 2: somebody that lives in New Jersey.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Let me ask you.
- 32:15Speaker 2: This the age old debate of what state has the
- 32:19Speaker 2: worst driver, Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
- 32:23Speaker 1: New York.
- 32:24Speaker 2: See, everybody says that, but that's not that's not one
- 32:27Speaker 2: of the choices.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Yes, no, it doesn't matter. New York is worse regardless.
- 32:32Speaker 4: Okay, But but if you have to rank them, okay, okay,
- 32:36Speaker 4: all right, if it was Pennsylvania versus Jersey, what depends
- 32:40Speaker 4: if we're talking about driving in the snow.
- 32:42Speaker 3: New Jersey's worse because they don't know how to drive
- 32:44Speaker 3: in the snow.
- 32:45Speaker 1: But they're right there. What's so fucking different? You know
- 32:47Speaker 1: that's the first time because wow, how far in the Wow?
- 32:55Speaker 1: Thirty ish minutes? Pretty good?
- 32:56Speaker 3: Wow, that is really good.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 32:58Speaker 4: No Jersey people don't know how to drive snow because
- 33:00Speaker 4: New Jersey takes care of the roads better than Pennsylvania.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Okay, but if you're talking like speed.
- 33:07Speaker 4: Oh my god, when I get behind Pennsylvania drivers like
- 33:09Speaker 4: hurry up?
- 33:10Speaker 1: Yeah? What else? Random thoughts? Here?
- 33:13Speaker 2: Snowy weather people are putting their chairs, their cones, their
- 33:16Speaker 2: garbage cans out in parking spots that they shoveled out.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Do you think that's cool or not?
- 33:19Speaker 3: I think that's a total Pennsylvania thing.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Yeah, really yeah, but what you're down from. You're from
- 33:25Speaker 2: pennsyl You're from western Pennsylvania, and I'm.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Here to tell you that's a total Pennsylvania. So you're
- 33:30Speaker 1: saying people don't do that in Jersey. They do probably
- 33:32Speaker 1: in Phillipsburg.
- 33:34Speaker 2: But how do you feel about it? I lived downtown
- 33:36Speaker 2: for a while, and you know you'd shovel out your spot,
- 33:38Speaker 2: and I lived next to it. I lived above a pizzeria,
- 33:41Speaker 2: so there were people in and out of that place
- 33:42Speaker 2: all the time.
- 33:43Speaker 1: So often when I would leave, my spot would be taken,
- 33:45Speaker 1: you know.
- 33:45Speaker 3: But and how'd you feel about that?
- 33:46Speaker 1: Oh?
- 33:46Speaker 2: I would be like, damn it, that sucks. And but
- 33:49Speaker 2: I wouldn't be that but hurt about it. I never
- 33:51Speaker 2: put a cone or anything in a street before. No,
- 33:54Speaker 2: I've not done that any The mayor of Allentown posted
- 33:57Speaker 2: a video about this on his Facebook page. How do
- 33:59Speaker 2: you feel about it? Well, he said that it's illegal
- 34:01Speaker 2: in the city of Valentown. You legally can't do that.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Not that that's going to stop anybody.
- 34:06Speaker 1: It's like debris, it's like garbage tech.
- 34:08Speaker 3: But I think it's also a tradition.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Yeah, bigger fish to fry. I don't know.
- 34:12Speaker 2: I feel like I can't have an opinion on this
- 34:14Speaker 2: because it's never happened to me. But once it does,
- 34:16Speaker 2: I'm sure that I will. I've seen a bunch of
- 34:19Speaker 2: videos online of people retaliate, you know, like somebody steals
- 34:24Speaker 2: your your parking spot when you're snowed in, and somebody
- 34:27Speaker 2: will retaliate and they'll go out with cold water and
- 34:30Speaker 2: dump cold water all over the car so that it
- 34:32Speaker 2: freezes over and then you can't get out.
- 34:35Speaker 1: That's kind of extreme, isn't it. Yeah? Yeah, yeah, don't
- 34:39Speaker 1: be that person.
- 34:41Speaker 5: When you're about to learn absolutely nothing.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Go Blazed and Confused podcast.
- 34:47Speaker 2: I don't do this often, but I'm going to give
- 34:49Speaker 2: you categories you could choose from. Right, Oh, like I
- 34:51Speaker 2: do for you every week.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Yep.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Great anatomy time, people and acronyms.
- 34:59Speaker 1: I guess question number one?
- 35:02Speaker 2: What is the least populated state in the United States?
- 35:09Speaker 1: M least populated state?
- 35:13Speaker 2: All right, so like Rhode Island comes to mind, Delaware
- 35:16Speaker 2: comes to mind.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Least populated.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Wait, but is it by size or by people?
- 35:24Speaker 1: People? Populated people? Yeah? I assume that what is.
- 35:28Speaker 2: The least populated state in the US. Does Rhode Island
- 35:31Speaker 2: have like a city in it? I feel like it doesn't.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Right.
- 35:33Speaker 2: You have a couple of cities in towns there, right,
- 35:35Speaker 2: don't they? Of course they too? No, you know what
- 35:39Speaker 2: I mean, like a big city like Providence. Oh, but
- 35:45Speaker 2: isn't Rhode Island so small that it's like barely on
- 35:48Speaker 2: a map and there's an arrow that points to it,
- 35:50Speaker 2: and it's this little spec like, that's what I right,
- 35:53Speaker 2: So that's got to be the least populated.
- 35:55Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna say Rhode Island. Final answer? Sorry,
- 36:00Speaker 1: is it Delaware? No, it's not.
- 36:02Speaker 3: I think it's something in the Midwest.
- 36:04Speaker 1: What would be your guest? I don't know, but as
- 36:06Speaker 1: you are right.
- 36:06Speaker 3: As Yeah, I don't know, So I don't know what's
- 36:09Speaker 3: in the Midwest.
- 36:11Speaker 1: It's Wyoming. They have just over a half million people.
- 36:16Speaker 4: That's why I said just a little bit over it
- 36:18Speaker 4: by size, because there are more cows and bison than humans.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Nice, crazy, So Rhode Island might be the smallest state
- 36:27Speaker 2: by size, but in terms of how many people are
- 36:30Speaker 2: in the states, and Wyoming has at least amount of people. Yep,
- 36:33Speaker 2: this is why, like the Electoral College exists. Right, not
- 36:35Speaker 2: to get all political, but.
- 36:37Speaker 3: This is not a political podcast.
- 36:39Speaker 1: They don't do that here. No, no, no, no.
- 36:41Speaker 2: It's random thoughts. It is and Stone, Yes, exactly. Yes,
- 36:45Speaker 2: but again, the reason why Lee wasn't here last week
- 36:47Speaker 2: is because we got a ice problem.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Issues, snow problem. But it's very icy outside. Question too
- 36:56Speaker 1: despicable ice?
- 36:57Speaker 2: You know you hate when you slip on the ice.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Do you have five for this thing? Right here by
- 37:01Speaker 2: for what? Oh the stick of fun?
- 37:02Speaker 1: Yeah that sounded bad.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Don't burn that, like I'm of fun? Okay, all right, buddy,
- 37:10Speaker 2: what do you want? Anatomy time or acronyms time?
- 37:14Speaker 1: Like? What?
- 37:15Speaker 5: Uh?
- 37:16Speaker 1: What does that mean? Actual time? Sure? Give me that one,
- 37:19Speaker 1: all right? How many seconds are in an hour? Fuck?
- 37:22Speaker 1: Who knows that? Now?
- 37:25Speaker 3: Calculator?
- 37:25Speaker 1: No calculator, because that's easy. Man. Oh you know what.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I let you use a calculator all the time. One
- 37:31Speaker 2: time you did, but it had nothing to do. Last
- 37:33Speaker 2: time we had a problem. He had to divide some
- 37:37Speaker 2: numbers and he was like, let me get my phone out.
- 37:39Speaker 2: I'm like, that's so easy. You got to write it out.
- 37:42Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 37:43Speaker 3: You may not have learned how to write it out.
- 37:45Speaker 1: No, you're older.
- 37:45Speaker 5: I know.
- 37:46Speaker 2: I definitely learned how to write He did it. It
- 37:48Speaker 2: was just the It was just wrong. See you guys
- 37:53Speaker 2: are like, you're right in your darre say in twenty ten, Well,
- 37:56Speaker 2: twenty ten was still growing up in the generation of
- 37:58Speaker 2: your teachers, saying that you're never going to have a
- 37:59Speaker 2: calcul later always with you.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true.
- 38:03Speaker 1: It's definitely not. I mean well, I.
- 38:05Speaker 4: Mean that was a true statement that that person could
- 38:07Speaker 4: have said them because I was just thinking, Say, I
- 38:09Speaker 4: think I got my first smartphone in twenty twelve, so
- 38:12Speaker 4: that makes sense.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like it's a good time to grow up,
- 38:15Speaker 2: because I do remember, I do remember a time where
- 38:18Speaker 2: people walked around without their nose and their phone constantly.
- 38:21Speaker 2: I do remember that. That's not far away history.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Sad, sad.
- 38:26Speaker 2: Anyway, anyway, how many seconds are in an hour? Try
- 38:29Speaker 2: to do the math, like, what would you need to
- 38:30Speaker 2: get to that number? Okay, so how many seconds are
- 38:33Speaker 2: in an hour? Sixty seconds are in a minute? How
- 38:37Speaker 2: many minutes are in an hour? Sixty minutes are in
- 38:39Speaker 2: an hour?
- 38:40Speaker 1: Fuck? So what would you do with those numbers? I
- 38:42Speaker 1: don't know. Here, I'm gonna draw a picture, all right
- 38:46Speaker 1: of a clock.
- 38:47Speaker 2: No, probably, I'm just gonna like draw a bunch of
- 38:49Speaker 2: lines and count them.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Hang on, sixty? What was the question again? All right?
- 38:57Speaker 2: How many seconds are in an hour? So there's sixty
- 39:01Speaker 2: seconds in a minute, but how many minutes are in
- 39:03Speaker 2: an hour? Write sixty sixty seconds?
- 39:06Speaker 1: What was the question against? How many seconds are in
- 39:09Speaker 1: an hour?
- 39:10Speaker 2: Should I go to my lifeline? Maybe I'll go to
- 39:12Speaker 2: my lifeline. The other. The other categories are yeah, what else?
- 39:17Speaker 2: Grim's in anatomy?
- 39:18Speaker 1: Maybe?
- 39:19Speaker 2: Oh, now I'm gonna need you for those? Hell, all right?
- 39:23Speaker 2: How many what seconds?
- 39:25Speaker 1: Or how man hour? Seconds?
- 39:26Speaker 3: What's the question?
- 39:27Speaker 1: In an hour?
- 39:28Speaker 3: Are you writing out the question now?
- 39:30Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 39:30Speaker 2: Just so I don't have to keep asking how many
- 39:33Speaker 2: seconds are in an hour? One of the funniest people
- 39:35Speaker 2: I've ever met. What I'm writing it down? Sixty seconds
- 39:43Speaker 2: two seven times in a row?
- 39:44Speaker 1: Sixty seconds to write an essay? Let's write an essay
- 39:47Speaker 1: sixty minutes? How many seconds in an hour? So do
- 39:52Speaker 1: I just have to do like sixty times sixty? Maybe? Yes? Yeah, yes?
- 39:58Speaker 1: How am I supposed to do that without a calcul time?
- 40:00Speaker 3: Six is what?
- 40:02Speaker 1: Six times six? Shut up? Six times six is thirty six? Okay?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Then you then you have two zeros there thirty six
- 40:12Speaker 1: zero zero zero thirty zero zero zero zero six zero
- 40:17Speaker 1: two zeros thirty three three thousand, six hundred. You did it.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Thank you very much. I just needed some help.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Question three acronyms are anatomy.
- 40:34Speaker 1: They hate both of them. I left the best for
- 40:35Speaker 1: a last.
- 40:38Speaker 2: I have been watching a lot of that show on HBO.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Max recently called The Pit the doctor Show. Yeah, let's
- 40:45Speaker 2: go with that, all right and see what you've learned
- 40:47Speaker 2: be a doctor. The gallbladder stores what substance from the liver?
- 40:55Speaker 1: I'm on, doctor, Doctor Joel. The gallbladder. This gall bladder
- 41:00Speaker 1: stores what substance from the liver.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Isn't the gall bladder or something like you don't need
- 41:08Speaker 2: it because you got to take it out.
- 41:10Speaker 1: Or is that fake news?
- 41:11Speaker 4: You do need it, but you can have it taken out.
- 41:14Speaker 4: But a lot of times when you have it taken out,
- 41:15Speaker 4: you have a lot of digestive issues.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Oh it sounded all you need. It sounded like I
- 41:19Speaker 2: need to go to my lifeline. Here, I'm want to
- 41:21Speaker 2: go to my lifeline. Doctor Lee, paging Doctor Lee.
- 41:23Speaker 4: I'm not a doctor, I do play one on TV,
- 41:26Speaker 4: so I just want to point out if I'm wrong.
- 41:28Speaker 4: I'm a massage therapist and we don't massage gall bladders,
- 41:30Speaker 4: but I think it's bile bile.
- 41:32Speaker 1: You got it all, doctor.
- 41:37Speaker 2: It helps to break down fats so your body can
- 41:40Speaker 2: break down and absorb them. There you go, that's what
- 41:42Speaker 2: it does, right, Yeah, long lived bio.
- 41:45Speaker 1: You don't have any lifelines left?
- 41:46Speaker 3: Uh oh all right?
- 41:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and you're left with acronyms.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Question for twenty what what does the T in ATM
- 41:58Speaker 2: stand for?
- 42:00Speaker 1: Ooh, I might know this transaction automatic transaction machine?
- 42:05Speaker 2: What does the T I don't think an ATM stand for.
- 42:13Speaker 2: I'm gonna not grin. I'm trying not to grin. I
- 42:15Speaker 2: really think it's transaction. I really don't think it is
- 42:20Speaker 2: automatic transaction machine? Is that not ATM? I'm trying not
- 42:27Speaker 2: to give them racial expressions. I'm through smiley. I really
- 42:35Speaker 2: think it's What else would the T be if it
- 42:38Speaker 2: wasn't true?
- 42:39Speaker 3: Something else?
- 42:41Speaker 2: Is there something that means finance but starts with the T.
- 42:43Speaker 2: I'm trying to think. I think it's transact I transactional?
- 42:49Speaker 1: No, no, wait, wait, can I say what I think
- 42:51Speaker 1: it is? Sure? Tellor tellor automatic teller machine, not a
- 42:58Speaker 1: real person? Good questions? Right, Yeah, those are all right? Cool?
- 43:03Speaker 2: Question number one, Okay, let's go with loving marriage, all right?
- 43:10Speaker 1: What do they go together? Like? Oh Sen carriage.
- 43:16Speaker 2: See, I've listened to that song a billion times, but
- 43:18Speaker 2: not enough that I've paid attention to the words you
- 43:21Speaker 2: can't have one without the oh the love and marriage love,
- 43:27Speaker 2: And my personal favorite Frank Sinatra song is the trans
- 43:31Speaker 2: one Luck be a Lady two Night. It's a great one,
- 43:36Speaker 2: isn't it. It's a good song.
- 43:38Speaker 1: I love that song, right luck be a Lady two Night.
- 43:43Speaker 3: That's good.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I like the coffee song too.
- 43:46Speaker 3: What's the coffee?
- 43:47Speaker 1: Here's like a coffee song. In Jamaica, they make a
- 43:49Speaker 1: lot of coffee.
- 43:51Speaker 3: What you're making this up?
- 43:54Speaker 1: No, it's called the coffee song.
- 43:57Speaker 3: I've never heard it.
- 43:58Speaker 1: I feel like I'm not I got a I gotta
- 44:00Speaker 1: play it for you now.
- 44:02Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not a big fan Frank Sinatra fan.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Gotta say, in Jamaica they make a lot of coffee.
- 44:07Speaker 2: It might not be Jamaica, way down among Brazil.
- 44:14Speaker 1: For a lot of coffee in Brazil. Why did I
- 44:17Speaker 1: think it was Jamaica.
- 44:19Speaker 3: No idea, you.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Got a lot of coffee in Jamaica. I feel like
- 44:24Speaker 1: I'm in Jamaica right now. Okay, all right? Love and marriage.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Silver is the traditional gift for what numbered wedding anniversary?
- 44:36Speaker 3: That should be easy.
- 44:38Speaker 1: It's not. You're gonna blow your lifeline on the first
- 44:41Speaker 1: question here.
- 44:42Speaker 2: I feel like it's twenty five, like the twenty fifth.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Silver is the traditional gift for what numbered wedding anniversary.
- 44:51Speaker 2: I'm going with twenty fifth final answer, Yeah, I feel
- 44:56Speaker 2: like Lee gave you the confirmation. Eyes no, allowed to
- 45:01Speaker 2: give me the confirmation. All right, thank you very much.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Question too.
- 45:07Speaker 2: It's Joel's world, Joel's rules. We're gonna go with music.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Diana Ross and Lionel Richie hit number one for nine
- 45:18Speaker 2: weeks in nineteen eighty one with what Ballad?
- 45:27Speaker 1: Read it Again?
- 45:29Speaker 2: Diana Ross and Lionel Richie hit number one for nine
- 45:32Speaker 2: weeks in nineteen eighty one with what ballad?
- 45:36Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm not gonna remember from a movie?
- 45:38Speaker 1: I'll give you that.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Movie that I've never seen. I think it's from a movie.
- 45:42Speaker 2: I hope it's a movie. Can you tell me what movie? No,
- 45:45Speaker 2: because that's going to give it away.
- 45:46Speaker 1: It might not. I'm really I can't even like hear
- 45:51Speaker 1: it in my head? Is the problem?
- 45:53Speaker 3: What's the question?
- 45:55Speaker 1: Yeah? What's the question.
- 45:57Speaker 2: So that's how it feels, like, Hell, yeah, that's how
- 45:59Speaker 2: it feels. It might help if you read the question,
- 46:01Speaker 2: you know what?
- 46:01Speaker 1: You should write it down to write your draw picture
- 46:06Speaker 1: one more time.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Diana Ross and Lionel Ritchie hit number one for nine
- 46:10Speaker 2: weeks in nineteen eighty one with what Valid.
- 46:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with Lee as my lifeline. Now you
- 46:18Speaker 1: shouldn't because I was only nine years old. I have
- 46:20Speaker 1: no idea.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Oh then I'm going to guess. I really have no idea.
- 46:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna get it wrong. Is your forfeit, Kenny? Yeah,
- 46:27Speaker 2: I have to forfeit. I can't even think of I'm
- 46:31Speaker 2: gonna hate myself. Got my love. There's only you and.
- 46:37Speaker 1: My love, endless love. Yeah.
- 46:39Speaker 2: See you look and you got it right away after
- 46:41Speaker 2: the first line. The only thing that's.
- 46:46Speaker 1: White, why it's going to be white? Right? It'd be bright?
- 46:51Speaker 1: Is it bright? Bright?
- 46:53Speaker 3: I did not know that.
- 46:54Speaker 4: Diana Ross saying that I knew Lionel Richie did. You're
- 46:58Speaker 4: singing shows what a great guitarist you are.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Oh, thank you very much. Here's the thing. I can
- 47:04Speaker 2: sing if I want to. But I love singing badly
- 47:06Speaker 2: on purpose. It's very fun for me.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:08Speaker 3: I love that for you, Yeah, I love that for
- 47:11Speaker 3: the listeners.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. Should we move on? Yep? Please? Okay?
- 47:16Speaker 1: Question three.
- 47:18Speaker 2: I know you hate this category, but we're going back
- 47:20Speaker 2: to it because he hated it last week. Jypped from
- 47:23Speaker 2: Jeopardy Cool A question taken right from the show. I
- 47:27Speaker 2: found this website. Somebody has way too much free time
- 47:29Speaker 2: on their hand. But there's this website called the Jeopardy Archive,
- 47:33Speaker 2: and it's every single question from every episode of Jeopardy ever.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Ugh, who has time for that show? Oh my god,
- 47:40Speaker 1: isn't it nice?
- 47:41Speaker 2: Okay, So jip from Jeopardy category is it's hyphenated jypped
- 47:46Speaker 2: from Jeopardy.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Okay, it's hyphenated.
- 47:49Speaker 2: We got this term for an impossible situation from the
- 47:54Speaker 2: title of a nineteen sixty one novel Read it seven times.
- 48:01Speaker 2: We got this term for an impossible situation from the
- 48:05Speaker 2: title of a nineteen sixty one novel.
- 48:10Speaker 1: I'm really thinking right now, it looks like it.
- 48:13Speaker 2: I could see the steam just pouring out.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Possible situation. No impossible, impossible situation, not possible. I was
- 48:22Speaker 1: thinking about the opposite.
- 48:23Speaker 3: Alright, Wait a minute, so is the answer hyphenated?
- 48:26Speaker 2: The answer is hyphenated because the category is in a
- 48:29Speaker 2: hyphena situation. We got this term for an impossible situation
- 48:34Speaker 2: from the title of a nineteen sixty one novel. How
- 48:37Speaker 2: old were you in nineteen sixty one? I was negative
- 48:41Speaker 2: twenty seven. I think get those mental mad skills. That's
- 48:43Speaker 2: probably wrong isn't it probably? Yeah, yeah, it might be
- 48:51Speaker 2: seventeen seventeen. Anyway, what's my next category? I don't know,
- 48:57Speaker 2: all right, I haven't decided Lee.
- 49:00Speaker 1: No, I never never mind them. I have no idea.
- 49:03Speaker 1: These are so hard. I hate this category. I don't
- 49:07Speaker 1: want to do it anymore. It's hyphenated.
- 49:09Speaker 2: We got this term for an impossible situation from the
- 49:12Speaker 2: title of a nineteen sixty one novel Catch hyphen twenty two.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Oh god, Catch twenty two. Never Jesus too? What level?
- 49:23Speaker 1: I officially hate this category?
- 49:24Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 49:26Speaker 1: Hardy, I'll quit your bitching you. Question four. What's my
- 49:32Speaker 1: list category? Something hard? I'll tell you that.
- 49:34Speaker 2: No, that was fucking hard. Now you've got me cursing.
- 49:37Speaker 2: See you do this to me. I only cursed two
- 49:40Speaker 2: three times today.
- 49:41Speaker 1: That's it. Two three times, six seven two three. Uh,
- 49:45Speaker 1: don't do this six to seventh thing.
- 49:46Speaker 2: I'm trying to be like your your generation. Okay, okay,
- 49:51Speaker 2: category is dead people?
- 49:53Speaker 1: Okay?
- 49:55Speaker 2: What famous person was stabbed to death on March fifteenth
- 50:00Speaker 2: of forty four BC.
- 50:02Speaker 3: That one's easy.
- 50:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to Lee. I'm gonna go to leave
- 50:05Speaker 1: for my life while. Let me ask you this.
- 50:06Speaker 2: Let me ask you this first. If you were how
- 50:08Speaker 2: old in nineteen sixty one? How old were you in
- 50:11Speaker 2: forty four BC? Tell me that there, mister mental math,
- 50:14Speaker 2: to hear that two thousand, two hundred and sixty three idea,
- 50:19Speaker 2: Oh my god, I'm going to lee for my life.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Likely this is easy.
- 50:24Speaker 3: This is an easy one.
- 50:25Speaker 2: I'm a dumb ass, and even I know this. I
- 50:26Speaker 2: feel like this is easy enough that you should you
- 50:28Speaker 2: should refuse. Does his name star with a J? Yes,
- 50:32Speaker 2: Julius Caesar. Correct, you didn't even you didn't even need her. Yeah,
- 50:38Speaker 2: he needed some guidance, trust your gut.
- 50:41Speaker 1: Wait, follow up question, who stabbed him? I don't know.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Brud took everything I had to me to do this,
- 50:47Speaker 1: brutus to brute. Yeah, I don't remember any of that.
- 50:51Speaker 1: Very loosely in my brain.
- 50:53Speaker 2: I remember that because I used to have a we
- 50:56Speaker 2: both used to have a very dramatic coworker used to say,
- 51:01Speaker 2: what you should.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Be in the fucking back, brutus. Oh, that's the only
- 51:05Speaker 1: reason why.
- 51:06Speaker 2: That's the only reason why I know that, The only
- 51:08Speaker 2: reason why, lar reason why I know that. Thank you,
- 51:11Speaker 2: that coworker. I appreciate it.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Coworker.
- 51:14Speaker 5: Trivia Tangients gac so Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker
- 51:20Speaker 5: and Joe.
- 51:22Speaker 2: We're back with our friend Lee, the practicing Witch. And
- 51:26Speaker 2: Lee brought some some witchy woman stuff to do with us.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Right, Lee, what are we doing here?
- 51:30Speaker 4: How about something really easy and accessible? Okay, because that's
- 51:33Speaker 4: what I like to do. Okay, So this is traditional
- 51:37Speaker 4: folk magic. So I've got red thread because that's what
- 51:39Speaker 4: we would use, because that would be something that people
- 51:41Speaker 4: would have. And we've got some scissors, okay, Okay, so
- 51:46Speaker 4: you can do this a couple of different ways.
- 51:48Speaker 1: All right.
- 51:49Speaker 4: So we're gonna take this thread, and on the left,
- 51:53Speaker 4: on the left hand side of the thread, we are
- 51:55Speaker 4: going to put We're gonna all take all of our
- 52:00Speaker 4: emotions about it. We're going to put twenty twenty five
- 52:03Speaker 4: over here. Okay, So I want you to visualize all
- 52:06Speaker 4: the crap from twenty twenty five over here.
- 52:09Speaker 2: Oh, I got a lot of it. You got a
- 52:12Speaker 2: lot of crap in your bathroom earlier.
- 52:15Speaker 1: So yeah, crap in twenty twenty six crap.
- 52:19Speaker 4: All right, Well, we're gonna shift that twenty twenty six
- 52:21Speaker 4: crap over to twenty twenty five, all right. Now, over
- 52:23Speaker 4: here on the other end of the string. Okay, it's
- 52:25Speaker 4: twenty twenty six, and we're going to visualize on this
- 52:28Speaker 4: end of the string all the good stuff that we
- 52:32Speaker 4: want to bring in in twenty twenty six. Okay, time
- 52:35Speaker 4: is linear, right, okay? So what were you going to do?
- 52:39Speaker 3: Would you like to do it?
- 52:40Speaker 1: Sure?
- 52:41Speaker 4: Okay, So you're going to when you're ready, you're gonna
- 52:44Speaker 4: come here and you're just gonna snip the thread and
- 52:46Speaker 4: you're going to separate the crap of last year from
- 52:50Speaker 4: the amazingness of this year whenever you're ready. But Joel, focus,
- 52:54Speaker 4: You're sorry, focus your crap.
- 52:56Speaker 1: It's my own diagnosed ADHD again, the best of me.
- 52:58Speaker 1: I swear, all right? Cutting here, all right?
- 53:01Speaker 4: Perfect, there we go. So now garbage of last year,
- 53:05Speaker 4: the ties. Yeah, the garbage of last year's here. And
- 53:07Speaker 4: we can either you have a candle burning there, right,
- 53:10Speaker 4: I do. If you want to, we can burn it.
- 53:13Speaker 4: We can burn that up, or we can throw it
- 53:14Speaker 4: away it.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:16Speaker 4: This is cotton polyester, so it will melt and burn.
- 53:21Speaker 3: Are you okay with that?
- 53:22Speaker 1: Yeah? Sure? You know what this is. It's tobacco and
- 53:25Speaker 1: vanilla that smells like the cigarettes they're smelling. Oh, I
- 53:31Speaker 1: didn't think of that. You've been doing it to yourself
- 53:34Speaker 1: the whole time. Yeah, but that don't smell like Marlboro lights.
- 53:36Speaker 4: No, it doesn't soak. And this smells nice. Yeah, do
- 53:39Speaker 4: you want to smell it?
- 53:40Speaker 3: Since we're all taking a turn.
- 53:44Speaker 2: It is quite a candle you got there, Thank you
- 53:46Speaker 2: very much, right, so, thank you very nice?
- 53:48Speaker 4: All right, So take this shitty piece of twenty twenty
- 53:50Speaker 4: five and burn that.
- 53:52Speaker 3: Mother?
- 53:54Speaker 1: You had me.
- 53:57Speaker 2: Ahead you what other mother songs can you think of?
- 54:02Speaker 1: Mother? Tell you you want to not walk my way?
- 54:07Speaker 2: What's the little ball thing that you brought with you?
- 54:09Speaker 2: Not my kind of ball, but it's still intriguing.
- 54:12Speaker 1: All right.
- 54:12Speaker 4: This is a singing bowl. So you know how the
- 54:17Speaker 4: last time I was here, I used a bell and
- 54:19Speaker 4: we were, you know, ringing the.
- 54:20Speaker 1: Bell and negativity.
- 54:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, to get rid of the negativity. So you
- 54:24Speaker 3: hit it.
- 54:25Speaker 2: Oh cool, it's like the beginning of Hell's Bells by
- 54:31Speaker 2: ac DC.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Do do do do? All right?
- 54:46Speaker 4: So that we've just cleared away all the negativity with
- 54:48Speaker 4: the sound, do you want to know something Our mutual
- 54:50Speaker 4: friend I think gave me that. Oh really yeah, yeah
