- 0:57Speaker 2: Excited to be back here Thursday home game Pro Dreams.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Just sitting in the midst of.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Amazing memorabilia, jerseys, helmets, pictures, whatever it is they got
- 1:13Speaker 2: it here, They certainly just about it. I'm still looking
- 1:16Speaker 2: at that Zach Morris tank top over there. If it
- 1:20Speaker 2: keeps staring at me long enough, I might walk out
- 1:22Speaker 2: of here with it one day. I think you just
- 1:23Speaker 2: wear it throughout a show.
- 1:25Speaker 4: One day, Okay. I bet you want bet.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Oh Man, So you also heard Tata there.
- 1:36Speaker 3: We'll get to the Gary Nessmeyer going to likely play
- 1:39Speaker 3: in this game against Southeastern. I know something you and
- 1:41Speaker 3: I talked a lot about yesterday on multiple shows. We
- 1:44Speaker 3: talked about that Thursday Night football is nine great Bill's Dolphins.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Yeah, the Dolphins could come back. You never know.
- 1:52Speaker 2: We get to another opportunity to see the best quarterback
- 1:56Speaker 2: in the NFL playing my loa.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Yeah remember that thought we made in.
- 2:01Speaker 2: The National Championship when it came in off the bench.
- 2:03Speaker 4: That's true, That's very true.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it kind of just seems like every all the
- 2:08Speaker 2: socials and the messaging and the videos coming out of
- 2:11Speaker 2: Miami right now is a little cringe worthy. But look,
- 2:16Speaker 2: there's still NFL professional football players and still can go
- 2:20Speaker 2: out there and have a heck of a game. So
- 2:22Speaker 2: you never really know. None of the primetime games up
- 2:25Speaker 2: to this point this year have disappointed, so could min.
- 2:30Speaker 2: We hope this is going to but it's also fair.
- 2:33Speaker 2: It's just a fact. Yeah, it's not going to be great.
- 2:37Speaker 2: The Bills are good, the Dolphins are pooh yeah, but
- 2:40Speaker 2: they still they still have a puncher's chance, you know, Tyreek,
- 2:44Speaker 2: I was watching some clips of Tyreek actually running some
- 2:47Speaker 2: routes and he still got it. He's still really fast
- 2:50Speaker 2: and he's still getting open. They hadn't gotten the ball yet. Yeah,
- 2:53Speaker 2: it's an issue. It is an issue, and it might
- 2:56Speaker 2: be to his brain.
- 2:57Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know what it is. Too
- 2:59Speaker 4: many bruises on it.
- 3:01Speaker 2: What I mean. I should have asked Doc that yesterday.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I had it in my head. We just started talking
- 3:06Speaker 2: about some other stuff. You also have some bruises on
- 3:09Speaker 2: your brain.
- 3:09Speaker 4: No, I don't have any bruises on my brain.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I was never diagnosed, Like I said, you got some
- 3:16Speaker 2: of those a lot of undiagnosed concussions apparently. But I
- 3:19Speaker 2: did want to ask him about the because two has
- 3:22Speaker 2: been in the news a little bit because of the
- 3:24Speaker 2: disaster that's happening over there. But look, we're two weeks
- 3:26Speaker 2: into the season. You never know what's gonna happen, you know.
- 3:31Speaker 2: They it's like them and the Bears around Everybody thinks
- 3:33Speaker 2: it's like everything's burning down in their facility, which it
- 3:37Speaker 2: could be.
- 3:38Speaker 4: But on an NFL football.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Team, let's give them a little bit of benefit of
- 3:43Speaker 2: the doubt. Two weeks into the season, I'm hoping that
- 3:46Speaker 2: the Dolphins play well to just to make the primetime
- 3:48Speaker 2: game a little bit interesting. I was shut it in
- 3:51Speaker 2: my bed at ten fifteen a night, still locked into
- 3:53Speaker 2: the end of the game.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yeah, you might.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Be watching Rice and Charlotte on field tonight.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Nahou I don't think so.
- 4:02Speaker 3: The OL's that's yeah, we've had a whole segment about ols.
- 4:08Speaker 4: They carried us spilled over to a couple other segments too.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Yeah I did, he did, So let's don't do that
- 4:12Speaker 3: because I know how your brain works. Bruised and all.
- 4:16Speaker 3: It did come out yesterday and Ta mentioned it. They're
- 4:19Speaker 3: in the lead up to the show that Garret ness
- 4:21Speaker 3: Meyer is going to play on Saturday. Brian Kelly said,
- 4:25Speaker 3: I think he needs to play. Garrett wants to play.
- 4:28Speaker 3: He's capable of playing, So.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I don't know if he needs to play. I'm sure
- 4:33Speaker 2: he wants to. What do you think, well, I mean,
- 4:39Speaker 2: every player wants to play, needs a strong statement. It's
- 4:43Speaker 2: got a lot of experience. So he mentioned dialing it
- 4:48Speaker 2: back kind.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Of at practice and dial back a little bit. Maybe
- 4:51Speaker 3: you know what he's doing out there, So trying to
- 4:53Speaker 3: protect him maybe during the week and try to get
- 4:57Speaker 3: some maybe rest there's so certainly you know something you
- 5:01Speaker 3: can try to do. He also mentioned he's now on
- 5:04Speaker 3: the other side of it because we were able to
- 5:07Speaker 3: protect him. So this week is an opportunity for him.
- 5:10Speaker 3: He's doing some things at practice that he hasn't been
- 5:13Speaker 3: able to do in the last month. We are pretty
- 5:15Speaker 3: excited about what he can do this weekend. So you know,
- 5:19Speaker 3: when you get quotes like that, it does sound bank
- 5:22Speaker 3: he is progressing and whatever Torso injury that he has
- 5:27Speaker 3: is getting better right now and they feel like he
- 5:30Speaker 3: is ready to go.
- 5:31Speaker 2: And when when b K says he needs to go,
- 5:36Speaker 2: what does that say to you? It says to me
- 5:39Speaker 2: that the offense needs to get into a rhythm. Yeah,
- 5:41Speaker 2: and they need to go out there and execute against
- 5:44Speaker 2: a somebody with a different color jersey on, different color
- 5:48Speaker 2: helmet on, and just getting a little bit more of
- 5:50Speaker 2: a rhythm. Or it says that if he was a
- 5:56Speaker 2: young player, a new player saying that he needs to
- 5:58Speaker 2: get more game experiencing, get a little bit better, which
- 6:01Speaker 2: isn't the case.
- 6:02Speaker 4: So uh yeah, it's basically he's telling.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Us that they need to go out there and rip
- 6:07Speaker 2: it a little bit in a game situation. Instead of
- 6:10Speaker 2: just doing it in practice.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Now, would this be a situation where, Okay, we know
- 6:16Speaker 3: the opponent, we know we're going to have a lot
- 6:19Speaker 3: of opportunities in this game, and some of those things
- 6:22Speaker 3: that you haven't done in the first three games, let's
- 6:25Speaker 3: see if we can get them done. Like, hey, we
- 6:28Speaker 3: got it at some point. See how far we can
- 6:32Speaker 3: push this deal?
- 6:33Speaker 4: And what are you talking about?
- 6:35Speaker 2: How far you can push it, like physically push.
- 6:38Speaker 4: It all down the fields?
- 6:39Speaker 2: Absolutely, yeah, you can figure that out in practice.
- 6:41Speaker 4: You don't need a game to do that.
- 6:45Speaker 3: You do have a different adrenaline in a game than
- 6:47Speaker 3: you do out in the Ponderosa.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I certainly do. But you don't have a
- 6:53Speaker 2: lot of a journaling against Southeastern dang tat that's for graduatd
- 7:00Speaker 2: That's fine, That's okay. I love Southeastern, I really do.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I'm a big fan, very hydrated. Love the people over there.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I do.
- 7:07Speaker 2: It's just we're talking about l s U right now,
- 7:10Speaker 2: and we're talking about the quarterback with a tourist of
- 7:14Speaker 2: injury that we personally know nothing about. We don't know
- 7:17Speaker 2: the significance of it at all. But like the word
- 7:20Speaker 2: need to go out there. I don't agree with, but
- 7:26Speaker 2: it's not up to me to agree. I'm not the
- 7:28Speaker 2: one in the building. I'm not the not the catch.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Look, brain, Kelly's been doing this long enough that it
- 7:38Speaker 3: and he's hopefully you know, talking with the trainers and
- 7:41Speaker 3: they're saying, Okay, well, here's the deal, here's the plan,
- 7:43Speaker 3: here's here's here's.
- 7:44Speaker 4: What it could be. Yep.
- 7:47Speaker 3: And he has all the information right there, and if
- 7:50Speaker 3: he knows like what it could be and he still
- 7:54Speaker 3: decides to play, I think saying needing is not so
- 7:57Speaker 3: much from a physical standpoint. We need to go see
- 8:00Speaker 3: how far we could push the ball.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It's basically it's kind of like the old Game three
- 8:04Speaker 2: of the preseason, like we need to our offense is
- 8:08Speaker 2: not where it needs to be, probably because of this
- 8:14Speaker 2: Torso injury. Now that we're on the other side of
- 8:16Speaker 2: this thing, now that we're feeling a lot better, let's
- 8:19Speaker 2: go out there and try to get our get our
- 8:21Speaker 2: offense tuned up a little bit. This is like it
- 8:24Speaker 2: kind of a tune up game. You go out there
- 8:25Speaker 2: and you want what did a coach want to see
- 8:27Speaker 2: in the old the old I don't need It's a
- 8:29Speaker 2: Game two of the preseason now where they play the start,
- 8:31Speaker 2: I don't know the whole schedule. So that's why I'm
- 8:33Speaker 2: going to revert back to when we played back.
- 8:35Speaker 4: In our day.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Cete O TV. Here we go game three of the preseason.
- 8:41Speaker 2: It's like, oh, you're going to go play a full half.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Starters are gonna because this is a tune up game.
- 8:45Speaker 2: This is our get ready game. And you go out there,
- 8:47Speaker 2: you try to get in a rhythm. You try to
- 8:49Speaker 2: move the ball, get the right down and distance down schedule,
- 8:52Speaker 2: push the ball a little bit down the field. So
- 8:55Speaker 2: that's what this kind of feels like. We need to
- 8:58Speaker 2: get into a rhythm, is what I'm hearing.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Tiger Dog Inside to buy You for a Chat asked
- 9:03Speaker 3: this question, Flynn, would you sit or play this week
- 9:06Speaker 3: in with a bigger game next week? We talked about
- 9:09Speaker 3: this early in the week US situation where you had
- 9:13Speaker 3: a bad.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Ankle spring even a fracture.
- 9:16Speaker 3: If I'm not mistaken, and you sat out against Middle
- 9:19Speaker 3: Tennessee State.
- 9:20Speaker 4: I don't know who we had the next weekend. I
- 9:22Speaker 4: don't know. I don't remember the U seven schedule that well,
- 9:26Speaker 4: but you did sit out a game. Yeah, I didn't
- 9:28Speaker 4: want to look it up.
- 9:30Speaker 2: If I if I was Garrett Smart, oh my god, yeah, like,
- 9:33Speaker 2: let me go out and play. It hurts me to
- 9:36Speaker 2: not being in practice. It hurts me. Well, it hurt
- 9:40Speaker 2: me in Middle Tennessee to go out there and see
- 9:42Speaker 2: my offensive line, my running backs, my receivers. Having somebody
- 9:46Speaker 2: else call the play in the huddle and taking the snap, well, it.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Makes you feel better sometimes I was having to call
- 9:50Speaker 4: the play in the huddle.
- 9:53Speaker 2: You feel any Yeah, it kind of kind of does, actually,
- 9:57Speaker 2: but it's not up to the player whether you want
- 10:00Speaker 2: to play or not. It's not up to the starting
- 10:02Speaker 2: quarterback if you're you know, we had South Carolina at
- 10:05Speaker 2: home the next week. Yeah, Now it was like I
- 10:09Speaker 2: couldn't like walk, but so that was a thing. Yeah,
- 10:12Speaker 2: but I was like, yeah, numbing up, let's go, let's play.
- 10:14Speaker 4: I don't care who we're playing.
- 10:15Speaker 2: But it's not up to That's why things like that
- 10:18Speaker 2: aren't really up to the player, because it's the cause
- 10:20Speaker 2: your job to protect it from himself. But anyway, we're
- 10:23Speaker 2: not saying that Brian Kelly should do this or should
- 10:26Speaker 2: do that. We're just giving our opinion based on a
- 10:29Speaker 2: low amount of information that we have and what we're guessing,
- 10:32Speaker 2: and all we know is that we're playing southeastern and
- 10:34Speaker 2: we know that based on reading the tea leaves that
- 10:36Speaker 2: the offense has been a little different. But if he
- 10:38Speaker 2: truly is on the other side of this thing and
- 10:40Speaker 2: it is better and they can do in there is
- 10:43Speaker 2: no risk of going and straining or hurting something more.
- 10:46Speaker 2: We don't know if it's a rib. We don't know,
- 10:47Speaker 2: if it's an ap, We don't know if it's he
- 10:50Speaker 2: heard a Sternham. Who knows, Yeah, who knows what the
- 10:52Speaker 2: heck's happening.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Doc said, well, yeah, you know, it could be anywhere
- 10:56Speaker 4: from under the chin to.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Right above the pelvis. Oh okay, so small target, yep,
- 11:03Speaker 3: So we don't know. They might have got hitting the
- 11:06Speaker 3: jewels one inside the Boy four Chat Game four is
- 11:09Speaker 3: our tune up game, good grief. Well, you can tune
- 11:13Speaker 3: up for the SEC portion of your schedule. I know
- 11:16Speaker 3: you've played an SEC game, but now you're taking a
- 11:18Speaker 3: break out of conference, and so yeah, you can absolutely
- 11:22Speaker 3: kind of do that and you can deliver slow.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Yeah, especially if like you haven't.
- 11:27Speaker 2: If this isn't what we're playing a lot of hypotheticals here,
- 11:30Speaker 2: and if the offense has been a little bit subdued
- 11:35Speaker 2: to this point because of an injury. We don't know
- 11:38Speaker 2: that it has, but reading the tea leaves connecting the
- 11:41Speaker 2: dots with what we did a little bit earlier in
- 11:43Speaker 2: the week with you know, the different pass attempts behind
- 11:46Speaker 2: a line of scrimmage, how many pass attempts very short
- 11:49Speaker 2: if you're starting to unleash your whole offense because he
- 11:53Speaker 2: is over the hurdle with this torus injury and he
- 11:55Speaker 2: can start pushing it down the field. Yeah, it can
- 11:57Speaker 2: be a tune up game, absolutely, and your offense has
- 12:01Speaker 2: not performed up to its standards. So when Brian Kelly
- 12:06Speaker 2: says he needs to play, that tells me that he
- 12:08Speaker 2: needs to go out there because we got to get
- 12:10Speaker 2: this thing rolling.
- 12:11Speaker 4: And how do you do that? You tune it up?
- 12:15Speaker 3: Moonfish inside the Bayou Ford, Chad, this needs to be
- 12:18Speaker 3: a two hundred plus yard rushing game in my opinion,
- 12:21Speaker 3: established rhythm with the passing game, but limit shots on
- 12:24Speaker 3: him and don't let the linemen pin their ears.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Back Southeastern Lynmon Yes, Olympic.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Yeah, olymp Like we talked about in the run game yesterday,
- 12:36Speaker 4: It's it's not right now. A physical problem.
- 12:41Speaker 3: I think some different things have had to happen now
- 12:45Speaker 3: that we kind of know what's going on with your quarterback.
- 12:49Speaker 3: And so if he's better, as Brian Kelly mentioned, progressing,
- 12:55Speaker 3: you know, better than he was a week ago.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd like to see some different stuff in the
- 12:59Speaker 4: run game too. Yeah. We got to established throwing game.
- 13:04Speaker 2: You got to be able to set the edge, you
- 13:07Speaker 2: got to be able to move your man, especially this week,
- 13:11Speaker 2: and sorry, just just execute it, run it. Yeah, I'd
- 13:13Speaker 2: like to see him run every single play, Moonfish.
- 13:17Speaker 4: I like this one too.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Are the improvements you guys want to see on the
- 13:20Speaker 3: defense before SEC play?
- 13:21Speaker 4: Or? Is it perfect? I like that one. Not perfect,
- 13:25Speaker 4: it's gosh.
- 13:26Speaker 3: I mean, nothing's perfect as we know, but my god,
- 13:29Speaker 3: it is close to football erotica when you watch LSU's defense.
- 13:35Speaker 3: The coverage has been incredible, the pressure has been incredible.
- 13:38Speaker 3: The tackling more than anything. Maybe that I'm most excited about.
- 13:43Speaker 3: And Flynn mentioned it yesterday. Even if the first guy
- 13:46Speaker 3: doesn't get him on the ground, which oftentimes they do,
- 13:48Speaker 3: there's like two or three people coming with bad.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Intentions to clean it up. Yep, we didn't see that
- 13:54Speaker 4: for a long time.
- 13:55Speaker 3: How many times did you see a safety the last
- 13:58Speaker 3: two years, just missed kind of right there in the alley,
- 14:02Speaker 3: and then all of a sudden, the other player's going sixty,
- 14:05Speaker 3: player's going forty, hitting his head on the goal post
- 14:07Speaker 3: because nobody else.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Listen to the alley. Guys taking bad.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Angles because they're not running full speed, Guys getting getting
- 14:15Speaker 2: blocked for a second, and then kind of giving up
- 14:17Speaker 2: and not fighting to the end, which is something that
- 14:22Speaker 2: is foreign to LSU Tigers. So we're so back, baby,
- 14:26Speaker 2: We're so back. Yeah, no notes, no notes on the defense,
- 14:31Speaker 2: no notes until they forced us to make some notes.
- 14:34Speaker 2: And I don't really see that happening. You must got
- 14:36Speaker 2: too much leadership, too much talent.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and the mentalities like if you don't think it's there,
- 14:43Speaker 3: you didn't watch last week. And what I mean by
- 14:46Speaker 3: that is when you had your captain go out in
- 14:50Speaker 3: what weeks, then you had West Weeks go out in
- 14:53Speaker 3: the game, and everybody that you continue to bring into
- 14:56Speaker 3: the game right there in the middle of your defense,
- 14:59Speaker 3: continue to play with the same attitude, the same mentality,
- 15:03Speaker 3: and at the same level. Like your green dot guy
- 15:07Speaker 3: that here's the coach in his headset goes out, the
- 15:09Speaker 3: next guy that's wearing the green dot goes out, and
- 15:11Speaker 3: you just continue to find a way and then all
- 15:14Speaker 3: of a sudden you got a third Week's brother in
- 15:15Speaker 3: there at the end of the game. But like you
- 15:18Speaker 3: never missed the beat. It's not because those players that
- 15:21Speaker 3: went out aren't good. They're starting for a reason. What
- 15:23Speaker 3: Weeks one of the best players in the country, yep.
- 15:25Speaker 3: But because the mentality and everybody bought into the same thing,
- 15:29Speaker 3: the same philosophy of what we're going to be, not what.
- 15:32Speaker 2: We'd like to be, then that's what happens. Yeah, I
- 15:35Speaker 2: mean you had you probably had. You were able to
- 15:38Speaker 2: keep up that play, even though Lewis the equipment had
- 15:42Speaker 2: had to probably run into the locker room and get
- 15:44Speaker 2: the sheet of green stickers to go put it on
- 15:46Speaker 2: somebody else's helmet because that guy did not his helmet
- 15:50Speaker 2: was not equipped with a speaker inside of it. They
- 15:53Speaker 2: had to put a speaker in there. They had to
- 15:55Speaker 2: run and get the sheet of sheet of standard green
- 15:58Speaker 2: circle stickers and put it on the of his helmet.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Actually, i'd like to I'm gonna try to find that
- 16:02Speaker 3: information out, But how did that grow here?
- 16:05Speaker 4: Exactly?
- 16:06Speaker 3: I'm gonna find out how that actually all went down.
- 16:08Speaker 3: So yeah, no notes right now on the defense, And
- 16:11Speaker 3: again I would say that the way they played in
- 16:15Speaker 3: the fourth quarter against Louisiana Tech still makes me believe
- 16:18Speaker 3: that they're going to play in the fourth quarter like
- 16:19Speaker 3: that regardless of who's in against Southeastern, and that's going
- 16:23Speaker 3: to be something that is going to continue to make
- 16:26Speaker 3: me very happy about how this LSU defense is playing.
- 16:31Speaker 3: West Week's injury status right now, I believe on the
- 16:34Speaker 3: broadcast it was a cash strain. Gordy reported that after
- 16:38Speaker 3: he came out of the tenth There, again, you have
- 16:42Speaker 3: some big ones. You got some big boys coming up,
- 16:44Speaker 3: and that position group has shown that guys can step up,
- 16:48Speaker 3: and so I don't know the status, but I'd be surprised,
- 16:53Speaker 3: I mean, just knowing what you have coming up and
- 16:55Speaker 3: what Wes Weeks is meant to you.

- 19:56Speaker 4: I say, little Drew Brees. I say a lot of
- 19:57Speaker 4: Drew Brees, A lot of Drew. A lot of Drew
- 20:00Speaker 4: in here. That's march. I see some Ricky Jackson. I
- 20:02Speaker 4: see some Taysom Hill.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Uh, Ricky Williams in a wedding dress with Mike Dicka
- 20:08Speaker 3: right behind you.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Hmmm.
- 20:11Speaker 2: We were talking about this the other day in our
- 20:14Speaker 2: you know, in our sports card endeavors. Not that many
- 20:18Speaker 2: valuable Saints cards out there except for Drew Brees that
- 20:24Speaker 2: we've seen.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:25Speaker 3: We're sitting there in the break and we're like, okay,
- 20:29Speaker 3: and this is the ceiling.
- 20:31Speaker 4: So it's a big one. New Orleans Saints, Oh so true,
- 20:35Speaker 4: carry the two.
- 20:36Speaker 2: It's gotta be drewe It's okay.
- 20:40Speaker 4: We have we have not even a rookie.
- 20:42Speaker 3: We have many more players that are near and dear
- 20:45Speaker 3: in our New Orleans Saints hearts from growing up Craig
- 20:49Speaker 3: Ironhead Hayward being a personal favorite. Sure, who could forget
- 20:53Speaker 3: about the Cajun Cannon?
- 20:54Speaker 4: Not us, not us. We're not going to do that.
- 20:58Speaker 3: The Saints hope they got the next k Agent Cannon
- 21:01Speaker 3: and Spencer Rattler, and some good things were said. Yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 3: good things, very good, said Sala, former nflad coach, now
- 21:10Speaker 3: back with the forty nine ers as a defensive coordinator.
- 21:13Speaker 3: You know, mentioned that he believes at Spencer Ratler will
- 21:17Speaker 3: be a household name by the end of the year.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Let's see.
- 21:20Speaker 2: He sure did high praise. I mean coming from a
- 21:22Speaker 2: guy that was a you know, a very recently a
- 21:26Speaker 2: head coach in the NFL. Only thirty two of those
- 21:28Speaker 2: teams in the whole world, Yeah, the greatest thirty two
- 21:31Speaker 2: of the greatest teams in the world. Certainly they weren't good,
- 21:35Speaker 2: but still an NFL team and had head coach, defensive coordinator.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Been in the league a long time, he was in
- 21:40Speaker 4: Seattle when I was there. Great dude, but had high praise.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Has seen a lot of really good quarterbacks, has played
- 21:47Speaker 2: against a lot of really good quarterbacks, has game planned
- 21:50Speaker 2: against them, yeah, and for him to kind of come out,
- 21:54Speaker 2: I don't even know if he was prompted on the
- 21:56Speaker 2: question or not, but yes, said Spencer Ratler would be
- 22:00Speaker 2: a household name because of how twitchy he is as
- 22:04Speaker 2: an athlete, how competitive he was, how accurate he was,
- 22:08Speaker 2: and decisive he was. And that's one thing about that
- 22:10Speaker 2: I've seen from Spencer Ratler up to this point. Is
- 22:13Speaker 2: very decisive with the ball, whether you like it or not.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Like where he's going with it on a down and distance.
- 22:20Speaker 2: He's taking what the defense has given him, and he's
- 22:22Speaker 2: decisive with it. And he is confident in his reads
- 22:27Speaker 2: and a confident player.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Man.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I mean, go back and watch that clip of I
- 22:30Speaker 2: think he scrambled out and got a first down. He
- 22:32Speaker 2: broke like he took a didn't slide, took a took
- 22:35Speaker 2: a shot head on and broke like two or three
- 22:37Speaker 2: tackles right there, spun out and got a first down.
- 22:40Speaker 2: One of those plays that will endear you to the
- 22:42Speaker 2: rest of your team for sure, and make even guys
- 22:45Speaker 2: like Caesar Ruiz play a little bit way.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Hold up, No, let's hold up crazy here. Look, I mean, look,
- 22:52Speaker 3: we haven't gone for nose yet. I don't think we
- 22:54Speaker 3: need to start talking about Caesar Ruiz. Okay, it's only
- 22:57Speaker 3: seven to twenty six in the morning.
- 22:59Speaker 4: That's a good point. I bet that's on me. Guys.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Forget like, let's clip that we.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Only talk about Caesar if we're giving his failing grade. Sure,
- 23:07Speaker 2: but three of those ten players were good true.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Okay, true, yeah, wrong sports for that to be a
- 23:14Speaker 4: good deal. But yes, this baseball being in the Hall
- 23:16Speaker 4: of Fame. Yeah, but yeah. So we talked about like
- 23:19Speaker 4: the quarterback. We didn't feel was going to be the issue. Yeah,
- 23:23Speaker 4: and you were all over that.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I mean, gosh, before the preseason you said that if
- 23:28Speaker 3: the Saints are bad, which right now they'rezero to two,
- 23:31Speaker 3: you say, it is not gonna be a quarterback issue.
- 23:32Speaker 4: And it hasn't been. That has not been the reason
- 23:34Speaker 4: they've lost these games.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Now, he still has to win a game, whether it's
- 23:37Speaker 2: his fall, whether it's not as fall. It doesn't really
- 23:39Speaker 2: matter at the quarterback position because right or wrong, you're
- 23:43Speaker 2: gonna get way too much praise and you're gonna get
- 23:45Speaker 2: way too much criticism no matter how the team is.
- 23:47Speaker 2: That's why football is such a beautiful and the greatest
- 23:50Speaker 2: team sport. Out there because it takes everybody, but he does.
- 23:56Speaker 2: He's gonna if he's got to put a team on
- 23:57Speaker 2: his back and win it himself and make a.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Play, he'll have to do that.
- 24:02Speaker 2: But wins and losses is at the end of the day,
- 24:06Speaker 2: the only thing that really really matters. But you have
- 24:08Speaker 2: to kind of take everything at face value. We know
- 24:10Speaker 2: where we're at with the Saints, we know what we're
- 24:13Speaker 2: doing with a brand new head coach and kind of
- 24:15Speaker 2: the top the top down roster. But it is getting noticed,
- 24:20Speaker 2: and I believe just look at other socials, it is
- 24:22Speaker 2: starting his game.
- 24:23Speaker 4: His play is getting noticed as okay.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Pretty good. I don't even know what the list was.
- 24:28Speaker 2: It was a QBR something. He's ninth in the NFL
- 24:30Speaker 2: up to this point. We did we looked at the
- 24:32Speaker 2: stats of the day. He was like the middle of
- 24:35Speaker 2: the pack, pretty good on one of the stats.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Almost every single category, like he's at least eighteenth or better.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Yep.
- 24:42Speaker 2: And so he's playing well. Now, you got to win
- 24:46Speaker 2: football games at the end of the day as a quarterback,
- 24:48Speaker 2: but a lot to be hopeful for. And it is
- 24:51Speaker 2: getting noticed by former head coaches, and I'm sure it's
- 24:55Speaker 2: getting if it's getting noticed by Robert Sala, it's getting.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Noticed by everybody.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a big even the coordinator, he's just the one.
- 25:01Speaker 2: He's just the first person to say it out loud.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Played him and look, the sample size is there. But
- 25:07Speaker 2: the things that Spencer Ratler is doing well is not
- 25:10Speaker 2: fluky things Like he doesn't go out and scramble and
- 25:13Speaker 2: throw across his body and make like these big, huge
- 25:16Speaker 2: plays that were big flashy plays.
- 25:20Speaker 4: That is not a sustainable thing what he's doing.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Yeah, there's only really, honestly, there's only one guy that
- 25:28Speaker 3: should be doing that.
- 25:29Speaker 4: There's just multiple that are trying to do that right
- 25:31Speaker 4: in the NFL.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Sure, and it's getting them in trouble actually, so you
- 25:34Speaker 3: should actually be happy.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Like you look at like like Anthony Richardson last year,
- 25:39Speaker 2: Like so last year he comes out and he throws
- 25:41Speaker 2: that one, like the eighty five yard pass in the
- 25:43Speaker 2: air touched down. That's a flashy thing. Everyone's like, oh
- 25:45Speaker 2: my god, this guy's gonna be great.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Yeah, you had you thinking who but then you thought
- 25:50Speaker 3: about it afterwards and you're like, you know what I'm saying.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Exactly, So that's what I'm talking about. So young quarterbacks
- 25:57Speaker 2: can go out there and make these crazy plays like
- 25:59Speaker 2: that and you're like.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Oh, wow, that's amazing.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Caleb Williams last year he made all these incredible plays,
- 26:04Speaker 2: but then at the end of the day, he wasn't
- 26:06Speaker 2: working the offense. Spencer Rattler is operating the offense efficiently
- 26:10Speaker 2: the way it's supposed to be. You work it, and
- 26:14Speaker 2: then the flashy plays, the big plays will come off
- 26:16Speaker 2: of that you don't have to force He's not having
- 26:18Speaker 2: to force it. So what I'm seeing from his game
- 26:21Speaker 2: is the consistent gameplay will continue because of his discipline
- 26:26Speaker 2: and willingness to take your checkdowns and be decisive with
- 26:31Speaker 2: his decision making and be accurate with his throws, the
- 26:34Speaker 2: short to intermediate throws, and then his ability to escape
- 26:38Speaker 2: and create and avoid disaster plays. That is a really
- 26:44Speaker 2: good recipe for continuing to play well. And then the
- 26:49Speaker 2: big plays are going to come, the moments are going
- 26:51Speaker 2: to shine, the flash plays they will come. But I
- 26:57Speaker 2: think that there's not going to be a regression type deal.
- 27:00Speaker 2: It's not fluky that how he's played up to this point. No,
- 27:03Speaker 2: I don't think so at all.
- 27:04Speaker 3: And he look, he needs some guys to step up too,
- 27:08Speaker 3: and you can say, well, yeah, the past needs to
- 27:10Speaker 3: be here. To Matt's point on Monday, it wasn't perfect,
- 27:14Speaker 3: But there's ninety guys, it feels like. But truly there's
- 27:20Speaker 3: thirty one other guys that you feel like, can go
- 27:22Speaker 3: make that play right if you're running a post and
- 27:25Speaker 3: it's a little bit on your back hip or if
- 27:27Speaker 3: you're Juwan Johnson and I'm not saying that's an easy catch,
- 27:30Speaker 3: but you're a pass catching tight end. You're certainly not
- 27:33Speaker 3: in there for your blocking. So you got to go
- 27:35Speaker 3: help your quarterback out. Go make those plays. Those are
- 27:38Speaker 3: a couple of plays that if you help him out,
- 27:40Speaker 3: you go make them, you might be at worse.
- 27:43Speaker 2: One in one, that throw to Rattler's throw to alve
- 27:46Speaker 2: was behind back hip for a touchdown. That's one where
- 27:49Speaker 2: both of y'all look at each other and y'all both
- 27:51Speaker 2: have jes yeah, that's on me, and then obviously know
- 27:54Speaker 2: it's on me. I should have had it right. That's
- 27:56Speaker 2: that type of thing. It's just it's so tough, Matt.
- 27:58Speaker 3: You when you watch a game and you watch like
- 28:01Speaker 3: Myleiku neighbors and what he does against the Cowboys last week.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Guy hand over his face, pulling his head to the
- 28:07Speaker 3: side he can't even really see, and he makes a
- 28:09Speaker 3: catch for forty five yard touchdown whatever it might be.
- 28:12Speaker 3: And I'm not just you know, saying the leak because
- 28:14Speaker 3: you know, obviously being an LSU guy. But there's multiple
- 28:17Speaker 3: examples like Ceedee Lamb and you know, Brown and Chase
- 28:21Speaker 3: and all these like they go and they make that play,
- 28:24Speaker 3: and the Saints need somebody to make.
- 28:27Speaker 2: That play right now, with the roster deficiencies you have,
- 28:31Speaker 2: you have to you have to steal games and you
- 28:33Speaker 2: have to make play like you have to make those
- 28:35Speaker 2: type of plays like the the above average, like really
- 28:41Speaker 2: good man love that was a great catch man, way
- 28:44Speaker 2: to way to go many pat on the back way
- 28:48Speaker 2: to help your quarterback out a little bit.
- 28:51Speaker 3: You got to those are those are like those are
- 28:53Speaker 3: plays that if you make them again, I think you
- 28:55Speaker 3: have at least one win and you're trying to get
- 28:57Speaker 3: one on the road against the Seattle Seahall. We'll break
- 29:00Speaker 3: down that game when we come back here on OTV.

- 30:39Speaker 1: Tigers turn Talkers. This is off the bench.
- 30:43Speaker 3: All right, Welcome back in It is OTV again. We
- 30:49Speaker 3: are live on location here at pro Dreams pro dash
- 30:52Speaker 3: dreams dot com. Before we break down, the Saints and
- 30:56Speaker 3: Seahawks want to remind you about our friends over at
- 30:58Speaker 3: Campus Federal.
- 30:59Speaker 4: Campus Federal dot org is the website.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Once you go there, remember you could open an account
- 31:04Speaker 3: right there on the homepage. You can have a conversation
- 31:06Speaker 3: with them at the bottom right corner of it.
- 31:08Speaker 2: I mean, you can do all of that right there
- 31:10Speaker 2: on the homepage.
- 31:12Speaker 3: They've got different checking accounts depending on where you're currently
- 31:15Speaker 3: at right now, what you're currently looking for as well,
- 31:18Speaker 3: and again all that information is right there on the homepage.
- 31:21Speaker 3: You got a little land Yap Light checking, land Yap checking,
- 31:24Speaker 3: young Adult checking, Campus Classic checking. So many different accounts
- 31:28Speaker 3: to choose from because they want to make sure you
- 31:30Speaker 3: have the right account. Campusfederal dot org again is the website,
- 31:34Speaker 3: all right. The New Orleans Saints are seven and a
- 31:36Speaker 3: half point dogs right now, so the Seattle Seahawks, and
- 31:43Speaker 3: this game is going to be on the road.
- 31:46Speaker 4: And I actually don't know what I expected there. The
- 31:49Speaker 4: Seahawks shocking.
- 31:50Speaker 3: The Seahawks beat the Steelers last week they lost to
- 31:53Speaker 3: the forty nine Ers in Week number one. The forty
- 31:56Speaker 3: nine Ers made a late comeback in that game, but
- 31:59Speaker 3: they did look good last week against the Steelers, and
- 32:02Speaker 3: maybe some of our judgment got clouded a little bit
- 32:06Speaker 3: for the Steelers because they went.
- 32:07Speaker 4: Out there and the way they played against the Jets.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Maybe the Jets aren't good either, But it was a
- 32:11Speaker 3: nice victory for the Seahawks. Sam Darnold did throw two interceptions,
- 32:15Speaker 3: but he also threw for almost three hundred yards.
- 32:18Speaker 4: He threw for two scores.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Kenneth Walker, the third, ran for one hundred and five
- 32:22Speaker 3: yards on only thirteen carries. Now, Zach Charbonnday had fifteen
- 32:26Speaker 3: carries for ten yards. That's zero point seven yards per
- 32:30Speaker 3: carry for those keeping score at home, but still Kenneth
- 32:33Speaker 3: Walker was able to have a big day. His longest
- 32:36Speaker 3: run was only twenty yards and still had one hundred
- 32:38Speaker 3: and five on just thirteen carries. So a little bit
- 32:42Speaker 3: of a mixed bag for the Seattle Seahawks here in
- 32:45Speaker 3: the first two weeks. But it's a big number. It
- 32:48Speaker 3: is a big number.
- 32:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:50Speaker 2: I was watching that game because I've been watching a
- 32:54Speaker 2: lot of the noon games because we got little we
- 32:56Speaker 2: have little flight football Priditts in the afternoon, so I'm
- 32:58Speaker 2: locked into the noon game. So I've watched the Steelers
- 33:00Speaker 2: played the first two weeks, and so it was the
- 33:03Speaker 2: Steelers Seahawks this past weekend. And I just don't think
- 33:06Speaker 2: the Steelers are very good on defense, honestly. I mean,
- 33:10Speaker 2: justin Fields like played the game of his career. He
- 33:13Speaker 2: looked like he was back into Ohio State, you know
- 33:14Speaker 2: what I mean. Against this Pittsburgh defense did not look
- 33:18Speaker 2: very good. So I think it's easy to get, especially
- 33:22Speaker 2: from a Vegas standpoint, easy to get really high on
- 33:24Speaker 2: the Seahawks right now. They probably got unlucky to lose
- 33:30Speaker 2: that first game against the Niners of Brock Purty scrambles
- 33:34Speaker 2: out throws just like a jump ball on the end
- 33:36Speaker 2: Zone's about like it's going right towards the defender and
- 33:39Speaker 2: a guy makes an incredible play for Brock Perdy to
- 33:42Speaker 2: win that game. But yeah, it's uh, I think they're
- 33:46Speaker 2: probably pretty good. And Sam Donald, you think Minnesota's thinking
- 33:51Speaker 2: about little Little Seller's remorse.
- 33:54Speaker 4: On that one.
- 33:55Speaker 2: On the Sam Donald played so well last last year
- 33:59Speaker 2: for Anesota Vikings, got that big contract from Seattle. I
- 34:02Speaker 2: don't think Minnesota even tried to sign and they're like,
- 34:06Speaker 2: all right, is JJ McCarthy or bus now? And I
- 34:08Speaker 2: think they're starting to realize that. I think I'm saying
- 34:10Speaker 2: that was a pretty good little quarterback in the NFL,
- 34:13Speaker 2: So he's uh, now, Seattle, I don't know. You know,
- 34:16Speaker 2: I still kind of root against Seattle, So why for
- 34:20Speaker 2: no reason? I mean, like, why would you do that?
- 34:23Speaker 2: They're actually good to me, you know what I mean?
- 34:24Speaker 2: But you know I still root against them just from
- 34:26Speaker 2: the competitive side. Yeah, but yeah, seven and a half
- 34:28Speaker 2: is big numbers for the NFL. Seattle is a tough
- 34:33Speaker 2: place to play. It is very loud in that stadium.
- 34:35Speaker 2: I don't know if it's as loud as it used
- 34:36Speaker 2: to be. Back when I was there and playing against
- 34:40Speaker 2: them in that stadium, it was loud loud. Now I
- 34:47Speaker 2: think a lot of it was artificial, a lot of
- 34:49Speaker 2: crowd noise being pumped into that stadium, I think, but
- 34:52Speaker 2: it was still an intimidating place to play.
- 34:54Speaker 4: So we'll see. It's like two games in.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Nobody really knows what any of these teams are except
- 35:00Speaker 2: for like the for sure top dogs in the league.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Right now, we know the really really good ones. But
- 35:06Speaker 2: I think it's still remains to be seeing on who
- 35:08Speaker 2: the bad, bad bad ones are.
- 35:11Speaker 4: I think you're gonna see one of those tonight, but.
- 35:14Speaker 2: We'll see, we'll see, all right. Uh So, look, seven
- 35:19Speaker 2: and a half is a big number. I'm gonna stay
- 35:21Speaker 2: on the Saints train. I'm gonna say they're gonna get
- 35:22Speaker 2: it figured out. They're gonna make one of those plays
- 35:25Speaker 2: that we've been talking about. Alave is gonna be happy
- 35:29Speaker 2: and he's not gonna look like he's concussed out there,
- 35:31Speaker 2: and he's gonna make some big time plays this week.
- 35:33Speaker 4: I'm gonna say that, all right.
- 35:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna keep saying they're gonna win until they win,
- 35:36Speaker 2: until they win, and they'm gonna be like I told y'all,
- 35:38Speaker 2: told y'all, they were gonna win this one.
- 35:41Speaker 4: It's the playbook.
- 35:43Speaker 3: You also, Okay, incredibility here too, you know, oh yeah, yeah,
- 35:47Speaker 3: you gotta have that now. But I'm going jay journalists
- 35:49Speaker 3: over here, Okay. Trevor Pinning is questionable. Uh, Chase Young
- 35:55Speaker 3: is questionable, Trey Palmer questionable.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Uh So you're still dealing with some injuries there.
- 36:02Speaker 3: You'd love to see Trevor Pinning back, Uh, to try
- 36:05Speaker 3: to solidify anything that they can solidify with the interior
- 36:08Speaker 3: of the offensive front.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Because you know, Caesar's not going to what are you
- 36:12Speaker 2: talking about that? It's it's it's so good of a morning.
- 36:15Speaker 2: We should we whisper it from now on, Caesar, you can't.
- 36:18Speaker 2: You are not allowed on this show to say his
- 36:20Speaker 2: name at full volume voice. You have to whisper it, Okay, Caesar,
- 36:24Speaker 2: all right? Don't want to be a poser. Caesar poser?
- 36:30Speaker 4: What a word?
- 36:31Speaker 3: Man?
- 36:31Speaker 4: About that?
- 36:31Speaker 2: Let's bring it back first one of the days. What
- 36:33Speaker 2: a great word it is?
- 36:34Speaker 4: Now? Uh. We used to use it a lot in
- 36:36Speaker 4: middle school.
- 36:37Speaker 2: I think it came to fruition and popularity for from
- 36:42Speaker 2: the skating community, was it? I think skating and we
- 36:47Speaker 2: were talking about bladant like bladan alright, you remember, uh,
- 36:50Speaker 2: like middle school, you'd wear the what were the what
- 36:53Speaker 2: were the shoes called the head the wheel on Hey's Heely's.
- 36:56Speaker 2: You have the heelis or you have the grinders like
- 36:58Speaker 2: it was the uh had the I had like the
- 37:03Speaker 2: little arch in the middle of it that was like
- 37:04Speaker 2: fiberglass and you could like grind like you were on skates.
- 37:08Speaker 4: You remember those we had a we had a right tackle.
- 37:10Speaker 4: I'm not gonna say his name. You can look it up.
- 37:12Speaker 4: You're going to in San Diego.
- 37:14Speaker 3: And he was notorious for any dynamic edge rusher that
- 37:20Speaker 3: we played against.
- 37:21Speaker 4: He taped his hip. I'm going down.
- 37:23Speaker 3: I'm like, so you canna leave me on Tom Bodley,
- 37:25Speaker 3: You're gonna leave me on Terrell Suggs and past protections
- 37:29Speaker 3: like you're going down Like that's and notorious. Like if
- 37:33Speaker 3: it was like if you know, like yeah, he could
- 37:36Speaker 3: kind of make a case that he needed to squeeze whatever.
- 37:38Speaker 4: I'm like, dude, come on, bruh, like you did not.
- 37:41Speaker 4: And so one time.
- 37:45Speaker 3: One time I got really mad and went over to him.
- 37:49Speaker 3: I'm like, hey, I didn't know he may makee cleats.
- 37:52Speaker 3: He's like, what do you mean. I go, well, your
- 37:55Speaker 3: clices don't have wheels on the bottom of him, because
- 37:56Speaker 3: I swear.
- 37:57Speaker 4: To god, the guy just pushed you right back into me.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I was just wondering, how did you get that sponsorship deal?
- 38:02Speaker 4: He got so mad. I was like, dude, were winning
- 38:04Speaker 4: the game by like three touchdowns, like check out. So
- 38:08Speaker 4: that's how I know what heales are? All right?
- 38:10Speaker 2: And the huddle never fails. You remember these soaps shoes
- 38:16Speaker 2: They had the little arc and the do you remember this?
- 38:19Speaker 2: You can like grind on like a bench or something
- 38:20Speaker 2: like a park bench. Oh dude, gnarly.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Okay, On that note with him saying gnarly, we'll go
- 38:28Speaker 3: ahead and uh, we'll take a break before what a
- 38:33Speaker 3: before he starts bringing out any more of these terms.
- 38:36Speaker 3: More to be when we come back off the bench
- 38:42Speaker 3: treading some nar before we get out of here, all right,

- 40:08Speaker 3: know it's one of the things here on location.
- 40:10Speaker 4: You know, music kind of stops in your year a
- 40:11Speaker 4: little bit.
- 40:12Speaker 2: I thought I was back in the LSU weight room
- 40:14Speaker 2: with Dilman and Earl yelling.
- 40:17Speaker 3: Yeah, crank the diesel. Hey, what was the one they
- 40:24Speaker 3: used to the pain leaving the bottle? Was the gosh,
- 40:27Speaker 3: it's the CHOPSU.
- 40:28Speaker 4: I don't remember. We used to have Scott Cochrane and
- 40:31Speaker 4: Dilman and Moffatt and uh.
- 40:34Speaker 2: We got confirmation too from a laundra that indeed the
- 40:39Speaker 2: term poser it is from the skating community, all right.
- 40:42Speaker 4: I thought I was from the like Surfy.
- 40:44Speaker 2: And I'm gonna say probably when so I was in
- 40:47Speaker 2: middle school, so that would have to be ninety eight,
- 40:49Speaker 2: ninety seven eight something like that, your poser. I had
- 40:56Speaker 2: a good time yesterday afternoon chopping it up with you.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Went off campus with Jimbo fish Eye. Yeah, we did.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Like Jimbo. So typically on Tuesdays, Jimbo's co host with
- 41:05Speaker 4: me and EJ.
- 41:06Speaker 3: He had to move days to Wednesday because he's working
- 41:09Speaker 3: for the ACC Network now so he's doing like profiles
- 41:11Speaker 3: and different things, and so he had one of those
- 41:13Speaker 3: on Tuesday.
- 41:14Speaker 2: But this man's.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Football memory. So we were talking. He was talking about
- 41:22Speaker 3: I don't even know how he got. There's like conference
- 41:25Speaker 3: games and you got to treat your opponent this, that
- 41:27Speaker 3: and the other. He's like, you know, even when we
- 41:30Speaker 3: played Kentucky in two thousand and six, you remember that, Jake.
- 41:32Speaker 3: I was like, no, what He's like, yeah, you scored
- 41:36Speaker 3: two touchdowns on forty eight hornballs.
- 41:38Speaker 2: And he's like, Matt, he had this, that and the other.
- 41:40Speaker 3: I was like, Matt, you know sie He goes, yeah,
- 41:42Speaker 3: he came in through two touchdowns and he knew the
- 41:44Speaker 3: play from a random ass Kentucky game in two thousand
- 41:48Speaker 3: and six we won forty nine to nothing. Okay, he
- 41:52Speaker 3: knew the play that you threw two touchdowns as the
- 41:55Speaker 3: backup quarterback that day.
- 41:56Speaker 4: Yep, And he said it.
- 41:58Speaker 2: When I got on, he was do you remember you
- 42:00Speaker 2: remember your stats from that game? I'm like, nah, dude,
- 42:02Speaker 2: I don't even remember I played that game.
- 42:06Speaker 3: No.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Six, Like you're talking about the fourth quarter when we're
- 42:09Speaker 2: up to thirty five nothing.
- 42:10Speaker 3: I think you said you threw a touchdown a bow though,
- 42:12Speaker 3: No big deal. Yeah score two tuds that game you
- 42:15Speaker 3: threw too. Not that big of a deal between us.
- 42:20Speaker 4: But uh yeah, he's uh yeah, he's a good position
- 42:23Speaker 4: to the show. I bet he is.
- 42:24Speaker 2: It's uh Now, I can imagine how three people would
- 42:27Speaker 2: be tough doing an interview, chopping it up like that.
- 42:31Speaker 4: Well, how's the rotation go? It's you.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Well, we treated you a little bit different.
- 42:35Speaker 3: Yeah, we double breaked and we just had a thirty
- 42:38Speaker 3: minute slot because we knew were like, this is gonna
- 42:40Speaker 3: be some random comments. It's gonna be squirrel. Yeah, you know,
- 42:43Speaker 3: so we blocked off thirty but yeah, typically just go
- 42:45Speaker 3: down to order. Yeah, and then Jimbo goes out of order,
- 42:48Speaker 3: no doubt like jim but I got to get in there.
- 42:50Speaker 3: We had John Summrall on the two lane head coach
- 42:52Speaker 3: and fantastic by the way, one of my favorite interviews
- 42:55Speaker 3: every single time.
- 42:56Speaker 4: And it was gonna go. It was going to go
- 42:57Speaker 4: me and then Jimbo and then he Jay and I
- 43:00Speaker 4: would go.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Jimbo would go, and then Jimbo would go again, and
- 43:03Speaker 3: then EJ would go, and then Jimbo would go again.
- 43:07Speaker 2: At a certain point, it was just a conversation between
- 43:09Speaker 2: him and Jimbo.
- 43:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it was.
- 43:11Speaker 3: It was. But they got they got a big one.
- 43:13Speaker 3: They got a biggie Tulane traveling to Old Miss, excited
- 43:17Speaker 3: about that. Julane's already taken down a school out of
- 43:19Speaker 3: the ACC, a school out of the Big ten. It'd
- 43:22Speaker 3: beat a you know, good Sun Belt team. They add
- 43:25Speaker 3: sec to the resume. They could lose an American game,
- 43:28Speaker 3: win that championship and being the Cause Football Playoff. They've
- 43:31Speaker 3: played Old Miss tough before. They played like Jackson dart
- 43:35Speaker 3: Old missed very tough before two lane teams.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Good man, yep, and we WoT the score.
- 43:40Speaker 3: For you last week either they they beat up on Duke.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Duke scored a garbage touchdown kind of late in the game.
- 43:46Speaker 4: Yea.
- 43:46Speaker 2: And can we just get how a basing a big
- 43:48Speaker 2: get an L s U two lane playoff game in
- 43:51Speaker 2: Tiger Stadium in Tiger Stadium be awesome. That means we
- 43:55Speaker 2: wouldn't get a buy though, Yeah no, but we get
- 43:59Speaker 2: a home game. I know that's pretty sweet.
- 44:02Speaker 4: I know, I know, I look that would that be a.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Note for you?
- 44:06Speaker 3: Text me, Hunt, I know it's not smart. I know,
- 44:08Speaker 3: we get it's an extra game. Fine, we're meatheads. Okay,
- 44:11Speaker 3: we want to see a playoff game in depth. But
- 44:13Speaker 3: think about the economy. Think about the economy.
- 44:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Do you even love Baton Rouge?
- 44:17Speaker 4: Yeah? You love the restaurants at hotels?
- 44:19Speaker 2: Yeah, people asking the question, Yeah, people have people talking Hunt.
- 44:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd love them. I love them.
- 44:26Speaker 3: It would be so oh my god, it'd be electric.
- 44:29Speaker 3: And if it was if it was them, you know,
- 44:32Speaker 3: an old rival they bring people.
- 44:33Speaker 2: To They tough to get a parking past. Probably though
- 44:36Speaker 2: it's all you ever worry about is a parking pass.
- 44:40Speaker 3: If this man is going to a game, he's he's
- 44:43Speaker 3: only asking questions about parking pass.
- 44:45Speaker 4: I do not like to.
- 44:48Speaker 2: One of the few things that stresses me out in
- 44:50Speaker 2: life is having to fight for parking spots.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Don't like it.
- 44:56Speaker 2: So it's sometimes it's a deciding factor whether I'm going
- 44:59Speaker 2: to a game or.
- 45:00Speaker 4: It's one thousand percent. I have heard you say you're
- 45:02Speaker 4: not going, because yeah, you're right.
- 45:03Speaker 2: It's not just sometimes. It's an every time. If I
- 45:05Speaker 2: don't have a parking bess, I'm not going and it
- 45:06Speaker 2: is not. Yeah, maybe that's spoiled.
- 45:09Speaker 4: Not to make care. I'm finally you're spoiled. Come on, cobble,
- 45:14Speaker 4: you're a poser.
- 45:20Speaker 2: Someone in the chat actually said that they were using
- 45:22Speaker 2: the word poser in the eighties. Really, that's sharking to me.
- 45:26Speaker 2: I thought it was nineties. Well, I mean it was popular.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Maybe it's just a middle soo. Maybe everyone says it
- 45:31Speaker 2: in middle school. Maybe so you poser.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like there's a movie that really honed
- 45:37Speaker 3: in on the poser stuff. I don't know what it is,
- 45:40Speaker 3: but I'll look it up. I'll ask your friend. Your
- 45:42Speaker 3: friend be able to tell me oh for sure. Yeah,
- 45:44Speaker 3: which movie kept saying, Poser like it was cool? Free
- 45:48Speaker 3: that out It is cool, still cool. We're bringing it back,
- 45:50Speaker 3: spring it back, bat Urge. All right, Poser, Yeah, all right,
