- 0:00Speaker 1: Come on, uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 0:07Speaker 2: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now
- 0:10Speaker 2: one and on that Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well,
- 0:16Speaker 2: all right, I've learned something and it's sharing time. And
- 0:24Speaker 2: I am ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for all
- 0:29Speaker 2: that he allows me to learn in my life. Well,
- 0:34Speaker 2: one of the best lessons I've learned is that hardship
- 0:41Speaker 2: teaches you some great lessons. Challenges brings about some of
- 0:47Speaker 2: my best results. I think what I'm trying to say
- 0:51Speaker 2: is and every challenge in hardship, every setback, I've learned
- 0:58Speaker 2: something so so valuable. So here's here's what I've You know,
- 1:05Speaker 2: I've known this, but I've just learned it at a
- 1:07Speaker 2: different angle. Appreciation and gratitude is the key to having more.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I don't know how that sound to you, but I
- 1:23Speaker 2: can't tell you how true it is. God being fair
- 1:27Speaker 2: and just as he really is.
- 1:29Speaker 1: He really is. He's a fair and a just God.
- 1:32Speaker 2: What's most beneficial to us is he happens to be
- 1:36Speaker 2: full of mercy and grace. And I'm telling you something, man,
- 1:44Speaker 2: I've probably benefited from his grace and mercy more than
- 1:52Speaker 2: anything else. I mean, really, man, if it wasn't for
- 1:55Speaker 2: him just forgiving me, and then for him just touching
- 2:02Speaker 2: my life the way he has, I mean, I'm not
- 2:05Speaker 2: here in this position today.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I'm just not.
- 2:09Speaker 2: But a funny thing has happened along the way, even
- 2:12Speaker 2: to you, if you look at it, is that your
- 2:16Speaker 2: genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to you
- 2:22Speaker 2: having more for your continued blessings and for making room
- 2:29Speaker 2: for Heaven to open up and pour out blessings that
- 2:31Speaker 2: you don't have room enough to receive. If you look
- 2:34Speaker 2: at it, see God being affair and just God, which
- 2:37Speaker 2: he is.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Why would he put more on you than you can bear?
- 2:45Speaker 2: If you've noticed everything that's happened in your life, if
- 2:49Speaker 2: you're still here, you've made it.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You know, forget how rough it was, got that, but
- 2:55Speaker 1: you made it. Forget what it sent you through, and
- 2:59Speaker 1: it how it made you feel. You made it.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Now, what makes people give up, and you hear about
- 3:07Speaker 2: people committing suicide is they leave the God out of
- 3:10Speaker 2: their life and they start allowing that other voice to control.
- 3:15Speaker 2: And if it's really true that God never puts more
- 3:18Speaker 2: on you than you can bear, as long as you
- 3:20Speaker 2: stay connected to God, you can get through anything. But
- 3:24Speaker 2: you lose that connection, you lose that communication, you lose
- 3:31Speaker 2: that relationship with him. If you're not having a relationship
- 3:34Speaker 2: with God, then who you having a relationship with? No,
- 3:40Speaker 2: it ain't but two forces at work at all time.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It's good and evil. It's positive and negative is God,
- 3:51Speaker 2: it's Satan.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Now, this is at work all the time.
- 3:56Speaker 2: So if you're not being positive about everything, you leave
- 4:00Speaker 2: room for negativity to step in. If you're not trying
- 4:05Speaker 2: to be righteous in your way, then you allow evil
- 4:08Speaker 2: to step in. If you don't work on your relationship
- 4:12Speaker 2: with God. Come on, now, look who you're letting step in.
- 4:18Speaker 2: So now I'm asking you to understand that God never
- 4:23Speaker 2: puts more on you than you can bear.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Okay, now that we got that clear, that's a fact. Okay.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Now with that fact in mind, let's go over this
- 4:31Speaker 2: right here. Why would God, being as just and merciful
- 4:35Speaker 2: as he is, put more on you than you can bear? Example,
- 4:41Speaker 2: if God has given you blessings and all you're doing
- 4:45Speaker 2: is complaining about him, you're never showing any appreciation of
- 4:49Speaker 2: gratitude about it, why would he give you some more
- 4:52Speaker 2: stuff to be ungrateful for why would he give you
- 4:55Speaker 2: some more stuff to complain about? Why would he give
- 4:58Speaker 2: you some more stuff that you would not show any
- 5:00Speaker 2: more appreciation for. I mean, this thing is real simple, man,
- 5:04Speaker 2: ain't it? If you think about it? So A lot
- 5:06Speaker 2: of times, man, when I was going through my positions
- 5:09Speaker 2: of not having it and wondering at all like her,
- 5:12Speaker 2: I ended up checking myself and going, man, I'm not
- 5:15Speaker 2: even showing any gratitude or appreciation for the things he
- 5:18Speaker 2: has done for me. Start showing some appreciation and gratitude,
- 5:22Speaker 2: because it's the key to having more. It's the key
- 5:25Speaker 2: to continued blessings, is the key to the wonders of
- 5:29Speaker 2: heaven opening up and pouring out a blessing that you
- 5:32Speaker 2: won't have room enough to receive. It's the appreciation and
- 5:36Speaker 2: gratitude of what you already have, as minimal as it
- 5:41Speaker 2: may appear to be right now for you, it is
- 5:44Speaker 2: still what you have. But if you've shown no gratitude
- 5:50Speaker 2: for the minimal, why would he give you the maximum?
- 5:57Speaker 2: I mean, I'm just really just trying to real, real
- 6:00Speaker 2: simple so I can keep understanding this thing right here.
- 6:04Speaker 2: So let me give you an example in my life.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I had gotten so busy at one point that I
- 6:11Speaker 2: had began to complain about how busy I was. This
- 6:17Speaker 2: is true because I am busy, but it ain't the
- 6:21Speaker 2: busy part because I asked to be busy, you know,
- 6:25Speaker 2: I asked God to give me opportunities and to make
- 6:29Speaker 2: a way for me. Well, in that, you got to
- 6:31Speaker 2: do something, and you got to get busy. But I
- 6:35Speaker 2: began to complain about the busyness and how busy I was,
- 6:40Speaker 2: and I noticed that a couple.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Of things slowed up for me.
- 6:44Speaker 2: So I had got to the point where I wasn't
- 6:47Speaker 2: showing real gratitude for it. Well, I looked up and
- 6:50Speaker 2: a couple of things started slowing down, and then I
- 6:53Speaker 2: had to catch myself, and I went, wow, man, you
- 6:56Speaker 2: have got to start embracing the fact that you are
- 6:59Speaker 2: this busy, embrace the fact that what all comes along
- 7:03Speaker 2: with it. Because to whom much is given, much is required.
- 7:06Speaker 2: You gotta start embracing the requirement part if you want
- 7:11Speaker 2: to continue with the giving part. So I changed my attitude.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I caught myself, and I started thinking them and showing
- 7:18Speaker 2: real gratitude for how busy I was instead of complaining
- 7:21Speaker 2: about how busy I was, and then guess what, It
- 7:23Speaker 2: opened up the windows of heaven and some.
- 7:25Speaker 1: More blessings got pulled out.
- 7:27Speaker 2: It just works that way all the time, for everybody,
- 7:31Speaker 2: for me, for you, for everybody. So listen, y'all again.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Your appreciation and gratitude is the key to having more.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Your appreciation and gratitude is the key to continued blessings,
- 7:42Speaker 2: and your appreciation and gratitude is the only way that
- 7:46Speaker 2: you can get those windows of heaven to open up
- 7:49Speaker 2: and pull out these blessings that you won't have room
- 7:51Speaker 2: enough to receive. You got to act like you're glad
- 7:54Speaker 2: for what you've got in order to get more. You
- 7:56Speaker 2: feel me huh, let's go.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey Morning Show.
