- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Seacrest!
- 0:04Speaker 1: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. Good morning, everybody.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Let me hear the energy. I want some spirit sticks.
- 0:11Speaker 1: We're here. I got spirit. I got spirit. How about you?
- 0:16Speaker 4: We've got spirit. We've got spirit. Throw it back at you.
- 0:20Speaker 1: That's it. That's what I was trying to chant. Great
- 0:23Speaker 1: to be here. I got excited about the alarm. I
- 0:25Speaker 1: beat the alarm this morning. Don't know why, but I
- 0:27Speaker 1: beat the alarm. Had some cereal. I don't have cereal
- 0:30Speaker 1: before the show ever.
- 0:31Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Got excited.
- 0:32Speaker 5: Had some cereal.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Sweetened the milk with cinnamon, not sugar. Nice.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Mmm.
- 0:37Speaker 5: And here we are.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Now, I feel it in my stomach right now. Like,
- 0:40Speaker 1: you know, talking like this, I feel it in my
- 0:41Speaker 1: stomach a little bit. So it's an unusual feeling to
- 0:44Speaker 1: start the show. Question, Sisney and Tanya. I'm seeing more
- 0:48Speaker 1: of this out when I run to the store in
- 0:50Speaker 1: the evening to pick something up or in the morning
- 0:53Speaker 1: on the weekend. And I'm beginning to change my position.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Is it okay to wear pajamas to run a quick errand?
- 1:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Some pajamas are borderline leisure wear.
- 1:03Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Like a nice little sweatsuit set.
- 1:07Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 1: It's not sweatsuit. It's pajama. Like you could sleep in it,
- 1:10Speaker 1: but it's loose and maybe it's a buttony shirt, but
- 1:14Speaker 1: I'm seeing this pajama look with sneakers or sandals, not,
- 1:19Speaker 1: not slippers, but with sandals. And I'm thinking, you know what?
- 1:23Speaker 1: It could, There's a blurred line there. That could be
- 1:26Speaker 1: PJs and it could be grab an errand in wear.
- 1:29Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 7: Are you talking about almost like the satin looking pajamas?
- 1:32Speaker 7: Or is it like a loose pant? Not the sexy.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Satin pajamas that I see in the movies.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Flannel pants.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that kind of vibe. Flannel pants and some slip-ons
- 1:40Speaker 1: or sandals with a t-shirt. It's pajamas.
- 1:43Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:44Speaker 1: It's becoming more and more acceptable. I think it's okay.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Baggy and loose. What's the point? Especially a weekend morning.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Yeah, let your hair down.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Ruby, is that a hard no from you?
- 1:57Speaker 11: It's a hard no.
- 1:58Speaker 3: But also my mom, shout out to Aurora, she'd always
- 2:00Speaker 3: be like, do not go out in your pijama.
- 2:04Speaker 11: That's how you say it in Spanish. So in your PJs.
- 2:06Speaker 11: She was like, don't embarrass me.
- 2:08Speaker 3: But she would just say, do not do that. Because
- 2:10Speaker 3: then you go back home, if they are your PJs,
- 2:13Speaker 3: and you lay down. in clothes that's been out in
- 2:16Speaker 3: the streets.
- 2:16Speaker 1: That's true. Laid down in the street or the aisle.
- 2:19Speaker 11: No, but they're just hanging on the floor.
- 2:21Speaker 10: There's elements.
- 2:22Speaker 4: No, they're like outside air.
- 2:23Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 1: I'm starting to think lazy is in vogue. It's okay
- 2:30Speaker 1: on a weekend. Especially on a weekend.
- 2:31Speaker 5: Or late.
- 2:32Speaker 1: You got to run something and get late. It's okay.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Stop being so harsh. You guys are so rigid sometimes.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Do you know what I forgot to tell you about yesterday?
- 2:40Speaker 1: Tell me.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I had lunch with an ex-girlfriend of yours.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Well, let's do that coming up. I didn't know about that.
- 2:45Speaker 1: She didn't tell me. Stand by for that in a
- 2:47Speaker 1: few minutes. I can't wait to hear how that went
- 2:49Speaker 1: and why. And why didn't you give me a heads up?
- 2:52Speaker 1: That's not right. Well, I'll explain.
- 2:55Speaker 13: Hold on.
- 2:56Speaker 5: Hold on.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Long Beach next. We're paying a bill. So I'm just
- 2:59Speaker 1: thinking like when something's on your schedule, there are a
- 3:03Speaker 1: few things that might. trigger or indicate that you give
- 3:07Speaker 1: somebody a heads up. For example, if I'm going to
- 3:09Speaker 1: have lunch or dinner or go in a wave pool
- 3:14Speaker 1: with Michael or Robbie, your significance, I'd probably say, Hey,
- 3:18Speaker 1: by the way, I'm so psyched. Uh, Robbie and Mike,
- 3:22Speaker 1: we're going to surf club training this. What's that surfing
- 3:25Speaker 1: place out in the way out that surf city. No,
- 3:28Speaker 1: there's a surf, uh, surf lodge.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Surf school. We're going to surf school this week.
- 3:32Speaker 1: I would give you a heads up. We're going to
- 3:33Speaker 1: surf school this weekend.
- 3:34Speaker 11: A surf school?
- 3:36Speaker 1: I'm just making up an activity.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Yeah, it was very random.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Well, Tanya, it's random that you went to lunch with
- 3:40Speaker 1: an ex-girlfriend of mine and you didn't tell me. Okay.
- 3:43Speaker 4: So first of all, it's not like I just had
- 3:44Speaker 4: lunch with an ex-girlfriend of yours. Like we took each other.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Like we went out, the two of us to lunch.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Well, you certainly made it sound like that for the
- 3:49Speaker 1: last 10 minutes.
- 3:50Speaker 4: I know, but that was like me teasing you. We
- 3:53Speaker 4: were both invited to a lunch in by a mutual friend,
- 3:57Speaker 4: Brad Goreski. So he was having a lunch in. He
- 4:00Speaker 4: invited me. He invited her. We were there together.
- 4:02Speaker 1: But it was small.
- 4:03Speaker 4: There was like 10 of us. It wasn't like a
- 4:05Speaker 4: big lunch or anything like that. And I love her
- 4:08Speaker 4: so much.
- 4:09Speaker 13: I did too.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Julianne Hough.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, of course we love her. She's great.
- 4:15Speaker 4: We love her.
- 4:15Speaker 1: We always have love for Julianne.
- 4:17Speaker 4: And I told her how much we all love her.
- 4:19Speaker 1: That's great. I love that.
- 4:21Speaker 13: I'm sure you do.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I'm sure she loved that. Did she act like she
- 4:23Speaker 1: had to go back to the buffet line at any point?
- 4:25Speaker 1: Did she say, excuse me for one minute, I need
- 4:27Speaker 1: some more iced tea?
- 4:28Speaker 4: No, she was like so sweet and she was sharing how.
- 4:31Speaker 1: But tell us what you said.
- 4:33Speaker 4: I may have said, is there maybe any way you
- 4:35Speaker 4: guys can make him- Oh.
- 4:36Speaker 1: My gosh, Tanya.
- 4:39Speaker 8: Inappropriate very i said look i don't know what your
- 4:42Speaker 8: situation is i don't know what his situation is but
- 4:45Speaker 8: i just love you guys together and i was trying
- 4:48Speaker 8: to be very like pc about.
- 4:49Speaker 1: It what's pc about that that's nail on the head
- 4:53Speaker 1: awkward and.
- 4:54Speaker 7: Literally and your eyeballs probably weren't blinking no social skills
- 4:58Speaker 7: at all I love.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Her so much.
- 5:01Speaker 12: What did she say?
- 5:02Speaker 4: She, like, laughed and she was like, I have so
- 5:04Speaker 4: much love for him. Like, she was, like, very, like,
- 5:05Speaker 4: sweet and, like, she obviously... You guys obviously have a
- 5:08Speaker 4: very good friendship.
- 5:09Speaker 1: We have very tight friendship.
- 5:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I mean, she's a professional at deflecting, Cicely, and that's
- 5:14Speaker 1: what she did.
- 5:14Speaker 9: 100%.
- 5:15Speaker 1: That's what I would do, too. I'm a pro at deflection.
- 5:17Speaker 4: When I was asking her dancing with the stars stuff, I, like, pivoted.
- 5:19Speaker 1: But I.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Yikes.
- 5:20Speaker 7: But I.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I love her so much. She has the best energy.
- 5:24Speaker 4: She's so kind. She's so lovely.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I know her.
- 5:27Speaker 5: I get it.
- 5:27Speaker 1: We know. We understand.
- 5:28Speaker 4: I just haven't seen her in a while. And so
- 5:31Speaker 4: it just brought up a lot of old feelings for me.
- 5:34Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Well, whatever you need to recover from your friendship with her,
- 5:42Speaker 1: we are here for you to support you.
- 5:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 5:44Speaker 1: And can you make a note in your phone? Do
- 5:46Speaker 1: not ask ex-girlfriends if you have lunch with them if
- 5:49Speaker 1: we can get back together.
- 5:50Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 5:51Speaker 1: There's a reason and they've moved on.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I know.
- 5:53Speaker 4: I'm just saying.
- 5:54Speaker 1: No, we know. You just said. That's the problem. You
- 5:59Speaker 1: just saying is the issue. How do I deal with this?
- 6:02Speaker 1: I can't even. That's wild.
- 6:03Speaker 4: And I was actually going to tell you over the weekend,
- 6:05Speaker 4: but I was like, you know what? I'm just going to.
- 6:06Speaker 1: Let me save it for 6.30. I'm going to refrain.
- 6:08Speaker 4: I'm going to give them their weekend's peace from without me.
- 6:14Speaker 1: This one I kind of wish you would have told
- 6:15Speaker 1: me earlier.
- 6:16Speaker 4: Oh, dang.
- 6:18Speaker 5: All right.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Well, Sisney, I know I can trust you not to
- 6:20Speaker 1: go out with anybody and have that conversation. Sure. Tickets
- 6:23Speaker 1: to our Kiss FM Jingle Ball sold out next. Seacrest here.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Coming up at 7 o'clock, we got your headlines. Then
- 6:28Speaker 1: after that, paying your bills. Then a second date update.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Jingle Ball tickets. Lots to move through this morning. Appreciate
- 6:34Speaker 1: you hanging out with us, listening on the radio or
- 6:37Speaker 1: streaming us. Yesterday we were talking about just exploring our
- 6:40Speaker 1: own backyard. It's nice to go to a different neighborhood
- 6:42Speaker 1: here in Southern California and check it out. I did
- 6:44Speaker 1: that Catalina with a bike ride. I mean, it's right there.
- 6:47Speaker 1: You know, you can express out there, take your bike,
- 6:49Speaker 1: and then you can ride around, have a little lunch,
- 6:52Speaker 1: go fishing. Look back at the mainland. I feel like
- 6:56Speaker 1: you're far away. You can look at that coastline. You
- 6:57Speaker 1: don't know where you are in the world. I love Catalina.
- 7:00Speaker 12: Beautiful.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And Ruby, you kind of did the same thing. You
- 7:03Speaker 1: explored a neighborhood here in Southern California outside your own, right?
- 7:06Speaker 1: Silver Lake?
- 7:06Speaker 11: Yeah, I wanted to be a tourist basically in L.A.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Because I feel like I don't know about you guys,
- 7:11Speaker 3: but I get stuck in my bubble sometimes.
- 7:13Speaker 11: Oh, yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 3: I'm in northeast L.A., so it's always Highland Park, Eagle
- 7:16Speaker 3: Rock area. And so I just decided to go to
- 7:20Speaker 3: Silver Lake, kind of dabble around there.
- 7:23Speaker 11: Then I went to K-Town.
- 7:26Speaker 3: And got some really good Korean food at this like
- 7:30Speaker 3: Korean food court at this mall there.
- 7:33Speaker 11: And it was just like a reminder to get out
- 7:35Speaker 11: and do more.
- 7:36Speaker 13: Right.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Just like get out of your comfort zone because I
- 7:39Speaker 3: like this idea. I'm always just in my bubble.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Me too.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I find myself. I get up. I go to work.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I take the same path. I finish and I go
- 7:48Speaker 1: back home and I finish. I wash, rinse, repeat. You know,
- 7:52Speaker 1: it's like. For example, Sony, where we tape some of
- 7:54Speaker 1: the Wheel of Fortunes, that's a beautiful, cool, fun neighborhood.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I don't think I've ever eaten there because they're stopped
- 8:00Speaker 1: there because I'm always rushing in, rushing out.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Right.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Or you always go like home to where the restaurants
- 8:04Speaker 4: that you know are.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Or just home.
- 8:06Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Well, you stopped by Mr. Bone's Pumpkin Patch the other day.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I did go to the Pumpkin Patch to see everybody.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Since now we're out there. Trying to avoid of us.
- 8:15Speaker 4: I actually, I was there and I walked up as
- 8:17Speaker 4: you were leaving. They literally were like, you missed it
- 8:20Speaker 4: by 20 seconds.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I was like, no way. Well, you were tardy to
- 8:23Speaker 1: the party.
- 8:24Speaker 13: I was.
- 8:24Speaker 4: I had like a lot of children in my car.
- 8:27Speaker 4: When I have children in my car, I drive very slow.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I was with children at the pumpkin patch. I was high-fiving,
- 8:32Speaker 1: taking pictures, squeezing babies. That pumpkin patch, it's like a festival.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It's got a DJ. It's got all kinds of things happening.
- 8:39Speaker 1: That was our DJ, by the way. Oh, what? I
- 8:41Speaker 1: thought they had a DJ. Who was that? That was
- 8:43Speaker 1: our guy? But what do they have there usually?
- 8:45Speaker 4: Because it was like all set up for something.
- 8:47Speaker 7: They have like performances and bands and things like that.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Who was the DJ? It wasn't XXXL. No, it was Santana. Santana!
- 8:54Speaker 7: Yeah, wasn't he good?
- 8:54Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Yeah, it was amazing. I'm like, this place is hot. Yeah. So, yeah.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Got to get out and explore Silver Lake. It's a
- 9:02Speaker 1: good place to go like stroll, you know? There's a
- 9:05Speaker 1: Cuban cafe there. Tropical Cafe. It's been there since 1970 something.
- 9:12Speaker 1: And they've got famous coffee and guava pastries. I don't
- 9:15Speaker 1: know if you've had a guava pastry. That is a
- 9:18Speaker 1: combo on a Sunday morning. So go explore. We got
- 9:21Speaker 1: to stop rushing so much. Cafe Tropical.
- 9:24Speaker 5: That's it.
- 9:24Speaker 1: All right.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Coming up next.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Remove these words from your vocabulary. They are irritating everybody
- 9:30Speaker 1: in your life. And a quote of the day. Do
- 9:33Speaker 1: you say these irritating phrases and words? Like, Mark, you
- 9:37Speaker 1: have one. You responded to me this morning. Okie dokie.
- 9:39Speaker 4: No, no.
- 9:40Speaker 5: Okie doke.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Oh, okie doke even works. Who says okie doke?
- 9:43Speaker 4: That's so much better than okay.
- 9:46Speaker 12: I don't.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I think okay or okie. It's fine. But okie doke?
- 9:51Speaker 13: What?
- 9:51Speaker 1: Okie doke.
- 9:52Speaker 11: You never say that to us, Mark.
- 9:54Speaker 1: He texted me back, okey-doke.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Yeah, Mark always says fine. And I'm like, why is
- 9:59Speaker 4: he mad at me?
- 10:00Speaker 1: Yeah, fine is like I'm irritated.
- 10:02Speaker 13: Sure.
- 10:03Speaker 12: Yes.
- 10:04Speaker 1: So here are the expressions that irritate humans the most.
- 10:06Speaker 1: At the end of the day is one. At this
- 10:09Speaker 1: moment in time is two. And with all due respect,
- 10:12Speaker 1: which means you're about to disrespect.
- 10:13Speaker 4: With all due respect is.
- 10:15Speaker 1: It's condescending. Yes, it really is. With all due respect,
- 10:18Speaker 1: you don't know what you're talking about.
- 10:20Speaker 7: You say that a lot.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I do say that a lot. I don't say it
- 10:23Speaker 1: nearly as much as that one next to you. No,
- 10:26Speaker 1: I don't say with all due respect. No, Tanya, not you.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I don't say with all.
- 10:31Speaker 4: I say respectfully.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Which is equally as condescending. Yeah, you're too lazy to
- 10:36Speaker 1: even say the whole sentence. Today's quote. And the quote
- 10:41Speaker 1: every day. I do see the world clearly through quotes.
- 10:44Speaker 13: Yes.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Mixed signals are just no wrapped in hope.
- 10:49Speaker 12: It's true.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Dang. Stop with the mixed signals. Guilty, guilty, guilty.
- 10:55Speaker 5: Mixed signals.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Mixed signal, dude.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Uh-oh.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Well, things are looking up. Almost another hour later on
- 11:03Speaker 1: a Tuesday morning, it's Kiss FM. All right, friends, about
- 11:06Speaker 1: to pay a bill after 7 o'clock. Then if you
- 11:08Speaker 1: date in this town, ha, 720. These guys met on Hinge.
- 11:13Speaker 1: She almost ran him over in a parking lot. So
- 11:17Speaker 1: she almost killed him, and then they had a great
- 11:18Speaker 1: first date. We'll get into that. 720 for Sisney, your headlines.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Kiss FM headlines with Sisney.
- 11:25Speaker 7: Well, a TSA program that allowed non-ticketed guests through security
- 11:29Speaker 7: has been withdrawn from several airports but.
- 11:32Speaker 11: Remains in place at LAX.
- 11:34Speaker 7: The LA City Controller is demanding financial records from LA28
- 11:38Speaker 7: to find out whether taxpayers could end up paying if
- 11:42Speaker 7: the 2028 Olympics go over budget. More than a million
- 11:46Speaker 7: pounds of hot dogs, bacon and other meat products from
- 11:50Speaker 7: KM Foods are being recalled because they may have been
- 11:54Speaker 7: stored at unsafe temperatures.
- 11:57Speaker 12: And L.A.
- 11:58Speaker 7: Metro will offer free rides on all buses and trains
- 12:01Speaker 7: during the general election to help voters get to the polls.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest here. Well, one of the Dancing with the
- 12:07Speaker 1: Stars dancers suspended. Tanya went out with an ex of
- 12:12Speaker 1: mine without telling me.
- 12:13Speaker 4: I didn't know she was going to be there, with
- 12:15Speaker 4: all due respect.
- 12:17Speaker 1: One of the hosts of Dancing with the Stars, and
- 12:20Speaker 1: it's not Alphanto. Then she comes in and tells us, oh,
- 12:24Speaker 1: I saw your ex and said you guys should get
- 12:26Speaker 1: back together. Cringe, Tanya. What in the world gives you the...
- 12:32Speaker 1: idea to say things like that without a little bit
- 12:35Speaker 1: of asking.
- 12:37Speaker 4: I made myself a totally Switzerland party in this because
- 12:42Speaker 4: I said, I don't know what's going on with him.
- 12:44Speaker 4: I don't know what's going on with you.
- 12:46Speaker 1: How's that Switzerland?
- 12:48Speaker 4: Because it's just me as like a fan of love.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 12:52Speaker 4: It was sweet. I think she enjoyed it.
- 12:55Speaker 1: That's what you think. Maybe she felt uncomfortable with the
- 12:57Speaker 1: people around her listening.
- 12:58Speaker 4: No, it was just the two of us.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Oh, even worse.
- 13:00Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 13:02Speaker 1: So now I bring all this Dancing with the Stars
- 13:04Speaker 1: up because there is a an Easter egg on Dancing
- 13:07Speaker 1: with the Stars. They have fans thing and that Taylor's
- 13:10Speaker 1: going back on tour. I don't know. It may be
- 13:12Speaker 1: too soon. What's going on?
- 13:14Speaker 7: OK, so Jan Ravnik from the heiress tour was one
- 13:17Speaker 7: of Taylor's backup dancers.
- 13:19Speaker 1: OK, and yes, currently a pro on Dancing with the Stars.
- 13:21Speaker 7: But fans notice that his name is missing from the
- 13:23Speaker 7: Dancing with the Stars live tour, which is going to
- 13:26Speaker 7: be kicking off in January and go until April. And
- 13:29Speaker 7: so when he was asked, like, you know, what's up? Like,
- 13:31Speaker 7: why are you not doing this? He says, it's not
- 13:32Speaker 7: in my stars. And then he says, I'm busy with stuff,
- 13:37Speaker 7: which is a weird response. And that was enough to
- 13:39Speaker 7: send the Swifties spiraling. And now they're all thinking that
- 13:42Speaker 7: it's because he's keeping his calendar open so that he
- 13:45Speaker 7: could go on tour with Taylor Swift.
- 13:48Speaker 1: It could be anything. It could be anything. You know,
- 13:50Speaker 1: the Swifties.
- 13:51Speaker 4: And to be fair, not all the pros do the tour. Like,
- 13:54Speaker 4: it's not like all of them always go on the tour.
- 13:56Speaker 1: But he specifically is busy.
- 13:58Speaker 7: He specifically was one of Taylor's backup dancers and Taylor
- 14:01Speaker 7: likes to reuse all the same ones.
- 14:04Speaker 1: If she can.
- 14:05Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 7: She's kept the same band. She's kept most of the
- 14:07Speaker 7: same backup dancers. She's like, loves the consistency of that.
- 14:11Speaker 7: So if there was a tour, I would imagine that
- 14:14Speaker 7: he is trying.
- 14:15Speaker 1: To keep his schedule open to go on. One of
- 14:17Speaker 1: my favorite nights on idol last season or recently was
- 14:20Speaker 1: when the Taylor Swift heiress tour dancers came on the
- 14:23Speaker 1: show and sat and watched the show.
- 14:25Speaker 12: Yes.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Wait, I went to that one. Was he there? Was
- 14:27Speaker 1: Jan there? I don't know if he was there. But
- 14:29Speaker 1: the backup dancers were awesome. Exactly. Yes. That was a really,
- 14:33Speaker 1: really fun night. How do you top? I mean, she
- 14:35Speaker 1: can do it, of course, but how do you top
- 14:37Speaker 1: what she did? Right, the heiress tour. She will.
- 14:39Speaker 11: She will.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I know. All right, let's pay a bill next to
- 14:41Speaker 1: the 909. Then it's a second date update. It's Kiss.
- 14:44Speaker 5: It's Kiss.
- 14:45Speaker 1: All right, let's go. See Chris, Disney, Tanya. Ronnie, good morning.
- 14:49Speaker 5: Good morning.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Ronnie, are you dating these days?
- 14:51Speaker 14: Well, you know, I'm going on a little bit of
- 14:53Speaker 14: dates here and there, but I just have found it's
- 14:55Speaker 14: so expensive, so I'm doing it sparingly.
- 14:58Speaker 1: It's expensive, and it's usually annoying. It's hard to find
- 15:04Speaker 1: that connect, isn't it? It's hard to find that compatibility,
- 15:07Speaker 1: especially with a stranger. Well, listen, that's why I bring
- 15:09Speaker 1: this up, Ronnie. Emma in Mid-City. She met this dude
- 15:11Speaker 1: on Hinge. She nearly ran over him in the Vons
- 15:14Speaker 1: parking lot. It was dark and she didn't see him
- 15:16Speaker 1: at all. That's what she said. What's the order of
- 15:18Speaker 1: events here? Let me grab Emma. Good morning, Emma Seacrest.
- 15:22Speaker 5: How are you?
- 15:23Speaker 6: Hi, how are you doing today?
- 15:26Speaker 1: I'm so curious. That's all I'm doing today. How did
- 15:29Speaker 1: you almost run over this guy in the Vons parking lot?
- 15:33Speaker 2: Oh my God. So I slammed on the brakes when
- 15:35Speaker 2: I saw him and he actually like braced himself, you know,
- 15:38Speaker 2: with his hands on the hood of my car. It
- 15:40Speaker 2: was that close.
- 15:43Speaker 12: Why?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Okay. Wait, did you meet him on hinge then run
- 15:46Speaker 1: over him or how did it happen?
- 15:49Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 15:51Speaker 2: We, we met first and then we went on a
- 15:54Speaker 2: date and that's when I almost, you know, killed him.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Well, what caused that?
- 16:00Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing. It was really dark and I
- 16:03Speaker 2: just didn't see him like at all.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Okay.
- 16:07Speaker 1: So he's fine. Is he okay?
- 16:10Speaker 9: Oh, yeah, he's fine.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Like, you know, we continued on the date. Like, we
- 16:13Speaker 2: got drinks and everything.
- 16:14Speaker 6: So it was all good.
- 16:15Speaker 2: And, you know, we kissed a little bit.
- 16:17Speaker 1: You should not have drinks if you almost ran him
- 16:19Speaker 1: over in a Vons parking lot and you're behind the wheel.
- 16:22Speaker 1: That's just me giving you a tip. Now, listen, after
- 16:24Speaker 1: all of that, you had a great date. Did you stay?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Anybody kiss at the end of the night? Did anybody
- 16:29Speaker 1: stay anywhere? What was the end like?
- 16:31Speaker 2: Well, we definitely did some kissing, but he never asked
- 16:35Speaker 2: me out again. So I actually just suggested that we
- 16:37Speaker 2: hang out, and he agreed to that. But then the
- 16:40Speaker 2: day we were meeting up, he canceled. So I tried
- 16:43Speaker 2: scheduling again, and then it was like the same thing.
- 16:46Speaker 2: The third time he canceled, and it just kept happening.
- 16:50Speaker 3: All right.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Well, let's get to the bottom of that.
- 16:52Speaker 5: I think he's agreed.
- 16:52Speaker 1: His name is Mike. He's agreed to come on the
- 16:54Speaker 1: air with us next here at Kiss FM. I mean,
- 16:57Speaker 1: she almost ran over the guy. I might bail on that, too.
- 16:59Speaker 7: Hang on.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Happy that you are here. Ryan Seacrest with you for
- 17:04Speaker 1: hours every weekday morning with Sisney and Tanya and Ronnie
- 17:06Speaker 1: and Ruby and Michaela. Here we are. All right, Emma,
- 17:10Speaker 1: I got to get to the bottom of this. I
- 17:12Speaker 1: know about dating in LA. It's not always so easy
- 17:16Speaker 1: to make that connection. When you do make that connection,
- 17:18Speaker 1: you don't want it to go away for no reason.
- 17:20Speaker 1: So you're hanging on here trying to find out why
- 17:23Speaker 1: Mike flaked on you after this date, right?
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought we had a nice time.
- 17:29Speaker 1: So be very quiet. I am going to have some
- 17:33Speaker 1: dialogue with Mike.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Are you ready?
- 17:34Speaker 2: I'm ready.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Hey, Mike, it's Ryan Seacrest. You're on the air with
- 17:39Speaker 1: us on Kiss FM right now in real time with
- 17:42Speaker 1: Sisney and Tanya. How are you doing, Mike?
- 17:45Speaker 6: I'm pretty good.
- 17:46Speaker 13: How are you guys?
- 17:47Speaker 1: We're great, brother. So can we just dive into Emma?
- 17:51Speaker 1: You went out with Emma, right?
- 17:53Speaker 13: Yeah, I sure did.
- 17:54Speaker 1: How'd you meet?
- 17:58Speaker 13: Well, she almost ran me over with her car and
- 18:01Speaker 13: one thing led to another and then we went out.
- 18:04Speaker 1: The way it always happens.
- 18:05Speaker 5: So romantic.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Were you scared when she almost.
- 18:09Speaker 5: Ran you over?
- 18:11Speaker 13: I mean, I feel like I've got some things left
- 18:13Speaker 13: to live for. So I was hoping that wouldn't be
- 18:16Speaker 13: how I died. So I was a little shook by it.
- 18:18Speaker 1: You know, I don't disagree with you. There are certain
- 18:20Speaker 1: things I don't do because I'm not going to die
- 18:22Speaker 1: that way. I intentionally don't do things because I'm not
- 18:26Speaker 1: dying like that. It's going to get me. It's not
- 18:29Speaker 1: going to get me by bungee jumping.
- 18:32Speaker 3: No.
- 18:32Speaker 5: It's not.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Or jumping out of a plane.
- 18:34Speaker 5: It's not.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I'm going to mitigate risk. Now, back to you. Mike,
- 18:41Speaker 1: do you like her? I mean, is she somebody you
- 18:43Speaker 1: want to date? I mean.
- 18:47Speaker 13: Look, she's really pretty.
- 18:48Speaker 6: She's super nice.
- 18:50Speaker 13: I'd say if you asked me like one word to
- 18:52Speaker 13: describe her, I would say it's driven. And, you know,
- 18:57Speaker 13: she's a woman who knows what she wants and she's
- 18:59Speaker 13: determined to do it.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Mark, who works at the railroad Amtrak. Non-stop. Non-stop.
- 19:08Speaker 13: I mean, I would say I'd hit by a car
- 19:10Speaker 13: and I would train apparently.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. Yeah, it seems like being out in the
- 19:15Speaker 1: open earth is not working out for you.
- 19:18Speaker 5: It's dangerous.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Mike, we have Emma on the line and she likes
- 19:23Speaker 1: you and wants to go out with you, but you're
- 19:26Speaker 1: flaking on her. Why?
- 19:27Speaker 5: She's here.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Tell her.
- 19:28Speaker 13: I mean, look, I think I know what's going on here.
- 19:32Speaker 13: If I'm being honest, I think she wants to hang
- 19:35Speaker 13: out with me because I work in a casting office there.
- 19:37Speaker 6: I said it.
- 19:38Speaker 1: A work in a what?
- 19:40Speaker 13: A casting office.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Casting office. Oh, Emma, are you an actor?
- 19:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean, that's not what this is all about. Like,
- 19:49Speaker 2: are you serious?
- 19:51Speaker 1: Why does your head go there? Yeah, why do you
- 19:53Speaker 1: go there?
- 19:56Speaker 13: I mean, look, she sent me her headshots, her reel,
- 19:59Speaker 13: the whole thing. And if you look at her, you
- 20:02Speaker 13: look at me, I'm just saying you probably have some questions.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Well, I can't see either of you. So give me
- 20:08Speaker 1: some detail, bro. She's out of my league.
- 20:12Speaker 13: OK, like I don't want to say this on the radio,
- 20:14Speaker 13: but yeah, she's what you're gorgeous. I'm me. I don't
- 20:20Speaker 13: know how to say it.
- 20:21Speaker 5: You know, you're a.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Non-threat, but that's good news in a relationship. So, Emma,
- 20:26Speaker 1: do you want to go out with him because of
- 20:27Speaker 1: him or is there some other agenda here? Just be frank.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Listen, I'm first of all, I'm actually really offended that
- 20:35Speaker 2: you would actually say that about me. Yeah, I thought
- 20:38Speaker 2: we had a really great time. And yes, I am
- 20:41Speaker 2: an actor. But just because you're a casting agent does
- 20:44Speaker 2: not mean I'm going out with you to like slip
- 20:46Speaker 2: you my headshot under the table. Like, that's honestly really
- 20:50Speaker 2: gross of you to say that.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Well, this is not going to work out. I'm going
- 20:52Speaker 1: to step in now. I want to thank you both
- 20:54Speaker 1: for your time. Mike, you need to think higher of yourself,
- 20:58Speaker 1: more self-confidence. And Emma, thank you for your honesty. I
- 21:01Speaker 1: appreciate you reaching out. And now we have total clarity.
- 21:04Speaker 1: That is the mission, right? There's no gray area. We
- 21:06Speaker 1: have clarity. Good luck to both of you.
- 21:09Speaker 13: All right. Good luck in your career, I guess.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Don't say I guess.
- 21:14Speaker 2: That's so disingenuous.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Just say good luck in your career. I don't believe her.
- 21:17Speaker 5: I don't believe him.
- 21:18Speaker 4: I don't believe her.
- 21:19Speaker 7: Why was she sending him his headshot, her reel, all.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Of this stuff? I think it's good that she's out
- 21:23Speaker 1: of this league. That's security in a relationship. We all
- 21:26Speaker 1: look for that.
- 21:29Speaker 4: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest with you. We're talking to Ryan Tedder, who's
- 21:35Speaker 1: going to be with OneRepublic at our Jingle Ball coming up.
- 21:37Speaker 1: producing the adela music and that one is hot it's
- 21:42Speaker 1: got real heat actually we were just thinking about this
- 21:44Speaker 1: story with adela something sort of cool happened she was
- 21:49Speaker 1: turned down for a gig that ended up being probably
- 21:52Speaker 1: the greatest thing that ever happened to her tiny did
- 21:55Speaker 1: a deep dive what's the real story behind her So it.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Was a Netflix show called Popstar Academy Cat's Eye. And
- 22:00Speaker 4: it followed a bunch of girls competing for a spot
- 22:03Speaker 4: in this new global girl group, which ended up becoming
- 22:05Speaker 4: Cat's Eye. Grammy nominated. But one of the girls on
- 22:08Speaker 4: the show was a singer and dancer from Slovakia named Adela.
- 22:12Speaker 4: She didn't make the cut.
- 22:13Speaker 13: Okay.
- 22:14Speaker 4: Now, usually these reality shows, if you don't make it,
- 22:17Speaker 4: you never hear from them again. But not Adela. So
- 22:19Speaker 4: she just put out her first album. It's called Prima.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:23Speaker 4: It debuted at number one on two Billboard charts. One
- 22:26Speaker 4: of the songs that we just played, Ain't in LA.
- 22:34Speaker 1: And Nicole Kidman. What's that about, Nicole Kidman, that she's
- 22:40Speaker 1: in everything I love?
- 22:41Speaker 4: No, the song is called Nicole Kidman, and it is
- 22:45Speaker 4: honestly so iconic.
- 22:46Speaker 1: It's everywhere.
- 22:47Speaker 4: She has a dance to it. Everybody's posting it. They
- 22:50Speaker 4: played it at the Victoria's Secret fashion show over the weekend,
- 22:52Speaker 4: and Nicole Kidman was sitting in the audience. It was
- 22:54Speaker 4: just iconic. It's about having confidence like Nicole Kidman.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Yes, and she's in everything great that I watch.
- 23:01Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 23:01Speaker 4: But basically, the story about Adela is she took rejection
- 23:04Speaker 4: and turned it into her own thing. She didn't need
- 23:06Speaker 4: the group. She basically took the rejection and turned it
- 23:09Speaker 4: into redirection. And so I was wondering if there's any
- 23:11Speaker 4: point in your life that you didn't get a job
- 23:15Speaker 4: or you didn't get the relationship or you didn't get
- 23:16Speaker 4: a spot on the team that ended up being better
- 23:18Speaker 4: for you.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Yes, for sure.
- 23:19Speaker 1: It happened to me. I'll tell you in a second.
- 23:20Speaker 1: But I'm also just thinking back to.
- 23:23Speaker 1: American Idol, those contestants that don't win still go on
- 23:26Speaker 1: to do good things. Think about Jennifer Hudson who finished
- 23:28Speaker 1: seventh on American Idol. Chris Daughtry finished fourth.
- 23:31Speaker 11: Adam Lambert.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Adam Lambert didn't win. And Cat McPhee, they go on.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I remember for me, I was a teenager and I
- 23:40Speaker 1: was lucky enough to host a show for like a
- 23:43Speaker 1: kid's game show on ESPN on 19 or something. And
- 23:48Speaker 1: they wanted to do this deal that was so unfair
- 23:50Speaker 1: for the next season. And I said no to it.
- 23:54Speaker 1: And the person on the other end said, you'll never
- 23:56Speaker 1: work again in TV if you don't take this deal.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. And I got fire in my belly
- 24:01Speaker 1: from that. Really upset me. I was crying as a kid,
- 24:04Speaker 1: you know?
- 24:04Speaker 5: Yeah, of course.
- 24:05Speaker 1: And I thought, how can people be that mean?
- 24:07Speaker 5: Terrifying.
- 24:08Speaker 1: And then it just aggravated, irritated me enough to drive me,
- 24:11Speaker 1: I think. So it happens.
- 24:13Speaker 5: But good honor.
- 24:13Speaker 1: And I love the music.
- 24:14Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Coming up next, we're paying a bill. Seacrest here. All right,
- 24:18Speaker 1: so it is Halloween-y season. Are you going to some
- 24:21Speaker 1: of these haunted houses? The escape room experience is cool.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I went to one a long time ago called Sleep
- 24:29Speaker 1: No More, and it was fun. Not terrifying, but interesting, right?
- 24:35Speaker 1: I mean, theatrical in a way. Rodney, which one did
- 24:38Speaker 1: you go to that terrified you?
- 24:39Speaker 5: So this one is called Zoe Reborn in Fullerton.
- 24:42Speaker 14: And you guys, when I tell you, this is the
- 24:44Speaker 14: scariest thing I've ever done in my life. Like I
- 24:46Speaker 14: was terrified and this escape room is a hundred minutes long,
- 24:50Speaker 14: just to prep.
- 24:51Speaker 1: That's too long. Nothing should be a hundred minutes. Totally nuts.
- 24:55Speaker 1: At what point did you want to escape the escape?
- 24:57Speaker 5: Well, I had to tap out like this.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Can you tap out?
- 24:59Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 25:00Speaker 14: So you could tap out. And basically if you have
- 25:02Speaker 14: to tap out, there's cameras all around. It's pitch black,
- 25:05Speaker 14: so you really can't see them, but you have to
- 25:06Speaker 14: hold up an X, and then they will come and
- 25:09Speaker 14: get you.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, it's that terrifying? They touch you. They've
- 25:11Speaker 1: got a signal? They dragged him across the room. Dragged him. No,
- 25:14Speaker 1: thank you. They tased him.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Why did you want to do this?
- 25:16Speaker 4: Right, like why?
- 25:17Speaker 5: Tased you?
- 25:18Speaker 10: Yes.
- 25:19Speaker 14: I like to experience, like, I love being scared, but
- 25:22Speaker 14: I think it's a thrill to me. But obviously you
- 25:25Speaker 14: know what the escape room is. you have to solve things.
- 25:27Speaker 14: So this, you could not move to the next room
- 25:29Speaker 14: unless you got the thing. But then the actors are
- 25:32Speaker 14: coming in, dragging you, tasing you, doing all this stuff.
- 25:35Speaker 5: So I'm like, I can't even focus.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I don't understand how you can pay for a ticket
- 25:40Speaker 1: and then get tased at a thing, public thing. So
- 25:43Speaker 1: the escape rooms, I was reading that the hex room
- 25:45Speaker 1: in Anaheim is good. The courtyard, the basement, Sylmar. The
- 25:50Speaker 1: thing about being terrified for me, Personally, it's not when
- 25:55Speaker 1: someone jumps out at me because I know that's coming
- 25:58Speaker 1: for me. It's when they put you in a claustrophobic
- 26:01Speaker 1: setting when it's really claustrophobia freaks me out a little bit.
- 26:06Speaker 14: Like that's terrifying. That's dreadful to me. And so at
- 26:10Speaker 14: this escape room, they put my friend in a dog cage.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Ronnie, we need to send in the authorities.
- 26:16Speaker 4: I mean.
- 26:17Speaker 1: A taser and a dog cage. This tells me a
- 26:19Speaker 1: lot about you.
- 26:20Speaker 5: No, honestly.
- 26:21Speaker 14: And looking back, I want to do it again, but
- 26:23Speaker 14: I need more people to come. So I want all
- 26:25Speaker 14: of you guys to come and do it with me.
- 26:27Speaker 1: No chance. After that testimonial?
- 26:30Speaker 14: No.
- 26:30Speaker 13: No.
- 26:31Speaker 5: It was fun. It is really scary.
- 26:33Speaker 3: You didn't even make it through the whole thing.
- 26:35Speaker 14: Yeah. No, I know I couldn't make it through the
- 26:37Speaker 14: whole thing because it was, you guys weren't there. I
- 26:38Speaker 14: needed more protection from other people. I'll go with you, Ronnie.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 26:43Speaker 5: There you go.
- 26:43Speaker 1: One of the demons recorded a message, Ronnie?
- 26:46Speaker 5: Yeah, for you.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Well, who's the demon?
- 26:49Speaker 5: Well, the demon's name is Zoe, actually.
- 26:51Speaker 14: So it's her house that you basically, she is possessed
- 26:54Speaker 14: and you're trying to escape the house.
- 26:57Speaker 1: And this is, okay. Zoe at her house, the demon.
- 27:00Speaker 10: We're waiting, Ryan.
- 27:01Speaker 1: See you soon. That is the taser. No. That is
- 27:09Speaker 1: not getting me to come see your place.
- 27:11Speaker 10: No.
- 27:11Speaker 1: To be physically tased and electrocuted.
- 27:14Speaker 8: No.
- 27:14Speaker 1: You have to sign a waiver. I'm not signing a waiver.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I'm officially not going. I'll take you to the pumpkin patch, Ronnie,
- 27:21Speaker 1: like I did the other night.
- 27:23Speaker 4: Get your face painted.
- 27:24Speaker 14: And you know also the best thing is it's all
- 27:26Speaker 14: year round, so we can go for Christmas.
- 27:27Speaker 1: If you want. I think you and our intern can
- 27:31Speaker 1: do this.
- 27:31Speaker 10: Uh-huh.
- 27:33Speaker 1: We've got a new game for Jingle Ball Tickets next.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Here we go. We're playing for Jingle Ball Tickets. It's
- 27:37Speaker 1: sold out. Good morning, Lindsay in Huntington Beach.
- 27:38Speaker 5: How are you?
- 27:39Speaker 6: I'm great. Good morning, guys.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Good morning. So we're going to play Horror Movie or
- 27:45Speaker 1: Taylor Swift Tickets.
- 27:47Speaker 12: Horror Movie or Taylor Swift Tickets.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Let me explain. Olivia Rodrigo, Hilary Duff, Ray, OneRepublic, Santa Spira,
- 27:57Speaker 1: everybody's going. I'm going to play you a scream. Each
- 28:02Speaker 1: time I'll play you a scream, you tell me if
- 28:03Speaker 1: it's someone in a horror movie screaming or someone being
- 28:07Speaker 1: surprised because they won Taylor Swift tickets.
- 28:10Speaker 9: Okay.
- 28:11Speaker 5: That's it.
- 28:11Speaker 1: You got to get three right before you get three wrong.
- 28:13Speaker 1: And this is for sold out jingle ball tickets.
- 28:16Speaker 5: Yeah, to be clear. Here we go.
- 28:17Speaker 6: Okay.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Here's the first one.
- 28:19Speaker 12: All right.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Haunted house or a winner of Taylor Swift tickets?
- 28:26Speaker 6: I'm going to go Taylor Swift.
- 28:28Speaker 1: You are correct. Well done.
- 28:29Speaker 13: I agree.
- 28:30Speaker 1: That was easy. Yeah, okay. Okay, here's number two. Horror
- 28:32Speaker 1: movie or Taylor Swift? Is that a winner of Taylor
- 28:38Speaker 1: Swift tickets or something from a horror movie?
- 28:40Speaker 6: Horror movie.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it's from X. All right. One more for the win.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Taylor Swift winner or horror movie?
- 28:47Speaker 6: Taylor Swift.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Remarkably, yes. That is Taylor Swift. That's somebody who won
- 28:58Speaker 1: tickets to Taylor Swift. How did you know that? I
- 29:00Speaker 1: thought that was a horror movie.
- 29:02Speaker 6: I was on the fence, but, you know, I have
- 29:04Speaker 6: two girls.
- 29:05Speaker 1: And that says it all. Congratulations, Lindsay. You are going
- 29:09Speaker 1: to Jingle Ball. Sold out.
- 29:12Speaker 6: Okay, okay. I have a question for you guys.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Can you get a third for your two girls?
- 29:16Speaker 6: Because they're fighting right now. How am I a.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Mind reader of moms? How is it possible I can
- 29:22Speaker 1: read the mind of moms? What are their names?
- 29:28Speaker 6: Uh, they're Maddie and Katie. And one is one is
- 29:33Speaker 6: 12 and one is 15.
- 29:34Speaker 1: No.
- 29:35Speaker 7: So you, they can't go by themselves.
- 29:38Speaker 6: No, that's what I was thinking. I'm like, can I
- 29:40Speaker 6: just send them? But I'm, I'm too scared.
- 29:42Speaker 1: No, no, I wouldn't. I wouldn't have it. I would
- 29:45Speaker 1: not have it. You have to bring all of them.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Both of them, the three of you need to go,
- 29:50Speaker 1: but it's sold out.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:52Speaker 6: So what do I do? I can't send them by themselves.
- 29:55Speaker 1: I can't. No, it wouldn't be right. And you can't
- 29:57Speaker 1: just go with one. No, that would be unfair. Yeah,
- 29:59Speaker 1: it'd be so unfair.
- 30:00Speaker 4: Maybe flip a coin?
- 30:01Speaker 1: I found a connection. Maddie teaches my yoga and Katie
- 30:05Speaker 1: produces American Idol.
- 30:06Speaker 5: I know Maddie.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I know Maddie and Katie.
- 30:08Speaker 5: That's great. They're great names.
- 30:09Speaker 1: They're great people. You should go. Three tickets.
- 30:10Speaker 8: Done.
- 30:11Speaker 12: Yay!
- 30:12Speaker 6: Oh, thank you. Thank you so much. Maddie and Katie.
- 30:16Speaker 1: They're good names.
- 30:16Speaker 5: They're great names.
- 30:17Speaker 1: They're going to be good people. Congratulations.
- 30:19Speaker 5: We're going to get you three tickets. You're going.
- 30:21Speaker 6: You guys are the best. Oh, thank you so much.
- 30:22Speaker 6: I hope I see you guys there.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Well, we will be there, and you can send their
- 30:25Speaker 1: screams to us anytime when you tell them, okay?
- 30:28Speaker 6: Oh, thank you. So I will. I absolutely will.
- 30:30Speaker 5: All right, Lindsay.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Huntington Beach, Sisney. What's new this morning next? On Air
- 30:36Speaker 1: with Ryan Seacrest. Amanda and Wes Covina, good morning. Hi, guys.
- 30:41Speaker 6: What's up?
- 30:42Speaker 1: Well, you tell us, because this is very interesting. You
- 30:45Speaker 1: got set up to go out with a guy. You're
- 30:47Speaker 1: not feeling it, and you want to recommend him to
- 30:49Speaker 1: a friend?
- 30:51Speaker 9: Yeah, that's about it. I went on two dates with
- 30:56Speaker 9: this guy. I met him on Hinge. And while he's
- 30:59Speaker 9: really nice, I'm just not really feeling a romantic connection
- 31:03Speaker 9: with him. But it got me thinking about my friend.
- 31:06Speaker 9: And he's super into fitness, but that's not my vibe.
- 31:11Speaker 9: But my friend is just as obsessed with fitness as
- 31:14Speaker 9: he is. And I honestly think that they would be
- 31:16Speaker 9: perfect together together. So I was thinking about telling him
- 31:19Speaker 9: that I'm not interested in another date, but asking if
- 31:22Speaker 9: he'd be open to meeting my friend instead. And my
- 31:28Speaker 9: friend thinks it's a great idea, but another friend told
- 31:30Speaker 9: me that it's kind of insulting. And she said it like,
- 31:34Speaker 9: might feel like I'm basically saying like, I don't want you,
- 31:36Speaker 9: but maybe my friend will.
- 31:38Speaker 2: So I don't know.
- 31:38Speaker 13: I don't want to hurt his feelings, but.
- 31:41Speaker 9: Also I feel like I'm sitting on potentially a great
- 31:44Speaker 9: match here, but I don't know. Would it be mean
- 31:47Speaker 9: to set him up with my friend?
- 31:49Speaker 5: Not at all.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Would not be mean. It's you don't say what you
- 31:53Speaker 1: just said to us about how you're going to do it,
- 31:55Speaker 1: but it would not be mean. I think to be upfront,
- 31:58Speaker 1: you got to be honest that you're not feeling it now.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Don't waste anybody's time. And then say, I think, and
- 32:03Speaker 1: I know for a fact, because I'm such a good
- 32:04Speaker 1: friend of this person, you guys will hit it off.
- 32:08Speaker 1: I think it's okay. Disney, Tanya? Have you guys made out?
- 32:13Speaker 9: No, we did a good night kiss, but there's been
- 32:16Speaker 9: nothing steamy or anything.
- 32:19Speaker 12: It's fine.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Okay. I mean, I'm kind of okay with that.
- 32:22Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 32:22Speaker 7: I feel like if you guys have had like a
- 32:24Speaker 7: moment where you were making out and it was hot.
- 32:27Speaker 1: It's fine too. No, I don't think that's fine. I
- 32:30Speaker 1: think it's fine.
- 32:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:31Speaker 9: There was a kiss, no fireworks.
- 32:32Speaker 6: Like it was odd.
- 32:34Speaker 1: But Amanda, I would just go right in on this.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Be very confident in the way that you deliver it.
- 32:39Speaker 1: Like here's how great, yes, here's how great you are.
- 32:42Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, It's just like for us,
- 32:44Speaker 1: it's not a total compatibility thing, but you're amazing. And
- 32:47Speaker 1: I have this amazing friend. I, you guys would, and
- 32:49Speaker 1: this is a great story when they end up getting married.
- 32:51Speaker 1: What a great story to tell.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 32:52Speaker 4: If this happened to you and you were, and you
- 32:54Speaker 4: spent a lot of time taking somebody out on a date.
- 32:57Speaker 1: I didn't spend a lot of time. How many times? Twice?
- 32:59Speaker 9: Yes.
- 32:59Speaker 4: But you spent, you put thought into it. You went
- 33:01Speaker 4: on a first date, you were looking forward to it
- 33:02Speaker 4: and then come to the third date. The girl comes
- 33:05Speaker 4: to you and says, I think you're great. Why don't
- 33:08Speaker 4: you try dating my friend?
- 33:09Speaker 1: I'm okay with it.
- 33:10Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Ryan would probably be stuck. I'm glad you lined somebody
- 33:14Speaker 1: else up for me. By the way, to get an
- 33:16Speaker 1: endorsement from a friend is even better than doing it
- 33:18Speaker 1: on your own. It's kind of true. I would hate that. Well,
- 33:21Speaker 1: you're not dating. Amanda, thank you and good luck. Go
- 33:24Speaker 1: for it.
- 33:25Speaker 13: Thanks, guys.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Good luck. Yeah, a friend endorsement is strong. Very strong.
- 33:33Speaker 1: About to go nonstop kiss here in a few minutes. First,
- 33:36Speaker 1: going to run through some talkbacks we got inside the
- 33:38Speaker 1: iHeartRadio app. This is where you hit that red mic.
- 33:39Speaker 1: And just leave us a voice note. Tanya asked, chat GPT,
- 33:43Speaker 1: who the female version of me would be. And what
- 33:45Speaker 1: do we get? We got Kelly Ripa, Jennifer Hudson, and
- 33:47Speaker 1: Hoda Qadbi. So Cindy... In Huntington Beach, she ran the
- 33:51Speaker 1: same search with chat.
- 33:53Speaker 10: I did the chat GBT, who would be the male
- 33:55Speaker 10: version of me. And it came up Ryan Seacrest, Matthew McConaughey,
- 33:58Speaker 10: Gary Sinise, in that order. I'm single, the only person
- 34:01Speaker 10: on that list that I know is single is Ryan Seacrest. So,
- 34:05Speaker 10: I mean, you never know.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Well, I find it fascinating that I'm in the mix
- 34:10Speaker 1: with those dudes. I wonder, what did you tell your
- 34:13Speaker 1: chat GPT I need to know about you?
- 34:16Speaker 5: Fascinating, though.
- 34:18Speaker 1: I'm watching that Matthew McConaughey series with Woody Harrelson. Very
- 34:20Speaker 1: funny brothers. Shout out to Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey.
- 34:24Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure you're listening.
- 34:26Speaker 13: All right.
- 34:27Speaker 1: We had a quote the other day that left Tanya baffled.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Beth in Montana does agree.
- 34:31Speaker 12: I went Tanya on that quote of the day, the
- 34:34Speaker 12: curse of no routine or schedule quote.
- 34:39Speaker 10: I'm with Tanya.
- 34:40Speaker 11: I don't get it.
- 34:41Speaker 9: Here.
- 34:42Speaker 1: The quote was the curse of discipline is that every
- 34:45Speaker 1: day looks the same. The curse of no discipline is
- 34:48Speaker 1: that every year looks the same. I think that hit.
- 34:50Speaker 1: My buddy Reagan texted me, hit.
- 34:52Speaker 5: Yeah, no change.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I don't get it still. This is not meant for
- 34:57Speaker 1: you then. One more. We're talking about this trend online
- 35:01Speaker 1: that associates you with a season. For example, Tanya, explain this.
- 35:06Speaker 4: You ask your significant other, what season am I? What
- 35:09Speaker 4: food am I? What color am I? If I were
- 35:11Speaker 4: a flower, what flower would I be? Et cetera, et cetera.
- 35:13Speaker 4: So we did it with you.
- 35:15Speaker 1: All right. And what food am I? I don't remember. Oh,
- 35:18Speaker 1: I was beige, right?
- 35:19Speaker 5: You said I was beige.
- 35:19Speaker 4: I said you were beige.
- 35:21Speaker 1: And you didn't really like that. Well, beige is vanilla.
- 35:24Speaker 13: I'm okay.
- 35:24Speaker 1: You know what?
- 35:25Speaker 3: I am beige.
- 35:26Speaker 11: I feel like beige is chic.
- 35:27Speaker 4: Well, you didn't like it in the moment.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Well, I think twice on it now. And I'm very
- 35:31Speaker 1: happy to be mediocre.
- 35:32Speaker 12: Beige.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Not this way, not that way. Right in the middle.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Here's Maria in Ohio.
- 35:37Speaker 12: Ryan was asking in one of the videos what color
- 35:40Speaker 12: was he. And to me, he looks the pink fuchsia.
- 35:44Speaker 12: With bright blue around it and white bright around it.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Wow.
- 35:49Speaker 1: I'm down with that.
- 35:50Speaker 13: Yes.
- 35:50Speaker 1: I mean, that seems like sort of extreme and electric.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I got to go back to your beige. I think
- 35:58Speaker 1: to be right up the middle, like vanilla ice cream
- 36:01Speaker 1: goes with everything. I want to go with everything.
- 36:04Speaker 7: You see, that's what I was going with.
- 36:06Speaker 11: You were very like insulted that.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I said beige. You know what? I misread it. I'm
- 36:10Speaker 1: very complimentary and grateful now. You just need to sleep
- 36:12Speaker 1: on it. I just didn't. I need to sleep four
- 36:14Speaker 1: hours on it. I'm going to wrap it up for us, guys. Tomorrow,
- 36:17Speaker 1: we're back. We are paying your bills again in the morning. Now,
- 36:20Speaker 1: there's also a condiment that will help you avoid getting
- 36:23Speaker 1: sick during cold and flu season. I'll tell you what
- 36:24Speaker 1: that is in the morning early. And every hour, tickets
- 36:28Speaker 1: to our sold-out Jingle Ball presented by Capital One. Right here,
- 36:31Speaker 1: 102.7 Kiss of M. Sisney takes you for another hour
- 36:34Speaker 1: of hits. Thanks for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Make sure to subscribe, and we'll talk to you again tomorrow.
