Melissa in the Morning: MS Misdiagnosis
Actress Christina Applegate says she was misdiagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Applegate revealed the news on her podcast, more than five years after going public with the diagnosis. She says her debilitating symptoms continue to worsen, and her medical team is now working to find out what’s really causing them. We wanted to understand how this could happen. We spoke with Multiple Sclerosis Specialist, Dr. Mary Bailey, from Hartford HealthCare St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
