  Building a life that Lasts A lot of people want a life that looks
• 0:15
  impressive, but deep down what we really need is a life that
• 0:18
  lasts. A life that does not collapse
• 0:21
  when pressure comes. A life that is not held together
• 0:24
  by popularity, appearance, money, or approval.
• 0:28
  A life built on wisdom, integrity, and compassion.
• 0:32
  That kind of life does not always get instant attention,
• 0:35
  but it carries eternal value. Proverbs chapter 12, verses 7 to
• 0:40
  8 says The House of the wicked will be overthrown, but the tent
• 0:44
  of the upright will flourish. A man is commended according to
• 0:48
  his prudence. That tells us that what is built
• 0:51
  on crooked foundations will not stand forever, but the life of
• 0:56
  the upright, even if it seems small in the eyes of the world,
• 0:59
  is established by something stronger.

  Then Job chapter 28 asks where shall wisdom be found and shows
• 1:07
  us that God alone fully understands it.
• 1:10
  He set limits to the waters, made channels for the rain, and
• 1:13
  ordered creation with perfect understanding.
• 1:16
  Wisdom is not just intelligence, it is seeing life through God's
• 1:19
  truth. And Job chapter 29, verses 12 to
• 1:24
  13 gives us a picture of what that wisdom looks like in
• 1:27
  action. Helping the poor, defending the
• 1:29
  fatherless, and bringing joy to the hurting.
• 1:33
  That is the kind of life that leaves a mark.
• 1:35
  Not just achieving things, but blessing people.
• 1:38
  Not just getting ahead, but lifting others.
• 1:40
  Not just knowing facts, but living faithfully in a world
• 1:44
  that pushes convenience. God calls us to character in a
• 1:48
  culture that prizes image, God values integrity.
• 1:52
  In moments where you are tempted to take shortcuts, ignore people
• 1:56
  in need, or focus only on yourself, remember that true
• 1:59
  success is not measured by applause.

  It is measured by faithfulness. A life that lasts is built one
• 2:06
  decision at a time. Every honest choice, every act
• 2:10
  of compassion, every prayer for wisdom, every step of obedience
• 2:14
  matters. God sees it all, and He uses it
• 2:18
  to build something beautiful in you.

  You do not have to know everything about the future to
• 2:22
  live well today. You only need to keep seeking
• 2:25
  the God who holds wisdom in His hands.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for

  showing me what truly matters, building me a life rooted in
• 2:35
  wisdom, integrity, and compassion.

  Help me to choose what is right over what is easy and to care
• 2:40
  for people the way you do. Guide my steps so that my life
• 2:44
  will honor you and leave a lasting blessing on others in
• 2:48
  Jesus name, Amen. What if the most important

  Neither will it be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.

  No mention will be made of coral or of crystal.

  Yes, the price of wisdom is above rubies.

  The Topaz of Ethiopia will not equal it.

  It won't be valued with pure gold.

  Where then does wisdom come from?

  Where is the place of understanding Seeing it is

  hidden from the eyes of all living and kept close from the

  birds of the sky. Destruction and death say we

  have heard a rumor of it with our ears.

  God understands its way and He knows its place, For He looks to

  the ends of the earth and sees under the whole sky.

  He establishes the force of the wind, yes, He measures out the

  waters by measure. When he made a decree for the
• 6:31
  rain, and away for the lightning of the Thunder, then he saw it
• 6:34
  and declared it. He established it, yes, and

  searched it out to man. He said, Behold, the fear of the
• 6:40
  Lord. That is wisdom.

  To depart from evil is understanding.

  Job again took up his parable, and said, Oh, that I were as in

  the months of old as in the days when God watched over me, when

  his lamp shone on my head, and by His light I walked through

  darkness As I was in my prime. When the friendship of God was

  waters. The dew lies all night on my

  branch. My glory is fresh in me.

  My bow is renewed in my hand. Men listened to me, waited and

  kept silence for my counsel. After my words, they didn't

  speak again. My speech fell on them.

  They waited for me. As for the rain, their mouths

  drank. As with the spring rain, I
• 8:19
  smiled on them when they had no confidence.

  They didn't reject the light of my face.

  I chose out their way and sat as chief.

  I lived as a king in the army, as one who comforts the
• 8:29
