Bassitt Near Return as Orioles Pitching Boost | Baltimore Orioles News
Chris Bassitt is on the verge of returning to the Orioles’ starting rotation after a back injury, throwing four innings in his latest rehab outing and showing strong progress. With the team having traded away Dean Kremer, Bassitt’s return couldn’t come at a more critical time — and despite modest stats this year, his track record suggests he’ll shine down the stretch. The Orioles plan for him to rejoin the rotation soon, possibly after one more rehab start, as they look to bolster their pitching just before the trade deadline.
