- 0:44Speaker 1: I don't know what is going on. I mean, I
- 0:45Speaker 1: know it's gonna be hot, but yesterday was so hot.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Matter of fact, it was so hot yesterday that at
- 0:49Speaker 1: one point I look across the street at my house
- 0:51Speaker 1: and I see my neighbor shout out to my neighbor
- 0:53Speaker 1: ron watering the street. Oh, And I was like, why
- 0:57Speaker 1: is he hosing the street down?
- 1:00Speaker 6: Like he talks about people in their houses down before
- 1:03Speaker 6: right the street.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Which I do and people think I'm stupid for doing. Anyway,
- 1:06Speaker 1: I see him hose in the street down I'm like,
- 1:08Speaker 1: what is going on? Yeah, and I happened to DoorDash something.
- 1:10Speaker 1: So I open the door and then I look and
- 1:11Speaker 1: there's a duck. What in the street.
- 1:15Speaker 5: He's like yeah.
- 1:16Speaker 1: He's like, I'm watering my lawn, this patch of lawn,
- 1:19Speaker 1: and the duck just came up to me and wanted
- 1:21Speaker 1: some water.
- 1:22Speaker 6: Oh, poor guy.
- 1:24Speaker 5: So he was like water in the duck.
- 1:26Speaker 1: And the duck's playing in the water in the street
- 1:28Speaker 1: and like, oh, cute drink in the water.
- 1:30Speaker 5: It looked like a damn Disney movie.
- 1:33Speaker 1: White. I'm like, he just came.
- 1:36Speaker 5: It was so hot the ducks Like, dude, can I
- 1:37Speaker 5: get some of that?
- 1:38Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:38Speaker 6: Help me out here, bro.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Like, while you're at it, give me a beer. Yeah,
- 1:43Speaker 1: a cold one for.
- 1:44Speaker 6: Your not swimming in people's pools.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Yeah they are. They are, Yeah, not mine. I kind
- 1:50Speaker 1: of want him to. Oh, I'm kind of jealous.
- 1:52Speaker 6: That I take it up, take it up and put
- 1:54Speaker 6: it in your pool.
- 1:55Speaker 5: I don't know, I'm not going to try to do that.
- 1:57Speaker 6: Is that bad?
- 1:58Speaker 5: Do ducks have teeth?
- 1:59Speaker 7: Oh?
- 2:00Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 2:01Speaker 5: I just don't want to get bit by a duck.
- 2:02Speaker 6: Yeah. Do they have teeth or they're just beaks like
- 2:05Speaker 6: really shops, I can google it.
- 2:09Speaker 5: The last thing I need to be all.
- 2:10Speaker 1: They don't have teeth, duck, they don't know.
- 2:13Speaker 6: But they have comb like structures on the end of
- 2:15Speaker 6: their bills which basically look like teeth.
- 2:18Speaker 1: There's like some heavy gums. Okay, well, either way, it
- 2:23Speaker 1: feels like it's going to be extra hot today. We
- 2:25Speaker 1: wonder Heat Advisor anyway, Cannie Lipez, how are you?
- 2:27Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm good. I have to tell you guys this
- 2:29Speaker 6: weekend if you have time and you're on the couch
- 2:31Speaker 6: and you're looking for Netflix recommendation, and this comedy special
- 2:35Speaker 6: came out in January, but I just learned about it
- 2:37Speaker 6: last weekend and I almost finished it last night. It's
- 2:40Speaker 6: not even that long. Marcelo Hernandez American Boy. Every time
- 2:45Speaker 6: I get a chance by myself to turn on the TV,
- 2:47Speaker 6: which is very rare, and I'll ask people for Netflix recommendations.
- 2:50Speaker 6: Half the time I don't even watch them. But trust
- 2:53Speaker 6: me on this, this was like the funniest comedy show
- 2:56Speaker 6: I think I've ever seen in my entire Groml Yes,
- 2:59Speaker 6: he's from SNL. He was here in town a couple
- 3:01Speaker 6: of years ago hosting the MLB All Star Game when
- 3:03Speaker 6: we had it at god Life. Yeah, one of my
- 3:06Speaker 6: favorite comedians, But I had no idea he was this
- 3:08Speaker 6: funny and his stand up Oh man, I mean, I've
- 3:12Speaker 6: never watched the show where I'm just laughing and laughing
- 3:14Speaker 6: over NonStop. Okay, what's his name again, Marcelo Hernandez. It's
- 3:18Speaker 6: on Netflix on Netflix called American Boy. The Latino jokes
- 3:21Speaker 6: are just so good. Only half. I got hit with
- 3:25Speaker 6: the chunkla and all the things back in the day.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I just don't picture your sweet little mom
- 3:31Speaker 1: chucking at chankla.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Yeah, well she's serious. You know, she's the Latina in
- 3:36Speaker 6: the family. That's where the half comes from for me.
- 3:38Speaker 6: So oh yeah, she she'd turned around with that chankla,
- 3:41Speaker 6: and most of the time it was just a threat,
- 3:44Speaker 6: like you know this is coming if you're not okay,
- 3:47Speaker 6: And then I'd be like, okay, I'm in a seatbelt,
- 3:48Speaker 6: seatbelts on, I'm good.
- 3:49Speaker 1: What's the craziest thing you got hit with as a kid?
- 3:52Speaker 1: Eight three three seven eight seven two nine? Was it
- 3:55Speaker 1: a remote? Was it a chancola? That's not even crazy?
- 3:58Speaker 4: Chocolate?
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, we should have we should have a chocolate throwing contest. Fun.
- 4:03Speaker 1: You had a target and if you hit the you
- 4:04Speaker 1: know what I mean, Let's see which mom out there
- 4:07Speaker 1: has the best aim. Yeah, now that would be fun
- 4:11Speaker 1: the summer. I mean, some people get hit with the
- 4:15Speaker 1: remote from across the room. I have you have remote? Yeah? Okay,
- 4:19Speaker 1: shout out and Terry.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Getting hit with a doctor pepper once?
- 4:24Speaker 4: Oh yeah.
- 4:27Speaker 6: Yeah, wow for sure, especially if you put it in
- 4:30Speaker 6: the freezer for a minute a.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Full DP, it's like a frozen one. It's pretty much
- 4:35Speaker 1: a cinder block. Wow, good for you. All right, Producer
- 4:39Speaker 1: Phoo is here.
- 4:39Speaker 5: What's up?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Poop?
- 4:40Speaker 3: Hey, I'm warning y'all right now, I didn't eat last
- 4:42Speaker 3: night and I'm probably gonna adoordas some tacos I went. Yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 3: I set out last night to take my boys out
- 4:49Speaker 3: to eat because you know, their first day of school
- 4:51Speaker 3: and Wiley was yesterday.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Well the back over here on the left side, I.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Had a crown pop off. I had to go to
- 4:57Speaker 3: emergency dentist. She numbed me up where I was just
- 5:01Speaker 3: couldn't eat. So I just went home miserable and went
- 5:04Speaker 3: to sleep. And I am hungry right now. I didn't
- 5:06Speaker 3: eat nothing.
- 5:07Speaker 1: From I love that you act like you being Hungry's
- 5:09Speaker 1: breaking news. You guys aren't gonna believe this.
- 5:14Speaker 6: You can't hold out for cocoa strip.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I know, I know, but I need so bright now
- 5:19Speaker 1: my stomach. I was looking at there. If you want to.
- 5:23Speaker 6: They're good, they're good quality out.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, I just wait for the sake of
- 5:28Speaker 1: all us?
- 5:29Speaker 5: Can you can you just wait.
- 5:30Speaker 1: A minute's tests?
- 5:34Speaker 4: Top stories on the Tents with Billy's the Kid in the.
- 5:36Speaker 7: Morning only on the new Mixed one or two point
- 5:39Speaker 7: nine four.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Chance to go to Disneyland coming up next. Let's make
- 5:42Speaker 1: it happen. So many chances all day on the Tents.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Candice Slow Paz, what's up on a Friday?
- 5:46Speaker 6: Well, this story started breaking as soon as we got
- 5:48Speaker 6: off the air yesterday. An ambulance that was stolen from
- 5:51Speaker 6: the Fort Worth Fire Department ended in a police chase.
- 5:54Speaker 6: So I guess it was stolen overnight. State troopers were
- 5:57Speaker 6: notified of this around six thirty am yes yesterday that
- 6:01Speaker 6: the stolen ambulance was traveling southbound on I thirty five.
- 6:05Speaker 6: After trying to make a traffic stop, the driver started
- 6:07Speaker 6: to run from law enforcement. This turned into a full
- 6:11Speaker 6: on chase when that ambulance started ramming vehicles, made its
- 6:14Speaker 6: way all the way down to Austin, where the chase
- 6:18Speaker 6: ended when police unfortunately had to use lethal force. This
- 6:22Speaker 6: was all happening on the upper deck of I thirty five,
- 6:25Speaker 6: which was then shut down. Traffic was a nightmary yesterday.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Traffic is a nightmare in Austin anyway, so I can
- 6:31Speaker 1: only imagine in the upper deck especially yes right there,
- 6:35Speaker 1: So wait a minute, he stole an ambulance and made
- 6:38Speaker 1: it from Fort Worth to Austin.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Right by the time they realized, you know where this
- 6:43Speaker 6: was happening, and you know, he was taking out other cars. Yeah. Yeah,
- 6:48Speaker 6: a devastating scene that yesterday and insane.
- 6:51Speaker 1: First of all, just a saying that he made it
- 6:53Speaker 1: that far? Right, did he stop at BUCkies.
- 6:57Speaker 6: Right, we're going to Austin, Yeah, definitely.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Somewhere round Yeah, either way, I'm unfortunate for him.
- 7:08Speaker 6: Yeah, everyone else is safe, absolutely. And we were just
- 7:12Speaker 6: talking about flock cameras yesterday, Well they announced that the
- 7:15Speaker 6: company did that they are now introducing some safeguards to
- 7:18Speaker 6: address privacy concerns. So they say they will shorten the
- 7:22Speaker 6: time they store data from one month to one week
- 7:25Speaker 6: and They will also implement a system that will lock
- 7:27Speaker 6: out users with abnormal search activity. So did this all
- 7:31Speaker 6: start in realer fake news? Earlier this week when you mentioned, uh,
- 7:35Speaker 6: someone using you know, the flock cameras to track, you
- 7:37Speaker 6: know someone, they should have been tracked.
- 7:40Speaker 1: There was a police detective tracking their ex with flock cameras. Yeah,
- 7:43Speaker 1: but it's been a problem that's happened multiple times in
- 7:45Speaker 1: multiple cities. Are abusing the flock cameras and pretty much
- 7:49Speaker 1: stalking people.
- 7:50Speaker 6: Yeah, well this is, you know, the point of all
- 7:53Speaker 6: these safeguards that they're going to implement soon. I thought
- 7:55Speaker 6: that was interesting and we should mention this. Selena Gomez,
- 7:58Speaker 6: her mom, and former business partner are being sued for
- 8:01Speaker 6: allegedly defrauding investors in their mental health company, Wondermind. So
- 8:07Speaker 6: these two companies claim they invested one point two million
- 8:10Speaker 6: dollars into the company and say they were misled about
- 8:14Speaker 6: the resources they actually had. Well, the company was secretly collapsing,
- 8:20Speaker 6: so they say they didn't find out about the issues
- 8:22Speaker 6: with Wondermind until it was exposed in an article published
- 8:26Speaker 6: by the Cut last year. The lawsuit says partnerships didn't
- 8:29Speaker 6: even exist and the app for Wondermind was never even built.
- 8:33Speaker 6: These investors say they were persuaded to invest partly based
- 8:37Speaker 6: on the idea that Selena would actively be involved in
- 8:40Speaker 6: marketing the business through social media, ad deals and TV appearances.
- 8:45Speaker 6: A rep for you know, Selena and her mom hasn't
- 8:47Speaker 6: spoken out about this just yet, but I saw this
- 8:50Speaker 6: everywhere yesterday.
- 8:51Speaker 1: So did I. And I mean, you know, they're like
- 8:53Speaker 1: family to me, Yeah, Selena and them, So you don't
- 8:56Speaker 1: want to see anybody go through anything. But I just
- 8:58Speaker 1: never understood too, why, Hey, she's a billionaire, just started
- 9:01Speaker 1: with your own money. Yeah yeah, why even ask investors
- 9:04Speaker 1: if you know.
- 9:05Speaker 5: And deal with all of it?
- 9:06Speaker 6: Point Yeah, I mean we heard about Wondermind as soon
- 9:09Speaker 6: as it launched. I feel like, and part of that
- 9:11Speaker 6: documentary that came out around mental health and you know
- 9:14Speaker 6: all that Selena's gone through, and then I feel like
- 9:16Speaker 6: we just never heard about it anymore.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true too. I almost forgot about it.
- 9:20Speaker 6: Yeah, same, same.
- 9:22Speaker 1: More chances go to Disneyland. We got that on the
- 9:24Speaker 1: tens every hour, so make sure you listen. Another shot
- 9:26Speaker 1: at seven ten a Mixed one or two point nine

- 9:31Speaker 1: is here?

- 10:10Speaker 1: Brittany will tell Brittany. We said, hi, you guys, have

- 10:27Speaker 5: Entertainment is what it is.
- 10:29Speaker 1: But it's scary because most of the news I guess

- 12:39Speaker 1: Think that's the fake story. I think it's I think

- 12:52Speaker 5: If you have a cow?
- 12:53Speaker 1: Eight three nine, I want to see Pooh race a cow.
- 12:58Speaker 6: But how do we get the cow to race him back.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Well, what you do is you put it in like
- 13:03Speaker 1: a tunnel like you know what I mean, one way only,
- 13:06Speaker 1: and you put food at the end. Well, no, because
- 13:09Speaker 1: that will motivate pooh, We'll.

- 13:34Speaker 1: He is on a run. He's been very good lately
- 13:37Speaker 1: with this. I'm surprised. Okay, let's get to the real stories.
- 13:40Speaker 1: The real stories are wild a cow. Well, the cow
- 13:44Speaker 1: stories fake, even though that is has happened before. Yeah,
- 13:47Speaker 1: I thought, so, I still want race cow. People are calling,
- 13:49Speaker 1: maybe they have cows. We'll get to you in a minute.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I promise. We have no phone screener, so when we're live,
- 13:55Speaker 1: we're live.
- 13:55Speaker 5: Just hang out. We're a ghetto show.
- 13:57Speaker 1: All right. Assault charges file over thirteen year old hitting
- 14:01Speaker 1: ex girlfriend with a ball during dodgeball is a real story.
- 14:05Speaker 1: This happened in gym class where in Arizona, and now
- 14:09Speaker 1: this kid is facing misdemeanor assault charges after a gym
- 14:12Speaker 1: class dodgeball game left his ex girlfriend with bruises. His
- 14:16Speaker 1: name's Able. Two friends say they basically threw dodgeballs at
- 14:21Speaker 1: this girl last year because I mean they were playing dodgeball,
- 14:25Speaker 1: but I guess they were kind of annoyed with her,
- 14:28Speaker 1: so they started like targeting her during the game, and
- 14:31Speaker 1: the cops came and they pressed charges. Wow, I don't
- 14:36Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know how this is gonna stick. Yeah, right,
- 14:39Speaker 1: but they even and the boy even admits, like, yeah,
- 14:41Speaker 1: I was targeting her. But it's just a game at dodgeball,
- 14:44Speaker 1: how the game works.
- 14:45Speaker 6: But it's also like, why are we just playing a
- 14:47Speaker 6: game where we just hit people.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Because it's awesome, I know, but still dodge you know
- 14:52Speaker 1: that trampling, you know, parks whatever. Yeah, they have Dodgeball.
- 14:57Speaker 1: And I used to take my son as a kid,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and then I would kind of play because you know,
- 15:00Speaker 1: the adults can get in there and play too. And
- 15:03Speaker 1: then I noticed I got to stop because I started
- 15:05Speaker 1: getting mad aggressive. Yeah, like a ten year old hit
- 15:07Speaker 1: me in the face and I was like, bro, you
- 15:10Speaker 1: don't want this.
- 15:12Speaker 6: Definitely not.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I want all the.
- 15:14Speaker 5: Slope pops I chucked at this ten years.
- 15:19Speaker 6: Head shot Billy is okay, I.
- 15:21Speaker 5: Don't know sorry, I'm playing to win.
- 15:25Speaker 6: I signed the waiver.
- 15:28Speaker 5: I don't like losing Candice.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I don't care either way. Yeah, so now I guess
- 15:33Speaker 1: this is going to court. This case is going to court.
- 15:36Speaker 1: It's going to be interesting because, I mean, they're playing dodgeball.
- 15:38Speaker 1: I don't want to see a girl targeted, don't get
- 15:41Speaker 1: me wrong. But at the same time, it's dodgeball. You
- 15:43Speaker 1: go into it, no, and you're probably gonna get hit
- 15:45Speaker 1: with the ball, right, You're not supposed to hit. You're
- 15:47Speaker 1: not supposed to head hunt. They call it, right, but
- 15:50Speaker 1: it happens. I would get hit in the face all
- 15:51Speaker 1: the time.
- 15:52Speaker 6: I just stood in the back and I was like, whatever,
- 15:55Speaker 6: I'm too small for this.
- 16:00Speaker 5: Imagine Kenn.
- 16:00Speaker 1: It's the most non confrontational person I've ever met.
- 16:03Speaker 5: My wife.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I'll just be back here if you need me eat
- 16:05Speaker 1: my beans. Okay, this story is very wild. A famous
- 16:11Speaker 1: ghost hunter dies in a car crash after smashing a
- 16:13Speaker 1: religious statue to see if she would be cursed.
- 16:16Speaker 5: This, this is this is insane.
- 16:19Speaker 1: So this Chinese ghost hunter influencer died in a car crash.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna mess her name up, and it's no disrespect.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Her name is I think josh Chareau, that's her name.
- 16:29Speaker 1: She went viral for smashing this religious statue to test
- 16:32Speaker 1: to see if she would be cursed because people said,
- 16:35Speaker 1: don't do that, you'll be cursed, and the video went viral.
- 16:38Speaker 1: She's got a huge fan base, but she would, you know,
- 16:42Speaker 1: like explore abandoned buildings and just try to you know,
- 16:45Speaker 1: break stereotypes about these buildings and all they haunted or not.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Let's see.
- 16:50Speaker 1: So she filmed herself taking a hammer to this Buddhist statue,
- 16:53Speaker 1: this goddess of mercy, and fans were like, I don't
- 16:57Speaker 1: do that, don't do it, don't do it. She does it.
- 17:00Speaker 1: She gets in an uber pretty much a riot here,
- 17:04Speaker 1: dies in the car crash what I mean, like, and
- 17:10Speaker 1: people online are freaking out over it in China going
- 17:13Speaker 1: what did we tell you? We told you don't do this,
- 17:16Speaker 1: don't do it. Yeah, And it was not long after
- 17:20Speaker 1: she did. Is it just a rare, crazy, unfortunate, sad
- 17:25Speaker 1: coincidence or is that karma karma? Or is it no,
- 17:31Speaker 1: it's a real story, Candice.
- 17:33Speaker 5: Yeah, could it be? Yes?
- 17:34Speaker 6: WHOA?
- 17:35Speaker 1: So either way, we have a Buddhist statue, we're gonna
- 17:37Speaker 1: have poo smell for the Wheeling mis Fortune.
- 17:40Speaker 5: We put it on the Wheel of Misfortunes.
- 17:43Speaker 1: We are going in today Wheel of Misfortune at eight thirty.
- 17:46Speaker 5: That happens.
- 17:46Speaker 1: No, I'm just kidding. We put that on the wheel.
- 17:48Speaker 5: That's scary. But we are doing Wheel mis.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Fortunate eight thirty today where we play trivia and then
- 17:52Speaker 1: whoever loses trivia has to spin the wheel and there's
- 17:54Speaker 1: new challenges on the wheel. So I'm giving you a
- 17:56Speaker 1: heads up now, Oh god, And I'm not looking forward
- 17:59Speaker 1: to it because right after the show, we are going
- 18:01Speaker 1: to Coco Shrimp in Dallas to hang out with you.
- 18:03Speaker 1: We want everyone to show up. We're gonna get twenty
- 18:05Speaker 1: five people free lunch. But what if we lose something stupid,
- 18:08Speaker 1: then we're out there standing around wearing something dumb speedo Friday.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I know eight thirty we'll do that. We got a
- 18:17Speaker 1: dirty little secret at seven thirty. So thank you for
- 18:20Speaker 1: having us give me my list music Here we go.
- 18:22Speaker 1: You know I love a good list. Women are spilling
- 18:24Speaker 1: the most underrated green flags and men. It's mixed one
- 18:28Speaker 1: oh two point nine A Billy the Kid, Candice slow Pez,
- 18:30Speaker 1: producer poof somebody sent me this and I'm like, Okay,
- 18:33Speaker 1: I feel like a little bit attacked because why would
- 18:35Speaker 1: someone just send me this on Instagram and be like here,
- 18:37Speaker 1: green flags hint hint.
- 18:38Speaker 6: Yeah, well maybe they just want you to validate yourself.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Send it to Pooh and I, who are both singles.
- 18:43Speaker 1: So whatever the case may be, right, Kennis, let's go
- 18:46Speaker 1: over these and see what these green flags are. And
- 18:47Speaker 1: I also want to see whether it's Pooh or myself
- 18:51Speaker 1: who have these.
- 18:51Speaker 6: Oh, okay, you.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Know you can be honest about it too, all right, Kennis.
- 18:55Speaker 1: You could tell it say, oh, yeah, Pooh has that
- 18:56Speaker 1: green flagger. That's more of a billy green flagger.
- 18:59Speaker 5: You know what. Neither of you have that.
- 19:02Speaker 1: But six red flags over Texas for us, you can
- 19:05Speaker 1: be real, Okay, one green flag number one. This woman
- 19:09Speaker 1: says being able to laugh at himself when he's wrong
- 19:12Speaker 1: or he makes mistakes instead of getting grumpy and making
- 19:14Speaker 1: everyone else's a problem.
- 19:15Speaker 6: Oh okay, uh you have that green flag, Billy. Ooh yeah,
- 19:21Speaker 6: I'm trying to think about Pooh.
- 19:23Speaker 5: He just laughs no matter what anyway.
- 19:24Speaker 6: Yeah, that's right, so I can't ever tell if he's
- 19:26Speaker 6: laughing at himself.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Okay, that's fair. I'll take that.
- 19:32Speaker 5: What about this one underrated green flag?
- 19:36Speaker 1: A lot of women said this, not being worried about
- 19:39Speaker 1: being seen as feminine, not.
- 19:42Speaker 6: Being worried about seen as feminine.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, come on, I don't.
- 19:46Speaker 6: Really see that in either of you. Guys, like y'all
- 19:49Speaker 6: don't ever have that scenario for me.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Know about that, because I will say I think that's
- 19:54Speaker 1: my green flag more than Pooh's. And I only say
- 19:56Speaker 1: that because you we'll both go to the store and
- 19:58Speaker 1: get feminine products.
- 19:59Speaker 5: We don't care.
- 20:00Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, Well, and well, if we're talking about like
- 20:02Speaker 6: your laundry detergent or whatever, yeah, you definitely have that
- 20:05Speaker 6: as a green flag.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:07Speaker 6: I don't know if who has that as a green flag?
- 20:09Speaker 5: I do girly stuff. Is that what you're saying?
- 20:11Speaker 6: Sometimes?
- 20:12Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 20:12Speaker 6: But who has been known to get a random pedicure
- 20:15Speaker 6: and be okay with flaunting it? So hey, okay, green
- 20:17Speaker 6: flag for both okay, oh.
- 20:18Speaker 5: Green flags for both of them.
- 20:20Speaker 1: So Blue is also not secure enough in his masculinity
- 20:23Speaker 1: to be able to say whether a man is handsome
- 20:25Speaker 1: or not. I just say he's cool. That's it. He's
- 20:28Speaker 1: like I can see a guy and go, that's he's
- 20:30Speaker 1: a good looking guy, and I don't feel like I'm
- 20:33Speaker 1: less of a man. No, not at all. Who has
- 20:35Speaker 1: a problem with that? I asked him all the time.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You think he's a good looking guy, right, and I
- 20:38Speaker 1: just say he's cool.
- 20:39Speaker 5: But I didn't ask me.
- 20:43Speaker 1: That makes me laugh, all right, Next one crying at
- 20:47Speaker 1: media that moves him, like a movie or a commercial. Oh,
- 20:51Speaker 1: it shows that he's in touch with his emotions and
- 20:53Speaker 1: isn't afraid to show it.
- 20:54Speaker 6: Okay, I don't know if either of you guys have
- 20:56Speaker 6: that green flag, but we don't watch media like that together.
- 20:59Speaker 1: I cried, are in certain commercials you do?
- 21:02Speaker 6: Yeah, Well, if it's a dog thing.
- 21:04Speaker 5: If it's a dog thing, I'm prying.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Yeah. If it's a movie or a flashback memory on
- 21:09Speaker 1: Facebook about my son, I'm crying.
- 21:10Speaker 6: I don't know if I've ever seen pooh cry. No,
- 21:12Speaker 6: I really don't want to, to be honest, No, me either, Well,
- 21:16Speaker 6: just for him, I don't want him to be sad.
- 21:18Speaker 1: But I absolutely cried during the commercials where a soldier
- 21:22Speaker 1: surprises their kids they come back. Okay, yeah, I'll get
- 21:25Speaker 1: teared up.
- 21:26Speaker 6: Yeah, in that case, you guys would both have a
- 21:28Speaker 6: green flag, and.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I have seen that pooh cry a Chinese buffet before
- 21:32Speaker 1: because they didn't refill the shrimp fast enough.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I did see that.
- 21:36Speaker 1: What about this one being confident in themselves but humble
- 21:39Speaker 1: at the same time, not making everything some big contest.
- 21:43Speaker 5: Oh that's not my grain.
- 21:44Speaker 6: No, that's not yours really at all.
- 21:46Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, okay, I'm humbling myself.
- 21:51Speaker 6: I'm not leaving a red flag for you. You're just
- 21:54Speaker 6: not getting the green flag on it.
- 21:56Speaker 5: That's fair.
- 21:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Everything is a contest, right to me, for sure? Hang it,
- 22:01Speaker 1: even this I don't want to lose.
- 22:02Speaker 6: Yeah, let's walk into the bathroom here as the contest.
- 22:06Speaker 5: That is competitive, all right? What about this one?
- 22:10Speaker 1: A green flag and a man is when he randomly
- 22:12Speaker 1: remembers little tiny details you mentioned weeks ago in passing,
- 22:15Speaker 1: That is literal top tier behavior.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Okay, I think you guys actually both have the green
- 22:19Speaker 6: flag on that one.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Oh good, Yeah, I'll take that. Yeah all right. What
- 22:23Speaker 1: about this one? Admity mistakes without a fight, willing to
- 22:26Speaker 1: be wrong?
- 22:27Speaker 6: Oh, willing to be wrong? Oh boy, really, that's more
- 22:34Speaker 6: of like being in a relationship with you guys. So
- 22:36Speaker 6: I don't know if you guys are wrong in the
- 22:38Speaker 6: at work. It's like, well, I just messed up whatever
- 22:41Speaker 6: it is, what it is. Who admitted he was wrong
- 22:43Speaker 6: the other day and was totally fine with it. So
- 22:44Speaker 6: I'm gonna give you the green flag on that Pooh,
- 22:46Speaker 6: thank you.
- 22:46Speaker 5: Well, when you're wrong a lot, sometimes.
- 22:48Speaker 7: You have to. It's a new Mixed one O two
- 22:50Speaker 7: point nine.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Tough Stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid in
- 22:55Speaker 4: the morning.
- 22:56Speaker 7: Only on the New Mixed one O two point nine.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Thank you for having us on this morning. It's Friday.
- 23:01Speaker 1: We got a chance to go to Disneyland and coming
- 23:02Speaker 1: up next. Don't forget about that. We do it all
- 23:04Speaker 1: day on the tents. Candice, what is going on?
- 23:06Speaker 6: Well, guys. Eggs sold in Texas just got FDA's most
- 23:10Speaker 6: severe warning. One point five million eggs now given the
- 23:13Speaker 6: highest risk classification by the FDA because of possible salmonella.
- 23:18Speaker 6: These were distributed in Texas to Kroger and Brookshires. They
- 23:22Speaker 6: were sold under the brand names Kroger, Simple Truth, Brookshires,
- 23:26Speaker 6: Country Morning and Sun Ups.
- 23:28Speaker 1: We know which ones are which I can't We can't
- 23:30Speaker 1: eat anything.
- 23:30Speaker 5: I can't eat lettuce, I.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Can't eat lapenoslopennios. I can't eat beef because that was recall.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I don't know what beef was recalled. I can't check up.
- 23:38Speaker 6: I know it's a lot, it's a lot, for sure,
- 23:41Speaker 6: but you have to go look at the list see
- 23:42Speaker 6: if it's the brand. David has the code. It's a
- 23:45Speaker 6: whole thing. So let's talk about something more fun. Guys,
- 23:48Speaker 6: are we ready for some football? Because the Cowboys will
- 23:51Speaker 6: play their first preseason game tomorrow night against the Seahawks
- 23:54Speaker 6: that starts at seven o'clock. We aren't expecting to see
- 23:58Speaker 6: much out of our starters, mostly rookies. But yeah, I'm
- 24:01Speaker 6: ready for football, even if it's preseason and it's on
- 24:04Speaker 6: in the background and I don't know who's playing.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it just feels good. It's like comforting. Yes, there's
- 24:08Speaker 1: something about it that it's good to have on, even
- 24:10Speaker 1: if you know, like you said, even if it's backup
- 24:12Speaker 1: players and it's preseason. Totally, there's something kind of awesome
- 24:15Speaker 1: about it. And it means that we're that much closer
- 24:18Speaker 1: to cooler weather.
- 24:19Speaker 6: Yes, exactly, and the holidays.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:21Speaker 6: By the way, Cowboys ranked most valuable NFL team for
- 24:25Speaker 6: the seven straight year at a value of fifteen point
- 24:28Speaker 6: five billion dollars. That is up from twenty one percent
- 24:32Speaker 6: last year. But after the Cowboys, the Rams, Giants, Patriots,
- 24:36Speaker 6: and Jets. So yeah, fifteen point five billion.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Fifteen point five billion, I know. And it's this is
- 24:42Speaker 1: perfect timing because this is our.
- 24:43Speaker 5: Year two, so it is our year.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it's all aligning perfectly.
- 24:47Speaker 6: It's looking pretty good, guys. The New York Times just
- 24:52Speaker 6: revealed the most popular emoji in the world, and the
- 24:55Speaker 6: results seem to mean people are crying a lot, guys.
- 24:58Speaker 6: The crying emoji was numbnumber one, although they describe it
- 25:02Speaker 6: as the loudly crying face. This is like the two
- 25:05Speaker 6: straight down tears.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Okay, but that can be funny too, it can.
- 25:09Speaker 6: That is the good news, they say. You know, it's
- 25:10Speaker 6: not just for crying, but it's also when something so funny, emotional,
- 25:14Speaker 6: or embarrassing that you could cry. And then right behind
- 25:17Speaker 6: that was the laughing emojis, so the head tilted one,
- 25:20Speaker 6: which I guess they call rolling on the floor laughing.
- 25:22Speaker 1: So these are the most used emojis. Crying one. Number
- 25:25Speaker 1: two is the laughing tilted emoji. Right, we all just
- 25:28Speaker 1: tilted our heads.
- 25:29Speaker 6: Right, do you tilt to the left or right?
- 25:33Speaker 1: Left?
- 25:33Speaker 6: Me too? Oh good. And then and number three was
- 25:37Speaker 6: the laughing one, but like the normal one.
- 25:39Speaker 1: If you look at your top three emojis, what are they, Candice?
- 25:42Speaker 6: Yeah, mine is the hand to the face like like
- 25:44Speaker 6: slap your forehead whatever.
- 25:47Speaker 5: That's your number one.
- 25:48Speaker 6: That's my number one.
- 25:49Speaker 1: That shows a lot about your personality.
- 25:53Speaker 6: I've been wonky lately.
- 25:54Speaker 5: You are wonky?
- 25:56Speaker 6: Yeah, that one. And then the I don't know how
- 25:58Speaker 6: to describe this. It's like the face more weird mouth
- 26:01Speaker 6: like alright, like cringe, yes, yeah. And then my third
- 26:07Speaker 6: one is the smiling face with the three hearts going
- 26:09Speaker 6: around it.
- 26:10Speaker 5: Do you ever laugh?
- 26:11Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 26:12Speaker 1: Okay, just making sure because you're If I looked at
- 26:14Speaker 1: your emojis, you need therapy.
- 26:17Speaker 6: Well yeah, I probably do. No one sent me anything
- 26:19Speaker 6: funny lately.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Because mine is heart laughing and then crying. I figured
- 26:26Speaker 1: yours would be one of the dancing because yeah, he.
- 26:28Speaker 6: Likes a disco guy. But I laugh more on social
- 26:30Speaker 6: media on my laugh emoj Instagram. I mean I do, but.
- 26:35Speaker 1: It's more a mine or the laughing ones.
- 26:38Speaker 3: And then I have been lately the rolling, the you know,
- 26:41Speaker 3: the side I you know, okay, yeah, I was giving
- 26:46Speaker 3: that to my son, rolling your eyes.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Yeah, because my son's they'll ask me for some stuff.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'll.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Hit them with that emoji.
- 26:55Speaker 6: Yeah, like that is funny. Did you tell us yours?
- 26:58Speaker 1: You're all three?
- 26:59Speaker 5: Okay, you just don't listen to me?
- 27:01Speaker 6: No, I did.
- 27:02Speaker 5: Crying emoji insert.
- 27:05Speaker 6: Let me tell you real quick. Que Ella Langley says
- 27:07Speaker 6: she may never recover from so of course she's in
- 27:09Speaker 6: town at Dickie's Arena this weekend, but she said that
- 27:12Speaker 6: about this performance Matt McConaughey and Jimmy Fallon did of
- 27:16Speaker 6: her song Choos in Texas A listen to this, It's
- 27:24Speaker 6: kind of fun.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 27:26Speaker 6: They had the indie folk band The Last Bison with
- 27:29Speaker 6: them doing this.
- 27:30Speaker 5: She liked it or didn't like it?
- 27:32Speaker 6: She did like it. Matt McConaughey was, you know, promoting
- 27:35Speaker 6: a new movie he has out today. But yeah, Ella
- 27:37Speaker 6: saw the video and said, I may never recover from this,
- 27:40Speaker 6: which I think is cool. Yeah, to see someone like
- 27:43Speaker 6: Matt McConaughey doing.
- 27:44Speaker 5: So, that's kind of awesome.
- 27:45Speaker 1: I love mad. That's yeah, that's my celeb man crush,
- 27:48Speaker 1: is it?
- 27:48Speaker 5: I think so?
- 27:49Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:50Speaker 5: Was mineampoos?
- 27:52Speaker 1: No?
- 27:53Speaker 6: Why not?
- 27:54Speaker 1: He's too crush like Glen poll if I mean wow, Okay,
- 27:59Speaker 1: that made him out of nowhere. He's cool, dude.
- 28:00Speaker 6: He's like the younger up and coming almost snat McConaughey,
- 28:04Speaker 6: same vibe.
- 28:05Speaker 5: Do you like younger man?
- 28:06Speaker 1: Okay, gotcha, you're right.
- 28:08Speaker 6: I'm Kanda slope As.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Those are your.
- 28:09Speaker 6: Texas soft stories.
- 28:13Speaker 4: Get it off your test.
- 28:14Speaker 6: You promise you'll feel better.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret Mix.

- 28:45Speaker 1: that secret may be, and you have.
- 28:47Speaker 8: One, I sure do.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Okay, you don't sound very see you sound like you
- 28:52Speaker 1: could be very sweet.
- 28:53Speaker 5: And you have no secrets whatsoever.
- 28:55Speaker 1: But fun so far, she said, one word, I'm judging it.
- 29:00Speaker 5: So what's going on?
- 29:01Speaker 8: Well, I actually kind of have a pretty big secret
- 29:04Speaker 8: that I've been keeping from my boyfriend. Okay, I have
- 29:08Speaker 8: a secret apartment.
- 29:10Speaker 5: You have a secret apartment.
- 29:13Speaker 1: What?
- 29:14Speaker 8: Yeah for contact? Okay, for contact. We've been dating about
- 29:19Speaker 8: eight months, and I mean, honestly, it's been going really well.
- 29:23Speaker 8: And a couple months ago he started pushing for me
- 29:26Speaker 8: to move in with him, because you know, I'm there
- 29:29Speaker 8: every night anyway, so what's the point of paying rent
- 29:32Speaker 8: anywhere else? And I mean he's got a point, like
- 29:36Speaker 8: he's not wrong, but I've only lived with one other
- 29:40Speaker 8: boyfriend in my entire life and it ended horribly. So
- 29:46Speaker 8: we were living in this house, we broke up and
- 29:49Speaker 8: basically overnight I was told to get my stuff and
- 29:52Speaker 8: get out. And I remember feeling like it was horrible.
- 29:56Speaker 8: I felt so helpless because I was like basically homeless.
- 30:01Speaker 8: I didn't have a home, you know, and so I
- 30:04Speaker 8: don't know, I just promised myself I would never be
- 30:06Speaker 8: in that position again, you know.
- 30:08Speaker 5: Which makes sense?
- 30:10Speaker 6: Smart?
- 30:10Speaker 8: Yeah, I do, like it makes sense. And so when
- 30:13Speaker 8: my current boyfriend asked me to move in. I agreed,
- 30:17Speaker 8: and he thinks my lease ended in that I got
- 30:22Speaker 8: rid of my apartment, and I told him I donated
- 30:25Speaker 8: my furniture because he already had everything in his house,
- 30:28Speaker 8: which I don't know, feels like just a white lie, right,
- 30:34Speaker 8: I didn't really donate anything. I ended up renewing my
- 30:37Speaker 8: lease for another year, and he has no idea.
- 30:42Speaker 1: What really, So you're you're going to pay for this
- 30:46Speaker 1: apartment for another year, but you're living with him because
- 30:50Speaker 1: of just in case, you're gonna pay half rent wherever
- 30:53Speaker 1: y'all are living together.
- 30:54Speaker 8: So fortunately I make really good money and I'm not
- 30:58Speaker 8: really paying rent else he owns it. He makes good
- 31:02Speaker 8: money and so nothing financially changed for him when I
- 31:05Speaker 8: moved in. I make sure to like buy the groceries
- 31:08Speaker 8: and pay for like railing stuff from the house, so
- 31:11Speaker 8: it's not like I'm taking advantage or anything, you know.
- 31:15Speaker 8: But yeah, I don't know. I just maybe this is crazy,
- 31:18Speaker 8: but I love still having my apartment.
- 31:22Speaker 1: So would you go there? Is it just empty or
- 31:25Speaker 1: what is going about? I guess you have your furniture,
- 31:27Speaker 1: Like you said, you didn't donate it. That's so crazy.
- 31:31Speaker 8: I don't know. It's like I just go there once
- 31:33Speaker 8: or twice a week. Sometimes I tell him I'm like
- 31:36Speaker 8: running errands or going to the gym, and I really
- 31:39Speaker 8: just go sit in my apartment for a few and like,
- 31:43Speaker 8: still that.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Is interesting to me because you know what, I think
- 31:47Speaker 1: your intentions are good. And it's funny because I get
- 31:51Speaker 1: I kind of get this. I've been a guy who's
- 31:54Speaker 1: you know, I've been single lately, and I understand how
- 31:57Speaker 1: much I really appreciate my time.
- 32:00Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, and that that is important.
- 32:02Speaker 1: And sometimes it's hard to explain to a partner though,
- 32:05Speaker 1: that you need that right without them feeling it.
- 32:07Speaker 6: They think you don't need that right, you don't care.
- 32:10Speaker 1: About them at all.
- 32:11Speaker 8: Yeah, it's quiet, it's mine and honestly, the best part
- 32:15Speaker 8: about it is it gives me security.
- 32:17Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, that makes sense.
- 32:19Speaker 9: So if something happens, you're a Yeah, like if we
- 32:22Speaker 9: get in a huge fight tomorrow and he tells me
- 32:24Speaker 9: to get out, I don't have to call my parents.
- 32:25Speaker 8: I don't have to find a hotel, I don't have
- 32:28Speaker 8: to go beg somebody to let me stay with them.
- 32:30Speaker 8: I just grab my stuff, I go home.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I mean, do you feel like, let me ask you this, though,
- 32:35Speaker 1: do you feel like having that security of keeping this
- 32:38Speaker 1: secret quote unquote secret apartment keeps you less invested in
- 32:42Speaker 1: the relationship or do you feel like you know what
- 32:44Speaker 1: I mean, like you, I don't know. I just feel
- 32:46Speaker 1: like you're not one hundred percent committient. Yeah, because you
- 32:49Speaker 1: want to take a chance. If you're living with them,
- 32:51Speaker 1: you might as well go and go all in.
- 32:52Speaker 8: I know, yeah, I feel like that's the only thing
- 32:56Speaker 8: he thinks. I took this huge step and completely moved
- 32:59Speaker 8: in with him, And in the back of my head,
- 33:01Speaker 8: I guess I've got, like, I don't know, one foot
- 33:03Speaker 8: out the door. Does it feel like really the door
- 33:06Speaker 8: a little bit?
- 33:07Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 33:08Speaker 1: Maybe. But also he doesn't understand too And I know
- 33:10Speaker 1: he doesn't know right now, but that you've been burned before,
- 33:12Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's something that he has to take
- 33:15Speaker 1: into effect. But obviously I don't think he's going to
- 33:17Speaker 1: know about this. If he does find out by chance,
- 33:19Speaker 1: it's gonna be weird.
- 33:21Speaker 8: Yeah, that'll be completely insane if he finds out. But
- 33:25Speaker 8: I don't know. I don't feel like I'm planning for
- 33:26Speaker 8: us to fail. I feel like I'm protecting myself because
- 33:29Speaker 8: I've already learned this lesson the hard way once, so
- 33:32Speaker 8: hopefully he'll understand.
- 33:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:34Speaker 6: I also don't like when we're giving in to people
- 33:36Speaker 6: pressuring us to do things we really don't want to do.
- 33:39Speaker 1: But it sounds like you kind of you wanted to
- 33:41Speaker 1: do it. You just wanted the security of having a
- 33:44Speaker 1: place of your own at the same time, totally.
- 33:48Speaker 8: So like maybe you guys think I'm completely crazy or
- 33:52Speaker 8: some people might, but I feel like I'm smart for this, so.
- 33:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna see what people think and we'll
- 33:58Speaker 1: go from there. But I mean, I get while you're
- 34:01Speaker 1: doing it. I will say that. But good luck with everything,
- 34:03Speaker 1: and I hope it works out between you two. I
- 34:05Speaker 1: hope he doesn't. And no man should kick you out
- 34:07Speaker 1: with nowhere to go. Seriously, every unless you cheated with
- 34:12Speaker 1: his best friend. Oh yes, you got to go, I
- 34:17Speaker 1: would Okay, all right, you don't sound like that. Well,
- 34:19Speaker 1: good luck and keep us updated on what's going on.
- 34:22Speaker 6: Yeah, we'll do.
- 34:23Speaker 8: Thank you, all all right, you're welcome.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I mean there's some couples right now they don't even
- 34:26Speaker 1: live together, that are married and they swear by it.
- 34:30Speaker 6: Yeah, I've heard of that.
- 34:31Speaker 1: That that is so weird actual being married and your
- 34:34Speaker 1: wife lives down the street. Right, that's weird, doesn't sound
- 34:37Speaker 1: awfulness Court, It gets settled here with Billy the kid
- 34:42Speaker 1: in the morning, all right, for the Honorable Judge Candice Lopans.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Here she is with her gabble, her BUCkies blanket, and
- 34:48Speaker 1: she's ready to get down a business, serve up some justice.
- 34:52Speaker 5: Oh yeah, it is cold.
- 34:53Speaker 1: In the studio as always, all right, if you got
- 34:55Speaker 1: something for Candas Court at candasan Air on Instagram at
- 34:58Speaker 1: candasan Air. This woman since she says, my friend got
- 35:01Speaker 1: married last weekend and I have to tell you why
- 35:03Speaker 1: she left her own wedding mad at me. Oh, first
- 35:07Speaker 1: of all, this was a no food wedding.
- 35:11Speaker 4: What thog?
- 35:12Speaker 1: Okay, she said, this is.
- 35:13Speaker 5: A no It was a no food wedding. Well in
- 35:17Speaker 5: the heck is a no food wedding? All right.
- 35:19Speaker 1: There were light bites, but that's it, and they onlast
- 35:23Speaker 1: lasted about thirty minutes and they were gone. I held
- 35:26Speaker 1: out for as long as I could, but after about
- 35:27Speaker 1: an hour into the perception, I door dashed some food.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I didn't think it would be a big deal. And
- 35:41Speaker 1: I tried to catch the delivery outside but got caught
- 35:44Speaker 1: in a conversation and the dasher ended up coming inside
- 35:48Speaker 1: the wedding looking for me. Come, I can't. My friend
- 35:56Speaker 1: the bride saw this happen and went off on me.
- 36:00Speaker 1: How I let a random dude come to her wedding.
- 36:03Speaker 1: She thought it was tacky. But sorry, I was just hungry.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Who doesn't feed their friends at their wedding?
- 36:10Speaker 5: Am I wrong? Oh? This is a good one.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I've never heard of.
- 36:14Speaker 5: This, but this is so something that I would do.
- 36:19Speaker 6: Yes, you would.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sorry. First of all, I hate weddings.
- 36:23Speaker 6: Yeah, that's true.
- 36:24Speaker 1: I don't care how in love you are. I'm sorry.
- 36:27Speaker 1: It could be my best friend. I just I'll go
- 36:30Speaker 1: I guess right, But.
- 36:31Speaker 6: It's just I mean, no, no dinner service. Weddings should
- 36:37Speaker 6: be held outside normal meal times in the first place,
- 36:40Speaker 6: Like I've heard of these happening in like the afternoon.
- 36:42Speaker 6: It's like a day wedding vibe, like two o'clock. You know,
- 36:45Speaker 6: they're not like serving dinner. I mean you have to
- 36:48Speaker 6: specify what a full meal isn't going to be served?
- 36:50Speaker 1: Firstal if you're having a dinner, if you're having a
- 36:52Speaker 1: wedding in Texas outside in the day. Yeah, the only
- 36:56Speaker 1: thing you're serving up is heat stroke. What are you doing?
- 37:00Speaker 1: What are you doing in the summer? You're doing this.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I've been to one of those. I'm sweating. Everybody's miserable,
- 37:04Speaker 1: and then we have to wait in a long line
- 37:06Speaker 1: just to get water. It's like, what is this survivor?
- 37:09Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 37:09Speaker 1: Or is it we're celebrating your love because I don't
- 37:11Speaker 1: want to celebrate anymore.
- 37:12Speaker 5: But no food. Wedding is wild. I know it's.
- 37:15Speaker 6: Expensive, yeah, very expensive, but just a lope.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, I need my food.
- 37:20Speaker 3: If I'm going to stand up there and watch y'all, say,
- 37:22Speaker 3: I do I need to eat?
- 37:24Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 37:24Speaker 6: Thirty minutes of light bites?
- 37:25Speaker 1: Yeah? What's a light bite?
- 37:27Speaker 6: It's just like baby snacks, like orders.
- 37:30Speaker 1: You know, look at me. I ain't no baby. I'm
- 37:32Speaker 1: a big, big who and I look like we could
- 37:35Speaker 1: survive on light bites.
- 37:36Speaker 7: I know.
- 37:37Speaker 6: I mean, I'd be upset if I was the bride too,
- 37:39Speaker 6: But also I would have let you know, we're not
- 37:42Speaker 6: serving a lot of food. Put a beef stick in
- 37:43Speaker 6: your purse, you know.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Come on, put a chomp in your purse.
- 37:51Speaker 6: Emergency chomps.
- 37:52Speaker 1: What do you expect people are also drinking? Now, now,
- 37:54Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you right now, if you invite
- 37:56Speaker 1: me to a wedding and it's no food and no booze,
- 37:59Speaker 1: you better have If you have no food.
- 38:00Speaker 5: You better have an open bar.
- 38:02Speaker 1: But then it's also like you have an open bar,
- 38:04Speaker 1: you gotta have foods so people don't get too hamsterd. Yeah.
- 38:06Speaker 5: I don't know what you know. I don't know what's.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Going on, but I'm not going to a no food wedding.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I don't know my side, Candis. I don't think it's
- 38:14Speaker 1: tacky to door dash anything. I wouldn't have let the
- 38:16Speaker 1: guy get inside. Yeah, I would have met him in
- 38:19Speaker 1: the park. I just want to see people's faces. Is
- 38:22Speaker 1: there some guy that comes in with a bag of
- 38:23Speaker 1: taco bell.
- 38:25Speaker 6: He's like, I'm looking for Alia is bill here?
- 38:29Speaker 5: I got I got some burritos for a bill.
- 38:33Speaker 1: That's me as I'm on the dance here, as I'm
- 38:36Speaker 1: on the dance word doing the ymc air hammered. That's
- 38:41Speaker 1: what you get, Brenda, for making me sit here and
- 38:44Speaker 1: try to survive up to you know, to Kila all night.
- 38:47Speaker 1: No food, okay, It doesn't matter what we think though,
- 38:50Speaker 1: It only matters what Cannas Lopez thinks.
- 38:52Speaker 5: This is your court, it's your judgment. Do we have
- 38:56Speaker 5: a verdict?
- 38:57Speaker 6: Sorry lady who wrote in, But you're guilty of being
- 39:00Speaker 6: a delivery donna. Oh, only because you should have caught
- 39:05Speaker 6: the dasher outside. That's where you mess up.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Sometimes there's slick with it and you've been drinking your
- 39:09Speaker 1: tips and you're not on your phone tracking him.
- 39:11Speaker 6: He doesn't know where he's at, right, I know, but
- 39:13Speaker 6: you got to make that happen. Don't let the dasher
- 39:15Speaker 6: come inside the wedding.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Honestly, you know, if I'm the bride, I'm inviting him
- 39:19Speaker 1: in and being like, well, bro, come on in.
- 39:20Speaker 5: Why didn't you bring more? Get on the dance floor, let's.
- 39:22Speaker 6: Go, you know, give me some of those chees sticks
- 39:25Speaker 6: that would have went viral.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Yeah, give me my triple dipper on the dance floor. Right,
- 39:29Speaker 1: all right, fine, Cannas, she is guilty of being a
- 39:32Speaker 1: delivery donna.
- 39:33Speaker 5: Yeah, cord is shady.
- 39:34Speaker 4: Today's Tough Stories on the Dents with Billy the Kid
- 39:38Speaker 4: in the.
- 39:38Speaker 7: Morning only on the New Mix one two point nine Chance.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Go to Disneyland and coming up next, But first, Cannas
- 39:44Speaker 1: low Fez, What is going on?
- 39:45Speaker 6: Yeah, well, this was a wild story. Yesterday an ambulance
- 39:48Speaker 6: that was stolen from the Fort Worth Fire Department ended
- 39:51Speaker 6: in a police chase. I guess it was stolen overnight.
- 39:54Speaker 6: State troopers were notified of this around six thirty a m.
- 39:57Speaker 6: Yesterday that this stolen ambulance was try traveling southbound on
- 40:01Speaker 6: I thirty five, and then after trying to make a
- 40:04Speaker 6: traffic stop, that driver started to run from law enforcement.
- 40:08Speaker 6: That turned into a police chase when that ambulance started
- 40:11Speaker 6: ramming other vehicles. It's made its way all the way
- 40:15Speaker 6: down to Austin, where the chase ended when police unfortunately
- 40:18Speaker 6: had to use lethal force. This was all happening on
- 40:22Speaker 6: the upper deck of I thirty five, which was then
- 40:24Speaker 6: shut down.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Wow for hours. So from Fort Worth a chase from
- 40:29Speaker 1: Fort Worth to Austin.
- 40:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess they stole it and then it was gone.
- 40:33Speaker 6: And by the time they were notified, they're like, yeah,
- 40:36Speaker 6: it's going southbound on I thirty five.
- 40:38Speaker 1: So I thought the police were literally chasing him for
- 40:40Speaker 1: all that, And I'm like, first of all, I'm amazed
- 40:42Speaker 1: he got there quickly without traffic.
- 40:44Speaker 5: Right, did he stop at Bucki's what do you do?
- 40:47Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 40:47Speaker 6: I don't know where the light's on? Was it like
- 40:49Speaker 6: you just moved out of the way because you thought
- 40:51Speaker 6: it was an emergency vehicle. You're in an ambulance, right,
- 40:54Speaker 6: Is it that easy when you're driving that to know
- 40:56Speaker 6: where the lights are, the buttons for all the things are.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I don't know, But why do you steal an amb in?
- 41:00Speaker 1: This obviously had issues, but yeah, wow, that's I mean,
- 41:03Speaker 1: thankfully nobody else got hurt.
- 41:04Speaker 6: Yeah, absolutely, guys. Flock Safety, the AI surveillance camera company,
- 41:09Speaker 6: just announced they are now introducing some safeguards to address
- 41:13Speaker 6: privacy concerns. So they say they will shorten the time
- 41:17Speaker 6: they store data from one month to one week. They
- 41:20Speaker 6: will also implement a system that will lock out users
- 41:23Speaker 6: with abnormal search activity. This comes you know, people are having,
- 41:27Speaker 6: you know, major concerns over privacy, and then we're hearing
- 41:30Speaker 6: stories about these cameras, you know, police misusing their access
- 41:34Speaker 6: to these cameras, which is unfortunate.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Yeah, we had that police detective who was logging into
- 41:39Speaker 1: Flock cameras and then following her ex right, which these
- 41:44Speaker 1: cameras are everywhere and it's become a big deal, and
- 41:46Speaker 1: it does feel weird, but I'm seeing more and more. Yeah,
- 41:49Speaker 1: in neighborhoods.
- 41:50Speaker 5: We talked about it yesterday.
- 41:51Speaker 1: They're just there.
- 41:52Speaker 6: I don't even really noticed them. Honestly. I see people
- 41:55Speaker 6: in the Facebook groups, you know, complaining about these and
- 41:57Speaker 6: talking about you know, where they're at, but I just
- 41:59Speaker 6: never ever see them.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Well now, I mean they're just trying to use it
- 42:02Speaker 1: more for you know, not only law enforcement, but law
- 42:04Speaker 1: enforcement is also using AI in some cities to answer
- 42:07Speaker 1: nine one one calls.
- 42:08Speaker 6: Yeah, that's weird, but it might work, you know. I
- 42:11Speaker 6: mean think about when we called nine one one in
- 42:13Speaker 6: the studio we got transferred to Farmer's branch to Adison,
- 42:16Speaker 6: you know.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yeah, we had to call nine one one when poo
- 42:18Speaker 1: ate the hottest ship in the world, and we got
- 42:21Speaker 1: transferred four times. Right, who would have been dead? And
- 42:26Speaker 1: for me giving him mouth to mouth?
- 42:27Speaker 5: Oh no, I'm a hero.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I saved his life.
- 42:31Speaker 6: No, no, ok, he did by calling nine one one,
- 42:35Speaker 6: I guess guys. Selena Gomez, her mom, and former business partner,
- 42:40Speaker 6: are being sued for allegedly defrauding investors in their mental
- 42:44Speaker 6: health company Wondermind. So two companies claim they invested one
- 42:49Speaker 6: point two million dollars into the company and say they
- 42:52Speaker 6: were misled about the company's resources while it was secretly collapsing.
- 42:57Speaker 7: Uh.
- 42:58Speaker 6: They say they didn't find out about the issue use
- 43:00Speaker 6: with the company until it was exposed in an article
- 43:02Speaker 6: that was published by The Cut. I guess this happened
- 43:05Speaker 6: last fall, but the lawsuit says partnerships didn't even exist
- 43:09Speaker 6: and the app for Wondermind was never even built. These
- 43:12Speaker 6: investors say they were persuaded to invest partly based on
- 43:15Speaker 6: the idea that Selena would actively be involved in marketing
- 43:18Speaker 6: the business through social media, ad deals and TV appearances.
- 43:23Speaker 6: A representative for Selena and her mom hasn't spoken out
- 43:26Speaker 6: at this point. But interesting to see where this goes,
- 43:29Speaker 6: because you know, mental health is so important. It is
- 43:32Speaker 6: an important, you know thing to Selena. We saw her
- 43:35Speaker 6: documentary and I remember.
- 43:37Speaker 5: When it came out.
- 43:37Speaker 1: I thought, Oh, good, an app in a platform that's
- 43:40Speaker 1: really going to help mental health.
- 43:41Speaker 5: We need that.
- 43:41Speaker 6: Yeah, and someone who can really have influence when it
- 43:44Speaker 6: comes to younger people and their mental health. So yeah,
- 43:47Speaker 6: unfortunate that that's happening, But I'll keep you posted. I'm
- 43:49Speaker 6: Canda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 43:54Speaker 7: Mix one of two point nine was.
- 43:56Speaker 5: The Wheel of Misfortune. We should just call it the
- 43:59Speaker 5: Wheel of Torture.
- 44:00Speaker 1: It's makes one O two point nine Ability Kid Candice
- 44:02Speaker 1: low Pez, producer Poo is here.
- 44:04Speaker 5: We're gonna play trivia.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Junior's on his way down and then we basically whoever
- 44:07Speaker 1: loses has spin the Wheel misfortune just a bunch of
- 44:10Speaker 1: crappy stuff on a wheel and we go live on
- 44:13Speaker 1: Instagram every Friday too. We started this tradition last week,
- 44:16Speaker 1: so at Mix one O two nine FM. We'll do
- 44:18Speaker 1: it here about five ten minutes, so before we spin
- 44:21Speaker 1: the wheel or whatever. After we spin the wheel, when
- 44:23Speaker 1: we know what it's gonna be, right, whatever the case
- 44:25Speaker 1: may be. Okay, I'm excited and nervous because well it's
- 44:31Speaker 1: just tough. You never know who's gonna lose. And I'm
- 44:33Speaker 1: nervous because we got to go to Coco Shrimp today.
- 44:36Speaker 1: I know at noon, and we're gonna buy lunch for
- 44:38Speaker 1: the first twenty five people show up. Everybody come down
- 44:40Speaker 1: Coco Shrimp right off the toll Way and Wycliffe in Dallas.
- 44:44Speaker 1: We're celebrating their grand opening. The place is so good
- 44:47Speaker 1: noon to two today. So let's say we get take shots.
- 44:50Speaker 1: It lands on take shots that we'll have to keep on.
- 44:53Speaker 1: We'll have to be tipsy at Coco Shrimp. I don't
- 44:57Speaker 1: have to uber down there, or Candas is gonna have
- 44:59Speaker 1: to uber down there drunk Candace at Cocoa shrump.
- 45:03Speaker 5: Oh, that could be awesome anyway.
- 45:06Speaker 1: There's sing all days on the Wheel Misfortune, which means
- 45:08Speaker 1: for the rest of the day we'd have to sing.
- 45:09Speaker 1: We couldn't talk. We'd have to sing everything we wanted
- 45:11Speaker 1: to say. Yeah, I know that's scary. You'd like that.
- 45:14Speaker 1: There's there's something new on the wheel too. It says
- 45:16Speaker 1: O f foot model, only fans foot model, So you'd
- 45:22Speaker 1: have to do.
- 45:24Speaker 5: Some you know, like stuff with your feet.
- 45:26Speaker 6: Oh god, my toes are not ready for that mine either.
- 45:31Speaker 1: No, mona, there's a bunch of stuff on the wheel.
- 45:34Speaker 1: So let's get to the trivia. Are we ready to play?
- 45:36Speaker 1: All right, let's go.
- 45:39Speaker 5: I'm not excited.
- 45:40Speaker 4: It's billy to get in the morning's misfortune nine will.
- 45:51Speaker 5: Missfortune.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Here we go, our host Junior, we call him Junior
- 45:56Speaker 1: Tribek when he gets trivia. Rest in peace, to late. Great,
- 46:00Speaker 1: that's Alex Trebek Direct Jeopardy. Some people don't know that.
- 46:04Speaker 1: All right, Wheel Misfortune trivia. We got five questions. Whoever
- 46:07Speaker 1: gets the least amount right we'll lose and have to
- 46:10Speaker 1: spin the wheel. The questions are always pretty good, so
- 46:14Speaker 1: Junior is good at this. Last week Pooh lost. Yeah,
- 46:18Speaker 1: the week before, the week before that, the week before that,
- 46:25Speaker 1: Pooh lost, and the week before that.
- 46:27Speaker 5: No, welcome to the Pooh's Wheel of Torture.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Whatever. Then people yell at me, why is Pooh losing?
- 46:37Speaker 1: I can't believe you're doing that to him. I'm like,
- 46:38Speaker 1: it's not my fault, and he can't figure out the trivia.
- 46:41Speaker 1: I just got some bad Look, folks, it's not Billy's.
- 46:44Speaker 2: And most of these are on the fifth grade level.
- 46:46Speaker 2: So it's like I'm just saying, okay, all right, are
- 46:51Speaker 2: we ready?
- 46:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 46:52Speaker 6: I think so?
- 46:53Speaker 5: All right?
- 46:54Speaker 1: Question number one, call out your name to ring in.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Here we go in the Wizard of Oz. What precious
- 47:01Speaker 2: gems are Dorothy slippers?
- 47:04Speaker 1: Oh? I heard Pooh. I don't know that was closed.
- 47:06Speaker 1: It might have been candas, but I can't tell ruby
- 47:10Speaker 1: red slippers.
- 47:11Speaker 2: That is correct? Okay, all right, here we go question
- 47:15Speaker 2: number two. What iconic Fort Worth venue in the stockyards
- 47:20Speaker 2: is famous for me? Oh, I heard Candas, Billy Bob? Correct?
- 47:26Speaker 2: All right, this one's gonna make you think. It's a
- 47:28Speaker 2: little math problem. Okay, it's fifth grade. Here we go.
- 47:33Speaker 2: If a dozen eggs cost three dollars, how much would
- 47:40Speaker 2: just four eggs cost?
- 47:43Speaker 6: Candace Candas one dollar?
- 47:45Speaker 2: Correct?
- 47:47Speaker 1: The eggs every day.
- 47:52Speaker 5: My brain just froze when that happened.
- 47:55Speaker 2: If you don't, there's three dollars for twelve. There's four groups,
- 47:58Speaker 2: three groups of four, so that there be a dollar.
- 48:02Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie.
- 48:02Speaker 5: I still don't get it.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Cannas got It's okay.
- 48:07Speaker 5: So Cannas has two?
- 48:08Speaker 1: I have one? Who has one? We have two questions left?
- 48:11Speaker 1: That's right.
- 48:12Speaker 5: I'm nervous.
- 48:13Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 48:14Speaker 2: What process do plants use to convert sunlight?
- 48:18Speaker 5: Man?
- 48:18Speaker 2: I think I heard poo.
- 48:20Speaker 1: That would be photosynthesis? That is correct, God that Mike
- 48:25Speaker 1: has never had more spin on it photo peanuts earlier.
- 48:32Speaker 1: My bad spray that Mica?
- 48:35Speaker 5: All right? So who has two?
- 48:37Speaker 1: Yes?
- 48:38Speaker 5: Canas has too much?
- 48:39Speaker 1: Lost?
- 48:39Speaker 5: I can't win, but do the question for fun?
- 48:43Speaker 2: All right, this is a good one. Finish the lyrics
- 48:47Speaker 2: you might want to listen to this. Don't try to
- 48:48Speaker 2: chime in. First, listen to the whole question. Finish the
- 48:51Speaker 2: lyrics from Burlison's own Kelly Clarkson. Since you've been gone,
- 48:55Speaker 2: I can breathe for the first time. What comes next?
- 48:59Speaker 2: Pooh pooh?
- 49:00Speaker 1: I'm still holding on?
- 49:02Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, what you were one word off? What
- 49:07Speaker 2: can go ahead?
- 49:09Speaker 6: I'm so moving on.
- 49:11Speaker 1: That's it, moving on, that's it. Candice is the winner.
- 49:15Speaker 1: It doesn't really matter who won because I lost.
- 49:20Speaker 5: I know. It's a big celebration.
- 49:22Speaker 1: When I look at how giddy he is those questions.
- 49:26Speaker 5: This week sucked. I'll do better, all right, I guess man.
- 49:34Speaker 1: I'm looking at the wheel right now. I gotta spin
- 49:37Speaker 1: the wheel. There's the stuff on it where kids floaties
- 49:42Speaker 1: weird and we gotta go to cocoa shrim today.
- 49:45Speaker 6: I know.
- 49:46Speaker 1: But let's not get it twisted. Yeah, there is still
- 49:49Speaker 1: things on the board. There's past the l.
- 49:51Speaker 6: Yeah, nobody's safe until it's done right.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Because if it goes to pass the L, I could
- 49:55Speaker 1: pass the punishment to Canvas or pooh, yeah, or it
- 49:59Speaker 1: could be bad and it could go to Cana's pick,
- 50:02Speaker 1: Candas's pick or Poo's pick or my pick. Let me
- 50:05Speaker 1: just spin the wheel right now, let's spin it because
- 50:08Speaker 1: we're gonna have to go on Instagram next and do
- 50:11Speaker 1: it live. Whatever it is at makes one on two
- 50:13Speaker 1: nine f M.
- 50:14Speaker 5: I hate this.
- 50:14Speaker 1: All right, I'm.
- 50:21Speaker 5: Come on, don't do this, don't do anything crazy.
- 50:24Speaker 1: No, no, no, it has landed on the Only Fans
- 50:38Speaker 1: foot challenge.
- 50:42Speaker 5: I don't even know what this means. What do I
- 50:44Speaker 5: have to do?
- 50:44Speaker 1: It means that I have to pretend I'm an only
- 50:46Speaker 1: Fans model doing a photo shoot with my feet.
- 50:49Speaker 5: This is the worst possible scenario.
- 50:51Speaker 6: I cannot believe.
- 50:53Speaker 5: Because I gotta be honest. I don't even know what
- 50:55Speaker 5: my feet look like right now.
- 50:57Speaker 6: I think we have whip cream?
- 50:59Speaker 5: What's in there?
- 51:02Speaker 1: There? There's mustard, whipped green mustard?
- 51:07Speaker 5: All right, just bring it out.
- 51:09Speaker 1: Let's tell is put rubbing it on my feet?
- 51:12Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 51:15Speaker 4: Top stories on the tents with Billy's the Kid in the.
- 51:17Speaker 7: Morning only on the New Mix one two point nine A.
- 51:21Speaker 1: Chance go to Disneyland and coming up next for summer.
- 51:23Speaker 1: We let's make it happen. Make sure you listen, Candice,
- 51:25Speaker 1: what is going on on a Friday?
- 51:27Speaker 6: Are we ready? For some football guys. The Cowboys gonna
- 51:30Speaker 6: play their first preseason game tomorrow night. I guess the
- 51:33Speaker 6: Seahawks at seven o'clock. We're not expecting to see much
- 51:36Speaker 6: out of our starters, mostly rookies, but yeah, I'll take
- 51:40Speaker 6: it anyway I can get some football on TV.
- 51:42Speaker 1: It just feels good to have on in the background,
- 51:43Speaker 1: even if it's preseason or no. Yeah, just like company,
- 51:46Speaker 1: there's something comforting about it. My son's got a scrimmage today.
- 51:49Speaker 6: Oh today.
- 51:49Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm gonna go to just started school.
- 51:52Speaker 5: High school football game. My son is playing today.
- 51:55Speaker 6: Wow, that's amazing freshman.
- 51:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's exciting. But yeh, high school fotball scrimmage.
- 52:01Speaker 1: I know, they just started a couple of days ago
- 52:02Speaker 1: and they're already scrimmaging.
- 52:03Speaker 6: Right, let's go.
- 52:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:05Speaker 6: By the way, though, the Cowboys are ranked the most
- 52:07Speaker 6: valuable NFL team for the seventh straight year, at a
- 52:10Speaker 6: value of fifteen point five billion dollars. That's up twenty
- 52:13Speaker 6: one percent from last year. After the Cowboys, it's the Rams, Giants,
- 52:18Speaker 6: at Patriots, and Jets.
- 52:20Speaker 1: So yeah, Chi Chang, Yeah, I mean I think this
- 52:22Speaker 1: is still the most franchise or most valuable franchise in
- 52:25Speaker 1: sports in the world.
- 52:26Speaker 5: The Cowboys.
- 52:27Speaker 6: Definitely, it's our year, guys. Let's go yeah, listen to
- 52:30Speaker 6: this The New York Times that just revealed the most
- 52:32Speaker 6: popular emoji in the world, and the results seem to
- 52:35Speaker 6: me people are doing a lot of crying. Crying emoji
- 52:39Speaker 6: number one. They're describing it as the loudly crying face.
- 52:43Speaker 6: So that's like the emoji with just like the tears
- 52:45Speaker 6: going straight down.
- 52:46Speaker 1: But that I used that a lot this week for
- 52:48Speaker 1: the first day of school.
- 52:50Speaker 6: Oh yeah, say first.
- 52:51Speaker 5: Day of high school.
- 52:52Speaker 1: It was like crying emoji, that crying emoji, like I'm
- 52:54Speaker 1: in tears. But that can also mean happy.
- 52:56Speaker 6: It can, Yeah, they say people not only use it
- 52:58Speaker 6: for crying, but also in something is so funny, emotional
- 53:01Speaker 6: or embarrassing you could cry. Then right behind that was
- 53:05Speaker 6: two laughing emojis, So the head tilted one, which I
- 53:08Speaker 6: guess is called rolling on the floor laughing, Yeah, I guess,
- 53:12Speaker 6: and then the normal laughing one. We're number two and three.
- 53:14Speaker 1: So there's so many emojis now I can't keep track.
- 53:17Speaker 1: Never right, I want to normalize sending stickers. Oh, you
- 53:20Speaker 1: know the stickers that you can make. Yeah, you kind
- 53:22Speaker 1: of use them as an emoji, like I have. Boo's
- 53:25Speaker 1: face is one of my studios.
- 53:27Speaker 6: I have a few of those that I've made.
- 53:28Speaker 5: Yeah, let's start using those. It's unique.
- 53:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:31Speaker 6: The actual fastest rising emoji was the rose that's drooping
- 53:34Speaker 6: over with the petals falling off. They say a lot
- 53:36Speaker 6: more people are using that this year than before. I
- 53:38Speaker 6: guess it's kind of replaced the broken heart emoji. Okay,
- 53:41Speaker 6: so yeah, if you see that, it's up and coming.
- 53:45Speaker 6: Let me tell you what Ella Langley says she may
- 53:47Speaker 6: never recover from. I guess. Matthew McConaughey was on The
- 53:51Speaker 6: Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and they did a cover
- 53:53Speaker 6: of her song choosing Texas Good Lord Bison by the way,
- 54:11Speaker 6: the folk indie band that playing with them.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Uh yeah.
- 54:15Speaker 6: Matthew McConaughey has a new movie out today, so he
- 54:17Speaker 6: was promoting that. But yeah, Ella saw the video and said,
- 54:20Speaker 6: I may never recover from this. Yeah. She's gonna be
- 54:23Speaker 6: in town this weekend at Dicky's Arena. So I hope
- 54:26Speaker 6: you have a good time.
- 54:27Speaker 5: You're going really so excited.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Not only am I going, but ZAN surprised me with
- 54:30Speaker 1: a mean greet.
- 54:32Speaker 5: So I get to meet Ella. Yay, I know I
- 54:34Speaker 5: don't know what to wear.
- 54:35Speaker 6: Yeah, your black shirt, black.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Jeans, and you know what, I might wear a suit? Yeah,
- 54:40Speaker 1: all right, why are you laughing?
- 54:42Speaker 5: Cannis wear our.
- 54:44Speaker 6: Clubs so she could see your feet.
- 54:45Speaker 5: Okay, goodbye, thank you.
- 54:46Speaker 6: Right, I'm Kandaslopez. Those are your Texas top stories. This
- 54:50Speaker 6: is Dirty Little Secret.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Little mixed one or two point nine or right if
- 54:56Speaker 1: you got one, let us know. It's Bailt the kid
- 54:58Speaker 1: can of Swell pants and producer poo. And it's time
- 55:00Speaker 1: to confess whatever you want to confess anytime you want
- 55:03Speaker 1: an eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine.
- 55:05Speaker 1: That's why we do Dirty Little Secret. It's all about
- 55:07Speaker 1: you and you get it off your chest. And you've
- 55:09Speaker 1: got a secret.
- 55:11Speaker 8: I sure do.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Okay, you don't sound very see you sound like you
- 55:15Speaker 1: could be very sweet and you have no secrets whatsoever.
- 55:18Speaker 1: But fun so far, she said, one word, I'm judging it. Yeah,
- 55:23Speaker 1: So what's going on?
- 55:24Speaker 8: Well, I actually kind of have a pretty big secret
- 55:27Speaker 8: that I've been keeping from my boyfriend. Okay, I have
- 55:31Speaker 8: a secret apartment.
- 55:33Speaker 5: You have a secret apartment?
- 55:36Speaker 8: What? Yeah, oh, for contact, okay, for contact. We've been
- 55:41Speaker 8: dating about eight months, and I mean, honestly, it's been
- 55:45Speaker 8: going really well. And a couple months ago he started
- 55:48Speaker 8: pushing for me to move into him because you know,
- 55:51Speaker 8: I'm there every night anyway, so what's the point of
- 55:54Speaker 8: paying rent anywhere else? And I mean, he's got a point,
- 55:59Speaker 8: like he's not wrong, but I've only lived with one
- 56:02Speaker 8: other boyfriend in my entire life and it ended horribly.
- 56:09Speaker 8: So we were living in this house. We broke up
- 56:12Speaker 8: and basically overnight I was told to get my stuff
- 56:15Speaker 8: and get out, and I remember feeling like it was horrible.
- 56:19Speaker 8: I felt so helpless because I was like basically homeless.
- 56:23Speaker 8: I didn't have a home, you know, and so I
- 56:27Speaker 8: don't know, I just promised myself I would never be
- 56:29Speaker 8: in that position again, you know, which makes sense? Smart, Yeah,
- 56:34Speaker 8: I feel like it makes sense. And so when my
- 56:36Speaker 8: current boyfriend asked me to move in, I agreed, and
- 56:41Speaker 8: he thinks my least ended in that I got rid
- 56:45Speaker 8: of my apartment and I told him I donated my
- 56:48Speaker 8: furniture because he already had everything in his house, which
- 56:52Speaker 8: I don't know, feels like just a white lie, right,
- 56:57Speaker 8: I didn't really don't ate anything. I ended up doing
- 57:00Speaker 8: my leaves for another year, and he has no idea what.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Really, So you're you're gonna pay for this apartment for
- 57:09Speaker 1: another year, but you're living with him because of just
- 57:13Speaker 1: in case, you're gonna pay.
- 57:15Speaker 6: Half rent wherever y'all are living together.
- 57:17Speaker 8: So fortunately I make really good money and I'm not
- 57:21Speaker 8: really paying rent his house. He owns it. He makes
- 57:24Speaker 8: good money, and so nothing financially changed for him when
- 57:28Speaker 8: I moved in. I make sure to like buy the
- 57:30Speaker 8: groceries and pay for like random stuff from the house,
- 57:34Speaker 8: so it's not like I'm taking advantage or anything, you know.
- 57:37Speaker 8: But yeah, I don't know. I just maybe this is crazy,
- 57:41Speaker 8: but I love still having my apartment.
- 57:45Speaker 1: So would you go there? Is it just empty or
- 57:48Speaker 1: what is going about? I guess you have your furniture,
- 57:50Speaker 1: like you said, you didn't donate.
- 57:51Speaker 6: It's I don't know.
- 57:55Speaker 8: It's like I just go there once or twice a week.
- 57:57Speaker 8: Sometimes I tell him I'm like running errand they're going
- 58:00Speaker 8: to the gym, and I really just go sit in
- 58:03Speaker 8: my apartment for.
- 58:05Speaker 1: And like, Still that is interesting to me, because you
- 58:09Speaker 1: know what, I think your intentions are good and it's
- 58:12Speaker 1: funny because I get I kind of get this. I've
- 58:15Speaker 1: been a guy who's you know, I've been single lately,
- 58:19Speaker 1: and I understand how much I really appreciate my time alone. Yeah,
- 58:23Speaker 1: you know, and that that is important. And sometimes it's
- 58:26Speaker 1: hard to explain to a partner though, that you need
- 58:28Speaker 1: that right without them feeling it.
- 58:30Speaker 6: They think you don't need them right, don't.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Care about them at all.
- 58:33Speaker 8: Yeah, it's quiet, it's mine and honestly, the best part
- 58:37Speaker 8: about it is it gives me security.
- 58:40Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, that makes sense.
- 58:42Speaker 9: So if something happens, you're Yeah, like if we get
- 58:45Speaker 9: in a huge fight tomorrow and he tells me to
- 58:46Speaker 9: get out, I don't have to call my parents.
- 58:48Speaker 8: I don't have to find a hotel. I don't have
- 58:50Speaker 8: to go beg somebody to let me stay with them.
- 58:52Speaker 8: I just grab my stuff I go home.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I mean, do you feel like, let me ask you
- 58:57Speaker 1: this though, do you feel like having that secure already,
- 59:00Speaker 1: of keeping this secret quote unquote secret apartment keeps you
- 59:04Speaker 1: less invested in the relationship or do you feel like,
- 59:07Speaker 1: you know what I mean, like you, I don't know.
- 59:09Speaker 1: I just feel like you're not one hundred percent committed Yeah, because.
- 59:11Speaker 3: You want to take a chance. If you're living with him,
- 59:13Speaker 3: you might as well go and go all in.
- 59:15Speaker 8: I know, yeah, I feel like that's the only thing
- 59:18Speaker 8: he thinks. I took this huge step and completely moved
- 59:21Speaker 8: in with him, and then in the back of my head,
- 59:24Speaker 8: I guess I've got like, I don't know, one foot
- 59:25Speaker 8: out the door. Does it feel like I really the
- 59:28Speaker 8: door a little bit?
- 59:29Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 59:30Speaker 1: Maybe, But also he doesn't understand too. And I know
- 59:32Speaker 1: he doesn't know right now, but that you've been burned before.
- 59:35Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's something that he has to take
- 59:38Speaker 1: into effect. But obviously I don't think he's gonna know
- 59:40Speaker 1: about this. If he does find out by chance, it's
- 59:42Speaker 1: gonna be weird.
- 59:43Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, that'll be completely insane if he finds out.
- 59:47Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 59:48Speaker 8: I don't feel like I'm planning for us to fail.
- 59:50Speaker 8: I feel like I'm protecting myself because I've already learned
- 59:53Speaker 8: this lesson the hard way once, so hopefully he'll understand.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:57Speaker 6: I also don't like when we're giving in to people
- 59:59Speaker 6: pressuring us to do things we really don't want to do.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: But it sounds like you kind of you wanted to
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: do it. You just wanted the security of having a
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: place of your own at the same time.
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: Okay, So, like you guys think I'm completely crazy or
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: some people might, but I feel like I'm smart for this, So.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna see what people think and we'll
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: go from there. But I mean, I get while you're
