- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:44Hi, Adam here. And on today's hypnosis session,
- 0:48you're going to be experiencing A hypnosis session that was
- 0:52created for a client where there was two different dynamics going
- 0:55on. One is that they were offered
- 0:58something and then that offer never materialized.
- 1:01And there was a feeling of an open loop that they could have
- 1:05missed out on something. But actually in the events
- 1:08following that, what it turned out is that they couldn't really
- 1:12rely on this person. So it's a reframe, in all
- 1:16honesty, it's turning a missed opportunity into a dodged
- 1:19bullet, a near miss. And this hypnosis session
- 1:24actually uses three different forms of traps, where in each
- 1:28case the bait for the trap is appealing, but it would have led
- 1:33to a very undesirable outcome. And that's the ultimate reframe
- 1:38is that knowing what you now know actually was as good as you
- 1:41thought it was going to be. And if not, well, then actually
- 1:44you've got the benefit of all of the wisdom and reconnaissance.
- 1:47From that. But without the consequences of
- 1:50having made that decision, which, knowing what you now
- 1:52know, you probably wouldn't have taken anyway.
- 1:55The second element is because part of them was emotionally
- 1:58invested in making a change, they lost a bit of their
- 2:02motivation and their enthusiasm for their core way of making an
- 2:06income, and they wanted that motivation that.
- 2:09Spring in their. Step back and their word for
- 2:13this is mojo. And I've heard this word before.
- 2:16I actually remember it from Austin Powers where he he loses
- 2:20his mojo and he has to go back in time to find it.
- 2:23But it's such a fun word, and it represents almost that kind of
- 2:27effervescence, that enthusiasm, that spring in the step that.
- 2:30Flow state. And that's why there's an
- 2:32element of that used in this, so that the client I was working
- 2:36with could reactivate that version of them, which was very
- 2:39competent, very accomplished. And they wanted to be able to
- 2:43get into that state where they were accomplishing and achieving
- 2:47again. Now, if you can relate to these
- 2:49things, either a psychological trap that you nearly fell into
- 2:53or you want to get some resource that you've had in the past back
- 2:56again, then you'll get some value from this session.
- 2:59Please be aware though that it was created for an individual
- 3:01and some of the suggestions would have been perfect for
- 3:04them, but may not be relevant for you because you're a
- 3:07different person. So if you like the idea of
- 3:09working with me for a bespoke session, there will be a link in
- 3:13the description where you can basically schedule a free
- 3:16consultation call. We can have a chat and we can
- 3:18explore whether or not I'm the right person to work with you.
- 3:21And there's also a suitability test in the description as well,
- 3:25so you can figure out if you would be a good candidate for
- 3:27hypnosis or not. So if that appeals to you, check
- 3:31that out. For now though, find a quiet,
- 3:34comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
- 3:36Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 4:14you breathe in, breathe in that resourceful feeling of calm and
- 4:19relaxation. And as you exhale, just allow
- 4:27any feelings of tension, stress, or worry to feel like it's
- 4:34leaving your body As you exhale, eyelids feeling heavier and more
- 4:41relaxed, enabling you to drift deeper and deeper.
- 4:51Relaxed. That's it.
- 5:00As your body relaxes, your imagination awakens, and I want
- 5:06you to use the power of your imagination to imagine a
- 5:12beautiful mansion. The house is impressive, full of
- 5:22luxury landscaped gardens, but also an impressive lake in the
- 5:33huge gardens, and I wonder if you can use the power of your
- 5:41imagination to imagine walking around.
- 5:48First of all, the house. Imagine you're on the top floor
- 5:54of this house, and imagine the sweeping marble staircase going
- 6:02all the way down to a large reception.
- 6:07But on the top floor, I want you to see a mousetrap.
- 6:17One of those mousetraps with a spring loaded mechanism that
- 6:25will crush the spine of any mouse that is convinced the
- 6:33cheese is delicious. And I want you to see the cheese
- 6:41on the mousetrap. And I want you to imagine that
- 6:46to a hungry mouse desperate to eat, the cheese is so desirable.
- 6:58So desirable, in fact, that they don't think that it might be
- 7:03connected to something that could cause their own
- 7:06destruction. And I want you to imagine
- 7:14walking down the staircase, but each step down the staircase
- 7:19takes you deeper and deeper. Relaxed walk out down from 5:00
- 7:27to 1:00 with each descending number.
- 7:29Just imagine walking down that impressive Marvel staircase
- 7:37representing you travelling deeper down to the subconscious
- 7:445. Walking down the staircase
- 7:46feeling more and more relaxed 4 Eyelids getting heavier and
- 7:51heavier 3. Jaw releasing any tension, two
- 7:57arms and legs getting limp, loose and heavy and one.
- 8:02That's it. Drifting down the staircase,
- 8:05feeling so relaxed that you're now now on the reception level
- 8:13of this impressive mansion. And I want you to get a sense
- 8:21then this mansion represents A desirable future.
- 8:33And I want you to see pictures on the wall of things that you
- 8:39would like in your future. But I want these pictures to
- 8:49turn into movies whenever you watch them, see yourself smiling
- 8:56and happy, travelling, perhaps playing with it, a baby or a
- 9:03small child. I want you to see yourself in
- 9:08these pictures that are moving, happy and fulfilled in your
- 9:13future. And then as you walk out into
- 9:21the gardens, I want you to imagine, imagine seeing a bear
- 9:30trap. You know the ones, those
- 9:36mechanical, aggressive looking metal teeth spring loaded and
- 9:46right in the middle is something that would be desirable to a
- 9:51bear. And maybe maybe this is meat or
- 10:00fish or even a big bunch of fruit that would be desirable.
- 10:13And again, think that to the bear this would be irresistible.
- 10:24But that irresistible thing comes with the price.
- 10:27And then walk over to the lake and see a fisherman putting a
- 10:39worm or a maggot on the end of a hook, casting the line into the
- 10:44lake. And from the fish perspective,
- 10:51maggot or worm looks so desirable, but if they were to
- 10:57eat it, the hook would get caught in their mouth and they
- 11:04would be reeled in. And I want you to think that the
- 11:10mouse that sees the cheese but doesn't eat it, and the bear
- 11:18that sees the meat or the salmon and chooses not to pursue it, or
- 11:25the fish that sees the wriggling worm but decides to swim away.
- 11:33They didn't lose anything. They avoided something
- 11:43undesirable. In every case, they dodged the
- 11:48bullet. They avoided the poisoned
- 11:52chalice. They escaped an undesirable
- 12:00fate. There is a part within you that
- 12:05recently has been feeling that you missed out.
- 12:10But I want you to think of that opportunity like the cheese or
- 12:16the salmon or the wriggling worm, because you don't know
- 12:25what that desirable thing was connected to.
- 12:29The moment your unconscious comes to the conclusion that you
- 12:34did indeed dodge the bullet, avoid drinking the poison
- 12:41chalice. It was a near miss.
- 12:44Let me know by nodding your head.
- 12:49And now you can draw a line under that thought. close that
- 12:53chapter because it's been like a parasite feeding on your
- 13:01cognitive energy. And all of that cognitive
- 13:05energy, thinking about what may have been and could be has come
- 13:11at a price. That's what took your mojo and
- 13:18now that you've drawn a line under this thought, decided that
- 13:24you were better off and you wouldn't want it anyway, I want
- 13:29you to imagine that the person connected with this offer then
- 13:39comes knocking, walking onto the grounds of this impressive
- 13:45property, saying hey, that thing is now available and I want you
- 13:50to feel empowered as you say sorry too late, not interested.
- 13:59And when you can feel good about turning something down that you
- 14:06once wanted, then you know you are free.
- 14:12And when you're free, all of those resources that have been
- 14:17utilized, thinking about this thing, you now have to deploy in
- 14:22a new area, a more rewarding area, something that enhances
- 14:29your life. And if you can feel what it
- 14:35would feel like to turn down that thing because you no longer
- 14:42want it, let me know. By nodding your head.
- 14:48That's it. And feel a sense of a weight
- 14:53being lifted off your shoulders. Feel that something is coming
- 15:02back to you and you found enthusiasm, energy or mojo.
- 15:09I want you to feel that something is coming back to give
- 15:12you a new lease of life, a new flow state.
- 15:22I want you to return to the mansion and go to the room which
- 15:27has your own private cinema. But this time you're seeing
- 15:33yourself over the next 3-4, five years with a new level of
- 15:40enthusiasm and intensity. See yourself breaking records,
- 15:48performing your very best and see that by doing that you are
- 15:56springboarding into the most desirable future possible for
- 16:01you. That all of that hard work,
- 16:06tenacity, resilience and determination is giving you new
- 16:14levels of financial freedom, new levels of opportunity, and new
- 16:20levels of personal pride. And if you can see that future
- 16:25version of you with your mojo back and more, let me know by
- 16:30nodding your head. That's in and then imagine
- 16:36stepping into the screen, into that version of you performing
- 16:41at your very best and just get a sense of what feels different.
- 16:49Maybe it's the clarity of your thinking, maybe it's the
- 16:53motivation levels, maybe it's tenacity, just the clarity of
- 17:00why what you're doing it all for.
- 17:05And I want you to leave that screen, but keep all those
- 17:08feelings with you, knowing that when you feel this way and think
- 17:14this way, doing your best work is just a cause and effect
- 17:21relationship. I want you to get a sense that
- 17:28over the next few days and weeks you will gain a new level of
- 17:33clarity as to what it takes to make a significant shift and
- 17:42move and change in your life. Maybe it's a certain amount of
- 17:47money, a new door opening. We need to get a sense that
- 17:56people that win the game start with the end in mind.
- 18:03They know what winning looks like and very soon you will
- 18:08figure out exactly what it will take to make that move.
- 18:16And sometimes with that new level of clarity, things that we
- 18:21think will take 10 years or five often take much less.
- 18:32There is a profound law, the law that says that the time you
- 18:37think you have to do something is the time that it will take.
- 18:42And the moment you realise some things can happen much quicker
- 18:46than you think, a self fulfilling prophecy allows that
- 18:50very thing to happen quicker. So ask yourself the question,
- 18:58what if this thing that may take 10 years or five happens in two?
- 19:05What would need to happen for that to be true?
- 19:09And give yourself permission to allow yourself to think of the
- 19:14possibility, knowing that thoughts precede actions and
- 19:21actions precede results. That if you can conceive it and
- 19:27believe it, then you are laying the very fertile soil for that
- 19:34very outcome to grow. I want you to get a sense that
- 19:40you are recalibrating, reawakening the version of you
- 19:46at your most motivated, successful and tenacious.
- 19:56But now it's time to leave this place.
- 19:59But you leave this place with two things different.
- 20:04Firstly, the feeling that you dodged a bullet, you avoided a
- 20:10trap, and secondly that you have reawakened the version of you
- 20:19that allows you to be your very best.
- 20:24So take a deep breath in through your nose.
- 20:28And out through your nose, wiggle your fingers and wiggle
- 20:33your toes. That's it.
- 20:35Connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I now count
- 20:39from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you starting to count 123 waking up
- 20:48456, more alert. 7-8. Open your eyes.
- 20:52Open your eyes 910 Wide awake, Wide awake.
- 20:57Wide awake. Thank you for listening to The
