  Speaker 1: wasn't God's plan for me, and what I had to

  Speaker 1: Instead of all the time going to God telling God

  Speaker 1: his plan is going to be better than the one

  Speaker 1: you had. But I didn't do that. I just didn't

  Speaker 1: what I wanted. And here was the dumber thing. Most

  Speaker 1: of the time, I didn't even go to God. I

  Speaker 1: just went after what I wanted. Somebody out there know

  Speaker 1: businesses that wasn't good for me, or I had to

  Speaker 1: learn the business. Hey, why did I think I should

  Speaker 1: own a carpet installation company? Why did I think that?

  Speaker 1: Why did I think I was actually gonna get rich

  Speaker 1: selling to Dick Gregory Bohemian diet? Why did I get

  Speaker 1: into amweight thinking this was my ticket? I'm gonna draw

  Speaker 1: these circles in these living room I'm gonna become a

  Speaker 1: direct diamond distributor. I'm'a be by, i'm'a be like Don

  Speaker 1: and Georgia hell, and I'm gonna have all these people

  Speaker 1: in Orlando following me, and I'm gonna get up and

  Speaker 1: give's speeches like Dexter Wansol and Bill Britt and Don

  Speaker 1: and Georgia Hall. I had all the motivational tapes, man,

  Speaker 1: I was listening to it all. I'm gonna be a

  Speaker 1: megastar Amway distributor. I didn't ask God one time if

  Speaker 1: that's what I should do. He just set there with

  Speaker 1: his arms fold hollering, laughing at me. If you want

  Speaker 1: to make God laugh, tell him your plan. The whole

  Speaker 1: time I was in them living rooms drawing them circles,

  Speaker 1: he had to be on the floor laughing or I

  Speaker 1: was good at it, though, because my real gift was

  Speaker 1: standing up in front of people entertaining. So my presentation

  Speaker 1: of circles, oh, man, I turned it into a routine.

  Speaker 1: I didn't even know it. I was the most captivating

  Speaker 1: circles better than Steve Harvey. I wasn't getting a lot

  Speaker 1: Then I forced some things in my life. I just

  Speaker 1: forced some relationships. I forced some stuff and aught none

  Speaker 1: of it worked until I stopped and started saying, Okay, God,

  Speaker 1: everything I do works. It don't. But that's what it

  Speaker 1: appears to other people. Somebody told me the other day, Man, Steve,

  Speaker 1: everything you touched turned the goal. Now I just started

  Speaker 1: touching what God telled me to touch. That's really the fact,

  Speaker 1: and it just looked like it. But I've made enough

  Speaker 1: mistakes to learn that. Talk to God today. Ask God
