Latest / Solomonster Sounds Off / AEW Revolution 2026 Review | Hangman Is DONE And RONDA ROUSEY Is A DEATH RIDER!?
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Oh my god, they get longer somehow they get longer. Yeah.
- 0:06Speaker 1: On the SoundOff earlier today, today, No, yesterday, Right, it's Sunday.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Now now it's Monday. I don't even know what fucking
- 0:13Speaker 1: day it is. But I said on the SoundOff, I said,
- 0:16Speaker 1: you know, Revolution has had some of the best matches
- 0:20Speaker 1: in AW history, right, I mean a history of having
- 0:23Speaker 1: these types of matches, whether it's the tag team title
- 0:26Speaker 1: match from twenty twenty, the Dog Collar match with MJF
- 0:30Speaker 1: and cmpunk Stings retirement, right, the Hollywood ending. I mentioned
- 0:37Speaker 1: all of these matches. I said, you know, this show
- 0:39Speaker 1: here tonight has some very big shoes to fill, and
- 0:44Speaker 1: there are gonna be people who watched that Texas Deathmatch tonight,
- 0:47Speaker 1: in the main event between MJF and Hangman Adam Page,
- 0:51Speaker 1: and want to put it in that same category. And
- 0:53Speaker 1: you would not be wrong. On mjf's thirtieth birthday, he
- 0:58Speaker 1: went out there and probably had the the most violent
- 1:01Speaker 1: Texas Death match that AAW has ever produced. And we've
- 1:04Speaker 1: seen a lot of violence and a lot of blood
- 1:06Speaker 1: and a lot of dumb shit that these guys have
- 1:09Speaker 1: done to one another in Texas Death matches before. So
- 1:13Speaker 1: tonight was no exception. It was a very violent match.
- 1:17Speaker 1: And if this was going to be the blowoff between
- 1:20Speaker 1: MJF and Hangman, the ultimate battle between two guys that
- 1:24Speaker 1: have been there since day one, really two og guys
- 1:27Speaker 1: in AAW, then it was a very appropriate match to
- 1:31Speaker 1: go out on. But I do have to point out
- 1:34Speaker 1: I think Brian Danielson said it best. You don't even
- 1:37Speaker 1: have to have me tell you this. This was something
- 1:39Speaker 1: that was literally said on commentary tonight during the pay
- 1:43Speaker 1: per view as the match was going on, Brian Danielson
- 1:47Speaker 1: was on commentary and he said that for all of
- 1:51Speaker 1: the Texas death matches that we have seen in AAW,
- 1:55Speaker 1: he would like to see a moratorium on Texas death
- 1:59Speaker 1: matches for a bit. And I can only hope that
- 2:03Speaker 1: Tony Kahan was on his headset in the back listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to what Brian Danielson was saying during the main event.
- 2:10Speaker 1: In his ear, He's a very wise man, is Brian Danielson.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I hope that Tony Khan takes his advice we should
- 2:20Speaker 1: have a moratorium on these matches for a while, because
- 2:24Speaker 1: I feel like we've seen so many of them that
- 2:27Speaker 1: after a while you do sort of I mean desensitized,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I guess, but I don't know. I think it sort
- 2:33Speaker 1: of lessens the appreciation for it when you get it
- 2:37Speaker 1: so often, there's a sameness to it. I think that
- 2:40Speaker 1: was the message he was trying to convey on commentary.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I wholeheartedly agree with Brian Danielson. Did the main event
- 2:49Speaker 1: need to go forty five minutes? It did not. I
- 2:52Speaker 1: think if you would have shaved fifteen minutes off that match,
- 2:54Speaker 1: it still could have been this epic, violent, brutal, bloody
- 2:58Speaker 1: affair and the greatest Texas death match in AW history,
- 3:02Speaker 1: which arguably it was even with the additional fifteen minutes.
- 3:06Speaker 1: But I don't think that match needed to go forty
- 3:08Speaker 1: five minutes. It just it kept going and there were
- 3:11Speaker 1: a lot of callbacks in the match. We had the syringe.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I've stated my piece on the syringe from the Hangman
- 3:20Speaker 1: and Sworeve cage match. They had it all out previously,
- 3:23Speaker 1: only this was worse. This was worse because we had
- 3:27Speaker 1: the syringe physically going through Hangman's cheek as he was
- 3:33Speaker 1: squirting out the water or whatever it was that was
- 3:35Speaker 1: in the syringe, and you could see it shooting out,
- 3:37Speaker 1: but the actual needle going through the cheek of Hangman Page,
- 3:42Speaker 1: so we had the callback to the syringe spot. We
- 3:45Speaker 1: had the dog collars, even though it wasn't a dog
- 3:49Speaker 1: collar match. We had Hangman bust out two dog collars
- 3:52Speaker 1: in the match, which when MJF saw them, he started
- 3:54Speaker 1: to have PTSD going back to his match with cmpunk
- 3:58Speaker 1: not this again, and he tried to get so I
- 4:01Speaker 1: thought that was a nice callback, even right down to
- 4:04Speaker 1: the finish of the match. MJF hanging hanging Hangman very
- 4:11Speaker 1: appropriate over the top rope with a chain by his
- 4:14Speaker 1: neck as he struggles and gasps for air the same
- 4:18Speaker 1: way that he beat John Moxley It all in to
- 4:20Speaker 1: win the AW World Championship is the exact way that
- 4:23Speaker 1: Hangman Page went down tonight to where he can now
- 4:27Speaker 1: no longer never again. Per the rules challenge for the
- 4:32Speaker 1: AW World title. That's what they claim. MJF beat him
- 4:37Speaker 1: fair and square. There was no fair and square. I
- 4:40Speaker 1: mean again, he used the dynamite diamond ring, he used
- 4:42Speaker 1: the belt all which is all legal by the way
- 4:46Speaker 1: in a Texas death match. But I mean in terms
- 4:48Speaker 1: of having somebody come out for the assist I thought
- 4:50Speaker 1: that we would see swerve pop up in this match,
- 4:53Speaker 1: I really did. There was no swerve. There was literally
- 4:56Speaker 1: there was no swerve in this match. It was two
- 4:58Speaker 1: guys who beat the holy fuck out of each other
- 5:02Speaker 1: for forty five minutes, and just when you thought, well,
- 5:05Speaker 1: that's gotta be it, right they would get back up
- 5:07Speaker 1: before the ten count, they literally went flying off the
- 5:10Speaker 1: stage and exploded. There was an explosion, There were flames,
- 5:15Speaker 1: there were sparks. They just went right down through an
- 5:18Speaker 1: announced table and everything just blew up and they no
- 5:21Speaker 1: sold an explosion. They got back to their feet and
- 5:25Speaker 1: the match continued. There was nothing left for these men
- 5:29Speaker 1: to do short of shooting each other in the head
- 5:31Speaker 1: with a gun. They did everything that you could possibly
- 5:35Speaker 1: do in a match like this. Skewers, barbed wire, change chairs, tables,
- 5:41Speaker 1: broken glass, explosions, syringes, dog collars, light tubes. I'm sure
- 5:47Speaker 1: I'm missing some stuff. They threw everything you could possibly
- 5:52Speaker 1: do with each other, buckets of blood all over the DNA,
- 5:56Speaker 1: all over the place. But when it was over, MJF stood.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Now what that means for the future of hangman Adam Page.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I don't know. We'll see where his story takes him.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Do I believe that he will never again challenge for
- 6:07Speaker 1: the aw World title, not for a second, but certainly
- 6:13Speaker 1: he won't be challenging for the championship for a while.
- 6:15Speaker 1: He's out of the picture now. And who MJF goes
- 6:19Speaker 1: on to next, we'll see, I mean, I would you
- 6:22Speaker 1: would think it would be Swerve, but Swerve is seemingly
- 6:26Speaker 1: going to be occupied with someone else who made their
- 6:29Speaker 1: return tonight. I will also point out to you the
- 6:31Speaker 1: main event ended at twelve thirty in the morning, so
- 6:35Speaker 1: five and a half hours of revolution from the moment
- 6:38Speaker 1: that the show started until the moment that the show concluded.
- 6:41Speaker 1: So I am fucking exhausted. I had more energy for
- 6:45Speaker 1: this three hours ago. I promise you I did, but
- 6:49Speaker 1: they just beat it out of me. Was a very
- 6:52Speaker 1: Newsworthy show, though, beyond the main event and the violence
- 6:56Speaker 1: and the gore and the implications of what it means
- 6:59Speaker 1: for hangmen, all that that was very important. But we
- 7:01Speaker 1: had the returns of Will Osprey, who went after John
- 7:05Speaker 1: Moxley and the Death Riders because they were the ones
- 7:09Speaker 1: who put him on the shelf last year. So will
- 7:12Speaker 1: Osprey is back. I know they've been teasing it, they've
- 7:14Speaker 1: been airing vignettes and everything. I still didn't expect him
- 7:17Speaker 1: back quite this soon, so that was a surprise, a
- 7:20Speaker 1: bit of a surprise to me, and getting physical no less.
- 7:24Speaker 1: So he's back. Kenny Omega is back. He made it
- 7:28Speaker 1: back from Japan and he came out to make the
- 7:31Speaker 1: save after the Swerve Strickland match with Brody King. So
- 7:34Speaker 1: obviously he wants revenge on Swerve for what Swerve did
- 7:37Speaker 1: to him, which is what I meant before when I
- 7:38Speaker 1: said Swerve you would think is next in line, but
- 7:42Speaker 1: maybe not, because Kenny Omega now is going to be
- 7:44Speaker 1: going after Swerve. So maybe that's the match in Vancouver
- 7:47Speaker 1: at Dynasty next month. And we had the returns of
- 7:50Speaker 1: Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, who came out to confront
- 7:54Speaker 1: the still tag team champions FTR after the match. And
- 8:00Speaker 1: what feels like something honestly that happened days ago, like
- 8:03Speaker 1: the stuff that happened at the beginning of the pay
- 8:05Speaker 1: per view tonight. It feels like ages ago. That's how
- 8:10Speaker 1: long this show was. And they had so many returns
- 8:14Speaker 1: on this show. I don't know why you couldn't save
- 8:18Speaker 1: one of them for Dynamite. You know what's Tony got
- 8:21Speaker 1: up his sleeve for Dynamite on Wednesday. He gave it
- 8:25Speaker 1: all away tonight. We had a lot of returns on
- 8:29Speaker 1: this show tonight. We also, I don't know if this
- 8:33Speaker 1: qualifies as a return. She technically did make an appearance
- 8:36Speaker 1: once for a Ring of honor Ronda Rowsey. She was
- 8:42Speaker 1: on the show tonight to call out timeless Tony Storm
- 8:47Speaker 1: after her match, and the two of them had to
- 8:49Speaker 1: be separated. And now, of all the people I was
- 8:51Speaker 1: expecting to potentially pop up on my TV tonight, Ronda
- 8:56Speaker 1: Rowsey was not one of those people. Especially given that
- 8:59Speaker 1: Ronda has this multimillion dollar MMA fight coming up in
- 9:03Speaker 1: two months with Gina Carano. I was not expecting her
- 9:07Speaker 1: to pop up in the middle of an AW pay
- 9:08Speaker 1: per view, but there she was. And also, we have
- 9:14Speaker 1: new women's tag team champions, which I think was a
- 9:16Speaker 1: foregone conclusion, and we have a new AW National champion.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Those were the two title changes on the show, one
- 9:24Speaker 1: of them happening on the pre show, which is where
- 9:27Speaker 1: I'm going to start here in a moment, because we're
- 9:30Speaker 1: going to get through this. This was a very long night.
- 9:34Speaker 1: It was a great show. It was a great show,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and the only kind of overall critique that I have
- 9:41Speaker 1: is about the length of the shows. He has no restraint,
- 9:44Speaker 1: He has no restraint. It actually is getting worse in
- 9:48Speaker 1: that regard. I don't like when we got to the
- 9:55Speaker 1: trios match with Darby Allen and Orange Cassidy and Rotterick
- 10:00Speaker 1: Strung Roderick Strong is coming out at eleven o'clock at
- 10:04Speaker 1: night to wrestle the dogs, Even the dogs, even the
- 10:10Speaker 1: dog if you have a dog at home, even your
- 10:12Speaker 1: dog is looking at you, going, what are you still
- 10:13Speaker 1: doing up? You walked me three hours ago. I saw
- 10:18Speaker 1: them coming out. I said, why is this match happening tonight?
- 10:21Speaker 1: Why is the main event not coming to the ring,
- 10:23Speaker 1: especially if they're going to go forty five minutes? Why
- 10:27Speaker 1: the fuck did that need to be on this show?
- 10:30Speaker 1: This is what I mean. So that was my only
- 10:33Speaker 1: real problem with the show. Otherwise, in terms of the
- 10:35Speaker 1: wrestling that we got on the show, of course it
- 10:37Speaker 1: was great. You look up and down the card. You
- 10:39Speaker 1: knew coming into this show, just look at it on paper.
- 10:43Speaker 1: You knew that you were going to get great wrestling
- 10:45Speaker 1: matches on this show, and buy and large those matches delivered.
- 10:49Speaker 1: So it was a hugely thumbs up show in that
- 10:52Speaker 1: regard iss Just again, time management on this show continues
- 10:54Speaker 1: to elude Tony Kahan. He's just he's incapable of it.
- 11:00Speaker 1: I don't know what else to say, but it's late.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Let's talk about Revolution twenty twenty six. Those of you
- 11:06Speaker 1: who are with me now, some of you have, some
- 11:10Speaker 1: of you have since hit the bed and the pillow.
- 11:13Speaker 1: But those of you who are still with me, I
- 11:15Speaker 1: thank you. Hit that like button and that subscribe button.
- 11:20Speaker 1: If you are not already subscribed here to the channel.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Super chats are open, and thank you for those of
- 11:25Speaker 1: you who have already tuned into episode nine fifty five
- 11:30Speaker 1: of the sound Off, which went up earlier today, well
- 11:33Speaker 1: yesterday again. I keep thinking it's Sunday. I'll never get
- 11:39Speaker 1: used to that. Let's spend the wheel real quick here,
- 11:42Speaker 1: because I don't want to waste too much time on this.
- 11:45Speaker 1: This is just these fucking pay per views. Yeah, it's
- 11:50Speaker 1: been a while since I've done a live aw pay
- 11:52Speaker 1: per view review, and this will be the last time
- 11:55Speaker 1: for a while, so I hope you enjoy it. Four
- 12:00Speaker 1: fifty should be easy enough, four hundred and fifty lives
- 12:04Speaker 1: for your to be the booker later on, that is
- 12:07Speaker 1: our goal for tonight. We had a few matches on
- 12:11Speaker 1: the zero hour pre show. We have Boom and Doom,
- 12:16Speaker 1: Big Boom, aj of the Costco guys with Qt Marshall.
- 12:20Speaker 1: They called themselves Boom and Doom. They had the Rizzler,
- 12:25Speaker 1: Big Justice, Aaron Solo in their corner, took on the
- 12:28Speaker 1: infantry Sean Dean, Carly Bravo with Shane Taylor, Tricia Dora
- 12:33Speaker 1: and Christian Xo, who is a gigantic woman. She is
- 12:38Speaker 1: six feet three inches used to play basketball. Yeah, no shit,
- 12:45Speaker 1: a big woman. They did nothing on TV to set
- 12:49Speaker 1: any of this up up until Ring of Honor this week.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I take it they had a segment on the R
- 12:54Speaker 1: eight show on Thursday. It was added as a crowd
- 12:57Speaker 1: pleasing pre show match. I mean that's basically how they
- 12:59Speaker 1: used Thesco guys and it usually gets over with the
- 13:03Speaker 1: live crowd. Wayne Brady was there. He wasn't choking anybody,
- 13:08Speaker 1: but yes, Wayne Brady was in the front row. Shane
- 13:11Speaker 1: Taylor got up at his face. He was daring him
- 13:13Speaker 1: to hit him, so Brady slapped him and Taylor pulled
- 13:17Speaker 1: him over the barricade. So now here comes the Rizzler,
- 13:22Speaker 1: who likes to touch his face. That's his gimmick. He
- 13:24Speaker 1: touches his face. So he comes over and he looks
- 13:27Speaker 1: up at Shane Taylor, who's taken shits that are bigger
- 13:31Speaker 1: than the Rizzler. And the Wrizzler is going like this
- 13:33Speaker 1: and he's touching his face and Shane Taylor shoves him
- 13:36Speaker 1: down to the ground. How old is the Wrizzler? I
- 13:40Speaker 1: don't know how old the Wrizzler is. He looks like
- 13:43Speaker 1: he's about seven years old. But he gets shoved down
- 13:47Speaker 1: to the ground. Are the Oscars still on? By the way,
- 13:52Speaker 1: did Dynamite outlast the Oscars? I wouldn't be surprised if
- 14:00Speaker 1: they did. So he got heat for shoving down the Rizzler,
- 14:06Speaker 1: and Big Justice comes sprinting over and he spears Shane
- 14:10Speaker 1: Taylor down to the ground. Yes, this is a thing
- 14:13Speaker 1: that really happened tonight. And anyway, Big who gives a
- 14:17Speaker 1: shit about the rest of this? Big Boom aj and
- 14:19Speaker 1: QT Marshall they won, and then everybody got in the ring,
- 14:22Speaker 1: including Wayne Brady and the Rizzler, and he touched himself
- 14:25Speaker 1: and that was that. So he had Willow Nightingale and
- 14:28Speaker 1: Lena Cross for the TBS Championship. Both women were pulling
- 14:32Speaker 1: double duty tonight. They had a women's tag team title
- 14:35Speaker 1: match later on in the show. The story here was
- 14:40Speaker 1: Lena was working over Willow's shoulder, which was going to
- 14:44Speaker 1: play a role later on in the show, so she
- 14:46Speaker 1: was really working that over. Lena looked good here. Again,
- 14:50Speaker 1: she's a very good wrestler. She wasn't winning anything though.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Willow retained the title off a backslide into a flash pin,
- 14:56Speaker 1: which is the same way she beat Persephone on Dynamite
- 14:59Speaker 1: on Wednesday. Guess this is one of her finishing moves now,
- 15:02Speaker 1: the backslide. So after the match, Meghan Bain came out,
- 15:06Speaker 1: two of them double team done Willow until Harley Cameron
- 15:09Speaker 1: ran out with a pipe and she cleared the ring.
- 15:14Speaker 1: We had a twenty one man Blackjack Battle Royal for
- 15:18Speaker 1: the AW National Championship. I would read you the list
- 15:22Speaker 1: of participants, but what's the point. The only names you
- 15:25Speaker 1: need to know really are Ricochet, Jack Perry, and Tamaso.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Champa was also in there. I did see someone now,
- 15:33Speaker 1: Dalton Castle was in there, and I did see someone
- 15:36Speaker 1: online mistake Dalton Castle for Hacksaw Jim Duggan, And now
- 15:43Speaker 1: I cannot unsee this. Now every time I see Dalton Castle,
- 15:47Speaker 1: I'm going to think Hacksaw Jim Duggin. So Jack Perry
- 15:53Speaker 1: was driven to the arena in a Jurassic Express bus
- 15:56Speaker 1: and the driver was the dinosaur Lucasaurus was back. Now
- 15:59Speaker 1: he had his arm in a sling and his arm
- 16:04Speaker 1: was wrapped because he's still hurt. But then Jack came off.
- 16:07Speaker 1: He was like a bus driver and Jack looked like
- 16:10Speaker 1: a little kid, you know, being dropped off at school.
- 16:12Speaker 1: And so he got off the bus and into the arena.
- 16:14Speaker 1: He went Bishop Kahn and Tota Leona. They came out
- 16:18Speaker 1: with Ricochet, but as they were not in the Battle Royal,
- 16:22Speaker 1: they were not allowed to come down to the ring
- 16:24Speaker 1: with him, and so they were sent to the back.
- 16:26Speaker 1: And this Battle Royal, where the objective is to toss the
- 16:30Speaker 1: other participants over the top rope to eliminate them. This
- 16:34Speaker 1: Battle Royal began outside the ring. They're all brawling outside there,
- 16:39Speaker 1: And for a moment I thought I had been transported
- 16:42Speaker 1: back to that one shitty reverse Battle Royal that Russo
- 16:45Speaker 1: came up with many years ago in TNA. Remember the
- 16:47Speaker 1: reverse Battle Royal. What a great idea that was. That's
- 16:51Speaker 1: basically what we had here at the beginning. We had
- 16:53Speaker 1: a reverse Battle Royal until finally everybody got in the ring,
- 16:58Speaker 1: and I should mention Leo Rush was one of the
- 17:00Speaker 1: people who was also in there. Now, I don't remember
- 17:02Speaker 1: the last time I saw Leo Rush on aw television,
- 17:05Speaker 1: but apparently he has been possessed by a demon. He
- 17:08Speaker 1: was crawling around on the Remember the movie Megan right
- 17:12Speaker 1: first one anyway with the doll, and there was that
- 17:16Speaker 1: one scene in the woods before she kills that kid,
- 17:18Speaker 1: knocks him onto the road to gets hit by a
- 17:20Speaker 1: car where she drops down on all fours and she's
- 17:22Speaker 1: very creepily like running around. That was Leo Rush in
- 17:26Speaker 1: this match, and he was making these weird demon sounds.
- 17:28Speaker 1: So apparently this is his new gimmick. Maybe Dan Housen
- 17:31Speaker 1: cursed him, I don't know. It was kind of fucking weird.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Late in the match, Daniel Garcia he ripped Commander's mask
- 17:38Speaker 1: off as he was struggling to hold himself up on
- 17:41Speaker 1: the ropes. He ripped the mask off and so Commander
- 17:44Speaker 1: had to let go and he was eliminated because he
- 17:46Speaker 1: had to protect his face and Daniel Garcia put the
- 17:49Speaker 1: mask on. Champa eliminated Garcia, and they did the deal
- 17:55Speaker 1: where the Battle Royal bled over into the beginning of
- 17:59Speaker 1: the pay per view, which they've done several times now,
- 18:04Speaker 1: and so the Pyro is shooting off on the stage.
- 18:08Speaker 1: The Battle Royal is still in progress, and it's it's
- 18:11Speaker 1: continuing here. It came down to Ricochet and Jack Perry.
- 18:15Speaker 1: After Tamaso Champa got eliminated. They wound up on the apron.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Ricochet ended up taking a reverse Rana poison rana on
- 18:24Speaker 1: the apron and he fell to the floor. And so
- 18:27Speaker 1: Jack Perry is the brand new aw National champion. And look,
- 18:32Speaker 1: the title changing hands at a Battle Royal, I think
- 18:34Speaker 1: is pretty fucking lame. But it's the national title, so
- 18:38Speaker 1: it's like, all right, whatever. Yeah, if they had done
- 18:41Speaker 1: that with the world title, that would be a different story,
- 18:44Speaker 1: but it's the national title, so who cares. And the
- 18:47Speaker 1: fans in the building, they were happy to see Jack
- 18:49Speaker 1: Perry win. His family was there, his sister, his mom, right,
- 18:52Speaker 1: he's from California, and they've had so many matches already
- 18:57Speaker 1: that I mean, I figured the title would change, but
- 19:00Speaker 1: probably in a singles match. They decided to change it
- 19:04Speaker 1: here in the Battle Royal, so again not really a
- 19:08Speaker 1: huge surprise. I had Ricochet winning, but I can't say
- 19:12Speaker 1: that Jack Perry winning is a huge shock given that
- 19:15Speaker 1: everything seemed to be building in that direction. Now they
- 19:19Speaker 1: started officially the main card with the aw Tag team
- 19:23Speaker 1: titles on the line, FTR defending against the Young Bucks
- 19:27Speaker 1: in their backyard. They had a video package on the
- 19:30Speaker 1: Bucks that was narrated by Matt Nick's kids, who also
- 19:35Speaker 1: came out with them for their entrance. So they came
- 19:38Speaker 1: down to the ring. I think it was their kids
- 19:40Speaker 1: and their brother, Malachi, the one who got beat up
- 19:42Speaker 1: by FTR a few weeks ago, was his kids also
- 19:46Speaker 1: and they all took a seat in the front row
- 19:47Speaker 1: with you, Papa Buck and all the other Bucks in
- 19:50Speaker 1: the front row, Uncle Buck, and they were bleeding within
- 19:55Speaker 1: the first five minutes of the match. So much for
- 19:58Speaker 1: Texas death op fucking match of the main car. We
- 20:01Speaker 1: already had blood in the first five minutes. Nick Jackson
- 20:04Speaker 1: was busted open, Dax Harwood got but I didn't see
- 20:07Speaker 1: how Dax got busted, but Dax Harwood got busted open.
- 20:11Speaker 1: At one point Matt Jackson. He was at ringside, I
- 20:15Speaker 1: presume with his son, you know they were. They were
- 20:18Speaker 1: head to head and his son is yelling words of
- 20:21Speaker 1: encouragement at him. Get back in there and fight them.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Get back in He's like, he's like a cheerleader for him.
- 20:27Speaker 1: So Dax took Matt over then to where uh the
- 20:31Speaker 1: Buck's brother, Malachi was the one who they gave a
- 20:34Speaker 1: spike pile driver to. Malachi splashed a drink in Dax's face.
- 20:39Speaker 1: When he turned around, here comes Cash Wheeler doing a
- 20:41Speaker 1: wild dive out to the floor, but he wiped out
- 20:44Speaker 1: his own partner and took out Dax. So the Bucks
- 20:49Speaker 1: went for a meltzer driver. Later when Stokely Hathaway miraculously,
- 20:54Speaker 1: it's a miracle, he rose from his wheelchair and and
- 21:00Speaker 1: he stopped them. So that brief distraction allowed FTR to
- 21:03Speaker 1: hit a shatter machine for a two count. They followed
- 21:07Speaker 1: with a spike pile driver on Nick for a three count.
- 21:11Speaker 1: His foot, though, was on the bottom rope. Rick Knox
- 21:13Speaker 1: did not notice it, but then he said, Okay, the
- 21:16Speaker 1: match is going to continue. FTR hit a bte trigger,
- 21:20Speaker 1: Nick kicked out at one and the crowd went nuts.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Matt saved his brother from a shatter machine. They hit
- 21:27Speaker 1: Hardwood with one of their own, and the Bucks hit
- 21:30Speaker 1: Hardwood with a BTE trigger and that only got a
- 21:33Speaker 1: near fall. So you know, again hitting all the big moves,
- 21:36Speaker 1: all the big kickouts, you know that you would expect here.
- 21:39Speaker 1: And in the end it was a melt driver on
- 21:43Speaker 1: Harwood who kicked out and Nick took an Avalanche shatter machine,
- 21:50Speaker 1: which ultimately led to FTR retaining the titles Still your
- 21:56Speaker 1: Tag Team Champions. Dax in Cash. Now, after the match
- 21:59Speaker 1: was over, FTR and Stokely they're celebrating when the lights
- 22:02Speaker 1: go out and we hear the music and outcomes Adam
- 22:08Speaker 1: Copeland and then we hear the music for Christian Cage,
- 22:12Speaker 1: but there is no Christian. Instead, Christian comes out of
- 22:15Speaker 1: the crowd behind them, and FTR doesn't realize this, and
- 22:19Speaker 1: Christian gets into the ring and he sprayed something in
- 22:22Speaker 1: Wheeler's eyes. I don't know what it was. Maybe he
- 22:24Speaker 1: maced them, maybe he did, I don't know, sprayed the
- 22:28Speaker 1: hair spray in his face, who knows, some toxic chemical.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Copeland flew in with a spear to Wheeler. DA's got
- 22:38Speaker 1: taken out Stokely is all by himself. He's all alone
- 22:43Speaker 1: in the ring, and he offered handshakes to both men. Cage,
- 22:45Speaker 1: they'll pull them in for a kill switch Cage and Copeland.
- 22:48Speaker 1: They picked up the tag team titles, and they were
- 22:51Speaker 1: staring down FTR, who were in the aisle. But then
- 22:54Speaker 1: the Bucks get back in the ring and they come
- 22:55Speaker 1: up from behind Cope and Christian and now they're having
- 22:58Speaker 1: a stare down, and then the two teams stare back
- 23:02Speaker 1: at FTR in the aisle, and that's how things close
- 23:05Speaker 1: out here. So maybe I would say this was probably
- 23:08Speaker 1: the best of all the matches that we have seen
- 23:11Speaker 1: with FTR and the Bucks. And they've had some great
- 23:13Speaker 1: matches before, so for this to be up there as
- 23:16Speaker 1: the top one that they've had, you know, it's a
- 23:19Speaker 1: pretty damn good match. It was just great tag team
- 23:23Speaker 1: professional wrestling with a hot crowd. They had some believable
- 23:26Speaker 1: near falls in there. All of the emphasis on the
- 23:30Speaker 1: Bucks family and their kids and everything, I thought for
- 23:32Speaker 1: sure the Bucks were taking the belts here. So I
- 23:36Speaker 1: was kind of surprised to see FTR win. I mean,
- 23:38Speaker 1: I shouldn't have been, because we always knew Cope and
- 23:41Speaker 1: Christian were coming back right, it was just a matter
- 23:43Speaker 1: of win, and we knew they were going after FTR.
- 23:47Speaker 1: But I just thought, well, maybe they're going to put
- 23:49Speaker 1: the belts on the Bucks and do cop and Christian
- 23:51Speaker 1: against FTR, not for the belts, and then if they
- 23:55Speaker 1: want to have Cope and Christian win the belts, they
- 23:56Speaker 1: could win them from somebody else. So they didn't go
- 24:00Speaker 1: in that direction because clearly they want Cope and Christian
- 24:02Speaker 1: to be challenging Dax and Cash for the tag Belts,
- 24:06Speaker 1: and that makes sense given what happened before, you know,
- 24:08Speaker 1: when they attack Copeland's wife, So they're going to reignite
- 24:13Speaker 1: that feud now. And the stare down with the Bucks
- 24:16Speaker 1: and Cope and Christian was very interesting. That's a match
- 24:20Speaker 1: that clearly is going to happen at some point. And
- 24:22Speaker 1: so the question I guess is do they win the
- 24:25Speaker 1: titles before the summer and do we then get Copeland
- 24:30Speaker 1: and Christian for the Belts defending against the Bucks with
- 24:33Speaker 1: the Bucks winning the belts from them at Wembley at
- 24:36Speaker 1: all in or do we get a three way match,
- 24:39Speaker 1: because it feels to me like, yo, why would you
- 24:41Speaker 1: leave FTR out of that? And maybe we get a
- 24:43Speaker 1: match with all three teams at Wembley for the tag belts,
- 24:46Speaker 1: but that seems to be kind of where we're headed here.
- 24:49Speaker 1: But those tag belts are going to end up around
- 24:51Speaker 1: Copeland and Christian's waste guaranteed. I'm not saying it's going
- 24:56Speaker 1: to be a long run, but they're going to get
- 24:57Speaker 1: their run with them. Tony conn I'm sure dying to
- 25:00Speaker 1: put his belts on the two of them and get
- 25:02Speaker 1: them in the lineage of those tag team titles. Timeless
- 25:09Speaker 1: Tony Storm against Marina Shafir. Everyone is banned from ringside.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Shaffir was dominant for most of this. Tony bit on
- 25:19Speaker 1: Marina's foot a couple of times. Now think about this.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Marina is out there barefoot, She's walking all through the arena,
- 25:28Speaker 1: She's walking through the crowd, all the sickos. Who knows
- 25:32Speaker 1: where those feet have been, and Tony is putting them
- 25:35Speaker 1: in her mouth. She's gonna have to get a tennis
- 25:38Speaker 1: shot now, Tony hit Storm zero. Marina though kicked out,
- 25:42Speaker 1: So Marina got mother's milk applied. Tony though bit down
- 25:47Speaker 1: on her breast. She wanted some of that milk. There
- 25:50Speaker 1: was a great way to counter out of the hole
- 25:52Speaker 1: because Marina just pushed her away after that. So Tony
- 25:56Speaker 1: then hooked her into the big package and she got
- 25:59Speaker 1: the pin in less than ten minutes. The perfect match
- 26:03Speaker 1: here to position in this spot, coming off a hot
- 26:06Speaker 1: tag team title match that opened the show, you want
- 26:08Speaker 1: to have a bit of a come down match. That's
- 26:10Speaker 1: basically what this was. But the bigger story is what
- 26:13Speaker 1: happened when the match was over. Tony Storm goes to
- 26:16Speaker 1: the stage and she lays down and she's posing and
- 26:19Speaker 1: doing snow angels and whatever it is that she does. Yeah,
- 26:25Speaker 1: there was a lot of biting tonight, wasn't there Biting
- 26:30Speaker 1: of bloody heads and feet and who knows what else.
- 26:37Speaker 1: It's a lot of weird shit on this fucking show.
- 26:40Speaker 1: But she's laying there on the stage and you could
- 26:42Speaker 1: hear a commotion from the crowd, and they cut back
- 26:44Speaker 1: to the ring and there's Ronda Rousey. She gets into
- 26:49Speaker 1: the ring and she's calling out Tony Storm, who sits
- 26:53Speaker 1: up and sees her in the ring and smiles and
- 26:56Speaker 1: says okay, And Tony marches back down to the ring,
- 26:59Speaker 1: and soon as she gets into the ring, here comes
- 27:01Speaker 1: just this swarm of referees and security to get into
- 27:07Speaker 1: the ring in between them. So Tony goes and sits
- 27:09Speaker 1: on the top turn buckle. Marina Shaffer sneaks back up
- 27:14Speaker 1: onto the apron and just sucker punches her right in
- 27:16Speaker 1: the face, and Tony just falls down to the match unconscious.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Rowsey and Shaffir they leave together. Of course, they've been
- 27:25Speaker 1: friends for a very long time. You know, the original
- 27:28Speaker 1: Four horse Women, it was Ronda Rousey, it was SHANEA. Besler,
- 27:32Speaker 1: it was Jessmine Duke, and it was Marina Shaffir, right,
- 27:35Speaker 1: all of whom at one time were signed by WWA.
- 27:39Speaker 1: So there's a relationship there with Tony or not Tony,
- 27:42Speaker 1: with the Ronda and Marina that goes back many years.
- 27:45Speaker 1: So they leave together. Mina Shirakawa comes out to go
- 27:48Speaker 1: check on Tony's storm. Well that was unexpected, I'll say
- 27:55Speaker 1: that much. I did not have my money on Ronda
- 27:58Speaker 1: rowsey appearance here on this show. You know, after the
- 28:02Speaker 1: announcement of that Netflix fight that she's going to be
- 28:05Speaker 1: having with Gina Carano. I will say, it's a nice
- 28:09Speaker 1: little coup because Ronda has been in the news. It's
- 28:13Speaker 1: a nice little coup for Tony Kahan to you know,
- 28:16Speaker 1: be able to bring her in for whatever it is
- 28:19Speaker 1: that he's bringing her in for. She basically felt like
- 28:22Speaker 1: an honorary member of the Death Riders because as the
- 28:25Speaker 1: two of them exited through the crowd, John Moxley, they
- 28:27Speaker 1: showed him in the back in like the tunnel with
- 28:30Speaker 1: the other members of the Death Riders and he was
- 28:32Speaker 1: getting ready, his music was playing, he was getting ready
- 28:34Speaker 1: to come after his match. So as he's making his
- 28:37Speaker 1: way into the crowd, he passes by Marina Shaffir and
- 28:43Speaker 1: Ronda Rousey and Marina smacks him in the face as
- 28:45Speaker 1: she always does, and Ronda gave him a smack too,
- 28:48Speaker 1: just to fire him up as he was going down
- 28:51Speaker 1: to the rink. So at least for one night, it
- 28:54Speaker 1: felt like Ronda was an honorary Death Writer. And oh
- 28:56Speaker 1: my god, Ronda Rousey and the Death Riders my two
- 29:00Speaker 1: favorite things. Oh boy, look, if Tony has got her
- 29:08Speaker 1: in for a one off match with Tony Storm, then fine,
- 29:15Speaker 1: it'll it'll be an attraction match, right, It's something because
- 29:18Speaker 1: I was wondering after she won the match, like, what's
- 29:21Speaker 1: next for Tony Storm? Are we gonna do Tony and
- 29:25Speaker 1: Tekla or like, what's the plan here? Because Tony Storm
- 29:28Speaker 1: is still one of the biggest stars they have, and
- 29:30Speaker 1: so maybe this is like a little side quest for her,
- 29:33Speaker 1: you know where Ronda's got this fight coming up. I
- 29:36Speaker 1: don't know how good the fight's gonna be. Ronda didn't
- 29:39Speaker 1: exactly look great in her last few fights, but the
- 29:41Speaker 1: fact that Ronda hasn't fought in ten years, it's gonna
- 29:44Speaker 1: be an attraction. You know, it's gonna get a lot
- 29:46Speaker 1: of attention, a lot of publicity when she gets in
- 29:48Speaker 1: there with Gina. Right the fight's coming up in May,
- 29:51Speaker 1: and so if some of that could rub off on
- 29:54Speaker 1: Tony Storm, and you know, it helps get them some publicity,
- 29:57Speaker 1: then hey, good for them. If it's a one off,
- 29:58Speaker 1: then that's fine. Because I have no no appetite desire
- 30:01Speaker 1: to see anything beyond that with Ronda Rowsei. I have
- 30:03Speaker 1: no interest in seeing Ronda Rowsey in an AW ring
- 30:05Speaker 1: for any sort of part time run, full time run.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I have no interest. I mean, I saw what she
- 30:13Speaker 1: was doing in her last run with WWE. Okay, I
- 30:16Speaker 1: have no interest in seeing Ronda Rowsey have a run
- 30:20Speaker 1: on the AW roster. And I don't think that's what
- 30:22Speaker 1: this is. Whatever this is, I don't think it's that.
- 30:26Speaker 1: So we'll see how often she's even around for I'm
- 30:29Speaker 1: not expecting her on television weekly or anything like that.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I think, honestly, this is probably more to do with, Hey,
- 30:36Speaker 1: this would be fun to do, and I got friends
- 30:38Speaker 1: who worked there, and let's use it as a way
- 30:41Speaker 1: to promote my Netflix fight. That's what I think this
- 30:44Speaker 1: is more than anything else. The only question is, like,
- 30:47Speaker 1: there's no way that she's doing a match before she
- 30:50Speaker 1: fights Gina. I mean that fights eight weeks away. She's
- 30:54Speaker 1: training right now for a fucking fight, and she hasn't
- 30:57Speaker 1: fought in a decade. She's not gonna be going off
- 30:59Speaker 1: in a month than doing a pro wrestling match. So
- 31:02Speaker 1: are we going to get a match? They certainly tease one.
- 31:06Speaker 1: If so, when does the match happen? Are they planning
- 31:09Speaker 1: for it later in the summer? Is this a fucking
- 31:11Speaker 1: Wembley match at all? In I don't know. I don't
- 31:13Speaker 1: know what we're looking at here, But as long as
- 31:16Speaker 1: whatever they do with Ronda is kept very limited, then hey,
- 31:23Speaker 1: do what you gotta do, get some publicity out of it,
- 31:27Speaker 1: and then move on. Because I really don't have any
- 31:30Speaker 1: great desire to see any more than that. And it's
- 31:32Speaker 1: not like they need help with their women's division. Their
- 31:34Speaker 1: women's division right now is very strong. They're in a
- 31:37Speaker 1: good spot right now when it comes to the female
- 31:40Speaker 1: talent that they have under contract. They are surging when
- 31:44Speaker 1: it comes to their women's division in a way that
- 31:46Speaker 1: they weren't before. So it's not like Ronda really brings
- 31:50Speaker 1: anything to the table as far as that goes, that
- 31:52Speaker 1: they absolutely need right now. She's an attraction, She'll be
- 31:57Speaker 1: good in a limited period of time time and then
- 32:00Speaker 1: you just move on. By the way, they did announce
- 32:05Speaker 1: we're getting another match between Tony Storm and Marina Shaffir
- 32:09Speaker 1: for Dynamite this Wednesday, only this time it is going
- 32:12Speaker 1: to be no holds barred. Tony won the match tonight
- 32:17Speaker 1: fair and square, but apparently we're getting another one. We'll
- 32:20Speaker 1: see if Ronda shows up. We had John Moxley against
- 32:24Speaker 1: Kenoski Takeshta for the Continental Championship no time limit. Unlike
- 32:29Speaker 1: their match in Australia last month which went twenty minutes
- 32:32Speaker 1: time limit draw, no time limit here, this was the
- 32:36Speaker 1: match of the night, at least up until this point.
- 32:39Speaker 1: It was the match of the night. Both men went
- 32:42Speaker 1: to the apron where Takashta missed a Falcon arrow at
- 32:45Speaker 1: one point as Moxley countered into a curb stomp on
- 32:48Speaker 1: the apron and Takashta came up bleeding from the left
- 32:52Speaker 1: eye more blood. There was a Gotch style pile driver
- 32:57Speaker 1: in here by Moxley. Takashta kicked out Takesha one up
- 33:01Speaker 1: top and he was biting. Somebody mentioned biting. Here we go.
- 33:05Speaker 1: He was biting at Moxley before delivering an Avalanche exploder
- 33:10Speaker 1: hit the power drive knee only for a two count.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Takesha wanted the raging fire. Moxley, though, hit a desperation
- 33:16Speaker 1: cutter and Takesha just rose right up. Big pop from
- 33:21Speaker 1: the crowd. Takesha floated over a death Rider into the
- 33:24Speaker 1: raging fire and Moxley barely kicked out. I believe the
- 33:28Speaker 1: first man to ever do so. Takesha wanted a power
- 33:33Speaker 1: drive knee. His leg gave out, though, and that allowed
- 33:36Speaker 1: Moxley to hit a death Rider for two. Crowd was
- 33:40Speaker 1: super hot for this. Quickly up to the corner, Moxley
- 33:44Speaker 1: connects with an Avalanche death Rider and again Takeshta somehow
- 33:48Speaker 1: kicked out, so the fans are losing their minds. Moxley
- 33:51Speaker 1: tries for a rear naked choke to kesh To fights
- 33:53Speaker 1: it off, and he's flipping Moxley off even though he's,
- 33:57Speaker 1: you know, in this choke, he's got no way to go.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Moxley traps the arm, sinks in the choke and Takeshta
- 34:05Speaker 1: goes ninety night, which I will be doing here in
- 34:07Speaker 1: just a few minutes, and John Moxley retains the Continental Championship.
- 34:12Speaker 1: After the match, the death riders all but Claudio. I
- 34:15Speaker 1: don't think Claudio was there, but they come to ringside.
- 34:18Speaker 1: They're applauding Moxley, who offers a handshake to Takeshta, and
- 34:22Speaker 1: Takeshta went to go leave like he wasn't going to
- 34:24Speaker 1: accept it, but he stopped. He thought better of it,
- 34:27Speaker 1: came back in shook hands with Moxley, so they pay
- 34:30Speaker 1: respect to each other. This was an incredible battle. I
- 34:35Speaker 1: may disagree with the finish, but I can't deny that
- 34:39Speaker 1: it was an incredible match. Fans got louder with each
- 34:42Speaker 1: successive near fall. Now I said earlier on the sound
- 34:46Speaker 1: off that this goes one of two ways. The way
- 34:51Speaker 1: that I was hoping is Takeshta wins the championship, and
- 34:55Speaker 1: then you just build to a match with Okada probably
- 34:58Speaker 1: and Wembley, but whenever it could be anything could be Dynasty,
- 35:01Speaker 1: he could be Double or nothing. Doesn't have to be Wembley.
- 35:03Speaker 1: But you build to the eventual match and they both
- 35:06Speaker 1: put their respective belts on the line and you unify them.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Whoever wins, which should be Takeshta or Takesha loses, but
- 35:14Speaker 1: by losing it results in him being kicked out of
- 35:18Speaker 1: the don Kallis family. The fans were already cheering for
- 35:22Speaker 1: this guy. I mean, they love him even though it's
- 35:23Speaker 1: a heel faction, so they're dying to really cheer for
- 35:29Speaker 1: him against the Callous family. It's only a matter of
- 35:31Speaker 1: time before he either quits or he gets kicked out,
- 35:35Speaker 1: So him losing could have and still might necessitate the
- 35:40Speaker 1: don Kallus family kicking him out and saying he can't
- 35:43Speaker 1: get the job done, he's a loser. Okata gets in
- 35:46Speaker 1: Callous's ear. You gotta get rid of this guy. He's
- 35:48Speaker 1: a weak link, and they boot him out, and it
- 35:52Speaker 1: seems like that may be the direction that we're going
- 35:54Speaker 1: in here, especially after that handshake, I think him going
- 35:57Speaker 1: back and shaking hands with Moxley. We better get a
- 36:01Speaker 1: segment on Dynamite. You know. Sometimes they'll do this shit
- 36:04Speaker 1: and then they let weeks go by, Like there needs
- 36:07Speaker 1: to be something on Dynamite this Wednesday on that post
- 36:10Speaker 1: revolution show to follow up on what we saw here,
- 36:14Speaker 1: some kind of family meeting in the ring or something,
- 36:19Speaker 1: and I want to see some interaction with him and Okada.
- 36:22Speaker 1: That's what I'd like to see coming out of this.
- 36:26Speaker 1: But again, the fans love the guy, so they're just
- 36:28Speaker 1: they're dying for him to pull the trigger and get
- 36:32Speaker 1: the hell out of this group. But we weren't done yet.
- 36:36Speaker 1: That was the end of the Taqeshta portion of things. Moxlay.
- 36:39Speaker 1: He goes to leave through the crowd with Pack and
- 36:42Speaker 1: Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuda, and the lights go out
- 36:46Speaker 1: and we got a very corny video. It's like something
- 36:51Speaker 1: out of a horror movie. We got a video of
- 36:56Speaker 1: a doctor who was tending to someone who looks like
- 37:00Speaker 1: they're standing in a tank and he awakens like some
- 37:06Speaker 1: great sea monster, and the monster turned out to be
- 37:11Speaker 1: will Ospray. Then they cut back to the arena and
- 37:14Speaker 1: they play his music. They could have just played his
- 37:16Speaker 1: fucking music. Did we really didn't need this bullshit. The
- 37:20Speaker 1: lights go out, you hear elevation or elevates whatever, and
- 37:24Speaker 1: then out comes will Ospray. So they did play his music.
- 37:28Speaker 1: And he comes out and he's back, and he rips
- 37:32Speaker 1: his shirt off, and he looks like he's in great shape.
- 37:35Speaker 1: And he sprints to the ring and he blasts Moxley,
- 37:39Speaker 1: who had gotten back into the ring. He blasts him
- 37:41Speaker 1: with a hidden blade and the death Riders swarm him.
- 37:45Speaker 1: He fights them off with a double handspring pelee kick.
- 37:51Speaker 1: That's to Youyda and Pack okay, and then another hidden
- 37:54Speaker 1: blade to Daniel Garcia, and then he hits a sky
- 37:57Speaker 1: twister press onto the pile outside the ring. This man
- 38:04Speaker 1: just came back, literally, this is his comeback appearance from
- 38:08Speaker 1: major neck surgery, and this fucking guy is out there
- 38:12Speaker 1: doing a sky twister press on his first night back.
- 38:19Speaker 1: I certainly hope he is one hundred percent back in
- 38:22Speaker 1: tip top shape here, not partially cleared if he's already
- 38:27Speaker 1: out there doing will Osprey stuff, But in any event,
- 38:32Speaker 1: back inside, he tried for something on Moxley who escaped
- 38:36Speaker 1: to booze from the crowd. So you know, from top
- 38:39Speaker 1: heel in the company to beloved babyface and now back
- 38:44Speaker 1: to being a heel. This this arc for John Moxley
- 38:48Speaker 1: is very weird, very very weird, but it's very clear
- 38:53Speaker 1: the story is Osprey looking to seek revenge on Moxley
- 38:56Speaker 1: and the Death Riders for putting him out of action.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I mean, storyline wise, it makes sense. You know, they're
- 39:00Speaker 1: the ones who put him on the shelf, They're the
- 39:02Speaker 1: ones who caused him to have a neck injury. Why
- 39:05Speaker 1: wouldn't he want to go after them as soon as
- 39:06Speaker 1: he comes back. So that's his target now. An ex
- 39:11Speaker 1: caliber on commentary said, Moxley has worked his way into
- 39:14Speaker 1: the hearts of the fans, but he still has some
- 39:18Speaker 1: crimes of the past to pay for. Indeed, he does
- 39:23Speaker 1: not all of his old sins have been forgiven. So
- 39:29Speaker 1: it looks like Osprey is gonna be challenging soon enough
- 39:32Speaker 1: for the Continental title. Maybe he's the one. I mean,
- 39:35Speaker 1: if they're going to have him against Moxley, then it
- 39:38Speaker 1: seems pretty clear to me that he's gonna end up
- 39:40Speaker 1: with that championship because for all the people that Moxley
- 39:43Speaker 1: now has beaten, including Takashta. If you're gonna have him
- 39:47Speaker 1: in a feud with well Osprey and the two of
- 39:49Speaker 1: them are gonna go out there and have a continental
- 39:50Speaker 1: title match and he beats Ospray, what is the end
- 39:54Speaker 1: game here, Like, what is the end goal for Moxley
- 39:56Speaker 1: in that title if he just beats Osprey and moves
- 40:00Speaker 1: on to who exactly? Right? So it seems like that's
- 40:04Speaker 1: they're looking I think at will Osprey fighting for that
- 40:07Speaker 1: championship in lieu of him going after the world title
- 40:10Speaker 1: at Wembley this year, and I was wondering if they
- 40:13Speaker 1: were going to hold off on that. It all depended
- 40:16Speaker 1: on when he was back. But with all these videos
- 40:18Speaker 1: they've been airing, it seem pretty clear he was going
- 40:20Speaker 1: to be back at some point in the spring. But
- 40:22Speaker 1: I don't know that they want to just vault him
- 40:24Speaker 1: right into the Owen and he wins the Owen and
- 40:27Speaker 1: he gets a world title match, you know, at Wembley.
- 40:31Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean after tonight, it doesn't feel
- 40:33Speaker 1: to me like that's the the likely direction here, But
- 40:38Speaker 1: it's early yet. They could do a match with him
- 40:42Speaker 1: in Moxley a Dynasty and by the time the Owen
- 40:45Speaker 1: rolls around, they've already feuded and it's over. And then
- 40:49Speaker 1: he goes on to you know, compete in the Owen,
- 40:52Speaker 1: and who knows, he may still win the whole thing.
- 40:54Speaker 1: But having will Osprey back is a good thing. Having
- 40:58Speaker 1: him back on the active roster is a big plus
- 41:00Speaker 1: for Tony Kah. It's another bullet in the chamber. Hopefully
- 41:03Speaker 1: Samoa Joe is due back soon as well. I think
- 41:06Speaker 1: the Hurt Syndicate they should be back on television any
- 41:09Speaker 1: week now. I think Bobby Lashley is all healed up
- 41:11Speaker 1: from whatever it was that he was going through. I
- 41:13Speaker 1: don't know what the fuck is going on with Jay White,
- 41:16Speaker 1: but it's good for them to get some of these
- 41:18Speaker 1: names back. We had the Babes of Wrath defending the
- 41:23Speaker 1: aw women's tag team titles against the Divine Dominion Megan
- 41:28Speaker 1: Bain and Lena Cross. In the back. Before the match,
- 41:32Speaker 1: Renee asked Willow if she's been cleared to work with
- 41:36Speaker 1: the bad shoulder, and Willow said that she was, but
- 41:40Speaker 1: she was clearly still hurting. So right at the bell,
- 41:45Speaker 1: Cross in Bain they launched Willow's shoulder first into the
- 41:47Speaker 1: ring post. She did manage to recover. Eventually, she made
- 41:51Speaker 1: a hot tag with the one arm pounce sent Baine
- 41:55Speaker 1: to the outside. She spiked Lena with a DVD. Later on,
- 41:59Speaker 1: Willows spun out of a jackhammer into a backslide, same
- 42:02Speaker 1: way that she won on the pre show, but this
- 42:04Speaker 1: time only got two baining Cross. For the finish, they
- 42:08Speaker 1: hit a lifting It wasn't really a choke slam. It
- 42:11Speaker 1: kind of grabbed her under the arm and lifted Willow
- 42:15Speaker 1: up into the air and slammed her down hard and
- 42:18Speaker 1: lean across. Lost to her on the pre show, covered
- 42:22Speaker 1: Willow on the main card and pinned her to win
- 42:26Speaker 1: the tag team titles for the Divine Dominion, and honest
- 42:31Speaker 1: to God, my first thought when the match was over
- 42:34Speaker 1: was poor Penelope Forward. What must she be thinking watching
- 42:39Speaker 1: this at home? That should have been her. They were
- 42:44Speaker 1: gonna win those tag team titles her and Megan Bain
- 42:47Speaker 1: and she lost her spot and evidently, based on what
- 42:51Speaker 1: Tony Kah said last week her her ankle injury. He
- 42:54Speaker 1: never said if it's broken or a bad sprain, it
- 42:58Speaker 1: could just be a really bad but he was talking like, yeah,
- 43:01Speaker 1: her injury is gonna keep her out longer than we thought,
- 43:04Speaker 1: so she's not gonna be back for a while. But
- 43:07Speaker 1: she's watching this going. Man, I just can't catch a break.
- 43:10Speaker 1: And I gotta tell you, Like, I'm watching Meghan Ban
- 43:12Speaker 1: and Leana Cross out there right two you know, tall
- 43:16Speaker 1: women on the roster, they walk out there. They look
- 43:19Speaker 1: to me, it's like the female version of the Skyscrapers.
- 43:23Speaker 1: I'm like, this team works so much better than Meghan
- 43:27Speaker 1: Bin and Penelope Ford did. Like you just look at
- 43:30Speaker 1: them and they look like a formidable team. And now
- 43:33Speaker 1: they're the tag team champions, So hey, long may they rain.
- 43:37Speaker 1: It seemed pretty clear this was gonna be the outcome,
- 43:39Speaker 1: especially after Willow won on the pre show. It's like,
- 43:42Speaker 1: what are you gonna do? Are you gonna have lean
- 43:44Speaker 1: across lose to a backslide on the pre show and
- 43:47Speaker 1: then send them out there on the main car to
- 43:48Speaker 1: lose again? Yeah, if your fucking brain dead, you would
- 43:51Speaker 1: do that. So it seemed pretty clear we were gonna
- 43:53Speaker 1: get new champions here, and deservedly so. Swarp Strictly one
- 44:01Speaker 1: on one with Brody King Brian Danielson at this point
- 44:05Speaker 1: subbed in for Nigel McGinnis on commentary so for the
- 44:09Speaker 1: remainder of the show, we had Danielson ex Caliber and
- 44:12Speaker 1: Tony Schavani. Swerve went after the right hand. If you
- 44:18Speaker 1: remember the angle they did on the Go Home Dynamite
- 44:20Speaker 1: this past week where he he snapped the bad wrist
- 44:24Speaker 1: of Brody King over the rope, he went after the wrist.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Strickland exposed the bottom turn buckle, tried to curb stomp
- 44:32Speaker 1: him onto it. Brody avoided that and he set Swerve
- 44:36Speaker 1: up against the exposed bottom buckle. He connected on his
- 44:39Speaker 1: running cannon ball, so he got that hanging sleeper on
- 44:42Speaker 1: Swerve over the apron and Swerve went out and he
- 44:45Speaker 1: just kind of crumbled to the floor. So King went
- 44:49Speaker 1: out after him. He was looking for a gonzo bomb.
- 44:52Speaker 1: The patting outside of the ring had been pulled up,
- 44:56Speaker 1: so he had the exposed concrete there just outside of
- 44:59Speaker 1: the ring. He was going to give him a gonzo
- 45:00Speaker 1: bomb on the concrete. Strickland escaped and he followed with
- 45:04Speaker 1: a vertebreaker. He gave Brody King a vertebraker on the
- 45:09Speaker 1: concrete outside the ring, so King barely broke the count
- 45:14Speaker 1: back inside, but when he got back in, he rolled
- 45:17Speaker 1: right into a curb stomp, but he kicked out at one.
- 45:23Speaker 1: He no sold multiple house call kicks in addition to
- 45:27Speaker 1: a vertebraker on the exposed concrete. Did I mention that,
- 45:31Speaker 1: so he no sold some house call kicks. He would
- 45:33Speaker 1: not give in until Swerve finally connected with a third kick,
- 45:38Speaker 1: and with that he got the win. After the match,
- 45:41Speaker 1: Strickland ordered Prince Nanau to go grab a cinder block
- 45:45Speaker 1: from under the ring and bring it inside, which he did,
- 45:47Speaker 1: and they placed Brody's face down on it the or
- 45:51Speaker 1: his head. He was going to give him a curb
- 45:53Speaker 1: stomp onto the cinder block when Kenny Omega's music hits.
- 45:59Speaker 1: He made it back from Japan. He did all of
- 46:02Speaker 1: his capcom duties, and now he's back and he rushes
- 46:06Speaker 1: to the ring to make the save, and Omega helped
- 46:08Speaker 1: Brody to his feet, not on Strickland. They retreated up
- 46:11Speaker 1: the ramp. I thought that this was a good brutal brawl.
- 46:16Speaker 1: They found a way to be violent without being overly
- 46:20Speaker 1: violent or bloody because we had a Texas death match
- 46:25Speaker 1: coming up in the main event. Would have been nice
- 46:28Speaker 1: if other people on this show would have heeded the
- 46:30Speaker 1: same thing and would have left that to the Texas
- 46:33Speaker 1: Death Match, but other other wrestlers have other ideas. But
- 46:38Speaker 1: it was a match with an obvious outcome under no
- 46:41Speaker 1: circumstances should swerve. Strickland have been losing this match, right,
- 46:46Speaker 1: he had to win this match. They kept Brody looking
- 46:49Speaker 1: strong in defeat, hence all the house call kicks and
- 46:53Speaker 1: everything he was kicking out of but in the end,
- 46:54Speaker 1: the right person won. I gotta say though, they got
- 46:57Speaker 1: to be They got to do better on communication here.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I don't know how they do it as far as
- 47:01Speaker 1: agent ing backstage. If they have a system similar to
- 47:04Speaker 1: WWE in terms of how you know it operates, I'm
- 47:08Speaker 1: not there, so I'm not sure. But all of these
- 47:13Speaker 1: strong style kickouts at one like, we had at least
- 47:16Speaker 1: three or four of them, maybe more, at least three
- 47:19Speaker 1: or four times in different matches on this show. The
- 47:22Speaker 1: kickout at one spot, Yeah, it's one thing, like we
- 47:25Speaker 1: have blood in multiple matches and this and multiple match
- 47:28Speaker 1: but like something like that, you shouldn't be doing that three,
- 47:31Speaker 1: four or five times on the same show. You would
- 47:34Speaker 1: think that there would be some communication between some of
- 47:36Speaker 1: these parties here, but evidently that's not the case. I
- 47:38Speaker 1: think that's something that they should do a better job of.
- 47:41Speaker 1: I just don't think that that's something that should be
- 47:43Speaker 1: seen repeatedly, over and over and over again. And we're
- 47:46Speaker 1: barely halfway into this fucking show. We've already had it
- 47:49Speaker 1: three or four times. I mean, I know the fans
- 47:52Speaker 1: popped for it, but do we need it in every match?
- 47:56Speaker 1: So the fans were happy to see Kenny. Think it
- 48:00Speaker 1: would have meant more if we didn't have so many
- 48:02Speaker 1: returns on the same show, right, we had Kenny Omega,
- 48:07Speaker 1: and we had Copeland and Christian and we I mean,
- 48:10Speaker 1: we had will Osprey. I think it was overload. I
- 48:15Speaker 1: think they probably would have been better off saving one
- 48:18Speaker 1: of these for TV on Wednesday. Who knows, maybe somebody
- 48:21Speaker 1: else will return on Wednesday, maybe j White, maybe Switchblade
- 48:25Speaker 1: will return on Wednesday. I don't know. But it's good
- 48:29Speaker 1: to have you know, Omega back now so that we
- 48:31Speaker 1: can set up for Omega and Swerve. I mean, that
- 48:33Speaker 1: would seem to me to be the match for Vancouver
- 48:35Speaker 1: next month. I don't know who MJF defends against if
- 48:39Speaker 1: it's not against Swerve on that pay per view, but
- 48:43Speaker 1: we got to get a rematch between Kenny and Swerve.
- 48:47Speaker 1: We had Tecla against Chris Statlander for the aw Women's
- 48:50Speaker 1: World Championship best two out of three falls. Tecla tried
- 48:57Speaker 1: using her belt to whip Statlander like they were picking
- 49:00Speaker 1: up with their scrap match that they had on Dynamite
- 49:02Speaker 1: a month ago. Referee, they'll pull the belt away. Tecla
- 49:06Speaker 1: got an O'Connor roll into a bridge right next to
- 49:09Speaker 1: the ropes, which allowed her to reach out and grab
- 49:12Speaker 1: the rope. Referee did and see it, and so she
- 49:15Speaker 1: was able to score the first fall because Paul Turner
- 49:18Speaker 1: never saw it. So Tecla goes up one nothing. This
- 49:21Speaker 1: was about four minutes into the match. That's what I
- 49:23Speaker 1: love about these two out of three falls matches, doesn't
- 49:26Speaker 1: matter what company you do them in. Like always first
- 49:30Speaker 1: fall within the first three minutes, four minutes, it's over.
- 49:34Speaker 1: It's comical to me, like you will have these matches
- 49:38Speaker 1: and they will throw everything at each other and it
- 49:41Speaker 1: will take forever to get a winner. And then you
- 49:45Speaker 1: have a two out of three falls match and get
- 49:47Speaker 1: your first pin in the first you know, fucking ninety
- 49:50Speaker 1: seconds of the match, all right on to fall number two.
- 49:53Speaker 1: It's like, well, I even have a two out of
- 49:55Speaker 1: three falls match, so Techla took her time gloating outside.
- 49:59Speaker 1: Stat Lander flew in with a basement dropkick, and the
- 50:02Speaker 1: crowd got real quiet for a while, Like in the
- 50:05Speaker 1: middle of this match, they got real quiet, not rawn
- 50:08Speaker 1: SmackDown quiet, but they got quiet. To their credit though,
- 50:13Speaker 1: they did a good job I think of building, you know,
- 50:15Speaker 1: they kind of slowed things down for a little bit,
- 50:17Speaker 1: and then they just gradually built it back up, and
- 50:20Speaker 1: by the end in the closing minutes, the fans were
- 50:22Speaker 1: into it. Tecla later on got an octopus supplied Statlander
- 50:28Speaker 1: swung her around into a Sunday Night fever, and she
- 50:31Speaker 1: got the pin to tie things up at one fall apiece.
- 50:35Speaker 1: This was about fifteen minutes into the match. Just as
- 50:39Speaker 1: the third and final fall was starting, Tecla raked the
- 50:43Speaker 1: eyes and she shoved Statlander into Paul Turner, who bumped
- 50:47Speaker 1: outside the ring. So Tecla kicks Turner in the ribs
- 50:51Speaker 1: outside before stripping him of his belt and bringing it
- 50:55Speaker 1: back into the ring with her. Statlander, though, got the
- 50:57Speaker 1: belt away and just w the shit out of her
- 51:01Speaker 1: with it, and then hit another Sunday Night fever. She
- 51:04Speaker 1: got the visual pin, but Visual pins do not win championships,
- 51:09Speaker 1: so we need a referee. Instead, here comes Sky Blue
- 51:12Speaker 1: and Julia Hart. They hit the ring, they get whipped
- 51:14Speaker 1: though for their troubles and they get dropped with a
- 51:17Speaker 1: discus lariat. Paul Turner returns and he sees Statlander is
- 51:20Speaker 1: holding the belt, the leather belt, and he takes it
- 51:24Speaker 1: away from her as Statlander turns and she turns right
- 51:29Speaker 1: into a spear, and then Tekla follows with two curb
- 51:34Speaker 1: stops for the win to retain the title. All of
- 51:39Speaker 1: the shenanigans at the end, you know it was done
- 51:42Speaker 1: to protect Statlander, especially if they want to run this back.
- 51:46Speaker 1: I didn't get the impression of watching this, even though
- 51:49Speaker 1: you can argue, you know, she had the match won
- 51:51Speaker 1: right the visual pin and then the Sisters of Sin
- 51:54Speaker 1: ran in. All this bullshit happened. She should get another match.
- 51:59Speaker 1: Maybe she will, maybe on TV. I don't know, though,
- 52:02Speaker 1: I didn't have this overwhelming feeling like Okay, they're gonna
- 52:05Speaker 1: We're gonna get another pay per view match out of it.
- 52:07Speaker 1: We've now had two stipulation matches between them, We've had
- 52:09Speaker 1: a scrap match, and we've had two out of three falls.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Do they do a cage match with the idea that
- 52:15Speaker 1: you keep the sisters of Sin out. I don't know.
- 52:19Speaker 1: I just didn't feel to me like we're guaranteed to
- 52:21Speaker 1: have a rematch here. We might, we might. I don't
- 52:25Speaker 1: know in terms of Statlander, honestly, I don't know. If
- 52:29Speaker 1: they don't go back to a rematch, what her future holds.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Where does she go from here? If she doesn't get
- 52:35Speaker 1: a rematch, what's next for her? What does she challenge for?
- 52:40Speaker 1: What does she fight for? I don't know. I didn't
- 52:46Speaker 1: think this was as good as their last match. I
- 52:49Speaker 1: thought it was solid. I just think their last match
- 52:51Speaker 1: was better. We had Mystico and jet Speed against Kazuchka Okada,
- 52:56Speaker 1: Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis, the brand new aw Trios champions,
- 53:03Speaker 1: the don Kallus family putting their titles on the line.
- 53:07Speaker 1: All kinds of big moves here, I mean, as you
- 53:10Speaker 1: would expect with jet Speed in there. I wouldn't say
- 53:14Speaker 1: the best night that Mystico has had. He barely got
- 53:19Speaker 1: enough of a code read at one point, but the
- 53:21Speaker 1: fans were into his stuff. Mystico stopped Fletcher from hitting
- 53:25Speaker 1: his brainbuster, and the La Mystica connects Mike Bailey, he
- 53:30Speaker 1: dropped Mark Davis with a kick, and Kevin Knight came
- 53:34Speaker 1: off the top with the UFO splash to win back
- 53:38Speaker 1: the trio's titles. So as quickly as the Callus Family
- 53:41Speaker 1: took those titles, they have been taken away and once
- 53:45Speaker 1: again we have new Trios champions, only this time it
- 53:48Speaker 1: is with Mystico and not Hangman, but Pyro shot off
- 53:55Speaker 1: on stage while the new champions all celebrated Knight in Bailey,
- 53:58Speaker 1: they put Mystico up their shoulders and they put a
- 54:01Speaker 1: graphic up that said Mystico is now all elite, and
- 54:08Speaker 1: the fans cheered, and they're parading him around the ring.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Ex Caliber made it very clear on commentary that he
- 54:15Speaker 1: is representing both CML and AW, so we have another
- 54:20Speaker 1: dual contract signing here. And Mystico was bowing to the
- 54:24Speaker 1: fans and they played his music from CML and he
- 54:28Speaker 1: was trying to get the fans into it. It's not
- 54:30Speaker 1: as culturally significant here as it is there, but the
- 54:34Speaker 1: fans were happy for him and some of them were
- 54:36Speaker 1: singing along, and it was a nice moment for the
- 54:41Speaker 1: people who were worried. I mean, I don't think too
- 54:44Speaker 1: many people were. People who use their brain should know
- 54:49Speaker 1: better for the people who were worried. Oh, Kevin Knight,
- 54:53Speaker 1: he took two pins a couple of weeks ago. Oh
- 54:56Speaker 1: the push is over. Oh my god. He he lost
- 55:00Speaker 1: to the World Champion, and then he lost again in
- 55:03Speaker 1: the main event. And I'm telling you, like, he's been
- 55:05Speaker 1: getting a lot of TV time, he's been getting a
- 55:07Speaker 1: lot of attention and love from Tony Kahan. He's going
- 55:09Speaker 1: to be okay. He was the one who took the
- 55:12Speaker 1: losing fall when they lost the trio's titles, and he
- 55:15Speaker 1: was the one who got the winning fall when they
- 55:17Speaker 1: won them back, So all is well, he's gonna be
- 55:22Speaker 1: just fine. I actually didn't think they were going to
- 55:25Speaker 1: take the belts off them this quickly. I was surprised
- 55:28Speaker 1: to see them put the belts back on Jet Speed
- 55:30Speaker 1: and Mystic Goo. I didn't know what his status was.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I mean, apparently if he's all elite, then they got
- 55:36Speaker 1: no worries there. Not that he's going to be full time.
- 55:39Speaker 1: He's still CMLL's guy. But if he's under contract to
- 55:42Speaker 1: AW that means they'll have greater access to him. So
- 55:47Speaker 1: don't really have a whole lot else to say about this.
- 55:49Speaker 1: You know he's all elite. Tony continues to sign a
- 55:53Speaker 1: lot of people. He's just signed all three members of

- 57:35Speaker 1: have Andrede Liedelo against Bandido. This one, this one. I
- 57:41Speaker 1: told you in advance of this that this was the
- 57:43Speaker 1: match I was most looking forward to coming into this show.
- 57:46Speaker 1: It had no real story whatsoever. I just was looking
- 57:50Speaker 1: forward to the actual match. And I noticed, also, especially
- 57:54Speaker 1: with the placement of this on the show, a lot
- 57:56Speaker 1: of lucha influence because we he just came off the
- 58:00Speaker 1: Mystico match and now here in this match, we have
- 58:03Speaker 1: Andrade against Bandido, So a lot of lucha influence here,
- 58:12Speaker 1: back to back on this pay per view, crowd was
- 58:14Speaker 1: already chanting for Andrade at the beginning of this to
- 58:17Speaker 1: take his pants off. I was not one of those people.
- 58:22Speaker 1: I'm just saying there were a lot of people in
- 58:24Speaker 1: the crowd who wanted him to take his pants off.
- 58:28Speaker 1: It was Bandido, though, who tried to do the gimmick first.
- 58:30Speaker 1: And he tried to rip his pants off, and he
- 58:33Speaker 1: kind of did, but then his pant leg was stuck
- 58:36Speaker 1: and he was taking forever he was trying to pull
- 58:38Speaker 1: the pants off, and so androde just got he just
- 58:41Speaker 1: got tired, and he just came over and fucking blasted
- 58:44Speaker 1: him and knocked him down, which I thought was pretty funny.
- 58:48Speaker 1: So then Androte slowed the pace down. He drove Bandido
- 58:52Speaker 1: throat first on the barricade, and he went to the
- 58:55Speaker 1: steps outside and he gave the people what they want wanted,
- 59:01Speaker 1: and he pulled the pants off. And don Callous on commentary,
- 59:05Speaker 1: I mean he probably had a chubby. I mean he
- 59:07Speaker 1: was he was feeling he was feeling good, like, oh man,
- 59:10Speaker 1: this is great, Like you could you could just smell it, right,
- 59:14Speaker 1: this is fantastic. I'm like, calm down, buddy. So he
- 59:17Speaker 1: takes the pants off and he approaches a female admirer
- 59:21Speaker 1: in the front row and he gives her a selfie.
- 59:25Speaker 1: So there was a spot where Androde missed a top
- 59:27Speaker 1: rope double stomp that led to a released German from
- 59:31Speaker 1: Bandido and the back of Andrade's head clip the not
- 59:35Speaker 1: even the turn buckle, it clipped the bottom rope, which,
- 59:38Speaker 1: as they pointed out, is not real rope. Wwe uses
- 59:42Speaker 1: real rope. It's cable. So his head hit the back
- 59:46Speaker 1: of the cable. Callous left commentary to go check on
- 59:50Speaker 1: his man and make sure he was okay. Later on,
- 59:53Speaker 1: Androtte landed a huge moon salt over the post and
- 59:57Speaker 1: he landed on his feet. He took out Bandido and
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: and there was another female fan and he went over
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: and he gave her a selfie as well. It's white
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: the ladies man. So later on, Bandido hit an avalanche
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: fallaway slam for a near fall. He went for a
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: stretch muffler. Androtti was able to grab the ropes to
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: break it. Bandido he set up for a twenty one
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: plex and Androte he shot up and he hit him
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: with a back elbow. Bandido caught Androtte with a rolling
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: heel kick at one point that the announcers they could
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: not fathom how he was able to hit this. So
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: then Bandido hit a twenty one plex to Androtti, who
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: was laying prone on the mat, which looked fucking incredible.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Just picked him up right off the fucking mat. Hit
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: the move, only got a near fall, so he went
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: for another twenty one plex, a proper one, Androtte this
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: time landed on his feet, and then he caught Bandido
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: with another back elbow, Androte went to the middle rope.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: He hit the DM, which is his finish, and he
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: got the win, which I figured he would. Very strange
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: they didn't make a bigger deal about the fact that
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: he just pinned the ring of honor World Champion. Evidently
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: this is not a big deal. Certainly no indication he's
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: going to be challenging him for the championship. But he
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: got to win over Bandido. Great match, great match here
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: between these two, him beating the ROH world champion. I
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: mean again, what does it really mean? You know, he
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: hasn't even defended the title this year. We're midway through March,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: not a single title defense for Bandido. What does it mean?
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: We had Darby, Allen, Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong. This
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: is the point in the show where I said this
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: should have been on Dynamite, This should have been on TV.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: We could have done without this. We should have gone
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: right into the main event. This did not need to
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: be on this show my opinion, Darby, Allen, Orange Cassidy,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Roderick Strong against David Finley gave kid In Clark Connors
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: the dogs. It's the dogs everybody. Alan tried to charge
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: at Gabe Kid He went to the apron right, so
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: he was going to charge at him. As Darby goes
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: to charge, Clark Connors comes from out of nowhere from
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: inside the ring, diving through the ropes and he spears
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Darby clear through the ropes and they both went crashing
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: to the floor. And I yelped when I saw this.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: It looked terrible, terrible, Not that the move looked I
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: mean it looked devastating. It just looked terrible and like
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: they took a terrible landing. Right, it looks super impressive
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: but unbelievably dangerous. If you just land the wrong way there,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: then you are fucked. So that was and they showed
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: a replay of it that was wild that spot. So
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: the dogs try. They tied the tag rope to a
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: chain around Darby's neck and then they took turns attacking
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: him while his partners were down on the floor outside.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: So later on Orange Cassidy, he went to ringside and
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: he grabs zip ties and a pair of scissors and
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: he cut Darby free from the tag rope. Darby immediately
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: went up top. He hit the dogs with a coffin
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: drop on the floor. Gabe Kid got Darby's skateboard and
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: he tried to hit him with it. Darby cut him
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: off and he knocks him off the entrance ramp. So
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: now Gabe Kid is down below and Darby takes the
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: skateboard and he jumps up into the air, puts the
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: skateboard underneath his feet and he comes down with it
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: right over the back of Gabe's head. So Darby gets
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: back to the ring. He hits Finley with a coffin
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: drop to the back and they show Gabe Kid it
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: cut back to him. He's still over. He's standing next
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: to the stage and evidently he was tied up and
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: he's unable to free himself because he's freaking out right.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: He wants to get back into the ring, but he can't.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: There's nothing he can do. Maybe that's where the zip
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: ties came in. I don't know. And that sucks for
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: him because back in the ring, Orange Cassidy hit Clark
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Connors with an orange punch, Roddy hit the end of Heartache,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: and Cassidy covered Connor's for the wind. You know, during
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: this match, we got a very casual f bomb on
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: commentary from Tony Schavani. By this point, he was it
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: was late in the show and he was just check
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: he was checked out. He's just casually thrown around F bomb. Yeah,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: fuck this, fuck that. He didn't care. I can't blame him.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I was checked out too by that point. So as
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: the baby Faces headed up the ramp, Kid was still
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: standing there. He was still tied to whatever he was
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: tied to, unable to break free. He's looking up at Darby.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: They're spitting at each other and he's clearly telling Darby,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna kill you like you're a dead man. I'm
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: going to kill you. So this feud will continue. I
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: thought the dogs would win. I thought they should win.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: If this is setting up Darby's death on Dynamite at
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: the hands of Gabe Kid on Wednesday. Then that's fine.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Clearly the threat has been put out there. But I
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: thought there should have been a win for the Dogs.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: You know, they're the new guys there, and I think
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: you established them as much as you possibly can with
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: some big wins. This was their first big pay per
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: view match and they lost. But it's all on the
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: follow up. You know, Gabe Kid, he made a threat.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: Now he has to follow through on that threat. What
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: is he going to do? What is he what can
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: he possibly do to Darby Allen? I actually shudder to
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: think what he could do. I'm sure whatever it is,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Darby's like, oh shit, I'm down for that. Not if
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Darby kills himself for well, unfortunately, with all the risks
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: he takes, it's very likely. So anyway, at Long Last
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: it was main event time. We had MJF defending the
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: AW World Championship against Hangman Adam Page in a Texas debt.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Oh no, no, who said that road Dog will join
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: AW and manage of the Dogs instead of a bitch.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Don't give them any idea he's signing. He's in signing mode.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Right now, he's signing everybody. I'll put nothing past him.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: He'll bring Road Dog in to do some sort of
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: New Age Outlaws reunion because that worked out so well
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: the last time we saw that in TNA when they
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: were on the app with WWA or the Three Live
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Crew shooting on Triple H. Yeah, we don't need that again.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Texas Deathmatch. If Hangman does not win the championship, he
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: can never again challenge for the AW World Title, or
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: as I call it, the Cody Road stipulation, So the
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: match can only end when a wrestler submits or is
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: unable to answer the ten count. There are no pinfalls,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: there are no submissions, dqs, none of that bullshit. Hangman
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: comes out not to his usual theme. There's like a
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: horn player on stage playing him to the ring. So
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: then we got a video package and this was actually
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: well done. It was MJF riding a horse through what
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: looked like an abandoned Western I have a feeling I
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: know who filmed this, by the way, shout out to
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: him if he's listening, but he's And it also looked
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: very similar to the vignettes they did previously with Bandido.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: But he's on his horse, dressed like a cowboy, and
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: he's riding through this old western looking town and he
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: gets off the horse and he goes over to a
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: grave that is marked for Hangman, and he pisses on Hangman.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: And he had a nice long piss too. I don't know,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: he probably drank a couple of gallons before this, but
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: he pissed all over Hangman's grave. Then they cut back
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: to the arena and here comes the champion and MJF
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: walks out and he's wearing a cowboy hat, he's wearing
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: a poncho, and he's wearing tights to, you know, pay
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: homage to the late great Terry Funk, one of the
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: all time greats. It was basically the same tights that
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Terry used to wear. He was dressed like Terry Funk.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: So MJF he left through the crowd early Hangman followed
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: him into the crowd. MJF was already bleeding from the mouth.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I didn't even see how it happened. He probably got
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: kicked in the mouth or something. But like we're like
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: ninety seconds into this match, he's already bleeding from the mouth.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: So they're still in the crowd and a fan hands
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Hangman a beer. He downs the beer. Hangman brought out
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: a couple minutes later, the staple gun of people still
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: coming up with ideas to do the New Age outlaws
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: against Cope and Christian This is horrible, don't give them ideas.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: So he has a staple gun and Hangman grabs a
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: birthday card off the mat and he uses it to
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: cut MJF in between his fingers. Then he staples the
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: birthday card to mjf's chest. He rips it right off
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: his sha It was either I think it was a car,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: a birthday cart or some sort of It said Happy
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Birthday on it, but he staples it to his chest
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: and then immediately yanks it off. So Page went to ringside.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: He came back with a window frame, which he set
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: down in the corner. MJF gouged his eyes and then
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: he took the window frame and he shattered it on
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: the mat, and then he looked into the camera and
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: he said, I'm not gonna do that indie bullshit. Oh really, really,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: we have a mound of glass in the middle of
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: the ring right now. You're gonna do the indie bullshit,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: and you're gonna like it. It's a hangman. He slams
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: MJF onto the glass in the middle of the ring,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: and MJF goes to crawl out of the ring. Hangman
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: grabs him by the legs and he goes, you're not
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: going nowhere, pulls him back to the middle of the
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: ring over the glass, and he's like pulling him around
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: like a lawnmower, and he's going in circles, breaking his
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: chest all over the glass. Again, we're mere minutes into
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: this match here. So he goes and he pulls out
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: a piece of barbed wire and he hits MJF in
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: the head with it. MJF comes up bleeding very badly.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Hangman then wraps it around mjf's mouth and he begins
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: to pull back on the barbed wire, and it looked
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: like it looked like something out of a horror movie
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: where you would expect this would be one of those
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: like big kills where he would like yank back and
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: the person's like their jaw would be severed in half.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: That's what he was trying to do to this guy.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: So MJF comes back. He sliced Hangman's head open with
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: one of the shards of glass, so we got double
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: juice here in this match. MJF went to the floor,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: he came back with a broom and he swept the
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: glass out of the rings. He's very smart. I don't
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: know why more people don't do that. MJF grabs a
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: syringe at this point, and is where I just I
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: just rolled my eyes at this, and I get that
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: it was a callback to the match with Swerve in
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Hangman their cage match, But as soon as he grabbed
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: the syringe, I said, again, again with this syringe, bullshit.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: And he brings the needle into the ring, and he
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: takes the syringe and he jabs it into Hangman's cheek,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: his right cheek in one way and out the other.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: So you see the needle piercing the flesh and coming
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: out the side of his face. And whatever was in
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: the syringe, the water whatever it may have been saline solution,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: he's squirting it out of the syringe. Now, whatever was
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: in the syringe, maybe he was just numbing him up
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: so he wouldn't feel all the pain that he was
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: about to inflict. I don't feel any differently about this
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: than I did the first time I saw it. I
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: thought it was just it's purely shock value. I mean,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: that's really all it is. It's stupid. I have no
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: desire to see it. I just think it's dumb. It
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: was dumb then, it was dumb now. So Hangman hit
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: a dead eye. And by the way, Hangman had the
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: syringe in his cheek for a little bit before he
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: finally took it out, like he was fighting back with
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: this fucking thing in his cheek. So he hit a
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: dead eye on top of a chair in the ring
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: that was laid flat and was wrapped in barbed wire.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Hangman then hit a fallaway slam that launched MJF into
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: the barbed wire chair that was set up in the corner.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Later on, Hangman hit a dead eye off the apron,
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: threw a table on the floor. MJF beat the referees count.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: At the last moment, Hangman tried to repeat the dead
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: eye off the apron with another table on the floor. MJF, though,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: blocked it and he hit a tombstone pile driver through
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: the table instead. Eventually, Hangman was able to make it
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: back to his feet. MJF and Page they both pulled
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: out light tubes a little bit later. Oh that's my
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: that's my second favorite thing. Light tubes. So they each
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: got one like they're in fucking star wars here and
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: they're gonna face each other, face one another off here
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: in a lightsaber battle. MJF he decides, you know what,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna back away from this, and he begins to
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: go down the aisle and Hangman is in pursuit. So
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Hangman ended up getting the better of him. He took
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: the light tube and he smashes it over mjf's back.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Then he takes mjf's light tube and he smashes it
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: over mjf's head. So Page got MJF back inside the ring,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: and then he pulled we're not done yet. Oh no, oh,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: because we had the syringe, right, We've had barbed wire,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: we've had staple guns, we've had tables, and we've had chairs,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: and we have had light tubes, and now we got
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: to get the barbecue skewers. So Hangman grabs the skewers
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: from under the ring and he tries to jab MJF
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: in the head with him, MJF blocks it. They go
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: back and forth and they're trying to use them on
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: each other, and finally Page again it's like this just
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: I don't know how many were in there, and he
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: just stabs him right at the top of his head
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: and he's like jamming him in there, and some of
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: them fall out and some of them stay in right,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: So he's been skewered. So he's, oh, glass, thank you,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: I forgot the glass. Yes, thank you. And so now
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: he's got skewers sticking out of his head. So Page
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: goes to the apron and he hits the buckshot lariot
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: and some of the skewers go flying, and some of
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: them are still in his head. So the referee begins
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: to count. This is still not enough. MJF is up
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: before the count of ten. So we've had skewers, glass right, everything.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Oddly enough, one thing we did not have in this match.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: I don't think we had tax. Now MJF actually had
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: a tables and tax match with Mark Briscoe back in September.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Did we have thumb tacks in this match? I find
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: that kind of odd that that's the one thing that
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: was actually missing here. Yes, the uh yes, the skewers.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: I did notice that some of the skewers got stuck
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: to his hair. So Hangman now introduces a double dog collar.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: We've now moved into the dog collar phase of this
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Texas Deathmatch, and he locks the collars around each of
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: their necks and MJF realizes this and he starts to panic,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: and he begins to scream not again, not again, right,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: he's having flats to the dog collar match with Cmpunk,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: which they made reference did They never mentioned Punk, but
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: they did reference that MJF has a history with these
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: dog collars here at Revolution. So he tries to leave,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: Hangman pulls them back in and Hangman pulls a table
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: out from under the ring. MJF is down on the
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: apron and Hangman is yelling to the fans, does anybody
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: have a lighter? No one did, so he pulled out
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: a barbed wire board from under the ring. No problem,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: I'll just use this and he places the board on
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: top of the other table. Now the fans begin to
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: chant for fire, and again he tells the crowd, Hey,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: if you got a lighter, I'll be more than happy
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: to give you what you want. Nobody came forward with
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: a lighter. Maybe he genuinely forgot the lighter and he
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: was like, hey, I need a lighter. Does anybody have one?
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: And nobody had one, So Hangman gets back to the
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: apron and they're fighting, and Hangman goes to the middle rope,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: but MJF grabs the chain from the dog collar and
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: he yanks the chain and Hangman goes flying off the
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: ropes down through the barbed wire table that he himself
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: had set up. So Hangman eventually gets up at the
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: very last moment, MJF begins whipping him with the chain
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: and they're heading back now down the aisle towards the stage.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: So they're fighting on the stage and they're getting perilously
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: close to the edge on the right side of the stage,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: and you can see MJF is kind of glancing behind him,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: like making sure that yeah, there's something there, because something
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: bad's about to happen. And so sure enough, Hangman grabs
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: him for like a belly to belly, right, he grabs
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: him and holds him in tight and they both go
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: flying off the stage and down through a table which explodes.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I believe there was like a burst of flames at first, uh,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: and then there were just random sparks. But it was
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: weird because when they went through the tape, when they
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: initially crashed through the table. It looked like whatever the
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: explosion was was like right in their fell I wouldn't
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: be shocked. I'm kind of shocked that his eyebrows didn't
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: get singed off. I mean, it looked like it was
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: like right there, right in their fucking face. And they're
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: laying there, like right next to each other, like they're
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: laying in bed, like looking at each other. Right there,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: they're right next to each other, and they're lying in
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: the rubble, and I'm thinking they're not gonna end this
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: with no winner here. I mean, that would be a
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: pretty fucking lame way to end this match. So the
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: referee came over and he started counting, and he gets
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: all the way up to nine, and both men get
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: back to their feet. At nine, they no sold an explosion.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: I mean, if you know, sell that and get back
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: to your feet. I mean there's nowhere to go from there,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: I mean, what else is left to do. You've no
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: soul death. So Page takes the chain, which again is
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: still around mjf's neck, and he literally dog walks him
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: back to I mean MJF is on all fours crawling
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: back to the ring, and it looks like he is
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: being walked like a dog, and the fans break into
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: a chance of he's a good boy. He's a good
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: but good boy. So Page goes for one last buck shot. MJF, though,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: kicks him in the crotch and he grabs the aw
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: world title. He blasts him in the head with it.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Hangman then exploded to his feet at the nine count
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: to a big pop. Heer from the crowd, and he
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: hits MJF in the head with the belt. One last
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: buck shot is coming up, but MJF decks him with
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: the dynamite diamond ring, which allowed MJF to hang Page
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: over the top rope with the chain around his neck.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: Very much how Hangman won the championship from John Moxley
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: in Texas back in July. In fact, that's exactly how
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: he won the world championship. Now the same thing is
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: being done to him and Hangman is losing oxygen. He's
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: flailing around for a little bit and he's trying to
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: hang on and he goes unconscious and MJF let's go
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and Hangman crumbles down to the floor. But before he
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: gets down to the floor, as he's falling, you know,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: he falls forward and his head smacks the camera on
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: the way down and it leaves this huge blood stain
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: where now most of the lens is like blurry and
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: there's like a gob of blood on the camera lens.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: I thought it added very nicely actually to things. It
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: was kind of like one of those happy accidents that
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I don't know that that was planned. I mean, it
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: could have been plained, but if it wasn't, it was
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: a happy accident because I just feel like it kind
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: of fit the tone of the match here. But the
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: referee is administering the count and Hangman is not moving
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: and he hits ten and that's it. The match is over.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: MJF wins Texas Death. He is still the AW World
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: Champion and Hangman Adam Page can never again, or so
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: they say, challenge for the AW World type as of
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: this moment, he can never again challenge for the AW
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: World title. And you know ex caliber he called at
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: the end of an era and Brian Danielson said that
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: it's a sad day for AW fans. Hangman is They
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: strap him to a stretcher and MJF climbs on top
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: of him and holds up the championship as they go
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: off the air. That's the parting image as the show ends.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: No interference. There was no swerve like I thought maybe
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: there would be, so nobody came out. MJF beat Hangman
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: at his own game. He beat him with his own stipulation.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: He played by the rules that Hangman set forth. Hangman
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: did everything that you could possibly do to another human being.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: Dragged him in glass, He used every kind of weapon imaginable,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: bloodied this man multiple times. They went flying off a stage.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: They exploded together everything that happened in this match, and
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: when it was over, MJF beat him fair and square.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: You could scream belt shot, you could scream dynamite, diamond ring.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: It's a fucking Texas death match. Okay, they were using
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: skewers and staples. I think a diamond ring and a
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: belt is actually pretty tame by comparison. Hangman used the
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: belt too, by the way. He beat him fair and square,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: straight up at his own game. There's no story here
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: where Hangman could be like, well, so and so you
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: know how to help you out, and so screwed me.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: He's not the Drew McIntyre of aw. He wasn't screwed.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: He screwed himself by picking the stipulation. This was the
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: match that he wanted. You live by the swords, you
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: died by the sword, and that's what happened to Hangman
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: here on this show. And when it was over, I
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: was feeling a lot of things, you know, when this
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: match was over. On the one hand, it was too much.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: And what I mean is they really wanted to literally
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: do every single thing you could do, and I don't
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: think you need to do every single thing every single time.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I said this one forty five, it might have gone
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: forty six minutes. It did not need to go that long.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: I think it could have been just as effective if
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: you shaved off twelve to fifteen minutes. So I thought
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: it was a little self indulgent, just with some of
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: the stuff that they were doing. I did like the callbacks.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: I did like the callback, especially the dog collar stuff
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: and then Mjf's reaction when he's realized that the dog
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: collars were around their next I thought that was cool.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: This syringe stuff not a fan I could have done
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: without that. I just think it's stupid. But I appreciate
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: the callbacks to the past, including the finish, you know,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: the way that he lost the title match was the
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: way that he won the championships, So I like all
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: of that. In a Texas Death match, you know it's
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: going to be bloody, you know it's going to be violent.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: They delivered that. If that's your thing, I don't see
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: how you can find another Texas Death match, and they've
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: done a bunch of them in this company, at least
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: half a dozen different ones. I don't think you could
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: find another one that was better than the one that
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: we had tonight, even though again I thought it was
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: longer than it had to be. There were some things
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: they did. I didn't like orther, the light tubes and
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: stuff like that. It was Texas death so you know
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: what you're going to get coming into it. And I
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: think that they lived up to the stipulation and then some.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: And I think back to when MJF had that Iron
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: Man match with Brian Danielson. It was on this very
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: pay per view a few years ago, and I've always
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: maintained that is the best Iron Man match that I
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: have ever seen. It is in the number one spot.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: And so you could argue now that MJF has been
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: part of the number one Texas Death match that they
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: have done here in AW. You know, he's got quite
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: the resume that he's racked up, and not just stipulation matches.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: I'm just talking matches in general. This run that he
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: has had so far has been pretty damn good. And
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: you know, AW he talks about how everything's up. You know,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: TV ratings are up and ticket sales are up. They've
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: got a momentum right now with him as the champion.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: He's the face of that company right now, and they
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: have a momentum that they did not have in my opinion,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: six months ago, or nine months ago, or even a
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: year ago, it would have been foolish to take that
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: championship off of MJ. Why would you do that? Why
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: would you take the belt away from him? Right now?
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: He's just getting into the thick of it. He's got
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: a million other people waiting in line, and as great
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: as he's been in these situations, there's a lot more
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: of that greatness yet to come. If you put him
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: in there would swerve, if you put him in there
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: with Osprey, if you put him in there with Omega.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: So to take the title off of him right now
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: wouldn't have made any sense, hangman. As far as how
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: they're going to handle that whole situation. We'll see. I've
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: mentioned the Casino Gauntlet. That could be a workaround to
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: the stipulation, unless they want to stay true Blue, which
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: I think I don't know why you would want to
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: do that. You know, Hangman has been with them from
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: day one. I don't get the impression that he's going
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: anywhere anytime soon. Why you would want to box yourself
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: in like that with a stipulation like that, I don't know.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: There are ways around it, though, to where down the
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: road he could challenge again for the world title, because
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: that'll be a story that they could tell later on. Right,
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: we've already had the Hangman redemption arc when he beat
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: Kenny to win the belt back. There could be another
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: one too, years from now, but for the time being,
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: he's out of the title picture now, which is for
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: the better because we've had our fill I think of
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: Hangman in that spot and now it's full steam ahead
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: to whoever is going to be up next to Dynasty.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: We got Dynasty, we got double or nothing. I still
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: maintain if they do Grand Slam Mexico again, presumably in
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: June at Arena Mexico, they should do MJF and Andrade
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: on that show for the championship. Absolutely one hundred should
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: do it on that show. And then we're going to
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: be getting into all in season and who gets the
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: shot against him, assuming he's still the champion, who gets
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: the shot against him at Wembley? Is it Osprey, is
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: it Omega? To me, it's got to be one of
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: those two. Can't really imagine it being anybody else. But yeah,
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: these guys went out there in my god, they just
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: fucking obliterated each other for forty five minutes. But I
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: go back to what Brian Danielson said on commentary. Okay,
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: just don't even listen to me. Listen to Brian Danielson,
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: Listen to the guy who was doing commentary on your
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: main event during the match, as these guys were murdering
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: each other, saying that there should be a moratorium for
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: a while in this company on Texas death Matches. I
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: think they would be well advised to take Brian Danielson's advice,
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: especially after this, because how do you follow up on this?
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: How do you top what we saw these guys do
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: to each other in this main event? Where do you
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: go from here? Like this is the pinnacle right here?
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: They should absolutely put a moratorium on this shit for
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: at least a year. Take the man's advice. He knows
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: what he's talking about. What did you think of Revolution
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: Sunday and Monday? Seventy six percent thumbs up for tonight's
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: show and roughly twenty four percent thumbs down. I had
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: to put to Sunday and Monday in there because this
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: was technically a two day revolution. Oh man, I come
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: back to me here, come back to me here. I'm
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: not ready yet. I have to open the super chats.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: First show went so late. I forgot to open the superchats.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: There we go. We should be able to get through
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: this fairly quickly. Here, all right, now we can go back.
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: There you go, There you go, There you go. Hey,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: dried chicken starting us off. Thank you brother. Hey two
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: nights you were wondering what a two night AW pay
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: per view would look like? Now you know? Oh, and
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: I have RAW tonight. Oh joy, that's right, I forgot
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: about that. Ah, Ronda Rousey and AW equals a perfect
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: fit for her. She is going to love pro wrestling again.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: I guarantee it. I don't give a shit if she
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: loves pro wrestling or not. I don't want to see
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: her week to week on my TV. Says aw picked
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: the time to have Revolution during Oscar season and College
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: basketball Championship Week March Madness Selection Sunday. Yeah, I don't
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: think there's going to be too much overlap between the
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: aw audience and the Academy Award audience. Osprey versus Moxley
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: potential aw Continental title match in the future, says he
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: had that gut feeling if Moxley returned, well, I mean
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: that seems pretty clear after what we saw tonight. OMG,
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: It's winky says just finished episode nine fifty five double
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: dose of Solo Monster tonight. I hope you enjoyed. If
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: anyone has a bite kink, was this the show for you?
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: I'm Tride versus Bandido Spoiled Riha versus Jade's body feud.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: I'm telling you I'm still waiting for the pose down
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: on TV with Ria and Jade. It'll be their next
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: idea Italian Stallion A Solo Monster loving the Uncrowned Wrestling
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: show Love from Melbourne, Thank you, brother? Do you think that?
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: Do you think that is up there with one of
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: the best hardcore death matches of all time. I'm not
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: a Cowboy fan, though. I mean in terms of AW
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: it was the best Texas death match they've ever done.
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: I'll just leave it at that. I don't I'm not
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: an expert on all of the great hardcore matches that
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: there have been. I don't go seeking them ount. I
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: don't think I'm the one that you want to be
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: asking to rank them. In terms of the ones that
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: I've seen here in this company, this would be the
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: best one Chicago for MBK. Can Tony start the pay
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: per view at like one pm Eastern? Well tell Tony,
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: I think it is absolutely ridiculous that they continue to
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: do this. Yeah, they're on the West coast, so they
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: don't give a shit. And I gotta get messages from
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: people when I don't go live for some of these
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: pay per view How come you not live your life
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: for the WWE pay per views but you're not lied
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: for the aw pay per views? Why do you favor
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: the ww you like? I favor them like? I favor
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: them four matches in a fucking crate. Yeah, I fail
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: for them because they're on at a normal fucking time.
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: That's why very simple. You don't have to ask the question.
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: The answer is staring you right in the face. Boss
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: Toys says last year Fletcher with the blood. This year
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: everyone is a shark, is a shark hungry for flesh.
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: What's with revolution and fetishes? Also Charlotte and Shambles Each
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: time Onrede gets these selfies with someone Warhog Rambo. Do
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: you think Hangman will get a title shot under a
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: mask like Dusty? Ah, he could be the new Midnight Rider.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: I hadn't thought about that. Well, I mean, he is
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: a cowboy, would kind of work the new Midnight writer.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: Steve was there live incredible show. Hope they say the
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: Hangman stipulation wasn't in right. Instead, if he challenges for
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: the title again, it's him going back on his word.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: Well not if he wins the casino gauntlet. I'm just
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: saying he could win that contract and just keep it
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: in his back pocket for a rainy day. Bender mc
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: simpson really liked the new camera angles tonight, but tell
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: Tony that we need less views of the fans. I
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: did notice that they were kind of going overboard with
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: all the shots. It looked cool. I just wouldn't abuse
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: it so much. Also, I'm a fan of Ronda Rousey
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: and I'm happy to see her. Congrats, Dallas says, bad
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: night for my favorites, Takeashta, Brody, Bandido and Hangman. It
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: feels like AW is defaulting to the stars rather than
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: the regulars. Not really sure what you mean by that.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: I mean, we had Kevin Knight right in the Jet
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: Speed win the Trios belts. We had Meghan Bain and
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: Leana Cross. It was brand new there winning the women's
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: tag team titles. So I mean there were definitely examples
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: on the show, Jack Perry winning the national title. If
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: you give a shit about that, I mean, look, you
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: got Kenny back, you got Cope and Christian back, you
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: got Osprey back. So that's why it feels that way,
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: because they had all the big names that came back,
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: all on the same show. So I can see where
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: it would feel like that, But I can't say I
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: entirely agree with that. Benders says, this show is way
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: too long, especially for a Sunday mactub on Lesner As
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: an overall performer, I feel only being used to elevate
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: roman reign since twenty fifteen kind of held him back.
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: I think as a performer, he's an incredible performer, and
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: I know he's capable of doing more in the ring.
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: He just you know, hasn't had to do it since
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: he came back to the company. He has his way
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: of doing things. It works for him. He's got a
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: certain got a certain aura about him when he's out
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: there that not a lot of other people have. I
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: guess maybe it comes from his background in combat sports
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: as a performer. Though I rank him pretty high, it's
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: pretty high up there. Fried Chicken says it would be
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: great to see Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey both appearing
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: on an episode of Dynamite days before their big fight.
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: I'm sure Tony Kahn would love that. I think a
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: lot of this has to do with trying to kind
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: of cross promote, probably for her fight. That would be
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: my guess. The timing of it is just too coincidental.
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: But if Tony feels he can get a big match
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: out of it with her and Tony Storm, and if
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: Ronda is willing to put Tony over, great. If not,
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: then there's no reason for her to be there because
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: beyond that, she doesn't bring anything to the table for
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: aw But if she's willing to do business, then that's fine.
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: Carlos just got home from the show, and I thought
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: it was a good show. Andrade's spinning back elbow is
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: a thing of you know what. Every time he hits that,
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: I have no idea how he doesn't knock the other
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: guy's teeth out like he just he makes it look
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: so good, it looks so devastating. It's a fucking great move,
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: he says, going to restart the review. So y'all have
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: a good one, you two Carlos. I'm glad you enjoyed
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: the show. Also, he says, Osprey and Kenny Returns made
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: me sob Tekla is great. Jet speech should be Tag
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: Team Champions and Sola Monster should induct Demolition into the
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: Hall of Fame. I like the way you think never
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: gonna happen, But I think I would give a great
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: speech for dem I would do them proud. I would
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: honor Demolition in the way that they deserve to be honored.
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: We have zul I love that name. It iss nice
- 1:39:40Speaker 1: review solo. By the way, we need to sign Kabeb
- 1:39:44Speaker 1: and Islam to boost ratings and change the landscape of wrestling. Well,
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: if they can wrestle, let's see what they got. Otherwise,
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: I got I used for him. There were so many
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: people on this roster it is insane, and unless you
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: are someone who is going to really truly enhance this
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: product in a meaningful way, there just ain't no room
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: for you. Wink the Cosmic Grandma, My first pay per
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: view live and only thirty feet from the ring. What
- 1:40:24Speaker 1: an emotional roller coaster. Hangman Losing had me in tears.
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: Has a match ever made you cry? Yes? Yes, yes,
- 1:40:40Speaker 1: and I'll leave it at that. Bass Beera says, syringe, cringe, Yep,
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: you said it, mactub. How big of a draw was
- 1:40:55Speaker 1: Austin after Wrestleman he is seventeen? He was a draw,
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: but not big enough to prevent there being a business
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: crash because it was a downhill decline after that, after
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: he turned heel worst Triple H Win nine Randy Orton
- 1:41:18Speaker 1: or twenty eleven Punk twenty eleven Punk Punk was so
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: hot during that summer that to just beat him it
- 1:41:31Speaker 1: was so clearly just a personal thing on Triple H's part.
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: Kevin Nash basically said as much recently, it was just
- 1:41:42Speaker 1: ridiculous lost Dill. It's two thirty am and Solo is
- 1:41:45Speaker 1: still alive. What a night to be alive? With I'm
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: barely alive. By the way, why do you despise Wheeler Uda?
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: I mean despise as a strong word. I don't despise him.
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: I just don't care for the average grunt. First AW
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: pay per View of twenty twenty six and another banger
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: in the books so saith and then HBKC eighty three
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: non aw related. Who do you think had more matches
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: against each other? Midnight Express against the Rock and Roll
- 1:42:22Speaker 1: Express or the USO's against the New Day rock and
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: Roll Express and the Midnight Express. I would be I
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: would be almost certain of it. Tuxedos said it better,
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: said it better than I did. He doesn't care enough
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: about Yda to despise him. Yet, I'd have to really
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: care enough to despise somebody. I can't bring myself to
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: despise the man. I'm completely indifferent, all right. Well, the
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: goal was four hundred and fifty likes, and we are
- 1:43:00Speaker 1: at five hundred and fifty five, So I thank you
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: for that. See turtle Head nose Ball, turtle Head Nos.
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: When I cried, ladies and gentlemen, it is now time
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: to be the booker, Tony Kahan said, it's a verbal agreement,
- 1:43:27Speaker 1: just like the Cody situation. HM said about Hangman. See, oh,
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: so it wasn't in writing, Well, there you go. Hangman
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: can say it wasn't down on paper. I'm not going nowhere.
- 1:43:43Speaker 1: I want my rematch, all right. We have the Hollywood Blondes,
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: Stunning Steve Austin and Brian Pillman. Look at these young guys.
- 1:44:00Speaker 1: Look how happy they are. I've been on a nineteen
- 1:44:06Speaker 1: ninety two slash ninety three WCW kick was so fucking great.
- 1:44:12Speaker 1: What a great period of time. I didn't appreciate it
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: when I was younger, like the pre hope, like right
- 1:44:20Speaker 1: before Hogan came in. Oh, it was so great. But
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: I was watching and they had a it was a
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: match between Stunning Steve and Scott Steiner for the television title.
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: They just uploaded it the other day to the WCW channel.
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: We have the acclaimed against the Hollywood Blondes. Not bad.
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: What did I think of MJF coming out dressed as
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: Terry Funk? I loved it. I thought it was a
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: great homage to one of the all time goats. I
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: have to say goats, because there's a multiple greatest of
- 1:45:02Speaker 1: all time that people will cite. Some people think Terry
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: Funk is the greatest of all times. Some people think
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: Rick Flair is the greatest of all times. Some people
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: think Sean Michaels is the greatest of all time. Some
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: people think Danausen is the greatest of all time. Everyone
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: has an opinion. We have Ivory from her right to
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: Censor Era, and Ivory is going to be taking on
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: lash Legend. Not a very appealing match, not feeling it.
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: El Dandy, El Dandy you think is the greatest of
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: all time? Yeah, Brett Hart might actually concur He's a
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: jam up guy. That El Dandy all right, may have
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: been here we go. Oh man, Orange Cassidy, who is
- 1:46:05Speaker 1: victorious on the pay per view tonight. Kind of appropriate
- 1:46:08Speaker 1: that on an aw pay per view night he would
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: be in the main event. Here be the booker. H
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, that's the second time that's happened
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: recently where it faked me out and then it switched
- 1:46:30Speaker 1: at the last second. Psycho Sid, Psycho Sid against Orange Cassidy. Well,
- 1:46:38Speaker 1: you know what, I love me some Psycho Sid. He
- 1:46:42Speaker 1: would power bomb the shit out of Orange Cassidy. I'm
- 1:46:45Speaker 1: here for it. I'll give that the bell. That's the
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: bell right there, and that is your Revolution review. That's
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: all I got for you running on fumes. If you
- 1:47:07Speaker 1: missed episode nine fifty five, two hours of the sound off,
- 1:47:10Speaker 1: you will have something to listen to tomorrow morning, so
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: go ahead and download and share it out to the world.
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: I'll be working all day preparing for the Uncrowned Wrestling Show,
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: which is coming up on Tuesday. We'll talk Revolution, Fallout,
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: and all the other news of the week with the
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: events of Raw later tonight. Of course, I'll be live
- 1:47:29Speaker 1: with you tonight. I'm gonna be back here live with
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: you in less than twenty four hours talking Monday night Raw.
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: Turtlehead says ninety two Cactus Jack sounded like Matt Foley
- 1:47:42Speaker 1: from SNL ninety two. Cactus Jack was part of that
- 1:47:48Speaker 1: group of guys men that were having these killer matches
- 1:47:52Speaker 1: back then. Sting was so over these crowds. My god,
- 1:47:56Speaker 1: the way in these videos, the way they go nuts
- 1:47:58Speaker 1: for them, it's just insane. But you have the dangerous
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: alliance Rick Rude and Austin and beautiful Bobby Ricky, Steamboat Sting, Vader,
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: Cactus Steiner's It's great shit. Will Stone Cold return tonight,
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: I hope. So how are you gonna have a three
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: sixteen day in Texas and not have stone cold there?
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: I hope the only glass shattering isn't the glass that
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: we heard on the pay per view tonight. Let's see
- 1:48:41Speaker 1: what happens, Fingers crossed. He has ninety two War Games
- 1:48:44Speaker 1: best War Games match ever ever, And honestly, I think
- 1:48:50Speaker 1: the second best would be ninety one, but I think
- 1:48:53Speaker 1: ninety two beats it out. Martin just said, heading home
- 1:48:57Speaker 1: from Revolution, Martin, I hope you enjoyed the show. It
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: was a very long, exhausting show, but a great one,
- 1:49:05Speaker 1: but just too fucking long. Be well, stay safe and
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: come back tonight because we will be here again talking
- 1:49:15Speaker 1: Monday Night Raw. Hopefully it is Monday Night Raw and
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: not mundane Night Raw, especially coming off this Revolution show.
- 1:49:22Speaker 1: I'll see you tonight. Take care, guys,
