- 0:19Speaker 1: do have to take a closer look at this because
- 0:21Speaker 1: it matters a great deal for the stability of our
- 0:23Speaker 1: constitutional republic. We'll get into the details a Also, some
- 0:28Speaker 1: very big news in the last 24 hours on our
- 0:31Speaker 1: elections and the efforts by the left to rig congressional
- 0:35Speaker 1: maps across the country. Well, we've had some massive success, again,
- 0:39Speaker 1: in the last 24 hours in thwarting their attempts to
- 0:42Speaker 1: do that. I'm going to share some of those with
- 0:44Speaker 1: you all ahead on this edition of Vince. We'll be

- 2:18Speaker 1: In fact, I was texting with her yesterday as I'm
- 2:21Speaker 1: watching all these news headlines come through about the Justice
- 2:25Speaker 1: Department's prosecution of the would-be assassin, this guy Cole Allen.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And so yesterday, the guy was arraigned in federal court
- 2:33Speaker 1: in Washington, D.C. And here's how that went down. Here's
- 2:37Speaker 1: Todd Blanch announcing the three charges. And I'm interested by
- 2:41Speaker 1: the specific charges. Listen to this.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Today, the Department of Justice filed three federal charges in
- 2:48Speaker 2: United States District Court against Cole Thomas Allen. The first
- 2:53Speaker 2: count is attempted assassination of the President of the United States.
- 2:58Speaker 2: This count is punishable by up to life in prison.
- 3:02Speaker 2: The second count is interstate transportation of a firearm to
- 3:05Speaker 2: commit a felony. This is punishable by up to 10
- 3:08Speaker 2: years in prison. And the third count is discharge of
- 3:11Speaker 2: a firearm during a crime of violence which is punishable
- 3:14Speaker 2: by a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of 10 years,
- 3:18Speaker 2: a maximum of life, and the 10 years is consecutive
- 3:22Speaker 2: to any other sentence imposed.
- 3:26Speaker 1: So interesting. So some of that stands out. One is
- 3:30Speaker 1: the attempted assassination of the president of the United States,
- 3:32Speaker 1: crystal clear from the manifesto. That stands out. The guy
- 3:36Speaker 1: straight up said that that was his intent. He wants
- 3:38Speaker 1: to take out every official that he can get access to.
- 3:42Speaker 1: He's clearly targeting the event because the president's there. So
- 3:45Speaker 1: they've got the evidence against him in that case. They've
- 3:48Speaker 1: got that second charge of him bringing guns across the
- 3:50Speaker 1: lines with the intent to commit a felony. That one
- 3:53Speaker 1: is open and shut, clearly, given what he did. And
- 3:57Speaker 1: then that third one, you know, they talk about discharging
- 4:01Speaker 1: the weapon in the commission of a felony.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:05Speaker 1: But what about the charges about who he was aiming
- 4:08Speaker 1: the weapon at? We were promised, not promised, we were
- 4:12Speaker 1: indicated to all weekend long that they were intending to
- 4:15Speaker 1: charge him with assault on a federal officer. They did
- 4:18Speaker 1: not charge him with that. Did you notice that? They
- 4:20Speaker 1: didn't charge him with assault on a federal officer. Let's
- 4:23Speaker 1: dog ear that. We'll keep talking about that in a moment.
- 4:26Speaker 1: The other thing they didn't charge him with is attempted
- 4:29Speaker 1: murder of a federal officer. That presumably the thought process
- 4:34Speaker 1: was certainly going through the weekend that the guy fired
- 4:37Speaker 1: his weapon directly into the chest of a Secret Service agent.
- 4:41Speaker 1: That seems to me that's an attempted murder. So you
- 4:44Speaker 1: would slap him with charges on that, too, wouldn't you?
- 4:47Speaker 1: But that is not what they charged him with here.
- 4:50Speaker 1: They charged him with those first three charges. Now, we
- 4:52Speaker 1: could have more. Janine Pirro told us yesterday, the U.S.
- 4:56Speaker 1: attorney for D.C., she said more charges are incoming. So
- 5:00Speaker 1: those may still yet arrive, but I think there's a
- 5:03Speaker 1: very good reason why they're not yet ready to say
- 5:06Speaker 1: that those charges will be open and shut. Listen to this.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Here's cut to Jeanine Pirro.
- 5:10Speaker 4: There will be additional charges as this investigation continues to unfold.
- 5:16Speaker 4: But make no mistake, this was an attempted assassination of
- 5:21Speaker 4: the president of the United States with the defendant making
- 5:25Speaker 4: clear what his intent was. And that intent was was
- 5:29Speaker 4: to bring down as many of the high-ranking cabinet officials
- 5:33Speaker 4: as he could. This is the kind of situation that
- 5:38Speaker 4: we cannot tolerate. And as the Attorney General has just indicated,
- 5:43Speaker 4: it could have been so much worse but for the
- 5:47Speaker 4: reality that we had the Secret Service as well as
- 5:51Speaker 4: the Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's true. That's true. The guy doesn't make
- 5:58Speaker 1: it all the way to that ballroom because he stopped
- 6:00Speaker 1: by law enforcement. That's unquestionably true. And I say this
- 6:06Speaker 1: on behalf of the rest of the country. Totally grateful.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Totally grateful that the president of the United States and
- 6:11Speaker 1: everybody else in that ballroom were kept safe by the
- 6:14Speaker 1: fact that law enforcement acts with acted swiftly enough to
- 6:16Speaker 1: stop him from getting through. Great. That's that's a great thing.
- 6:21Speaker 1: All Jeanine Pirro did walk through the timeline of the
- 6:24Speaker 1: shooter's movements. She explained that he planned all this over
- 6:27Speaker 1: the course of several days, and then he rushed that
- 6:29Speaker 1: security checkpoint. Here's cut three. This is Jeanine Pirro explaining
- 6:33Speaker 1: the timeline.
- 6:34Speaker 4: You may recall that it was on March 2nd that
- 6:36Speaker 4: the president indicated that he would be attending this public
- 6:40Speaker 4: event at the Hilton. And on April 6th, that's when
- 6:46Speaker 4: Cole Allen first made a hotel reservation at the Washington
- 6:51Speaker 4: Hilton for three nights, the 24th, the 25th, and the 26th.
- 6:56Speaker 4: It was on April 21st that he traveled all the
- 7:00Speaker 4: way from the West Coast from his home near L.A.
- 7:06Speaker 4: He gets to Chicago on April 23rd and has been indicated.
- 7:11Speaker 1: He arrives in D.C.
- 7:12Speaker 4: On the 24th and he checks into the hotel at
- 7:15Speaker 4: about 3 p.m.
- 7:17Speaker 1: He stays overnight.
- 7:20Speaker 4: He is very much aware that the president and the
- 7:24Speaker 4: first lady entered the ballroom at 8 p.m. And it
- 7:28Speaker 4: was at 8.40 that he made a decision to rush
- 7:32Speaker 4: the ballroom.
- 7:35Speaker 1: The reason I want you to hear the timeline is
- 7:36Speaker 1: I'm trying to put together a case of why this
- 7:39Speaker 1: this this whole event troubles me from a security standpoint.
- 7:44Speaker 1: It was well known that the president of the United
- 7:46Speaker 1: States was going to be at this event. Very well known.
- 7:49Speaker 1: We all knew about it for a while. We've been
- 7:51Speaker 1: talking about it for a while that this was happening.
- 7:54Speaker 1: So the whole nation knows this guy is able to travel. 3,000
- 7:59Speaker 1: miles across the country by train, brings all of his
- 8:02Speaker 1: guns with him, books a room inside of the Hilton,
- 8:04Speaker 1: gets inside of the Hilton, is able to stay there
- 8:07Speaker 1: for a day or two. And then just right then,
- 8:10Speaker 1: he's pretty far into the security perimeter already, and he
- 8:13Speaker 1: put in basically no effort. Basically no effort. You know,
- 8:17Speaker 1: you think about the amount of effort that the 9-11
- 8:22Speaker 1: hijackers put into their attack from getting trained on how
- 8:27Speaker 1: to operate an airplane. And, you know, of course, nobody
- 8:30Speaker 1: was like questioning the fact that they didn't bother to
- 8:32Speaker 1: learn how to land them. And, you know, the process
- 8:36Speaker 1: of getting into the country and all of the sort
- 8:38Speaker 1: of logistics that were involved in conducting that horrific terror
- 8:42Speaker 1: attack on the United States, this guy basically did nothing.
- 8:44Speaker 1: He just brought some weapons with him, books a hotel room,
- 8:46Speaker 1: and he is already 90% of the way through the security,
- 8:50Speaker 1: 90% of the way to causing the kind of chaos
- 8:53Speaker 1: that could really up in the country. And I said
- 8:56Speaker 1: to you yesterday, just imagine if this was a more
- 8:58Speaker 1: committed group of commandos, like well-trained people. I was talking
- 9:03Speaker 1: to my dad yesterday, the general colonizer, I was talking
- 9:05Speaker 1: about this with him. And I was like, just imagine.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I was reiterating the point I was making on the
- 9:10Speaker 1: podcast with you yesterday. Just imagine if these guys were
- 9:13Speaker 1: actually trained professionals going in on a suicide mission, how
- 9:17Speaker 1: much damage could six to 10 determined, capable warriors do
- 9:22Speaker 1: if they started barreling into the room and trying to
- 9:24Speaker 1: cause chaos. And my dad was like, oh, if they
- 9:28Speaker 1: got that far, all it would have took is a grenade.
- 9:30Speaker 1: They could have really, they really could have caused damage
- 9:33Speaker 1: getting into a room like that. And I was like,
- 9:35Speaker 1: you know, it's crazy. It's crazy to me that it
- 9:37Speaker 1: got this far. So, you know, one of the big
- 9:40Speaker 1: themes here this week, and unfortunately we've had to do
- 9:42Speaker 1: this theme before as the president has survived subsequent assassination attempts,
- 9:47Speaker 1: is what the hell's going on at the Secret Service?
- 9:50Speaker 1: What the hell is going on? How does it get
- 9:53Speaker 1: this far? How is it that the president is this
- 9:56Speaker 1: vulnerable to an attack? If not the president, certainly a
- 9:58Speaker 1: Secret Service protected site. As I said yesterday, the president
- 10:02Speaker 1: gets whisked away off the back of the stage.
- 10:04Speaker 4: J.D.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Vance gets whisked away out the back of the stage.
- 10:05Speaker 1: They clearly have an exit strategy for how to get
- 10:08Speaker 1: him away from danger. But you've got a whole room
- 10:11Speaker 1: full of people, some of whom are Secret Service protectees,
- 10:15Speaker 1: that are sitting ducks inside of this room that's basically
- 10:18Speaker 1: a fire hazard. You can't move very easily through it,
- 10:20Speaker 1: hard to escape quickly. They could have really, really done damage.
- 10:25Speaker 1: And I'm grateful that they caught the one guy who
- 10:28Speaker 1: tried to do this. But hopefully that's the last test
- 10:31Speaker 1: run of the security concerns that we have of the
- 10:33Speaker 1: Secret Service. Because once the guy gets through, This is
- 10:39Speaker 1: what I want to get to next. Once the guy
- 10:41Speaker 1: gets through the magnetometer, he sprints through it. You see
- 10:45Speaker 1: all these agents draw their weapons. And when they do,
- 10:49Speaker 1: presumably they're exchanging gunfire with the guy, right? Because even
- 10:53Speaker 1: inside the room, you heard, you could hear the sounds
- 10:55Speaker 1: of gunfire outside. Clearly there's gunfire going on in the hallway. Gunfire.
- 11:01Speaker 1: So how is it? Just do the math with me.
- 11:03Speaker 1: How is it that only one person was shot and
- 11:06Speaker 1: it wasn't the suspect? It was a Secret Service agent
- 11:09Speaker 1: who took. We're not even clear that he took a
- 11:13Speaker 1: shotgun shell to the chest, that he took shot to
- 11:16Speaker 1: the chest. It sounds like he may have been struck
- 11:19Speaker 1: by another agent. Let me walk you through what Todd
- 11:24Speaker 1: Blanch told us yesterday. They're not trying to conceal anything,
- 11:26Speaker 1: by the way. They're just saying they're conducting an investigation
- 11:28Speaker 1: on the subject. But it's starting to sound a lot
- 11:31Speaker 1: like what happened this weekend was a case of friendly fire.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Listen to Todd Blanch describe the agent hearing a quote,
- 11:40Speaker 1: the Secret Service hearing a quote, loud gunshot. This is
- 11:43Speaker 1: cut for Todd Blanch.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Approximately at 840 on the night of April 25th, Allen
- 11:51Speaker 2: approached the security checkpoint on the terrace level of the hotel,
- 11:55Speaker 2: which is, again, a floor above where the dinner was
- 11:57Speaker 2: taking place. He ran through the magnumometer holding a long gun.
- 12:02Speaker 2: As he did so, U.S. Secret Service personnel assigned to
- 12:06Speaker 2: the checkpoint heard a loud gunshot. One Secret Service officer
- 12:11Speaker 2: was shot in the chest but was wearing a ballistic
- 12:14Speaker 2: vest that worked. This heroic officer who was hit fired
- 12:19Speaker 2: five times at Allen, who was not shot but fell
- 12:23Speaker 2: to the ground and was promptly arrested.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Todd Blanch would further reiterate throughout the press conference, he
- 12:31Speaker 1: was asked a follow-up question about, is it just the
- 12:34Speaker 1: one agent who fired or did other agents fire? And
- 12:38Speaker 1: he said that he wanted to be careful with the
- 12:40Speaker 1: way he answered the question, but he made it sound
- 12:43Speaker 1: like it was the single agent who discharged his weapon,
- 12:46Speaker 1: apparently the same agent who took the shot to the chest,
- 12:50Speaker 1: I don't even know how that's possible, assuming that's federal-friendly fire.
- 12:53Speaker 1: But anyway, he made it sound like it's very likely
- 12:57Speaker 1: one agent fired five times. Again, the suspect never hit.
- 13:03Speaker 1: The suspect was never hit. Now, Todd Blanch did say
- 13:07Speaker 1: that the suspect did discharge his shotgun. It's a pump-action shotgun.
- 13:13Speaker 1: The casing for the shell... was never discharged from the
- 13:16Speaker 1: weapon because the suspect never pumped it, which would eject
- 13:21Speaker 1: the cartridge, the shell cartridge, the shell casing. So here
- 13:27Speaker 1: is Todd Blanch describing that yesterday. Cut six, listen.
- 13:32Speaker 5: You can explain the discharging of weapon charge at this point.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Well, he's charged with violating 924C, discharge of a firearm
- 13:41Speaker 2: during a crime of violence. So By definition, that charge
- 13:45Speaker 2: means that it was discharged. I can tell you from
- 13:47Speaker 2: what I know with the understanding that we're a day
- 13:50Speaker 2: and a half in that this is the gun that
- 13:54Speaker 2: he discharged. And as those of us that have ever
- 13:57Speaker 2: shot one of these know, what happens when you shoot
- 13:59Speaker 2: that is the casing stays inside the firearm. And then
- 14:03Speaker 2: if you reload it, it pops it out. My understanding
- 14:06Speaker 2: is that it was inside the firearm, but not hadn't
- 14:10Speaker 2: been ejected which means that that it hadn't been pulled
- 14:13Speaker 2: back again you.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Got that so his his gun had gone off once
- 14:20Speaker 1: he's he clearly he pulls the trigger once um not
- 14:23Speaker 1: clear at this hour who he was pointing at or
- 14:27Speaker 1: if it was an accidental discharge or what the circumstances
- 14:30Speaker 1: are there uh but again um he was never he
- 14:33Speaker 1: was never struck he was never struck um Here it is,
- 14:39Speaker 1: Todd Blanche describing cut five, that he does believe the
- 14:44Speaker 1: gunman fired the weapon again, but did acknowledge that the
- 14:47Speaker 1: Secret Service agent might have been struck. The one who
- 14:49Speaker 1: took the shot to the chest may have been struck
- 14:51Speaker 1: by friendly fire. Listen to this.
- 14:53Speaker 6: Have you been able to determine whether the gunman fired shots?
- 14:58Speaker 3: If so, how many shots he fired and who exactly,
- 15:01Speaker 3: whose bullet hit the agent?
- 15:04Speaker 1: We're still, we want to get that right.
- 15:06Speaker 2: So we're still looking at that. It appears- And I
- 15:09Speaker 2: don't want to overstate, because we are still looking at this,
- 15:12Speaker 2: that there were five shots that.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Law enforcement fired.
- 15:17Speaker 2: All the evidence is being examined very carefully and expeditiously,
- 15:21Speaker 2: and we'll know more soon. We do believe that, as
- 15:24Speaker 2: the complaint lays out, that the suspect, that the defendant
- 15:27Speaker 2: fired out of his shotgun, and we know that that happened.
- 15:30Speaker 2: But as far as getting into exacting ballistics, I'm not
- 15:34Speaker 2: going to do that today because it's still being looked
- 15:37Speaker 2: at and finalized.
- 15:41Speaker 1: So I don't know if you're picking up what they're
- 15:43Speaker 1: putting down like I am, but it sounds a lot
- 15:45Speaker 1: like this is a friendly fire incident. Now, I'm not
- 15:48Speaker 1: saying that these never happen. Clearly, something like this could happen.
- 15:50Speaker 1: It's a chaotic situation. Gunfire is being exchanged. You're watching
- 15:53Speaker 1: a guy with a gun run towards the ballroom with
- 15:55Speaker 1: a Secret Service protectee. This is a huge national security crisis.
- 16:00Speaker 1: These guys have to move very swiftly under immense pressure
- 16:04Speaker 1: and make very rapid fire, literally rapid fire decisions here. So, yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 1: things can happen. Things can happen. These unfortunate circumstances. And
- 16:12Speaker 1: thank God that that agent was wearing that vest. And
- 16:14Speaker 1: thank God that that agent's doing well. Left the hospital
- 16:18Speaker 1: of his own volition. Sounds like he's going to be
- 16:20Speaker 1: just fine. Talked to the president of the United States.
- 16:22Speaker 1: That's all wonderful, wonderful news. But this guy sustained no
- 16:27Speaker 1: injuries but a rug burn. The suspect. Jeanine Pirro described
- 16:32Speaker 1: yesterday that the only thing that happened was the guy tripped.
- 16:37Speaker 1: And he scraped his knee. Listen to Jean Pirro describing
- 16:41Speaker 1: what happened to the suspect who ran in with guns
- 16:43Speaker 1: to kill the president.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Thank goodness law enforcement, the Secret Service, was able to
- 16:49Speaker 4: prevent him from getting into that ballroom. He was not
- 16:53Speaker 4: injured other than some kind of scrape on his knee.
- 16:58Speaker 1: They got a rug burn. That's why, you know, when
- 17:01Speaker 1: I saw the photos this week, guys, when the president
- 17:04Speaker 1: of the United States puts the photos up Saturday night,
- 17:07Speaker 1: of the suspect lying on the ground. He's like completely conscious.
- 17:11Speaker 1: His face is on the ground. And I'm sitting, did
- 17:13Speaker 1: you look at that too and go, where's the blood?
- 17:16Speaker 1: I mean, you would think if there was an exchange
- 17:18Speaker 1: of gunfire and there's a bunch of cops around, they
- 17:20Speaker 1: would have shot him, that he would have been shot.
- 17:23Speaker 1: But apparently he tripped and then they just jumped on
- 17:27Speaker 1: top of him. Rightfully so, they tackled him. But Crazy,
- 17:31Speaker 1: just absolutely crazy. So an agent misses five shots, maybe
- 17:35Speaker 1: more than one agent misses five shots on the guy.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And it reminded me of the fact that we had
- 17:42Speaker 1: the same circumstance. Do you guys remember the Ryan Ruth incident?
- 17:46Speaker 1: When Ryan Ruth, the Ukrainian who got into the Bushes
- 17:49Speaker 1: to try and assassinate President Trump in Florida. Chad, do
- 17:54Speaker 1: you remember what happened there? So we had an agent
- 17:58Speaker 1: walking ahead of the president of the United States, kind
- 18:00Speaker 1: of a lead agent, an advanced agent, walking ahead of
- 18:03Speaker 1: the president of the United States, like a golf, like
- 18:05Speaker 1: a hole or two. This was September of 2024. And
- 18:10Speaker 1: he's walking right near the bushes. Remember, the early reports
- 18:15Speaker 1: seem to suggest that the agent was at a great
- 18:17Speaker 1: distance away from Ryan Ruth. And then we found out, actually,
- 18:21Speaker 1: he was just five feet away. The agent was five
- 18:25Speaker 1: feet away from Ryan Ruth. in the tree line, and
- 18:30Speaker 1: suddenly he sees Ruth in the trees with a gun,
- 18:35Speaker 1: whips at him, and starts firing on him, fires six
- 18:38Speaker 1: times from five feet away, and misses every shot. Every
- 18:46Speaker 1: single shot. In fact, here's the language from the House report.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Let me take this, let me show this to you.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I think I've got it here. Page 131. Here it is.
- 19:02Speaker 1: This is the House report on the subject, West Palm
- 19:05Speaker 1: Beach findings and recommendations. The morning of September 15th, 2024,
- 19:09Speaker 1: former President Trump and a protective team of U.S. Secret
- 19:14Speaker 1: Service personnel depart Mar-a-Lago to head to Trump International Golf Club,
- 19:18Speaker 1: West Palm Beach. At approximately 1.30 p.m., former President Trump
- 19:21Speaker 1: was on the redacted hull of the golf course. when
- 19:25Speaker 1: a Secret Service site agent who was riding along the
- 19:27Speaker 1: fence line conducting a, and then they redacted, noticed an
- 19:30Speaker 1: individual by the fence line on the external perimeter of
- 19:35Speaker 1: the redacted green. The agent first notices the suspect, later
- 19:39Speaker 1: identified as Ryan Wesley Ruth, and then noticed the barrel
- 19:45Speaker 1: of Ruth's gun sticking through the fence line. The special agent,
- 19:48Speaker 1: who may have been as close as five feet away
- 19:51Speaker 1: from Ruth, immediately responded by firing shots toward the suspect.
- 19:56Speaker 1: It is believed six shots in total were fired. However,
- 20:00Speaker 1: final ballistics are pending an ongoing FBI investigation. The suspect
- 20:05Speaker 1: then fled across redacted which is the multi-lane road that
- 20:10Speaker 1: encircles the golf club, and then he gets into a vehicle.
- 20:12Speaker 1: The only reason that they were able to track the vehicle,
- 20:14Speaker 1: the guy almost got away. The reason they tracked him
- 20:17Speaker 1: is because a good Samaritan, a woman, a witness, sees
- 20:20Speaker 1: him jump into the car and all of the chaos
- 20:23Speaker 1: around that, writes his license plate number down, and then
- 20:26Speaker 1: hands it off to law enforcement. They're able to get
- 20:28Speaker 1: him on the highway pretty quickly after that, which was
- 20:31Speaker 1: good news. Five feet away. Now, I'm seeing some people
- 20:35Speaker 1: in chat who are being, I think, a little overly
- 20:37Speaker 1: generous here to the agents because, look, again, I'm grateful
- 20:42Speaker 1: for the heroism. Love the heroism. What I'm concerned about,
- 20:46Speaker 1: and for those of you who've worked in law enforcement,
- 20:48Speaker 1: you can speak better to this than I can, or
- 20:50Speaker 1: if you've worked in the United States military, or you've
- 20:53Speaker 1: worked in security of any kind, to what extent does
- 20:56Speaker 1: training play a role in your ability to successfully execute
- 21:01Speaker 1: your mission at that moment that you don't expect to arrive?
- 21:04Speaker 1: But when it does, then you can pull it off successfully.
- 21:07Speaker 1: That you can strike a target at five feet away
- 21:12Speaker 1: with six attempts. Or that you can strike a target
- 21:16Speaker 1: with all these guns drawn, people firing at this guy
- 21:19Speaker 1: as he's running just a couple feet away from you
- 21:22Speaker 1: inside of a ball, towards a ballroom where the president
- 21:25Speaker 1: of the United States waits. What kind of training are
- 21:28Speaker 1: these guys doing? How frequently are they doing it? It
- 21:31Speaker 1: sounds like they've got quarterly training range time? How much
- 21:36Speaker 1: under stress time are they doing it? How much time
- 21:38Speaker 1: where they have to do it at a heightened state
- 21:40Speaker 1: of anxiety? How routinely are those trainings being conducted? Are
- 21:45Speaker 1: these guys being overworked? Are they working so many hours
- 21:47Speaker 1: that they don't actually have time to get their qualifications done,
- 21:50Speaker 1: to do their trainings? These are deeper questions. I'm just
- 21:53Speaker 1: asking them simply because I want the leadership of the
- 21:56Speaker 1: Secret Service to to successfully handle that agency in such
- 22:00Speaker 1: a way that the president of the United States is
- 22:02Speaker 1: not killed. That's why I'm focused on this. That's why
- 22:07Speaker 1: I'm focused on this. There's a reason we arm the
- 22:09Speaker 1: Secret Service. It's not merely so that they can miss
- 22:12Speaker 1: a bunch of shots. It's so they can successfully shoot
- 22:15Speaker 1: center mass and take down a threat. That's why they're armed. Otherwise,
- 22:20Speaker 1: what's the point? This is what I'm asking. So we're
- 22:28Speaker 1: going to– coming up, I've got more on this. We're
- 22:30Speaker 1: going to talk to Susan Crabtree about it, but I
- 22:32Speaker 1: have to take– I've gone long. I've gone long on this.
- 22:34Speaker 1: I've got to thank one of the sponsors who do
- 22:36Speaker 1: make this show possible so we can have these conversations.
- 22:39Speaker 1: It's a great sponsor who loves our country just like
- 22:41Speaker 1: you do, Patriot Mobile. I love Patriot Mobile. America is
- 22:44Speaker 1: about to celebrate its 250th anniversary. We're coming up on
- 22:47Speaker 1: it so fast. July 4th is almost here. Not quite,
- 22:50Speaker 1: but it's getting there. And I believe the direction of
- 22:52Speaker 1: this country is being decided right now in our culture,
- 22:55Speaker 1: in our economy, and who we choose to support matters
- 22:57Speaker 1: more than ever. Most wireless companies don't care who you
- 23:00Speaker 1: are or what you believe. They just want your money.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile, different. For more than 12 years now, they've
- 23:05Speaker 1: stood with Americans who believe that freedom is worth defending,
- 23:08Speaker 1: supporting the Christian conservative movement when others stayed silent. And
- 23:12Speaker 1: here's the deal. You don't have to give up quality.
- 23:14Speaker 1: You don't have to give up service when you switch
- 23:16Speaker 1: to Patriot Mobile. They deliver premium priority access on all
- 23:19Speaker 1: three major U.S. networks, so you get the same or
- 23:22Speaker 1: better coverage than you have today. Think switching's a hassle?
- 23:25Speaker 1: It's not. Keep your number, keep your phone, or even upgrade.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Their 100% U.S.-based support team can activate you in minutes.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Still paying off a device? Patriot Mobile even offers a
- 23:35Speaker 1: contract buyout. This is a defining year. We've all got
- 23:38Speaker 1: to work together to save our country. I recommend you
- 23:40Speaker 1: go to PatriotMobile.com slash Vince or call 972-PATRIOT Use that
- 23:45Speaker 1: promo code Vince, get a free month of service. That's patriotmobile.com
- 23:50Speaker 1: slash Vince. Call 972-PATRIOT and make the switch today. Thank
- 23:56Speaker 1: you to Patriot Mobile for being an amazing sponsor of
- 23:58Speaker 1: our program. So it seems pretty clear to me that
- 24:04Speaker 1: the announcement we're going to get at some point, some
- 24:06Speaker 1: confirmation here, is that the agent who was hit in
- 24:08Speaker 1: the vest was hit by friendly fire. And we now
- 24:11Speaker 1: know that the suspect was never hit in the course
- 24:13Speaker 1: of at least five shots that were fired by Secret
- 24:16Speaker 1: Service agents. And this is not the first time we've
- 24:19Speaker 1: seen something like this. So you go from assassination attempt
- 24:23Speaker 1: to assassination attempt, and each one of those consists of
- 24:28Speaker 1: clear lessons learned. Like how do we fix this? For instance,
- 24:31Speaker 1: do we secure a roof in Butler, Pennsylvania with a
- 24:35Speaker 1: clear line of sight to the president of the United States?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Do we have radio systems that can actually communicate with
- 24:42Speaker 1: one another? So when a local cop is screaming into
- 24:45Speaker 1: a radio that there's a shooter on the roof, the
- 24:47Speaker 1: Secret Service can actually hear it. Do we fix those things?
- 24:52Speaker 1: Do we fix things like an agent seeing Ryan Ruth
- 24:56Speaker 1: and firing at him six times from five feet away
- 24:59Speaker 1: and not striking him? Can we fix that? Can we
- 25:02Speaker 1: prevent that from happening? How did he get that close
- 25:04Speaker 1: to begin with? Why is it an agent who's walking
- 25:06Speaker 1: one hole up? What about like just like drone technology?
- 25:11Speaker 1: What about dogs being out there? What about just screening
- 25:13Speaker 1: all this ahead of time? How is it that it
- 25:15Speaker 1: was so insecure? Is the president of the United States?
- 25:20Speaker 1: And then how in this latest assassination attempt, one of many,
- 25:23Speaker 1: by the way, the media keeps saying three. We know
- 25:24Speaker 1: it's a lot more than that. These are just three
- 25:27Speaker 1: very high profile events. In this latest one, how does
- 25:31Speaker 1: a guy get that far into the security perimeter simply
- 25:33Speaker 1: by getting the hotel room, paying the rate for the room,
- 25:36Speaker 1: and boom, he's deep into the security perimeter of one
- 25:40Speaker 1: of the most highly concentrated national security events imaginable when
- 25:44Speaker 1: the entirety of our government at the upper level is
- 25:47Speaker 1: all in the same room. He runs him with all
- 25:50Speaker 1: these guns and knives. Guns and knives. And he had
- 25:54Speaker 1: a lot. That guy was strapped up. He was, I
- 25:56Speaker 1: don't even, first of all, I don't know what kind
- 25:58Speaker 1: of movies this dude is watching. Because I'm like, it
- 26:00Speaker 1: doesn't even make sense, the crap he was running in with.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I was like, what? So he brought a shotgun. He
- 26:06Speaker 1: brought a shotgun. He said that he, for whatever reason,
- 26:11Speaker 1: he was claiming that he was trying to mitigate the damage.
- 26:13Speaker 1: He was hoping to shoot Secret Service agents. In his manifesto,
- 26:16Speaker 1: he said this. In the bulletproof vest with his, with
- 26:18Speaker 1: his shotgun. He's shooting buckshot. I mean, he's going to
- 26:22Speaker 1: destroy people if he's shooting them with buckshot. People are
- 26:25Speaker 1: not surviving this. It's crazy that he talked in any way.
- 26:29Speaker 1: He's a psycho. But look at some of this. So
- 26:35Speaker 1: here's the shotgun that he brought in. That's his shotgun, rumble.com
- 26:39Speaker 1: slash Vince, so you can see it. There's his. 38
- 26:41Speaker 1: caliber handgun. He's also got all these knives. Look at
- 26:46Speaker 1: these knives the guy's carrying. He's got, he's got like,
- 26:51Speaker 1: this looks like, I think like a military style, like
- 26:53Speaker 1: a K-bar knife. Is that right, guys? He's got, he's
- 26:56Speaker 1: got four different knives here. Or is that just like
- 26:59Speaker 1: kind of like a sheath for a knife? So at
- 27:02Speaker 1: least three knives. One of these, is that like a
- 27:04Speaker 1: throwing dagger? What is this? What is that? Chat, what
- 27:08Speaker 1: is this one on the bottom left corner? Is that,
- 27:11Speaker 1: am I wrong in thinking that's supposed to be like
- 27:13Speaker 1: a throwing knife? These are, These are, these are sold
- 27:18Speaker 1: as like amusements. You know, these are, what is this?
- 27:22Speaker 1: The guy, yeah, the guy thought that he was like,
- 27:25Speaker 1: like an anime character. Like he was like, it was, it's, yeah,
- 27:29Speaker 1: it is. It's a, yeah. What, I mean, what? What
- 27:35Speaker 1: was he thinking? Obviously, psychopath. Psychopath. Inflamed by the left
- 27:41Speaker 1: to conduct this attack. But yeah, okay, chat, you're agreeing. Yeah,
- 27:45Speaker 1: it's a throwing knife. Um, yeah.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Anyway, what is this one called? This one on the
- 27:50Speaker 1: top right? What do we call that? A stiletto? What
- 27:53Speaker 1: is that one called? Do we know? Yeah. Whatever. The
- 27:58Speaker 1: point is, psycho. The point is, psycho. And that psycho
- 28:04Speaker 1: made it far, made it that far with that much weaponry.
- 28:07Speaker 1: So forgive me for asking questions about the Secret Service.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I would like the president to survive, please. But let
- 28:13Speaker 1: me tell you first about Rumble Wallet. Rumble Wallet is

- 29:29Speaker 1: to Birch Gold for being such an enduring and great
- 29:32Speaker 1: sponsor of our program. You know, back in 1971, talking
- 29:35Speaker 1: about gold, back in 1971, gold was $ 35 an ounce.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Can you imagine? $ 35 an ounce. Now, today, the United
- 29:40Speaker 1: States dollar has lost 85% of its purchasing power, and
- 29:43Speaker 1: gold has increased in value by over 12,000%. How's that math?
- 29:58Speaker 1: That's wild. And this is why so many central banks
- 30:00Speaker 1: are buying gold at record levels. And that's why major
- 30:03Speaker 1: firms hold significant positions in gold. But it all starts
- 30:06Speaker 1: with education. My friends at the Birch Gold Group have
- 30:10Speaker 1: their learn and earn precious metals event going on right now.
- 30:14Speaker 1: This free online event rewards you for learning the basics
- 30:17Speaker 1: of investing in precious metals. You can sign up to
- 30:19Speaker 1: get free silver on your next purchase if you qualify.
- 30:22Speaker 1: And you can get even larger incentives as you go.
- 30:24Speaker 1: The more you learn, the more you can earn. but
- 30:27Speaker 1: you've got to act now as this special event only
- 30:29Speaker 1: runs through April 30th. The dollar lost its anchor in 1971.
- 30:33Speaker 1: You don't have to lose yours. Text my name, Vince,
- 30:36Speaker 1: to the number 989898 to join Birch Gold's Learn and
- 30:40Speaker 1: Earn Precious Metals event by April 30th. Text Vince to
- 30:44Speaker 1: 989898 today. Message and data rates may apply. Why don't
- 30:49Speaker 1: we focus for a moment on how we got here?
- 30:53Speaker 1: How is it that we get this like psychopath that,
- 30:56Speaker 1: writes this manifesto full of left wing, blue ski, Ms. Now,
- 31:01Speaker 1: CNN conspiracy theories. How did we get here? Well, Caroline
- 31:05Speaker 1: Leavitt took the lectern yesterday in the White House press
- 31:08Speaker 1: briefing room. She wasn't expected to. She was supposed to
- 31:11Speaker 1: be on maternity leave. Remember, Caroline Leavitt ended last week
- 31:15Speaker 1: and went on maternity leave and said, goodbye, everybody. I
- 31:17Speaker 1: got to have a baby. And so the last event
- 31:19Speaker 1: that she was doing was going to be this White
- 31:21Speaker 1: House Correspondents Dinner seated alongside President Trump.
- 31:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Well, because another lunatic lefty attacked the event, she decided
- 31:30Speaker 1: it was incumbent upon her to return to the lectern
- 31:33Speaker 1: on Monday. And this is what she produced. Take a
- 31:36Speaker 1: look at Caroline Leavitt excoriating the Democrats who have breathed
- 31:40Speaker 1: life into this violence. Here she is. Cut seven.
- 31:43Speaker 5: The entire Democrat Party has made their. pitch to voters
- 31:48Speaker 5: across the country that Donald Trump poses an existential threat
- 31:50Speaker 5: to democracy, that he is a fascist and that they
- 31:53Speaker 5: compare him to Hitler.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Rep.
- 31:55Speaker 5: Hakeem Jeffries just this April, this month said, we are
- 31:58Speaker 5: in an era of maximum warfare everywhere all the time.
- 32:02Speaker 5: Governor Josh Shapiro said heads need to roll. within the administration.
- 32:07Speaker 5: Senator Alex Padilla said people are quote dying because of
- 32:11Speaker 5: fear and terror caused by the Trump administration. Senator Elizabeth Warren,
- 32:15Speaker 5: President Trump is making the country look like a quote
- 32:17Speaker 5: fascist state. Senator Adam Schiff saying President Trump using a
- 32:22Speaker 5: dictator playbook. Senator Ed Markey calling President Trump a dictator
- 32:26Speaker 5: saying that this administration's actions are authoritarianism On steroids, Governor J.B. Pritzker,
- 32:32Speaker 5: never before in my life have I called for mass
- 32:34Speaker 5: protest disruptions. These Republicans cannot know a moment of peace.
- 32:39Speaker 5: You have Rep. Presley saying, we'll see you in the streets.
- 32:43Speaker 5: Monica McIver, a Democrat representative on Capitol Hill, we will
- 32:47Speaker 5: not take this shit from Donald Trump. He thinks he's
- 32:49Speaker 5: a dictator. We are at war. These are Democrat elected
- 32:53Speaker 5: officials calling for war against the president of the United
- 32:56Speaker 5: States and his supporters.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Yeah, where did the left ever get this idea that
- 33:01Speaker 1: they're at war with President Trump? Where did they ever
- 33:03Speaker 1: get the idea that he's a fascist, a dictator, an authoritarian?
- 33:07Speaker 1: Where did they ever get the idea that they have
- 33:08Speaker 1: a moral obligation to save the country by killing the
- 33:11Speaker 1: president of the United States? How did they arrive at
- 33:13Speaker 1: that conclusion? And the answer to that is quite clearly
- 33:16Speaker 1: every single one of these outrageous, radical establishment Democrats who
- 33:24Speaker 1: know the kind of psychopaths who compose some of the
- 33:29Speaker 1: base of their party. They know this, and yet they
- 33:32Speaker 1: use this language anyway, out of fear, perhaps, of their
- 33:35Speaker 1: own base, or knowing that this is the kind of
- 33:39Speaker 1: chaos that they think they can exploit for their own power.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Either scenario is absolutely vile. Now, none of this will
- 33:47Speaker 1: be surprising to you. None of this is surprising to me.
- 33:51Speaker 1: It's not shocking, but it's definitely appalling. It's definitely appalling.
- 33:55Speaker 1: These Democrats... are not showing any signs of slowing down either.
- 33:59Speaker 1: You know, Hakeem Jeffries yesterday, upon hearing the news of
- 34:03Speaker 1: Caroline Leavitt's press conference, he raged in his own sort
- 34:07Speaker 1: of low IQ way about it, rather than pausing for
- 34:11Speaker 1: a moment and admitting that he has been a part
- 34:14Speaker 1: of the poison that has diminished this country. Here's Hakeem
- 34:17Speaker 1: Jeffries learning nothing yesterday. Watch this.
- 34:19Speaker 7: So-called White House press secretary, who's a disgrace, he's a
- 34:23Speaker 7: stone cold liar, had the nerve to stand up there
- 34:29Speaker 7: and read talking points being critical of statements all taken
- 34:33Speaker 7: out of context that Democrats have made and didn't have
- 34:37Speaker 7: a word to say about anything that MAGA extremists have
- 34:42Speaker 7: said or done, including providing aid and comfort to violent
- 34:47Speaker 7: insurrectionists here at this Capitol on January 6th.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Psycho. Absolute psycho. speaking and sitting on ridiculous talking points.
- 34:56Speaker 1: That's exactly what Hakeem Jeffries is doing. January 6th, January 6th,
- 35:00Speaker 1: you're pathetic. You are absolutely pathetic. All of this violence
- 35:05Speaker 1: is headed in one direction. It's from the left to
- 35:08Speaker 1: the right. All of the chaos is coming from one place.
- 35:11Speaker 1: It's your party. All of the destruction is being sown
- 35:15Speaker 1: by the leaders of just one party. It's yours, the Democrats.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Republican voters and Republican leaders, the President Trump, namely, are
- 35:26Speaker 1: fighting to restore order to the country. When he says
- 35:29Speaker 1: make America great again, he doesn't mean assassinate Democrats. He
- 35:34Speaker 1: hasn't called for hurting his political opponents. Nothing like that.
- 35:39Speaker 1: He's calling for law and order. He's calling for sovereignty.
- 35:42Speaker 1: He's calling for safety for American citizens. The president straight
- 35:46Speaker 1: up deploys the National Guard and federal law enforcement to
- 35:50Speaker 1: American cities to restore order, not to deliver chaos. Yet
- 35:55Speaker 1: you people are in the streets assaulting federal law enforcement.
- 36:00Speaker 1: And I don't just mean Democrat voters. I mean, Democrat officials.
- 36:04Speaker 1: The aforementioned LaMonica McIver was in the streets shoving ICE
- 36:09Speaker 1: officers at an immigration facility in New Jersey, and she
- 36:13Speaker 1: was federally charged for assaulting ICE officers. You've got Democrat
- 36:18Speaker 1: officials who constantly are either impeding law enforcement or openly
- 36:23Speaker 1: assaulting them. And then right now, Congress is in the
- 36:27Speaker 1: midst of this ridiculous funding battle where Democrats are trying
- 36:31Speaker 1: to defund ICE and Border Patrol to get rid of
- 36:35Speaker 1: immigration enforcement in the United States, get our borders back open,
- 36:39Speaker 1: and allow the invasion to continue. You are agents of chaos.
- 36:44Speaker 1: You're a bunch of AOCs all over the place. So
- 36:47Speaker 1: anytime you hear Hakeem Jeffries raging in this way, he's
- 36:50Speaker 1: just projection. It's a series of talking points, and they're
- 36:53Speaker 1: the bad ones. to you. You're the problem. You're the problem.
- 36:58Speaker 1: And you've learned literally nothing. You've learned literally nothing from
- 37:01Speaker 1: this experience, this awful experience that the country just went
- 37:04Speaker 1: through this weekend yet again. Now, the White House reminded
- 37:07Speaker 1: Hakeem Jeffries that he's been the problem. They just posted
- 37:11Speaker 1: to social media overnight the following. In fact, they posted
- 37:16Speaker 1: at 7, 7, 16 p.m. Eastern time last night. They
- 37:19Speaker 1: posted this clip of him And they said, you know,
- 37:22Speaker 1: none of the examples that the press secretary cited were
- 37:26Speaker 1: taken out of context, Representative Jeffries. You guys are just
- 37:29Speaker 1: unhinged and radical. For example, here's you calling on people
- 37:33Speaker 1: to fight the Trump agenda in the streets. Yeah, here's
- 37:37Speaker 1: the dial-up Democrat, Hakeem Jeffries, in his own low IQ way,
- 37:41Speaker 1: calling for people to fight in the streets.
- 37:44Speaker 7: We are going to fight it. Legislatively, we are going
- 37:48Speaker 7: to fight it in the courts. and we're gonna fight
- 37:53Speaker 7: it in the streets.
- 37:54Speaker 1: We are gonna- We're gonna fight it in the streets.
- 37:57Speaker 1: The hell does that mean? Other than everything that we've
- 38:00Speaker 1: witnessed in the streets. When the Democrats fight in the streets,
- 38:05Speaker 1: they burn down police precincts. When Democrats fight in the streets,
- 38:09Speaker 1: they kill David Dorn. When Democrats fight in the streets,
- 38:14Speaker 1: they cause billions of dollars of damage, and they kill
- 38:17Speaker 1: dozens of people in the summer of George Floyd. That's
- 38:20Speaker 1: what they do. That's how Democrats fight in the streets.
- 38:24Speaker 1: And then if you question it, you're a racist. If
- 38:27Speaker 1: you question it, you're the bigot. You're the bad person. Oh,
- 38:30Speaker 1: what do you support? Systemic racism. It's like so crazy.
- 38:34Speaker 1: It's like, no, I don't want to see my country destroyed.
- 38:37Speaker 1: I want law and order. What's wrong with you? What's
- 38:39Speaker 1: wrong with you? The thirst for power. That's what's wrong
- 38:42Speaker 1: with them. The unbridled, unconstrained, immoral, thirst for power. That's
- 38:51Speaker 1: the answer to that question. And that's how you're going
- 38:54Speaker 1: to destroy the country if you succeed. That's how you're
- 38:57Speaker 1: going to wreck the whole thing. And this is what
- 38:58Speaker 1: we're trying to prevent. All we're trying to do is
- 39:01Speaker 1: restore order. This is why people on the right don't
- 39:02Speaker 1: call for violence. This is why the people on the
- 39:04Speaker 1: right are not itching for a civil war or anything
- 39:07Speaker 1: like that, because people on the right want to restore
- 39:10Speaker 1: the country that they were born into. They're just looking
- 39:14Speaker 1: to create stability and peace for their children and grandchildren.
- 39:17Speaker 1: They're like very aware of of the costs of bloodshed.
- 39:22Speaker 1: They're aware of the costs of violence. In many cases,
- 39:24Speaker 1: they've had to endure it either at home or abroad.
- 39:27Speaker 1: American conservatives are by and large who compose our veterans,
- 39:30Speaker 1: our military. They know the costs of what it means
- 39:34Speaker 1: to preserve our liberty and have a sincere appreciation for
- 39:38Speaker 1: this country. And so we don't have this sort of
- 39:40Speaker 1: like short-sighted, demented thirst for power that involves violence against
- 39:46Speaker 1: our countrymen. That That way lies utter chaos. And the Democrats,
- 39:52Speaker 1: they just keep breathing life into it. They keep inflaming
- 39:54Speaker 1: these weak and vicious minds. Now, we saw also Hakeem Jeffries,
- 40:01Speaker 1: one more for you. Hakeem Jeffries yesterday, he doubled down.
- 40:04Speaker 1: You know, again, he's just sticking to his sheet music here.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Last week, he said in the wake of the Virginia
- 40:11Speaker 1: election that they were going to continue to try and
- 40:13Speaker 1: make Americans suffer. He promised maximum warfare on the American people.
- 40:18Speaker 1: I commented on it at the time. And here he
- 40:20Speaker 1: is again, doubling down on it yesterday. Cut nine, watch this.
- 40:24Speaker 7: The notion that any of us are concerned with so-called
- 40:30Speaker 7: criticism from these phony Republicans as it relates to anything
- 40:36Speaker 7: that has been said, certainly as it relates to the
- 40:40Speaker 7: comment related to maximum warfare everywhere, all the time, in
- 40:46Speaker 7: connection with the redistricting battle that Republicans launched. I stand
- 40:51Speaker 7: by it. You can continue to criticize me for it.
- 40:56Speaker 7: I don't give a damn about your criticism.
- 41:01Speaker 1: That is the leader of the Democrats in the House
- 41:03Speaker 1: saying he doesn't give a damn about you. I don't
- 41:08Speaker 1: give a damn what the American people think, said Hakeem Jeffries.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Screw him. I'm going to keep saying it. I'm going
- 41:16Speaker 1: to double down on this. I don't care that an
- 41:19Speaker 1: entire room of the government's top officials were just imperiled
- 41:23Speaker 1: by a terrorist. I don't care. I don't give a
- 41:27Speaker 1: damn about that. I'm going to keep talking like a
- 41:30Speaker 1: reckless lunatic and inflaming these weak and vicious minds. Try
- 41:34Speaker 1: and stop me. What a psycho. What a complete psycho.
- 41:39Speaker 1: What an intemperate moron who should not be in anywhere...
- 41:43Speaker 1: and anywhere close to power, yet there he is. Hakeem
- 41:47Speaker 1: freaking Jeffries. He's not the only one. You know, you've got, fortunately,
- 41:52Speaker 1: this man doesn't have power, but he's got, you know,
- 41:54Speaker 1: he's got a big show, thanks to Disney and ABC.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Jimmy Kimmel. I played a clip for you yesterday of
- 42:02Speaker 1: Jimmy Kimmel laughing about the prospect of President Trump dying.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Apparently it was Thursday night last week. I said Friday night.
- 42:12Speaker 1: It was Thursday night that he put this together. They
- 42:14Speaker 1: did some what he called a comedy sketch where he
- 42:17Speaker 1: pretended to be the entertainment at the White House Correspondents Dinner.
- 42:22Speaker 1: And in this sketch, he joked about, Melania joked about,
- 42:26Speaker 1: in gayer quotes, Melania Trump having the glow of an
- 42:30Speaker 1: expectant widow, that it's very funny that President Trump could die.
- 42:36Speaker 1: That's obviously what he thought was the joke and that
- 42:39Speaker 1: Melania Trump would be excited about it. because I don't
- 42:43Speaker 1: know why. It's also psychotic. But Kimmel did this on
- 42:46Speaker 1: a Disney-funded operation on Thursday. And we called it out
- 42:52Speaker 1: yesterday morning. I'm like, look at this. This is one
- 42:54Speaker 1: of these guys. He's like, you know, just normalizing this
- 42:56Speaker 1: kind of rooting for Donald Trump to die attitudes that
- 43:00Speaker 1: has overtaken the whole American left, so many of them.
- 43:03Speaker 1: And the first lady of the United States came out
- 43:05Speaker 1: yesterday and she said, enough is enough. This guy needs
- 43:08Speaker 1: to go. He needs to be fired. And good for
- 43:10Speaker 1: her for calling for this. Here's what she said yesterday.
- 43:13Speaker 1: She said, Kimmel's hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to
- 43:16Speaker 1: divide our country. His monologue about my family isn't comedy.
- 43:20Speaker 1: His words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.
- 43:24Speaker 1: People like Kimmel shouldn't have the opportunity to enter our
- 43:27Speaker 1: homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides
- 43:30Speaker 1: behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running
- 43:34Speaker 1: cover to protect him. Enough is enough. It's time for
- 43:37Speaker 1: ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC's
- 43:40Speaker 1: leadership enable Kimmel's atrocious behavior at the expense of our community? Perfect.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Absolutely perfect from the first lady of the United States.
- 43:49Speaker 1: I saw some people yesterday going, the government should stay
- 43:52Speaker 1: out of this. Melania Trump's not the government. Melania Trump
- 43:54Speaker 1: is a private citizen. She's the first lady of the
- 43:56Speaker 1: United States. Yes, she's married to the president, but she
- 43:59Speaker 1: is a private citizen who's calling for accountability after this
- 44:05Speaker 1: asshole goes on television and tells what no one else
- 44:10Speaker 1: would think of as a joke about how hilarious it
- 44:13Speaker 1: would be if Trump kicked it. What a psycho. Now,
- 44:17Speaker 1: President Trump himself did jump in. He said yesterday, you
- 44:19Speaker 1: know what? Melania's right. This guy needs to be canned
- 44:22Speaker 1: for what he did. Here's the president yesterday on Truth
- 44:25Speaker 1: Social saying the following. He says, you know, Jimmy Kimmel,
- 44:29Speaker 1: who is in no way funny as attested to by
- 44:32Speaker 1: his terrible television ratings, made a statement on his show
- 44:35Speaker 1: that is really shocking. He showed a fake video of
- 44:36Speaker 1: the first lady, Melania, and our son, Barron, like they
- 44:39Speaker 1: were actually sitting in his studio listening to him speak.
- 44:42Speaker 1: They weren't and never would be. He then stated, Quote,
- 44:46Speaker 1: our first lady Melania is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful.
- 44:49Speaker 7: Mrs.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow, end quote.
- 44:53Speaker 1: A day later, a lunatic tried entering the ballroom of
- 44:55Speaker 1: the White House Correspondents Dinner, loaded up with a shotgun, handgun,
- 44:58Speaker 1: and many knives. He was there for an obvious and
- 45:01Speaker 1: sinister reason. I appreciate that so many people are incensed
- 45:05Speaker 1: by Kimmel's despicable call to violence and normally would not
- 45:08Speaker 1: be responsive to anything that he said, but this is
- 45:11Speaker 1: something far beyond the pale. Jimmy Kimmel should be immediately
- 45:14Speaker 1: fired by Disney and ABC. Thank you for your attention
- 45:16Speaker 1: to this matter. President Donald J. Trump. President wasn't the
- 45:21Speaker 1: only one in the administration to jump in here, too,
- 45:23Speaker 1: with the First Lady. Caroline Leavitt also jumped in yesterday.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Here's what she had to say in the White House
- 45:28Speaker 1: press briefing. In the Brady Press briefing room, named after
- 45:33Speaker 1: a man who was shot by yet another would-be assassin,
- 45:38Speaker 1: John Hinckley Jr. Here's Caroline Leavitt yesterday. Cut tense.
- 45:42Speaker 5: Much of the manifesto of the would-be assassin is indistinguishable
- 45:46Speaker 5: from the words that we hear daily from so many.
- 45:49Speaker 5: For example, as the First Lady of the United States
- 45:52Speaker 5: pointed out this morning, just two days prior to the shooting,
- 45:56Speaker 5: ABC's late-night host Jimmy Kemmel disgustingly called First Lady Melania
- 46:00Speaker 5: Trump an expectant widow. Who in their right minds says
- 46:04Speaker 5: a wife would be glowing over the potential murder of
- 46:06Speaker 5: her beloved husband? And having experienced what I did with
- 46:10Speaker 5: the first lady on Saturday night, I can tell you
- 46:12Speaker 5: that she was anything but that. This kind of rhetoric
- 46:15Speaker 5: about the president, the first lady and his supporters is
- 46:18Speaker 5: completely deranged. And it's unbelievable that the American people are
- 46:22Speaker 5: consuming it night after night after night. As President Trump
- 46:26Speaker 5: said on Saturday night at this podium, we as Americans
- 46:29Speaker 5: must recommit ourselves to resolving our differences peacefully and uniting
- 46:33Speaker 5: around the shared values that make our country great. The
- 46:37Speaker 5: deranged lies and smears against the president, his family, his
- 46:41Speaker 5: supporters have led crazy people to believe crazy things, and
- 46:45Speaker 5: they are inspired to commit violence because of those words.
- 46:49Speaker 1: It has to stop.
- 46:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 46:53Speaker 1: You have a responsibility to be responsible with your language.
- 46:56Speaker 1: Language has immense power. Language has immense power. When we
- 47:01Speaker 1: use words, we shape people's thoughts. When you communicate with
- 47:06Speaker 1: your family members, you're shaping their thoughts about the world.
- 47:09Speaker 1: In other words, language is a form of mind control.
- 47:14Speaker 1: It can be. It can be. Now, you have an
- 47:17Speaker 1: obligation to be as honest as possible. If you have
- 47:19Speaker 1: any decency whatsoever, you should be as honest as humanly
- 47:22Speaker 1: possible in your interactions with other people. And in that honesty,
- 47:26Speaker 1: you can establish hard truths and you can make a
- 47:29Speaker 1: healthier environment. You can establish healthy relationships. But if you're
- 47:33Speaker 1: dishonest and if you're sinister, you can really use language
- 47:36Speaker 1: to vicious ends. I mean, language as a biblical matter
- 47:40Speaker 1: is one of the most important things in existence. God
- 47:45Speaker 1: spoke us into creation. In the beginning, there was the word.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Words matter. Words matter. And how you use them matters
- 47:58Speaker 1: a great deal. It's a reminder for all of us
- 48:01Speaker 1: to be more mindful about the way we communicate because
- 48:04Speaker 1: people are listening, especially if you're in a position of power.
- 48:07Speaker 1: I don't know if people realize this, but you should.
- 48:08Speaker 1: I mean, if you have power over other people, whether
- 48:11Speaker 1: you run a household, a family, or a business, everybody's
- 48:14Speaker 1: paying attention to what you say. And then chances are,
- 48:18Speaker 1: especially if you're like in an office environment, they're going
- 48:20Speaker 1: out and they're drinking that night and they're talking about
- 48:22Speaker 1: what you said and they're litigating every syllable because it
- 48:24Speaker 1: affects their lives. And it also gives them something common
- 48:27Speaker 1: to gripe about sometimes, you know, the boss. Whatever, your
- 48:31Speaker 1: words really, really matter. And Jimmy Kimmel's completely out of control. Now,
- 48:37Speaker 1: I've seen somebody in the chat, somebody was saying, and
- 48:39Speaker 1: I get the point, which is like, hey, maybe if
- 48:40Speaker 1: we stop talking about him, it would go away and
- 48:42Speaker 1: wouldn't matter. Like the way to diminish him is to
- 48:45Speaker 1: stop talking about him entirely. And I get that instinct,
- 48:47Speaker 1: but I want you to understand the way something about
- 48:50Speaker 1: the way the market works for these ridiculous, out of control,
- 48:54Speaker 1: left wing rage shows. They're not even comedy shows. These
- 48:57Speaker 1: left wing rage shows. There was a time where television
- 49:01Speaker 1: ratings were the only thing that mattered in terms of
- 49:03Speaker 1: measuring the impact that somebody was having on the on
- 49:06Speaker 1: the public conversation and certainly in the ratings and all
- 49:08Speaker 1: these things. But it's not like that anymore. It's different now.
- 49:11Speaker 1: You know, one of the TV ratings, yes, they matter.
- 49:15Speaker 1: And we love making fun of them because they have
- 49:16Speaker 1: these low ratings, as the president just did. It's like
- 49:18Speaker 1: nobody's watching it. But the reality is, insofar as these
- 49:22Speaker 1: things are being viewed, they're being viewed in these short
- 49:24Speaker 1: form clips that are being shared to the Internet. And
- 49:26Speaker 1: in some cases, like crazy. Clips like Kimmel rooting on
- 49:31Speaker 1: the death of the president of the United States, that
- 49:33Speaker 1: doesn't get a lot of play on the standard broadcast consumption.
- 49:37Speaker 1: We can see it in the ratings. But it does
- 49:39Speaker 1: get passed around like candy in these insane asylums like
- 49:44Speaker 1: Blue Sky, Blue Ski, excuse me, on Blue Ski. They'll
- 49:47Speaker 1: share it on Blue Ski like crazy. This is where
- 49:51Speaker 1: they'll see it in their Instagram feeds. They're going to
- 49:53Speaker 1: watch this in their infinite scrolls as they're clicking through
- 49:56Speaker 1: videos and suddenly they see Kimmel joking about how much
- 50:00Speaker 1: he wants to see the president of the United States dead.
- 50:03Speaker 1: That's where the radicalization is occurring. That's where it's occurring.
- 50:06Speaker 1: People are consuming all of this on their devices. And
- 50:09Speaker 1: then they're seeing this guy who's got the kind of
- 50:14Speaker 1: the impression of legitimacy, a stamp of approval from a
- 50:17Speaker 1: big company like Disney and ABC saying, yeah, this is
- 50:20Speaker 1: our guy as he roots on the death of the
- 50:23Speaker 1: president of the United States and says that Melania Trump
- 50:25Speaker 1: would be looking forward to it. It's poisonous stuff. And
- 50:28Speaker 1: it does have the effect of conditioning people into thinking
- 50:32Speaker 1: that this is a legitimate sort of opinion to have.
- 50:36Speaker 1: It creates this veil of legitimacy. has a deep impact
- 50:39Speaker 1: on the mind. And how do we know this? People
- 50:42Speaker 1: keep trying to kill the president. Where do they get
- 50:45Speaker 1: these ideas? Well, if you look at their manifestos, they
- 50:47Speaker 1: sound an awful lot like television segments you might hear
- 50:50Speaker 1: on some of these crazy left-wing networks or on these
- 50:52Speaker 1: left-wing shows. Your words really matter. Now, last night, Kimmel
- 51:00Speaker 1: was trying to mock all of this away. He did
- 51:04Speaker 1: do his show last night. I won't bore you with
- 51:06Speaker 1: the entire thing, but here he is, courtesy of our
- 51:09Speaker 1: friend Jorge Bonilla over at the Media Research Center and Newsbusters.
- 51:13Speaker 1: He had this to say last night, and he just
- 51:17Speaker 1: tried to laugh it off. He just tried to make
- 51:19Speaker 1: a mockery of it all.
- 51:20Speaker 3: So on Thursday... Three days before the event, in order
- 51:24Speaker 3: to keep that cherished tradition alive, I did my own
- 51:27Speaker 3: version of the correspondence dinner on my show. I put
- 51:30Speaker 3: on a tuxedo. We pretended we had an audience of luminaries.
- 51:34Speaker 3: We used old footage of the Trumps, of Pete Hegseth, J.D. Vance,
- 51:39Speaker 3: Kid Rock, Vanilla Ice, all the members of his cabinet.
- 51:43Speaker 3: And we made it seem like they were all together
- 51:45Speaker 3: in a room. We had a little roast. Again, this
- 51:47Speaker 3: was Thursday, and there was no big reaction to it
- 51:50Speaker 3: until this morning when I greeted the day facing yet
- 51:53Speaker 3: another Twitter vomit storm.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Twitter vomit.
- 51:57Speaker 3: A call to fire me from our first lady, Melania Trump.
- 52:01Speaker 1: He's accusing her of a vomit storm.
- 52:03Speaker 3: Because of a joke I made, again, five nights ago.
- 52:06Speaker 3: It was a pretend roast. I said, our first lady, Melania,
- 52:09Speaker 3: is here. Look at her, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you
- 52:12Speaker 3: have a glow like an expectant.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Widow, which... The audience told to laugh. They love it.
- 52:18Speaker 1: ABC does a joke about their age difference. So he
- 52:22Speaker 1: goes on to justify it. He just spends the whole
- 52:23Speaker 1: time being like, yeah, it was totally legit. Yeah, that's fine.
- 52:26Speaker 1: And it's a vomit storm. Melania Trump is guilty of
- 52:28Speaker 1: a vomit storm, you know, rather than sincere concern about
- 52:32Speaker 1: her family. What a psycho. Yeah, ABC should fire that
- 52:34Speaker 1: guy because he's a jackass. He's a jackass, you know,
- 52:37Speaker 1: and it's not personal. I'm not picking on him merely
- 52:41Speaker 1: because he attacked this show. I'm not picking on him
- 52:43Speaker 1: merely because he attacked our interview. Remember when we interviewed J.D. Vance,
- 52:45Speaker 1: he was attacking us for that. I'm not going after
- 52:48Speaker 1: him for that. I don't care about that. What I
- 52:51Speaker 1: care about is that this guy is in no way funny.
- 52:55Speaker 1: So he's doing a comedy show. It's like, what? And
- 52:57Speaker 1: then it used to be not funny anymore. His mind
- 53:00Speaker 1: has been overtaken by hatred. And then he gets on
- 53:02Speaker 1: and he grooms people into believing that it's totally legit
- 53:04Speaker 1: to root on the death of the president of the
- 53:06Speaker 1: United States. How about don't have a show? How about
- 53:08Speaker 1: don't have a show? You psycho. You're not improving the
- 53:10Speaker 1: public conversation in any capacity. All right. That's enough about
- 53:14Speaker 1: that guy. But he's he's the president. The first lady,
- 53:20Speaker 1: Caroline Levin, everybody's like this guy's got to go. And
- 53:22Speaker 1: they're right about that. Before we go today, man, we've
- 53:25Speaker 1: gone the distance one. At some point, we'll have to
- 53:27Speaker 1: have Susan Crabtree back on. We didn't get Susan today.
- 53:29Speaker 1: I hope I hope everything's OK. We'll we'll reschedule with Susan.
- 53:33Speaker 1: get her on the program. We'll talk to her about
- 53:35Speaker 1: everything going on in the world, in particular with the
- 53:36Speaker 1: Secret Service. I'm very concerned about what's going on with
- 53:39Speaker 1: that agency. So we'll chat with her. But before we
- 53:41Speaker 1: go today, I do want to give you a quick
- 53:43Speaker 1: rundown of the redistricting fights that are taking place in
- 53:46Speaker 1: the country. And we ended up with a bunch of
- 53:48Speaker 1: really promising headlines yesterday. Remember, Virginia, in Virginia yesterday, the
- 53:55Speaker 1: state Supreme Court was hearing oral arguments against on the
- 54:00Speaker 1: Democrat-led election rigging operation that took place last week, Tuesday.
- 54:05Speaker 1: They had this big referendum. They lied to the voters
- 54:07Speaker 1: about what it was about. They said it was for
- 54:09Speaker 1: restoring fairness. It was for no such thing. And yesterday,
- 54:14Speaker 1: the judges in the court heard the oral arguments. And
- 54:18Speaker 1: here's the good news in Virginia. They were heavily scrutinizing
- 54:22Speaker 1: the Democrats who run the state, going, wait a second, like,
- 54:26Speaker 1: You really, you didn't follow the law here? Why didn't
- 54:29Speaker 1: you follow the law? Like, don't you, you don't respect
- 54:31Speaker 1: the fact that you're supposed to have an intervening election,
- 54:33Speaker 1: that you didn't give the voters enough time, you're supposed
- 54:36Speaker 1: to have a 90-day window before you get this election underway.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Why didn't you do this? Why didn't you do this?
- 54:42Speaker 1: The scrutiny yesterday in the Virginia Supreme Court was reportedly
- 54:46Speaker 1: all directed to one side, and it was the Democrats,
- 54:49Speaker 1: not to the decency side, in this case, the Republicans.
- 54:54Speaker 1: The court, very skeptical of the claims that the Democrats
- 54:57Speaker 1: have made here for rigging the maps. Now, does that
- 55:00Speaker 1: mean that they're going to overturn it? No, it's no guarantee,
- 55:03Speaker 1: but it definitely points in the direction of decency, which
- 55:06Speaker 1: is good news. Remember, Ken Cuccinelli joined us here on
- 55:09Speaker 1: the program, and he said that if he was a
- 55:12Speaker 1: betting man, he's betting by mid-May that the court's going
- 55:15Speaker 1: to throw out the rigged maps, which means Democrats do
- 55:19Speaker 1: not steal four seats in Virginia for the midterms. That
- 55:23Speaker 1: would be a huge, huge deal. So that's a good
- 55:28Speaker 1: update on that story. And we're expected to get a
- 55:32Speaker 1: lot of movement on it very quickly because time is
- 55:34Speaker 1: of the essence. This has got to be resolved immediately
- 55:39Speaker 1: just because it has a direct impact on the midterms.
- 55:41Speaker 1: So the court feels under the gun here. They'll hopefully
- 55:44Speaker 1: get us something very, very quick on that. Even CNN
- 55:47Speaker 1: was smacking around the Democrats yesterday. Even CNN was smacking
- 55:51Speaker 1: around the homicidal maniac known as Jay Jones, the attorney
- 55:54Speaker 1: general of Virginia these days. Here he is yesterday on television.
- 56:01Speaker 1: And he tried to basically dance away from answering questions about,
- 56:05Speaker 1: you know, what's actually going on with his own rigging operation.
- 56:09Speaker 1: And the host wouldn't let him do that.
- 56:11Speaker 7: Listen.
- 56:11Speaker 6: Virginia's constitution, because voters didn't have the 90 days between
- 56:15Speaker 6: the General Assembly passing the constitutional amendment allowing this redistricting
- 56:20Speaker 6: and the voters voting on it. It was signed in
- 56:22Speaker 6: early February by the governor. It was passed in January.
- 56:25Speaker 6: It went early March for early votes.
- 56:29Speaker 1: It was presented to voters.
- 56:30Speaker 6: Do you disagree with that timing argument?
- 56:35Speaker 1: Well, look, again, I think that one judge, an activist
- 56:38Speaker 1: judge who.
- 56:39Speaker 6: I'm not asking you about the judge. I'm asking you really.
- 56:41Speaker 6: It's about a math problem here. It's about a math problem.
- 56:44Speaker 6: It's the timing clause. I laid out the dates. We're
- 56:46Speaker 6: talking about facts. We're not talking about I know you
- 56:49Speaker 6: don't you have disagreements with this judge and you're calling
- 56:52Speaker 6: this judge an activist. Let's talk about the argument here
- 56:54Speaker 6: and the merits of it.
- 56:57Speaker 1: No, no, no. No, no, no. We're not talking about
- 56:59Speaker 1: the judge that you don't like him. I'm asking you
- 57:01Speaker 1: specifically about the law. More of that, please. CNN, more
- 57:07Speaker 1: of that, please. Scrutinize these Democrats. Hold their feet to
- 57:11Speaker 1: the fire. Do more of that. Do more of that.
- 57:14Speaker 1: That was a good exchange yesterday as they smack him around.
- 57:19Speaker 1: He deserves it. And then simultaneously yesterday, speaking of Supreme Court,
- 57:23Speaker 1: then we get the United States Supreme Court on Monday.
- 57:26Speaker 1: They struck down a ruling in Texas, a lower court's
- 57:32Speaker 1: ruling in Texas that said that the Texas Republican map,
- 57:36Speaker 1: Republican rigged map is not rigged by Republicans. Remember, Texas
- 57:40Speaker 1: redraws the maps because Democrats drew them in a racist way.
- 57:44Speaker 1: and a court process that concluded that the districts were
- 57:47Speaker 1: drawn in a racist way, and the Republicans, as a result,
- 57:50Speaker 1: redrew the maps in Texas to make them not racist anymore.
- 57:53Speaker 1: And it turns out when the maps aren't racist, fewer
- 57:56Speaker 1: Democrats get elected. Any lessons there, Democrats? When the maps
- 58:00Speaker 1: aren't racist, fewer Democrats get elected. Democrats would like to
- 58:04Speaker 1: reimpose the racist maps, so they engaged in this court
- 58:06Speaker 1: process to try and block the Republican redraw. No bueno.
- 58:12Speaker 1: because here's what the court said yesterday.
- 58:14Speaker 4: U.S.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Supreme Court clears Texas's Republican-favored congressional map. So in a
- 58:21Speaker 1: win yesterday for decency, for sanity, and yes, for the
- 58:25Speaker 1: Republican Party, the congressional map will stay. The new map
- 58:30Speaker 1: will stay in Texas. It gets the all clear from
- 58:32Speaker 1: the United States Supreme Court. Boom, something good, something very
- 58:38Speaker 1: good going on. We'll take that. And then finally, finally,
- 58:43Speaker 1: while I'm on this redistricting news today. Ron DeSantis comes
- 58:49Speaker 1: flying in from the top rope yesterday. Ron DeSantis has
- 58:54Speaker 1: unveiled a new Florida congressional map that would give the
- 58:58Speaker 1: Republican Party an extra four seats, Fox News reports. First
- 59:04Speaker 1: on Fox, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis revealed the new redistricted
- 59:08Speaker 1: congressional map for the state. It shows the Republican Party
- 59:11Speaker 1: gaining an extra four seats. He says, quote, Florida got
- 59:15Speaker 1: shortchanged in the 2020 census. We've been fighting for fair
- 59:18Speaker 1: representation ever since. Our population has since grown dramatically. It's true.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Everybody's going to Florida because they want to escape the
- 59:26Speaker 1: Democrat states. And we have moved from a Democrat majority
- 59:30Speaker 1: to a 1.5 million Republican advantage. And here it is again.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Drawing maps based on race, which is reflected in our
- 59:39Speaker 1: current congressional districts, is unconstitutional and should be prohibited. So
- 59:44Speaker 1: what's the big lesson this morning, chat? If you get
- 59:48Speaker 1: rid of the racism, Democrats lose their power. That's what
- 59:54Speaker 1: Ron DeSantis is attempting to do in Florida right now,
- 59:56Speaker 1: to get rid of the racism. And more normal people,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: more patriots get elected. That's good news. That's very good news.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: We got a lot more to come. A lot more
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: to come. I've got so much more to address. We'll
