- 0:00I mean, I know you're you're all tied up as far as relationship goes.
- 0:04Oh, im, like, I'm not all tied up. I mean,
- 0:06but oh it's geez. Sorry, I thought you were hog tied over
- 0:10there, my dad. No, you remember though, you remember when before
- 0:15you and Nick met your husband. I think you were in a place where
- 0:19it's like, all right, at that age, at that point in your
- 0:21life, you were like looking for something serious, right of course, like
- 0:25what you ended up with, that's what you wanted. Well, I got
- 0:28some tips if you're out there trying to meet the one. These are things
- 0:32on your first date you should not say unless you want to scare them off.
- 0:36Ooh interesting, Okay, okay, because it's interesting you bring this up
- 0:39because sometimes you see these lists and you go, no, like, if
- 0:43you're really looking for something, I think it's okay, and I'll be the
- 0:46judge of this at a certain point in your life that you can have these
- 0:48conversations. But okay, So like, for example, if you don't want
- 0:51to scare them off, do not mention your timeline for your goal of getting
- 0:55married. Oh yeah, that's weird. Do not yeah, first date,
- 0:58don't be like, yeah, I really looking in the next twelve to eighteen
- 1:00months to be married. That's the plan. I don't know who it is,
- 1:04could be you could be the next guy will see anybody. Yep,
- 1:08your opinion of the presidents and political parties off limits. I mean unless it
- 1:12aligns with them, like you're kind of taking a fifty to fifty stab at
- 1:15it. Yeah, the real coin flip. And I feel like you can
- 1:19kind of tell any people's, you know, demeanor, whether they're a little
- 1:23bit more liberal or conservative, just in general. I guess it depends on
- 1:26how you meet them or what you what you know about them. Yeah,
- 1:30you think you can just pick a random person and identify their political party to
- 1:34some degree? Yeah? Really those six cents over there, I might see
- 1:40party lines. That was good. Save that one. Also, you don't
- 1:47say that in gutt and based on over Okay. Another thing to not say
- 1:52on a first date if you want to scare them off, the fact that
- 1:53your dog sleeps under the covers with you. Oh my gosh. You know
- 1:57it's interesting because as you know, I had Veno before I had met Nick,
- 2:02and that Rascal, not Veno, my husband, oh boyfriend at the
- 2:07time, was just so sweet to her, like just loved her or whatever.
- 2:10And then it was just kind of as time went on, I got
- 2:14a little less sweet. Well, the dog Veno slept with me. It
- 2:16was just old lug and I and she got moved to the floor, which
- 2:22I have no problem. She adapted well. But then yeah, it was
- 2:24just it was very odd to me that whole relationship with that. That's interesting.
- 2:29I mean, of course he was sweet to the dog if he knew
- 2:30that he's the dog was in the bed. You know, you got to
- 2:34make friends with if you're trying to get under those sheets, you're trying to
- 2:37weasele your and get that dog out of there. It's like a game a
- 2:39Big Brother the reality show. You got to kind of like create some alliances
- 2:44if you're trying to get in there. You know, you went to maxt
- 2:50your trenk. That's good. Also, you want to stay away from the
- 2:53first day conversation of your deep ponderings on the meaning of life. Yeah,
- 2:58this is weird. That would be maybe just lay out like, yeah,
- 3:00you know, really what is existence? Your list of career accomplishments can come
- 3:06off as sort of arrogant. I guess career accomplishment, I guess you have
- 3:10to have some of those, and then they let me do the morning show.
- 3:15I used to do this drive my breakfast and then all of a sudden
- 3:17one day they were like, hey, you can talk on the radio.
- 3:20Yeah, your health problems and surgical history generally what you want to stay away
- 3:27unless you're trying to scare them away. Then by all means break down the
- 3:29fact that you had your you know, appendix removed. I mean that's kind
- 3:32of fun. I'm just you know, I think it depends on yeah,
- 3:36this situation, maybe a broken bone, or if it's a story that aligns
- 3:39with the conversation. But what I shared my story last week about having to
- 3:44go into the walk in because I thought I was having a serious medical episode
- 3:47when really I just had a bunch of stool that needed to pass. Yeah,
- 3:52that one I would probably save for nobody. Ever, Well, people
- 3:55have been asking me, like literally, I'll be out and be like,
- 3:58hey, can you tell that story about the stool and so you know,
- 4:01but I wouldn't lead with that if I was dating. By the way,
- 4:04fun fact, you would reached out to me last week about this. You
- 4:08realize I was friends with the doctor. Because of course this doctor would never
- 4:12reach out and say, oh, yeah, Pike came in, but I'm
- 4:14really good friends with her. I like, yeah, that's interesting. Well
- 4:16I didn't like that because I saw the name of this doctor I had gone
- 4:19to on your friend's list or something they like to post. I'm like,
- 4:23wait a minute, and it just suddenly made I mean, there's more embarrassing
- 4:28things that go in for, but it just felt like, I don't know,
- 4:30it just like broke the wall of doctor and friends. You know,
- 4:33No, I get it. Yeah, like a lot of women go through
- 4:35that where you had a female appointment or something and you're in stirrups and they're
- 4:41talking about something like, dude, this is weird. This is uncomfortable.
- 4:47But then again, I come from you know, the wrestling locker room back
- 4:49in the day where you had your gym teacher, you know, wiping you
- 4:53off naked so you can weigh a tenth of a pound less. You know
- 4:56what. Yeah, there's gonna be a doctor every one day just wiping you
- 5:00down with a towel. Well, sweat weis a lot. Really, Yeah,
- 5:03the information I didn't know. I didn't know you boys had it so
- 5:08rough. I wouldn't say that it wasn't all bad, all right anymore.
- 5:13Finally, unless you want to scare them off on the first day, do
- 5:15not mention your opinions of your ex. Oh gosh, do not come out
- 5:20with that, especially if it because you gotta imagine in your first date you're
- 5:25gonna want some sort of track record, like a little bit of information like
- 5:29how fresh is the relationship out of or whatever it is. It's basically like
- 5:32why are you single? Are what brings you here today? Yes? And
- 5:35if it's like every one of them is bad and every one of them was
- 5:41bad, then you're like, are you the problem? It's true, but
- 5:45what's worse? Them saying bad things about their X were saying like really like
- 5:47rave reviews, like I love my I love my ex. In fact,
- 5:50I'd still be with them if they hadn't broken up with me in the morning,
- 5:55Big naty eight point seven. It is time little hypothetical situation game.
- 6:01We've come to know it. You'll love it, and it's called what do
- 6:06you do? We hope you love it just the few I really enjoy it,
- 6:11you know. And we're to the point now where people are starting to
- 6:14submit their own hypothetical situations, and so I'll be using one of those today.
- 6:17Okay for you. As his tradition, Amanda, go ahead and start
- 6:20us. All right, you're hanging out with the boys of Low Standards this
- 6:25weekend. You guys are practicing for the big Happy Harry's rib Fest performance.
- 6:30This is true. I know. Yes, all of a sudden, you
- 6:32get a text. It's a mysterious man who says, you guys get to
- 6:36pick one guest to perform at Happy Harry's rib Fest with you guys on stage,
- 6:43and these are your options, Eminem or Travis Barker. You only get
- 6:48to pick one, so pipe wowsa. I know those are some big dogs.
- 6:56Who's gonna fit in with Low Standards? You do? You know?
- 7:01I don't. We got a pretty tight set planned out, and I don't
- 7:06know this late in the game. I don't know if we could, we
- 7:09could make the adjustments. You gotta pick one, oh I do? Well,
- 7:13yeah, of course you do, Travis Barker or Eminem. Well,
- 7:15our drummer Scott is really good, so I don't think we need the help
- 7:18on the drum set. But Eminem could really, you know, really cranker
- 7:24up a notch. I think I would go with Eminem. Okay, because
- 7:26I was like, who cares? Who's drumming from Tavis Barker though? Is
- 7:30incredible? Of course, listen, nobody's gonna fly that flag higher than me,
- 7:34Amanda. I love Travis Barker. Thought it was really giving you a
- 7:38doozy there. I just think for the fans it would be more exciting.
- 7:40All right, Amanda? Okay, so you're at a backyard barbecue. It's
- 7:43set the scene. You're eating a three quarter foot hot dog, nine inch
- 7:47er. That's a big dad. Yeah, that's a big one. When
- 7:49suddenly a man you don't really know comes up to you and he says,
- 7:54hey, there, you know I just got here and they're out of hot
- 7:59dogs. Nothing left. I see you got one of the big ones,
- 8:03and I am very very hungry. I could really use a hot dog.
- 8:09Did you come up with this? Or is this the ones? This is
- 8:11mine? This is this is an original. Before I dog it, I
- 8:16just wanted to know, can I have yours? So, Amanda, how
- 8:20big of a dog? Nine inches and you haven't even been into it yet?
- 8:26What do you do? He can have four and a half. I'll
- 8:31break my hot dog in half and give him halves. I'll get him havesies.
- 8:35Wow, if it's an Ambassador hot dog though, Mama's not Sharon.
- 8:39What is that? Is that a brand or is that a style of hot
- 8:41dog? It's like have the caseine on it. It's a brand, though.
- 8:46You know my love for an ambassador hot dog? Do I? Yeah?
- 8:50Okay, I put two dogs in one bun. Remember we've had this
- 8:52conversation, two dogs, one bun. Yeah, I've never heard you say
- 8:56that. Surely I would remember you putting hot dogs in a bun? Yes?
- 9:01So good? Do you put them end to end? No? Do
- 9:05you stack them? I stack them so they're laying next to each other,
- 9:09double barrel, so good. Oh my gosh, they must not be that
- 9:13this weekend. Can know. This is why you need two of them,
- 9:16because if you just do one Ambassador hot dog in a normal bun, it's
- 9:20like way too much bright. Do you have to pick the top of the
- 9:22bread off? Really? Yeah? It's yes, they're not your doodles typical
- 9:28ballpark frank. Anyway, all right, I digress. Get this girl started
- 9:33on an ambassador hot dog. You never know what you're gonna get. I
- 9:35have to try that feel. Two on one you get offered ten million dollars
- 9:43cash. Only thing is the rest of your life. You have to have
- 9:46a man that follows you absolutely everywhere. This guy will never speak to you
- 9:52ever. He is not going to tell anybody you're dirty, little He's going
- 9:56to see some things what I'm saying. He is going to be there for
- 10:01everything, restroom breaks into like absolutely everything. He will always be with you.
- 10:09But again he can't talk. So Pike, for ten million dollars cash,
- 10:13could you go through with this forever? What do you do? Do
- 10:20we know? Is he like a bad guy, Like it's just a guy
- 10:24like he'll never touch me? He's not, I mean, not like that
- 10:28or maybe like that. I don't know. I wouldn't I wouldn't welcome that.
- 10:31I don't know if he's ever going to give you a hug. No,
- 10:31he is not. He's just always going to be there. Will you
- 10:35get used to the fact that he's just there all the time. Yeah,
- 10:37he's not going to talk to you. Not. He won't touch you.
- 10:39You won't touch me. He won't kill me, he will do that.
- 10:43He'll be he'll always be eight feet away from you. Okay. Can he
- 10:46play an instrument because obviously he'll be on stage with low standards. So no
- 10:52he doesn't. He's just stand there. Okay, he does not do anything?
- 10:56Well yeah for ten mil Amanda, Yeah, I would do anything.
- 10:58Oh welcome, aboy, I could do I mean listen. Sometimes the company
- 11:03would be nice curious. Our final what do you Do Today? Was submitted
- 11:05by Cody Hansen Cody his place this weekend. Are Y. Yeah, I
- 11:11was gonna keep it vague, like it was just some listener, but now
- 11:13you've outed me as this guy being a guy in my band and my good
- 11:16friend from college. So yeah, okay, I am going to his house
- 11:22in Lake Travers tomorrow. But he's also a number one fan. I think
- 11:26he's a top fan. He's just like a random listener and he loves the
- 11:28show and he wanted to submit a thing. So the hype of that that
- 11:33what do you do? Goes like this, Amanda. It's a would you
- 11:37rather? Really? But it works. Would you rather option one have the
- 11:43faint smell of woo following you all day long, every day for the rest
- 11:48of your life now no one else can smell it, just you, Oh
- 11:52God, terrible? Or would you rather be emotionally and intimately attracted to chairs?
- 12:03So a man think about that emotionally, yeah, like the one I'm
- 12:11sitting on right now, Like I wouldn't be able to contain myself. It'd
- 12:15be tough. What do you do? Okay, this is bizarre, Like
- 12:18it is bizarre. So am I like an animal in heat with these chairs
- 12:24all the time? Or is it just like I'm just like, oh,
- 12:28look at this chair, It's a nice one. Well currently you feel that
- 12:31way about men, right, you know? So it's like no, you're
- 12:35not just like constantly like oh, come here, But at the same time,
- 12:37like you do feel something, got it not to mention, like if
- 12:41you do happen to take an interest in one particular chair and somebody else sits
- 12:46in it, you know, I get Yeah, I'm like, I'm gonna
- 12:50start unleashing on people sitting on my chair? Could you could you come out
- 12:54with that because I think you'd have to internalize those feelings, right, because
- 12:58you're gonna look like a real weirdo. The smell pooh, have you ever
- 13:01had that like as disgusting as this is? Mama too? Kids Sometimes like
- 13:05when they used to blowouts every once in a while, you'd get that little
- 13:07something somewhere like you wouldn't even realize it, like you'd have a little something
- 13:11and you could just smell it. And no matter how many times you watch
- 13:13your grands, I know you've had this conversation with garlic like you do.
- 13:16You just can't get that smellowa. It's always there. It is horrified.
- 13:20And so I think I'm gonna have to, uh, Cody, I'm gonna
- 13:22have to get after these chairs. Well, nobody said you had to go
- 13:28all the way. I'm just gonna I'm gonna be attracted an interesting choice.
- 13:33Well, hey, guys, if you want to submit your own what do
- 13:35you do for next Friday, we'd love to have it. You can email
- 13:39it in, you can Facebook, message us, call us really just help
- 13:43us out any way, shape or form any programming notes. This creative well
- 13:46is running dry. Taking a minute in the morning. Seven. I was
- 13:52driving yesterday going down nine ninety four eastbound. Yeah, okay, I think
- 13:56was near like the twenty fifth Street exit right, cruising by two littles.
- 14:00I can smell the chicken from the interstate. When I see a van driving
- 14:03rather erratically, you know, like kind of just swerve in knowing slow growing
- 14:09slow, so you know, it's like seems dangerous, like the one where
- 14:13you want to probably switch lanes, not a high speed chase going on.
- 14:16I'm wondering, I'm like, what's going on with this? Are they drunk?
- 14:20You know? Are they having a medical emergency? And what time a
- 14:22day is this? Middle of the afternoon, Okay, middle of the afternoon.
- 14:26And so when I finally passed by, I look over and it's an
- 14:30elderly woman on her phone as if she was navigating a GPS on her phone.
- 14:35Oh so she was holding her phone out, not talking on it.
- 14:37No, not talking, gray hair, swore like just couldn't do the multitasking
- 14:43required, not that anybody should be trying. But you said this was over
- 14:46by Doolittle. So she had not hit Minnesota yet. Correct, No,
- 14:50like she didn't know which she was supposed to. Ever be on your phone
- 14:54texting? Looking at it? Well, in Minnesota, that is illegal.
- 14:56It is for sure illegal. In North Dakota, I don't think it.
- 15:00You cannot text all. You cannot be on your phone. I'm saying on
- 15:03that. I'm not talking about on your phone talking. I'm saying phone up
- 15:07texting somebody. Correct now, hands it's free in Minnesota, I think hands
- 15:11on in North Dakota seven one, nine seventies. Can you legally text and
- 15:16drive? And I don't think so. It's not even the texting. It's
- 15:18like you can't even have your phone up. You probably shouldn't. You shouldn't
- 15:22be distracted in any in any way shape for I feel like being on the
- 15:24phone. I'm totally fine. However, it got me thinking, is there
- 15:28real is there an age that we should maybe just consider taking people's licenses away?
- 15:33See? And I think it totally depends on the person. So Grandma
- 15:35Milly is my goodness, she's ninety five, you told me, yes,
- 15:41very active, very active drives and her boyfriend spiritually her and her boyfriend who
- 15:50is ninety they're cruising around all the time doing their thing. They do get
- 15:54a little flustered when they're coming all the way out to West Fargo because they're
- 15:58Barnesville more head peep, and they just get confused in our neighborhood. Yeah,
- 16:03yeah, I mean when it's unfamiliar or like high speed traffic. I
- 16:07know people get stressed about that, or driving at night. That's an issue.
- 16:10And you're right, of course, it depends on the person. I'm
- 16:11not saying when you turn seventy two, you should have to turn into med
- 16:15sense. However, a study I just found this out of the Washington University
- 16:18School of Medicine. Didn't you try to get in there, Washington. No,
- 16:25Well, they found that approximately seventy two years old is when seniors are
- 16:30likely to stop driving. Now, obviously it depends. Well, we have
- 16:34a call and I'm hoping they don't swear good morning, big ninety yeo point
- 16:37seven good morning. Just flucked it up. And it's illegal in North Dakota
- 16:41to talk text read oh and to all of you are you're okay? All
- 16:47of them? So can you can you believe a man it would say it's
- 16:49such a crazy thing, I honestly, because I just remember they did that
- 16:52huge campaign in Minnesota and it's like, nope, hands free, that's it.
- 16:56And I don't remember that being a thing in North Dakota. I don't
- 16:57remember being a thing in northcot That's why I looked it up. Interesting,
- 17:00well that I love a good fact checker. Thank you, sir. What
- 17:03was your name? Jim? Jim? All right, canny time. Appreciate
- 17:06your absolutely brutal for you to come on the air and say, yeah,
- 17:10you can text and drive I do it all the time. Do not text
- 17:11in driver? You kidding? Really? Is that why every time I'm driving
- 17:15behind you, I guess we're headed to maybe Barney soon or something, and
- 17:17I'm at a red light and it turns green and I literally have to honk.
- 17:21After ten seconds, you're just looking around at the birds. Factual information,
- 17:26if you believe this study seventy two, is when people should shut it
- 17:29down. And you just you see some people and we've all seen them.
- 17:33They're driving a Buick, they got their plantereotype, they got their banker on.
- 17:38Even though they're not turning and don't plan to turn at any point,
- 17:41they're driving twenty under the speed limit. This is how people feel when they
- 17:45see you with your band equipment. Can't even see it in the back end
- 17:48in an ultimat What does that have to do? You're driving? What are
- 17:53you doing? No, So they're driving slow and you get by them and
- 17:57right up against the steering wheel, the seats as far forward as it can
- 18:00possibly. I'm just saying there is like for safety, because my guy,
- 18:03you read headlines like oh yeah, somebody blew a red light. They you
- 18:07know, they were ninety eight. It's like, well, come on,
- 18:11come, well, yes, there's going to be circumstances pike where they shouldn't
- 18:15be driving. But there's also twenty thirty forty year old people who should not
- 18:18be finner green more fact, I'm sitting by one of them. Trending.
- 18:26Now here's what you need to know. Well, what do you think will
- 18:29Governor Burgham be chosen as former President Trump's vice presidential pick. Burgham and South
- 18:33Carolina Senator Tim Scott had been very visible over the past couple of weeks.
- 18:37Burghum joined Trump in New Jersey a couple of weeks tog to really warm up
- 18:41the supporters. Just last Friday, he did the same thing in Minnesota,
- 18:44Senator Kevin Kramer's hat down for an interview, saying he's watching Burgham. He's
- 18:48really thinking that Bergham is on the short list. I wonder how they got
- 18:52to know each other? How do you campaign for that? But if I
- 18:55had to choose between Doug Bergham and what the other guy was, Tim Scott?
- 18:57Two first names, I mean, it's just no good Tim Scott,
- 19:00come on, now, you're going Doug Bergum all? I mean my name
- 19:03alone, I don't know what the other credentials are I know he VP.
- 19:08You've never looked through the credentials for what it's what it takes to be the
- 19:11vice president of the United Well, you know, you know we read about
- 19:18that all right. The man who arrested Scotty Schiffler a week ago at the
- 19:23PGA Championship. I guess uh did not turn on his body worn camera,
- 19:29so he got a talking too, because you're supposed to do that. So
- 19:33there is no actual footage. Yeah, they said they reprimanded him. I
- 19:37don't know exactly what that entails. We are being told that they do have
- 19:41a street poll that was like Kitty Corner that has a camera, and so
- 19:45there's a couple of cameras that they were able to kind of see some of
- 19:48the footage. We thought for sure they were dropping these charges, but that
- 19:49is also not the case. He's doing court for this hearing on June third,
- 19:53and it kind of seems like this is messing with his game. Yesterday
- 19:56not his best round. No, it was not good at all. I
- 20:00forgot what he shot. It was over par though, So you guy think
- 20:02he's a little worked up. But then again, you know you can't win
- 20:04every tournament. Say no, but I would be shook in this situation,
- 20:07if you were just squeaky clean, just a normal dude who has never been
- 20:11in trouble, and then everybody's talking about now this, You got a mug
- 20:15shot that would traumatize me a little bit. If I had been arrested before
- 20:18League night two nights ago, would I have still won? Probably? But
- 20:23so handily, you know, maybe not. So it's scary. Who are
- 20:26you playing? Who you shot? Yeah, my friend Kirby really good golfer.
- 20:30But that sounds like he's a good golfer you but he got he's got
- 20:33four kids and so he doesn't get out as much as he probably used to.
- 20:37So are you blaming his four kids on his poor golf game? Yeah?
- 20:40They should know. What are you doing right now? They're all in
- 20:41activities? Can you imagine? And they live in Holly and they got to
- 20:45commute to Morehead for soccer or something. I don't I'm just I'm not making
- 20:49it still though I was just the better golfer that night. Hebby sounds like
- 20:52you're a number one dad. Maybe not. He is the tops when it
- 20:59comes to dad. But Wednesday night at Rose Creek, I was dad.
- 21:03You know what I'm saying didn't go way to go, daddy, Yeah,
- 21:07that's the rule. You're making us all uncomfortable now, Okay. Scarlett Johanson
- 21:11issuing an open AI, the company behind Chad GBT, because they actually asked
- 21:17her to use her voice for something and she turned it down, and now
- 21:19they have a voice that sounds just like her, and they're just kind of
- 21:22claiming like, oh, I don't know what happened here, How would you
- 21:26do that? I know that's a lawsuit. You're a big tech company,
- 21:27like ridiculous, Just pick another voice exactly. I've never even thought like,
- 21:33oh, it's Scarlett Johansson's voice. I've thought, oh Scarlet Johans Never mind,
- 21:40all right, daddy, calm down over here. Chances of rain thunderstorms
- 21:44pretty much rout the day high a sixty two. Of course, we're excited
- 21:45rolling into a long holiday weekend. Weather is not looking super great. Might
- 21:48get a little sunshine tomorrow. But Pike, what was your quote before we
- 21:52went on air when you looked outside and go, Wow, the rain's really
- 21:55coming down, and then you said, I said, yeah, I think
- 21:56we're all set as far as the rain goes, And we're all set here.
- 22:02We were greening it up by now it's like, okay, now we
- 22:03need to dry it out. It's gonna look real nice when it dries up.
- 22:07It is, and don't forget tonight t Wolves Game two, seven thirty
- 22:10tip off against the Mavericks at the Target Center. Not a must win game,
- 22:14but got it. Let's go, boy, you really like to win
- 22:17this one. Even it up, head back to down Sunday. It's gonna
- 22:21be fun. Pike and Amanda in the morning and now Amanda stills, let's
- 22:25see, let's see, and it's brought to you by a park company,
- 22:26Real Tours. All right. Patrick Mahomes trying to take a little credit for
- 22:30Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey is romance. Listened to what he had to say
- 22:33yesterday. I like to take some of the credit. I was the one
- 22:37who invited Travis to the first Taylor concert in the friendship Brasa was. He
- 22:41was sitting in my suite, so I feel like I was the matchmaker.
- 22:45I had some input in there as well. I was like, dude,
- 22:48you just go for it, just go for it, and you know,
- 22:49Travis man, he does it, and then he's a great dude. And
- 22:53I'm glad that it's all worked out for the best because Aaron Andrews is the
- 22:56one who said I'm the one who connected the dots. People just trying to
- 23:00take credit. Although people love to love to hook people up, I don't
- 23:04know what it is. Have you ever hooked somebody up and they actually worked
- 23:07out? No, I'm like zero for five. Yeah, I had a
- 23:11couple of clubs. I had some that like went years, you know.
- 23:14But ye'll Nick's buddy or girlfriend, Nick's really good girlfriend ended up hooking us
- 23:21up and she loves it, like she just she'll, you know, everyone
- 23:25swiles. She's like, did this what happy for you guys? You know,
- 23:29which is awesome? Interesting? No, it's it's one of those things
- 23:30where and also when you know somebody so well, odds are you know,
- 23:34the good and the bad. So it's always like do you do you hook
- 23:37him up? Like do you want to vouch for that person? Even though
- 23:40you might love them, like as a friend they're great, but you know,
- 23:41it's like, would you really wish that on somebody because you know they
- 23:45got issues or whatever. By the way, Travis and Taylor, their relationship
- 23:48is still going very strong, even though people are trying to make this he's
- 23:52not ready to propose like a bigger story than it needs to be. That's
- 23:56totally normal that he's not ready to I would say, yeah, he's gonna
- 23:59bebapping between the US and Europe for the next couple of months before the NFL
- 24:03season kicks off. But apparently one of their favorite things to do Tayn trev
- 24:07is do a home decorating, shopping and going antiquing. I love this,
- 24:11or trying to find stuff for his new pad in Kansas. That is fun.
- 24:15It would be more fun if you had unlimited money. I'd say that.
- 24:18Yeah. Otherwise, like for the normal person picking out like furniture,
- 24:21it's like, dear, got a coffee table? Costs? How much?
- 24:23No kidding? And I just don't wonder all of my stuff is falling apart
- 24:26because I bought it from Target. It happens. How fun would it be
- 24:29though? Decorat oh Man So much fun? All right? Diddy facing another
- 24:33lawsuit, this time by a former student at New York City is Fashion Institute
- 24:37of Technology. I guess he drugged and raped her. This was back in
- 24:40nineteen nineties. Her name is April. She filed this law suit yesterday claiming
- 24:44that her relationship started with Diddy when he was saying I'm gonna mentor you.
- 24:47He ended up assaulting her, and then she was away from him for a
- 24:51few months. She did come back around, thought maybe this was just like
- 24:55a one time thing. Happened again, and then she gave this really uncomfortable,
- 24:59detailed discover about how not only was she with Ditty at one point,
- 25:03but also with at the time it was his ah were they married his wife,
- 25:07Kim Border. I know they have kids together, but she has since
- 25:11passed. But there was some sort of relationship with the three of them.
- 25:14And at one point, I guess Kim showed up to the restaurant that she
- 25:18had worked at, allegedly told the restaurant owner that she was trying to poison
- 25:22her, demanded her to be fired or Diddy was going to shut the place
- 25:25down, and this April girl saying she was fired. Well, I'm glad
- 25:27people are coming forward now, you know, it's usually once a floodgates open,
- 25:33Very Weinstein, you know, Cosby Ish. Yeah, so I think
- 25:36this is the eighth or ninth person to come forward, But just so icky
- 25:40all the way around. Gypsy Rose In, Kim Kardashian are they friends or
- 25:44what's going on here? Apparently Gypsy Rose made it very known that one of
- 25:48her biggest goals was to meet Kim Kardashian because of the prison refort like justice
- 25:52reform and all of that that she does. So there was just a teaser
- 25:55on The Kardashians for their Hulu show, and I guess Gypsy and Kim end
- 25:59up meeting and all you see is high. So I don't know if Gypsy's
- 26:02going to be on the Kardashians this next season for a little bit. Watch
- 26:04it just be that, like that's the teaser, but then the actually it's
- 26:07just high and that oh good, oh high good stuff. Well, I
- 26:11don't know any Gypsy rows in on the to be fair, And this is
- 26:15going to shock a lot of people because I've been a Kardashians girl my entire
- 26:19life. Just I'm done with it barely anymore. I mean, like love
- 26:25family guy, But am I dying to watch the new episodes? Not really?
- 26:29Growing up? I do remember growing up? I remember? Is that
- 26:33us? Growing up? He said? Remember growing up? Yes, let
- 26:37me take you back on that dream like in the morning, Big Nay eight
- 26:41point seven. I watch JSON Classic. Well it's soon to be a reality.
- 26:48They say that something they're calling electric air taxis are on the way for
- 26:55commuters as early as twenty twenty five, which is next year. So basically,
- 26:59imagine being able to like get around traffic, you know, when it's
- 27:02all backed up and your cars are everywhere. There's only so many ways to
- 27:04go a lot of times it's nowhere. So bizarre to me. So how
- 27:07high up in the air are you? Well, just high enough, I
- 27:11suppose. Yeah, that's what I'm wondering. It's like you got to be
- 27:14over probably the stoplight, but at the same time you probably can't be you
- 27:17can't be within like air traffic control exactly. So this is and is legit,
- 27:22This is actually happening. United Airlines has plans for these futuristic electric air
- 27:26taxis. They're going to start in big cities Chicago and New York. At
- 27:30least it's United Airlines. Like it's not you know, I don't know what
- 27:33I was thinking. It's like it's an airline company going up in the air.
- 27:36Well, yeah, Spirit Airlines is bearheading the effort. Well, I
- 27:40know it'd be a Chief dikeat But then also is it like, ah,
- 27:42but if you want to bring your your purse. It's going to be an
- 27:45extra forty five dollars. Well, the US military they're already experimenting with these
- 27:49things, these electric air taxis. One company as a contract to launch the
- 27:53air taxi service in Dubai as early as twenty twenty five. Another company hopes
- 27:57to do it by the Olympics. Even now, there's like billions of dollars
- 28:02going into this, big companies like Airbus and Boeing. Great, like a
- 28:08lerk and I'm just kidding. So basically, they promised to alleviate urban congestion
- 28:15now here obviously is big of an issue, but can you imagine in New
- 28:18York City where like driving is impossible. You know, it slashes carbon emissions
- 28:22and I know that's a big concern of yours, Amanda. Oh yeah,
- 28:25a quieter, more accessible form of short distance air travel. How amazing would
- 28:27that be? Now? The biggest can that's just it? I don't know,
- 28:32it sounds great, but it makes me a little uneasy, liked buy,
- 28:34let us know how it goes and then we'll see, Oh, really
- 28:37you're willing just to sacrifice Dubai like that, and hey, they're willing to
- 28:41give it a whirl Well. The big issue, they say is like the
- 28:44battery life like battery technology isn't quite there yet, not where you know,
- 28:48like a plane can fly across the world, but these would be more like
- 28:52short distance for now, until we can figure out a battery morning commute.
- 28:56I'd feel a little bit more safe than at the end of the day was
- 29:00not charged up. Yeah, you're gonna want You don't want any late night
- 29:03travel. You don't want to forget to plug these boys in
