- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to sit past nine o'clock on
- 0:03Speaker 1: this Monday morning, the first day of fall. We made
- 0:06Speaker 1: it happy Fall. Ricky Sanchez is right here with those
- 0:08Speaker 1: three things.
- 0:08Speaker 2: An AI artist has signed a three million dollar deal
- 0:11Speaker 2: with a record company. Record Labels took meetings last week
- 0:14Speaker 2: with Zania Monet. She's an R and B act who
- 0:18Speaker 2: already has millions of streams. So she's an AI robot
- 0:21Speaker 2: created by a Mississippi woman named Talisia Jones who writes
- 0:24Speaker 2: her own lyrics, but she uses the AI platform Souno
- 0:27Speaker 2: to make them into music. So this is kind of
- 0:30Speaker 2: crazy because there are a lot of AI rights issues
- 0:32Speaker 2: that are unsettled, lots of lawsuits surrounding AI and what
- 0:36Speaker 2: can happen with AI acts like this one.
- 0:39Speaker 3: But record labels are still making deals.
- 0:42Speaker 2: A recent study share that people working in music are
- 0:45Speaker 2: likely to lose a quarter of their income to artificial
- 0:47Speaker 2: intelligence over the next four years, which is pretty insane.
- 0:51Speaker 2: I would keep you updated on how this goes, also
- 0:54Speaker 2: updated on you know where the lawsuits are and all
- 0:56Speaker 2: of this.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Obviously, this is music city.
- 0:57Speaker 2: We have a lot of amazing, phenomenal talented artists here
- 1:01Speaker 2: in Nashville and you know everywhere that we should be supporting,
- 1:04Speaker 2: so I'll.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Keep you updated on how that all pans out.
- 1:07Speaker 2: The University of Tennessee is offering a Grand Theft Auto
- 1:10Speaker 2: History class. So this class is titled Grand Theft America
- 1:13Speaker 2: US History since nineteen eighty through the Grand Theft Auto
- 1:17Speaker 2: video games. It's going to be available for spring semester
- 1:20Speaker 2: next year, so twenty twenty six.
- 1:22Speaker 3: The professor of.
- 1:22Speaker 2: The class explained that it will be quote more about
- 1:24Speaker 2: American history than the games themselves, but Grand Theft Auto
- 1:28Speaker 2: provides the framework that structures our exploration of the past.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I think this is a great way to get younger
- 1:34Speaker 2: generations into history and into you know, learning new things,
- 1:38Speaker 2: meet them where they're at. Essentially, because Grand Theft Auto.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Even though it's a very interesting and kind of scary
- 1:43Speaker 2: game for people to be playing.
- 1:45Speaker 3: It's a huge one and people love it.
- 1:47Speaker 2: So this is a very interesting way to get kids
- 1:50Speaker 2: more interested in history and The National Toy Hall of
- 1:53Speaker 2: Fame has just released its twenty twenty five finalists lists.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Here are some of the nominees this year.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Cornhole Connects four, Battleship Ferby, I Love My ferbieh Slime Star, Wars, Lightsabers,
- 2:05Speaker 2: Tickle Me Elmo.
- 2:06Speaker 3: The list goes on and on.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Fans have until September twenty fourth to vote for their
- 2:10Speaker 2: favorite on the website, and then ultimately three of them
- 2:13Speaker 2: will be chosen to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
- 2:15Speaker 2: I'm Maricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 2:17Speaker 2: need to know, Ricky.
- 2:18Speaker 1: If you could vote for one of those that you
- 2:19Speaker 1: just mentioned, what would it be Ferbi?
- 2:21Speaker 3: Okay, I loved my Ferby.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Mine would be cornhole because it's still the test of time.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I was playing cornhole this weekend.
- 2:27Speaker 3: You love cornhole?
- 2:28Speaker 4: I do.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I love backyard games, even.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Though you're not that great at it.
- 2:32Speaker 4: What okay?
- 2:33Speaker 1: We'll talk about this later.
- 2:35Speaker 5: One o seven five The River Ricky, Zach and Menno
- 2:38Speaker 5: in the morning.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Big X, the plug, the biggest, the largest.
- 2:42Speaker 2: He's gonna be at the Ryman October first first color
- 2:45Speaker 2: of the day on one oh seven five The River
- 2:46Speaker 2: is yet and tickets to go see him.
- 2:47Speaker 1: That's a really cool place to see him. Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 2:51Speaker 1: one oh seven here in this dude's name everywhere right now.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Go see him at the Ryman. Why you can see
- 2:57Speaker 1: him in a venue. That's small. Let's go first caller,
- 2:58Speaker 1: we're talking to you next down the road.
- 3:00Speaker 6: One ky Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Saying good morning pretty early to our buddy east and
- 3:06Speaker 1: East and how you doing good?
- 3:08Speaker 7: How is your weekend? What'd you do?
- 3:10Speaker 8: Really not? Then I went riding their bikes and no
- 3:14Speaker 8: one's led my friends and have fun. When when he
- 3:18Speaker 8: dropped me off at home, his bike not on the
- 3:22Speaker 8: way back, so, oh.
- 3:23Speaker 7: No, that's no good.
- 3:25Speaker 3: I think it wasn't you on the bike.
- 3:27Speaker 8: He was close to the house Easton.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Do you always wake up this early in the morning?
- 3:31Speaker 3: I feel like this is pretty early.
- 3:33Speaker 9: Yeah, what do you do?
- 3:34Speaker 1: What's your morning schedule?
- 3:36Speaker 8: Take a shower, eat my breakfast?
- 3:38Speaker 9: Hip.
- 3:38Speaker 8: Then I got my chickens. Couldn't be my.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Dog, okay, chickens.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I want chickens responsible.
- 3:45Speaker 3: How many do you have? How many chickens do you have?
- 3:48Speaker 9: Oh?
- 3:48Speaker 8: Yeah, snow, we have uh pepper, we have puppy dog.
- 3:54Speaker 7: I want a chicken named puppy dog so bad. I
- 3:58Speaker 7: think that's so cute.
- 3:59Speaker 8: You come to you.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I love that.
- 4:02Speaker 2: My favorite thing are animals named other animals. So like
- 4:06Speaker 2: the fact that you have a chicken named puppy Dog
- 4:09Speaker 2: is truly the best thing I've ever heard. Well, Easton,
- 4:12Speaker 2: I feel like we've grilled you enough this morning. It's
- 4:15Speaker 2: time to tell you that you are the first color
- 4:17Speaker 2: of the day. On one of seven, five The River,
- 4:18Speaker 2: you're getting tickets.
- 4:19Speaker 3: To get Big X the Plug at the Rieman on
- 4:21Speaker 3: October first.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I think, my here mom in the background. I feel
- 4:25Speaker 1: like we the tickets kind of sort of need to
- 4:27Speaker 1: go to mom. Big X the Plug might not be
- 4:29Speaker 1: both of that super I don't even know if Easton
- 4:31Speaker 1: can get into this show. Yes, is there an age limit?
- 4:35Speaker 1: I don't know, there's still age limit.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Kevin's being dramatic.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It means that you both get the tickets, because obviously
- 4:43Speaker 2: that's how it works.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Easton, You're too young to actually get them, but that
- 4:47Speaker 3: means that mom can take you.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Yeah, congratulations, guys, hang on the line, Okay, we gotta
- 4:53Speaker 2: get your info.
- 4:54Speaker 3: From your mom.
- 4:55Speaker 1: We're gonna have more tomorrow. We're gonna have more all week,
- 4:58Speaker 1: so wake your kids up.
- 5:01Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 5:03Speaker 9: On one oh seven five The River.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I don't like confrontation, and Zach, I love you, but
- 5:09Speaker 1: I do think we're about to get into it here.
- 5:11Speaker 7: Oh, it's going to be a heated debate.
- 5:13Speaker 1: We're trying to figure out which one of us is right,
- 5:16Speaker 1: which one of us is wrong. To hang out. Supposed
- 5:18Speaker 1: to hang out this weekend didn't happen, but we do
- 5:20Speaker 1: have receipts. We were texting all weekend about it.
- 5:22Speaker 2: So Ricky will I'm going to be the judge, yes, please,
- 5:25Speaker 2: I have no skin in the game when it comes
- 5:27Speaker 2: to either of you, so I'm impartial. I am here
- 5:31Speaker 2: as Judge Sanchez, ready for her duty.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Okay, right after this song, we'll get into it. Ricky
- 5:37Speaker 1: is going to decide once and for all who's right
- 5:39Speaker 1: who's wrong.
- 5:39Speaker 6: Next, Ricky, Zach and Meno.
- 5:42Speaker 9: In the morning on one O seven five the River.
- 5:44Speaker 2: The one oh seven five the River court is officially
- 5:47Speaker 2: in session the case of z Woodward versus k Man
- 5:51Speaker 2: will be heard presiding by Judge Sanchez.
- 5:54Speaker 7: Thank you your honor for having us.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Okay, you're both trying to get extra point already. So
- 6:01Speaker 2: the situation here explained to me exactly what happened. I'm
- 6:04Speaker 2: gonna first go to Zach because I believe this is
- 6:06Speaker 2: all your idea.
- 6:08Speaker 10: Yes, So, Kevin and I were supposed to hang out
- 6:10Speaker 10: on Saturday.
- 6:11Speaker 7: My mom was even so excited.
- 6:12Speaker 10: She was like, Oh, I can't wait to go to
- 6:14Speaker 10: brunch with keV dogg super excited to have brunch with
- 6:17Speaker 10: him on Saturday.
- 6:18Speaker 11: Okay.
- 6:19Speaker 10: I did not hear anything or confirmation from him all
- 6:22Speaker 10: week long.
- 6:23Speaker 7: He said, yeah, we'll figure it out the day of.
- 6:25Speaker 7: There's still no confirmation.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:27Speaker 10: So then I texted him the night before to no
- 6:29Speaker 10: response until later later afterward, I was flying.
- 6:33Speaker 3: I was traveling as well well, Kevin, hold.
- 6:35Speaker 1: On, okay, sir.
- 6:36Speaker 10: So anyways, then he was like, oh, yeah, sorry, I
- 6:39Speaker 10: have to take my children to some trampoline park from
- 6:42Speaker 10: eleven thirty to one thirty. I'm sorry that now ruins
- 6:45Speaker 10: our brunch plants. That's brunch time.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Okay, all right, hold on, Zach, Kevin, what is your
- 6:50Speaker 3: defense here?
- 6:52Speaker 2: Uh?
- 6:52Speaker 1: I said, I have to go to this party from
- 6:54Speaker 1: eleven to one thirty. And he said, we're wide open
- 6:56Speaker 1: all day, so we can even do something after one
- 6:57Speaker 1: thirty for lunch. And I said, okay, great, let's figure
- 6:59Speaker 1: it out tomorrow and then the next day text me
- 7:02Speaker 1: tomorrow yeah, And then I said, okay, yeah, I'm free
- 7:05Speaker 1: after one thirty well, let's get lunch, let's do the
- 7:07Speaker 1: thing we talked about doing. Or I even invited you
- 7:09Speaker 1: to come hang out of the trampoline place and you
- 7:11Speaker 1: said no, no tripoline park and you said no question,
- 7:16Speaker 1: you said no, we now have other plans. You said, no,
- 7:18Speaker 1: we're going to a pool party. After I said let's
- 7:21Speaker 1: do the thing we talked about doing, I said, let's
- 7:23Speaker 1: get lunch at one thirty, which is what had been
- 7:25Speaker 1: previously discussed.
- 7:26Speaker 2: I will say, I will say I've heard both sides.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I do have the receipts in front of me, the
- 7:31Speaker 2: text messages between the two of you.
- 7:33Speaker 7: Shall we also say that I was out there.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I did not ask you.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Funeral family jud John says did not ask you to speak.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I did not ask you to speak.
- 7:41Speaker 2: I'm I do have the receipts right here. And Kevin
- 7:48Speaker 2: did indeed say why don't we meet up afterwards? And
- 7:51Speaker 2: you did say, apparently we're going to a pool party
- 7:54Speaker 2: around one.
- 7:56Speaker 7: So that is correct.
- 7:57Speaker 2: It does look as though Kevin did try to make
- 8:00Speaker 2: up for his initial mess up of the plans by
- 8:03Speaker 2: giving you an alternative time, by giving you an alternative time,
- 8:06Speaker 2: and you said that you could no longer do that time.
- 8:09Speaker 7: Now, I do you see that?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Zach said we can do something after one for lunch.
- 8:14Speaker 1: He floated that plan, and then when I.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Calmed down, yep, I did I do see that. I
- 8:19Speaker 3: think you're both at fault. You're both at fault.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Kevin, you initially just messed up all of the plans
- 8:24Speaker 2: by switching everything up last minute.
- 8:27Speaker 7: I was trying to ken not done speaking.
- 8:29Speaker 3: I will hold you in contempt.
- 8:32Speaker 6: Kevin.
- 8:32Speaker 2: You initially ruined the initial plans that they already that
- 8:35Speaker 2: you guys had already agreed upon.
- 8:36Speaker 3: You did try to make it up.
- 8:38Speaker 2: You did try to make it up with different plans
- 8:39Speaker 2: that Zach did already agree to the alternative plans, and
- 8:43Speaker 2: then last minute said can't do those alternative plans. You're
- 8:46Speaker 2: both wrong. That is a decision of the courts. I
- 8:48Speaker 2: do not care what else you guys.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Have to say.
- 8:50Speaker 7: I was trying to schedule eight. No, and now Kevin
- 8:54Speaker 7: it is just Lucy goosey. It can do whatever he wants.
- 8:58Speaker 1: All right, I'm just going wrong. I'm gonna go with
- 9:00Speaker 1: the judges ruling here.
- 9:01Speaker 3: You're both wrong.
- 9:02Speaker 1: All right, we'll take it. Thanks, thanks your honor. I
- 9:08Speaker 1: we never had firm plans to begin with, we never
- 9:11Speaker 1: had agreed on anything, so I didn't ruin any.
- 9:12Speaker 3: That was agreed upon. Yeah, for that day, brunch was
- 9:16Speaker 3: agreed upon.
- 9:17Speaker 2: You know, want to know when brunches eleven thirty to
- 9:19Speaker 2: about one o'clock, which then is the time frame that
- 9:22Speaker 2: which you had other plans.
- 9:24Speaker 3: You're both wrong.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Demand on the course.
- 9:30Speaker 6: Three things.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Just past seven o'clock on this Monday morning. Thank you
- 9:34Speaker 1: for being here. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Taylor swifts.
- 9:37Speaker 2: The Life of a Showgirl release parties gave AMC their
- 9:40Speaker 2: sixth highest day of pre sales. So the official release
- 9:44Speaker 2: party of a show Girl is October third through the fifth,
- 9:47Speaker 2: only in theaters.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Taylor just announced this recently.
- 9:51Speaker 2: You'll get to see exclusive behind the scenes footage and
- 9:53Speaker 2: the lyric videos from the new album. Taylor did say
- 9:56Speaker 2: in a social media post that quote dancing is optional.
- 9:59Speaker 3: But very much encouraged.
- 10:01Speaker 2: First a ticket sales topped fifteen million, which outpaced every
- 10:05Speaker 2: twenty twenty five film Wow. Weekend box office performance for
- 10:09Speaker 2: these screenings could reach fifty million, which is huge for
- 10:12Speaker 2: AMC and huge for theaters.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Right now, we got our tickets.
- 10:15Speaker 3: You did good. Because it's gonna be hard to get
- 10:17Speaker 3: any at this point.
- 10:19Speaker 2: And speaking of Taylor Swift, Funfetti the Cake Mix my
- 10:22Speaker 2: favorite cake mix because they do the little sprinkles on
- 10:26Speaker 2: the inside, and I know that it's just vanilla cake,
- 10:28Speaker 2: but for some reason those sprinkles make it taste better.
- 10:31Speaker 2: But Funfetti the Cake Mix has released Sourdough Mix after
- 10:34Speaker 2: Taylor Swift said that she's been baking rainbow bread. So
- 10:38Speaker 2: the bread is quote equal parts tangy, sourdough and sweet
- 10:41Speaker 2: celebration with the texture sourdough and plenty of Funfetti sprinkles.
- 10:45Speaker 3: So it's just so fun.
- 10:47Speaker 2: The box includes Sourdough bread Mix, a packet of sprinkles,
- 10:50Speaker 2: and yeast. They're all gonna be available for pre order
- 10:53Speaker 2: at Funfetti dot com starting September twenty fourth, so this Wednesday,
- 10:57Speaker 2: and then of course you're going to see them in
- 10:59Speaker 2: stores at some point, hopefully before the release of her
- 11:02Speaker 2: new album. Maybe you can listen to the album and
- 11:04Speaker 2: make your own sourdough Funfetti at home.
- 11:08Speaker 3: A little bit rainbow bread.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Action and a Nashville fave made Food and Wine Magazine's
- 11:14Speaker 2: list of best sandwich spots. Bill's Sandwich Palace in East Nashville.
- 11:19Speaker 2: They were dubbed as a quote palace of inventive over
- 11:22Speaker 2: the top sandwiches, which, if you know bills, that's exactly
- 11:25Speaker 2: the perfect way to describe them.
- 11:26Speaker 1: They have.
- 11:27Speaker 2: The craziest sandwiches is that they make there. I've seen
- 11:31Speaker 2: insane pictures of these massive sandwiches. It came in at
- 11:35Speaker 2: number nine of thirteen on the list. If you have
- 11:38Speaker 2: not checked them out, and you love sandwiches or you're
- 11:40Speaker 2: looking for a new fun spot to check out, please
- 11:42Speaker 2: go support them. I haven't been able to try any
- 11:45Speaker 2: yet because they pack out obviously, but get there.
- 11:49Speaker 1: If you do, you have to have a gluten free
- 11:51Speaker 1: bread for you.
- 11:51Speaker 2: No, but sometimes they do sour dough, okay, and I
- 11:54Speaker 2: can do sourdough, so I can mess around with that.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I'm rick Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 11:58Speaker 3: need to know.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Thank you so much, Ricky. Let's play Shaboozi and then
- 12:01Speaker 1: let's learn. Let's start this brand new week this Monday
- 12:04Speaker 1: morning with some knowledge Zach's facts. He's got something for
- 12:08Speaker 1: us in three minutes on.
- 12:09Speaker 5: The river for Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning
- 12:12Speaker 5: on one oh seven five.
- 12:13Speaker 1: The River.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Happy Monday, It's time for you to learn something new.
- 12:16Speaker 2: It's Zach's fax on one O seven five of the River.
- 12:18Speaker 10: This is super random, and I apologize for it, but
- 12:20Speaker 10: did you guys know that there are more fake flamingos
- 12:23Speaker 10: in the world than real ones?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Oh, like those plastic ones people put in their yards.
- 12:27Speaker 10: Yeah, so apparently there's between three point five and four
- 12:30Speaker 10: point five million actual flamingos in the wild, but there
- 12:34Speaker 10: are tens of millions of plastic flamingos that people have.
- 12:37Speaker 9: In their yard.
- 12:38Speaker 3: That's insane.
- 12:39Speaker 7: There's your fact that today, thanks xactly.
- 12:41Speaker 6: For Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 12:43Speaker 9: On one oh seven five the River.
- 12:45Speaker 2: What was your go to excuse for getting out of
- 12:48Speaker 2: school when you were younger?
- 12:49Speaker 3: It's one of seven five of the River.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Zach found a list of like different reasons why kids
- 12:54Speaker 2: you know, may not go to school or whatever, and
- 12:56Speaker 2: it got us started on the excuses we'd.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Get to have, like a sick day for school.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I was a good kid. I can't play along
- 13:05Speaker 1: with this, but I am curious now that I have
- 13:08Speaker 1: kids of my own, I want to know some of
- 13:09Speaker 1: these common excuses.
- 13:10Speaker 2: You never used A random excuse to get out of school.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I don't I truly don't know if I ever did.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I was pretty honest little guy with my parents.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Wow six one five, seven, three seven nine one oh seven.
- 13:22Speaker 3: What was your go to excuse?
- 13:24Speaker 2: I want to know if it worked too, Like, did
- 13:25Speaker 2: your parents fall for it or did they know that
- 13:27Speaker 2: you were lying?
- 13:28Speaker 12: I need all the details, Ricky, Zach and Menno in
- 13:31Speaker 12: the morning on one the.
- 13:33Speaker 2: River your go to excuse for getting out of school
- 13:36Speaker 2: when you were younger. We're going to be giving kids
- 13:38Speaker 2: a lot of really bad ideas here on one O
- 13:40Speaker 2: seven five of the river. Oh, in in Murphysboro. What
- 13:43Speaker 2: did you always go to?
- 13:44Speaker 9: Oh?
- 13:45Speaker 13: This wasn't mine, but my child used at once when
- 13:47Speaker 13: it was dressed like your parent day for same week,
- 13:50Speaker 13: and he said, I'd rather I think I'm going to
- 13:52Speaker 13: dress like my dad today and just probably not show up.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a great light. How old was this kid
- 13:59Speaker 1: when he said this? That is such a good line.
- 14:01Speaker 13: He was in high school and it did earn him
- 14:03Speaker 13: a day off. Yeah, so it did work.
- 14:06Speaker 3: That is hilarious. I am impressed.
- 14:09Speaker 13: I know I was too, so the day off.
- 14:12Speaker 2: You raised a kid with a great sense of humor,
- 14:14Speaker 2: and that is so important in the world to have
- 14:17Speaker 2: a good sense of humor about things. I was not
- 14:19Speaker 2: expecting that it means neither.
- 14:20Speaker 7: I didn't know where you were going with it, but
- 14:22Speaker 7: I'm glad that's where it went.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Go have a good day, Thank you so much and
- 14:25Speaker 2: have a great day of Heather eleven in what was
- 14:27Speaker 2: your go to excuse for getting out of school when
- 14:29Speaker 2: you were younger?
- 14:30Speaker 14: So it's not necessarily the excuse, but the action I
- 14:33Speaker 14: had to do with my mom is like terrified of
- 14:37Speaker 14: put So I would go in the bathroom, make the
- 14:40Speaker 14: noise like I was thrown up, and pour water into
- 14:42Speaker 14: the toilet and she would just yell at me through
- 14:44Speaker 14: the door, like back down, baby.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Oh how often would you do this?
- 14:49Speaker 8: Oh?
- 14:49Speaker 6: You know?
- 14:50Speaker 14: Just like so that's crazy.
- 14:53Speaker 7: That's also like kind of up dedication to to your craft.
- 14:56Speaker 14: I needed a little mental health, right.
- 14:59Speaker 7: Yes, I'm impressed.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Commitment to the bit is something that will always impress
- 15:03Speaker 2: us here on Ricky Zacamano in the morning, and that
- 15:05Speaker 2: his commitment to the bit.
- 15:07Speaker 14: You did a full scene, all right.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I'd get I'd get a little concerned if my kid
- 15:13Speaker 1: was throwing up once a month in the bathroom like that,
- 15:15Speaker 1: I'd warrant a doctor's appointment. I think.
- 15:19Speaker 14: You didn't want to deal with thee and I was
- 15:21Speaker 14: born in eighty eight. They did not take us to
- 15:23Speaker 14: the doctor.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Okay, good point, I get that too, Heather, thank you
- 15:28Speaker 2: so much for calling in this morning.
- 15:29Speaker 3: We hope you have a great day.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Love.
- 15:30Speaker 13: Thank you bye.
- 15:32Speaker 9: Zach.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I'm sure you could go on and on and on
- 15:34Speaker 1: about excuses you used when you were younger, But what
- 15:36Speaker 1: what was one of yours?
- 15:37Speaker 10: Honestly, I think my favorite one is I would always
- 15:39Speaker 10: blame it on my dog. I would never say like
- 15:41Speaker 10: I was sick. I would just be like, oh.
- 15:43Speaker 7: Indy doesn't feel good. I need to stay home with
- 15:44Speaker 7: my dog. And my mother would be like, yeah, you
- 15:47Speaker 7: need to stay home with Indy.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Oh, that's actually.
- 15:50Speaker 10: So sweet that I wanted to hang out with my
- 15:52Speaker 10: dog all day.
- 15:54Speaker 2: That I was not expecting as sweet and endearing kind
- 15:57Speaker 2: of excuse from Zach.
- 15:58Speaker 3: But that that's.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Adorable, that's cute. Shot not surprising that your mom would
- 16:02Speaker 1: just be like, okay, whatever, yeah, Ricky, what about you?
- 16:05Speaker 1: I'm sure you had some as well.
- 16:06Speaker 2: I had a full production. My brother and I had
- 16:09Speaker 2: full like we would tag team together that we were
- 16:12Speaker 2: both sick, like it was very much like the one
- 16:14Speaker 2: of us got the other one sick kind of thing.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Because we always.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Felt like two people, they would believe that more than just.
- 16:19Speaker 7: One does make it way more believable.
- 16:21Speaker 2: And we did a full production much like Heather, where
- 16:24Speaker 2: like we would make fake throw up and we would
- 16:27Speaker 2: like make sure that our thermometer would be really high,
- 16:31Speaker 2: put it next to the light bulb. Yes, like we
- 16:33Speaker 2: would put it right next to the light bulb, make
- 16:34Speaker 2: sure that it looked like it was really warm, and
- 16:36Speaker 2: we would play it off so smooth. And then the
- 16:39Speaker 2: worst part though, was since we were both home an
- 16:41Speaker 2: hour into it, we're fine and we're playing, and our
- 16:44Speaker 2: mom would know.
- 16:44Speaker 1: That, yeah, six three, seven, nine seven your go to
- 16:50Speaker 1: excuse for getting out of school and you were younger.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Plus don't forget we have MGK tickets.
- 16:54Speaker 12: Next with the Game of the Day, Ricky, Zach and
- 16:57Speaker 12: Menno in the morning.
- 16:58Speaker 1: On talking about go to excuses we used when we
- 17:02Speaker 1: were younger to get out of school. We have Trisha
- 17:04Speaker 1: and Chapel Hill on the line. Tricia, what was your
- 17:06Speaker 1: go to?
- 17:08Speaker 15: I used to plug my hair straightener up and my
- 17:11Speaker 15: parents used to tell me, you can't stay home unless
- 17:14Speaker 15: you're puking or you got a fever. So I'd plug
- 17:17Speaker 15: my hair straightener up and I'd put my hair straightener
- 17:19Speaker 15: up on my forehead and we walk out and then
- 17:22Speaker 15: tell them that I was running a horrible fever.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Holy would you have to burn yourself with the straightener?
- 17:28Speaker 15: No, just the back of it, not like the hot plates,
- 17:31Speaker 15: but like the backside of it.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Okay, okay, I've burnt myself more times than I can
- 17:35Speaker 2: count on one of those things.
- 17:36Speaker 3: That's why I immediately got there that you got injured.
- 17:39Speaker 1: We've talked to a few people here this morning about this.
- 17:41Speaker 1: This is the first time I feel compelled to say, kids,
- 17:43Speaker 1: do not try this.
- 17:45Speaker 15: No, we don't care. We'll do anything to say that
- 17:49Speaker 15: is true.
- 17:50Speaker 3: That is true.
- 17:50Speaker 2: A kid who is determined to stay home from school
- 17:52Speaker 2: will do anything.
- 17:53Speaker 7: Where there's a will, there's a way.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Babe, Sacs, have a great day.
- 17:57Speaker 15: Yeah, you'd me on the radio, have a great day.
- 18:01Speaker 15: Love bye.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Thanks for infecting the youth of America with your terrible ideas.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Okay, pretty bad ideas here, Kevin, just because you were
- 18:10Speaker 2: searchteen and never playing to your periods Cautius.
- 18:13Speaker 10: Kevin over here, don't you put the bear straightener on
- 18:15Speaker 10: your forehead.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I was a good kid.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Guys, don't let your parents get into school.
- 18:19Speaker 1: I was bullied for it then, and I'm bullied for
- 18:21Speaker 1: it now. I'm forty two years old. We're playing the
- 18:24Speaker 1: Game of the Day for MGK tickets.
- 18:26Speaker 6: Next Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on.
- 18:30Speaker 2: MGK is going on tour, the Lost Americana Tour.
- 18:33Speaker 3: It's gonna be phenomenal.
- 18:34Speaker 2: You can win your way in with Kevin Mano's Game
- 18:37Speaker 2: of the Day on one oh seven five the River.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I feel like it's maybe gonna be a tougher game.
- 18:41Speaker 1: It's a game we've never played before. We've done like
- 18:43Speaker 1: name that Tune in the past, but this is named
- 18:46Speaker 1: that tune.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Plus Okay, what does that mean?
- 18:49Speaker 1: Well, it's name that tune plus a trivia question. So
- 18:52Speaker 1: we're gonna play you a little clip of a song.
- 18:53Speaker 1: It's literally one second long. It's the beginning of a song.
- 18:56Speaker 1: If you can, all you really have to do is
- 18:58Speaker 1: identify the artist. Okay, just give us the artist.
- 19:00Speaker 9: Uh.
- 19:01Speaker 1: And then if you can do that correctly, you're only
- 19:02Speaker 1: halfway there. You then have to answer a trivia question
- 19:05Speaker 1: about that artist.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Okay, so you made it a little difficult this time,
- 19:08Speaker 2: but I think I think everyone's gonna be fine.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Name that Tune Plus, We're gonna play it for you
- 19:13Speaker 1: right now. If you can identify the artist from this
- 19:16Speaker 1: will one second clip you call six one five, seven,
- 19:18Speaker 1: three seven nine, one oh seven. Here we go. Today's
- 19:21Speaker 1: audio clue. Easy, it's once. Oh my gosh, Ricky says, easy.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna play it one more time. Okay, six one five, seven,
- 19:31Speaker 1: three seven nine, one oh seven. Identify that artist's Yeah,
- 19:37Speaker 1: you're right. We're playing next out of the River.
- 19:39Speaker 6: It's game time, babies, Ricky, Zach and Meno.
- 19:42Speaker 2: In the morning on Kevin really decided he was gonna
- 19:46Speaker 2: do like a way more complicated game than usual today.
- 19:50Speaker 2: But I kind of feel like it's easy. At the
- 19:51Speaker 2: same time, we're gonna get into it. It's Kevin Mander's
- 19:53Speaker 2: Game of the Day, presented by Genesis Diamonds on one
- 19:56Speaker 2: oh seven five the River.
- 19:57Speaker 1: It's called Name that Tune Plus. We added a pl
- 20:00Speaker 1: us plus represents a trivia question mark in Watertown. Good morning,
- 20:04Speaker 1: welcome to the show. How are you.
- 20:05Speaker 9: I'm good, good man.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Thanks for being here the first out. You're the guinea
- 20:08Speaker 1: pig for this new version of this game. Did you
- 20:11Speaker 1: did you hear the clue a second ago when we
- 20:12Speaker 1: played it?
- 20:13Speaker 5: I did?
- 20:13Speaker 1: Okay, good, We're gonna play it for you one more time.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I have to name the artist, and if you can
- 20:17Speaker 1: do that, answer a trivia question about that artist in
- 20:20Speaker 1: order to get the MGK tickets. Now that I say
- 20:22Speaker 1: it out loud, Ricky, it is very complicated.
- 20:24Speaker 7: It's so long.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Let's hope it'll be kind of easy. Yeah, here we go.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Here's your clue one more time. It's one second long,
- 20:33Speaker 1: the beginning of a song. Here we go.
- 20:36Speaker 4: That's it.
- 20:36Speaker 1: That's all you get. Name that artist.
- 20:40Speaker 13: I'm gonna say brand partner.
- 20:42Speaker 1: It is not. Sorry, Mark, it's ok.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Try to play again tomorrow.
- 20:47Speaker 11: Okay, all right, thank you guys.
- 20:49Speaker 6: Bye.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Oh you had a kid with them too. We turned
- 20:52Speaker 1: now to Nicole, Anthony and Nashville. Nicole, I'm gonna play
- 20:55Speaker 1: the clue for you one more time. If you can
- 20:57Speaker 1: identify the artist, I'm gonna throw a trivia question in
- 20:59Speaker 1: your way. Are you ready?
- 21:00Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 21:01Speaker 1: Okay, here we go. That's all you get. Who is that?
- 21:07Speaker 3: No, No, it's not Shaboozie.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. This is tougher than we thought that.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Thanks for playing, Nicole, Thank you bye.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Starting to sweat the game a little bit, Kevan, I
- 21:19Speaker 1: told you it was really different.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Call.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Now we go to Brittany and Leban and Brittany, I'm
- 21:23Speaker 1: gonna play the clue for you one more time. If
- 21:25Speaker 1: you know who it is, you get to answer a
- 21:27Speaker 1: trivia question. Are you ready?
- 21:28Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 21:29Speaker 15: Here we go.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Okay, that's all you get. Who is that it is? Okay, okay,
- 21:35Speaker 1: we're halfway there. Now you have to answer a trivia
- 21:37Speaker 1: question about cold Play? Are you ready?
- 21:39Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 21:39Speaker 9: All right?
- 21:40Speaker 1: Brittany. Back in July, footage from a Coldplay concert when
- 21:42Speaker 1: very viral. Can you tell us what happened at that show?
- 21:46Speaker 6: Oh?
- 21:46Speaker 15: A couple will kiss each other and they were actually
- 21:49Speaker 15: both married to someone else. Good?
- 21:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you're getting tickets to see MGK on the Loss
- 21:57Speaker 2: of Americ consour Bridge Stone Areno December sixteenth.
- 22:00Speaker 13: Sweet, Thank you so much.
- 22:01Speaker 6: Three things you need to know.
- 22:03Speaker 1: I let's go just after eight o'clock. Thank you so
- 22:05Speaker 1: much for starting your Monday with us. Ricky Sanchez has
- 22:07Speaker 1: those three things.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Sabrina Carpenter is going to make her Opry debut next month.
- 22:12Speaker 3: This is so exciting.
- 22:13Speaker 2: She's going to take the Opry stage for the first
- 22:15Speaker 2: time ever on October seventh, with country singers Kasey K. Booth,
- 22:19Speaker 2: Caitlin Butz, and Cameron Marlowe, all who will perform that
- 22:23Speaker 2: night as well.
- 22:23Speaker 3: The Opry is celebrating their one.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Hundred years and they've been going all out with their performances,
- 22:28Speaker 2: but this one is just huge. Tickets are on sale
- 22:30Speaker 2: right now on their website. I checked earlier this morning
- 22:33Speaker 2: and there were still a few there. So if you
- 22:35Speaker 2: want to see her at the Opry, go get the
- 22:38Speaker 2: tickets asap because they're going.
- 22:39Speaker 3: To sell out fast.
- 22:40Speaker 2: iHeartRadio Music Festival happened over the weekend in Vegas. We
- 22:44Speaker 2: had artists like Mariah carry Out there at Cheeran, Maroon five,
- 22:47Speaker 2: Tate McCrae and Big X, the Plug, and so many
- 22:50Speaker 2: more that were there. Lots of great moments, but my
- 22:52Speaker 2: top two favorites Okay, I'm ready for him. Maroon five
- 22:56Speaker 2: had to sing along with the Crab for she will
- 22:58Speaker 2: be loved. I'm a sucker for moments where the crowd
- 23:00Speaker 2: joins in. There's just nothing like everybody's singing together. Here's
- 23:03Speaker 2: what it sounded like.
- 23:05Speaker 4: A show shale.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Like R five is great.
- 23:24Speaker 2: It's just something though about hearing everybody together with ruevit
- 23:28Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like, oh, just awesome moment
- 23:31Speaker 2: and Ed Cheran everything at Cheron does I love. And
- 23:34Speaker 2: he put on a phenomenal show per usual, just him,
- 23:36Speaker 2: his instruments and his loop pedal, which if you have
- 23:39Speaker 2: not seen him use his loop pedal, you need to
- 23:40Speaker 2: at some point.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Here's a clip of him performing Azizam.
- 23:43Speaker 2: And keep in mind that that's not a band behind
- 23:45Speaker 2: him in this, this is his loop pedal. He made
- 23:47Speaker 2: this all happen.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Here we go Female tonight, show me.
- 23:59Speaker 7: The time, Mine mine.
- 24:03Speaker 1: He's just so cool, he's so talented, insane.
- 24:07Speaker 2: When you watch him use that loop pedal on stage,
- 24:10Speaker 2: you're just absolutely mind blown that this man can do
- 24:12Speaker 2: or that anybody can do this, not just him but
- 24:14Speaker 2: wild great show obviously, so many amazing moments.
- 24:17Speaker 3: But those are my two faves.
- 24:19Speaker 2: And I love this story so much because, you know, celebs,
- 24:21Speaker 2: they're just like us. Harry Styles ran the Berlin Marathon
- 24:26Speaker 2: under a different name, and he did really well too.
- 24:29Speaker 3: He ran the marathon under the name.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Stead Sorrandos and finished with the time of two hours
- 24:34Speaker 2: and fifty nine minutes, which put him in the top
- 24:36Speaker 2: three percent of runners.
- 24:37Speaker 1: So not just like us, we couldn't do that.
- 24:40Speaker 2: That is crazy, not specifically us, but you know, just
- 24:44Speaker 2: the average people.
- 24:45Speaker 3: And this seems to be like his new hobby.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I'm guessing because in the spring he also ran the
- 24:50Speaker 2: Tokyo Marathon in three hours and twenty four minutes.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Man, so he's just.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Out here running marathons.
- 24:55Speaker 2: You never know when you're gonna bump into Harry Styles
- 24:57Speaker 2: or stead Sorandos as he goes by.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you need
- 25:02Speaker 3: to know.
- 25:02Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Meno in the morning on one
- 25:05Speaker 5: oh seven five the River.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Half of everyone over here at one oh seven five
- 25:08Speaker 1: the River. We would like to say, happy fall.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Today's first official day.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Right pay today. Forget the fact that it's one hundred
- 25:15Speaker 1: degrees outside.
- 25:16Speaker 7: It's fall.
- 25:17Speaker 1: It's fall, y'all.
- 25:18Speaker 7: We made it.
- 25:19Speaker 9: We did.
- 25:19Speaker 1: We've been talking about decorations and spending, Ricky and I
- 25:22Speaker 1: just saw on TV people are literally spending thousands on
- 25:25Speaker 1: these like porch displays. People will come set up pumpkins
- 25:28Speaker 1: on your front porch, and it's like, hey, fifteen thousand dollars.
- 25:32Speaker 3: It's crazy, It's absolutely insane.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Halloween spending is gonna get to thirteen point one billion
- 25:37Speaker 2: this year. So how much do you spend to decorate
- 25:40Speaker 2: your home for the holidays.
- 25:41Speaker 1: That's our question for you right now. Six one five, seven,
- 25:43Speaker 1: three seven, nine, one oh seven. If you're a huge
- 25:46Speaker 1: Halloween head's no judgment here. We're not going to judge
- 25:48Speaker 1: a dollar amount. We just want to know what it is.
- 25:50Speaker 1: Six one five, seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 25:53Speaker 1: How much you spend on your Halloween decoration?
- 25:55Speaker 5: Erriki is Zach and Meno in the morning on one
- 25:57Speaker 5: oh seven five the river.
- 25:59Speaker 1: Today is the first day fall. Happy fall, y'all. H
- 26:01Speaker 1: So we're talking about spending. Halloween spending is supposed to
- 26:04Speaker 1: hit an all time high this year one or thirteen
- 26:06Speaker 1: point one billion dollars, which is blowing our minds over here.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Lauren in Nashville, good morning, what do you spend on
- 26:13Speaker 1: your fall slash Halloween decorations?
- 26:16Speaker 11: We probably spend like four hundred dollars on decorations, but
- 26:18Speaker 11: we throw a rager for adults and we spend like
- 26:21Speaker 11: twelve hundred dollars on that.
- 26:22Speaker 2: I want to come to the that's a good use
- 26:25Speaker 2: of money in Yeah, I love that.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Does everybody get super dressed up for it too?
- 26:29Speaker 6: Oh yeah?
- 26:30Speaker 2: Okay, See that's where I spend a lot of my
- 26:32Speaker 2: money is on the Halloween costumes. Like I spend a
- 26:34Speaker 2: lot of time and an insane amount of money on
- 26:37Speaker 2: like the perfect Halloween costume, and if it doesn't end
- 26:40Speaker 2: up perfect, I'm so mad that I wasted like three
- 26:43Speaker 2: hundred dollars on it.
- 26:44Speaker 11: Yeah, but then you got like me, I just have
- 26:46Speaker 11: a bin of like Halloween costume pieces which really come
- 26:49Speaker 11: in handy overtime.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Sure, that's one hundred percent true.
- 26:51Speaker 7: I have a lot of that, Lauren.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Do you know what you're what you're wearing this year?
- 26:55Speaker 1: Can you spoil it for us here? Yeah?
- 26:57Speaker 11: I can quote it for you. My husband's mad because
- 26:59Speaker 11: I'm up with my friend as Will Ferrell and Jimmy
- 27:02Speaker 11: Fallon when they do the tight pants sketch.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Phenomenal ten no notes.
- 27:08Speaker 7: I like it.
- 27:08Speaker 1: You all right, Thank you for calling. We appreciate you.
- 27:11Speaker 11: Having have a great day, guys.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Okay, of all of us, I'm probably the one that
- 27:15Speaker 1: spends the most on the decorations, Like we've amassed quite
- 27:18Speaker 1: a collection.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Of skeletons outside.
- 27:21Speaker 1: The big guys from Home Deep are the twelve foot guy,
- 27:23Speaker 1: and then we've got a couple like seven or eight
- 27:25Speaker 1: foot skeletons. Yeah, like we've we've spent some money over
- 27:28Speaker 1: the years.
- 27:29Speaker 2: You know, a couple one hundred dollars that turn into
- 27:31Speaker 2: a couple of thousand dollars, it happens. The positive about
- 27:34Speaker 2: the outside decorations like that, though, is that you use
- 27:37Speaker 2: them every year.
- 27:38Speaker 7: Use on this on that for sure.
- 27:40Speaker 1: And I'm still like, I am tempted to just throw
- 27:42Speaker 1: a sand ahead on the skeletons after Halloween.
- 27:45Speaker 7: Honestly, not against it.
- 27:46Speaker 3: I like it. Go for it up till I remember
- 27:49Speaker 3: for Christmas is a thing exactly.
- 27:51Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Every day about this time, just a bit before nine o'clock,
- 27:57Speaker 1: we play some audio from a video that want of
- 28:00Speaker 1: us found. We put it on the air here at
- 28:01Speaker 1: one oh seven five the River. We call it the
- 28:03Speaker 1: Daily double Tap. And this one is about the struggle,
- 28:06Speaker 1: the struggle going to concerts as we get older.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Kevin, you found this one, and it's just so fitting
- 28:11Speaker 2: because you are such an old man sometimes.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Well, I just don't understand why we can't serve them
- 28:15Speaker 1: a little bit anyway, all right, we'll get into it.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Here we go Today's daily double tep.
- 28:19Speaker 16: I just ordered concert tickets and doors open at seven thirty,
- 28:25Speaker 16: So the first band's probably not playing till eight thirty,
- 28:31Speaker 16: and there's four bands?
- 28:34Speaker 4: What have I done?
- 28:34Speaker 1: Who's asking for that? Who is asking for that schedule?
- 28:37Speaker 1: Who open the door is at five?
- 28:39Speaker 2: We have consistently said on the show that we would
- 28:42Speaker 2: love like a matinee concert, yes, and how I deal
- 28:45Speaker 2: that would be for us? And I just know that,
- 28:48Speaker 2: like Kevin specifically, I'll deal with the late.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Nights sometimes Zach will deal with the late nights for Consrere.
- 28:54Speaker 2: It's got to be like somebody you really love. I'll
- 28:55Speaker 2: deal with the most out of the three of us.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Kevin, when I tell him a.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Concert started at nine pm, he immediately is distraught. He
- 29:03Speaker 2: immediately goes, how much did you sleep last night?
- 29:05Speaker 3: How are you feeling this morning? Are you okay?
- 29:07Speaker 2: Like it's the worst thing that could happen to Kevin.
- 29:10Speaker 10: Kevin's stream day is the AARP specialist Kroger and then
- 29:13Speaker 10: go into a concert at noon well, yes.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I'm you're not far off deck. Like all of these
- 29:18Speaker 1: bands that I used to listen to in high school,
- 29:20Speaker 1: they're getting older with me. They don't want to go
- 29:22Speaker 1: on at nine and end at eleven or whatever it is, like,
- 29:26Speaker 1: just start the show three hours earlier.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Listen, you're old. But I don't disagree with you on this.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I would love a Matine concert, a nice like four
- 29:34Speaker 2: pm concert, six pm concert.
- 29:37Speaker 3: I'm so good with that.
- 29:38Speaker 1: I think we got to take it to Congress. I
- 29:39Speaker 1: think we have a petition to use
- 29:40Speaker 12: The Heady's Congress Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning
- 29:44Speaker 12: on one the River
