- 0:01Speaker 1: When I woke up this morning, I was feeling pretty
- 0:03Speaker 1: dangerous or on a Cincinnati. It's my team, it's my
- 0:06Speaker 1: Quarterbet they are well. We thought they were wet. Hello,
- 0:11Speaker 1: you play to win for days. They want you to
- 0:14Speaker 1: cook the dinner. At least they ought to let your
- 0:16Speaker 1: shout for some of the grocery. And on the way up,
- 0:18Speaker 1: we're gonna buy a kneecap all getting me playoffs. I'm
- 0:21Speaker 1: just here so I won't get fine. How could he
- 0:23Speaker 1: not be aromantic about football? Fact? Hello, everybody, Welcome to
- 0:29Speaker 1: the bench with Vanetta a podcast. Guys, Um, we haven't
- 0:35Speaker 1: talked in a week. I've missed you both fiercely. Um,
- 0:40Speaker 1: America is falling apart and I'm in Canada, Like, I
- 0:43Speaker 1: don't know if you guys want to come up here?
- 0:46Speaker 1: Do you want to come live with my mom? There's
- 0:48Speaker 1: lots of space in the bathroom. Uh, you know we
- 0:52Speaker 1: could put a little cot in the bathroom from Mohan
- 0:54Speaker 1: justin you can have a closet. Um and I'll just
- 0:58Speaker 1: because it's just so sad. Everything is so sad right now.
- 1:01Speaker 1: I'm so frustrated. If you've been living under a rock
- 1:05Speaker 1: and you're listening to this podcast. I don't know, maybe
- 1:07Speaker 1: go read the news Roe V. Wade was overturned earlier
- 1:10Speaker 1: this week or was it. I don't even know what
- 1:13Speaker 1: day it is anymore. And it's truly such a scary
- 1:19Speaker 1: time for women to have essentially our rights stripped from us.
- 1:25Speaker 1: There are women that are in this country that are
- 1:28Speaker 1: not going to be able to have access to get
- 1:31Speaker 1: an abortion all over the country. I think back to,
- 1:36Speaker 1: like when I was in high school and terrified to
- 1:43Speaker 1: get pregnant. That's something that you know, you guys don't experience,
- 1:48Speaker 1: or maybe you do. That's not fair for me to say.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I just can't imagine if this was put in place
- 1:55Speaker 1: and I, you know, like, oh my god, the fear
- 2:00Speaker 1: or would be even more incredible. And here's the frustrating
- 2:03Speaker 1: thing is that women are still going to get abortions.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Like they are going to find a way. We all
- 2:10Speaker 1: women find a way, okay, across everything, but they're gonna
- 2:16Speaker 1: do it in a really, really scary ways. They're gonna
- 2:19Speaker 1: have to travel. Some people aren't gonna have the means
- 2:21Speaker 1: to travel. They're not gonna have the money to travel,
- 2:22Speaker 1: They're not gonna have the support from their parents to travel.
- 2:26Speaker 1: They're gonna do it. Who knows what people are going
- 2:29Speaker 1: to come up with, but it's not going to be
- 2:32Speaker 1: in a safe, affordable, easy situation for these women and
- 2:37Speaker 1: these girls to get abortions. I want to read something
- 2:39Speaker 1: that I read online yesterday thought that I thought was
- 2:42Speaker 1: really really impactful, because you know, of course there's all
- 2:47Speaker 1: these people they're saying like, oh, you're killing babies, you're
- 2:50Speaker 1: killing babies and whatever, which is a messed up thing
- 2:54Speaker 1: to say. Anyways, if a woman wants to have an abortion,
- 2:57Speaker 1: she can, period, end of story. Is her body, it
- 3:01Speaker 1: is not yours. But this is something that I read.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Abortions aren't just oh I got pregnant because I was
- 3:09Speaker 1: being irresponsible and now I just don't feel like raising
- 3:12Speaker 1: a baby. Okay, it's that's not the only reason why
- 3:14Speaker 1: people get abortions. I guess this was sent in from
- 3:18Speaker 1: a nurse to somebody's Instagram and this person reposted it,
- 3:22Speaker 1: and I thought it was really fascinating, so I reposted it.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Fascinating and heartbreaking all in the same breath. This is
- 3:29Speaker 1: what the post says. I don't have a platform, so
- 3:32Speaker 1: I can't reach people like you can, but please share this.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I work in blank on a small Nicku floor. Our
- 3:39Speaker 1: trigger laws went into effect immediately after the decision. Of course,
- 3:43Speaker 1: we had a woman with an ectopic pregnancy walk in
- 3:47Speaker 1: at eleven thirty PM. I believe I could be very
- 3:50Speaker 1: wrong about this, but I believe an ectopic pregnancy is
- 3:53Speaker 1: when the eggs like develop outside of the uterus or
- 3:57Speaker 1: it's not good. Okay, you know you're you might die.
- 4:01Speaker 1: So this is like may day may Day one on one.
- 4:04Speaker 1: A woman walked in with an ectopic pregnancy at eleven
- 4:06Speaker 1: thirty last night. We had to basically sit on her
- 4:08Speaker 1: until the doctor could speak with a lawyer. Her ectopic ruptured.
- 4:14Speaker 1: She then did not get her procedure done for another
- 4:17Speaker 1: nine hours because the doctor was working with the lawyer
- 4:19Speaker 1: for so long trying to work around the laws and
- 4:22Speaker 1: not lose his license. By the time she had her procedure,
- 4:28Speaker 1: she had over six hundred ccs of blood in her abdomen.
- 4:33Speaker 1: She almost died. I am so scared of how often
- 4:37Speaker 1: we as nurses or going to see things like this
- 4:39Speaker 1: now and not be able to do a damn thing
- 4:41Speaker 1: about it. We were all livid at huddle tonight. Several
- 4:44Speaker 1: of my coworkers were in tears. This is already happening.
- 4:47Speaker 1: That was like day one that Row Vuewide was overturned.
- 4:51Speaker 1: People are already having to deal and it is so scary.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I can't even like I remember it's so simple, it's
- 4:57Speaker 1: so silly to have this comparison, but like it just is.
- 5:03Speaker 1: I'm we're like living in a handmaid stale right now,
- 5:05Speaker 1: which is I wish I could swear on this podcast
- 5:10Speaker 1: it's messed up and it's not I don't mean to
- 5:14Speaker 1: unlike I'm having like a jokey tone. This is just
- 5:16Speaker 1: how I deal with traumas, Like this is my defense mechanism.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I'm absolutely heartbroken and so frustrated, and I don't know
- 5:24Speaker 1: where we go from here. So I can't vote, y'all,
- 5:28Speaker 1: can Americans? I cannot wait for the day that I
- 5:31Speaker 1: become a citizen can have my voice heard too. But
- 5:33Speaker 1: just make sure you guys are really doing your research.
- 5:37Speaker 1: And I think that there's like primaries coming up. I
- 5:39Speaker 1: don't even know what is happening, but just make sure
- 5:42Speaker 1: you are voting on the people that are concerned about
- 5:46Speaker 1: the well being of women and these rights that have
- 5:50Speaker 1: been taken away. I don't even know how to talk
- 5:54Speaker 1: about football. At this point, I'm just so angry. I
- 6:00Speaker 1: was going to save this for later and the best
- 6:01Speaker 1: thing I heard, but let's just move it up a
- 6:03Speaker 1: little bit. Joe Burrow had reposted something last night on
- 6:08Speaker 1: Instagram and a lot of people were just freaking out
- 6:11Speaker 1: about it. Today. I didn't even read the comments section
- 6:14Speaker 1: because I was too angry. But me and my girlfriends
- 6:17Speaker 1: have a chat and it was just to kind of say, like, hey,
- 6:20Speaker 1: check out what Joe said. Don't read the comments, by
- 6:22Speaker 1: the way, but it was essentially I'll read the first
- 6:28Speaker 1: few lines. This is what he reposted. I'm not pro
- 6:32Speaker 1: murdering babies. I'm pro Becky who found out at her
- 6:35Speaker 1: twenty week anatomy scan that the infant she had been
- 6:38Speaker 1: so excited to bring into this world had developed without
- 6:41Speaker 1: life sustaining organs. I'm pro Susan who was sexually assaulted
- 6:44Speaker 1: on her way home from work, only to come to
- 6:45Speaker 1: the horrific realization that her assailant planted his seat in
- 6:48Speaker 1: her when she got a positive pregnancy test results. It
- 6:50Speaker 1: goes on and on and on. He's basically saying, like,
- 6:53Speaker 1: you know, it's not just how I was saying. It's
- 6:56Speaker 1: not just irresponsible women, you know, getting pregnant. But what
- 6:59Speaker 1: I want to add to that is it is also
- 7:02Speaker 1: irresponsible women getting pregnant at seventeen and wanting an abortion,
- 7:06Speaker 1: and that is totally okay. They need to be added
- 7:08Speaker 1: to that list as well, Like I want to have
- 7:11Speaker 1: an abortion period. I don't need to explain anything else
- 7:15Speaker 1: to you. I think a lot of women were kind
- 7:18Speaker 1: of vocal about that after his post, But good for
- 7:23Speaker 1: him for speaking up. I really really hope maybe we
- 7:28Speaker 1: can post this. If you're an athlete, or you are
- 7:31Speaker 1: a person with a large following, or you are literally
- 7:33Speaker 1: anybody in this world living and breathing, you have a
- 7:38Speaker 1: connection to a woman in your life. Okay, we're the
- 7:41Speaker 1: reason why you're here. And you guys did some hill too,
- 7:47Speaker 1: but women are important, raise your voice, speak up for
- 7:50Speaker 1: their rights. I really hope that you can voice your
- 7:53Speaker 1: concerns because it's all very very concerning. I know that
- 7:58Speaker 1: would mean a lot to the fans that support you
- 8:02Speaker 1: every single Sunday. So, Joe Burrow, thank you so much
- 8:05Speaker 1: for um just saying something and having a lot of
- 8:10Speaker 1: men follow you a lot of clearly by the comments,
- 8:13Speaker 1: a lot of men who are anti abortion and pro
- 8:17Speaker 1: Roe v. Wade being overturned, and it's just really important
- 8:21Speaker 1: to to speak up and also know that you know
- 8:24Speaker 1: all of us. You know, we may not be totally familiar.
- 8:28Speaker 1: All of us know somebody that's had an abortion. I
- 8:30Speaker 1: know plenty of people. You guys probably know them and
- 8:33Speaker 1: maybe you don't know. But it happens in the world.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It is a thing, and there's been a lot of
- 8:39Speaker 1: shame associated to it and there shouldn't be. Holy holy um,
- 8:45Speaker 1: Okay you want to yell. Thanks, thanks guys. Um. It's
- 8:51Speaker 1: just been a really frustrating a couple of weeks, just
- 8:53Speaker 1: everything going on in the world. Like also the just
- 8:56Speaker 1: the news is just so atricious. I can't wait to
- 8:59Speaker 1: have this is what. Not that football is going to
- 9:02Speaker 1: make everything better, but like, oh my gosh, we just
- 9:04Speaker 1: need something like positive to to watch and cheer four again.
- 9:10Speaker 1: But speaking of football, let's let's talk about something else
- 9:12Speaker 1: that's grinding my gears today. Is so let me start
- 9:18Speaker 1: with a positive thing. Baker Mayfield. We still don't know
- 9:21Speaker 1: where he is going. But something came out this week
- 9:24Speaker 1: that had the Internet a buzz. There was this fake
- 9:27Speaker 1: posting that got leaked of Baker's Seattle Seahawks Jersey. He
- 9:34Speaker 1: would look fantastic and green. Also, that is just such
- 9:38Speaker 1: a fun fan base. I've been saying, literally from the
- 9:41Speaker 1: moment that he wrote that dumb letter that everyone freaked
- 9:43Speaker 1: out about that I secretly loved. I've been saying, it's
- 9:47Speaker 1: since that moment that I would I want him to
- 9:51Speaker 1: go to Seattle. I love Pete Carroll Russell's out and
- 9:54Speaker 1: that that fan base, the twelfth Man or whatever it's
- 9:58Speaker 1: whatever it's called, is insane, and they would just wrap
- 10:03Speaker 1: him up and he would wrap them up in love
- 10:05Speaker 1: and it would just be a perfect combination. So that
- 10:08Speaker 1: came out also the Deshaun Watson news. We are all
- 10:12Speaker 1: expecting I think that it's happening today. Isn't it Tuesday?
- 10:15Speaker 1: Or is it next Tuesday? Started today? And who knows
- 10:19Speaker 1: how long it will come? Right, So that's like the
- 10:20Speaker 1: disciplinary meetings at with the NFL to kind of determine
- 10:24Speaker 1: how long he's going to be suspended for word on
- 10:27Speaker 1: the street. Is it is going to be for a
- 10:29Speaker 1: full season? A full year the suspension minimum minimum? And
- 10:35Speaker 1: who knows what might happen in that one year too?
- 10:38Speaker 1: Music to exactly the whole point. The NFL's plan was
- 10:41Speaker 1: to do an indefinite suspension, pushing for a one year
- 10:44Speaker 1: minimum to give them the flexibility if more cases come forward,
- 10:49Speaker 1: if more information comes out, that they could extend the punishment.
- 10:53Speaker 1: But the NFLPA is fighting hard for Watson's rights to
- 10:58Speaker 1: not be suspended so long. So we'll see how this
- 11:01Speaker 1: whole thing plays out. That's the worst sentence I've ever
- 11:03Speaker 1: heard in my life. Yeah, I can't wait to see
- 11:06Speaker 1: how this plays out. Who knows what's going to happen.
- 11:09Speaker 1: There's two other civil suits that came forward. Rights and
- 11:12Speaker 1: Out went from twenty two to twenty four, and the
- 11:14Speaker 1: Texans as a team have been named Yes, yes, yes.
- 11:17Speaker 1: And it's also gross to think about he's settling with
- 11:21Speaker 1: all these women with the guaranteed money that the Browns
- 11:25Speaker 1: providing him too, all throwing that out there to add
- 11:28Speaker 1: to this. It's all just disgusting. So this is happening, right,
- 11:32Speaker 1: and people are kind of going up to Baker and
- 11:33Speaker 1: being like, do you could you know if he's going
- 11:36Speaker 1: to be suspended for a year, could you see you
- 11:38Speaker 1: know that contract situation is still really messy and not
- 11:41Speaker 1: figured out. Could you see a world where you go
- 11:45Speaker 1: back and play for the Browns for a year. I
- 11:49Speaker 1: believe we have the sound right justin could we could
- 11:51Speaker 1: we play it? I think it's been pretty obvious. The
- 11:54Speaker 1: mutual decision on both sides is to move on. That's
- 11:58Speaker 1: there's no resentment towards the city of Cleveland any means.
- 12:00Speaker 1: But I think a lot of people think if they
- 12:02Speaker 1: didn't have a quarterback for the next year, but would
- 12:04Speaker 1: there be any chance of reconciliation? There No. I think
- 12:07Speaker 1: for that to happen, they would have to be some
- 12:09Speaker 1: reaching out. But we're ready to move on, I think
- 12:12Speaker 1: on both sides. Okay, so smirk right. Also, I love
- 12:18Speaker 1: that he separated the Browns from Cleveland. I love that
- 12:21Speaker 1: he was just like, there's no love lost about the
- 12:23Speaker 1: city of Cleveland. I still love Cleveland because that's who
- 12:26Speaker 1: he is. Oh, they messed up so bad. They messed
- 12:32Speaker 1: up so bad, Mohan, what do you want to say?
- 12:35Speaker 1: It's like when you're with somebody and then you leave
- 12:38Speaker 1: them for someone that's like better looking, and then you
- 12:40Speaker 1: find out that that person is awful and then you
- 12:43Speaker 1: try crawling back to get and they're just like no, sorr.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I okay, So people are kind of wigging out about
- 12:51Speaker 1: this because Mike Garifolo was just like it wasn't a
- 12:53Speaker 1: hard no, But like in watching it back another time,
- 12:58Speaker 1: like that's a hard no. He's being polite and he's
- 13:01Speaker 1: not being like confrontational. If he was just like, no chance,
- 13:06Speaker 1: headlines would have gone nuts. Oh my god, I Baker
- 13:09Speaker 1: hate the Browns. Oh I got even more drama. Like no,
- 13:11Speaker 1: he's he is rising above the drama and just saying
- 13:15Speaker 1: I think we're both ready to move on, and you know,
- 13:19Speaker 1: that's that and that's fine. Like he seems like he's content,
- 13:22Speaker 1: don't you guys think, like looking at his face, the smirk,
- 13:26Speaker 1: like he's fine. I feel like he's also learned and
- 13:29Speaker 1: a little matured a little bit from his like past
- 13:31Speaker 1: media interactions where he has created those headlines, Like he
- 13:34Speaker 1: knows how to be more diplomatic and still say what
- 13:37Speaker 1: he means without creating the drama that he's been known
- 13:41Speaker 1: to do in the past. Yeah, he's growing up, which
- 13:44Speaker 1: is also disappointing because like part of the you know,
- 13:47Speaker 1: I remember that summer that he was like slamming back
- 13:49Speaker 1: beers and like every you know interception, people are like, well,
- 13:53Speaker 1: maybe he shouldn't have chugged some beers at azebonging, like
- 13:55Speaker 1: shut up, he was living his life. Yeah, but like
- 13:59Speaker 1: you know, people already loved Baker so much, and then
- 14:01Speaker 1: he would have matured and he would have gotten better
- 14:03Speaker 1: and he would have been healthy this year and then
- 14:05Speaker 1: oh what could have been? Really actually still bombs me out.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I could cry, Oh, football, what are you doing to
- 14:12Speaker 1: me in my life? Okay? What else is? What else
- 14:17Speaker 1: is going on in the football world? I guess we're
- 14:20Speaker 1: just getting term. Mcclaurin signed a big contract extension on
- 14:24Speaker 1: Tuesday to make him a top five paid wide receiver,
- 14:27Speaker 1: largest signing bonus ever given to a wide receiver three
- 14:30Speaker 1: years in Washington. So it's been a pretty crazy wide
- 14:34Speaker 1: receiver off season this summer. When is the money going
- 14:37Speaker 1: to stop being insane? Or is it like picture five
- 14:40Speaker 1: years picture, Just five years from now, we're going to
- 14:44Speaker 1: be hearing dollar amounts that we have never heard of
- 14:48Speaker 1: in our lives. The salary capital will always continue to rise,
- 14:53Speaker 1: but it will be up to the owners. Like there
- 14:56Speaker 1: are certain owners in the NFL that have more cash
- 14:59Speaker 1: to spend and than others, and like they're worth however,
- 15:03Speaker 1: many billions of dollars that usually they don't have that
- 15:05Speaker 1: money available to just like spend. So some teams like
- 15:08Speaker 1: the Rams, who have a cash flush owner, are going
- 15:11Speaker 1: to be able to keep doing these mega deals and
- 15:14Speaker 1: it could create an imbalance of power in the end
- 15:17Speaker 1: of Okay, yeah, like that seems I keep on referring
- 15:20Speaker 1: back to like my soccer days, but I don't know
- 15:22Speaker 1: if you guys remember, like last summer or maybe a
- 15:24Speaker 1: couple of summers ago, there was like this whole newsdrop
- 15:27Speaker 1: of like a super League. Do you guys remember this,
- 15:30Speaker 1: And everyone went wild because it was just going to
- 15:33Speaker 1: be like a couple of teams that have a ton
- 15:36Speaker 1: of money and like all of these other small teams,
- 15:39Speaker 1: these like beloved The reason why football is football in
- 15:44Speaker 1: the UK is because these small little teams like all
- 15:47Speaker 1: of those would be gone and it would just be
- 15:49Speaker 1: these mega, mega teams. I kind of worry about like that.
- 15:54Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying, Like there's gonna be eventually an imbalance,
- 15:58Speaker 1: and there is feel like the Rams are the own
- 16:00Speaker 1: a team that can everyone that just seems like not,
- 16:04Speaker 1: it's just taking the fun out of it though, because
- 16:06Speaker 1: then it's it's just like the richest team. It's like
- 16:09Speaker 1: Manchester City, Like the richest team is always just gonna win.
- 16:12Speaker 1: What mean, why am I talking so much about soccer's day? Um?
- 16:15Speaker 1: All right, we are going to take a quick break.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I've got a crazy story on the other side of
- 16:19Speaker 1: the break in best and worst things that I have
- 16:22Speaker 1: heard this week, So don't go anywhere. Who's based Okay, guys,
- 16:36Speaker 1: buckle up, buckle the heck up. My mom's husband is
- 16:44Speaker 1: a little bit of like a historical intellectual, like he
- 16:50Speaker 1: knows everything about all the things all the time. Um,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and he loves taking me on these tours of like
- 16:56Speaker 1: the town that they live in because it's very there's
- 16:58Speaker 1: a lot of you know, war stuff and historical jargon.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I clearly don't really listen to him because I can't
- 17:05Speaker 1: repeat what he is actually telling me. But anyways, he's
- 17:08Speaker 1: taken me to a bunch of these really cool places.
- 17:11Speaker 1: And he took me on a ghost tour the other day.
- 17:17Speaker 1: There was a ghost tour of Fort Henry, which is
- 17:20Speaker 1: in Kingston, Ontario. This fort has never seen a battle yet.
- 17:24Speaker 1: There have been multiple weird deaths over the years, like
- 17:30Speaker 1: insanely weird people getting shot in the head by accident,
- 17:34Speaker 1: like weird, weird stuff. So there's an official ghost tour
- 17:37Speaker 1: that walks around this fort. So me, we convinced my
- 17:41Speaker 1: mom to go, which she hates this stuff. She washed
- 17:44Speaker 1: her leg was just like shaking the entire time, like
- 17:46Speaker 1: when is this thing going to be over? I know.
- 17:49Speaker 1: It was very sweet, but we dragged her. So we're Okay.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Let me preface this by saying, you guys have to
- 17:57Speaker 1: believe this story. I'm not making this up. I'm not lying,
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'm not fibbing. Okay, I'm not exaggerating. This is a
- 18:05Speaker 1: real true ghost encounter. WHOA Okay, So we're starting on
- 18:10Speaker 1: this tour. He's telling us about this guy that got
- 18:12Speaker 1: his head blown off whatever, and then we're walking around
- 18:16Speaker 1: like the above the four and there was no one there,
- 18:19Speaker 1: not a soul. It was totally quiet, was just us.
- 18:23Speaker 1: We're walking around and kind of like looking down into
- 18:26Speaker 1: this like big area where they do all the drills.
- 18:29Speaker 1: So we're kind of on a high rise and we
- 18:32Speaker 1: sit down for a second and this our tour guide,
- 18:35Speaker 1: who by the way, was wearing a cape and like
- 18:37Speaker 1: just like played the role to the nines. Congratulations. He
- 18:40Speaker 1: was great. He's telling us this story. I'm kind of
- 18:43Speaker 1: like half listening and all of these seagulls are all
- 18:47Speaker 1: of a sudden, everywhere, these seagulls, and they were like squawking.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I don't know if there was like food found or whatever.
- 18:56Speaker 1: And in the in the voice of a seagull, we
- 19:03Speaker 1: heard twice get out twice one time and then get
- 19:12Speaker 1: out again in the voice or something. No, it wasn't
- 19:19Speaker 1: a bit because our tour guide I go and I
- 19:23Speaker 1: look at my mom and she looks at me. She
- 19:30Speaker 1: looks at me, and then we look above to my
- 19:33Speaker 1: brother Jonas, and he's looking at us, and we all
- 19:36Speaker 1: said at the same time, like did you just hear that?
- 19:39Speaker 1: The three of us, And then our tour guide stops talking.
- 19:41Speaker 1: He's just like, did you guys hear something? And we're like,
- 19:44Speaker 1: they just told us to get out the seagulls and
- 19:47Speaker 1: he's just like wait. Because he broke character for this moment.
- 19:51Speaker 1: That's how I know it was real, as he was
- 19:53Speaker 1: playing the character all along and he broke character and
- 19:55Speaker 1: he was genuinely scared because we were alone and he
- 19:59Speaker 1: had to take us on this scary as tour get
- 20:02Speaker 1: out not once twice in the seagulls voice. The ghosts
- 20:06Speaker 1: were communicating through the seagulls, and then after we heard
- 20:09Speaker 1: get out, the seagulls went away. They stopped, they were gone.
- 20:13Speaker 1: When you're laughing, it's I got chills when you told
- 20:18Speaker 1: that story. Thank you, justin because it's your tour. Guid's
- 20:22Speaker 1: also probably a trained actor that I'm sorry. Did you
- 20:26Speaker 1: think that he was no, no, no, stop, There was
- 20:29Speaker 1: no one else there. Okay, it came from way far away.
- 20:33Speaker 1: It wasn't him squaking. It wasn't him squaking in our ear.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Get out, Like, no, it wasn't him. He didn't have
- 20:41Speaker 1: a buddy over there. Okay. We got yelled at, we
- 20:46Speaker 1: got told to get out. And this was at the
- 20:47Speaker 1: beginning of our tour. And then all of a sudden
- 20:49Speaker 1: we had to like we had a little moment. And
- 20:52Speaker 1: I kept on laughing because I was so you know,
- 20:55Speaker 1: when you just can't handle information, like I just was
- 20:57Speaker 1: so uncomfortable. I just kept on giggling. Um. And then
- 21:01Speaker 1: we went down like into it was like limestone dungeons
- 21:05Speaker 1: that we went down into. It was really scary. Uh,
- 21:09Speaker 1: And the light started flickering and my mom was like, bye,
- 21:12Speaker 1: I'm out, So I had my very first actually this
- 21:18Speaker 1: was my second ghost encounter. Have you guys ever seen ghosts? No? Never,
- 21:23Speaker 1: I have had what's it called sleep sleep parent paralysis. Yeah,
- 21:28Speaker 1: were you wake up? Did you wake up screaming? No?
- 21:31Speaker 1: I just like woke up and I couldn't move my
- 21:33Speaker 1: body or open my eyes. Did you see anything? No?
- 21:37Speaker 1: But I couldn't move. So I think it could have
- 21:39Speaker 1: been possessed by a ghost. Oh so you believe that,
- 21:44Speaker 1: but you don't believe my seagull possession. Yeah. It Anyways,
- 21:49Speaker 1: I had a ghost encounter, and I feel good about it.
- 21:51Speaker 1: I'm glad that I have one under my belt. Did
- 21:53Speaker 1: you get any um souvenirs? Souveniers? They don't have like
- 21:58Speaker 1: a gift shop at the the got sorry you say that?
- 22:02Speaker 1: Say that word again? Souvenirs? Interesting, very interesting? Sue? Sue?
- 22:09Speaker 1: Is that? Sue? Is that a regional? Is that regional?
- 22:11Speaker 1: Is that? Is that Cleveland souvenirs? So many souvenirs, so
- 22:18Speaker 1: many souvenirs? S is it? Su? S Yeah? So s
- 22:28Speaker 1: O U sue s o U v E se. I
- 22:33Speaker 1: think it's a it's a it's a regional thing. But yeah, yeah,
- 22:37Speaker 1: sorry everyone in Cleveland is saying the word souvenir is wrong. Apparently,
- 22:40Speaker 1: let's post a pull on Twitter. Is it souvenirs or souvenirs?
- 22:43Speaker 1: And see right about I was right about the toothpaste.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I'm right about this. I just don't want to be
- 22:50Speaker 1: still think about the toothpaste moments when I breath Everyone
- 22:53Speaker 1: right about everything? What kind of psycho so gross? Um,
- 22:58Speaker 1: I didn't get any so years, although I wish I
- 23:01Speaker 1: kind of bought a cape that would have added to
- 23:03Speaker 1: the moment. But my mom's husband did buy me a
- 23:06Speaker 1: little book of history from the town that I have
- 23:10Speaker 1: not read yet, but I will dive in shortly anyway.
- 23:13Speaker 1: So that was the best thing that I heard all
- 23:15Speaker 1: week because it was a freaking ghost. And also Joe
- 23:17Speaker 1: Burrow I wanted to add his post to that list
- 23:20Speaker 1: as well. Okay, it has come time to break up
- 23:24Speaker 1: some relationships. I was just going through this list. I
- 23:26Speaker 1: can't believe that there are still some teams on this list. Okay,
- 23:32Speaker 1: first things first, let me start with the one that
- 23:34Speaker 1: I just like. I'm just a little like not excited
- 23:38Speaker 1: about this team. Sorry, I know that se Quon Barkley
- 23:43Speaker 1: came out with this photo. This week of him looking
- 23:45Speaker 1: absolutely shreded. I'm gonna let go of the Giants. I'd
- 23:51Speaker 1: rather keep the Jets till the end than the Giants.
- 23:55Speaker 1: I can't have two New York teams in play here.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna let go of the Giants. Jones isn't doing
- 24:00Speaker 1: it for me. Sae Quon Barkley. I really hope he
- 24:03Speaker 1: stays healthy. The hand is up. What no, I was
- 24:06Speaker 1: waving goodbye oh bye to Yeah, it's we don't even
- 24:10Speaker 1: have an argument, like sorry, this is not the team.
- 24:14Speaker 1: I want to cheer for him, So the Giants are gone.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I'm also going to kick off the forty nine ers. Oh,
- 24:20Speaker 1: this is an interesting one. I loved watching the forty
- 24:24Speaker 1: nine ers in the playoffs this year, like I wanted
- 24:26Speaker 1: them to be in the super Bowl. I thought it
- 24:27Speaker 1: was so much fun. This like Cinderella story. I'm a
- 24:30Speaker 1: fan of Jimmy Ge me too. I think he's a
- 24:33Speaker 1: very interesting guy. You hear all these stories about him
- 24:35Speaker 1: being super quirky and super weird, but people like love
- 24:38Speaker 1: him anyways. He is a beloved character in the locker room.
- 24:43Speaker 1: It's Jimmy Gee. But why I want to leave them
- 24:49Speaker 1: in the dust is not because of him. It's because
- 24:52Speaker 1: of Kyle Shannahan. I don't think that I would be
- 24:57Speaker 1: able to handle all of the Shanahan media situations because
- 25:04Speaker 1: every single week he talks to people, He's like, I
- 25:07Speaker 1: don't know if any of us are going to be
- 25:09Speaker 1: alive this week. I can't tell you who's going to
- 25:11Speaker 1: be the starting quarterback on Sunday. I don't need that
- 25:15Speaker 1: from my head coach. Also, the back and forth is
- 25:18Speaker 1: a Jimmy Jus a Trey Lance. We don't even know
- 25:20Speaker 1: who the quarterback is going to be. I just need
- 25:22Speaker 1: somebody that's that knows what he wants, and it's I
- 25:25Speaker 1: don't think it's Kyle Shanahan. And also, I don't know
- 25:27Speaker 1: who's going to be the quarterback next year so right
- 25:29Speaker 1: this season, So why would I sign up for something
- 25:32Speaker 1: like that? True? So bye bye forty nine ers. Okay,
- 25:36Speaker 1: And the last one is pretty easy I'm saying about it.
- 25:40Speaker 1: The Texans, I don't even know why they. I don't
- 25:43Speaker 1: even know why they're still on the list. To be
- 25:44Speaker 1: honest and honestly, am I bad that it's taken me
- 25:46Speaker 1: this well? I think they were in our good graces
- 25:50Speaker 1: for a little while because they let him go. But
- 25:52Speaker 1: now we've heard so much about the ickiness of the
- 25:55Speaker 1: whole situation and the security giving deshaun n a and
- 26:00Speaker 1: did just did not Skid's not good. It's not good.
- 26:05Speaker 1: The head person for the head person for the massage
- 26:10Speaker 1: company that the Texans like contracted came to the Texans
- 26:14Speaker 1: and said, your quarterback's going outside to other companies. Why
- 26:18Speaker 1: is this happening? This is a lawsuit waiting to happen
- 26:21Speaker 1: like this. She called it months and years ago, even guys,
- 26:25Speaker 1: that's insane. Um, Okay, last little bit of info before
- 26:29Speaker 1: we sign off here. I'm hitting the road again, baby.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I am going to no Braska. I am going to Colorado.
- 26:36Speaker 1: I'm going to see a Cubs game somewhere in there.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I am going to Utah, through Las Vegas and then
- 26:45Speaker 1: finally home. And I'm so excited to be back in
- 26:50Speaker 1: the studio soon. We're getting ready. It's gonna be July.
- 26:55Speaker 1: We are inching closer to August. I think we get
- 26:59Speaker 1: hard Knox in August. End of August. Right, football is
- 27:03Speaker 1: around the corner. Um, I leave you with August ninth.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Is the hard knocks with you beginning of August. I
- 27:11Speaker 1: think so heck yea. UM, I leave you with some
- 27:16Speaker 1: thoughts of positivity and a big hug during these times
- 27:20Speaker 1: that are very scary. And we love you guys. UM,
- 27:24Speaker 1: I love you two. Thank you for showing up every
- 27:27Speaker 1: single week. Thank you guys for listening to our cute
- 27:29Speaker 1: little podcast. Um. We're taking the week off next week
- 27:32Speaker 1: because I'm going to be on the road, and then
- 27:34Speaker 1: who knows when we'll talk next. But we are so
- 27:37Speaker 1: catted for football to get here. Baker, maybe I'll go
- 27:41Speaker 1: bye bye
