- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's almost famous podcast. We are here today with I
- 0:09Speaker 2: would say at this point our most consistently favorite co host,
- 0:13Speaker 2: Zachary Reality Zachary, welcome back.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Thank you for having me back.
- 0:19Speaker 4: I'm so excited to be back and excited to get
- 0:21Speaker 4: into it with you guys.
- 0:22Speaker 2: We have so much to get into. Let's start out
- 0:24Speaker 2: with this. We all have a take. I don't want
- 0:28Speaker 2: to say an opinion because that feels weird. A take. Gabby,
- 0:32Speaker 2: Wendy and Robbie got married. I think it was announced yet,
- 0:37Speaker 2: like this morning or yesterday. It was a seven and
- 0:40Speaker 2: ninety nine dollars Las Vegas wedding. The videos are out.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I hadn't even heard rumors that they were going to
- 0:49Speaker 2: get married. I mean we did. I don't think this
- 0:50Speaker 2: is a shock to anybody. They got married. I just
- 0:53Speaker 2: kind of heard rumors that they're even thinking about it.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Maybe I was out of the loop. So I'd love
- 0:56Speaker 2: to hear from you guys what I missed and what
- 0:58Speaker 2: you think of it all.
- 1:00Speaker 5: Well, they weren't engaged or so we didn't know they
- 1:03Speaker 5: were engaged. But yeah, I wonder where did the ceremony
- 1:08Speaker 5: take place. Do you know zach Las Vegas? Oh, I
- 1:10Speaker 5: know it loves Vegas. Was that like at the Little
- 1:13Speaker 5: White Wedding Chapel like so many other celebrities.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It was definitely out of chapel. They've moved.
- 1:19Speaker 4: They've been together for two years, so I don't think
- 1:21Speaker 4: it's the craziest thing in the world. It's like, I
- 1:23Speaker 4: don't know if fans think it was like after like
- 1:25Speaker 4: three months, but it definitely was a little shocking that
- 1:28Speaker 4: they kept it a secret for two months and then
- 1:30Speaker 4: it conveniently breaks the week of the Traders finale and reunion.
- 1:33Speaker 4: So that is the only opinion or take that I
- 1:36Speaker 4: have on Otherwise, like, good for them, it's how they
- 1:39Speaker 4: wanted to do it and seem fun.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Okay, Now I am so out of the loop, Zachary.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I have not been following anything, and so you're gonna
- 1:47Speaker 2: have to just teach me. And hopefully there's somebody listening
- 1:50Speaker 2: that doesn't know either, and so I'm not wasting their time.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Is Gabby still on Traders at this point?
- 1:54Speaker 4: She's gonna be in the finale, She's in the top six,
- 1:58Speaker 4: definitely the top five.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Okay, so this is a big week for her. It's
- 2:01Speaker 2: a huge show. Everybody's watching Traders this season. She's in
- 2:05Speaker 2: the top, you know, six or five, she's up there
- 2:07Speaker 2: at the top. She's going to be in the finale show.
- 2:09Speaker 2: And then at the same time she has this announcement
- 2:13Speaker 2: where she got married. I did see that there were
- 2:16Speaker 2: some like traditions to this ceremony that were implemented. They
- 2:21Speaker 2: did do it in Vegas. Do we know anything else
- 2:24Speaker 2: about the wedding.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Yeah, they were married on January eleventh. Oh goodness, Yeah,
- 2:31Speaker 5: that's the date on the caption.
- 2:33Speaker 4: That's why I'm saying it's just weird, and I don't
- 2:36Speaker 4: you know. At this point, it's like Ashley.
- 2:37Speaker 3: You do this too.
- 2:38Speaker 4: I mean I think sometimes as a reality start, we
- 2:40Speaker 4: publicize and we could profit off of our personal lives
- 2:44Speaker 4: and you know all all you know, power tour.
- 2:47Speaker 5: So she definitely dropped these pictures, probably because of the Traders.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Finally, she probably talked about it at the Traders reunion,
- 2:54Speaker 4: which was the last week, and then she wanted to
- 2:57Speaker 4: you know, share it on her own terms before she
- 2:59Speaker 4: got into more depth talking about it on the reunion.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I do want to talk about social media strategy
- 3:05Speaker 2: here for a second. And I've never been one the
- 3:06Speaker 2: claim that I know what to do and when to
- 3:08Speaker 2: do it. But wouldn't this story you think be best
- 3:12Speaker 2: like saved because she's going to get pressed from being
- 3:15Speaker 2: on the reunion, so her name's going to be out
- 3:17Speaker 2: there in headlines. People are going to be talking about her.
- 3:19Speaker 2: If she waited one more month when this starts to
- 3:22Speaker 2: die down from Traders and then shared that she got married,
- 3:25Speaker 2: don't you think that would have been more beneficial?
- 3:27Speaker 3: No?
- 3:27Speaker 4: I think the reunion is the peak. It's going to
- 3:29Speaker 4: be the highest rated show. I always tell people like,
- 3:32Speaker 4: say everything you have to say at a reunion because
- 3:35Speaker 4: that's what everyone's watching. So I think that's why the
- 3:38Speaker 4: timing is the way it is.
- 3:39Speaker 5: Okay, perhaps there was some sort of proposal we're looking at.
- 3:44Speaker 5: I'm looking at the carousel photos right now on Instagram
- 3:46Speaker 5: and one of them says, will you marry me Gabby
- 3:49Speaker 5: on a crossword puzzle, a digital crossword puzzle. So maybe
- 3:54Speaker 5: we'll get the proposal story during the duraking etch a
- 3:58Speaker 5: sketch almost it kind of me back, So.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Let's say something I think during the reunion. It's it's
- 4:03Speaker 4: so interesting because Gabby was just so different on the
- 4:06Speaker 4: Bachelor and on Dancing with the Stars. So it's just
- 4:09Speaker 4: like this new version of her, this new era, Like
- 4:10Speaker 4: I truly feel like she's piqued and she's become her
- 4:12Speaker 4: most authentic self, and I think that's what's really resonating
- 4:15Speaker 4: with everyone all over the world.
- 4:18Speaker 5: Yeah, Okay, Zach, I might be asking a politically incorrect
- 4:21Speaker 5: question here, but I'm going to ask you. I know
- 4:23Speaker 5: you're part of the lgbtq Q community, so just ask him. So, okay,
- 4:31Speaker 5: she says husband and wife.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Is this that's a good question.
- 4:35Speaker 5: I'm just gonna like, let you take that over from here.
- 4:38Speaker 3: For sure. I don't think it matters.
- 4:39Speaker 4: I think sometimes I just say things without meaning, Like
- 4:42Speaker 4: I can call myself a she, but I'm not. I'm
- 4:45Speaker 4: still a boy. Like I'm not a she, but I
- 4:46Speaker 4: don't think we take labels that seriously. So I really
- 4:49Speaker 4: think it's probably all that.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Was he transitioned, right, I.
- 4:52Speaker 4: Don't think so, I don't know. I honestly don't know.
- 4:55Speaker 4: So I don't know why his pronouns. But I just
- 4:58Speaker 4: don't think the husband and wife was that deep. I
- 5:00Speaker 4: think it was just like a joking fun caption.
- 5:02Speaker 5: Okay, because she calls you know, because Gabby calls herself
- 5:05Speaker 5: a lesbian on.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Yeah the show? Right, yeah, so she's a lesbian. So
- 5:09Speaker 4: she says that I don't know what Robbie's pronouns are,
- 5:12Speaker 4: so right.
- 5:13Speaker 2: These are these are this is I think, Zachary, thanks
- 5:16Speaker 2: for answering these questions or walking through them with us
- 5:19Speaker 2: to kind of close this thought up. Was this the
- 5:21Speaker 2: first time? Because it made a lot of headlines? Was
- 5:23Speaker 2: this the first time Gabby had came out publicly and
- 5:27Speaker 2: said that she was a lesbian on Traders? Because it
- 5:29Speaker 2: felt like a bigger story than what I thought it
- 5:32Speaker 2: would be, because I thought we all knew this for years,
- 5:34Speaker 2: or at least.
- 5:35Speaker 4: The first episode someone asked her about The Bachelor and
- 5:39Speaker 4: she was like, oh, I'm a lesbian now. So she
- 5:41Speaker 4: said that on episode one, and she originally came out
- 5:44Speaker 4: as a lesbian on the View I think about two
- 5:47Speaker 4: years ago. Okay, Oh, and she got into a relationship
- 5:50Speaker 4: pretty quickly.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, that makes more sense. I was like,
- 5:53Speaker 2: why is this a story? I don't get it. I
- 5:55Speaker 2: thought this was just the thing that had been you know,
- 5:57Speaker 2: I thought this was already a story, or she'd already
- 5:59Speaker 2: came out publicly. Well, with all this being said, congratulations
- 6:04Speaker 2: to Gabby because here's what I do know. Talk to
- 6:07Speaker 2: her close friends. I won't say name, some close friends
- 6:09Speaker 2: of hers within the Bachelor Nation world. When Gabby and
- 6:12Speaker 2: Robbie first started dating, and they told me that I'll
- 6:15Speaker 2: never forget it because I said, what is going on
- 6:17Speaker 2: with Gabby? In all honesty, I was confused, thrown off, like,
- 6:21Speaker 2: what is happening right now? Helped me make sense of
- 6:24Speaker 2: what Gabby is walking into. And they said, Gabby is
- 6:28Speaker 2: so happy, They're so in love. They're gonna get married.
- 6:32Speaker 2: And I said, wow, Okay, that now clears up everything
- 6:36Speaker 2: that I've been confused by. And obviously now they are married,
- 6:39Speaker 2: So congratulations to the two of them on making it official.
- 6:43Speaker 2: It's a big deal. I'm also, though, quite honestly, from
- 6:45Speaker 2: what I know about Robbie, shocked that they got married.
- 6:48Speaker 2: I never thought this would happen. I never saw Robbi
- 6:51Speaker 2: saying we're going to actually like put a title or
- 6:54Speaker 2: make it like this covenant together in marriage. I thought
- 6:57Speaker 2: this was just gonna be a thing they did forever.
- 6:59Speaker 2: But hey, they obviously love each other, they're obviously wanting
- 7:03Speaker 2: to make this something more serious.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I mean she scored.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I mean Gabby Wendy is like hot as hot af
- 7:09Speaker 4: I mean like you gotta wipe that up while you can.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Yeah, well that happened Las Vegas. Yeah, it is absolutely fantastic.
- 7:18Speaker 2: That was the first big story. Then we're gonna walk
- 7:21Speaker 2: into all these other stories that are happening in Bachelor Nation.
- 7:23Speaker 2: The reason that Zachary is here today we do a
- 7:25Speaker 2: Headlines episode every week breaking down these headlines that happen
- 7:29Speaker 2: in Bachelor Nation, and they're some big, some small. Most
- 7:32Speaker 2: of the time they're kind of passover headlines. We have
- 7:35Speaker 2: some headlines right now, including Gabby, that are ones that
- 7:39Speaker 2: we need to discuss with an expert, and that's why
- 7:41Speaker 2: Zachary is here. Ashley, last night, I'm getting text I
- 7:45Speaker 2: just had a newborn. You guys got to stop texting
- 7:47Speaker 2: me at eleven o'clock at night.
- 7:48Speaker 5: That's absolutely as Hey, it's not me, it's our producers.
- 7:52Speaker 5: But the point is, Zachary, you are kind of the
- 7:56Speaker 5: headline this week. Exciting Carol, who is one of the
- 8:01Speaker 5: more attention grabbing the contestants from this season of the Bachelor,
- 8:07Speaker 5: tell us about the drama that's going down between you two.
- 8:11Speaker 4: It's so crazy because she finally texted me back right
- 8:15Speaker 4: before we hopped on, like literally, gosh.
- 8:17Speaker 5: Perfect, good, good good. Maybe she knew, she had a
- 8:19Speaker 5: spidey sense that you were going to talk about it
- 8:24Speaker 5: again right.
- 8:24Speaker 4: So thank god because now I know how she feels,
- 8:27Speaker 4: because originally she didn't talk to me for two days
- 8:30Speaker 4: after she got upset so quickly, and I tried to
- 8:33Speaker 4: resolve things offline, but then it became impossible because of
- 8:36Speaker 4: what she was posting. So I feel like, what went
- 8:40Speaker 4: down is the question, like from the beginning, I don't
- 8:42Speaker 4: know if you guys saw it that I put it
- 8:43Speaker 4: out on TikTok the full.
- 8:45Speaker 5: Story, So let's part one here. She went to Women
- 8:49Speaker 5: Till All this week, and she was quite public in
- 8:53Speaker 5: speaking about how she has gotten more screen time by
- 8:58Speaker 5: a lot than any other contestant on GRAMD season, which
- 9:00Speaker 5: is however, we have the data, the Bachelor data has
- 9:05Speaker 5: gotten out there and shown just how much screen time
- 9:08Speaker 5: she's gotten over anyone else. But she was kind of
- 9:12Speaker 5: ticked off that they didn't allow her to talk to
- 9:16Speaker 5: the press because at Women Tell All, usually the girls
- 9:19Speaker 5: that get the most screen time the fan favorites or
- 9:22Speaker 5: the villains or whatnot usually go to the press room
- 9:25Speaker 5: afterward and talk to Access and E and you know,
- 9:28Speaker 5: all the other major outlets that are there. They did
- 9:31Speaker 5: not want her there, and this did not make her
- 9:34Speaker 5: happy because I think she wanted to explain herself, and
- 9:38Speaker 5: she's alluding on her Instagram story that they didn't want
- 9:42Speaker 5: her to explain herself.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:45Speaker 4: I mean, from what I'm hearing, it sounds like the
- 9:47Speaker 4: women to all went in circles for her. It sounds
- 9:49Speaker 4: like there wasn't resolution. A lot of the girls were
- 9:52Speaker 4: trying to make up with her and they weren't able to.
- 9:54Speaker 4: So I think that there might have just been so
- 9:57Speaker 4: much talking in circles that it just felt like she
- 9:59Speaker 4: was so emotional and maybe it was best that she
- 10:01Speaker 4: didn't do press so that she can kind of calm
- 10:03Speaker 4: down and collect her thoughts and do a podcast after
- 10:05Speaker 4: she has more time to process things when she's just
- 10:08Speaker 4: in a more clear headspace to be more articulate.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Okay, Well, this sounds to me as if that possibly
- 10:14Speaker 5: the Bachelor wants her to go on. Joe and Serena's
- 10:18Speaker 5: podcast was just the official Bachelor podcast where they go
- 10:21Speaker 5: for more long form explanations.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Well, this is the official Bachelor podcast.
- 10:25Speaker 5: To me, well, thank you. We like to think of
- 10:27Speaker 5: ourselves the same as we are along with Caitlin Bristow
- 10:31Speaker 5: the first podcast.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Right, but she does interviews with a lot of people
- 10:35Speaker 4: like you guys are all Bachelor Nation like mostly to
- 10:37Speaker 4: their core. And I told Ashley this, like, I binge
- 10:40Speaker 4: your episodes during my road trip and I love it.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Thank you so much. So, but do you do you
- 10:44Speaker 5: speculate the same?
- 10:46Speaker 4: No, I think I just I don't think it's about
- 10:48Speaker 4: the podcast, sure, but I think it's just what I said.
- 10:50Speaker 4: I think she just really was too emotional and that's
- 10:52Speaker 4: probably why they didn't have her due press That's just
- 10:55Speaker 4: my opinion.
- 10:55Speaker 5: My opinion is that they want her to go on
- 10:57Speaker 5: the other podcast.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Well that's that two things can be true.
- 11:00Speaker 6: Okay, this is true.
- 11:12Speaker 2: In my experience on the show, I do think there
- 11:15Speaker 2: would be a fear of somebody overly emotional going on
- 11:20Speaker 2: to a press room. I think there's too much that
- 11:25Speaker 2: could be said in the midst of anger, in the
- 11:29Speaker 2: midst of sadness about the show. Not that there's these
- 11:32Speaker 2: crazy things that the show is trying to hide. There
- 11:34Speaker 2: really isn't She could say a lot of things that
- 11:37Speaker 2: contestants for years have said about editing and camera time
- 11:41Speaker 2: and all these things that it's like, that's kind of true,
- 11:43Speaker 2: but if you're really ever on a shoot, it's not
- 11:46Speaker 2: really the full story. So there's a ton of things
- 11:48Speaker 2: that she could say. But I'm guessing there's something about
- 11:52Speaker 2: what like the path she was going now where the
- 11:54Speaker 2: show said this would be bad if it gets out
- 11:57Speaker 2: in an interview, like this could be the could go wrong,
- 12:01Speaker 2: Which brings me to my question that we started this
- 12:04Speaker 2: thing with that I'm unfamiliar with, Zachary, how did you
- 12:07Speaker 2: get involved in this?
- 12:09Speaker 4: So long story short, We me and Carolina worked together
- 12:13Speaker 4: about two and a half years ago a shoot. She
- 12:16Speaker 4: works at a do you say where? Yeah, she works
- 12:19Speaker 4: at like a she used to I don't know if
- 12:21Speaker 4: she does. She works at like a company called flight House.
- 12:23Speaker 4: So it was just like a campaign. They hire influencers
- 12:24Speaker 4: to come in for the day. It was like a
- 12:26Speaker 4: KFC ad, like a little dating show, and Chris Olsen
- 12:29Speaker 4: was actually the bachelor and I was one of the
- 12:31Speaker 4: three contestants. She was the producer for the day, so
- 12:34Speaker 4: I was with her the whole day, which is strange
- 12:36Speaker 4: for me because I usually don't leave the house during
- 12:37Speaker 4: the day. So we got close and we vibed. But
- 12:40Speaker 4: I haven't seen her or talked to her in two
- 12:41Speaker 4: and a half years. So then once I found out
- 12:44Speaker 4: that she was going on the show, when they announced
- 12:45Speaker 4: the cast, I reached out to her and was like, hey,
- 12:48Speaker 4: oh my gosh, so excited, and then she reached out
- 12:50Speaker 4: back and we restarted, you know, some type of friendship then.
- 12:55Speaker 4: So we've been talking all season, and you know, I
- 13:00Speaker 4: she did reach out to me last week about something
- 13:01Speaker 4: and I gave her some good advice for The Women
- 13:03Speaker 4: Tell All and just really encouraged her to speak her mind.
- 13:05Speaker 4: And then a few days later I decided to text
- 13:07Speaker 4: her on Monday and I said, how is The Women
- 13:09Speaker 4: Tell All? And then she proceeded to tell me how
- 13:12Speaker 4: it was, and unfortunately, it did not go well for her,
- 13:16Speaker 4: and she.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Walked off stage.
- 13:20Speaker 4: And she told me that she walked off stage during
- 13:25Speaker 4: some type of break where the girls were touching up
- 13:27Speaker 4: their makeup and they weren't supposed to leave their seats.
- 13:29Speaker 4: From what I'm hearing from someone else, but that's the
- 13:32Speaker 4: time that they were had a second of downtime so
- 13:34Speaker 4: she was able to.
- 13:35Speaker 3: So then she walked off stage and.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Was crying and was just really emotional about how all
- 13:39Speaker 4: the girls were, you know, ganging up on her, and
- 13:42Speaker 4: the cameras followed her backstage, which I think she really
- 13:45Speaker 4: felt was an invasion of her privacy. And sure, you know,
- 13:48Speaker 4: I agree with that. I mean, obviously it's up for debate.
- 13:50Speaker 4: It's a TV show. Maybe you guys can weigh in,
- 13:52Speaker 4: but I completely understand that it was a really traumatizing
- 13:54Speaker 4: experience for her. And I've been, you know, just trying
- 13:57Speaker 4: to support her all season and also living for the
- 13:59Speaker 4: tea that she spills because hello, like I love the Bachelor,
- 14:03Speaker 4: So everything's always been in confidence when we've talked. But
- 14:06Speaker 4: after she told me that she walked off stage, I
- 14:09Speaker 4: decided to tweet I heard that someone walked off stage
- 14:12Speaker 4: and that you can't guess who. So that really triggered
- 14:15Speaker 4: her because even though I didn't say any names or
- 14:17Speaker 4: reveal where my source came from, she felt like I
- 14:19Speaker 4: kind of misled the situation. And I do feel that
- 14:23Speaker 4: I kind of did a little bit as well, but
- 14:25Speaker 4: I also apologized immediately, and you know, I would have
- 14:28Speaker 4: deleted it she just reacted so quickly, so then she
- 14:30Speaker 4: posted our text online and things started to transpire from there.
- 14:35Speaker 5: Okay, so here's my take. I think that, yes, why
- 14:39Speaker 5: are you saying guess who? It does allude to her
- 14:41Speaker 5: as she's been the kind of drama queen this season.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Sure, but also up for debate because there was another
- 14:47Speaker 4: tweet about Dina could have been anyone totally.
- 14:50Speaker 5: I think that she's also being a little dramatic by
- 14:54Speaker 5: saying by being so upset by it and by posting
- 14:57Speaker 5: your text messages.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, and I feel like that too. So that's
- 15:01Speaker 4: why I just wish that she could have texted me
- 15:03Speaker 4: immediately and said, hey, like that was a rude text.
- 15:07Speaker 4: I mean, that was a rude tweet, like can you
- 15:08Speaker 4: delete it or something?
- 15:09Speaker 3: You know what I mean.
- 15:10Speaker 4: But within ten seconds, she was already calling me dirty,
- 15:12Speaker 4: saying that I'm as evil as the producers and posting
- 15:15Speaker 4: our text online, making it seem like to everyone who
- 15:17Speaker 4: doesn't have the full context, that I am dirty and
- 15:19Speaker 4: then I am evil in producers, evil as producers, when
- 15:22Speaker 4: in reality, it was just one misstep of a tweet
- 15:25Speaker 4: that I apologized for immediately gave her a heads up
- 15:27Speaker 4: that I was going to say something. It's not like
- 15:29Speaker 4: it was blindsided, and like, I, what the hell? Like
- 15:33Speaker 4: we've been talking for over a month, Like there's been
- 15:36Speaker 4: so many things she's told me that I've never ever
- 15:38Speaker 4: and still would never like expose. So I just felt
- 15:40Speaker 4: like I was trying to do my job and tease
- 15:42Speaker 4: to my followers that there was going to be some
- 15:44Speaker 4: big explosive moment at the Women Tell All, and I probably,
- 15:47Speaker 4: like you know, made it a little bit more dramatic,
- 15:49Speaker 4: and that's what ticked her off.
- 15:50Speaker 3: And then she went even more dramatic.
- 15:52Speaker 4: And now I feel like it's okay.
- 16:03Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, Well you teased to us that you talked
- 16:09Speaker 5: to her right before getting on this podcast.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Yeah, what did she say?
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 16:14Speaker 4: So I haven't heard from her in a couple of days.
- 16:16Speaker 4: So everything I felt about it I said on my
- 16:19Speaker 4: TikTok And I also did Courtney Robertson's podcast yesterday, so
- 16:22Speaker 4: feel free to listen if you guys care. But she
- 16:24Speaker 4: basically just texted me twenty minutes ago saying that she
- 16:28Speaker 4: did not want a beef with anyone and that she
- 16:30Speaker 4: just felt disappointed that I reached out to her as
- 16:32Speaker 4: a friend and that I kind of made things worse
- 16:35Speaker 4: for her by posting it on TikTok, and that you know,
- 16:39Speaker 4: she just wanted some more empathy and that you know,
- 16:42Speaker 4: didn't want me to add fuel to the fire. So
- 16:45Speaker 4: that's basically what she just said. And my response is, like,
- 16:48Speaker 4: I wasn't trying to add fuel to the fire. She
- 16:51Speaker 4: was posting a bunch of stories about the women Tell All.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Therefore I have to report on the stories also trying
- 16:57Speaker 4: to like tease it from my followers, you know, like
- 16:59Speaker 4: there's there's so many blurred lines here that like I
- 17:01Speaker 4: just never had ill intentions, and her and her friends
- 17:04Speaker 4: accused me of having ill intentions multiple times, and we're
- 17:06Speaker 4: really trying to fight with me in comment sections, and
- 17:08Speaker 4: it was just so frustrating to have my character be
- 17:11Speaker 4: so questioned, and you know, you know what I mean,
- 17:13Speaker 4: It's like so ridiculous because it's just like, come on,
- 17:16Speaker 4: Like I always gave her the benefit of the doubt
- 17:18Speaker 4: as I watched the show, Like clearly she's made a
- 17:21Speaker 4: lot of mistakes on the show, and I felt like
- 17:22Speaker 4: I was defending her all season long. So the one
- 17:25Speaker 4: time that I make the slightest mistake in a tweet
- 17:28Speaker 4: she runs to that and then kind of sends her
- 17:31Speaker 4: friends to attack me.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Is just uncalled for.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Some contexts here. So from the outside looking in, if
- 17:39Speaker 2: we're sitting down having during talking through this, what you know,
- 17:44Speaker 2: signing up for Rally television opened you up to these
- 17:47Speaker 2: type of scenarios. And it's not that people are out
- 17:49Speaker 2: to get you. However, I see where Carelyne is coming
- 17:52Speaker 2: from and the fact that she probably feels like everybody's
- 17:54Speaker 2: out to get her, because all season it seemed like
- 17:57Speaker 2: everybody was out to get her. So this whole show
- 17:59Speaker 2: except exactly so I'm gonna get to you. But on this,
- 18:03Speaker 2: on the filming of the show, I've always been more
- 18:07Speaker 2: supportive of her than probably the television screen portrays, because
- 18:12Speaker 2: it's like you are sitting in an impossible scenario. Nothing
- 18:15Speaker 2: you could say goat went over well, and nothing you
- 18:18Speaker 2: didn't do went over well. So you were stuck, Carolyn,
- 18:20Speaker 2: Like this sucks. You got in that vacuum, in that
- 18:23Speaker 2: cycle that the Bachelor sometimes throws people into, and you
- 18:26Speaker 2: can't get out of it, and it's best just to
- 18:27Speaker 2: go home because you're not gonna win here. However, You're
- 18:32Speaker 2: gonna be fine and if she listens to this, I
- 18:34Speaker 2: want her to know that she's gonna be fine, not
- 18:36Speaker 2: in the way of like, hey, you're gonna like one
- 18:38Speaker 2: day be okay. It's like this is actually gonna be
- 18:40Speaker 2: a really good thing for you. Like give it a
- 18:42Speaker 2: week here and don't overreact, and everybody's gonna be talking
- 18:47Speaker 2: about you. Everybody's gonna be reaching out to you. You're
- 18:51Speaker 2: gonna be one of maybe two or three girls this
- 18:54Speaker 2: season that's remembered in two more years. Everybody else is
- 18:58Speaker 2: gonna go on with their lives. You actually have a
- 19:00Speaker 2: chance to go on some of these other shows, or
- 19:02Speaker 2: to do some press interviews or whatever you want to do.
- 19:05Speaker 2: We would love to have you on the Almost Famous podcast.
- 19:07Speaker 2: We'd love to talk to you. We don't want to
- 19:08Speaker 2: talk to everybody from the season, but we definitely want
- 19:10Speaker 2: to talk to you Carolina. And then the next is
- 19:13Speaker 2: I think when it comes to you, she probably in
- 19:17Speaker 2: that moment, I'm assuming, felt like you're one more persons
- 19:20Speaker 2: that is coming after her. And the truth is, if
- 19:24Speaker 2: you look at it from the outside, it's like I
- 19:26Speaker 2: read that tweet, I saw I follow you on X,
- 19:29Speaker 2: I saw what you tweeted. I never once thought you
- 19:31Speaker 2: were going after somebody. I think all it was doing
- 19:33Speaker 2: was highlighting a situation that happened on the show that
- 19:36Speaker 2: people are going to now want to pay more attention to.
- 19:38Speaker 2: And I actually think you did a favor by doing that.
- 19:40Speaker 2: And I hope she sees that because you're not out
- 19:43Speaker 2: to get her. I mean, I guess you should answer
- 19:45Speaker 2: that question, Zach, are you act to get her?
- 19:48Speaker 5: No?
- 19:48Speaker 4: Okay, that was just the hardest part for me, Like,
- 19:51Speaker 4: I just don't like people questioning my intentions like that,
- 19:53Speaker 4: Like especially Avia's just that was what really bothered me.
- 19:56Speaker 2: She's she's sensitive. I get why. I get why she's
- 19:58Speaker 2: on edge right now. The show sucked for her. It
- 20:01Speaker 2: hasn't gone well. It's been a brutal experience since the beginning.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Airing it back was a brutal experience. She got the
- 20:07Speaker 2: most television time and most of it was just people
- 20:10Speaker 2: ripping on her. I get why she's on edge, But
- 20:12Speaker 2: at that in three months, she's gonna like all this
- 20:16Speaker 2: is gonna calm down. She's going to look back in
- 20:18Speaker 2: this scenario with you and go I was so on
- 20:20Speaker 2: edge that I overreacted to something that was actually not
- 20:23Speaker 2: intentionally out to hurt me, and I'm sorry.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Absolutely. I hope that she realizes that. I'm sure she does.
- 20:30Speaker 4: And that's and I've noticed that she's gotten so much,
- 20:33Speaker 4: you know, backlash this season. So I was just really
- 20:35Speaker 4: disappointed that, you know, allegedly she spondered the opportunity at
- 20:39Speaker 4: the women tell all, because I really, like I was
- 20:41Speaker 4: saying earlier about reunions, that is your chance to say
- 20:44Speaker 4: it all. And that's why I gave her such good advice.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Before the tell all.
- 20:48Speaker 4: I sent her a long paragraph giving her advice, and
- 20:51Speaker 4: you know, it's unfortunate that she didn't take it.
- 20:54Speaker 5: And her complained. My take on her complaining about the
- 20:57Speaker 5: cameras following her than making a scene out of her
- 21:02Speaker 5: going backstage, It's like, yeah, well, you can't really complain
- 21:06Speaker 5: about your lack of privacy because you did sign up
- 21:09Speaker 5: for a reality show.
- 21:10Speaker 6: And yes, the cameras are going to follow you if
- 21:12Speaker 6: you're crying.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, crying. Crying is a matriate for cameras. Yeah, you
- 21:17Speaker 2: start crying, cameras are everywhere. I do want to ask you, guys,
- 21:20Speaker 2: you both are very familiar with the show. Would this
- 21:23Speaker 2: be the first time ever that somebody's walked off stage
- 21:26Speaker 2: at a reunion, like actually walked off stage.
- 21:29Speaker 5: And it sounds like she wasn't in the hot stage
- 21:31Speaker 5: and walked off stage, so I would say that it's
- 21:33Speaker 5: not that dramatic.
- 21:34Speaker 3: I mean, we I love a walk off stage moment.
- 21:36Speaker 4: Like Also, like I was, I was trying to rally
- 21:39Speaker 4: for her, like get people excited, like this tell all
- 21:41Speaker 4: is going to be lit, like she's gonna walk off stage,
- 21:43Speaker 4: like let's go. Like I was never trying to, like,
- 21:46Speaker 4: you know, make her uncomfortable because like, well, when we
- 21:48Speaker 4: see the show, then we can all be like, whoa,
- 21:50Speaker 4: what happened?
- 21:51Speaker 3: Right?
- 21:51Speaker 4: So I will always give her the benefit of the doubt.
- 21:53Speaker 4: So I'm excited to see the tell all and see
- 21:54Speaker 4: how it plays out on TV. And obviously, you know
- 21:58Speaker 4: it gets cut down, so unfortunately things will be cut
- 22:01Speaker 4: and could be misconstrued. But I do hope that it
- 22:03Speaker 4: is portrayed as accurately as possible because I'm excited to
- 22:06Speaker 4: see what went down.
- 22:07Speaker 2: I'll be watching it now. I mean I was gonna
- 22:09Speaker 2: have to watch it before because we have to talk
- 22:10Speaker 2: about it, but I'll be really excited to watch this now,
- 22:13Speaker 2: knowing that at some point she gives the peace sign.
- 22:16Speaker 2: I mean that takes some courage, right, Ashley, You've been
- 22:18Speaker 2: on that stage before. To get up and walk out
- 22:21Speaker 2: takes a lot of like you either really mad or
- 22:26Speaker 2: you're very very strong. I would have never, in my
- 22:30Speaker 2: wildest dreams got off and walked off that stage. I
- 22:32Speaker 2: was so scared of the producers that I would have
- 22:35Speaker 2: that scene for as long as I need it.
- 22:37Speaker 5: That is so true. Yeah, if you don't want attention
- 22:42Speaker 5: stared your seat, I mean, I.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Get it, though, Like she probably was breaking, Like I'm
- 22:46Speaker 4: sure it's so brutal having ten to twelve girls to
- 22:49Speaker 4: come down your throat and you know, not being able
- 22:51Speaker 4: to articulate your feelings because you're so emotional. So like
- 22:53Speaker 4: she was probably waiting for that one moment that she
- 22:56Speaker 4: could just walk off stage and have a second to
- 22:58Speaker 4: herself and just break down. Like I'm sure that was
- 23:00Speaker 4: such a hard day for her. So I do want
- 23:02Speaker 4: to just apologize if I added anything to that to her.
- 23:07Speaker 4: I really just didn't ever wanted to do that. I
- 23:10Speaker 4: just felt like this was a situation that like everyone
- 23:13Speaker 4: had to be held accountable, and I helped myself accountable
- 23:15Speaker 4: as well.
- 23:16Speaker 5: And I also just want to mention that you and
- 23:19Speaker 5: I did defend Carolina a lot during this season. It
- 23:23Speaker 5: wasn't until the last episode that she was on that
- 23:26Speaker 5: I was like, Okay, maybe not the best move, but
- 23:30Speaker 5: there were a lot of reasons for her to be
- 23:32Speaker 5: upset throughout the season that I think I think she
- 23:36Speaker 5: got a bad rap for. And now, thanks Zach, you
- 23:40Speaker 5: have made us look forward to women tell All that
- 23:42Speaker 5: we don't really Yeah, thanks for being an advocate for
- 23:48Speaker 5: the show.
- 23:49Speaker 4: All a reunion a finale, Sign me up, I'm all
- 23:52Speaker 4: about it that That is just like my ideal night
- 23:56Speaker 4: any time of the week is a reunion.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I love it each Have you ever been to a
- 24:00Speaker 2: Tell All Live?
- 24:02Speaker 4: Well, I just went to Jones Golden Bachelorette for the
- 24:05Speaker 4: first time ever. I was wanting to go for years,
- 24:07Speaker 4: so it was so exciting.
- 24:08Speaker 2: You got to get yourself a regular ticket to those things.
- 24:11Speaker 2: They're wild. When you're there in person, You're like, is
- 24:13Speaker 2: this really happening? Am I going to get to watch
- 24:16Speaker 2: this on television? Hey? Final thoughts? I know you and
- 24:19Speaker 2: Ashley talked about this. It's been what two weeks a
- 24:22Speaker 2: week and a half since you've been on the show.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Kind of your summary thoughts as Grant season comes to
- 24:27Speaker 2: an end. We just got through Hometowns, We're walking into
- 24:30Speaker 2: the week of Fantasy Suites. Are you still enjoying this
- 24:33Speaker 2: season as much as you did, you know two episodes ago.
- 24:36Speaker 4: I always enjoy it more towards the end, and that's
- 24:39Speaker 4: what I always tell everybody, like it always gets better
- 24:41Speaker 4: those last few episodes.
- 24:42Speaker 3: So let's go.
- 24:44Speaker 4: I'm so excited to see what's going to happen. I
- 24:46Speaker 4: am very confident on who he picks, but I am
- 24:50Speaker 4: not one hundred percent confident they are still together and
- 24:52Speaker 4: that things are hunky dory. So I am more excited
- 24:55Speaker 4: to see where this couple is at at after the
- 24:57Speaker 4: final rows, if they're actually going to make it work.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Are they putting on a show? Are they happy?
- 25:01Speaker 4: And that is what is getting me tuning in and
- 25:03Speaker 4: what is making me excited about the end of the season.
- 25:06Speaker 5: Zach, that's a whole other conversation.
- 25:10Speaker 4: We will have to leave it there for now, but
- 25:12Speaker 4: I will come back next week.
- 25:14Speaker 5: Why are you not so sure about the happy ending?
- 25:17Speaker 5: It would it have to do with what goes down
- 25:19Speaker 5: at the finale or something that has gone down since
- 25:23Speaker 5: they've gotten engaged.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Particularly I said, I'm not one hundred percent sure, but
- 25:28Speaker 4: I did hear that there could be some issues, some.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Issues, but it might not.
- 25:35Speaker 4: You know, I'm keeping it so vague, which sucks, right
- 25:38Speaker 4: because I don't want it because it's all right, But
- 25:41Speaker 4: there just could be, you know, there's something to look
- 25:44Speaker 4: forward to. I think there is going to be some
- 25:46Speaker 4: revelations and some drama, and I think fans are going
- 25:48Speaker 4: to be really excited to see what actually happens.
- 25:51Speaker 2: But the final two, how will Grant be remembered?
- 25:53Speaker 5: Then?
- 25:54Speaker 2: In your opinion, Zachary, at the end of all this,
- 25:57Speaker 2: making the assumptions you're making, knowing what you know and
- 26:00Speaker 2: what you've seen so far, how like, who would you
- 26:04Speaker 2: compare Grant to in terms of how people think of
- 26:07Speaker 2: him as the Bachelor?
- 26:08Speaker 4: I like the who I would say they'll maybe make it,
- 26:11Speaker 4: maybe compare him to Zach Shallcross.
- 26:14Speaker 2: I love Zach so much. We just don't think about
- 26:16Speaker 2: a season very and.
- 26:18Speaker 4: I am totally reserving all judgment for Grant so far.
- 26:22Speaker 4: I think he's done a great job as a bachelor.
- 26:24Speaker 4: He's been kind, respectful and mature, and I am you know,
- 26:28Speaker 4: will give my opinions when I see the episodes.
- 26:30Speaker 5: Can I say one thing before we wrap with you.
- 26:34Speaker 5: Ben has heard that he may pick a winner in
- 26:40Speaker 5: an unconventional way.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Do you hear the same the most unconventional way, like
- 26:45Speaker 2: a way that will make no fans happy?
- 26:48Speaker 3: I haven't heard anything like that.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Oh, okay, we'll wait and see.
- 26:52Speaker 5: I thought that was perhaps why there has been drama
- 26:55Speaker 5: with papers.
- 26:56Speaker 4: We will chats. We will chat so soon, I promise.
- 26:59Speaker 5: Okay, okay, let's do it. We'll have you back on soon.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you, guys.
- 27:03Speaker 5: Until next time. I've been Ashley, and I've been.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Ben, and I've been Zachary, say all.
