- 0:46Speaker 4: the Avid Indoorsman. Hello everyone, Hello, how are you buddy?
- 0:51Speaker 5: Oh my god, I'm so good. I feel like it's
- 0:53Speaker 5: been so long, And how are you. I'm doing really
- 0:57Speaker 5: really well. I feel the same way.
- 0:59Speaker 4: It felt like we were we were talking like every
- 1:01Speaker 4: two seconds, and then we had like a full.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Week off, full week off. It was crazy, it was nuts.
- 1:06Speaker 2: It was madness.
- 1:08Speaker 3: So when is the last time we did talk? Because
- 1:10Speaker 3: I would have been I should have figured this out.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Well, we we both were at the Minnesota Links game.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Yeah, but we.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Kind of just saw each other from Afar and we
- 1:22Speaker 4: sent each other pictures.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Every Yeah, so I hadn't the Blues Brothers Show the
- 1:28Speaker 3: last episode.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Right right, we had talked about you about to do it.
- 1:33Speaker 3: It has now happened. It was wonderful. It was very fun.
- 1:39Speaker 3: We looked great. If I do say so myself, you
- 1:43Speaker 3: sure did. Actually, a little spoiler alert, my brother is
- 1:46Speaker 3: going to be coming on here, my brother Jake and Elwood.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Elwood is going to be coming out.
- 1:54Speaker 5: Jesus, it's going to do pretty good at the games tonight.
- 1:57Speaker 2: I feel like.
- 2:01Speaker 3: He's gonna be on here in just a while. But yeah,
- 2:03Speaker 3: the shows were super fun, dude. That the one of
- 2:08Speaker 3: the hooking Ladder, I think we sold out. That was
- 2:11Speaker 3: like a more of a theatery kind of thing, although
- 2:13Speaker 3: it's outside ish. And then there was a blues festival
- 2:16Speaker 3: and there was like they said, like twelve to fifteen
- 2:19Speaker 3: hundred people there or something, so so much fun.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It was really fun, dude, it was great.
- 2:24Speaker 4: I know I was supposed to go, I was on
- 2:26Speaker 4: the list, and like when I was supposed to go over,
- 2:31Speaker 4: I got hammered with.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Well with rain, with rain, with rain, that.
- 2:36Speaker 5: Is not what happened.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Lydia had a tournament, no, and just like I don't
- 2:43Speaker 4: think rain was in the forecast.
- 2:45Speaker 5: If it was.
- 2:45Speaker 4: I didn't notice it because it was perfect. When we left,
- 2:48Speaker 4: it rained hard torrential downpour.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Yeah, but I was soaked everywhere and I was like,
- 2:55Speaker 5: if my if my undies wouldn't have been as soaked,
- 2:58Speaker 5: I would have. But I just yeah, I looked like
- 3:02Speaker 5: a wet rat. Like it was gross. I don't blame
- 3:05Speaker 5: you one bit, no worries, no worries.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Hopefully we'll get to do it again. We'll see.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:10Speaker 5: It's really fun though, that'd be super cool.
- 3:12Speaker 2: It was really neat.
- 3:16Speaker 5: In this in this little bit of time off.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Did you see any movies I did? Yeah, I watched
- 3:20Speaker 2: I believe.
- 3:21Speaker 3: It was Netflix and I should confirm and I have
- 3:24Speaker 3: it was Netflix. I watched a new movie from this year.
- 3:28Speaker 3: It's called Office Romance.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Have you heard jals movie? Yeah?
- 3:33Speaker 3: This is the Jlo and Brett Goldstein movie. Yes, And
- 3:37Speaker 3: I'm just looking quick because he loves to write.
- 3:40Speaker 2: He did. He helped write this movie. So that's kind
- 3:42Speaker 2: of fun.
- 3:43Speaker 5: If I'm gonna write a movie where Jalo is my
- 3:46Speaker 5: love interest.
- 3:47Speaker 3: H this is like Fabroau and he's like, I don't know,
- 3:51Speaker 3: it's Carl Johansson maybe, Okay, great, cool, same thing this
- 3:59Speaker 3: In this movie. It is a straight rom com, although
- 4:02Speaker 3: it is rated R, so it is like they you know,
- 4:05Speaker 3: they go a little further with like the jokes and
- 4:07Speaker 3: stuff like that, but it is a very silly rom com.
- 4:11Speaker 3: She is the like CEO of an airline company, and
- 4:17Speaker 3: he is a lawyer that has like some backstory stuff,
- 4:19Speaker 3: but he is an English lawyer that has come over
- 4:22Speaker 3: and is now practicing in the States and is part
- 4:25Speaker 3: of her her office. And you know, they, despite them
- 4:30Speaker 3: having differences, they fall in love and then it's silly
- 4:34Speaker 3: from there. I actually had a really good time watching this.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It was maybe like ten minutes longer than it had
- 4:40Speaker 3: to be, Like, there was ten minutes where I was like, come.
- 4:42Speaker 2: On, guys, like this, you're pushing it a little bit now.
- 4:45Speaker 3: But I really thought it was super funny and it
- 4:49Speaker 3: was very silly and a good time. And man, j
- 4:51Speaker 3: Lo still got it. She's still great. She's so funny
- 4:55Speaker 3: in those movies too. I kind of wish she just
- 4:57Speaker 3: did like tons of them. I know she thinks she's
- 5:00Speaker 3: you know, she's just really fun. She's just all of
- 5:03Speaker 3: her movies they all seem very real too somehow, you know,
- 5:06Speaker 3: like despite them being.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Absurd circumstances and whatever.
- 5:10Speaker 3: I don't know. She's really enjoyable to watch, and I like,
- 5:13Speaker 3: he's great.
- 5:14Speaker 5: I love him, dude. The fact that she's fifty six
- 5:16Speaker 5: years old just blows my mind. I keep seeing footage
- 5:19Speaker 5: of her, like in her concerts and stuff.
- 5:22Speaker 4: I'm just like, wow, you're crazy. Yeah, she's still beautiful.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Like she's like this app raise Still it's nuts. I'm
- 5:32Speaker 3: not agent will personally personally now, I was talking about
- 5:37Speaker 3: me too. I know that your vehement agreeance was heard
- 5:43Speaker 3: and hurtfull.
- 5:45Speaker 5: How about you check that out?
- 5:47Speaker 3: It's on Netflix.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I really did enjoy it.
- 5:49Speaker 3: How about you?
- 5:49Speaker 2: What have you been watching?
- 5:51Speaker 5: I went to the theater with my dad at nine
- 5:53Speaker 5: forty five am.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Oh, perfect time, love that.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Like you do, And we saw the news Fielberg action
- 6:01Speaker 5: alien movie Disclosier day.
- 6:03Speaker 3: I haven't been able to see it and he still
- 6:06Speaker 3: makes me sad. No, I had my brother was in town,
- 6:09Speaker 3: my actual brother, and you know, so we were doing
- 6:12Speaker 3: like stuff.
- 6:13Speaker 2: But yeah, right, how was it?
- 6:15Speaker 3: Did you love it?
- 6:16Speaker 4: We had a bunch of fun with this movie. There
- 6:18Speaker 4: are definitely some flaws to it. Sure, Sure, I didn't
- 6:22Speaker 4: care for some cgi that was like main plot points. Oh,
- 6:28Speaker 4: and the fact that he's like such a master with CGI,
- 6:31Speaker 4: like I thought for sure there were dinosaurs back in
- 6:34Speaker 4: nineteen ninety like it looked bad.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Ever that was I mean, we're just weird, okay kind
- 6:39Speaker 5: of you know, like I know that I'm not. You
- 6:42Speaker 5: see it in the trailer, but you know they have
- 6:44Speaker 5: like a CGI bird and a CGI like deer and
- 6:47Speaker 5: it's just like just so clearly not. Yeah, and it's
- 6:51Speaker 5: like a big part of the movie.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Like just think of a different shot. I don't know,
- 6:55Speaker 3: what do you need from me?
- 6:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:57Speaker 4: So that and there's probably some story stuff too. But
- 7:02Speaker 4: Emily Blunt is absolutely incredible in it. She gets to
- 7:06Speaker 4: really show off a lot in this. It's one of
- 7:09Speaker 4: her best performances, honestly.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Really, that's cool.
- 7:14Speaker 4: There were some super intense, fun action sequences. I feel
- 7:18Speaker 4: like I haven't seen a big Spielberg action movie in
- 7:21Speaker 4: a long time, so, yeah, he's just so great at those. Yeah,
- 7:26Speaker 4: there were amazing shots in it. My dad and I
- 7:28Speaker 4: saw it on the imagines Imax screen, which is an EMX.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Screen, super big one. Right. Yeah, it's so much fun
- 7:35Speaker 2: to watch a movie.
- 7:37Speaker 5: I'm going to see The Odyssey there for sure, good shout.
- 7:41Speaker 4: But yeah, we had a really fun time. It's not
- 7:45Speaker 4: my favorite movie in the world, but it was very.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Fun to see in the theater. Love it.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna I gotta get out to see that
- 7:51Speaker 3: this weekend. Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Probably.
- 7:53Speaker 3: There's so many movies I want to see right now.
- 7:55Speaker 5: There are, and there's a lot that are streaming. Have
- 7:57Speaker 5: you been streaming anything?
- 7:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yes, although not of film. I watched a TV
- 8:02Speaker 3: show that you had recommended previously. I watched The Entirety
- 8:07Speaker 3: of Big Mistakes, also on Netflix.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Nice. You did recommend this one, right, I didn't make
- 8:13Speaker 2: that up in my brain.
- 8:15Speaker 5: I am actually blanking on one. Oh, I did watch that.
- 8:21Speaker 5: Cool and I did like I thought you did. I
- 8:23Speaker 5: couldn't think of what the name was.
- 8:25Speaker 3: No Worries, No worries at all. This was for other
- 8:29Speaker 3: folks who may not remember. It's about some family and
- 8:33Speaker 3: specifically two siblings that get sort of like blackmailed into
- 8:37Speaker 3: the world of organized crime.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Is sort of the.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Pitch that they have on there, and it is. It
- 8:43Speaker 3: is so dark but so funny. There's like the crime
- 8:46Speaker 3: elements that happen in there, but mostly it's just like
- 8:49Speaker 3: a family comedy kind of. It's like Shit's Creek with
- 8:54Speaker 3: Ozark or something like.
- 8:55Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:56Speaker 3: I don't know how to explain it to ital was
- 8:58Speaker 3: it's really funny.
- 9:01Speaker 5: I love dark. Dan Levy is so funny obviously, but
- 9:05Speaker 5: that Taylor Ortega his sister, really funny. She was great,
- 9:09Speaker 5: But isn't it?
- 9:11Speaker 4: That was one of the things I was just like,
- 9:12Speaker 4: I can't believe that that Rachel sent it. I don't
- 9:16Speaker 4: know how you say your last name, but she was
- 9:17Speaker 4: in like Shiva baby and all that.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Why is she in?
- 9:20Speaker 5: It's like she would have been that role perfectly too,
- 9:24Speaker 5: so she would have kept thinking also perfect.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred percent. That's so yeah, that is fun.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I forgot you said that, but you're one hundred percent
- 9:32Speaker 3: right about that. Laurie Metcalf, I know we talked about before,
- 9:35Speaker 3: is so great as well, so great and as the
- 9:37Speaker 3: mom she is hysterical. But yeah, just so many, so
- 9:43Speaker 3: many fun spots in this, And like you said, they're
- 9:45Speaker 3: all pretty short episodes, so you like like got crank
- 9:48Speaker 3: through them and it was really fun. It was just
- 9:51Speaker 3: enough like story drama to keep you interested. But the
- 9:54Speaker 3: comedy is what really shines through for me. I just
- 9:56Speaker 3: I thought it was so hysterical and just great time.
- 10:00Speaker 3: I hope they make a bunch of seasons of it.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I can't imagine. It's too crazy much to make, so
- 10:06Speaker 3: I think they will, but we'll find out. I guess.
- 10:08Speaker 2: I don't know. I really liked it. I'm glad you
- 10:10Speaker 2: liked it. That's awesome. It was real fun. How about you?
- 10:12Speaker 2: What have been stir reading? Well?
- 10:14Speaker 4: It was Father's Day, so I got to choose the
- 10:17Speaker 4: movie this last week. Yeah, and we watched one that
- 10:20Speaker 4: I loved when it came out but always wanted to
- 10:22Speaker 4: watch it with the whole family. It was the twenty
- 10:26Speaker 4: twenty one animated family adventure flick The Mitchells Versus the Machine.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Oh, because the kids hadn't seen that yet.
- 10:34Speaker 5: They had seen it, like Lydia had seen it at
- 10:38Speaker 5: a birthday party, and I think Charlie saw it one time,
- 10:41Speaker 5: but time.
- 10:42Speaker 4: May it's the focus and I'm just like, I wanted
- 10:46Speaker 4: all of us to watch it. This movie is so funny.
- 10:50Speaker 4: It's like, honestly one of my favorite animated movies.
- 10:54Speaker 5: Maybe ever, I think we watched Larry so we must have.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Still been in pandemic e times.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Then for sure, because.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I think that's when I watched it as well, and
- 11:03Speaker 3: because you had seen it, I think, but yeah, so.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Fun Did they like it so funny?
- 11:07Speaker 4: When they they liked it? I mean they had already
- 11:11Speaker 4: liked it. Lydia didn't love it when she saw it.
- 11:13Speaker 4: She saw it like kind of when it came out
- 11:15Speaker 4: at her first sleepover, and I don't think that.
- 11:18Speaker 2: She loved it.
- 11:18Speaker 4: I think the kind of like it's all about, you know,
- 11:22Speaker 4: robots trying to destroy the world, and I think that
- 11:24Speaker 4: kind of got.
- 11:25Speaker 5: To her out in her head.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Plus like so many other things are happening at that point,
- 11:29Speaker 3: you know.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Like she didn't get to like focus in on it.
- 11:32Speaker 5: Right, And so you know, five years later, Yeah, she's
- 11:37Speaker 5: a lot older.
- 11:37Speaker 2: And wow, it's fun.
- 11:39Speaker 5: Voiced by Abby Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Olivia Coleman,
- 11:44Speaker 5: and a bunch of other folks that you'd recognize, and yeah,
- 11:49Speaker 5: it's it's just really really funny.
- 11:51Speaker 4: It's about a family doing a road trip before the
- 11:53Speaker 4: oldest daughter goes to college. And while they're on that
- 11:58Speaker 4: road trip, aliens robots try and take over the world
- 12:01Speaker 4: and they're the only people that can save it.
- 12:03Speaker 3: They be crazy, it happens.
- 12:05Speaker 2: It happens so much fun.
- 12:06Speaker 5: That's really cool, man.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I love that, love it. And it was like a
- 12:09Speaker 2: good Father's Day movie.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, because it's all about their daughter relationship. So yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 5: yeah it worked out.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Also, your daughter has her brain, has been conscious enough
- 12:21Speaker 3: to remember a movie she watched five years ago, and
- 12:24Speaker 3: that kind of.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Blows my mind. And that nuts, Like, I.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Mean, I know that that's how math works, but that
- 12:29Speaker 3: seems I don't know how it feels to you, but
- 12:32Speaker 3: that seems weird to me.
- 12:33Speaker 5: It's insane. She has to be ten in less than
- 12:36Speaker 5: a week.
- 12:36Speaker 3: It's crazy and also the best, you know, all the things.
- 12:40Speaker 3: But yeah, that's wild, wild, Well, should we do a
- 12:44Speaker 3: few plug rouns.
- 12:45Speaker 2: It's plugging it nice.
- 12:46Speaker 3: You guys can business as always on the Tudor Machine,

- 13:38Speaker 3: Yeah, some good.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Ones in there, some.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Really fun, some really good ones.
- 13:43Speaker 5: I thought I had come up with a few, like
- 13:45Speaker 5: outside the box ones, and you can find everything on
- 13:48Speaker 5: the internet.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I saw didn't so that cool about it.
- 13:51Speaker 5: I saw some that I thought of one list.
- 13:53Speaker 4: And I was like, oh, well all right, well yeah,
- 13:56Speaker 4: so I don't have any that you probably haven't seen
- 13:58Speaker 4: on here.
- 13:59Speaker 3: But same same I think, but still fun.
- 14:02Speaker 2: We'll be fun either way.
- 14:05Speaker 5: And yeah, we're here today to talk about.
- 14:07Speaker 3: A great film from nineteen ninety one as well. Right, Yeah, ninety.
- 14:12Speaker 5: One thirty fifth anniversary.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Fifth anniversary. I'm sure we'll talk about this, but kind
- 14:18Speaker 3: of a pillar film, I think for people.
- 14:20Speaker 5: Of our age, for sure.
- 14:23Speaker 3: We're here to talk a little terminator to Judgment Day,
- 14:26Speaker 3: Judgment D I'm very excited, and we had to get
- 14:30Speaker 3: a man who is I would say, at least a
- 14:34Speaker 3: quarter robot and three quarters human. You know, absolutely fair
- 14:39Speaker 3: to say. I think it's very But we love him
- 14:41Speaker 3: so much. You guys know him, you love him. Let's
- 14:43Speaker 3: say hi to heat Box.
- 14:46Speaker 2: What's up?
- 14:47Speaker 3: Box?
- 14:47Speaker 5: Hey? Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful?
- 14:54Speaker 3: How are you energy?
- 14:56Speaker 2: I am good?
- 14:57Speaker 5: How are you so much better?
- 15:00Speaker 1: Here?
- 15:00Speaker 2: Now? This is my third time on the show.
- 15:04Speaker 5: It's been a while since the last time.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I know.
- 15:07Speaker 3: A new house, yes, your new abode, for sure.
- 15:14Speaker 4: I remember you did Matrix with us. I feel like
- 15:16Speaker 4: you did a movie game Night with us too, didn't you?
- 15:19Speaker 2: And he was a live one? Yeah?
- 15:23Speaker 4: Yeah, were you do? You and Max were both on
- 15:27Speaker 4: for one. Was that the Matrix like way back in
- 15:29Speaker 4: your basement?
- 15:30Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 15:33Speaker 2: I don't know. It might have been notting Hill.
- 15:36Speaker 4: I think it was noddinghe Benny brought that up.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I told him he'd clearly been talking to me before.
- 15:45Speaker 2: He's like all this stuff about Aaron.
- 15:47Speaker 4: I know this, So for all of you listening, Box
- 15:52Speaker 4: told us that he loved Nodding Hill so much and
- 15:55Speaker 4: he was very excited to be on for that episode.
- 15:58Speaker 4: So we were all ready for him to be.
- 16:01Speaker 3: And then we both were like, weird, that's not a movie.
- 16:04Speaker 4: I want to I just remember the email and he
- 16:06Speaker 4: was like, I could talk about this for five hours.
- 16:10Speaker 5: I'm so excited. I was like, whoa, He's like ready,
- 16:15Speaker 5: and then Yeah, was like, I'm.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Pretty sure he has never seen it. He was saying
- 16:21Speaker 4: it would be funny to mess with this, and.
- 16:24Speaker 3: I said, remember if you told me that, or if
- 16:26Speaker 3: I just like to put two and two together. I
- 16:28Speaker 3: can't remember I told you.
- 16:30Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure I pooped it out and made it
- 16:34Speaker 2: bad so funny.
- 16:37Speaker 4: I was like, oh god, that is so funny.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I hate him.
- 16:45Speaker 5: It would have been so funny.
- 16:47Speaker 3: We never would have called you out.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I think I just don't think I would.
- 16:52Speaker 3: You were like, and then the alien part that was strange.
- 16:55Speaker 2: You know, maybe to go listen to it a second
- 16:58Speaker 2: time and just know how full of crap I am
- 17:00Speaker 2: the entire time, just listen. It's a great idea.
- 17:06Speaker 5: I didn't really ask you.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I should have.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Have you seen the movie we're going to talk about today?
- 17:11Speaker 5: Are you just messing with.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I watched it like once when I was like fourteen, Okay,
- 17:17Speaker 2: I watch it yesterday.
- 17:19Speaker 3: Okay, nice, I love it, love it which was a blast.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Still a super fun movie to watch, super fun. Yeah. Yeah.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Did you guys watch it recently? Two for this?
- 17:30Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, we we rewatch everything right before, at
- 17:34Speaker 5: least once sometimes once. We don't go as crazy as
- 17:38Speaker 5: a Benny and Gage are always like we watched it.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Three times for like three weeks.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Yeah, they're crazy. He just put it on in the background. Yeah.
- 17:46Speaker 2: They also one a month or whatever. They just want
- 17:49Speaker 2: to osmosis. I yeah.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I think they're like working with it on and stuff too,
- 17:56Speaker 3: for sure. But they're definitely watching it because I know
- 17:58Speaker 3: those movies are good.
- 18:01Speaker 2: They know I'm good, good good. They're actors. Mans uh.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Speaking of that live show, are you going to be
- 18:09Speaker 5: at the.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Oregon Getaway again?
- 18:10Speaker 3: I don't even remember if that's a thing.
- 18:12Speaker 2: I don't think i've heard a thing about it yet.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Oh okay, great, we don't know. I think I'm going
- 18:18Speaker 3: to be there, but all so far, I'm and more
- 18:21Speaker 3: in all of Tim Faust's, all of his announcements.
- 18:28Speaker 2: I texted him the other day.
- 18:29Speaker 3: I was like, thank you for using my official name
- 18:31Speaker 3: and more and more.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Friends.
- 18:36Speaker 3: That's good, that's really good, just to be a turned
- 18:39Speaker 3: And then I was like, I am not even a
- 18:41Speaker 3: little serious. Please don't ever think and he was like
- 18:43Speaker 3: I didn't.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Amazing. Sometimes I go on the road and have somebody
- 18:48Speaker 2: come with me and it's built as heat box and friends. Yeah,
- 18:51Speaker 2: but sometimes just one friend. So they got man friends. Hi,
- 18:54Speaker 2: I'm and friends.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Hello, Hello Anderson friends.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Nice to meet you.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Uh Well. To find out where heapbox will be, you
- 19:03Speaker 3: can go to heapoxllc dot com.
- 19:08Speaker 2: You can be all over the place.
- 19:09Speaker 3: I may be in a town you're in when you're
- 19:12Speaker 3: doing shows over the fourth of July, but I've said
- 19:14Speaker 3: too much. Where are you going for the fourth you're doing?
- 19:19Speaker 2: And the fourth?
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yea, who's doing that with you?
- 19:23Speaker 2: Alex Steele?
- 19:26Speaker 3: If I'm there, I'm definitely coming at least to hang out.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Which so that's that's like a mile away from my
- 19:32Speaker 3: brother's house.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Detroit Rapids, Grand rap I can go to my own
- 19:37Speaker 2: website right now.
- 19:38Speaker 5: I thought you were saying Park Rapids.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I was like, that faris Grand Rapids. That's right? Nice, Yep,
- 19:49Speaker 2: you were dis guys. See if I can pick out
- 19:51Speaker 2: who you are and that'd be fun.
- 19:53Speaker 3: That'd be fun. Just say nothing and stare at you.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Who's that Asian? Your pictures of you on stage? I
- 20:02Speaker 2: know that's stare, I stare.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Ge'd smell me j JK. Yeah, which did the Blues
- 20:12Speaker 3: Brothers And it was so great.
- 20:14Speaker 2: That was really fun. It was work. We talked about
- 20:16Speaker 2: it up top too. But yeah, should we get it?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Should we start talking about this movie?
- 20:21Speaker 5: I think we should.
- 20:22Speaker 3: All right, Robi, you want to.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Get it started with just a rough synopsis?
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yes.
- 20:27Speaker 5: In nineteen ninety five, the rogue AI sky Net sends
- 20:32Speaker 5: a liquid metal T one thousand to the past to
- 20:35Speaker 5: assassinate a young John Connor. To counter this, the Human
- 20:39Speaker 5: Resistance reprograms an older T eight hundred to protect John.
- 20:45Speaker 5: Together with his mother Sarah, they fight to destroy Cyberdyne
- 20:49Speaker 5: systems and avert the nuclear apocalypse known as Judgment Day.
- 20:58Speaker 5: So close to being good and then I.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Had a Copple lips not at all all? Dang it.
- 21:04Speaker 2: You could have said it worse.
- 21:06Speaker 3: I could have had to pluck it out.
- 21:07Speaker 2: You said the other way, So that's pluck it anyway.
- 21:13Speaker 5: It Robert happens, have mouth on this guy.
- 21:20Speaker 3: My goodness, that was great. You guys are great. You're
- 21:25Speaker 3: doing good work. Let's go to Rotten to Bottles and
- 21:27Speaker 3: hear what they have to say.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Uh.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Critics said this coming in at ninety percent very solid.
- 21:34Speaker 3: Chefs out. Audience members though, have it at ninety five percent.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Bro, it's so funny because we've been doing all of
- 21:41Speaker 4: these just like R rated comedies that get like thirty percent.
- 21:47Speaker 5: It's weird. It's weird good in these yes, well.
- 21:50Speaker 2: From everybody really.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Yeah. We had a run at the beginning of this
- 21:54Speaker 3: year where I don't think we got above forty percent
- 21:56Speaker 3: from anybody.
- 21:57Speaker 5: And it was wild, glorious.
- 21:59Speaker 2: But it's kind of weird all of them. Yeah, but
- 22:02Speaker 2: ninety five, that's thwety five.
- 22:04Speaker 3: It's crazy, nuts, belab Let's let's get into what we think.
- 22:09Speaker 2: It's time for our hot take.
- 22:11Speaker 5: Hot take out.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Oh that's a hot take.
- 22:15Speaker 5: That's a hot take myself with hot metal. Ah yeah, steals.
- 22:22Speaker 2: The famous nuclear burning.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I'll go first, I was saying at the top box
- 22:31Speaker 3: you weren't here yet for this one. But I feel
- 22:35Speaker 3: like this is like a Pillar movie.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Wow, what is happening right now?
- 22:39Speaker 5: Oh?
- 22:40Speaker 2: This is good.
- 22:40Speaker 3: You're doing this with the incredible.
- 22:42Speaker 2: This is incredible.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Oh dot com and check out our live feed video.
- 22:52Speaker 2: He's using the robots against us right now.
- 22:54Speaker 5: That's incredible. Oh so you have one of those standing
- 22:57Speaker 5: desks that what's happening?
- 23:01Speaker 2: Is it?
- 23:01Speaker 3: Really elegant answer? So that was so much happened.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I loved that.
- 23:07Speaker 5: Love a visual gig.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Hey, it's the best. Give these guys some Patreon money.
- 23:12Speaker 2: I can see my funny stuff matter. Yes, do it.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Oh, I was saying, I think this feels like a
- 23:19Speaker 3: Pillar movie for people our age, Like, I feel like
- 23:24Speaker 3: everyone loved this movie. I guess critics and audience members
- 23:27Speaker 3: ninety five percent agree with that. But this just feels
- 23:30Speaker 3: like such a I don't know, it was such a
- 23:33Speaker 3: moment in time when this movie came out, and then
- 23:36Speaker 3: even after, because I'm sure I didn't see it in
- 23:37Speaker 3: ninety one, but I saw.
- 23:39Speaker 2: It probably shortly thereafter.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Yeah, i'd been probably.
- 23:42Speaker 2: A tiny bit young.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Did you see that in ninety one?
- 23:46Speaker 5: I don't remember. I mean I saw it when I
- 23:47Speaker 5: was too young for sure.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, it is true.
- 23:51Speaker 3: That is true. But yes, I love this movie. I've
- 23:55Speaker 3: always loved this movie. I agree with you Box like
- 23:58Speaker 3: super fun on the rewatch holds up really well. The
- 24:01Speaker 3: CGI still looks really good, which I'm shocked by love with.
- 24:07Speaker 3: The only caveats to that are like the terrible cutaways
- 24:11Speaker 3: of the obvious stunt people that we see in some
- 24:13Speaker 3: of the chases and things like that, which is a
- 24:15Speaker 3: very nineties, you know, eighties and nineties thing, but it
- 24:19Speaker 3: kind of just adds to the charm now for me
- 24:21Speaker 3: honestly at this point.
- 24:22Speaker 5: But like the CGI CGI stuff is.
- 24:25Speaker 3: All really great. I don't know, it's wonderful, and I
- 24:29Speaker 3: feel like this movie just threads the needle between like
- 24:33Speaker 3: actual steaks and a compelling story of like a dystopian future,
- 24:37Speaker 3: but also still being very campy and like almost superheroe,
- 24:41Speaker 3: you know, like where you're not ever too worried about
- 24:45Speaker 3: all the people and you still get the silly lines
- 24:47Speaker 3: and stuff. I just think they walk that line really well.
- 24:50Speaker 3: I think it's super interesting that it's one of the
- 24:54Speaker 3: few movies I can think of where the sequel is
- 24:58Speaker 3: more revered than the original, right I think A thousand
- 25:02Speaker 3: maybe the only one, like, because I've seen Terminator one
- 25:05Speaker 3: and it's fine, but it's not this, you know, But yeah,
- 25:10Speaker 3: I just I will say it is longer than I
- 25:13Speaker 3: recall without seeing T one thousand, which was kind of interesting,
- 25:17Speaker 3: like there was that whole middle section. I will say
- 25:20Speaker 3: I think I watched an extended cut, because I do
- 25:22Speaker 3: think it was extra long this time. Things didn't like
- 25:25Speaker 3: I do sometimes unfortunately without even knowing. And it's also
- 25:32Speaker 3: probably best to ignore the timeline implications because that I
- 25:35Speaker 3: don't I don't think holds up great to scrutiny the
- 25:38Speaker 3: whole the work.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, right right, just sort of in there.
- 25:45Speaker 3: So my tep it take first is I was very
- 25:47Speaker 3: surprised and happy to see that Dyson's kiddo is for
- 25:50Speaker 3: some reason wearing a Minnesota Twins hat.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Wasn't that great.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I didn't understand why that happened the old Am.
- 25:57Speaker 5: I didn't know that the old Am and I loved it.
- 26:00Speaker 3: And maybe it was they had just won the title,
- 26:01Speaker 3: so maybe it was that was happening during I don't know, Yeah, I.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Don't know, championship in Minnesota.
- 26:11Speaker 3: My hot take is, uh, and this is kind of weird,
- 26:15Speaker 3: but like so, Arnold obviously is super jacked, but he
- 26:19Speaker 3: also looks more like a regular jacked dude in this
- 26:23Speaker 3: than some of the super steroid guys that we have
- 26:26Speaker 3: right now in movies. And I don't know if that's
- 26:29Speaker 3: a crazy take or not, but I was surprised in
- 26:31Speaker 3: this one. I was like, Oh, he's like a like
- 26:34Speaker 3: a huge superjacked guy, but not like I don't know,
- 26:38Speaker 3: I'm worried about, you know, the seams of his pants
- 26:40Speaker 3: when he goes and does any real life thing, or
- 26:43Speaker 3: you know, something like that.
- 26:44Speaker 2: So I thought that was interesting.
- 26:46Speaker 3: And my hottest take is that SNL should have or
- 26:51Speaker 3: should now do a sketch when Steve Martin is hosting
- 26:55Speaker 3: next and do a Terminator two thing about about Arnold
- 27:01Speaker 3: and just keep yelling he hates knees. Get away from
- 27:03Speaker 3: the knees because he shoots so many people's knees in this.
- 27:06Speaker 3: He hates those knees, hates these knees.
- 27:10Speaker 2: That's my hottest take.
- 27:12Speaker 5: That's a hot take. It's a great movie.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Watch Out, o, all right, we watch Out. Way to
- 27:19Speaker 3: sell it for your friend, guys, appreciate it.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Way to go, buddy.
- 27:22Speaker 3: He hates these knees hates thank you.
- 27:26Speaker 5: Yeah, this movie's badass, always has been.
- 27:29Speaker 4: It's number twenty eight on the IMDb Top two fifty.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Wow.
- 27:34Speaker 4: He was nominated for six Oscars at won four for Makeup, Sound,
- 27:38Speaker 4: sound Effects.
- 27:39Speaker 5: And Visual Effects.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Agrees a lot of sense yep.
- 27:43Speaker 5: Written and directed by James Cameron.
- 27:45Speaker 4: He's responsible for the first Terminator that really got him
- 27:49Speaker 4: on the map, and then he's gone on to make
- 27:52Speaker 4: a good jillion dollars with this franchise, Titanic and the
- 27:56Speaker 4: Avatar films. Like we know he's done. Okay, he's done good,
- 27:59Speaker 4: He's uh. I also talked about the c G I.
- 28:02Speaker 4: I loved that the T.
- 28:04Speaker 5: One thousand is one of the coolest villains of all time.
- 28:07Speaker 3: So great, it might be cool, honestly, Yeah, he's really
- 28:12Speaker 3: It's incredible.
- 28:14Speaker 4: The score from Brad Finelle is iconic. With that percussive hell,
- 28:21Speaker 4: that's awesome. I so love that.
- 28:23Speaker 2: There's hardly any music in it at all.
- 28:25Speaker 5: I know, but just that percussive thing is just so effective.
- 28:30Speaker 5: But you do get some there's.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Like distant clanging metal. Yeah, Like that's a little pad
- 28:37Speaker 2: of sense. Like yeah. Other than that, like, yeah, not
- 28:40Speaker 2: a hardly anything.
- 28:41Speaker 3: That clang of metal too, I found out was a guy.
- 28:45Speaker 3: It was just his cast iron pan that he uses,
- 28:48Speaker 3: like totally. It was an or anything. It was like
- 28:51Speaker 3: you sa ta yeah somewhere.
- 28:55Speaker 5: I love that.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 28:58Speaker 5: But the plot was super fun.
- 28:59Speaker 4: We got people tending to be robots, we got time travel,
- 29:02Speaker 4: we got helicopter chases, liquid nitrogen crashes, so many just
- 29:07Speaker 4: visually incredible things.
- 29:09Speaker 5: I just thought it was a ton of fun. Hot take.
- 29:14Speaker 4: The dream sequence of like the the atom bomb. The
- 29:20Speaker 4: nuclear bomb is one of the most terrifying things. It
- 29:23Speaker 4: freaked me out as a kid. And there's so many
- 29:27Speaker 4: crazy deaths in this but that one really messed with me.
- 29:30Speaker 4: And even just the visuals in the beginning with the
- 29:34Speaker 4: playground equipment just on fire scared me.
- 29:39Speaker 5: That's horrible. It's way more horrible than just seeing this guy,
- 29:44Speaker 5: you know, stab people in the eye.
- 29:46Speaker 2: For whatever reason.
- 29:47Speaker 5: It just really got into my brain.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Yeah, very similar Fiery.
- 29:58Speaker 2: It's smart though, how they do it, like they don't
- 30:01Speaker 2: show all the territal stuff. It's just you know, clearly
- 30:06Speaker 2: and you know, everything's all soot and nobody's there and
- 30:09Speaker 2: it's all messed up. Yeah, you know, but I always
- 30:13Speaker 2: think that's so interesting how they how they do tricksy
- 30:16Speaker 2: little stuff like that. You know, they hold up the
- 30:18Speaker 2: gun and then you hear a sound but you don't
- 30:20Speaker 2: see whatever. And then a guy falls down you sort
- 30:23Speaker 2: of see his body but not really. I always like
- 30:26Speaker 2: that kind of interesting stuff. Yeah, I think that's great.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Love that hot take. What do you think about Uh?
- 30:34Speaker 2: I really like this movie a lot. I think I
- 30:37Speaker 2: don't think I'd ever really seen the whole thing top
- 30:39Speaker 2: to bottom before. It was like on TV and you're like,
- 30:41Speaker 2: oh yeah, and then you watch the last half. I
- 30:43Speaker 2: got seen the last half like a hundred times, right,
- 30:46Speaker 2: I never see it? And uh, like the Matrix, I
- 30:51Speaker 2: think this movie is super smart and genius because you
- 30:55Speaker 2: can be kind of a dumb dumb and really like
- 30:57Speaker 2: and there's explosions and robots and huge guns and badass
- 31:01Speaker 2: stuff are bad butt stuff and then.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Nah, you's say, ass that's fine, uh ass ass ass.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Oh okay, well maybe we don't have to celebrate it,
- 31:11Speaker 3: we don't have to really go for it, but yeah, okay,
- 31:14Speaker 3: it's a lot of clucking about that.
- 31:17Speaker 2: And then but all the way into being a you know,
- 31:20Speaker 2: a quote unquote smarto you can get into how they're
- 31:23Speaker 2: making AI and they took technology from the future and
- 31:26Speaker 2: then they used it in the past, and then it
- 31:29Speaker 2: how does that even work? You know? Is it recursor
- 31:31Speaker 2: like you're saying time travel is But yeah, all this
- 31:35Speaker 2: kind of cool technology and computers and all sorts of
- 31:37Speaker 2: nerd stuff, so you can you can come out of
- 31:39Speaker 2: all these levels and walk away thinking it was rad,
- 31:43Speaker 2: which is cool. My hot take is that you know
- 31:48Speaker 2: what you don't see in movies ever? Really, but is
- 31:51Speaker 2: in this movie a couple of times it's just a
- 31:53Speaker 2: hard chop cut to another scene where it's like and
- 31:58Speaker 2: then like then if the.
- 31:59Speaker 5: Truck, Oh yeah, that's exactly what it was.
- 32:03Speaker 2: A couple a couple of big metal piece pieces. Go, yeah,
- 32:07Speaker 2: you never see that in.
- 32:08Speaker 4: A movie, and uh yeah it was the truck grill
- 32:12Speaker 4: And that was kind of interesting.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I love all that, uh, all those little editing
- 32:17Speaker 2: tricks and he he sort of what I was watching it.
- 32:21Speaker 2: I started started to think that it was like it's
- 32:23Speaker 2: like a comic book, like your eyes already are always
- 32:27Speaker 2: told exactly where to look, Like we're looking at the
- 32:29Speaker 2: truck and then it goes down to the wheel and
- 32:31Speaker 2: then it goes to the electricity and then now we
- 32:34Speaker 2: go to like his Arnold's foot and then it zooms
- 32:36Speaker 2: out like it's all very like comic book. There's these
- 32:39Speaker 2: iconic poses you could like pause on so many frames
- 32:42Speaker 2: and it would be like you should just draw that
- 32:44Speaker 2: in a comic for this panel and then go to
- 32:46Speaker 2: the next panel. Nice, And yeah, I think that's really cool.
- 32:52Speaker 2: And uh, I don't know if I have any more
- 32:53Speaker 2: hot takes. You know, there's a lot of twins in
- 32:55Speaker 2: this to make like multiple people. I saw. I saw that.
- 33:00Speaker 4: I found out that in the trivia that Linda Hamilton
- 33:02Speaker 4: is an identical twin.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Was a nurse and not an actor, but they just
- 33:06Speaker 2: had her get the same haircut.
- 33:08Speaker 3: Fun.
- 33:09Speaker 2: And the guy that's the little pudgy cop that he
- 33:11Speaker 2: kills with the eyeball poke there, he's a twins twin.
- 33:16Speaker 3: I didn't realize that I missed that one.
- 33:17Speaker 2: That's fun that was so one twin drug his dead
- 33:21Speaker 2: twin brother into a closet.
- 33:29Speaker 4: Well, Arnold definitely doesn't have a twin, because that stunt
- 33:32Speaker 4: guy didn't and he does.
- 33:34Speaker 2: It's Danny DeVito like when they're doing the Arnold open
- 33:42Speaker 2: his head thing and he's in the mirror, like that's
- 33:44Speaker 2: him in the mirror and there's no mirror, and then
- 33:46Speaker 2: there's like a fake Arnold in the back of his
- 33:48Speaker 2: head or whatever, and there's two Linda Hamilton's ones. They're
- 33:51Speaker 2: both mimicking each other's exactly. That's wild, super cool, real stuffing.
- 33:58Speaker 5: Before yesterday.
- 33:59Speaker 2: That's awesome, And you gotta remember this is what is this,
- 34:03Speaker 2: nineteen ninety one, this company. Yeah, like these effects and
- 34:06Speaker 2: sound effects are insane crazy for that time, especially the
- 34:11Speaker 2: T one thousand, Like I.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Can't get over how good the T one thousand still looks.
- 34:15Speaker 2: It's crazy. And the sound effects of like yeah sounds
- 34:22Speaker 2: and he can't get the gun through the gate, like
- 34:24Speaker 2: it's just so cool. Yeah, so awesome. I love it.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Crazy take hot.
- 34:31Speaker 5: Well, why don't we go and talk about our favorite
- 34:34Speaker 5: acting performance, and let's choose the dude the dude.
- 34:39Speaker 2: I'm the dude.
- 34:41Speaker 3: So that's what you call me, you know that, or
- 34:45Speaker 3: his dude or duder or you know, el dude, a
- 34:49Speaker 3: reno if you're not into the whole brevity.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Thing, Yeah, that's CuO.
- 34:56Speaker 3: So you got for your dude, Uh, you go first,
- 34:58Speaker 3: because I have to look up this guy's name please, Okay.
- 35:03Speaker 5: Sure I can go first.
- 35:04Speaker 4: Yeah, what I think about with this movie is the
- 35:07Speaker 4: T one thousand. I'm gonna take Robert Patrick as the
- 35:10Speaker 4: T one thousand. He's just such a robotic man and
- 35:15Speaker 4: he just looks like he has no feeling whatsoever. He
- 35:18Speaker 4: looks like everything is effortless. He can just run and
- 35:22Speaker 4: it doesn't look like he's breathing.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Uh. He had that trivia too, that he like trained
- 35:28Speaker 3: for a long time about how to run with just
- 35:30Speaker 3: breathing through his nose and stuff, and he got really
- 35:33Speaker 3: good at it.
- 35:33Speaker 2: It's crazy. And he trained how to shoot a gun
- 35:35Speaker 2: without blinking, like he's just like, oh, I didn't see him.
- 35:39Speaker 2: That's cool, that's crazy. If you've ever shot a gun,
- 35:42Speaker 2: that sounds really really hard to do.
- 35:44Speaker 3: That sounds reasable.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Actually, yeah, I just saw a thing where Bill Hayter
- 35:48Speaker 4: was saying he was supposed to be in a movie
- 35:50Speaker 4: where every time that he was going to shoot the gun,
- 35:54Speaker 4: he'd be like really badass, and then he'd be.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Like and then.
- 36:02Speaker 5: They're like, we can't use any of it, we can't
- 36:04Speaker 5: use it. But yeah, he would look away and scream
- 36:08Speaker 5: every time Robert Patrick didn't do any of that.
- 36:15Speaker 3: That's great, that's at inspired.
- 36:18Speaker 2: I like that.
- 36:19Speaker 5: Thank you box. Who are you looking up?
- 36:22Speaker 2: I'm looking up. Joe Morton. He plays the the brilliant
- 36:25Speaker 2: scientist Miles. He does an awesome job that could have
- 36:31Speaker 2: been like a forgetful role, I feel like, but especially
- 36:35Speaker 2: especially his death scene is like one of the most
- 36:37Speaker 2: memorable death scenes all time.
- 36:40Speaker 5: That always messed with me. Dude, that weird breeding.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Apparently he had been in a car accident in real
- 36:45Speaker 2: life and one of his lungs collapsed, and so he
- 36:49Speaker 2: brought that to the set and he was like, you know,
- 36:51Speaker 2: I have an interesting idea of how I could die,
- 36:53Speaker 2: and that's what happened to me, And so they did that.
- 36:57Speaker 2: And yeah, he's holding the weight over the button of like.
- 37:00Speaker 3: So that's cool.
- 37:00Speaker 5: I can't hold it much.
- 37:01Speaker 3: And it's part of his uh, it's part of this
- 37:04Speaker 3: quantum computer that he'd been working on. I just waste
- 37:08Speaker 3: one because it's the Yeah, it's the part of the
- 37:10Speaker 3: two squares or the cubes things that I hadn't noticed
- 37:14Speaker 3: that this one at least I think that's.
- 37:16Speaker 2: It looks like it.
- 37:17Speaker 3: So yeah, I.
- 37:19Speaker 5: Thought that was a cool extra touch.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he does a great deal. I love also when uh,
- 37:24Speaker 2: when he learns that what he is about to accomplish
- 37:27Speaker 2: is going to kill almost everybody, and then Sarah kind
- 37:30Speaker 2: of goes, he took it pretty well, and he goes,
- 37:32Speaker 2: I feel like throw.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Up pretty well. I mean, he did okay for himself.
- 37:37Speaker 3: After he did this, he made the vacuums and that
- 37:40Speaker 3: was good. Those seem to be you know, right, we
- 37:47Speaker 3: got we got one right, Yes, love it, love it.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Those are great picks.
- 37:53Speaker 2: Uh.
- 37:54Speaker 3: I also went well, not off the board, but I
- 37:58Speaker 3: picked Linda Hamilton for this one.
- 38:01Speaker 2: She's crazy in this.
- 38:02Speaker 5: Bro She plays crazy so well in this movie.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's such.
- 38:07Speaker 3: She does such a good job because it is grounded.
- 38:09Speaker 3: She's I thought it was really fun in this and
- 38:12Speaker 3: I probably just never thought about it this way, you know,
- 38:14Speaker 3: as a kid or whatever. But her like trying to
- 38:20Speaker 3: show that she is better by lying about it, you
- 38:24Speaker 3: know what I mean, and being like, no, that never happened.
- 38:26Speaker 3: I was just having a moment and whatever. Even though
- 38:29Speaker 3: she you know, with every fib river being, she believes
- 38:32Speaker 3: that I just thought was really great and I just
- 38:36Speaker 3: I don't know, I love her in this. She's just
- 38:38Speaker 3: a total badass. Yeah, she's really cool.
- 38:42Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 38:42Speaker 3: I love her. I also love that a movie from
- 38:44Speaker 3: nineteen ninety one didn't try to make her like a
- 38:46Speaker 3: sex object, which is pretty cool and not not always
- 38:50Speaker 3: aw that work, you know. I mean, we have the
- 38:52Speaker 3: weird institutional guard.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Guy linked her face.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so. I thought about this and I
- 39:00Speaker 3: was like, why did they do that? We didn't need
- 39:02Speaker 3: to do that. And I was like, it's just so
- 39:03Speaker 3: she can kill him and it's not a big deal.
- 39:06Speaker 3: You know, we're like good.
- 39:09Speaker 2: And that guy does a great job of making me
- 39:11Speaker 2: want her to kill him.
- 39:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he's terrible.
- 39:14Speaker 5: Those bottle cap glasses.
- 39:17Speaker 2: It sucks.
- 39:18Speaker 5: Yeah, clicking faces, Yeah, just what are we doing? Gross?
- 39:22Speaker 2: When I was a kid, I thought I thought she
- 39:23Speaker 2: was I thought Linda Hamilton was like mean and like callous,
- 39:28Speaker 2: which she is. You know, when you're an adult now
- 39:30Speaker 2: you're like, oh, she's had to like sacrifice her whole life.
- 39:34Speaker 2: She's thrown her whole life into this one thing. And
- 39:38Speaker 2: of course nobody believes her, and of course she's no
- 39:41Speaker 2: to prove it, and of course she's and she's trying
- 39:44Speaker 2: to raise the sun to be a great warrior, and
- 39:46Speaker 2: she's so callous with him and everything, and it's.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Like crazy PTSD too from you know, like things trying
- 39:52Speaker 3: to yeah, all the stuff.
- 39:54Speaker 2: So yeah, it says an adult. It's like, hey, she's
- 39:57Speaker 2: she's doing a pretty good job considering considering.
- 40:00Speaker 3: But yeah, I just I thought she was. I just
- 40:03Speaker 3: love seeing her and this this Whorri watch.
- 40:05Speaker 2: I was just so into it. So I had to
- 40:06Speaker 2: pick her for my dude. I love it.
- 40:08Speaker 5: We all picked different dudes. That's fun. Well, let's keep
- 40:12Speaker 5: it going.
- 40:12Speaker 4: Let's talk about our favorite supporting characters, and let's pick the.
- 40:16Speaker 2: Who for this one. Bocks Man, I think I gotta
- 40:24Speaker 2: go Earl Bowen. He is the head of the psych word.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I hate that guy so much.
- 40:33Speaker 2: And like the Perfect There's a lot of these characters
- 40:36Speaker 2: throughout movies. There's one in like Sounds of the Lambs,
- 40:38Speaker 2: and there's one in they feel so bad for these
- 40:43Speaker 2: patients and you know they're trying to help them. And
- 40:46Speaker 2: what we really do here is bring all these other
- 40:48Speaker 2: scientists around and stare through the window at them and
- 40:51Speaker 2: talk about them right in front of their face, and
- 40:53Speaker 2: treat them like Petri dish rabbits. And yeah, but they
- 40:57Speaker 2: were trying to help them is what we're really doing.
- 41:00Speaker 2: And he just plays just just a nurse ratchet. Yes,
- 41:06Speaker 2: stupid head he's And then when when the thing falls
- 41:09Speaker 2: out of his mouth when he sees the tent, it's
- 41:12Speaker 2: just goodn ask for more.
- 41:17Speaker 3: I do love these movies when we rewatch them and
- 41:19Speaker 3: I'm just like, I hate this guy, and then you're like,
- 41:23Speaker 3: I guess that means he's doing a great job. He's
- 41:25Speaker 3: doing that, right, that's amazing, amazing. But yeah, every once
- 41:30Speaker 3: in a while he's one of them.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I love that. Pick. That's fine, that's a great one.
- 41:35Speaker 5: I was gonna pick. Edward Furlong is John Connor, pretty
- 41:39Speaker 5: good kid actor.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Yeah, he did a good job for sure.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Apparently never been an actor before that.
- 41:44Speaker 5: That's this is his first thing ever, this is first.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Yeah, that's nuts. Right.
- 41:49Speaker 5: Also, do you guys read all the trivia about him?
- 41:52Speaker 2: I have so much trivia.
- 41:53Speaker 3: I don't feel bad about.
- 41:54Speaker 2: Sprinkling it in.
- 41:55Speaker 3: But they had to a d R like all of
- 41:58Speaker 3: his lines after the back because it's changed. Oh yeah,
- 42:01Speaker 3: basically bro, So they kept in like I think in
- 42:06Speaker 3: just one scene. I'll read that part later because I
- 42:08Speaker 3: don't remember the exact thing. But it's crazy.
- 42:11Speaker 4: And I saw one thing was they had started. He
- 42:14Speaker 4: just grew so much throughout the filming that he had
- 42:17Speaker 4: to actually like stand.
- 42:18Speaker 3: In a yeah that's right, especially with Hamilton.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Yeah that's right, that's yeah.
- 42:23Speaker 5: Yeah, stand in all great.
- 42:25Speaker 3: I mean he's like the right age.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Right, that probably makes sense.
- 42:28Speaker 3: I suppose so weird you just sprung up making movies
- 42:32Speaker 3: must be bizarre.
- 42:33Speaker 2: It's so weird.
- 42:34Speaker 3: It makes men get your boyhood movie and just being like, yeah,
- 42:37Speaker 3: you just never.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Know what's going to happen. And then that guy just great,
- 42:41Speaker 2: you know, not great.
- 42:42Speaker 4: But no, I thought he was really good. And some
- 42:46Speaker 4: of my favorite scenes are when he's like trying to talk.
- 42:49Speaker 5: To the terminator and be like, no, this is you
- 42:52Speaker 5: got to talk more like this, like it's I liked
- 42:55Speaker 5: all those scenes. I thought they were really fun.
- 42:56Speaker 3: It did make me think too, like you know, sort
- 42:59Speaker 3: of going into future land of this in the story
- 43:02Speaker 3: world of being like, oh, maybe that's why he's so
- 43:06Speaker 3: good at being a commander, because he he does distrust
- 43:09Speaker 3: machines because they're fighting for their lives, but also like
- 43:12Speaker 3: he befriended one, you know, in his way and sees like,
- 43:17Speaker 3: you know, knows how to leverage those relationships or whatever,
- 43:21Speaker 3: you know.
- 43:21Speaker 2: So, like, I thought that was kind of a cool thing.
- 43:23Speaker 2: I'd never thought about that before. Sure, But yeah, I
- 43:26Speaker 2: liked him. I thought you did a good job.
- 43:28Speaker 5: Yeah, well who did you pick? Uh?
- 43:31Speaker 3: Well, I guess I didn't have him first done here,
- 43:33Speaker 3: but Arnold. I guess we haven't even talked about him yet.
- 43:36Speaker 5: I've talked about Arnold. He's incredible.
- 43:40Speaker 3: So crazy to be able to go from a bad
- 43:43Speaker 3: guy to a good guy. I know that's happened before,
- 43:46Speaker 3: but that must have been like crazy to see back
- 43:49Speaker 3: in the you know, in the day when you saw
- 43:51Speaker 3: these as they were actually happening. He gets to be
- 43:54Speaker 3: like a little funny in parts in this, gets to
- 43:58Speaker 3: like turn off the chip, and then he gets to
- 44:00Speaker 3: have a little bit more personality, And I just think
- 44:03Speaker 3: he's I think he's so great in this. But he's
- 44:05Speaker 3: really good at being very robotic but also that like
- 44:08Speaker 3: cold logic, which can be very humorous at times too,
- 44:11Speaker 3: you know, of like I didn't kill them, I just
- 44:14Speaker 3: shot them all of their knees. Every knee in the
- 44:16Speaker 3: Tri State area was shot, you know. But yeah, I
- 44:20Speaker 3: just I really liked him. It's growing on you.
- 44:26Speaker 2: It's grown on you. And the famous lunch that him
- 44:29Speaker 2: and James Cameron had about Terminator because he originally wanted
- 44:33Speaker 2: to Arnold wanted to be the main good guy, uh sure,
- 44:37Speaker 2: and not be the terminator. But he kept talking about,
- 44:40Speaker 2: you know, whoever you hire, you got to make sure
- 44:43Speaker 2: that they're so you know, the way they look around
- 44:45Speaker 2: and the way they walk and the way they hold something,
- 44:48Speaker 2: you know, like smooth, very smooth. And eventually James was like, Arnold,
- 44:53Speaker 2: you're clearly passionate about acting like a robot and how
- 44:56Speaker 2: to do it. They why don't you do it? And
- 44:59Speaker 2: at first he was like, no, oh, no, you know,
- 45:01Speaker 2: there's only seventeen lines. I can't do that, and then
- 45:03Speaker 2: eventually he got talked into it.
- 45:06Speaker 5: And changed his whole life.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Yeah, good moves, that's really great. He does have.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Oh did you say good moves or good moves? Good
- 45:16Speaker 3: moves because he has some.
- 45:17Speaker 5: Moves too, like his chest is built and built built. Yeah.
- 45:26Speaker 3: Also, I had Robert Patrick here and I just said,
- 45:32Speaker 3: I just said, this is his his second best role
- 45:35Speaker 3: he's ever played. I think his first is Wayne's World,
- 45:37Speaker 3: of course, but Uprising.
- 45:41Speaker 2: The same thing.
- 45:43Speaker 3: But yeah, I just wanted to echo what you said, Rob,
- 45:45Speaker 3: like hit the way he ran and just commandeered the
- 45:50Speaker 3: you know, the scene when he was in it was
- 45:51Speaker 3: so fun. That was really great cool.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Try to make him threatening to Arnold because clearly he's
- 46:01Speaker 2: so much smaller physically. Yeah, and the first time that
- 46:04Speaker 2: they actually fight is in that little hallway and Arnold
- 46:08Speaker 2: pushes him up against the wall and he just takes it.
- 46:10Speaker 2: And then he pushes Arnold right up against the other
- 46:12Speaker 2: wall and you're.
- 46:13Speaker 3: Like, oh, okay, yeah, okay, these guys are evenly matched
- 46:18Speaker 3: or whatever is going down.
- 46:19Speaker 2: It's awesome. Yeah, that is really fun.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Also, so many people from Chuck in this because the
- 46:25Speaker 3: Mark Christopher Lawrence who is the burly attendant, the black
- 46:29Speaker 3: guy okay he's the store manager and Chuck, I don't
- 46:33Speaker 3: know if you remember that from but he's so much
- 46:36Speaker 3: younger obviously in this, but Hamilton is in that. There
- 46:40Speaker 3: was at least one other person, but it was fun
- 46:42Speaker 3: to see him. And then Dean Norris did you clock that?
- 46:46Speaker 3: That was Dean Norris did at the he's hanging the
- 46:49Speaker 3: breaking bad as the like swathen writer or total.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:56Speaker 4: Yeah, when when Joe Martin is about to die. He's yeah,
- 47:01Speaker 4: that's him.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I couldn't believe that was him. I thought that
- 47:04Speaker 3: was really fun.
- 47:07Speaker 5: Todd, Uh the step dad. His name is Xander Berkeley.
- 47:12Speaker 3: He's been in a bunch of things too, so many.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Yeah, he was good.
- 47:15Speaker 4: And then I saw there's an actress named Nikki Cox.
- 47:19Speaker 4: She is a kid that is answering one of the
- 47:22Speaker 4: t one thousands questions.
- 47:23Speaker 2: I clocked her. She's been in other stuff.
- 47:28Speaker 5: She's been another stuff. She was in the show Las Vegas.
- 47:32Speaker 5: She was in another show that was basically a married
- 47:35Speaker 5: with children rip off.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Fun unhappily ever after. Maybe I don't remember.
- 47:40Speaker 5: But but yeah, she was clearly just a kid that
- 47:44Speaker 5: was kind of fun.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah, she does for it's her adult self.
- 47:49Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, that's cool.
- 47:52Speaker 5: Well that's pretty much everybody. Why don't we Why don't
- 47:54Speaker 5: we move on?
- 47:55Speaker 4: Let's choose our favorite scene, and let's pick the dingusing.
- 48:01Speaker 2: So is quite simple, really ingus, dingus.
- 48:04Speaker 3: I can talk about my dingus all night long.
- 48:07Speaker 5: Quite simple, really quite simple.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Box, What do you got for your favorite scene?
- 48:14Speaker 5: Man?
- 48:14Speaker 2: Favorite scene? Hard in this one? I thought there's so
- 48:17Speaker 2: many classic scenes in this Uh, you know, I think
- 48:21Speaker 2: there's one from the extended cut, because I think I
- 48:23Speaker 2: watched the extended cut too, where he tries to tell
- 48:26Speaker 2: him what smiling is. Have you seen this one? Yeah?
- 48:30Speaker 3: I didn't watch this the regular cut, I think, but yeah,
- 48:33Speaker 3: that was really good.
- 48:34Speaker 2: You gotta smile, you gotta like charm, you have to
- 48:37Speaker 2: charm people. And he's like, I don't know what smiling is,
- 48:39Speaker 2: and so he's like, look over there, that guy. And
- 48:41Speaker 2: there's a guy on the phone and he's sat on
- 48:42Speaker 2: the phone and they zoom in on his mouth and
- 48:44Speaker 2: then it shows this machine looking at his muscles. And
- 48:47Speaker 2: then Arnold does this great take where he's like.
- 48:52Speaker 5: Just trying to be a robot smiling, does.
- 48:54Speaker 2: The worst worst smile.
- 48:56Speaker 3: He's like, oh, maybe not, let's move on whatever.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna.
- 49:01Speaker 5: Cut this really good that.
- 49:04Speaker 2: I liked it a lot.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Yeah, that was a fun scene. Though I did like that.
- 49:09Speaker 5: I didn't even see it. I've never seen it.
- 49:11Speaker 2: It doesn't exist.
- 49:12Speaker 3: You can rob I will, you will.
- 49:18Speaker 2: I love that. What other scenes did you have? Uh? So,
- 49:22Speaker 2: I guess it's not one scene. It's where both the
- 49:26Speaker 2: robots go back in time and they both show up,
- 49:28Speaker 2: but the audience has no idea which one is the
- 49:30Speaker 2: bad guy? Yet? I love that because you assume it's
- 49:34Speaker 2: gonna be on them from the first movie, right, you assume,
- 49:37Speaker 2: But then you know, are so theah the bar thing
- 49:42Speaker 2: goes down, and then you're like, okay, so he's for
- 49:44Speaker 2: sure the bad guy. Mmm mm hmmm. That's awesome. Yeah,
- 49:50Speaker 2: and the mo and the moment where they get her
- 49:52Speaker 2: out of the yes, and then and then what's his face?
- 49:58Speaker 2: Can finally see that she's actually been telling the truth
- 49:59Speaker 2: the whole time. There's now there's two robots in her
- 50:02Speaker 2: guns there, and it's insane in his guns. Yeah, Matty,
- 50:06Speaker 2: I love that one.
- 50:08Speaker 4: I had the escape from the mental It's to suit
- 50:10Speaker 4: pretty high up there as well, and we get to
- 50:13Speaker 4: see the two one thousand do his thing.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Dude, so fun.
- 50:16Speaker 2: He gets to do a bunch of stuff.
- 50:17Speaker 4: He gets to like come up from the floor and
- 50:19Speaker 4: then yea be the crazy finger knife thing.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Yeah, the floor one was so cool too.
- 50:26Speaker 4: The floor one's crazy, but yeah, that's way up there,
- 50:29Speaker 4: just that whole sequence.
- 50:31Speaker 2: Same.
- 50:32Speaker 4: One of the coolest things I feel like I've ever
- 50:34Speaker 4: seen is him reloading the shotgun with one hand while
- 50:37Speaker 4: riding a motorcycle.
- 50:39Speaker 3: So cool.
- 50:39Speaker 4: La river being chased by the semi. That whole sequence
- 50:43Speaker 4: is insane, dude.
- 50:44Speaker 2: The shot where it's John Connor on the bike and
- 50:47Speaker 2: behind him is just the semi going cool, hitting the
- 50:51Speaker 2: ground nuts while while a stunt guy's like looking at it. Yeah, insane, insanity.
- 50:57Speaker 5: Also hysterical that this might keep striving after that.
- 51:02Speaker 3: It's just like in that shot it is total right,
- 51:07Speaker 3: but it's so good.
- 51:09Speaker 2: I love it so so much. Whatever company that was
- 51:13Speaker 2: that donated the semi there, like, just make the truck
- 51:15Speaker 2: look really good. Yeah, I can keep driving no matter
- 51:19Speaker 2: what it is.
- 51:20Speaker 3: But that's just.
- 51:23Speaker 5: Right. Yes, yeah, it's so good.
- 51:26Speaker 2: But that scene is sweet.
- 51:28Speaker 5: Those are a couple of mind what was yours? Uh well,
- 51:31Speaker 5: kind of similar to you guys.
- 51:32Speaker 3: I mean the so the institution one for sure, the
- 51:35Speaker 3: mental hospital or whatever.
- 51:36Speaker 2: It's so cool. All of that is so fun.
- 51:39Speaker 3: And you get the moment.
- 51:40Speaker 5: Of her seeing.
- 51:44Speaker 3: Arnold Terminator because like she the last time she saw him,
- 51:48Speaker 3: he was trying to kill them, and.
- 51:50Speaker 5: So like that's terrible, very scared.
- 51:53Speaker 2: So scared.
- 51:53Speaker 5: She did such a great job.
- 51:54Speaker 3: I loved that. I also love the like you said,
- 51:59Speaker 3: box when we don't know who is the good guy
- 52:01Speaker 3: who's the bad guy, And we really don't know until
- 52:04Speaker 3: Arnold shoots you know, the other terminator with his like
- 52:09Speaker 3: he's got the roses, that he's got the shotgun in
- 52:11Speaker 3: all of a sudden and whatever.
- 52:14Speaker 5: But that whole scene is just really great and it.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Leads to like the you know, the all the semi
- 52:20Speaker 3: stuff that we talked about in the big chase and
- 52:22Speaker 3: all that crazy stuff.
- 52:23Speaker 5: So I love that scene as well.
- 52:25Speaker 3: Also, the greatest stunt in this movie is and it
- 52:28Speaker 3: was real, apparently the helicopter under the bridge. Crazy practical,
- 52:34Speaker 3: that's a practical.
- 52:35Speaker 5: He just flew it under the bridge.
- 52:37Speaker 2: And he goes over another bridge.
- 52:38Speaker 3: Like yeah, it's insane, and.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Then he goes back down and this shot is still
- 52:43Speaker 2: going and then he's got a machine gun going out
- 52:45Speaker 2: the front. Yeah that's all.
- 52:47Speaker 3: One shot, absolutely nuts sonkers. Yeah, I couldn't believe that.
- 52:51Speaker 3: So just all those like chases and stuff, I just
- 52:54Speaker 3: thought that was really great.
- 52:56Speaker 2: Awesome, And then you got Arnold with the roses and
- 52:59Speaker 2: he they got the quick shot of his foot stepping
- 53:02Speaker 2: on a rose, which is again just like a comic
- 53:04Speaker 2: book perfect yep, perfectness. I love that.
- 53:10Speaker 3: But yeah, if I was picking my favorite. I think
- 53:13Speaker 3: I would pick the Institution honestly, like, well and all
- 53:16Speaker 3: the stuff leading up, you know, and then for suing
- 53:19Speaker 3: from it.
- 53:20Speaker 4: Runner ups though, the Cyberdyne shootout, like when that is cool. Yeah,
- 53:26Speaker 4: Joe Morten dies and stuff that is nuts, but him
- 53:30Speaker 4: just like yeah, dude hitting all the knees like you
- 53:33Speaker 4: were saying that.
- 53:37Speaker 5: I also love when they're like there's no way out
- 53:39Speaker 5: of that room and.
- 53:40Speaker 3: He just goes through the wall.
- 53:43Speaker 5: Brilliant, great, brilliant.
- 53:44Speaker 2: Perfect, perfect.
- 53:46Speaker 5: Loved all of that, and then I mean the ending
- 53:48Speaker 5: sequence is insane, the liquid nitrogen, him walking and getting
- 53:53Speaker 5: like more frozen and just bat, that's a good call.
- 53:57Speaker 2: That's insane.
- 53:58Speaker 3: That is super super cool.
- 54:00Speaker 5: I was just like, I cannot believe this is from
- 54:02Speaker 5: thirty five years ago.
- 54:03Speaker 2: It was so yeah, still looks great. It's nuts. Make
- 54:07Speaker 2: up they did him or whatever to make them look
- 54:09Speaker 2: all frosted.
- 54:09Speaker 5: Yes, it was incredible, man, Yeah it was really neat.
- 54:13Speaker 3: That's a good call.
- 54:15Speaker 5: Yeah, so that's pretty high up there.
- 54:18Speaker 4: I'd be good with the Mental Institute too, though. That
- 54:21Speaker 4: was super fun. There's so much stuff that happens.
- 54:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's yeah, it's gotta be like forty minutes of
- 54:27Speaker 3: the movie.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Or yeah, absolutely love it. All right, let's go do it.
- 54:32Speaker 4: Damn well, let's let's talk about some quotes. Let's pick
- 54:36Speaker 4: our favorite ones, and let's show me the money.
- 54:39Speaker 5: Show me the money, show me.
- 54:47Speaker 2: You want to go first with some quotes? I mean, uh,
- 54:52Speaker 2: you gotta go all the all the short ones that
- 54:55Speaker 2: he does or back baby, yes, classic stuff, but one
- 55:02Speaker 2: of my favorites is just, uh, I need your clothes,
- 55:06Speaker 2: your boots and the motorcycle.
- 55:07Speaker 3: It's so good your motorcycle.
- 55:10Speaker 2: And all the all the ladies seeing him naked walk in.
- 55:14Speaker 4: There and they're all looking, they all look down and
- 55:17Speaker 4: then they're like ooh, every one of them.
- 55:21Speaker 2: Oh my.
- 55:21Speaker 4: It's like, nobody's going to be grossed out that there's
- 55:24Speaker 4: a naked dude walking by.
- 55:25Speaker 2: You're all just like, Wow, he's so hot.
- 55:28Speaker 3: I will say, in my experience, people are grossed out
- 55:31Speaker 3: for sure, But I.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Don't know you guys, I'm the terminator.
- 55:40Speaker 3: Someone has to have spoofed that at some point in
- 55:42Speaker 3: one of these like scary movies or.
- 55:44Speaker 5: Something good, just like it would be good Paul Walter
- 55:48Speaker 5: Hauser or something just naked.
- 55:51Speaker 3: What are you doing so doing? Get out of here.
- 56:03Speaker 2: Another one is chill out, Chill out that.
- 56:08Speaker 3: Like or any you know variation, any combination of.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Robot where a robot learns a little human gets me
- 56:16Speaker 2: right in the yep, the fes.
- 56:22Speaker 4: Definitely have those come with me if you want to
- 56:24Speaker 4: live hell. The other one, we love that one.
- 56:30Speaker 2: I like, I was gonna say, uh, this is a
- 56:34Speaker 2: super cheesy line, like if I had to read this,
- 56:36Speaker 2: I feel like I would do a bad job, and
- 56:38Speaker 2: a lot of actors might do a bad job. And surprisingly,
- 56:41Speaker 2: Arnold to me nails this line, which is at the end,
- 56:46Speaker 2: I know now why you cry something I could never do.
- 56:50Speaker 2: It's like it's perfect.
- 56:51Speaker 3: It's such a.
- 56:53Speaker 2: Yeah. I agreed, and he touches his face and like, good.
- 56:58Speaker 3: Job, Arnold, you did the best you could do with
- 57:02Speaker 3: that line, for sure, and it was great.
- 57:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:04Speaker 5: Oh and it's a robot saying it.
- 57:05Speaker 2: He's got that.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Out always that.
- 57:10Speaker 2: What's your favorite rap?
- 57:12Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, I think all those Hustle Viza for sure.
- 57:16Speaker 4: I really liked John Connor. He's like we've got company
- 57:19Speaker 4: and Miles. I was like, police, like how many He's
- 57:22Speaker 4: like all of them? I think all of them.
- 57:26Speaker 5: I liked that.
- 57:27Speaker 2: That's pretty great.
- 57:29Speaker 4: There's one that I caught when they call back to
- 57:36Speaker 4: John's like step parents or foster parents, I don't know
- 57:40Speaker 4: what they are, and.
- 57:42Speaker 5: They're like, oh, you can hear the dog barking in
- 57:45Speaker 5: them back, like what's what's his name?
- 57:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 57:47Speaker 5: I love that, and he switches it up and she's like, Wolf,
- 57:50Speaker 5: He's fine, honey, Wolf, He's just fine. Where are you?
- 57:53Speaker 2: So?
- 57:54Speaker 5: Did you ever watch The League? The show The League?
- 57:58Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 57:58Speaker 5: I had the musician. His name's John LaToya I think
- 58:02Speaker 5: is his name.
- 58:03Speaker 3: That sounds right, But.
- 58:05Speaker 4: He made a band and it is called Wolf. He's
- 58:08Speaker 4: just fine and it is from shut Out.
- 58:11Speaker 5: That's greatly correct. Yeah, that's awesome. I love it when
- 58:16Speaker 5: people do that.
- 58:16Speaker 3: Yeah, that's great.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Is the scene where the two one thousand goes and
- 58:20Speaker 2: looks at the dog's collar to see the name? Is
- 58:22Speaker 2: that in the regular version or is that extended nothink?
- 58:25Speaker 3: That's an extended cut thing?
- 58:26Speaker 2: Because it was that, which was kind of cool because
- 58:29Speaker 2: then you know that he knows that they know that,
- 58:30Speaker 2: he knows that they know that he knows.
- 58:33Speaker 5: That they're Yeah, why would they take that out? Because
- 58:35Speaker 5: that that would have been great?
- 58:36Speaker 3: And it was like two seconds.
- 58:39Speaker 2: Yeah, and you see him or you don't see him,
- 58:41Speaker 2: but you know that he killed the dog, so he's
- 58:43Speaker 2: super right.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that might have been why they took
- 58:47Speaker 3: it out, honestly, just because then he had to kill
- 58:49Speaker 3: the dog.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Maybe sure. But what about you.
- 58:55Speaker 3: Give is always a great one?
- 58:59Speaker 2: Now.
- 59:00Speaker 3: I love that so much. I just hear our friend
- 59:04Speaker 3: Evan saying all these so good? What'd you say?
- 59:07Speaker 2: Box? Here? Drive?
- 59:09Speaker 3: Here?
- 59:09Speaker 2: Drive?
- 59:11Speaker 3: I also loved uh. I think it's the video of
- 59:15Speaker 3: her freaking out Linda Hamilton, but when she's like, anyone
- 59:19Speaker 3: not wearing two million sunblock is going to have a
- 59:21Speaker 3: pretty bad day, And I thought that was very relatable
- 59:24Speaker 3: because that's how I feel most days in the summer.
- 59:27Speaker 3: That's nice. I like that she's talking right to me,
- 59:30Speaker 3: to me, Oh, I love that. One thing I always
- 59:37Speaker 3: think of from this movie for some reason is my
- 59:39Speaker 3: CPU is a neural net process or yearning computing computer.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Yet you know, I know that it's because of crank
- 59:47Speaker 2: anchors or whatever prank phone calls back in the day. Yes,
- 59:50Speaker 2: the store and then like they only used Arnold clips
- 59:55Speaker 2: like hello, yes.
- 59:57Speaker 5: Oh they had the sound board, had the board.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: That's right, And it's hilarious kindergarten cop ones.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, what kind of computer are you talking about, sir?
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: Process Okay, I forgot about me too.
- 1:00:20Speaker 5: Oh you just opened up a whole part of my brain.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: I thought was good.
- 1:00:24Speaker 5: That's finally who is your daddy and what does he do?
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: So that's not appropriate?
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: That so funny? Did we say did we say come
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: with me if you want to leave? Have we said
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: that one yet? Because that's a big one.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Okay, you did say it.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: Sorry, that's such a big one.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: Come with me? So good?
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: I mean, honestly, those are pretty much it's mostly an
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: action movie, it really is.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: We just lifted every single line pretty much in the movie.
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: There was like some exposition lines. We probably didn't say
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: what that was about it.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: All right, Well, let's let's move on to bugs boohoom moments.
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: Why crying game?
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: Oh god, I forget about that every time.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: It's so good. It's so good.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: I feel like you could have cried more than I thought.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: I put down two. But I don't know.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: In doing it with this man for so long, I
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: know how many times.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: And the podcast, I.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: Mean, when when Sarah says how much she loves John,
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: Maybe I thought that was one time when she kind
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: of like finally drops her guard.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: And maybe maybe I think it's that part. I'm just
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: I'm reading my note, but it was like the you
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: cannot risk yourself even for me, that part.
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: It was that part, right, yeah, yeah, yes, then yes
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: that and yeah then what Box was saying the thumb
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: just when the terminator terminates himself.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: That did not get me. And I was thoroughly shocked
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: leading up to that though, like the leading up to
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: it did, But that didn't for some reason. Sure, But
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: I mean all of that is yes then yes, yeah, you're.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Right. Yeah. I like the part where she's like watching
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: the terminator and John She's like, you know it. It
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: became crystal clear to me that the Terminator would never stop.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: It would never leave him, It would never hurt him,
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: showered at him, or get drunk and hit him. You know,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: all these times, all these men that I had tried
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: to find as a father figure, none of them would
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: ever live up to this machine. Who would stand by him?
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: And he's teaching him down load too slow? Perfect, that's awesome,
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: so great.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: Didn't cry then, though, No, didn't cry then either, Oh
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: you heartless best.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: He's getting calous.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: Those were in for this one, which I was kind
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: of surprised.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: It was just.
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: Too you nailed it, Puddy. I would have definitely guessed.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: More than that for this one.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: But yeah, it's mostly action, it really is, which doesn't
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: always mean a damn thing with me, honestly.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: So you nailed it. Great work, Thank you, great job.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: So we said this stuff about Robert Patrick, the rigorous
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: running regime that he took so he could you know,
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: run without with just breathing through his nose. He actually
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: trained so hard. They said that he was able to
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: catch up to Edward for long on the dirt bike
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: with ease, and that seems pretty intense.
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: So fast, very fast, rigorous running regime. That's a fun
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: little running regime.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: That's your next band name there. It is where the
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: rigorous running I don't want to do production took.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: All we talked about him, he went through a.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Growth spurt, all that good stuff that.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: Talked about the Twin sisters and apparently the twin Redhead
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: dudes refun that's crazy.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Also just a great solution to a problem movie wise,
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: Like that's really fun.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: I like that.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: I love that kind of stuff where you're like, oh yeah, duh, yeah,
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Oh that's just the interesting answer.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Actually, yeah, like probably the least expensive or whatever.
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: Yeah, they could have spent a gajillion dollars.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Could have used weird mirrors and all sorts of double
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: shots and whatever. Yeah, just hire twins crazy. Oh oh yeah,
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: let's just do that idea.
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: Speaking of a million billion dollars, Industrial Light and Magic's
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: computer graphics department had to grow from six artists almost
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: thirty six to accommodate all the work required to bring
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: the team one thousand to life, costing five point five
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: million dollars, taking eight months to produce, and ultimately amounting
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: in three and a half minutes of screen time.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: But that screen time is perfect, I mean is crazy.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: That's just remember what a computer was like in nineteen
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: ninety one, Like literally.
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: It was like a frogger. It pretty much could only.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: Play messed up basically like Windows ninety five had not
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: won't come out.
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: For four more yets.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: It's crusty old Windows or whatever they were doing. Like
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: when you turn it on, it makes bleeps and boots
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: and like mill like old.
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: Old forward slash forward slash hearts.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: You know they were they were probably coding the software
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: that they used to make stuff as they were making
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: it or whatever. It's nuts. Yeah, that is crazy.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: Carolco Studio executives were nervous and concerned when the original
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: budget of seventy five million ballooned up to eighty eight million,
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: with more still to come. In order to keep the
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: budget manageable, they proposed to eliminate a few scenes, particularly
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: the opening biker bar scene where the terminator is introduced,
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: which is insane, dumb, and they tried to get Arnold
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: Schwarzenegger to persuade James Cameron to remove the scene, but
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: apparently all Arnold's was He just turned him down, saying
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: only a studio guy would want to cut a scene.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: Note like that. That scene is so perfect. I haven't
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: talked about that scene more honestly. It's it's a great scene.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: It's a scene.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: It's a great fight. It's what's led to like us
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: doing the bar fights thing. But it's just it's so perfect.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: It sets the scene so perfectly for us.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: It's yeah, it's great.
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: I love bar fights.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: I love him.
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: He loves them.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: I know Rob loves him. We talked about the crazy
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: pilot just going under the bridge. It's nuts, special effects
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: guru Stan Winston and his crew studied hours of nuclear
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: test footage in order to make Sarah Connor's nuclear nightmare
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: scene look as realistic as possible so scary. A miniature Los.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Angeles was made to simulate the scene.
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: Some of the materials used in the miniature that mimicked
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: all the destroyed masonry were Matzo's crackers and shredded wheat.
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: Each take, it would take on average two days to
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: set the model up to shoot again. In late nineteen
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: ninety one, members of several US federal nuclear testing labs
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: unofficially declared that it was the most accurate depiction of
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: a nuclear blast ever created for a fictional motion picture.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: The special effects team members have stated several times that
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: no scene they've worked on since received an equivalent amount
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: of praise or emotional.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Feedback from viewers.
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: So that's pretty cool, that's cool, pretty while pretty.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: Well, let's see, we talked about the oscars.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: What else we got?
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: For the Los Angeles River sequence, Arnold was in pain
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: because he couldn't wear a glove while cocking the gun
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: so his finger would get stuck in the mechanism. He
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: tore the skin from his fingers and had many times
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: before he mastered it, and he also.
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: Frequently hit Edward Furlong with the gun while doing it,
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: one time almost knocking the young actor out. Yike, is
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: this how all movies are going to be? Is this?
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: I don't do this anymore? His voice didn't change because
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: of puberty. It just got not.
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: A girlfriend should be furious.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: He had to achieve all this while trying to act
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: and control of Harley at the same time as James
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: Cameron told him where to look because he couldn't dart
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: his eyes because it would have ruined the shot. So
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: shooting the gates itself took weeks of practice because he
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: had to act cool while doing it. So apparently that
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: was practical, which seems very impractical.
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: I mean it's even a cut like look what or
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: have someone pull on a string that opens it up?
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: We'll never know crazy.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: I thought that was nuts.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: It's hard to look cool honestly too, and do all
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: this stuff like.
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: It's a motorcycle that's easy to not look cool. None
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: of us would look cooling any.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Of that stuff.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: Also, that of it that motorcycle's cool, it's like a
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: ninety one fat Boy or something.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: She's pretty cool at the motorcycle. Pretty cool.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Linda Hamilton learned how to pick locks for the scene
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: in the mental hospital where she did with the paper clip.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: But that was fun. She picks two locks. Oh yeah,
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: she does do too, doesn't she. Nice.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: Arnold was given a slightly used gulf Stream three airplane
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: worth about fourteen million by producer producer Mario casar Caasar
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: for accepting.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: The role in this film.
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: So you get a jet.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Here's a jet. Crazy, wow, pretty nuts.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: Let's see Edward though this was great. Edward forlong immediately
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: got along with Arnold Swarzenegger, as the young actor had
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: grown up without a father figure, and Swartzenegger could fill
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: that role both in front and behind the camera. Lynda Hamilton, however,
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: joked that she experienced excruciating moments when she was forced
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: to listen as Schwarzenegger game for along advice about women,
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: and stated that they did so well together because they
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: were both emotionally the same age.
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: That's amazing.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: That was great, really fun, love it. Let's see.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: Fun. Fact that the kid from Selula Shortz is in
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: this movie is that the redheaded kid?
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: I love that with the mullet.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: That's why I knew that guy I.
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: Was gonna I thought he looked FI thank you for
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: looking that up. I love that.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: That was a choice, Yeah, that was a choice.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: He doesn't write his friend out, though, tells the family
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: I love that scene where he's just like kid that way,
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: and then we never see him again. He's dead.
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: He actually hit his head when he pushed him. He
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: hit his head on the cabinet of video game. The
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: extended cut. No, no, that's that's just my making scene.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: It's so weird.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: It's very strange with a Frogger machine, very strange.
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: An alternate ending.
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: Though in the extended cut, was filmed and shown, which
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: showed an elderly Sarah sitting at the park telling story
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: about the terminator, watching John play with his daughter and
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: tying her granddaughter's shoes. I'd also showed John Connor working
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: as a congressman and ends with like a thing like
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: he now uses his wits to argue on the Senate
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: floor or whatever. But James Cameron decided not to use
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: the ending and replaced it with the unknown road ending.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: So that was when I was like, I watched an
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: extended cut, didn't I Because.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: I don't remember this at all. Yeah, So I thought
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: that was interesting.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: And the last thing I have is James Cameron's own
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: screams were used for the death throes of the T
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: one thousand in the Molten.
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: Yeah, that was cool too. Jumps into all the people
- 1:12:10Speaker 4: that he had become.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: That was cool. I liked that.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: I was creepy, it was neat. Yeah's making him a
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: really cool, like alien sort of screechy sound.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: Yeah. When he's like Cameron, he's a lizard person. Yeah.
- 1:12:27Speaker 5: There's no processing on that or anything. Just to him
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: scared him.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: I The only other thing I saw that you didn't
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: mention was that Denzel Washington turned down the roll of
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: Miles Bennett Dyson. He said no offense to Jim Cameron.
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: But when I read the script, I thought, all he
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: does is look scared and sweat.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: I had to pass. He sweat so much. He was
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: very sweat. He would have done great. Yeah, but this
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: guy was great. So I like it. He doesn't look
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: like a nerd as much as the that's true. It
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: looks like a scientist nerd man.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: That's true.
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: Like it.
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: Yeah, Sweetened, anybody else have anything else?
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: That's all the ones I have?
- 1:13:06Speaker 5: All right? Well, will there'd be a sequel Judgment Day,
- 1:13:11Speaker 5: that's what kind of happened.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: And there's so many sequels, so many.
- 1:13:17Speaker 4: Well, we had the prequel to this, we have T two,
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: we have Terminator three, Rise to the Machines, Terminator Salvation,
- 1:13:25Speaker 4: Terminator Genesis, and Terminator Dark Fate. Yep, that was the
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: last one in twenty nineteen. I haven't seen Genesis or
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: Dark Fate.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: I think I've.
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: Seen them all, but I don't remember much about them.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: Yeah. One of them was Christian Bale. Is that right? Salvation?
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: That was Salvation? Got it?
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: Yeah, that was the one where he went off on
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: that lighting guy.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that was that good. True you're a nice guy.
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: But you're not a professional.
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: Wow, I forgot that was that movie. That's crazy.
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: Yeah he was probably losing.
- 1:14:02Speaker 5: Yeah, probably, I haven't for weight for gaining it.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: That guy's nuts, he is. Well, do you guys want
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: to play a game? Oh?
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: Yes, I made a quotes game. So I'm going to
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: give you a quote from a film. Once you know
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: the film, you're going to ring in with your name,
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: and I just want two pieces of information from you.
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: For two points.
- 1:14:23Speaker 5: I want the name of the film and the character
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: who said the quote, so the actor's name, no character,
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: the character who said the quote, and the name of
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: the film. If you get any of those wrong, someone
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: else can ring in and steal. And there are no
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: negative points for wrong answers.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: All of these films will have something in common and
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: probably has something in common with the movie we just
- 1:14:49Speaker 4: talked about. When you know the theme, you can ring
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: in at any time.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: For a point. I think I know it now.
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: Yeah, probably, let's do it. You guys ready, all right,
- 1:15:03Speaker 5: here's the first one.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: I'll be back, Aaron. Yes, is a Terminator too. It's
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: the character the Terminator.
- 1:15:17Speaker 5: You got the character name, it's.
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: But the movie is Terminator one.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: So just.
- 1:15:24Speaker 5: So you guys are both on the boards. Bugs, what's up?
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Are these all Arnold Schwarzenegger movies?
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: They're all yes, you got They're all schwartz Negger.
- 1:15:38Speaker 5: I'll be back. Okay, here's number two. I'll be back.
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: I guess here we go. Let's go to number two.
- 1:15:50Speaker 5: Get to the chappa.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: Oh god, what is that?
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: Uh?
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: Predator it is?
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: Do you remember his name?
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: And Predator?
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: No, I've only ever seen that one once or twice.
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: That's not a one.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: I've seen it a lot, and I didn't know his name, Okay,
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: so that wouldn't have mattered.
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know how box. Do you know what
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: his name is now?
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: His name is Dutch. I didn't know that.
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: That sounds familiar. After that, I was like, oh, yeah, but.
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: You get one more point their views nice? Yes, number three,
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: you're a funny guy, Sully.
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: I like you. That's why I'm gonna kill you last. Oh,
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: finny guys, you're a funny guy.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: Sully.
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: I like you. That's why I'm gonna kill you last.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Your Arnold impersonation needs you know. I think he's nailing it.
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: Uh, go for it?
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Is it Batman and Robin? It's not.
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: Is that even the one that's in he's in Batman Moro?
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Okay, that is the right one. Aaron kindergarten cop.
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: He's in that as well. But this was not it.
- 1:17:11Speaker 5: This one was Commando one that I've never seen.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: I've never seen commando either, yep.
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: And his name is Matrix.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: Apparently I've gone several times, but yes, you.
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: Have, I've seen it. All right, let's go to number four.
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: It's not a tumors kindergarten cop. This is kindergarten cop.
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: Do you remember his name in that? Is it Richard Kimball.
- 1:17:41Speaker 5: It's definitely, yes, Kimball. I'll give you half for Richard Kimball.
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: Richard Kimball was the fugitive.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: Oh is that why?
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: I think? Oh that's why?
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: Do you know the first name box?
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: No, Stephen, it's John John John Kimball.
- 1:18:03Speaker 5: John Kimball.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: Uh what did you just give me half for that?
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: I'll give you one and a half. You got kindergarten?
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: Yeah? Sorry?
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: Yeah, let's go number five? What killed the dinosaurs? The
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: ice age?
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: Yes, gotta be Batman? And rap it is? And who
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: is he plays? Mister Freeze?
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: You sure do? Do you know what I was just
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: gonna say?
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: I wonder what his name is?
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: Giving you?
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Mister Freeze? Norman, doctor Cryl.
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: It's doctor Victor Freeze.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: Victor is Norman like Octopus doctor Opus?
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: Yes? No, yeah, Norman Osbourne is Osborne?
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: Yeah? Nice? Where are we after five?
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: I think I have four and a half and I
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: think boxes three?
- 1:19:01Speaker 5: Nice?
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: Feel better about boxes than I did of mine.
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: Okay, let's go number six. The first it's here?
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: It is?
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: Consider that a divorce.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: Aaron?
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: You know it?
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: Twins?
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: Twins, It's not twins.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: Shoot, I don't know why that.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: Here? It is here, it is what was my job?
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: Consider that a divorce?
- 1:19:34Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: I know it now, don't say it. Don't say it you.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: I don't know what consider that M five?
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: Yes?
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: Does he say it in true lies?
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: Maybe?
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: Maybe?
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: But he didn't.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: I thought it was I thought he was saying to
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: Carrera's character.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 1:19:53Speaker 5: No.
- 1:19:54Speaker 4: This was in total recall, recall, recall.
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: Doing a hard time.
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: Guys. His name was Quaid.
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: That was where I was.
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: Got it, got it?
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: Shoot here we got it.
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: Yeah, this one's a good one.
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: Number seven. My nipples are very sensitive.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: But it's gotta be.
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: Uh it is j It's gotta be.
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: I was looking for junior quotes. I was like, I
- 1:20:27Speaker 5: don't know, this is a funny one.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: Dude. I loved that movie. It's so bad. I bet
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: it's not great. I do you remember I did what character?
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: Now? Yeah? Do you have any guesses, either of you?
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: It's all they're all like Matrix and Dutch.
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: Yeah, this one is not.
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: This one's John Smith or something.
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: That says doctor alex Hess that's a very normal stunding name. Yes,
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: but you got another point there. But it's nicely done.
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: Number eight, put that cookie down now, Yes.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: Jingle all the way, Jingle all the way.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: Bro nice total total probably says it to an l
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: for something.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: It's by far the number one quote, though it.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: Was all over. I don't know that character's name either.
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with Felix Anderson close.
- 1:21:29Speaker 5: It's not that close. It's Carlson. Nope, Howard Lankston mm hmm,
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: all right, but he got another point for sure. Number nine,
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: make it quick because my horse is getting tired, Bukes.
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: That's gotta be true. Lies, that's true. Lies. And do
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: you remember his name? I bet you get this one.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: Definitely Harry it is. I'll give you Harry.

- 1:22:10Speaker 5: Different movie.

- 1:22:26Speaker 2: Yep, give me half for that, or you give me

- 1:23:18Speaker 3: go to a show that he's at. Book him for something.
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: I don't know if you can do that through there,
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: do it.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: I'm fun and funky and and and kind of interesting.
