As New Year's Eve revelers crowd the streets, Johnny Dollar's quiet plans for a peaceful evening are interrupted by his insurance boss Hal Kemper and a worried cardiologist with a chilling warning. A wealthy widow's heart condition may not be her biggest threat tonight — one of her two visiting nephews might be planning to make sure she doesn't survive to see 1962. Johnny heads out to play bodyguard, tallying expenses while racing to stop a murder disguised as a holiday visit.
