- 0:02Speaker 1: On scoring Lis Oscodia. This is the Reader Panehy Show.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Good evening, Anne, Welcome to the readA Panehy Show. Coming
- 0:11Speaker 2: up tonight, your gas bill is about to jump up further.
- 0:15Speaker 2: We'll look at why a magistrate causes outrage by asking
- 0:19Speaker 2: a violent criminal she was sentencing to perform a Welcome
- 0:22Speaker 2: to country. Nick Kata will join you shortly to discuss that.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Also on the program tonight, we have the A team
- 0:29Speaker 2: Josh Hammer, Kosher Geta and later in the hour Kinsey Schofield.
- 0:33Speaker 2: We'll explain why celebrity endorsements are hurting not helping the
- 0:38Speaker 2: Harris Wall's team and Left is losing It features the
- 0:41Speaker 2: Leader of the Free World, Remember him, He's still the President.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Joe Biden's moved on from putting his foot in his
- 0:48Speaker 2: mouth to putting a baby's foot in his mouth. Oh dear,
- 1:01Speaker 2: but first, an eighteen month legal challenge brought by the
- 1:05Speaker 2: Victorian Premier's office to keep a single phrase secret has failed,
- 1:09Speaker 2: and he has now been revealed that Victorians who are
- 1:12Speaker 2: skeptical of the state government straconian COVID restrictions were called
- 1:16Speaker 2: pig headed no at Alls by the Department of Premier
- 1:20Speaker 2: and The cabinet email was originally released under freedom of
- 1:23Speaker 2: information laws last year, but the Premier's office redacted that insult,
- 1:29Speaker 2: claiming that it should be kept secret as its release
- 1:33Speaker 2: would be contrary to the public interest. I bet the
- 1:36Speaker 2: email containing the insult was sent during the pandemic on
- 1:41Speaker 2: April sixth, twenty twenty two to former Premier Daniel Andrews
- 1:44Speaker 2: taxpayer funded political strategy firm q DOS Research. Joining me
- 1:50Speaker 2: now is a senior fellow at the Menzies Research Center
- 1:54Speaker 2: and columnists with the Australian newspaper, Nick Kita. Nick, is
- 1:59Speaker 2: anyone some rise that government bureaucrats were disparaging Victoria's Victorians
- 2:05Speaker 2: in this manner, that they treated the entire state like
- 2:09Speaker 2: mushrooms throughout the COVID.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Era, Yeah, portrays their absolute contempt for ordinary people. You know,
- 2:18Speaker 3: most people are capable of making sensible decisions given the
- 2:22Speaker 3: right information. They don't have to be told instructive what
- 2:25Speaker 3: to do. Pick headed, No, it alls takes one to
- 2:28Speaker 3: no one, doesn't it. Reader, And I think there were
- 2:30Speaker 3: a lot of pig headed nodles that were actually running
- 2:33Speaker 3: this whole health campaign. They were the ones who told us.
- 2:36Speaker 3: You remember in the early days that we could catch
- 2:38Speaker 3: COVID from door handles. They were the ones who said,
- 2:41Speaker 3: don't catch peaceaball it comes hurtling into the crowd. Yeah, exactly,
- 2:46Speaker 3: football that. They were the ones who said, oh, yes,
- 2:48Speaker 3: this has been spread by the pangolin. It couldn't possibly
- 2:52Speaker 3: have been invented in a lab, and so on and
- 2:54Speaker 3: so on. You know, if they'd have got things right
- 2:58Speaker 3: every step of the way, well we might be listening
- 3:01Speaker 3: to them. But the fact is that the picktic nodles
- 3:04Speaker 3: out there in the community generally got it much much
- 3:08Speaker 3: brighter or much more more correct than the bureaucrats and
- 3:12Speaker 3: the politicians sitting isolated in their ivory towers.
- 3:18Speaker 2: So many of their instructions were ridiculous on the face
- 3:22Speaker 2: of it. He didn't have to be an infectious disease
- 3:24Speaker 2: expert to know that telling people to go indoors when
- 3:28Speaker 2: there is a virus circulating as opposed to being outdoors
- 3:32Speaker 2: in the fresh air was crazy advice, telling people to
- 3:37Speaker 2: wear masks outdoors, all sorts of instructions that just seemed
- 3:41Speaker 2: to defy logic. But Victoria's former chief health officer, Bret Sutton,
- 3:47Speaker 2: remember him. He served as Dad Andrew's right hand man
- 3:51Speaker 2: essentially during the pandemic. He has refused to admit that
- 3:54Speaker 2: the restrictions imposed on Victorians were too extreme to draconian,
- 4:00Speaker 2: saying that it should have just been communicated better.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Nick.
- 4:04Speaker 2: That was the problem. It was the communication problem, not
- 4:07Speaker 2: a policy problem. I'm not sure how it can be
- 4:10Speaker 2: so utterly clueless about how wrong he and the Victorian
- 4:15Speaker 2: government gott it.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Nick.
- 4:16Speaker 2: It was a disaster on every measurement.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a curfew was put in place for the
- 4:23Speaker 3: absolutely needless reasons. So they should have just communicated that
- 4:27Speaker 3: curfew better. You know, people were arrested for stepping off
- 4:30Speaker 3: the outside the boundaries of their property to put the
- 4:33Speaker 3: binner out. I remember, so what they just communicated that
- 4:36Speaker 3: bessage wrongly. No, they got it utterly and completely wrong
- 4:41Speaker 3: from starting to finish. And actually Brett Sutton said one
- 4:44Speaker 3: thing he said was that he felt that people's trust
- 4:48Speaker 3: in health officials had diminished. And he spot on there.
- 4:51Speaker 3: And this is the trouble. When you come up with
- 4:53Speaker 3: these author authoritarian rules, you don't listen to people, you
- 4:57Speaker 3: don't give them the benefit of saying, well, you're intelligent,
- 5:01Speaker 3: we'll give you the information you make your own choices. Then,
- 5:03Speaker 3: of course, of course trust in public health officials diminished.
- 5:08Speaker 3: So this would be one legacy if we know, God
- 5:10Speaker 3: forbid we get another of these pandemics. But if we do,
- 5:14Speaker 3: people will be trusting the officials a whole lot less
- 5:17Speaker 3: because of the pig headedness, the pig headed know it
- 5:20Speaker 3: all to run it last time.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Well, I do wonder about that, because as we are
- 5:27Speaker 2: trying to hold the bureaucrats responsible, the politicians responsible for
- 5:31Speaker 2: the many, many mistakes, we've got to acknowledge the media
- 5:36Speaker 2: was a big part of this problem. The hysteria, the
- 5:39Speaker 2: scare mongering from the media was absolutely out of control
- 5:44Speaker 2: and the population, overwhelming majority of the population was on
- 5:48Speaker 2: board with these restrictions. I know that well because I
- 5:52Speaker 2: was one of the very few in the media and
- 5:55Speaker 2: as a Victorian who was against it, and you knew
- 5:59Speaker 2: you were in the mind at that point, and it
- 6:03Speaker 2: felt very, very strange because I think most of us
- 6:07Speaker 2: who are not crazy lefties in the media, we normally
- 6:11Speaker 2: know where outsiders in the media, but when it comes
- 6:15Speaker 2: to the majority of Australians, we're very much in the mainstream.
- 6:18Speaker 2: But on this issue, my goodness, I was certainly in
- 6:21Speaker 2: the minority. Now I've gotten more good news for Victorians.
- 6:25Speaker 2: They can look forward to extra charges of around one
- 6:28Speaker 2: hundred and forty dollars on their gas bills. OSNET, which
- 6:32Speaker 2: services six hundred and eighty thousand customers in Victoria, wants
- 6:35Speaker 2: to hike network access fees to account for the Victorian
- 6:38Speaker 2: labor government's ban on new household gas connections. OSNET says
- 6:44Speaker 2: the ban means that its gas network must inevitably sees
- 6:48Speaker 2: growing and start declining in size due to the energy
- 6:53Speaker 2: source being essentially outlawed in this state. Nick, we are
- 6:56Speaker 2: paying exorbitant amounts for gas in Victoria despite sitting on
- 7:02Speaker 2: hundreds of years of reserves.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Exactly, and we opened up those reserves in Victoria's you know,
- 7:10Speaker 3: we've spoken about this before. The price of gas would
- 7:13Speaker 3: come down and there would be no threat of a shortage.
- 7:17Speaker 3: There is gas there. We have some of the best
- 7:20Speaker 3: gas reserves in the world. You know, we are i
- 7:23Speaker 3: think now now the third or fourth largest exporter of
- 7:27Speaker 3: natural gas, but we can't find enough for the people
- 7:30Speaker 3: of Victoria, who are used more gas than anybody else.
- 7:33Speaker 3: By the way, where it's more heavy use of gas
- 7:35Speaker 3: in Victoria and now, as if the price of energy
- 7:39Speaker 3: wasn't enough, as if it wasn't punishing households enough, they're
- 7:43Speaker 3: now finding another reason to put up the price of
- 7:46Speaker 3: a basic energy supply at this time, gas not electricity.
- 7:52Speaker 3: You know, this is just punishing for ordinary people, as
- 7:55Speaker 3: you know, I mean, people on large incomes hardly notice this.
- 7:58Speaker 3: But if you're on a low income, you've got to
- 8:00Speaker 3: heat your home, you've got to do your cooking, you've
- 8:03Speaker 3: got to power the place. It hurts a lot.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Oh absolutely. Now let's talk about Broken Hill, home to
- 8:12Speaker 2: nineteen thousand residents. It's continuing to experience rolling blackouts for
- 8:16Speaker 2: the better part of a week since a storm brought
- 8:19Speaker 2: down the transmission line connecting the town to the East
- 8:22Speaker 2: Coast grid, even though the town is connected to enough
- 8:27Speaker 2: renewable energy to supposedly power one hundred and seventeen thousand
- 8:32Speaker 2: homes via the Silverton wind Farm and Broken Hills solar plant.
- 8:37Speaker 2: These two renewable energy plants are backed by agl's big
- 8:42Speaker 2: battery facility at Pinnacle's Place. It's one of the largest
- 8:46Speaker 2: in Australia. Nick, is this a little preview of what
- 8:50Speaker 2: we can expect if we've become dependent on renewables and
- 8:53Speaker 2: battery backup.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 3: So Broken Hill, they're connected by long piece of wire
- 9:02Speaker 3: to the rest of the grid, so they're always vulnerable, right,
- 9:04Speaker 3: especially if we're going to get these free weather events
- 9:07Speaker 3: we're told to expect more of. So when the power
- 9:09Speaker 3: lines did come down and they were disconnected with the grid,
- 9:12Speaker 3: no problem in theory, because they've been told that they
- 9:15Speaker 3: would have this little micro grid, you know, renewable energy, wind, battery,
- 9:20Speaker 3: solar would just keep the place alive any event, None
- 9:24Speaker 3: of it happened. The wind and the solar were offline
- 9:27Speaker 3: because the transmission lines had come down, so that was
- 9:30Speaker 3: absolutely useless. The battery was useless for about the first
- 9:34Speaker 3: eight or nine days, and then when they did get
- 9:36Speaker 3: it up and running, they had to charge it up
- 9:38Speaker 3: with diesel. And still they've had rolling blackouts in Broken Hill.
- 9:43Speaker 3: So I think were this shows if you can't keep
- 9:46Speaker 3: a town like Broken Hill nineteen thousand people properly equipped
- 9:52Speaker 3: with power using renewable sources alone, what hope for the
- 9:57Speaker 3: rest of the country reta, which is the way it
- 9:59Speaker 3: was be going with Bowen. You know, we're all going
- 10:02Speaker 3: to be in Broken Hills situation. Pretty soon the whole
- 10:05Speaker 3: thing comes crashing down. You need baslow power, that's it.
- 10:08Speaker 3: And most of Broken Hill at moments being powered by diesel.
- 10:12Speaker 3: They've even told people to turn off their solar panels
- 10:14Speaker 3: on the roof because they're playing havoc with the diesel generator.
- 10:17Speaker 3: So you know, this is when push comes to shop.
- 10:21Speaker 3: The whole dream, the whole fantasy of renewable energy just
- 10:24Speaker 3: comes crashing down. And it's of course serious if you're
- 10:28Speaker 3: running a butcher's shop or something and you lose stop
- 10:31Speaker 3: because of this.
- 10:32Speaker 2: This is the disaster for every every household in absolutely
- 10:39Speaker 2: unless you've got a generator in Broken Hill, everything in
- 10:45Speaker 2: your free freezer is gone, and I don't know how
- 10:48Speaker 2: you're getting by over that long, lengthy period without reliable energy.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Before you go, I'm going to just quickly ask you
- 10:54Speaker 2: about Judge Penelope Wass of the Tari District Court in
- 10:58Speaker 2: Regional New South Wales. She invited an indigenous teen to
- 11:02Speaker 2: give a welcome to country before being sentenced for multiple
- 11:06Speaker 2: break and enters, two of which involved a ninety two
- 11:10Speaker 2: year old woman and one involving an eighty eight year
- 11:13Speaker 2: old woman who was also sexually touched during the robbery.
- 11:18Speaker 2: The team pled guilty to all the charges and was
- 11:22Speaker 2: released on parole given time already served by the judge
- 11:26Speaker 2: who sentenced the teen as a child rather than an adult,
- 11:30Speaker 2: and she reported also said he was welcome to perform
- 11:34Speaker 2: the ceremony again, the welcome to country again in any court.
- 11:38Speaker 2: She presided over. Nick, I'm lost for words.
- 11:44Speaker 3: They should have they should have said, you welcomed your
- 11:46Speaker 3: new prison cell and here's your new cell mate. That's
- 11:50Speaker 3: the only welcome he should have been given.
- 11:56Speaker 2: It's just incredible, incredible. We do not want to have
- 11:59Speaker 2: a two justice system in this country. Nikata, thanks for
- 12:03Speaker 2: your time this evening.
- 12:06Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Joining me now is Newsweek's senior editor in chief and
- 12:10Speaker 2: Article three Projects senior Council Josh Hammer. Josh, let's start
- 12:15Speaker 2: with the media gas lighting we've seen over the past
- 12:19Speaker 2: twenty four hours after President Joe Biden called half the
- 12:21Speaker 2: country garbage. It's on tape. It's clear what he said.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Only garbage I see flowed down there is his supporters,
- 12:29Speaker 2: but many in the media happy to accept the official
- 12:32Speaker 2: White House explanation instead of believing their lying eyes and ears.
- 12:37Speaker 7: Just to clarify, he was not calling Trump supporters garbage.
- 12:41Speaker 8: The President wanted to clarify because he understood that what he.
- 12:44Speaker 9: May have said was he understood that what he was
- 12:47Speaker 9: saying was to be.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Taken out of contacts Josh, he said it. He may
- 12:52Speaker 2: regret saying it. Certainly Kamala Harris regrets him saying it,
- 12:56Speaker 2: but that requires an apology, not gas lighting the.
- 13:02Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, let's talk a little bit about taking
- 13:04Speaker 10: things out of context while we're on the top at
- 13:07Speaker 10: Kreine Jean Pierre Shaley. I mean, how about this notion
- 13:10Speaker 10: that Donald Trump was calling for an American blood bath
- 13:13Speaker 10: on day one and office come January twenty twenty five,
- 13:16Speaker 10: as opposed to what he was actually talking about, which
- 13:19Speaker 10: they blood bath for Detroit and the American auto industry
- 13:22Speaker 10: of Kamala Harris's EVY mandates go into place. You want
- 13:24Speaker 10: to talk about context Green, Jean Pierre, how about Charlottesville, Virginia,
- 13:29Speaker 10: the whole fine people on both sides, Folks about the
- 13:31Speaker 10: tiki torch, neo Nazi losers, the little dweaves there. Donald
- 13:35Speaker 10: Trump did not say that that was totally taken out
- 13:38Speaker 10: of context one thousand percent. Look, we just saw the clip.
- 13:41Speaker 10: The viewers here just saw the clip Joe Biden called
- 13:44Speaker 10: half of America garbage.
- 13:45Speaker 4: This is actually worse.
- 13:47Speaker 10: This is considerably worse, in my opinion than the infamous
- 13:50Speaker 10: Hillary Clinton basket of deplorables gaff from eight years ago.
- 13:54Speaker 10: I mean, this is a Freudian slip, frankly, if there
- 13:57Speaker 10: ever were one. This is what they think of us.
- 13:59Speaker 10: They have said it over and over and over again.
- 14:02Speaker 10: Joe Biden had a reprehensible speech over our holiday labor
- 14:05Speaker 10: Dight weekend in September twenty twenty two. The speech that
- 14:08Speaker 10: had dare I say the naziesque red lighting in the
- 14:12Speaker 10: background at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, blanked by US mareens
- 14:15Speaker 10: at both sides, saying that MAGA is an existential threat
- 14:18Speaker 10: there they think that we are of the threat, not
- 14:21Speaker 10: just Donald Trump, all of us and what I've been
- 14:23Speaker 10: calling in my supporters over these past twenty four hours
- 14:25Speaker 10: to do, read my audience, whatnot there is to get
- 14:28Speaker 10: out there with your vote this Tuesday, November fifth, and
- 14:31Speaker 10: prove to them that you are not garbage, rather that
- 14:34Speaker 10: you and I and all of us are the actual
- 14:36Speaker 10: ones who control our own destiny in this still free
- 14:38Speaker 10: United States.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Well, we've got Donald Trump using this saga to create
- 14:46Speaker 2: more iconic moments. He was taking the garbage jat not
- 14:50Speaker 2: the American people, the Democrat administration. There he is. He
- 14:54Speaker 2: said this at a rally in Wisconsin today.
- 14:58Speaker 6: I have to begin by saying, two hundred and fifty
- 15:01Speaker 6: million Americans are not garbage.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I thought we had the last of the iconic moments
- 15:10Speaker 2: in this campaign with that McDonald's episode, but now we've
- 15:15Speaker 2: got another one. You put this together with the assassination attempt,
- 15:20Speaker 2: what he did after that, getting up with the American
- 15:22Speaker 2: flag behind him. This campaign is unlike anything we've ever seen.
- 15:28Speaker 10: This whole presidential cycle is unlike anything we've ever seen.
- 15:31Speaker 10: I mean, I mean, for god knows how many reasons.
- 15:34Speaker 10: I mean, the Democrats pulled their horse mid rates. I
- 15:36Speaker 10: mean they pulled a coup right in front of her eyes,
- 15:38Speaker 10: swapping out Joe Biden for Kamala Harris, the garbage thing
- 15:42Speaker 10: in particular, Donald Trump doing this utter brilliant.
- 15:45Speaker 4: I mean, this is just pure showmanship.
- 15:48Speaker 10: This is why Donald Trump, rita at this point, is
- 15:52Speaker 10: not just a political figure. He is a simple He
- 15:55Speaker 10: is a tribute to the people. He is a cultural icon.
- 15:58Speaker 10: He frankly has been a cultural icon in many ways,
- 16:01Speaker 10: especially in New York City circles for forty fifty years now,
- 16:05Speaker 10: I mean for a very long time. That's part of
- 16:06Speaker 10: the reason why he was so politically successful in the
- 16:08Speaker 10: first place. But he has a knack for showmanship. The
- 16:12Speaker 10: guy was the host of The Apprentice. He knows how
- 16:14Speaker 10: to put on a show for the audience. And most
- 16:16Speaker 10: important above all, as I wrote in my column after
- 16:19Speaker 10: the McDonald's photo off which you mentioned there, Donald Trump's instincts,
- 16:23Speaker 10: his sensibilities, his concerns, his values are not with his
- 16:27Speaker 10: fellow billionaires for a long time now. They have always
- 16:30Speaker 10: been with the working people of America. He was actually
- 16:33Speaker 10: always a skeptic of globalism, going back to the nineteen nineties.
- 16:36Speaker 10: He was a supporter of ross Puro's Reform Party at
- 16:39Speaker 10: a time when their skepticism of things like NATA was deeply,
- 16:43Speaker 10: deeply unpopular with his fellow ultra millionaires and billionaires in
- 16:46Speaker 10: New York City. His sympathies, his sentiments, his sensibilities have
- 16:50Speaker 10: always always been with the forgotten man in America. And
- 16:55Speaker 10: ultimately read it, I think it is things like this,
- 16:57Speaker 10: and it's things like McDonald's, things like that iconic image
- 17:00Speaker 10: Pennsylvania that are ultimately going to carry him to a
- 17:02Speaker 10: victory this Tuesday.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Now, Josh, We've always known this, but here is confirmation
- 17:09Speaker 2: that the FBI knew Hunter Biden's laptop was real, it
- 17:14Speaker 2: wasn't Russian disinformation, and the IRS whistleblowers who have come forward,
- 17:19Speaker 2: Gary Shapeley and Joseph Ziegler, have told veteran journalists Catherine
- 17:24Speaker 2: Hedridge in an interview that the IRS, FBI, and the
- 17:29Speaker 2: Department of Justice knew the laptop was not Russian disinformation
- 17:34Speaker 2: and they were banned from investigating it before the twenty
- 17:38Speaker 2: twenty election. Here's just some of that interview. There was
- 17:41Speaker 2: no question in your mind the big guy was Joe Biden.
- 17:45Speaker 1: We corroborated the big guy of s Joe Bonius.
- 17:48Speaker 11: We knew that the laptop was real. Doj knew that
- 17:51Speaker 11: the laptop was real.
- 17:53Speaker 9: FBI knew the laptop was real.
- 17:54Speaker 11: There were a lot of over investigative steps that we
- 17:58Speaker 11: were not allowed to take because we had an upcoming election.
- 18:01Speaker 12: When we were doing the interviews, the prosecutors specifically told
- 18:06Speaker 12: us that they didn't want to ask about the big
- 18:08Speaker 12: guy because they knew it was Joe Biden.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Just incredible to have these bodies, the IRS, Department of Justice,
- 18:17Speaker 2: the FBI. We saw those former intelligence chiefs coming out
- 18:22Speaker 2: before the twenty twenty election and saying, this laptop, the
- 18:26Speaker 2: contents of it are Russian disinformation. This is election interference, Josh,
- 18:31Speaker 2: I can't see it in any other way. They knew
- 18:34Speaker 2: how damaging this was for the Biden camp, and they
- 18:38Speaker 2: tried to bury it, and they succeeded in burying it
- 18:41Speaker 2: and discrediting it completely.
- 18:46Speaker 10: No, they absolutely succeeded, frankly, in doing all the above.
- 18:50Speaker 10: I mean, the way that they took it down from
- 18:51Speaker 10: social media was definitely a de facto ban, if nothing
- 18:54Speaker 10: else there. So look what happened with the Hunter Biden
- 18:57Speaker 10: New York Post story back in October of twenty twenty
- 19:01Speaker 10: is you have the Biden campaign basically immediately get on
- 19:05Speaker 10: the phone with the FBI, get the phone with Jack Dorsey,
- 19:08Speaker 10: who at that time was leading Twitter with Mark Zuckerberg
- 19:10Speaker 10: over at Facebook Meta whatever we're calling it these days there,
- 19:14Speaker 10: and they immediately were able to get these fifty one
- 19:16Speaker 10: deep state spooks, people like Brennan and Clapper and all
- 19:20Speaker 10: the rest of those folks, to put out this letter
- 19:22Speaker 10: saying that it was rushing disinformation. But here is a
- 19:25Speaker 10: very important factory that a lot of people don't know
- 19:28Speaker 10: or don't remember. When it comes to that fifty one
- 19:31Speaker 10: deep State spook letter that came out within twenty four
- 19:33Speaker 10: to forty eight hours. Do you know who the Biden
- 19:35Speaker 10: campaign staffer was who was responsible for orchestrating that entire operation.
- 19:40Speaker 10: It was a foreign policy staffer by the name of
- 19:42Speaker 10: Anthony Blincoln, who happens to be the current US Secretary
- 19:45Speaker 10: of statean Now, last I checked there, So I mean,
- 19:48Speaker 10: this whole thing has always just stunk from top to bottom.
- 19:51Speaker 10: Of course, we knew, of course, we knew that the
- 19:53Speaker 10: laptop was actually legitimate. We knew it because there was
- 19:57Speaker 10: just ample empirical evidence available to anyone.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Who cares to look at that time.
- 20:01Speaker 10: The worst thing about this, in my opinion, is that
- 20:04Speaker 10: there have never been any consequences for it. Rather, what
- 20:06Speaker 10: happened was two years three years later, in twenty two,
- 20:09Speaker 10: twenty twenty three, you saw albuts like the New York
- 20:11Speaker 10: Times CBS News that somewhere like eight to nine paragraphs
- 20:15Speaker 10: into a story. This is what CBS News did. They
- 20:17Speaker 10: casually drop the paragraph deep in the weeds of his
- 20:19Speaker 10: lengthy article, saying, oh, by the way, the laptop at
- 20:22Speaker 10: this point has been acknowledged to be real, no kidding.
- 20:24Speaker 10: The federal prosecutors actually invoked it at Hunter Biden's gun
- 20:29Speaker 10: trial in Delaware this summer.
- 20:31Speaker 4: They used it as evidence.
- 20:32Speaker 10: So not only is it not disinformation, now it's evidence
- 20:35Speaker 10: for the for the federal government.
- 20:37Speaker 4: I mean, it's just so crazy.
- 20:39Speaker 10: Unfortunately, but you know here in America, whether it comes
- 20:41Speaker 10: to the laptop, whether it comes to COVID nineteen, the
- 20:44Speaker 10: Wuhan lab. Unfortunately, just the people that really really really
- 20:48Speaker 10: messed up, we have to get used to fat that
- 20:50Speaker 10: there are not going to be repercussions.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Unfortunate, And just a little bit more on that saga,
- 20:57Speaker 2: a report by the House Judiciary Cantee It's a subcommittee,
- 21:02Speaker 2: revealed that the FBI misled social media giants and how
- 21:08Speaker 2: willing the social media giants were to be misled. The
- 21:12Speaker 2: likes of Facebook and Twitter at the time, they were
- 21:15Speaker 2: quite happy to censor their users, including The New York Post,
- 21:18Speaker 2: which had its accounts suspended and Josh. Facebook executives even
- 21:23Speaker 2: discussed making decisions about censorship to curry favor with what
- 21:29Speaker 2: they assumed would be then coming Biden Harris administration. They
- 21:33Speaker 2: thought there was going to be a change at the
- 21:36Speaker 2: White House, and they wanted to be in the good books.
- 21:41Speaker 10: Yeah, you know, unfortunately all of this confirms what many
- 21:45Speaker 10: of us immediately suspected at that time. So just to
- 21:48Speaker 10: put a little more context on this, because this was
- 21:50Speaker 10: a shocking story when it happened, you know, hence we're
- 21:52Speaker 10: still talking about it now four years later. So this
- 21:55Speaker 10: habit of memory serves is right around October fifteenth. October sixteen,
- 21:58Speaker 10: there was about two and a half weeks before the
- 22:01Speaker 10: twenty twenty presidential election. The New York Post has this
- 22:03Speaker 10: bombshell store. The New York Post, which last I checked
- 22:06Speaker 10: was America's fourth largest newspaper in circulation, was literally founded
- 22:09Speaker 10: by Alexander Hamilton, one of our great family fathers that.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Has a very rich heritage here. So they put out
- 22:14Speaker 4: this story.
- 22:15Speaker 10: They were literally Twitter immediately banned you from posting it
- 22:19Speaker 10: or privately sharing it in your DMS, in your private messages.
- 22:22Speaker 10: Facebook heavily, they heavily suppressed it. If you posted it, it
- 22:26Speaker 10: would essentially be algorithmically put way way way down in
- 22:30Speaker 10: your social media fees. There and yeah, of course they
- 22:33Speaker 10: were doing it to curry favor. But one of the
- 22:35Speaker 10: most abominable parts of this and the reason why it
- 22:39Speaker 10: is so relevant, is because a rather high percentage of Americans,
- 22:44Speaker 10: or at least a non negligible a serious percentage of
- 22:46Speaker 10: Americans at that time told pollsters that if they had
- 22:50Speaker 10: known the full details of this story, they actually would
- 22:53Speaker 10: have changed their vote from Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump.
- 22:56Speaker 10: The data that I saw. The data that I saw
- 22:58Speaker 10: was that I think was sixteen percent. Sixteen percent of
- 23:01Speaker 10: Hillary Clinton voters, when subsequently informed about this story, said
- 23:06Speaker 10: oh wow, I by none that it would have over Trump.
- 23:08Speaker 10: That probably would have till the election. Reader, And that
- 23:10Speaker 10: is why many of us continue to say that, yeah, sorry.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, it was a significant percentage who said it
- 23:22Speaker 2: would have changed their vote. And when we talk about
- 23:26Speaker 2: election interference, that's why we say what happened with that story,
- 23:31Speaker 2: that bombshell story is a clear case of election interference. Josh,
- 23:35Speaker 2: do you see any examples of election interference in the
- 23:39Speaker 2: current campaign or are we gonna not know about it
- 23:43Speaker 2: for a couple of years. Do we normally find out
- 23:46Speaker 2: when it's too late? I would argue the media trying
- 23:50Speaker 2: to rebat brand Kamala Harris before our eyes. That you
- 23:55Speaker 2: could characterize that as election interference.
- 24:00Speaker 4: You definitely could, in my opinion.
- 24:01Speaker 10: The most blatant election interference, though, is the lawfairs, the
- 24:04Speaker 10: criminal prosecutions that we are currently seeing against Donald Trump
- 24:07Speaker 10: is unpresented attempt to incarcerate your political enemy, former ever
- 24:12Speaker 10: House future president of the United States. I mean everything
- 24:15Speaker 10: that we have seen here. I mean Jack Smith, who
- 24:18Speaker 10: is the DOJ's alleged special council. I say allegedly because
- 24:21Speaker 10: he's actually been held to not be ablegitimate special council,
- 24:24Speaker 10: but the alleged special council who was prosecuting Donald Trump
- 24:27Speaker 10: in both Florida and Washington d C. Read Over the
- 24:29Speaker 10: past few weeks, he has been fighting like a madman
- 24:32Speaker 10: in Judge Tanya Chukin's Washington DC core room to make
- 24:35Speaker 10: sure that his new one hundred and sixty five page
- 24:38Speaker 10: January sixth related brief gets out there publicly, which he
- 24:42Speaker 10: successfully did. It is out there. It was kind of
- 24:44Speaker 10: a nothing burger, actually, in a bit of a letdown.
- 24:46Speaker 10: But the reason the reason that he wanted that brief
- 24:49Speaker 10: to get out there is because that's their election pitch,
- 24:52Speaker 10: their election pitch on the ballots is that Trump is
- 24:54Speaker 10: a fascist, Nazi, Mussolini, stallin whatever, and that January sixth
- 24:58Speaker 10: was like the worst day in deocracy since.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Pearl Harbor War of eighteen twelve. I don't even know there,
- 25:04Speaker 4: you know.
- 25:04Speaker 10: And they have so little ability to actually think about
- 25:08Speaker 10: what's going on here that they don't realize. I don't
- 25:11Speaker 10: think that what Jacksmith is doing with the law fare well,
- 25:13Speaker 10: the Democrats are doing is in direct violation of the
- 25:16Speaker 10: Department of Justice's own Internal Justice Manual. There's a provision,
- 25:20Speaker 10: it's I believe it's eighty eighty five h nine point
- 25:23Speaker 10: five hundred. Do I have the number of correpty there
- 25:25Speaker 10: that specifically says that on the eve of any kind
- 25:28Speaker 10: of election, if there is even the perceived public effect,
- 25:31Speaker 10: the perceived public effect of a prosecutorial decision putting a
- 25:35Speaker 10: thumb on the scale or told the election, a prosecutor
- 25:38Speaker 10: shall stand down and shall not do anything. That was
- 25:41Speaker 10: actually one of the reasons that Jim Comey back in
- 25:43Speaker 10: twenty sixteen said that he would not recommend charges to
- 25:46Speaker 10: Hillary Clinton. But apparently what's good for the goose back
- 25:48Speaker 10: then is no longer good for the gander when the
- 25:50Speaker 10: gander has the identity of Donald.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Trump bad doing everything they can and they're getting increasingly
- 25:59Speaker 2: this disc for it because the polls have shifted, particularly
- 26:02Speaker 2: in those crucial swing states. And just a ten second answer,
- 26:07Speaker 2: if I could Kamala Harris, should she do Joe Rogan?
- 26:11Speaker 2: It looks like she's not going to meet his requirements
- 26:14Speaker 2: because he wants her in the studio three hours, just
- 26:17Speaker 2: like Donald Trump did, and it looks like Jade Vance
- 26:19Speaker 2: might take the spot.
- 26:23Speaker 10: Honestly, I do not think Kamal Harris should do Joe Rogan.
- 26:25Speaker 10: I mean, I cannot imagine her talking for three hours reader.
- 26:28Speaker 10: That seems like a total disaster in the making. If
- 26:31Speaker 10: I were her, I would frankly probably skip it. I
- 26:33Speaker 10: mean morally, morally is the correct thing to do. He's
- 26:35Speaker 10: got a massive platform, but for her own sake politically,
- 26:39Speaker 10: no one wants to see.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Her get these words salads for three hours. We really
- 26:41Speaker 4: none wants to see that.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Josh Hamma, thanks for your time this evening. Thank you,
- 26:47Speaker 2: rider still to come. Lefty is losing it. Plus Kosha
- 26:52Speaker 2: Gator joins me, and we'll look at one of the
- 26:54Speaker 2: creepier political ads you've ever seen. Welcome back. Now it's
- 27:07Speaker 2: time for left his losing it and fresh from calling
- 27:10Speaker 2: half the country human garbage and then pretending he never
- 27:13Speaker 2: said it, the leader of the Free World, President Joe Biden,
- 27:16Speaker 2: went back to doing what he does best, sniffing babies
- 27:20Speaker 2: and biting babies. Now too, he's gone from putting his
- 27:23Speaker 2: foot in his mouth to putting baby feet in his mouth.
- 27:38Speaker 2: He's putting the whole thing in his mouth multiple times.
- 27:41Speaker 2: My gosh, and he wasn't done yet. He spotted another baby. Oh,
- 27:55Speaker 2: there you go. He's back to sniffing them, back to
- 27:58Speaker 2: doing what is most comfortable with, totally normal behavior. Meanwhile,
- 28:02Speaker 2: the Veep, the woman who wants to be leader of
- 28:04Speaker 2: the free world, is out there viewing the most outrageous lies.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Here she is in Pennsylvania earlier today.
- 28:11Speaker 7: And look, Donald Trump's not done. He would ban abortion nationwide, yes,
- 28:17Speaker 7: even here in Pennsylvania.
- 28:19Speaker 4: If he were successful.
- 28:22Speaker 7: He would restrict access to birth control, put IVF treatments
- 28:28Speaker 7: at risk, and force states to monitor women's pregnancies.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Lies. Lies, lies, lies, lies, and she lies with the
- 28:38Speaker 2: comfort of knowing the bulk of the media will let
- 28:41Speaker 2: her get away with it. Meanwhile, Trump is turning Biden's
- 28:44Speaker 2: comments and the democrats hysteria into another iconic campaign moment.
- 28:50Speaker 6: How do you like my garbage shuck? This truck is
- 28:53Speaker 6: an ardor of Kamala and Joe Baden.
- 28:56Speaker 2: He then answered questions from the truck press conference more
- 29:01Speaker 2: robust press conference than Kamala faces. And then he said
- 29:05Speaker 2: this to a rally at Wisconsin today.
- 29:08Speaker 6: Two hundred and fifty million Americans are not garbage.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Let's do more lefties losing it with my next guest
- 29:18Speaker 2: guy News contributor Kosher Gator. Kosher. Let's have a look
- 29:21Speaker 2: at some of the absurd lengths the media has gone
- 29:24Speaker 2: to in order to excuse or try to cover up
- 29:26Speaker 2: Joe Biden's comments calling half the country garbage. Here is
- 29:30Speaker 2: CNN blaming a stutter.
- 29:32Speaker 12: Joe Biden has never been a big arena speaker. He's
- 29:35Speaker 12: never been the most fluid speaker.
- 29:36Speaker 1: And by the way, as.
- 29:37Speaker 12: Someone who had a starter growing up, it's very obvious
- 29:40Speaker 12: to me there's an apostrophe at the end of supporters there.
- 29:42Speaker 12: He was referring to be garbage viewed by supporters, not
- 29:45Speaker 12: simply the supporters themselves.
- 29:47Speaker 2: It was a stutter. He's not good with words. Really,
- 29:50Speaker 2: and not to be outdone, we had this from the
- 29:52Speaker 2: Ladies of the View. Here is Whoopy Goldberg, who seems
- 29:56Speaker 2: to be in a permanent state of hysteria nowadays.
- 30:00Speaker 13: Understand why all the pearl clutching over Biden's statement, Why
- 30:05Speaker 13: they all have a problem with what Biden said, when
- 30:09Speaker 13: what this other guy has said?
- 30:12Speaker 2: D vance, No, I'm.
- 30:13Speaker 10: Going to the comedian.
- 30:15Speaker 4: No, no, I'm going to.
- 30:18Speaker 6: Make a garbage can. You know, it's the first time
- 30:22Speaker 6: I've ever said that we're like a garbage can, were
- 30:26Speaker 6: like a garbage can. It's like we're a giant garbage can.
- 30:30Speaker 13: Yeah, he's talking about country, the country, the entire garbageulation.
- 30:36Speaker 2: He's talking about the country, the entire population. That's what
- 30:39Speaker 2: they claim in Kosher. Wasn't he talking about the fact
- 30:43Speaker 2: that unchecked illegal immigration is saying thousands of criminals flood
- 30:48Speaker 2: the country and treat the country like a garbage can.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Isn't that kind of a fairly important context?
- 30:53Speaker 14: Add there absolutely, But honestly, with the Ladies of the View,
- 30:57Speaker 14: I don't know if he genuinely understood that or don't
- 30:59Speaker 14: understand it, But then American people understand it. This is
- 31:01Speaker 14: why immigration is a top two issue, and everybody sees
- 31:04Speaker 14: the numbers, everybody sees the very tragic, sad anecdotes, and
- 31:07Speaker 14: everybody knows what it means. The mental gymnastics that they
- 31:10Speaker 14: and the other guy on CNN are going through to
- 31:12Speaker 14: try and describe this is really it's funny, I think
- 31:16Speaker 14: because of what happened forty eight hours before, where they
- 31:18Speaker 14: were making a big deal out of trash and then
- 31:20Speaker 14: literally the cold has.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Come out and disowned it. Now now I think realized, no,
- 31:25Speaker 2: a bount of media cover is going to limit damage,
- 31:29Speaker 2: so she's distanced herself. Is Joe Biden doing this on purpose?
- 31:33Speaker 2: Is he trying to hurt the Harris camp? This is
- 31:35Speaker 2: a question.
- 31:35Speaker 14: Who knows what's in his mind? You know, it could
- 31:37Speaker 14: be sabotage, It could be letting the masks slip, which
- 31:41Speaker 14: is what the other side is making hay of. You know,
- 31:43Speaker 14: we started with the basket of deplorables, which was an
- 31:45Speaker 14: inflection point in Hillary's campaign, to fascists and garbage, and
- 31:49Speaker 14: maybe there is some real belief there as well.
- 31:52Speaker 8: Well.
- 31:52Speaker 2: This is what I just don't understand. Anybody could question
- 31:57Speaker 2: that this is how democrats and the left see Republicans
- 32:02Speaker 2: see Trump supporters, because we just heard days of them
- 32:06Speaker 2: characterizing people who attended the rallied Madison Square Guarden as
- 32:10Speaker 2: being fascist, being supporting some sort of a Nazi rally.
- 32:14Speaker 2: So if you think people are Nazis and fascists and
- 32:16Speaker 2: white supremacist, well of course you think they're garbage if
- 32:19Speaker 2: that's for your worldview. And I think this is why
- 32:23Speaker 2: they're having such trouble hiding this or trying to spin it.
- 32:28Speaker 14: They put themselves in a box because they want to
- 32:31Speaker 14: say that he's hilarian and fascist, but then simultaneously say
- 32:34Speaker 14: his supporters aren't. I think Brett Behar had asked Kamlas specifically, like, oh,
- 32:38Speaker 14: why are millions tens of millions of people supporting him?
- 32:40Speaker 14: Do you think they're stupid? And she didn't take that beach.
- 32:42Speaker 14: She said no, no, I would never say that about
- 32:44Speaker 14: American people. And now she's in a box where she
- 32:46Speaker 14: has to admit it.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Now the mainstream meter in the US maybe waking up
- 32:51Speaker 2: to reality. An anonymous TV exec has told The New
- 32:55Speaker 2: York magazine that and I quote, if half the country
- 32:58Speaker 2: has decided that Trump is qualified to be president, that
- 33:02Speaker 2: means they're not reading any of this media and we've
- 33:05Speaker 2: lost this audience completely. A Trump victory means mainstream media
- 33:10Speaker 2: is dead in its current form. Now, this was actually
- 33:15Speaker 2: kosher part of a piece that was lamenting the leftist
- 33:19Speaker 2: media's declining influence in American politics. It was a pretty
- 33:25Speaker 2: terrible piece, if you asked me, but that bit of
- 33:27Speaker 2: insight was very good indeed, and it's accurate because people
- 33:34Speaker 2: have lost faith in the media, and there's a surveys
- 33:38Speaker 2: that show that trust in the media in the US
- 33:41Speaker 2: is that historic low. Is only one in ten Republicans
- 33:44Speaker 2: have any faith in the mainstream media, and a really
- 33:48Speaker 2: tiny number less than three in ten independents. And I
- 33:52Speaker 2: think that's what's really hurting the Democrats.
- 33:54Speaker 14: Yes, the surveys that there, I think is lower than Congress.
- 33:58Speaker 14: There are approval reading people talk about Whiche's something he
- 34:01Speaker 14: is right and that inside but it came so late,
- 34:05Speaker 14: like two decades so late for him to say that,
- 34:07Speaker 14: and he has to hide behind anonymity, so he's whoever
- 34:09Speaker 14: this person is. I kind of feel bad for the
- 34:11Speaker 14: guy that he can't come out and put his name
- 34:13Speaker 14: on it. I think there's a little bit of a
- 34:15Speaker 14: preference cascade happening in this election with people who never
- 34:18Speaker 14: would have openly supported Trump, high profile people doing so.
- 34:22Speaker 14: And when we saw Jeff Bezos and the Washington Post
- 34:24Speaker 14: come out and do that, and the LA Times and
- 34:27Speaker 14: USA today, it's giving permission, maybe anonymously to some of them,
- 34:31Speaker 14: but it's giving him permission to come and face the music,
- 34:33Speaker 14: because he's right. You can't really run a business if
- 34:36Speaker 14: half the country is completely against what you're selling.
- 34:39Speaker 2: At least half the country. But the realization seems to
- 34:43Speaker 2: be fairly shallow because they just realize we have a problem.
- 34:47Speaker 2: They don't understand why they don't understand why they're so
- 34:49Speaker 2: disconnected from half the country, why they're so desperately out
- 34:53Speaker 2: of touch and almost proudly out of touch with much
- 34:56Speaker 2: of the country. Now, let's have a look at this
- 35:00Speaker 2: from Robert F. Kennedy's team. This is in response to
- 35:04Speaker 2: Kamala Harris's campaign to drum up will support among mal voters.
- 35:09Speaker 9: Dear Kamala Harris, Let's get one thing crystal clear. The
- 35:14Speaker 9: vast majority of American men have no issue with the
- 35:17Speaker 9: electing a female president. Our issue blay solely with you.
- 35:24Speaker 9: You were second in charge of California for thirteen years.
- 35:27Speaker 10: As California's Attorney General, Harris promoted enforcement of a law
- 35:32Speaker 10: that allowed prosecutors to seek jail time for parents of
- 35:35Speaker 10: truant kids.
- 35:36Speaker 12: I opened the door and I see at least seven
- 35:39Speaker 12: or eight cops that wanted to arrest me.
- 35:41Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, they did.
- 35:42Speaker 5: They went over there, and I said, when you go
- 35:44Speaker 5: over there, look really mean.
- 35:45Speaker 15: She had me arrested and prosecuted because my handicapped garter
- 35:50Speaker 15: was sick in the hospital and had miss some days
- 35:53Speaker 15: of school.
- 35:54Speaker 5: I learned that with the swipe of my pen I
- 35:58Speaker 5: could charge someone.
- 36:00Speaker 2: With the lowest level of fense.
- 36:02Speaker 7: That person could be arrested.
- 36:04Speaker 5: They could lose time from work and their family, maybe
- 36:06Speaker 5: lose their job. They'd have to come out of their
- 36:08Speaker 5: own pocket to help hire a lawyer.
- 36:11Speaker 7: They lose standing in their community.
- 36:13Speaker 15: I lost my job and couldn't pay rent, and we
- 36:17Speaker 15: got evicted.
- 36:19Speaker 7: Weeks later.
- 36:19Speaker 5: I could dismiss the charges, but their life would forever
- 36:23Speaker 5: be changed.
- 36:24Speaker 15: I became homeless, we had to move into a motel
- 36:27Speaker 15: all because of the swipe of my pen.
- 36:30Speaker 14: I don't agree what Kamala Harris did to my mom,
- 36:33Speaker 14: and I don't agree with what she's done to other
- 36:36Speaker 14: parents as well.
- 36:37Speaker 9: You were second in charge at the United States for
- 36:39Speaker 9: four years.
- 36:40Speaker 15: If anything, would you have done something differently than President
- 36:44Speaker 15: Biden during the past four years.
- 36:47Speaker 5: There is not a thing that comes to mind in
- 36:49Speaker 5: terms of and I've been a part of most.
- 36:53Speaker 7: Of the decisions that have had impact Karsha.
- 36:56Speaker 2: That's a powerful ad her record as a prosecutor, herord
- 37:00Speaker 2: as VP, as the borders are, all of it is
- 37:03Speaker 2: working against her. And that was a real reminder of
- 37:06Speaker 2: what happened in California because the Maydia is not telling
- 37:10Speaker 2: us about it.
- 37:11Speaker 14: Absolutely, it's a reminder and it's probably even educational for
- 37:13Speaker 14: so many people who don't know that much about her,
- 37:15Speaker 14: because her strategy clearly has been to avoid it and
- 37:19Speaker 14: either at first it was Vibes and then it was
- 37:21Speaker 14: Joy and then it was Trump as Hitler. But it's
- 37:23Speaker 14: never actually been about her record other than to just
- 37:25Speaker 14: hout the fact that I was Attorney general of the
- 37:27Speaker 14: largest state in the country. Nothing beyond that. What was
- 37:29Speaker 14: really interesting about it is they were going after truancy,
- 37:32Speaker 14: which is prosecuting parents for choosing not to send their
- 37:34Speaker 14: kids to school for any number of reasons. That comes
- 37:37Speaker 14: across as very callous for the parental vote and maybe
- 37:40Speaker 14: women I think she's going after that, and also the
- 37:42Speaker 14: words that she was using, like you know, with the
- 37:44Speaker 14: stroke of my pen, I can put you away out
- 37:46Speaker 14: in your life. It was almost brung on Power Watch.
- 37:49Speaker 2: The full ad, we played a fair chunk of it,
- 37:51Speaker 2: but it's actually longer than that. You actually hear talk
- 37:54Speaker 2: about why she did this, and it wasn't to get
- 37:56Speaker 2: kids to school. That wasn't the number one objective. It
- 37:58Speaker 2: was for the funding because California was losing funding because
- 38:02Speaker 2: of the truancy and it was a significant amount, and
- 38:06Speaker 2: she said, I want I want that money. So the
- 38:09Speaker 2: full ad is just quite devastating. But we've also got
- 38:13Speaker 2: ads like this. This one encourages women to lie to
- 38:17Speaker 2: their husbands about how they're voting. This is one that's
- 38:22Speaker 2: encouraging them to vote for Kamala, lie to their husbands.
- 38:26Speaker 2: And really what's insightful about this ad is how the
- 38:29Speaker 2: left sea women.
- 38:33Speaker 16: Your current honey, in the one place in America where
- 38:36Speaker 16: women still have a right to choose, you can vote
- 38:42Speaker 16: anywhere you want and no one will ever know.
- 38:50Speaker 14: Did you make the right choice?
- 38:51Speaker 16: She it in, honey, Remember what happens in the booth,
- 38:55Speaker 16: stays in the booth, So Harris was kosher.
- 39:00Speaker 2: It's kind of a funny ad. But the way they
- 39:03Speaker 2: see women, particularly women married to conservative men, it's almost
- 39:08Speaker 2: a caricature.
- 39:09Speaker 14: It is a characacter. And you're right, it was funny.
- 39:11Speaker 14: And abortion is a very animating issue for the Democrat beast.
- 39:14Speaker 10: They love that issue.
- 39:15Speaker 14: It is motivating them to come out. That's one of
- 39:18Speaker 14: the things if the election does go in Comla's fear,
- 39:20Speaker 14: it's going to come down to women and that issue.
- 39:22Speaker 14: So they're clearly touching on that. But then to a point,
- 39:24Speaker 14: the whole message of saying, hey, lie to your husbands,
- 39:27Speaker 14: I think that's going to backfire, especially with married women.
- 39:30Speaker 14: Like there's just something tacky about it.
- 39:32Speaker 2: The dynamic between the husbands and wives there was just
- 39:35Speaker 2: so kind of creepy and like the men seemed like losers,
- 39:40Speaker 2: like losers but almost you know, that whole toxic masculinity
- 39:44Speaker 2: air that the left seems obsessed with. It really just
- 39:49Speaker 2: painted everybody so poorly. It's like, why would you want
- 39:52Speaker 2: to identify with that? That's not going to encourage you
- 39:56Speaker 2: to change your behavior.
- 39:57Speaker 3: We're negative.
- 39:58Speaker 14: Overall, it just was a negativepproached to family, to marriage,
- 40:01Speaker 14: to women, to all of it. So I don't think
- 40:03Speaker 14: it's going to work.
- 40:04Speaker 2: That it was a strange one. We've seen some strange
- 40:07Speaker 2: ads in this campaign, but who knows it may be effective. Koshigata,
- 40:11Speaker 2: thank you so much for your time still to come
- 40:15Speaker 2: as celebrity endorsements doing more harm than good for the
- 40:19Speaker 2: Harris Wolf's team. Kinsey Schofield, he has all the details.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Welcome back. Joining me now is celebrity and royal commentator
- 40:36Speaker 2: Kinsey Schofield. Kinsey Trump's VP pick. JD. Vans has appeared
- 40:41Speaker 2: on comedians Bond's hugely popular podcast and he's got a
- 40:47Speaker 2: lot of praise for this. He was labeled weird and
- 40:50Speaker 2: out of touch, but he really just showed that he's
- 40:54Speaker 2: a likable guy.
- 40:57Speaker 17: But Delta selling zembic black market off out of side
- 41:00Speaker 17: of vineyard vines.
- 41:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna have nightmares.
- 41:02Speaker 17: They call it frozempic, but I you know, I like worry.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Okay.
- 41:06Speaker 17: So America has a terrible obastie problem. Okay, And I'm
- 41:09Speaker 17: not look, I'm not a doctor. I'm not telling if
- 41:11Speaker 17: your doctor tells you to take ozempic, follow your doctor's
- 41:13Speaker 17: advice not.
- 41:14Speaker 18: You know what you're hearing on Audiencetic, I don't mind it.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I'm not a big reason guy. Yeah, you like reasons.
- 41:22Speaker 18: I like, I mean, I like grapes that have been
- 41:24Speaker 18: through something.
- 41:25Speaker 1: You know. It's just who I am, you know. But
- 41:27Speaker 1: uh so, yeah, I guess I do like you know.
- 41:31Speaker 2: But the podcast was an all lighthearted They also discussed
- 41:34Speaker 2: some serious issues, including discussing jd Vance's mom's addiction problems.
- 41:41Speaker 18: Your mom struggled with alcoholism, right, mostly non alcoholics.
- 41:44Speaker 17: I never saw her, you know, drink that much pillsoids when.
- 41:49Speaker 1: When mom was in the worst of it.
- 41:51Speaker 17: Yeah, there was some danger there, but it wasn't nearly
- 41:53Speaker 17: as deadly as the stuff that's out there today.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the poison that we've got in the streets
- 41:58Speaker 1: now is so dangerous.
- 41:59Speaker 18: But it's also sad that somebody, you know, you can't
- 42:02Speaker 18: even do paine in this country anymore, you know. And
- 42:06Speaker 18: that seemed like a crazy thing to say, And they'll
- 42:09Speaker 18: say it, they'll say that, but I said, I'm going
- 42:11Speaker 18: to steal that lawrant the two how.
- 42:13Speaker 2: A chat was hugely entertaining, insightful. What did you think
- 42:18Speaker 2: of a Ginsey?
- 42:20Speaker 8: I mean, to me, JD. Vance is whatever the opposite
- 42:24Speaker 8: of weird is. I think weird is tampon's and boys bathrooms.
- 42:28Speaker 8: I think weird is.
- 42:29Speaker 19: Lying about your your history in the military.
- 42:33Speaker 8: But JD's story, especially about his mother, a lot of
- 42:37Speaker 8: Americans are going, unfortunately, are going to listen to that
- 42:41Speaker 8: story and be able to relate to it. And it's
- 42:44Speaker 8: his story ultimately is a great story because look at
- 42:47Speaker 8: the man he's become today. I think out of all
- 42:50Speaker 8: four of them, JD. Vance is the most normal, and
- 42:55Speaker 8: I thought that he came off as a very likable
- 42:58Speaker 8: individual in that interview and I cannot wait to see
- 43:01Speaker 8: him on Joe Rogan.
- 43:04Speaker 2: Well, he's also got just such a beautiful family. His
- 43:08Speaker 2: wife is so accomplished, they have beautiful children, and I
- 43:13Speaker 2: heard described when he was picked that is one of
- 43:16Speaker 2: the few politicians who has a genuinely happy marriage and
- 43:21Speaker 2: likes his wife, which is not nice to hear. Now,
- 43:24Speaker 2: let's talk about Eric Trump's comments about Prince Harry. He says,
- 43:29Speaker 2: even though his father thinks Prince Harry betrayed the Royals
- 43:33Speaker 2: and possibly lied on his US visa application, that regardless
- 43:37Speaker 2: of that, Harry doesn't need to worry about being deported
- 43:40Speaker 2: if Donald Trump becomes a forty seventh president. Eric Trump
- 43:45Speaker 2: essentially said that Harry won't be deported because, well, Harry
- 43:50Speaker 2: and Megan are nonentities and nobody in America really cares
- 43:53Speaker 2: about them.
- 43:55Speaker 4: I mean, what a great answer.
- 43:57Speaker 8: You know, it amazes me that a year ago you
- 43:59Speaker 8: and I were having debates about whether or not Megan
- 44:03Speaker 8: Markle was going to run for office. In today we're
- 44:06Speaker 8: trying to decide when she might sell her first jar
- 44:10Speaker 8: of jam or appear on a Suit's Rewatch podcast. I
- 44:13Speaker 8: just can't comprehend this. I think we've given Harry and
- 44:17Speaker 8: Meghan way too much credit. So for Eric Trump to say, actually,
- 44:20Speaker 8: they're totally irrelevant. We're not worried about that. I can't
- 44:25Speaker 8: say that I've ever agreed with Eric Trump.
- 44:27Speaker 2: More now, comedian Jimmy Kimmel's attempt to convince Republicans to
- 44:34Speaker 2: turn against Trump. He did a nineteen minute anti Trump
- 44:39Speaker 2: tie rade. Well, some people are saying this is backfired
- 44:42Speaker 2: with views of his late night comedy show on ABC US.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Let's have a look at some of the responses. Once said,
- 44:50Speaker 2: I was on the fence, but since Hollywood elenks like
- 44:52Speaker 2: Jimmy Kimmel are supporting Harris. I'll cast a vote for Trump.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Another one said Kimmel fell off and has gone woke.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Another person posted, remember when Johnny Carson and Jay Leno
- 45:04Speaker 2: were host and it was all about class and entertainment.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Jimmy is a clown and all this MF does is
- 45:12Speaker 2: every for clipping night rip off on Trump. Do you
- 45:15Speaker 2: have any other material? Yikes? Switch channels and these late
- 45:20Speaker 2: night TV shows Kinsey used to be funny. Now they've
- 45:25Speaker 2: become so lame, so political. The audience is diminishing. They're
- 45:31Speaker 2: watching YouTube or Gutfeld on Fox News.
- 45:35Speaker 19: And do you remember how hateful people were when Jimmy
- 45:39Speaker 19: Fallon had the audacity to have Trump on his show.
- 45:42Speaker 19: I mean, you're allowed to lean one side, but certainly
- 45:45Speaker 19: not the other. I recently saw a pull that said
- 45:48Speaker 19: sixty percent of people do not want celebrity endorsements, and
- 45:52Speaker 19: twenty four percent of those people said that they are
- 45:55Speaker 19: more likely to vote for the other person if they
- 45:58Speaker 19: see a celebrity endorsement. So I do think that celebrities
- 46:01Speaker 19: need to be more conscious of those you know those statistics.
- 46:07Speaker 2: Well, yes, I think that a lot of times they're
- 46:09Speaker 2: doing the Democrats more harm than good. Now, let's talk
- 46:13Speaker 2: about Arnold Schwarzeneg, a celebrity who was also a politician.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Not surprisingly, he's endorsing Kamala Harris is a Californian. After all,
- 46:22Speaker 2: he posted on Elon Musk's ex that Trump presidency would
- 46:27Speaker 2: be four more years of bs with no results. That
- 46:32Speaker 2: makes us angry and angrier, more divided, and more hateful.
- 46:36Speaker 2: Didn't we just have four years of that right now? Kitsie?
- 46:39Speaker 2: Does he think Donald Trump's president right now?
- 46:43Speaker 8: Well, Donald Trump didn't just call half the country trash.
- 46:46Speaker 8: That was the senile old man that bit a baby
- 46:49Speaker 8: in a chicken costume tonight.
- 46:51Speaker 4: But what I will.
- 46:52Speaker 8: Say about Schwarzenegger, who actually was a Republican governor of
- 46:58Speaker 8: the state of California. So I think that's why they're like, oh,
- 47:00Speaker 8: he's voting Democrat. I really appreciate him taking a break
- 47:04Speaker 8: from banging his maid and impregnating her to give us
- 47:08Speaker 8: a piece of you know, a piece of information that
- 47:10Speaker 8: nobody asked for.
- 47:11Speaker 19: And maybe him and Doug, who also.
- 47:14Speaker 8: Impregnated the help can check some swaps and stories, maybe
- 47:18Speaker 8: some temp agency contacts.
- 47:20Speaker 4: I think it's great. I think he's found his new tribe.
- 47:24Speaker 2: You know what, I never thought i'd hear this set
- 47:27Speaker 2: about the US president bitter baby in a chicken costume tonight,
- 47:32Speaker 2: But that's precisely what happened. This is the world we
- 47:36Speaker 2: are living in, Kinsey Schofield. Maybe this time next week
- 47:39Speaker 2: it will be very different. Thank you for your time
- 47:42Speaker 2: this evening, and that's all the time we have tonight.
- 47:46Speaker 2: I'll see you tomorrow night. For Left, he's losing it
- 47:48Speaker 2: at nine point thirty up. Next is Newsnight.
