- 1:49the emails and calls and questions this morning and this week, Tim, let's
- 1:52talk to a little bit about the Healthy Place. One of the great things
- 1:55about the Healthy Place is you talk about I think you've described it as a
- 1:59hive's like the knowledge that you and the team at the Healthy Place share.
- 2:02You guys regularly meet. You've been doing this for a very very long time.
- 2:07You work with a lot of very knowledgeable people, and it's really all
- 2:09about bringing that information together to really help people live their best lives. Absolutely.
- 2:16You know, there is science and research all around the world going on
- 2:20every moment of every day advancing natural medicine and finding alternatives for people that work.
- 2:27And so our job is to have the ear to the ground and discover
- 2:30what is working good, better, best, and our expertise. You know,
- 2:34we don't pretend to be doctors or pharmacists, I love to say,
- 2:37but we know supplements really, really well. It is our expertise what brands
- 2:40are good, better, best, what forms of these nutrients are more absorbable
- 2:46creating a stronger and better result. And we are working with our community every
- 2:50day with all the issues that you might imagine. You know, there's a
- 2:53thousand health conditions and the most popular ones like chronic pain, stress, anxiety,
- 3:00depression. We have thousands of testimonies around. So we work as a
- 3:04team constantly refining our skill because man, there's still a lot of people suffering
- 3:08out there, a lot of people not living the full quality of life.
- 3:12And our mission is to discover you know, impact in power and educate every
- 3:15customer to learn, grow and create that lifelong foundation of health and wellness.
- 3:20And it's fun to do. As our wellness consultant Army is just after it.
- 3:24I mean, we do not give up. If there's a customer that
- 3:28there is a struggle that's not working, you know, hey, bring those
- 3:31items back. We have three more ideas that we'd like to try over the
- 3:35next six months to gain you some breakthrough because these people, Shane, they're
- 3:38stuck a lot of times, they're backed up against the wall, they're suffering,
- 3:42they're having a hard time, they're loved ones are suffering, and man,
- 3:46it's worth and it's so nice having somebody at your side, you know,
- 3:50so I encourage you if you're listening, you know, get a team
- 3:53around you. You know, you're the CEO of your own health. Get
- 3:55a team around you. And then get somebody in the supplement space that you
- 3:59really trust that can guide you because they help, they work. I see
- 4:01it every day. It's pretty amazing and it's a great opportunity this morning if
- 4:04you've got questions to get on the air. Six eight three two one thirteen
- 4:08ten. That's six O eight three two one thirteen ten online find your Healthy
- 4:12Place dot com. That's find your Healthy Place dot com. Three locations in
- 4:15the area for you, Fitchburg, Sun Prairie and the West side of Madison.
- 4:18Wellness consultants there for you as well, and again the phone lines are
- 4:21open. Six o eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six eight three
- 4:26two one thirteen ten. Got an email from Maria. Maria writes since she
- 4:30says, my mother discovered a lump at her breast not long ago. After
- 4:32consulting me with our physician, we were leaved to learn that it's a benign
- 4:36growth and though it's a bit sensitive to touch, doesn't cause her much discomfort.
- 4:41Are there any treatments or remedies that can reduce or possibly eliminate it?
- 4:45That email from Maria, Yeah, you know, first off, super glad
- 4:48that the lump is not a concern as far as fibrocystic. You know,
- 4:55studies reveal that about forty percent of women experienced fibrocystic breast alteration, so it's
- 5:01good to be aware that it's very common if it's you or a loved one.
- 5:06So though these changes aren't harmful, they totally can lead to discomfort,
- 5:11which is no fun. So iodine actually emerging emerges as like a key ingredient
- 5:15to address issues like this. Every cell in our body has a special spot
- 5:19for iodine due to its significance to our overall health. Iodine. There's iodine
- 5:26receptors all throughout the body and the amount of health that they bring in a
- 5:29number of areas is pretty cool. So over the years, iodine levels in
- 5:32many people drop. I mean, it's next to vitamin D as far as
- 5:35deficiencies go. It's like the forgotten mineral, and this leads to common deficiencies
- 5:41in both adults and children. And much of our iodine intake goes toward making
- 5:46thyroid hormones. So iodine has your various other positive effects that you want to
- 5:53be aware of. So when you have a lump in the breast that that
- 5:57that we want to diminish or minimize, Iodine is attracted to breasts, ovaries,
- 6:02prostate thyroid uterus and it eases the swelling, soreness, It uneases,
- 6:12helps with the fibristic breast changes, and in research that the sodium iodide and
- 6:16molecular iodine are the two more effective forms. So there's a number of products
- 6:23we sell on our website that would have these forms of iodine. I'll point
- 6:26you towards one called thyroid TLC, Marie, if you're listening, thyroid TLC.
- 6:31It has these better forms of iodine and then it strengthens your thyroid two
- 6:35with minerals like tyrosine, and so folks will notice a nice energy boost.
- 6:41They notice things like hair, skin and nails. But it'll give get after
- 6:44that lump that we want to get rid of some some good, good science,
- 6:46good research saying hey, it'll minimize the soreness, the swelling, et
- 6:49cetera. So I hope it works great to hear and keep us posted.
- 6:53Don't forget as well. If you've got a question, get down the air.
- 6:56This morting with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place telphen number six eight three
- 6:59two teen ten. That's six O eight three two one thirteen ten and Gary,
- 7:02who probably had a great, great, great time and his teenage years
- 7:08maybe paying for it a little bit this time as we get a little bit
- 7:12older. Gary, welcome to the program. You've got some issues with ringing
- 7:15in your ear, don't you. Yeah, I'm just sorting if you have
- 7:20anything or there is anything that would reduce or eliminated with the ideals kinetis or
- 7:28the ringing in your ears. You know, yep, yep. How long
- 7:31you've been battling that. It's been a while, multiple years. Yeah,
- 7:36it's it's terrible. I mean, it's frustrating, disruptive. It can be
- 7:40downright depressing and actually driving a little bit insane. Is it does it kind
- 7:45of peak? And does it have E been flows to it or is it
- 7:47about about the same twenty four seven. It's mainly in my right ear once
- 7:54somewhere I can notice it in my left ear, but there's definitely more noticeable
- 8:01times and then sometimes it'll fade a little bit. And I didn't know if
- 8:05there are certain foods that also started. Yeah, yep, you know.
- 8:09There's deficiencies that can be linked to this. It is a bear to battle.
- 8:15So what we do with customers is we'll bring up that which is most
- 8:18successful first, and then we'll remind them that, hey, there's a few
- 8:24different approaches that we should try in the coming six months to see which works
- 8:28best for you. I always love to encourage folks to get a blood draw
- 8:31to see if you have any deficiencies because there's so many health struggles that we
- 8:37face that a simple deficiency is connected to. So for your purposes, i'd
- 8:43encourage that just to discover if there is any deficiencies that you have going on,
- 8:48and then I'd bring three recommendations to you. So, ginkobloba is believed
- 8:52to increase the blood flow to the brain and has been studied extensively. Actually,
- 8:58for its potent, you'll to reduce tentatis symptoms, so that ringing in
- 9:01the ear. Zinc is perhaps the most important mineral. Zinc magnesium kind of
- 9:07tie when it comes to deficiencies in the body, because those deficiencies are common
- 9:13and that can be linked to tentatis in a number of studies. And then
- 9:18melatonin is the third one. So some studies suggest that melatonin may help with
- 9:22tentatis, especially if you're having trouble sleeping. So does it keep you up
- 9:28at all? Or not not so much? I'm sorry, I always does
- 9:31it keep you up at night? Or are you able to fall asleep?
- 9:35Okay, so I'm able to fall asleep. Okay, it's yeah, No,
- 9:41it drives your knots. I'd encourage you to pop in one of the
- 9:43stores, bring this up. Try a few of these you know, you
- 9:46might be thirty forty bucks all in these nutrients I mentioned. They're not expensive.
- 9:50You can try it for a couple of months. If it does not
- 9:52help, Gary, I would I would encourage you to bring those items back
- 9:58because it is worth it to continue the pursuit, and then we'll give you
- 10:01a credit towards the second approach that we usually take. Okay, Gary,
- 10:05great question this morning. You two can be like you question. You got
- 10:09a question for Tim O'Brien. Love to have you join us. Six so

- 11:24for Tim from the Healthy Place. The other way to reach Tim is through
- 11:26the email tim at finds Yourhealthy Place dot com. That's tim At finds your
- 11:31Healthy Place dot com. Gabriella right since she says, my teenage son is
- 11:35engaged in various sports at his high school, but his enjoyment is sometimes hindered
- 11:39by his asthma. Now I spent on two medications for several years, which
- 11:43generally manage his conditions. But I wonder if there's any natural remedies or practices
- 11:48he could incorporate and incorporate and incorporate. And that message from Gabriella tim great,
- 11:54great question. So I grew up with as much Sean. So this
- 11:58is like a very personal story for me, and early on, you know,
- 12:01I've shared this story that my mom worked at a health food store starting
- 12:05when I was like six or seven years old, and I just grew up
- 12:09learning about natural alternatives. And part of what you learn about when you're working
- 12:13at a health food store or working with a mom that works at a health
- 12:16food store, is you see the studies on some of the pharmaceutical drugs of
- 12:20the negatives or the issues that can come from taking those drugs for extended periods
- 12:26of times. And perhaps the most famous asthma medication of all time is albuterol,
- 12:31and albuterol is a rescue and hailer and I took that on a regular
- 12:37basis as a kiddo because I had chronic asthma, hospitalized multiple times and there
- 12:41was one period I was I was supervised and I was having asthma attacks throughout
- 12:48the day and I took so many puffs of this albuterol. You know where
- 12:50my parents but but I had a seizure and they had to call nine on
- 12:56one and anyway, that was a bunny trail. But albuterol very compelling studies
- 13:01released, you know, this is twenty years ago, thirty years ago,
- 13:03gosh, where albut actually weakens the lungs, so it opens them up,
- 13:09which can be a life saver, a quick action, but it weakens the
- 13:15lungs over time, where your asthma can get worse. And you know,
- 13:18steroids there's some drawbacks to those, and sara event and vancer all and adver,
- 13:24there's all these that have side effects and they can damage your body over
- 13:28time, damage your lungs. Even so, then early on it became essential
- 13:33for me to work on my lungs, strengthen my lungs, and take supplements
- 13:39that are going to take care of this asthma thing. And I was able
- 13:43to get off of inhalers. This is going on ten years now. A
- 13:46couple times a year I might need to rescue in haler, but we're talking
- 13:50ten years of success. And I like to bring up three products that really
- 13:54made a difference. Diet is huge, though too minimizing dairy mucus forming foods.
- 14:00Exercise is obviously good for the lungs. These supplements have been the three
- 14:03most pivotal in my own life. One is called malane lung Complex by a
- 14:09brand named Planetary Herbals. And you don't have to remember these. If you're
- 14:11listening, shoot me an email Tim at find your Healthy Place dot com.
- 14:15I'll shoot you these these three links for you or a loved one. But
- 14:18that malane lung complex has all your goodies for asthma. You know, long
- 14:22pepper, wild cherry bark, casilla bark. And then number two product is
- 14:26one called Bosmed Respiratory and that has a Boswellia that targets the inflammation in the
- 14:33lungs when you're having asthma tacks called five locks. It's a very specific kind
- 14:39of inflammation. Bossuelia, especially in a highly absorbed form like bos ten,
- 14:43will target that five locks, bring down that inflammation, clean your lungs of
- 14:48that inflammation. That's bos Met. And then number three is called Bronchial clear.
- 14:54And when you're having asthma tax sometimes you're having dry coughs, and you
- 14:58just you can't get you can't get a productive cough going. And if you
- 15:03can get a productive cough, it can often treat the asthma attacks. So
- 15:07bronchial clear helps make that more productive coughs and can get you out of the
- 15:11woods. So those are the three big ones. Asthma's terrible. You know,
- 15:16stay connected with your medical professional and these supplements. I have a personal
- 15:20story and dozens and dozens of success stories over the years, so it's worth
- 15:24a try for you or a loved one. Great question, great email,
- 15:26Gabriella. Don't forget. We do this each and every Wednesday morning at eight
- 15:30thirty. If you ever have questions the best thing to do, stop on
- 15:33in. They'd love to see you. Whether it's the West Side location of
- 15:35the Healthy Place, Fitchburger, Sun Prairie online as well it finds your Healthy
- 15:39Place dot com. That's find your Healthy Place dot com. Speaking of the
- 15:43kiddos in the school year, I was at the website earlier, and of
- 15:46course find your Healthy Place dot com. Kiddos. You know and I know
- 15:50Tim. You and I have talked about this, you and I, especially
- 15:54when we were younger. We're busy. We're busy, but you know it's
- 15:56hard. It's hard as a little guy to stay still. Got so much
- 16:00energy, and school can be can you know, there's there needs to be
- 16:03structure, There needs to be those things. And oftentimes those two, you
- 16:07know, the personal behavior and the personal needs for that energy and to burn
- 16:11off that energy, and then the needs of being a good classmate and being
- 16:15part of a productive classroom come in conflict. And a lot of parents say
- 16:19what can I do to help calm my kiddo down so they can focus so
- 16:23they can be successful in school. And I know a lot of parents also
- 16:26saying, oh, these pharmaceuticals, I don't want to go down. Yeah,
- 16:30they just they just want another you know, ever, each parent,
- 16:33you know, hey, you're the CEO of your own health. You're the
- 16:36CEO of your your children's health too. You know, you make those decisions
- 16:38until they get older. And so we respect folks decisions at the healthy place,
- 16:44and we want to educate on natural alternatives. So you have the option,
- 16:48so you know about that option. And Kids Mood Bundle Kid's Mood Bundle
- 16:52on our website is fantastic. It has uh your essential oils for calming.
- 16:57It has Griffin iv Ros is a beautiful local company that has a nice herbal
- 17:03tincture taste good. My kids actually line up like birds. They like the
- 17:06taste of it. And it's a liquid moody. It's called Moody Blues Mood
- 17:11Support. You notice an impact in like twenty minutes. I mean it is
- 17:14calmbing. It helps their focus. And then the third product in the kids
- 17:18mood bundle is called Calm Kids, and that has your nutrients for focus,
- 17:23for calming, for memory, and for uplifting balancing moods. So these are
- 17:30all very natural, there's no sort of side effects. It's not hard on
- 17:33the system. And you know, for fifty bucks you can get the three
- 17:37of those or you can try in one by one. But we're we're wanting
- 17:40the community to know about these items because it is tough to get kids to
- 17:45focus in school. I mean, my wife home schools, so I see
- 17:48it firsthand. I mean, we got the kids in there and it is
- 17:51interesting to walk. So I would recommend, hey, parents, immune system,
- 17:55mood. There are things you can do to take action and strengthen our
- 17:57little ones. Great opportunity for the kids and grandkiddos as well, start that
- 18:00conversation. Stop on and they'd love to see you. Whether it's West side
