- 0:00Hello friends! Welcome back to Wonderfully Made,
- 0:04Bible Stories for Children. I'm so excited you're
- 0:09here. Last time, we heard the incredible story
- 0:13of how God rescued the Israelites from Egypt.
- 0:17He parted the Red Sea so they could walk through
- 0:20on dry ground, and he brought them safely to
- 0:23the other side. But now, The Israelites had to
- 0:27take a long journey through the wilderness. Let's
- 0:31find out how God continued to care for them,
- 0:34even when the road ahead wasn't easy. The Israelites
- 0:50were finally free, but they didn't have a home
- 0:53yet. They had to travel through the hot, dry
- 0:57desert toward the land God had promised them.
- 1:00There were no cities, no stores, and no food
- 1:04or water in sight. Before long, the people started
- 1:09to worry. They were tired and hungry. Some of
- 1:14them began to complain and asked, Why did we
- 1:18even leave Egypt? But God hadn't brought them
- 1:23this far to leave them now. God told Moses he
- 1:27would take care of the people. In the evening,
- 1:31birds called quail came into the camp so everyone
- 1:35could have meat to eat. In the morning, something
- 1:39small and white appeared on the ground. It was
- 1:42called manna. It was like bread from heaven and
- 1:45it tasted like wafers with honey. The people
- 1:57were amazed. Every morning, God gave them just
- 2:01enough food for the day. Later, when the people
- 2:05were thirsty, God told Moses to strike a rock
- 2:09with his staff. When he did, fresh water flowed
- 2:13out, enough for everyone to drink. God also showed
- 2:18the Israelites exactly where to go. During the
- 2:22day, he went ahead of them in a tall cloud. At
- 2:26night, he appeared as a pillar of fire to light
- 2:30the way. The people didn't need to worry or be
- 2:33afraid. God was always with them. Have you ever
- 2:42been in a situation where you didn't know what
- 2:45would happen next? Maybe you felt unsure or even
- 2:49a little scared. The Israelites felt that way,
- 2:53too. Let's think about some things together.
- 2:59Have you ever needed something and then been
- 3:02surprised by how God or someone else helped you?
- 3:07How can we learn to trust God, even when we don't
- 3:11see the full plan? God is with us on every part
- 3:16of our journey. He knows what we need, and He
- 3:20loves to take care of us. just like he did for
- 3:24the Israelites in the wilderness. Thanks for
- 3:28joining me today. Next time, we'll hear what
- 3:32happens when the Israelites reach a very special
- 3:35mountain. There, God gives them important rules
- 3:40to help them live well together. What are those
- 3:43rules, and why do they still matter today? Don't
- 3:48miss it! Until next time, remember, you are wonderfully
- 3:53made, and God is with you every step of the way.
- 3:58Bye for now.
