Luna: Yeah, it really helps. You can do that at buy me a coffee dot com slash fexingo. Lucas: Thanks for keeping us going. Now, last time we talked about body parts like hand, arm, and been. Today we're going to add three more. Luna: Ooh, I remember mijn hand doet pijn. Now what are we learning? Lucas: Today it's de knie, de teen, and de buik. Luna: De knie, de teen, de buik. Let me guess, knie is knee, teen is toe, and buik is belly? Lucas: Exactly. Let's start with de knie. Repeat after me: de knie. Luna: De knie. Lucas: Perfect. Now, if your knee hurts, you say: Mijn knie doet pijn. Luna: Mijn knie doet pijn. That's useful after a long walk. Lucas: Definitely. Now, de teen. Can you say that? Luna: De teen. That's toe, right? Lucas: Right. And if you stub your toe, you might say: Mijn teen doet pijn. Luna: Mijn teen doet pijn. Oof, that sounds painful. Lucas: It is. Now, the last one: de buik. Luna: De buik. Belly? Like when you eat too much? Lucas: Exactly. And if your belly hurts, you say: Mijn buik doet pijn. Luna: Mijn buik doet pijn. That's a good one for after a big Dutch meal. Lucas: Let's practice all three together. De knie, de teen, de buik. Luna: De knie, de teen, de buik. Lucas: Great job. Now, let's put them into a little scene. Imagine you're playing sports and you fall. You might say: Mijn knie doet pijn. Luna: Mijn knie doet pijn. And then you go to the doctor and say the same thing. Lucas: Yes. And if you've been walking all day, your toes might hurt: Mijn teen doet pijn. Luna: Mijn teen doet pijn. I can say that after a long shopping trip. Lucas: And if you had too much stroopwafel, you can say: Mijn buik doet pijn. Luna: Mijn buik doet pijn. That's a very Dutch problem. Lucas: Let's review one more time. De knie. Luna: De knie. Lucas: De teen. Luna: De teen. Lucas: De buik. Luna: De buik. Lucas: And the sentences. Mijn knie doet pijn. Luna: Mijn knie doet pijn. Lucas: Mijn teen doet pijn. Luna: Mijn teen doet pijn. Lucas: Mijn buik doet pijn. Luna: Mijn buik doet pijn. Lucas: Perfect. You're doing great. Remember, practice these a few times and they'll stick. Luna: Yeah, I'm going to use them next time I have a tiny injury. Lucas: See you next time for more Dutch with Fexingo. Tot ziens. Luna: Tot ziens!
