  SPEAKER_00: I want you to quiet yourself down from all the noise of this world.

  SPEAKER_00: You are not what happened to you.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you've been through the fire.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you have been through so much rejection in life.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you have been labeled and called so many names, but you are not what they call you.

  SPEAKER_00: You are a child of the Most High God.

  SPEAKER_00: And today I want to encourage you today.

  SPEAKER_00: So today I want you to go to the Word of God.

  SPEAKER_00: I want you to listen to this word because this word has power and it will keep you going and knowing that sometimes it's okay not to be okay, but God will make it happen for you.

  SPEAKER_00: The word of God for today is Ephesians chapter two, verse ten.

  SPEAKER_00: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

  SPEAKER_00: God's workmanship.

  SPEAKER_00: God is working with you each and every day until the time of redemption, unto the time where you will be perfected.

  SPEAKER_00: So each day is a learning phase.

  SPEAKER_00: Each day will be a day that you will go through all kinds of emotions.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you will have an emotion to smile.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe an emotion that you're feeling sad or angry.

  SPEAKER_00: But you know what?

  SPEAKER_00: Even in those moments, it's okay not to be okay.

  SPEAKER_00: God tells you, be angry, but do not sin.

  SPEAKER_00: In the midst of your emotions, maybe you're thinking about everything that you've been called.

  SPEAKER_00: But let me tell you this, and I want you to listen to it.

  SPEAKER_00: And sometimes we think about the past and everything we've been through.

  SPEAKER_00: Everything that you went through in life had to happen.

  SPEAKER_00: So you can be, you can have made it this far in life.

  SPEAKER_00: So we see that in this word.

  SPEAKER_00: We see that Paul is speaking, and Paul describes believers as God's workmanship.

  SPEAKER_00: Created in who?

  SPEAKER_00: In Christ, for good works.

  SPEAKER_00: Our life in him has purpose.

  SPEAKER_00: Because our life in Christ has the greatest purpose.

  SPEAKER_00: We are not merely the sum of our wounds, our failures.

  SPEAKER_00: His grace invites us to live for a new identity and to walk in good.

  SPEAKER_00: Walk in the goodness of God.

  SPEAKER_00: Walk in the goodness he places for us.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes painful experience can leave labels behind.

  SPEAKER_00: Maybe unrejection, maybe unwanted damage or beyond repair.

  SPEAKER_00: Sometimes their mistakes become a name.

  SPEAKER_00: We keep calling ourselves.
• 3:57
  SPEAKER_00: But what happened to you and what you have done do not have to become the whole story of who you are.

  SPEAKER_00: Every test becomes a testimony.

  SPEAKER_00: Every mess becomes a message.

  SPEAKER_00: And everything that you've been through or everything that has happened to you serves for a greater purpose today.

  SPEAKER_00: Because there's someone out there that needs to hear it so they can understand that them too are not alone with all the burdens that they face.

  SPEAKER_00: This alone does not require denying your history that it never happened.

  SPEAKER_00: Because you can.

  SPEAKER_00: A lot of people say you forget about the past.

  SPEAKER_00: Yes, you forget about your past in a different way.

  SPEAKER_00: It don't no longer have holds you hostage.

  SPEAKER_00: It is something you can look back and say, you know what?

  SPEAKER_00: I am healed from that.

  SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna speak to someone that is needing this word, but it doesn't hold you back.

  SPEAKER_00: So your experience matter and their effects deserve care, but you can learn to tell your story without reducing yourself to its hardest chapter.

  SPEAKER_00: Replace harsh labor with a truthful statement.

  SPEAKER_00: I have been hurt and I am still worthy of care.

  SPEAKER_00: I made a mistake and I can take responsibility and still grow because I am God's workmanship and He says that every day He is working in me.

  SPEAKER_00: Today I want you to choose one action that reflects the person you are becoming in Christ.

  SPEAKER_00: Because you have made it this far for a reason.

  SPEAKER_00: You didn't die in your past, you are still here.

  SPEAKER_00: And if you're hearing this word today, I'm speaking to you.

  SPEAKER_00: Encourage someone, keep a healthy promise to yourself.

  SPEAKER_00: A child that God is continuing to work on, and his plans for you are great.

  SPEAKER_00: His plans for you is to prosper you and give you a good future.

  SPEAKER_00: So I want to say this word, this prayer for you, and and I pray to God that it takes root in your heart, this word, and that you can understand that you are not what happened to you.

  SPEAKER_00: Father God, in the name of Jesus, Father God, I come to you and I ask you to help us see ourselves through your grace and your truth.

  SPEAKER_00: Give us the courage to face out history without letting it define our worth.

  SPEAKER_00: Guide us into the good works, mighty God, the good works that you have prepared for us.

  SPEAKER_00: In Jesus' mighty name, I pray that whoever heard this word today feels renewed, receive a power boost, and knowing that you are not what happened to you in the past.

  SPEAKER_00: You are a child of God, you are God's workmanship, and what happened in the past, if it was bad, let it go.

  SPEAKER_00: And know that that bad situation was only something that you endure so that today you can testify about it.

  SPEAKER_00: Today, by speaking about it, you can lift somebody up that has been going through something.

  SPEAKER_00: But the best thing of all is to know that you are God's workmanship.

  SPEAKER_00: He is not done with you yet, he is working in you day by day until the time of redemption, the time that you are face to face with your Creator and be perfected.
