- 0:07Speaker 1: Fed chair Pale continues to face a lot of criticism
- 0:10Speaker 1: and maybe a restraining order. Today, we'll break it down
- 0:12Speaker 1: for you. My name is Paul Barren. Welcome back into

- 0:52Speaker 1: Let's go over. I want to lead with a clip today.
- 0:55Speaker 1: This one is Kramer kind of having some fun.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Take a look, and I think any of these guys
- 1:01Speaker 2: would say, is look the customers wanted.
- 1:03Speaker 3: He didn't think there was any real demand for it.
- 1:05Speaker 2: But I mean people want to trade.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I think people want to own some as a hedge
- 1:10Speaker 3: against the thirty seven eight trillion dollars.
- 1:13Speaker 2: They want to own a debt. They want to own
- 1:15Speaker 2: it for their kids.
- 1:16Speaker 4: And you know who else feels that way me?
- 1:19Speaker 5: I don't want that debt my kids.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I'm worried about my kids. I think maybe that's the
- 1:23Speaker 2: thing to do. How do you buy your bitcoin?
- 1:25Speaker 6: Though? If you buy it for the ets, what do
- 1:26Speaker 6: you want to own it directly?
- 1:28Speaker 3: I mean, you know, we're allowed to own that.
- 1:30Speaker 6: I think that if their worst financial crisis, bitcoin would
- 1:32Speaker 6: hold up.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Yes, that it is, Yes, Michael Sailor fan, it's a
- 1:35Speaker 1: proxy for risk for risk.
- 1:39Speaker 4: No, I think it's just a nice head.
- 1:43Speaker 1: All right there. It is crypto Kramer finally coming around,
- 1:46Speaker 1: and with that the markets took a little bit of
- 1:48Speaker 1: tumb in typical fashion, almost going anti crypto. I think
- 1:53Speaker 1: when you're betting on Kramer. I want to get on
- 1:56Speaker 1: to another point here. This is Matt Hogan talking about
- 1:59Speaker 1: you know, people in trad fi right now. It kind
- 2:02Speaker 1: of he looks at the current financial system and he
- 2:05Speaker 1: looks at the opportunities that are out there and many
- 2:08Speaker 1: people who have basically missed this because it kind of,
- 2:11Speaker 1: you know, spurred off of this statement from Alison Schreger
- 2:15Speaker 1: because she's changed her mind about crypto. So now exposure
- 2:19Speaker 1: is coming in. But in many cases it's a lot
- 2:21Speaker 1: of the trad FI guys that have should be running
- 2:24Speaker 1: ahead of the market but are not. And of course
- 2:26Speaker 1: Matt's kind of hitting on that very point. Other things
- 2:29Speaker 1: that are happening with Fed Chair Powell, of course, you've
- 2:32Speaker 1: got President Trump visiting the Federal Reserve and here it
- 2:35Speaker 1: is right here, he's going to take a look on
- 2:38Speaker 1: his two point five billion dollar renovations apparently in the building.
- 2:42Speaker 1: So interesting statements right now. Interesting that Powell attempted to
- 2:47Speaker 1: block the White House staff from visiting, so Trump decided
- 2:51Speaker 1: to go over and take a look himself. I don't
- 2:53Speaker 1: know whether this is going to play out, but it
- 2:55Speaker 1: does not look good for either party. It looks bad
- 2:58Speaker 1: on the President, looks bad on Pwell, it's an issue
- 3:00Speaker 1: right now that of course continues to face. Well, you
- 3:03Speaker 1: have another person being called into action to go after Powell,
- 3:07Speaker 1: and that of course is Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnink, who
- 3:10Speaker 1: calls for Joe Powell's resignation as well. This is like
- 3:13Speaker 1: I think the fourth person. It's been Polte, it's been Vesent,
- 3:17Speaker 1: it has been Jdie Vance, and now of course Howard Lutnink.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So the pressure is on in a big way. Four
- 3:24Speaker 1: rate cuts. The question is will they happen. Well, here's
- 3:27Speaker 1: the July meeting, very low percentage at four percent. September
- 3:31Speaker 1: a little higher at fifty four percent. I think that's
- 3:34Speaker 1: the date October sixty nine, and all the way in December,
- 3:37Speaker 1: which would be devastating I think for retail commerce at
- 3:41Speaker 1: eighty three percent. Let me know in the comments what
- 3:43Speaker 1: you guys think is going to happen in the near term.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I want to go back over to the topic of
- 3:48Speaker 1: the show today, which is a restraining order potential. Here's
- 3:51Speaker 1: a clip to kind of explain it.
- 3:52Speaker 7: Take a look, and we are asking a federal judge
- 3:55Speaker 7: to immediately block next week's Fedle Reserve meeting from happening
- 3:58Speaker 7: behind closed door. Azuri is deeply concerned that the FMC
- 4:02Speaker 7: under Truman Powell is maintaining high interest rates to undermine
- 4:06Speaker 7: President Donald J.
- 4:07Speaker 5: Trump.
- 4:07Speaker 7: Well, they always have meetings behind closed doors. So this
- 4:11Speaker 7: meeting next week is no different than any other meetings, though.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Well, the fact of the matter is the fact that
- 4:17Speaker 3: they've always broken the law does not excuse them from
- 4:19Speaker 3: breaking the law. I'm confident, Maria, the court will side
- 4:23Speaker 3: with our arguments. We are prepared to immediately appeal any
- 4:25Speaker 3: decision and if necessary, ask the Supreme Court to intervene
- 4:29Speaker 3: before next Tuesday's meeting.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Sometimes I think even Fox goes maybe a little too far.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I remember, this is dose dividend guy that kind of
- 4:38Speaker 1: came onto the scene, got a lot of credibility and
- 4:42Speaker 1: touting from both sides, and of course he's continuing to
- 4:46Speaker 1: kind of go in this direction. I don't think this
- 4:47Speaker 1: is going to happen, but I do think we're going
- 4:49Speaker 1: to continue to see other things happening in the market.
- 4:51Speaker 1: One of the things that has played out is recent
- 4:54Speaker 1: pressure on Chinese companies, and this of course is JP Morgan,
- 4:57Speaker 1: b of A leaders all have been subpoena but the
- 5:00Speaker 1: US lawmakers over the Cattle IPO. This is a Chinese
- 5:03Speaker 1: company that they're talking about, basically Dbanking, and the whole
- 5:06Speaker 1: concept here is there's a lot of Chinese companies listed
- 5:09Speaker 1: on the New York Stock New York Stocks change that
- 5:11Speaker 1: now potentially could be at risk. So if that is
- 5:14Speaker 1: the case, you have to also think about what's next
- 5:17Speaker 1: up for the biggest Chinese company, at least in the press,
- 5:21Speaker 1: and that is TikTok. Where are we on that, Well,
- 5:23Speaker 1: here is Howard Luttnig breaking it down.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Take a look, right, it's got to come out of
- 5:28Speaker 5: Chinese control. Right, We've made the decision. You can't have
- 5:32Speaker 5: Chinese control and have something on one hundred million American
- 5:35Speaker 5: phones that that's just not that's just not okay. Americans
- 5:39Speaker 5: will have control, Americans will own the technology, Americans will
- 5:42Speaker 5: control the algorithm. That's something Donald Trump is willing to do.
- 5:46Speaker 5: If that deal gets approved then by the Chinese, then
- 5:50Speaker 5: that deal will happen. If they don't approve it, then
- 5:53Speaker 5: TikTok is going to go dark. And those decisions are
- 5:55Speaker 5: coming very soon. So let's see what the Chinese do.
- 5:58Speaker 5: They've got to approve it. Is it's part of the
- 6:00Speaker 5: overall trade talks with China. Well, yes, and no, I
- 6:04Speaker 5: would say it's not really part of the trade talks.
- 6:07Speaker 5: But you can't really go meet somebody and not bring
- 6:10Speaker 5: up the topics that are elegant.
- 6:12Speaker 1: All right, So you can see the pressure is on.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I will say this, we have a theory about how
- 6:17Speaker 1: this is going to play out. It is involved in crypto.
- 6:19Speaker 1: We're going to break it down for you guys on
- 6:21Speaker 1: another show. But it continues to look at the strength
- 6:24Speaker 1: of TikTok being a pivotal company and also service for
- 6:29Speaker 1: social and how it's going to tie into crypto in
- 6:31Speaker 1: the very near future. Other things that are happening in
- 6:33Speaker 1: the market right now, of course, is Bank of America
- 6:36Speaker 1: just announced many banks are preparing to introduce crypto stable coins.
- 6:39Speaker 1: This is something we've known has been coming with the
- 6:42Speaker 1: likelihood of genius acketing past. Now that's through. I think
- 6:46Speaker 1: we are in the phase of banks starting to really
- 6:48Speaker 1: accelerate their stable coin activity as well as their crypto activities.
- 6:52Speaker 1: P and C just announced cryptoactivities now by and sell
- 6:55Speaker 1: within the banking ecosystem. We haven't seen it become come
- 6:59Speaker 1: to free just yet, but I think it's coming very quickly.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I want to go to a clip that kind of
- 7:03Speaker 1: goes into how private and public companies could also start
- 7:07Speaker 1: to converge on the blockchain, and this is coming in
- 7:10Speaker 1: from the nastaq seo. Take a look, do.
- 7:12Speaker 2: You think long term, if this private market develops in
- 7:17Speaker 2: this way that people are describing, where more people have
- 7:20Speaker 2: access to the private market, that the public and private
- 7:24Speaker 2: markets converge, if you will, meaning the private guys are
- 7:28Speaker 2: going to be disclosing a lot more. It's going to
- 7:29Speaker 2: start to look a little bit more like the public market.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Or do you think that they diverge and that there's
- 7:35Speaker 2: sort of two very different worlds, a very public market
- 7:39Speaker 2: and this sort of private market that's maybe more opaque,
- 7:41Speaker 2: but people are willing to take that risk, and somehow
- 7:43Speaker 2: this administration or other governments decide that that's okay.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Well, I personally think my personal view is that it's
- 7:50Speaker 4: more likely to converge because at the end of the day,
- 7:52Speaker 4: as I said, let's start with the investor experience. So,
- 7:55Speaker 4: for instance, we have tape D, which is an as
- 7:58Speaker 4: a private market does facility t hate private company transactions,
- 8:02Speaker 4: And we have created a tape with the Nazak Private
- 8:05Speaker 4: market to allow you to have some transparency on the
- 8:08Speaker 4: prices that are being discovered in the private markets, to
- 8:11Speaker 4: give investors better disclosures. So that's directly competing with all
- 8:15Speaker 4: of these new companies that are talking about the tokenization
- 8:17Speaker 4: and I mean I well, actually the Nazak private market,
- 8:21Speaker 4: we do it in connection with the company, so we
- 8:23Speaker 4: don't We always are working with the companies to allow
- 8:26Speaker 4: that transparency and that integra that liquidity do occur, So
- 8:29Speaker 4: that is kind of a different way to approach the problem.
- 8:33Speaker 4: And those are for credited investors.
- 8:35Speaker 1: This is so crazy that we have the nasa Q
- 8:37Speaker 1: CEO talking about this because this is the kind of
- 8:39Speaker 1: the evolution of maybe where financial markets are going to go.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And it's interesting because this is a good statement right here.
- 8:46Speaker 1: If we're totally cool people trading equity in private companies,
- 8:48Speaker 1: Remember you're probably a private company holder. If you're watching this,
- 8:51Speaker 1: you're trying to research. Do I take you know something
- 8:54Speaker 1: I'm doing on chain. If all of this starts to
- 8:56Speaker 1: happen where private and public start to converge, like what
- 8:59Speaker 1: the of Nastak is alluding to, this could be the
- 9:03Speaker 1: death of IPOs. And the interesting point is all of
- 9:07Speaker 1: this tokenization, and this has been said by Blackrock, now
- 9:10Speaker 1: by JP Morgan, everything will be tokenized if it can be.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And of course I think that is the future of
- 9:15Speaker 1: why crypto and why tokenized assets are the future of investing.
- 9:20Speaker 1: So pay attention, guys, all of this is happening right now.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I guess what Goldman, Sachson, b and y Mellon are
- 9:25Speaker 1: enabling institutional investors to purchase tokenize money market funds. This
- 9:28Speaker 1: is something that is even more crazy because it's starting
- 9:32Speaker 1: to expose traditional investors into tokenized assets, especially a money market,
- 9:38Speaker 1: which all it's going to do is create more and
- 9:41Speaker 1: more demand into what's happening in the crypto markets. If you, guys,
- 9:44Speaker 1: are the right place at the right time, I'm telling
- 9:47Speaker 1: you there's so much innovation coming down the pipe as
- 9:50Speaker 1: we start to see more clarity. Let's jump to back
- 9:53Speaker 1: onto General Pala a little bit, and this is Mike
- 9:55Speaker 1: Novograts talking about where he thinks this might turn out.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I could make an argument to you right now without
- 10:03Speaker 2: having the name of the next FED chairman, that we
- 10:05Speaker 2: already have a shadow FED chair that we know come
- 10:09Speaker 2: May of twenty twenty six, there will be a different
- 10:13Speaker 2: individual in that seat who is likely, very likely, highly
- 10:18Speaker 2: likely to push for lower interest rates. Now, the question
- 10:22Speaker 2: is will that person, unto themselves, be able to do that.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I think that's an open question. What do you think I.
- 10:27Speaker 6: Think you're right, and I think that's why gold is
- 10:29Speaker 6: breaking up to new highs, Silver's breaking act to the highs.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Bitcoin is on a tear right, the yield curve is steep,
- 10:35Speaker 6: the inflation trades are working, they're going to continue to work.
- 10:38Speaker 6: And I'll guess what. We now have China joining the
- 10:41Speaker 6: party with probably in my career, the biggest effort they've
- 10:46Speaker 6: ever had at reflation. They've actually now made it part
- 10:49Speaker 6: of monetary policy to reflate.
- 10:51Speaker 1: So when Novgretz was talking about, right, there is market expectations,
- 10:56Speaker 1: and I think we are already at that state with
- 10:58Speaker 1: all these markets starting to at all time highs, whether
- 11:01Speaker 1: it's gold, d s and P five hundred, obviously, bitcoin ethereum,
- 11:04Speaker 1: et cetera. All this playing into where the chair is going.
- 11:08Speaker 1: So if you look at this polymarket right here, this
- 11:11Speaker 1: of course is whether or not the FED chair would
- 11:13Speaker 1: be out in twenty twenty five. Now remember this was
- 11:15Speaker 1: almost like nothing a little bit time ago, just in June.
- 11:18Speaker 1: All right, now it has started to climb up, went
- 11:21Speaker 1: up to as high as what was that twenty four percent.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Now we're hovering around twenty percent. Again, a lot of
- 11:27Speaker 1: pressure from DC if this happens before the next few
- 11:30Speaker 1: FMC meetings. Yes, most likely. I think we're going to
- 11:32Speaker 1: see some rate cuts this year, even though we still
- 11:35Speaker 1: have a lot of people pointing in the other direction.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Last point that Mike Novigrat's made is based on heath
- 11:41Speaker 1: Listen to this.
- 11:43Speaker 6: The main driver right now is this plethora of balance
- 11:47Speaker 6: sheet companies right micro strategy lookalikes that are showing up
- 11:52Speaker 6: not just in bitcoin, but in crypto across the board.
- 11:56Speaker 6: You know, ETFs were a pretty darn good way to
- 11:58Speaker 6: get exposure. There are some cryptos where staking and DeFi
- 12:04Speaker 6: and on Shane yield will enhance that that that total
- 12:08Speaker 6: total performance over time, and so it's the rage, and
- 12:12Speaker 6: that's brought in at least twenty billion dollars of new
- 12:14Speaker 6: money right now.
- 12:15Speaker 2: If you could buy ether bitcoin, which do you buy?
- 12:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I own both. Listen. Ethers caught up a lot.
- 12:21Speaker 6: It feels like if Eth takes out four thousand, it
- 12:24Speaker 6: goes into price discovery, and so we feel kind of
- 12:27Speaker 6: destined to at least knock on the four thousand sealing
- 12:30Speaker 6: a few times. The narrative of Ether is really powerful
- 12:34Speaker 6: in the market, was really short and now we have
- 12:37Speaker 6: not not just you know, one we have two major
- 12:40Speaker 6: eth treasury companies and another one coming, you know, and
- 12:43Speaker 6: they're raising capital every day and buying Ether, and so
- 12:47Speaker 6: there's not a lot of supply of Eth, and so
- 12:50Speaker 6: I think ETH probably has a chance to outperform Bitcoin
- 12:52Speaker 6: in the next three to six months.
- 12:55Speaker 1: All right, outperforming Bitcoin. You look at the eth et
- 12:57Speaker 1: s inflow exploding spot eqs right now, net inflow fiber
- 13:01Speaker 1: thirty three mili. This was on Tuesday, fourth highest record.
- 13:05Speaker 1: And again you look at the all time high of
- 13:08Speaker 1: this along with thirteen consecutive days of inflow. This is
- 13:11Speaker 1: continued pressure. And what Novograss was talking about is all
- 13:13Speaker 1: these treasury companies starting to come into the market, and
- 13:17Speaker 1: when these are not slouches. Now we're starting to see
- 13:19Speaker 1: major treasury companies, the Ether machine coming in. If you
- 13:23Speaker 1: look at this right here, ethtf's now seeing inflows at
- 13:26Speaker 1: thirteen consecutive days. This is four billion, guys, that's the
- 13:29Speaker 1: number I wanted to show you, four billion. Pay attention
- 13:33Speaker 1: right now. It is still as Novograts was saying, ETH
- 13:36Speaker 1: was underperforming and is finally in a position now where
- 13:39Speaker 1: it may actually start to break out. If you're not
- 13:42Speaker 1: following that, you should be following us and do it
- 13:45Speaker 1: over on the Diamond Circle. And the way to do
