- 0:00Speaker 1: They'll mark some own show live from the w o
- 0:03Speaker 1: R Life back studios.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hey, another beautiful day to day. It's Thursday. We got
- 0:10Speaker 2: a lot to get to Big Knick's victory last night.
- 0:12Speaker 2: We'll get to President Trump. Iran. We'll get to Rubio
- 0:18Speaker 2: with fiery yesterday, Marco Rubio great in the hearings yesterday.
- 0:22Speaker 2: We'll get to crazy Scott Pelley, the most sanct demonious,
- 0:28Speaker 2: pompous asked in the history of broadcasting. We'll tell you
- 0:31Speaker 2: what he was up to yesterday. We'll get to the Nicks,
- 0:33Speaker 2: of course, and a whole lot more. Iran. It's it's
- 0:39Speaker 2: a ceasefire that's not really a ceasefire. Things are going on.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Hesbla firing rockets again this morning. Israel. You know, had
- 0:49Speaker 2: Prime Minister net Yahoo that screaming phone call with President Trump.
- 0:54Speaker 2: What the heff you do with it? But they got
- 0:56Speaker 2: to respond. They'll have to respond, so expect that a
- 0:58Speaker 2: little later today this they'll probably coordinate better with the
- 1:02Speaker 2: White House. Iran. It looks like we don't know what
- 1:07Speaker 2: we're doing. It looks like you watch the crazy MSNBC shows,
- 1:12Speaker 2: those type of things. But even if you listen to
- 1:14Speaker 2: some Repulicans say, I can't believe he went in without
- 1:16Speaker 2: a plan. I can't believe he doesn't it. Well, it's
- 1:20Speaker 2: a lot more of a plan than you think. A
- 1:23Speaker 2: lot of this is deliberate, deliberately looking like he has
- 1:26Speaker 2: no plan, deliberately looking like they don't know what to
- 1:28Speaker 2: do next. They kind of like this current situation straight
- 1:32Speaker 2: over Moose closed. It's draining Iran completely financially. Inflation in
- 1:38Speaker 2: Iran is now at eighty percent, and it's getting to
- 1:41Speaker 2: the point where we're looking for people to rise up
- 1:43Speaker 2: and just take over the government. But it hasn't happened
- 1:47Speaker 2: so far. But right now people are totally out of money,
- 1:49Speaker 2: totally starving. This could change pretty soon. Now. You gotta
- 1:56Speaker 2: do something at some point because the entire world oil
- 2:00Speaker 2: supply is running dry. We've used up about all the
- 2:03Speaker 2: reserves around the world. We have plenty of oil in
- 2:05Speaker 2: this country. We are the biggest oil producer in the world.
- 2:08Speaker 2: We produce a lot more oil than we need now
- 2:12Speaker 2: thanks to President Trump. But around the world, you got
- 2:15Speaker 2: to make sure they don't run dry, otherwise it could
- 2:17Speaker 2: drive the price up to one hundred and seventy dollars
- 2:20Speaker 2: a gallon. That would translate to six or seven dollars
- 2:23Speaker 2: at the pump, So you'll have to do something in
- 2:25Speaker 2: the next few weeks. The House passed this War Powers
- 2:29Speaker 2: resolution that the President cannot go to war in Iran.
- 2:32Speaker 2: It sounds dramatic, it doesn't mean a thing. It's a
- 2:35Speaker 2: totally meaningless thing the House can pass. It doesn't go anywhere.
- 2:38Speaker 2: It's not going to get anywhere in the Senate. Even
- 2:41Speaker 2: if it did, I don't think the President would follow
- 2:43Speaker 2: it anyway. So, hey, Marco Rubio. It was always thought
- 2:48Speaker 2: that JD. Vance Worth up front runner for twenty twenty eight,
- 2:52Speaker 2: but Rubio pulling ahead. You know, Press Secretary Caroline Levitt
- 2:58Speaker 2: is on maternity leave, so one day Rubio filled in.
- 3:01Speaker 2: He was dazzling. He was brilliant, explaining everything, and he
- 3:05Speaker 2: was great making fun of the press attack and the press.
- 3:08Speaker 2: So that kind of put him ahead of JD. Van
- 3:10Speaker 2: So they let JD. Vance do the press conference one day.
- 3:14Speaker 2: It was good, but it wasn't Marco Rubio. And yesterday
- 3:18Speaker 2: on Capitol Hill, Rubio was great. You know, these hearings,
- 3:24Speaker 2: these congressional hearings, they just get a Republican in there,
- 3:27Speaker 2: a Trump person in there, and beat them up like crazy.
- 3:30Speaker 2: They just accuse him of everything, and then they don't
- 3:33Speaker 2: let the person answer. Democrats are great at hearings. They're
- 3:37Speaker 2: great at it. I mean as far as getting viral video,
- 3:40Speaker 2: as far as getting TV video. Republicans think at it.
- 3:44Speaker 2: They ask real questions, they wait and let the person answer.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It's not as good for viral stuff. But it's just
- 3:51Speaker 2: this first guy calling Rubio a liar. The Rubio is
- 3:56Speaker 2: covering up the President Trump is total mental decline.
- 4:00Speaker 3: You know.
- 4:00Speaker 2: They make up something like a pedophile or he's got
- 4:03Speaker 2: cognitive problems, and they make up this thing, and then
- 4:06Speaker 2: they all spread it around, and they tell the lie
- 4:08Speaker 2: so many times that they forgot they made it up.
- 4:12Speaker 2: They really come to believe it. But they've convinced themselves
- 4:15Speaker 2: the President Trump is in total cognitive decline and Rubio's
- 4:18Speaker 2: covering it up.
- 4:19Speaker 4: The American people deserve the truth.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I yield back.
- 4:24Speaker 5: I don't even know how to respond to that, other
- 4:26Speaker 5: than to tell you that it's absurd and ridiculous and
- 4:28Speaker 5: I can't believe we're in a Foreign Affairs committee meeting
- 4:30Speaker 5: in front of the House, an important time in American
- 4:32Speaker 5: foreign policy. Just keep lying, just keep on supposedly someone
- 4:36Speaker 5: who thinks he's a medical expert when he's not. The
- 4:38Speaker 5: truth of the matter is we had a cognitively impaired
- 4:41Speaker 5: president in office a few years ago. That's a cognitively
- 4:43Speaker 5: impaired president. But I don't like to talk about that
- 4:45Speaker 5: because it weakens America.
- 4:48Speaker 2: That's the nicest exchange. It gets worse. So what they do.
- 4:51Speaker 2: They'll ask you the worst question in the world, accusing
- 4:54Speaker 2: you of everything on earth, and then they don't let
- 4:56Speaker 2: you answer. If you try to answer, they start. You
- 4:58Speaker 2: could be one two words in the you're answering, they're
- 5:00Speaker 2: cutting you off.
- 5:01Speaker 6: Secretary of Rubio, why did the State Department approve the
- 5:03Speaker 6: thirty million dollars to g h F at a time
- 5:06Speaker 6: when other well tested agencies were there and able to
- 5:10Speaker 6: provide distribution.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Well, because one of those were Inhos with Hamas, and
- 5:15Speaker 5: we saw an incredible amount of the aid flo into Hamas's.
- 5:18Speaker 6: Hands, reclaiming my time. The aid was.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Here by Israel and the rules.
- 5:23Speaker 5: You can't even answer a question.
- 5:24Speaker 6: You're not following the rules. You're very familiar with how
- 5:27Speaker 6: this works.
- 5:27Speaker 5: No, never served a weird rules. You ask the question
- 5:30Speaker 5: and I can't answer.
- 5:34Speaker 2: That's what they do. If you say tours reclaiming my time,
- 5:37Speaker 2: I'm reclaiming my time.
- 5:38Speaker 5: It's absolutely wrong about the way the money flows. It's
- 5:41Speaker 5: pretty so straightforward, and I'll share I'm going to have.
- 5:43Speaker 4: To reclaim the time again.
- 5:45Speaker 5: So what kind of processes they get to answer? Ask questions?
- 5:47Speaker 5: You don't get to answer. It's my time, the question,
- 5:52Speaker 5: So why am I here? But I don't get to
- 5:53Speaker 5: answer your questions? And your defamer reclaiming my time?
- 5:56Speaker 2: Reclaim?
- 5:57Speaker 5: But I want to reclaim?
- 5:58Speaker 2: Do I get time?
- 5:59Speaker 5: Because you makes the Palma's Horse parents and no one
- 6:01Speaker 5: can talk here.
- 6:02Speaker 1: He's crazy.
- 6:04Speaker 2: It's really ridiculous, but it works. They get their viral
- 6:08Speaker 2: videos and then they run them all over CNN, and hey,
- 6:11Speaker 2: Scott Besson had to testify in front of gay This
- 6:13Speaker 2: is pretty good. Somehow, I don't know what they're they're
- 6:17Speaker 2: accusing him of anything and everything. And this Widen, the
- 6:20Speaker 2: Senator Widen, believe it or not, he's pushing that there's
- 6:26Speaker 2: an Epstein scandal. You got to investigate the Epstein files,
- 6:28Speaker 2: the Epstein list that well, turns out this guy's son
- 6:33Speaker 2: is all tangled up with Epstein. The son's all through
- 6:35Speaker 2: the Epstein files. Widen's son runs some sort of hedge fund,
- 6:39Speaker 2: some kind of fund, and he went to Epstein and
- 6:42Speaker 2: saw him in his house a number of times asking
- 6:44Speaker 2: for money. So Widen starts in on this investment, starts
- 6:48Speaker 2: bringing up Epstein, your son in Epstein.
- 6:50Speaker 7: We would like to hear what Adam Widen and Jeffrey
- 6:53Speaker 7: Epstein talked about. Your son's largest investment position was Rick's cabaret.
- 6:59Speaker 7: So did your son and Jeffrey Epstein talk about pole
- 7:02Speaker 7: dancing as he begged him for money using your limited credibility?
- 7:08Speaker 2: So we don't have the clipper. But apparently Wyden got
- 7:11Speaker 2: crazy and said, I'm not going to answer anything from
- 7:14Speaker 2: the capo of the worst crime family in America. What
- 7:18Speaker 2: for that means? But that's crazy Democrats, totally hysterical, hyperbolic.
- 7:23Speaker 2: So hey, the Knicks last night, big, big, big first
- 7:26Speaker 2: game win. Knicks behind, way behind, but came alive in
- 7:30Speaker 2: the fourth quarter. Of these Nicks all these what is
- 7:33Speaker 2: it eleven twelve victories in a row. I mean, they
- 7:35Speaker 2: definitely definitely got a lot of swagger, confidence and they
- 7:39Speaker 2: can pull themselves together. It was an incredible win.
- 7:41Speaker 1: It crunts it on the drive Spence Undernea, puts.
- 7:46Speaker 4: It out, puts it in, Janalen cruts it, does it again.
- 7:49Speaker 6: HiT's a six point league but thirty seven seconds left.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty good, pretty amazing. They have these watch parties.
- 7:56Speaker 2: That was one outside in Madison Square Garden. That was great.
- 8:00Speaker 2: People yelling. But I notice they're all you watch these
- 8:03Speaker 2: watch parties. Everything's everybody's eighteen nineteen years old that they
- 8:06Speaker 2: really know about the Knicks. I guess, but they're eighteen
- 8:09Speaker 2: or nineteen. You go to anything that's called a watch party,
- 8:13Speaker 2: watch anything, though, those a show up for it. Hey,
- 8:17Speaker 2: President Trump was great yesterday talking about crazy Jill Biden.
- 8:23Speaker 2: It's the worst rollout of a book ever. It's only
- 8:26Speaker 2: like number fifty on Amazon. And the reason they put
- 8:30Speaker 2: it out now. You want to try to be at
- 8:33Speaker 2: the top of the bestseller list in your first week.
- 8:36Speaker 2: The reason they put it out now is June. This
- 8:39Speaker 2: part of June, beginning of June, first week of June
- 8:42Speaker 2: is the lowest week of the year for book sales.
- 8:45Speaker 2: For whatever reason. Look around Christmas Christmas season, books sales
- 8:50Speaker 2: are way up, way up because everybody's buying them for
- 8:52Speaker 2: gifts or whatever. The fall people buy books, but right now.
- 8:56Speaker 2: This week every year it's the lowest sales week of
- 8:59Speaker 2: the year, so that's why she released it this week.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Because it's such a low sales week. You don't have
- 9:05Speaker 2: to sell too many books to get to be number one.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Another time of year, you'd have to sell a ton
- 9:10Speaker 2: of books to be number one, but during this week,
- 9:13Speaker 2: you don't have to sell that many and you can
- 9:14Speaker 2: be high on the list. But it's a terrible book.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Everybody that's read it said, it's just a ridiculous book.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I mean, just nothing to say. Horrible writer, which is funny.
- 9:26Speaker 2: She's an English teacher, although not a big English teacher,
- 9:29Speaker 2: teaches it a community Delaware Community College. But terrible book.
- 9:34Speaker 2: And she had to make up all these lives and
- 9:38Speaker 2: the presidential debate, it was pretty clear Biden had total
- 9:42Speaker 2: cognitive impairment, couldn't talk, couldn't finish a sentence. So she
- 9:46Speaker 2: has to explain this. So she first said, I thought
- 9:49Speaker 2: he was having a stroke, which is a lie. She
- 9:51Speaker 2: didn't think that. She sees them like that every day.
- 9:54Speaker 2: It was to imply that, oh, I've never seen him
- 9:56Speaker 2: like this before this, he must be having a stroke.
- 9:59Speaker 2: He's never liked this. Then the problem is we know
- 10:03Speaker 2: that right afterwards she'd made this whole speech, but how
- 10:05Speaker 2: brilliant he was, and they she took him to a
- 10:08Speaker 2: party at the waffle house. If you're think you're having
- 10:10Speaker 2: a stroke, waffles aren't really a good cure, So that
- 10:13Speaker 2: didn't make any sense. Then she kept changing the lie
- 10:16Speaker 2: every day. So the next day of the lie was well,
- 10:19Speaker 2: there were doctors backstage. Had they looked at him and said,
- 10:21Speaker 2: he's fine, He's okay. Nobody's falling for any of this.
- 10:24Speaker 2: But President Trump, Miranda Devine asked him.
- 10:27Speaker 1: About this, so she said, he had a stroke, But
- 10:29Speaker 1: why would she bring him to a waffle house?
- 10:31Speaker 4: If you had a.
- 10:32Speaker 8: Would your wife have allowed you to go off to
- 10:34Speaker 8: a waffle house?
- 10:35Speaker 6: If she will you having a stroke?
- 10:39Speaker 4: You know, although I would. Actually it's not so bad.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, let's stop saying waffle house. I'm getting
- 10:43Speaker 2: hungry here. So hey, yesterday Scott Pelley, Uh, this guy
- 10:49Speaker 2: is the biggest most arrogant fake news pampus ass in
- 10:55Speaker 2: the history of the world. Totally delusional. Now they've all
- 11:00Speaker 2: convinced themselves. You see this all over the place, all
- 11:03Speaker 2: over fake news television. You see it all over left
- 11:06Speaker 2: wing stuff online. They've all convinced themselves he was fired
- 11:10Speaker 2: because of President Trump, something to do with President Trump.
- 11:13Speaker 2: They've convinced themselves President Trump is the reason Stephen Colbert
- 11:18Speaker 2: was fired, the reason Scott Pelley was fired. Now you
- 11:21Speaker 2: look at both cases. Colbert has no viewers, the show's
- 11:25Speaker 2: losing forty million a year, and CBS not doing very well.
- 11:30Speaker 2: You know, everything is down, ratings, revenue, everything is dramatically
- 11:34Speaker 2: down over the years at CBS. So whenever you get
- 11:36Speaker 2: a new owner, first thing a new owner does is
- 11:39Speaker 2: look at what's losing money. What's the biggest financial disasters. Yeah,
- 11:43Speaker 2: that's what a new owner does. You try to clean
- 11:45Speaker 2: it up, you know, you try to trim the fat.
- 11:48Speaker 2: So this guy's losing forty million a year, that's the
- 11:51Speaker 2: reason he's gone sixty minutes. Ratings are down dramatically. Oh,
- 11:55Speaker 2: I know, we're up ten percent from last year. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 2: but you're down ninety percent from ten years ago. So
- 12:02Speaker 2: they convinced themselves this is all political.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Now.
- 12:04Speaker 2: The new owner of CBS is David Ellison, son of
- 12:08Speaker 2: Larry Ellison. David Ellison, everybody that knows it will tell
- 12:11Speaker 2: you is not a political guy. He's not particularly political.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Is he a Republican or a Democrat? Nobody knows because
- 12:17Speaker 2: he's not into politics, couldn't care less. And the new
- 12:21Speaker 2: CBS president, Barry Weiss, it keeps getting lost in the
- 12:26Speaker 2: shuffle here. You keep forgetting she's a Democrat. She's not
- 12:29Speaker 2: a Republican, she's not a Trump supporter. She's a Democrat.
- 12:33Speaker 2: But the problem is she's a normal Democrat, like an
- 12:36Speaker 2: old fashioned Bill Clinton Democrat. She's not a crazy, woke
- 12:40Speaker 2: left wing Trump derangement syndrome kook. She's a Bill Clinton Democrat.
- 12:45Speaker 2: And these other people have gone so far to the
- 12:48Speaker 2: left that to them, an actual Democrat is now a Republican.
- 12:52Speaker 2: So it's not political. Apparently, Barry Weiss. Now the reason
- 12:58Speaker 2: Scott Pelly got himself fired. I mean he was, you know,
- 13:01Speaker 2: questionable character anyways, getting millions of dollars, delivering nothing that
- 13:05Speaker 2: really does anything for anybody, and he's running fake news
- 13:08Speaker 2: all the time. You know. Ever since he's gone, everybody's
- 13:11Speaker 2: posting all the fake news he pushed through the years,
- 13:14Speaker 2: all of them. They pushed the fake Russia hoax. They've
- 13:17Speaker 2: covered up the laptop, claimed it was for Russian disinformation,
- 13:21Speaker 2: They denied the wire tapping at Trump, the fake news
- 13:26Speaker 2: they tried that fake Ron Desanta scandal that they made up,
- 13:30Speaker 2: all that kind of stuff. So apparently Berrywise, you know,
- 13:35Speaker 2: you got to decide do we really need this guy.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Then they have the town hall meeting with the new boss,
- 13:42Speaker 2: and he stands up and starts cursing and screaming at
- 13:45Speaker 2: the guy, telling him he's incompetent, you're murdering the place,
- 13:47Speaker 2: tells the guy off, humiliates the guy in front of
- 13:49Speaker 2: the stet horrible. You can't do that anywhere and not
- 13:52Speaker 2: get fired. So the next day they said, let's sit
- 13:56Speaker 2: down and talk and we'll work this out. What you're
- 13:59Speaker 2: what you're angry about. And they try to talk and
- 14:02Speaker 2: he's even worse, tells him off even more, so they
- 14:05Speaker 2: realize nothing can be done. So apparently she called David Ellison,
- 14:09Speaker 2: the new CEO of Skydance Paramount Skydance, and told him
- 14:15Speaker 2: she doesn't know she should fire him or not. And
- 14:17Speaker 2: he's the only thing he said, he said, what's your
- 14:21Speaker 2: tolerance for pain? So, in other words, he said, if
- 14:25Speaker 2: you can take the pain, keep the guy around. But
- 14:27Speaker 2: if you don't want to take all this pain all
- 14:28Speaker 2: the time, from just get rid of him. So he's gone.
- 14:32Speaker 2: He's been putting out all kinds of nonsense statements. He
- 14:37Speaker 2: wrote a letter to the whole staff. This is Scott Pelly. Now,
- 14:41Speaker 2: the new owner of our network is casting this legend aside,
- 14:45Speaker 2: apparently to curry a moment of favor with the Trump administer.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Last month, sixty minutes lost his DNA when the entire
- 14:56Speaker 2: senior leadership and two of our best on air correspond
- 15:00Speaker 2: and were cruelly, cruelly fired. I don't think they were
- 15:03Speaker 2: cruelly fired. Don't think they got a nice severance and
- 15:05Speaker 2: all that they stood for fairness against the forces of
- 15:08Speaker 2: political bias. He's the political bias. He's the worst political
- 15:13Speaker 2: bias we've ever seen. This goes on and on and on. Uh.
- 15:18Speaker 2: For for my part, oh here, listen to this. Actually,
- 15:22Speaker 2: I think they can end up suing him. They could
- 15:23Speaker 2: really sue him. They got a hell of a case
- 15:25Speaker 2: against this guy. They should take him into court and
- 15:27Speaker 2: sue him. He says, for my part, new management has
- 15:30Speaker 2: instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias into a political story.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Now this is not true. They don't didn't order him
- 15:39Speaker 2: to inject falsehoods in there. They ordered me to inject
- 15:44Speaker 2: falsehoods and bias. I've been I've been told to include
- 15:49Speaker 2: assertions that are unverified. Now what he really is saying,
- 15:54Speaker 2: you know, he gives no examples because there aren't. What
- 15:57Speaker 2: they really did was when he was doing one of
- 15:59Speaker 2: these hatches jobs on Trump or on some Republican they
- 16:03Speaker 2: told him, you've got to go to the other side
- 16:05Speaker 2: and get quotes from them. You've got to let the
- 16:08Speaker 2: other side respond. That's what he's referring to. To him
- 16:12Speaker 2: that was injecting falsehoods and assertations that were false. They
- 16:16Speaker 2: were just telling him you can't just do a one
- 16:19Speaker 2: sided hit job on somebody. You got to give the
- 16:21Speaker 2: other side a chance to respond, which he refused to do. Anyway, Well,
- 16:26Speaker 2: we've got a lot to We'll get back to Scott Pelley.
- 16:27Speaker 2: You got a lot to talk about. We'll take some calls. Next.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 16:33Speaker 2: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 16:38Speaker 2: set up said on the iHeartRadio app to Doubor to
- 16:42Speaker 2: hear Mark live. Set another for Mark's podcast to hear
- 16:46Speaker 2: him anytime now back to Mark Simone on dou woor
- 16:52Speaker 2: Hey let's take some calls. Let's go to Ron in Florida. Ron,
- 16:56Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 16:58Speaker 9: Good?
- 16:58Speaker 3: Good morning. I wanted to say before Art that I've
- 17:00Speaker 3: been listening to you since January of twenty twenty. I
- 17:02Speaker 3: enjoy your show, especially Vincent, and I'm an avid listener.
- 17:06Speaker 2: So well, thanks. Where are you in Florida?
- 17:10Speaker 3: And Jacksonville Beach is just south of Savannah if you
- 17:13Speaker 3: know where that is. Yeah, but beautiful weather here today
- 17:17Speaker 3: was one hundred degrees Dallas.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Say what they tell you it's beautiful? Was it one
- 17:21Speaker 2: hundred degrees? And you got lizards crawling all.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Over you now?
- 17:25Speaker 2: And hurricanes?
- 17:26Speaker 3: Eighties? Right now, we've got a couple of weeks of
- 17:28Speaker 3: good weather, so.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Okay, so low eighties. What's going to be at three
- 17:31Speaker 2: o'clock nineties?
- 17:33Speaker 3: Probably one hundred?
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you see you guys, try to cover that up,
- 17:37Speaker 2: all right, go ahead.
- 17:39Speaker 3: But one time I lived in Dallas, Texas.
- 17:41Speaker 2: If you call that living, but okay, okay.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Uh, and work for the transit agency there. And I've
- 17:48Speaker 3: met Scott when I was a PR guy and he
- 17:50Speaker 3: was interviewing me for some stuff.
- 17:52Speaker 2: We met Scott best.
- 17:53Speaker 3: I just want to say, just make an observaby who.
- 17:55Speaker 2: You meet, Who did you meet Scott Besson, Scott telling Oh,
- 18:00Speaker 2: Scott Pelley, Oh okay.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Yeah, when he was with w FAA, And you know,
- 18:05Speaker 3: something happened. I mean, the several reporters from there were
- 18:08Speaker 3: picked up and went to d C in various jobs.
- 18:11Speaker 3: And it seems like they and we stayed in touch
- 18:13Speaker 3: over time, but not not with Scott but others. But
- 18:16Speaker 3: it seems like something happens when they go to d C.
- 18:17Speaker 3: They just totally lose their minds because in journalism school,
- 18:21Speaker 3: I started out as a report and they told you,
- 18:24Speaker 3: you know, you're justus to get both sides of the
- 18:26Speaker 3: story and with the public or the reader decide what's
- 18:28Speaker 3: truth is. And it's like they forget that when they
- 18:31Speaker 3: go to d C. I don't know what happens. They
- 18:32Speaker 3: go nationally, yeah, just an observation.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Well Ron, great, call call us again sometime. Yeah. Well
- 18:37Speaker 2: they become these left wing CBS people and then that's
- 18:42Speaker 2: bad enough, but then Trump comes along and he just
- 18:46Speaker 2: sets them off. It's Trump the arrangement syndrome. They just
- 18:49Speaker 2: go they feel that he is so evil that they
- 18:52Speaker 2: have to take the gloves off and do whatever they
- 18:53Speaker 2: have to do to get this guy. Mind me to
- 18:56Speaker 2: talk about that later. How this CBS was always a
- 18:58Speaker 2: little left wing, but what it was really Dan rather
- 19:02Speaker 2: that changed everything. Well, we'll get to that coming up.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Let's go to Mara in Nevada.
- 19:06Speaker 8: Mara, how you doing so good, chow Vincent Mark. Trump
- 19:10Speaker 8: has been a brilliant negotiator most of his life, but
- 19:13Speaker 8: he's been negotiating with brick and mortar. Brick and mortar
- 19:17Speaker 8: does not bleed, brick and mortar does not die. He's
- 19:20Speaker 8: not a wartime president. He doesn't know how to go
- 19:24Speaker 8: in and have innocent people killed. He can't do it marketing.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Well, I think you're getting a little a little over
- 19:32Speaker 2: the top there with all of that. Now, listen, he's
- 19:34Speaker 2: been pretty good at a wartime president. He's been pretty
- 19:37Speaker 2: good at military stuff. You have a good point in that.
- 19:41Speaker 2: All his life he's a brilliant negotiator, but he's been
- 19:44Speaker 2: negotiating with business people, with real estate developers, with unions.
- 19:49Speaker 2: It's business. He's never had to negotiate with fanatical lunatics
- 19:53Speaker 2: that aren't in a business, so that you're right, that's
- 19:56Speaker 2: a little different. But he'll figure it out if he
- 19:58Speaker 2: hasn't already let's go to uh Rich Myrtle beach Rich,
- 20:03Speaker 2: how you doing, Thanks, Bakino.
- 20:05Speaker 9: Mat has actually got a point there. I wasn't going
- 20:07Speaker 9: to bring this up, but you know, just like you said,
- 20:09Speaker 9: Trump can be too nice sometimes, like he didn't go
- 20:11Speaker 9: after hill Wharie once he got elected when he really
- 20:13Speaker 9: should have gone after that foundation. But you know the
- 20:16Speaker 9: point you're making about CBS. You know, I haven't watched
- 20:20Speaker 9: anything unless it's a major sporting event. It's probably been fifteen,
- 20:23Speaker 9: twenty twenty five years since I've watched anything on a
- 20:27Speaker 9: lamestream media network, CBS, NBC, ABC, There's absolutely nothing to watch.
- 20:31Speaker 9: The sitcoms to Horrible is zeroing to watch in those
- 20:35Speaker 9: stations unless it's an actual major sporting event.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Let me think, is there anything I watch on network TV?
- 20:41Speaker 2: I mean I watched the news, I watch, I watched
- 20:45Speaker 2: the Sunday shows. I don't know why nobody else does.
- 20:48Speaker 9: I don't know why you're doing. I still love the
- 20:50Speaker 9: McLaughlin group. In the old days, I used to love
- 20:52Speaker 9: John McLaughlin.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Oh, I'll tell you the only thing I watched Blue Bloods.
- 20:56Speaker 2: That was the one thing I watched, And now I
- 20:57Speaker 2: watch Boston Blue. It's not the same.
- 21:02Speaker 9: Like you said, Marcus, no reason to watch sixty minutes anymore.
- 21:06Speaker 9: There's no reason to watch anything on network TV with
- 21:09Speaker 9: ten million channels, on direct TV, Dish, or even on cable.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you're right, that's a very good point. Let's
- 21:15Speaker 2: go to George in Connecticut. George, how you doing.
- 21:19Speaker 4: I am doing very well. Thank you for taking my call.
- 21:22Speaker 4: I wanted to share something that my wife shared with
- 21:24Speaker 4: me just last night that gave a different perspective on
- 21:27Speaker 4: why Trump is not quote finishing the job. And I
- 21:31Speaker 4: think one of the reasons is that Trump wants to
- 21:34Speaker 4: get a coalition in the Gulf countries to come together
- 21:37Speaker 4: and join the Abraham Accords, and the best way to
- 21:40Speaker 4: do that is by allowing what's going on over there
- 21:44Speaker 4: so that it motivates Kuwait, buff Rain, all these other
- 21:49Speaker 4: Gulf countries. They've joined the thing.
- 21:51Speaker 2: They've been working on. Apparently they had Kuwait and Cutter
- 21:54Speaker 2: ready to go. This is about two three weeks ago,
- 21:56Speaker 2: and then they all backed out at the last minute.
- 21:58Speaker 2: But he's also waiting because this is a good situation
- 22:01Speaker 2: for us. It's totally totally draining the economy, the finances,
- 22:05Speaker 2: everything in Iran, so The longer we wait, the more
- 22:08Speaker 2: it hurts them. But anytime we went he can finish.
- 22:11Speaker 4: It provides additional motivation for them to join the Abraham Accords.
- 22:15Speaker 4: And I think, by the way, that also is one
- 22:16Speaker 4: of the reasons why he was mad at bebe Nut
- 22:18Speaker 4: and Yahoo by getting into Lebanon, and not just.
- 22:23Speaker 2: The hes bloggay. But that's been taken out of context,
- 22:26Speaker 2: that whole I mean, he did yell at he's cursy
- 22:29Speaker 2: uh And as he pointed out, he does that all
- 22:31Speaker 2: the time with everybody. You know what he's using the effort.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Are you efing crazy? What the f is wrong? That's
- 22:36Speaker 2: normal conversation. He does that all the time with everybody,
- 22:39Speaker 2: and every president does behind the scenes. In fact, there
- 22:43Speaker 2: was a famous uhya who was in the Oval office
- 22:46Speaker 2: and Clinton told him off, cursing and screaming, right in
- 22:49Speaker 2: front of everybody. It happens all the time. Hey, when
- 22:51Speaker 2: we come back the we hope the brilliant Steve Moore
- 22:55Speaker 2: will be with us next. The great Economists will talk
- 22:57Speaker 2: to him in a moment on seven to ten, double your.
- 23:01Speaker 1: It's more, Mark Simone, are well, Steve Moore, the brilliant Economists,
- 23:10Speaker 1: great columnists, and of course you see them all over television.
- 23:12Speaker 2: You should get his latest book, The Trump Economic Miracle.
- 23:16Speaker 2: It's a great book. You'll learn a lot. And then
- 23:18Speaker 2: he runs the Committee to Unleash Prosperity and every day
- 23:21Speaker 2: they put out the best daily briefing, news analysis. It's free.
- 23:25Speaker 2: It'll come right to your email every morning. You'll love it.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Just go to Unleash Prosperity dot com. Unleash Prosperity dot
- 23:33Speaker 2: com and sign up. Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 23:37Speaker 4: I'm doing well, Mark, and I think we're gonna you know,
- 23:39Speaker 4: tomorrow morning we get a new jobs report, and I
- 23:42Speaker 4: think all indications are we're gonna give a pretty healthy
- 23:45Speaker 4: number for employment. Businesses are hiring again. And you know,
- 23:50Speaker 4: if you look over the last couple of weeks, almost
- 23:54Speaker 4: all of the economic news has been positive. You're seeing
- 24:00Speaker 4: a lot of employment, you're seeing a lot of investment
- 24:05Speaker 4: by businesses. We saw a big manufacturing report that Larry
- 24:09Speaker 4: Cobbo was talking about on the show last night. So
- 24:13Speaker 4: it's even despite the fact that we're paying a lot
- 24:15Speaker 4: for energy and that's been a real downer for the economy.
- 24:19Speaker 4: The resilience and durability of this economy is incredible, and
- 24:23Speaker 4: I think part of that is the big beautiful bill
- 24:25Speaker 4: that every Democrat voted against.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Yeah, although I'm watching MSNBC Morning Shoe this morning and
- 24:31Speaker 2: they're talking about and he said, as Americans struggled to
- 24:35Speaker 2: pay their bills in this troubling economy. Now Democrats run
- 24:39Speaker 2: around repeating that.
- 24:40Speaker 4: What I mean, Look, everybody's mad about grocery prices. Everybody's
- 24:48Speaker 4: angry about gas prices. Of course, I mean those are
- 24:51Speaker 4: up a lot. And you know, God, we've tried to
- 24:54Speaker 4: buy a Hamburger lately, or of stake. You know, those
- 24:57Speaker 4: costs are up a lot. But the on me, despite
- 25:01Speaker 4: those higher prices, you know, is really moving ahead.
- 25:05Speaker 2: For it.
- 25:05Speaker 4: By the way, we have all time highs on the
- 25:06Speaker 4: stock market.
- 25:07Speaker 9: Now.
- 25:07Speaker 4: I know somebody say, well, that's only for rich people,
- 25:09Speaker 4: No it's not. I mean virtually every middle class worker
- 25:12Speaker 4: has there all their retirement savings in the stock market.
- 25:16Speaker 4: So when that does better, America does better, and workers
- 25:19Speaker 4: do better. So I see an economy that is it
- 25:23Speaker 4: is getting.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Better every week.
- 25:26Speaker 4: And if you know, if I say this every week
- 25:28Speaker 4: on your show, if we can get this situation in
- 25:30Speaker 4: the least settled, I think you're going to see one
- 25:32Speaker 4: of those great economic booms.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, if I had a restaurant and all of
- 25:39Speaker 2: a sudden, all my customers were eating a restaurant across
- 25:42Speaker 2: the street, they left me and they're all eating over there.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I go over there and I see what are they
- 25:45Speaker 2: doing that? How come states don't do this when companies leave,
- 25:50Speaker 2: they're all going to Texas. They're all going to Florida.
- 25:53Speaker 2: You just had another one to leave and go to Texas.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Why don't they try to do what Texas does? Steve Moore?
- 26:02Speaker 2: Do we lose you? Did we lose him? Oh, we'll
- 26:07Speaker 2: call you back. Uh, No, he's gone. What do we
- 26:12Speaker 2: have them back? Let me see. Yeah. The big thing
- 26:17Speaker 2: is Samsung just announced they're pulling out of New Jersey.
- 26:20Speaker 2: We have Steve Moore back. No, well he was here
- 26:25Speaker 2: for a minute, which is good. Yeah. Samsung, major business
- 26:31Speaker 2: that was operating in New Jersey, huge footprint in New Jersey,
- 26:35Speaker 2: announces they're leaving, closing everything down and moving it to Texas.
- 26:39Speaker 2: So you would think if you were a state and
- 26:42Speaker 2: one by one by one, your biggest taxpayers, and your
- 26:46Speaker 2: biggest companies and your biggest employers are leaving you and
- 26:50Speaker 2: moving to Florida. Many of them now moving to Texas.
- 26:53Speaker 2: You would think you'd go down there and talk to
- 26:56Speaker 2: them and see what they're doing. I mean, in any
- 26:58Speaker 2: other business, if we were in the I guess, let's
- 27:01Speaker 2: say you're in the radio business. All of a sudden,
- 27:03Speaker 2: the other station takes off. They're doing great. You look
- 27:05Speaker 2: at what they're doing, but not with pologies. Steve Moore,
- 27:09Speaker 2: are you there?
- 27:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess the goblins didn't want me to talk
- 27:13Speaker 4: to you. But you know, I was just saying that
- 27:16Speaker 4: blue states like New York, New Jersey, California, my home
- 27:20Speaker 4: state of Illinois, need to be more like Texas and
- 27:23Speaker 4: Florida and Utah and states that are really booming. And
- 27:26Speaker 4: you're seeing more and more of these companies moving out
- 27:29Speaker 4: of New York and New Jersey. You saw Exon, one
- 27:32Speaker 4: of our iconic companies in America, moved out of New
- 27:35Speaker 4: Jersey into Texas. And now the latest of Samsung is
- 27:39Speaker 4: moving out of I think it's New.
- 27:42Speaker 2: York, New Jersey.
- 27:43Speaker 4: So yeah, why don't these blue states get it? Why
- 27:46Speaker 4: don't they change in a way that makes them pro business,
- 27:49Speaker 4: because you can't have jobs without businesses.
- 27:51Speaker 9: Folks.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Also, they claim to love tax revenue, but these are
- 27:57Speaker 2: your biggest tax revenue, the billionaires to companies. But what
- 28:03Speaker 2: is it about democrats that they never learned They can
- 28:05Speaker 2: make the same mistake a billion times and never stop making.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Well, there's a kind of a war now against wealth.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Did you see your good friend Bernie Sanders says he
- 28:13Speaker 4: wants the government to take a fifty percent ownership of
- 28:17Speaker 4: all the tech companies in America. Can you imagine Bernie
- 28:19Speaker 4: Sanders running a company?
- 28:22Speaker 2: Yeah, a phone made by Bernie Sanders. That's going to
- 28:26Speaker 2: really yeah?
- 28:27Speaker 4: Right. So, I mean, look, you have to treat businesses kindly.
- 28:31Speaker 4: And a lot of these politicians they've never run a business.
- 28:33Speaker 4: They don't know how hard it is to me to
- 28:35Speaker 4: payroll and to employe people and make a product people want.
- 28:39Speaker 4: I mean, I hear AOC talking about these big, bad
- 28:41Speaker 4: businesses and how greedy they are. Mike, Well, AOC, why
- 28:44Speaker 4: don't you go out start a business? Tell us what
- 28:47Speaker 4: you think?
- 28:48Speaker 9: How was it?
- 28:49Speaker 4: You know, there's so many famous stories of liberals who said, gee,
- 28:52Speaker 4: I had no idea until I tried to start a business.
- 28:54Speaker 4: What effect taxes and regulation have on trying to make
- 28:59Speaker 4: a profit? And by the way, folks, is not a
- 29:01Speaker 4: dirty word. Without profits, we would have no businesses.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and most of these guys when they get that profit,
- 29:07Speaker 2: what do they do? They spend it? And businesses spend
- 29:09Speaker 2: it over and over again. Yeah. So, hey, California, Steve
- 29:13Speaker 2: Hilton wins the primary. Practed very well. You think maybe
- 29:16Speaker 2: voters are starting to wise up out there.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Well, the good news from California. And by the way,
- 29:21Speaker 4: I love California and I love the weather, I love
- 29:23Speaker 4: the beaches, I love the mountains, I love the beautiful women.
- 29:26Speaker 4: I mean, it's a great state. It's been runned by politicians.
- 29:28Speaker 4: But you know they that election they had on Tuesday
- 29:32Speaker 4: was amazing. Mark. There were about five tax hikes that
- 29:37Speaker 4: were put on the ballot, you know, for voter approval.
- 29:39Speaker 4: Every one of them got turned down all the way
- 29:41Speaker 4: from San Francisco down to San Diego. So when Californians say,
- 29:45Speaker 4: read my lips, no new taxes, you know there's something
- 29:48Speaker 4: going on in America. People feel over taxed. They don't
- 29:51Speaker 4: feel like when you've got you know, a trillion dollars
- 29:54Speaker 4: a fraud in the federal budget, we should be raising
- 29:57Speaker 4: taxesn't giving these guys more money.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Absolutely, Hey, Steve Moore puts out the best daily briefing.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Go to Unleashed Prosperity dot com and sign up today.
- 30:05Speaker 2: You had a great thing about Bill Clinton introduced workfair
- 30:09Speaker 2: instead of just welfare, you work for it, which helps.
- 30:12Speaker 2: What about bringing all that.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Of course, we want people, you know, to have healthcare,
- 30:17Speaker 4: We want people to have you know, we don't want
- 30:19Speaker 4: people who go hungry or homeless. But if you're going
- 30:21Speaker 4: to get a government benefit and you're an able body,
- 30:23Speaker 4: don't you think you used to be working. If the
- 30:28Speaker 4: government's going to give you money, you should do something
- 30:30Speaker 4: in return, you know, to earn that money, and so
- 30:32Speaker 4: you know, and work there by the way moves people
- 30:34Speaker 4: off of welfare into jobs, into getting a paycheck. And
- 30:38Speaker 4: but once you have a paycheck and you get a job,
- 30:40Speaker 4: you do a good job, you're gonna get better paycheck
- 30:42Speaker 4: and fide. But you can't poverty if you're just sitting
- 30:46Speaker 4: at home watching TV all day.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and getting back to work every day can really
- 30:50Speaker 2: really turn a person's life around and get your motivated.
- 30:53Speaker 4: And by the way, people who are working mark people say, oh,
- 30:56Speaker 4: that's so cool to make people know people who work
- 30:58Speaker 4: are happier. Yeah, and healthier than people who don't work.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Actually, there's nothing more cruel than training somebody just
- 31:06Speaker 2: sit at home and do nothing and getting them out
- 31:08Speaker 2: of work. Wise. So well, Steve Moore, great work, keep
- 31:12Speaker 2: it up, and uh, you got another book in you.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Well, you know we're we're laugher and I are working
- 31:19Speaker 4: on a book about you know, the rich state, Red
- 31:22Speaker 4: State blues. Stay. Oh, very good to revive themselves.

- 31:35Speaker 2: a lot. And uh, go to Unleashed prosperity dot com.

- 32:13Speaker 2: Do we know when? Yeah, it's coming soon. The price
- 32:17Speaker 2: has finally been announced. It's big. One hundred and thirty
- 32:20Speaker 2: five dollars a year. This will be a huge ipo.
- 32:23Speaker 2: SpaceX IPO one hundred and thirty five dollars a year.
- 32:27Speaker 2: That's a lot. Company is looking to raise seventy five
- 32:32Speaker 2: billion in this IPO. This steal. That price values the
- 32:37Speaker 2: company at one point seven five trillion, making it among
- 32:43Speaker 2: the ten most valuable companies listed in the US. Hey,
- 32:48Speaker 2: I don't forget Buck and Clay Noon today. They do
- 32:50Speaker 2: a great show every day from noon to three. And
- 32:52Speaker 2: you got the most listened to radio show in America
- 32:56Speaker 2: Sean Hanned. He got Jesse Kelly at six and Jimmy
- 32:59Speaker 2: Fayala is a great show. You love it. If you
- 33:01Speaker 2: haven't heard it yet, listen. It's on nine to midnight
- 33:04Speaker 2: every night. Jimmy Fayler the great comedian talk show host
- 33:08Speaker 2: on seven to ten, wo R The Marks Them Own

- 33:19Speaker 2: last night The Knicks fourth quarter pull ahead.
- 33:22Speaker 6: Brosi on the drive spins Underlea puts.
- 33:27Speaker 2: It up, puts it in.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Chileen prots it, does it again.
- 33:30Speaker 2: It's a six point league, but thirty seven seconds luck
- 33:34Speaker 2: pretty amazing. So the next game, why isn't it tonight?
- 33:38Speaker 2: It's Friday night. I notice, I'm not really a basketball fan.
- 33:42Speaker 2: I don't really watch it, but I notice they every
- 33:44Speaker 2: time they play a game, they take two days off
- 33:46Speaker 2: before they play the next one. It's a best of
- 33:48Speaker 2: seven series world series. Boom boom boom every night. Only
- 33:52Speaker 2: time it's off when they got to travel. But it's
- 33:56Speaker 2: it's Friday night, and then the next game is Monday.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Why are they off for two days? That's I guess
