- 0:07Now broadcasting from the Next Gen. conservative studio in
- 0:11sunny South Florida, bringing you the latest in politics,
- 0:15current events and pop culture. This is the Whitfield Report
- 0:20with Sam Whitfield. Well, good evening ladies and
- 0:35gentlemen, and Merry Christmas Eve to you all.
- 0:40I am your host, Sam Whitfield, streaming here on a Christmas
- 0:46Eve a little impromptu show. This isn't going to be a real
- 0:52long one. Merry Christmas Eve to you all.
- 0:57And if you're listening to this either on Christmas, I don't
- 1:02know why you would be. Hopefully you have family or
- 1:06friends that you're spending time with.
- 1:12You know, hopefully you're spending time with them.
- 1:15Or maybe you're listening to this on Tuesday.
- 1:19You know, the day after maybe you've opened presents, you know
- 1:26and you have time and you're you're turning into this
- 1:29podcast. Either way, I appreciate the
- 1:34fact that you are here with us for your Christmas Eve and or
- 1:43Christmas Day and they're honored to have you here.
- 1:52So I'm going to keep the show pretty low key and light
- 1:57tonight, but they're just are a couple of things I want to
- 2:02cover. Since I won't be doing a Monday
- 2:05show tomorrow with being a holiday, I figured I would do
- 2:10the show for you tonight. That usually would be done on
- 2:17Monday. So anyway, first thing is first,
- 2:23ladies and gentlemen. We mentioned this a bit on
- 2:30Wednesday's show, but the Colorado Supreme Court has
- 2:37decided not to put Donald Trump's name on the Colorado
- 2:45primary ballot. They have struck Trump's name
- 2:49from the primary ballot in Colorado.
- 2:54And many conservatives are upset that this is, you know,
- 3:01unconstitutional, which it absolutely is.
- 3:06And you know, it's a dirty tactic from the left to keep
- 3:14Trump off the ballot. I get that.
- 3:20However, you know, what's going to happen is this matter is
- 3:28going to go to the Supreme Court.
- 3:30The Supreme Court is most likely going to decide that what
- 3:36Colorado is doing is unconstitutional and they cannot
- 3:39do it. So they'll probably strike down
- 3:42Colorado's decision and force them to put Trump on the primary
- 3:50ballot if they do uphold it. Though I know that some states,
- 3:56including Georgia and Arizona, are threatening to, or not so
- 4:02much threatening but saying they're going to remove Joe
- 4:05Biden's name from the ballot. Because hey, if Colorado can
- 4:13remove Trump's name from the ballot for the primaries, then
- 4:19what's to say that the more red states can't do the same for
- 4:23Biden? Now Colorado is obviously, you
- 4:27know, citing the January 6th insurrection quote, UN quote, as
- 4:34the reason why they removed Trump's name from the primary
- 4:39ballot. Even though Trump was not
- 4:42officially convicted of anything.
- 4:46They're still going with that, you know the narrative that he
- 4:49let an insurrection. So that's the excuse that the
- 4:54Colorado Supreme Courts are using.
- 4:58More conservative states like Texas and Georgia and Arizona
- 5:10are saying that they're going to remove Bynes name from the
- 5:14ballot they're citing. They're basically citing the
- 5:23fact that Biden has let illegals cross the border, which in Texas
- 5:31I believe that constitutes treason and a couple other
- 5:37states are going along with that.
- 5:40So basically the Democrats have said that, you know, they're
- 5:46going to remove a candidate from the primary ballot.
- 5:49And the Republicans are saying, well, if this gets upheld by the
- 5:52Supreme Court, then we can do the same.
- 5:56And you know what? Like, I'm all for that.
- 5:58If the Democrats want to play dirty that way, then the
- 6:04Republicans can play dirty too. But my prediction is that that
- 6:11that this is going to go to the Supreme Court.
- 6:15This is going to get struck down.
- 6:18Trump's name will be on the ballot for the prime primaries
- 6:27nationwide, irregardless. And even, like Bill Barr and
- 6:38even Gavin Newsom have said this is bad precedent.
- 6:45So you know that when Gavin Newsom is saying it's bad, that
- 6:50it is bad. Now, I'm not saying that like
- 6:52that's good per SE, that Gavin is saying that.
- 6:56I know he has ulterior motives. The reason why he's saying that,
- 6:59it's because he wants to be the one to face off against Trump in
- 7:042024. And you know, he wants to be the
- 7:08one to take to take down Trump. And if you don't think that
- 7:13Gavin Newsom is going to run, well, I've got, you know, news
- 7:19for you. I've got an igloo in Florida
- 7:22that I can sell you. So anyway, Adam, right.
- 7:32I don't want to get too much into politics since it is
- 7:35Christmas Eve, but I didn't really get much of a chance to
- 7:40talk too much about Colorado, so I briefly wanted to cover that
- 7:47for folks and just kind of let people know my input on that.
- 7:55So, moving on to lighter topics and a little bit of humor,
- 8:03Tucker Carlson put out a Christmas episode of his show, a
- 8:10Christmas Eve special. I've seen it and many other
- 8:16people have, but for those who haven't, maybe they've been busy
- 8:22shopping all day. Last minute gifts, yada yada.
- 8:30You might not have seen this and I I want to do some commentary
- 8:35on it because to me it is humorous, it is satirical and I
- 8:41think a lot of people are kind of over analyzing it.
- 8:47So you know, people have asked my opinion on this.
- 8:50So we're going to go through this and do some analysis on it.
- 8:59By the way, Max Sand is in chat. He says Merry Christmas.
- 9:07And he also says you didn't get much chance to talk about it due
- 9:11to our five hour conversation. Yes, our five hour conversation
- 9:16with Mr. Craig, Bob, very good episode, especially considering
- 9:25it's the end of the year practically.
- 9:30And by the way, Max, if you want to come on the show, I can send
- 9:35you the link to hop on real quick.
- 9:41You weren't on Gilded or you were you were showing as
- 9:47invisible or offline. So I didn't message you because
- 9:53I assumed that you might be doing some dad stuff.
- 9:59You can jump on a few. OK, well, let me then send you
- 10:03the link. And hold on folks.
- 10:09This is what happens when you in fact do a live show.
- 10:15OK, let me let me go into, let me go into Gilded here and I'll
- 10:43send Max the link. So OK Max, the link is sent.
- 11:00I'm sure you saw it. So just, you know, pop on and
- 11:05when you're ready and all what you, you know, I'll bring you
- 11:09on. Of course.
- 11:11Now back to kind of our light hearted show.
- 11:16So Tucker Carlson did a Christmas special episode.
- 11:22It's only 7 minutes long. I I know a lot of people have
- 11:25seen this. You know, if if you've been
- 11:28online today, so this isn't going to be exactly a live
- 11:35reaction. I've seen it.
- 11:40It's still pretty funny. I actually didn't know that
- 11:44Tucker Carlson could do comedy, but apparently he can.
- 11:48And Merry Christmas, Mr. Max. How are you doing?
- 11:52Excellent. Merry Christmas, Sam and
- 11:54everybody else. I I had to jump in for just a
- 11:58just a few moments at least. You know, if we're doing a
- 12:01Christmas Eve special, you know, make sure you guys are, you know
- 12:06you got plans tomorrow and if you don't do something special
- 12:10for yourself, you know. Yeah and I have some words of
- 12:14wisdom kind about the end of the show.
- 12:17I was going to pre record this but then I checked Rumble and
- 12:21like everyone else is streaming tonight.
- 12:23So I figured, well, if everyone else is streaming, why not?
- 12:29You know, I? Was I was wrapping gifts and
- 12:35watching the Pot awful merch episode, You know, fun fact,
- 12:40Sam, I was, I was looking through old pot awful episodes,
- 12:44'cause I'm in the pizza fun and I was like, I just want a merch
- 12:49episode, right? And there it was.
- 12:53You know, I'm just, I had it on in the background.
- 12:56I was doing other stuff and I just heard.
- 12:58And he had he he, he goes into war with Sam Whitfield.
- 13:02And I was like, oh, oh, it's that OK?
- 13:06Oh, did did he actually do an episode on that?
- 13:09Because, like I I've not seen that one.
- 13:13So I might. Have It's a pizza fund only
- 13:16$12.00 episode and without spoiling anything, he's like,
- 13:23he's like, yeah, we've made fun of Sam and he just laughs.
- 13:29Well, I was like, yeah, that sounds right.
- 13:32Well, yeah. Speaking of make, make fun and
- 13:37laughing. I'm not sure if you've if you've
- 13:40seen this though, but Tucker did an episode today and the amount
- 13:47of people who just don't get comedy it, it's really shocking
- 13:51how many people take things literally online.
- 13:57I The funny thing with me is he was like, you'll know the guest
- 14:03by his face. And I was like, who the fuck is
- 14:07this 'cause I'm not a movie guy. Oh, oh, so you hadn't you hadn't
- 14:13seen this yet, so. I I saw like a few, like a
- 14:19minute 30 and he was like, everybody will know my guest by
- 14:24how he looks. And I was like, I have no idea
- 14:27who this is. So, in other words, you haven't
- 14:29watched House of Cards then on. I have not.
- 14:33No. Never.
- 14:34Heard. Well, OK, so I I can kind of, I
- 14:38guess, walk you through this. This will act be fun because I
- 14:43can explain some of the meta jokes to you then.
- 14:49So yeah, I already kind of spoiled it.
- 14:51But you know, for the folks watching, here it is. 2024 has
- 14:56not even begun yet, and it does seem like the presidential race
- 15:00is effectively frozen in place, if not over.
- 15:03We know who the candidates are. It's too late for another to get
- 15:06in. Some have already dropped out.
- 15:08But is it too late? Is there anyone in this country
- 15:12of 350 million people who could jump in at this late date and
- 15:16rescramble the calculus of electoral politics?
- 15:19Well, there may be someone. And in fact, you already know
- 15:22him, you know his face. And the question is, will he get
- 15:26in this cycle? And that's my question for you.
- 15:29Well, that's really a decision for the people, Tucker.
- 15:34It's not something that I really think about or want to do.
- 15:38And Merry Christmas to you too. OK, so for those of you
- 15:43listening on audio, Tucker has Kevin Spacey, who's playing his
- 15:51character Frank Underwood from How.
- 15:52Oh, it's Kevin Spacey. I get it.
- 15:55I didn't recognize him, you know, without him trying to
- 15:58molest the little boy. Yeah.
- 16:00Oh, so, yeah. OK.
- 16:04So that's a good one. Sorry.
- 16:10Sorry, I had to no. No, yeah.
- 16:17No, I get what you mean by people not understanding a joke,
- 16:21but a lot of what I saw people saying is, don't you know that
- 16:25he's a gay pedophile? Well, a what?
- 16:29Allegedly. And that that's the whole thing.
- 16:32Yeah, allegedly. Yeah.
- 16:35Yeah, but not his character from some show like Kevin Spacey
- 16:39himself. Right.
- 16:41Right. If it was a character on the
- 16:42show, I would have made that joke right?
- 16:46Right. Well, that well, that's, that's
- 16:48the thing. I don't think people realize.
- 16:51Basically. I'll just kind of get to the
- 16:53point right away. I don't think, I don't think a
- 16:56lot of people realize that Tucker was interviewing a
- 16:59character. People were getting mad that
- 17:02Tucker was had Kevin Spacey on because, oh, you're Platform.
- 17:10You're platforming A pedophile. He is.
- 17:14He is, yeah. Allegedly but.
- 17:17Allegedly. Yeah, I mean, but that's not
- 17:23untrue. Right.
- 17:25So these but these same people who are getting upset that you
- 17:29know that some people won't platform, you know Nazis are
- 17:37getting upset that Tucker's platforming and alleged
- 17:41pedophile, so have you. Don't believe in the no platform
- 17:47thing at all. I think it's stupid.
- 17:50I'm just when you have a guy like this on, character or not,
- 17:54that's the first thing. It's the last bit of news.
- 17:58They know about him. Yeah, and also, and also I I
- 18:04hate to say this. Well, I mean, I don't.
- 18:07I want to point out he would get the same reaction if he had
- 18:09Michael Jackson on. Yes.
- 18:12Well, I also. I also.
- 18:14Want to? I also want to point this out
- 18:17too. Like, I'm not endorsing anything
- 18:21that Kevin Spacey allegedly did, but I can also separate art from
- 18:29the person. Sure.
- 18:31And Kevin Spacey has been in several movies and shows, House
- 18:36of Cards being one of them that I absolutely love.
- 18:40Well, look, hey, if you're never going to watch anything that was
- 18:43produced with any pedophile again, then you just have to do
- 18:46what I do and not watch any movies.
- 18:49Right. And I hate to break this to you
- 18:53all, but that's the that's the reality of it.
- 18:56If you're watching a film, somebody involved from
- 18:59Hollywood, especially somebody involved with that film, is a
- 19:03kid diddler. Yeah.
- 19:05Like, certainly. And probably everybody knows it
- 19:09too. Yeah.
- 19:11So you know, and and we used to be able, we actually talked
- 19:14about this recently like separating art from you know
- 19:19people like we'd actually talked about this kind of verbatim so.
- 19:24The one, the one time it becomes almost impossible for people
- 19:27though, is when it's pedophilia involved.
- 19:29Yeah. Whether whether it's allegations
- 19:33or not, I mean, like you can say what you want about Michael
- 19:36Jackson, right? But in the courts, he was always
- 19:38found innocent. You know, At what point does
- 19:44that matter? To the average person, it
- 19:46doesn't seem to, because they'll still tell you that he was a Kid
- 19:49Diddler, right? Well, and and say and same thing
- 19:52with Kevin Spacey. Like he was actually found not
- 19:55guilty of all charges from, I understand, right, right.
- 19:59And then but the average consensus is not going to be to
- 20:02follow all of that they're. Just right.
- 20:05They're just gonna like I did there.
- 20:07And that's why I did it that way.
- 20:08I was like, oh, right. I didn't recognize them without
- 20:11him trying to molest the little boy.
- 20:13That's. The average person's mentality
- 20:16on people like that and. That.
- 20:20One that there is one thing that will make separating the art
- 20:23from the artist hard and it and it's when you're when you're
- 20:26nasty to children. Yeah, I.
- 20:28Think for a lot of people actually.
- 20:30Also, you know harming animals is another one, that they will
- 20:34not separate the art from the artist.
- 20:37Or. Or murdering or murdering women.
- 20:40OJ Simpson comes to mind specifically specifically with
- 20:44that. Or.
- 20:46Or Chris Benoit, right. A lot of wrestling fans, yeah,
- 20:50will tell you, Oh, but he was a great wrestler and he was, he
- 20:53was one of the best. I would.
- 20:54Me and my brother would get Mark out when his music hit because
- 20:58you knew you were in for a good match.
- 21:00Yeah, but I can't. I'm sorry, I can't separate that
- 21:03art and artist from the from the man who murdered his wife and
- 21:06autistic son. I was watching a Jingle all the
- 21:10way last night which which has the late oh I'm, I'm blanking.
- 21:18I'm blank. Oh Phil Hartman.
- 21:20And Phil Hartman wasn't a criminal or anything.
- 21:23But you know, sadly, Phil Hartman is known because he was
- 21:28murdered. Suicide and by its wife and I,
- 21:32yeah. After Andy, Dick gave his wife a
- 21:34whole bunch of coke. I mean, never mind.
- 21:37Yeah. Never mind Hollywood shit.
- 21:39Yeah, yeah, the kind of. See, that's the kind of thing,
- 21:42though. None of us live lives like that,
- 21:45right? The only Hollywood people can.
- 21:48And we just accept that. Like none of us are like this.
- 21:52Like we. It's very unlikely you're going
- 21:55to get the Kevin Spacey accusation, you know what I
- 21:58mean? It's very unlikely because you
- 21:59just don't put yourself in situations that might even look
- 22:03weird. But like Hollywood people, I, I,
- 22:06I truly believe this, that there's a an element of like
- 22:11never, ever being held to account for their actions.
- 22:15And so when they do, when when people do see something wrong,
- 22:21that's why they have a hard time separating art from the artist.
- 22:24Because these people don't get held accountable generally.
- 22:29And we all know they're shitty people.
- 22:30Like we all know, these A List actors are mostly really shitty
- 22:34people. Yeah, yeah, we, we.
- 22:38But we give them a pass anyway. Why?
- 22:39Because they can read a script. Good.
- 22:43Well, I mean, I don't necessarily give them a pass.
- 22:48For you watch their movies. What?
- 22:50What? They did, yeah.
- 22:52Right. That's a pass.
- 22:54You're still you're still employing them.
- 22:57Essentially, you're buying their product.
- 22:59Yeah, Well, I mean unless you unless you like bought their
- 23:07product before they were accused is that's kind of what what I
- 23:12mean. So like.
- 23:15I I think for a lot of people, they won't go back and watch old
- 23:18Kevin Spacey shit either, you know what I'm saying?
- 23:22Like they. Yeah.
- 23:24And, and, and I'm not even saying they're right for this
- 23:27kind of line of thinking, but that's just how it is, you know?
- 23:31Yeah, you get that kind. Of accusation.
- 23:33And it's going to fucking follow you for the rest of your life,
- 23:36whether it's true or not. Yeah, I mean, I it's.
- 23:38Going to be that one guy at a party who, you know, he's not
- 23:43very funny, he's not very smart, but he's got 3 Kevin Spacey
- 23:46jokes like. Yeah.
- 23:50And that's his whole identity. He's the guy at the party that
- 23:52has the Kevin Spacey jokes or the Michael Jackson jokes or
- 23:55whatever. You know, insert fallen
- 23:58celebrity here, right? There's one guy who those are
- 24:01the only jokes he'll ever come up with, and he tells the same
- 24:04ones at every party he goes to. Yeah.
- 24:07And and and if and if that would only continue to work if people
- 24:13don't suddenly say, well, yeah, but I heard Kevin Smith was
- 24:16acquitted. That ruins the joke.
- 24:19But nobody does that, so he doesn't have to worry about his
- 24:22joke being ruined because nobody looks into it.
- 24:24They're like, yeah, he's a he's a pedo.
- 24:29And then they would go, but they would go and watch his new movie
- 24:31too. Yeah, now what?
- 24:36I what? I don't at first.
- 24:39Maybe I at first maybe I thought that this was just like a like a
- 24:44green screen or something. Like all the clips from the show
- 24:50that you mentioned. Yeah, or some or something or.
- 24:53Something no it it doesn't seem to be really got em.
- 24:57Yeah. Which like I, I guess one thing
- 25:01I'll give Tucker on this like props for like keeping this
- 25:05under wraps, yeah. Well, to be fair, again, with
- 25:11the reputation the guy has now, yeah, it's easier to get him if
- 25:16you're Tucker. You know what I'm saying?
- 25:17Like Tucker wouldn't have got him ten years ago.
- 25:20Yeah. So here's the thing about Kevin
- 25:23Spacey that I would like to point out.
- 25:26He was not an overtly political guy as a celebrity.
- 25:31Right. You know, but he got ran afoul
- 25:36of whatever, you know, whether by his own actions or they just
- 25:40wanted to say he did this. See, that's the thing.
- 25:42Is it? Quit it or not, It's a little
- 25:44fucking weird. Yeah, well it's also, I I will
- 25:49say too like it is weird because like for the past few
- 25:53Christmases, he's done weird like videos like on YouTube.
- 26:00Aren't they in this character too?
- 26:02Yes. And and so that and so that's
- 26:04what make, that's what makes it. Maybe he's lost his mind.
- 26:09Yeah. Maybe he actually is like living
- 26:13this character now on a day-to-day because it's just the
- 26:16pressure got to, I don't know. Yeah, but like, so have you all
- 26:21jokes joking. Like, aside from your comment
- 26:25though, like have you seen House of House of Cards at all or do I
- 26:29need to fill you? In I have literally never heard
- 26:31of it. OK, so basically he he plays a
- 26:35Southern Democrat congressman who basically basically it's him
- 26:43and his wife and they're basically the Clintons.
- 26:46And you noticed at the beginning of the clip, like he talks to
- 26:50Tucker and then he talks to the camera like a fourth wall break.
- 26:54That's all from the show too. So this is fun because I get to
- 27:03explain like pop culture to you, no?
- 27:09I get it. I get it.
- 27:10And then. And then Tucker's bit is
- 27:14pretending like his character on the show isn't a scumbag
- 27:17politician. Yeah, I get what's going on.
- 27:23I I suppose you'd have to be into that show to fucking truly
- 27:29get it. Yeah, well, I mean, it was a it
- 27:32was a huge cultural phenomenon. I'm.
- 27:36I'm but I've always been that. I'm not saying because I didn't
- 27:39hear of it, that it wasn't huge. I just live in a bubble away
- 27:43from one of my shit. Yeah.
- 27:45No, I mean. Intentionally so.
- 27:48Listen, I listen if it if it makes you feel any better, like
- 27:53Taylor Swift I guess One Time magazine like Times person of
- 27:58the Year and that doesn't mean anything to me because like I've
- 28:03like I can only name one song of her which is like which is Romeo
- 28:11and Juliet and I I don't even know how that song goes.
- 28:15So here's the thing from music perspective of Taylor Swift, she
- 28:22is quite talented. Yeah, not.
- 28:25There's there's no way around that.
- 28:27It's not my genre of music, but obviously if you follow the
- 28:31music business at all, you can't ignore what she's accomplished.
- 28:35And then on the add to that, of course that she's highly
- 28:39political, which is why they're pushing her so hard now.
- 28:43Ever. Since she endorsed the race like
- 28:45two years ago, now she's decided she's full on politics and the
- 28:50media is going to push her down every, you know, teen to mid 20
- 28:55girls throat as the greatest thing ever.
- 28:59Musically, her writing is is bad, right?
- 29:02It's bad. Yeah.
- 29:04It's written like the 14 year old girl she was when she wrote
- 29:08a lot of it and and even her newer stuff is still written
- 29:11like a 14 year old girl wrote it.
- 29:13Here's the thing, if it's 14 year old girls listening to it,
- 29:17that's fine. But also, you know, again as as
- 29:22a guy that's spent a lot of time in the music industry, you have
- 29:25to give credit to a girl that writes her own songs.
- 29:27I don't know if you knew this, Sam, but almost every major pop
- 29:31hit in the last 25 years was written by one Swedish guy, so
- 29:36it's nice to see people who write their own music, even if I
- 29:39fucking can't stand it. Yeah.
- 29:41No, I'm not. I'm not.
- 29:42I'm not denying her that. I'm.
- 29:44I'm not like. You know, I wanted just, I
- 29:46wanted to be fair, you know, just just from a fair
- 29:49perspective, what she's accomplished is quite
- 29:51impressive. Personally, I hope she I hope
- 29:58she fails at everything she does.
- 30:00But. Is it?
- 30:01Unlikely. Yeah.
- 30:03Is it person? Is it Person of the Year
- 30:05material though? I'm not sure anyway though.
- 30:10Well, it's not me, so it's clearly wrong.
- 30:13Right, right. So.
- 30:16Can only be one person of the year, right?
- 30:19And obviously every year they're wrong because they don't pick
- 30:22me. Well, no, the per, the PER, I
- 30:24think the Person of the Year should be Curt Doolittle, but
- 30:28that's, you know, that's just my opinion.
- 30:32He's certainly doing something, you know, interesting, but.
- 30:36I mean, heck, I I would, I would put Craig as Person of the Year,
- 30:43which, by the way, it's appropriate that your name is.
- 30:46Blame Max Sand on Twitter because I blame you for turning
- 30:51me into a fan of Of the Untitled.
- 30:57The fake untitled podcast. Yeah, it's so worth a listen.
- 31:02Them guys, man, some of their science debates are just fucking
- 31:05hilarious and they always like, I forget the other guy's name,
- 31:10but he's always like in opposition to anything, Craig
- 31:13says. And it's just so funny.
- 31:16Yeah, Evan or? No, the other guy.
- 31:21The other guy, Evan Evan, is more.
- 31:23Like Steve. Yeah, Steve, those two will just
- 31:26sit there and fucking. Like, if you find some of the
- 31:28older episodes, they'll scream at each other about like,
- 31:31science. It's great.
- 31:33I'm, I'm actually going to get Steve on the show at some point
- 31:38in 2024 because we're both from. I well, I I want to point out to
- 31:44him, and I will that like what what he does by making Craig
- 31:48crazy is the greatest thing on the Internet.
- 31:51Yeah. And he does it unintentionally.
- 31:54It's great. OK, yeah.
- 31:57So we're watching. So yeah, So this is a character
- 32:01from a show where he's playing a corrupt politician.
- 32:05And. Tucker's bit here is he's going
- 32:08to support this corrupt politician.
- 32:11Now he's just. I don't know.
- 32:14I don't know what Tucker's. See, that's the interesting
- 32:17thing is like, what is Tucker? What is Tucker?
- 32:20'S media. But he's the media who tells you
- 32:25that this is fine. And even though you know he
- 32:27knows otherwise, that's it. That's my take.
- 32:31Yeah, well, let's see. Believe that nothing should be
- 32:35off the table in life or an odd I think we could both agree that
- 32:39we need to get some adults back in the room.
- 32:41So if that means taking on the chief executive role, well,
- 32:44that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for this great nation.
- 32:47Adults in the room. I love it.
- 32:48I could see there's a bumper sticker.
- 32:49Is that your campaign slogan? Well, that's not a bad idea.
- 32:52Look, I think first our country needs to stop apologizing and
- 32:56stiffen up. I mean, look, we got so many
- 32:58people running around with so many different issues, like gun
- 33:01control, an important issue. But let's be honest, the truth
- 33:04is more people are killed by online trolls every day.
- 33:08That may be true, actually, but then they're protected by the
- 33:101st Amendment. They can say whatever they want.
- 33:13You believe in the First Amendment, I assume?
- 33:14Of course I do. Look, people spewing ridiculous
- 33:17ideas is nothing new, and they should always have that right.
- 33:21Even though in the show he kills like multiple journalists who
- 33:25try to expose his corruption. So a little inside joke there.
- 33:34Well, they had information that might lead to the arrest of
- 33:37Hillary. Nevermind.
- 33:38Yeah, yeah, exactly. But the problem is some are on
- 33:42the way. We started listening and we
- 33:44should remember the salient words of Benjamin Franklin, who
- 33:47said do not believe anything of what you hear and only half of
- 33:52what you see. He wasn't telling people to stop
- 33:54talking, he was telling us to stop listening.
- 33:56So let's stop blaming bots and college kids and start telling
- 34:00leaders what leadership really means.
- 34:03I love it, but how do you do that?
- 34:05Well, this country admired so much contradiction and
- 34:08confusion, we don't even know how we can help anyone anymore
- 34:11because we can't agree. Who needs help?
- 34:14I mean, what doesn't come with a trigger warning these days?
- 34:16I mean, Tucker, we are far too close to having a beanbag chair
- 34:20in the Oval Office. We coddled.
- 34:21Everybody. OK?
- 34:22You think you're a rabbit, that's fine.
- 34:24But let me tell you something. You sure as hell aren't going to
- 34:27see someone walking through my White House in Bunny ears and a
- 34:29tail. Unless it's Easter.
- 34:31Why, Ben? But how do you think we got here
- 34:33in the first place? Fear, fear, and then some more
- 34:37fear. That's been the consistent theme
- 34:39fear, and that's why I'm going to keep saying we need to get
- 34:42some adults back in the room. Sounds like you're running.
- 34:44If you did run, I assume it would be as an independent.
- 34:47Well, I've always been independent my whole life, no
- 34:50matter what my party affiliation, even though at the
- 34:52moment I don't quite recognize my old party.
- 34:55So at what point would you get in if you did?
- 34:58Well, I think there's time. I've never been afraid to show
- 35:01up a little late for the dance. But lots of people want to be
- 35:04president. What would you specifically
- 35:06bring that others aren't? Well, I think I have a long and
- 35:10very solid relationship with the public, and that's a bond that
- 35:13has never been broken. I mean, I've almost felt like I
- 35:16can talk to them directly. But I mean, you do talk to them
- 35:19every Christmas you give a statement.
- 35:21It is Christmas Eve. What is your statement
- 35:24specifically this year? You know, Tucker, I think it's
- 35:26just good enough to sip some eggnog and decorate the tree and
- 35:30listen to White Christmas and embrace all the things that make
- 35:33this such a special day. The truth is, I love nothing
- 35:37better on this day than to do a line of blow, drink a whiskey
- 35:40and Coke, hit a reindeer with my car and wish you all the
- 35:43naughtiest Christmas ever. You know, you and I have
- 35:45something in common, actually. Oh yes, we both got canned by
- 35:49our network. True, but they actually tried to
- 35:51kill you. Yes, but here we are, Tucker,
- 35:54bigger than ever. So looking back on all the
- 35:56drama, do you think that Legacy Media played a role in what
- 36:00happened to you? Look, I think they're trying to
- 36:02do their best to stay relevant. Look, platforms like X, I mean,
- 36:06you move information around so quick that everybody else is
- 36:08just playing catch up. Legacy Media's diligence has
- 36:11turned out to be they just cut and paste what some trusted
- 36:14outlet does. I mean, look, this will be a
- 36:16good example. Watch how they report on this
- 36:19conversation. There'll be one or two headlines
- 36:21that get repeated over and over and over.
- 36:23I think actually if legacy media wants to survive, they're going
- 36:26to have to start slowing down. That's smart.
- 36:29I agree with that. By the way, do you watch Netflix
- 36:31anymore? Probably as much as you watch
- 36:33Fox. Bear So that doesn't mean that
- 36:38you're gone though from Netflix. I don't.
- 36:39I don't even know if you're aware of this, But every time a
- 36:43person pulls up the Netflix app, you're there in some way.
- 36:47Have you seen this? Yes, you know what that is?
- 36:55Boom. Boom.
- 36:57So it is bizarre that they decided to publicly cut ties
- 37:00with me on allegations alone, allegations that have now been
- 37:03proven false. Because I don't think there's
- 37:05any question Netflix exists because of me.
- 37:09I put them on the map and they tried to put me in the ground.
- 37:12Do do you think within Netflix in the leadership suites that
- 37:15your influence is still felt? Well, according to your
- 37:18research, my influence is felt every time every customer opens
- 37:20the app. I'd say that's pretty powerful.
- 37:22That's true. When are you getting back to
- 37:24work, by the way? Oh, I've been back at work from
- 37:26the moment we started talking, Tucker.
- 37:29So does that mean this is like an episode or is it real?
- 37:33Well, it's probably a little of both.
- 37:35I mean, Tucker, what's true, What's false?
- 37:39What's life, What's art? What's real?
- 37:42What's performance? I love it when these things
- 37:45intersect, because then it gets interesting.
- 37:49What role do you see yourself playing going forward?
- 37:53I will play whatever role the public wants me to play.
- 37:57And what about you, Tucker? What role do you want to play?
- 37:59I mean, if I run, I'm going to need a vice president.
- 38:02I'll sleep on it. I mean, people have already
- 38:05gotten out of the race. People have dropped out already.
- 38:07Have you thought? What do you think of those?
- 38:09Well, you know, it's a little bit like jumping in the Jacuzzi
- 38:14with a boner, you know, it ain't going to last forever.
- 38:17So I wasn't surprised when Mike, a little too pensive, jumped out
- 38:21right. Away I wasn't either.
- 38:24But what about the candidates who are still in?
- 38:26Well, I like Vivek Drain the Ramaswamy, and Nikki Haley is
- 38:33tough. She's no doubt learned a thing
- 38:34or two by watching me. But I think in the end we need
- 38:39someone in the White House who's not afraid like me, not afraid
- 38:43to push our country, or a journalist in the right
- 38:47direction, if it comes to that. I sure appreciate your coming
- 38:50out. It was great to see you.
- 38:51Thank you. Well, thank you, Tucker.
- 38:53I only showed up because I was told I would get to be on X, not
- 38:56the drug, not the platform. I was curious as to what Tucker
- 38:59on X might be like. I have never tried that.
- 39:02Well, you wouldn't be the first guy to tell me you've never
- 39:04tried that before. So that's that broke the
- 39:13Internet today, I guess. Yeah, I I just went and typed in
- 39:19Kevin Spacey to see what they were saying about it.
- 39:21It is pretty funny. Let's see.
- 39:25Variety, Kevin and Facey and Tucker released Bizarre
- 39:30Christmas video. Huff, PO, Kevin, Spacey and
- 39:34Tucker team up and weird. They they'd love to say that.
- 39:36It's weird. I agree it is weird.
- 39:39It is. But like that, that's Kevin.
- 39:42Like, like we said, that's Kevin Spacey's thing now is like doing
- 39:46this character and he he does it like every, every Christmas Eve
- 39:51like now whether it's so. Can I just say that yes, he he
- 40:00didn't get, by the way, it wasn't a criminal charge, so he
- 40:03wasn't acquitted. He just won a lawsuit.
- 40:07He did admit to the allegations. So I don't feel bad saying gay
- 40:13pedophile, he said. He said that I just had it up
- 40:19too, but he essentially said that, Oh well, if that happened
- 40:22and I was drunk, I'm really sorry.
- 40:26And also turns out, yeah, I'm actually gay.
- 40:30And now I'm. Oh yeah.
- 40:32Oh yeah. I do remember.
- 40:33I do remember when that happened.
- 40:35So. It was the same thing he said.
- 40:38He said that if this happened, the specific allegation being
- 40:42levelled against him. He said if that happened, I
- 40:45don't remember 'cause I was really drunk and so I owe you
- 40:48the sincerest apology. Bro was 14.
- 40:54Probably not the best way to put it, but.
- 40:57Yeah. He didn't say, oh, that
- 41:00definitely didn't happen. He said, Well, if it happened, I
- 41:04was drunk. Well, yeah, you know, when I
- 41:06raped that kid. Come on.
- 41:11Yeah. What an I'm not even saying like
- 41:15maybe the guy is making it all up, but you don't do yourself
- 41:19any favor when you're like, yeah, I might have been drunk.
- 41:24Yeah, yeah, that is a little what what I don't understand,
- 41:31it's like, and I'm not saying that you're saying this or that
- 41:36anyone else is saying this. I have some, I have seen like
- 41:40some bizarre people who are like, well, Tucker platformed A
- 41:45pedophile. So therefore he must also be a
- 41:48pedophile. And that's why I say Hollywood
- 41:53are all pedophiles, I guess so. Fair enough, yeah.
- 41:58I mean me. I mean me.
- 42:00The person that analities I I guess so.
- 42:05But anyway, someone wanted people kept like asked me to you
- 42:10know comment on that. So I figured rather than write
- 42:13like a post about, I would just cover live on the Christmas
- 42:18tree. So.
- 42:21Am I the only guy in the world that, like, didn't see this
- 42:25show? I mean I didn't see until like 2
- 42:32hours ago to be fair because I was busy and wiped.
- 42:35No, no, I mean the show that the Whatever house.
- 42:38Oh, House of Cards. I mean, maybe I.
- 42:44It was one of them big Netflix series and that's the thing I
- 42:48have not gotten into any Netflix series ever.
- 42:52Listen, I. I'm not even sure I have.
- 42:54I think we have Netflix, but I wouldn't know how to log into
- 42:59it. Listen, people are still upset
- 43:03that I've never watched The Walking Dead.
- 43:07I've not watched that. I've not watched Game of
- 43:09Thrones, which is right up my alley, but those ones are
- 43:12different because those ones I didn't watch for a reason.
- 43:17You see when the shows were airing, right?
- 43:20I'm a gamer and I was playing online games.
- 43:23And so when those shows would air, people in the chat would
- 43:27talk about the show and spoil it.
- 43:29And I would just be like, well, never watching that.
- 43:32Oh yeah, yeah. I don't watch shit it like I'm
- 43:36not even one of those, like, people that's like, Oh no
- 43:39spoilers, oh spoilers is the worst ever.
- 43:41But if you spoil it for me, I probably won't watch it.
- 43:46Yeah, no, I'm, I'm, I'm the guy where like if you spoil
- 43:50something and it's, you know, if you spoil something it's like
- 43:54really bad or something, I'm actually glad because then it's
- 43:57like, oh you saved me X amount of money or you saved me X
- 44:03amount of time or. Well, but.
- 44:06So. Excuse me?
- 44:14And Max is dying on stream folks.
- 44:20Maybe. Got a little, you know, you get
- 44:24something in your throat, jeez. That's.
- 44:29Just the spoilers weren't for bad things, though.
- 44:33That's. Yeah, it's just like, oh, I
- 44:35really want everybody else to watch this show.
- 44:38So I'm going to tell them everything that happens.
- 44:41That seems to be how some people operate.
- 44:43That seems to be how some people like to watch shows.
- 44:46To be honest, they like to know ahead of time, not me.
- 44:51The moment you spoiled anything in The Walking Dead, a character
- 44:54I've never heard of dying. I'm just like, well, but now I
- 44:58know. But I'm going to be waiting for
- 45:00that. And fuck, it's not worth my
- 45:03time. I had.
- 45:05I had no idea that Meghan Markle or whatever her name, the new,
- 45:10like Princess or whatever I had. I had no idea that she was an
- 45:14that she was an actor. And people were like, really?
- 45:19You didn't know that? And I'm like, no.
- 45:23I'm like no. I see no more than anybody,
- 45:29right? Like, she could be in, like the
- 45:30biggest movie in the world. And I would.
- 45:34I literally don't. Aside from this, I'm not a Kevin
- 45:38Spacey guy. I know he's huge, right?
- 45:41What? Besides Footloose, What was he
- 45:43in 'cause I know that one. He was in like LA Confidential.
- 45:52Never seen it? He was in seven with Brad Pitt.
- 45:58Heard of but not seen it. Yeah.
- 46:03You're going to pull movies out that I've never seen for a
- 46:06while. I can almost guarantee it.
- 46:08Yeah. And yeah, no, those are the only
- 46:11two that I can think of off the top of my head.
- 46:14But. I know he was in a Call of Duty
- 46:17game. Yeah, well, that too.
- 46:23If only it fit. You know what I mean?
- 46:26I well my I don't know if I told you but like I I was.
- 46:32I found out that like my Santa hat like completely
- 46:37disintegrated and like and by the time I found out like it was
- 46:46it was too late to order off of Amazon and my mom's like I'm not
- 46:50running to the to the store to get a Santa hat.
- 46:55See see here's what it was is my wife was like.
- 46:58Oh, I'll get you one by the the Wednesday, right?
- 47:03And then Wednesday was there and she hadn't, and then she had to
- 47:06go shopping. And that's why she was so
- 47:09excited that she was able to bring it home.
- 47:11But this was literally the only one they had.
- 47:13So, like, it was either this not fitting one or she wasn't doing
- 47:17it. And she paid more for it than I
- 47:19think she should have, to be honest with you.
- 47:23So I got two out of it. Yeah.
- 47:26Well, yeah. Well, I mean, that's good.
- 47:31I I'm just letting people know it wasn't for a lack of trying
- 47:34on my end. The hat, like I've I've had for
- 47:37years, literally disintegrated And so I'm wearing my old man
- 47:44winter hat, even though it's you know, even though I live in
- 47:51Florida because why not So any like I guess holiday, you know
- 48:03it's almost Christmas Day. You're probably going to be
- 48:08opening presents. I I guess I'm.
- 48:12Getting them out for the night so that they'll be ready for the
- 48:16boy in the morning, that's the plan tonight.
- 48:21That's good. I had to kick my wife out to
- 48:25wrap her present and that was way harder than it should have
- 48:28been because I was trying to give her subtle reasons to go
- 48:31upstairs. And she had brought the wrapping
- 48:36paper down and I was like, Oh yeah, you're really cold down
- 48:39here. Maybe you should go upstairs.
- 48:41And then it was like I came up with like 14 different reasons
- 48:45why she should go upstairs for 5 minutes and.
- 48:48Then. Finally, I just had to say, hey
- 48:53scram, I'm wrapping your gift. And she was like, Oh well, why
- 48:57didn't you just say that? So I buy I I always buy my mom
- 49:04books for Christmas because she reads, she's a reader and she's
- 49:11into, she's into garden design books.
- 49:14But I also bought her Elon Musk's biography because I
- 49:18thought she'd like that too. And we were at, we were at
- 49:23books-a-million, which is like the local, it's like the
- 49:27bookstore chain here in Florida on Black Friday.
- 49:30And the the hardest thing was she kept like picking out the
- 49:35books that that, like, I had already gotten for her.
- 49:40Well, she and my stepdad were abroad.
- 49:43And so every time she would pick up like, I'm like, oh, you know,
- 49:48I don't like. I I was basically like trying to
- 49:51like be like, I don't, you know, like maybe you should wait until
- 49:57after Christmas or you know, something to like.
- 50:02It's really hard when it's really hard when someone wants
- 50:05to buy something for Christmas but like, you've already bought
- 50:09it for them. So, like, yeah.
- 50:14My big thing this year is, and I I'm probably not getting any
- 50:19presents because I specifically asked people like I there's
- 50:24nothing I need. So spend that money on my son
- 50:31rather than me. That's been my so if you were
- 50:35gonna get him a a present and then me something worth $20,
- 50:39take that extra $20, put it towards him.
- 50:44Well. Because I am not a material.
- 50:46I was just having this argument with my wife, 'cause she was
- 50:48like, what do you mean, don't get you anything?
- 50:51And I'm like, look, if you get me something that's nice, I'm
- 50:54not gonna be like, oh fuck you, you got me a present.
- 50:57I'm just saying I am at a point in my life as a 40 year old man
- 51:03that I don't need things, that on Christmas being together is
- 51:11more than enough. For example, I helped her pick a
- 51:14present for her mom recently. Her mom has had some issues with
- 51:21a friend of hers being a bit too in her space, let's say and.
- 51:30Gotcha. Because she she broke her back
- 51:33in October. I think I've mentioned this
- 51:35before. And so we've all been trying to
- 51:38help out and this woman has been coming over and helping out too.
- 51:41That lives and she lives in like an old people place by herself.
- 51:45And so this other woman there is helping her out.
- 51:47I don't like the other woman. But then there became this
- 51:51problem somehow. A picture of her, my my
- 51:56mother-in-law and my father-in-law from their
- 51:59wedding. It's just a picture of them
- 52:01holding hands, just their hands on the table during their
- 52:05wedding that she had framed and had on her shelf for 35 years,
- 52:12magically disappeared when this woman cleaned her house.
- 52:16And so my idea for a Christmas present was, well, why don't we
- 52:21just get that picture? I was like, first thing I was
- 52:24like, well, there's a copy of this picture.
- 52:25I hope my wife was like, yes, I have it.
- 52:28And I was like, well, why don't we get a nice print of it maybe.
- 52:32And and we did in the end put four other pictures like like
- 52:37her and and her husband when he was alive.
- 52:41The whole family with me and my son and my wife and them, just
- 52:46her and my son and just her husband and my son.
- 52:50That was the idea. So it's the whole family, right?
- 52:54And and frame it real nice. And that gift cost about $3 and
- 53:01then another couple dollars for A-frame.
- 53:04And it's gonna be the most impactful gift we give this
- 53:07year. I guarantee it.
- 53:08So yeah, just, you know, if you're out there and if you're
- 53:12thinking, man, you know, I gotta spend more money on Christmas.
- 53:16Not all, usually. Not actually, except for kids.
- 53:19Kids is different. But even kids, when it comes to
- 53:23kids, it's like the kid wants something very specific is what
- 53:27gets expensive, but everything else can be not, if that makes
- 53:33sense, right? Right.
- 53:37Of course we don't do, we're not doing big electronics this year.
- 53:41I mean, it's a tough year for everybody.
- 53:43Yeah. His His big thing he asked for
- 53:46was Godzilla. I still have yet to wrap it.
- 53:49And I got this. It's Godzilla.
- 53:52I I don't know if the glares too much, but it's Godzilla fighting
- 53:56King Kong from the news and it has like a diorama city you can
- 54:04build that's all blown up. Yeah, well, that's.
- 54:10Considering what this is and how big everything is, it really
- 54:14shouldn't have been $70. But that's welcome.
- 54:19To Bill Biden's America. Yeah.
- 54:22Well and well, and that's toy companies for you too.
- 54:25So. Well, I.
- 54:27The last same thing three years ago would have been 20 bucks,
- 54:30but it's, you know, that's that's his big thing right
- 54:34there. There's no it's just a toy,
- 54:36'cause he likes playing with his Godzilla figures and his he's
- 54:40he's got a whole bunch of other, don't get me wrong, he's got to
- 54:43have so many fucking presents to open and it's absurd.
- 54:47Yeah, well, I. Mean.
- 54:49You're also getting a new TV from his grandmother, so I
- 54:52guess. Yeah.
- 54:55I just get this old and like the pixels, they're starting to wear
- 54:58out. Oh my God, that's nice.
- 55:03Speaking of grandmothers, So my my grandmother who's 89, she's
- 55:12the she's really the only grandparent I have left.
- 55:18My my mom's mom bought me some. She actually bought me an early
- 55:24Christmas present, which was some writing software that I've
- 55:31wanted. And hence that's why I did the
- 55:36the reformatting on my book, because I was finally able to
- 55:41format it the way I actually wanted to initially with this,
- 55:47with this software instead of using the freebie the Amazon.
- 55:54So, and for those who have read the book, I dedicated the book
- 56:02to to her when it came out in June because she's the one, or
- 56:07in July because she's the one that got me into reading Throne
- 56:12novels in the 1st place. So.
- 56:15You got to be proud, right? Yeah, well, don't you?
- 56:18And also, I mean at her age too. Like, I know it's cliche to say
- 56:24you don't know how much time you're going to have, but you
- 56:30know, like I lost my grandfather, you know, earlier
- 56:35this year and. Famously got banned for it.
- 56:41Yeah, yeah, yeah, I I explained that.
- 56:45I explained that to my mom and and at first she's like, what do
- 56:48you mean you got banned off YouTube for talking at my about
- 56:53your grandfather, my my dad. And I'm like, well, that's
- 56:57specifically what I was talking at when I got banned.
- 57:00You weren't. Even specifically talking about
- 57:01him, you were talking about, oh, you know, I had a couple weeks
- 57:05off. I'm sorry about that.
- 57:07I was doing this and I had to go to the funeral and it was like
- 57:10it was about your travel more than anything else.
- 57:14Yeah, yeah. So you didn't even?
- 57:18Curse it's. Like, no.
- 57:22So, so you know, and and during that time I was actually writing
- 57:31the book. So I'm like, you know what?
- 57:33Like she's still alive and I'm going to dedicate this to her
- 57:38because a she's the one that got me into thrills, would be like,
- 57:42I want her to be able to see it while she's still alive.
- 57:45So it means something. And it did.
- 57:49So I got her. I got her a reprint of the book
- 57:55for Christmas the. Nice new one right under the
- 57:58tree. That'd be great.
- 57:59She she already has the you know, she already has the
- 58:03original edition too. But you know, it'll be nice and
- 58:07I buy it. You know, I can buy copies at
- 58:10cost. So it, you know, it's not that
- 58:12much money, but you know she has everything in the world and so.
- 58:17But yeah, it means a lot to her, because what she doesn't have is
- 58:20a dedication in an actual novel published by her grandson.
- 58:23And now she does. Well, she well, she has it twice
- 58:27now. So, yeah, yeah.
- 58:28But you know what? I mean, That's a great gift.
- 58:29Yeah, that's an absolutely great gift.
- 58:33And you know, and also I. Mean for and and like let's
- 58:36let's not fucking, let's not beat around the Bush.
- 58:39A lot of people probably told her throughout her life that you
- 58:42weren't going to amount to anything.
- 58:44Right. Right.
- 58:46Like and and and and this goes like I give much credit to your
- 58:49parents. You know, even if you don't have
- 58:51the best relationship with your dad is it doesn't seem like they
- 58:54took that mentality. No, I mean and I and I will and
- 58:58I and I I will see. People with kids who or or
- 59:02disabled in some way, maybe even less than you and they do give
- 59:07up on them. So I just, you know that's a
- 59:10that's admirable. Yeah, well, and I mean, and the
- 59:13other thing that I've always admired both my parents for is
- 59:18they could have spent money basically suing the hospital
- 59:23where I was born for basically fucking up.
- 59:26Because that is basically what happened.
- 59:30I I have cerebral palsy because the hospital fucked up and
- 59:36they're the most. Common case scenario, right?
- 59:38And I and I've actually, I've, I've actually talked about that.
- 59:42So if people want to go back in the archives on either Rumble or
- 59:46Spotify, it's a few years old. But people can find that
- 59:50episode. But irregardless, as I've
- 59:53mentioned before, they could have, they could have, they
- 59:57could have sued the hospital and spent all that money, but
- 1:00:01instead they spent on physical therapy and.
- 1:00:07Probably the right call. Yeah.
- 1:00:10And people have always said, well, you could have, you could
- 1:00:13have gotten so much more money if you had, if you had sued
- 1:00:17them. But like they did the math.
- 1:00:19If you didn't go in on physical therapy, you might not be here
- 1:00:24today. Right.
- 1:00:25This is what people don't understand, is that they did
- 1:00:29they or did they not tell you that you probably going to die
- 1:00:32young, right? Or not you?
- 1:00:33But they told your parents that, certainly.
- 1:00:35Yeah, well they, well, they they literally said that I'd be a
- 1:00:38vegetable my entire life. And you know the prognosis isn't
- 1:00:45great. You know if it.
- 1:00:47If it's that case, so but. But that doesn't mean it's set
- 1:00:52in stone and you're living proof of it.
- 1:00:54Right. And and and I'd say I think they
- 1:00:57made the right decision because I personally feel that it makes
- 1:01:01a lot of sense that if you didn't go all in on physical
- 1:01:04therapy and instead we're kind of weighing on the results of a
- 1:01:08court battle that could take most of your life, who's who's
- 1:01:11to say where you'd be today. Right, exactly.
- 1:01:16You know it's not so I'm thankful for both my parents.
- 1:01:20I'm also thankful for my white uncle who isn't here, which by
- 1:01:24the way that that kind brings me to my other point because there
- 1:01:29are a lot of people in this audience, some of whom you may
- 1:01:32know of who have either lost relatives and or gone through
- 1:01:39divorces and so a a a couple weeks ago.
- 1:01:43I'm actually glad that you're here for this acts because some
- 1:01:48people, I guess, kind of misunderstood what we were
- 1:01:52saying a few weeks ago and we said that the holidays were time
- 1:01:56to be jolly and not to be sad because there were people at
- 1:01:59because some people said, well. And I get that no, no, don't
- 1:02:03don't misread me that if if look if you've lost somebody and the
- 1:02:07holidays are hard for you, I understand that.
- 1:02:10Yeah. But my advice still remains
- 1:02:14because I feel that odds are if you if if the person died, they
- 1:02:20probably don't want you to be miserable in their name.
- 1:02:24That's my take. That that.
- 1:02:26Well, that's exactly what I was going to say because my my uncle
- 1:02:29Gary, who I've mentioned before his birthday was, his birthday
- 1:02:36is on December 23rd and yeah. That's rough.
- 1:02:41Were he still here, he would be. He would be 72 years old, but he
- 1:02:48died like he died almost eight years ago and he died two weeks
- 1:02:54before Christmas. And you know, I can tell you
- 1:02:59from personal experience that Christmas was devastating.
- 1:03:05So I get it at the same time. But it's but but it's.
- 1:03:11You got to remember, it's the first of many.
- 1:03:15Well, and it gets better. I promise you, gentlemen, if
- 1:03:19you're the type that's listening to our show, that means that you
- 1:03:22in some way, shape or form aren't completely black pilled,
- 1:03:27right? And if you're not?
- 1:03:30Then you got to remember that next year will be a little
- 1:03:33easier in the year after, in the year after.
- 1:03:36And look, my grandfather, I I don't talk about the.
- 1:03:39I talk about my grandfather a lot.
- 1:03:40Actually, 'cause he was the most influential person in my life.
- 1:03:43He was the only adult who gave a shit that I was alive, except as
- 1:03:47a punching bag from until he died.
- 1:03:50And he died right before Christmas, right before, like, I
- 1:03:54think it was the 21st. Oh yeah, yeah, that.
- 1:03:59That's about when my uncle died, too.
- 1:04:01You know, but sitting here almost that 27 years later or
- 1:04:06more than 27 years later, I don't think that he would want
- 1:04:11me to be depressed about that. I think he would want me to
- 1:04:14remember what I do, which is like he was the king of fucking
- 1:04:18Christmas, you know, He was the thing of Christmas.
- 1:04:22He would bring you the best gifts, you know, at least for I
- 1:04:25was his favorite grandchild and he made no secret about that.
- 1:04:28So that's one of. Those things, yeah.
- 1:04:30Same. Same with.
- 1:04:31Same with Gare. I mean, I I I have, I have like
- 1:04:34two of the cousin cousins, both of whom are, you know, also boys
- 1:04:39or I guess you know, men now. But I have the three I I was the
- 1:04:44one who was always his son. But I have.
- 1:04:49I have something close to 30 cousins on that side of the
- 1:04:52family, and I was his. Like, even if he didn't say I
- 1:04:56was his favorite, they all fucking knew it.
- 1:04:59Yeah, yeah, yeah, I. Lived with him every summer,
- 1:05:04right? Like told everyone I was his
- 1:05:07son. He didn't say grandson, he said
- 1:05:09I was his and he said I was his only son, which is why my uncle
- 1:05:13hates me. That my.
- 1:05:14Uncle embarrassed him so. That was, that was kind.
- 1:05:19That was kind how Gary Gary never had any kids because he
- 1:05:26was, he was an alcoholic. He He was.
- 1:05:31He was a. He was, he was a high
- 1:05:34functioning alcoholic who knew that he wouldn't be able to
- 1:05:38like, be responsible and have kids so.
- 1:05:42But my Uncle Joe, he passed this last year.
- 1:05:46This is like that too. He was a confirmed bachelor.
- 1:05:49He didn't want kids, 'cause he knew he was.
- 1:05:51He like drinking and partying, and he really wasn't.
- 1:05:55He didn't want to raise kids. But he loved his nephews, and
- 1:05:58especially me, because his big thing in life, what he really
- 1:06:02wanted to do, was on Fridays and Saturdays he'd go out and party
- 1:06:06the week he'd work and he'd just be sitting there reading Star
- 1:06:09Trek. Like he loved Star Trek novels.
- 1:06:12And me being a reader, when I went over his house, I was a
- 1:06:16library. Like he had every Star Trek
- 1:06:19novel, which is a. Lot.
- 1:06:21A lot. More than he would ever think.
- 1:06:24And so I would just get to take a book with me, you know, And he
- 1:06:27didn't want kids himself in his case.
- 1:06:30And maybe your uncle is is in a similar situation, maybe not.
- 1:06:35He did have a long term relationship with a woman when
- 1:06:38he was younger and it didn't work out and then after that he
- 1:06:41kind of decided that maybe marriage isn't for me.
- 1:06:45Gary well, Gary actually was married and they they never
- 1:06:49have, they never had kids. And it was one of those things
- 1:06:53where between between his alcoholism and the fact that she
- 1:06:58didn't have any kids, my aunt at the time, Juliette, wanted she
- 1:07:06wanted out of the she wanted out of the marriage.
- 1:07:09And my grandparents like hated her for it.
- 1:07:12But my dad and I both under understood, and even Gary
- 1:07:17understood. Well, that's what I was gonna
- 1:07:19say. It sounds a lot like with my
- 1:07:21Uncle Joe again. They weren't married, but he was
- 1:07:24living that kind of life. He wasn't looking at having kids
- 1:07:28anytime soon. She was at a different place and
- 1:07:31she couldn't live that kind of confirmed bachelor lifestyle.
- 1:07:36I was actually getting into this with you about your friend Nash
- 1:07:39not that long ago. He says that his intent is to be
- 1:07:44a confirmed bachelor. I actually support that.
- 1:07:46The reason you don't hear me talk about it a lot for those
- 1:07:49that are in the audience and they're like, Max, I've never
- 1:07:51heard you say this before is because I'm talking to guys who
- 1:07:55clearly want not to be confirmed bachelors, right?
- 1:08:00And I don't want that. So I can't give that advice.
- 1:08:03But you have to understand that there's some men aren't family
- 1:08:08guys. They just aren't right?
- 1:08:11And maybe if they became them, they would actually be bad at
- 1:08:15it. Or maybe they just don't want
- 1:08:18that. You know, there's nothing,
- 1:08:22there's nothing wrong with that except there's a couple ground
- 1:08:25rules, right? Is you don't want to go get
- 1:08:27getting a bunch of women knocked up.
- 1:08:29If you're going to do that right, you don't want to have a
- 1:08:31bunch of kids that you're not taking care of.
- 1:08:33That's one and then and and then two.
- 1:08:36You know, is confirmed. Bachelors tend to get really,
- 1:08:41really, really lonely, especially later in life.
- 1:08:44And if you're one of the people that can't handle that, then it
- 1:08:46might be the that's not the path for you.
- 1:08:50But there are some people that they're just fine that way.
- 1:08:53And I and I and I will admit that is kind of and if if Nash
- 1:09:00is listening to this by by chance I don't know if he is or
- 1:09:04not but you know and and since he and since he's not accepting
- 1:09:10DMS I'll say this publicly but that is one of my concerns is
- 1:09:14yes later in life some of these bachelors do get lonely they
- 1:09:20they can't cope and that's exactly what happened to Gary.
- 1:09:25So it is a double edged sword. You know with that being said it
- 1:09:31was his. I mean, I I was, I was angry at
- 1:09:35him when he when he died and it took me kind.
- 1:09:39It took me a few years to realize that it was his decision
- 1:09:43and I forgave him. And you know, now I try, and now
- 1:09:48I try and live, you know? But that's what I was doing.
- 1:09:54The one thing about bachelors that I find who seem to have
- 1:09:59been happy with that situation, Your uncle's example.
- 1:10:02Mine is an example. They found that sense of family
- 1:10:07through nephews, nieces, etcetera.
- 1:10:10If you can find that sense of being a part of a family still,
- 1:10:15it seems like you could. And you're the type of person
- 1:10:18that's like, you got to be predisposed to be OK with being
- 1:10:20alone anyway. Some guys are right.
- 1:10:24Well, that that's that's the thing that was Gary.
- 1:10:28I mean it it's it's complex because Gary was at the same
- 1:10:32time he had, he dealt with loneliness, which is why he
- 1:10:36drank too. So you know, again, it's a
- 1:10:39double edged. To to to do the bachelor thing.
- 1:10:44The confirmed bachelor right is very, very hard to do without
- 1:10:50ending yourself up in like a really depressive state.
- 1:10:53And I and I hate that, but there are guys that that like it's
- 1:10:58perfect for them so. Yeah.
- 1:11:02You know, I don't think that if you're not that guy and most of
- 1:11:05the people watching this aren't that guy.
- 1:11:07Most of the people I talk to aren't that guy.
- 1:11:09Because most guys aren't that guy.
- 1:11:12My, my other, my other advice though is if if you've lost a
- 1:11:18relative over the holidays, and I do know some people who have
- 1:11:24lost relatives today. And in fact, I hate to say this
- 1:11:31because it might seem like I'm diminishing what you may be
- 1:11:36going through if you're in this situation, but there's a but
- 1:11:39there's always there's always someone who in fact has worse.
- 1:11:46And what I mean by that is I lost my uncle on December 21st,
- 1:11:518 years ago. And I was really sad and I
- 1:11:55thought I was having the worst Christmas ever until like two
- 1:12:00years later, two of my friends from high school lost their mom
- 1:12:07in a car accident on Christmas Eve.
- 1:12:12Now I'm not necessarily saying that like, that losing girl was
- 1:12:18any easier, but it's like, wow, they lost her mom on Christmas
- 1:12:24Eve. Well, and and you can go further
- 1:12:27to that. This is why I always say modern
- 1:12:30people are such babies, OK? If you were born in a certain
- 1:12:35place in a certain time, you lived your entire life from
- 1:12:40birth to death with somebody with a fucking whip behind you
- 1:12:45telling you what to do. And that wasn't that long ago.
- 1:12:48Or how about this 100 years ago? If you had three children, one
- 1:12:56of them is going to die before they reach 18 years old.
- 1:12:59That was 100 years ago. Did.
- 1:13:01You know that. Yeah.
- 1:13:02No, no, I actually did because. But Louis CK actually has a bit
- 1:13:08about like that's why so many kids like you'll have back in
- 1:13:13the old days were named like sometimes it would be Steven
- 1:13:17Steve because one of the Steves would ineptly die.
- 1:13:23And so oh, this Steve died. Oh, we have.
- 1:13:27We have other Steve though. He made it, you know, or.
- 1:13:33But but my point being is like, we in the modern world are the
- 1:13:37least likely in human history to be a victim of interpersonal
- 1:13:40violence. We're the least likely to be
- 1:13:44affected by starvation. And just, you know, a modern,
- 1:13:50like, everybody's like, oh, modernity is so, so fucking
- 1:13:53terrible. But you're also ignoring a lot
- 1:13:57of the fucking side effects of us being modern is that you're
- 1:14:00even able to bitch about it. Right.
- 1:14:03That's a side effect, right? And yeah, there is, There is war
- 1:14:08and whatnot. We're not ignoring that, but
- 1:14:10like historically speaking, we do.
- 1:14:13Live. Even with all the wars going on
- 1:14:16right now, you are still historically less likely to be a
- 1:14:19victim of violence at the hands of a human being than ever in
- 1:14:23history. Yeah, we are at the most
- 1:14:25peaceful time in human civilization and that right
- 1:14:28there is a gift in in of itself and.
- 1:14:33It's also scary because we see what's out in front of us and
- 1:14:36it's like, damn, if it was crazier than this, then that's
- 1:14:39kind of the, I mean people feel with it all and I get that.
- 1:14:44But you you got to keep things in perspective.
- 1:14:48I I say this about people you know like, like with you, right?
- 1:14:51Is like what you consider the normal would be a very big
- 1:14:56struggle for a lot of people who haven't been through the
- 1:14:59conditions. Of life you have right.
- 1:15:02You don't. You don't think twice about, OK,
- 1:15:05I got to go get something and you just hop down and start
- 1:15:07crawling. And to a lot of people, you
- 1:15:11know, they couldn't even fathom that.
- 1:15:13Right. But to you, that's just OK.
- 1:15:15It's Tuesday. Well.
- 1:15:17I need a beard. Well, and and part of the reason
- 1:15:20for that though was because, and I'm not even trying to toot my
- 1:15:24own horn and say I'm a perfect person, but part of that is
- 1:15:27because I have seen kids who are vegetables and who are, like far
- 1:15:34worse off. I have as well.
- 1:15:36And and it's. Kind of.
- 1:15:38And at that. I've seen them be labeled as the
- 1:15:41exact same thing you've got. Yeah.
- 1:15:44You know, I if people want to know what cerebral palsy and its
- 1:15:48worst case looks like, it's pretty fucking ugly.
- 1:15:51It's pretty. It's pretty heartbreaking It.
- 1:15:54It can. It can even be.
- 1:15:55It can even be like scary. And in some cases, not so much.
- 1:16:00Now I'm an adult, but like as as a kid, I would see, I would see
- 1:16:05some, you know, kids. And I mean some of them.
- 1:16:11I I hate to say. Am I?
- 1:16:13Going to be that one day, How would you know, right?
- 1:16:18Yeah. That yeah, I I the pastor for my
- 1:16:23my wife's family church. He adopts kids and he's adopted.
- 1:16:28They're adults now, but he's adopted several with Down
- 1:16:31syndrome. Right.
- 1:16:32And that's why I say I know people who have given up on
- 1:16:35their kids for less because he he raised those two kids because
- 1:16:40they were giving up, because they had Down syndrome and the
- 1:16:43parents were we can't fucking handle it, Those two kids now,
- 1:16:47by the way, one of them is a head administrator at a homeless
- 1:16:53charity and the other one is he is basically the other
- 1:16:58understudy with his dad to become the preacher for the
- 1:17:02church. Wow, that.
- 1:17:04Yeah, that's that's impressive. These these were and they're
- 1:17:08then they're wonderful people and they give me the biggest hug
- 1:17:11when they see me and everything. It's it's you know, but they are
- 1:17:16not the waste case that the parents who abandoned them
- 1:17:22thought. They're actually productive
- 1:17:24members of society, and in fact probably nicer than the average
- 1:17:28person to be honest with you. That's.
- 1:17:31Yeah, I know that's. Like a trope.
- 1:17:33But it's true that kids with Down syndrome all grown up are
- 1:17:36still fucking wonderfully giving and kind and innocent.
- 1:17:42Yeah, I mean now, granted. I mean people with Down
- 1:17:46syndrome. There There are a few exceptions
- 1:17:48to where they can be assholes. Sure, yeah.
- 1:17:52And well, no. And what's really funny is it's
- 1:17:54almost kind of funny though too, because like, people with Down
- 1:17:59syndrome are not as like sometimes.
- 1:18:04They're not as intellectually deficient as a lot of people
- 1:18:08think. Well, and sometimes they play
- 1:18:12the they definitely, they definitely play the the, the
- 1:18:20Artard card as as much as possible.
- 1:18:25I've had I had a friend in middle school and his name was
- 1:18:30Kevin and he not only had Down syndrome, but for whatever he
- 1:18:36had other stuff going on, so he had no teeth.
- 1:18:39Oh yeah, he was one of those. And you know the teachers would
- 1:18:44be like, Oh yeah, the fucking retarded kid blah blah blah.
- 1:18:48But like, he would do shit like he'd be like, hey guys, watch
- 1:18:53this. And then he jump up on the this
- 1:18:55was like in middle school. He jump up on the cafeteria
- 1:18:58table in the middle of all of us and just start saying fuck you
- 1:19:01to the teachers. And then he would just sit down
- 1:19:04and keep eating his lunch and nobody ever did anything.
- 1:19:09Right. One day my friend got it in his
- 1:19:12head, but he could do it too, because if this kids getting
- 1:19:16away with it, right? He.
- 1:19:19Got in a lot of trouble. He got a lot of trouble.
- 1:19:25Yeah. So he knew.
- 1:19:27He knew that if I just do whatever I want, they're gonna
- 1:19:30be like, oh, silly retard. Like he wasn't.
- 1:19:33He was. He was using you, dummy.
- 1:19:36You're the. You know what I mean?
- 1:19:38You're the retard teacher, not him.
- 1:19:41Yeah, I know that that that that does happen happen.
- 1:19:50Yeah, I've, I've, I've had friends like that most of my
- 1:19:53life. I had a Midget friend and I say
- 1:19:55Midget because if it if I called him anything else he would
- 1:19:58fucking be very mad at me. He had he had dwarfism.
- 1:20:03So I guess the term technically is dwarf, but I swear to God, if
- 1:20:07you ever called him little person, he'd want to fight you.
- 1:20:10He'd probably. Yeah, he'd want to fight.
- 1:20:12I had AI had a friend who sadly is no longer here because he he
- 1:20:18died from primordial dwarfism. Nick is his name.
- 1:20:24Great. It's great guy.
- 1:20:27One of my fellow, one of my fellow Eagle Eagle Scouts.
- 1:20:31But he actually, he actually got to meet the Midget from Game of
- 1:20:44Thrones and oh, Peter Dinklage, I guess is his name.
- 1:20:51And everyone was like, no way you got to meet Peter Dinklage.
- 1:20:56And Nick was like, yeah, and that dude was kind of an
- 1:20:59asshole. I'm not gonna lie.
- 1:21:03Like, I just, I I remember that because, you know, everyone just
- 1:21:08assumes that because, you know, because Peter Dinklage is a
- 1:21:14dwarf, he must be nice. But no, he's kind of an ass.
- 1:21:18So. Well, I actually had a
- 1:21:21conversation with that, in particular with Dylan, Dylan
- 1:21:27Postle, I think his name is Hornswoggle from WWE.
- 1:21:33Uh huh. He was fucking fuming about that
- 1:21:37and I retweeted it on Twitter and it got it to the attention
- 1:21:41of a couple of like right wing outlets who don't usually pay
- 1:21:44attention to this kind of shit. And so he did.
- 1:21:46He did interviews about it and he said look this motherfuckers
- 1:21:49putting us out of work. He got his and he pulled the
- 1:21:52ladder up behind him. They don't like that at all.
- 1:21:56The the, the Midget slash little people slash whatever you want
- 1:22:01to call them. Community, if you will, is not a
- 1:22:03big fan of him right now. They cost them 7 dream jobs.
- 1:22:09As before. That is like a dream job for you
- 1:22:13if you are a a a short person, right?
- 1:22:17If you're a vertically challenged person and you can
- 1:22:20get a job in Disney's Snow White as a dwarf, that's a payday.
- 1:22:26And that's a payday. You know what mailbox money is,
- 1:22:30right, Sam? It's like an industry term.
- 1:22:32Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that means mailbox money
- 1:22:36for the rest of your life. That mailbox money audience in
- 1:22:39in and see, I get it from the music industry, but it's in the
- 1:22:42wrestling industry and the movie.
- 1:22:45If you get royalties on a thing that you were in forever, you go
- 1:22:49pick up your check at your mailbox.
- 1:22:51That's what we mean. And so like Spotify has been
- 1:22:55great for this in the music world, right?
- 1:22:57Is you just have this constant revenue mailbox money?
- 1:23:01Right. Yeah, it's.
- 1:23:02Been much easier for a band or an artist if they have that to
- 1:23:07count on to then work. What?
- 1:23:09OK, what's our next project to act?
- 1:23:11Make real money. Because mailbox money.
- 1:23:13I'll tell you one thing, unless you were in, I don't know,
- 1:23:16Disney's Snow White, it's not gonna be enough to really live
- 1:23:21off of for most people. I know that seems weird, but
- 1:23:27example, you have a hit song, right?
- 1:23:30You have a number one hit song. What what ends up happening is
- 1:23:33you make all your money early on with that song and then the
- 1:23:36plays on, you know, Spotify accumulate because one guy's
- 1:23:41like, oh, I remember that song here and there, right?
- 1:23:43And so you get like 50,000 listens a month or whatever on
- 1:23:48your song. That equates to a couple pennies
- 1:23:51per listener or whatever. You get some, you get a couple
- 1:23:54thousand, but that's for the year.
- 1:23:58She knew what I'm saying. Like you get a year's worth of
- 1:24:00royalties, so you might get 5000, but but you obviously
- 1:24:05can't live your whole life off mailbox money.
- 1:24:08That's my point. Now, if you're in a film like
- 1:24:11the, the problem is, is that movie's going to bomb.
- 1:24:14But if they did it right and you were a dwarf actor or a Midget
- 1:24:19or a little whatever they want to be called, right, because
- 1:24:21they. I'll.
- 1:24:22Tell you this when you talk to midgets, little people,
- 1:24:25whatever, each and every one of them is going to tell you what
- 1:24:27they want to be called, and it's usually not the same as
- 1:24:30everybody else. Yeah, No, the, the.
- 1:24:36And I'm old and not politically correct, so I default to Midget.
- 1:24:40The. My friend told me to call him a
- 1:24:41Midget. So, so you've got you've, so
- 1:24:46you've got the Midget card then basically.
- 1:24:51I guess it's unfortunate with us today to fucking sign that in
- 1:24:57paper, but. Yeah.
- 1:24:59I'll tell you what, the dude was a legend because this was mostly
- 1:25:03in regards to filming my shows in high school.
- 1:25:07And one of the bits that we did was to, you know, how high
- 1:25:12schools, They'll have the tall lockers, but then they'll have
- 1:25:15ones that are like separated into a top and a bottom.
- 1:25:18Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we had stuffed a guy in a
- 1:25:23locker for a bit before that. And then we were like, wouldn't
- 1:25:27it be funny to put the little guy in the half locker?
- 1:25:32And he we just like, you know how you spitball comedy ideas,
- 1:25:37right? And it's like, Oh yeah, he
- 1:25:40latched on to that and he was like, we must do this.
- 1:25:44And I was like, OK, well, we could put you in there and then
- 1:25:48edit it to make it seem like it had been hours and hours and he
- 1:25:52was like, Nah, you got to put me in there for at least three
- 1:25:54periods and just leave the camera there and I will talk and
- 1:25:59you'll hear it. And sure enough, it made for the
- 1:26:03funniest fucking just him in there.
- 1:26:06At first. He's like, guys, guys, he's
- 1:26:09knocking on the thing. We left the mic in with him.
- 1:26:12We we we did a we did a bit with we did a bit with Nick Head oh I
- 1:26:23can't believe about I'm about to tell this.
- 1:26:25But basically so there was this girl he he liked and he somehow
- 1:26:31he knew he knew her locker combo.
- 1:26:36And so Nick, like, had a dark sense of humor, and he thought
- 1:26:41it would. He thought it would would be
- 1:26:43funny to basically, like, hide in this girl's locker and then,
- 1:26:48like, scare her. Not a winter heart.
- 1:26:54Yeah, well, you know, we were all goofy teenagers though.
- 1:27:01I joke, but I've been scaring the shit out of my wife for
- 1:27:04almost 20 years. So.
- 1:27:06So you know, and and I don't know how, I don't know how
- 1:27:10lockers were when you were in school.
- 1:27:15But when I was in school, like, I guess locker stuffing had
- 1:27:20become like enough of a problem at that point that like someone
- 1:27:24decided to make lockers so that if like if people did get stuff,
- 1:27:31you could like open them from the inside.
- 1:27:33So. Basically, that's dirty.
- 1:27:38I've been stuffing people in lockers way too long for them to
- 1:27:42come up with a trick like that. This.
- 1:27:44I've been saying people need lockers recently.
- 1:27:48No, no, no. You're, you're, you're Nick.
- 1:27:49Fuentes Nick Fuentes needs to be put in a locker.
- 1:27:53Tell me I'm wrong. I mean, you're not.
- 1:27:56You're not wrong. You're not wrong.
- 1:27:57You. Saw.
- 1:27:58You saw when he punched a guy and he fucking tucked his fists.
- 1:28:04I did. I did like a rapping, screaming
- 1:28:06bit about that. Just like, good Lord, now you
- 1:28:11can get out of a locker. Jeez.
- 1:28:13No, no but but but but for the spoo.
- 1:28:16But they still have padlock spots on them, don't they?
- 1:28:20They do, but you can, you can kind of like I get.
- 1:28:25I guess you can, kind of. Safety lockers, ladies, and
- 1:28:29welcome to the fucking machine. No, no, you'll you'll, you'll,
- 1:28:33you'll appreciate that. You'll appreciate this, though.
- 1:28:36So we hit him in the locker. He's like, he's like dead quiet,
- 1:28:40right. The girl.
- 1:28:43The girl comes up like I I think, I think she actually did
- 1:28:47have to like unlock the locker if I'm not mistaken.
- 1:28:51But she unlocks what she she undoes like the padlock.
- 1:28:56All of a sudden Nick just opens the door and and scares her.
- 1:29:03Like he opens the door from the inside and just scares her and
- 1:29:07we're all laughing our ass ass off about that.
- 1:29:13Nowadays, they'd call the cops. Yeah.
- 1:29:19What you really need to do though, ladies and gentlemen, is
- 1:29:22enjoy the holidays. I think that.
- 1:29:25So I'm going to, I'm going to head off, actually.
- 1:29:28I got presents to wrap and trees and all that fun stuff before
- 1:29:33the jolly guy gets here. Apparently, as I've been talking
- 1:29:37to you, my wife was trying to put the boy to bed, but he
- 1:29:40didn't want to go to bed because it's Christmas Eve and he fell
- 1:29:46asleep on my bed trying to stay up like a big shot.
- 1:29:49So now we have the go ahead. We're going to start rapping and
- 1:29:53getting crazy and. Well, that's awesome.
- 1:29:57I'm actually going to wrap up the show myself because I've got
- 1:30:00to. I've got to get into the shower
- 1:30:02and get ready for bed. But yeah, I mean, ladies and
- 1:30:06gentlemen, just, you know, enjoy the holidays.
- 1:30:09If it is tough for you, you know, God bless, but it'll it'll
- 1:30:15if you're going through something, it'll get better
- 1:30:17time. Holds and I'll tell you,
- 1:30:22Christmas will be over Tuesday and then back to the grind.
- 1:30:27So if it's if it's rough for you, hey, it was rough for me.
- 1:30:30I hated Christmas. I don't know if anybody knows
- 1:30:32this. I hated Christmas.
- 1:30:34I despised Christmas. It was my least favorite
- 1:30:37holiday. And that's 'cause I was raised
- 1:30:40in a dysfunctional, abusive household, right where Christmas
- 1:30:44meant fist fights, run meetings and alcohol and all that.
- 1:30:51And now I love Christmas. It's my favorite holiday and so
- 1:30:57I can relate. I can relate.
- 1:30:59But when it was tough I would just say and and you know a
- 1:31:03couple days it'll be over and then we'll just we'll get back
- 1:31:07to the grind. But for me now it's a way to
- 1:31:10kind of like make the grind bearable this.
- 1:31:13And I went on rants about Thanksgiving and how much it
- 1:31:16means to me and and even Halloween people might think is
- 1:31:20a silly off day. Now these, these are the things
- 1:31:22that keep me going as a father, you know, instilling the same
- 1:31:28traditions on him that I wish were instilled properly on me.
- 1:31:32You know, I'm, I'm making up for lost time.
- 1:31:34I'm making up for mistakes that weren't mine to make.
- 1:31:40So yeah, I guess that's the message.
- 1:31:43So real quick before Max heads off, I'm going to head off too.
- 1:31:48But on Wednesday ladies and gentlemen, and I don't know
- 1:31:52whether we'll pre record this or not, but Wednesday we'll have
- 1:31:57one of my close personal friends on the podcast who works in
- 1:32:03Washington DC. He's home for the holidays in
- 1:32:07Colorado right now, but we'll have him on the show Wednesday.
- 1:32:13I don't know whether he wants to do the show live or for 1/4.
- 1:32:17We might, we might actually have to talk about politics.
- 1:32:22Yeah, and we've been mad about that lately.
- 1:32:25Well, and and Max, I I I hate to say this, but, like, he's kind
- 1:32:31of like an establishment Republican.
- 1:32:33And that's fine. So.
- 1:32:35So he hates Trump? And well, that's.
- 1:32:38Fine too. Like no, it'll it'll be
- 1:32:40interesting because I'm the Trump guy.
- 1:32:42He hates Trump. So inevitably we're going to
- 1:32:46like we're going to clash a little bit for like probably the
- 1:32:49first like half hour but then we're going to talk video games
- 1:32:54and if if you want to join that that's it'll be it'll be fun
- 1:33:00we'll. See Wednesday.
- 1:33:02I'm pretty sure I'm penciled in for Wednesday anyway, but.
- 1:33:06Yeah. I know we got a whole bunch of
- 1:33:08stuff. We're going to go down to the
- 1:33:10monastery we're going to. We got to go over and see some
- 1:33:16of her family and then then the boy is going to his
- 1:33:22grandmother's. That's his biggest Christmas
- 1:33:25wish actually, is that he can spend the vacation over her
- 1:33:27house because it's totally not because she spoils him rotten or
- 1:33:31anything. No.
- 1:33:34But you know what? I'm fine because the wife and I
- 1:33:36will have a week with him. Not here is the longest I think
- 1:33:43we've ever had since he was born.
- 1:33:46Oh well. Yeah.
- 1:33:48So we're going to have our New Year's Eve and we're going to
- 1:33:53have fun. So so basically Max, if if you
- 1:33:56want to come on the show and dog and dogpile, I mean have a
- 1:34:01plight conversation with my with my neo con I mean.
- 1:34:06I know, I know who it is now, right?
- 1:34:09And I don't think it's going to be as bad as you're saying.
- 1:34:12I think we agree on a lot more than.
- 1:34:15Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:34:18See the thing it is, is like we agree on 95% of the same.
- 1:34:22Stuff we can argue about that five.
- 1:34:25Like that's all we can talk about, really.
- 1:34:27And then we'll talk out like video games and a hero wants to
- 1:34:31talk AI, which, you know that's actually become like a prominent
- 1:34:36subject on the show. So I'm he does want to meet you
- 1:34:41at some point. So maybe yeah, maybe Wednesday
- 1:34:45will be the day for that so, but for you folks at home, there
- 1:34:51will be a show on Wednesday, so tune in for that and for anyone
- 1:34:57who. And then once I'm done, I would
- 1:35:01I I this is my vow to you audience.
- 1:35:03I'm going to try and get together like a clip show for
- 1:35:06the end of the year, but I got to get through Christmas first
- 1:35:09so. Yeah.
- 1:35:12It'll be something, even if it's just a YouTube video I put up
- 1:35:15with like funny clips of us or insightful or whatever, I'm
- 1:35:19going to, I'm going to go through as much of our shit.
- 1:35:21It's there's a lot. I didn't realize how much
- 1:35:23content we've put out this year. We've we've almost, we've almost
- 1:35:27done like 80. We've actually, I've actually
- 1:35:30counted because Spotify allows me to.
- 1:35:33We've done 81 episodes now at this point, so.
- 1:35:40Varying from mostly two hours at the shortest to five hours.
- 1:35:46Yeah, it's it's a lot. I originally my goal was I was
- 1:35:49going to take one clip from every episode.
- 1:35:52That's not going to happen. Yeah, no, I there have been some
- 1:35:57shows where like where they've been so long that that's the
- 1:36:02other reason why like sometimes I won't up upload the Spotify
- 1:36:06podcast for like a day or two is because some of them like take a
- 1:36:10day to like download and then like 4 hours to to upload to
- 1:36:16Spotify. 'Cause we're so professional,
- 1:36:19ladies and gentlemen, we just talk an extra 3 hours, you know?
- 1:36:23Yeah, yeah. No, my, my, we always say we're
- 1:36:27going to do like 2 1/2 Max and then it's like 5.
- 1:36:32At least we have kept pretty consistent with the one thing
- 1:36:36this year, which is any more than three's a crowd.
- 1:36:41We've been really good about that.
- 1:36:43Yeah, and also. If you don't know why, audience,
- 1:36:46go listen to a show with four plus people speaking on it and
- 1:36:51you'll suddenly see that, yeah, four people is about where
- 1:36:54nobody gets a word in edgewise anymore.
- 1:36:57Yeah, and also we we really don't cover E drama all that
- 1:37:02much with with rare exceptions like that.
- 1:37:08And now I might have to subscribe to the pizza fun now,
- 1:37:11because, like, I've actually never seen the episodes.
- 1:37:15He watches. He watches the whole thing of
- 1:37:19Mersh going at you, which I had never seen.
- 1:37:22It's not just the I was nice to you.
- 1:37:25It's like a oh. Oh, so you find a?
- 1:37:28Minute thing and Jesse and a lot of like the pot off or Hench men
- 1:37:33or whatever are commentating on it.
- 1:37:36Yeah, Porcelain's on it and Alan Powell's on it.
- 1:37:39Oh, oh, so you finally got to like here.
- 1:37:42OK. So you know, a little bit of the
- 1:37:44Alan Powell boar then. Yeah, I mean, by the way, I did
- 1:37:48run a poll like last week as whether or not we should have
- 1:37:54Allen on in the new year. 70% of the poll voted.
- 1:38:00I was nice to you in the poll. So.
- 1:38:05So yeah, that that's a that's a yes.
- 1:38:08Funny thing about that. People who who have been here
- 1:38:14for a long time know but when Mersh did that rant on me like
- 1:38:21Mersh that I was watching but I did not know that he went on
- 1:38:26like a two hour rant about me until the day after I had I had
- 1:38:30been. Because I at the time, I was
- 1:38:32still into college and it was like it was midterms week, so I
- 1:38:36was like I was doing college stuff, so.
- 1:38:43Well, I'd seen the short version and like I said, I was like, oh,
- 1:38:47'cause I watched first and foremost, if you get into pot,
- 1:38:51awful pizza, fun. The first thing I would ever
- 1:38:53recommend to anybody is the Red Rooms off a Wien this year.
- 1:38:56It's fucking one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my
- 1:38:59whole life. But then I'd watched a lot of
- 1:39:03the stuff. I watched old stuff, and I was
- 1:39:05like, oh, here's a mersh one I haven't seen.
- 1:39:07And next thing I know, I'm like I said, I'm over on my 'cause I
- 1:39:11have multiple screens here. This screen way over here, I had
- 1:39:16Pot awful on in this screen I'm playing my game and looking at
- 1:39:19and all of a sudden I hear Oh yeah, and that's Sam Whitfield.
- 1:39:22He he called into the Sunday show one time.
- 1:39:24We made fun of him, but like, it didn't bother him at all.
- 1:39:28Yeah, Sam. Yeah.
- 1:39:32No. And and like, now I've got like
- 1:39:35hot, awful people who who like, make me watch Encino, man.
- 1:39:41It like really bad movies, so. It was.
- 1:39:47It was. I feel OK with having watched
- 1:39:50Encino Man only after I got to assault Pauly Shore with a with
- 1:39:55a soda can so. Yeah, we'll have to have, we'll
- 1:39:58have to have Nostalgia November on so you can tell that story.
- 1:40:02I I feel like I have to get that clip into the fucking end of
- 1:40:07year. Show is my Pauly Shore story,
- 1:40:10'cause I feel like the first time I told it, it actually went
- 1:40:12over really well. I went back and watched it.
- 1:40:14I was like, oh, that's better than usually.
- 1:40:16Usually when I retailed I, I'd skip it a lot and the build up
- 1:40:22is what's important. I think the build up to when I'm
- 1:40:25cause in real time in real life. I was literally looking at him
- 1:40:28talking shit and then looking down at this can and looking up
- 1:40:32at him and yeah, like like a like a caveman putting rocks
- 1:40:38together. And I was just like, Oh yeah.
- 1:40:43Oh, so, oh, so that's that's very fitting then considering
- 1:40:47that, you know, he played a caveman and that there you go.
- 1:40:50So. Well, he played a friend of a
- 1:40:52caveman. Whatever.
- 1:40:54Yeah, but anyway, well. Merry Christmas to all and to
- 1:41:01all good night. Yep.
- 1:41:03Merry Christmas, folks, To all and to all.
