This is our 1000th episode , counting all three podcasts we produce.
In this episode we look back at a speech given at Iowa State University in 1972, during Senator Bob Packwood's first term where he talks about the landscape of the 1972 Presidential Election and the issues facing Congress and President Nixon.
It's a great speech capturing Senator Packwood early in his time as a United States Senator.
FYI: This speech was actually captured on audio tape and it has a place where the tape messes up in the recording used on YOUTUBE , keep listening it will correct itself…
