Mary Kate was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. She moved to the UK straight out of high school and then a year later to Mombasa, Kenya. From the age 15, she knew she would live in Kenya. There was a clear calling to this nation, but she did not know how she would get there or what all it would entail! She first moved with a team of people from the UK to plant Freedom Church Mombasa.
