- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's another episode of the Almost Famous podcast. We are
- 0:08Speaker 2: breaking down episode five of Charity season of The Bachelor.
- 0:12Speaker 2: They are in one of my favorite cities in the US,
- 0:14Speaker 2: New Orleans, Ashley. I want to say this, not only
- 0:20Speaker 2: do I love New Orleans, it is an incredible place.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I've had great memories there, great times there. There's great food,
- 0:24Speaker 2: there's great culture, there's great people. So far this season,
- 0:29Speaker 2: I personally have not missed the international travel. I've really
- 0:35Speaker 2: enjoyed seeing this group come through the US and see
- 0:40Speaker 2: and visit different cities.
- 0:41Speaker 3: I actually have enjoyed it.
- 0:43Speaker 4: I like the fact that it's semi locale, Like it's
- 0:46Speaker 4: kind of like a travel agent for like anyone who
- 0:51Speaker 4: just wants to kind of see the country a little
- 0:54Speaker 4: bit more. I've never found it to be that much
- 0:56Speaker 4: of a difference when they're traveling international versus national, if
- 0:59Speaker 4: any think it kind of gives us a little bit
- 1:01Speaker 4: more like hometown pride that way, like if you're from
- 1:04Speaker 4: the area, it's exciting to see your area on TV.
- 1:07Speaker 4: And then I also like the fact that, well when
- 1:10Speaker 4: they're not like exhausted from the travel, Yeah, and then
- 1:15Speaker 4: I have better memories or I have more memories from
- 1:21Speaker 4: Bachelor locations in America than I do from foreign locations.
- 1:24Speaker 4: The four ones kind of like blend together for me.
- 1:27Speaker 4: But then like I have memories of well, they're my
- 1:30Speaker 4: bad Lands memory, right, your guys in San Antonio doing
- 1:34Speaker 4: like the the you did you did like the what
- 1:37Speaker 4: did you do that that did? The singing?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yeah, we did the Alamo and I went to the
- 1:42Speaker 2: dance hall there, which was incredible.
- 1:44Speaker 4: And then I think about like Jojo in the middle
- 1:48Speaker 4: of freaking Pennsylvania and how they went to the Hinz
- 1:53Speaker 4: Field and then there was like the woods there. I
- 1:56Speaker 4: don't know, I just keep whenever I think about like
- 1:58Speaker 4: epic Bachelor moments, I kind of think about the being national.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Well, I think you touched on something that viewers should
- 2:04Speaker 2: understand is when you travel internationally, you're really tired. There
- 2:11Speaker 2: is long travel days, you typically are changing time zones.
- 2:15Speaker 3: You're landing, maybe getting a day.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Of like reset rest, let the crew get set up,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and then you're right back at it again. You're there
- 2:23Speaker 2: for another five six days, and then you're back on
- 2:25Speaker 2: a plane flying somewhere else. So you do that week
- 2:29Speaker 2: after week and you get really tired. You never fully adjust.
- 2:33Speaker 2: And then for the cast it's cool to think and say, hey,
- 2:36Speaker 2: we're going to BALI right, it's not cool, but you're
- 2:41Speaker 2: not really seeing it. I mean you're seeing parts of it.
- 2:43Speaker 2: You're maybe out of your you know, hotel or condo
- 2:47Speaker 2: for you know, two maybe three of the six days
- 2:52Speaker 2: you're there. The rest of the time, you're kind of
- 2:53Speaker 2: chilling around a pool or hanging out in your in
- 2:56Speaker 2: whatever space they've set up for you. And so I all,
- 3:00Speaker 2: we said, because when I was the Bachelor, we traveled
- 3:04Speaker 2: very locally. I mean, we did go to Jamaica, we
- 3:08Speaker 2: went to Mexico City, but they weren't far flights obviously,
- 3:11Speaker 2: And I said that I really enjoyed being close because
- 3:16Speaker 2: none of us were ever exhausted from the travel, and
- 3:18Speaker 2: so we are all on our best, are kind of
- 3:20Speaker 2: our a games. And so I've liked that part and
- 3:23Speaker 2: I do. I just like seeing new cities and different
- 3:26Speaker 2: cities in the US that I could easily get to
- 3:28Speaker 2: if I wanted to on a flight.
- 3:30Speaker 4: And then let's let the audience know that it's not
- 3:32Speaker 4: like traveling in luxury for the cast out, but they're
- 3:36Speaker 4: back there and coach. They're sitting up for their seventeen
- 3:40Speaker 4: hour flight to Bali.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Yeah it's not.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah, there's not private jets taking this cast around the world.
- 3:46Speaker 4: They're not getting first class. But the lead does get
- 3:48Speaker 4: first class, right.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Most of the time.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Not every time, but most of the time you do
- 3:51Speaker 2: get first class, which was great, and you sit up
- 3:54Speaker 2: there with like all the EPs and all the people
- 3:57Speaker 2: on the cat crew that have upgraded themselves, uh for this,
- 4:01Speaker 2: for these flights, and so yeah, uh.
- 4:03Speaker 3: You know, give or take.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I do enjoy the international travel just to see some
- 4:09Speaker 2: new places, but I've really really enjoyed seeing Charity season
- 4:13Speaker 2: so far. On this episode, Ashley, we're going to talk
- 4:15Speaker 2: about two main characters, Sean and Tanner. Obviously, those are
- 4:19Speaker 2: the two that stand out. However, Xavier also is right
- 4:23Speaker 2: there every other guy, especially in the opening scene here,
- 4:26Speaker 2: they feel very confident, I think in their relationship with
- 4:29Speaker 2: Charity at least it they'll make it next week to hometowns.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean Aaron, he's always a little moody.
- 4:36Speaker 3: He seems moody.
- 4:37Speaker 4: He is okay, he's not my fav he just always
- 4:41Speaker 4: doesn't like ever seem to be uplifting.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Yeah, he seems like this is I mean, he did
- 4:46Speaker 2: say it this week. His his line that made me
- 4:49Speaker 2: just go, you gotta be kidding me was he said
- 4:51Speaker 2: it was the hardest week of his life.
- 4:54Speaker 4: What the That's just I mean, I don't know how
- 4:59Speaker 4: I didn't pick up on that. That is absolutely ridiculous.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah, and blessed.
- 5:03Speaker 4: I'm very happy that he's had such a great life.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Yeah, very happy that it's been so good. However, here's
- 5:08Speaker 2: one way to look at it, because we don't know
- 5:10Speaker 2: his story either. He is so in love with Charity
- 5:13Speaker 2: that this really has been one of the hardest weeks
- 5:15Speaker 2: of his life, or maybe he's being dramatic, or maybe
- 5:19Speaker 2: he really has never had to have something harder than this,
- 5:22Speaker 2: But he says it's emotional, it's hiring. We'll get into
- 5:25Speaker 2: that too, a little bit of Aaron B's story, but
- 5:27Speaker 2: let's kick it off with Joey's one on one with Charity.
- 5:30Speaker 2: This is a one on one that I was excited
- 5:33Speaker 2: to witness, to see their connection, to see how they
- 5:36Speaker 2: responded to each other. Actually, I do think we're in
- 5:38Speaker 2: the week now where these dates feel less forced and
- 5:43Speaker 2: more kind of comfortable. That you got to see the
- 5:47Speaker 2: connections really blossom. What were your thoughts with the Joey
- 5:50Speaker 2: Charity one on one?
- 5:51Speaker 4: Well, I love dates like this, you know where they
- 5:54Speaker 4: just kind of gallivant around the city and they do
- 5:56Speaker 4: things specific to the city, like they got the readings
- 5:59Speaker 4: and they have a pull being done and all that.
- 6:02Speaker 4: So it's just fun and it's a real date vibe.
- 6:06Speaker 4: And there's nothing really shocking about this date for me
- 6:08Speaker 4: because they've just been consistently good the entire time. They're
- 6:10Speaker 4: always driving, and like you said, I think that they're
- 6:13Speaker 4: really comfortable with each other now. And then I think
- 6:15Speaker 4: the conversation probably most worth discussing is during the one
- 6:21Speaker 4: on one night time they talked about just being in
- 6:25Speaker 4: a biracial relationship and it seemed like it was just
- 6:31Speaker 4: it went over as wonderfully as you could assume it would. Basically,
- 6:35Speaker 4: he said he's open to learning anything about her you know, background,
- 6:40Speaker 4: and that his family is just going to be so
- 6:43Speaker 4: excited about him bringing home such a lovely girl.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Yeah, this was this was a big conversation. I think
- 6:50Speaker 2: it was obviously weighing on Charity to open up about this. Uh,
- 6:55Speaker 2: you know, the interesting part of this conversation. To me,
- 6:58Speaker 2: it was all intriguing. But the really resting part is
- 7:00Speaker 2: when Charity is talking about her past relationships and how
- 7:03Speaker 2: there would be you know, judgment or she'd feel that
- 7:06Speaker 2: judgment or feel the questions from the outside, and her
- 7:10Speaker 2: past partners kind of blew it off and said, hey,
- 7:14Speaker 2: it's okay, it's all good, not a problem. She goes, nobod,
- 7:17Speaker 2: it is something, you know, it is something we. I
- 7:19Speaker 2: want my partner to recognize and to not just brush
- 7:23Speaker 2: it off and say it's all good. I want them
- 7:24Speaker 2: to recognize that this is something that hurts or something
- 7:27Speaker 2: that affects me or something that affects us. And and Joey,
- 7:32Speaker 2: you know, stood up to it.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Now.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Obviously Joey kind of has the background, and I don't
- 7:39Speaker 2: know if you can even come close to comparing the two.
- 7:42Speaker 2: But when it comes to her question of Joey, will
- 7:44Speaker 2: they accept me, and I think he says it in
- 7:47Speaker 2: full confidence, like yeah, like if anybody my family knows,
- 7:52Speaker 2: you know how to you know what love is or
- 7:55Speaker 2: that love is love and how to adjust to those things.
- 7:58Speaker 2: And so I do you think he has a lot
- 8:00Speaker 2: of confidence going into hometowns that his family is gonna
- 8:04Speaker 2: really celebrate this relationship. We'll talk later on about some
- 8:07Speaker 2: of the previews that we saw.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Okay, Okay, we'll save it for later on.
- 8:11Speaker 2: We're gonna say it for later on. But when it
- 8:14Speaker 2: comes to Joey and Charity right now where they stand,
- 8:18Speaker 2: it feels very strong. In fact, in my world, their
- 8:25Speaker 2: connection has gotten stronger this week, and it will be
- 8:31Speaker 2: hard for me to and and Joey's not even my
- 8:36Speaker 2: like if I had to rank him, He's not even
- 8:37Speaker 2: number one. It's gonna be weird and hard for me
- 8:39Speaker 2: to see. Charity let Joey go if she has to it.
- 8:42Speaker 4: You love Joey, you like I think joe is your favorite,
- 8:44Speaker 4: Like you'd pick.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Joey, I would pick Xavier. I like Xavier. Yeah, I've
- 8:50Speaker 2: always been a Xavier fan. He's always been number one
- 8:53Speaker 2: on my list. I think I think he's real and
- 8:55Speaker 2: I think he's honest, but I think he cares and
- 8:58Speaker 2: he I think Joey is right there where I'm like.
- 9:01Speaker 2: I think Joey's just a genuine person for like he's
- 9:07Speaker 2: he's been very interested in Cherry since beginning, and I
- 9:10Speaker 2: think we've seen that. But Xavier would still be my
- 9:12Speaker 2: number one after this.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Week, Joey still gives me boyfriend vibes when Dalton gives
- 9:17Speaker 4: me husband vibes.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's something I want to lean into here in
- 9:22Speaker 2: just a second. But before we get there, there's a
- 9:25Speaker 2: lot of stress at the hotel this episode. Sean and
- 9:28Speaker 2: Tanner are definitely feeling the stress of this whole experience.
- 9:35Speaker 2: And you and I last week and the week before
- 9:37Speaker 2: had mentioned Ashley that we it's pretty clear who her
- 9:41Speaker 2: top four were, Right, It's pretty obvious that Tanner and
- 9:44Speaker 2: Sean kind of snuck their way through and that the
- 9:47Speaker 2: connections with the two of them weren't at all close
- 9:50Speaker 2: to what you know the Aaron B's and Xavier's and
- 9:52Speaker 2: Doton's and Joey's were, So there's a reason they're stressed out.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Joey obviously gets the rose after his date, and Sean
- 10:05Speaker 2: and Tanner get told they're going on a two on.
- 10:07Speaker 4: One, which is exciting is we haven't had a two
- 10:11Speaker 4: on one in the past couple seasons. They always take
- 10:13Speaker 4: breaks from two on ones. There's no real animosity between
- 10:17Speaker 4: these two, which is nice.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that was my question.
- 10:19Speaker 2: One of my questions for you was is it weird
- 10:21Speaker 2: to watch a two on one where both the guys
- 10:23Speaker 2: are kind of feeling a similar way but they don't
- 10:26Speaker 2: hate each other, and they' just like, gosh, dang it,
- 10:28Speaker 2: Like this is just clear to me.
- 10:30Speaker 3: That we're way far behind.
- 10:32Speaker 2: We already felt it, we already kind of assumed it,
- 10:34Speaker 2: but like this is just a very obvious, like you know,
- 10:37Speaker 2: sign that we are not in the same place as
- 10:40Speaker 2: the other.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:41Speaker 4: Yeah, And she just couldn't make up her mind throughout
- 10:44Speaker 4: this episode about really both of them. She wanted like
- 10:47Speaker 4: multiple shots with hanging out with them throughout the week.
- 10:51Speaker 4: I think it's nice to answer your question, like I
- 10:54Speaker 4: think some you want if you're gonna have a two
- 10:56Speaker 4: on one, you either want to be an epic showdown
- 10:59Speaker 4: or just kind of like, all right, we're just going
- 11:01Speaker 4: to get along. Here. They go on the crocodile hunting thing,
- 11:04Speaker 4: which is amazing. I used to just a pretty cool day.
- 11:07Speaker 4: So I used to like love Swamp Monsters. I used
- 11:11Speaker 4: to watch that show like religiously. I loved the alligators
- 11:17Speaker 4: so much.
- 11:17Speaker 2: And you obviously know that you bought me an allegator
- 11:19Speaker 2: that still sits on my desk.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I just love plastic alligator from Amazon.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I love alligators so much, and I love like
- 11:28Speaker 2: alligator Hunters and or just Alligator Sight series. I just
- 11:31Speaker 2: think they are the most fascinating people. This guy was amazing.
- 11:36Speaker 2: This guy was great TV. So glad he added to
- 11:40Speaker 2: our time. And there's like nothing obviously, they just had
- 11:43Speaker 2: a good time. Tanner's watching Shan though and being like,
- 11:47Speaker 2: I think shit hit Well, actually, the crocodile hunter, what's
- 11:51Speaker 2: the different shoe to crocodile and an alligator?
- 11:53Speaker 4: Again?
- 11:54Speaker 3: Uh, well, they're.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Two totally different animals, you know, when you're talking like
- 11:58Speaker 2: physical Crocodiles have their eyes more on top. They are
- 12:04Speaker 2: typically a little more aggressive.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Uh.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Crocodiles can, I believe, swim in both saltwater and fresh water.
- 12:12Speaker 2: You can research me on that, and alligators are strictly freshwater.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Okay, so alligators are more Florida and crocodiles are more
- 12:21Speaker 4: New Orleans.
- 12:22Speaker 3: No, these are gators.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Oh they were?
- 12:25Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 12:26Speaker 4: So does oh interesting? Okay, why do I always think
- 12:29Speaker 4: of Florida alligators?
- 12:31Speaker 3: I don't know. You gotta tacked up with your you
- 12:33Speaker 3: have to get over the right.
- 12:34Speaker 4: This is totally off topic. All right. So the guys are,
- 12:38Speaker 4: you know, they have a great time there, the Crocodile
- 12:42Speaker 4: Hunter himself is thinking that Sean is ahead of the game.
- 12:45Speaker 4: She's definitely more physically into Sean, or like they're more
- 12:49Speaker 4: physically comfortable with each other. Has she even kissed it yet?
- 12:52Speaker 4: She's kissed Tanner, but like it's not like we ever
- 12:54Speaker 4: see them really make out. No, it's it's I know,
- 12:58Speaker 4: I don't know. I totally vibe that tan is behind
- 13:00Speaker 4: the game in this two on one, but I also
- 13:03Speaker 4: think it's kind of shocking that someone who just comes
- 13:08Speaker 4: across as like a character and not a serious love
- 13:12Speaker 4: interest like Sean is just creeping his way into the
- 13:16Speaker 4: top four territory.
- 13:18Speaker 2: He is. I will say this episode he showed more
- 13:21Speaker 2: of he showed less of the character vibe than hey,
- 13:24Speaker 2: I'm into this vibe. Like I didn't think he played
- 13:27Speaker 2: the character role.
- 13:28Speaker 4: Not so much this episode.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Yeah, now you know these two are obviously as we
- 13:33Speaker 2: mentioned behind the times, Ashley, I have a bachelor trivia
- 13:37Speaker 2: for you that I don't know the answer to, and
- 13:39Speaker 2: so I need you to help me with this. But
- 13:40Speaker 2: it was a question that came up as I watched
- 13:42Speaker 2: the episode. Has there ever been somebody that's been put
- 13:47Speaker 2: on a two on one that ended up either as
- 13:50Speaker 2: the lead the next season or the person with the
- 13:55Speaker 2: lead that season, or has this always been a mark that, hey,
- 13:58Speaker 2: you're behind, you might get things a question two on
- 14:02Speaker 2: one you know through, but after that you're going home
- 14:04Speaker 2: like you don't you're not making it very far.
- 14:06Speaker 4: You're so right, you are so right. I think that
- 14:14Speaker 4: Ashley Hubert Okay, was on a two on one with
- 14:17Speaker 4: another Ashley and they're really close friends. And then Ashley
- 14:22Speaker 4: Ubert obviously went on to become the Bachelorette Okay well
- 14:26Speaker 4: as the only one in my memory from when I
- 14:28Speaker 4: started watching with Brad ball Mac second season.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Well, listeners who were listening to this podcast, if you
- 14:33Speaker 2: know of another situation where there's been, uh, somebody from
- 14:36Speaker 2: a two on one go on to either have a
- 14:38Speaker 2: leading role or be with the lead. Let us know
- 14:41Speaker 2: it's going to be a tough thing for us to research,
- 14:43Speaker 2: but we will research. It be some digging through each
- 14:46Speaker 2: season in the cast and who went on the dates.
- 14:49Speaker 2: My point to this says, Ashley, if you're in the
- 14:52Speaker 2: cast in future seasons and all of a sudden you
- 14:55Speaker 2: get the card that says you're on a two on one,
- 14:57Speaker 2: like you are going on too one?
- 14:58Speaker 3: Is it?
- 14:59Speaker 2: Would it just best be like, I get I get it,
- 15:01Speaker 2: I'm homey, I'm going home anyways, Like it's not worth
- 15:04Speaker 2: another week of my time. Let's both peace out, Like
- 15:06Speaker 2: this is just an easy way for you to make
- 15:08Speaker 2: a decision that you obviously want to make.
- 15:12Speaker 4: I don't know, thinking about my experience and the few
- 15:14Speaker 4: people that come to mind with other like epic two
- 15:16Speaker 4: on one dates, I think that usually like one will
- 15:20Speaker 4: kind of go into more of like an obscurity, and
- 15:23Speaker 4: the other one will kind of become a staple in
- 15:26Speaker 4: the franchise and we'll do multiple spin offs.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Nobody knows that better than our own, Ashley.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Yeah, right, yeah, yeah.
- 15:35Speaker 4: It's usually like the villain alongside somebody who's been quite
- 15:39Speaker 4: outspoken and maybe has people out there with multiple opinions
- 15:46Speaker 4: on them, like somebody who's like a little bit more controversial, okay,
- 15:49Speaker 4: and then somebody who's just a straight villain. So this
- 15:52Speaker 4: this obviously just doesn't apply to this two on one.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Would you, Ashley then say that you're two on one
- 16:00Speaker 2: during Chrystal's season of the Bachelor, was the best thing
- 16:04Speaker 2: to happen to you on that season?
- 16:06Speaker 4: Oh one percent? In one of the surest answers I
- 16:11Speaker 4: can give about like a moment in my past that
- 16:14Speaker 4: really set me up for the future. I I'm sure
- 16:18Speaker 4: I would have been casted on Paradise, Yeah, but it's
- 16:22Speaker 4: certainly made me more of like a household name amongst
- 16:26Speaker 4: Bachelor Nation.
- 16:27Speaker 2: One of the most epic two on ones ever, So
- 16:41Speaker 2: Ashley walk us through this. Tanner and Sean obviously are
- 16:46Speaker 2: feeling differently about each other than you felt going in
- 16:49Speaker 2: to your two on one. But how awkward is it
- 16:53Speaker 2: like that elevator ride where it's just the two of you,
- 16:55Speaker 2: there's nobody else in there with you, the car ride
- 16:57Speaker 2: to the date, the date itself. What the emotions and
- 17:00Speaker 2: the feelings going on? Do you think for most contestants
- 17:05Speaker 2: on a two on one?
- 17:06Speaker 4: Well, for me personally, I was just annoyed that I
- 17:09Speaker 4: was going to have to like spend the day with
- 17:11Speaker 4: somebody had so much tension with.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Okay, in the.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Case of these two, it's going to be less awkward
- 17:19Speaker 4: because they just genuinely get along and they can just
- 17:21Speaker 4: chit chat in awkward moments like car rides and elevator
- 17:25Speaker 4: rides and all that. With me, it was just like
- 17:31Speaker 4: like all those moments were just the two of you,
- 17:33Speaker 4: and in those in these dates, there are a lot
- 17:36Speaker 4: of moments where it's just the two of you. It's
- 17:40Speaker 4: just it's awful. And then it makes it more awkward
- 17:43Speaker 4: because it's not like you can have group chats, because
- 17:45Speaker 4: at least if you get along like these guys, you
- 17:47Speaker 4: can have like group camaraderie, not when you're with somebody
- 17:51Speaker 4: that you hate. So all the time that you're going
- 17:53Speaker 4: to have with the lead, is that like is worth
- 17:56Speaker 4: something is going to be when you have one on
- 17:58Speaker 4: one time.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Yeah, it is.
- 18:01Speaker 2: It feels like to me, something that'd be really hard
- 18:03Speaker 2: to be a cast member on. As a lead, it's
- 18:05Speaker 2: very awkward because you realize how awkward it is, and
- 18:09Speaker 2: you also realize that at least in my situation, like
- 18:14Speaker 2: I knew I was sending a signal to both of
- 18:17Speaker 2: them that I knew I was sending a signal to
- 18:20Speaker 2: both of them. Those who was with Emily and Olivia.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Oh Olivia, duh Yeah the island.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Yeah, left around the island unfortunately, and their storm came in.
- 18:31Speaker 2: It was really hard, really weird, and very awkward for everybody.
- 18:35Speaker 2: But long story short, they go this going back to
- 18:40Speaker 2: Charity season Uh, Tanner and Sean go to dinner with Charity.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Charity.
- 18:46Speaker 2: At this point, they're both looking for validation. Neither of
- 18:50Speaker 2: them are going to get it.
- 18:52Speaker 3: She said.
- 18:53Speaker 2: She actually makes a line which I think was great.
- 18:55Speaker 2: She said, Hey, this is a sign of where relationships
- 18:58Speaker 2: are at.
- 19:00Speaker 3: And what I need in this moment.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I'm not going to give the rose out, which at
- 19:04Speaker 2: that point both of them should have been like, Hey,
- 19:07Speaker 2: we can fight, we can try, but this is done.
- 19:10Speaker 4: But Ben I was so weirded out by how she
- 19:13Speaker 4: was having just a hard time deciding. I was like,
- 19:16Speaker 4: I think she's having a hard time because she knows
- 19:18Speaker 4: that neither of these guys are going to be her
- 19:20Speaker 4: pick in the end.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Well, and Charity has a heart and so yeah, you know,
- 19:26Speaker 2: when you're in this moment and you're like, ah, neither
- 19:29Speaker 2: of these guys are it, and I'm gonna have to
- 19:31Speaker 2: send them both home, and now they're both in the
- 19:33Speaker 2: same room as me, she's probably just sick at this point.
- 19:37Speaker 2: You're very sick of sending people home. You're tired of
- 19:40Speaker 2: breaking up with people, You're tired of disappointing people, You're
- 19:43Speaker 2: you're tired of telling somebody, they're not the one for you,
- 19:48Speaker 2: even if they're going to be fine afterwards. It's just
- 19:50Speaker 2: you get tired of it, and you get and it
- 19:52Speaker 2: starts to hurt more and more as you know, your
- 19:56Speaker 2: connections grow stronger, and I think at this point she's
- 19:59Speaker 2: starting to feel Yeah, but.
- 20:02Speaker 4: I think all she did was by herself a little
- 20:04Speaker 4: time and keep one of them around as a safety
- 20:07Speaker 4: net just in case one of the main three Aaron, Joey,
- 20:11Speaker 4: Xavier and done. Yeah.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Okay, the main four.
- 20:14Speaker 4: Those are the main four obviously, so what if the
- 20:16Speaker 4: main four became more weary? In her mind, she was like,
- 20:20Speaker 4: I'll keep one of them around for the rest of
- 20:22Speaker 4: the week, or keep both of them around for the
- 20:23Speaker 4: rest the rest of the week, and then I'll put
- 20:25Speaker 4: one in that slot if need be. I really thought
- 20:28Speaker 4: this entire episode that she was going to end up
- 20:31Speaker 4: just having a hometown of three guys.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Yeah, well I've been fine. I mean, I actually think
- 20:36Speaker 2: it probably would have made more sense. So Ashley, this
- 20:41Speaker 2: conversation with Tanner and Sean in this two on one,
- 20:46Speaker 2: it obviously your theory of her wanting to keep somebody
- 20:50Speaker 2: around in case somebody went home.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Rings true for the AAR and B.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Aaron B kind of came out of the gates as
- 20:56Speaker 2: everybody's top person, and Aaron B seemed to be the
- 21:03Speaker 2: one that had the most chemistry from night one with Charity,
- 21:07Speaker 2: seemed to be there, really interested in Charity. Aaron B
- 21:11Speaker 2: has not.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Grown, He's not elevated himself yet.
- 21:15Speaker 2: No since then, In fact, I feel like he's kind
- 21:18Speaker 2: of hanging on by a thread because he has been,
- 21:22Speaker 2: you know, there for the right reasons guy. He has
- 21:26Speaker 2: also you know, shown a lot of even with Braiden gone,
- 21:30Speaker 2: which I think Aaron B thought, oh, his ride was
- 21:32Speaker 2: going to get easier with Braiden gone, It just seems
- 21:35Speaker 2: to get harder. And this week is a good example
- 21:37Speaker 2: of that, where for for me, Aaron B is having
- 21:43Speaker 2: the hardest time when he's in the same situation as
- 21:46Speaker 2: all the other league guys that Charity is just trying
- 21:48Speaker 2: to figure out who's not going to go to hometowns
- 21:50Speaker 2: and he has his ticket punched if he just settles.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Down, mm hmm. There's something about him just doesn't shine
- 21:57Speaker 4: to me. Yeah, when they're together, I don't see sparkles
- 22:02Speaker 4: around them.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Well, I think initially, you know, he had that first
- 22:06Speaker 2: one on one and we thought, Okay, like this guy
- 22:08Speaker 2: is there for.
- 22:09Speaker 3: The long haul.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I think that one on one has definitely pushed him
- 22:12Speaker 2: to the point that we're at right now. But I
- 22:15Speaker 2: mean I think these other the other three have rose
- 22:18Speaker 2: far above him, well well in terms of the sparkles
- 22:22Speaker 2: and the chemistry and the connection and the memories and
- 22:25Speaker 2: all and the good things that we point to when
- 22:27Speaker 2: we say, okay, these people will be the final three.
- 22:30Speaker 4: Mm hmm. But we had a huge ding with Xavier
- 22:35Speaker 4: in this episode during the date. Well, first off, should
- 22:39Speaker 4: we talk about how they have the how Dowton goes
- 22:43Speaker 4: on another date?
- 22:44Speaker 3: Well, I think it's important.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Too, before we get there. Yeah, I think.
- 22:48Speaker 2: It's important to talk about how he gets the one
- 22:50Speaker 2: on one back to back weeks. That is a wild
- 22:55Speaker 2: decision from Charity.
- 22:56Speaker 3: I don't say it's a good or bad decision.
- 22:58Speaker 2: It's just a wildly aggressive decision on her part, meaning
- 23:02Speaker 2: that you don't see it often. I don't know if
- 23:05Speaker 2: I can remember the last time I see it, But
- 23:08Speaker 2: back to back weeks, I think you're sending a message
- 23:11Speaker 2: to not only the person you ask on the one one,
- 23:14Speaker 2: but also the group that I want to spend as
- 23:17Speaker 2: much time as possible with this human and I don't
- 23:20Speaker 2: care how it looks or how it's going to go.
- 23:23Speaker 4: If you are a member of the cast that is
- 23:25Speaker 4: staying home in a situation like this, I bet you
- 23:27Speaker 4: if you're trying to talk yourself into the fact that
- 23:31Speaker 4: maybe she needs another date with him before going into
- 23:34Speaker 4: hometowns because she wasn't completely sure after week before that,
- 23:37Speaker 4: just you know, to make yourself feel better.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Yeah, so you're saying your head, I think this date
- 23:44Speaker 2: in itself proved that theory to be very false, because
- 23:47Speaker 2: they have a great time. They have an incredible I
- 23:50Speaker 2: think it's a fun date. They do to Crescent City Classic.
- 23:53Speaker 2: There how many miles that I don't know how many
- 23:56Speaker 2: miles it was, but it was a it was a
- 23:57Speaker 2: fun run. I doubt they took it very serious, but
- 24:01Speaker 2: they had a good time doing it. They it looked
- 24:04Speaker 2: when you watched it like this is a couple that's
- 24:07Speaker 2: just doing a random Saturday activity together, Like they signed
- 24:10Speaker 2: up for a fun around. They did it, they thought
- 24:11Speaker 2: it was great. They'll go out to lunch afterwards or
- 24:13Speaker 2: dinner afterwards and hang out and talk about how funny
- 24:17Speaker 2: it was. This their connection is strong. I think all
- 24:20Speaker 2: the guys probably at this point, are understanding that the
- 24:23Speaker 2: evening portion of their date is as good as what
- 24:28Speaker 2: we would expect. It's deep, it's true, the I love yous,
- 24:32Speaker 2: there's tears.
- 24:34Speaker 3: You know.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Charity since the beginning has never shied away from us
- 24:40Speaker 2: really seeing who she was into and who she's not into.
- 24:42Speaker 2: I think after this date, though, I do feel like
- 24:46Speaker 2: their relationship is obviously very strong.
- 24:50Speaker 3: There was a moment though, during this day I said, oh.
- 24:52Speaker 4: No, what because she's like two zoned in.
- 24:56Speaker 2: No, I think she's gonna have a really hard time
- 24:58Speaker 2: at the end. I think she has a couple because
- 25:00Speaker 2: I think she has a couple guys that she's really into,
- 25:04Speaker 2: and I think right now he is still the one
- 25:07Speaker 2: that you would say, yeah, there's the best connection. Obviously
- 25:10Speaker 2: they've had two one on ones, but I think the
- 25:14Speaker 2: other I think there's two other guys Joey and Xavier,
- 25:18Speaker 2: that she might almost feel equally as into.
- 25:24Speaker 3: After next week's episode.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Okay, well, obviously we do know she's told us that
- 25:28Speaker 4: she fell in love with two people, and that's the
- 25:31Speaker 4: hardest desition she'll love to drift to make at the end.
- 25:34Speaker 4: I still think that he's so far above everybody else.
- 25:38Speaker 4: I just think that she doesn't have she doesn't like.
- 25:41Speaker 4: Eliminating people doesn't come easy to her. Hence the whole
- 25:43Speaker 4: two on one thing, yeah, which we never even really said,
- 25:46Speaker 4: Like she said, I'm not giving you guys a rose.
- 25:49Speaker 4: We're gonna take either out the rest of the week
- 25:51Speaker 4: and see how it goes.
- 25:53Speaker 2: And self admittedly, Charity says that her indecisiveness has been
- 25:56Speaker 2: an issue in the past, and there's no more difficult
- 25:59Speaker 2: time when you're indecisive then in the final three weeks
- 26:04Speaker 2: of this show, when you have multiple people that you're
- 26:07Speaker 2: into and multiple people that you're gonna have to hurt
- 26:10Speaker 2: and in order to get to the end. And if
- 26:12Speaker 2: she's indecisive, she self admittedly says, I'm indecisive. Yea, then
- 26:17Speaker 2: this is gonna be really hard for her. But then
- 26:20Speaker 2: it's going to be exhausting. I think that she would
- 26:24Speaker 2: leave right now with Dotton. See I don't know really
- 26:28Speaker 2: like I really think she would just end it right now.
- 26:31Speaker 2: But at the end of this episode, after the the
- 26:34Speaker 2: weirdness of Xavior and the fact that he's like scared
- 26:37Speaker 2: of commitment, which we'll get to in a second.
- 26:38Speaker 4: And then the fact that Joey, Yes, Joey is the
- 26:42Speaker 4: other one that I predict that she falls in love
- 26:46Speaker 4: with because it's easy and fun. I just think the
- 26:49Speaker 4: dotten thing is just it's really intense and they are
- 26:54Speaker 4: like in a more soulmate connection.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Ashley, if a guy can sit down with you and
- 27:02Speaker 2: tell you, hey, I have a fear of committing to
- 27:05Speaker 2: one person, and that fear is fair. Fear is a
- 27:08Speaker 2: very fair fear. That is not a crazy fear, that
- 27:10Speaker 2: is not something that we should that at all. I'm
- 27:13Speaker 2: watching that being like Xavier, why would you say that
- 27:15Speaker 2: out loud? No, I think it's a real fear for somebody,
- 27:18Speaker 2: especially on this show, especially when you don't know the
- 27:20Speaker 2: person super well, and especially when you're dating multipeople one time.
- 27:23Speaker 2: But if he can say that to her and she
- 27:27Speaker 2: still says like I want you here, yeah, I think
- 27:33Speaker 2: that relationship is going to be a late bloomer. I
- 27:36Speaker 2: think we're going to see it really come out and shine.
- 27:39Speaker 3: Oh.
- 27:40Speaker 4: I was not sure. I don't know. I should not
- 27:45Speaker 4: like hearing that. I was concerned. I'm not concerned when
- 27:51Speaker 4: somebody doesn't have a real relationship going to the show
- 27:53Speaker 4: like hasn't had a serious relationship because I was obviously
- 27:56Speaker 4: that person. But I was never afraid of commitment. I
- 27:59Speaker 4: was like for commitment, and I don't have any reason
- 28:03Speaker 4: to think why Xavier would be scared of commitment. His
- 28:06Speaker 4: parents have been married for forty years.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Well, because Astley, it's a wild thought, right, And I
- 28:12Speaker 2: think it shows that he's taking it serious, that he's
- 28:14Speaker 2: looking at saying, here, charity, if we end up together
- 28:17Speaker 2: at the end. I'm looking this at this like we're
- 28:20Speaker 2: going to be together forever. And yes, I've never had
- 28:23Speaker 2: a forever relationship. I don't know necessarily how to even
- 28:26Speaker 2: do that. I want to try my best at making
- 28:28Speaker 2: it the best thing possible. However, it's concerning to me.
- 28:32Speaker 2: I'm scared because I don't know how I'm going to
- 28:35Speaker 2: be in that. I think it's a very honest admission.
- 28:37Speaker 4: It is an honest admission. I like that he's telling
- 28:40Speaker 4: her this upfront. He doesn't want to take her by
- 28:43Speaker 4: surprise if he does get a little bit further in this,
- 28:45Speaker 4: which he obviously is. I think it's his first I
- 28:49Speaker 4: think he's the first warning to her that he may
- 28:51Speaker 4: not be ready to propose. I think that he would.
- 28:54Speaker 4: He's maybe saying is that I take commitment very seriously
- 28:58Speaker 4: and I don't want to take that propose step if
- 29:01Speaker 4: I'm not one hundred percent sure, which again I always
- 29:05Speaker 4: find to be respectable because knowing somebody for eight weeks
- 29:09Speaker 4: and spending as very little time as we get on
- 29:12Speaker 4: the show, it's pretty normal to say that you're afraid
- 29:16Speaker 4: of proposing.
- 29:17Speaker 3: I think that's the point.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Is what Xavier saying is normal, and he is fully fair,
- 29:23Speaker 2: and he is fully right to admit these things. Now,
- 29:27Speaker 2: two guys that do start to admit things is Sean
- 29:32Speaker 2: and Tanner. We can wrap this up into kind of
- 29:34Speaker 2: one big storyline. They both kind of pour their hearts
- 29:37Speaker 2: out to Charity, and as expected, I don't think any
- 29:40Speaker 2: of us are shocked both Sean and Tanner are going
- 29:43Speaker 2: home this week. Charity says, Hey, the feelings just aren't mutual.
- 29:46Speaker 2: I can't give you what you're telling me you feel
- 29:48Speaker 2: about me, So you're both going home. It's not shocking
- 29:52Speaker 2: to anybody. This was not an episode with a big exit.
- 29:55Speaker 2: We saw this coming two weeks ago.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Yes, however, I do I want to mention that when
- 30:01Speaker 4: Sean like pulls her aside and basically is like, I
- 30:04Speaker 4: really want to let you know how strongly I'm feeling
- 30:08Speaker 4: he's trying to get an upper hand before having to
- 30:11Speaker 4: wait till the very end of the week and not
- 30:14Speaker 4: go on the group date. Yeah, and whenever somebody does that,
- 30:18Speaker 4: it totally backfi us do. Whenever somebody pushes to get
- 30:22Speaker 4: the rose at a time like this never never ever works.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Well, I think he was.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I mean, I'm Sean doesn't seem like an unintelligent man.
- 30:32Speaker 2: I'm sure he was sitting in his room being like,
- 30:34Speaker 2: all right, I got one Hail Mary shot here, I guess. So, yeah, like,
- 30:38Speaker 2: let's go for it, because I know that I'm either
- 30:40Speaker 2: going home in a day or I'm going home now,
- 30:43Speaker 2: so let's just see what happens.
- 30:46Speaker 4: And because I never really felt like their connection was intense,
- 30:50Speaker 4: it does come across from me. And maybe I'm wrong
- 30:54Speaker 4: that it's just like I need to win. I want
- 30:56Speaker 4: the rose and not like I want the girl type situation.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Fair.
- 31:01Speaker 4: I'm not saying he doesn't like her. He definitely likes her.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I could see that, Yeah, Like I could see the
- 31:05Speaker 2: competition side of the competition thing.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Yeah, which you hate, I know you hate when this
- 31:10Speaker 3: is you as.
- 31:10Speaker 4: A competition, doesn't everybody?
- 31:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. I think that's fair. But yeah,
- 31:14Speaker 2: I can see that, and I don't disagree with you
- 31:16Speaker 2: on it. Well, Ashley Tanner and Sean are going home.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Xavier was the only other person that was kind of
- 31:23Speaker 2: up in the air on if they were going to
- 31:25Speaker 2: go home or not. And Charity really wants him to stay,
- 31:30Speaker 2: so we go into hometowns next week.
- 31:32Speaker 4: But Ben, you didn't have any hesitance when she was
- 31:35Speaker 4: sitting there with that rose in front of him and
- 31:38Speaker 4: she held the rose, I was like, Uh, we're gonna
- 31:42Speaker 4: get faked out. He's going home. No, you didn't have
- 31:45Speaker 4: that feeling at all.
- 31:47Speaker 3: No.
- 31:47Speaker 2: I think what we've seen from Charity so far is
- 31:51Speaker 2: that she really respects honesty, It really respects.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Words of affirmation.
- 32:01Speaker 2: I think she really is is drawn to people who
- 32:05Speaker 2: say what they feel, and I think she is somebody
- 32:09Speaker 2: that only likes somebody to say what they feel when
- 32:11Speaker 2: she also trusts what they have to say. And I
- 32:14Speaker 2: think for in this situation, maybe I was just off.
- 32:17Speaker 2: I viewed Xavier's conversation with her as one that was honest,
- 32:21Speaker 2: not hurtful. It wasn't saying he's not into it wasn't
- 32:24Speaker 2: saying that he doesn't want to pursue it. He wasn't
- 32:25Speaker 2: saying that he isn't that she I think she looked
- 32:29Speaker 2: at it and said, I get it, like I understand
- 32:32Speaker 2: what you're saying.
- 32:33Speaker 3: I understand your fears.
- 32:34Speaker 2: You haven't said that you want to go home, in fact,
- 32:37Speaker 2: want to stay. And so now when you tell me something,
- 32:40Speaker 2: I know that you mean it. And so I never
- 32:44Speaker 2: doubted it because I would have been more shocked if
- 32:45Speaker 2: you would have gone home, because I would have said,
- 32:47Speaker 2: you know, I would have at that point said, Charity,
- 32:49Speaker 2: what did you want from him? Did you just want
- 32:51Speaker 2: him to sugarcoat this whole thing and never tell you
- 32:53Speaker 2: the truth? And then at the end be like, hey, yeah,
- 32:55Speaker 2: by the way, I was really scared two weeks ago
- 32:59Speaker 2: because I didn't think I commit somebody. I think she enjoyed,
- 33:03Speaker 2: or not enjoyed. I think she appreciates somebody being genuine
- 33:07Speaker 2: in this wildly unfamiliar experience that it's hard to be
- 33:13Speaker 2: genuine within.
- 33:14Speaker 4: I was so thrown off. I was watching on my
- 33:17Speaker 4: computer with a mirror behind me, and I caught my
- 33:19Speaker 4: facial expression and I was like, huh, I was so
- 33:24Speaker 4: shocked that he was saying what he was saying, because
- 33:26Speaker 4: to me, my interpretation was just giving you a heads up.
- 33:31Speaker 4: I'm not one hundred percent sure about you right now.
- 33:35Speaker 4: I really thought that. So we'll see how that plays
- 33:38Speaker 4: out and who's right, who's got instinct is right about
- 33:42Speaker 4: I love Xavier. I want him to be around. He's
- 33:44Speaker 4: my second favorite for her after Dotton, But I do
- 33:49Speaker 4: think it's it's a warning. We'll see. Of course, it
- 33:52Speaker 4: was the right decision to keep him, because I mean,
- 33:55Speaker 4: you have another week as mine, as we'll take the
- 33:57Speaker 4: opportunity to get to know all of them as well
- 33:59Speaker 4: as you possibly can. Even if you're meeting family, which
- 34:02Speaker 4: you know it's overrated. Just show meeting family situation. It's
- 34:05Speaker 4: not like as serious as it probably would be.
- 34:08Speaker 2: It's not as overrated my book. That thing was intense, could.
- 34:13Speaker 4: The most intense week for the lead for sure. I
- 34:16Speaker 4: feel so bad for the lead going into hometowns because
- 34:20Speaker 4: like it's battered.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Yeah, you just come out of it feeling beat up,
- 34:24Speaker 2: like you're leading everybody on. You feel like the worst
- 34:27Speaker 2: human in the world. Then you're like, hey, don't worry.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Fantasy Sweets is next week, so hey, we'll be all better, like, no,
- 34:33Speaker 2: it's hard.
- 34:34Speaker 3: It's weird.
- 34:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm good. Yeah, you know better than I though, Yeah,
- 34:38Speaker 4: my bad.
- 34:39Speaker 3: So going in the next week, Ashley, your top three are.
- 34:44Speaker 4: My top three are still. I'm putting Xavier in my
- 34:49Speaker 4: top three, even though, like I wouldn't be surprised if
- 34:51Speaker 4: he does chicken out once he gets to that top three,
- 34:54Speaker 4: and then Dotton and then Joey, and I definitely think
- 34:57Speaker 4: Aaron Bie gets elimited in next week.
- 34:58Speaker 3: I agree.
- 34:59Speaker 2: I think that's my three as well. I'll have Xavier
- 35:01Speaker 2: as number one, I'll have Dot number two, Joey's number three.
- 35:04Speaker 2: I think Aaron b will be going home next week,
- 35:07Speaker 2: and I have a theory that it's on his own accord.
- 35:12Speaker 4: Why is that theory?
- 35:13Speaker 2: I just think that this is going to get too tough.
- 35:18Speaker 2: I think she he is going to start really expressing
- 35:22Speaker 2: feelings towards her, She's not gonna be able to reciprocate,
- 35:25Speaker 2: and as a result, he goes home. I don't know
- 35:27Speaker 2: this is my theory, but I just see it playing
- 35:30Speaker 2: out that way because I feel like he's at a
- 35:31Speaker 2: breaking point and if he doesn't get something soon from Charity,
- 35:34Speaker 2: then this whole thing is going to erupt and Aaron
- 35:37Speaker 2: b will be going home.
- 35:38Speaker 3: But who knows.
- 35:39Speaker 2: We'll wait and see. It's gonna be week six of
- 35:42Speaker 2: the season of The Bachelor. It's gonna be week six.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Really, it's so freaking fast. Okay, so what do you
- 35:49Speaker 4: make of that guy who we don't have a label
- 35:52Speaker 4: for that says like you have you really seen the
- 35:55Speaker 4: other side of Joey?
- 35:57Speaker 3: I thought that was Joey's dad.
- 35:58Speaker 4: Okay, probably is young, yeah, you know, probably just young.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I don't make much of it because I don't think
- 36:06Speaker 2: I don't think a parent, Like that's a big thing
- 36:09Speaker 2: for parents to say on nationally national television about their son, like, hey,
- 36:15Speaker 2: I know the real Joey. Do you think you've really
- 36:17Speaker 2: seen the real Joey? Because what is the follow up there?
- 36:19Speaker 2: We didn't see the follow up to his statement, like
- 36:21Speaker 2: the real Joey is carrying and genuine and this is
- 36:24Speaker 2: how he spends his life. Like, I think that's probably
- 36:26Speaker 2: where it goes, because if not, it's like, have you
- 36:28Speaker 2: seen the real Joey? Because he sucks like he's terrible. Like,
- 36:32Speaker 2: I don't see a parent doing that to their child
- 36:34Speaker 2: on national television.
- 36:35Speaker 3: I just don't.
- 36:35Speaker 4: Okay, this is how I see it. I think that
- 36:38Speaker 4: he is going to tell her that he's more of
- 36:42Speaker 4: a free spirit than she knows. He moved to Hawaii
- 36:46Speaker 4: to be a tennis coach. He kind of just does
- 36:49Speaker 4: what he feels, and he's not sure if like he's
- 36:53Speaker 4: totally ready to have like a that settled down in life.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Sure, and that's fair and she can go.
- 36:59Speaker 4: I get it's silly theory, but that's mine.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I don't think it's a big deal.
- 37:02Speaker 2: It's nothing to fret about, it's nothing to like start
- 37:05Speaker 2: thinking about. I think it's a really great line in
- 37:07Speaker 2: a preview for an episode that is going to play
- 37:10Speaker 2: out exactly like we expect. And then, in my opinion,
- 37:13Speaker 2: it's all up in the air once we get down
- 37:15Speaker 2: to the final three. I can't tell you how how
- 37:18Speaker 2: it works out, or how it happens or what goes on.
- 37:20Speaker 2: I just will be shocked if anybody but Aaron B
- 37:23Speaker 2: does not go home this that next week. I think
- 37:25Speaker 2: he has to go home. I think it's his time
- 37:27Speaker 2: to go home. I think he's holding on by a thread. Ashley,
- 37:31Speaker 2: we do have to get the headlines here, let's do it.
- 37:34Speaker 4: But I'm very excited about next week. I will say
- 37:36Speaker 4: that next week's teaser it looks like one of the
- 37:39Speaker 4: more juicy teasers.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Yeah. So far, I've enjoyed this season. I've been hooked.
- 37:43Speaker 2: I've enjoyed watching each episode. I don't think the drama
- 37:46Speaker 2: is as high as past seasons, which has been enjoyable.
- 37:50Speaker 4: I have missed totally fine.
- 37:52Speaker 2: I have missed some of the cliffhangers that like really
- 37:55Speaker 2: get my heart pumping, or I'm like, how could somebody
- 37:57Speaker 2: say and do that. I've missed that a little bit,
- 37:59Speaker 2: but not enough to not want to watch the next
- 38:03Speaker 2: episode because I do want to see how Charity's you know,
- 38:05Speaker 2: story plays out. But I have missed a little bit
- 38:08Speaker 2: of drama. This has been a very drama free season.
- 38:11Speaker 3: In my opinion.
- 38:12Speaker 2: You haven't had a lot they've they've pulled out. I
- 38:17Speaker 2: think they've shown us all drama that has existed, and
- 38:20Speaker 2: it's been very little.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Did you were you sad that you missed the Braiden
- 38:25Speaker 4: interview last week?
- 38:26Speaker 3: Yeah? Very sad. How'd it go?
- 38:29Speaker 4: I think it went very well. I think you would
- 38:32Speaker 4: have liked it more afterward. Really, Yeah, Well, a lot
- 38:35Speaker 4: of it has to do with the fact, like he
- 38:36Speaker 4: showed he was at work, like in his scrubs doing
- 38:39Speaker 4: the interview and he works in the psych word.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Oh wow, okay, yeah, well thanks for doing that. Yeah.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Listeners, if you haven't listened to the Braiden Interview, go
- 38:49Speaker 2: back listen to it actually does an incredible job. I
- 38:53Speaker 2: would have loved to be there, but I was driving
- 38:56Speaker 2: through the heartland of the United States, my way back
- 39:00Speaker 2: to Denver.
- 39:01Speaker 4: With the dog, with the man and his dog and
- 39:03Speaker 4: his truck.
- 39:04Speaker 3: That's right, were you in a truck?
- 39:06Speaker 4: I what a country song?
- 39:08Speaker 3: What a country song.
- 39:19Speaker 2: It's time for headlines, Bachelor Nations, Raving Gates and Adam
- 39:23Speaker 2: welcome second baby.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Let's go woo do woo.
- 39:28Speaker 4: I can't believe she had another baby, Like it feels
- 39:31Speaker 4: like yesterday that Raydon and I were going back and
- 39:34Speaker 4: forth via voice message and text and all that when
- 39:38Speaker 4: we gave birth, because we gave birth like ten days
- 39:42Speaker 4: of each other. She showed her, she told her story.
- 39:45Speaker 4: She's just the best. I love her so much. She's
- 39:47Speaker 4: just the cutest little thing in the entire world, and
- 39:50Speaker 4: such a strong mama. She gave birth yesterday on her
- 39:54Speaker 4: thirty second birthday. We don't know whether it's a girl
- 39:57Speaker 4: or a boy. Yet they never did a gender. I
- 40:00Speaker 4: don't know why I'm so invested in I want to know.
- 40:04Speaker 4: But it was her birthday. The sea section just landed
- 40:07Speaker 4: on that day and it was a scheduled sea section
- 40:10Speaker 4: multiple reasons. You can go to Raven for all the
- 40:14Speaker 4: explanation on that. And it went very very well. Her
- 40:19Speaker 4: first birth was extremely traumatic. It ended in an emergency
- 40:23Speaker 4: sea section. I'm so glad that this one went easy, pasy.
- 40:27Speaker 4: They went to the hospital at like five thirty am.
- 40:29Speaker 4: It's kind of like your routine surgery. And the baby
- 40:34Speaker 4: was born eight pounds six ounces, which is around the
- 40:39Speaker 4: weight that Gates was born, and he's twenty one inches long.
- 40:44Speaker 4: They kind of had some fun on social media about
- 40:46Speaker 4: how big the kid would be, especially since Gates is
- 40:48Speaker 4: a very large eighteen month old. That kid looks like
- 40:52Speaker 4: a full blown two and a half year old. Anyway,
- 40:55Speaker 4: congratulations to the couple. They are so amazing. We're so
- 40:59Speaker 4: happy for them, so happy that it was a smooth
- 41:01Speaker 4: delivery this time.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Very happy for them. What a great couple. One couple
- 41:06Speaker 2: that you know doesn't get, you know, talked about. I
- 41:10Speaker 2: don't think as from the bachelor, but part of that
- 41:13Speaker 2: is because they've, Yeah, they lived their life and they're
- 41:16Speaker 2: doing great at it.
- 41:17Speaker 4: Well.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Abigail and Noah, another Bachelor in Paradise couple, are moving
- 41:22Speaker 2: to Oklahoma. The quote is half y'all are so concerned, ashlely,
- 41:25Speaker 2: what does that mean?
- 41:28Speaker 4: Okay, So they've been living in San Diego together for
- 41:30Speaker 4: the last two years and they just announced a couple
- 41:32Speaker 4: of weeks ago on social that they are moving to Oklahoma.
- 41:35Speaker 4: They bought a house, they're ready to plant roots there,
- 41:38Speaker 4: and even people are just going crazy asking why Tulsa,
- 41:42Speaker 4: and Abigail wrote, half of y'all are so excited for us,
- 41:45Speaker 4: and half of y'all are so concerned. Fair I didn't
- 41:49Speaker 4: know anything about Tulsa un till two years ago. But
- 41:52Speaker 4: here's some reasons why we chose Tulsa for our home base,
- 41:56Speaker 4: she said. One, the cost of living it would have been,
- 42:00Speaker 4: and they've had to spend two to three times more
- 42:03Speaker 4: on house to get everything that they wanted in California,
- 42:06Speaker 4: and we kept renting and they were ready to just
- 42:09Speaker 4: be homeowners, said friends and family. We want to be
- 42:12Speaker 4: closer to people, our people, and for a couple of reasons,
- 42:16Speaker 4: we decided that we didn't want to settle down in Oregon,
- 42:18Speaker 4: which would be where she's from. She said, my parents
- 42:21Speaker 4: are visiting mean September, so operation get them to move
- 42:25Speaker 4: to Tulsa with me starts now. She also says she
- 42:29Speaker 4: likes the slower pace living. I love living in the Portland,
- 42:33Speaker 4: New York City, La San Diego area. But I'm so
- 42:36Speaker 4: fortunate for those experiences, but I realized that what I
- 42:41Speaker 4: did not like. She says she loves a slower pace,
- 42:44Speaker 4: a small town feel of Tulsa. It reminds her of
- 42:48Speaker 4: a lot of where she grew up and where she's happiest,
- 42:51Speaker 4: and she's excited to show the following all about their
- 42:55Speaker 4: life in Tulsa. I do believe that Noah is from
- 42:58Speaker 4: the Tulsa area.
- 43:00Speaker 3: I think so too.
- 43:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:02Speaker 2: Matt, James and Rachel address breakup rumors. We've been through
- 43:06Speaker 2: so much according to Bachelor.
- 43:08Speaker 4: Nation, She said, I think that we've been through so
- 43:11Speaker 4: much at this point that nothing really phazes us. I
- 43:13Speaker 4: get it because we're together so much. Whenever our schedules
- 43:16Speaker 4: don't line up, or whenever we have things going on solo,
- 43:20Speaker 4: people start speculating. I do think that it comes from
- 43:23Speaker 4: a place of love, and like, people just worry about
- 43:28Speaker 4: us as a couple because they're so invested in us.
- 43:30Speaker 4: But yeah, she just said, you know, when they do
- 43:32Speaker 4: have a few weeks off doing separate things, everybody worries.
- 43:36Speaker 4: But they're very much together right now.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Happy for them, they're still doing great. Well, that's all
- 43:41Speaker 2: we have for you today, and this has been another
- 43:43Speaker 2: episode of the Almost Famous Podcasts. We'll be back next week.
- 43:46Speaker 2: I'm breaking down Week six of the Bachelorette. But until then,
- 43:50Speaker 2: I've been Ben, I've been Ashley.
- 43:52Speaker 4: See by follow.
- 43:54Speaker 1: The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast on iHeartRadio
