- 0:00Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 0:03Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 0:43Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 0:46Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 0:55Speaker 1: border and families will.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Be protected sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:00Speaker 3: So how did you even get to the point where
- 1:02Speaker 3: you're even allowed to do government contract Because it's not
- 1:05Speaker 3: like anybody off the street can just like I'm gonna
- 1:07Speaker 3: do this tomorrow.
- 1:08Speaker 4: So yeah, it ain't that fast. That's right, the thousand right,
- 1:11Speaker 4: it ain't that fast.
- 1:12Speaker 5: But remember it took me three years to get a
- 1:15Speaker 5: government my first one. I was to the point where
- 1:18Speaker 5: I didn't even know what the LLC was. Like, I
- 1:21Speaker 5: was that like far removed from business, from strategies. That's
- 1:26Speaker 5: why the community appreciates y'all because y'all giving us that
- 1:29Speaker 5: type of information very very quickly. Right And obviously we're
- 1:32Speaker 5: in twenty twenty three. You can find out anything right now.
- 1:35Speaker 5: But back then, I didn't even know what the LLC was.
- 1:38Speaker 5: I didn't know a lot of things, and I had
- 1:40Speaker 5: to do a lot of research and digging. I'm all
- 1:43Speaker 5: self taught, so I had to find out what the
- 1:45Speaker 5: LLC was first formulate that. Then I had to go
- 1:49Speaker 5: into the database sam dot gov and register my company.
- 1:52Speaker 5: So that all took a while. There was a whole
- 1:54Speaker 5: learning curve for me. I mean, I'm an do I
- 1:56Speaker 5: don't even like to read still to this day, I
- 1:58Speaker 5: don't like to read. Got no patience, so I like
- 2:01Speaker 5: things just as quick as the next person. But I
- 2:03Speaker 5: had to have patients to teach myself exactly how to
- 2:07Speaker 5: be a valuable vendor for the federal government.
- 2:09Speaker 3: So that acronym. I looked it up, so SAM system
- 2:12Speaker 3: for Award Management. So you got to apply for that.
- 2:15Speaker 3: You do, you got How how long is that process too?
- 2:17Speaker 3: It takes like two or three weeks, two or three weeks.
- 2:19Speaker 3: And then after you do that, you receive UEI Unique
- 2:23Speaker 3: Entity Identify.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Yes, sir, So that's just saying your business social Security
- 2:29Speaker 5: number to the federal government. So you got that, you
- 2:33Speaker 5: got the UEI, and then you got a cage COD
- 2:36Speaker 5: c age COD right, The cage code is the same thing.
- 2:40Speaker 5: It's two company identifies that let the federal government know
- 2:43Speaker 5: on all levels that you are a valuable approved vendor
- 2:47Speaker 5: to do business and bid on government contracts.
- 2:50Speaker 6: So what all? Right? So the first one is the
- 2:52Speaker 6: grease trap. What's the next contract?
- 2:54Speaker 5: Oh Man Close Close dry cleaning seven thousand dollars a
- 2:59Speaker 5: month for just dry clean and clothes for clothes I
- 3:02Speaker 5: never seen or I don't have a dry cleaning company
- 3:06Speaker 5: or nothing like that. Right, So they the government dry
- 3:09Speaker 5: cleans your clothes, bed sheets, uniforms, et cetera.
- 3:14Speaker 4: But somebody has to do that, right, So.
- 3:17Speaker 5: They created a solicitation, which is what companies like mine's
- 3:22Speaker 5: bid on and I want a contract.
- 3:24Speaker 6: So I feel like just government workers, I gotta get
- 3:26Speaker 6: that clothed clean.
- 3:27Speaker 5: Yeah, uniforms and stuff like that. They provide that service
- 3:30Speaker 5: for free for people in the military.
- 3:33Speaker 6: So all right, so a few things. So how are
- 3:36Speaker 6: you like, So you just going on a database and
- 3:38Speaker 6: just seeing randomly, Okay, I need this, and then you
- 3:42Speaker 6: find a dry cleaner or you already have a dry
- 3:44Speaker 6: cleaner and you're looking for a.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Dry clean Nah.
- 3:46Speaker 5: So I do it the other way, like you said,
- 3:49Speaker 5: I'm gonna look for what the request is first. It's
- 3:52Speaker 5: too hard to say, all right, y'all got a long
- 3:55Speaker 5: care business, let me look for contracts for y'all.
- 3:58Speaker 4: That's put me in a box.
- 4:00Speaker 5: That's making me say, okay, I only need to concentrate
- 4:02Speaker 5: on looking for longcair companies because I got to look
- 4:04Speaker 5: for a contract for this company.
- 4:06Speaker 4: I'm in the box that way.
- 4:07Speaker 5: But if I look at all the requests for proposals
- 4:11Speaker 5: or the solicitations that the government's saying we need these services,
- 4:15Speaker 5: I can pick and choose at my legion be like
- 4:17Speaker 5: all right, I won't I like this, this is this,
- 4:18Speaker 5: and then I can go find the companies. To find
- 4:20Speaker 5: the companies is the easier part than to find something
- 4:24Speaker 5: in a niche that you can only do or your
- 4:28Speaker 5: company can only do. I'm not finding niches. I'm finding
- 4:31Speaker 5: what the request is and then I go get the companies.
- 4:33Speaker 6: So did you all right? So let's take this by example,
- 4:35Speaker 6: this dry clean situation. You were on the website what's
- 4:37Speaker 6: the website called against.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Sam dot gov? So you say dot gov.
- 4:40Speaker 6: You went on that website and you saw it something
- 4:42Speaker 6: that was interesting. What made that stick up to you?
- 4:45Speaker 5: Because it's a service, Right, I'm building residual income from
- 4:50Speaker 5: the biggest purchaser in the world, the federal government.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Right, it ain't going nowhere. That's really recession proof.
- 4:57Speaker 5: That's really talks of financial literacy because they ain't going nowhere.
- 5:01Speaker 5: When I see that it's a service and it's due
- 5:04Speaker 5: every month for the next four or five years, guess
- 5:06Speaker 5: what I'm chilling.
- 5:07Speaker 4: I ain't hunting.
- 5:08Speaker 5: The name of the game is to get a business
- 5:10Speaker 5: where you can remove yourself from and you don't have
- 5:12Speaker 5: to hunt.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Every single day for it. So that's appealing to me.
- 5:16Speaker 5: And I recognize that because that's kind of like the
- 5:18Speaker 5: street game too a little bit.
- 5:19Speaker 6: So I brought so you saw that the next thing
- 5:22Speaker 6: you say, Okay, I want to find did you? So
- 5:24Speaker 6: what made you pick Because even picking a business is
- 5:27Speaker 6: important because you don't want to pick a business that
- 5:29Speaker 6: doesn't do a good job.
- 5:29Speaker 4: That's true.
- 5:30Speaker 6: So how did you find a business? And how did
- 5:32Speaker 6: you have that conversation with the owner?
- 5:34Speaker 3: Like?
- 5:34Speaker 6: How was that process?
- 5:36Speaker 4: That was difficult?
- 5:37Speaker 5: I mean because where I'm com where I came from
- 5:41Speaker 5: in terms of learning business and learning certain conversations navigate.
- 5:45Speaker 4: That was kind of difficult.
- 5:46Speaker 3: But this episode is brought to you by P and

- 7:38Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 7:42Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 7:46Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 7:50Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 7:54Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 7:58Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 8:01Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 8:06Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 8:10Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 8:13Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 8:17Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you will

- 8:33Speaker 1: border and families will.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Be protected sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 8:38Speaker 5: When I told the owner, Hey, I'm already doing a
- 8:41Speaker 5: contract at that facility, that makes it more easier. Now
- 8:45Speaker 5: if people don't have that Todair name, then they can
- 8:48Speaker 5: just navigate the conversation and say can you do this job? Oh,
- 8:51Speaker 5: you can you're going to be doing it for X
- 8:54Speaker 5: amount of pounds per month, and that looks good to
- 8:58Speaker 5: a struggling business or a small own business. Because I
- 9:00Speaker 5: only called small businesses that I know need.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Work or like that you used personally, Well, no, not
- 9:06Speaker 6: because I don't want to use them personally, because I
- 9:07Speaker 6: need them to look at me as a boss.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Right.
- 9:09Speaker 5: If I go to somebody that hasn't looked at me
- 9:12Speaker 5: in that light and I say, hey, I need you
- 9:14Speaker 5: to do this work, now, the conversation is difficult because
- 9:17Speaker 5: I got to create the hierarchy versus when I don't
- 9:19Speaker 5: know you. I've already created a hierarchy when I get
- 9:22Speaker 5: on that phone, so they already know I'm a businessman
- 9:24Speaker 5: or a boss or whatever I choose to be when
- 9:26Speaker 5: I first get on the phone.
- 9:27Speaker 4: The greense trap took you three years. Then you got that.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Then obviously the laundry business service. So inside of that,
- 9:35Speaker 3: you're competing against other people. For sure, you're not the
- 9:37Speaker 3: only one that's trying to get this contract. So how
- 9:40Speaker 3: many people are I mean, are you going up against it?
- 9:43Speaker 3: And what separated you to say the government to say like,
- 9:46Speaker 3: all right, this is who we're going with.
- 9:47Speaker 5: Yeah, so I don't know the answer to that, like
- 9:49Speaker 5: that's the that's my number one rule. If I don't know,
- 9:51Speaker 5: I don't know. I don't know how many people I've
- 9:54Speaker 5: been in against, but I don't care. The thing that
- 9:57Speaker 5: separates me from others, I don't know that either, But
- 10:00Speaker 5: I do know I'm more phone heavy than email. Most
- 10:04Speaker 5: people think networking is going to a conference, a government
- 10:09Speaker 5: contract and conference and speaking to somebody that works for
- 10:12Speaker 5: the DD.
- 10:13Speaker 4: To me, that's not network. I prove that right. So
- 10:16Speaker 4: if their.
- 10:16Speaker 5: Phone numbers and things of that nature listed on these solicitations,
- 10:20Speaker 5: I'm picking up the phone. I'm gonna make sure that
- 10:23Speaker 5: I'm memorable to this individual that picked up the phone.
- 10:25Speaker 5: So now when my proposal come across, they oh, that
- 10:29Speaker 5: was that dude, that was him, that was this that company.
- 10:32Speaker 5: Because I don't know how old y'all are, right, that's
- 10:34Speaker 5: how old I am. I could write on a paper application.
- 10:39Speaker 5: I could get an application, fill it out, and I
- 10:41Speaker 5: don't give it back to the person that give it
- 10:43Speaker 5: to me. I say right to hey, can I speak
- 10:44Speaker 5: to the hiring manager? When I give my paper application
- 10:48Speaker 5: to the hiring manager? Guess what I just put a
- 10:49Speaker 5: face to the name that fast. I gave myself my
- 10:52Speaker 5: own interview that quickly, and I do that and I
- 10:55Speaker 5: continue to do that with the federal government. I gave
- 10:58Speaker 5: myself my own interview. Hey, that's who I am, this
- 11:01Speaker 5: is what I got going on, this is my proposal
- 11:03Speaker 5: that I'm going to submit in the next two or
- 11:05Speaker 5: three days. And then I called back and I follow up.
- 11:07Speaker 5: So although I can't answer how I was, I separated,
- 11:12Speaker 5: but I think that's a big separator to just pick
- 11:14Speaker 5: up the phone.
- 11:15Speaker 6: So and then also, your company is like let's say,
- 11:21Speaker 6: like white Services professional services right when it's broad range,
- 11:24Speaker 6: it's like a middleman company, so it doesn't specialize in
- 11:29Speaker 6: any one thing. That's a variety of different things. But
- 11:32Speaker 6: you can't. So being that is the case, I guess
- 11:34Speaker 6: you can't qualify for the nw NWBE right that minority business.
- 11:39Speaker 5: So I can because any certifications isn't based off contracts,
- 11:44Speaker 5: it's based off of who is.
- 11:46Speaker 4: In that company.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Case in point, if I wanted to get a veteran
- 11:50Speaker 5: owned certification, somebody in my company would need to be
- 11:53Speaker 5: a veteran. If I wanted to get a woman owned certification,
- 11:57Speaker 5: somebody in that company needs to be a woman and
- 12:00Speaker 5: control fifty one percent. So it's not about what type
- 12:02Speaker 5: of contracts you get, it's who is in your company
- 12:05Speaker 5: that allows you to qualify for those certifications, not.
- 12:09Speaker 6: The contrat do you have then Nah, I don't need them.
- 12:12Speaker 6: You don't think it's necessary.
- 12:13Speaker 4: No, it's not. So you don't win.
- 12:15Speaker 5: You don't get awarded contracts from certifications.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Certifications do not help you win.
- 12:21Speaker 5: They just help you go over here to this pool
- 12:25Speaker 5: where the government is mandated to give you the money
- 12:27Speaker 5: over here in this smaller pool. But guess what, when
- 12:29Speaker 5: you're in that smaller pool, you still got to do what.
- 12:31Speaker 5: You still got to bid. So if you don't know
- 12:33Speaker 5: the bidding process and you got this shiny stick of
- 12:36Speaker 5: to go over here in VIP, but you still don't
- 12:38Speaker 5: know how to bid. If I get this certification, I
- 12:40Speaker 5: come over here. They did because they don't know the
- 12:42Speaker 5: bidding process. That's why a lot of people don't do
- 12:45Speaker 5: government contract in the right way. They think to start
- 12:48Speaker 5: the business, you got to be in business for two years,
- 12:50Speaker 5: get all these certifications.
- 12:52Speaker 4: But they missed the best piece.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Bidding and understanding what those price points look like and
- 12:57Speaker 5: how to submit proposals. So now you. You got your certification,
- 13:01Speaker 5: and you've been ob and his pool for two three years.
- 13:04Speaker 4: And haven't won a contract.
- 13:06Speaker 5: I don't know how many people I've talked to Harry
- 13:08Speaker 5: up and run out and got their certifications.
- 13:10Speaker 4: They ain't never won a contract, Danny Life. So is
- 13:12Speaker 4: it necessary?
- 13:13Speaker 2: No?
- 13:14Speaker 4: Should you get it?
- 13:15Speaker 5: If you can qualify for it? Yeah, but you got
- 13:16Speaker 5: to understand how to leverage it when the timing is right.
- 13:25Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
