- 0:00Speaker 1: Clear your schedules this Monday night. Halloween may have come
- 0:03Speaker 1: and gone, but this should be a real treat. Minnesota
- 0:06Speaker 1: at home may be having to rebound from their first
- 0:09Speaker 1: loss of the year, but that D is Terry Hatcher
- 0:12Speaker 1: level still. Real and as spectacular as ever.
- 0:15Speaker 2: They go quick. Goff is sacked for the fourth time
- 0:18Speaker 2: this first half.
- 0:20Speaker 1: They are going from a bout with Mr. Sandman straight
- 0:22Speaker 1: to Tyson. have to try and punch out Josh Allen
- 0:25Speaker 1: in the Bills' offense next, which means we get the
- 0:28Speaker 1: number one scoring defense getting in the ring with the
- 0:31Speaker 1: number one scoring offense.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Fourth and goal for Buffalo. Going up high. Allen's got it. Touchdown.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Since 1970, week eight or later, those monster matchups split
- 0:43Speaker 1: a Jerry, even Steven at eight apiece. Bills, the only
- 0:47Speaker 1: team over 30 a game this year at 33 per.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Top six good on third down and the red zone.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Converted three of four chances versus Baltimore. Hung 36 points
- 0:57Speaker 1: on him when the workday was done.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Allen steps. He throws. Touchdown. That's the record for Josh Allen.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Against the only defense holding teams under 15 a game.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Vikings at 13.3 per contest held the third highest scoring
- 1:13Speaker 1: team in the league to 19 a week ago. Nobody
- 1:16Speaker 1: harder to score on inside the 20, held Detroit to
- 1:19Speaker 1: one for three there. Second toughest to extend drives against,
- 1:23Speaker 1: stopped the Lions on eight of 13 tries.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Goff to throw, blitz in his face, tipped in the air.
- 1:29Speaker 3: This Vikings defense causing problems already.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Josh Allen versus a Vikings secondary holding quarterbacks to the
- 1:36Speaker 1: lowest rate, lowest completion percentage, fewest yards per game. Ask
- 1:40Speaker 1: Jared Goff about him. 176 yards, sub-90 rate, the only
- 1:45Speaker 1: team that has picked him off.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Blitz coming as it normally is.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Goff near side, and it's intercepted!
- 1:51Speaker 2: And James Pierre took advantage.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Allen, 289 yards versus Baltimore, three touchdowns, 8.5 yards per attempt,
- 1:58Speaker 1: leads the NFL in yards per completion at a robust
- 2:02Speaker 1: 13 per in yards per attempt at 8.7. He's not
- 2:06Speaker 1: out there to dink and dunk.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Ball fake. Oh, that's a BB from Josh Allen.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Has only been sacked more than twice in one game
- 2:15Speaker 1: so far. Took one a week ago.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Gets out of it initially. Another spin move by Allen. Allen,
- 2:21Speaker 4: he is human.
- 2:22Speaker 1: He has been picked off in four of their last five.
- 2:25Speaker 1: One interception versus the Ravens. Three of his five INTs
- 2:29Speaker 1: have come against the Blitz, too, as a sub-90 rate
- 2:33Speaker 1: versus 5+.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Allen throws. That's pumped up in the air. Intercepted.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So how does he fare versus a pass rush that
- 2:41Speaker 1: would blitz a 10-year-old playing Pop Warner on every down?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Get this. Their season rate of blitzing, 73% of the time,
- 2:49Speaker 1: is ridiculous. They sent extra bodies after Goff. 89% of
- 2:54Speaker 1: his throws.
- 2:54Speaker 2: 89%.
- 2:55Speaker 1: And he had good numbers versus 5+. Vikings blew him
- 2:59Speaker 1: up four times.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Look out!
- 3:01Speaker 5: Pressure!
- 3:02Speaker 3: Eric Wilson right up the gut in another sack.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Now, they didn't have to worry about Goff taking off.
- 3:08Speaker 1: They will with Josh. Has nine rush TDs, and while
- 3:12Speaker 1: most are sneaks, he ran for 121 yards a few
- 3:15Speaker 1: weeks back. We know he can take off with the
- 3:18Speaker 1: best of them.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Allen steps up.
- 3:20Speaker 5: The fake.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Oh, Josh Allen, first down.
- 3:24Speaker 1: And of course, there's James Cook. We warned everybody last
- 3:27Speaker 1: week about Minnesota's defensive exhaust port. And sure enough, Jameer
- 3:31Speaker 1: Gibbs was able to drop a proton torpedo right down it.
- 3:34Speaker 1: As he ran over them for 153 yards on 6.7
- 3:39Speaker 1: a carry plus a score, he was the reason Detroit
- 3:42Speaker 1: scratched out those 19 points.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Crack pitch, sprinting through, Gibbs, foot race.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Sent the Vikes yard per carry average tumbling to 4.5 per.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Cook is one of the few backs averaging over 100
- 3:56Speaker 1: yards per game down low, hitting it over 5 a run.
- 4:00Speaker 1: scored his seventh TD last week with 80 yards.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Give it to him. Cook's got the angle. Touchdown, Buffalo!
- 4:07Speaker 1: When Allen tests Minnesota's secondary, his big three. Dalton Kincaid,
- 4:11Speaker 1: kind of quiet for four games, then... 86 yards and
- 4:14Speaker 1: a touchdown versus Baltimore.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Bootleg. Allen sets his feet. Throws. Wide open. Dalton Kincaid.
- 4:22Speaker 1: DJ Moore returned from injury. Scored as well. 82 yards.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Hauled in a big 49-yarder.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Loads it up. Deep ball. DJ Moore. Tremendous catch.
- 4:33Speaker 1: And Khalil Shakir, 64 yards a week ago. 60-plus in
- 4:37Speaker 1: three of his last four.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Allen for Shakir. He's slippery.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Like last week, the other side of the coin isn't
- 4:45Speaker 1: as shiny. It's a Bills defense, 25th ranked in scoring
- 4:49Speaker 1: versus a Minnesota offense ranked 27th in scoring at just
- 4:53Speaker 1: 20 a game. No team has made it into the
- 4:55Speaker 1: red zone less often. Bad on third down, three for
- 4:59Speaker 1: 10 last week, only 15 points.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Lions come with a blitz. Looking, still alive, pumping and
- 5:05Speaker 2: throwing deep to nowhere.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It's a Bills defense, 24th ranked in scoring, not good
- 5:09Speaker 1: in the red zone or on third down, but they
- 5:11Speaker 1: at least didn't allow a third-string quarterback to do much
- 5:14Speaker 1: of anything last week. Held Baltimore to 10 points, three
- 5:17Speaker 1: for 13 on third down, one for three in the
- 5:20Speaker 1: red zone.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Fagnano breaks away, but not nearly enough.
- 5:24Speaker 1: They faced one Lamar pass attempt, four from Tyler Huntley
- 5:28Speaker 1: and 21 from Joe Fagnano. Held him to 91 yards,
- 5:31Speaker 1: 4.3 yards per attempt. No touchdowns picked him off for
- 5:35Speaker 1: a 40 rating.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Fagnano loads it up. It is intercepted.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Even after that, it's a pass defense, allowing the second
- 5:43Speaker 1: most yards per game. So nobody was writing home to
- 5:46Speaker 1: mom about it afterwards. Kyler Murray has to be better
- 5:49Speaker 1: than Fagnano, right?
- 5:51Speaker 2: Right?
- 5:51Speaker 1: On paper, he threw for a couple of touchdowns, hit
- 5:54Speaker 1: on a nice deep pass to Jordan Addison.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Murray thinking deep. He's got Addison open. He's got it!
- 6:01Speaker 1: He found TJ Hawkinson for a touchdown, 58 yards.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Murray stands in, throws Hawkinson right down the seam.
- 6:09Speaker 1: And he connected with Justin Jefferson on a TD. A
- 6:12Speaker 1: TD that JJ made happen.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You're going to throw it in the corner. It is Jefferson. Oh,
- 6:17Speaker 2: he came down with it.
- 6:18Speaker 5: What a catch.
- 6:19Speaker 1: For that one fan that was tired of me calling
- 6:21Speaker 1: his dance anything but the gritty, there, that's for you.
- 6:24Speaker 1: He does the gritty. But many in Skull Nation are
- 6:27Speaker 1: tired of all the misfires. Jefferson with just 33 yards
- 6:30Speaker 1: versus Detroit has finished with less than 45 yards in
- 6:34Speaker 1: three of their last four. That's like Cameron's dad wasting
- 6:37Speaker 1: that Ferrari by just parking it. Kyler hasn't been leading
- 6:40Speaker 1: them on enough scoring drives, back-to-back games completing less than 60%
- 6:44Speaker 1: of his passes.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Time. End zone.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Incomplete.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Went up high, but a little too high for Justin Jefferson.
- 6:52Speaker 1: He was nursing a sore hammy after the game, so
- 6:54Speaker 1: Carson Wentz may be getting the call anyway. So keep
- 6:57Speaker 1: that on your radar. Murray sacked three times by Detroit.
- 7:00Speaker 1: 29 pass attempts. Three to four sacks taken in four
- 7:03Speaker 1: of his last five.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Third and long here. They send a blitz. Murray in trouble.
- 7:08Speaker 2: He's sacked again.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Bill's pass rush only has 15 sacks for the year.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Gregory Rousseau has seven of them. He had one of
- 7:16Speaker 1: the four they picked up in their win last week,
- 7:18Speaker 1: so they're coming off an ice cube day.
- 7:20Speaker 2: He gets crushed. Ball is free. Buffalo football.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Vikings only ran the ball 18 times versus Detroit. Had
- 7:29Speaker 1: Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, too. Neither guy with even
- 7:32Speaker 1: 23 yards. Bills only faced 11 Derrick Henry runs, 53 yards.
- 7:37Speaker 1: They are holding runners to 3-9 a carry. Bills in
- 7:40Speaker 1: the 10 flag club last week, for what that's worth.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Green Bay Packers back in the dub column off to
- 7:47Speaker 1: New England this week. Winners of four of their last five.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Again to the end zone, and this time the catch
- 7:53Speaker 2: is made by Golden for the touchdown.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Patriots also have won four of their last five. Offense
- 8:00Speaker 1: has found a groove, posting at least 24 points in
- 8:03Speaker 1: five straight.
- 8:04Speaker 5: And he's got room to run. Instead, he throws, and
- 8:06Speaker 5: it's caught by Douglas. Turns it the other way.
- 8:08Speaker 6: Douglas at the 20.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Douglas splits the defense. Touchdown, New England!
- 8:14Speaker 1: New England didn't blow the Dolphins out of the water,
- 8:17Speaker 1: but 24 points when A.J. Brown and Travion Henderson were out,
- 8:21Speaker 1: as well as having two starting wide receivers and two
- 8:24Speaker 1: starting linemen on IR, ain't so bad. And that Drake
- 8:27Speaker 1: May chap ain't so bad either. 16 of 20 versus Miami,
- 8:31Speaker 1: two touchdowns, a 141-rate game, has now put together four
- 8:36Speaker 1: straight 100-plus rating games, two to four TDs, and five straight.
- 8:40Speaker 5: Steps up, hit as he throws, looking deep down the field.
- 8:42Speaker 2: He's got Williams!
- 8:43Speaker 6: Touchdown!
- 8:45Speaker 1: New England's offense faces a defense that's been balling, have
- 8:49Speaker 1: held the last five teams they've played under 21 points,
- 8:52Speaker 1: kept Carolina to 19, just 3.7 yards per play. Below
- 8:57Speaker 1: four is elite stuff, just five for 18 on third down.
- 9:01Speaker 7: He theoretically has time, but with all the pressure he's
- 9:04Speaker 7: been under, he got uncomfortable.
- 9:07Speaker 1: May has to worry about a Packers pass rush that
- 9:10Speaker 1: comes in off a Bryce Sixer. LVN now has four
- 9:13Speaker 1: and a half sacks after nabbing one. Tyron Hopper with
- 9:17Speaker 1: one plus three passes defensed, starting to gain favor among
- 9:21Speaker 1: Packers fans.
- 9:22Speaker 2: That's batted in the air and taken out of the
- 9:25Speaker 2: air by Hopper.
- 9:26Speaker 1: And the secondary May takes on held young to 209 yards,
- 9:30Speaker 1: a 68 rating, which brought their season rate down to 78,
- 9:34Speaker 1: only allowing 5.7 yards per attempt. Quietly, one of the
- 9:38Speaker 1: toughest teams to pass on, at the halfway-ish mark of
- 9:42Speaker 1: the season.
- 9:42Speaker 7: Heck of a job by the veteran there, McKinney, knocking
- 9:45Speaker 7: that ball loose.
- 9:46Speaker 1: May did take three sacks last week. While injuries are
- 9:49Speaker 1: part of it, right tackle Morgan Moses gave up one.
- 9:52Speaker 1: He has allowed a team-high three and a half for
- 9:55Speaker 1: the year.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I mean, he just beat three Patriots blockers right there.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Have to see if A.J. can make it back from
- 10:01Speaker 1: his ankle sprain. And tight end Hunter Henry left last
- 10:05Speaker 1: week hurt too, injured his foot. Kyle Williams hauled in
- 10:09Speaker 1: that 43-yard TD versus the Dolphins. DeMario Douglas led the
- 10:13Speaker 1: team with 76 yards and a touchdown.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Tough snap. Mayfield's it. Steps up, throws on the run.
- 10:18Speaker 5: He's got Pop Douglas.
- 10:19Speaker 6: And a first down for New England.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Pat's ground game hits week nine off a nice showing.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Corey Kiner, 38 yards, 5-4 per attempt. Ramondre Stevenson, 83 yards,
- 10:30Speaker 1: 4-3 a carry.
- 10:31Speaker 6: Stevenson picks up the first down, up to the 43-yard line.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Unlike the hats their fans wear, there is no holes
- 10:38Speaker 1: in Green Bay's D, as they're holding runners to 3-9
- 10:41Speaker 1: a try, held Chuba Hubbard to 3-7, Carolina to just
- 10:46Speaker 1: 82 yards on 3.6 per run.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Can he get the first? He cannot. Hubbard stops shy.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Green Bay has it.
- 10:53Speaker 1: It could be a low-scoring game because New England's defense
- 10:56Speaker 1: is just as stingy across most fronts. Also holding runners
- 11:00Speaker 1: under four a carry at 3-8 per try held Ollie Gordon,
- 11:04Speaker 1: who had looked good, to 3-6.
- 11:06Speaker 6: And off to Gordon, and Durden in the backfield makes
- 11:10Speaker 6: another play.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Patriots defense, top 10 in scoring at 20 points per game,
- 11:15Speaker 1: limited Miami to 19, have kept five of their opponents
- 11:18Speaker 1: under 20.
- 11:19Speaker 6: Pass deflected, it's up for grabs, and it's picked off!
- 11:22Speaker 6: Intercepted by Kevin Byard!
- 11:25Speaker 1: Slow Green Bay's passing attack in New England likely slows
- 11:29Speaker 1: their entire offense. It's still heavily reliant on being able
- 11:32Speaker 1: to move the ball through the air. Jordan Love, Christian Watson,
- 11:36Speaker 1: Matthew Golden, Tucker Kraft... the A-team quartet that typically drives things.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Jordan Love, the Hannibal of the group, two-plus TDs in
- 11:44Speaker 1: seven of eight games now after hanging three on Carolina.
- 11:48Speaker 1: 288 yards last week, 100-plus rate. Loves when a plan
- 11:53Speaker 1: comes together.
- 11:54Speaker 5: Throws, caught.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Panthers pass rushers last week as accurate as the bad
- 12:01Speaker 1: guys in that show. They didn't get to love once
- 12:04Speaker 1: on 41 pass attempts, only took one sack the week
- 12:07Speaker 1: prior to. So he's been getting good protection lately. Green
- 12:11Speaker 1: Bay got its season point per game average up to
- 12:14Speaker 1: 21 by finding 27 points versus the Panthers. under 24
- 12:18Speaker 1: points their previous two outings, converted all three red zone
- 12:22Speaker 1: trips week eight, nice nine for 16 on third down.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Very effective of getting away from pressure. He's able to
- 12:29Speaker 7: get outside and buy some time.
- 12:31Speaker 1: The face of the bunch, Christian Watson, 113 versus Carolina.
- 12:35Speaker 1: his third 100-yard game of the year.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Going deep, going long. He's got Watson there, pulls it
- 12:43Speaker 2: into the 25-yard line.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Matthew Golden, 79 yards and a touchdown. That's 79-plus in
- 12:49Speaker 1: three of his last four.
- 12:51Speaker 7: Not hesitating, not blinking. Goes right back to his guy, Golden,
- 12:56Speaker 7: for the touchdown.
- 12:56Speaker 1: His hands do drive Packers fans crazy at times, so
- 13:00Speaker 1: of course he's the Murdoch. Which leaves the B.A. of
- 13:03Speaker 1: the group, Tucker Kraft, 53 yards and a touchdown a
- 13:06Speaker 1: week ago, has caught five to six balls, four of
- 13:09Speaker 1: their last five, and of course, he pities the fool.
- 13:13Speaker 2: And that is hauled in for a touchdown by the
- 13:16Speaker 2: tight end, Tucker Kraft.
- 13:17Speaker 1: So, New England's pass defense has been a little Colonel
- 13:20Speaker 1: Decker this year. They're close a lot, but don't always
- 13:23Speaker 1: get there in time. Play against quarterbacks middle of the
- 13:26Speaker 1: pack for the season. Gave up a couple of touchdowns
- 13:29Speaker 1: to Malik Willis in their win.
- 13:30Speaker 5: Willis looks deep.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Wide open man. Touchdown!
- 13:33Speaker 1: That does not mean to say they played Willis poorly.
- 13:36Speaker 1: They picked him off and held him to 211 yards.
- 13:39Speaker 1: And only five teams have more sacks than New England.
- 13:42Speaker 1: They tracked down Willis five times. Corey Durden with one
- 13:46Speaker 1: and a half. Gabe Ackes with one and a half
- 13:48Speaker 1: as well.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Willis looks right, comes back the other way.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Ackes missed him, but he did not miss him the
- 13:53Speaker 6: second time.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Josh Jacobs comes off a two TD game, but New
- 13:57Speaker 1: England's defense is taking on a Packers offense that has
- 14:00Speaker 1: yet to rush for 90 yards in a game, hasn't
- 14:03Speaker 1: produced 81 in four straight games. Jacobs' return hasn't made
- 14:07Speaker 1: a difference. He only averaged 3.3 a run in his
- 14:10Speaker 1: first game back, then 1.9 a carry last week. Green
- 14:15Speaker 1: Bay with a measly 66 rush yards.
- 14:17Speaker 6: Nope.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Stuff.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Packers kicker Trey Smack missed another extra point last week,
- 14:24Speaker 1: skating on the thinnest of ice at this point. 49ers
- 14:28Speaker 1: at home after a week off. No team needed it more.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Nick Bosa, Mike Evans, Debo, Demarcus Robinson, CMC, all hoping
- 14:36Speaker 1: to be cleared by Hawkeye or Pierce. Hot lips if
- 14:39Speaker 1: need be. Get them boys back on the field so
- 14:41Speaker 1: we can see what this team's true potential is.
- 14:44Speaker 5: Still going.
- 14:45Speaker 8: The 20. Ball comes loose. The fourth San Francisco turnover.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Fire up some thin Lizzie. The boys are back in town.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Time for the next chapter in what is a very
- 14:56Speaker 1: underrated rivalry. The Raiders are back in the Bay Area
- 14:59Speaker 1: sitting on a 500 record.
- 15:02Speaker 8: And now he fires into the end zone with the interception.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Hopefully nobody gets up and slaps Johnny's face. If it happens,
- 15:10Speaker 1: just fall about the place, OK? But I'm here to
- 15:12Speaker 1: spread the word around about Kirk Cousins. Niners better not
- 15:16Speaker 1: take him lightly. 240 plus yards in seven straight games.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Two to three TDs in seven of eight games, comes
- 15:23Speaker 1: off a season-best 141-rate outing, hit New York with a
- 15:28Speaker 1: trio of touchdowns, 247 yards, no interceptions.
- 15:33Speaker 8: Cousins looking end zone, throws underneath, and it's taken into
- 15:37Speaker 8: the end zone.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Vegas' offense with 27 points per game after smacking the
- 15:42Speaker 1: Jets with 38. Only five teams popping for more per game,
- 15:46Speaker 1: at least 26 points in six of their eight outings.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Seven for 11 on third down last week, four for
- 15:52Speaker 1: four in Scott Hansen's house.
- 15:55Speaker 8: Number package in for the Raiders as Cousins.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Takes it in.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Raiders offense trying to score on a group, holding teams
- 16:02Speaker 1: to 19 a game. Tough to move the sticks against,
- 16:05Speaker 1: tough to deal with inside the 20. There's Pijon Robinson.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Oh, he didn't get out. Oh, that was really close.
- 16:11Speaker 1: The secondary Cousins is looking at holding quarterbacks to just
- 16:14Speaker 1: 6.3 yards per attempt. Safety Malik Mustafa has looked good.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Cornerback Renardo Green, three INTs, a 55 rating.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Not time to throw.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Middle intercepted again. Renardo Green picked off another.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Niners have allowed a rating north of 90 overall. Cornerbacks
- 16:32Speaker 1: Jack Jones and Diamador Lenore, safety Jair Brown, all with
- 16:36Speaker 1: 100-plus rates against. Primary guy they have to worry about
- 16:39Speaker 1: this week, Mr. Brock Bowers. Scored twice versus the Jets,
- 16:44Speaker 1: 92 yards. Make it 70-plus in all six games he's played.
- 16:48Speaker 8: Now he throws to the end zone and a diving
- 16:51Speaker 8: catch is made.
- 16:52Speaker 2: For a touchdown.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Niners DBs also have to worry about their TE2. I
- 16:57Speaker 1: know that doesn't work as well, doesn't roll off the tongue,
- 16:59Speaker 1: but Michael Mayer with 53 yards a week ago, his
- 17:02Speaker 1: third 50-plus yard game in their last five.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Two most productive tight ends.
- 17:07Speaker 5: That duo has been really good for Kirk Cousins.
- 17:09Speaker 1: And while Ashton Jenty hasn't been able to do much
- 17:12Speaker 1: on handoffs, he's become a regular threat in the passing attack,
- 17:15Speaker 1: 64 yards week eight, so now has hit for 50-plus
- 17:19Speaker 1: receiving yards in four of their last five.
- 17:22Speaker 9: How you let him get this wide open in the
- 17:24Speaker 9: passing game is inexcusable for the defense.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Cousins has only taken three sacks over their last three games,
- 17:30Speaker 1: only one last week. Bosa rejoins a pass rush that
- 17:34Speaker 1: has at least produced 15 sacks in seven games. Keyon
- 17:37Speaker 1: White leads the team with three and a half. Genti
- 17:43Speaker 1: only had two rush attempts versus the Jets. They turn
- 17:47Speaker 1: to Mike Washington. 25 attempts, 83 yards.
- 17:50Speaker 9: Mike Washington is just too fast. That's the speed they
- 17:53Speaker 9: want at that running back position.
- 17:55Speaker 1: You can do the math, though. That's only 3-3 a carry,
- 17:58Speaker 1: so they still are struggling when it comes to efficiency.
- 18:00Speaker 1: It's going to be hard to get their rush attack
- 18:02Speaker 1: going against Fred Warner and company. He has 71 tackles already,
- 18:07Speaker 1: San Francisco holding runners to a meager 3.5 a carry. Now,
- 18:09Speaker 1: if Vegas' offense.
- 18:11Speaker 10: Were to light up the scoreboard, expect another fireworks show
- 18:13Speaker 10: because that defense of theirs does not match up well.
- 18:25Speaker 1: With San Francisco's offense. Brock Purdy has a couple of
- 18:29Speaker 1: weeks to forget about his last outing. Prior to week seven,
- 18:32Speaker 1: it was all BCB ball. Hit his break with 15 touchdowns,
- 18:36Speaker 1: a 110 rating, 250 yards per game, and a fat
- 18:39Speaker 1: 12 yards per completion.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Purdy throws. Touchdown. They just don't even cover. Use check
- 18:46Speaker 2: out of the backfield.
- 18:47Speaker 1: He should have his Fantastic Four back to pass too.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Mr.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Fantastic, Mike Evans, leading the team with 70 yards per game,
- 18:54Speaker 1: three scores.
- 18:55Speaker 5: He wants Evans. He just puts it up.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Give it to Mike. Mike's got it. He pulled it in.
- 19:00Speaker 1: The Thing, George Kittle, leader in receiving touchdowns with 560
- 19:04Speaker 1: yards per game.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Kittle gets a block from Brendel. Kittle is breaking free
- 19:08Speaker 2: into space. George Kittle is racing.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Debo isn't invisible or a woman, but he has three touchdowns,
- 19:14Speaker 1: 41 yards per game, and the Human Torch, CMC, with
- 19:18Speaker 1: 35 receiving yards per game. 55 a game down low,
- 19:22Speaker 1: 4-6 a carry, 8 trips to the zone.
- 19:25Speaker 2: McCaffrey over the top for.
- 19:27Speaker 5: A 49ers touchdown!
- 19:29Speaker 1: Vegas' D throwing bows with one of the best offenses
- 19:32Speaker 1: in football, fewest sacks allowed, no one has faced less
- 19:36Speaker 1: pressure than Purdy, 28 points per game, elite in the
- 19:39Speaker 1: red zone and on third down, and now as healthy
- 19:42Speaker 1: as it's been in weeks.
- 19:44Speaker 2: The fake, Purdy, touchdown! They cash in!
- 19:49Speaker 1: So, we have the fourth highest scoring offense taking on
- 19:52Speaker 1: a defense, 31st in scoring, 28 points per game. Only
- 19:57Speaker 1: Arizona is giving up more. They've allowed 27 plus points
- 20:00Speaker 1: in six straight after giving up 33 points to the
- 20:03Speaker 1: Jets last week. Purdy looking at a secondary, allowing the
- 20:06Speaker 1: third highest rating, over 12 yards per completion, gave up
- 20:11Speaker 1: 290 yards to Geno Smith, two TDs over nine per attempt.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Smith, end zone, Mitchell, touchdown!
- 20:19Speaker 1: Purdy does at least have to worry about a middle-of-the-pack
- 20:22Speaker 1: pass rush, 18 total, two in New York, can never
- 20:26Speaker 1: pass up a chance to see Max do his thing,
- 20:28Speaker 1: Crosby with his third, And salute that man for being
- 20:32Speaker 1: true to the silver and black. As for CMC, oh boy.
- 20:41Speaker 1: He may feel like he's at one of those buffets
- 20:43Speaker 1: on the strip. He takes on the worst rush defense
- 20:46Speaker 1: in all of the land. They're allowing 5.1 yards per carry,
- 20:48Speaker 1: 146 rush yards per game. Braylon Allen went for 7
- 20:51Speaker 1: yards per pop, 147 yards and a TD against them.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Tampa Bay working their way back into the NFC South
- 21:07Speaker 1: race one handoff at a time. If the Cleveland Bulldogs
- 21:10Speaker 1: can win a title without the forward pass, why not us?
- 21:15Speaker 1: They are in Chicago this week for Sunday Night Football.
- 21:23Speaker 1: The Bears with their third straight primetime game. The Iceman
- 21:27Speaker 1: sure seems to like that spotlight, doesn't he?
- 21:30Speaker 2: Odunze inside the 30.
- 21:33Speaker 11: Perfect pass by Caleb Williams for 25.
- 21:36Speaker 1: The hearts of all the Bill Swerskis of Da Bears
- 21:39Speaker 1: Nation want to thank Caleb Williams. All the dramatic comebacks
- 21:43Speaker 1: were great and all, but it sure is nice to
- 21:45Speaker 1: just cruise to the finish line, which is what Chicago
- 21:48Speaker 1: is doing more often these days. They've won three straight,
- 21:51Speaker 1: five of their last six come off a statement win.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Toss to Swift, up the gut, touchdown Chicago. He's got three.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Ewoks took down the dark side, and so did their
- 22:03Speaker 1: earthly cousins. Bears slapped the big, bad Seattle defense with
- 22:07Speaker 1: 34 points. Perfect 4-for-4 in the red zone, 30-plus points
- 22:12Speaker 1: in each game Caleb has started and finished.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Williams keeps, throws, Burton!
- 22:20Speaker 1: Williams, 100-plus rate in four of five games. How about
- 22:24Speaker 1: a 70% completion rate for the season? Second highest in
- 22:28Speaker 1: the NFL. 24 of 34 versus Seattle, over 240 yards,
- 22:30Speaker 1: a TD, no interceptions, 100-plus rate. Firing bullets all night,
- 22:39Speaker 1: four caught by Roma Dunze, who led the team with
- 22:41Speaker 1: 87 yards.
- 22:42Speaker 2: And then Dunze, it's like you're out there with your
- 22:45Speaker 2: friends at the park. Just get open and I'll find you.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Colston Loveland has put up 60-plus yards in three straight,
- 22:52Speaker 1: 65 a week ago.
- 22:54Speaker 12: And he's able to deliver this football where Loveland's able
- 22:56Speaker 12: to make a play.
- 22:58Speaker 5: There it is right there.
- 22:58Speaker 2: With the left knee.
- 22:59Speaker 1: And Luther Burden keeps making big plays for them, 56
- 23:03Speaker 1: yards and a score.
- 23:04Speaker 11: Pass caught by Burden over the middle, and Luther Burden
- 23:07Speaker 11: just continues to pile up yardage.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Caleb goes from one top shelf defense to another. I
- 23:13Speaker 1: know Fire the Cannon's faithful aren't super fans of Todd Bowles,
- 23:17Speaker 1: but the dude does know defense, and that Bucks D
- 23:20Speaker 1: has been quietly one of the toughest in the NFL,
- 23:23Speaker 1: shutting out Atlanta the last time they were on the field,
- 23:25Speaker 1: 0 for 12 on third down. Yes, the monsoon-like weather
- 23:38Speaker 1: played a role, but only two teams have scored 24-plus
- 23:41Speaker 1: points on Tampa Bay. They've held four of their last
- 23:44Speaker 1: five teams under 18. Their holding teams to 18 points
- 23:47Speaker 1: per game makes them fifth best on that front. Caleb,
- 23:51Speaker 1: wrangling with a secondary that picked off Michael Penix four times,
- 23:55Speaker 1: they now sit on the second lowest rate in the game,
- 23:58Speaker 1: holding quarterbacks to 6.1 yards per attempt.
- 24:01Speaker 12: Pass Rush didn't get to Penix once, though.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Lost Yaya Diaby to injury, too. He's out for a bit.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Williams only took one sack on 34 pass attempts versus Seattle,
- 24:20Speaker 1: 13 sacks taken in his five games. On the down low,
- 24:24Speaker 1: Bears still waiting on Kyle Menungai's toe to heal, but
- 24:27Speaker 1: they have Ricky the Wild Thing Vaughn still. DeAndre Swift
- 24:31Speaker 1: only 2.6 a carry versus Seattle, but he closed out
- 24:34Speaker 1: three drives. Leads the NFL in rushing TDs with 10,
- 24:38Speaker 1: has scored in four straight, but not super efficient as
- 24:41Speaker 1: of late, three straight games under 3.6 a carry. 3-6,
- 24:45Speaker 1: what the Bucs are holding runners to for 2026, so
- 24:48Speaker 1: tough to run on as well.
- 24:50Speaker 12: Not far enough, Tampa Bay holds on fourth down.
- 24:53Speaker 1: But if we're talking rush attacks, Tampa's is front and center.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Rain did not stop their two-headed monster in any way, shape,
- 25:02Speaker 1: or form. Bucky Irving, 100-plus yards in three of his
- 25:05Speaker 1: last four, 170 on 6-3 a carry in the mud,
- 25:07Speaker 1: punched one in.
- 25:11Speaker 12: Oh, and there was one of those Bucky Irving jump cuts,
- 25:14Speaker 12: and there's a lot of room to run.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Because of it.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Kenny Gainwell, 88-plus yards back-to-back games, 140 in the slop
- 25:21Speaker 1: on 5-6 a pop.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Made a man miss, made another miss.
- 25:25Speaker 12: Kenny Gainwell stays on his feet again, all the way
- 25:29Speaker 12: across the field and down to the six-yard line.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Those performances, of course, impressive enough in those conditions, but
- 25:35Speaker 1: what really makes them stand out is this.
- 25:39Speaker 7: And it's dropped by Kenny Gainwell. He looks it all
- 25:42Speaker 7: the way in, just a little bit of a short
- 25:44Speaker 7: arm and off the fingertips.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Is that a stat line or what? Atlanta knew the
- 25:49Speaker 1: Bucks weren't throwing and still couldn't stop the run. They
- 25:52Speaker 1: were like the goalie in that old Nike commercial versus
- 25:54Speaker 1: Sergey Fedorov. Irving to the right, couldn't stop him. Gainwell
- 25:58Speaker 1: to the left, couldn't stop him. Bucky, glove hand, couldn't
- 26:01Speaker 1: stop him.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Kenny, five hole.
- 26:03Speaker 1: You get it.
- 26:04Speaker 12: A lot of Bucky Irving early in this game, but
- 26:07Speaker 12: the fourth quarter has tilted in Gainwell's direction and he
- 26:11Speaker 12: is playing well.
- 26:12Speaker 1: They've won back-to-back games, throwing the ball a total of
- 26:15Speaker 1: 14 times. Last week was just the second time a
- 26:19Speaker 1: team has won a game in the Super Bowl era
- 26:22Speaker 1: with zero passing yards. Tampa's backs the only fuel needed
- 26:26Speaker 1: for the Bucks to scratch out their 16 points. Their
- 26:29Speaker 1: offense hasn't been high scoring most games anyway. 24 plus
- 26:33Speaker 1: three times, under 20, five times. They'd love to get
- 26:36Speaker 1: Emeka Ibuka back for this game. He missed last week
- 26:40Speaker 1: with a foot injury, likely will need to pass more
- 26:42Speaker 1: versus Chicago, whose defense is loving their new addition. No Bobby, Robbie, Ricky,
- 26:48Speaker 1: or Mikes, but that Jeffrey dude's debut couldn't have gone better.
- 26:52Speaker 11: And the four-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle is right in
- 26:56Speaker 11: on Darnold and brings him down.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Welcome to the Bears.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Simmons, six tackles, one sack, two TFLs, and a pass defensed.
- 27:05Speaker 1: He made Montez Sweat look like a problem again, also
- 27:09Speaker 1: had a sack, had two others wiped out due to flags.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Chicago held Seattle to 17 points in their house, one
- 27:16Speaker 1: for 11 on third down, one for four in the
- 27:18Speaker 1: red zone, now holding teams to 20 a game.
- 27:21Speaker 11: This one's batted into the air by Jeffrey Simmons.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Bears pass defense has been shaky at times this year.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Simmons present is supposed to help. More they can pressure
- 27:32Speaker 1: the quarterback, easier it is on their DBs. Aside from
- 27:35Speaker 1: their play versus JSN, that proved true last week as
- 27:39Speaker 1: they held Sam Darnold to just 188 yards, just 5.5
- 27:41Speaker 1: yards per attempt, picked him off. A team with a
- 27:43Speaker 1: 98 rate overall comes off a 74 rating outing.
- 27:50Speaker 11: They bail out, the Bears do, and now Darnold has
- 27:53Speaker 11: the pass, batted.
- 27:55Speaker 2: And picked off. Intercepted by James Lynch down to the five.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Simmons also supposed to help with guys like Gainwell and Irving,
- 28:03Speaker 1: Chicago allowing four for a carry down low, but held
- 28:06Speaker 1: both Seattle's backs under four. Bears still need to clean
- 28:10Speaker 1: up their laundry problem, took 10 more flags last week,
- 28:13Speaker 1: that's nine plus in three straight games. New York Jets
- 28:18Speaker 1: head west this week on a three-game losing streak, losers
- 28:22Speaker 1: of six of their last seven, and I'm not going
- 28:24Speaker 1: to say it, even Beavis and Butthead wouldn't laugh at it.
- 28:28Speaker 8: Into the end zone with the interception and the exclamation point.
- 28:32Speaker 1: They are in Kansas City. Chiefs ahead twitch away from
- 28:36Speaker 1: a dramatic comeback win last week, instead on a two-game
- 28:40Speaker 1: losing streak.
- 28:41Speaker 2: All on the line.
- 28:42Speaker 5: Mahomes stepping up in trouble. Doesn't have a chance.
- 28:47Speaker 1: 11 flags. The last one reversing what could have been
- 28:50Speaker 1: a Patrick Mahomes fourth touchdown of the game. Instead of
- 28:53Speaker 1: 31 points, they finished with 24. Just six for 14
- 28:57Speaker 1: on third down, Harrison Butker missed another field goal that
- 29:01Speaker 1: made it easier for Denver to score their game winner.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Kenneth Walker has now gone back-to-back games under 3-5 a
- 29:07Speaker 1: carry after starting the year looking unstoppable.
- 29:11Speaker 13: They do run it with Walker. Walker looking for something.
- 29:14Speaker 13: Nothing is there.
- 29:15Speaker 5: He is stuffed.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Mahomes looked good enough versus Denver after struggling his previous
- 29:20Speaker 1: two games. Three touchdowns, no interceptions, over 320 yards at
- 29:25Speaker 1: 110-plus rate. The trade watch is on. Will they supply
- 29:29Speaker 1: him with a new wide receiver?
- 29:31Speaker 5: Here's the first and goal, little toss, fighting for the
- 29:34Speaker 5: end zone, and across he goes.
- 29:36Speaker 1: This week, Mahomes takes on a Jets secondary that has
- 29:39Speaker 1: not played themselves. pass well, just gave up 247 yards
- 29:42Speaker 1: and three touchdowns to Kirk Cousins for a 140-plus rate,
- 29:46Speaker 1: have allowed 14 touchdowns now with only one pick, rate
- 29:50Speaker 1: over 100 for the year, safety Minka Fitzpatrick's response, that's
- 29:55Speaker 1: the Jets being Jets. Casey's offense in the ring with
- 30:03Speaker 1: a New York defense that gave up 31 points in
- 30:06Speaker 1: their loss to Vegas. 26-plus points allowed in three straight games.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Aaron Glenn, the Bobs have a question for you. You're
- 30:14Speaker 1: supposed to be a defensive guy, but what exactly is
- 30:17Speaker 1: it you do here? let the Raiders convert seven of
- 30:20Speaker 1: 11 third downs and all four of their red zone trips.
- 30:24Speaker 8: Cousins looking end zone, throws underneath, and it's taken into
- 30:28Speaker 8: the end zone.
- 30:29Speaker 1: The New York pass rush Mahomes is dealing with does
- 30:32Speaker 1: have 20 sacks, which is a solid total, but only
- 30:35Speaker 1: got to Cousins once on 26 pass attempts. Their secondary
- 30:39Speaker 1: struggled with the tight end position last week. Brock Bowers,
- 30:42Speaker 1: who scored twice on them, 92 yards. Michael Mayer, 53 yards.
- 30:47Speaker 1: And a running back, Ashton Gentee, who they gave up
- 30:49Speaker 1: 64 yards to. That's relevant because Mahomes used running back
- 30:54Speaker 1: Emmitt Johnson. for 128 yards and a touchdown last week.
- 30:58Speaker 2: One.
- 30:59Speaker 5: Can he cut back? He stumbles on the cut.
- 31:01Speaker 2: Still finds his way to the end zone.
- 31:03Speaker 1: And Travis Kelsey went for 67 yards.
- 31:06Speaker 5: Mahomes fires it.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Got it.
- 31:08Speaker 5: It's Kelsey.
- 31:09Speaker 14: Who else?
- 31:09Speaker 5: And Travis makes the big play.
- 31:11Speaker 1: And they did get Rasheed Rice back. He chipped in
- 31:14Speaker 1: 53 yards.
- 31:15Speaker 13: Patrick hasn't had a touchdown pass in two weeks, but
- 31:17Speaker 13: he does now.
- 31:19Speaker 2: It's Rasheed Rice.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Maybe one of New York's wideouts could stay behind after
- 31:23Speaker 1: the game. How would Adonai Mitchell look in red? He
- 31:26Speaker 1: enters off a season-best 142 yards. He scored. He's played
- 31:31Speaker 1: four games this year, 60-plus in three of four.
- 31:34Speaker 9: Just watch the move that Adonai Mitchell puts on Eric Stokes.
- 31:38Speaker 5: He's got his work cut out for him today.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Or Garrett Wilson, probably harder to attain, but he had
- 31:43Speaker 1: 83 yards last week.
- 31:45Speaker 8: That's just made by Garrett Wilson. Caught only two last week.
- 31:49Speaker 8: That has been a major story.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Wilson and Mitchell. 225 of Geno Smith's 290 yards week eight,
- 31:56Speaker 1: a 99 rating, two touchdowns, one pick, 250 plus yards,
- 32:01Speaker 1: three straight games. Vikings, what do you think? Upgrade, right?
- 32:04Speaker 8: Smith fires 48 yards from Smith to Mitchell.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Jets offense, 33 points versus the Black Hole. That's supposed
- 32:12Speaker 1: to be enough to win a game. They've put up
- 32:15Speaker 1: 25-plus in each of their last two.
- 32:17Speaker 5: In the red zone once again.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Smith fires. End zone.
- 32:21Speaker 5: Caught.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Jason Sanders with four field goals, though. New York only
- 32:25Speaker 1: went two for six in the red zone. That's a
- 32:27Speaker 1: lot of points left on the cutting room floor. Kansas
- 32:30Speaker 1: City's defense has been tough this year. Points per game,
- 32:34Speaker 1: pass defense numbers are strong. But they did give up
- 32:36Speaker 1: 28 points to Denver. 15 in the fourth quarter, so
- 32:40Speaker 1: they don't come in with swagger. It's Coleman.
- 32:43Speaker 5: Just had the big play. Up he goes.
- 32:45Speaker 2: He's in for the lead.
- 32:47Speaker 1: They did hold Denver to two for 11 on third down,
- 32:50Speaker 1: but let them convert all three red zone chances, two
- 32:52Speaker 1: of them on fourth down on basically the same kind
- 32:55Speaker 1: of play. Both TD passes by Bo Nix. Geno just
- 32:59Speaker 1: needs to fake a handoff to the left and roll right.
- 33:01Speaker 1: Smith taking on a secondary that gave up a 100-plus
- 33:04Speaker 1: rate to Nix without picking him off. He had been struggling, too.
- 33:08Speaker 13: Good for 24. It's been a quiet start to the year.
- 33:11Speaker 13: That's an awakening right there.
- 33:13Speaker 1: KC should also be putting out calls for a pass rusher.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Only one sack on 32 pass attempts. Only have nine
- 33:20Speaker 1: over seven games. No team has fewer. Geno took two
- 33:23Speaker 1: on 32 pass attempts versus Vegas. It's in the meh range.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Last key puzzle piece, how KC plays Braylon Allen. Man,
- 33:31Speaker 1: is he on a bender? KC's front, though, is one
- 33:33Speaker 1: of the toughest to run on. Held Denver to 3.3
- 33:35Speaker 1: per attempt. bringing their season average down to 3-5.
- 33:59Speaker 15: Midair, Gilman just puts a lick on them and keeps
- 34:03Speaker 15: them short.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Washington at home this week after snapping a three-game winless streak,
- 34:08Speaker 1: first Jaden Daniels' victory in 13 months. He's got it
- 34:13Speaker 1: inside for two.
- 34:14Speaker 2: And it makes it a 17-point game.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Keeping the train on the tracks, though, won't be easy.
- 34:19Speaker 1: The LA Rams are in town, who may finally get
- 34:22Speaker 1: to see what their dream defensive pairing would look like,
- 34:25Speaker 1: and even with just half of it, they have not
- 34:27Speaker 1: been an easy team to score on lately.
- 34:30Speaker 2: And it is taken down by McCulkey.
- 34:34Speaker 5: He is going to be rolled short.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Only one team has scored more than 21 points versus L.A.
- 34:38Speaker 1: in their last five games. They held the Chargers to
- 34:41Speaker 1: zero touchdowns last week, just three field goals. Daniels faces
- 34:46Speaker 1: a secondary that has been tough on just about every
- 34:49Speaker 1: quarterback they've faced, picked off Justin Herbert twice.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Herbert looking in.
- 34:53Speaker 5: That direction, and it is picked off.
- 34:55Speaker 2: By Clinton Lake.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Two key cornerbacks left last week's game hurt, though. Trent
- 35:00Speaker 1: McDuffie hurt his back. Jalen Watson hurt his shoulder.
- 35:04Speaker 6: L.A.
- 35:04Speaker 1: 's pass rush only has 12 sacks over eight games,
- 35:08Speaker 1: added two more to their total last week, 32 pass attempts.
- 35:11Speaker 1: But Daniels may be the first one to see what
- 35:14Speaker 1: it's like to have A.D. and Miles Garrett chasing you
- 35:17Speaker 1: around if Miles is ready to jump off the bike
- 35:20Speaker 1: and onto the field this week. Daniels took two sacks
- 35:23Speaker 1: on 29 pass attempts versus Philadelphia. has been dropped two-plus
- 35:27Speaker 1: times in each of his last three games. Jaden comes
- 35:34Speaker 1: off a clean game, though, not necessarily spectacular. Only completed
- 35:38Speaker 1: 16 of his 29 passes, but connected on a few
- 35:41Speaker 1: long ones. 217 yards, one touchdown without throwing a pick.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Diggs caught that touchdown, 38 yards versus the Eagles. Antonio
- 35:55Speaker 1: Williams caught a 30-yard pass as part of a 54-yard night.
- 35:59Speaker 16: Daniels wafting downfield and the looking Williams holds off.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Traylon Burks led the team with 83 yards on the
- 36:06Speaker 1: back of a 53-yard reception.
- 36:08Speaker 17: Looking deep, downfield, breaking open Burks, flag down, he's got it!
- 36:14Speaker 2: Inside the 10 to the 6-yard line!
- 36:16Speaker 1: Commanders employed a committee approach, down low versus Philadelphia. It
- 36:20Speaker 1: worked well enough. Daniels ran for 23 yards, Jeremy McNichols, 21,
- 36:24Speaker 1: Austin Eckler, 36, and Rashad White, 55. Each guy hitting
- 36:30Speaker 1: at 4-2 a carry or better racked up 135 rush
- 36:34Speaker 1: yards on 5-2 a pop when it was all said
- 36:36Speaker 1: and done.
- 36:37Speaker 12: And Rashawn White looking to have the finishing exclamation point
- 36:42Speaker 12: goes down to the three.
- 36:43Speaker 6: L.A.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Was tough on their SoCal counterparts, holding them to 2-6
- 36:46Speaker 1: per attempt, brought their season average down to 4 a carry.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Big picture, L.A. 's defense squabbling up with what has
- 36:53Speaker 1: been an inconsistent Washington offense. They put up 22 and
- 36:57Speaker 1: 20 points weeks one and two. then 26, then 13,
- 37:01Speaker 1: then 27, then 17, then 27 last week. They have
- 37:10Speaker 1: a 22-point-per-game offense and a 26-point-per-game D that's terrible on
- 37:15Speaker 1: third down and in the red zone, which helps explain
- 37:18Speaker 1: their 2-4-1 record. But they do come off a good
- 37:21Speaker 1: defensive outing, held Philadelphia's Tanner McKee offense to 10 points,
- 37:25Speaker 1: No passing touchdowns allowed to him. Picked him off. Held
- 37:29Speaker 1: the Eagles to 3.9 yards per play.
- 37:37Speaker 2: The L.A.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Offense they wrestle with this week has usually been good
- 37:41Speaker 1: enough for 24 or more points. Put up 24 versus
- 37:44Speaker 1: the Chargers. Have scored at least that many in six
- 37:47Speaker 1: of their last seven games.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Was a clunky 24 last week. Three for 11 on
- 37:51Speaker 2: third down.
- 37:55Speaker 1: And Matthew Stafford only generated 157 yards through the air
- 37:59Speaker 1: he threw a pick.
- 38:00Speaker 10: Stafford floats in and a dangerous pass right to Tarheap still.
- 38:06Speaker 1: Stafford hasn't thrown for 200 yards in back-to-back games, and
- 38:09Speaker 1: it's not a sack problem, only one taken in each
- 38:12Speaker 1: of their last two. The Washington pass rush he faces
- 38:15Speaker 1: next fired it up to the tune of five sacks
- 38:18Speaker 1: versus Philadelphia. Only 16 for the season after that, but
- 38:22Speaker 1: Odafe Owe picked up his fourth of the year. Caleb
- 38:25Speaker 1: on Chason got one. He has three and a half now.
- 38:28Speaker 2: They held Saquon Barkley to 2.3 a carry.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Elijah Mitchell to 3.1. And while they haven't played the
- 38:39Speaker 1: pass as well as they played McKee, haven't rushed the
- 38:42Speaker 1: quarterback as well as they did last week, they have
- 38:44Speaker 1: been tough to run on most games as they're now
- 38:47Speaker 1: holding rush attacks to 3.9 a carry.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Barkley left.
- 38:53Speaker 5: L.A.
- 38:53Speaker 1: 's run game has carried them the last two weeks.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Kyron Williams wasn't super efficient week eight, but 56 yards
- 39:00Speaker 1: and a touchdown. He has scored in four of their
- 39:02Speaker 1: last five now.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Three tight ends.
- 39:05Speaker 6: Run play.
- 39:05Speaker 2: It's Williams.
- 39:06Speaker 12: It's a cut.
- 39:07Speaker 2: It's a touchdown.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Blake Corum with 70-plus yards. Back-to-back games. 4.7 per attempt
- 39:13Speaker 1: or better in his last three. Scores in three of
- 39:16Speaker 1: his last four. Touchdown, 73 yards, 6-6 per handoff versus
- 39:21Speaker 1: the Chargers.
- 39:22Speaker 2: To what has been successful early.
- 39:24Speaker 12: What a move by Toro.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Kuka Nakua, the other consistent playmaker for their offense lately.
- 39:29Speaker 1: He has gone for at least 68 yards in all
- 39:32Speaker 1: six of his games, 80 yards last week and a
- 39:34Speaker 1: trip to the zone.
- 39:36Speaker 10: Now it's Nakur on the screen, poking Nakur to the
- 39:39Speaker 10: end zone, touchdown.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Tutu Atwell did chip in 52 yards, got away for
- 39:44Speaker 1: a 40-yard reception.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Looking for Tutu Atwell.
- 39:46Speaker 10: This is what they were hoping to find, a deep ball.
- 39:50Speaker 2: To the speedster Tutu.
- 39:51Speaker 1: Man, they cannot get the kicking game right, though. Two
- 39:54Speaker 1: illegal short kickoffs from Joshua Cardy. Washington with nine flags
- 39:58Speaker 1: in their win, so both teams have plenty to clean
- 40:01Speaker 1: up on the side. Texans head west after a week
- 40:05Speaker 1: off 10 games to play. Can maybe afford one more
- 40:08Speaker 1: loss and still make the playoffs, but their opponent this
- 40:11Speaker 1: week is a must-beat, so this is a do-or-die situation.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Stewart coming in on it. They're bringing the house, and
- 40:18Speaker 2: McCarthy goes down.
- 40:19Speaker 1: They take on the L.A. Chargers, the only team in
- 40:22Speaker 1: the NFL that hasn't won a game.
- 40:25Speaker 5: Henry down a.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Score, but it's thrown away, and it's Trent McDuffie who
- 40:30Speaker 2: gets Herbert again.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Do I need to elaborate or is that enough? Houston
- 40:34Speaker 1: takes on an L.A. offense that hasn't rushed for 75
- 40:37Speaker 1: yards in their last two games, 64 yards versus the
- 40:41Speaker 1: Rams on 2-6 a carry. Justin Herbert leads the NFL
- 40:44Speaker 1: in INTs with 10, two more last week. At least
- 40:48Speaker 1: one in every game, he's taken at least two sacks
- 40:51Speaker 1: in every game, two more a week ago. Offense hasn't
- 41:01Speaker 1: even scored 10 points two games in a row, nine
- 41:05Speaker 1: versus the other L.A. team, under 18 points in six
- 41:08Speaker 1: of seven games now.
- 41:10Speaker 10: And it is picked up by Clinton Lake.
- 41:14Speaker 1: To be fair, Herbert still might be coming off his
- 41:17Speaker 1: best game. 24 of 32 for 257 yards. Ladd McConkie
- 41:22Speaker 1: with 86, 54, coming on a Hail Mary try. He
- 41:26Speaker 1: caught it, but even that didn't work.
- 41:28Speaker 6: And it is taken down by McConkie.
- 41:32Speaker 16: L.A.
- 41:32Speaker 1: 's offense not up against the defense we thought they were,
- 41:35Speaker 1: as Dennis Green might have put it. They're giving up
- 41:38Speaker 1: 24 points a game this year, are mid on third down,
- 41:42Speaker 1: and worse in the red zone.
- 41:43Speaker 13: Five defensive line now tells me they're tired of the
- 41:48Speaker 13: Giants getting five, six.
- 41:50Speaker 5: Yards a run.
- 41:51Speaker 1: And it's the secondary that Herbert faces that's seen the
- 41:54Speaker 1: big drop off. Over 240 passing yards per game allowed,
- 41:58Speaker 1: a mid-90s rate. Cornerback Kamari Lassiter, the big culprit, allowing
- 42:04Speaker 1: 424 yards per No other DB in the game had
- 42:08Speaker 1: allowed more after seven weeks.
- 42:11Speaker 2: He's going to take a deep shot.
- 42:13Speaker 10: He's got some separation and he's got Malik neighbors.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Herbert still has to worry about Will Anderson and company.
- 42:19Speaker 1: They do have 21 sacks. Daniil Hunter with four. Anderson,
- 42:23Speaker 1: the sack leader after seven weeks with seven and a half.
- 42:26Speaker 17: Texans coming with four and they're going to get to
- 42:29Speaker 17: Ward again.
- 42:30Speaker 5: It's Anderson.
- 42:31Speaker 1: And Houston is still making life rough on ball carriers,
- 42:35Speaker 1: holding them to 3.8 a carry. So it's that pass
- 42:38Speaker 1: defense that's let them down.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Into the arms of Daniil Hunter. One yard short of
- 42:43Speaker 2: a first down.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Even in defeat, Chargers defense still looked respectable last week.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Kind of been the theme all year. Held the Rams
- 42:51Speaker 1: to 24 points. They held Matthew Stafford to 157 yards
- 42:55Speaker 1: and a low 80s rate. Picked him off.
- 42:57Speaker 10: Stafford floats in and a dangerous pass right to Tarheap Still.
- 43:03Speaker 1: For all intents and purposes, C.J. Stroud hit the post-bye
- 43:06Speaker 1: part of his year in a good spot, only one INT,
- 43:11Speaker 1: a 100-plus rating, while throwing for more than 265 yards
- 43:15Speaker 1: per game.
- 43:16Speaker 8: Stroud steps up, and now he throws to the end zone, touchdown!
- 43:22Speaker 1: The Texans' offense, the L.A. 's defense, rustles with. By
- 43:26Speaker 1: no means perfect, middle of the pack in the red zone,
- 43:29Speaker 1: not good on third down, but they have at least
- 43:31Speaker 1: mustered 23 points per game, which was supposed to be
- 43:34Speaker 1: good enough to win games with the defense they thought
- 43:37Speaker 1: they had.
- 43:38Speaker 12: Off the plate fake, they throw to the back of
- 43:41Speaker 12: the X, and it cuts!
- 43:42Speaker 2: Falling straight to the right!
- 43:43Speaker 1: Stroud has five options to throw to for the most part.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Recently acquired Marvin Harrison, Keyshawn Booty, a 27-yard-per-game guy so far,
- 43:53Speaker 1: Xavier Hutchinson, 37 a game, Tank Dell went for 43
- 43:57Speaker 1: yards in his first game back from injury, Dalton Schultz,
- 44:00Speaker 1: 46 per game. Jalen Knoll, 47, Nico Collins, the only
- 44:05Speaker 1: guy with more than 50 at 65 per game, three TDs.
- 44:09Speaker 16: From the 15-yard line, wide open, first down and much more,
- 44:14Speaker 16: Nico Collins!
- 44:15Speaker 12: L.A.
- 44:15Speaker 1: 's pass rush after a dude who's been sacked 15 times,
- 44:19Speaker 1: so average. Right tackle Trenton Brown, left tackle Ariante Ursary,
- 44:24Speaker 1: guard Keelan Rutledge, three sacks allowed each.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Here they come, got away from Howell.
- 44:30Speaker 15: Blocked down!
- 44:32Speaker 1: Carolina Panthers back for some home cooking. All that cheese
- 44:35Speaker 1: last week didn't sit well, sent them to their second
- 44:38Speaker 1: straight loss, which has them sitting a game under 500.
- 44:41Speaker 7: He theoretically has time, but with all the pressure he's
- 44:45Speaker 7: been under, he got uncomfortable.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Couldn't make it on fourth down.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Still right there in the NFC South, though. Hey, Glass
- 44:51Speaker 1: Joe and Wiley Coyote would still be alive in that race, right?
- 44:55Speaker 1: Won't be easy to get back to. 500, not with
- 44:57Speaker 1: an ever-improving Denver Broncos rolling into town on a four-game
- 45:01Speaker 1: win streak.
- 45:02Speaker 2: This is incredible.
- 45:03Speaker 5: You can't script it any better. This is awesome.
- 45:06Speaker 2: All on the line.
- 45:07Speaker 5: Mahomes stepping up in trouble. Doesn't have a chance.
- 45:11Speaker 12: Quarterback is down by contact prior to pass.
- 45:13Speaker 3: The game's over.
- 45:15Speaker 1: What a way to keep the streak alive. Make it
- 45:18Speaker 1: five and they're following Frank the Tank to the quad.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Defense came up clutch in the end. Bo Nix took
- 45:23Speaker 1: care of business on two fourth downs at the goal line.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Comes off his first 100 plus rate game. No INTs
- 45:30Speaker 1: for the fifth game in a row. First two TD
- 45:32Speaker 1: games since week three.
- 45:34Speaker 13: And now here you go. Fourth and goal. And throw
- 45:36Speaker 13: it wide open. Wide open and caught for the touchdown.
- 45:40Speaker 1: How about exactly 222 yards back-to-back weeks? and 28-plus points
- 45:45Speaker 1: back-to-back games from that offense, 28 versus Kansas City by
- 45:49Speaker 1: converting all three of their red zone trips.
- 45:51Speaker 5: It's Coleman. Just had the big play. Up he goes.
- 45:54Speaker 2: He's in for the lead.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Only two for 11 on third down, so still have
- 45:59Speaker 1: some things to clean up, but Nix, with his sixth
- 46:02Speaker 1: game without being sacked more than once, Jalen, 39 yards
- 46:05Speaker 1: and waddled in the end zone once, Cortland Sutton, 53 yards.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Pass, close.
- 46:11Speaker 5: What a catch.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Sutton.
- 46:14Speaker 5: Had to grab it twice.
- 46:15Speaker 1: And it looks like it's going to be the Jonah
- 46:17Speaker 1: Coleman show in the backfield going forward. You know, unless
- 46:20Speaker 1: they happen to land a certain superstar. But Coleman, with
- 46:23Speaker 1: 41 rush yards week eight, led the team with 63
- 46:26Speaker 1: receiving yards.
- 46:28Speaker 5: As Nix dumps it off to.
- 46:29Speaker 13: Coleman, who cuts and goes and goes and goes down
- 46:35Speaker 13: to the four-yard line.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Panthers hitting week nine with a new defensive coordinator, not
- 46:41Speaker 1: being able to get to Jordan Love for a sack
- 46:43Speaker 1: on 41 pass attempts, not stopping Green Bay in the
- 46:46Speaker 1: red zone on any of their three red zone trips,
- 46:49Speaker 1: allowing three touchdowns to Love, 27 points, which is their
- 46:53Speaker 1: season average, enough to warrant change.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Throws, caught, then just like that into the end zone.
- 47:00Speaker 1: Knicks and company face a secondary that gave up 288
- 47:03Speaker 1: yards to Love along with those three touchdowns. It's a defense,
- 47:07Speaker 1: already without three defensive back starters, lost another one too
- 47:11Speaker 1: last week, gave up 53 yards and a touchdown to
- 47:14Speaker 1: Tucker Kraft, 79 yards and a TD to Matthew Golden,
- 47:18Speaker 1: and 113 yards to Christian Watson.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Of throws, reaching up, making the catch.
- 47:24Speaker 1: Despite all the injuries, Carolina has played the pass well
- 47:28Speaker 1: most games. They picked Love off. and the defense pulled
- 47:31Speaker 1: three takeaways. And their league worst rush defense heading into
- 47:36Speaker 1: that game, based on the numbers keep pounding, was able
- 47:39Speaker 1: to hold the league's worst rush offense to 66 yards
- 47:42Speaker 1: and just 2.5 per carry.
- 47:44Speaker 5: Nope.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Stuff.
- 47:46Speaker 1: The Carolina offense that Denver draws this week has not
- 47:50Speaker 1: looked good back-to-back weeks, failing to score even 20 points
- 47:53Speaker 1: the last two games, five for 18 on third down
- 47:56Speaker 1: versus Green Bay, and a lowly 3.7 yards per play.
- 48:00Speaker 1: I mean, anything in the fours is ugly, so last
- 48:03Speaker 1: week was Wren Hoke ugly.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Look out, batted. Svanez coming in, put the pressure on,
- 48:09Speaker 2: bats it away.
- 48:10Speaker 1: At the heart of their struggles, keeping Bryce Young upright,
- 48:13Speaker 1: and that's problematic when facing Denver's pass rush. Young took
- 48:17Speaker 1: five sacks versus Tampa Bay Week 7, then six last week.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Six different linemen assigned blame for one each versus the Packers.
- 48:26Speaker 2: Third and nine, pressure, sack. Boy, they came from every angle.
- 48:31Speaker 1: That made it tough for Bryce to produce much, got
- 48:33Speaker 1: picked off only 209 yards. He's had interceptions two games
- 48:37Speaker 1: in a row, sub-70 rate games, back-to-back weeks.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Spat it in the air and taken out of the
- 48:44Speaker 2: air by Harper.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Having a sack problem is problematic when facing Denver. They
- 48:49Speaker 1: may have only planted Patrick Mahomes twice in their win,
- 48:51Speaker 1: but they hit him 10 times, too. They are top
- 48:54Speaker 1: five in bags in 2026.
- 48:56Speaker 15: Just watch the amount of Broncos that get out to
- 49:00Speaker 15: the edge here to put the heat on.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Their secondary, which is formidable in the big picture, did
- 49:05Speaker 1: give up over 320 yards to Mahomes, three touchdowns, a
- 49:09Speaker 1: false start away from a fourth. a 120-plus rate allowed.
- 49:12Speaker 5: Dan Johnson has it, and he's got one player to beat. One,
- 49:17Speaker 5: can he cut back?
- 49:18Speaker 1: Now, they gave up 67 yards to Travis Kelsey, 32
- 49:21Speaker 1: yards on a play where the defender slipped. They allowed
- 49:24Speaker 1: 128 yards to running back Emmitt Johnson, so it was
- 49:28Speaker 1: their linebackers who gave up most of the yards. Carolina's
- 49:31Speaker 1: passing attack is built on wideouts. Jalen Coker scored only
- 49:35Speaker 1: 36 yards, fewer than 40 back-to-back outings, only guy to
- 49:39Speaker 1: top 50 receiving yards versus Green Bay, Tedaroa McMillan. 58 yards,
- 49:44Speaker 1: but hasn't cracked 60 the last two.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Quick flip here. That's a first down. He goes to McMillan.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Chuba Hubbard, the most productive Panther week eight, seven catches,
- 49:54Speaker 1: 38 receiving yards, 81 rush yards, and a score, had
- 49:59Speaker 1: to grind only 3.7 yards per carry.
- 50:01Speaker 2: Hubbard. Breaks through, big gain, first down and a lot
- 50:05Speaker 2: more run out of bounds.
- 50:07Speaker 1: Denver's rush defense hasn't always been locked in, but they
- 50:10Speaker 1: were last week. Avenged the game Kenneth Walker had week
- 50:13Speaker 1: one against them, held him to 3-3 a carry in
- 50:16Speaker 1: last week's win.
- 50:17Speaker 5: Looking for something, nothing is there.
- 50:19Speaker 13: He is stuffed, and they take the timeout with four seconds.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Hopefully there's no rain in Spain this week, if you're
- 50:28Speaker 1: Atlanta anyway. Falcons go from taking out a team with
- 50:31Speaker 1: zero losses to putting up a zero on the scoreboard
- 50:35Speaker 1: the very next week.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Play fake, throw, and it's intercepted. Watch him just drop
- 50:39Speaker 2: into the throwing lane.
- 50:40Speaker 5: Michael Penix doesn't see him.
- 50:42Speaker 1: Offensive waistline can't afford another donut this week if they
- 50:45Speaker 1: want to keep up. Cincinnati Bengals, their foe, their offense
- 50:49Speaker 1: had no issues putting up points last week. Dirty Birds
- 50:52Speaker 1: D trying to slow an O that's popped for 30-plus
- 50:56Speaker 1: points three straight games.
- 50:58Speaker 12: He's got some daylight into the end zone. Six touchdown
- 51:01Speaker 12: of the day for Joe Burrow.
- 51:03Speaker 1: Cincinnati had to overcome four turnovers last week, still went
- 51:08Speaker 1: for 43 points. 7-for-10 on third down, 5-for-6 in the
- 51:12Speaker 1: red zone. Bengals now with a shiny 29-point-per-game average for
- 51:16Speaker 1: the year. Joe Burrow, as the kids call him, comes
- 51:20Speaker 1: off a 3-INT game, but also comes off a 6-TD game.
- 51:24Speaker 1: That OT run, plus five through the air... 460 plus yards,
- 51:29Speaker 1: a 115 rating, 5 straight games, completing 70 plus percent
- 51:33Speaker 1: of his passes, 100 plus rate in 5 of his
- 51:36Speaker 1: last 6 now, 4 plus TDs in 3 straight, he
- 51:40Speaker 1: is rolling.
- 51:42Speaker 12: Here's Burrow, inside the red zone, lofts it to Higgins,
- 51:45Speaker 12: he's got it!
- 51:46Speaker 2: Touchdown!
- 51:47Speaker 1: Here's the thing though, he faces a secondary that just
- 51:50Speaker 1: held a team to zero passing yards.
- 51:53Speaker 12: First pass, Mayfield looking, end zone, to the back, shoulder
- 51:58Speaker 12: and incomplete.
- 51:59Speaker 1: That is a graphic you may never see again in
- 52:01Speaker 1: your lifetime. Atlanta, only the second team in the Super
- 52:04Speaker 1: Bowl era to lose a game while allowing zero passes
- 52:08Speaker 1: to be completed. They only faced three Baker Mayfield passes
- 52:12Speaker 1: in that slop fest, but they played Brock Purdy well
- 52:14Speaker 1: the week before when they beat San Francisco. They held
- 52:17Speaker 1: Tampa Bay to 16 points, so that's back-to-back games, holding
- 52:21Speaker 1: it down under 21 points. Season average now down to
- 52:25Speaker 1: 23 a game.
- 52:25Speaker 12: Flips it back to Bucky Irving, and he lost the
- 52:29Speaker 12: ball right at the goal line!
- 52:31Speaker 1: Holding the Bengals to fewer than 21 points would mean
- 52:33Speaker 1: shutting down Tee Higgins, Jamar Chase, and Mr. Touchdown Mike Gesicki.
- 52:38Speaker 1: He's looking to make it six in a row after
- 52:41Speaker 1: scoring in his fifth straight, has six touchdowns in seven games.
- 52:45Speaker 12: Fifth straight game for Gasicki. It's the longest streak ever
- 52:49Speaker 12: by a Bengals tight end.
- 52:51Speaker 1: The record? Gronk. Seven in a row, by the way.
- 52:54Speaker 1: Jamar has scored in three straight and is coming off
- 52:56Speaker 1: his first 100-plus yard game, 141 versus Tennessee.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Trouble.
- 53:01Speaker 12: Hurdles over a defender. Throws toward the end zone for
- 53:04Speaker 12: Jamar Chase.
- 53:04Speaker 2: He's got it!
- 53:06Speaker 1: And Higgins, 148-plus yards in three of his last four,
- 53:10Speaker 1: after slapping down a season-high 155 versus Tennessee, scored twice.
- 53:15Speaker 12: Blitz from Tennessee, Burrow throws to the right, Higgins got it!
- 53:19Speaker 2: Touchdown!
- 53:19Speaker 1: Burrow did take three sacks a week ago, 48 pass attempts,
- 53:23Speaker 1: so not a bad sack rate per se, but left
- 53:26Speaker 1: tackle Orlando Brown gave up all three per NextGenStats.
- 53:30Speaker 12: Burrow looking to throw. Burrow's under pressure. Burrow's going to
- 53:32Speaker 12: be thrown down.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Atlanta got to Baker once on his three throws, so
- 53:37Speaker 1: not bad, really. But that rush defense of theirs, it
- 53:40Speaker 1: became pretty clear the Bucs were going to do nothing
- 53:42Speaker 1: but run, and Atlanta couldn't stop them. 140 yards allowed
- 53:45Speaker 1: to Kenny Gainwell on 5-6 a carry. 170 yards allowed
- 53:47Speaker 1: to Bucky Irving on 6-3 a try. 324 rush yards
- 53:56Speaker 1: allowed when the game was over. Now they get Chase Brown,
- 54:04Speaker 1: who won't likely see as much action as Tampa's backs did,
- 54:07Speaker 1: but he did finally break out of a three-game slump
- 54:10Speaker 1: that saw him finish under.
- 54:11Speaker 5: 36 a carry.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Going for 4-6 in attempt, 55 yards versus the Titans. Now,
- 54:22Speaker 1: the other side of the coin, we have a Cincinnati
- 54:24Speaker 1: defense that gave up 34 points to a one-win team
- 54:28Speaker 1: whose offense was averaging 15 a game against an Atlanta
- 54:32Speaker 1: offense that couldn't score a point. in their most recent showing.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Of course, the monsoon-like conditions had an impact, but they
- 54:43Speaker 1: just kept on letting Michael Penix chuck it, and he
- 54:46Speaker 1: chucked it to the Bucs four times. More INTs than
- 54:50Speaker 1: Baker had pass attempts. They went 0-for-12 on third down.
- 54:53Speaker 1: He finished with a 12 rating. And as much as
- 54:56Speaker 1: the rain impacted things, his decision-making was on blast amongst
- 55:00Speaker 1: the team's fans after it was over.
- 55:02Speaker 2: Pennix, time to throw, and another interception!
- 55:05Speaker 5: He has not started today the same way he finished
- 55:08Speaker 5: last week.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Pennix only had one INT in his previous five games,
- 55:12Speaker 1: so turning the ball over hadn't been an issue prior.
- 55:15Speaker 1: He didn't take any sacks on his 24 pass attempts.
- 55:18Speaker 1: This week, he has to worry about Boye Mafe, a
- 55:20Speaker 1: sack in four straight games. About Dexter Lawrence, he got
- 55:24Speaker 1: to Cam Ward once. He has a bag in four
- 55:26Speaker 1: of his last five.
- 55:27Speaker 12: Ward, pressure's coming. Try to get away from Dexter Lawrence,
- 55:31Speaker 12: but Dexter Lawrence had other ideas.
- 55:34Speaker 1: Lawrence's sack was huge. Bengals' defense, though, comes off a
- 55:37Speaker 1: rough showing, allowed Tennessee to put up 34 points, convert
- 55:41Speaker 1: three of four red zone trips. Their secondary gave up
- 55:44Speaker 1: two touchdowns to Ward without picking him off 300-plus yards
- 55:48Speaker 1: allowed to a dude that hadn't cracked 185 six of
- 55:51Speaker 1: his previous seven games.
- 55:53Speaker 12: Ward to the middle of the field. It's deflected and
- 55:55Speaker 12: caught by D.K. Touchdown, Titans!
- 55:58Speaker 1: Bengals were a sub-90-rate team ahead of last week, gave
- 56:01Speaker 1: up a rate over 100 to Ward. Now they get
- 56:04Speaker 1: Drake London coming off an 8-yard game. Kyle Pitts, 6.
- 56:08Speaker 1: Jahan Dotson did break away for a 76-yard catch, accounted
- 56:12Speaker 1: for 95 of Penix's 125 yards.
- 56:15Speaker 12: Penix is throwing it out of his end zone. Oh,
- 56:17Speaker 12: and it's caught by Jahan Dotson!
- 56:19Speaker 1: The strange thing, on some level, Atlanta has Bijan Robinson.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Why not just play the same game Tampa was playing?
- 56:26Speaker 1: 76 yards, four per carry in the mud.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Trying to plow forward.
- 56:30Speaker 8: Oh!
- 56:30Speaker 12: And he squirts through! 50-yard line and down the sideline!
- 56:34Speaker 1: You'd think he'd get plenty of play versus Cincinnati after
- 56:37Speaker 1: seeing them give up 117 yards to Tony Pollard on
- 56:40Speaker 1: 5-6 a carry, gave up two touchdowns to him. They're
- 56:44Speaker 1: now at 4-8 per attempt for 2026, too.
- 56:47Speaker 12: And Pollard got a first down. Pollard shifting this with
- 56:49Speaker 12: his feet. Lowers his shoulder at the 10!
- 56:52Speaker 1: Baltimore Ravens at home for Thursday night football have lost
- 56:56Speaker 1: three straight, have to try and get over the 500
- 56:59Speaker 1: mark without Lamar.
- 57:00Speaker 2: Fignano in trouble, and Fignano is dumped.
- 57:04Speaker 1: And not only that, but the 5-2 Jacksonville Jaguars are
- 57:08Speaker 1: in town, which sets up a game between a defense
- 57:11Speaker 1: that just gave up 36 points and an offense that
- 57:14Speaker 1: just put up 35. Lawrence fakes to him.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Tootin' has a convoy.
- 57:20Speaker 17: Tootin' to the 5, and he's going to stroll in
- 57:23Speaker 17: for the touchdown.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Trevor Lawrence and his mates, now averaging 28 points per
- 57:28Speaker 1: game after the Jags offense, scored four touchdowns from 25-plus
- 57:33Speaker 1: yards out versus Indianapolis. T-Law didn't have to throw much,
- 57:37Speaker 1: but he still threw three touchdowns on just 14 pass attempts,
- 57:41Speaker 1: averaged a ridiculous 15 yards per attempt, a 153 rate.
- 57:45Speaker 1: He's thrown seven touchdowns in his last two games.
- 57:49Speaker 2: Play action, Lawrence. Good body movement. Lawrence has a man.
- 57:53Speaker 6: It's caught.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Just magical quarterback play from Lawrence.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Lawrence did take three sacks on those 14 attempts, which
- 58:02Speaker 1: is a rough rate to get planted.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Lawrence decked. Football is live and the Colts have it.
- 58:07Speaker 1: But only one blamed on one of their linemen, and
- 58:10Speaker 1: it wasn't Walker Little, who has taken over at left tackle.
- 58:14Speaker 1: He held up well in his first outing on the
- 58:16Speaker 1: blind side. Now Trev tries to keep it rolling against
- 58:19Speaker 1: a pass rush. that has 17 sacks over eight games.
- 58:23Speaker 1: Only got to Josh Allen once on 34 pass attempts.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Trev going after a secondary that gave up 289 yards
- 58:29Speaker 1: and three TDs to Allen. Baltimore giving up a mid-90s
- 58:33Speaker 1: rate to quarterbacks for the season. Team giving up 25
- 58:37Speaker 1: a game after last week. 35-plus points allowed. Back-to-back games now.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Allen looks. He throws. Slipping to the end zone. Touchdown,
- 58:47Speaker 2: Dalton Kincaid.
- 58:48Speaker 1: 86 yards and a touchdown allowed to Dalton Kincaid. 82
- 58:52Speaker 1: yards and a TD to DJ Moore. Lawrence only amassed
- 58:56Speaker 1: 210 yards versus Indy. Only two guys with 50-plus receiving yards.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Tight end Brenton Strange, 55.
- 59:02Speaker 17: Gets it to the tight end, Brenton Strange. Boy, big breakdown,
- 59:06Speaker 17: hard stiff arm at the end of the play.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Fellow tight end Nate Borkert. caught a 31-yard TD. Jacoby Myers,
- 59:13Speaker 1: 24 yards. Parker Washington only 16. Brian Thomas, a 12-yard touchdown.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Bashawl Tootin with 55 yards, a 30-yard TD, along with
- 59:23Speaker 1: 104 yards on the ground, 6'5, a carry, 39-yard TD scamper.
- 59:29Speaker 1: He's been good for 65-plus yards in six of seven games.
- 59:33Speaker 2: This is Tootin'. Tootin' the rock. Tootin' break and one.
- 59:38Speaker 2: 39-yard sprint.
- 59:40Speaker 1: Ravens' rush defense, strong most games, holding runners to 3A
- 59:44Speaker 1: to carry, held James Cook to 3A to try, Buffalo
- 59:47Speaker 1: to 3-6. Lots of yards allowed, but it was due
- 59:50Speaker 1: to the nature of the game, faced 41 attempts.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Trey Hendrickson was there, step for step.
- 59:56Speaker 1: It's not just that Baltimore's defense versus Jacksonville's offense is
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: a lopsided affair based on recent results. This is a
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: game featuring an offense that only managed 10 points a
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: week ago versus a Jacksonville D that shut down Indy
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: to the tune of seven points, plus they housed an interception.
- 1:00:14Speaker 17: 91 on a pick six by Rayon Lane.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: They held the Colts to four yards per play, three
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: for 11 on third down, Jacksonville holding teams to 15
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: points per game now. Taking on a Lumberg-like O-face, Ravens
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: haven't scored 14 in three straight now.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Here comes the rush. Fagnano. Nobody home.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Three for 13 on third down versus the Bills. One
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: for three in the red zone. A brutal 2.9 yards
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: per play. It's Joe Fagnano. 10 for 21 for 91
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: yards off the bench. 4.3 yards per attempt. One pick.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: A 40 rating. Three sacks taken on 21 pass attempts.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: Finiano breaks away, but not nearly enough. It's going to
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: go down as a sack.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Needless to say, not one Raven with more than 22
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: receiving yards. Rashad Bateman, 22. Jacoby Lane, 13. Zay Flowers,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: not one catch on five targets. The third stringer would
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: be taking on a secondary with nine interceptions this year
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: after picking off Daniel Jones twice. Only a few teams
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: have more. They held them to 144 yards, a low
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: 60s rate, holding quarterbacks to a mid-80s rating overall.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Jones pass, and that thing was nearly picked.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Jacksonville's pass rush with a little mojo ahead of Week 9, too.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: They only have 15 sacks over seven games, but they
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: racked Jones three times, Anthony Richardson once... so a four-bag
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: game on 30 pass attempts.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Multiple defenders coming for Jones. It was Eric Armstead.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: So maybe Baltimore just steals a page from the Tampa
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Bay offensive playbook, hand off to Derrick Henry like 35-plus times.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: He only ran 11 times versus Buffalo, but finally found
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: some room, had finished under 3-5 a carry in four
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: of his previous five games, hit at 4-8 last week,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: 53 yards and a score.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: Henry!
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Slices through for the touchdown.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Giants on the road after a week off. Four 2-1
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: records sit atop the NFC East and have a real
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: belief they could take the division when it's all over.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Which is exactly what we just saw. And here comes Singletary.
- 1:02:28Speaker 12: The former Houston Texan wins the game for the Giants.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Next step on their quest, a visit to Philadelphia to
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: take on an Eagles team on a six-game losing streak.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Look out. Big sack by Adafioe. Philadelphia team.
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: Only the Chargers a longer losing streak.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Fans are singing cry, Eagles, cry right now. The last
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: time they suffered this many losses in a row, 2012,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: which was the last time they lost seven in a row.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: which they are in danger of doing unless they can
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: find a way to ignite an offense that hasn't scored
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: more than 21 points during the six-game slide.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Open first.
- 1:03:09Speaker 16: McKee tries to buy something. Downfield off the hands of
- 1:03:13Speaker 16: Darius Cooper.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: An incomplete.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Ten points versus a Washington defense that most teams have
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: had no problem scoring on. Five for 15 on third down.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: A measly 3.9 yards per play. Tanner McKee, 212 yards,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: no TDs, one pick. A low 70s rate. has looked
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: pretty much that way in all three of his games.
- 1:03:33Speaker 16: Grabs towards Cooper. It is picked off by Washington. Rasul
- 1:03:38Speaker 16: Douglas will throttle it down.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Devontae Smith, you healed up? Nah, man, my thumb is
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: still killing me.
- 1:03:45Speaker 11: Thumb?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I thought it was your hammy. Oh, yeah, that too, man,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: that too. Makai Lemon, look, I got it right. Led
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: the team with 57 yards.
- 1:03:53Speaker 16: Way past to Saquon, floating the ball to Makai.
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: Lemon, brings it in.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Eli Stowers tossed in 53 yards.
- 1:04:01Speaker 16: Stowers, got some stats, weaving through, still going to the
- 1:04:06Speaker 16: eight-yard line, and it will end there.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: The Giants' defense, Philadelphia's offense, is peering at, hasn't played
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: the run great, haven't tracked down as many quarterbacks as
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: we expected they would, but they've played the pass well enough.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: McKee facing a secondary, holding quarterbacks to a respectable 90
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: rating and more than respectable 6.1 yards per attempt, 184
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: yards per game. That's a win for any defense.
- 1:04:32Speaker 10: Stroud spinning away, flag is thrown, ball is thrown, it's
- 1:04:36Speaker 10: fluttering and it's incomplete.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: They've really struggled in the red zone, middle of the
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: pack on third down, but 23 points per game allowed, okay,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: even if it's not dominant.
- 1:04:46Speaker 10: We'll try to do it right here with the throw,
- 1:04:48Speaker 10: and that ends up stopping the clock.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Stover makes the catch.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: Abdul Carter, Arvel Reese, Kayvon Thibodeau, only nine sacks for
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: the entire team for the season, not having Brian Burns hurt,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: but still, one of the least effective pass rushes in
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: the NFL. And so many fans thought adding D.J. Reeder
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: was gonna make a difference in the run game, And
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: they're giving up 4.8 yards per carry, close to 130
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: yards per game.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: Jaden Daniels to the end zone. Two touchdown runs today
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: from long distance.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: Saquon did play last week. 13 attempts. Didn't get much going.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Neither did Elijah Mitchell. But maybe New York's pass rushers
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: shop this week. McKee was bagged five times by a
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Washington pass rush that didn't have many ahead of that.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: Third and four. McKee scared. He lost the football. Got
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: it back. Lost it again. And Washington is there.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: That mess of an offense has made it hard for
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: their defense to stay motivated. Gave up 27 points to
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: a Washington offense averaging 22 a game. So have now
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: allowed 24 plus in five of their last six games.
- 1:05:55Speaker 16: Daniels through an end zone. Stephon Diggs. Touchdown Washington.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: If you watched, though, they held the Commanders to 5
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: for 13 on third down. 12 of the 27 points
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: were on field goals. They came up with a couple
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: of sacks of Jaden Daniels, held him to 217 yards.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Didn't feel like you were watching a bad defense, per se.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Nolan Smith, Jalen Carter both picking up their fourth sacks
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: of 2026.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Daniels, pressure coming, going down.
- 1:06:24Speaker 16: Jordan Davis kept the push coming up the middle.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Jonathan Grenard joined the party.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: But law of averages says when you're on the field
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: all game long because your offense never goes anywhere, you're
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: going to give up points. Now they try and stop
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: nine times, too. So when Minnesota lets a quarterback walk,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: good things seem to happen for them.
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: J.J.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: McCarthy has looked like a different quarterback in blue the
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: last time we saw him. On the road versus Houston,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: 250-plus yards, a completion percentage over 70, a 99 rating,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: nine yards per attempt versus Houston, has thrown for 240-plus
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: yards in both games as a giant 90-plus rate in both.
- 1:07:05Speaker 10: McCarthy using the arm and that velocity is able to
- 1:07:09Speaker 10: connect with the rookie Malachi Fields.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Giants offense, 23 points per game, have been strong on
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: third down and in the red zone and have scored
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: 27 points in both McCarthy's outings.
- 1:07:20Speaker 10: And goal and a touchdown for Tyrone Tracy. Second straight week,
- 1:07:25Speaker 10: he's in the end zone, and the Giants strike first
- 1:07:28Speaker 10: in Texas.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: They have a blink 182 trio going when it comes
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: to pass catchers. Malik Neighbors has been that guy for them,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: leads the way with 86 yards per game.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: McCarthy's going to take a deep shot.
- 1:07:40Speaker 10: He's got some separation, and he's got Malik Neighbors down
- 1:07:43Speaker 10: inside the five.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Malachi Fields, 35 yards per game, and Isaiah Likely, the
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: key third cog, 56 yards per game leads the team
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: with five scores.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: Chance for McCarthy, taking a shot. End zone for Likely.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: And this game has turned around quite quickly. Touchdown for
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: New York.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: McCarthy took three sacks in his Houston start. New York
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: has allowed 21 for the year, which is a lot.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Left tackle Andrew Thomas has given up four and a half.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Right tackle Jermaine Illuminor, four per NextGenStats.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: McCarthy.
- 1:08:18Speaker 10: Away from Clowney, but he will not get away from Lassiter.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Cam Scadaboo appears to be out of the doghouse. Had
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: a week to heal his hammy, too, which he hurt
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: on his last run in their win against Houston, a
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: run that was part of a season-best 124-yard game.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: He could stack nice games back-to-back too.
- 1:08:36Speaker 10: Philadelphia's defense gave up 135 yards to Washington on over
- 1:08:40Speaker 10: five a carry allowed.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Miami Dolphins at home week 9, one game win streak,
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: a thing of the past.
- 1:08:53Speaker 16: Back to thinking about how to maybe keep that Miami
- 1:08:56Speaker 16: quarterback in state.
- 1:09:10Speaker 6: Pass deflected, it's up for grabs, and it's picked off!
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: Intercepted by Kevin Byard!
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: They welcome the Lions to town. Not the E-Troit Lions, either.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Make sure you put extra emphasis on that D, man.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: Straight drop, only a three-man rush, but they get pressure anyway,
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: and they drop him!
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: They brought three, but Skyler Gill.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: Lions know what they can do when they have the ball.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: What can make them really dangerous come playoff time is
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: keeping teams to like 21 a game. and they have
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: held the last three teams to less than 22. And
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: you can say, holding Minnesota to 15 points, three for
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: 10 on third down, isn't that impressive because Minnesota's offense
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: isn't any good? But remember, Detroit lost so many starters
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: to injury in that game, still picked off Kyler Murray,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: held him to a sub-90 rate. The injury parade with
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: this team, though. DB Brian Branch left the game with
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: a concussion. He just came back, too. Cornerback DJ Reed
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: left with a hurt hip, so have to see where
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: they're at before this one, but maybe safety Kirby Joseph
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: returns this week. Now, though, they see if they can
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: keep chipping away on what are still rough-looking defensive body-of-work
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: stats against Malik Willis and Miami's offense. After a couple
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: of 24- and 28-point showings, they slipped back under the
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: 20-point line versus New England. which is how they finished
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: five of seven games.
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: Willis on the move to the end zone, incomplete.
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: Just threw that one away, and unfortunately one of the
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: ushers took a shot right.
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: To the head.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Key to being held to 19 points versus the Pats,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Willis taking five sacks. He's taken 21 overall now.
- 1:10:58Speaker 6: Here's Willis in trouble again, and he's brought down. Christian Barmore.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: And that plays into Detroit's most consistent strength on defense,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: as only two teams have hunted down the quarterback more
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: than them. Do have to track DJ Wanham's status, as
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: he's one of the guys who left hurt last week
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: as well, but they tracked down Murray three times in
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: their win.
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: Ions D, which has been improved. Murray can't find anyone.
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: Murray is taken down.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Now, Willis helped the Finns convert seven of 14 third
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: downs last week. They battled. And he's been playing better lately,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: so Detroit can't overlook him working off back-to-back two TD games.
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: They are rebuilding as Willis looks deep.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: Wide open man. Touchdown.
- 1:11:42Speaker 17: Kevin Coleman, his second touchdown of the season.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Hasn't piled up big yards by any means. Just. 211
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: last week. His high came week one when he threw for.
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: 220.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: The cast he's working with, Malik Washington, 40 yards and
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: a score versus New England. Chris Bell, 31 yards. Caleb
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Douglas and tight end Greg Dulcich, 43 yards each. Kevin
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Coleman scored as well, led the team with 46 yards,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: and that was his season high. Their top yards producer
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: was Ollie Gordon. He's been their most consistent offensive player,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: ground out 69 rush yards a week ago. has put
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: up 69-plus in four straight games.
- 1:12:20Speaker 6: Lions have not let rush attacks hurt them most games,
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: held Minnesota to 81 ground yards, have held four of
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: the last five teams to fewer than 82 rush yards.
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: Speaking of rush attacks, Jameer Gibbs is.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: A grown-ass man. He is the biggest reason Detroit handed
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Minnesota their first loss.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: It is working. Gibbs breaking through again. He is feeling it.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Gibbs with 115 plus yards and three straight, his third
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: 150 plus yard game of the year last week. And
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: if you watched it, you know the 153 yard performance
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: was like watching Maximus take down every gladiator in the arena.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: 6-7 per carry and a score. Are you not entertained?
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Detroit knew it wasn't going to be a high-scoring game.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Only 19 points. That's back-to-back games. They haven't scored 21.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: They knew the passing attack they have wasn't going to
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: light it up. Jared Goff only threw for 176 yards
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: and threw his first INT. the asterisk, Jamo fell down
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: on the pass. They knew Goff would be under duress,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: and he was. He took four sacks on 25 pass
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: attempts against relentless blitzes, and they saw center Cade Mays
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: leave with a hurt ankle, too.
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: What he normally sees.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: Look out!
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: Pressure!
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: Eric Wilson right up the gut and another sack.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: And they still prevailed for the third game in a row.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Amon Ross St. Brown, only 46 yards. Sam Laporta, 33.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: And they adapted and loaded up on Gibbs, and that's
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: why they're so dangerous. Jamison Williams led the team with
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: 70 yards and a touchdown, his third straight game scoring,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: 70-plus yards in three of his last four.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: There's 140 total yards. Goff fakes to him, throwing. Jamison
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: Williams in for the touchdown. Lions back in front.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Now, their offense going from Minnesota's defense to Miami's is
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: going to feel like playing a game in the soft
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: sand on a beach one week to, well, playing on
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: a perfectly manicured grass field the next. Only one team
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: hasn't put up at least 24 points on the Dolphins'
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: defense this year.
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: I saw Pitt as he throws, looking deep down the field.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: He's got Williams! Touchdown!
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: They gave up 24 points to New England, are the
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: second easiest team to move the sticks against, secondary golf
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: and company dance with, are allowing the highest rate and
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: completion percentage in the NFL. They gave up a 140-plus
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: rate to Drake May, only faced 20 pass attempts, only
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: stopped four of them from being caught. Ten yards per
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: attempt allowed, all of it fits their 2026 resume.
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: Steps up, throws on the run, he's got Pop Douglas,
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: and a first down for New England to Mario Douglas
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: with his first catch today.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Miami's pass rush on the other end of the sack
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: spectrum compared to what Goff just faced They only have
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: nine sacks all year, fewest in the league, which makes
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: their week eight outing a breakout performance because they did
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: get to May three times on those 20 throws.
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: May, feeling the heat, and Chop Robinson chops them up.
- 1:15:34Speaker 6: A sack for Robinson on third down.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Gibbs does face a front that's tough to run on,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: being they've held ball carriers to 3-8 a carry. They
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: held New England to 3-6 per. but it was by
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: keeping May to five yards on eight attempts against Corey Kiner,
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: 5-4 per attempt, Ramondre Stevenson, 4-3, which is what they're
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: allowing to running backs this season.
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: Snap, rolls on the ground, May picks it up, and
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: May is tackled short of a first down by Michael Taft.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Saints at home, week nine after a week off. Sure,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: they've lost four of their last five, only have two wins,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: but in the NFC South, two wins means you're a contender.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: The Cleveland Browns are in town, still in the thick
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: of things despite last week's loss, but have to find
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: a way to score points on a more consistent basis.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: Cleveland has only topped 14 points once in their last
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: four games. Only six last week, four for 13 on
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: third down, 0 for 3 in the red zone, and
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Deshaun Watson coming off an octopus special.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Four, pocket, fumbles, down he goes.
- 1:16:53Speaker 15: What a hit.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Watson took eight sacks in a game for the second
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: time in their last four games. Left tackle Spencer Fano
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: has allowed four in that span. He's given up seven
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: and a half for the year. No lineman has allowed more.
- 1:17:07Speaker 5: Second down and six.
- 1:17:09Speaker 15: Troubling pocket and down he goes.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: One New Orleans defensive strength. Watson does have to worry
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: about Carl Granderson and Chase Young. Team has 18 sacks,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Granderson five, and Chase at seven. That's a one-per-game average,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: having a great year.
- 1:17:26Speaker 12: They snap it. Rodgers hit. And sacked by Chase Young.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Watson, meantime, has put up back-to-back 300-plus yard games. 324
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: versus Pittsburgh, over eight yards per attempt. No TDs, but
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: no INTs.
- 1:17:43Speaker 15: Going deep, and he's got him at the 15, and
- 1:17:47Speaker 15: fanning down inside the two.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Browns O guys are lined up to do a little something,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: unless the Saints corrected some things during their week off. Secondary,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: allowing over 230 yards per game. rate close to 100
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry oh no 280 yards and two TDs
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: allowed cornerback Quincy Riley has given up 285 in three touchdowns.
- 1:18:11Speaker 10: And you might get some of those run lanes as
- 1:18:12Speaker 10: a quarterback Jefferson trying to get free.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: Double coverage! Hometown kid!
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: They did hold Pittsburgh to 16 points last time out,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: still giving up 27 points per game, one of the
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: easiest teams to keep drives alive against.
- 1:18:27Speaker 12: Third down and long. Rogers steps up and airs it out,
- 1:18:31Speaker 12: going for Metcalf.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: Got it! Pulled in inside the five-yard line.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Cleveland's tight end Harold Fannin is starting to get things going.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: 90 plus yards back-to-back games. Season high 154 last week.
- 1:18:46Speaker 15: Watson to the air. Fannin will get the call. A
- 1:18:48Speaker 15: block ahead by Fano. Sampson 62. But once again, nothing
- 1:19:02Speaker 15: much from Cleveland's rush attack, Quinshawn Judkins, 25 yards, 2.3
- 1:19:05Speaker 15: a carry.
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Sub four per carry and six of his last seven
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: at this point, Saints have been easy to run on.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: 139 yards per game, 4.8 yards per carry allowed.
- 1:19:25Speaker 12: Warren running the ball on second and seven. He's got
- 1:19:28Speaker 12: the first down and more. Inside the 40. Drags a defender.
- 1:19:32Speaker 12: McKinstry out of bounds.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: Saints offense Browns D mixes it up with can put
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: up points. The average 23 a game have gone for
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: 24 plus against every team save Minnesota and Pittsburgh. They're
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: actually top 10 good on third down and in the
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: red zone. In fact, they're elite when they enter Scott
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: Hansen's abode.
- 1:19:52Speaker 12: Underneath, Kamara White opening space inside the five. Ramsey with
- 1:19:56Speaker 12: the big hit. It'll be first down and goal, though,
- 1:19:58Speaker 12: for the Saints.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Brown's secondary will be tested by Tyler Schuch. 245 yards
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: per game, a respectable 90 rating, one TD pass short
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: of a two-per-game average.
- 1:20:10Speaker 12: It's going to be a pass play and making the catches, Vele,
- 1:20:14Speaker 12: for the Saints touchdown.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Cleveland Secondary has a threes company type of group on
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: their hands. Tight end Jawan Johnson, 36 yards per game
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: so far, three touchdowns. Devon Vele, 49 per, three scores
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: as well. And the star of the show, the Jack Tripper,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: if you will, Chris Olave, 20 plus more targets than Vele.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Nice 90 yard per game average, two touchdowns.
- 1:20:39Speaker 10: Shocker.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Brown's secondary, not really the reason they gave up 27
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: points to Pittsburgh. They held Aaron Rodgers to 172 yards,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: no touchdowns, picked him off, sub-60 rate. They continue to
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: be tough on quarterbacks. as they're holding them to an
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: 83-rating big picture.
- 1:21:03Speaker 12: It bounces off his chest, and Ward comes along and
- 1:21:07Speaker 12: picks it out of the air.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Browns with a healthy 21 sacks for 2026, but only
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: one sack of Rodgers on 25 pass attempts. Shuck has
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: taken 15 sacks over five games, five of those allowed
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: by right tackle Talisi Fuaga. Nobody else on the line
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: has allowed more than two.
- 1:21:25Speaker 8: That gives him a great one-on-one matchup with the right tackle,
- 1:21:28Speaker 8: makes the inside move, attacks the ball.
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: No one's better at attacking the ball.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Alvin Kamara is on handoff duty for the most part,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: averages more receiving yards per game than Rush. Hasn't run
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: for more than 36 yards in a game yet, only
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: averaging three a carry so far. Their rush attack, one
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: of the least productive in the league. Taking on a
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: rattled Browns front that gave up 200 rush yards to
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: the Steelers, won 43 of those to Jalen Warren on
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: 8-4 per run.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: And oh, the penalties, Brownies.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Two taunting flags in a game you're losing? That's like
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: if Luke were to make fun of Vader's breathing after
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: he jumped off that platform. Oh yeah, well you sound funny!
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: You know, Chad, right when we thought you couldn't do
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: anything dumber... Ryland tried to make it so.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: No way!
- 1:22:27Speaker 5: Oh my god!
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: He missed it! No way!
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: You do something like this and totally redeem yourself.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: On the way, and it is good.
- 1:22:38Speaker 12: Redemption for Ryland.
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: Comeback for the Cardinals. A shocking win in Dallas.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Underestimate the Cardinals at your peril, Seahawks. Both L.A. teams did,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: and the Cowboys did. Arizona in Seattle this week. Hawks
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: only have one more win than their feathered friends after
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: falling to the 500 mark at the kind of halfway
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: mark of the season.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: Four. Darnold in trouble. Bears take over.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Seattle hasn't scored 21 points in three straight games after
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: finishing with just 17 versus Chicago, one for 11 on
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: third down, one for four in the red zone. Sam
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: Darnold with an INT in his sixth straight game.
- 1:23:18Speaker 11: The Bears do, and now Darnold has the pass batted
- 1:23:22Speaker 11: and picked off. Intercepted by James Lynch down to the five.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: The Cardinals' defense they face this week is normally the
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: kind a bad O can get right against. They're allowing
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: more points per game than any other team gave up
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: 30 to Dallas.
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: That's it. Go with a flag down. Flannoy, a one-handed catch. Touchdown.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: If it stands, a highlight play for Flannoy.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: It's a secondary, allowing the second-highest rate in the NFL,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: over eight yards per attempt for the season, but comes
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: off a game that saw them limit CeeDee Lamb and
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: George Pickens, to fewer than 60 yards each, held Dak
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: Prescott to less than 200 yards.
- 1:24:00Speaker 12: Looking at Lamb's direction, and it was knocked down at
- 1:24:03Speaker 12: the line and incomplete. LJ Collier has knocked down a couple.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: This week, they get to see what it's like to
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: cover the Bob Dylan of the NFL, the Allen Iverson,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: if you're talking sports. Jackson Smith and Jigba continues to
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: be one of the most amazing one-man fans you'll ever
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: lay eyes on. 118 yards and a touchdown versus Chicago.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Talley now stands at 100-plus and 7 of 8. 985
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: yards after eight games.
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: Darnold, there he is. Jackson, Smith, and Jigba touchdown Seattle.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Darnold didn't pick up with anybody else for even 27 yards.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: And Yosemite Sam is staring at a pass rush that
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: can play the Buggs role. As they sacked Dak four
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: times on 29 pass attempts, they have a respectable 19
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: sacks on the season, too. And Darnold took three sacks
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: versus Chicago, despite the addition of guard Quentin Nelson. He
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: didn't allow any. Right tackle Abraham Lucas and guard Gray
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Zabel did, though. Zabel has now given up a team-high
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: 4.5 for the season. Darnold has taken three plus now
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: in four of their last five games.
- 1:25:13Speaker 2: Action, Darnold in trouble and brought down by Bush. Boy,
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: this defense is flying around.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: Seattle got Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price back. Neither guy
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: able to hit it four yards per carry. Price given
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: the most opportunities with 10 attempts. And here again, we
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: find Arizona's defense playing better recently compared to their body
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: of work. Their season average against the run, 4.3 yards
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: per carry, but they held Javante Williams to 2.3 and
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: just 54 yards.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: Pistol. Straight ahead, Williams. He's not going to get there.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: Spilled in the backfield.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Cardinals also hold the what-have-you-done-for-me-lately edge when they have the ball, too.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: How much you want to make a bet, Gardner can
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: throw a football over them mountains. Mike LaFleur believed he
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: could and put Uncle Rico in in the fourth quarter
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: last week, and they walked off state champions.
- 1:26:05Speaker 12: Minshew ends out Wilson. He's got it. Touchdown, Arizona.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Okay, fine. He went in late third. Close enough. And
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: they didn't win state, but they beat Dallas in OT
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: for their third win, earning Minshew the starting role, took
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: over for Jacoby Brissett, went 17 for 23, 188 yards,
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: over 8 yards per attempt, a 137 rate. made all
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: sorts of blast tyrant types of throws.
- 1:26:30Speaker 12: Minshew steps up, looking long. Wilson's got it. Perfect throw
- 1:26:35Speaker 12: inside the 15. Clock winding inside 20 seconds.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: Clutch, all sorts of clutch throws. And he gets a
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: slightly rattled Seattle secondary. It's rare that group has to
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: try and rebound, but they couldn't contain Caleb last Monday.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: Williams went 24 for.
- 1:26:51Speaker 12: 34 against them.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: 247 yards and a TD, no INTs. gave up a
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: 100-plus rate to him.
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: Williams keeps, throws, Burton, touchdown.
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: Hawks defense right now in the opposite situation as Arizona's,
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: where they have struggled and had a good week eight.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: Seattle's D has been strong but had a bad week eight.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: They've been hard to pass on, not so much last Monday,
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: hard to score on, holding teams to 19 a game,
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: 34 versus Chicago, seven set up by Darnold's INT, 27th,
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: still not their typical standard, though. Couldn't stop them in
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: the red zone on four tries.
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: Right back to the line, Swift to the edge. Touchdown, Chicago!
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: It's a pass rush with 18 sacks for 2026, but
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: only came up with one last week. Between Brissette and Minshew,
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: Arizona did take five sacks to a typically weak Dallas
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: pass rush. They have now taken 20 overall.
- 1:27:50Speaker 12: The one facet Seattle's defense held their ground on versus
- 1:27:54Speaker 12: Chicago was the run game.
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: Yes, DeAndre Swift scored three times.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: He was finishing the job, though. They held him to
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: 2.6 a carry, which fits their 2026 resume versus the run.
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: Nowhere to go.
- 1:28:15Speaker 11: Jaron Reed was there, as was Derek Hall, at a
- 1:28:19Speaker 11: loss of one.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: And here's where we get to the other Arizona offensive
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: guy that played a huge role in their upset a
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: week ago, Tyler Algier, who broke free for two 50-plus-yard
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: runs won a 63-yard TD.
- 1:28:32Speaker 12: Algier with a hole, and Tyler Algier gallops free inside
- 1:28:37Speaker 12: the 30. Algier cuts it back. gets a block, takes
- 1:28:41Speaker 12: it all the way.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: Touchdown Cardinals.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: It would take something special, of course, to do that
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: versus Seattle. Algier also scored on a reception, adding 44
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: receiving yards to his day.
- 1:28:52Speaker 12: Minshew finds Algier, tighter Algier, reaches, oh it's his day!
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: Seattle's DBs gave up 87 yards to Roma Dunzey in
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: that loss, 56 yards in a TD to Luther Burden,
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: 65 yards to tight end Colston Loveland. No one guy
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: on the hook for major yards allowed. This week, the
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: primary two guys they have on their hands, Michael Wilson,
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: who saw 15 targets versus Dallas, caught eight of them
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: for his first triple-digit game, 111 yards along with that
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: big TD.
- 1:29:23Speaker 12: Henshaw hit as he throws. Wilson's got it. Comes out
- 1:29:27Speaker 12: of his break, and the ball's waiting for him.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: And Trey McBride, of course, has 70-plus yards and a
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: touchdown in each of his last two games.
- 1:29:34Speaker 12: For wide open Trey McBride and an Arizona touchdown.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: Seattle's Jason Myers missed extra point plus had a field
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: goal blocked. Indianapolis Colts at home this week. Man, how
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: do you capture where things are at right now? You're
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: holding a garage sale, hoping to make enough so you
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: can move into a nicer place, but you put the
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: couch you bought last year on the card. The math
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: just doesn't add up.
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: This kind of a game, this kind of a result,
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: you just add fuel to the fire.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: But hey, the Alice Cowboys are in town no matter
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: how bad your offense might be. the Cowboys' defense might
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: be the cowbell for your fever.
- 1:30:12Speaker 12: It's on the way, and it is good! Redemption for Ryland!
- 1:30:17Speaker 12: Comeback for the Cardinals! A shocking win in Dallas!
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: Dallas has a defensive dumpster fire on its hands. Worst
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: third down defense after eight weeks, bad in the red zone,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: surrendering 26 points per game after giving up 33 to Arizona,
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: 20 points given up in the fourth quarter alone.
- 1:30:34Speaker 12: Minshew, end zone, Wilson! He's got it! Touchdown, Arizona!
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: Daniel Jones takes on a secondary that's faced three backup
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: quarterbacks in their last four games, have now lost to
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: two of them. They got lucky Gardner Minshew didn't play
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: all game. because they gave up three touchdowns, a 137
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: rate to him off the bench, 72 yards and a
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: touchdown allowed to Trey McBride, 111 and a score to
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: Michael Wilson. Is JT still on the team? Hand him
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: the ball 25 times. No team allowing more rush yards
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: per game. Only one team allowing more than their five
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: yards per carry gave up 147 yards on 13.4 yards
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: per carry to Tyler Algier. Two runs of 50-plus yards
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: won a 63-yard TD.
- 1:31:24Speaker 12: Gets a block, takes it all the way. Touchdown Cardinals.
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: The silver lining for the Stars' defense. They at least
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: came up with five sacks. Only had 10 ahead of
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: the game, so that was an outburst. Quinn and Williams
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: with a pair.
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: Minshew's in trouble, and Minshew is sacked.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: So what's going to give then? Because Indy's offense only
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: came up with seven points last week. 10 the week before,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: fewer than 23-4 straight, average 20 a game for the year.
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: Jones, no play. Everyone covered again.
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: DJ has been sacked 22 times and three taken last week.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: Five straight sub-73 rating games, two more INTs last week,
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: nine now for the year.
- 1:32:09Speaker 2: He's intercepted again, Branson Combs.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: Jonathan Taylor only got eight carries versus Jacksonville. Hmm, I
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: wonder why.
- 1:32:17Speaker 14: Question marks surrounding Jonathan Taylor will continue. Again, still a
- 1:32:20Speaker 14: full week plus before the NFL trade deadline on November
- 1:32:24Speaker 14: the 10th. That'll be a week from Tuesday.
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: Only Colt with 50-plus yards receiving or rushing Keenan Allen
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: with 67. He's like, can anybody call KC for me?
- 1:32:34Speaker 14: Jones putting some air under it and completes again. Keenan Allen,
- 1:32:37Speaker 14: you read some of the trade reports.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: As ugly as Indianapolis' offense looked post those two trades,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: their defense may have been worse. 183 rush yards given out,
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: 5.5 a carry. 104 yards allowed to Bashaw Tootin on
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: an 8.5 per attempt.
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: 39-yard sprint!
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: 42 points allowed to the Jaguars. Four touchdowns allowed of
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: 25-plus yards. Three TDs allowed to Trevor Lawrence. A 153 rate.
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: 15 yards per attempt is absurd. It was like they
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: weren't trying. I'm not saying they weren't. I'm just saying
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: it looked really bad.
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: Play action.
- 1:33:14Speaker 12: Lawrence.
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: Good body movement. Lawrence has a man! It's caught!
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: So now here comes Dak and company. I mean, they
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: put up 30 points.
- 1:33:23Speaker 10: Dak's under pressure, getting late through his progression, puts it
- 1:33:26Speaker 10: on his back shoulder, and he just sticks up that
- 1:33:29Speaker 10: big left hand and palms it.
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: But 3.6 yards per play is Jabba the Hutt ugly.
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: Prescott in trouble and sacked.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: Javante Williams, 56 yards on just 2.3 a run.
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: Williams hit in the backfield, not going to get it.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: Prescott didn't even throw for 200 yards. CeeDee Lamb, 58 yards.
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: George Pickens, 48. Prescott sacked four times.
- 1:33:52Speaker 12: Prescott steps up and gets sacked.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: This sums it up best. Entering last Sunday, the Cowboys
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: were 69-0 at home when leading by 14 or more
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter dating back to 2000.
- 1:34:04Speaker 12: Arizona?
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: 1-147-1 when trailing by that margin in the fourth over
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: that same period and then last week happened.
- 1:34:15Speaker 12: And there have been some tough losses in the two
- 1:34:17Speaker 12: seasons for Brian Schottenheimer and these Cowboys.
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: This is right up near the top of the list.
