- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Good morning, friends. Welcome to Tuesday. Ricky Sanchez is right
- 0:05Speaker 2: here with those three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 0:09Speaker 3: A How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days sequel
- 0:13Speaker 3: is in the works. Sequel's in its early stages with
- 0:16Speaker 3: the cast and key creative roles yet to be selected.
- 0:19Speaker 3: But the filmmakers and the studio want both Kate Hudson
- 0:22Speaker 3: and Matthew McConaughey to reprise their roles, obviously. Kate is
- 0:25Speaker 3: already attached to the project. She's set to produce it.
- 0:29Speaker 3: So we'll see if she actually ends up being the
- 0:32Speaker 3: main character yet again. And obviously if Matthew McConaughey signs
- 0:35Speaker 3: on as well. The original movie came out in 2003.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Kind of crazy to think about that. So it's been
- 0:41Speaker 3: quite some time.
- 0:43Speaker 4: Great movie.
- 0:44Speaker 3: If you haven't watched it, you're crazy since it's been
- 0:47Speaker 3: out since 2003.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Such a cute movie. Highly recommend.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Grimeys and Vinyl Tap are hosting free listening parties for
- 0:53Speaker 3: Billy String's new album, So Much for Goodbyes. The album
- 0:56Speaker 3: drops August 28th, but the listening parties are happening two
- 1:00Speaker 3: days earlier.
- 1:00Speaker 5: So they're happening tomorrow on the 26th.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Both events are going to offer giveaways and they're free
- 1:06Speaker 3: to anyone who wants to join in. You just got
- 1:08Speaker 3: to make sure you get there early enough to actually
- 1:09Speaker 3: get in. I believe the one at Grimeys starts at
- 1:12Speaker 3: 4 p.m., but all that information is up on their
- 1:15Speaker 3: Instagram accounts. You can find out more stuff there.
- 1:18Speaker 5: And Walmart, they are finally accepting tap-to-pay.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Love it.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Starting this week, you can tap-to-pay with Apple Pay and
- 1:24Speaker 3: Google Pay at select stores. They plan to expand that
- 1:27Speaker 3: option to Walmarts and Sam Club locations.
- 1:31Speaker 5: All over the country.
- 1:32Speaker 3: And by the end of the year, they also want
- 1:34Speaker 3: to include gas stations. So, like, it's going to be
- 1:37Speaker 3: everywhere Walmart owns at some point. It's a smart move
- 1:40Speaker 3: because after years of complaints about the lack of tap-to-pay support,
- 1:43Speaker 3: it's about time they do something about it.
- 1:45Speaker 2: I mean, I know they don't have it, and I
- 1:47Speaker 2: am just so trained to do the tap that, like,
- 1:50Speaker 2: when I go to Walmart, I know they don't have it,
- 1:52Speaker 2: but I still try it.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Well, even worse, they have their own option of it.
- 1:56Speaker 3: which makes it more difficult. So you'd have to sign
- 1:58Speaker 3: up for like another version of tap to pay in
- 2:02Speaker 3: order to tap to pay, which is just insane. And
- 2:04Speaker 3: nobody likes doing things like that. So it's about time
- 2:07Speaker 3: they got on board.
- 2:08Speaker 5: I'm Ricky Sanchez. And those are the three things you
- 2:09Speaker 5: need to know.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Appreciate you, Ricky Sanchez. Here in a few minutes, we've
- 2:12Speaker 2: got a four pack of tickets for the Nashville fair
- 2:15Speaker 2: for you for the first caller of the day, about
- 2:18Speaker 2: seven minutes away. We'll ask you to call to win those.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Here's our Larson. Getting back into the music on this
- 2:22Speaker 2: Tuesday morning. It's the River.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Judy on her way to work in Glasgow is on
- 2:28Speaker 2: the line right now. How are you doing this morning, Judy?
- 2:30Speaker 2: How are you feeling? I'm good.
- 2:32Speaker 6: How are you?
- 2:33Speaker 2: I think we're all good. Zach's hungry. He wants to
- 2:36Speaker 2: order Taco Bell already. I'm starving. But other than that,
- 2:41Speaker 2: we're good. The breakfast? Yes, girl.
- 2:45Speaker 4: Oh.
- 2:45Speaker 6: Judy, there was a lot of judgment in your voice
- 2:47Speaker 6: just now, and I do not appreciate that.
- 2:50Speaker 3: It was warranted judgment.
- 2:53Speaker 2: It was warranted, Judy. It's okay. Does anybody ever call
- 2:55Speaker 2: you good booty, Judy?
- 2:57Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:59Speaker 2: Kevin's shocked by that.
- 3:00Speaker 3: This is how you know that Kevin and Zach and
- 3:03Speaker 3: I grew up in different generations.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I want to meet her.
- 3:07Speaker 5: That sounds creepy.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Is that a name from pop culture that I should know?
- 3:12Speaker 3: I mean, it was, yeah, but like you are older
- 3:15Speaker 3: than us, so you don't know about it.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Judy, do you remember?
- 3:17Speaker 4: No, no.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't remember what it's from, if I'm being
- 3:22Speaker 3: entirely honest, but it was one of those things.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Literally the first thing that came to my mind as
- 3:26Speaker 6: soon as you said your name was Judy, I was like,
- 3:28Speaker 6: good booty, Judy.
- 3:30Speaker 5: Kevin's really trying to google this right now judy.
- 3:32Speaker 3: What do you have planned for the day outside of
- 3:34Speaker 3: work uh.
- 3:35Speaker 5: No i'll be there till six.
- 3:37Speaker 3: O'clock tonight okay so you got nothing planned after that
- 3:40Speaker 3: you're like i'm going home i'm going to bed.
- 3:42Speaker 2: I'm done that's a long day judy what.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Do you do i'm a monitor tech.
- 3:47Speaker 2: What does that mean i gotta google that.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Now i watch all the heart rates and stuff at
- 3:52Speaker 1: tj fans and Oh.
- 3:54Speaker 5: My gosh. Okay, that sounds really intense, Judy.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, there's about 40 of them.
- 4:00Speaker 5: That's not too bad.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Okay, I feel like you're making light of something that
- 4:03Speaker 3: can be very impressive and very intense.
- 4:05Speaker 5: Right now, Judy.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Okay, but last question for you, Judy.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Because you're monitoring heart rates and everything, what do you
- 4:12Speaker 6: do if it tanks?
- 4:13Speaker 2: Do you just scream?
- 4:15Speaker 3: You have to call the nurse and just let them
- 4:17Speaker 3: know it happens.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Zach.
- 4:20Speaker 5: Yeah, she screams.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Help! Someone help!
- 4:23Speaker 5: That is not okay.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Well, good thing that's not Zach's job, Judy.
- 4:29Speaker 5: You have a long day ahead of you.
- 4:30Speaker 3: We want to start it off by saying that you
- 4:32Speaker 3: are the first caller of the day this morning on 107.5
- 4:35Speaker 3: The River. You're getting a four-pack of tickets to the
- 4:37Speaker 3: National Fair.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Yay!
- 4:39Speaker 1: That's awesome.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Congratulations. It's coming up September 11th through the 20th. Really quick,
- 4:44Speaker 2: there were like a couple different songs that referenced Big
- 4:47Speaker 2: Booty Judy. I don't know what came first, but there
- 4:50Speaker 2: was one by Arthur Young. There was another one by
- 4:53Speaker 2: Money Montana. So, you know, I don't know what came first,
- 4:56Speaker 2: the term in these songs or just the term in general.
- 4:58Speaker 2: But either way, congratulations on the booty. Congratulations on winning.
- 5:02Speaker 2: It is great to start the day with you.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Thank you. We're going to save you from us, and
- 5:09Speaker 3: we're going to put you on hold, and we're going
- 5:11Speaker 3: to get your information in a second, okay?
- 5:12Speaker 5: Okay.
- 5:13Speaker 2: All right, hang on. We've got more fare tickets tomorrow.
- 5:16Speaker 2: And Kevin's going to make it weird again. Don't you worry.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Guaranteed. Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 5:23Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I don't know if I've told you guys my idea
- 5:27Speaker 2: for this before, Ricky and Zach. It's 107.5 The River.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I have an idea to revolutionize yearbooks. What?
- 5:34Speaker 3: I have a feeling that it's not going to revolutionize anything.
- 5:36Speaker 3: It's going to be some weird, insane idea that makes
- 5:39Speaker 3: no sense.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Are you going to make them holographic? That's not a
- 5:42Speaker 2: bad idea. But no, my idea..
- 5:43Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I might be blowing it out of proportion a little bit,
- 5:46Speaker 2: but I think it's a good idea. I think it's
- 5:47Speaker 2: a cool way to change your books, and I will
- 5:49Speaker 2: share it with you next.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Morning, everybody.
- 5:52Speaker 5: I hope you're ready for this.
- 5:53Speaker 3: This crazy, innovative way to change your books forever. It's Ricky, Zach,
- 5:58Speaker 3: and Mano in the morning on 107.5 The River and
- 6:01Speaker 3: our very own..
- 6:02Speaker 5: Kevin Mano apparently has.
- 6:04Speaker 3: The best idea since, I don't know, like the millennium?
- 6:08Speaker 2: Revolutionary. It's revolutionary. It's intense. New yearbooks.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Go ahead, Kev. Tell us your idea.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I think that we are maybe blowing it out of
- 6:16Speaker 2: proportion a little bit.
- 6:17Speaker 4: We?
- 6:18Speaker 2: This is what you said, sir.
- 6:20Speaker 5: We have no idea what this idea is.
- 6:22Speaker 2: As kids or, you know, just getting back to school.
- 6:24Speaker 2: This has been my idea for a while and I've
- 6:26Speaker 2: never heard of a school doing it. But as a
- 6:28Speaker 2: father myself, I have two kids. I think a yearbook
- 6:31Speaker 2: should feature a beginning of the year photo next to
- 6:34Speaker 2: an end of the year photo. So you can see
- 6:35Speaker 2: how the kids aged, matured, grew over the year. So
- 6:39Speaker 2: at the end of the year, when you get the yearbook,
- 6:40Speaker 2: you see them at the beginning and then you see
- 6:41Speaker 2: them at the end. Okay, good idea.
- 6:43Speaker 6: I don't hate the idea, but I also feel like
- 6:45Speaker 6: that's like the parent's job.
- 6:48Speaker 4: My solid point.
- 6:49Speaker 2: That solid point. Okay.
- 6:51Speaker 4: The man's got a point. You're right.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And of course, we take pictures all the time of
- 6:55Speaker 2: our kids. We have them every day of their lives.
- 6:57Speaker 2: But little Luca, my son's friend, I don't have pictures.
- 7:01Speaker 2: It's fun to sit and look at all the kids growing,
- 7:04Speaker 2: not just your kid. You know what I mean?
- 7:06Speaker 6: I guess, yeah.
- 7:06Speaker 2: I mean, I know they do that.
- 7:07Speaker 5: My school yearbook did this.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Senior year, when you graduate high school, there's a baby
- 7:11Speaker 3: picture of you in the back.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Of the books.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Oh, cute.
- 7:14Speaker 3: So, like, they see what, like, you know, like, your
- 7:16Speaker 3: parents send in a baby picture of you, and then
- 7:18Speaker 3: it's your baby picture and what you look like now
- 7:20Speaker 3: kind of thing. So, it's the same idea, just not
- 7:22Speaker 3: year to year, which seems a little drastic.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I just feel like... Kevin, I don't hate the idea.
- 7:28Speaker 5: I don't hate it either.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I just also don't think it's innovative and insane and revolutionary.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I think it's a great idea. I think they should, what,
- 7:34Speaker 2: cost a little bit more money, just move some stuff
- 7:36Speaker 2: around in the budget, make it happen?
- 7:38Speaker 3: Also, question, just because I don't have any kids, so
- 7:40Speaker 3: I'm genuinely wondering, do your kids get yearly yearbooks still
- 7:45Speaker 3: to this day, and are they free?
- 7:48Speaker 2: They are free currently.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I don't know in high school if you have to
- 7:51Speaker 2: start paying for them. High school you pay for them.
- 7:53Speaker 2: And they're like little like thin. They're not like any
- 7:55Speaker 2: like hardcover.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 3: They're like cheapy kind of made books or whatever, but
- 7:59Speaker 3: they give it to you for free.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so. I mean, Ally usually pays the
- 8:03Speaker 2: bills and stuff.
- 8:03Speaker 5: He's the wrong person to ask.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:07Speaker 6: I will say the only thing that I have against it, Kevin,
- 8:10Speaker 6: is I know that a lot of kids really hate
- 8:12Speaker 6: photo day. So the fact that they're going to have
- 8:14Speaker 6: to do it twice in a year... And get them
- 8:17Speaker 6: ready for picture day.
- 8:18Speaker 5: The coordination.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Teachers coordinating that and getting all the kids to line
- 8:22Speaker 3: up the way that they need to and the mayhem
- 8:24Speaker 3: that happens.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah, that part I don't care about. They can figure
- 8:26Speaker 2: that out. I just want a beginning of the year
- 8:28Speaker 2: picture and end of the year picture. And, Ricky, I
- 8:31Speaker 2: do think that we had to pay for the yearbook
- 8:32Speaker 2: now that I'm thinking more about it. I remember getting
- 8:34Speaker 2: like an order form that we had to order the yearbook. So, yeah,
- 8:37Speaker 2: I'm guessing that came with a cost.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Interesting.
- 8:40Speaker 2: But again, you're asking the wrong thing. I'm just an idea, man, okay?
- 8:43Speaker 2: That's my idea. If there's any schools out there listening,
- 8:45Speaker 2: take it, run with it. You're welcome.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Three things you need to know. Good morning.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Thank you so much for starting this Tuesday with us.
- 8:51Speaker 2: We're glad you're here. Ricky Sanchez has those three things
- 8:53Speaker 2: presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Stella Lefty has announced the Long Way Home Tour.
- 8:59Speaker 5: She kicks it off at the Fillmore.
- 9:00Speaker 3: In Detroit on January 9th. But she's playing here in Nashville, okay?
- 9:06Speaker 3: February 17th at the Ryman, which is pretty impressive. The Ryman,
- 9:10Speaker 3: such a cool place to play. General Onsale starts Friday,
- 9:13Speaker 3: August 28th at 10 a.m.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Local.
- 9:16Speaker 3: You can win your way in with Jonathan, though, right
- 9:18Speaker 3: here on 107.5 The River at 325 every afternoon with
- 9:19Speaker 3: What's That Sound? It's going to be a great show.
- 9:24Speaker 3: If you know her, then you're on board. I already
- 9:27Speaker 3: know that you are. If you don't know her, you
- 9:28Speaker 3: got to listen to her new album. It just came
- 9:30Speaker 3: out last Friday. Honestly, just so good. It's like the
- 9:34Speaker 3: vibe that you want when you want to chill and
- 9:36Speaker 3: just like drive and listen to music.
- 9:39Speaker 5: It's kind of like that.
- 9:40Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Thank you, Ricky. Good driving music.
- 9:42Speaker 3: Veselka's first location outside of New York is now open
- 9:45Speaker 3: in East Nashville.
- 9:47Speaker 5: It's a Ukrainian restaurant, okay? They're known for their pierogies.
- 9:50Speaker 2: That sounds so good.
- 9:50Speaker 3: They just opened up inside Lakeside Lounge, and the best
- 9:53Speaker 3: part is that they're open late until 2 a.m. It's
- 9:56Speaker 3: so hard to find anywhere here in Nashville that you
- 9:58Speaker 3: can get late-night food at. This is the best news
- 10:01Speaker 3: I've ever heard, okay? Who doesn't love a late-night munchie?
- 10:04Speaker 5: But they are already open, so you can go check
- 10:06Speaker 5: them out whenever you decide you want to check them out.
- 10:08Speaker 3: And Pizza Hut, they have changed their name for football season.
- 10:12Speaker 3: They're dropping the pizza from their name for the next
- 10:14Speaker 3: 25 weeks, and they're going by Hut.
- 10:16Speaker 2: For football season.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Weird.
- 10:18Speaker 3: It's because of, you know, when the call line, hut, yep, line.
- 10:22Speaker 5: Of scrimmage, they go hut. So they're going to be
- 10:24Speaker 5: just called the hut.
- 10:25Speaker 3: They've already updated their social media logos and some of
- 10:27Speaker 3: their locations have football themed signage. Just something to keep
- 10:31Speaker 3: in mind if you get confused at any point and
- 10:32Speaker 3: you're like, I don't, who's, who's hut?
- 10:35Speaker 2: I don't know who this is.
- 10:36Speaker 5: It's Pizza Hut still. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are
- 10:38Speaker 5: the three things you need to know.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky. Here's Justin Bieber. We're getting back into
- 10:42Speaker 2: the music, and we're going to learn together here next.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Zach's Facts. He's got something for us.
- 10:46Speaker 4: It's coming.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Class is in session.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Zach's Facts, brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 10:53Speaker 5: On 107.5 The River.
- 10:55Speaker 6: Did you guys know that Mary-Kate and Ashley are not
- 10:57Speaker 6: actually identical twins?
- 10:59Speaker 4: Yes.
- 10:59Speaker 2: I had no idea.
- 11:01Speaker 6: Even though they look so similar, they're actually fraternal twins,
- 11:03Speaker 6: not identical.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Someone told me this and I thought it was fake, though. Like,
- 11:06Speaker 5: I thought that that was, like, debunked.
- 11:08Speaker 2: No, it's real. They're fraternal, not identical. Are we sure?
- 11:11Speaker 2: Because now Ricky brought up that it might be debunked.
- 11:13Speaker 6: According to my book that my mother got me for
- 11:15Speaker 6: my birthday.
- 11:17Speaker 2: This egg is a fact book. I'm sure, honestly, I
- 11:20Speaker 2: bet they had to fact check it, like, multiple times
- 11:23Speaker 2: to put it in print. Yeah, it's in a book.
- 11:25Speaker 2: You would hope, but.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Who knows?
- 11:27Speaker 2: Well, there's your, hopefully, fact of the day. Thanks, Expo.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 11:32Speaker 3: We've been doing this thing on 107.5 The River called
- 11:35Speaker 3: the Back to Class Arena Pass, okay? We've been doing
- 11:37Speaker 3: it for a while. You had to listen in for
- 11:40Speaker 3: keywords in order to qualify to get tickets to Teddy Swims,
- 11:44Speaker 3: Gracie Abrams, and Sombra. Tickets to all three of those
- 11:47Speaker 3: artists at Bridgestone Arena. We're calling the winner next.
- 11:50Speaker 2: If you entered this, if you did text the keywords,
- 11:53Speaker 2: you might want to keep your phone handy right after
- 11:56Speaker 2: Tame Impala. Look for a phone call. We're going to
- 11:58Speaker 2: call the winner for all three of those shows next.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Big moment, it's 107.5, the river we mentioned a second
- 12:07Speaker 2: ago that we are about to call our winner for
- 12:09Speaker 2: the back-to-class arena pass. Zach, do we have him on
- 12:11Speaker 2: the line? We got the winner on the line, and
- 12:13Speaker 2: I'm so excited.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Joanne in Spring Hill, how are you doing today? Good,
- 12:18Speaker 3: how are you doing? We're doing great. The sun is shining.
- 12:21Speaker 3: It was gorgeous this morning. Did you see the sunrise?
- 12:24Speaker 1: I did not.
- 12:26Speaker 5: Oh, my God, Joanne, it was stunning.
- 12:28Speaker 2: You got to wake up earlier, Joanne.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's cloudy here. No thanks.
- 12:33Speaker 5: She said no thanks.
- 12:34Speaker 3: We're up really early, Joanne, so we have no choice
- 12:37Speaker 3: about the matter.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I bet you guys are.
- 12:40Speaker 5: Do you have anything fun planned today, Joanne? Are you
- 12:42Speaker 5: just going to work?
- 12:43Speaker 2: What's the deal?
- 12:45Speaker 1: Working from home. What do you do? My husband and
- 12:49Speaker 1: I are designers.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Cool. What kind of design?
- 12:53Speaker 1: We do art and framing designs. My husband sells rare prints.
- 13:00Speaker 1: And so we frame those for clients and source them
- 13:02Speaker 1: and find them for them. And we do graphic design
- 13:06Speaker 1: work as well.
- 13:06Speaker 4: I'm impressed.
- 13:07Speaker 2: My wife would murder and divorce me in that order
- 13:11Speaker 2: if we worked together from home all the time. That
- 13:14Speaker 2: would not go well.
- 13:15Speaker 1: You know, there are days. There are days.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Well, Joanne, we're calling you for a very specific reason, okay?
- 13:22Speaker 3: As much as we love talking to you, we are
- 13:24Speaker 3: calling you for a reason.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And I'm excited about that reason.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 13:28Speaker 5: So you already think you know what the reason is.
- 13:30Speaker 5: What do you think it is, Joanne?
- 13:33Speaker 1: Now you put me on the spot, of course, right?
- 13:36Speaker 3: Would it be the Back to Class Arena Pass?
- 13:38Speaker 4: Yes.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Would that be why? That's what I was trying.
- 13:40Speaker 1: My brain was trying to remember the name.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Our boss likes to come up with complicated names for things.
- 13:45Speaker 2: But yes, the Back to Class Arena Pass was that
- 13:47Speaker 2: contest we were doing where we give somebody tickets to
- 13:49Speaker 2: see Teddy Swims, Gracie Abrams, and Sombra. All three shows.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Absolutely yeah absolutely my son is psyched.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Okay well joanne your son's gonna be so psyched because

- 14:17Speaker 6: these shows.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Yeah absolutely it's gonna be a blast Well, congratulations, Joanne.
- 14:21Speaker 3: We appreciate you so much for listening to us and
- 14:23Speaker 3: for hanging out with us because that was the only
- 14:25Speaker 3: way to win the Back to Class Arena Pass, and
- 14:27Speaker 3: it paid off.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it sure did.
- 14:29Speaker 4: I know, right?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Every hour on the 40s, I was there.
- 14:32Speaker 2: You were there. She was ready. That's how you do it, guys.
- 14:36Speaker 2: That's how you do it. It's great to meet you, Joanne. Congratulations.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Have the best time at these shows.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Thanks so much. You guys are the best.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 14:46Speaker 3: On 107.5 The River.
- 14:49Speaker 5: It's title fight on 107.5 The River.
- 14:50Speaker 3: It's Kevin Mano's game of the day. We got tickets
- 14:53Speaker 3: to see Shabuzy at Ascend Amphitheater September 18th. It's going
- 14:56Speaker 3: to be a phenomenal show because you know he puts
- 14:57Speaker 3: on a great one.
- 14:59Speaker 5: We got two people going head to head for this game.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Yes, we do. We have Elise in Dixon. How are you, Elise?
- 15:04Speaker 6: I am doing great.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Good.
- 15:06Speaker 2: I hope your brain is turned on this morning because
- 15:09Speaker 2: you're going to have to be fast here. Your opponent
- 15:11Speaker 2: is Fatima in Antioch. How are you, Fatima?
- 15:14Speaker 1: I'm doing well.
- 15:15Speaker 4: How are you? Great.
- 15:16Speaker 2: Thank you both for being here. Unfortunately, only one of
- 15:18Speaker 2: you can win. Here is how the game works once
- 15:21Speaker 2: we start playing. I am going to slowly reveal song
- 15:23Speaker 2: titles from one artist. You have to buzz in with
- 15:27Speaker 2: your name. So just shout out your name when you
- 15:29Speaker 2: know who the artist is, okay? You need two out
- 15:31Speaker 2: of three of these to win the tickets.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Okay.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Okay, so Elise, you're going to be yelling Elise, and Fatima,
- 15:35Speaker 2: you're going to be yelling Fatima when you know the answer.
- 15:37Speaker 2: The game starts right now. Beautiful Mistakes. She will be loved.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Fatima.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Fatima.
- 15:49Speaker 6: Maroon 5.
- 15:51Speaker 2: That is Maroon 5.
- 15:52Speaker 5: Yes, ma'am.
- 15:53Speaker 2: One point on the board for Fatima. Elise, how are
- 15:55Speaker 2: you feeling? Let's check in with you. I'm suffering.
- 15:58Speaker 6: I'm not sure why I'm doing this.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I'm ready to get embarrassed.
- 16:05Speaker 4: No, no.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Here we go. You're going to get this one. Keep
- 16:07Speaker 2: your head in the game. If you don't, Fatima walks
- 16:10Speaker 2: away the winner.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Here we go. Sorry.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Speed Demon.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Elise.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Elise.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Is it Justin Bieber?
- 16:19Speaker 2: That is Justin Bieber. Okay.
- 16:21Speaker 4: You're back in it.
- 16:22Speaker 2: You're back in the game. We got ourselves a tie.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Whoever gets this one wins. I'm With You. My Happy Ending.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Girlfriend.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Skater Boy.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Fatima.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Fatima. Avril Lavigne. That's right.
- 16:39Speaker 1: It's Avril Lavigne.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Woo!
- 16:42Speaker 2: Oh, way to go, Fatima. First of all, let's say
- 16:45Speaker 2: goodbye to your wonderful opponent here, Elise. Thank you for calling.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Thank you for playing.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Thanks for having me.
- 16:51Speaker 6: I hope I can do better next time.
- 16:53Speaker 3: Congratulations, Fatima.
- 16:55Speaker 1: You did this.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Enjoy. Elise, you're precious.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Gracious and defeat.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Call back.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Y'all, like, you guys are too exciting and amazing.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Like, I needed this. Have a great day. Oh, that
- 17:06Speaker 5: was so sweet, Elise. We hope you have a phenomenal
- 17:08Speaker 5: day today.
- 17:09Speaker 1: You too. Thank you.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Bye, love.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Call back and play later in the week. Fatima, congratulations.
- 17:14Speaker 2: You're going to see Shaboosie.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Woo! Thank you so much!
- 17:19Speaker 5: Big congrats to you, love. We're going to put you
- 17:21Speaker 5: on hold for just a second. We got to get
- 17:22Speaker 5: your information.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Thank you for playing along with this very intense and
- 17:25Speaker 3: silly game. Thank you so much.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I love y'all, guys.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Aw, we love you.
- 17:30Speaker 4: We love you.
- 17:31Speaker 2: We're going to play the game again tomorrow. Two more
- 17:33Speaker 2: people going head-to-head for these shaboozy tickets. That was a
- 17:36Speaker 2: good one. That was a nail-biter.
- 17:37Speaker 4: It was.
- 17:38Speaker 5: Yeah, you're making me nervous again with these games, Kevin.
- 17:41Speaker 5: I got nauseous.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Three things you need to know.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Here we go just after 8 o'clock. Thank you so
- 17:46Speaker 2: much for starting your Tuesday with us. It's going to
- 17:48Speaker 2: be a great day. Ricky's got those three things presented
- 17:50Speaker 2: by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Kit Harington is joining season two of Harry Potter. Kit
- 17:55Speaker 3: is going to replace Nicholas Holtz as Gilderoy Lockhart in
- 17:58Speaker 3: season two of HBO's Harry Potter series. Nicholas left the
- 18:01Speaker 3: production due to scheduling conflicts and Kit felt like the
- 18:04Speaker 3: right choice. He voiced Lockhart in Audible's Harry Potter audiobooks, which.
- 18:08Speaker 5: Was released last year. So totally makes sense.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Season two of Harry Potter is scheduled to begin filming
- 18:14Speaker 3: this fall ahead of the Christmas premiere of season one.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Kane Browns on Broadway is doing a Shania Twain lookalike
- 18:20Speaker 3: contest tomorrow night.
- 18:22Speaker 2: So cute.
- 18:23Speaker 5: Entry's free.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Everyone is encouraged to dress like their best version of Shania.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Be there at 6 p.m.
- 18:29Speaker 5: In order to be a part of this.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Honestly, just a cute way to get involved and get out,
- 18:33Speaker 3: especially during the week. Embrace the last little bits of
- 18:36Speaker 3: summer that we still get.
- 18:38Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 18:38Speaker 3: It's going to be done before you know it.
- 18:41Speaker 5: So go celebrate.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Go hang out at Kane Brown's tomorrow night and dress
- 18:45Speaker 3: like Shania Twain.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Let's go, girls.
- 18:47Speaker 3: And people are turning to LinkedIn for dating. 22% of
- 18:52Speaker 3: professionals have sent or answered a romantic message on LinkedIn
- 18:56Speaker 3: and 12% successfully sparked a relationship.
- 18:59Speaker 5: That started because of the site.
- 19:01Speaker 3: That may seem like a low number, you know, 22%,
- 19:04Speaker 3: but it's a high number considering the fact that this
- 19:06Speaker 3: is completely against LinkedIn's policy.
- 19:09Speaker 5: They have an anti-flirting policy.
- 19:10Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 19:11Speaker 3: So it's kind of wild that there's that many people
- 19:13Speaker 3: that are doing it, but.
- 19:14Speaker 5: The reason behind it totally makes sense.
- 19:16Speaker 3: They're using it instead of dating sites because of the
- 19:19Speaker 3: fact that LinkedIn profiles are more trustworthy than typical dating
- 19:23Speaker 3: app bios. There's linked verified career histories, education credentials, and
- 19:29Speaker 3: you have clear headshots on LinkedIn.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Oh, this is interesting.
- 19:33Speaker 4: It makes sense.
- 19:33Speaker 5: It totally makes sense.
- 19:34Speaker 3: A lot of the younger generation is going to LinkedIn
- 19:36Speaker 3: instead of the dating apps. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those
- 19:39Speaker 3: are the three things you need to know.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Appreciate you, Ricky. We've got Taylor Swift on the way.
- 19:43Speaker 2: I knew it. I knew you from Taylor is coming
- 19:45Speaker 2: in the set of music here tape mccray as well
- 19:47Speaker 2: both after ariana.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Ricky zach and mano in the morning.
- 19:51Speaker 3: You are part of a fantasy football league this conversation
- 19:54Speaker 3: right here is all for you it's 107.5 the river
- 19:57Speaker 3: one of my favorite things about football season.
- 20:00Speaker 5: Is seeing the insane.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Loser like challenges that they make people do for their
- 20:07Speaker 3: fantasy football leagues when somebody loses. So there's one that's
- 20:10Speaker 3: going viral right now. I don't know if you guys
- 20:11Speaker 3: have seen it. The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
- 20:13Speaker 4: What? Yeah.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Okay, Kevin's seen it. The Very Hungry Caterpillar. This guy
- 20:18Speaker 5: had to dress up as a very hungry caterpillar from
- 20:21Speaker 5: that kid's book.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Great book.
- 20:22Speaker 4: And eat.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Everything that's in the book dressed.
- 20:26Speaker 1: As the caterpillar.
- 20:27Speaker 2: That's iconic. One piece of chocolate cake, one pickle, one sausage.
- 20:33Speaker 5: Absolutely amazing.
- 20:35Speaker 2: It's insane, though.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Like the idea that somebody sat down and said, this
- 20:38Speaker 3: is what we're going to do is the punishment.
- 20:40Speaker 2: So good.
- 20:41Speaker 5: It's fascinating to me.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 20:43Speaker 5: And I think every year they're getting more creative.
- 20:45Speaker 2: If you have one you want to share with us, 615-737-9107.
- 20:48Speaker 2: A few that I like. This one's innocent, but the
- 20:51Speaker 2: loser has to be the league's Uber driver for one night.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Just take everybody else wherever they want to go. I
- 20:56Speaker 2: like that. Let the rest of the league choose a
- 20:58Speaker 2: haircut for you.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 21:00Speaker 2: That's a bad idea.
- 21:01Speaker 4: That's bad.
- 21:02Speaker 2: That's horrifying. And then this one I like a lot.
- 21:05Speaker 2: The loser has to write and illustrate a children's book
- 21:07Speaker 2: called The Little Boy Who Was Bad at Fantasy Football.
- 21:10Speaker 6: Okay.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Read it out loud at the next draft. I love
- 21:13Speaker 2: that one.
- 21:13Speaker 5: That one is also phenomenal. I saw a few on here, too,
- 21:17Speaker 5: if you need some ideas. Take the SAT. I think
- 21:20Speaker 5: that's great. Have someone take the.
- 21:22Speaker 2: SAT all over again. Your brain would explode.
- 21:24Speaker 5: It will make your brain explode for sure. Go trick-or-treating
- 21:28Speaker 5: during any month except October. this woman says.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Play a random musical instrument that you don't know how
- 21:35Speaker 3: to play in public and you cannot stop until people
- 21:38Speaker 3: donate at least $ 20.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Oh my God. Have you heard of the grocery store gala?
- 21:43Speaker 4: No.
- 21:44Speaker 2: So apparently you wear like.
- 21:45Speaker 6: Full formal wear and you go to the grocery store.
- 21:49Speaker 6: So it could be like a tux or a prom
- 21:50Speaker 6: dress and you have to go to the grocery store
- 21:52Speaker 6: in like your prom dress.
- 21:53Speaker 2: And I love that.
- 21:54Speaker 3: They're so just like harmless and silly, but they're still humiliating.
- 21:58Speaker 3: And that's what makes a perfect... A perfect punishment for
- 22:01Speaker 3: your fantasy football league.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning on 107.5 The River.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I want to go on record.
- 22:07Speaker 3: Here and say that while I did find today's Daily
- 22:10Speaker 3: Double Tap on 107.5 The River, I do not agree
- 22:15Speaker 3: with these two lunatics that this is me.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I mean, it's just very fitting that it was in
- 22:19Speaker 2: your algorithm, so..
- 22:22Speaker 5: Because I like funny things.
- 22:23Speaker 2: It wasn't in my algorithm.
- 22:23Speaker 5: And it's funny.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Every day about this time, we play some audio from
- 22:26Speaker 2: a video. It is the Daily Double Tap on the River.
- 22:29Speaker 2: This one, handpicked by Ricky, represents Ricky. Here we go.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Let me tell you something.
- 22:34Speaker 5: You may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm
- 22:37Speaker 5: going to promise you this one thing. If I'm not
- 22:39Speaker 5: your cup of tea, you know what I am going
- 22:41Speaker 5: to be? Your cup of gasoline, everything going on fire. Clothes, houses, you,
- 22:47Speaker 5: and your car.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Pick and choose, buddy.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Pick and choose.
- 22:52Speaker 1: I'm going to be your cup of tea or your
- 22:54Speaker 1: cup of gasoline.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I love the pick and choose thing. That's up to you, baby.
- 23:00Speaker 3: I just thought he was funny, guys. I don't think
- 23:03Speaker 3: it's any way, shape, or form me as a person.
- 23:05Speaker 2: It's the little boy version of you. I will say,
- 23:09Speaker 2: to be completely honest, it's the old you. I don't
- 23:12Speaker 2: know if it's marriage or just getting a little bit older,
- 23:15Speaker 2: but you're mellowing.
- 23:16Speaker 4: Out a bit.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Wow, thanks, Kev.
- 23:19Speaker 5: No one's ever said.
- 23:20Speaker 2: That to me. Zach, do you agree or no? No,
- 23:23Speaker 2: absolutely not. She is still half gasoline.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning. On 107.5 The River.
