- 1:25SPEAKER_04: We also talk about the news and about the LSD awards, but mainly Brendan fucks off to America.
- 1:31SPEAKER_04: Enjoy Wild Last.
- 1:37SPEAKER_04: Hey guys, it's my final episode.
- 1:39SPEAKER_04: I'm fucking off to uh to America.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: See you never episode eight of Let's Stick Together, brought to you by Y One.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: We've got everyone in the everyone in the Zoom call.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: You're back.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I don't think me and Brendan are gonna be as bitchy as he was to us when we miss episodes.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: Because we've got quite an emotional emotional moment today, is that because of Brendan's new life, we call it new life, he's he's he's moving across the USA, he's taking a break from the podcast.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: We don't know if it's a full exit or a break, or we don't we're not quite sure, but we're gonna do an emotional uh farewell to him, and we'll do a little homage to him in this episode.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: But firstly, Yupe, how are you?
- 2:31SPEAKER_04: I'm good.
- 2:33SPEAKER_04: I'm really good.
- 2:35SPEAKER_04: The season has finished.
- 2:37SPEAKER_04: Um big shock, we did not make the playoffs.
- 2:42SPEAKER_04: Like still, even though we were four points down the final week, I still thought we could make it.
- 2:47SPEAKER_04: Um we didn't.
- 2:50SPEAKER_04: Um, it's uh been a been a been a been a tough season.
- 2:54SPEAKER_04: Not the way we wanted it to end, but um as always next year, right Philip?
- 2:59SPEAKER_04: How are you?
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm fine.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Before well, yeah, we can get on to that in a second about the playoffs and how I am.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: But first of all, Brendan, how are you?
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: You're in your your mum and dad's house, you're packed up.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: Is that is that correct?
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, pretty much.
- 3:14SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, I'm good.
- 3:16SPEAKER_02: I'm good.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: Apprehensive, good.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: I want to hear more about Yupe's playoffs, though, to be honest, or like playoff run attempts to get there, what's happened since, why I wasn't on last week.
- 3:27SPEAKER_02: Come on, give us some more.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: Brendan's got uncomfortable because um we started talking about him already.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: So we can move to you.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: I did it was the first note I made.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: You know, you doubled down a few times, you didn't make the playoffs.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: We've got our confirmed lineups, Yupe.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: Um, I guess we can very quickly talk about that before we talk about the woes of of your season.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: Um, because Pinake, uh SCHC, Amsterdam, and Den Boss are all playing in the women's playoffs and in the men's playoffs.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: It is now Campong, Blumendal, and Amsterdam and Den Boss uh in the in the top four.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: You how does I guess that doesn't sound that good when you even hear that?
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: You know, which one are you most bitter about hearing?
- 4:12SPEAKER_04: Um really honest them boss, yeah.
- 4:18SPEAKER_04: Uh they're the other team in Brabant.
- 4:21SPEAKER_04: Um, in all fairness, there's there's not a lot of teams I like which I don't hate in uh the Netherlands.
- 4:27SPEAKER_04: Uh so that's like I don't think they'd even take it personal, but I fucking hate them boss as well.
- 4:33SPEAKER_04: Um bunch of fuck tarts.
- 4:35SPEAKER_04: Um yeah, no, no, they did like to be honest.
- 4:40SPEAKER_04: I think the four that reached playoffs deservedly reached playoffs, then boss was really good all year.
- 4:45SPEAKER_04: They were very I think they have a and I don't think I know they have a new corner guy, a Timo Boos.
- 4:50SPEAKER_04: He's not really new, new, but he's really stepped onto the stage.
- 4:53SPEAKER_04: He's he's the top scorer of the Hope class.
- 4:55SPEAKER_04: Um, so yeah, who would have thought a good corner would make you successful?
- 5:00SPEAKER_04: Uh I didn't, but uh hey ho.
- 5:03SPEAKER_04: Uh Amsterdam, I think, played the most fun hockey this year.
- 5:07SPEAKER_04: They were very uh with the Krasim brothers uh Floris Minnedop.
- 5:10SPEAKER_04: I really I think is right now top three, maybe even better, uh in the hoofklasse.
- 5:16SPEAKER_04: Uh the way he's playing the last couple of months.
- 5:18SPEAKER_04: So I think he's doing really well.
- 5:20SPEAKER_04: Will be a fun matchup, those two together.
- 5:21SPEAKER_04: And uh yeah, good old uh Campong and Blumenau.
- 5:24SPEAKER_04: Uh like Blumenau really annoys me because they didn't really play that good hockey this year and still ended up on top.
- 5:32SPEAKER_04: They were a bit like I think they're quite quite similar to you, to all Georgians.
- 5:36SPEAKER_04: Like it's not very impressive what they do, as in you play against them, and you always have like a feeling, oh, really could have won this game.
- 5:44SPEAKER_04: And I think every team who played against them thought, oh, they were not that good, but you always end up losing, so they're they are that good.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: Um and if you if you had um if you had a hundred euros in your in your pocket and you as normal and walking into the ball, you've got a betting problem.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: And what you're walking into a betting shop, who you who you're putting it on having played each team twice?
- 6:06SPEAKER_04: So I think the uh that's a good one.
- 6:10SPEAKER_04: I think the winner will come out of the first or the the first semi-final, which is Pampung Blumenao, which is an easy bet.
- 6:17SPEAKER_04: I think as in it's like a like a predictable bet.
- 6:20SPEAKER_04: I think they're they're the most experienced teams.
- 6:22SPEAKER_04: Uh Amsterdam made a huge leap almost relegated, not almost relegated, but played for a relegation spot last year and are now third or second.
- 6:31SPEAKER_04: Then Boss has made the playoffs once in the last 25 years, so they're not that experienced in that in that area.
- 6:36SPEAKER_04: So I think easy prediction will be one of those two will win.
- 6:41SPEAKER_04: And then I think like the it's it it's uh they're not the most informed team by far, they're not playing that well, but it would be so typically of kompung to end up winning this shit.
- 6:53SPEAKER_04: They have like they have I think they've they've they've they've an insane goalie, they have a really good corner, they're in every line, they have like two or three international players which are really really good.
- 7:02SPEAKER_04: It would be so kampong to end up winning this shit.
- 7:05SPEAKER_04: Play the play play a horrible EHL, not like don't play well all season, and when they have to, they're there.
- 7:12SPEAKER_04: So if I had to put money, I would put it on kampong, uh, and but I would put like 60 euros on kamp and 40 euros on Blumenel.
- 7:21SPEAKER_04: Uh and uh yeah, I like it.
- 7:23SPEAKER_04: That would be good.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: I thought um very quickly, just to finish up the the Dutch side of the news, is that I thought it was incredible what Rotterdam did for Hertzburgers, your own Hertzberg's farewell.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: Um again, like go on to Instagram, look on Rotterdam or Hockey NL's uh posts, but they they did a ride to the game in typical Dutch fashion, go on your bike, ride to the game.
- 7:49SPEAKER_01: I think they put up banners for him, uh they retired his number, they named one of the stands after him, did a guard of honour from two minutes from time.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Um and and it's all completely justified because he's played something like 21 seasons for for Rotterdam.
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: 22 sorry, 22 seasons for Rotterdam.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: Um he scored 453 goals for Rotterdam in his career, 383 in the Hoofklaster, just outrageous stats, just an unbelievable servant of the game.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: I think he's done a lot for hockey on and off the pitch, like with his YouTube stuff.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: I think it's it's it's it's pretty good and and he's really like pushed pushed stuff on, and it's really nice to see someone actually get celebrated in a way that they actually should.
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: Um yeah, guys, what did you did you make of it?
- 8:39SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like you said, rightfully so.
- 8:41SPEAKER_04: I think uh well one of the best strikers uh and the whole class has ever seen.
- 8:48SPEAKER_04: Um yeah, and just played 22 years for Rotterdam, and I think uh uh uh like like you know, Phil, it's it's uh love for a club is something that that does object.
- 9:04SPEAKER_04: No, but playing 22 years for the same club, uh, and and uh like you could always write you can still the guy is 51 or something, I don't know how old he is, but you could still write him down for 20 goals a season at least, and then yeah, okay, he has a corner and he takes strokes.
- 9:21SPEAKER_04: I don't give a shit.
- 9:22SPEAKER_04: Taking a stroke is really hard.
- 9:24SPEAKER_04: Scoring a pellet corner is really hard, and he does it.
- 9:26SPEAKER_04: He scores this year again, 20 goals plus.
- 9:30SPEAKER_04: So I think it's and I think it's really good the way Rottenham did it.
- 9:32SPEAKER_04: I think they really made him uh the center of attention, did everything they could to make him feel uh um yeah, appreciated, and um yeah, rightfully so.
- 9:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I thought it's I thought it was seriously cool.
- 9:46SPEAKER_02: I think it's you're point it's the loyalty bit is most times it kind of just you get something small.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: They actually went out and made a big effort, a lot of time for it, a lot of time for it, yeah.
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: And also that record of goals is ridiculous.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: Like that is actually ridiculous.
- 10:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I think I only have like 20 or 425 to go to get to his record, so probably won't make it.
- 10:11SPEAKER_04: Odds are not in my favour, but you never know.
- 10:14SPEAKER_04: 400 453.
- 10:17SPEAKER_04: That's that's insane.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: You want to get on to uh uh you know, just start putting yourself up front next year, you, and see what you can do.
- 10:25SPEAKER_04: I think I could play another 30 seasons in the Hofklasse up front, and I still don't think I would come within 200 goals of him.
- 10:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I back that up.
- 10:34SPEAKER_01: Also, I guess on on other news, um I thought it was also m worth mentioning that uh uh GB um uh amazing, amazing another amazing career has come to an end in Holly Perm Webb.
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: Um she's she's hung up her stick.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: She's uh Olympic gold, Olympic bronze medalist.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: Uh she played 12-13 years for GB.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Um, was was an incredible player.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: And um, yeah, you know, it's a shame that you know they can't celebrate it like they do in in Holland, but but uh she deserves deserves to be celebrated for what she's done.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: Does that sound like a bitchy comment, Brenn?
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: No, I just found it.
- 11:14SPEAKER_02: I was about to make the I was about to make the joke of really happy to see she got the same send-off that Hertzberger got.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: In an Instagram post, and that is it.
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: Fantastic.
- 11:24SPEAKER_02: Fucking shambles.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, okay.
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: Well, now on to the onto the fun stuff to make Brendan cringe.
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: Like I said, it could be Brendan's last episode ever, so we thought we'd do a little do a little homage to Brendan.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: Brendan, like I say, you you you've got a fresh haircut just before we start.
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: You you're clearly packed up, you're going, I think, tomorrow, is that right?
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: You're flying flying to America tomorrow indefinitely, um, until your wedding, of course, which we which will rename remain undisclosed.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: Uh information about yeah, thanks you.
- 11:56SPEAKER_02: Thanks for attending.
- 11:59SPEAKER_01: Um but yeah, are you um first of all are you excited excited for the for the for the next chapter?
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I am.
- 12:07SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm ready.
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: I think that's probably the best way to describe it.
- 12:11SPEAKER_02: I'm kind of sounds really weird, but I'm I'm done with playing, I think, for the time being.
- 12:18SPEAKER_02: I've just the year I've had has been really fun.
- 12:21SPEAKER_02: What do you say?
- 12:22SPEAKER_04: That does sound really weird.
- 12:27SPEAKER_02: Um I just I'm ready for a break and a change.
- 12:30SPEAKER_02: I think is probably the best way to describe it.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and and I guess it I mean, in terms of your year, you've been you've been living half the year in in America, half the year in England, you've tried to do a bowling season, you've tried to, you know, mix your you spin your plates over two different continents, which is always good fun.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: So can you know they shouldn't be sniffed at, that's probably been a fairly tough ask, and now you get to land your two feet in uh in Carolina, North Carolina, I think I've got that right.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: And uh you know, live with live with uh live with Maddie full time, which is which again very exciting for you.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: But what's what's what are you most excited about?
- 13:10SPEAKER_02: Um kind of going into the working world a bit.
- 13:13SPEAKER_02: I think it's gonna be a bit of a novelty having weekends where I'm not playing.
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: I think that's gonna be like the weirdest thing is actually having weekends where you're not having to wait for a 6 pm game or like you've got a 2 pm game and you've got to travel six hours in a fucking minibus to get there.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: Like there's some real enjoyment about not actually having that.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: Um I'm quite looking forward to actually being able to do stuff on Saturdays and Sundays that more sociable rather than necessarily playing.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you could go to basketball games, NFL games, college sport.
- 13:45SPEAKER_02: Well, Duke isn't far away for us, it's like two hours away.
- 13:49SPEAKER_04: Which uh which uh is because North Carolina is like uh South uh South of America, like in South of America or like east, east coast, right?
- 13:59SPEAKER_04: East coast, yeah.
- 14:01SPEAKER_02: It's it's it's uh like close to Florida and it's in between the best way to describe it is in between New York and Florida.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: It's on the east side in the middle.
- 14:11SPEAKER_04: Okay, is there like a cool uh NFL or like a cool NBA team which is in Carolina?
- 14:16SPEAKER_02: You got Charlotte Hornets, you got Lamello Ball, uh you got Panthers, but they're crap, so they're not great to go watch.
- 14:26SPEAKER_02: Panthers are shy, right?
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:29SPEAKER_02: Charlotte FC are probably the best sports team that's around, which is football.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: They've got a few English Trevor Lawrence as well, isn't there?
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: I think the Trevor Lina Panthers are not that bad, to be honest.
- 14:39SPEAKER_02: Trevor Lin Lawrence is at the Jaguars, isn't he?
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: Oh Jaguars, yeah, yeah, I was because yeah, yeah, no, Panthers are shit.
- 14:46SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they are proper shit.
- 14:47SPEAKER_02: They're like Bowden.
- 14:49SPEAKER_02: We're getting we're getting way we're getting sidetracked.
- 14:53SPEAKER_01: Let's bring this back, Brendan.
- 14:54SPEAKER_01: Let's bring this back.
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: Actually, I'll bring you pin.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: What will you miss about Brendan being on the podcast?
- 15:00SPEAKER_04: Someone to shit on, someone who takes shit as well as him, someone who who his and in all fairness, his giggle, like the the the the eight-year-old girl giggle, like oh, miss that one.
- 15:16SPEAKER_04: Um trying to get him to say shit, uh, and and him after eight seasons still being very reluctant in saying shit.
- 15:24SPEAKER_04: Uh, every once in a while when Brendan like stops being politically correct and starts actually saying what he thinks.
- 15:30SPEAKER_04: Um, you guys should know that all the listeners, you guys should know what Brendan says off of Mike, like when when we're not recording like off the record.
- 15:38SPEAKER_04: The guy is the most outrageous guy I've ever met.
- 15:41SPEAKER_04: He's like no one can play hockey, he doesn't like anyone, whatever.
- 15:45SPEAKER_04: He's very but on the ball, he's like very uh politically correct.
- 15:48SPEAKER_04: So um, yeah, I'm gonna miss that a lot.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: I wrote down the same thing, Brand.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: I wrote down like I remember there was like a you were you were tipsy, it was like a drunk episode, you came in, and yeah, you were absolutely gold.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: I think that was one of my favourite episodes.
- 16:02SPEAKER_01: I was thinking all the way back to the start when at any random point, I think even before you, but also when you came, like their moments where you get instantly on the closet.
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: Instantly on the closet, and like just absolutely enjoying their moments, and then the the only other ones is you you put in your gum shield in the sweatband as it was a personal highlight that you decided to let the world know about.
- 16:29SPEAKER_02: So this year I've used the gum shield case for the whole year.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: Hey, congratulations.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: Honestly, I've I'm a changed man.
- 16:36SPEAKER_02: Feedback is welcome.
- 16:39SPEAKER_02: And um, what about you, Brent?
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: What are you gonna miss?
- 16:45SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna miss talking shit.
- 16:48SPEAKER_02: There's something so entertaining about knowing that you say something and someone's got a polarizing opinion, or they're just gonna jump on it straight away and follow you follow suit.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: I think that's like I think we all think relatively similar, but there are points where we're so different that I think it's so funny that we're in a position where we can just say, shut the fuck up, you you're wrong.
- 17:12SPEAKER_02: There's something so like relaxing about being able to do that.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: Um, I am gonna miss it because it is even if I've had a tough day or I'm feeling shy after the end of the episode, whether I'm on the closet or off the closet, I always come off feeling better for it.
- 17:27SPEAKER_02: There's something to be said for that mental health aspect of this podcast, and I never thought I'd say that.
- 17:33SPEAKER_01: I wasn't sure any of our listeners would put that forward as well.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: Is that is that any of us would go away and finish the episode feeling more relaxed?
- 17:40SPEAKER_01: Because I certainly I'd say I'd say 50% of the time I'm thinking that wasn't a good episode, and the other 50% of the time I'm thinking, why the fuck do I do this for two knobbers?
- 17:50SPEAKER_04: But you're forgetting.
- 17:51SPEAKER_04: What was your favorite episode, Bren?
- 17:53SPEAKER_04: Like, what if you look back now?
- 17:55SPEAKER_04: What what was the episode you thought oh that was the best episode?
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: One of my favorite ones was Van Orbal, but mainly because I was late for two minutes and he immediately gave me shit for being late.
- 18:10SPEAKER_02: And I was like, okay, we're and that's when I thought we're relatable, we are relatable people.
- 18:16SPEAKER_02: Um, the best episode has to be when I was tipsy.
- 18:19SPEAKER_02: I think I just let fly for an episode and it felt really good.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: It's a really good question, you the what's your favorite episode?
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: What's yours?
- 18:32SPEAKER_04: The one where uh you just uh where Phil decided not to show up and me and Brennan to do it ourselves.
- 18:38SPEAKER_04: I thought that was an excellent episode.
- 18:42SPEAKER_04: No, I really liked what we did uh FIFA cards, what we did each other's FIFA cards.
- 18:47SPEAKER_04: I think that was our uh like that was our our peak.
- 18:50SPEAKER_04: It went it went all downhill from there, and we're like it's this is like uh like we're doing uh the movie The Hangover 8.
- 18:57SPEAKER_04: Like people are done with us, but we still keep giving them shit.
- 19:02SPEAKER_04: I think Brendan is just the only one to realize that we're we're like we're done.
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: Me and you are hanging on, yeah.
- 19:11SPEAKER_02: Do you know what that is actually a highlight?
- 19:13SPEAKER_02: That's a good one, you when we played Lee Valley, when we played Holland at Lee Valley, and someone turned up with the FIFA cards, printed off, and got us to sign them.
- 19:22SPEAKER_02: That was actually pretty cool.
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: That was one of those moments where you're like, that's actually seriously cool.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: And was that the same time that you got too excited in the photo?
- 19:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you also be honest, because I have a massive knob, mine stood out more.
- 19:41SPEAKER_04: Like twisted, if you look, people go to the picture, you also see Phil's knob, like very clearly.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: I do sorry, that is funny, but I do actually agree, you but I think you've nailed it.
- 19:54SPEAKER_00: That us doing our own FIFA cards of each other and getting so angry at each other was absolutely golden, and we've got to bring that back.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: Maybe yeah, I don't know what that's gonna look like with two of us or or a or an extra guest.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, Brandon.
- 20:08SPEAKER_04: Brendan, like I know you I know you want to fuck off, and I know you don't want to have anything to do with either of us anymore in your life, but uh it would be nice if uh like we're taking applications, right, Phil?
- 20:19SPEAKER_04: People can uh send in an application to replace Brendan.
- 20:23SPEAKER_04: Um, and Brendan will also like you'll help you at least help us find a good replacement for you, right?
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: Oh, 100%.
- 20:29SPEAKER_02: 100%.
- 20:30SPEAKER_04: So the application means like you don't you don't really have to say a lot, you don't have to do a lot, uh you just have to sit there, giggle a bit, and take shit.
- 20:40SPEAKER_04: That's all you have to do.
- 20:41SPEAKER_04: If you like that, please uh send us a direct message via Instagram and we'll take applications.
- 20:48SPEAKER_04: It's a it's a plus if you can like play hockey, but again, Ben also couldn't couldn't really, but also was here, so like you don't have to do a whole lot.
- 20:56SPEAKER_04: Just let us know if you want to join this podcast and we need full-time commitment, and it would be beneficial if we don't live on the other side of the world.
- 21:05SPEAKER_04: Is that a good application, Phil?
- 21:06SPEAKER_04: Do I say it right like that?
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: I think you narrow it.
- 21:10SPEAKER_01: I mean you narrowed it down a lot because any any any applicants who are like actually um would it would would improve the podcast, you've just struck off.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: We don't want to improve.
- 21:27SPEAKER_04: We take we think scrap scrap what I said if you if you feel like you want to join me and Phil, and you also hate Brent, no, if you feel like joining me and Phil, send in come on, join the podcast.
- 21:42SPEAKER_04: We do need commitment.
- 21:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you're also good at social media, that would be a big help.
- 21:49SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 21:50SPEAKER_04: You have some some something to do with social media because Brent, actually, to be honest, you are you're like good in that.
- 21:56SPEAKER_02: Take the comments.
- 21:57SPEAKER_02: Can we discuss the fact that can we discuss the fact that you Told everyone that he's got a massive knot.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: The thing is now, stuff just flies over my head when he talks.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: He started off by calling someone a f like.
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: I mean, it just I think in day-to-day conversation you probably pause at that, but we're sending this out to anyone who wants to listen, and I didn't even blink.
- 22:19SPEAKER_04: What is a f is it like really bad?
- 22:21SPEAKER_04: Uh is it like a really bad thing?
- 22:23SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I think it's quite a bad insult, to be honest.
- 22:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, uh yeah, I think so.
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: I'm not sure it's PC.
- 22:29SPEAKER_02: Still still stand behind what I said.
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: Brendan, who would you most like to see us replace you with?
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Or second question, who would you be most be hurt by?
- 22:43SPEAKER_02: Uh who would I most be hurt by?
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: I don't think I'd be who's got I don't think I'd be hurt by anyone coming in.
- 22:54SPEAKER_04: So you don't mind us asking, you don't mind us asking Mehdi if she wants to be off the podcast?
- 22:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, crack on.
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: Good luck.
- 23:01unknown: Crack on.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: Uh that would to be fair, that would actually be a kick in the balls because we're on the same time zone more than that.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Um uh Tom Grahambush, I think he'd be a good replacement.
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: Um uh who do I actually think would be who do I think would bring do you know what?
- 23:18SPEAKER_02: I would genuinely love it if you got one of the Indian national players on.
- 23:22SPEAKER_02: I think I think the viewership and the listeners would fly through the roof off it as well.
- 23:26SPEAKER_02: Harman Preet, I'd get him in.
- 23:28SPEAKER_02: You've played with him now, Phil.
- 23:29SPEAKER_02: You're Besie mates.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: Surely that's a way in and give him a call.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Didn't think you'd say that, but yeah.
- 23:38SPEAKER_02: Um I'd quite like someone, I'd quite like an Australian Simon Orchard.
- 23:44SPEAKER_02: Get him in.
- 23:44SPEAKER_02: It's now the time.
- 23:46SPEAKER_02: Get him in, ruffle a few feathers.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: Time zone would work as well because he'd be up at 7 30 in the morning, so it would work.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're just answering our own questions for us.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, well fair play to you, Brent.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: Okay, we'll come, we'll come back to that.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: I mean, we're gonna take this feels like I'm shooting you down there, aren't I?
- 24:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, shut up, Brent, you idiot.
- 24:09SPEAKER_02: Get off.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: We are well, we're gonna come back after the break for the main part of the podcast, which is the return of the ever-popular LST awards, which we take very seriously.
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: I think it's the first time I've had actual replies this week from the guys about them actually uh doing some homework, so I'm pretty excited.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: But that is all coming next.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: We're back.
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: Brennan and Yupe are just in the middle of who works harder, who's got a real job.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: This guy's Brendan, it's Brendan.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: It's Brendan.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: But you're Zoom name is Yup Demal Orchitech.
- 24:50SPEAKER_01: So, you know, he's showing off a bit.
- 24:52SPEAKER_01: We're coming up to our like we've already talked about, one of the favourite episodes of the year.
- 24:59SPEAKER_01: Something that's become a a standard thing, which isn't common in Let's Stick Together for us to do a uh uh an episode that is yearly, is our awards, the LST awards.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: Are you both excited?
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: I'm excited.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: I love this day.
- 25:17SPEAKER_04: Really excited.
- 25:18SPEAKER_04: Love it.
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: So we've brought back um some of our awards from last year because they were too good not to do again, and we've added a couple of new ones.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: Um we're gonna start off with some some serious ones and then we're gonna go on to uh the the the funny ones.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna start off very easy.
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: Best player.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: What who are your nominations for the 2024 slash 25 season?
- 25:45SPEAKER_02: I'll let you go first.
- 25:48SPEAKER_04: Um best players.
- 25:52SPEAKER_04: So um I have a I have a couple how how many could we like name?
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: It's not that professional.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: You can name a few.
- 26:00SPEAKER_04: Okay, I want to write down uh Flores Waterbourg.
- 26:05SPEAKER_04: Yeah, uh, I think in the Hofklaser was uh especially second half of the season, I think uh one of the or the best players uh there was.
- 26:15SPEAKER_04: Um like it's tough to judge because there wasn't a whole lot of pro league, there wasn't any big tournaments.
- 26:19SPEAKER_04: Um, so it's tough to like really name.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: Are we using the Olympics here, by the way?
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: Because we obviously haven't done one since the Olympics.
- 26:27SPEAKER_04: Okay, so we use Olympics as well.
- 26:28SPEAKER_04: Okay, then I still okay, we'll do we'll do Olympics.
- 26:30SPEAKER_04: Then I still stand behind Flores Waterbourg.
- 26:32SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he played a really good uh Olympics uh as well.
- 26:37SPEAKER_04: Uh I'm nominating uh he won't win.
- 26:41SPEAKER_04: I hope he doesn't win, but I'm nominating Haman Prit uh uh for the Olympics, uh, because he was uh actually uh he did quite okay there.
- 26:51SPEAKER_04: Um I'm nominating, and I'm very biased, I know, and I'm nominating Artu de Slover.
- 26:58SPEAKER_04: Played with him.
- 26:59SPEAKER_04: I don't think he's had the best season of his life or whatever, but the I'm trading with this guy every week.
- 27:06SPEAKER_04: You can put him at right forth or left back, and I still think he'd be one of the best players in the league.
- 27:10SPEAKER_04: So um nominating Artur de Slover.
- 27:14SPEAKER_04: Um while I'm at it, I'm also nominating uh Zach Wallace.
- 27:20SPEAKER_04: Speaks for itself, I think.
- 27:21SPEAKER_04: Um, and the rest uh I have a couple more, but I'll leave the rest up to you guys.
- 27:27SPEAKER_04: Otherwise, we're nominating 20 guys.
- 27:29SPEAKER_01: So any more, Brent?
- 27:31SPEAKER_02: Uh I've got two to add to that list.
- 27:33SPEAKER_02: I also had uh I also had the Carrot Farmer down, and I also had uh Zach down.
- 27:39SPEAKER_02: Uh Hendricks, I don't think you can overlook the impact he's had on EHL to win it back to back for me is there's something pretty special about that and Hattrick's galore.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: Um and then the only person best player.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: Should we should we should we should we have a most valuable player next to it?
- 27:57SPEAKER_02: I put I put best player slash MVP to bring him into the bracket.
- 28:01SPEAKER_02: Um in terms of his hockey ability, no, but in terms of the impact.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: So no.
- 28:06SPEAKER_02: So it's an argument.
- 28:07SPEAKER_02: Um and then the other one I've got is Hardik saying I thought he had a pretty unreal Olympics um between him and Hyman Prix.
- 28:15SPEAKER_02: I think they were the two standouts for me from India.
- 28:18SPEAKER_02: So my they're my two to add, but really I think probably for me the carrot farmer's probably top of my list.
- 28:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I I only have one to add, and that was um we've already talked about him too much, is Brinkman.
- 28:30SPEAKER_01: I think uh every time I've seen him play, I think he uh he he he he he affects the game, his his abilities to score goals, his abilities to trap every ball, press really well.
- 28:41SPEAKER_01: I think uh just automatically adds him into that conversation and being an Olympic uh goal-winning captain also it's not bad on your on your resume.
- 28:50SPEAKER_01: Pretty good.
- 28:50SPEAKER_01: So you where's your where's your vote going?
- 28:56SPEAKER_04: I'm going with um Florida Waterball.
- 29:02SPEAKER_02: Ren?
- 29:03SPEAKER_02: I'm the same carrot at the top for me.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: He wins.
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: I mean we do this very, very professionally.
- 29:10SPEAKER_01: It is Florest Waterball.
- 29:12SPEAKER_01: That is probably the most professional we've ever done one where we actually took it seriously and we have a we have a we have a winner.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, couldn't agree more.
- 29:18SPEAKER_01: Had an unbelievable Olympics every time I've watched him play.
- 29:20SPEAKER_01: I'm like, he's seriously good.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: He's really, really fast.
- 29:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, is that is that a well-known thing?
- 29:27SPEAKER_04: No, yeah, but he's not he's like um he like gallops, he's like a locomotive, like he's not the quickest on the first meters, but once he gets going, he's like pretty much unstoppable.
- 29:40SPEAKER_04: Uh he's not he's not slow.
- 29:42SPEAKER_02: Why are you laughing so hard, Brent?
- 29:44SPEAKER_02: Rogue's just like he's really fast, and you're like, he's a locomotive.
- 29:47SPEAKER_02: Um my understanding of a locomotive is they're not fucking fast.
- 29:51SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 29:52SPEAKER_04: Like in that we say stone train, like we say, uh like he also like a like inside, yeah.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: You're suddenly like a train enthusiast.
- 30:02SPEAKER_04: You know the gold to look at that.
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: It's the P1347.
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: Oh god, I can't believe it's going through Eindhoven right now.
- 30:11SPEAKER_04: That's such a lovely rock about him.
- 30:14SPEAKER_04: Um yeah, did we miss out?
- 30:17SPEAKER_04: Did we miss out on anyone?
- 30:19SPEAKER_04: Not really, right?
- 30:20SPEAKER_04: Not a Belgian like Slovak, not another Belgian Tom Bone.
- 30:23SPEAKER_04: Sorry, Tom Bone.
- 30:24SPEAKER_04: I want to put Tom Bone next to it.
- 30:25SPEAKER_04: Not that he wins, but he would also be okay.
- 30:27SPEAKER_04: He scored a lot of goals.
- 30:29SPEAKER_04: Yeah, didn't have a great Olympics, but he scored a shit ton of goals, so I would put him also in the in the in the bracket.
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: Honorable mention, nice.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: Um fan favorite.
- 30:43SPEAKER_02: I put one of our own.
- 30:46SPEAKER_02: I put Mr.
- 30:47SPEAKER_02: Damol.
- 30:50SPEAKER_02: Fan favourite, yeah.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: I think you're loved by people.
- 30:57SPEAKER_02: I don't know why, because you're an arsehole, but but I think people quite like the fact that especially in the UK, mate, your name pops up far too often to my liking.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: Is that just around you to wind you up?
- 31:13SPEAKER_02: I don't know if it is or it isn't, but a lot of people have said they really appreciate Yupe on the podcast, and it's and it and I get it annoyingly.
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: I get it.
- 31:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, nice.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: Uh Yupe, have you got any uh well you can have any comments on that?
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: But have you got any nominations yourself?
- 31:33SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no, I'm not I want uh I want to comment uh on it.
- 31:37SPEAKER_04: Like for me, a fan favorite is like so he's not really is is is it doesn't mean like he's not really appreciated by his peers, but he's like appreciated by the crowd, because I think because that's like my and do we also include women?
- 31:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 31:54SPEAKER_04: Okay, so because we didn't name any women in by best player or whatever, but okay.
- 31:58SPEAKER_04: Is that the bar?
- 31:59SPEAKER_02: Let's leave that one.
- 32:00SPEAKER_04: Yeah, okay, but like I think like Yibi Yans is like a fan favorite, like everyone uh like uh like gets a heart on on like slides off their chair whenever she's named.
- 32:11SPEAKER_04: So uh uh I think she's like a fan uh fan favorite.
- 32:15SPEAKER_02: Can't argue with that.
- 32:17SPEAKER_04: I think Hammer Piet is also a fan favorite, as in every time someone names him, it's uh it's uh it's also uh I think I I I'd expect Brandon you'd name uh van Albul as well.
- 32:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah, at least you are a fan of his, and he's just fancy person in the world, so just a good human being, yeah.
- 32:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, lot of time for that.
- 32:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but he also like I wouldn't say he's a fan favorite, I would say he's probably underappreciated.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: Like and the two I had was Yibi Jansen, because I think she has that like like what you're saying, like the aura, when she walks onto a pitch, people are like, Oh, that's Yibby Hansen.
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: The other one I have was a guy play with in Sorma, which is Nicholas Keenan, because I think he is a fan favourite, he is a he is a popular guy, and I think whenever you get onto the pitch and he does his annoying skill where he lifts the ball into the air and people are like screaming, they love that shit, don't they?
- 33:18SPEAKER_04: Joghurt Khan.
- 33:20SPEAKER_04: When he used to spin all the time, yeah.
- 33:22SPEAKER_02: Jogh Khan, also a fan favourite.
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 33:26SPEAKER_01: Another really good one.
- 33:28SPEAKER_02: I think you know your put your point about Van Orbal.
- 33:31SPEAKER_02: I think when you play with players like him, Brinkman, players that are technically so good that I think when you've played at a higher level, you really do appreciate.
- 33:40SPEAKER_02: I think that goes underappreciated in the common for the common player that doesn't necessarily know the high level of skill that it takes to do what they do.
- 33:49SPEAKER_02: Do you know what I mean?
- 33:52SPEAKER_02: I think that's where they get underappreciated.
- 33:54SPEAKER_02: Damn like keener like players who like are so technically good, but duh dehers, like people like that, where they're just so technically good, they kind of go under the radar a bit.
- 34:06SPEAKER_02: Whereas when you play with them, almost I hate to say it almost like David Ames, the glass the original glass man himself, that kind of like level of basics is one of those things that I think as a hockey player we appreciate, but I don't necessarily think it gets appreciated through a TV screen.
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: We've got so we've got down Nicholas Keenan, Yup Demol, Yibi Hansen, Harman Preet, Van Obal, and Yorick Crohn.
- 34:31SPEAKER_02: I think Yibi, probably for me.
- 34:34SPEAKER_02: Looking at that list.
- 34:35SPEAKER_02: Yibi, 100%.
- 34:37SPEAKER_01: Agree.
- 34:38SPEAKER_01: Okay, congratulations, Yibi Hansen.
- 34:41SPEAKER_01: Friend of the podcast, wins fan favourite of the year.
- 34:44SPEAKER_01: Okay, on to um one of our unbiased, by the way, yeah.
- 34:49SPEAKER_04: Floors Waterbourg, Yibi Yanser.
- 34:52SPEAKER_04: Never had anything to do with the uh with the podcast, both won.
- 34:55SPEAKER_04: How cool.
- 34:56SPEAKER_04: Van Oval's Best Ginger.
- 35:01SPEAKER_01: Hey Brendan, you named it before I got here.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: Next next category, one of our favourite categories, always, and Yupe's already got his head in his hands, it's best ginger.
- 35:13SPEAKER_01: So we already know what's coming.
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: On the nominations, it's Yup Demol.
- 35:19SPEAKER_01: He's the first nomination, he is our favourite ginger.
- 35:22SPEAKER_01: Whether he's in denial or not, he's our favourite.
- 35:24SPEAKER_01: But we're not biased here at Let's Dig Together, so we've got to get other nominations in.
- 35:27SPEAKER_01: Brendan, who's the second nomination?
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: Jack Waller.
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: He's probably last year's last year's winner, Jack Waller.
- 35:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, uh, I've got I've got a dark horse.
- 35:37SPEAKER_02: Matthew Dawson.
- 35:39SPEAKER_01: Matthew Dawson the Australian.
- 35:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's ginger.
- 35:42SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: Stubby, he's lost his finger.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: He's lost, he's lost his finger, hasn't he?
- 35:47SPEAKER_02: He has indeed.
- 35:48SPEAKER_02: Has indeed.
- 35:49SPEAKER_02: Um trying to think if there's any more gingers.
- 35:53SPEAKER_02: Paige Gillett plays for the GB Women.
- 35:56SPEAKER_02: She's a new edition this year.
- 35:58SPEAKER_02: She's a debutant this year into the awards.
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: I wish, I wish we were on YouTube so people could see Yupe's face right now.
- 36:05SPEAKER_00: He is sating nothing but really miserable for the last 30 seconds.
- 36:11SPEAKER_02: Would you say Vanessa Blockmans?
- 36:13SPEAKER_02: Would she appear?
- 36:13SPEAKER_02: I'd say she's relatively ginger.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: You what's your take on that?
- 36:19SPEAKER_02: As the official adjudicator, as the umpire.
- 36:27SPEAKER_04: I choose to take uh take uh to sit to sit this award out.
- 36:32SPEAKER_02: Bill, both in agreement.
- 36:33SPEAKER_02: Yep wins best ginger.
- 36:35SPEAKER_01: No, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
- 36:36SPEAKER_01: I also want to put Tys Bam's in.
- 36:38SPEAKER_01: Uh OR teammate of Yupe.
- 36:41SPEAKER_01: Bukard.
- 36:42SPEAKER_01: Pardon?
- 36:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:43SPEAKER_02: Bocard, yeah.
- 36:45SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 36:46SPEAKER_02: Another recent retiree.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, congratulations.
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: Oh, yep, yon.
- 36:52SPEAKER_01: No, he's not, he's not ginger.
- 36:54SPEAKER_04: He has the same colour hair as me.
- 36:55SPEAKER_04: Yep, yonser.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: He's not ginger, man.
- 36:58SPEAKER_04: Jogit Cohn also has the same colour hair as me.
- 37:01SPEAKER_04: Uh you're not blonde, mate.
- 37:04SPEAKER_04: Justin, Justin Block also has the same colour hair as me.
- 37:07SPEAKER_04: You're not blonde, you're in this award.
- 37:10SPEAKER_04: Fucking Nick Benderek has the same colour hair as me.
- 37:13SPEAKER_01: Like right.
- 37:15SPEAKER_01: Um, none of them are gingers, none of them get nominated.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: Um, I I wanna Brent, who who you who should vote for?
- 37:22SPEAKER_01: Just so we finish this off.
- 37:26SPEAKER_01: I don't I'm not sure, you know.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: I think if we're talking like real real gingerness, obviously you doesn't do well.
- 37:33SPEAKER_02: He's or Gannon might win it, you know.
- 37:36SPEAKER_01: Decent, but I think in terms of performance throughout the year, like Olympic gold winning it, you know, he's had a good season for OR.
- 37:46SPEAKER_01: I think it's gotta be you.
- 37:50SPEAKER_04: You know what?
- 37:50SPEAKER_04: You know what?
- 37:51SPEAKER_04: Um with you, budge.
- 37:56SPEAKER_04: I'm fucking like I don't want to be no one, no, I'm not gonna you get off the closet.
- 38:04SPEAKER_04: You know what?
- 38:04SPEAKER_04: Fine, name me, do me as best ginger, fine.
- 38:08SPEAKER_02: I'll couldn't agree more.
- 38:10SPEAKER_02: Couldn't agree more, Phil.
- 38:10SPEAKER_02: I've ignored exactly what you said.
- 38:12SPEAKER_02: Couldn't agree more, mate.
- 38:13unknown: Right.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: Next award is no other winner.
- 38:16SPEAKER_01: Next award.
- 38:17SPEAKER_01: Um content creator.
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: We can't call them influencer anymore.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: Apparently, they get they get bothered by that.
- 38:24SPEAKER_01: We're looking for uh the best content hockey creator.
- 38:28SPEAKER_01: Any nominations?
- 38:31SPEAKER_04: The best influencer.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: I can give my I can give my three.
- 38:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you give yours three, Phil.
- 38:39SPEAKER_01: So again, I I went for Hendrix just because like he was in the sell your soul category.
- 38:45SPEAKER_01: I think he he's he's got on to the the creation of of content.
- 38:49SPEAKER_01: Um generally happy to put himself out there a lot.
- 38:53SPEAKER_01: I put in what now Tim uh did did an amazing work at the hockey one.
- 38:59SPEAKER_01: I put in um David Ames photography, another fate, another, another fair shout at him is doing some unbelievable stuff uh with the GB men and women at the moment.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: Um, and lastly, I put in Matt Ramshaw from the GB men's team, just generally generally putting out hockey content.
- 39:24SPEAKER_04: I'll give you the first for nominating David Ames.
- 39:28SPEAKER_04: I also want to nominate Anna Fainendell.
- 39:31SPEAKER_01: Great nomination.
- 39:35SPEAKER_02: Uh I'm gonna I'm gonna say Dirk Mark Graaff, one of the German content creators, he's elite, I think.
- 39:42SPEAKER_02: Um he's very, very good.
- 39:44SPEAKER_02: And the other one is hockey focus.
- 39:46SPEAKER_02: I think they've kind of come into their own this year from a content point of view.
- 39:49SPEAKER_02: I think they've been pretty brilliant, uh, especially in England, but also their EHL coverage was actually really cool.
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: Oh, last one, James, James Budgeon from uh who who does some really nice slow-mo stuff.
- 40:01SPEAKER_01: If you I mean, check out all the people we're talking about, they've they've got good pages.
- 40:06SPEAKER_04: And the and the MMF NMF and M M M F NMF hockey?
- 40:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: Friend of Friend of Y1.
- 40:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 40:20SPEAKER_04: He does quite a lot of hockey shit, right?
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: Does does some awesome stuff.
- 40:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, really, what we're doing here is a nice job for people.
- 40:27SPEAKER_01: If you do, if you're not seeing enough hockey on Instagram, look at all these people, it's good stuff.
- 40:32SPEAKER_01: Uh, who would you you are you back?
- 40:34SPEAKER_01: Are you back with us now?
- 40:35SPEAKER_01: Have you recovered?
- 40:36SPEAKER_01: Do you wanna do you want to choose a winner?
- 40:37SPEAKER_04: Pick Anna Veyndal.
- 40:39SPEAKER_04: She makes lovely pictures, really good at a job, makes really cool, uh, especially what she does a lot for Amsterdam hockey.
- 40:45SPEAKER_04: I think she's uh really good at her job.
- 40:47SPEAKER_04: So pick Anna Veendal.
- 40:50SPEAKER_02: Uh I'm gonna I'm gonna go with what now Tim.
- 40:52SPEAKER_02: I think he's what he's done for hockey one, especially in particular the Melbourne sides, I think is I think is a pretty unbelievable job considering with what 12-hour time difference and God knows how many thousands of miles away to see the amount of content that he produced.
- 41:07SPEAKER_02: I think it's pretty sick.
- 41:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: I'm probably just just because it's not as biased, I'm gonna go for what now, Tim, with Brendan, because then we then we seem like we're not completely completely biased.
- 41:20SPEAKER_01: So and he does some great stuff.
- 41:21SPEAKER_01: So congratulations, what now, Tim.
- 41:22SPEAKER_01: You are the winner of content creator of the year at LST.
- 41:26SPEAKER_01: Next next category, one of the favourites.
- 41:30SPEAKER_01: It's he's a cock, but he's our cock.
- 41:36SPEAKER_02: I fucking love this award.
- 41:39SPEAKER_01: I've got an easy first nomination.
- 41:41SPEAKER_01: It's uh Henry Croft, it's the new guy in uh in GB.
- 41:45SPEAKER_01: Um played for Beaston this year.
- 41:49SPEAKER_01: Basically, you played against him for a few years, thought he is the biggest wanker I've ever met.
- 41:53SPEAKER_01: Uh have met him um this year, absolutely lovely bloke, couldn't have more time for him.
- 41:59SPEAKER_01: What a guy he is.
- 42:00SPEAKER_01: Um, but you definitely want him on your team because he's gonna wind everyone up and bosh them around and smash the ball through him.
- 42:11SPEAKER_04: Who have you got to go, telco?
- 42:19SPEAKER_04: Um yeah, biggest cock out of all.
- 42:23SPEAKER_04: I think uh hockey wise the best player uh out of all cocks.
- 42:29SPEAKER_01: He does uh he does judo.
- 42:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and I genuinely love him.
- 42:33SPEAKER_04: Taekwondo, motherfucker.
- 42:35SPEAKER_04: Um yeah, so I think uh him he's uh he's a yeah cock.
- 42:43SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I think I I only came up with him because I think he's like the epitome of it.
- 42:47SPEAKER_04: He's really he's really our cock.
- 42:49SPEAKER_04: We love him.
- 42:51SPEAKER_04: I get that everyone hates him, like who's not in with him in the team.
- 42:54SPEAKER_04: Like I I love him to death.
- 42:56SPEAKER_04: He's an amazing guy.
- 42:57SPEAKER_01: Really good nomination.
- 42:58SPEAKER_01: Brendan, any others?
- 42:59SPEAKER_02: Uh I had Keener down mainly because of just theatrics, but I think you I think I think you kind of I think you hit the nail on the head.
- 43:08SPEAKER_02: I think if there was if there was someone that you would genuinely have the award built, as in like if you had a someone on that award at the top of it that would be handed down for generations, it would be Duco, mainly in his goal celebration pose, or giving it full beans to a goalkeeper in the grill after scoring a shootout to win an Olympic final, you can't hand it to the bloke.
- 43:30SPEAKER_01: He could be like he could be as close to it becoming his award, you know, like the Duco Award.
- 43:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like it's like if next year we could get there.
- 43:39SPEAKER_01: So congratulations to Duco, winner of Cock, but he's our cock at L St.
- 43:45SPEAKER_01: Um next month, Glassman.
- 43:48SPEAKER_01: Come to Brendan first.
- 43:50SPEAKER_01: Who should who should Glassman nominations?
- 43:52SPEAKER_02: Got two down.
- 43:53SPEAKER_02: Uh one, a friend, a good friend of ours in Mr.
- 43:57SPEAKER_02: Goodfield, who is he's been holding on.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: For a long time and finally got himself sorted out and has spent most of the year on the sideline.
- 44:04SPEAKER_02: And the other one is one of Yupe's people that he will no doubt talk about as substage, uh Dehus.
- 44:10SPEAKER_02: I feel he's a bit of a glass man now.
- 44:12SPEAKER_01: Are you just reading my my nominations here?
- 44:14SPEAKER_01: If you just gone out to the sheets and just reading my nominations.
- 44:17SPEAKER_02: No, I've read my and I've not even looked at the sheets.
- 44:26SPEAKER_01: We have sheets.
- 44:27SPEAKER_01: Don't talk shit, mate.
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: Um they're my two big nominations.
- 44:34SPEAKER_02: The two glassmen that you thought were like scathing, get like getting through unscathed, and then unfortunately have hit the hit the hit the 30s hard.
- 44:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, same for me.
- 44:46SPEAKER_01: You any uh any additionals?
- 44:49SPEAKER_04: The glass man is uh Tim Hetzbrug.
- 44:52SPEAKER_04: Oh, that's such a great shout.
- 44:56SPEAKER_04: I think at one point was the biggest talent and uh actually was up there uh it's like uh one of the next big things.
- 45:03SPEAKER_04: And um yeah, kinda kind of I think his knee left him down a bit.
- 45:09SPEAKER_04: I do think this is like a really shit award, to be honest.
- 45:12SPEAKER_04: Last man, like it was fun making making jokes out of Brandon and and David, but like it's really shit.
- 45:19SPEAKER_04: Like knock on wood, I've never really been that injured, and I feel like this one is uh yeah, they can't really help it.
- 45:26SPEAKER_04: Like Jonas really has trouble, really has shit shit knees.
- 45:31SPEAKER_04: So like I think out of the players who are nominated, he's the best, like the best player.
- 45:36SPEAKER_04: So I would give it to him.
- 45:37SPEAKER_04: But he's like, yeah, it's really shit.
- 45:39SPEAKER_04: It's not an award you want to win, right?
- 45:40SPEAKER_04: Like you I'd rather I'd rather win favorite gender than I'd win uh glass man.
- 45:45SPEAKER_01: You've you've really changed your tune, you're becoming all empathetic and stuff.
- 45:49SPEAKER_02: It's because it's because Jonas is gonna win the award, that's why.
- 45:52SPEAKER_04: You know what?
- 45:53SPEAKER_04: Um I I am a really empathetic uh person, Philip.
- 45:57SPEAKER_04: Uh I do care about people.
- 45:59SPEAKER_04: Uh so don't make it out like I don't give a shit about anyone.
- 46:02SPEAKER_04: I'm just very selective in who I give a shit about.
- 46:06SPEAKER_02: Is the sassy's responsible get Jonas wins?
- 46:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean I I really wanted to give it to Gooders.
- 46:13SPEAKER_01: So if you don't want to give it to Jonas, I'll happily pass it on to Goodis.
- 46:17SPEAKER_04: I think Jonas needs some positive feedback, so give it to uh to uh uh Goodfield.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he beat me and we got into a a decent, decent in the final uh a couple of weeks ago.
- 46:28SPEAKER_01: He he me and him were going at each other in typical fashion as as uh coffee co-owners and we can't deal with each other on the pitch at all.
- 46:37SPEAKER_01: We then did a uh coffee event three days later.
- 46:40SPEAKER_01: Took two minutes for one of us to turn around and be like, We mates again?
- 46:43SPEAKER_01: Be like, yeah, we're mates again make some coffee today.
- 46:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: So good as congratulations, you know.
- 46:49SPEAKER_01: You're the glass man.
- 46:50SPEAKER_01: Three back operations.
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: Let's go.
- 46:53SPEAKER_01: Um this is an interesting new one.
- 46:57SPEAKER_01: Worst loser.
- 47:04SPEAKER_02: I've had a year of losing, so I've got to be careful with this.
- 47:08SPEAKER_04: Uh I want to nominate uh Fulus Waterbuch.
- 47:13SPEAKER_04: He's a terrible loser because he's also with Blumenau not really used to losing.
- 47:18SPEAKER_04: Um yeah, he's a terrible loser.
- 47:23SPEAKER_04: Terrible! It's also when I play against him and I lose he loses against me.
- 47:27SPEAKER_04: It's it's probably also because we know each other too well and we get out we we're we get under under each other's skin very easily, and he really can't handle it.
- 47:35SPEAKER_04: Uh but he's terrible, can't stress his enough as a loser.
- 47:41SPEAKER_04: Um I also feel who uh uh who is uh uh a terrible loser.
- 47:48SPEAKER_04: Is Auti van Doren is also not the best loser?
- 47:52SPEAKER_01: Okay, not some big names, nice.
- 47:54SPEAKER_04: I don't know if he's a terrible loser because he's after the game, he's always he he he gets over it quite quickly, but during the game he can be very uh I think sassy is the word.
- 48:04SPEAKER_04: He's not a bad loser.
- 48:05SPEAKER_04: Is he a bad loser?
- 48:06SPEAKER_04: Did you ever yeah you you never won against him, probably, so you don't know.
- 48:09SPEAKER_02: Um we beat them once in in a group game.
- 48:16SPEAKER_01: Not rising to it, it's not worth it.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: Um it's not bad.
- 48:20SPEAKER_01: I had the Casim brothers.
- 48:22SPEAKER_01: We beat them a couple of we beat them a couple of times, like for South Africa, and that was not it's not pleasant.
- 48:29SPEAKER_01: They they really get after you.
- 48:31SPEAKER_01: And I I didn't even want any smoke last time as well.
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: I just had uh one of the yeah, I think it was Mustafa just coming at me, and I was like, there's this there's no harm.
- 48:40SPEAKER_01: I'm not even angry, just chill, it's all good.
- 48:44SPEAKER_02: Do you know do you know who I had down?
- 48:46SPEAKER_02: And it's it's not recent.
- 48:48SPEAKER_02: Do you remember the two Spanish centre backs, Sergio Enrique and his mate with a spiky hair?
- 48:53SPEAKER_02: What was his name?
- 48:55SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's gonna really remember me.
- 48:56SPEAKER_01: Brennan, it's a it's a it's a current award.
- 48:59SPEAKER_01: We've done this every year, you can't suddenly go back ten years.
- 49:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, no, also was a terrible loser.
- 49:06SPEAKER_04: Oh, he was so terrible, you know.
- 49:09SPEAKER_04: His name is uh Dunganoya.
- 49:11SPEAKER_02: Um terrible, but what have you in which case, lads?
- 49:16SPEAKER_02: I haven't played against anyone in a year, so I can't give you any answers.
- 49:19SPEAKER_02: I can't give you any go back a year.
- 49:22SPEAKER_02: No, I can't.
- 49:23SPEAKER_02: That's the whole point.
- 49:24SPEAKER_02: I can't.
- 49:25SPEAKER_01: Do we just do we just randomly put in the Grambush brothers because that's good fun?
- 49:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I yeah, I probably Tom Tom seems like not the best loser, to be honest.
- 49:37SPEAKER_04: I think he does some rogue shit when he loses.
- 49:40SPEAKER_01: They took the award really well last year.
- 49:42SPEAKER_01: They won an award, I can't remember which one it was, but they commented on our post being like, cheers to that.
- 49:46SPEAKER_01: I think it was Umpire's worst nightmare, actually.
- 49:49SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, I think it was Umpire's worst nightmare.
- 49:51SPEAKER_01: I really feel like you've done an absolute job on Vortalbor, so he can be a double winner, his best player, and worst loser.
- 49:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're happy.
- 50:00SPEAKER_04: He gets on the closet very, very easily, so I think he would be a worst loser.
- 50:04SPEAKER_01: Um, worst dressed.
- 50:08SPEAKER_02: Uh, I've got one nominee that I think should win it, and you're gonna enjoy his outfits next year, you've gone for Struan Walker.
- 50:16SPEAKER_02: There are some items of clothing that he has worn in the last year or two that I can't even work out if it's clothing or not.
- 50:23SPEAKER_02: It's that bad.
- 50:24SPEAKER_02: And you've got that to look forward to.
- 50:26SPEAKER_02: He is a man of style and it's unique.
- 50:30SPEAKER_04: Interesting.
- 50:32SPEAKER_04: Like, I found this that this I you can you can you can only be very biased because you're only you can only like nominate people you see outside of the hockey field, and I don't see a whole lot of people except the ones I know outside the hockey field.
- 50:44SPEAKER_04: Like, I can I sometimes you can imagine what someone's clothing would be like the way they handle themselves in the hockey field.
- 50:50SPEAKER_04: Like, let's say you're a double glover, odds are you also have a shit uh fashion style.
- 50:56SPEAKER_04: Uh right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 50:59SPEAKER_04: I completely agree.
- 51:01SPEAKER_04: Like, if you let let's say, and I'm don't take this too personal, but let's say you see Brendan on a hockey pitch, you probably wouldn't say, Oh, he's a fashionable man, right?
- 51:12SPEAKER_04: With like things around his ankles, his double, there's this huge sweatband he has on with like protection and all this.
- 51:19SPEAKER_04: Like probably wouldn't think he's so looking also in that direction.
- 51:24SPEAKER_04: I'm nominating Aim Z for this one, and I'm basing this purely on the uh on the I haven't seen him in in normal clothing one, but the EHL, I saw him, and he had this backpack, uh, which was like so big, it almost carried him around.
- 51:39SPEAKER_04: So, on the sheer basis of that backpack, I want to nominate AMZ.
- 51:44SPEAKER_01: So, so what you've done there is actually made an award that you he'll be more hurt by that than you would be of the ginger, and that anyone would be of the glass man.
- 51:54SPEAKER_01: He takes unbelievable pride in how he dresses.
- 52:00SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, congratulations, Amy, you've been nominated.
- 52:04SPEAKER_01: I had two.
- 52:05SPEAKER_04: Ames, no, Ames.
- 52:06SPEAKER_04: I still I love you, and you look you're very handsome, man.
- 52:09SPEAKER_04: I just based this on the fact that you have that you had a big backpack, and I'm not a huge backpack fan.
- 52:16SPEAKER_01: I don't think he's ever talking to you again for that nomination.
- 52:18SPEAKER_01: Um, I had two.
- 52:20SPEAKER_04: I had you're just trying to trying to start shit because you're you.
- 52:25SPEAKER_04: I'm sorry.
- 52:26SPEAKER_04: Don't take this personal.
- 52:27SPEAKER_04: I love you, you know that.
- 52:28SPEAKER_04: Fuck you, Phil.
- 52:30SPEAKER_04: No one likes you.
- 52:31SPEAKER_01: I had two.
- 52:32SPEAKER_01: Um Will Cownan just because I don't I think he steals most of his clothes from his dad, and that's that's just a fact.
- 52:39SPEAKER_01: And the other one is on this call, and it is Brendan Creed.
- 52:44SPEAKER_01: Um, Nick's half of Maddie's clothes still wears some fluxes, some yellow fluxes.
- 52:51SPEAKER_03: Um I am terrible dress sent.
- 52:54SPEAKER_01: There's half, there's like I'm I'm in no way high on this list, but I sometimes think you go out of your way to be different.
- 53:03SPEAKER_01: And who means?
- 53:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you.
- 53:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, of course.
- 53:08SPEAKER_02: Can I can I chime in just on Will Cannon?
- 53:11SPEAKER_02: Do you remember the trip where we went where people had to start putting their names in their boxes because Will Cowan would steal their boxes?
- 53:18SPEAKER_02: Cowan arrived on a trip with like HM pack of five and left with five pairs of Calvins.
- 53:26SPEAKER_02: He was even taking ones from like the um analysts.
- 53:31SPEAKER_02: Just going down in different boxes every time.
- 53:36SPEAKER_02: I'll take that award though.
- 53:37SPEAKER_02: I'll take that award.
- 53:38SPEAKER_02: I'm not offended.
- 53:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay, Brendan.
- 53:41SPEAKER_01: It's it's it's like kind of like part of the legacy that you always take.
- 53:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 53:48SPEAKER_01: Um, last award, and it is silent engine award.
- 53:51SPEAKER_01: I thought we'd finished it for semi-serious.
- 53:54SPEAKER_01: Uh, last year's winner probably automatically gets a nomination.
- 53:57SPEAKER_01: It's Amit Rodas, Brendan's Idol.
- 54:00SPEAKER_01: I fucking love that, man.
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: Is there any other nominations?
- 54:05SPEAKER_02: I've got two.
- 54:07SPEAKER_02: Oh I've got two.
- 54:09SPEAKER_02: Um my one is is funny enough, Ames.
- 54:15SPEAKER_02: I actually put Ames in.
- 54:17SPEAKER_02: Just just sticks long.
- 54:19SPEAKER_02: My other one is a bit niche.
- 54:20SPEAKER_02: Pepe Canil.
- 54:23SPEAKER_02: One of Spanish boys who just eats up ground for a living and just gets on with shit.
- 54:27SPEAKER_02: Seems to get whacked all the time and just gets up and goes again.
- 54:30SPEAKER_02: Isn't one of the divers, just cracks on.
- 54:33SPEAKER_02: Um, he's my he's my serious nomination for that this award, apart from obviously my main man, Amit.
- 54:41SPEAKER_02: Without fail, he's got me top of the list, hasn't he?
- 54:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I've got two, I've got two nominations for this, and it it's it's no surprise that actually both of them from Serbiton, because Serbiton is is basically mainly engines.
- 54:53SPEAKER_02: If you push Two Rushmere down, fair enough, because he's also on the list, but I didn't think it was appropriate.
- 54:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, fair.
- 54:58SPEAKER_01: Sue Rushmere, absolute engine and a half, and could take a fair amount of wax to get straight back up, just keeps running.
- 55:05SPEAKER_01: If you asked him to jump off a cliff, he'd he'd already be halfway down.
- 55:10SPEAKER_01: And uh Tim Nurse, also incredible engine.
- 55:14SPEAKER_01: Both both both very, very good players as well.
- 55:17SPEAKER_04: But I feel like because we we created this um this uh awards last year, uh, and I don't think it it's not about the engine.
- 55:26SPEAKER_04: Like we said silent engine, as in it's like a Dutch translation of stille motor, and it's not about the engine, it's about that like uh a bit like underappreciated.
- 55:38SPEAKER_04: So like someone who you don't know is really good until you take them out.
- 55:43SPEAKER_04: That's the definition of silent engine, not the one someone who can run a lot.
- 55:48SPEAKER_01: I feel like I've took this way too, literally.
- 55:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you did.
- 55:52SPEAKER_04: You fucked up.
- 55:53SPEAKER_04: I nominated uh Derek the Vilder, who's like yeah, because when you don't you never really it never really stands out until you take him away and you feel like he really helps the pair like how the team flows.
- 56:07SPEAKER_04: I think like a guy who's like a silent engine is uh Aubrey not never really stands out because he never does like very he probably does special shit, but I don't see him play in uh like for England never really stands out.
- 56:21SPEAKER_04: You can put him at any position in the field, and he's like uh you you notice once he doesn't play.
- 56:28SPEAKER_02: So I feel like he's like the definition surely the Slover's that definition then as well.
- 56:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, and no, because I feel Slover stands out too much.
- 56:39SPEAKER_04: If that makes sense, yeah, yeah, makes sense.
- 56:42SPEAKER_02: So you're thinking more like a uh like a Hannes Müller, like that kind of player.
- 56:47SPEAKER_04: Hannes Müller, a perfect example of like a silent engine.
- 56:50SPEAKER_04: Like once you play against him, you know how good he is, and he's tough to take the ball off, but he never really stands out as in uh um like Phil Max Gaussa's Max Garfers' definition of a silent engine.
- 57:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, and I think I think you've probably struck goal with Hannes Müller there.
- 57:07SPEAKER_01: I feel like we can't really go any further with someone who's a very, very talented hockey player, but you probably don't really see him do anything crazy.
- 57:15SPEAKER_01: But yeah, okay.
- 57:16SPEAKER_01: We'll finish off our awards, our tenth award, the silent engine, that me and Brennan got completely wrong.
- 57:21SPEAKER_02: Uh you missed off what you missed off one, you missed off most improved.
- 57:26SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 57:28SPEAKER_01: If you want to do most improved, we can do most improved.
- 57:31SPEAKER_02: Well, that would make it 10.
- 57:32SPEAKER_01: Sorry, go on then, Brendan.
- 57:35SPEAKER_02: Uh, I've got two down actually.
- 57:37SPEAKER_02: Uh, you talked about him earlier on, Floris Mitten up.
- 57:41SPEAKER_02: I think he's come into his own in the last year.
- 57:44SPEAKER_02: Um, and he's been seriously good in like watching classic games that I can do.
- 57:48SPEAKER_02: He's he is busted.
- 57:50SPEAKER_02: Um, the other one I've got is a bit of a bit different.
- 57:54SPEAKER_02: I've gone for Yip Yanton actually.
- 57:56SPEAKER_02: I think when he first came on the scene, people would target him a bit for his actual hockey ability.
- 58:01SPEAKER_02: And I think over the past year, I actually think he's got a hell of a lot better at hockey in general, and he's and he's less been picked for his flicking and actually because he can play.
- 58:10SPEAKER_02: Um, which I think is actually credit to him to kind of like to be picked as part of like a gold medal Olympic side, not actually score a corner, but not look out of place when you've basically been picked because you can flick.
- 58:24SPEAKER_02: I think it's actually pretty impressive.
- 58:26SPEAKER_02: He did score a couple corners.
- 58:28SPEAKER_02: The Olympics, did it?
- 58:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so you're thinking of the Europeans he didn't score a corner.
- 58:32SPEAKER_01: Oh Europeans, sorry.
- 58:34SPEAKER_02: Um but I think I yeah, Yip Yansen's my other Yip Yanson's my other nominee.
- 58:38SPEAKER_02: Sorry, mate, it wasn't there.
- 58:41SPEAKER_04: You were there at the European Olympics, I wasn't, you knob.
- 58:45SPEAKER_04: No, but you were the tournament which you're talking about, you were there.
- 58:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
- 58:49SPEAKER_02: I've seen I watched him.
- 58:50SPEAKER_02: Um anyway, yeah, he that might be nominated.
- 58:57SPEAKER_04: I'm nominating Thibaut Stockbrooks.
- 59:00SPEAKER_04: Yeah, uh really didn't make a selection for Belgium quite a while, and I think he was uh one of the better strikers in uh in uh Paris.
- 59:08SPEAKER_04: Played with him this year, scored uh scored 14 uh field goals or 13-14, uh 15 even I think, which is quite a lot, uh, which is a hell of a lot.
- 59:18SPEAKER_04: Um, so I would um nominate Thibaut Stockbrooks as most improved.
- 59:23SPEAKER_04: Um and um yeah, I'll leave it at that.
- 59:27SPEAKER_04: I think he wins for me.
- 59:30SPEAKER_04: Oh, maybe uh no, another one.
- 59:32SPEAKER_04: Sorry, not uh Frums.
- 59:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Frums.
- 59:36SPEAKER_01: Very good.
- 59:36SPEAKER_01: Three three really good three really good nominees.
- 59:39SPEAKER_01: I don't really want to add to it because I think I think you've hit the nail on the head.
- 59:43SPEAKER_01: I was I was gonna put well I was gonna put Connor Williamson in because I think if you look at the his last year, how much he's improved is is is pretty stunning.
- 59:50SPEAKER_01: But obviously, again, having not played too many too many international games, you're gonna have to wait and see on that one.
- 59:55SPEAKER_01: You um but I would I would probably put my my mine on Tibby Stockbrooks.
- 1:00:01SPEAKER_02: Me too a nice player.
- 1:00:04SPEAKER_01: Wrap it up.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_01: Most improved player, Tibby Stockbrooks.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_01: So maybe Brendan, your far uh parting gift to us could be to do a nice graphic of all of the winners and losers of the uh LST awards.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_02: I can definitely do that.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_01: You're you're a kind man.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_01: Um we are gonna we are gonna wrap up the podcast there.

- 1:00:37SPEAKER_01: I uh we haven't decided, we haven't talked.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_01: It's not like that we're that professional.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_01: But um I guess to say again, Brendan, thank you again for everything that you've you've given to LST over over eight seasons, and um you will be you'll be sorely missed.

- 1:01:11SPEAKER_04: I'm I'm I'm gen I'm genuinely gonna miss you.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_04: As in you're a very tough man also to get a hold of, and this was like our uh our uh like weekly uh weekly talk.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_04: So that'll make it like it's tough to get uh to to get contact with you.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_04: So I'll I'll miss you more for that than the actual podcast, but um yeah.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_04: It's the first time, probably last time that you were actually really good at this at this uh this shit show.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_04: So uh thanks.
