  And today we're going to be talking about space X and the
• 2:26
  starlink mission. This mission was successful so
• 2:31
  far. They launched this morning in
• 2:34
  9:46 a.m. This is from the space launch
• 2:39
  complex, 40 at Cape, Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida and
• 2:44
  it was on a Falcon 9 rocket. There were 60 starlink
• 2:50
  satellites onboard and these startling satellites.
• 2:55
  They're going to be beaming super fast.
• 2:59
  High speed satellite internet across the globe.
• 3:03
  That's what starlink is all about.
• 3:05
  It's a satellite internet provider by SpaceX, in the
• 3:11
  reason why they're doing starlink is because they need to
• 3:13
  make money in order to do the other cool things that they want
• 3:17
  to do like Starship and Starship is going to be spacex's future.

  They'll be able to launch a satellite constellations with
• 3:26
  Starling or with the Starship. They'll also be able to Ferry
• 3:31
  people from the earth tours, any place in the solar system
• 3:35
  basically. This will be a human rated / set
• 3:39
  alight. Rated rocket, they can do so
• 3:42
  many things and starlink is the way they're going to make
• 3:45
  billions of dollars because they need a commercial operation in
• 3:49
  order to make that money. So this Falcon 9 that was

  launched today. Supported the Iridium 7 sow,

  com1, a and nusantara saw two missions.

  Earlier on, so these this thing is already flown in.

  This is the fourth flight. The fairing was previously.

  Flown on Falcon Heavies, are obsessed 680 Mission earlier

  this year and that's the first time that they're going to be

  doing a fearing re-fly. So after the stage separation,

  altitude of 280 kilometers and that's prior to the orbit rays,

  which SpaceX Engineers will conduct data reviews.

  To ensure all starlink satellites are operating as

  intended. And once those checkouts are
• 5:03
  complete, the satellites will then use their onboard ion
• 5:07
  thrusters to move into their intended orbits.

  And these are low orbits, basically They need to have low
• 5:18
  orbit, so your device, whatever your device is, can ping the
• 5:24
  satellite faster than if it's in a higher orbit.
• 5:29
  So, the latency will be lower if it's in a low orbit.

  So the cool thing about starlink, let me kind of back up
• 5:38
  here, is that? If you're in a rural area,
• 5:42
  you'll be able to get a super high speed connection to the
• 5:48
  internet, pretty easily. You'll need something about the
• 5:52
  size of a pizza box. Pretty much like in your yard,
• 5:56
  or on your on the roof of your house or wherever they're going
• 5:59
  to start deploying these things. And that will be in the signal
• 6:03
  from your device to that pizza box, thing up into orbit to the
• 6:07
  satellite, which beams the signal, all over the place, and
• 6:11
  gets you, the information that you need and it gets you, the
• 6:14

  Firings of their engines, making sure that everything works well

  and then if all that works good we're going to be seeing some,

  some flights of star. I keep getting mixing mixed up

  with the Starling a Starship where we going to be seeing some
• 7:27
  Starship launches this year. And early next year.

  Also, early next year SpaceX will be sending humans back to
• 7:36
  the International Space Station for the first time since the
• 7:39
  space shuttle. So how cool is that?
