  Strength for the journey Have you ever hit a point where you
• 0:15
  felt worn down, Like you were running on empty and still
• 0:18
  expected to keep going? Maybe it was the pressure to
• 0:22
  stay consistent, to do the right thing when it would be easier to
• 0:25
  quit, or to keep trusting God when the path feels long and
• 0:29
  uncertain. Following Jesus isn't always
• 0:32
  about big dramatic moments. Sometimes it's about finding the
• 0:36
  strength to take the next step when you're tired.
• 0:39
  Proverbs chapter 10, verse 29 gives us a powerful promise.
• 0:44
  It says the way of the Lord is a stronghold to the blameless.
• 0:47
  Think about that. God's way isn't just a set of
• 0:50
  rules or a moral suggestion. It's a place of protection, a
• 0:54
  refuge. When you choose His way, even
• 0:57
  when it's hard, you're not walking alone.

  You're walking inside His strength.
• 1:02
  What feels demanding on the outside is actually sustaining
• 1:05
  you on the inside. Psalm 20 adds another layer of
• 1:09
  encouragement. In Psalm chapter 20, verse 4,
• 1:13
  the prayer is May He grant your heart's desire and fulfill all
• 1:17
  your plans. That doesn't mean God hands us
• 1:20
  everything we want instantly. It means He cares about the
• 1:23
  direction of your life. When your heart is aligned with
• 1:26
  Him, His strength fuels the plans He's shaping in you.
• 1:30
  God isn't distant from your goals, your struggles, or your
• 1:33
  questions. He's actively involved,
• 1:36
  strengthening you for the journey ahead.
• 1:38
  We see this lived out in Acts chapter 18 through the life of
• 1:42
  Paul. Acts chapter 18, verse 4 tells
• 1:45
  us that Paul reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath,
• 1:48
  persuading both Jews and Greeks. That's consistency.
• 1:52
  Week after week he showed up, spoke truth, and stood firm even
• 1:56
  when people disagreed or resisted.
• 1:58
  Paul didn't rely on his own strength.
• 2:01
  He relied on God's call and God's power to keep going.
• 2:05
  This matters for us because strength isn't about never
• 2:07
  feeling weak. It's about knowing where to go
• 2:10
  when you are. God's way doesn't promise the
• 2:13
  absence of opposition, but it does promise a stronghold in the
• 2:16
  middle of it. When you feel overwhelmed, God
• 2:19
  offers stability. When you feel unsure, He offers
• 2:22
  direction. When you feel tired, He offers
• 2:26
  endurance. You don't have to carry
• 2:28
  everything by yourself. Walking in God's way means
• 2:31
  you're held, protected, and strengthened even when the
• 2:34
  journey is long. Stay faithful, stay bold, stay
• 2:38
  rooted. God's strength is more than
• 2:40
  enough to carry you forward. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, thank you for being my stronghold.
• 2:45
  When I feel weak or overwhelmed, remind me that Your way is not
• 2:49
  only right, but powerful enough to sustain me through every
• 2:53
  challenge. Help me to trust Your plans even
• 2:56
  when I don't see the full picture.
• 2:58
  Strengthen my heart to pray with faith and to live boldly for
• 3:01
  You, knowing that You are carrying me every step of the
• 3:04
  way in Jesus name, Amen. What if the way you pray changed
• 3:09
  because you truly knew who God is?

  all the Jews to depart from Rome, he came to them, and

  because he practiced the same trade, he lived with them and

  worked for by trade. They were tent makers.

  He reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath and persuaded Jews

  and Greeks. When Selas and Timothy came down

  from Macedonia, Paul was compelled by the Spirit,

  testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.

  When they opposed him and blasphemed, he shook out his

  clothing and said to them, Your blood be on your own heads.

  I am clean. From now on I will go to the

  Gentiles. He departed there and went into

  months, teaching the word of God among them.

  But when Gallio was proconsul of a chaya, the Jews with 1 accord

  rose up against Paul and brought him before the judgement seat,

  saying, This man persuades men to worship God contrary to the

  law. But when Paul was about to open

  his mouth, Gallio said to the Jews, If indeed it were a matter

  of wrong or of wicked crime, you Jews, it would be reasonable
• 7:21
  that I should bear with you. But if they are questions about
• 7:23
  words and names and your own law, look to it yourselves, for
• 7:27
  I don't want to be a judge of these matters.
• 7:30
  So he drove them from the judgement seat.
• 7:32
  Then all the Greeks seized, saw scenes the ruler of the
• 7:35
  synagogue, and beat him before the judgement seat.
• 7:38
  Gallio didn't care about any of these things.
• 7:40
  Paul, having stayed after this many more days, took his leave
• 7:44
  of the brothers and sailed from there for Syria, together with
• 7:47
  Priscilla and Aquila. He shaved his head in sanctuary,
• 7:50
  for he had a vow. He came to Ephesus, and he left
• 7:53
  them there. But he himself entered into the
• 7:56
  synagogue and reasoned with the Jews.
• 7:58
  When they asked him to stay with them a longer time, he declined.
• 8:02
  But taking his leave of them, he said, I must by all means keep
• 8:05
  this coming feast in Jerusalem, but I will return again to you
• 8:09
  if God wills. Then he set sail from Ephesus.

  When he had landed at Caesarea, he went up and greeted the
• 8:15
  assembly, and went down to Antioch.
• 8:18
  Having spent some time there, he departed and went through the
• 8:21
  region of Galatia and Phrygia in order establishing all the
• 8:24
  disciples. Now a certain Jew named Apollos,
• 8:28
  and Alexandrian by race, an eloquent man, came to Ephesus.
• 8:32
  He was mighty in the Scriptures. This man had been instructed in
• 8:35
  the way of the Lord, and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and
• 8:39
  taught accurately the things concerning Jesus.
• 8:41
  Although he knew only the baptism of John, he began to
• 8:44
  speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Priscilla and Aquila
• 8:48
  heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of
• 8:51
  God more accurately. When he had determined to pass
• 8:54
  over into a chaya, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the
• 8:58
  disciples to receive him. When he had come, he greatly
• 9:01
  helped those who had believed through grace, for he powerfully
• 9:04
  refuted the Jews publicly, showing by the Scriptures that
• 9:08
