- 1:01Speaker 6: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. All right, let's get
- 1:04Speaker 6: into it, you guys. The shows are here.
- 1:07Speaker 3: This weekend, I'm going to be in St.
- 1:09Speaker 6: Paul on Friday night and then Saturday in Chicago with
- 1:14Speaker 6: the hilarious cutie, Justin Martindale. These are live Juicy Scoop.
- 1:18Speaker 6: Someone was asking me, oh, does Justin go on first? No,
- 1:22Speaker 6: just like a live Juicy Scoop, but a little bit
- 1:24Speaker 6: different with different segments. I'm saving juice for you guys.
- 1:27Speaker 6: That's like exclusive stuff just for the live shows. Going
- 1:30Speaker 6: to be very fun. And then if you have a
- 1:33Speaker 6: meet and greet, the meet and greet happens immediately after
- 1:36Speaker 6: the show, like within like five minutes, I'm back out
- 1:39Speaker 6: there ready to meet you guys, take photos. So that
- 1:42Speaker 6: is the routine for the shows. People have been asking.
- 1:45Speaker 6: Everything can be at HeatherMcDonald.net. Following weekend, Chris Frangiola and
- 1:49Speaker 6: I are together in Seattle and Portland. So get all
- 1:53Speaker 6: your tickets at HeatherMcDonald.net, especially the Vegas one. That one
- 1:56Speaker 6: is selling really well. And what a fun weekend. I
- 1:59Speaker 6: know a lot of people are going alone. I just
- 2:01Speaker 6: read about this one mom. She is leaving her husband
- 2:04Speaker 6: and toddlers at home, and she's literally just going to
- 2:07Speaker 6: Vegas by herself because she wants to be alone in
- 2:09Speaker 6: a hotel room and then come see our show. But
- 2:11Speaker 6: she knows she's going to have a great time because
- 2:12Speaker 6: there's going to be a bunch of other Juicy Scoopers there.
- 2:14Speaker 6: So whatever your situation is, if you're coming to the
- 2:17Speaker 6: show alone, you will not be alone. And that is
- 2:20Speaker 6: for sure. So don't ever keep that from going to
- 2:22Speaker 6: a Juicy Scoop.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 2:25Speaker 6: So this weekend, lots of fun things I did because
- 2:27Speaker 6: I'm at home. So I wanted to make the most
- 2:29Speaker 6: of it. Saturday, I went to an event celebrating Lala
- 2:33Speaker 6: Kent at the Bob Shapiro, who is the famed attorney
- 2:37Speaker 6: Robert Shapiro, but everyone calls him Bob. his sons passed
- 2:42Speaker 6: away of drug addiction. And so there's a big charity
- 2:44Speaker 6: for that. And Lala was honored and I got to
- 2:47Speaker 6: go and Lisa Vanderpump was there and, and Ken and
- 2:51Speaker 6: Stassi and her friend Logan and Katie. And so I
- 2:56Speaker 6: was just right in there. And at one point I
- 2:58Speaker 6: was on the red carpet cause they asked me to
- 3:01Speaker 6: do it. And then this one photographer was taking a
- 3:03Speaker 6: photo of all of us, including Lisa Vanderpump. She goes, Oh,
- 3:05Speaker 6: are you on the show now? And I go, no,
- 3:08Speaker 6: I just, And then I realized.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Heather, get the fuck off the carpet.
- 3:11Speaker 6: They want just the Vanderpump people, not me. So anyway,
- 3:16Speaker 6: look for those photos. I actually wore the dress that
- 3:19Speaker 6: I wore when I married Chris Ventola and his wife.
- 3:21Speaker 6: So I didn't even buy a new dress. That's how
- 3:23Speaker 6: that stars just like you and me.
- 3:24Speaker 3: That's the way I am.
- 3:26Speaker 6: Anyway, there's more juice to the night, which I will
- 3:28Speaker 6: share on Patreon. HeatherRidal.net. And you click on Patreon and
- 3:33Speaker 6: you change your life.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:35Speaker 5: Then.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Finally, we went to the concert, the Duran Duran concert
- 3:39Speaker 6: at the Hollywood Bowl.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Now, if you're listening to.
- 3:41Speaker 6: The show with Chris Frangela, he invited me. And then
- 3:44Speaker 6: when I started to plan out the night, he wanted
- 3:46Speaker 6: to disinvite me.
- 3:48Speaker 3: And let me just tell you, I got a text
- 3:52Speaker 3: on Friday saying, are you sure you want to go
- 3:56Speaker 3: to Duran Duran? It's this Sunday.
- 3:58Speaker 6: Now, I admit, I completely forgot that it was this
- 4:01Speaker 6: Sunday when I got that text on Friday. And I
- 4:04Speaker 6: took a minute to call him back. Because I was like,
- 4:07Speaker 6: do I have the energy to do this? And I
- 4:10Speaker 6: was like, Heather, you know, the Juicy Scoopers will be
- 4:13Speaker 6: really disappointed if you don't go. And I am so
- 4:17Speaker 6: glad I went. First of all, he was totally ready
- 4:19Speaker 6: to invite someone else. And I'm like, no, I'm going
- 4:23Speaker 6: to go. You promised me we're going.
- 4:25Speaker 3: It was flawless.
- 4:27Speaker 6: I went to Trader Joe's that afternoon. I got very
- 4:30Speaker 6: yummy food. Uh, he got upgraded to a box. He
- 4:34Speaker 6: didn't realize that he is a family member that has
- 4:37Speaker 6: a box.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Like what? You just don't like, you never knew that.
- 4:41Speaker 3: So now we got to sit.
- 4:42Speaker 6: In the box with a little table at the Hollywood Bowl.
- 4:45Speaker 6: I have to say the Hollywood Bowl is my favorite
- 4:47Speaker 6: place to go see a show because it was, especially
- 4:50Speaker 6: this time of year, it was not too hot.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I was fine.
- 4:53Speaker 6: I wore tennis shoes. I wore joggers by Shibari Shirei. No,
- 4:57Speaker 6: they weren't by Shibari Shirei, but I wore joggers. and
- 5:00Speaker 6: a cute top and tennis shoes. And that really made
- 5:04Speaker 6: all the difference in the world.
- 5:05Speaker 3: And then we brought our food and we brought our
- 5:07Speaker 3: wine and stood up and danced.
- 5:10Speaker 6: And it was the best. It was really, really fun.
- 5:12Speaker 6: And I think he was happy with what I brought.
- 5:15Speaker 6: And I think he was happy that he brought me.
- 5:17Speaker 6: So the Uber was easy. Pickup was easy. It was
- 5:21Speaker 6: an easy experience. I don't know if you guys know this,
- 5:23Speaker 6: but the queen died. No, of course, people are sad.
- 5:28Speaker 6: People are super into it. Um, I, for someone who
- 5:33Speaker 6: talks about Meghan Markle and all the drama with that,
- 5:35Speaker 6: I don't know. I'm not, I wasn't like freaking out
- 5:38Speaker 6: about it. I understand why it is. Cause she was
- 5:40Speaker 6: like a constant. And if you watch the crown, you'll
- 5:44Speaker 6: really love her the way she's portrayed in that. I
- 5:46Speaker 6: really don't watch the crown. So I feel like she's
- 5:49Speaker 6: lived a really great life and you know, it's interesting.
- 5:53Speaker 6: But now that it's King Charles, um, Now, the direct
- 6:00Speaker 6: grandchildren of whoever is the king or queen, those children
- 6:04Speaker 6: can be princes and princesses. So now, if they choose
- 6:10Speaker 6: to have their child be a prince or princess, I
- 6:12Speaker 6: guess Meghan Markle's kids now can be Prince Archie and princess.
- 6:17Speaker 3: A little bit.
- 6:19Speaker 6: So it was never– here's the thing. I think the reason, okay,
- 6:23Speaker 6: so this is a juiciness. Okay, so there was some
- 6:25Speaker 6: videos that we found of people not happy to see
- 6:28Speaker 6: Meghan there. So people were excited to see Meghan and
- 6:31Speaker 6: Harry with William and Kate and they were together and
- 6:37Speaker 6: they were greeting people and they're like, oh my gosh,
- 6:39Speaker 6: you know, I wish they were like more friendly and
- 6:42Speaker 6: maybe they can get back together.
- 6:43Speaker 3: They're never, it's always going to be weird.
- 6:46Speaker 6: And if you're a huge fan of the Queen, it's like, God, Megan,
- 6:51Speaker 6: you put the queen, like this elderly woman, through an
- 6:56Speaker 6: awful last year and a half of her life. Like,
- 6:59Speaker 6: you were the only stress in her life. The stuff
- 7:01Speaker 6: that you did, that you said in your interviews, which, hey,
- 7:04Speaker 6: it's your right to share your story. But if you're
- 7:07Speaker 6: not being super, you know, greeted by the people of
- 7:11Speaker 6: England happily right now, then that could be the reason.
- 7:15Speaker 3: So that's my opinion. And then, of course....
- 7:19Speaker 6: Side pieces all over the world are cheering that they
- 7:22Speaker 6: too have a queen.
- 7:23Speaker 3: And that is Camilla. And that's not my joke. I've
- 7:26Speaker 3: seen it other places, but I do think it was
- 7:28Speaker 3: kind of brilliant.
- 7:30Speaker 6: It could be looked at that, or it could also
- 7:32Speaker 6: be looked at is he always loved her and wanted
- 7:35Speaker 6: to marry her, but because she wasn't young and virginal,
- 7:39Speaker 6: I want to say maybe she was divorced or something
- 7:41Speaker 6: or older. He had to marry someone more like Diana.
- 7:45Speaker 6: And Because of that, they still always loved each other.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Of course, they had their affair even while she was married.
- 7:51Speaker 3: And now that they've been together for like, I.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Don't even know how long they've been married, 20 years
- 7:55Speaker 6: or something, they seem like they have a great relationship.
- 7:58Speaker 6: And so she is going to be called the Queen something.
- 8:03Speaker 3: She has a different name. So there you go. It's
- 8:07Speaker 3: kind of interesting. Oh, this came up today.
- 8:10Speaker 6: Khloe Kardashian has been teasing some big thing. I, of course,
- 8:15Speaker 6: thought it was a podcast.
- 8:16Speaker 3: It's not. It's gummies.
- 8:18Speaker 6: And she's selling gummies, and they're called Lemmy. And, hey,
- 8:21Speaker 6: I'm all about promoting other women, especially when they do
- 8:26Speaker 6: photos that exactly are the exact cover of my book
- 8:30Speaker 6: of You'll Never Blue Ball in This Town Again. I
- 8:32Speaker 6: have a photo of it side by side. And, yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 6: that was the cover of my book. It came out
- 8:37Speaker 6: in 2010. In fact, Kris Jenner gave me a quote
- 8:40Speaker 6: for it. So it probably was on her bookshelf when
- 8:43Speaker 6: they were thinking of this photo idea. And so Courtney,
- 8:47Speaker 6: who looks really beautiful, she went naked.
- 8:49Speaker 3: I wore a dress.
- 8:50Speaker 6: She is laying down from the exact same angle as
- 8:53Speaker 6: I am with all the gummies covering her. So, you know,
- 8:57Speaker 6: my dad always said plagiarism is the highest form of flattery.
- 9:00Speaker 3: So thank you. I really don't care. Sell those gummies.
- 9:04Speaker 3: I love it.
- 9:05Speaker 6: And just maybe I could get like a free bottle
- 9:07Speaker 6: for talking about it for five minutes.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:09Speaker 6: This was the scoop that happened over the weekend. Ray
- 9:12Speaker 6: J is pissed. Ray J went on his Instagram live
- 9:18Speaker 6: and he shared all the info.
- 9:20Speaker 3: I'm going to give it to you in.
- 9:24Speaker 6: A linear way of what went down. In April, an
- 9:29Speaker 6: episode aired of the Kim started to cry because her son, Saint,
- 9:36Speaker 6: was looking on something called Roblox, and some ad or
- 9:40Speaker 6: something came up with there's a new sex tape, one
- 9:43Speaker 6: that has never been released, with Kim and Ray J
- 9:46Speaker 6: coming out.
- 9:47Speaker 3: She was like, what?
- 9:48Speaker 6: What is this other sex tape? I mean, I don't–
- 9:50Speaker 6: I never filmed another sex tape.
- 9:52Speaker 3: With Ray J. He has it? What the hell? I mean,
- 9:54Speaker 3: what was I asleep?
- 9:55Speaker 6: And he like stuck his button, me, his dick in
- 9:57Speaker 6: my butt. Like she says that on the show, then
- 10:00Speaker 6: it concludes with her at SNL. And even though she's
- 10:03Speaker 6: divorcing Kanye, he shows up with his laptop and he said,
- 10:08Speaker 6: I went to Ray J and I got all the
- 10:11Speaker 6: material of the next sex tape that now thanks to
- 10:15Speaker 6: me will never be released. Ray J was pissed about
- 10:18Speaker 6: that portrayal. He went after, he wrote Kim. He ends
- 10:22Speaker 6: up sharing all their DMs together. And she's like, no,
- 10:27Speaker 6: it obviously was a joke. I did not like accuse
- 10:30Speaker 6: you of anything that was criminal or anything. But watch
- 10:34Speaker 6: the episode because you come off great. And he's like,
- 10:37Speaker 6: She's like, I just thought you'd want to get it
- 10:39Speaker 6: off the Internet, too, now that you're a father and
- 10:41Speaker 6: I'm a mother. And he's like, well, if the story
- 10:44Speaker 6: is that I put it out there without your knowledge,
- 10:49Speaker 6: you know, because the story has always been about sex
- 10:50Speaker 6: tape that apparently Ray J went, got the tape without.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Because he put it out there.
- 10:56Speaker 6: And then they were like, let's make lemonade out of lemons.
- 10:59Speaker 6: And then they did a deal with Vivid and Steve Hirsch,
- 11:02Speaker 6: and where they then made money. But it was not
- 11:04Speaker 6: ever her intention to have it out. But once it
- 11:06Speaker 6: was out, kind of like a Pamela Anderson, I guess
- 11:09Speaker 6: I'll just make the most of it. There was always
- 11:12Speaker 6: rumors that was it more calculated than that? Was it
- 11:15Speaker 6: actually put out by Chris Jenner, maybe, or Kim, or
- 11:20Speaker 6: Kim Malone, or whatever? So he keeps his mouth shut. Now,
- 11:27Speaker 6: but he didn't like it, but he was like, whatever, fine.
- 11:29Speaker 6: Then we saw what was going on with Kanye last weekend.
- 11:33Speaker 6: And Kanye and Ray J had some connection.
- 11:35Speaker 3: They're talking. They're talking.
- 11:38Speaker 6: Over the weekend or Friday or something, Chris and Kylie
- 11:41Speaker 6: go on James Corden. They're all asshole buddies. They all
- 11:44Speaker 6: live in the Madison Club in La Quinta. So James
- 11:49Speaker 6: Corden is the new Ellen, and they're going to probably
- 11:52Speaker 6: come on every week until he leaves the show. So
- 11:54Speaker 6: they come on to talk about their new Blush collab
- 11:57Speaker 6: or something. And in it, they do a real corny
- 11:59Speaker 6: thing where they do a fake lie detector test.
- 12:02Speaker 3: It's fake. It's been planned out. Are you kidding me? And,
- 12:05Speaker 3: you know, come on. So of the fun questions like,
- 12:08Speaker 3: did Kim rip the dress? Blah, blah, blah. Is Corey
- 12:12Speaker 3: husband material?
- 12:14Speaker 2: Yes, he is.
- 12:15Speaker 6: And everything comes out. And there really is like nothing
- 12:18Speaker 6: where she's lying on it. And then they say, did
- 12:20Speaker 6: you help sell? Were you instrumental in selling the sex tape?
- 12:25Speaker 3: And she says, no.
- 12:25Speaker 6: And they like confirm that is true. That is what
- 12:29Speaker 6: set off Ray J. While he's in vacation in the
- 12:31Speaker 6: Dominican Republic or something, he's separated or divorcing his wife,
- 12:35Speaker 6: who he has the two kids with. And he goes
- 12:38Speaker 6: off for hours and he starts sharing all the DMs
- 12:42Speaker 6: and he brings out the vivid contract with Kim's writing
- 12:47Speaker 6: on it and his writing and they all signed it.
- 12:50Speaker 3: And in it, it clearly states what three tapes are ours.
- 12:55Speaker 6: There's part one, Getting to Cabo, part two, The Cabo Sex,
- 12:59Speaker 6: and part three, Sex Tape 2 in Santa Barbara. Because
- 13:05Speaker 6: he said, we went to Santa Barbara and we felt
- 13:07Speaker 6: because we were meeting with Steve Hirsch and everything to
- 13:10Speaker 6: plan this out. We went to Santa Barbara and filmed
- 13:13Speaker 6: a whole nother thing with like better lighting and I
- 13:16Speaker 6: don't know what.
- 13:17Speaker 3: So I've been saying this for a while.
- 13:20Speaker 6: I felt, you know, when we were at Chelsea lately,
- 13:22Speaker 6: the one thing we could never, ever joke about was
- 13:25Speaker 6: the sex tape. If there was a topic about the
- 13:27Speaker 6: Kardashians and another comedian came on, The producers would have
- 13:30Speaker 6: to go over their jokes and be like, there's no
- 13:32Speaker 6: way you could reference the sex tape ever. We have
- 13:34Speaker 6: promised E. We will never, ever mention the sex tape.
- 13:37Speaker 6: Then this season with Hulu, she comes out and all
- 13:41Speaker 6: these jokes about her having a sex tape is in
- 13:43Speaker 6: her stand-up monologue at SNL. And I said, I go,
- 13:48Speaker 6: I think they know this is going to get out.
- 13:49Speaker 6: I think they know the truth is going to get out.
- 13:51Speaker 6: And they're like, let's get ahead of it and be like, whatever.
- 13:53Speaker 5: So.
- 13:55Speaker 6: At the end of her, like, fighting with Ray J
- 13:57Speaker 6: in the DMs, she's like, do whatever you want. Like,
- 13:59Speaker 6: I don't really care anymore. Like, she's being all nice
- 14:01Speaker 6: to him.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And then she's like, whatever. I don't really care.
- 14:05Speaker 6: So Hollywood Unlocked picks it up. It's everywhere except TMZ.
- 14:10Speaker 7: Okay?
- 14:12Speaker 3: Literally, this is the cover of TMZ. I have it
- 14:15Speaker 3: here for the YouTube. And they did not talk about
- 14:19Speaker 3: this at all.
- 14:20Speaker 6: Okay?
- 14:20Speaker 3: Very, very interesting.
- 14:22Speaker 4: So.
- 14:24Speaker 3: My thought is, yeah. Did they probably have something to
- 14:27Speaker 3: do with it? Yes. For many years, did I think
- 14:30Speaker 3: they didn't? Yeah. I really feel like right now in
- 14:34Speaker 3: the world, every.
- 14:35Speaker 6: Day is like an episode of Fox's show, Magic Revealed,
- 14:39Speaker 6: where all of a sudden you're like, that's how the
- 14:40Speaker 6: trick was done?
- 14:41Speaker 3: Oh, we believed something different for all these years? Okay, well,
- 14:45Speaker 3: who cares? And I think she's kind of like, who cares?
- 14:48Speaker 3: I think she knew that.
- 14:49Speaker 6: This stuff was going to come out because she was
- 14:51Speaker 6: planning on leaving Kanye, because she still had... Ray J's
- 14:55Speaker 6: still pissed that he didn't get that much out of
- 14:58Speaker 6: it as far as fame.
- 14:58Speaker 3: They both got 12.5% of.
- 15:00Speaker 6: All the money that was made after, which I don't
- 15:02Speaker 6: think is a big coup. It's because we knew that
- 15:05Speaker 6: she was making money off of it. Once it was
- 15:07Speaker 6: out and in every hotel room, we knew she was
- 15:09Speaker 6: making money. The whole thing was, did she go and
- 15:13Speaker 6: orchestrate something with the intent of, let's do a sex
- 15:17Speaker 6: tape or... We have this sex tape. Let's release it
- 15:21Speaker 6: and then act like boo-hoo. I didn't know this is terrible,
- 15:25Speaker 6: but now I'm super duper famous and I don't care.
- 15:28Speaker 6: I think she's like fine with us knowing because it's
- 15:30Speaker 6: like you are the marketing genius. And now, whatever it is,
- 15:34Speaker 6: 16 years later, when every other mom has an OnlyFans account,
- 15:40Speaker 6: does it really matter? Does anyone really freaking care? I
- 15:43Speaker 6: told you when we were watching the Pamela Lee and
- 15:45Speaker 6: Tommy thing with my sons, They were like, who cares
- 15:48Speaker 6: that there's a video of them having sex? Like, who
- 15:51Speaker 6: cares that it's out there? Like, this younger generation, it's
- 15:54Speaker 6: not going to make them not buy skims or not
- 15:56Speaker 6: watch the show. But, you know, anyway, I'll share more
- 16:02Speaker 6: on Patreon.
- 16:03Speaker 3: I know more. But there you go. The TMZ did
- 16:04Speaker 3: not report.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Here are all the DMs I had here. Okay. Black China. Now,
- 16:10Speaker 3: there was this crazy article going around saying that she
- 16:13Speaker 3: made $ 20.
- 16:14Speaker 6: Million a month in, like, whatever it was, 240 million
- 16:20Speaker 6: a year, averaging a 20 million a month on OnlyFans.
- 16:23Speaker 6: The girl lives down the street, okay, from where my
- 16:27Speaker 6: office is, literally down the street. So I was like,
- 16:33Speaker 6: there's no way. And then her mom, Tokyo, China, Tokyo Tony.
- 16:42Speaker 3: She piped up. She goes, it's absolutely not true.
- 16:44Speaker 6: If she was making that much, why would she still
- 16:46Speaker 6: have her mom hustling on the corner?
- 16:48Speaker 3: I think she probably makes a lot. I think she
- 16:50Speaker 3: probably makes like, I don't know, $ 80, 000.
- 16:51Speaker 6: To $ 100, 000 a month, I'm guessing, which is still a lot.
- 16:55Speaker 6: But that Girl Catch Me Outside girl from Dr. Phil,
- 16:59Speaker 6: she's on the cover of Forbes, or maybe she made
- 17:01Speaker 6: a Forbes thing.
- 17:02Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 17:02Speaker 3: I saw it.
- 17:03Speaker 6: But apparently she did make like $ 48 million this year
- 17:08Speaker 6: on OnlyFans, and she's the top producer. So no one's
- 17:12Speaker 6: making $ 240 million.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Anyway, Brittany. So this weekend with Brittany, you guys, and
- 17:18Speaker 3: I am going to cover it. I don't care. It's
- 17:20Speaker 3: intriguing to me.
- 17:22Speaker 6: She did another four-part audio tape that she has since
- 17:26Speaker 6: taken down on her Instagram, again, talking to her sons.
- 17:32Speaker 3: And in it, it's very kind of weird. And she's
- 17:36Speaker 3: just like, my heart is broken. I love you.
- 17:38Speaker 6: But she also says things like, You know, everybody's so
- 17:40Speaker 6: concerned about how much sugar their babies get. You know,
- 17:43Speaker 6: my babies would wake up and I'd give them ice
- 17:45Speaker 6: cream because I just wanted to see their eyes open.
- 17:47Speaker 6: From the moment they woke up, I gave them ice cream. Anyway,
- 17:52Speaker 6: you know, she's like, you know, sad about it, but
- 17:56Speaker 6: calling them out for being sons that don't come around anymore.
- 18:00Speaker 3: And so, I mean, I.
- 18:03Speaker 6: Just want, so I, you know how I got, how
- 18:06Speaker 6: I feel.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Here's the thing.
- 18:07Speaker 6: If your mom is not mentally well, if your parent
- 18:09Speaker 6: is not mentally well, your dad, your mom, whatever, and
- 18:13Speaker 6: there are kids that are living in homes with their
- 18:15Speaker 6: parents that are like this because they have no choice.
- 18:18Speaker 6: This is the person that provides for them.
- 18:20Speaker 3: This is their shelter.
- 18:21Speaker 6: But in their heads, they're like, when I turn 18,
- 18:23Speaker 6: I'm getting the fuck out of here because this has
- 18:26Speaker 6: been crazy and I've had to be the parent in
- 18:28Speaker 6: this situation. These boys don't have to live with Brittany.
- 18:34Speaker 6: And after 13, they don't even really have to visit
- 18:36Speaker 6: her if they don't want to.
- 18:38Speaker 3: I think it's sad. I think they might regret it
- 18:41Speaker 3: one day.
- 18:41Speaker 6: But try telling like a 15-year-old boy, well, your mom's
- 18:45Speaker 6: going to cut you off when you're 18. How do
- 18:46Speaker 6: you feel about that? Most teenagers would be like, I'm okay. Like,
- 18:50Speaker 6: I think I'm smart and talented. I'm going to make
- 18:51Speaker 6: my own money. I don't need to deal with her
- 18:53Speaker 6: putting me on blast every day and then rolling around
- 18:55Speaker 6: in the sand.
- 18:56Speaker 3: I don't need it.
- 18:58Speaker 6: So that is where I'm coming from of the teenage
- 19:01Speaker 6: boy perspective who's being put out on blast a couple
- 19:06Speaker 6: times a week of being a bad son. And then
- 19:08Speaker 6: I read the comments, and they're like, oh, I can't
- 19:10Speaker 6: wait till those two little ungrateful shits get cut off.
- 19:13Speaker 3: You don't think they see that?
- 19:15Speaker 6: Like, you know, it doesn't matter that at the end
- 19:18Speaker 6: she says, I love you. So then she took it down,
- 19:21Speaker 6: but then she decided to post this photo online. of
- 19:23Speaker 6: her on her knees with her back facing. Her body
- 19:27Speaker 6: looks great, but she's pulling her butt cheeks apart. But
- 19:30Speaker 6: then she was nice enough to put a little heart
- 19:33Speaker 6: where the butthole would be. And then she talks about
- 19:36Speaker 6: how she always hated all of her promo photos.
- 19:39Speaker 3: And so this is the photo that she likes.
- 19:41Speaker 6: And then she removed that description.
- 19:46Speaker 3: And it's just constant. And I find it interesting.
- 19:50Speaker 6: That I have, I have seen photos of her in Hawaii.
- 19:52Speaker 6: She is in Hawaii. Sam does do the videos. I've
- 19:55Speaker 6: seen that she is in, I believe she's a hundred
- 19:58Speaker 6: percent in charge of her Instagram. And she's like, no,
- 20:01Speaker 6: one's going to tell me not to do what I
- 20:03Speaker 6: want to do, which is why I think people, why
- 20:05Speaker 6: Sam just is like, I'll film you.
- 20:07Speaker 3: You post this. I think a lot of the.
- 20:09Speaker 6: Stuff that she's posting, like this photo is from a
- 20:12Speaker 6: while back, just like somebody where you look great and
- 20:14Speaker 6: you're like, Oh, this is like two years ago, but
- 20:17Speaker 6: who cares? I'm going to throw it on here.
- 20:18Speaker 3: That's what I think. I think a lot.
- 20:20Speaker 6: She just needs to get the love from the Instagram people.
- 20:24Speaker 6: And she does say, I don't think I'll ever perform again.
- 20:26Speaker 6: So that was kind of interesting. Um, Okay, Real Housewives
- 20:31Speaker 6: of Atlanta was on, and they're wearing a gorgeous coral color,
- 20:35Speaker 6: and I guess everybody got their dresses made. Kind of
- 20:36Speaker 6: a lot going on with the dresses.
- 20:38Speaker 3: It was a little.
- 20:39Speaker 6: Some of it was, like, a little confusing. This one girl,
- 20:44Speaker 6: she's new to the cast. I don't really enjoy her.
- 20:46Speaker 6: She is an Olympian. But it's literally like she had
- 20:49Speaker 6: two dresses. Like, one side was high neck and, like, beaded,
- 20:52Speaker 6: and then another one was just, like, a bathing suit.
- 20:55Speaker 3: It was so weird. Anyway.
- 20:59Speaker 5: We all like to think we've got a good eye
- 21:01Speaker 5: for a winning move. But when it comes to property,
- 21:03Speaker 5: it's about seeing the bigger picture. More space. A shorter commute.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Somewhere near the sea.
- 21:10Speaker 5: On daft.ie, you can explore standout homes for sale across
- 21:14Speaker 5: South Dublin. From Ranelagh to Rathfarnham. Stillorgan to Sandy Cove.
- 21:18Speaker 5: When you're ready for the next chapter, start with Ireland's
- 21:21Speaker 5: number one property platform.
- 21:23Speaker 7: Daft.ie I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each
- 21:28Speaker 7: week on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people
- 21:31Speaker 7: who have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found
- 21:36Speaker 7: a way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 21:42Speaker 5: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 21:44Speaker 5: filed against me.
- 21:45Speaker 2: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 21:47Speaker 2: what would you do if it was given back?
- 21:50Speaker 7: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 21:53Speaker 7: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:55Speaker 2: He said, I have a work dad.
- 21:56Speaker 7: I need a home dad.
- 21:57Speaker 3: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 22:00Speaker 7: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 22:04Speaker 7: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 22:07Speaker 7: happens next.
- 22:08Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all.
- 22:10Speaker 3: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 22:11Speaker 1: You're worth the work.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Listen, Dar, I'm not going to pull punches. You can
- 22:15Speaker 2: use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 22:17Speaker 7: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 22:20Speaker 7: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 22:33Speaker 6: She by Sheree and Candy, I didn't know, weren't getting along.
- 22:36Speaker 6: But Candy posted this today, and I thought it was hilarious.
- 22:41Speaker 6: Candy said, you thought She by Sheree wasn't coming back?
- 22:44Speaker 6: Don't count your girl at She by Sheree out. Make
- 22:48Speaker 6: sure you support and purchase your at She by Sheree before.
- 22:51Speaker 3: It sells out.
- 22:52Speaker 6: Also, she is coming with a special promo code for
- 22:55Speaker 6: tonight only. Use She's Not by.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Sheen for 20% off.
- 23:05Speaker 6: So as you guys know, the She by Sheree clothes
- 23:08Speaker 6: are also being sold by She by Sheree, Amazon, and Sheen,
- 23:13Speaker 6: these certain items. So it's all from the same manufacturer,
- 23:16Speaker 6: and they're all at different prices. And She by Sheree's
- 23:19Speaker 6: prices were much, much more expensive, like $ 100 more for
- 23:23Speaker 6: the set than what you could get on Sheen. So
- 23:27Speaker 6: I don't know. But it's part one aired, and it's
- 23:30Speaker 6: pretty good, and they do look pretty. Real Housewives of
- 23:33Speaker 6: Beverly Hills was on. And Erica did not make herself
- 23:37Speaker 6: look good. And Drunk Dawn did great drawings of her.
- 23:40Speaker 6: Drunk Dawn is an Instagram you should follow. Very talented,
- 23:44Speaker 6: funny artist.
- 23:46Speaker 3: And she was just evil. And Erica's like, what? What
- 23:48Speaker 3: are you guys talking about? I don't. Because you shouldn't
- 23:53Speaker 3: be thinking about the victims, Kyle. You should only be
- 23:56Speaker 3: thinking about me. That's all I'm thinking about is me.
- 24:00Speaker 3: I don't have time to think about anybody. Who even
- 24:02Speaker 3: knows if they're victims anyway? We don't know. We don't
- 24:05Speaker 3: know if they were financial victims or not. What was
- 24:08Speaker 3: I supposed to know? I was a wife who was
- 24:11Speaker 3: done dirty, who was left on the side of the road.
- 24:16Speaker 3: And they're like, stop, stop, stop. Like, Erica, stop. It's like, Erica,
- 24:20Speaker 3: please stop it. Like, stop, stop.
- 24:23Speaker 6: And Lisa Rinna's like, I just had a gummy and
- 24:27Speaker 6: I've got to get the fuck out of here.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Come on, girl.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Let's go. Let's go. Let's get her out of here.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Let me get my. Balenciaga shawl. And they leave and
- 24:37Speaker 3: they're like, oh my God.
- 24:38Speaker 6: So meanwhile, it turns out nobody was having the fact
- 24:43Speaker 6: that Kathy Hilton is an investor in this vodka that
- 24:47Speaker 6: I didn't know was Eva Longoria's vodka.
- 24:49Speaker 3: No, sorry, tequila. It's Eva Longoria's tequila.
- 24:53Speaker 6: Do you know there's 42 celebrities or something, or maybe
- 24:56Speaker 6: There's so many that there's, it literally is like 42
- 24:59Speaker 6: because I saw a guy going and listing all the
- 25:02Speaker 6: celebrity tequilas. Anyway, this was one that he did not
- 25:05Speaker 6: like this guy, but I have not tasted it. And she,
- 25:09Speaker 6: so everyone was mean that she was trying to hawk
- 25:11Speaker 6: a tequila that she's an investor in, even though they
- 25:14Speaker 6: had all their own stuff. So Kathy's like, comes out
- 25:18Speaker 6: and she goes, normally I think tequila tastes disgusting.
- 25:23Speaker 3: I hate it.
- 25:25Speaker 6: But this tequila that I'm an investor in and Nikki
- 25:28Speaker 6: and her husband are investors in is so delicious. And then, like,
- 25:32Speaker 6: Lisa Renna, like, in this week's episode, goes up to
- 25:36Speaker 6: the bar and is like, do.
- 25:38Speaker 3: You think I could have some of that 818?
- 25:39Speaker 6: I'd like to taste my good friend Kendall Jenner's tequila 818.
- 25:45Speaker 6: And you see Kathy be like, so they tape the
- 25:50Speaker 6: reunion and Diana says, conveniently got COVID and she has to,
- 25:55Speaker 6: had to do it remote. And, um, and I don't
- 25:59Speaker 6: think Patrick Summers showed up, but I have some scoop
- 26:02Speaker 6: on that for the live show. Um, also Caroline Stansbury,
- 26:05Speaker 6: you know, you know, I wasn't into Dubai, but there
- 26:08Speaker 6: was a juicy ass moment where, um, she's at, she's there,
- 26:13Speaker 6: she's being nasty to another girl.
- 26:14Speaker 3: And the other girl goes, you were friends with Jeffrey Epstein.
- 26:17Speaker 3: And she's like, yes, I was. And Andy's like, what?
- 26:20Speaker 3: She's like, He goes, were you on the plane? Yes,
- 26:24Speaker 3: I was on the plane. I was friends with all
- 26:25Speaker 3: of them. I was friends with all of them. Like
- 26:28Speaker 3: probably friends with Prince Andrew and went to the island.
- 26:33Speaker 3: She was just like, what are you going to do
- 26:35Speaker 3: about it? And they didn't even, he didn't even pry.
- 26:37Speaker 3: He was like, oh, okay. It's like, yes, good friends
- 26:40Speaker 3: with Jeffrey Epstein, friends with all of them. Got a
- 26:44Speaker 3: problem with that?
- 26:45Speaker 6: Like, so I was like, can we just delve into
- 26:48Speaker 6: that a little bit more? Um, But also, I think
- 26:53Speaker 6: if there is evidence that she was social with them
- 26:55Speaker 6: and even went on, like, a fun vacation there, it's
- 26:58Speaker 6: probably best that she just says it like that. And
- 27:00Speaker 6: if they pry, she's like, no, I never saw any prostitutes.
- 27:03Speaker 6: But did they go on the island once?
- 27:04Speaker 2: Yes.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Did they go on the plane?
- 27:06Speaker 7: Yes.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Did they eat?
- 27:07Speaker 6: I don't know what she's going to say. I don't
- 27:09Speaker 6: think she gives a shit. And I don't think anyone
- 27:10Speaker 6: cares about this show, unfortunately. Or, well, fortunately and unfortunately.
- 27:16Speaker 6: But that's the question I hope they address soon. Like,
- 27:20Speaker 6: or at least at BravoCon.
- 27:22Speaker 3: All right, you guys. Now, for my very juicy interview,
- 27:27Speaker 3: Alex Hall, please welcome. Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 27:30Speaker 6: I have the star. I think you're the biggest star
- 27:33Speaker 6: of it. I'm not just saying that.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Of selling the OC. You guys know we are all
- 27:38Speaker 3: watching this show on Netflix. Alex Hall.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I hope so.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Welcome. Thank you for.
- 27:42Speaker 6: Driving all the way from the OC to the breezy,
- 27:46Speaker 6: cool valley.
- 27:47Speaker 3: It's been very hot. It's been very, very hot here,
- 27:50Speaker 3: so I appreciate you coming.
- 27:52Speaker 2: I'm so happy to be here.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Thank you. I'm excited to have you here, too. I
- 27:56Speaker 3: just want to know all about it. I watched the
- 27:58Speaker 3: whole season.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Did you binge it? Kind of. Or was it increments?
- 28:02Speaker 3: No, pretty much. Within a week. Yeah.
- 28:05Speaker 6: Like three here, two here. But I mean, first of all,
- 28:09Speaker 6: I don't know if you know, but I have a
- 28:11Speaker 6: real estate background.
- 28:12Speaker 4: No.
- 28:13Speaker 6: So my mom and dad were like the couple that
- 28:16Speaker 6: had bus benches that said, welcome you to Woodland Hills.
- 28:21Speaker 6: I was soliciting listings from a young age, figuring out
- 28:25Speaker 6: who was going to move.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Were you licensed working for them?
- 28:27Speaker 6: No, I was like seven. I was delivering pumpkins. We
- 28:31Speaker 6: were like, back then we really farmed an area. So
- 28:34Speaker 6: I delivered pumpkins. I've stuffed envelopes. I would like ride
- 28:38Speaker 6: my bike home from school and follow the signs to
- 28:40Speaker 6: the open house and my mom would have some food there.
- 28:42Speaker 7: Yep.
- 28:43Speaker 6: Like then when I was out of SC and pursuing acting,
- 28:47Speaker 6: then I was a full blown realtor.
- 28:49Speaker 2: While I pursued acting. Well, you like started from the
- 28:51Speaker 2: real ground up.
- 28:52Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 2: I make my kids drop for me all the time.
- 28:54Speaker 2: I'm like, I'll drive the car. You get out, put
- 28:56Speaker 2: mommy's flyers on the doorsteps. They love it. They like
- 28:59Speaker 2: being a part of it actually.
- 29:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:01Speaker 3: I mean, it's like any other family business.
- 29:05Speaker 6: If you had an Italian restaurant, you'd feel prideful about
- 29:09Speaker 6: your friends.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Why don't you go into that other Italian restaurant?
- 29:11Speaker 6: Why don't you go to my family's Italian restaurant?
- 29:13Speaker 3: Whatever. So it's like, so I love all that. I
- 29:16Speaker 3: loved selling Sunset.
- 29:19Speaker 6: And I mean, what I think is great about it
- 29:23Speaker 6: is it's a bunch of very thin Barbies.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Selling real estate. I love the fashion. I love the clothes.
- 29:31Speaker 3: I love the way it's shot. Yeah, it is It's
- 29:34Speaker 3: absolutely stunning.
- 29:36Speaker 6: Um, but I, I did get kind of sick of
- 29:39Speaker 6: seeing the exact same houses on selling sunset that they
- 29:41Speaker 6: only did the modern open outdoor living.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I've heard that.
- 29:44Speaker 6: And so I visually, I mean, I love the OC
- 29:48Speaker 6: to visit and to be at.
- 29:50Speaker 3: I love real houses of OC for that reason. So
- 29:53Speaker 3: I like.
- 29:54Speaker 6: Seeing the ocean more than I care to see the,
- 29:58Speaker 6: You know, the Hollywood Hills.
- 29:59Speaker 4: Me too.
- 29:59Speaker 3: So I guess there's that going for it. But also,
- 30:02Speaker 3: you guys are all young.
- 30:04Speaker 5: Younger.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I mean, we're not, I mean, comparatively speaking.
- 30:08Speaker 3: How young are you?
- 30:09Speaker 2: I'm 32.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Yeah, you look really young.
- 30:11Speaker 6: But I didn't, I was confused because I was like,
- 30:14Speaker 6: this girl looks like she's 30, but she's divorced with kids.
- 30:17Speaker 3: So either the plastic surgeons are really better in the O.C., No.
- 30:23Speaker 2: I mean, when I get to that age, I probably will.
- 30:26Speaker 2: I'm not against plastic surgery or injecting whatever the hell
- 30:28Speaker 2: you want into your face. But the cameras do also,
- 30:31Speaker 2: even when I saw myself on the cameras and all
- 30:34Speaker 2: of us, I was like, we look like children.
- 30:36Speaker 3: All of us.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I'm like, it flushes us out. All the lighting. Adam
- 30:40Speaker 2: DeVille did a great job with that.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:42Speaker 2: I'll tell him. I'll give him that. It is like,
- 30:45Speaker 2: you really have to cake on the makeup more because
- 30:48Speaker 2: everything gets so washed out. So it's like, okay, now
- 30:50Speaker 2: I got to start wearing... Like, heavier eyeliner because I'm
- 30:53Speaker 2: not a big makeup– I mean, everyone that grows up
- 30:55Speaker 2: by the beach usually isn't a big makeup person anyways.
- 30:58Speaker 2: And once I saw myself for the first time, I
- 30:59Speaker 2: was like, oh, my God, this is– we look– like,
- 31:01Speaker 2: if I want to be taken seriously, I have to
- 31:03Speaker 2: look a little bit older.
- 31:04Speaker 6: No, but I– I mean, I think you're very, very pretty.
- 31:07Speaker 6: But I love that you didn't have, like, the big
- 31:09Speaker 6: fake lashes and stuff. I like that you did, like,
- 31:11Speaker 6: a lighter eyeliner. I mean, I really did notice all that.
- 31:14Speaker 6: It's just– it's so funny.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Yeah, like, I really was, like– Oh.
- 31:17Speaker 6: And I kind of was like, oh, I hope next
- 31:18Speaker 6: season she doesn't have those fucking bat wings on her eyes.
- 31:23Speaker 3: That's not me.
- 31:24Speaker 2: There were some times when we did our makeup for
- 31:26Speaker 2: an event.
- 31:27Speaker 3: So would you get... Okay, so first let's start from
- 31:29Speaker 3: the beginning. Sure. So when did you get married to
- 31:34Speaker 3: have these kids so young?
- 31:35Speaker 2: Very young. I was 12. No. I got married when
- 31:37Speaker 2: I was 20. I met my husband when I was 18,
- 31:41Speaker 2: and we got pregnant, and... I literally went from, he
- 31:45Speaker 2: was 23 at the time and I was 18 and
- 31:48Speaker 2: I was like so infatuated with him.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Older guy, cool car. And you grew up in the OC?
- 31:53Speaker 2: I grew up, I moved to Orange County when I
- 31:54Speaker 2: was 15 with my family.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Okay.
- 31:56Speaker 2: And a lot of my.
- 31:57Speaker 6: From where?
- 31:57Speaker 2: From Northern California.
- 31:58Speaker 4: Okay.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Very small little farm town in Northern California. Very humble beginnings. And, um,
- 32:04Speaker 2: when I moved here, you know, it was very different.
- 32:08Speaker 2: And I met this, I met him at 18. So
- 32:10Speaker 2: a few years later, um, And I developed a really,
- 32:13Speaker 2: really strong group of friends when I lived here. And
- 32:16Speaker 2: everyone kind of sporadically moved off to college. And when
- 32:19Speaker 2: I was back home, I met him at a high
- 32:22Speaker 2: school football game. In Northern California? No, here in Orange
- 32:25Speaker 2: County at Dana Hills, my old high school. Everyone was
- 32:27Speaker 2: back in town for Thanksgiving. If anything better than the
- 32:32Speaker 2: Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Nothing is better.
- 32:35Speaker 3: If you are single and under 30, Or over. It
- 32:40Speaker 3: doesn't matter. And you go home.
- 32:41Speaker 2: For the holidays.
- 32:42Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 32:42Speaker 3: And you don't go to local bars that Wednesday. Yep.
- 32:47Speaker 3: And at least get fingered. I will not be your friend.
- 32:51Speaker 3: It is the best.
- 32:52Speaker 7: Yes.
- 32:53Speaker 3: So you went.
- 32:54Speaker 2: So we did it every year. I missed out on
- 32:56Speaker 2: a lot once I got pregnant. That tradition still stays alive.
- 32:58Speaker 3: But I didn't do it anymore. So at 20, you
- 33:01Speaker 3: live in.
- 33:03Speaker 6: Orange County, what are you doing for an occupation at
- 33:06Speaker 6: that time?
- 33:07Speaker 2: I had my daughter at the time.
- 33:10Speaker 3: No, no, but you said you got pregnant at 20.
- 33:12Speaker 2: I got pregnant at 18.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Oh, you got pregnant at 18.
- 33:14Speaker 2: So met him at 18, got pregnant at 18, three
- 33:17Speaker 2: months after meeting him.
- 33:19Speaker 3: So you graduated from high school? Yes. But you were
- 33:22Speaker 3: not going away to college?
- 33:23Speaker 2: So I was meant to go away to college. Those
- 33:26Speaker 2: plans got, you know, a little bit intervened. Oh, really?
- 33:28Speaker 3: Where were you going to go? UCLA. UCLA.
- 33:31Speaker 2: And I had a whole plan. Like, I had a plan. Oh, interesting.
- 33:35Speaker 3: And then I got pregnant.
- 33:37Speaker 2: And I've always wanted to be a mom. Like, since
- 33:40Speaker 2: I was the kid holding the fake baby to the
- 33:42Speaker 2: restaurant every time we left the house. Yeah, yeah. So
- 33:45Speaker 2: that was me. And so 18, got pregnant, went.
- 33:48Speaker 6: From— So he— Okay, so you— Oh, okay. And so
- 33:52Speaker 6: you met at that Wednesday thing.
- 33:54Speaker 2: He's an Orange County local. I just didn't know him.
- 33:56Speaker 3: And what was he doing at 20?
- 33:57Speaker 2: In college. He was at UCI going.
- 34:00Speaker 3: To school to be an attorney.
- 34:01Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 34:01Speaker 3: UC Irvine. Yeah.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Oh, okay. And we think we're so old then. I'm like,
- 34:05Speaker 2: I'm 18. He's 23. Now I look back. I'm like, oh,
- 34:07Speaker 2: my God. We were such children.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:09Speaker 2: And I literally went from living with my parents in
- 34:12Speaker 2: their home, getting more pregnant and more pregnant and more pregnant,
- 34:16Speaker 2: to going into labor with my best friend sitting in
- 34:20Speaker 2: bed next to me and my parents across the hallway
- 34:22Speaker 2: in their room. I go into labor, go to the hospital,
- 34:25Speaker 2: three days later have a baby, and I go home
- 34:28Speaker 2: with him, with my baby daddy. And we move in
- 34:31Speaker 2: together for the first time with a three-day-old baby and
- 34:36Speaker 2: know nothing about each other.
- 34:37Speaker 3: Okay, but wait a minute. How do you tell your
- 34:39Speaker 3: parents that you're pregnant? How did you find out you
- 34:40Speaker 3: were pregnant?
- 34:42Speaker 2: I found out I was pregnant because I missed my period.
- 34:44Speaker 5: Okay.
- 34:45Speaker 2: And I just knew. I had this... I just knew.
- 34:47Speaker 2: And I mean, I was on birth control, which I'm not...
- 34:50Speaker 2: I'm not a huge fan of birth control anymore. But
- 34:52Speaker 2: at the time, really weird story. Swear to God, this
- 34:55Speaker 2: is true. I was in his car, went to go
- 34:58Speaker 2: take my pill. Because you have to take it at
- 34:59Speaker 2: the same time every day.
- 35:00Speaker 4: Right.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:01Speaker 2: And it dropped down his seat. And I was like,
- 35:04Speaker 2: don't forget to remind me to get that. We both
- 35:06Speaker 2: remember it like it was yesterday. And he's like, okay,
- 35:09Speaker 2: I won't. Next thing you know, we're home, whatever. Whatever.
- 35:12Speaker 2: Didn't take the pill. Got pregnant.
- 35:15Speaker 3: And then you took the pill the next day.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Two of them. Had to take both pills. You have
- 35:19Speaker 2: to take that pill the next day.
- 35:21Speaker 5: Right.
- 35:21Speaker 2: And it did. Got pregnant.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Literally.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I was fertile, man. So I was like, it's meant
- 35:26Speaker 2: to be.
- 35:27Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 35:27Speaker 2: And she's the best thing that's ever happened to me.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Of course.
- 35:29Speaker 2: I mean.
- 35:29Speaker 3: Of course.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 35:30Speaker 3: So how did he react when you told him?
- 35:32Speaker 2: He was like, well, what do you want to do?
- 35:35Speaker 2: He was very supportive. And I said, well, I don't
- 35:38Speaker 2: know yet. Because we found out before you could even
- 35:41Speaker 2: get an ultrasound. It was so early. And the next
- 35:44Speaker 2: thing I know, I'm coming over to his parents' house.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Mind you, I've only known this man three months. And
- 35:50Speaker 2: he's Cuban background, so our families get on pretty well.
- 35:54Speaker 2: And his mom's got no grandchildren on either sides of
- 35:58Speaker 2: our family. And his mom's got a big Nordstrom box.
- 36:01Speaker 2: And she's like, this is for you.
- 36:03Speaker 3: I'm like, what?
- 36:04Speaker 2: What's happening? I open it up, and it's a baby,
- 36:07Speaker 2: a white baby. little giraffe baby blanket. And I'm like, oh.
- 36:13Speaker 3: So he had told him. Keeping the baby. Yeah, and
- 36:15Speaker 3: so he had told him.
- 36:15Speaker 2: He had told his mom. And I was like, well,
- 36:18Speaker 2: I'm like, well, great. Like, this is honestly like what
- 36:21Speaker 2: I wanted, but I was taking time to think about it.
- 36:24Speaker 3: And then knowing he was on board.
- 36:26Speaker 6: There was no heartbreak for you to not pursue a
- 36:30Speaker 6: traditional college.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Anything in my life, no. That was, no.
- 36:32Speaker 3: That's awesome.
- 36:34Speaker 2: But I think when you're so young, because I have
- 36:35Speaker 2: looked back, and even now, thinking if I want more children,
- 36:39Speaker 2: there's so much more to weigh. At that age, I
- 36:42Speaker 2: was just like, you're so naive and you're just so
- 36:46Speaker 2: in the moment. I didn't think, it was never an
- 36:49Speaker 2: idea like, will this, what am I trading? It was just,
- 36:53Speaker 2: I want to be a mom and I can do
- 36:56Speaker 2: whatever I want with still having a child. You know,
- 36:59Speaker 2: I just wanted to make sure that he would be,
- 37:01Speaker 2: I didn't want to have a baby necessarily without a
- 37:03Speaker 2: father figure. So if he would have been like, you
- 37:05Speaker 2: know what, I'm not going to be in this child's
- 37:06Speaker 2: life and I'm not going to, not for me and
- 37:09Speaker 2: for help. I have a huge, I have family support,
- 37:11Speaker 2: but for her, I was thinking I wouldn't want to
- 37:13Speaker 2: bring a child into this, into this world already knowing
- 37:16Speaker 2: you're not going to have a father figure. So once
- 37:18Speaker 2: I knew he was on board, um, everything just changed.
- 37:22Speaker 2: And I mean, we didn't move in together before I
- 37:23Speaker 2: had the baby. He was out partying. He was 23
- 37:25Speaker 2: and I was 18. I couldn't even go out if
- 37:27Speaker 2: I wanted to.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Could he support you?
- 37:29Speaker 2: He, so he was still in law school. We had,
- 37:31Speaker 2: we had support from my family. He had a, but
- 37:33Speaker 2: he did have a very successful business, which I ended
- 37:36Speaker 2: up working for while I was pregnant. It was a
- 37:38Speaker 2: translating business.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Very, very, very from English to Spanish.
- 37:42Speaker 6: Yes.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:44Speaker 2: So, um, I did that while, I mean, we lived
- 37:47Speaker 2: together and he was still in school.
- 37:48Speaker 3: And, Do you speak Spanish? No.
- 37:51Speaker 2: He speaks Spanish fluently. But it was a really good
- 37:55Speaker 2: way to support ourselves.
- 37:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 37:58Speaker 2: And it did the trick because I could work from
- 38:00Speaker 2: home and take care of the baby. And I was
- 38:02Speaker 2: at my mom's every single day. I was with my grandmother,
- 38:05Speaker 2: with my sister. And then as things evolved, you know,
- 38:09Speaker 2: we had– I was like, well, I would love to
- 38:10Speaker 2: have another baby. So we had another baby, thinking we're
- 38:13Speaker 2: never going to get divorced. Then my– My adorable son
- 38:19Speaker 2: was born. And I thought to myself, I'm going to
- 38:22Speaker 2: have two kids now. I've got nothing under my belt.
- 38:25Speaker 2: I've got no degree, no work experience besides family business.
- 38:30Speaker 2: So I was like, what can I do where I
- 38:32Speaker 2: can be my own boss and make money? And I thought, okay,
- 38:37Speaker 2: where can I get an easy license? I thought I
- 38:39Speaker 2: could be a vet technician because I love animals. But
- 38:42Speaker 2: then I was like, I don't want to deal with
- 38:43Speaker 2: killing animals and poop all day. And so I got
- 38:46Speaker 2: my real estate license. I literally, my mom drove me
- 38:49Speaker 2: to Irvine at nine and a half, nine months pregnant,
- 38:53Speaker 2: almost popping. She's like, you can't drive yourself. I waddled in.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I took my real estate exam because I was like,
- 38:58Speaker 2: once I have two kids, I'm never going to do it.
- 39:00Speaker 2: I'm going to get so busy. Got my license. And
- 39:03Speaker 2: after he was born, I couldn't handle another like mommy
- 39:06Speaker 2: play date situation and talking about like sleep cycles and breastfeeding.
- 39:11Speaker 2: And I said, I got to, I got to work.
- 39:13Speaker 2: I have to have adult interaction. I have to have
- 39:16Speaker 2: like a business side of me. So I, the rest
- 39:19Speaker 2: is history.
- 39:20Speaker 3: So then you started working as a realtor.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:23Speaker 6: And, and so then that was how many years ago?
- 39:26Speaker 2: So I got my license in 2014.
- 39:26Speaker 6: Okay.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Yeah. And so then, what happened with the demise of
- 39:31Speaker 3: the marriage?
- 39:32Speaker 2: I mean, we were so young. I feel like in
- 39:36Speaker 2: a relationship, you're supposed to grow like this.
- 39:38Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 39:38Speaker 2: And we just grew like this. And he was gone
- 39:40Speaker 2: so much trying to build his career. And I was
- 39:45Speaker 2: home with the kids. And then I wanted to build
- 39:46Speaker 2: my career. And we really didn't have– we did not
- 39:49Speaker 2: have a solid foundation.
- 39:51Speaker 3: When did you know? Did you have an aha moment
- 39:53Speaker 3: where you're like, you know what? This isn't going to
- 39:56Speaker 3: be forever?
- 39:58Speaker 2: I did, but I pushed it down because it broke
- 40:03Speaker 2: my heart so badly for my children.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:05Speaker 2: So I was like, here's what I can do. I
- 40:07Speaker 2: can hang on for 18 years or, you know, at
- 40:11Speaker 2: this point more than 18 because I had two. I
- 40:13Speaker 2: can hang on for the next 20-some years and be–
- 40:15Speaker 2: and I had a good life. Like, I had a
- 40:17Speaker 2: good life for my kids. And, you know, from the
- 40:19Speaker 2: outside perspective, I didn't want for anything. But I wanted–
- 40:25Speaker 2: I was like, I want to be in love with
- 40:27Speaker 2: my partner. And I want to have that. And I
- 40:31Speaker 2: thought it's never a good time to get divorced, ever.
- 40:34Speaker 2: And we tried therapy. And we both really, really, really
- 40:37Speaker 2: wanted it for the children. But it just– That's not enough.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Wasn't enough.
- 40:42Speaker 3: And so, so was the divorce amicable or not?
- 40:45Speaker 2: I mean, I, we didn't, I didn't even get an attorney.
- 40:47Speaker 2: We hired a mediator and we sat in a room
- 40:48Speaker 2: like this and we're like, are you at the bed?
- 40:50Speaker 2: I get the rug. And that was it. We just
- 40:53Speaker 2: wanted to keep it amicable because we have to raise
- 40:56Speaker 2: our children together for the rest of our lives.
- 40:57Speaker 3: And do you get support? Financial support?
- 40:59Speaker 2: I don't get support, but I get, I mean, he's
- 41:01Speaker 2: very present in their lives.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Really? So you're like, I don't, I can just.
- 41:06Speaker 2: I did. I did get support. But at this point
- 41:09Speaker 2: where we're at, it's, it, It's even. It's even. Oh, okay, cool.
- 41:13Speaker 2: You know what I mean? But he also is with
- 41:16Speaker 2: them now 50% of the time.
- 41:19Speaker 3: Wow, you're really lucky.
- 41:21Speaker 2: We're both. He's also very lucky.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Trust me. Yeah, he is too.
- 41:25Speaker 2: He got off very, very easily. And I was probably
- 41:28Speaker 2: too naive. But I was like, I just want to
- 41:32Speaker 2: stay friends.
- 41:33Speaker 3: So how old were you when you were single again?
- 41:35Speaker 7: 26.
- 41:35Speaker 6: And so you're single again.
- 41:38Speaker 3: You're doing the real estate thing.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 41:41Speaker 6: And, and now, so, so what happens between you just
- 41:45Speaker 6: being a realtor, single woman?
- 41:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Did you watch Selling Sunset?
- 41:49Speaker 2: No, that didn't even come out until years later. I mean,
- 41:52Speaker 2: 26 was, you know, seven years ago, six years ago.
- 41:54Speaker 3: So for a couple of years, you're just doing your thing.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:57Speaker 3: Dating.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Trying to date. And honestly, kind of just the whirlwind,
- 42:04Speaker 2: like Alex, you literally, you just got divorced. This is
- 42:07Speaker 2: a huge thing. And I've got one kid still in diapers. Now,
- 42:13Speaker 2: I mean, is dating really a priority? And do you
- 42:17Speaker 2: have time for it? Because if you do, then your
- 42:19Speaker 2: work is going to go on the back burner. So
- 42:21Speaker 2: it was really, really hard to juggle. And I had
- 42:25Speaker 2: to make a decision, you know, career or finding the
- 42:29Speaker 2: love of my life. And it might happen organically, but
- 42:32Speaker 2: I had to choose my career. And I did date.
- 42:36Speaker 3: I did date. Was it hard? Was it?
- 42:39Speaker 6: Hard to find clients because you were so pretty and young.
- 42:42Speaker 6: And like, I mean, it's hard to find people that
- 42:43Speaker 6: have that kind of money. That's like taking your, like, yeah.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Yeah. There was a lot of wasted time. And I
- 42:50Speaker 2: had a fantastic mentor, a fantastic broker at the time. And, um,
- 42:54Speaker 2: who really, really, really, I mean, said it how it was.
- 42:57Speaker 2: He's like, don't, and no excuses. Cause I would say, Oh,
- 43:01Speaker 2: cause I got into a trap where I would, these
- 43:02Speaker 2: people would come into my open houses and they're like, Oh, Well, yeah,
- 43:06Speaker 2: I've got, you know, a $ 10 million budget. Drive me
- 43:08Speaker 2: around for a month and I'll make an offer. There's
- 43:11Speaker 2: no offer. You're not married. You just want to get
- 43:13Speaker 2: me in the car and spend time with you. So
- 43:15Speaker 2: that's why I'm very, very.
- 43:16Speaker 3: I am like, no.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Where's the proof of funds? And like, let's get right
- 43:22Speaker 2: to business.
- 43:23Speaker 6: You know, what's funny is I am very into like
- 43:25Speaker 6: crime and stuff. And I interviewed the former prosecutor of Newport,
- 43:28Speaker 6: Matt Murphy, about the crimes that have happened in Newport.
- 43:31Speaker 3: And.
- 43:32Speaker 6: One of them involved a woman having her lover kill
- 43:37Speaker 6: her fiancé and then hoping to get all this money.
- 43:41Speaker 6: And before they were caught, or immediately right after the
- 43:44Speaker 6: guy was killed, they were going looking at houses. Or
- 43:48Speaker 6: right before they were looking at houses.
- 43:49Speaker 3: And he goes, every time there's a crime for money,
- 43:53Speaker 3: which is like an extra offense, like kill for money,
- 43:56Speaker 3: he's like, it always involves a realtor. And I go,
- 44:00Speaker 3: as if realtors don't have it bad enough. They're now, like.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Now involved in high crime.
- 44:05Speaker 3: But I also think it's just someone's, like, weird fantasy.
- 44:08Speaker 2: It is definitely.
- 44:09Speaker 3: And they don't realize that... Like, I've gone to.
- 44:11Speaker 6: One thing I hate is when I've gone to, like,
- 44:13Speaker 6: a therapy... Not therapy, like a motivational thing.
- 44:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 44:18Speaker 3: And they're like, fake it till you make it.
- 44:20Speaker 7: Yes.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Dress the part. Yeah. You know, go drive that car
- 44:23Speaker 3: that you want. And I go, but the person that's
- 44:25Speaker 3: selling the car... Is wasting the time driving you around.
- 44:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:29Speaker 3: Like, no, don't waste someone's time. Like, do a vision board.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Yeah, do your vision board.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Don't waste some other hardworking person's time.
- 44:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 44:37Speaker 6: Like, I think people get off on the fantasy of
- 44:39Speaker 6: thinking that you're also getting excited.
- 44:42Speaker 5: Right.
- 44:43Speaker 2: For sure.
- 44:43Speaker 6: Thinking that you have a really rich client when they know.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Well, that's why I don't get excited. I don't, I mean,
- 44:49Speaker 2: unless escrow is closed and I've got a check in my,
- 44:52Speaker 2: I'm also very superstitious, but. I'm, and it's like, where
- 44:56Speaker 2: are the money producing activities? What am I doing that's actually,
- 44:59Speaker 2: is it driving single guys around for a month looking
- 45:02Speaker 2: at $ 10 million mansions without getting.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Proof of funds? What about, okay, so obviously you're very attractive,
- 45:08Speaker 3: great figure.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Most agents are though. That's also why we're a, we're
- 45:11Speaker 2: a target. Like, let me go into this open house.
- 45:13Speaker 2: I'm a single man and I want to date somebody attractive.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Let me go into this open house and it, there's
- 45:17Speaker 2: a 80% chance it might be an attractive female.
- 45:20Speaker 5: Right.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean?
- 45:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 45:22Speaker 3: And so, um, How does that– like give.
- 45:26Speaker 6: Me some of the flirty things because I remember doing–
- 45:28Speaker 6: falling into this trap too back in the day.
- 45:31Speaker 2: When you were seven?
- 45:32Speaker 3: Yeah. No, when I was like 20.
- 45:34Speaker 6: No, when I was like 23 or 24, my parents
- 45:36Speaker 6: were very excited that I was pursuing it with them.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Right, right.
- 45:41Speaker 6: And so they would like pay for the ad to
- 45:43Speaker 6: have me like in the paper and stuff.
- 45:45Speaker 8: So cute.
- 45:45Speaker 3: And then– and I had like.
- 45:47Speaker 6: A good headshot at the time. I mean nothing– as
- 45:50Speaker 6: pretty as you, but whatever. At the time there weren't
- 45:53Speaker 6: that many young people that were doing it. Most everybody
- 45:55Speaker 6: was like an old person. So it was like, and
- 45:58Speaker 6: so we'd get these calls and my, and I'd hear
- 46:00Speaker 6: my mom like on the phone being like, Oh.
- 46:04Speaker 3: I thank you. That's my daughter.
- 46:05Speaker 2: She's gorgeous.
- 46:06Speaker 4: Yes.
- 46:07Speaker 3: Well, you know, you should see her how she's five, nine. And, um,
- 46:11Speaker 3: Oh yeah. And like I would go on and I'm like.
- 46:14Speaker 2: You're pimping me out. Yes, you're completely.
- 46:16Speaker 3: Pimping me out.
- 46:17Speaker 6: And I'm like, she's like, would you like her to
- 46:19Speaker 6: show you homes on Mulholland? I think there's a vacant one.
- 46:21Speaker 6: Would you like her to wear a skirt?
- 46:22Speaker 2: I'm like, what the fuck is this? What kind of
- 46:24Speaker 2: shoes do you like? She can do anything.
- 46:26Speaker 3: Yeah, a little bit.
- 46:27Speaker 2: That is funny.
- 46:28Speaker 3: So, yes, I do think. But were you ever kind
- 46:31Speaker 3: of like.
- 46:33Speaker 6: Like you meet a guy and he is pretending or
- 46:35Speaker 6: maybe he is really rich and you're like, okay, this
- 46:37Speaker 6: is kind of fun.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Maybe I can get a sale and date him.
- 46:40Speaker 2: I would be had I ever met... This might come
- 46:43Speaker 2: as a shock to you and it's actually shocking to
- 46:44Speaker 2: me at this point in my career. I have yet
- 46:48Speaker 2: to meet somebody who I've wanted, like has got me excited,
- 46:54Speaker 2: who's come in and been checked the boxes and also
- 46:57Speaker 2: is rich. I haven't met. They're always... Either they're fake
- 47:02Speaker 2: or they don't fit the part aesthetically or they don't
- 47:06Speaker 2: fit the– there's not that many attractive, funny, smart, kind guys.
- 47:14Speaker 3: Super rich. Yeah.
- 47:15Speaker 2: That are out– they're like, hey, my best friend's a realtor.
- 47:18Speaker 2: I'm using him. You know what I mean? It's not– Right.
- 47:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Trust me. I've met plenty of men who– are suitable candidates,
- 47:24Speaker 2: but they're not the ones walking through the door at
- 47:25Speaker 2: my open house, you know?
- 47:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 47:27Speaker 2: I've literally had the creepiest things happen, too, like, because
- 47:29Speaker 2: our photos are on these websites, our headshots. So they've
- 47:33Speaker 2: got our name, our phone number, our emails. They know
- 47:35Speaker 2: what listings we have. When you think about it, it
- 47:38Speaker 2: is kind of beyond creepy. I had a guy call
- 47:40Speaker 2: me one time over and over and over and over again,
- 47:42Speaker 2: same guy, always a blocked number, in the beginning of
- 47:47Speaker 2: my career, and would tell me every time, same story,
- 47:49Speaker 2: we met at an open house, and you gave me
- 47:51Speaker 2: your phone number because you told me that I could
- 47:54Speaker 2: take you on a date. And after like the fourth time,
- 47:56Speaker 2: like I've never given my phone number to anybody at
- 47:59Speaker 2: an open house to tell them I can, they can
- 48:01Speaker 2: take me on a date ever. So right off the bat,
- 48:03Speaker 2: I know you're lying. And then it continued and continued
- 48:05Speaker 2: and continued. I'm like, dude, I know who you are.
- 48:09Speaker 2: You call me like every three months, just stop. Had
- 48:11Speaker 2: another guy call me, random number, tell me he followed
- 48:15Speaker 2: me into the restroom at my office and offered me
- 48:20Speaker 2: money to defecate on him. Wait.
- 48:25Speaker 8: What?
- 48:26Speaker 2: Not the Oppenheim office. This was many, many years ago,
- 48:28Speaker 2: a different brokerage. And I thought it was a prank call,
- 48:31Speaker 2: so I was dying laughing. I was like thinking it
- 48:32Speaker 2: was one of my friends.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Yeah. He calls you? You
- 48:35Speaker 3: said he followed you into the office. I'm confused.
- 48:37Speaker 2: He said he was the janitor at my office and says,
- 48:41Speaker 2: and I go into the bathroom after you leave the bathroom.
- 48:45Speaker 2: And I'm like, first of all, I've never number two'd
- 48:47Speaker 2: in my office restroom ever. Wait, so the guy calls
- 48:50Speaker 2: you and.
- 48:51Speaker 3: He goes, By the way, I'm the janitor at the
- 48:54Speaker 3: so-and-so's realtors.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:56Speaker 3: And what I like to do is after you use
- 48:58Speaker 3: the bathroom, I go in and what? Do something gross?
- 49:02Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 49:02Speaker 3: And then he said, I will pay you how much?
- 49:04Speaker 2: He didn't, I didn't have enough. And he goes, I'd
- 49:06Speaker 2: like to pay. I think I actually asked because I
- 49:07Speaker 2: thought it was a joke and I was like, how much?
- 49:08Speaker 2: And then I realized he wasn't joking and I got
- 49:10Speaker 2: really creeped out. So I called my broker at the
- 49:12Speaker 2: time and I said, okay, I thought it was a
- 49:15Speaker 2: joke and now I'm getting really creeped out because I
- 49:17Speaker 2: don't think it's a joke. Some guy said, and he
- 49:19Speaker 2: took it. way more seriously than I did. He was like,
- 49:22Speaker 2: this is, because he knows. I mean, he's been a
- 49:24Speaker 2: broker for decades.
- 49:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 49:26Speaker 2: And he knows how creepy this business can be from
- 49:29Speaker 2: the opposite side. And he was like, immediately calling everyone
- 49:34Speaker 2: he could that owned the building and he, within like
- 49:37Speaker 2: 20 minutes, he called me back and he was like,
- 49:39Speaker 2: it can't be some, but a janitor because we don't
- 49:40Speaker 2: have any male janitors that work. They're all female. So
- 49:44Speaker 2: I was like, I don't know if I'm more creeped
- 49:45Speaker 2: out or less creeped out. I'm never definitely using the
- 49:47Speaker 2: bathroom at the office ever again. Yeah. But just so weird.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Obviously that guy found my number on a website and
- 49:55Speaker 2: going into this business, even I'm, I can be very
- 49:57Speaker 2: naive and even door, like I'll knock on any door.
- 50:01Speaker 2: And I, for the first four years, I never carried
- 50:03Speaker 2: pepper spray. I never, people invite you in. I'm like, yes,
- 50:06Speaker 2: got in, you know, it, And.
- 50:08Speaker 6: So for people that don't know what the door knocking thing.
- 50:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:12Speaker 6: That's where like you literally go into a neighborhood that
- 50:15Speaker 6: you think could be possibly one that you could work at.
- 50:18Speaker 7: Right.
- 50:18Speaker 6: And I would think you'd go to the less of
- 50:20Speaker 6: the mansion ones and more of like where there's actually
- 50:23Speaker 6: someone going to be there or.
- 50:25Speaker 2: I've had. I mean, honestly. No, because the bigger ones
- 50:30Speaker 2: in my experience. OK. Here's a tip to everybody.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 50:34Speaker 2: They're not used to getting their door... People have that perception.
- 50:36Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 50:37Speaker 2: And so guess what? If a hundred agents are knocking
- 50:39Speaker 2: the door where it looks like, you know, Betty and
- 50:42Speaker 2: Bill are going to be home and nowhere where this whoever,
- 50:44Speaker 2: this mansion, they're actually... nicer when you come to the
- 50:48Speaker 2: door because no one ever has the balls to knock
- 50:50Speaker 2: on their door. It didn't get through the gate and
- 50:51Speaker 2: security and all that stuff.
- 50:52Speaker 6: Whenever we're like going around like the OC or any like,
- 50:55Speaker 6: you know, area and it's every house has been redone
- 50:58Speaker 6: and it's gorgeous and then you see that one story
- 51:01Speaker 6: we call the grandma house.
- 51:02Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 51:03Speaker 6: And my sons and I now we all say it
- 51:04Speaker 6: because we're like, we'll go by and we're like, how
- 51:07Speaker 6: many visits does that person get a day?
- 51:10Speaker 3: Oh, I meet the nicest people. They come in for tea.
- 51:12Speaker 2: But they do and they talk. Also a lesson, those
- 51:15Speaker 2: people will talk your ear off. They're never going to
- 51:18Speaker 2: sell their house. Because the heirs are like, grandma. They'll
- 51:20Speaker 2: talk to you forever.
- 51:21Speaker 3: Grandma, you're not listing the house.
- 51:23Speaker 2: Exactly. But they love company. You get to a certain agent.
- 51:26Speaker 2: I can't blame them. I would be the same way.
- 51:27Speaker 2: I'd be like, what agent's going to knock on my
- 51:29Speaker 2: door today and have tea with me?
- 51:30Speaker 6: But I'm like, how many people are dying to get
- 51:31Speaker 6: this listing that like every developer would want? Never.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Honestly, 99.9% chance it's never going to happen. It'll go
- 51:37Speaker 2: into a trust. It's in a trust and it'll. She's like,
- 51:39Speaker 2: I want to die happy in my home, and that's it.
- 51:41Speaker 2: And the kids or grandchildren will get the house.
- 51:43Speaker 3: Yeah, and then the 55-year-old heirs will fight over it.
- 51:46Speaker 2: Which is a nightmare.
- 51:47Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 51:48Speaker 2: You know, funny story. Speaking of mansions and speaking, you
- 51:51Speaker 2: said your friend was Kelly, correct?
- 51:54Speaker 3: Yes, yeah.
- 51:55Speaker 2: And if it's the same person I'm thinking of, she
- 51:57Speaker 2: was on The Housewives, correct? Yes, yes. Okay, and she's
- 52:01Speaker 2: a spicy one, right?
- 52:02Speaker 8: Right, yeah.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Okay, so I'm not sure if it's the same person,
- 52:03Speaker 2: but I think it is. You have to see a
- 52:04Speaker 2: picture of her. I knocked on her door. Years ago.
- 52:08Speaker 3: When she was near the beach?
- 52:10Speaker 2: Right on the water.
- 52:10Speaker 3: Yes.
- 52:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 52:11Speaker 2: And not her door specifically, but I was knocking that
- 52:13Speaker 2: whole street.
- 52:14Speaker 3: Right.
- 52:15Speaker 2: And I was, I pulled, I, I, I walked up,
- 52:17Speaker 2: you know, in my little, my little high heels and
- 52:19Speaker 2: I look over and there's all these super nice cars outside,
- 52:22Speaker 2: like a Lamborghini. And there's a whole like camera crew.
- 52:24Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, something's going on. That's awkward.
- 52:26Speaker 2: Maybe I shouldn't knock on the door. And then I'm thinking, Alex,
- 52:28Speaker 2: go knock on the door. Don't be stupid.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:31Speaker 2: And she, and as I'm walking to her door, she
- 52:33Speaker 2: walks out and she's like, who are you? And I
- 52:36Speaker 2: was like, Alex, I just wanted to talk to you
- 52:39Speaker 2: about your house. And she's like, can't you see I'm filming?
- 52:42Speaker 2: And she was not feeling it. And I was like,
- 52:44Speaker 2: I respect that. I would probably do the same thing.
- 52:46Speaker 2: And she's like, can't you see I'm filming? Get out
- 52:49Speaker 2: of here. And I was like, ah! That was aggressive.
- 52:52Speaker 2: And I literally walked away. And I remember thinking, she
- 52:56Speaker 2: looks so familiar. And I thought how funny it was.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Cause then I, I remember her being from the housewives
- 53:02Speaker 2: of orange County.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:03Speaker 2: And I was like, gosh, Alex, like lesson learned. Don't
- 53:05Speaker 2: ever go up to a house when there's like a
- 53:07Speaker 2: camera crew and you're like, obviously they were working or
- 53:10Speaker 2: doing something, but I'm so naive. I just thought it
- 53:12Speaker 2: was really funny because.
- 53:13Speaker 3: So let's get into it. So were you a fan
- 53:16Speaker 3: of reality TV?
- 53:17Speaker 6: Like, were you someone that saw yourself ever doing this or,
- 53:20Speaker 6: enjoyed it as you didn't watch it really?
- 53:23Speaker 3: No.
- 53:23Speaker 2: So I used to watch it maybe like my mom
- 53:25Speaker 2: and my sister are big reality TV girls. And so
- 53:29Speaker 2: maybe when my kids were younger, you know, in diapers
- 53:32Speaker 2: and I would go over and hang out with them,
- 53:33Speaker 2: they'd have it on and I, you kind of get,
- 53:35Speaker 2: it's hard not to get sucked into. Um, but I'm
- 53:37Speaker 2: more of like, I'll do movies and I'll do like crime,
- 53:41Speaker 2: crime shows, stuff like that. Um, but I never in
- 53:44Speaker 2: a million years thought.
- 53:45Speaker 6: So then how did they, how did you hear that
- 53:47Speaker 6: they were looking to do something similar in the OC?
- 53:51Speaker 2: They called.
- 53:52Speaker 3: They just called you because they saw your face.
- 53:54Speaker 2: They called. I actually don't know the story to this day.
- 53:56Speaker 3: They called and you're like, I'm not shitting on anyone.
- 53:59Speaker 7: Wait.
- 53:59Speaker 3: We want you for a reality show, Alex. I will
- 54:02Speaker 3: not shit on you. Exactly.
- 54:05Speaker 2: And I actually thought it was a joke because seven years,
- 54:08Speaker 2: eight years in the business, I've had other people randomly
- 54:12Speaker 2: call and say, we want to do a reality show.
- 54:14Speaker 2: And I'm like, okay, join. How many reality shows can
- 54:18Speaker 2: there be about real estate in Orange County? And there's
- 54:20Speaker 2: a few that have. happened and kind of flopped and whatnot.
- 54:23Speaker 2: So I'm like, it's not going to happen. So when
- 54:26Speaker 2: the producer called me of this with this idea, I
- 54:29Speaker 2: thought it was just another one. I didn't realize that
- 54:30Speaker 2: they were actually big producers.
- 54:32Speaker 6: So when they said it had the selling, the selling
- 54:35Speaker 6: sunset come out by then.
- 54:37Speaker 7: Oh yeah.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:37Speaker 3: But you weren't familiar with it.
- 54:39Speaker 2: And that's what he, so he called me again.
- 54:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:42Speaker 2: And I said, okay, I'll get back to you, you know, whatever.
- 54:43Speaker 2: And then he called me again and he said, he
- 54:46Speaker 2: had a different sales pitch. He was like, have you
- 54:48Speaker 2: ever heard of the show selling sunset?
- 54:49Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 54:50Speaker 2: I said, yes. And he goes, okay, so that, I said,
- 54:53Speaker 2: and he said, have you ever seen it? I said, no,
- 54:54Speaker 2: I've never seen it. But obviously I've heard of it.
- 54:56Speaker 2: I'm not going to live under a rock. And then
- 54:58Speaker 2: he said, what about the hills and Laguna Beach? I said, obviously. Yeah,
- 55:02Speaker 2: I used to watch Laguna Beach growing up all the time,
- 55:04Speaker 2: especially because I was living in this small little farm
- 55:06Speaker 2: town at the time. We would literally have designated like
- 55:08Speaker 2: Tuesday nights and all the girls get together with popcorn
- 55:10Speaker 2: and watch Laguna Beach.
- 55:11Speaker 3: And would that make you want to move to the OC?
- 55:13Speaker 2: Oh, everyone thought when I was 15 and moving to Laguna,
- 55:17Speaker 2: Laguna Niguel, mind you, not Laguna Beach, they were like,
- 55:20Speaker 2: Alex Hall's going to be on the show Laguna Beach.
- 55:23Speaker 2: And I was like, it doesn't work that way. First
- 55:24Speaker 2: of all, that show's not even airing anymore. And I'm
- 55:26Speaker 2: not going to Laguna Beach. I'm going to Laguna Niguel.
- 55:28Speaker 2: It's different. But coming from a small town like that,
- 55:31Speaker 2: everybody thought that's just what happened. Like, you go to
- 55:34Speaker 2: the town and you're on the show. But it was
- 55:36Speaker 2: very cool for me to think, wow, you guys are
- 55:40Speaker 2: literally the producers of a show that I used to
- 55:43Speaker 2: watch as a teenage little girl. So then he had
- 55:46Speaker 2: me and I was like, okay, what now? I get it.
- 55:49Speaker 2: You guys are serious. You obviously have had very successful shows.
- 55:52Speaker 3: Right.
- 55:52Speaker 2: So we kind of talked about it. And at this point,
- 55:54Speaker 2: I was very, very happy in my career as a
- 55:56Speaker 2: real estate agent. Things were going on an upward trajectory
- 56:00Speaker 2: for me. And I was very happy with the way
- 56:02Speaker 2: things were going. So moving over to Jason's team was,
- 56:07Speaker 2: you know, a huge. I talked to Jason and I
- 56:11Speaker 2: told him all of the things that were going on
- 56:12Speaker 2: in my career. And he said, talk to a few
- 56:14Speaker 2: of the other agents and ask them what they think
- 56:17Speaker 2: about working for me.
- 56:18Speaker 3: Oh, some of his agents. Yeah.
- 56:20Speaker 2: I spoke to Mary. I spoke to Gio, who's actually
- 56:22Speaker 2: on the show with us. Uh-huh. And a couple of
- 56:25Speaker 2: other agents. And they were just... And I spoke to
- 56:28Speaker 2: Jason for a few hours.
- 56:30Speaker 6: Right.
- 56:30Speaker 2: And I was like, okay, this is the right move
- 56:32Speaker 2: for me.
- 56:33Speaker 6: So then was it hard to tell the other people
- 56:34Speaker 6: that you were leaving to go be on this TV show?
- 56:38Speaker 3: Horrific.
- 56:39Speaker 2: I hated that. But I was like, don't hate... Because
- 56:42Speaker 2: I had a very, you know, I loved who I
- 56:44Speaker 2: worked for also at the time.
- 56:45Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 56:46Speaker 2: And they were always very, very supportive of me. And
- 56:50Speaker 2: so that was hard, yeah. That was hard to say goodbye.
- 56:53Speaker 6: And, okay, so then you decide, and in doing the show,
- 56:57Speaker 6: did you have any worries about, like, now your kids
- 57:00Speaker 6: are barely featured, but, like, exposing your life and becoming
- 57:05Speaker 6: an international personality, really, because the show is international.
- 57:09Speaker 2: So crazy to even think about.
- 57:10Speaker 3: And so were there.
- 57:11Speaker 6: Any, was it all like, oh, my God, I, You know,
- 57:15Speaker 6: I think it's kind of interesting that you.
- 57:16Speaker 3: Said, like, you watched this show. I'm very much about, like,
- 57:21Speaker 3: oftentimes things have been manifested, which I didn't secret it.
- 57:24Speaker 3: I didn't manifest it.
- 57:25Speaker 6: But I look back and I'm like, oh, my God,
- 57:27Speaker 6: I always thought I would live here. I always thought
- 57:29Speaker 6: I would do this.
- 57:30Speaker 3: And it's a real thing.
- 57:30Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 57:30Speaker 3: So, like, it's interesting that you kind of liked that
- 57:33Speaker 3: and thought about that. You end up there.
- 57:35Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:36Speaker 3: And then your life goes in this total other direction
- 57:38Speaker 3: of being a young mom.
- 57:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 57:40Speaker 3: And now you're kind of... So when the opportunity came...
- 57:43Speaker 3: And you.
- 57:44Speaker 6: Saw that it was, you know, you're already stepping into
- 57:45Speaker 6: a successful franchise.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Right.
- 57:49Speaker 6: I mean, what are you also hoping to get from
- 57:52Speaker 6: this platform besides better listings?
- 57:56Speaker 2: Exactly. So I was thinking this, everything happens for a reason.
- 58:00Speaker 2: And it was really, really difficult for me to make
- 58:02Speaker 2: the decision. And I was highly, highly leaning towards not
- 58:07Speaker 2: doing it. Because I was almost like, is the devil
- 58:09Speaker 2: tempting me here? Like, I've got a good thing with
- 58:11Speaker 2: my business without... Being, you know, on a screen like
- 58:14Speaker 2: this and being on a platform for just critique, you know.
- 58:20Speaker 2: And I thought to myself, if I do this, it's
- 58:22Speaker 2: for one reason, and it's just to catapult my career
- 58:25Speaker 2: faster and have a secure financial freedom for me and
- 58:29Speaker 2: my children. Because I don't have– there's one income household
- 58:33Speaker 2: for me. And that's the mentality that I had. And
- 58:38Speaker 2: I thought, okay, if it can be a fair tradeoff–
- 58:41Speaker 2: or if there's a higher opportunity than a negative. And
- 58:44Speaker 2: then I was talking to my mom about it, and
- 58:46Speaker 2: she goes, I'm not letting you not do it. You're
- 58:48Speaker 2: doing it. You have to do it. You have to
- 58:50Speaker 2: do it. You've been presented with this offer. Like, there's
- 58:55Speaker 2: the door. You've got to walk through it.
- 58:56Speaker 6: And what was, besides just a few phone calls, like
- 58:59Speaker 6: how much interviewing on camera and stuff did you have
- 59:01Speaker 6: to do before they said, we absolutely want you?
- 59:05Speaker 2: So they interview everybody. I mean, they want Oppenheim agents, obviously.
- 59:10Speaker 2: You know what I mean? So I don't know what
- 59:12Speaker 2: the deal is with their interviewing process with everybody.
- 59:15Speaker 6: So did you first have to leave the one brokerage
- 59:19Speaker 6: and go to Oppenheim even if you're going to be
- 59:21Speaker 6: featured on the show?
- 59:22Speaker 2: So it depends. A lot of agents were already working
- 59:24Speaker 2: at the Oppenheim group. Who was already... I had spoken
- 59:28Speaker 2: to Jason before, long before. I actually don't know if
- 59:32Speaker 2: any of the agents weren't working for Jason before. You'd
- 59:35Speaker 2: have to ask production.
- 59:37Speaker 7: Okay.
- 59:38Speaker 2: I hate that photo.
- 59:39Speaker 3: Okay. So that doesn't even look like you.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Right?
- 59:43Speaker 2: I don't know what they did to that photo. It doesn't.
- 59:45Speaker 7: All right.
- 59:45Speaker 3: Let's go through the people.
- 59:47Speaker 6: Okay.
- 59:48Speaker 3: So over on the corner, I have the selling, you know,
- 59:52Speaker 3: the selling OC.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Everybody was there when I got there. I was the
- 59:55Speaker 2: last agent to.
- 59:57Speaker 3: Join the group.
- 59:58Speaker 2: So I don't, so to my knowledge, everybody was at
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: the Oppenheim group.
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: And the office right now, which is really big, right
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: in Corona Del Mar, right there on the strip.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: I almost feel like that was built to be shot in. Does,
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: was it?
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: No.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Jason just does everything elaborate over the top and luxurious.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: That is one of the, I mean, it's, so hilarious
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: that it's a real estate office because it's such a huge,
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: it was, it's a staple in Corona Del Mar. Corona
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Del Mar is this very, you know, it's very tiny
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: little quaint town and it was this massive black office
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: with this Oppenheim logo on the top and it's tall
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: and it wasn't, it's never been a real estate office.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Most of the other real estate offices in Newport, Corona
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Del Mar, they're just these tiny little like door storefronts
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: almost just to have an address and a name. And
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: ours has a gym and a bar and our massive
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: desks and a kitchen and a shower and two bathrooms
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: and a rowing room. I mean, it's very, it's true
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Jason Oppenheim style. I have no complaints.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: It's gorgeous.
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: And his twin is not featured in this anymore because
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: they're not really working together.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: Brett was there. Yeah, yeah. Brett was in, was he
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: not in the show?
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: We never saw him.
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: Really?
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: No.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Yeah, when they drove up in their Bronco. They did
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: the cute little high five.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: I guess that's the only time I remember. Okay, let's
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: go through the people. So first we have Tyler, who
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: is a surfer who comes from a real estate background.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: His dad was a big realtor.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: He's had his license, to my understanding, the longest out
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: of any of us. Because I thought I had had
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: my license longer than anybody. And Tyler's had his, because
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: his dad is a real estate mogul in Laguna. And
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: so I think his dad, like you, like your parents,
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: he had his license in 2010 or something ridiculous.
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: And so he decides to do the show. And he's
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: married to Brittany Snow from Pitch Perfect. And I find
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: that dynamic really interesting because of Selling Sunset. It was
- 1:01:51Speaker 6: very similar in that Chris Shell, who was an actress
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: but not nearly as big as her husband at the
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: time from This Is Us, she then gets on this.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: And I'm going to tell you right now, I don't
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: know about the two of them. About him and Brittany.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Him and Brittany.
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: Yeah. My prediction is, no, this isn't going to work out.
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: And I know some stuff is for TV, but I
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: don't think she signed up for him to be a star,
- 1:02:17Speaker 6: and I think he's a star. And, of course, what
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: we see on the show is one of the storylines
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: is that this girl, what's her name, Kayla, who is
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: also a single mom, she gets drunk and she flirts
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: and she tries to make out with Tyler. And you
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: guys are all really creeped out by it. But at
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: the same time, you're all.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: Cuddly with him. Are you the one who bites his nose?
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: It's not a bite. It's a nosy. It's gross.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: It's nothing cute.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: And he's a babe. I mean, he's a babe.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: And so they're all flirty, but, you know, has her
- 1:02:51Speaker 6: in tears. Now, you come off real bitchy.
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: And real bitchy and, like, really wanting to start a shit. And, like,
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: there's one moment where you're like.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: I die. I die.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: I know what's going on.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: When did I do that?
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: At the party.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Oh, when I had my hair up in a ponytail?
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: Yes, at Gio's party.
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: You guys are annoyed with the other Alexes, Alex Rose
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: and Alex Jarvis.
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: And I have to say, in watching it, I felt
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: like this was a little bit, not that comprehensible.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: Like, I didn't really think there was that.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot left out. Well, that's because there's
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: a lot left out. That's why it's not comprehensible.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: And we'll guess find out second season?
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Hopefully.
- 1:03:36Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: Hopefully we will.
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: Part of the thing was that Alex Rose, who's the
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: blonde girl, has been accused of dating or possibly doing
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: a number two on someone to get a listing.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: No, I don't know if that was it. But it was,
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: did she sleep with someone to get her listings or whatever?
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: If you watch the show very closely... it gets very convoluted,
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: but if you watch closely, I'm not actually the one
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: who insinuated that. I actually had told, and it shows
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: that in the show, but people hear what they want
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: to hear, and it's a lot of talking. It was
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: actually that I had come to her and told her
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: that that was what was the rumor going around. And
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: then she confronted at that night of our opening party,
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: she asked if that's what the girls were saying, and
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: then I don't know how somehow it got to further
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: down in the episodes, it was Alex Hall is saying
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: that I sleep with people for listings.
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: And then with Kayla, so Kayla's very new. She's still bartending.
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: She gets her first listing, and she's like, will you
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: co-list it with me? And you feel like she doesn't
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: know what the hell she's doing.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: And so you start to get annoyed. And then, I
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: can't believe you took yourself off the listing. You just
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: didn't think it was going to sell?
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: Did it sell?
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: It didn't sell. It expired. It was overpriced. And, I mean, you.
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: You know. And it wasn't even just that.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: My dad used to always say, this listing isn't going
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: to change my lifestyle.
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: So it's like one deal is one deal.
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: But if it becomes like it's too overwhelming or the
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: person isn't really serious, it takes an experienced broker to
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: be like, I don't need this.
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: I don't need to be. This is never going to happen.
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: Well, it's always a time and money. And we paid
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: for staging.
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Which is my money, my time. Kayla at that point
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: had gotten– in my opinion, very like indignant and over,
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: she was overstepping and at that point thought that she
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: knew more and didn't want to take my advice anymore.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: Jason said it himself. I don't know if he said
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: it on the show, but he was like, I would
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: cancel the client. He's not serious. Why would we raise
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: the price? It makes, and I've been, you know, trained
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: for the last seven or eight years to, you know,
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: try to not look stupid in what you're doing and
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: not waste your time. Like, especially as single mothers, like
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: our time is very valuable. We don't have a lot
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: of it, And so there's a lot of background with
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: that client, too, that you guys unfortunately don't– not enough
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: time to air everything. So it was a nightmare.
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: And then with the clients, like, how does it work? Like,
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: I always kind of wonder.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: Like, I know sometimes– the production just finds a house
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: for you to show that agrees to let you have
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: a conversation about the party in your heels. I get
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: that part. But like, what about like, I feel like
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: I'm good friends with Josh Flagg and Josh Altman of,
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: you know, Million Dollar Listing. And that's really much more
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: about their lives and their, and the clients and stuff.
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: And this, I feel like is more about your, you know,
- 1:06:33Speaker 6: your life, like the interactions with each other and stuff.
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: And so is it, Is it hard to... Do you know?
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: Is it hard to.
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: Did you ever have to ask any of your clients, hey,
- 1:06:44Speaker 6: would you participate in the show or not?
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: Yeah, the listing that you saw of mine... And that's
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: the thing is, too, it's almost like a double-edged sword
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: because sometimes your really great listings, your clients don't want
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: to have it on the show.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: And sometimes... So it just depends. Your clients absolutely have
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: to be willing and able to have their home aired.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: And sometimes they'll say, yeah, do my house, but don't
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: do me. And so a lot of people at a
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: certain caliber get very, very private just at the end
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: of the day. And there's also the other side where...
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: A lot of people at that caliber want to show,
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: want to show off, you know?
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: Um, and so, and then also if it's not selling,
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: you're like, well, Hey, if it's not sold when this airs,
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: it might now.
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: Why not?
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: It's also a selling point. Right. Like the $ 106 million
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: listing is a, is a pocket listing. It's not on
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: the MLS anywhere, but showing it on a global platform
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: like the show is going to give it a lot
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: of exposure.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Without getting it listed, if that makes sense.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: So, um, I mean, all of the listings on our
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: show were real, actual listings. I can't... And I... I mean,
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: I don't... What is Josh Flagg? Is he on Million
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Dollar Listing?
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: He's on Million Dollar Listing. And, you know, they're both...
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: I mean.
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: They both do really, really well. And I know Million
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: Dollar Listing New York has been canceled. I don't know
- 1:07:54Speaker 6: if this one will come back.
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: I don't know if people are reflecting going.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: That show's been going on for so long.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: Yeah, the kind of reality show we really want is
- 1:08:00Speaker 6: really about this glam.
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: And about this drama. I always really liked it. I mean,
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: I like it because I like them and I think
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: they're funny. And I like that they show like some
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: old historical house that needs work. Yeah, I like that too.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: I don't need to see the glam all the time.
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: But I think. I think this is a great model, too. Like,
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: I think you can enjoy both.
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: Well, I loved how Polly showed that, like, fixer-upper on
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: our season. And she made a comment to me after.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: She goes, that's the first... She goes, selling something that
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: never showed any, like, rehab properties.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: And I thought, oh, my God, that's so cool. Because
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: I love... It would be really cool if we could
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: get that on season two and watch what she does
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: with it afterwards. Right, yeah. Because she's going to go
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: in there. The person who bought that house is going
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: to go in there.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: It's fantastic, I'm sure.
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: Okay, so Tyler... It's pretty delightful. Then.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Oh, you're a fan of Tyler.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: Now, what's this cat's name up here? Which one?
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: Sean.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: Sean.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Austin.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Wait, so Sean, he didn't get that much airtime.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: Yeah, he didn't, unfortunately.
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: Now, is he straight?
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: He's bisexual.
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: Oh, he is bisexual. Yeah, yeah, Okay, because then I
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: missed that because.
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: We talked about it at pizza night at my house.
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: Okay, because someone then wrote, after watching Selling Sunset, I'm
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: going to coin the word California straight.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: Because she felt they all seemed a little gay.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: I mean, Austin is a model. You know what I mean?
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: I feel like that just, if you're a model.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: Austin's the dad with twins. Yeah. They're so cute.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Gio, who we call him GQ. That's our nickname for Gio.
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: And Gio's married to a woman.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: Gio's married to Tiffany.
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: Okay. And then we got the girls. Then we got Polly,
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: who's English.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: From England.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Whose husband cheated on her. And then we have Brandy,
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: who's married.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Married with two kids.
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: She seems pretty normal. Yeah.
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: And then the Jarvis, the other two, Alex, the Tynemo twins.
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: And then, wait, who's this one over here?
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: Who?
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: Lauren.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: That's Lauren and that's Kayla.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: Oh, Lauren. Lauren didn't get that much air time.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Lauren didn't get that much air time. We've all got these,
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: we thought going into it, we were like, they're going
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: to talk a lot about our stories because We all
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: have such dynamic backgrounds.
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: Yeah, you all have good, juicy backstories.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: So I think once some of the drama hit the surface,
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: production was like, we've got to run with this. Sorry,
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: we were going to go into the backgrounds of you
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: guys a lot more, but we can't. Adam was like,
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: we can't not just go with the drama.
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: So how long were you guys filming for? How many
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: months or weeks?
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: It seemed like an eternity. To be honest with you,
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: I think maybe November, December, June. Four, maybe? Four months?
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: Oh, so November through January.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: We definitely started in November.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: Did it ever rain on a day that you were filming?
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: Or was every day just gorgeous there?
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: It was gorgeous. There was days where, see, it was cold,
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: like one or two, like if we would film early
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: in the morning. And they're like, no jackets. No jackets,
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: you guys. Nips out. We're in Orange County.
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: We're like, oh my God, it's freezing. And the weather
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: changes drastically.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: Oh, your tits got a lot of air time. You
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: wore a lot of, you know, necklaces as shirts.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: I loved every scene. The only one where it was
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: so super aggressive. And I remember telling one of our producers,
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: this is a lot, you know. And when I get
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: on my, when I'm on my period, they're double the size.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: And production was like, well, that's really good to know.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: Because sometimes we have to do like pickup scenes.
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: They're like, that's really good to know when you're in
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: your period next because we want to make sure those
- 1:11:17Speaker 6: titties are out.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: No, we have to have it match up.
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: And if we're doing a pickup scene. And I was like,
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: that is aggressive. And she goes, no, no, no. They
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: look great. They look great. But they look so big.
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: Now, did you prepare your outfits before you started filming
- 1:11:30Speaker 6: and like really was like, I need to step it up.
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: I need to.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: I tried, but it doesn't always. The amount of outfits
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: that we had to have, I couldn't even keep up with.
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: I mean, I just feel like such an old fat
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: loser watching the show. I mean, I used to think
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: I was, like, pretty fucking, like, cute and put together.
- 1:11:47Speaker 6: But I am like, like, that Jarvis girl, she's got
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: to be a triple zero if that exists.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: She's tiny, yeah. She's very tiny.
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: I mean.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: Very tiny. I honestly feel like, for me, I'm not,
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: that's not my figure. I'm more curvaceous. And I feel like,
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: for me, when I'm next to, like, the selling sunset girls,
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: I feel like an ogre. I'm like, oh, my God,
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: you guys are so, they're like fashion runway models, all
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: of them. All of the girls that I've met from
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: Selling Sunset.
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: Now, was anybody worried that they would– that someone would
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: start dating Jason? Now, I know he has a new
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: tall girlfriend, but there was a moment in between where
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: he was single.
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: We're all too old, I think, to date Jason. I
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: think he has like– he.
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: Only will date people under– Oh, really? He's like a
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: Leonardo DiCaprio?
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: Well, I mean, his new girlfriend is so young. She's
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: adorable too, by the way. I love her.
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: She's 20-something.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: The youngest one out of all of us is.
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: Well, listen.
- 1:12:37Speaker 6: I think Jason loves his new life because one time
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: when I was watching it– and you guys were talking
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: like business, right? I, I, I.
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: Stopped the watching of it.
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: I zoomed in and he wasn't looking at the MLS
- 1:12:50Speaker 6: or a contract.
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: He was looking at the daily mail, probably looking about
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: what's going on with himself. And so, Hey, I mean,
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: gotta love Jay.
- 1:13:00Speaker 6: I mean, if you could have both, like, if you
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: could have all the fun of, you know, being famous
- 1:13:04Speaker 6: and doing this.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: We have a lot of fun. And I think that
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: he is very excited about the orange County office because it's,
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Another one of his babies, and he's meeting all new people.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Selling Sunset is a lot of his old friends that
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: he's known for a very long time. And we're younger,
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: like you said. We're by the beach. It's a different
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: party environment, too. We're on boats and at the beach,
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: not at nightclubs.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: I have a question.
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: Why did you get so bitchy, and I thought you
- 1:13:29Speaker 6: were kind of out of hand, when you were yelling
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: about Gio's wife?
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: That scene was so dramatic.
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: Okay, so let me explain to people if you didn't
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: watch it. So Gio's wife and you were friends at
- 1:13:39Speaker 6: some point.
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: She then went to Gio and said that you snubbed
- 1:13:42Speaker 6: her at the premiere party, the premiere of.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: The Office, which essentially looked like a Hollywood premiere.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: It was, yeah.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: And your understanding was that you didn't, right?
- 1:13:51Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: And so then there was this weird confusion and then
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: the producers were like, well, let's bring it up at
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: every opportunity and milk.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: It out all season. Right. But you were like yelling
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: at him about it.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: Oh, I was so irritated with him. He was going...
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: So here's the thing, is that for the two weeks
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: leading up to that moment, he was going around telling everybody,
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: everybody featured here, somebody snubbed my wife at the opening party.
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: And he wouldn't say who it was, but he said
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: it was, and then I think Brandy alluded to him.
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Well, she assumed it was, I think, Rose or Jarvis.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: I think she assumed it was Rose at that point.
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: And she goes, you know what, something about Rose, you know,
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: who cares about Rose? And he goes- who said it
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: was Rose? And I was like, oh my God. I'm like, who,
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: why are you being so dramatic and like trying to
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: ruffle everyone's feathers and like keep us on the edge
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: of our seats and pretending like if there's a problem,
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: just talk about it. And so we had talked about it.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: He blindsided me at the, and so after that, we
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: had the conversation at the Brokers Open where he's like
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: in front of everybody and I'm thinking, I don't, it
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: couldn't have been me. It couldn't have been me. I said,
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: and if it was, it was completely unintentional because I
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: would never intentionally snub anybody. And I said it at
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: the event, at that event. And so a lot had
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: happened between that and then the beach scene as well.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: So then at the beach scene, I was like, this
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: is where I have to draw a line in the sand.
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: I'm not the one. You're not going to go around
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: and be causing all this drama about me with all
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: of my new colleagues. And so I felt like that
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: moment for me, because I he was making it seem
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: like such a bigger deal. I know that was a
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: dramatic scene for me, but the behind the scenes was
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: him trying to start drama, and I wanted to say, like, don't.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: We're not doing this. Do it with somebody else.
- 1:15:39Speaker 6: And so when Polly, the English girl, takes off her
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: polka dots, Polly and polka dots, and complete nudity goes
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: in the ocean. A lot of alcohol was consumed that day.
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: And I'm also guessing the ocean is not that warm.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Oh, no, it's freezing.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: So I think.
- 1:15:57Speaker 6: I mean, I think that's a real moment where she
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: wanted to shine. And, like, I think she was probably drunk.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. We all were. You're telling me nobody's wife
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: was a little, like, listen.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Not that I know of. I'm not a wife, so
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: I don't know. I love naked women.
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: So, I mean, when she gets back out, when she
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: crawls out of the water.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: We all had towels there waiting for her. Me and
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: Lauren were, like, running with towels.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: But still, everyone saw, like, the badge.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: They could close their eyes or turn it off.
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: Okay. I mean, I mean, I, I just thought, and
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: she's the one that then gives Kayla so much shit
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: when she got naked in front of like three, two,
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: definitely two married men. She got naked and then she's
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: giving Kayla shit for being boozy and flirting with a
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: guy who's probably getting divorced.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: Well, I think in the intention where there was a
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: lot of alcohol, the intention was different. And one of
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: those married guys, Tyler was the one she had the
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: fricking bet with like, of the sunset. You know what
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: I mean?
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: So the bet to what?
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: To get, if, if the, so the bet was if
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: the sun, it was a stupid bet. It was a bet.
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: If the sunset is above a nine, if we all
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: agreed it was above a nine, Polly gets naked. And
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: if it's below a nine, Tyler gets naked. I think
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: she probably made the bet thinking no one's listening, whatever.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: And then she realized, I'm just saying it was silly.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: It was silly. No, I wasn't mad about it though.
- 1:17:19Speaker 6: And no reality show. And even in like any kind of, Like,
- 1:17:23Speaker 6: TV acting job. Have I been, like, to my friends?
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: Okay, if the bottle spins to the left, you get
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: to see my glitz. I get nude. And if it
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: goes to the right, nips only.
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: You guys were just friends.
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: What's the problem?
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: I mean, yeah. I don't know if Polly has any
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: regrets from that. I doubt it.
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: Would this conversation, would this party be happening again? With realtors,
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: in the OC, if there were no TVs, no cameras.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: With us? Our crew? Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: 100%.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: But also, Polly's a model. Well, that's great, then. If
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: you want to see Polly naked anywhere on the internet,
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: you can.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: She's gorgeous.
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: She's stunning. She's a model. She's European. I have a
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: European background. I go to any beach in Italy, and
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: everyone's got their tops off. Seeing an ass cheek, it
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: doesn't offend me. I'm going to tell you right now.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: If I was married, my husband would be stoked to
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: see her naked on the beach.
- 1:18:18Speaker 6: I don't think when a girl gets naked, it has
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: anything to do with her. And she's like, you can
- 1:18:24Speaker 6: all see me naked. The only thing I do think
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: when girls do that, and maybe you're one of these girls,
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: think about the fact that who's there.
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: Is maybe not single.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: This is our point.
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: And their partner's not there, and I think that's shitty.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: Okay, and that's totally fair and valid to your opinion.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: Here's what I will say, though. A, alcohol is being consumed,
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: lots of alcohol, but production does a very, very, very
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: good job. and this is probably why they love us
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: so much at making it feel like they're not there
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: it's the most bizarre thing even when we're in the
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: office and that's how they capture a so much content
- 1:19:02Speaker 2: I mean they have enough content right now to make
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: a season two without us ever filming again they've got
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: so much I can't possibly air it all um But
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: they are so, so good. Even when they're filming and
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: it looks like they're right here, they're like a mile away. Right.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: So we, especially since we've become friends and it is
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: their intimate settings and whatnot, and because of the alcohol consumption,
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: we literally, there's way more stuff that we've regretted doing
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: on television that didn't make the scenes as far as
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: like things that we might have said or things that
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: we might have been like, oh God, you know, or
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: something about, I mean, there's things that I've said about
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: like my children or my relationships that I'm like, oh God,
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: I hope that, I don't want, because there's a lot
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: of my private life that I don't want to be on.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: I've made a conscious decision not, so not necessarily bad,
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: horrible things, but just things that might be more personal
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: to us. And we don't ever know what route or
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: what avenue production's gonna take.
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: And so, the guy that we see you go on
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: the date with, what's going, is he, are you still
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: dating him?
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: He's still a very dear friend, but we don't, we
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: are not. Okay, so, and.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: how old are your kids now?
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: Uh, eight and going to be 13.
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: And so did the 13 year old watch any of it?
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: Oh, she watched the whole thing with me.
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: And does she love that you're doing this?
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: She just loves, I mean, there was a part of like,
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: she watched me with me for the very first time.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: So I didn't have, didn't know what to expect. Um,
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: and this is right up her alley. I mean, she's
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: 13 year old.
- 1:20:27Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: You know, and she's like, I love it.
- 1:20:28Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: Um, but there were some moments where she was like.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: Like what?
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: Like when Polly ran in naked, both of my, my,
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: my son and his, and his, uh, cousin my nephew
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: were in the other room and they came out just
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: going to the kitchen to get a snack right when
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: Polly and my nephew's like did that girl just get
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: naked I'm like avert your eyes like stop and then
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: obviously the scene where Jeremy's saying something about his burning
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: pieces I was like oh god Gia cover your ear
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: my daughter I'm like oh I didn't know that was
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: going to make the scene but it's a hilarious scene
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: but also she doesn't need to be hearing that.
- 1:21:03Speaker 6: And so what's your situation now romantically.
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: Single single and it's funny because a lot of people
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: think oh you're gonna there's you're gonna find somebody because
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: of you know you're on this platform now I said
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: I think it's gonna be way more difficult because I
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: like normal yeah I like normal I don't want somebody
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: who's in this.
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: And it is hard because a lot of men if
- 1:21:26Speaker 6: they do pursue you and date you it's you're they're
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: gonna want The production, everybody's going to want you to
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: include it.
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: Include it in your life. And so they're going to
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: have to be willing to do that, which some people can.
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: Right. Some people don't want to. The last guy I
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: was dating was like, you're going to be on a
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: reality show? Bye. I'm like, what? I was like, I'm
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: going to make a lot of money. They're like, I
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: don't want that life.
- 1:21:51Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: I was like, I don't want that life either.
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: I just want the chance. So right now, you guys
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: are not filming yet. You're waiting to see. And so
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: in the meantime, you just are... Hustling?
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: You're the real estate? I don't have enough time to
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: think about dating. So you have a lot of business,
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: real estate business?
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: So busy with business.
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: Good.
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: So busy with new endeavors, my kids. There's just so
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: much going on. I mean, if something were to happen organically,
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: would I put a wall up? No, but I'm not
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: actively looking right now to date. I can't. There's just
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: not enough hours in the day. And especially going from
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: being in a relationship and knowing the ins and outs
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: of somebody to going to, what's your favorite color?
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: I'm like, ugh, no. Yeah.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: I don't want to start from ground. I can't start
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: from zero right now. I don't have the mental capacity
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: for that.
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: Well, I have some predictions of what's going to happen
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: on the show.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: Oh, I read you your predictions.
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: But it might not be that nice.
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: So what?
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: Okay. I think we're going to get rid of a
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: couple people.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:22:49Speaker 3: But it's, I think we're going to get rid of,
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: I mean.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: For season two, you think people aren't going to be
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: like on the show for season two.
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: Like here, I'll just.
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: You're not going to name them. You're just going to
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: zoom in on them. Yeah.
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: The two on the end.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: Which end?
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: This girl on the end. The pretty one. Lauren? Lauren.
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: She's so great. I love her so much. She has
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: such a big personality.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: Okay, well, if I was her, this is what she
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: needs to do.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: She needs to go to them and go, I understand
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: I wasn't featured.
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: But this is why you should feature me.
- 1:23:16Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: She's so great.
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: Like, she's got to fight. Yeah. Because she came off
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: really cute and nice. There just was no story. And
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: that's not her fault.
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: She might have had a story. Oh, she's got spice.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: Let me tell you.
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: Also, this guy, he did nothing. The bisexual guy.
- 1:23:29Speaker 4: So.
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: Usually when you're bisexual as a realtor, you got to
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: go full gay.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: It's got to go full one way or Madison on LA, um,
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: million dollar listing. Uh huh.
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: He was bi and he, he had to go full gay.
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: And then, um, just for the show or like in
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: real life, he probably was full gay to start.
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: Um, But we need to see him, like, with a dude.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: A gay pride flag on his car.
- 1:23:57Speaker 6: Just a full dude. Just, and like, and have a
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: whole thing about it. If he wants to stay on
- 1:24:03Speaker 6: the show. If he doesn't want to stay on the show,
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: he can remain being bi.
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: Well, it's really bizarre, too, because they didn't, again, they
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: didn't go into our backgrounds. Like, of course he, like,
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: he didn't.
- 1:24:11Speaker 8: I also think the wives, Austin's wife, Lisa, I think
- 1:24:18Speaker 8: it would be really fun if she got her license
- 1:24:20Speaker 8: and they become this couple, the realtor, and she gets involved.
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: They're both models, I'm pretty sure. I mean, Lisa's fantastic.
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: And they sell model homes. Models who sell model homes,
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: that's their slogan, okay?
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: You heard it here first, guys.
- 1:24:34Speaker 6: Yeah, Gio, his wife, I think, wants to be involved.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: I mean, they're newlyweds. Of course, I mean, anything that
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: he's going to do or she's going to do, I
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: think that's natural to want to be involved.
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: Somehow, if she doesn't want to be a realtor, she
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: could be the stager, whatever.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: She's not a stager.
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: What does she do?
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: She's in, I think, in somewhat PR or something.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: Well, stop that.
- 1:24:54Speaker 6: If you want to be on the show, do something
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: in the business.
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: I love that they did have them on the show
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: a little bit, though, some of the wives.
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: Brandy is good. She's like the voice of reason. So
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: I think she's fine with doing her thing.
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: Okay. And then the Jarvis twins, or whatever, Jarvis and
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: Alexa Rose.
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: Everyone has a different name for them. It's really funny
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: to hear all of the different names.
- 1:25:16Speaker 6: I don't even think they have good chemistry as a duo.
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: So I think they're probably going to break up. They're
- 1:25:21Speaker 6: going to probably break up. And as beautiful as this
- 1:25:23Speaker 6: girl is, this Jarvis girl, she wore too many ponytails.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: Yes. And she.
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: Already has like a rich husband. But if we can
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: see her like rich wedding, then she can stay one
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: more season.
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: I love a good wedding. I don't think I'll be invited,
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: but I'll see it on the show.
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: I think you can have like a luncheon with her
- 1:25:46Speaker 6: and you can get yourself invited.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: Let's see.
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: And then Kayla, definitely she's going to stay.
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: But we need to see her date a rich.
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: Polly or Kayla?
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: Kayla needs to date some rich old guy that you
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: guys all think is terrible for her. And then she
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: starts flaking on listing apartment stuff.
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: Because the guy is so rich.
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: She doesn't need to sell houses anymore.
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: And then Jason has to have a sit down with her.
- 1:26:15Speaker 4: Oh, God.
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: And then you guys find out that this guy's been
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: married four times.
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: Or he's still married.
- 1:26:22Speaker 3: Yeah, something. And then.
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: You know, and then she's just like, why can't I
- 1:26:26Speaker 6: have something? And that was going to be her first
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: relationship with this older guy.
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: And it's just not going to work out.
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: And then Polly is, what should I have with Polly?
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: I mean, she definitely can stay, just outfits and stuff alone.
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: And so I think that she, oh, just came to.
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: Me, just came to me. She's going to have a
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: little bit of a lesbian thing happen.
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: Just a small one that she flirts with.
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: Okay. Does she get married? Does she find somebody?
- 1:26:54Speaker 6: No, she just has a bout with a lesbian, but
- 1:26:57Speaker 6: it goes nowhere. It's a lesbian client that's super horny
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: for her.
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: And you're like, is this real or is this not?
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: And then she's flirty. Remember when.
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: in sexist city when charlotte was like loved the power
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: lesbians because they were like in the art world and
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: she's just sort and then when they realized she was
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: absolutely not gonna do it and the one girl goes
- 1:27:19Speaker 6: if you don't eat pussy get the fuck out you're
- 1:27:21Speaker 6: not going on the trip yes we need a moment
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: like that with polly but what's.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: Her name also did the lesbian it wasn't charlotte the
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: other samantha did the man she.
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: Was full lesbian but like i'm saying polly's just gonna
- 1:27:30Speaker 6: enjoy the.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: Power put her toe in the water do you know
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: that there's.
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: A whole area of like power lesbians that have a
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: ton of money in the oc but they like you
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: wouldn't think it and so she tries to get those
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: lesbian clients and you might be and then she's like
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: i think i could do this and then the end
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: the lesbians realize she's full of shit she just wanted
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: their listings got it okay and then that's it then
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: you're the star i mean you're still the star.
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: I took a weird turn but i don't.
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: Well i just i can't help the predictions.
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: I can't help the predictions We're manifesting here.
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: I can't help it.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: We're manifesting here.
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: The show's going to continue. You're going to continue on it.
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: Do you think, though, that if two cast members don't
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: make it, are they going to put two more cast
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: members in?
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: Yes, of course.
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: See, I think they have to bring in a couple
- 1:28:15Speaker 6: new people for whatever reason.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: They do that all the time with Selling Sense, I've noticed.
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: So, I mean, if the people are on the fringe.
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: And they have to either fight for it, they have
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: to fight for.
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: It, and be like, You know, they should even negotiate
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: like whatever, something where they can stay on it because
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: they're definitely going to have to bring in a couple
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: new people.
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: And we already know them. I mean, Lauren is like,
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: she's so, Lauren doesn't drink. She's got a whole, she
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: had a crazy phase. You know, I won't speak on
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: her behalf, but she's got wisdom because she's had so
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: much experience and she doesn't take shifts. She's the level-headed one.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: But she's got to bring it on season two. I agree.
- 1:29:00Speaker 3: She better let them know what's transpired.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: It's hard to get a freaking word in edgewise with
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: all of us. Are you kidding? Lauren's just like.
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: I'm not criticizing them. I know how these things work.
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: Here I am defending Lauren.
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: I'm saying from what.
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: I've seen, I'm saying to Lauren and that guy, I'm
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: telling you what you've got to let happen.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: If Lauren also has access to some.
- 1:29:25Speaker 6: Controversial rich person that she's has like dating. That's another
- 1:29:32Speaker 6: thing that you can bring. See, we don't even, I
- 1:29:35Speaker 6: didn't know that.
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: I know. Well, she got to get divorced anyway. Just kidding. Um,
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: really fun talking to you.
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: What?
- 1:29:45Speaker 6: I mean, I think, um, much like Mary, who was
- 1:29:49Speaker 6: an inspiring single mom that like, I think your story is,
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: is something we don't often hear, and it's not what
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: you'd think.
- 1:29:56Speaker 3: Watching the show.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't hear it on the show.
- 1:29:58Speaker 3: Yeah, you wouldn't really.
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: Think, and I think for people, you're this glamorous reality star,
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: but it's an inspiring story.
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: But I'm not.
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: At home, I'm not. People don't even recognize me. I
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: go to Trader Joe's, and I got my hair up
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: and no makeup on, and I'm unrecognizable. I'm barefoot most
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: of the time.
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: I think you're really smart.
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: I think you're a hard worker. I think you're a
- 1:30:19Speaker 6: great mom. And I think some exciting things will happen.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: I hope so.
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: You know, stop being such a mean girl bitch. Or
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: continue it. Or just continue it.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: I'm not mean. I'm direct and I'm blunt.
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: Everything that happened on the show, I promise I have
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: a valid reason.
- 1:30:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: So hopefully season two, you just get a little bit
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: more of the push before the... All right.
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: Well, tell everybody where they can follow you.
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: Only on Instagram. I think I'm at Alex Hall underscore OC.
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: Because there's a lot of Alex Halls.
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: And if you guys haven't watched it, watch it. You'll
- 1:30:53Speaker 6: even enjoy it more now that you've got the scoop.
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: You can tell me what you think should happen with
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: these people.
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: Give us your predictions.
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: Yeah. Thank you.
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: The car is beautiful.
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: Where did you end up going for it?
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: This exclusive place that Donna's connections with.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: They have more cars for more dealerships than, like, anywhere else.
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: You have to put me in touch.
- 1:31:14Speaker 7: What's it called?
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: It's Dune-A-D-L.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: Where?
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: Dune-A-D-L.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: There's an accent on the E.
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: Do you mean.
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: Yes, I got it on Done Deal Cars.
- 1:31:25Speaker 7: Lift?
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: Please.
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: You going past Kimmage?
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: Oh, Kimmage. No.
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: Done Deal Cars.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 1:31:34Speaker 7: Fine.
