- 2:06Welcome to Man Talk 133, where Men Unite.
- 2:10We got a special guest tonight. Y'all, he's a leader, you're a
- 2:14mentor, entrepreneur. You do all that.
- 2:18He do all of that. He do all of that stuff, man.
- 2:20Tonight we're going to be discovering purpose leadership.
- 2:23We're going to even talk about if sports gets rigged or not.
- 2:26We're going to get into some conversations.
- 2:28Y'all, we're going to get into some conversation.
- 2:30Welcome to the show. Thank you, Sir.
- 2:33Thank you. I appreciate that.
- 2:34What a. Wonderful.
- 2:35What's going on, man? What's going on with you, man?
- 2:38That much, brother. Glad to have you on the show,
- 2:41dog. About time.
- 2:43About time, brother. Yes.
- 2:44Sir man who was Q Baked Tell the people who tell the people
- 2:48that's out there watching. He was Q Baker dog.
- 2:51Give me a little bio. Well, I am a NCCU college
- 2:58graduate from Fayetteville, NC, just a, a small, a young man
- 3:05from a small town. I'm a leader.
- 3:09I'm a musician and and I love sports.
- 3:14I love basketball preferably. But yeah, man, that's who I am,
- 3:18man. I'm just a humble young man,
- 3:20man. That's what's up, man.
- 3:21So since you get to music, let's get into that a little bit.
- 3:24How does it play a part in who you are?
- 3:26Because I knew you was in band and you was all you've been
- 3:30playing music probably since you was like 2 years old, right?
- 3:33So. Yeah, basically.
- 3:34How do? They play.
- 3:36How do they play a part to to to like to who you are like, you
- 3:41know what I mean? You know, we have praise and
- 3:42worship together. You know, I'm, I'm new to this.
- 3:45He true to this, you know what I'm saying?
- 3:46So tell them. A little bit, yes, Sir.
- 3:49It plays a major part in my life.
- 3:51It has in the past. My mother who sings, you know,
- 3:57she was also in the band. My father, he's a musician as
- 4:00well. So I grew up around music all
- 4:03the time. If it was nothing but just
- 4:06singing, but it was always singing with music.
- 4:08And you know, so I'm hearing it as I'm a baby and I just adapted
- 4:13to it, you know, just growing up, man, Just picking up
- 4:16different instruments, man, Music with keyboards, learning
- 4:19how to play drums and guitar and stuff.
- 4:22So what inspires your creativity?
- 4:25Like for me, it's like it could be if I heard, if I see
- 4:29something or hear something, it kind of inspired me to stir up
- 4:33my creativity. What about you?
- 4:35Because I mean, you can, I mean you nice.
- 4:37You can play both at the same time and all that stuff like
- 4:40this. Yeah, man, you funny.
- 4:45Yeah. So what inspires me is like a a
- 4:48nice good song. When I hear a nice song or a
- 4:51nice melody, sometimes it can be just like somebody singing a
- 4:56song and it that'll inspire me to sing.
- 4:59If I hear a nice keyboard player doing something nice on the
- 5:03keyboard, that'll inspire me to play.
- 5:05So I get inspired many different ways, man, but yeah.
- 5:09I get. Inspired off what?
- 5:10What'd you say? We're going to get we're going
- 5:12to get the, the, the, the, this, this out of the way because I
- 5:15want people to get to know you. And then we're going to get into
- 5:17some, some bulls. You have, you know what I'm
- 5:19saying? Because I, you know, I was
- 5:21trying to get trying to get my son to come on because I want
- 5:23him to be a part of this debate because he's scared to debate me
- 5:27live on the radio. Yeah.
- 5:29Yeah. So, yeah.
- 5:30So he don't want to come on. So I got to get you on so we can
- 5:33kind of have this debate. But what are some of the biggest
- 5:36influences in your life as as you were growing up?
- 5:39I know you mentioned your mom, your dad, you know.
- 5:41Two biggest. Yeah, as far as music, anything
- 5:48in general. Oh, yeah, man.
- 5:51My boy Kobe Bryant, RP to Kobe. That was one of my inspiring
- 5:57guys back in the day that played ball.
- 5:59Of course, Michael Jordan, you know, come on, the GOAT.
- 6:02We already know. But yeah, I think some of our
- 6:08church leaders, like my old pastor, you know, Pastor Tucker
- 6:14from my home church back in Fayetteville, you know, our
- 6:19apostle, Vernon Austin, inspires me a lot.
- 6:22You know, just just leaders in general.
- 6:24If I see and like the way that I view a person and I see that
- 6:29they're moving with a certain purpose and it's a certain aura
- 6:33about them that they have that's, you know, just walking
- 6:36in their purpose. I feel like I kind of, you know,
- 6:40just kind of take some things to, I'm not going to say look up
- 6:42to him, but you know. I get what you're saying, man.
- 6:45So we're going to go ahead and get into a little bit of this
- 6:49right here. Oh, let me ask you this first.
- 6:51That's why I get too far away from this.
- 6:54You make beats, right? So the intro that comes in, he
- 7:00did that for us, right? So what inspires you or what
- 7:04made you get into like making beats?
- 7:06What does it take to make it to make a really nice beat?
- 7:10What does it take like? I know you probably got like a
- 7:13beat machine and all this stuff like that, right?
- 7:16Equipment wise. You know, I'm just saying
- 7:18equipment wise, listening wise, yeah.
- 7:21What do you think about when you doing it?
- 7:24You know what I mean? Because I, I, I want to make
- 7:26beats. But you know when you sit down
- 7:28and look at all this stuff, you can't like.
- 7:31Yeah, you can get overwhelmed. Once again, the inspiration
- 7:36comes from like other songs, it comes from other beats.
- 7:41So when it comes to the equipment part, yeah, I can hear
- 7:45a sound and it'll make you. I don't know if you ever seen
- 7:49Kanye West like some of his interviews or like YouTube
- 7:52videos, but he'll just get get inspired off just a single sound
- 7:57and he'll hear all these different beats and instruments
- 8:01just by that one first sound that he heard.
- 8:03So that can happen or it can be a complete song.
- 8:07But the mindset, you know, it's kind of like, you know, you get
- 8:11into this mode of like it, it's like ecstasy when you hear
- 8:17something that you really like and it's like, man, what's that?
- 8:20So you start dissecting the sounds and that's what I'm going
- 8:24through. Like in my head, I'm like, OK,
- 8:25what sound did they use? OK, they got strings, they got
- 8:28piano, they got a bass drum, this type of kick.
- 8:33So, you know, you can be inspired by stuff like that you
- 8:35hear on the radio. Just regular stuff man.
- 8:38How long does it take you to make a beat like say like the I
- 8:41guess it depends on how long the beat is right?
- 8:44Like how so? The one you made for for me.
- 8:47How long did it take you to make a beat like that?
- 8:49Probably. It doesn't.
- 8:51Take long. Yeah, it doesn't take a a long
- 8:56time to actually make the initial beat.
- 8:58Like you can make that, I say about 30 minutes, you can make
- 9:03it. But to perfect it and to get the
- 9:07thing sounding exactly the way you want it, that can take
- 9:10hours, it can take days, it can take months sometimes.
- 9:14But yeah. So so you, you may be beautiful.
- 9:19Just in case y'all wanted some nice intro.
- 9:22How can they contact you with them?
- 9:23Beats bro. Oh yeah, you can follow me on
- 9:28Instagram, YouTube, and you can also follow me on TikTok.
- 9:34You can message me Q baller reacts.
- 9:38Baller being spelled BALLA instead of Baller was on the
- 9:44screen too. Yeah, yeah, you'll you'll see.
- 9:47Yeah, you can contact me through my social media.
- 9:50Just hit me in the DM man. Hey, contact me right now.
- 9:54He got some nice details. So this is one of the biggest
- 9:57debates in sports right now and I'm back in America.
- 10:02Finals just passed. Yeah.
- 10:04We saw some suspect stuff. Oh yeah.
- 10:08Do you think that not just the NBA but the sports in general,
- 10:14do you think it's rigged bro? I do.
- 10:19I absolutely do. Every single game that I
- 10:27watched. And I watch the Finals, right?
- 10:30I watch the Spurs and I will, I watch them be down and then come
- 10:35all the way back. I watch the Knicks be down, come
- 10:40all the way back and I'm just like, in what sport, at what
- 10:43time can you be down by 30? I mean, these these numbers,
- 10:48these deficits were so high. I'm like, there's no way.
- 10:52There was one night we turned the game off.
- 10:53I'm going to just say that we turned off the game because we
- 10:55thought it was over. It was in the fourth quarter and
- 10:58we were like, it's over. What's the need to watch it,
- 11:01right? We woke up the next morning and
- 11:05and the Knicks had won. By 1.
- 11:08By one, yeah, right. That's when they went into
- 11:10overtime. I'm just like, what?
- 11:12What just happened? You know, that's kind of like
- 11:16one of the things that's like, come on, man, come.
- 11:18On I heard of, right, you think about that like we're talking
- 11:20about professional players that all you have to do if you got a
- 11:2530 point lead is basically trade shots.
- 11:29How do you lose a 30.29 point lead and then lose by one point?
- 11:36Right. I couldn't figure it out.
- 11:38So so it's been going on for a long time.
- 11:41Just like like, I don't get it, bro.
- 11:44Like somebody to break break this down to me how you can as a
- 11:48professional team. They they used to putting up
- 11:51what like 1:30? Yeah.
- 11:54Now you can't put up 100 points. You barely put over 100 points.
- 11:58Barely. Yeah, from the referees to the
- 12:02coaches, I feel like a lot of it and all this is, I'll say
- 12:06allegedly it's it's speculation that is rigged, right?
- 12:10Because we don't have the exact proof, but seeing is believing
- 12:14in what we see. What I see is that thing is
- 12:17rigged up a little bit. I'm just going, yeah.
- 12:20Yo, brother, look, the official, the officials, you think about
- 12:25how they call certain games, right?
- 12:27I'm going to tell you how I feel like it's rigged.
- 12:28Nothing. The reason why I say it's rigged
- 12:31is because anytime you add money into it, like the betting,
- 12:36you're going to have that because you think about it.
- 12:39If we're going to go with the sure bet, just say like for
- 12:42example, we're going to go with let's say OKC, the sure bet to
- 12:48win, to come out the West, right?
- 12:49You're going to bet that way. They look at the odds.
- 12:53Guess what happens? You know how much people much,
- 12:55much money people lost off that series?
- 12:59So many people thought OK, C was going to finish it all, but
- 13:02that's. What I thought.
- 13:04Yeah, I, I called Game 7 on that one and I said the Spurs was
- 13:08going to win. But everybody else, like man,
- 13:10not, not against Shay and them guys, man, they this is not
- 13:13going to happen. You would never think it right,
- 13:16but it can happen. And I'm like what?
- 13:19Yeah. And so out this how I believe it
- 13:22is. Another reason why I believe it
- 13:23is too is because I was playing think prize picks or something
- 13:28before and they had that. They had Shay.
- 13:31I was playing OKC against some, I can't remember who it was, but
- 13:36I had them scored over 31. He been averaging about 35.
- 13:40I said he'd get over 31. I had the rebounds, I had the
- 13:44all the other stuff, Right. So now he's their best player.
- 13:49They take him out. I still remember the number 5
- 13:51minutes and 39 seconds in the fourth quarter.
- 13:54They down by 7. He had one more shot to get for
- 13:58me to win like 5-6 hundred bucks.
- 14:00They set him down for the last 5 minutes of the game.
- 14:03I said I'm done. Yeah.
- 14:04Oh yeah, So I'm done. Yep.
- 14:07It's definitely it's. Definitely rig they look at
- 14:10though. I think it was Steph Curry the
- 14:11last time that I had put some money on prize fixe and I was
- 14:14like, like you said, it was a number like. 30. 2028 I'm like,
- 14:20I know Steph can score that. Come on, you know, probably in
- 14:241/4. So I'm like two quarters he he
- 14:26dropping 30. But like the same exact thing
- 14:30happened as soon as he almost met the threshold.
- 14:33They pull them out. Steph Curry ain't playing for
- 14:35the rest of the game. And I'm like, what?
- 14:39So I believe they look at the numbers, man.
- 14:40They look at, you know, and I think there's a lot of
- 14:43communication that goes on between, you know, those, I
- 14:48guess I'll say that the hierarchy of the apps and the
- 14:51players and the coaches and it's some communication going on down
- 14:55there. There's a lot of people that it
- 14:56has to be because what would make, you know, like, OK, this
- 15:01amount of people, let's say for instance, got shade scoring over
- 15:0530 or over 31, you know what I'm saying?
- 15:08And then all of a sudden, ironically, they take them out
- 15:12for the last 5 minutes. Like, come on, man.
- 15:15Don't make sense. Don't make sense.
- 15:17Hey, you look, we'll be right back after the break y'all.
- 15:20Stats tell that each day, 22 veterans commit suicide due to
- 15:25PTSD. These stats shook us and urged
- 15:28us to do our part. After hours and hours of
- 15:31thinking, beekeeping for veterans was born.
- 15:35Beekeeping for veterans combines beekeeping with mindfulness
- 15:38meditation. Why combine them?
- 15:41Here's why. Beekeeping causes positive rush
- 15:45of adrenaline. While beekeeping you have to be
- 15:47calm during it. You are mindful of your
- 15:50movements. Each week, a veteran will
- 15:53receive a mindful meditation to build emotional and mental skill
- 15:56sets. Mindfulness is a set of three
- 15:59attentional skills that work together, concentration, sensory
- 16:03clarity and equanimity, mental calmness, composure, evenness of
- 16:08temper. Every time mindfulness is
- 16:10practiced, we build these skills.
- 16:12Beekeeping for veterans not only helps veterans overcome
- 16:16emotional trauma but also aids our environment as without bees
- 16:20there is no food. Come forward.

- 18:16Welcome back to Man Talk 133, where me and you name we here at
- 18:21Baker yes Sir, the Q Baker conversation y'all see so I I
- 18:29kind of I kind of answer this question a little bit and I know
- 18:32you kind of feel the same way. You think gambling has changed
- 18:36the way fans use, you know, sports and stuff like that?
- 18:42Oh yeah, for sure, yeah. If it's rigged up, it doesn't
- 18:47seem like sincere or real or genuine, you know?
- 18:51Yeah. And what about the officials?
- 18:53I know you, I know, you know, you seen some questionable calls
- 18:56from these officials that kind of make you be like, what you
- 18:59going to do that right now? Right now.
- 19:02Right now. And that happened with Wimby.
- 19:08It it also happened with shade. You know, I know, I know a lot
- 19:10of people like to get on shade for flopping or whatever.
- 19:15Yeah, but Wimby does the same thing and he gets those calls
- 19:19so. But I don't think that Wimby
- 19:22gets half the scrutiny that Shay does.
- 19:25For some reason. They love to pick on Shay, man,
- 19:27but it's man that's all the same.
- 19:29They're doing the same thing. Yeah, You think about this, man.
- 19:33How many teams do you think really benefit from going deep
- 19:37in the playoffs from people cheating?
- 19:39Like for me, I think if they really want a certain team to
- 19:43get that, I felt like to me this was the next year they had it
- 19:47set for them to win it. Just based on the games that
- 19:51I've seen. I'm just like, brother, don't as
- 19:54you. I like basketball, you play
- 19:56basketball, I play basketball and as competitors and we're not
- 20:00even pro as competitors. You see a deficit that big, like
- 20:07they made a historic comeback, 29 points, right, win by one.
- 20:12As to me as a professional player, it like to me you laid
- 20:16down or you got paid to lay down.
- 20:18Yeah. Yeah, it don't even feel right,
- 20:21you know what I'm saying? To nobody that I talked to when.
- 20:26Wendy came down one play. I don't know why.
- 20:29It was at the end of the game. He's dribbling the ball about
- 20:31the cross, half court. Then all of a sudden I think it
- 20:34was Brunson that stole the ball. But either way, I'm like, why
- 20:40didn't you give it to the point guard?
- 20:42Why are you? How?
- 20:45Tall is Wendy, 7373. Trying to bring the ball down,
- 20:51brother, that's not your job. It was kind of like, man, I knew
- 20:54it was going to happen. I was like, what is he doing?
- 20:56Why is he dribbling that ball as soon as he did and when we can
- 21:01dribble but but come on now at the end of the game.
- 21:05You got to give it to that. Guard.
- 21:07You got to give the Aaron Fox, man, that Fox made that ball,
- 21:10you know what I'm saying? Come on man, they ripped the
- 21:14drawers off them on that. One that's great, you know, do
- 21:20you think like, you know how we watch like social media and
- 21:23stuff like that and you think like the clips that people play
- 21:27feel like the conspiracy theory side?
- 21:30I don't think it do, but I just think that the the clips that
- 21:33they're showing is actually what it is.
- 21:35You got caught cheating. That's all it is.
- 21:38Yeah. No, I agree with that.
- 21:40I agree with that. And some people, some people
- 21:43think that hey, you know, you know these clips, why they show
- 21:47them they show you the game from a flawed perspective.
- 21:51They y'all cheated. The refs cheated.
- 21:54I seen a bunch of plays with OK C the man foot was out of
- 21:58bounds. And they completely.
- 22:02Missed it and they they looked all the way.
- 22:05They looked all the way just get y'all just going to just let
- 22:07them keep playing like what we saw that we watching the game.
- 22:11Too, We watching the game too. So so you know, some people's
- 22:15overall take that they can have the overall take that they want,
- 22:19but some people's overall take is like, it's just they're
- 22:23human. They you know, they're not
- 22:25perfect. I get all that, but when I
- 22:29blatantly see stuff like for example, you remember what's the
- 22:34guy's name? Draymond Green.
- 22:35They took Draymond Green out against LeBron.
- 22:37In them you talk about a 73 and 19.
- 22:40They down 3 to one. They come back and beat them.
- 22:43I was like, yo, I'm a LeBron fan, right?
- 22:48But some stuff just don't look right that Nope.
- 22:52It's just be obvious. Stuff like, come on now.
- 22:55But you got those folks that are really that brainwashed to
- 22:58believe in everything that they see.
- 23:01Yeah. You know.
- 23:03Yeah. So go ahead.
- 23:06I'm sorry. No.
- 23:07No, no, I was about to say they will argue, argue you down about
- 23:11how it is real and it can't be rigged and that I'm like, these
- 23:16are professional athletes, like you said before, they are paid
- 23:20to play. They paid to make these shots,
- 23:22to perfect their game, you know, every single day.
- 23:27Yeah, this ain't wrestling, bro. This ain't the WWE or whatever.
- 23:31This millions of dollars. Millions of dollars to put that
- 23:34ball in the basket. $100 million contracts and you mean to tell
- 23:38me y'all can't keep a 29 hold a 29 point lead for 1/4?
- 23:42That's what I told my cousin. I said that don't make no sense
- 23:46now. Ain't nobody off that much now.
- 23:48Come about all Not at all. Let me put.
- 23:51Put me and you out there, Shaw. Put us out there, bro.
- 23:55We we could have brought them back at least half, about 15
- 24:00down by 15 at that point. Come on now.
- 24:02All right, Dang, we ain't no pros, but man, come on, man.
- 24:05We going to make a shot of two or three.
- 24:07Come on now. Now this is the part of the show
- 24:11where the audience and us, this where we start to split a little
- 24:17bit. MJ or LeBron?
- 24:24With the most controversial topic ever in sports, right?
- 24:28Even then, more than rig, even the sport being rigged, this is
- 24:31the most controversial right here.
- 24:35Yeah, my opinion, MJ is the coat.
- 24:41Yeah. As far as like personal
- 24:44accolades, I think LeBron is the GOAT for what he does for for
- 24:50the stats that he puts up in the numbers.
- 24:54But it's as far as like just single player.
- 24:57I I mean, even even championships with Michael
- 24:59Jordan, you know, like that Trump's him too.
- 25:02But he just had this killer instinct, this aura about him
- 25:05that was a little bit different. And and then the era that he
- 25:08played in too was a little more physical, you know?
- 25:11So, yeah, he was standing all of that and still came out with all
- 25:17them rings, man. So I I respect LeBron, but I
- 25:21would have to put MJ as the code.
- 25:23So I, if we, if we look at it from that perspective, because I
- 25:27had, I had a conversation with a guy, he's like, no man, did you
- 25:31got to look at Jordan, look at the rings he got.
- 25:33I said, we're going to base it on rings.
- 25:36We got to look at Russell. You got to live, you know what
- 25:40I'm saying? So I said you can't look at it
- 25:41like that. Which the MJ has a more killer
- 25:46instinct period. That's right.
- 25:48Period. But Kobe has that too.
- 25:52Had that too. He had that.
- 25:54Yes, Sir. He just, he just because of
- 25:57Kobe, who he was and his and his attitude and how he played with
- 26:01teammates, he didn't get the, he didn't get the respect like
- 26:06LeBron and MJ because if you, if you look at it, you can easily
- 26:09stick Kobe in there. Oh yeah, for sure.
- 26:12As a killer had the killer instinct, but the LeBron and
- 26:16the, the LeBron, you got one. I I think you got one and one a
- 26:21that I got, you know, one did it in his era his way and the other
- 26:24one did it in his era this way. You know what I'm saying?
- 26:27So who you think had the great impact on basketball, LeBron or
- 26:31or MJ? Man, MJ no question because he,
- 26:35he, he carried off of the court because of his shoes alone.
- 26:40The fashion part of it, like we still wear Jordans to this day.
- 26:43I'm not sure if we can say the same for LeBron shoes or his
- 26:48impact with with clothing. Like we would be wearing that
- 26:5120-30 years from now. I don't think so, but you never
- 26:56know. But you never know MJ.
- 26:59You know, it's no Trump in that man to come out with shoe after
- 27:02shoe after shoe and for it to be no, pretty much no fails pretty
- 27:06much. When it comes to the.
- 27:08Stylist. Yeah, no.
- 27:12But you know what, a lot of people forget this.
- 27:14A lot of people, they get on LeBron and they ride him, but
- 27:17they they don't, they forget that MJ didn't win nothing until
- 27:21he got his squad with him. He didn't win until he got Kerr
- 27:25and and Pippen and robbing and legs and them guys like that.
- 27:30So they was like, well, you know, LeBron, he couldn't win
- 27:32until he went to Miami with D Wade and then with.
- 27:36Same thing, yeah. Yeah, but but if you look at it,
- 27:39it's the same exact thing. The only thing LeBron did was
- 27:43like he went there. He had, he had a, he was a free
- 27:46agent. You go where he wanted to right
- 27:49now. I think MJ's happened with just,
- 27:53you know, draft, trade, whatever they did theirs.
- 27:55I don't know how they did it back then, but it's the same
- 27:59thing. Basically.
- 28:00He didn't win until he got his squad.
- 28:03LeBron ain't win till he got his squad.
- 28:05But Michael Jordan just has more of AI would say basketball
- 28:10presence. You know what I mean?
- 28:12Like when you think of basketball, he's you you think
- 28:15of MJ now LeBron, that's my dog. Like, you know, he, he because
- 28:20you know, he's, I mean, he's 6869 can run the floor from, you
- 28:25know, he, he, he's got the most points, most assists, most all
- 28:29the stuff he has. But when you just think of
- 28:32basketball itself, you got to, you got to think of, you got to
- 28:36think of MJ, bro. You got to and and here's a let
- 28:40me just add to that, Charl. I think that at the end of the
- 28:44game, who you going to go to? If you need a killer, you need
- 28:49that one point, you need that one bucket, you know, who would
- 28:53you go to? Would you go to MJ or would you
- 28:55go to Jordan? And I think most people would
- 28:58say Jordan because he was a he was a killer.
- 29:00He was assassin. Same thing with Kobe.
- 29:04That's why I got Kobe in the background right now.
- 29:09That's my personal favorite. But like MJ, man, definitely to
- 29:13go. He had the same killer instinct,
- 29:15man, that Kobe had. I think that's why they they
- 29:19actually ended up being real good friends, man.
- 29:22They they thought the same. And of course, Kobe tried to
- 29:25pattern himself after MJ, but that's another topic.
- 29:30Yeah, he didn't work too good. So we right up against the break
- 29:33man. So when we get back out of the
- 29:34break, I want you to think about this.
- 29:36Now you can either look at LeBron or MJ if you had to pick
- 29:41one player for game seven. Who you taking?
- 29:44We'll be right back at the break, y'all.

- 31:15go check him out man. He all over the place.
- 31:17Pipe him in. Y'all find him Doc.
- 31:19So who you got game seven? It ain't got to be LeBron.
- 31:22It ain't got to be Jordan. That who would you take if you
- 31:27had to right now? If you had to pick somebody in a
- 31:30game seven who you got dog. Let's see right now, listen, I'm
- 31:43picking Jordan baby, I'm I'm picking MJI got to, I got to I
- 31:49will pick Kobe next. But game seven, everything on
- 31:53the line, all or nothing, I'm picking MJ and then and I'll
- 31:59feel comfortable about it. OK, what about Shay?
- 32:03What about Shay? I like Shay.
- 32:05I like Shay. A lot of people, a lot of people
- 32:07don't like Shay. I like Shay.
- 32:09I feel like Shay has some Kobeism in them, you know?
- 32:12What about Game 7 for with him though?
- 32:14You know what I'm saying? Would you pick him Game 7 or?
- 32:16Against who? Against who?
- 32:18It depends on who he play. No, no, seriously, I would.
- 32:24I like, I like Shay. Shay is a bucket.
- 32:27So yeah, depending on who he's against.
- 32:31Yeah, but. Definitely Shay.
- 32:34He's a killer too now, yeah. Yeah.
- 32:37That they're going big body Bronson, though, Hey, Bronson is
- 32:40rough, man. I ain't going to lie.
- 32:42I know we off topic a little bit.
- 32:44But no, you good now. Hey, this is an open float.
- 32:46This is called the Q Baker. Conversation big body Bronson
- 32:51man to be his height that strong, that skilled to be able
- 32:58to shoot over big tall 73 Wimby like that's amazing.
- 33:06That's amazing. He fading away and he man,
- 33:08listen, that takes a lot of skill, a lot of hours in the
- 33:11gym. I'm telling you, I'm falling on
- 33:13the ground and just still just find a way to get it off the
- 33:16glass and knock down get I mean, he he definitely showed Dallas
- 33:23what they lost. No.
- 33:25For sure he was in Dallas. They basically gave him away
- 33:28like now they probably like man we should.
- 33:30You're not much. They even gave away dog.
- 33:32They gave away him. They gave away What's the Luca?
- 33:36Luca Yeah. I don't.
- 33:39I don't get it. I don't get it and one thing
- 33:44that impressed me, one person, excuse me, was Castle from the
- 33:49spurs doctor. He was super physical man.
- 33:53I like that dude. I'm like this guy right here,
- 33:56fearless and he going down in there in the trenches with the
- 34:00big bodies and finishing with and ones like almost every time
- 34:05I'm every. Time this dude right?
- 34:07Here is rough a lot of people they've been sleeping on castle.
- 34:11I don't know why but I'm like y'all need to pay attention.
- 34:14This dude is. He's rough man.
- 34:16Now think about it like that's a young team.
- 34:19They're going to be back again next year because they keeping
- 34:23the core together. Just think if they now I like
- 34:26the the Aaron Fox, right, But if they take him out and put
- 34:31another soda point guard, they're like with like a little
- 34:34bit more veteran experience. They're going to be tough.
- 34:38They're going to be hard to beat.
- 34:39They but they also got to teach whimby how, hey, bro, we need
- 34:43you in the paint. Like I understand you can shoot
- 34:46threes and I understand you can do all this.
- 34:48I need you in the paint so we can get people in foul trouble.
- 34:52Yeah, for sure. Because they can't stop him.
- 34:55All you got to do is turn around.
- 34:55His wingspan was probably like 8 foot wingspan.
- 34:58You can't stop him. Turn around the paint dunk and
- 35:01foul, get the foul. He want to shoot 3 pointers.
- 35:04So they got to figure that out. Once they figure that out,
- 35:07they're going to be hard to beat.
- 35:09Yeah, I agree with that. I don't know what happened with
- 35:13Fox. I'm not sure if he even
- 35:14recovered from his injury fully, but Fox wasn't Fox.
- 35:19I was kind of surprised at how he kind of put on the last few
- 35:24games, man, But I expected more from him, man.
- 35:28And, and I didn't get it, man. I was like so.
- 35:32Yeah. But I like him though, so.
- 35:34Let me ask you this SO I'm I'm a jump out of this and come back
- 35:39into it. So since the the Knicks was 53
- 35:45years since they won a chip. 53. Do you think now that the league
- 35:52is going to say, hey, we talk about the NFL, now they're going
- 35:56to say Cowboys this year, y'all turn?
- 36:01Hey, they just might. Who who team?
- 36:04Who Trump like? Y'all better Trump?
- 36:09Trump showed up at that game and they lost like a mug and I.
- 36:12Was they? Definitely.
- 36:14Did the craziest part about that was I was like he showed up to a
- 36:18game, a Knicks game and I was like either they going to flip
- 36:22the narrative and the Knicks going to end up wearing the
- 36:24series, winning the series or they're going to have an excuse
- 36:27of why the Knicks won because Trump showed up.
- 36:29But they ended up winning. They gave it to him, bro.
- 36:34Trump sent them paper through, sent that e-mail said make sure
- 36:38these Knicks win this championship while I'm in
- 36:42presidency, while I'm in here. They will win.
- 36:46They partying right now. I think it's.
- 36:49Like their 80th basketball year so this is a big one for them
- 36:53man. Yeah, yeah.
- 36:54For real. For real.
- 36:56And what's don't? Go ahead and I'll keep going.
- 36:58No. I'm sorry, that's another reason
- 37:00why I feel like it's rigged, because all of a sudden on their
- 37:0380th year. Come on now.
- 37:05They. Got to line this stuff up on the
- 37:0780th year, they all of a sudden win the championship and it's
- 37:12the last time they won was what, 50?
- 37:14What'd you say, 50? Three years ago. 53 years ago.
- 37:17On the 80th on. The 80 you.
- 37:19Better do your homework on on the numbers on the number
- 37:21system. Numbers got meaning man.
- 37:26I'm telling you bro. Think about it man 8 like 53.
- 37:31Oh, that's what I like. What?
- 37:3555 + 3 is 88. I mean being 88 from the 80
- 37:43years of basketball. Service eighters eighters were
- 37:47completion if you 8 yeah yeah, they they got one out the 53
- 37:52years we figured it out Zero man talk 130.
- 37:55Three right, right here. You cancel the zero out because
- 37:58that's what it the zero always counts itself out.
- 38:01So he's just left with eight and it, bro, You know what's funny?
- 38:05I was telling our homeboy Kenny one day, I was like, man,
- 38:09something about the numbers, right?
- 38:11We were looking at some conspiracies, conspiracy
- 38:15theorist stuff, man. And we started lining up dates
- 38:19with times and times with when the last shot was put up on the
- 38:26clock. And like, we started seeing
- 38:28numbers adding up like 3 and four and five, like like they
- 38:32say in church confirmation. 3. And we started getting confirmed
- 38:37from more than three sources. We was like, wait a minute, On
- 38:40this date, at that time, it's 316, the last shot was made.
- 38:44You know what I mean, .31, you know it, it was stuff like that.
- 38:49I was like, wait a minute, wait a minute, we might be on the
- 38:52something. Yeah.
- 38:54But, you know, some people call us crazy conspiracy theorists,
- 38:58but sometimes you got to look at what's right there in front of
- 39:00you. Man, look at the numbers.
- 39:01The numbers don't lie bro. I'm telling the numbers do not
- 39:05lie dog. So what separates greatness from
- 39:08longevity dot I can I can tell you that the, the the greatness
- 39:13is you can in a short period of time like like Jordan short
- 39:18period of time. He did a lot in a short period
- 39:20of time, right. You got guys that have been in
- 39:22the league for 20 years. I like that that.
- 39:25Still ain't accomplished what he accomplished.
- 39:27You think about it, you got who just retired out of the league
- 39:29out the 20 years. Chris Paul never won a chip.
- 39:32God, 20 years and you know MJ, he went in the league that long,
- 39:41but he but he got six of them. Yeah.
- 39:44Just saying So what what you think about it in a short amount
- 39:47of time. So what's your thoughts on that?
- 39:49I agree. I mean you got, I think there's
- 39:53a certain amount of time that you have to accomplish greatness
- 39:56until your body starts declining and then them championships
- 40:01start going further and further away.
- 40:03From you, you know, the chance to further, further away, yeah.
- 40:07These guys, like, boy, he came in the league like just athletic
- 40:11killing. Killing it.
- 40:14I thought he was going to be a promising champion.
- 40:16You know? Me too.
- 40:17He did have longevity in the league.
- 40:19I'll give him that, though. Yeah, yeah.
- 40:21Shout out John Wall man, but Raleigh, NC?
- 40:24Yeah, shout out to John Wall, man.
- 40:25Come on the show, John. We need the highlights.
- 40:28Yeah, but no, I I feel you, man. So let me ask you a question.
- 40:33Go ahead, talk to him. What you think is more
- 40:37important, the greatness or the longevity?
- 40:41Which one has more weight? I would say based on the two we
- 40:48talking about the greatness because we see people still
- 40:52talking about Jordan, you know, after how many years he been
- 40:56out. And I think it now, let me say
- 40:58it like this. If if he hadn't had such great
- 41:01shoes. I don't.
- 41:03Yeah, the whole thing 'cause you think about, think about this,
- 41:07you got like people like Robert Ory, Yeah, he got like 5 or 6.
- 41:12He played with the Lakers and the Spurs.
- 41:15He got, he got 5 or 6 of them. Nobody talks about him 'cause he
- 41:20has no good shoes. Probably no shoes, Probably no.
- 41:27Shoes but MJ. Yeah, nobody's kill them.
- 41:31Kill them with these Orys. Think about it.
- 41:36Nobody. If he hadn't had great shoes,
- 41:40nobody probably like Jordan, they probably if he had went to
- 41:42Adidas like in the beginning instead of Nike, nobody would
- 41:47have been really talking. I will.
- 41:50I'm glad he didn't because we got some fly JS.
- 41:52We're out of the deal. You know what I'm saying?
- 41:54Lying. I don't know how the Adidas
- 41:56would look, but but I'm, I'm, I think it's, I think it's
- 42:03greatness, if you ask me. It's greatness and I think that
- 42:06it there was a complete package with Jordan from his, When I say
- 42:10his or I mean like his style, like his, like the way he would
- 42:16move, lay the ball up, the way he would finish, the way he
- 42:20would be flying in the air and you know it.
- 42:22It was more than just him scoring buckets.
- 42:25I think that's what LeBron doesn't have is like the aura of
- 42:31just greatness, of just, it just looks good.
- 42:34He made it look. Good.
- 42:36You know what I mean? Do like this right here and then
- 42:38go up on the like that with the other hand, yeah.
- 42:40Yeah, it's like, man, what? How did you do that, bro?
- 42:44Like what made you do that? In the air.
- 42:46You just thought of that, bro, or you practice that.
- 42:49I just thought of that right here.
- 42:53Like he had swag right before they was calling it swag man.
- 42:57That was Jordan, man. That was Jordan died.
- 43:01And then think about when Jordan left the game and came back,
- 43:03man, like, would LeBron have had the same impact?
- 43:09I doubt it. That's probably why he didn't
- 43:11leave and come back. He just he got longevity, but
- 43:15his longevity is one of the things that caused him to be
- 43:19like one O 1A depends on whoever you are, because he you know, he
- 43:23does have the most points. He does have the most assists
- 43:27and some other records. He even broke.
- 43:29The only thing he hasn't accomplished is the most chips,
- 43:32but he's been to the finals. I think more than anybody that I
- 43:35can think of. You know what, 8-9 times in the
- 43:38in in the East. Yeah, he he been playing a long
- 43:41time. Too he been playing a long.
- 43:47Don't. Get come on the show.
- 43:52Tell LeBron, come on the show, man, it's it's all respect.
- 43:59It's all respect, man. He's doing some stuff that we
- 44:01never seen before man. I I heard he had this, I guess
- 44:05couple $1,000,000. It's like a, it looks like a
- 44:10porta potty, but it's like a ice machine where he gets in there.
- 44:14Yeah, yeah, some chamber machine I forgot, but.
- 44:18Yeah, yeah, right. But it's like an ice machine.
- 44:21Whatever. It gets super, super cold after
- 44:24the games. That's like his ritual.
- 44:27And I was like, man, this dude takes care of his body like.
- 44:30He does. Man.
- 44:31Technology. Something, man.
- 44:32They said like a couple million a year in his body is what he
- 44:35do. So we bout to be up against his
- 44:37last break. So I'm going to ask you this.
- 44:39So when we come out to break, think about this.
- 44:42Can anyone ever surpass Michael Jordan legacy?
- 44:47Do you think anybody I'm to about any player playing right
- 44:51now or say like for example, you may see a young player like OK,
- 44:57the way they balling right now, they might be all right, but
- 44:59we're going to talk about that y'all right at the break.
- 45:01We'll be right back, y'all. Stats tell that each day, 22
- 45:04veterans commit suicide due to PTSD.
- 45:08These stats shook us and urged us to do our part.
- 45:11After hours and hours of thinking, beekeeping for
- 45:15veterans was born. Beekeeping for veterans combines
- 45:18beekeeping with mindfulness meditation.
- 45:21Why combine them? Here's why Beekeeping causes
- 45:25positive rush of adrenaline. While beekeeping you have to be
- 45:29calm during it. You are mindful of your
- 45:32movements. Each week a veteran will receive
- 45:35a mindful meditation to build emotional and mental skill sets.
- 45:39Mindfulness is a set of three attentional skills that work
- 45:43together concentration, sensory clarity and equanimity, mental
- 45:47calmness, composure, evenness of temper.
- 45:51Every time mindfulness is practiced, we build these
- 45:53skills. Beekeeping for veterans not only
- 45:56helps veterans overcome emotional trauma, but also aids
- 46:00our environment as without bees there is no food.
- 46:04Come forward. The people who have supported
- 46:06your country now need your support.
- 46:15Military broadcast radio, the station that's giving veterans a
- 46:19voice. Find us on the web, the NB radio
- 46:22dot US. Opinions expressed in this
- 46:25program are those of the speakers and do not necessarily
- 46:29reflect the views or positions of any entities they represent.
- 46:34Welcome back man. Talk 133.
- 46:37What man, my man? Cute Baker in the house y'all.
- 46:42What's? Up.
- 46:43Hey, man, I appreciate you coming on the show, bro.
- 46:45It's been real fun, dog, real real fun.
- 46:48So before we went to break, man, can anybody surpass Michael
- 46:52Jordan's legacy? Do you think anybody can do
- 46:54that? Let me tell you something.
- 46:57Talk to Whim Benyana. Yeah, Whimby is one of those
- 47:02guys that's already in conversations of deep defensive
- 47:06player of the year. He's an MVP talks.
- 47:10I mean, this guy right here is probably somebody that I would,
- 47:14I'm not going to put him up there against them.
- 47:17But what I'll say is he's very promising and he could have some
- 47:21type of Jordan like Legacy with him being a rim protector, him
- 47:26being a shot maker playmaker like this dude is.
- 47:31He's versatile, that tall. I can see it.
- 47:36You know. I can see 20.
- 47:37Two, he's 22. 22 years old, bro. I definitely can see him doing
- 47:43that because you think about it, bro, he's 22 years old.
- 47:49They made it to the NBA Finals. Yeah.
- 47:53At 22, you know what I'm saying? And he's the one that's really
- 47:56was the one that's leading the team, you know what I'm saying?
- 48:00So at 22, to be able to get to the NBA Finals, that says a lot.
- 48:05You got to be doing something, brother.
- 48:07Yes. Step backs, I ain't never seen
- 48:09No 7, three ball player handle the ball the way he does, bro
- 48:13and and shoot it the way that he does.
- 48:16You know, it's something that we've never seen before, man.
- 48:19Yeah, you like the cheat code doc he got like, no, seriously.
- 48:23Yeah. Never seen it before and you got
- 48:26some other players too, man. But I don't think I don't think
- 48:29that just my personal opinion. I like Shay, but I don't think
- 48:33he's going to be the one that's going to do that.
- 48:37You know what I'm saying? Because Howard Shay probably he
- 48:40were about 2727, something like that 28 maybe he's still wearing
- 48:46that age range, right. So you think about if he's 20,
- 48:49I'm going to give it I'm going to say I'm going to say 25.
- 48:51Let's say if he's 25, he is like another 10 years.
- 48:57Yeah. To win six ships straight, I
- 49:00don't see that happening, not in the West.
- 49:03I really don't see that it's. Going to be tough, huh?
- 49:05It's going to be tough in the West because you still got you
- 49:07still got Minnesota. They come.
- 49:10Oh yeah. About the squad, what if they
- 49:14make some trades out there in the West and somebody get
- 49:17Giannis out there in the West, right?
- 49:22It's going to be tough, man. So I don't I don't know, I don't
- 49:24think he's going to be the one. I mean, you got some other
- 49:26players too, but I'm like you, Wimby is about the only one.
- 49:29I can really see that the way he's playing that can really,
- 49:34you know, because LeBron, he can.
- 49:36He's not going to make it, bro. He, he, the team he's on, he
- 49:40ain't going to get no more chips.
- 49:41It's over. And that's, and that's my team,
- 49:44man, The Lakers man. Yeah.
- 49:47But yeah, we not looking good too, too good right now.
- 49:50We need to, we need to tighten up.
- 49:53I like. Shadow, I like Shadow for that
- 49:56conversation. Don't forget about Cooper flag
- 50:00though. As a rookie, the numbers he was
- 50:02putting up. Man, I ain't going to say he and
- 50:06Jordan talk, but he's looking promising for sure.
- 50:10He definitely is, man. We're going.
- 50:11We're going to have to see man because it it's coming again.
- 50:14If you know the old guys, you know y'all had y'all fun.
- 50:18Go ahead and sit down and let the young guys see what they
- 50:20got. Lebron's still getting shine,
- 50:23Steph's still getting shine. I mean, you got Durant still
- 50:27getting shine and they still, they're not performing the way
- 50:30they used to perform. So let the the new guys, let
- 50:33them go ahead and take over the league, bro.
- 50:35Let somebody else be the face, Anthony Edwards.
- 50:37Let them guys take over and be the face of the league, man.
- 50:40Yeah, it's time. It's time, doll.
- 50:43It's time. So, doll, I'm going to
- 50:44transition just a little bit, you know?
- 50:46Yeah. You're a Christian man.
- 50:50I'm a Christian man too. So how do you think a man
- 50:53discovers his purpose? You know what I mean?
- 50:57Like, like a lot. I think me personally, a lot of
- 51:01men don't know what their purpose is.
- 51:04That's good, yeah. So it's kind of hard for them to
- 51:07discover the purpose when they don't know what you know, they
- 51:10don't even know where to look. And if you don't have people
- 51:13that are speaking into you and telling you what your purpose
- 51:16is, how you, how can they find it?
- 51:19That's very true. That's a tricky question right
- 51:22there. Honestly, I'm going to just say
- 51:25I'm going to tell you how I found my purpose was.
- 51:28It was my purpose was all around me and and I tell my wife the
- 51:33same thing. Music was surrounded by I was
- 51:37surrounded by music. Excuse me.
- 51:39So from the time I woke up to the time I went to sleep, I was
- 51:44hearing music. I was playing music.
- 51:46I was so it was destined for me to do something with music.
- 51:51I enjoyed music just listening to it.
- 51:53I didn't just have to, I didn't have to play it, but just
- 51:58hearing it, you know, So I knew I was going to do something with
- 52:02music. And I told my wife because she
- 52:04said, you know, she said, well, what is my purpose?
- 52:08You know, And I told, I said, you're a giving person.
- 52:11You're a loving person. I said, maybe your purpose is,
- 52:15is like giving back, like evangelism.
- 52:19Maybe your purpose is, is starting the homeless shelter,
- 52:23maybe your purpose, you know, because she has a kind heart.
- 52:28And so once I told her that, you know, that's when she started
- 52:31feeling like, you know what, you might be right.
- 52:34You know, I think my purpose is, you know, to give back to
- 52:38people, whatever it is, you know.
- 52:40So I think you got to do some soul searching.
- 52:43You got to do some praying for those young men that are trying
- 52:47to find their purpose. And yeah, man.
- 52:51And what's key is, like you said, you got to your wife had
- 52:54somebody around her that could see that and you spoken to us.
- 52:57It was kind of like, hey, you got to have people around you
- 53:00got to have good people around you.
- 53:02You know, just like, you know, and this is the thing why you
- 53:04got to have people, good people around you, because why do so
- 53:08many men struggle with the identity to to with the
- 53:13identities because they don't have the right people around
- 53:17them. Yeah, you think about like, you
- 53:19know, most people that grew up in the streets, that's not your
- 53:23identity. Somebody identified you as oh,
- 53:25no, you that you, you can definitely be that right, right.
- 53:29You be a killer for the show. And they picked up.
- 53:31That's not their identity, but they running with it because now
- 53:35they what they what they they want here to quit.
- 53:37Is that what they nickname is? You know what I'm saying?
- 53:40Product of the environment. That's all it is.
- 53:43There you go, man. I'm.
- 53:44Monkey see, monkey do. And you got to have the right
- 53:47people just around you. I mean, if you ain't in the
- 53:50church, somebody can, you know, help you identify what your
- 53:55identity is. You got to know that as a man,
- 53:59you got to know that. So what advice could you give
- 54:02someone that you feel like because you knew what yours was
- 54:04all around you? Because a lot of times people
- 54:06don't look around them. They looking for this big, this
- 54:10big purpose for them to do. I I know it's got to be
- 54:13something bigger for me to do. That's good.
- 54:17What advice you can give somebody that that's stuck?
- 54:21Do you that they, they come to you like man, I don't know what
- 54:23I need to be doing, man. Like I, I'm just in life.
- 54:26I'm just stuck. I think that whatever that thing
- 54:31is, it comes natural to you. It it can come natural to you.
- 54:37I feel like whatever it is, it'll just flow like you won't
- 54:44have to really think about what it is that you're doing.
- 54:47It just come, it's a part of you in in other words.
- 54:51So it it can be, like I said, it can be given back.
- 54:54It can be being a doctor, you know, you giving back in the
- 54:58medical field because you're treating, you know, injuries and
- 55:03illnesses and infections. So yeah, I think that soul
- 55:10searching and then also just kind of thinking about what
- 55:14comes natural to them. What would you like to do also,
- 55:18you know what I mean? Like sometimes you can find your
- 55:21purpose in in some of your hobbies, you know?
- 55:24So that's just my personal opinion.
- 55:27In your opinion, what makes a great leader?
- 55:32A leader is a great leader, is very patient.
- 55:38They think about the complete team, not just one person.
- 55:42You know how to handle different personalities because that's one
- 55:48of the biggest things when you're being a a great leader,
- 55:51you're going to have all these different personalities clashing
- 55:53with each other. And you got to be a problem
- 55:56solver for for one thing, you got to be a person that can see
- 55:59things in the future also and not just what's right here at
- 56:05face value. You got to see things for like
- 56:08what they are and what's deeper and what's behind what you see.
- 56:11So that's just my take on it. Yeah, and so now excuse me, I
- 56:17keep clearing my throat. I don't know why I do that, but
- 56:19I'm clearing my throat, y'all. That's what I do.
- 56:20Too what? What leadership mistakes do most
- 56:24men make bro? Like, I know some common
- 56:29mistakes that men in leadership make.
- 56:32And one of the main mistakes is you can't show favoritism
- 56:36towards women. Oh, no, you can't.
- 56:39You can't do it. You just can't.
- 56:41That's one of the things you cannot do as a leader.
- 56:44You know, you can't treat everybody as like you treat your
- 56:49kids like you got some leaders, some men that they talk to,
- 56:52grown men like they talk to their kids.
- 56:54Oh no, yeah, we can't do that. What do you think Some.
- 56:59You're right. But you think the mistakes they
- 57:03make, most men make man. Well, a lot of times when you in
- 57:09that high of a position, I think for one thing, when it comes to
- 57:16women, let's just talk about women.
- 57:17I think that a lot of that, let's just be honest and and
- 57:21keep it all the way real. It turns some women on it it
- 57:25when they find out you're a leader and you're this great
- 57:27person. It's something about, you know,
- 57:30being a alpha male that women are attracted to, being
- 57:34confident, you know, being walking with authority.
- 57:36And it's like, I guess it just makes them wonder like what what
- 57:40is it about him that's so great that he feels like he's so great
- 57:44or he's just leader. So with being a leader comes a
- 57:47lot of perks too. So like, but a lot of mistakes
- 57:50they probably make is can't keep it in your pants.
- 57:54You're showing favoritism. Yeah, yeah.
- 57:57So. Yeah.
- 57:59So let me ask you this because we we got like a couple of
- 58:02minutes before we get out of here.
- 58:04This is probably tough for some people.
- 58:07How do you lead when nobody's following?
- 58:12How do you lead when nobody is following?
- 58:15Who you leading? Right.
- 58:17So how do you leave? So I think that that question is
- 58:21more so like, how do you carry yourself?
- 58:24Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, no.
- 58:25I got when nobody, yeah, when nobody's like, like, like for
- 58:29example, people watching you no matter what.
- 58:32That's. For.
- 58:33Sure, but when you by yourself, can you?
- 58:37Integrity is how you act when ain't nobody watching.
- 58:41So how could you leave people when ain't nobody watching?
- 58:44Like for me, example for me when I was in the Air Force, I was
- 58:47doing cheap. So at a certain time since we
- 58:50had a female drill instructor, which was a military training
- 58:54instructor MTI, she will leave. So now I'm over 50 something
- 58:58people. So I'm by myself.
- 59:01So how am I going to how am I going to leave these people when
- 59:04ain't nobody watching? Am I going to do the same thing
- 59:06they doing? I'm going to do it this way,
- 59:08this way. So I got to, I had to lead
- 59:10straight down the middle. So when they weren't watching
- 59:13me, how I thought they won't watch it, you know, I had to
- 59:17lead a certain way. So that's, I guess it's how do
- 59:20you leave when nobody's following you?
- 59:22If you got to just be a man and do what you got to do, I guess
- 59:26that's the, you know, the my explanation of it, you know what
- 59:29I mean? No, that's good.
- 59:30It, I think it, it definitely speaks to your integrity to lead
- 59:35without having someone following you or, or someone's following
- 59:39you. So yeah, it comes from within
- 59:41your morals and goals and stuff come into play.
- 59:44And I think, like you said, when nobody's around or you think
- 59:47nobody's around because somebody's always watching, even
- 59:49if it's God, somebody, you know, somebody is always watching you
- 59:54and you should always carry yourself as such.
- 59:57And what brother we on our way out?
