- 0:14Speaker 1: Stuff in the news, whatever you want. Gina suggested, I
- 0:17Speaker 1: read Meg the Manager's email and then we'll go over
- 0:22Speaker 1: it again. Probably Tim, Tim the tree guy. Tim the
- 0:26Speaker 1: tree Guy is going to be angry. I'm sending this,
- 0:28Speaker 1: but I'll ask forgiveness later. Tim was rear ended yesterday.
- 0:32Speaker 1: This was a couple of days ago. Now his back
- 0:35Speaker 1: L five is fractured whiplash and his work truck is totaled.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Wow.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yes, we called the advocates, but it'll take a while
- 0:41Speaker 1: to get everything settled. Our monthly bills are not going
- 0:44Speaker 1: to wait. I happen to be starting a brand new job,
- 0:47Speaker 1: so no vacation PTO time Oh to take off and
- 0:50Speaker 1: care for Tim. While we're getting well, we're still getting paid.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I open to gofund me. He hates me asking for
- 0:57Speaker 1: help at all, but these are desperate times, and you
- 1:00Speaker 1: please share the fundraiser for Tim the tree Guy and
- 1:05Speaker 1: Meg the Manager. Some of you, A lot of you
- 1:07Speaker 1: know him.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Good friends of the program. They come to all of
- 1:10Speaker 3: our our events, events.
- 1:12Speaker 1: And uh, this go fundme is where I'm looking at
- 1:15Speaker 1: it here it's GoFundMe dot com. And then it's I
- 1:20Speaker 1: don't understand. There's a bunch of number post a link.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll post a link on our social media's.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Do you have that? Katie? I think Katie has it,
- 1:31Speaker 1: she could post it.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Do you have the go fund me link?
- 1:34Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, she says she's got it. So yeah,
- 1:37Speaker 1: And you know they're really nice people and need a
- 1:41Speaker 1: little help. Yeah, that's uh.
- 1:43Speaker 4: And and that's I think the only truck that he
- 1:45Speaker 4: has to do this work. And the he's independent, he
- 1:48Speaker 4: doesn't work for anybody.
- 1:49Speaker 1: And the you know, the the advocates, they're there, they'll
- 1:52Speaker 1: their help will kick in, but it's gonna take a
- 1:54Speaker 1: little time exactly. Yeah, all right, there we go.
- 1:58Speaker 4: All right, well let's see who we got here. Let's
- 2:02Speaker 4: begin our feature with Michelle. Hello Michelle, Him, Michelle, where
- 2:06Speaker 4: are you calling from?
- 2:08Speaker 5: We's Jordan.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Uh huh, what's up?
- 2:11Speaker 6: Well?
- 2:12Speaker 5: I have this little problem. I know you guys can
- 2:14Speaker 5: help me with this. I work in a big warehouse
- 2:17Speaker 5: and I was just passing through my area. This is
- 2:19Speaker 5: like a year and a half ago, and I heard
- 2:22Speaker 5: this song plane, and it was just at the very
- 2:25Speaker 5: end of the song, and this tune has been stuck
- 2:27Speaker 5: in my head. Leave Bill, you've referred to this as
- 2:29Speaker 5: an earworm.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I invent for you.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Maybe you can help me identify it. Okay, go ahead,
- 2:36Speaker 5: all right, So this is kind of an obscure ending.
- 2:38Speaker 5: I mean really, I've tried seeing it for like Shazam
- 2:41Speaker 5: or SoundHound, and everyone's like, oh, we can't.
- 2:44Speaker 1: We have story.
- 2:45Speaker 4: We have Gino Barbary that's better than any of those.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Go ahead, you're the experts. Okay, here we go. No no, no,
- 3:00Speaker 5: no dona. So it does this like three times and
- 3:03Speaker 5: then it fades out and like that was the end
- 3:05Speaker 5: of the song. And I'm like, who was singing?
- 3:06Speaker 1: That sounds like a theme song from a show?
- 3:09Speaker 5: Some kind of song I want to say, like the
- 3:11Speaker 5: mid two thousands, like two thousand and five to two thousand.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And nine, or yeah, or a game show theme is
- 3:17Speaker 1: it sounds like a game show or a TV show theme?
- 3:20Speaker 4: Now was what style of music was it?
- 3:23Speaker 5: It's definitely alternative rock. I mean then this is like
- 3:26Speaker 5: an electronic melody, an electronica, and I know it came
- 3:29Speaker 5: at the end of a song of an alternative rock
- 3:31Speaker 5: song that used to be on the radio.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Do it again, and we'll have our people listen.
- 3:36Speaker 5: Okay, all right, because like there was like a chorus
- 3:39Speaker 5: and a verse and then suddenly and the song just
- 3:41Speaker 5: ends like this, Da da da da da da da
- 3:43Speaker 5: da da No no no no da da da da
- 3:47Speaker 5: da da da da da da. It's not.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Done.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Well. I'm sure a lot of people who are listening
- 3:55Speaker 1: right now will have some ideas. Keep listening.
- 3:57Speaker 4: They're probably yelling at their radios right now.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Keep listening.
- 4:01Speaker 4: It's not the green Acre's theme.
- 4:03Speaker 5: I know that closet song. This in like the late
- 4:08Speaker 5: mid late two thousand.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Okay, all right, all right, keep listening, thank you.
- 4:14Speaker 3: It's it's clicking in there somewhere for me.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Maybe it'll something. Keep listening, Michelle, somebody will get that. Meg,
- 4:22Speaker 4: the manager says that link is wrong. I can send
- 4:24Speaker 4: the correct one if you tell me where to send it. Yeah,
- 4:28Speaker 4: I mean you can just send it to Yeah, call
- 4:30Speaker 4: Katie and she'll give you the proper link. Yeah, all right, Meg,
- 4:33Speaker 4: there we go. Then we'll we'll put it up later today. Well,
- 4:37Speaker 4: we will continue with name that tune. I mean, hello, Hello, Hello, Yeah,
- 4:41Speaker 4: what coming up? Michelle says, start with okay, Google, and
- 4:45Speaker 4: then what song is this?
- 4:46Speaker 1: And it'll tell you what to do. Oh just say hey, Google,
- 4:50Speaker 1: what song is this?
- 4:51Speaker 4: Was it putting on the ritz? Guy says it's a
- 4:55Speaker 4: critical mistake? Critical mistake by eight eight eight?
- 5:03Speaker 1: Let me look that up?
- 5:03Speaker 4: Okay, anyway, Yeah, we think Michelle that this is the
- 5:06Speaker 4: one you're thinking of. It's critical mistakes by eight eight eight.
- 5:20Speaker 4: The band is called eight eight eight three numbers literal.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's got to be.
- 5:28Speaker 3: It's it, that's got to be it.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Well done investigative friends of infiniteam.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Somebody came up with it almost immediately.
- 5:37Speaker 4: That was guy in the chat room.
- 5:38Speaker 1: He's boom, he's real good at that. All right.
- 5:41Speaker 3: See we can answer questions like that, well, yeah, what
- 5:45Speaker 3: or anything you like?
- 5:47Speaker 4: All right, let's see we got let's go here.
- 5:50Speaker 1: This is Grant. Hi, Grant, where are you calling from? Okay?
- 5:57Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 5:57Speaker 1: What question?
- 6:00Speaker 8: Yeah? Okay. So I've never had a drink before. I
- 6:05Speaker 8: had my girlfriend go out the other night and she
- 6:07Speaker 8: had several sounds like I don't know whether to believe
- 6:11Speaker 8: her story, but she apparently was at multiple different bars
- 6:15Speaker 8: rolls herself there and only remembers being at one bar. No,
- 6:20Speaker 8: somebody has never consumed alcohol. I don't know whether to
- 6:23Speaker 8: believe that. I kind of don't, so I wanted to
- 6:25Speaker 8: see what you guys.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Can happen.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it can happen.
- 6:28Speaker 3: She shouldn't be doing that, that's for sure.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Yeah, she shouldn't be driving.
- 6:32Speaker 8: We established that.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, but you can sort of lose have no memory.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I don't remember what I did last night, and you
- 6:41Speaker 1: were just home. I was No.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that can but that's concerning. It's not that's
- 6:47Speaker 3: not a joke. It's not a joke.
- 6:48Speaker 1: That's shouldn't be doing that. That's black it's blackout drinking,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and and people can sort of still function sometimes when
- 6:56Speaker 1: they're blackout drunk, but it's not safe and you shouldn't
- 7:00Speaker 1: do it. Yeah.
- 7:01Speaker 7: Right.
- 7:02Speaker 8: The signature on the receipt was beautiful handwriting, so it
- 7:05Speaker 8: kind of made me wonder.
- 7:06Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 7:07Speaker 2: No, like like those saying you can sort of function
- 7:09Speaker 2: in the moment but not remember it later. All right,
- 7:13Speaker 2: certainly certainly possible.
- 7:15Speaker 4: All right, all right, here's a text question, fop Holly.
- 7:20Speaker 4: I've been wondering for some time about Todd and Artie fuckin.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Are they separate people or the same person?
- 7:27Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 7:28Speaker 4: I love Artie, but the he almost sounds like Todd
- 7:30Speaker 4: if his nose is plugged up looking for clarification.
- 7:33Speaker 1: We don't know.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Sometimes they are different, different they are are they are
- 7:37Speaker 4: different people.
- 7:38Speaker 1: I think they seem very much alike to me.
- 7:40Speaker 4: And Texter says memory loss from drinking is retrograde. Your
- 7:43Speaker 4: brain won't encode memories the same way. That's that's why
- 7:47Speaker 4: it kind of works there.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I forgot that.
- 7:49Speaker 5: There you go.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Let's go to Chad.
- 7:53Speaker 1: What Chad? All right, Chad? Where are you calling from?
- 7:58Speaker 9: Calling from Ogden?
- 7:59Speaker 1: Okay for today?
- 8:01Speaker 9: Okay, Hooper, But I'm just kidding. No, I was actually
- 8:08Speaker 9: going to comment because you said something earlier. And I've
- 8:10Speaker 9: actually been saying for a while that we really ought
- 8:13Speaker 9: to let just women run the government. Yes, and like
- 8:15Speaker 9: let all the men take a break.
- 8:16Speaker 4: I've been saying it for years.
- 8:19Speaker 9: I just like, because like, here's the thing, we've been
- 8:26Speaker 9: doing it for so long and clearly we're not. I
- 8:32Speaker 9: think we can do better.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Well, it's plain, it's quite simple. Women get things done.
- 8:39Speaker 9: Exactly. You know, they're smarter than us. And I say
- 8:42Speaker 9: that every single day to my wife.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Well, you know why they're smarter than us, because because
- 8:47Speaker 1: for too long women have been coddled. Huh what, they've
- 8:52Speaker 1: been coddled. They've been coddled, they've been they just you know,
- 8:56Speaker 1: they just they get everything they want. They've just been coddled,
- 9:00Speaker 1: and that makes it Yeah. Oh wait a minute, I
- 9:05Speaker 1: was quoting thinking, yeah you're thinking.
- 9:07Speaker 9: Yeah, oh sorry, sorry, wrong program.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Right, mister Hannity says, all right, Chad, thank you, thank you.
- 9:16Speaker 1: That eight seven seven six zero two nine six nine
- 9:20Speaker 1: six The lines are wide open.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Hell yeah, what let's see. Why do you say k
- 9:25Speaker 4: x RK provo before a break?
- 9:26Speaker 1: Well, it's our city of license.
- 9:28Speaker 4: I do it at the top of the hour. It's
- 9:30Speaker 4: an FCC regulation. We have to you have to say
- 9:34Speaker 4: your city of license first. There's a there's a ten
- 9:36Speaker 4: minute window at the top of the hour. Five minutes
- 9:39Speaker 4: before and five minutes after that you have to say
- 9:42Speaker 4: your official call letters, which are k x RK and
- 9:45Speaker 4: city of license Provo, and then.
- 9:47Speaker 1: You can police will come get us, and then you
- 9:49Speaker 1: can tag on any other cities you want. You say
- 9:53Speaker 1: k x r K provo Ogden, Paris, France, and London, England.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Ye can say say whatever you want that Artie and
- 10:03Speaker 4: Benny the Egg are never in the same room.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I have never seen that.
- 10:07Speaker 1: True. That's true, that's true.
- 10:09Speaker 4: I always thought that Todd and Ardi were like some
- 10:11Speaker 4: sort of situation similar to that substance.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Movie would be.
- 10:16Speaker 4: And everybody's on this. This is what all people want
- 10:18Speaker 4: to talk about today. Eight seven, seven, six oh two
- 10:21Speaker 4: nine six nine six. Can you have Genis show us
- 10:24Speaker 4: how fast she is at name that tune?
- 10:28Speaker 6: I did it.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Earlier with earth Wind and Fire.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Yeah, you were naming earth Wind and Fire songs.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Although you gotta listen. You can't podcast that.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Yeah, it's get kicked off of YouTube, Carrie. How do
- 10:41Speaker 4: you choose the drops?
- 10:42Speaker 1: You pick?
- 10:43Speaker 4: Basically, it's what you're hearing is the TV shows that
- 10:46Speaker 4: I have watched. And if I find a line or
- 10:50Speaker 4: a scene that is, you know, not pushing the story forward,
- 10:53Speaker 4: it has to be stand alone.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Then it can't be visual and I can't.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Let's see, what did you think of Kanye West's girlfriend
- 11:03Speaker 4: outfit for the Grammys?
- 11:05Speaker 3: Actually I kind of want to talk about that.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Actually, let me make one comment or two about it.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Just first, she whenever I've seen her with him, and
- 11:13Speaker 1: she's always wearing something sort of scandalous, but she always
- 11:16Speaker 1: she also looks like she's a zombie. You know what
- 11:19Speaker 1: I mean?
- 11:20Speaker 3: Well, probably I wanted to say about it, is I
- 11:24Speaker 3: get an abusive vibe.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah, from that, that's what I think too.
- 11:28Speaker 2: And if you watched it, she's got this big fur
- 11:32Speaker 2: coat on and you can tell she's sort of hesitating
- 11:36Speaker 2: and he's like leaning over, like giving her instructions on
- 11:41Speaker 2: what to do, and she's like deer.
- 11:43Speaker 3: In the headlights.
- 11:45Speaker 1: That's what I mean when I say she's like a zombie.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Whenever I see them together, it's like she's under his
- 11:50Speaker 1: control somehow.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like somebody needs to look into that.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I don't trust Kanye at all, and he kind of
- 11:59Speaker 2: used to do that with Kim, if you remember. They
- 12:03Speaker 2: would go to things and she'd be very scantily dressed,
- 12:08Speaker 2: and I feel like it, and he used to say,
- 12:10Speaker 2: I'm her stylist, I dress her.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I get.
- 12:16Speaker 4: I get the feeling that there's a certain amount of
- 12:18Speaker 4: control happening there.
- 12:19Speaker 1: See line one. We got some calls. Yeah, who's at Chris?
- 12:23Speaker 7: Is that Chris?
- 12:24Speaker 5: Hello?
- 12:25Speaker 4: Chris's Hello?
- 12:26Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:26Speaker 1: What hey? Chris? Where are you calling from?
- 12:29Speaker 9: Hey, guys, I'm calling from Harriman.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Okay, go ahead.
- 12:34Speaker 10: So this last weekend, we had some white supremacists NAT
- 12:38Speaker 10: marched through our neighborhood. I'd really upstarted a lot of
- 12:41Speaker 10: us constituents out here, and so we started getting on
- 12:46Speaker 10: Facebook and demanding that our public officials actually say something
- 12:50Speaker 10: instead of just letting this go. As of this morning,
- 12:53Speaker 10: from what I understand, the mayor has finally put out
- 12:56Speaker 10: something saying that that's not acceptable, which I'm very proud of.
- 13:01Speaker 8: What's your name that.
- 13:04Speaker 9: Lauren Palmer?
- 13:04Speaker 6: Okay, okay, And we're hoping that we can get a
- 13:09Speaker 6: lot of people around Utah, especially a lot of our listeners,
- 13:12Speaker 6: to write the governor to demand something similar. Obviously it
- 13:15Speaker 6: works and you get on to.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Introdu Yeah, you might like to know Chris that that
- 13:22Speaker 1: that group won the Boner of the Day yesterday.
- 13:25Speaker 10: I did hear that.
- 13:27Speaker 5: That was awesome.
- 13:27Speaker 9: So we're we're we're glad that they won Boner of
- 13:30Speaker 9: the Day, but we need our governor and our officials
- 13:33Speaker 9: to stand up and speak out against this because it's
- 13:36Speaker 9: the only way things are going to change. So I'm
- 13:38Speaker 9: just encouraging everyone to please write our governor and ask
- 13:42Speaker 9: him to do the same thing for all of Utah,
- 13:44Speaker 9: that this should be an inclusive place, that we have
- 13:47Speaker 9: a lot of refugees and immigrants here legally that are beautiful, wonderful,
- 13:51Speaker 9: amazing people, and we need to stand by their side
- 13:55Speaker 9: and demand that our officials say the same, exact same.
- 13:58Speaker 2: And I'm glad you, as a resid if Harriman are
- 14:00Speaker 2: saying this so people don't say, well everybody and Harreman
- 14:03Speaker 2: must feel this way about it.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Glad you're speaking.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Thank you, Chris.
- 14:07Speaker 4: Guy in the chat room. Found Guy in the chat
- 14:09Speaker 4: room found the statement from the mayor, and he says,
- 14:12Speaker 4: and I agree, it needs to be stronger. I mean,
- 14:15Speaker 4: it's nice that they did this, but could a stronger statement. Yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 4: let's finish up with Garrett here. That's all the time
- 14:23Speaker 4: we have fight.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Garrett. Where are you calling from? Garrett?
- 14:27Speaker 7: Pleasant?
- 14:28Speaker 5: Go?
- 14:28Speaker 1: Okay, what's up? What's up there?
- 14:32Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 14:34Speaker 7: Oh, thanks for letting me listen.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 14:37Speaker 10: I just wanted to.
- 14:38Speaker 7: I just wanted to know your thoughts on on ketamine
- 14:41Speaker 7: and if there's if there's a stigma around that therapy
- 14:46Speaker 7: now because of the accusation of allegations of you.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Well, We got a text from a nurse yesterday who
- 14:56Speaker 4: listens all the time, and she says, you know that
- 14:58Speaker 4: she feels that it's beengmatized fentanyl.
- 15:03Speaker 1: This ketamine is Yeah, I think ketamine is a it's
- 15:07Speaker 1: a it's a useful tool when used in in a
- 15:12Speaker 1: you know, a clinical setting, with people who are smart
- 15:15Speaker 1: enough to know how to use it. It's it's can
- 15:18Speaker 1: be very effective. I loved my.
- 15:21Speaker 7: Wife in twenty twenty two and ketmine therapy has saved
- 15:27Speaker 7: my life. I just hate it.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I understand.
- 15:33Speaker 2: So so Matthew Perry. Matthew Perry died from ketymine overdose.
- 15:39Speaker 2: He was being treated by a doctor, which is if
- 15:44Speaker 2: you're going to do it, that's the way to do it.
- 15:46Speaker 2: And but he went outside of that and started doctor
- 15:49Speaker 2: shopping with other people to get more. So if you
- 15:52Speaker 2: if you stick with it with a licensed, honest, honorable doctor.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I've had a couple of kenabine therapy sessions myself, and uh,
- 16:06Speaker 1: I found it to be I haven't kept up with it,
- 16:10Speaker 1: so I I can't really say how, you know, efficacious
- 16:14Speaker 1: it was in the long run, but the but what
- 16:16Speaker 1: I did do was very instructive and kind of enlightening
- 16:20Speaker 1: and interesting and so yeah, but that was with license.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You know, psychologists, we're professional, all right, we gotta go.
- 16:31Speaker 7: With that.
- 16:31Speaker 1: It helped to Garrett.
- 16:32Speaker 4: Thank you, you gotta go, Garrett, Sorry about that, Okay,
